- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Happy Holidays, everybody, Welcome to game debut. Patrick clay About
- 0:14Speaker 2: here with Greg Rosenhalen, Cynthia Freeland here in the Chris
- 0:17Speaker 2: Wesley Podcast studio. We enjoy football, and what better time
- 0:21Speaker 2: to spend this time with football because.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Football is family. Talking about these games with all these
- 0:26Speaker 3: folks and.
- 0:26Speaker 4: You guys outside of my family, there's no one I
- 0:29Speaker 4: would rather be celebrating Christmas and picking games with.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Agreed, This is a model favorite show on the network.
- 0:35Speaker 5: This is the best one. I love it so much.
- 0:37Speaker 5: You guys are the best here and you guys at
- 0:39Speaker 5: home as well.
- 0:40Speaker 3: They're ribbing me for my choice of children.
- 0:43Speaker 2: All had a conversation earlier speaking of all my favorite children.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Here, let's talk about some picks.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I was able to go eleven and five last week
- 0:51Speaker 2: in the Picks, while Greg Rosendal Sydney Freeland both went
- 0:53Speaker 2: ten and six, maintaining my lead and that reluctant extending
- 0:57Speaker 2: your lead, Crown, that's.
- 0:58Speaker 6: A big lead.
- 1:00Speaker 4: This would be his first championship. This is we're getting
- 1:02Speaker 4: close here.
- 1:04Speaker 2: On Yes, I will have to try extra hard to
- 1:07Speaker 2: figure things out, you know, taking between favorite TV shows
- 1:10Speaker 2: and children.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It's always tough to make decision.
- 1:12Speaker 2: It's always tough to decide which game we should talk
- 1:15Speaker 2: about first in the show.
- 1:16Speaker 3: But this week it was easy.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Chicago fans who officially have our attention, CATU.
- 1:22Speaker 7: Play faint, look at the throw, going deep searching for
- 1:25Speaker 7: DJ Moore over the shoulder, catch me touchdowns, hits over
- 1:31Speaker 7: at Soldier Field, the Iceman, come it, the Iceman take it.
- 1:36Speaker 7: Top forty six yard spirals to the end zone to
- 1:41Speaker 7: Dj Moore, twenty two to sixteen.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Bears a while to come back by the Cardiac Bears
- 1:47Speaker 2: last week. Now they've got the Niners Sunday night in
- 1:49Speaker 2: Santa Clair. The number one seed still a possibility for
- 1:53Speaker 2: both teams. So who gets a little closer in that aspect, Grig.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I think the San Francisco forty nine ers do, setting
- 1:58Speaker 4: up the battle with the Seahawks potentially for the one seed,
- 2:01Speaker 4: and it's because of rock Party. Brock Purty, since he
- 2:04Speaker 4: came back from injury, has put up production that matches
- 2:07Speaker 4: any quarterback in the entire NFL. But what I've really
- 2:10Speaker 4: liked out of him is his decision making. Sometimes He's
- 2:14Speaker 4: a guy who has a little too much dip on
- 2:16Speaker 4: his chip. He tries throws that he can't really make,
- 2:20Speaker 4: that his body can't cash. And yet lately I don't
- 2:23Speaker 4: think he's been making those decisions. He's just finding open
- 2:27Speaker 4: receivers because of his play caller, because of the healthy,
- 2:29Speaker 4: skilled position players around and hopefully George Kittle is close
- 2:32Speaker 4: to one hundred percent for this game.
- 2:34Speaker 6: And if you give.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Rock Purdy good pass protection, he is going to dice
- 2:39Speaker 4: you up. This is a mature offense with Trent Williams
- 2:42Speaker 4: playing his best ball, and I think against a Bears
- 2:44Speaker 4: team that does not rush the passer, well, I think
- 2:47Speaker 4: they win. And I think Kyle Shanahan gets a little
- 2:49Speaker 4: closer to Coach of the Year who Well, extra take
- 2:52Speaker 4: there for you.
- 2:53Speaker 8: I like that extra take.
- 2:54Speaker 5: You have six points, I think is your differential. I
- 2:56Speaker 5: have a four point win for the forty nine.
- 2:58Speaker 8: Ers in this one. Let's just talk about.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Christian McCaffrey, and let's just talk about the fact that
- 3:02Speaker 5: not enough people are at least speaking into existence for him.
- 3:06Speaker 8: To be the MVP.
- 3:07Speaker 5: What's the guy gotta do? What's he got to do?
- 3:09Speaker 5: He has the most touches in the league batch like
- 3:12Speaker 5: more than thirty. He's doing on the ground through the year.
- 3:15Speaker 5: It doesn't matter. Why is brock Purty and his chip
- 3:18Speaker 5: dipping ways get to succeed the way they do because
- 3:21Speaker 5: you've got Christian McCaffrey to back clean up for you
- 3:23Speaker 5: or do whatever you need to make it happen.
- 3:26Speaker 8: Defenses all season long.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Have been well aware that Christian McCaffrey is going to
- 3:31Speaker 5: be the focal point of the offense, and look at
- 3:33Speaker 5: his results, you can't stop him. So I'm looking at
- 3:35Speaker 5: Christian McCaffrey and I'm saying, whoever's voting for these things,
- 3:39Speaker 5: don't settle for Comeback Player of the Year, don't even
- 3:42Speaker 5: settle for offensive player.
- 3:43Speaker 8: He should be the MVP. They wouldn't be in this
- 3:46Speaker 8: but for CMC. They wouldn't be in this position.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yes, like many times, the best receiver on the field
- 3:52Speaker 2: for either team a big part of the game. I'm
- 3:55Speaker 2: still taking the Bears, then, Yeah, I'm taking the Bears.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Twenty three to twenty one.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It's very difficult to project turnovers, but these Bears make
- 4:03Speaker 2: them and take the ball away at the highest rate
- 4:04Speaker 2: in the NFL. Jalen Johnson giving up a passer rating
- 4:07Speaker 2: of sixty five. So teams are like, okay, let's throw
- 4:09Speaker 2: over here at this who is this Nashan?
- 4:11Speaker 3: Right, he's wearing number twenty six. They need to stop
- 4:14Speaker 3: doing that.
- 4:15Speaker 8: Right, it's wrong.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yes, right is the wrong option.
- 4:17Speaker 2: He leads to the league in interceptions brought takes risks,
- 4:20Speaker 2: the team invites those risks to be taken. I think they,
- 4:24Speaker 2: of course are going to give up some yards, as
- 4:26Speaker 2: the Bears do, but they get a couple of balls
- 4:29Speaker 2: that they shouldn't perhaps, and they lean on DeAndre Swift
- 4:32Speaker 2: and that explosive run game and get a win and
- 4:35Speaker 2: oddly enough an inside track at the number one overall seed.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Those Chicago Bears. The Bears and Niners could be an
- 4:41Speaker 2: instant classic on Sunday night. The Bears have played a
- 4:43Speaker 2: couple over the last few weeks. We also got some
- 4:46Speaker 2: Saturday games this week, including.
- 4:47Speaker 3: A mega matchup in the AFC.
- 4:50Speaker 2: This Saturday, the playoff Pitcher coming into focus on NFL Network.
- 4:54Speaker 6: CJ.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Stroud and the Houston Texans take on Justin Herbert and
- 4:57Speaker 2: the Chargers. Rich and Kurt will be on the call
- 5:00Speaker 2: with kickoff at four.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Thirty pm Eastern.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Game day kickoffs starts at two pm this Saturday only
- 5:05Speaker 2: on NFL Network. So let's discuss this game a touch
- 5:09Speaker 2: more in the AFC between the Texans and the Chargers.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Both squads have clinch spots in the playoffs. Houston has
- 5:15Speaker 2: won seven straight. Do they go into Sofar and make
- 5:18Speaker 2: it eight in a row?
- 5:19Speaker 8: Sin they go into Sofi. It's very dramatic.
- 5:21Speaker 5: It's Saturday, people are very full, and they're done opening
- 5:25Speaker 5: presence the whole day, and they take over the game.
- 5:28Speaker 8: Twenty one to twenty. A low scoring matchup.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Both defenses very formidable in this one, but I think
- 5:34Speaker 5: it comes down to the duo of Will Anderson Junior
- 5:36Speaker 5: and Daniel Hunter. Why because, as the broken record Cynthia
- 5:40Speaker 5: Frieland says and everyone else, did you know Justin Herbert
- 5:43Speaker 5: has taken the most pressures and quarterback hits of any
- 5:46Speaker 5: quarterback this season?
- 5:48Speaker 8: Oh yeah, we get it. When he's under pressure, he
- 5:50Speaker 8: throws interceptions.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah, okay, But ultimately this is a different kind
- 5:54Speaker 5: of pressure.
- 5:54Speaker 8: It's coming from multiple directions. They don't need to bliss.
- 5:57Speaker 5: They can use their great secondary to back up what
- 5:59Speaker 5: happens upfront.
- 6:00Speaker 8: So I'm looking at this, oh this defensive front and that.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Oh, and I'm thinking advantage Houston in this matchup.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I agree.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I have a Texans win three points twenty two to nineteen.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Because there's teams that have great pass rushers, there's teams
- 6:15Speaker 2: that have great players in the secondary, but there's no
- 6:18Speaker 2: team that melds both of them together quite.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Like the Houston Texans.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I will take Damiko Ryans over Greg Roman in this
- 6:25Speaker 2: matchup every single day, and three times this Saturday night
- 6:28Speaker 2: on the NFL Network. Herbert has thrown nine picks against
- 6:31Speaker 2: zone this season between Stingley and Lasseter and the way
- 6:35Speaker 2: that these guys rush the pass. Because the pressure numbers
- 6:38Speaker 2: show one thing with the Houston Texans, but pressures, especially
- 6:41Speaker 2: on next ten stats are kind of a proximity alert alert.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But when it's Danil Hunter and lill Anderson Junior moving
- 6:46Speaker 2: at the speed they do, their proximity.
- 6:48Speaker 3: A little different than everybody else's. Greg.
- 6:51Speaker 4: I thought this was the toughest game to pick of
- 6:52Speaker 4: the year, especially because a year in the platt Or
- 6:55Speaker 4: of the Week at the very time. Okay, I love
- 6:57Speaker 4: these two teams. I think they can each go to
- 6:59Speaker 4: the super Bowl. But you think about that playoff matchup
- 7:02Speaker 4: a year ago, and you think about how Justin Hurtert
- 7:04Speaker 4: was embarrassed and now he's ready for revenge. The Chargers
- 7:07Speaker 4: win a close, low scoring game twenty to seventeen. We're
- 7:10Speaker 4: gonna just greg it up. On Saturday, NFL Network, Herbert
- 7:15Speaker 4: put him in the MVP voting conversation. He's at least
- 7:18Speaker 4: in my top five, maybe in my top three. And
- 7:21Speaker 4: what was the takeaway from that playoff game a year ago?
- 7:23Speaker 6: Said, Oh, all we.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Got to do We just got to fix this protection
- 7:26Speaker 4: and then we'll be fine.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Everything's caving in on the inside. That's the one thing
- 7:29Speaker 6: we're gonna do. Hey, they didn't fix any of it.
- 7:31Speaker 6: They're worse this year.
- 7:33Speaker 4: And you know who's rising above it all. As much
- 7:35Speaker 4: as I love CJ. Stroud, Justin Herbert is at a
- 7:39Speaker 4: similar level in terms of his talent, but.
- 7:42Speaker 6: He's further along in his maturity, his experience.
- 7:44Speaker 4: He is playing outstanding, he's overcoming his teammate, and he
- 7:48Speaker 4: has a great defense backing him up this year. That's
- 7:50Speaker 4: one difference to Chargers get the victory.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Are the Texans and Chargers jockeying for better playoff seating.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Another team in the mix, the Buffalo Bills, and you
- 7:57Speaker 2: know Josh Allen always ready to cape up.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Has to put on the cape every single week. That's
- 8:07Speaker 3: a lot to put on his shoulders.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Just play the game, don't go into it and feel
- 8:11Speaker 2: like you've got to be Superman, Superman.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Superhuman for his powerful throw on the cape and see
- 8:17Speaker 5: that the work puts out Buffalo Alan looking for.
- 8:21Speaker 7: The end z Oe in how is he not your
- 8:24Speaker 7: MVP in the coat Shamas he can send I.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Mentioned true, he's an alien, isn't he?
- 8:30Speaker 6: Josh Allen is Superman. Nobody contests jumped on his.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Back like he was Superman.
- 8:37Speaker 6: No good snow Glory, double.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Break, Josh Allen does it again.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Superman, Superhuman, most powerful, powerful.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Josh Allen Superman mean some dangerous things for his hometown
- 8:49Speaker 2: of Fireball, California. Everybody's safe there but his bills play
- 8:52Speaker 2: host of the Eagles on Sunday, the matchup Cynthia's preseason
- 8:56Speaker 2: Super Bowl prediction. Wow, it could still happen.
- 8:59Speaker 4: So what happens on Sunday look at a lot better
- 9:01Speaker 4: than my preseason prediction.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Ravens Lion.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I think the Eagles win this game because they've started
- 9:07Speaker 4: to look over the last couple of weeks like they
- 9:09Speaker 4: did late last season because of Saquon Barkley. I just
- 9:13Speaker 4: love what I saw in that game against the Commanders,
- 9:16Speaker 4: especially him breaking tackles, him closing the game out with
- 9:20Speaker 4: some explosive runs.
- 9:23Speaker 6: It was the Saquon we got used to scene for
- 9:26Speaker 6: a while.
- 9:26Speaker 4: If you were looking at the next gen stats after
- 9:29Speaker 4: these games, it's a lot of rush yards under expected,
- 9:32Speaker 4: like a lot of negative last week, way over expected.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I think the line is going to be better because
- 9:39Speaker 4: Lane Johnson expected to return this week.
- 9:42Speaker 6: But maybe it's something about this time of year.
- 9:44Speaker 4: It's when Jalen Hurts plays his best, and it's starting
- 9:47Speaker 4: to look like it's when Saquon Barkley plays his best
- 9:50Speaker 4: like he did late last season.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I am right there with you, Greg, I've got a
- 9:53Speaker 2: big win by the Eagles thirty one to twenty six.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Because even in scenarios where Superman was facing great odds.
- 10:00Speaker 3: There was a need for a Justice League.
- 10:02Speaker 2: You needed the Green Lantern Batman, everybody to be involved.
- 10:06Speaker 2: You look around on the Buffalo Bills, there's not always
- 10:09Speaker 2: anywhere to be found, and he was limited in practice
- 10:12Speaker 2: this week, got X rays at halftime, and then the
- 10:14Speaker 2: Bill's defense has to go out there and contend with
- 10:16Speaker 2: not just say Kwan Barkley, but AJ Brown, who's been
- 10:19Speaker 2: targeted at a very high rate when the opposing team
- 10:22Speaker 2: lines up in single high coverage thirty percent for Jalen
- 10:26Speaker 2: Hurts looking in AJ Brown's direction. He's had over four
- 10:29Speaker 2: hundred yards and two touchdowns against zone coverage since Week nine.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Things have picked up late this season. I think he
- 10:35Speaker 2: gives the Bills secondary problems again in this one.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Well, I guess Bills fans please come help me out
- 10:41Speaker 5: because I'm gonna pick you guys to win. So sorry,
- 10:44Speaker 5: Eagles fans, I'm going prime number here a three point
- 10:47Speaker 5: win for Buffalo at home. So I understand it's very
- 10:50Speaker 5: unlikely that the Bills could get the one seed, but
- 10:53Speaker 5: that could mean that they're playing with a nice level
- 10:55Speaker 5: of ease and fun and looking at their tight ends.
- 10:59Speaker 5: This is where the past catching needs to step up.
- 11:01Speaker 5: With Josh Allen's foot being maybe not one hundred percent,
- 11:04Speaker 5: maybe they're rushing won't be as reliable.
- 11:07Speaker 8: What does Joe Brady do?
- 11:08Speaker 5: He goes into the little you know area of like, hey,
- 11:11Speaker 5: I'd like Josh Allen to do this with his Superman stats.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Let's just throw two our tight ends. Dalton Kinka last
- 11:16Speaker 5: week Fantasy Owners is not so great for them. He
- 11:19Speaker 5: had exactly zero catches on one target. But we've seen
- 11:22Speaker 5: some really fun, dynamic things from all.
- 11:25Speaker 8: Of their tight ends.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Dawson Knox, Jackson Hawes like really fun names too to say,
- 11:29Speaker 5: But ultimately it's that level of the defense that they're
- 11:33Speaker 5: going to try to target. I'm not suggesting that it's
- 11:35Speaker 5: good to pass against the Eagles evens. I'm just saying
- 11:38Speaker 5: that Josh Allen is a kind of one of those
- 11:40Speaker 5: matchup proof people, and the tight ends will be.
- 11:42Speaker 8: The way that he goes up against them.
- 11:45Speaker 3: All right, Well, Sam for Ru's even Good presented by Applebee's.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Is Josh Allen limited to just one hundred and thirty
- 11:50Speaker 2: passing yards last week against the Cleveland Browns? Does he
- 11:53Speaker 2: throw for over or under one ninety five against the Eagles.
- 11:57Speaker 5: We're going over baby. With that hurt foot, there's less
- 12:00Speaker 5: reliance on the run. I'm not suggesting he's not going
- 12:03Speaker 5: to run, but I don't think it's going to be
- 12:04Speaker 5: as no fewer designed rushes per se. But I'm also
- 12:08Speaker 5: looking at trying to target different areas, different levels of
- 12:11Speaker 5: the defense to get quick completions, so it might not
- 12:14Speaker 5: be like some crazy dpass.
- 12:16Speaker 8: I think it's going to be a series of shorter
- 12:19Speaker 8: passes to keep his foot.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Okay, two man rush coming here for this.
- 12:24Speaker 6: Shut his golf guns towards the end.
- 12:25Speaker 8: Zion caught tackled short of the end, Zil.
- 12:28Speaker 9: There is a flag as I'm on ross seat praps,
- 12:32Speaker 9: Oh did they called the whistle? There was a nateral
- 12:35Speaker 9: ruling on the field. Is a touchdown? However halfway three
- 12:39Speaker 9: hunder fourteen on the offense. By rule that penalty is
- 12:46Speaker 9: not enforced and there is no replay. The game is over.
- 12:50Speaker 3: There is no touchdown.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Very clear explanation as we get to seize the season
- 12:54Speaker 2: presented by a Caesar or sportsbook. As we look at
- 12:57Speaker 2: the first touchdown score odds between those Detroit Lions and
- 13:00Speaker 2: the Minnesota Vikings, Jumier Gibbs, I'm on the ros Saint Brown,
- 13:02Speaker 2: David Montgomery leading the way, also with some belief in
- 13:05Speaker 2: Aaron Jones. And then it's back to the Lions again
- 13:08Speaker 2: with Jamis and Williams at plus nine hundred, Detroit almost
- 13:12Speaker 2: eking out that when last week, pending a couple of
- 13:15Speaker 2: offensive pass interference calls. Now they need to win out
- 13:18Speaker 2: and have the Packers lose out for a shot at
- 13:20Speaker 2: the playoffs. They've got the Vikings and Max Brozmer On
- 13:23Speaker 2: Christmas Day, Cynthia, does your team keep hope alive here?
- 13:27Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 13:28Speaker 8: I mean is hope is hopeful?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Lot?
- 13:29Speaker 5: Anyways, I have them winning twenty seven to twenty seven
- 13:32Speaker 5: point win.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Do I love it? Yes? Yes I do.
- 13:37Speaker 8: I don't care. It's still Christmas. I love the Lions.
- 13:39Speaker 8: It's totally fine.
- 13:40Speaker 5: I'm looking at this situation and you know, look, Jared Goff,
- 13:45Speaker 5: we haven't given him enough. He didn't make the Pro Bowl.
- 13:47Speaker 6: That seems ridiculous, not a ridiculous at all. Who you
- 13:50Speaker 6: taking off? You back?
- 13:53Speaker 5: No?
- 13:53Speaker 8: But I don't know, at least I don't know. I
- 13:55Speaker 8: feel like it was a slight.
- 13:56Speaker 5: The man's been playing very well, considering everyone on the
- 13:59Speaker 5: defense has been I don't know, watching from the sidelines
- 14:02Speaker 5: or their hospital.
- 14:03Speaker 8: Rooms, unfortunate.
- 14:03Speaker 6: It's been play great. I do want to put that
- 14:05Speaker 6: on the record.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Yes, he has to pay, but I will I will
- 14:07Speaker 5: say in this one he's gonna look better against the Blitz.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Last week against the Pittsburgh Blitz, we saw something weird.
- 14:12Speaker 5: He was like four for twelve or like thirty three
- 14:14Speaker 5: yards something crazy. That is not normal for him. This
- 14:17Speaker 5: is a guy who usually top two, top three in
- 14:19Speaker 5: the league against the Blitz in almost every single metric.
- 14:21Speaker 8: They're used to the Minnesota Blitz.
- 14:24Speaker 5: So I think it looks very good, and yes, I
- 14:26Speaker 5: still love my lines, even though the only thing worse.
- 14:29Speaker 5: I'm going to tell you, the only thing worse than
- 14:30Speaker 5: watching that play was the fact that my neighbors whatever
- 14:33Speaker 5: they're watching on is ten seconds.
- 14:35Speaker 8: Ahead of me.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Oh, you can imagine party foul.
- 14:39Speaker 8: I I what it was awful. So somebody get me
- 14:42Speaker 8: better Internet for Christmas.
- 14:43Speaker 4: You're mad Jared Goff didn't make the Pro Bowl. Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 4: want Sam Darnold off or something.
- 14:48Speaker 7: I don't.
- 14:48Speaker 8: I just want him on. I'm not trying to take
- 14:50Speaker 8: someone off.
- 14:51Speaker 4: That's how it works when people you know, you got
- 14:53Speaker 4: to take someone off to put someone on. You're just
- 14:55Speaker 4: lucky that Max Brozmer hasn't been starting all year, or
- 14:58Speaker 4: he might have gotten one of those Pro Bowls spots.
- 15:00Speaker 6: It's gonna be a holiday miracle. Max Brosberg covers on
- 15:04Speaker 6: the Big Day.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Look at that seventeen to Justin Jefferson, not a lot
- 15:10Speaker 4: of other big highlights.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Last week screens really.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Doled it up.
- 15:13Speaker 4: We should just be replaying the third and seventeen opposite
- 15:16Speaker 4: hash to JJ. Look, Justin Jefferson made about four or
- 15:20Speaker 4: five plays in that game that only Justin Jefferson can make.
- 15:23Speaker 4: I think Max Brozemer can run the offense, and most
- 15:26Speaker 4: importantly here, and I know I'm talking about Broemer even
- 15:28Speaker 4: though I.
- 15:28Speaker 6: Have the Lions winning. Uh, he's playing a defense which
- 15:31Speaker 6: is that been at the very bottom of the league.
- 15:33Speaker 4: It's a lot of talk about Dan Campbell in the
- 15:35Speaker 4: running game and Jared Goff when the defense has been
- 15:37Speaker 4: really their problem lately.
- 15:39Speaker 5: If your a Lions fan has a problem with Dan
- 15:40Speaker 5: Campbell or anyone in the offense, see me, see me
- 15:43Speaker 5: in my office.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Oh no, oh, something's ready to fight. I am.
- 15:46Speaker 6: I'm liquid rolling off and becaps.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Especially after Greg gives the false choice that's imposed on everybody, Well,
- 15:54Speaker 2: we can't we can't give this person what he deserves,
- 15:56Speaker 2: because then we can't.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Get there's literally a leader on the promo.
- 16:00Speaker 2: It's a choice to facilitate that particular circumstance.
- 16:03Speaker 4: I hate when people are like, oh, you got to
- 16:05Speaker 4: put him on the probo without saying who you're gonna
- 16:06Speaker 4: take off?
- 16:07Speaker 6: There's only three spots we are.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Critique is of something else. We're we're critiquing something else.
- 16:11Speaker 2: My model also indicates the Lions win here because Aiden
- 16:14Speaker 2: Hutchinson and this Lion's titt. Unfortunately, they couldn't close it
- 16:17Speaker 2: out against the Steelers. But Aiden Hutchinson in the fourth
- 16:20Speaker 2: quarter has more pressures than anybody else in the NFL
- 16:24Speaker 2: thirty nine pressures in the fourth quarter, seven more than
- 16:28Speaker 2: any other player. The lines are getting it up and
- 16:31Speaker 2: unfortunately for twenty twenty five NFL League MVP Max Brozmer,
- 16:35Speaker 2: according to NFL Networks Greg Rosenthal in, Hutchinson.
- 16:38Speaker 8: Is gonna make that diff Hope they gets picked up.

- 17:18Speaker 2: by the Wells Fargo Active Cash Credit Card. Let's make
- 17:20Speaker 2: some quick picks for the two other Christmas Day games.
- 17:23Speaker 2: We will start with the Cowboys and Commanders. Dallas was
- 17:27Speaker 2: officially eliminated from playoff contention last week. But they're playing
- 17:30Speaker 2: for pride, Greg, It's Christmas and this is America's team.
- 17:34Speaker 3: What happened?
- 17:34Speaker 6: They're also playing for numbers. You know who made the
- 17:36Speaker 6: Pro Bowl. George Pickens. What a season, what a story.
- 17:39Speaker 4: They put up thirty one points and I think they
- 17:41Speaker 4: entertain the masses with an offensive shootout.
- 17:44Speaker 6: I love Pickens's.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Catches he had last week where there was a late
- 17:48Speaker 4: back shoulder. Look at his late speed here where he
- 17:51Speaker 4: separates right as the ball gets there and makes it
- 17:54Speaker 4: look like it was an easy throw. All along, every
- 17:57Speaker 4: target to George Pickens is entertaining. You never know what's
- 18:00Speaker 4: going to happen. And between him and Ceedee Lamb, I
- 18:03Speaker 4: just think you see a lot of points against a
- 18:05Speaker 4: vulnerable Commanders defense.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Christmas Night, the Broncos and the Chiefs.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Denver had their eleven game wins streaks snapped last week
- 18:12Speaker 2: against Trevor Lawrence and the Jags.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Do they bounce back some field, Yes, they bounced back,
- 18:16Speaker 5: and they bounced back big. They still want a shot
- 18:19Speaker 5: at that number one seed, so that the Super Bowl
- 18:21Speaker 5: would have to go through Denver. So bo Nicks, what
- 18:24Speaker 5: we've seen from him is improve it now. The first
- 18:26Speaker 5: two the first beginning of the end is the first
- 18:28Speaker 5: two go passes looked incredible last week. Then things got
- 18:31Speaker 5: a little bit left. Now we need to see them
- 18:34Speaker 5: get back in rhythm because if this team wants to
- 18:36Speaker 5: have those Super Bowl aspirations that Sean Payton talked about
- 18:39Speaker 5: ahead of the season, then they're going to need to
- 18:40Speaker 5: keep him in rhythm. And I think this is a
- 18:42Speaker 5: good opportunity against the Chiefs team that's you know, this
- 18:45Speaker 5: is not the Chiefs team we're usually used to.
- 18:47Speaker 8: Talking about, but they still have They also have pride,
- 18:49Speaker 8: you know. Pride is that's the thing. So I'm looking
- 18:52Speaker 8: at them and even though it's not the same game
- 18:53Speaker 8: we were thought, it's still be one.
- 18:54Speaker 6: How do they get to eight points? Patcher?
- 18:57Speaker 3: Well, I think I think they're going to go for two.
- 18:59Speaker 3: They get a touchdown, they go for two. It's late.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Andy Reid has a lot of pride about it.
- 19:04Speaker 6: Travis Kelsey octopus in his last game.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Yes ahead, statum, Wow, congratulations. Not a great career.
- 19:12Speaker 6: I know not that pill sare, but it could be.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Probably It's Ravens Packers Saturday night in Lambeau. Baltimore needs
- 19:18Speaker 2: to win out for a shot at the playoffs. Green
- 19:20Speaker 2: Bay trying to hold on to that seventh seed in
- 19:22Speaker 2: the NFC. Both team star quarterbacks questionable?
- 19:25Speaker 3: How's this one go? Considering what we do know right now, Cynthia.
- 19:29Speaker 5: We know that at least Jordan Loves been practicing, same
- 19:32Speaker 5: with Josh Jegob. So that helps me feel better about
- 19:35Speaker 5: my model picking Green Bay to win twenty four to
- 19:37Speaker 5: twenty in this matchup.
- 19:38Speaker 8: But one thing I kind of know is what.
- 19:41Speaker 5: This defense looks like now though Micah Parss isn't there, right,
- 19:44Speaker 5: we saw a change that we have to figure some
- 19:46Speaker 5: things out. Of course, the Bears mount of this massive
- 19:49Speaker 5: comeback last week, what did we see? Well, I think
- 19:52Speaker 5: that they got I mean they're seeing that's a pretty
- 19:54Speaker 5: good guy who's they missed. But ultimately Jeff Hafley will
- 19:57Speaker 5: have some answers. Be they simulated pressures, which is something
- 20:00Speaker 5: we saw a lot of last season. But I do
- 20:01Speaker 5: think that one game adjustment or two game adjustment that
- 20:04Speaker 5: needed to happen. So that now going forward against the Ravens,
- 20:08Speaker 5: and we know Derek Henry is going to run for
- 20:10Speaker 5: hopefully be on the field for more of it if
- 20:13Speaker 5: you're a Ravens fan. But ultimately I think that the
- 20:15Speaker 5: defense will get right in this situation.
- 20:17Speaker 4: The ideal matchup in terms of the quarterbacks would obviously
- 20:21Speaker 4: be Jordan Love versus Lamar Jackson. Yes, but you can
- 20:24Speaker 4: shake up any matchup in terms of the quarterbacks that
- 20:27Speaker 4: you want. And I am still picking the Packers in
- 20:29Speaker 4: this game. I have it twenty seven to twenty three,
- 20:31Speaker 4: but it ends up being Tyler Huntley starting. You know,
- 20:33Speaker 4: I make it over seven and whatever the number is.
- 20:36Speaker 4: It's partly because the Packers are just a more balanced
- 20:39Speaker 4: team overall. I trust their defense, even without Michael Parsons,
- 20:42Speaker 4: to make it difficult, and I trust this guy Emmanuel
- 20:45Speaker 4: Wilson to contribute in the running game. Josh Jacobs is practicing.
- 20:48Speaker 4: It's probably gonna be a one to two punch, but
- 20:50Speaker 4: he is a really good downhill tough runner. Ultimately, I
- 20:54Speaker 4: think the Packers are a Super Bowl contending type of team,
- 20:58Speaker 4: whereas the Ravens have the look of a team that
- 21:01Speaker 4: they're just not going to get it done this season.
- 21:03Speaker 4: And sometimes at the end of a season like that,
- 21:06Speaker 4: it goes sideways in a big way when you're playing
- 21:08Speaker 4: another competitive team. So I like the Packers no matter
- 21:11Speaker 4: what happens at quarterback.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I have also taken the Green Bay Packers here.
- 21:15Speaker 2: The twenty four to nineteen For me, the Ravens up
- 21:17Speaker 2: the four flowest pressure rate in the entire league going
- 21:20Speaker 2: into Week seventeen.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Considering that everything.
- 21:23Speaker 2: This defense has been able to do as good as
- 21:25Speaker 2: the numbers have looked, they had that streak of keeping
- 21:27Speaker 2: teams under twenty points, it was a huge anomaly to
- 21:30Speaker 2: accomplish the things that they have been able to accomplish.
- 21:33Speaker 2: That Drake may kind of exposed that lack of a
- 21:36Speaker 2: pass rush last week. If it is Jordan Love, you know,
- 21:39Speaker 2: more power to the Green Bay Packers in their passing game.
- 21:42Speaker 2: And I think if we were to expect again having
- 21:44Speaker 2: this conversation before we know anything if Lamar was going
- 21:48Speaker 2: to be able to play in this game, and he
- 21:50Speaker 2: probably would have come back in against the New England Patriots.
- 21:55Speaker 2: So perhaps a season an offseason of new beginnings for
- 21:59Speaker 2: the Baltimore Ravens. We go from the Ravens to the
- 22:02Speaker 2: team they're chasing in the AFC North, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Pittsburgh went into Detroit last week and made magic.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Happen for Rodgers back and he's gonna throw right and
- 22:13Speaker 6: deep again.
- 22:14Speaker 8: A lot of contact downfield.
- 22:16Speaker 6: Did Gagwell catch that?
- 22:17Speaker 3: He did? Holy mackerel. He was laying down on the ground.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Soup Pine caught it, picked it up, ran it into
- 22:25Speaker 1: the end zone.
- 22:26Speaker 6: It oh, I think the cat caught it.
- 22:29Speaker 8: It hit his right elbow, bounced up into his body.
- 22:32Speaker 6: He's spun up. This is incredible.
- 22:36Speaker 2: The Steelers held on to be the Lions twenty nine
- 22:38Speaker 2: to twenty four last week. They're in the driver's seat
- 22:40Speaker 2: in the AFC North. They've got a big one with
- 22:42Speaker 2: the Browns on Sunday, but they will not have dk
- 22:44Speaker 2: Metcalf due to his two game suspension that was upheld
- 22:47Speaker 2: in the middle of the week.
- 22:48Speaker 3: So what happens in this clash, Greg.
- 22:49Speaker 6: I think DK's absence hurts them.
- 22:51Speaker 4: It's a man to man defense for the Browns, but
- 22:53Speaker 4: ultimately it's the Steelers defense that keeps the score low.
- 22:56Speaker 4: It's twenty three to thirteen for the Pittsburgh Steelers in
- 22:59Speaker 4: this game because Aaron Rodgers is playing his best ball
- 23:03Speaker 4: of the year.
- 23:04Speaker 6: A pairaphrase a very famous tweet back in the day.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I unfortunately, I think you do have to hand it
- 23:11Speaker 4: to him, you know, yeah, drill getting it done. I'm
- 23:15Speaker 4: not putting Aaron Rodgers at the same you know, level
- 23:17Speaker 4: of a public enemy as what was referred to in
- 23:19Speaker 4: that tweet.
- 23:20Speaker 6: But look at these long passes. It's been a different offense.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Everyone's been killing him for his average depth of target
- 23:27Speaker 4: all season and how quickly he's getting rid of the ball.
- 23:29Speaker 6: If you look at the numbers over.
- 23:30Speaker 4: The last three weeks, they're back way up in terms
- 23:34Speaker 4: of where he's throwing the ball.
- 23:35Speaker 6: They're hitting some third and tens.
- 23:36Speaker 4: They've been more aggressive, he's been more willing to hold
- 23:39Speaker 4: the ball, and I think that's really important as they
- 23:41Speaker 4: go down the stretch.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Run how many times this year has my score been
- 23:46Speaker 5: lower than yours for any anyway. So I have twelve
- 23:49Speaker 5: points for Cleveland, I have twenty for Pittsburgh. A very
- 23:53Speaker 5: low scoring game is what I project. Looking at Jalen
- 23:55Speaker 5: Warren his ability to catch, especially.
- 23:58Speaker 8: Shorter passes you talked about, You've seen the numbers for
- 24:00Speaker 8: Aaron Rodgers. I also believe that they're sitting there being like,
- 24:03Speaker 8: do you really want the.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Miles Garrett highlight of breaking the sack record to be
- 24:06Speaker 5: on you Aaron Rodgers?
- 24:08Speaker 8: Just like the Bills said it last week, I think
- 24:10Speaker 8: Aaron Rodgers is kind of thinking the same thing, like,
- 24:11Speaker 8: please don't have me be the guy in the low light.
- 24:13Speaker 5: I don't want to be on the other the wrong
- 24:15Speaker 5: side of the highlight. He's likes to be on the
- 24:17Speaker 5: right side of highlight. Did you not see his postgame interviews. Yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 5: he likes to let you know. But ultimately I'm looking
- 24:23Speaker 5: at Jalen warrensville in the ability to be so multiple.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Both of these running backs really run game pass game.
- 24:29Speaker 5: That's gonna be a difference maker, especially in time of possession.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Now that poor quinch On Judkins, best wishes for him
- 24:35Speaker 5: a speedy recovery for next season.
- 24:36Speaker 8: He was so fun to watch.
- 24:37Speaker 4: It's gonna make it all the sweeter though, when Miles
- 24:39Speaker 4: Garrett just like rips around their fourth string left tackle
- 24:42Speaker 4: and sacks Aaron Rodgers without him even knowing it's coming.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Because that's how good Miles Garrett is. It's gonna be
- 24:47Speaker 6: a big one.
- 24:47Speaker 8: Well, well, Aaron Rodgers, I had a pretty good game
- 24:49Speaker 8: here ten years ago.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yes, because if there's anything that Aaron Rodgers likes, it's
- 24:54Speaker 2: a titch An opportunity to talk about all things Aaron Rodgers,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and I think to Greg's point, Aaron Rodgers been playing
- 25:00Speaker 2: good football because the rest of the team around him
- 25:02Speaker 2: has been barely going, especially in the second I've got
- 25:04Speaker 2: the Steelers by seven. Going back, let's go to the
- 25:07Speaker 2: last couple of weeks in the second half day to
- 25:09Speaker 2: run a ball, great go back four weeks. The Steelers
- 25:12Speaker 2: are averaging six point two yards per carry in the
- 25:15Speaker 2: second half of these games, and Kenny G is not
- 25:17Speaker 2: just doing it well shout out to Kenny G's Holiday album,
- 25:20Speaker 2: but this is another Kenny G during the holiday season
- 25:23Speaker 2: is going off right now in the run and the
- 25:25Speaker 2: pass game.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Yes, you know.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Unfortunately for Alexandeloni and Lions fancy he made that play,
- 25:30Speaker 2: but all around he's been one of the more consistent
- 25:32Speaker 2: parts of this offense. Yes, like the luxury is DK Metcalf,
- 25:36Speaker 2: but the meat and potatoes is Jalen Warren and Kenny.
- 25:40Speaker 7: G Here comes their best two point play, Darnald throws
- 25:46Speaker 7: cod but the two points Eric sober.
- 25:50Speaker 3: What a game.
- 25:52Speaker 6: What a group, man, What a freaking football team you
- 25:55Speaker 6: guys are. What a football team, man, That's what we do, man.
- 26:03Speaker 2: We see also with that remarkable comeback winning overtime against
- 26:11Speaker 2: the Rams last week at home.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Now they're going across the country to take.
- 26:15Speaker 2: On Carolina in the NFC South, where the Panthers have
- 26:18Speaker 2: the lead in the division. Now, Bryce Young's team has
- 26:21Speaker 2: slayed some giants recently to get out the big accent
- 26:24Speaker 2: chop down the Seahawks.
- 26:26Speaker 6: They do not.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Cinderella Slipper can be put back on next week against
- 26:30Speaker 4: the Bucks and they still win the division.
- 26:31Speaker 6: But the Seahawks are in a different class.
- 26:33Speaker 4: It's because of their head coach, Mike McDonald's I mentioned
- 26:36Speaker 4: Kyle Shanahan as a potential coach of the Year. I
- 26:39Speaker 4: think Week eighteen, Seahawks forty nine ers will not only
- 26:43Speaker 4: decide the one seed and the NFC West, but it
- 26:46Speaker 4: will decide coach of the Year, and my pick right
- 26:48Speaker 4: now would be the guy who took a team that
- 26:50Speaker 4: most people did not have in the playoffs, who's built
- 26:53Speaker 4: up his defense of the number one defense in the
- 26:55Speaker 4: league over the last two seasons, who's made great hires.
- 26:58Speaker 4: They have the best special teams in the league too,
- 27:01Speaker 4: and I think will be the type of team down
- 27:03Speaker 4: the stretch against a team like the Panthers who just
- 27:06Speaker 4: aren't as talented, who outclasses them. They see the finish line,
- 27:09Speaker 4: they'll know how important this game is. And as great
- 27:11Speaker 4: as the Panthers have been, they are limited defensively. I
- 27:14Speaker 4: think the Seahawks put up a lot of points and
- 27:16Speaker 4: win this game comfortably.
- 27:18Speaker 5: I'm with you on all of that, especially so sometimes
- 27:20Speaker 5: I look at Mike McDonald and I realize he's only
- 27:22Speaker 5: thirty eight, but he like already looks like a wise
- 27:24Speaker 5: old man that you would want to be following. Anyways,
- 27:28Speaker 5: my score, I don't remember your margin. I have an
- 27:30Speaker 5: eight point margin. Twenty six to eighteen is mitt years
- 27:33Speaker 5: is a little bit bigger, But ultimately I'm looking at
- 27:36Speaker 5: the run game here. I think as much as we
- 27:38Speaker 5: talk about Sam Donald throwing, which he is great at,
- 27:40Speaker 5: especially when you have Jackson Smith and Jig. But what
- 27:43Speaker 5: they've really done is a foundation of running the football
- 27:45Speaker 5: with Kenneth Walker, who has had a year where he's
- 27:48Speaker 5: really You talk about people looking to get paid Kenneth
- 27:52Speaker 5: Walker anyone. Yeah, that's going to be a nice contract
- 27:54Speaker 5: for him going forward. So I'm looking at slowing the
- 27:57Speaker 5: game down and kind of hitting the Panthers where it
- 27:59Speaker 5: hurts the most, which is in the run game.
- 28:01Speaker 8: And I think Kenneth Walker provides the foundation yet again
- 28:03Speaker 8: so that there's no turnovers, there's no weird stuff, and
- 28:06Speaker 8: I get it going because there's a big one. You
- 28:08Speaker 8: talked about the big one for the Panthers next week.
- 28:09Speaker 8: There is a huge one for the Seahawks next week
- 28:12Speaker 8: against the Niners.
- 28:13Speaker 6: You didn't know this, but there might be a little
- 28:14Speaker 6: more Kenneth Walker later in the show. Oh that's a tease.
- 28:18Speaker 3: That's a deep tease, and in fact deep teas.
- 28:20Speaker 2: The rare potential double trap game for both teams is
- 28:23Speaker 2: maybe the effort questionable for everybody. I nothing fun here
- 28:27Speaker 2: going on. It's unanimous. I've got the Seahawks as well.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Twenty four to nineteen. I would like to look at
- 28:32Speaker 2: a great matchup that we're going to see in the
- 28:34Speaker 2: secondary in this game where JC Horn has a chance
- 28:37Speaker 2: to go up against Jackson Smith and Jigma in all
- 28:40Speaker 2: of the things he's accomplished through the air for the
- 28:42Speaker 2: Seattle Seahawks. Notice one thing about these JC Horn highlights.
- 28:47Speaker 2: None of them were from this game, this most recent
- 28:50Speaker 2: game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Why they threw at
- 28:53Speaker 2: him zero times? He covered Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Zero targets for j C.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Horn.
- 28:59Speaker 8: Wow, seems like a smart strategy. Yeah, don't throw in
- 29:02Speaker 8: his coverage.
- 29:03Speaker 2: We'll see if Sam makes that decision coming up. Looking
- 29:05Speaker 2: forward to this game, it's time for the feel good
- 29:07Speaker 2: story of the Week, presented by Geico Cynthia. Which team's
- 29:09Speaker 2: quarterback more likely to throw two touchdowns in this game?
- 29:12Speaker 3: Is it Sam or Bryce O?
- 29:14Speaker 5: We have big scores for both of them, so I
- 29:15Speaker 5: think both easily could. But I'm looking at Sam Darnold
- 29:18Speaker 5: four two. You saw when the highlights, like you see
- 29:21Speaker 5: AJ Barner the barn Dog, you see him being lifted up.
- 29:24Speaker 8: So of course, Jackson Smith.
- 29:25Speaker 5: And Jigba has a really good opportunity to make it today.
- 29:28Speaker 5: I want to talk about the barn dog here because for.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Me, aj Barner could be How about the barnyard dog. Nope,
- 29:34Speaker 6: just barn dog.
- 29:34Speaker 5: I think it probably is the barnyard dog, but we're
- 29:36Speaker 5: changing it here because I messed it up and we're
- 29:38Speaker 5: just gonna go with that.
- 29:39Speaker 8: The barnyard dog, I don't care.
- 29:40Speaker 6: I like him.
- 29:41Speaker 8: I think he gets in the enzoary dog.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I'm seeing barnstormer, but barn dog works.
- 29:47Speaker 8: I like barn we and dogs.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Barn dogs, se dog shout out to any dogs that
- 29:52Speaker 2: are in any barns within earshot of our voices. Right now,
- 29:56Speaker 2: let's look at the highest totals in week seventeen according
- 29:58Speaker 2: to our friends at Caesar Sportsbook.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Congratulations on the Cincinnati Bengals. Once again, there you are
- 30:04Speaker 3: three points.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Second highest score Bears Niners looking forward to these games.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Let's make some quick picks here on game Dabu Rams
- 30:11Speaker 2: Falcons expecting to be high scoring as well.
- 30:14Speaker 3: They score off Monday night in Atlanta.
- 30:15Speaker 2: S Sean mcvay's team looking to bounce back from last week.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Do they do it in the atl They absolutely do
- 30:21Speaker 4: and usually with the Rams, it's like, let's try to
- 30:23Speaker 4: pick something surprising and new. How about we just talk
- 30:25Speaker 4: about Matthew Stafford. I haven't done that enough this season.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Coming off a ridiculous performance against the Seattle Seahawks.
- 30:32Speaker 6: It is truly stupid that people think QB.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Wins should hurt him in the MVP conversation after that performance.
- 30:40Speaker 4: I mean he had some moments that shot against against
- 30:43Speaker 4: Tapuka Nakua, he had the one in overtime and then
- 30:45Speaker 4: this no look at the start of the fourth quarter.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Obviously the game went sideways, but he knows what Raheem
- 30:51Speaker 4: Morris's defense is.
- 30:53Speaker 6: What kind of want to do. It's gonna blitz a lot.
- 30:55Speaker 4: You can't really outsmart Matthew Stafford and blitz them. I
- 30:58Speaker 4: think he'll find some major problems in the top and secondary.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Let's go elsewhere in that division of the Tampa Bay
- 31:03Speaker 2: Buccaneers and the Dolphins. Tampa's lost six of the last seven.
- 31:07Speaker 2: There must win mode. Do they get that need that
- 31:09Speaker 2: they must get?
- 31:11Speaker 6: They do?
- 31:12Speaker 8: Twenty six to twenty one is the win for Tampa.
- 31:14Speaker 5: I just want to talk Mike Evans for a minute,
- 31:16Speaker 5: because when you're thinking about the things that were different
- 31:19Speaker 5: and what's gotten better and his return has made a
- 31:22Speaker 5: huge difference.
- 31:23Speaker 8: I mean, he's caught a touchdown last week.
- 31:25Speaker 5: I know it wasn't in a win, but you're just
- 31:27Speaker 5: looking at the opportunity on the field to pass and
- 31:29Speaker 5: what Baker Mayfield's contending with, and it just is so
- 31:32Speaker 5: much better when you have Mike Evans.
- 31:34Speaker 8: Plus thing's a little messy maybe in Miami, so I
- 31:37Speaker 8: think they take advantage of this and kind of figure
- 31:40Speaker 8: out a way to get Mike Evans going.
- 31:41Speaker 4: I got a bad feeling about this. I might have
- 31:43Speaker 4: to flip my pick all right in Miami. Wine, I
- 31:46Speaker 4: just got a bad sor bad feelings.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Stay tuned to all your social channels. The Cardinals and
- 31:52Speaker 2: the Bengals in the Natty. Joe Burrow carved up the
- 31:55Speaker 2: Fins last week. I think they win again here with
- 31:58Speaker 2: they score of thirty two to twenty eight, and you.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Know, a high score game as is projected.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But let's talk about this Arizona Cardinals defense. It has
- 32:06Speaker 2: been a rough go down the stretch weeks thirteen, fourteen, fifteen,
- 32:10Speaker 2: and sixteen, the opponent has got seven yards per carry.
- 32:13Speaker 2: They've run for six hundred and three yards six touchdowns.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Pass defense hasn't been great either. I think the Bengals
- 32:19Speaker 2: put a huge number still to come.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Trevor Lawrence and the Jags the hottest team in the league,
- 32:24Speaker 3: so hot right now.
- 32:25Speaker 2: They won sixth straight and a win against the Colts
- 32:28Speaker 2: Sunday would clinch the AFC South.
- 32:30Speaker 3: But old man Rivers might have something to say about that.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Who wins Jagged Colts are thoughts coming up next on
- 32:37Speaker 2: game debut.
- 32:48Speaker 9: Dropping looking close another back from the CTN talking about me,
- 32:52Speaker 9: mass out to the five.
- 32:53Speaker 7: God put it all that touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, a ten
- 32:57Speaker 7: yard touchdown past the tame as ets to Jadge that
- 33:01Speaker 7: extended the.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Lad holse good is that.
- 33:05Speaker 2: It's time for the Reid presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Microsoft Copilot, your AI companion for NFL Game Day and
- 33:11Speaker 2: every day.
- 33:11Speaker 3: The red hot Jags going to Indy.
- 33:13Speaker 2: We ask Copilot which matchup will decide who wins the game?
- 33:16Speaker 2: And Copoland says Jacksonville's passing attack versus.
- 33:19Speaker 3: The Colts banged up secondary.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Indy's d has been shred in the past few weeks,
- 33:23Speaker 2: and Trevor Lawrence is on one of the best stretches
- 33:26Speaker 2: of his entire career. All us humans to discuss this
- 33:30Speaker 2: matchup between those Jags and the Colts. The Jacksonville putting
- 33:34Speaker 2: the league on notice going into Denver getting.
- 33:36Speaker 3: A huge win.
- 33:37Speaker 2: The Philip Rivers experiment has been going fairly well in Indy.
- 33:41Speaker 3: What do you think takes place in here?
- 33:43Speaker 5: I think a close game, but I think that the
- 33:45Speaker 5: Jags win this one twenty six to twenty four. When
- 33:48Speaker 5: I'm looking at Trevor Lawrence, me and Microsoft Copilot agree
- 33:52Speaker 5: that the opportunity to find areas of the defense to
- 33:55Speaker 5: exploit is what's going to matter. But I'm not so
- 33:58Speaker 5: much weird because we could get saft guard in your back.
- 34:00Speaker 5: I'm not really looking at the pass and looking at
- 34:02Speaker 5: the circumstance right now.
- 34:03Speaker 8: There are other pieces.
- 34:04Speaker 5: But I think that Jakobe Myers and I think that
- 34:07Speaker 5: Breton Strange, Yes you heard me, bretton Strange. I think
- 34:09Speaker 5: that all of the different pass catchers they have now
- 34:12Speaker 5: gotten into sync with Trevor Lawrence. So even in harder
- 34:15Speaker 5: to navigate situations like the Broncos defense, they've been connecting
- 34:19Speaker 5: on what i'd call like tougher level of effort passes.
- 34:23Speaker 5: Right you know how gymnastics score like, you know, like
- 34:25Speaker 5: the routine can be harder. They're now doing the more
- 34:27Speaker 5: difficult routines. So I'm looking at this and even though
- 34:30Speaker 5: I think it'd be great to see Sauce Gardner back,
- 34:33Speaker 5: especially if you're a Colts fan, I still think advantage
- 34:35Speaker 5: to what Trevor Lawrence has got going on in this
- 34:37Speaker 5: pass game.
- 34:38Speaker 4: You know who's been hitting some high degree of difficulty throws,
- 34:41Speaker 4: Philip Rivers.
- 34:42Speaker 6: Because you don't know how tough it is.
- 34:44Speaker 4: He doesn't have the arm strength, he doesn't necessarily have
- 34:46Speaker 4: the athleticism. He's doing all with canny timing and rhythmic
- 34:52Speaker 4: line games and smart and accuracy and a funky throwing
- 34:56Speaker 4: motion that's looked the same since he was nineteen years
- 34:59Speaker 4: old playing.
- 35:00Speaker 6: At NC State getting it done. I have a high
- 35:03Speaker 6: scoring game.
- 35:04Speaker 4: If you made the list of reasons why the Colts
- 35:06Speaker 4: did not win on Monday night, Philip Rivers was not
- 35:08Speaker 4: even on it as far as I'm concerned. They were
- 35:10Speaker 4: averaging four and a half points per possession deep into
- 35:13Speaker 4: the fourth quarter, and.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Then it caved in a little bit.
- 35:16Speaker 4: I think I see a similar type of game here
- 35:18Speaker 4: where the Colts defense just can't match up against a
- 35:22Speaker 4: Jaguars team that I believe Patrick Clavon told me was
- 35:25Speaker 4: averaging how.
- 35:26Speaker 6: Many points since the buy was it? Was it thirty three?
- 35:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 35:29Speaker 6: How many points did I give him today? That's Larry
- 35:33Speaker 6: Bird's number.
- 35:33Speaker 8: That's sacred, yes, or maybe you read the research packet.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Either way, Gregan is always in the materials. I am
- 35:41Speaker 2: right there with Cynthia and Gregg. I've got a Jacksonville
- 35:44Speaker 2: Jaguars win. But I do want to say, if you're
- 35:46Speaker 2: able to come back and play football at forty four
- 35:48Speaker 2: years old, you're a significant athlete, as Philip Rivers has
- 35:52Speaker 2: always been.
- 35:52Speaker 3: But let's discuss Monteric Brown.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I don't know what hit you, guys confused with Buster Brown,
- 35:59Speaker 2: the comic character that debuted in nineteen oh two in
- 36:02Speaker 2: the New York Post.
- 36:03Speaker 3: But this is on Tariff Brown.
- 36:05Speaker 2: He occasionally goes by Buster and he got targeted twice
- 36:08Speaker 2: by Bill Knicks last week allowed zero catches. Of course,
- 36:12Speaker 2: best wishes to Pat Bryant, who Brown had a huge
- 36:15Speaker 2: hit on late in that game. But he just made
- 36:18Speaker 2: it so difficult for those Broncos to make plays through
- 36:20Speaker 2: the are. And I just wanted to point out another
- 36:22Speaker 2: good player in that Jags secondary as the Jags pretty
- 36:25Speaker 2: good looking team.
- 36:25Speaker 3: In the AFC, Lawrence and Rivers is able to.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Both be top five picks in the NFL draft at
- 36:30Speaker 2: one point. Let's take a look at the projected draft
- 36:33Speaker 2: order in twenty twenty six. As we've got the Giants, Raiders,
- 36:36Speaker 2: and Browns right there at the top, the Jets and
- 36:40Speaker 2: the Titans. Three wins for the teams at the bottom,
- 36:42Speaker 2: two for the teams at the top or the bottom,
- 36:44Speaker 2: depending on your perspective. The Giants and Raiders facing off
- 36:50Speaker 2: Sunday in a game that has some big implications regarding
- 36:53Speaker 2: the number one overall pick in the draft.
- 36:55Speaker 3: So who wins here and misses out? Because we still
- 36:59Speaker 3: do this draft thing by.
- 37:00Speaker 6: I know you're not a fan of how they ordered
- 37:02Speaker 6: the draft. I think he got something to maybe we.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Get a lottery going at some point, and maybe if
- 37:06Speaker 4: that happened, the Giants wouldn't have landed Abdull Carter, who's
- 37:09Speaker 4: playing well the last few weeks.
- 37:11Speaker 6: He's taking it serious.
- 37:13Speaker 4: And they asked Exter Lawrence after the game, like, as
- 37:17Speaker 4: it shown that he's taken some lessons from it, and
- 37:20Speaker 4: he's like he's got to do it more than one week.
- 37:21Speaker 4: I was like, whoa deck dex Yes, easy on the kid.
- 37:24Speaker 4: He's making a lot of plays. He's got to help
- 37:26Speaker 4: your team out.
- 37:27Speaker 6: You're giving me a ess Greg against the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 37:31Speaker 4: I don't care who's playing them. I'm just Gregan all day,
- 37:34Speaker 4: sight unseen. I don't care if they're playing a high
- 37:36Speaker 4: schools team.
- 37:37Speaker 6: I'm taking them against the Raiders.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Okay, we watched the Giants last week. The Saints and
- 37:41Speaker 3: the Titans.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Tennessee currently projected to have the fifth pick in the draft,
- 37:44Speaker 2: but they've looked a little bit better lately. Who wins
- 37:47Speaker 2: this match up between two of the better rookies at
- 37:50Speaker 2: the quarterback position?
- 37:51Speaker 5: Siddy, have we now from one win over the Titans,
- 37:55Speaker 5: we're now going over the Chiefs. Now you're going to rownagize? No,
- 37:59Speaker 5: it's still the freaking Saints. Tyler Duck, he is sick
- 38:03Speaker 5: of hearing about how him worth so much better than him.
- 38:05Speaker 5: All he's been doing is been deep passing his way
- 38:08Speaker 5: to wins. With Chris Olave. He's done a good job
- 38:11Speaker 5: of navigating a really bad circumstance without being like, hey, guys,
- 38:14Speaker 5: me over here. Everyone said they should have taken other people. No,
- 38:18Speaker 5: Tyler Schuck's looking great, and I think you guys are insane.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we knew that going yet.
- 38:22Speaker 6: I mean, this one's I should have known Patrick.
- 38:25Speaker 4: This was a very Patrick move. He's still riding high
- 38:28Speaker 4: after taking him again to the Chiefs though.
- 38:29Speaker 8: Yeah, you're yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 6: That's a good one.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Well, yeah, things are going great over here in my
- 38:34Speaker 2: favorite situation, the Patriots and the Jets, Ganggreen still looking
- 38:37Speaker 2: for the elusive first interception of the season.
- 38:40Speaker 3: I'm not sure they get it here. I like New
- 38:42Speaker 3: England to win thirty.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Two to sixteen, because, look, it's been a tough go
- 38:49Speaker 2: as we look back at some of the things that
- 38:51Speaker 2: have taken place against this Jets team, where everybody's getting
- 38:55Speaker 2: healthy in any different number of ways, whether they're running
- 38:58Speaker 2: and passing, it's a rough go.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Thirty two to sixteen.
- 39:03Speaker 4: We're being generous the Jets. They have lost the last
- 39:05Speaker 4: three weeks by an average of twenty five.
- 39:07Speaker 8: Look at Greg's score twenty four to six.
- 39:09Speaker 6: Yeah, again, that's generous. That's way closer than they've been
- 39:12Speaker 6: in three weeks.
- 39:13Speaker 2: When we come back, it sound elect Greg have that
- 39:15Speaker 2: freak flag fly because he's hit his player props two
- 39:18Speaker 2: weeks in a row.
- 39:19Speaker 3: One more time and he's on fire.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Boom shocka locka shout out to NBA jam our favorite
- 39:25Speaker 2: props of the week coming up next on Game Debut.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Tom for write this down. That's our gift to you
- 39:38Speaker 3: as well.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Get some prop predictions for Week seventeen that leadoff Greg.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Well, I'm giving out an extra pick, Oh Christmas to
- 39:45Speaker 4: write this downs. It's a theme here. The Rams and
- 39:48Speaker 4: the Seahawks are the two best teams in the entire NFL.
- 39:52Speaker 4: They're both gonna win big and their rushing stars are
- 39:54Speaker 4: gonna have big numbers. So Kyra and Williams for the
- 39:57Speaker 4: Rams in this game goes over sixty three and a
- 40:00Speaker 4: half rushing yard that's against the Falcons, and then Kenneth
- 40:03Speaker 4: Walker the goes over fifty three rushing yards against the Panthers.
- 40:07Speaker 4: I really see scenarios where both these teams needing big
- 40:11Speaker 4: time wins overwhelm their opponents, who, by the way, are
- 40:15Speaker 4: two very poor teams against ground attacks, especially the Arizona Cardinals.
- 40:19Speaker 4: So I feel great about that Walker pick. But Kyrin
- 40:21Speaker 4: Williams he gets it done too.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Two and oh I got to catch up on Patrick
- 40:25Speaker 6: Well Okay.
- 40:26Speaker 8: But ceedee Lamb that have at least six catches against
- 40:30Speaker 8: the Commanders on Christmas. He got snubbed for the Pro Bowl.
- 40:33Speaker 8: That's right, Maybe you should have taken George Trades. I
- 40:36Speaker 8: didn't even care.
- 40:36Speaker 5: I like See Lamb better because I think he is
- 40:38Speaker 5: the one who, to me in this matchup the more
- 40:41Speaker 5: reliable opportunity here for at least six receptions. I also
- 40:45Speaker 5: think there's an epic kind of historical data point here
- 40:48Speaker 5: that he or Justin Jefferson could at the end of
- 40:50Speaker 5: the season. They both have already broken a record from
- 40:53Speaker 5: Jervis Landry for the most receptions of the players.
- 40:55Speaker 3: For six seasons.
- 40:56Speaker 8: Who's going to be at the end of the season,
- 40:58Speaker 8: See Lamb.
- 40:58Speaker 2: That's my pick, yes, because only one, only one can
- 41:01Speaker 2: be good. I folks, you know Christmas, to get new presence,
- 41:04Speaker 2: to get new consoles. Occasionally you need to remember you
- 41:07Speaker 2: gotta get outside.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Running outside is.
- 41:09Speaker 2: What DeAndre Swift excels in in this Bears offense. And
- 41:12Speaker 2: I think they go into Santa Clara and he goes
- 41:15Speaker 2: for over sixty yards against the number twenty five ranked defense.
- 41:19Speaker 3: A defending the outside run.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Ben Johnson knows what he's doing when he's calling the
- 41:23Speaker 2: place he puts the guys in position to be successful,
- 41:26Speaker 2: and I think you can put yourself in a good
- 41:27Speaker 2: position if you take note of the opportunity.
- 41:30Speaker 3: For Deandre's epic Ho ho ho.
- 41:31Speaker 6: That was so like it.
- 41:33Speaker 8: No, No, I didn't like it.
- 41:33Speaker 6: I loved It's a host that can you more.
- 41:35Speaker 2: He can be Oh, thanks for watching game debut for
- 41:39Speaker 2: Cynthia Frielan and Greg Rosental. I'm Patrick claybon on Happy holidays, everybody,
- 41:43Speaker 2: to see you next week.
