- 0:34Speaker 2: That Care's first virtual podcast series, and we are going to talk about Boss Babe Summer.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Leveling Up in Life and Career is the title for this first virtual podcast.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I am Joyce Benning with the Robust Lifestyles Show, and I am so excited to have with me today Anne Klossing and her and I, under this umbrella title, we are going to talk about live life in service.
- 1:06Speaker 2: So with that, anne, would you please do a brief introduction to our listeners today?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Certainly I am so happy to be here.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I had said to Joyce, it's been a few moons since we've gotten together, so I was really excited to be here today.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But I am an author and I've been in a couple of different co authored books and I'm working on my own and I am a channeler and I like to think of myself as a storyteller to the soul.
- 1:37Speaker 3: It's a storyteller, I tell the story of the soul.
- 1:40Speaker 3: So when I work with my clients it's a process called channel clearing and I just do a deep dive with their souls and it's just such a beautiful download and I love what I do.
- 1:52Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm a storyteller to the soul.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Oh, I love that.
- 1:57Speaker 2: A storyteller of the soul, and yes, and Anne puts out the most beautiful newsletters and has some of the most beautiful channelings.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I follow her on Facebook and receive her newsletters and she is one magical woman.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So with that, anne, how would you like to talk about live life in service?
- 2:19Speaker 3: It's been interesting In the overall umbrella title.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I kind of had to chuckle the boss babe.
- 2:25Speaker 3: It's like at 58, it's like, hmm, I'm a babe.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I haven't been referred to as a babe for a long, long time.
- 2:34Speaker 3: So I had to chuckle over that.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Living a life in service and when I decided to quit my full-time job back in 2019, I had visions of finishing my book and that I was just going to do this entrepreneurial path and the book was going to lead me.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And then what happens is I let my ego start driving the bus driving the bus of life and it just was not working.
- 3:05Speaker 3: So my book is called Finding you Is Finding God the interrelationship between thought, universal law, soul agreements and the human experience.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Unless a publisher tells me to change that subtitle, it's what it is right now, but I started writing that book in 2018.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I took a Hay House Writers Workshop and it was the best thing I ever did, and then I was still working at a full service agricultural center.
- 3:37Speaker 3: So if I'm not sure how rural listeners you'll know exactly what I'm talking about, but for the non-rural listener, it is all fertilizer, all chemistry, all seed, and in the springtime, in the middle of Wisconsin, it just, I'm in southwest Wisconsin, but it was early morning and late at night, it was a very demanding job and it was literally eating me up.
- 4:02Speaker 3: So I had made the decision to quit work on my book for a while and then I took a part-time job.
- 4:09Speaker 3: So all the while I was working on the book and then I was introduced to Jack Canfield and I took that was when COVID and everything was going on that was Jack's first Zoom teaching, zoom tutorial and it was so cool, cool and I met so many people and I never had Facebook and I thought Facebook was the devil and um.
- 4:30Speaker 3: But because of that I was forced to create account and now look at me now.
- 4:35Speaker 3: So it's.
- 4:37Speaker 3: This life in service can be quite challenging and sometimes I was in service and sometimes, and most of the time, not in service.
- 4:48Speaker 3: So, just to kind of give you an idea, I did work part-time for our bank as a crop insurance administrator and also as an agent, and I did that through 2023.
- 5:02Speaker 3: And I did that through 2023.
- 5:05Speaker 3: And then the 2024, I've just kind of been, I'll say, floundering, you know, like a fish out of water, but that's how I learned.
- 5:12Speaker 3: You know it's getting out of fear, and when you're in fear and you're afraid to move, you're not in service.
- 5:21Speaker 3: So who are you in service to?
- 5:30Speaker 3: So I'm very spiritual.
- 5:31Speaker 3: That doesn't mean I'm religious.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I had a very formal, dogmatic Baptist upbringing and now I just I love it when people are into the religion and they're not pushy with it but it's their thing.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Great you're, you're doing.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Great.
- 5:48Speaker 3: When it's the other way around and you're looking at push energy and pushing their ideas and pushing their thoughts on, that's where I kind of like, oh, not for me.
- 5:59Speaker 3: So any spirituality is getting to understand you and realizing that there's two of you.
- 6:10Speaker 3: So the two of you.
- 6:13Speaker 3: The person that wakes up in the morning, walks to the bathroom, looks in the mirror.
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's the personality, that's the ego, that is the.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I have a start date and I have an end date, so I'm born and I'm going to die.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Then there's the other you that when you stand in the mirror and you look at yourself right in the eyes and look into the center of your eyes and you tell yourself I love you and I really really love you.
- 6:43Speaker 3: That glimmer in your eye is the second you, the infinite you, and I really really love you.
- 6:47Speaker 3: That glimmer in your eye is the second you, the infinite you.
- 6:49Speaker 3: That is your God source.
- 6:55Speaker 3: So when I talk with people of my generation or older and they're not comfortable about what I do and I start talking about and they're not comfortable about what I do and I start talking about.
- 7:22Speaker 3: You are God.
- 7:23Speaker 3: They retract because they were taught through dogma that God is out there, outside of you and God is in your heart, whether you call it your higher self, your infinite being Louise Hay used to call it her inner ding.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Whatever is, you know, creation itself, life, love, whatever you want to call it, I interchange them all.
- 7:35Speaker 3: But your soul comes from source energy, the creation of all, and therefore you are creation.
- 7:45Speaker 3: So God is a formless substance.
- 7:49Speaker 3: It's formless.
- 7:50Speaker 3: So you come here and you're born and you were chosen.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Every person was chosen, chosen.
- 8:02Speaker 3: How special is that?
- 8:04Speaker 3: How special are you to be that expression of creation?
- 8:08Speaker 3: So when I say in service, were you in service to?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Are you in service to the person that you're seeing in?
- 8:17Speaker 2: the mirror.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Or are you in service to the light inside your eyeballs, the infinite side of you?
- 8:25Speaker 3: And I've learned some hard lessons since the last time I've seen Joyce and I had a interaction and out of all my last five years of being around supportive communities such as Canfield and this was not it but that particular instance was the first time I had someone test my vision.
- 8:51Speaker 3: They questioned it and I felt lacerated and I felt gutted because I was not acting from that light within me and I wounded and went back to the old wounded victim person that I used to be many, many years ago and not that long ago, and that old reaction came through.
- 9:16Speaker 3: But what I realized was that I wasn't in service.
- 9:22Speaker 3: So do I agree with what this person said to me?
- 9:26Speaker 3: The only thing I do agree with that person on is that it was started.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I don't know you very well, so I agree with that.
- 9:34Speaker 3: The rest of it I'm throwing out the window.
- 9:36Speaker 3: But I've taken some things in between and Colette Barron-Reed is a Canadian author and she loves Oracle cards.
- 9:47Speaker 3: She has all kinds of Oracle decks and I had taken a Hay House Writer's Bootcamp just in June and I listened to her speech and I had tears coming out of my eyes, Because if you've ever written a book, even if it's a chapter in a co-authored book, it's being in spirit, Inspiration is in spirit, it's being in service of the book and the book chose you as an author.
- 10:20Speaker 3: If you're an entrepreneur, your business chose you and and it's getting intimate with the life of the book the essence of the book, the essence of your business.
- 10:36Speaker 3: And I even take it farther than that.
- 10:39Speaker 3: And if you're working somewhere and you're working for someone, are you still in service?
- 10:46Speaker 3: That doesn't mean that you're going to bend over backwards for everybody, but are you at your best in service to the one who breathes you as you go about your day?
- 10:59Speaker 3: Or are you looking at all the people around you and seeing what they're not doing and trying to control that?
- 11:09Speaker 3: That is not in service, and trying to control that that is not in service?
- 11:15Speaker 3: In service is knowing what you're here to do and being the best that you can possibly be, and compassionate, with grace.
- 11:26Speaker 3: And I'm at a podium right now and I'm talking to you, and do I still get angry?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, but it's knowing when you can separate the two and age.
- 11:38Speaker 3: To me, maturity helps with that.
- 11:40Speaker 3: You know I I do not want to go back to my 20s, I do not want to go back to my 30s.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Life started getting really good for me at age 50.
- 11:52Speaker 3: And it just every day keeps getting better and better and better.
- 11:55Speaker 3: And what I finally learned at 58 years old is that why wasn't this book that I started back in 2019, thought of it in 2018, had an acupuncturist and a chiropractor going.
- 12:08Speaker 3: You need to tell your story.
- 12:09Speaker 3: You need to tell your story, write a book, write a book, write a book.
- 12:11Speaker 3: And it just kept coming up and I meet people oh, you need to write a book, man, you got to get your story out there.
- 12:17Speaker 3: And then I have an interaction with the ways.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Hey, out of the blue, she comes through minding my own business and I my dear she started her business at age 60.
- 12:43Speaker 3: And at that time that was that interaction happened.
- 12:46Speaker 3: In 2017, I think I'd have to read.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I've got my notes but I was so starstruck because Louise Hay came through and once she was gone, I got my notebook out and started scribbling.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Her message was we need you to write because there's a wave of writers coming.
- 13:05Speaker 3: And I was sitting in a hotel room looking over the Mississippi River.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Lynn had a fire conference that weekend.
- 13:11Speaker 3: He'd left for the morning and I was just sitting there watching the view, watching the river go by, and there was wakes on the water.
- 13:19Speaker 3: It's a large span and it was windy that day.
- 13:23Speaker 3: And she said, like the waves on the water, there is a wave of writers coming.
- 13:27Speaker 3: We need you to write.
- 13:28Speaker 3: So that was the call.
- 13:33Speaker 3: That was the call, and just not being in service to that book is why it's taken me this long to finish it.
- 13:43Speaker 3: So take me to June 2025, and I'm listening to Colette Barron-Reed about being in service and these questions, these beautiful questions that she gave us.
- 13:57Speaker 3: So my book.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I had to ask question who are you?
- 14:00Speaker 3: And then let it come through who are you serving?
- 14:06Speaker 3: And let that come through.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Well, I took major notes and I've shared them with so many people.
- 14:12Speaker 3: So if anybody wants them, just get in touch with me.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I'd be happy to give them to you.
- 14:16Speaker 3: But it's the same questions that you can use for anything in life, and I've taken it.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I've written my business channel clearing.
- 14:26Speaker 3: That's a channel clearing platform.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I've got several things under that and the answers that I've gotten back that were given to me through spirit.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I read them just about every day and every time that I go to my book I do read that page in my journal to get my head actually move out of my head and into my heart, which is something you've heard me preach on before, which is moving from your thinking brain down your heart space, because that's where it all resides yes, oh, I agree a hundred percent, because a lot of what you were saying I mean to me it, it's going to your heart.
- 15:12Speaker 2: even when you look in that mirror and, like you said, you see the ego sees.
- 15:18Speaker 2: If your hair's in place or if you're, everything looks just so for you to go out and face your day.
- 15:27Speaker 2: The heart is saying you're beautiful just the way you are and I love you.
- 15:32Speaker 2: And now go out in the world and share your light, rather than worrying about everything else that us humans tend to worry about.
- 15:43Speaker 2: And that just came to my mind when you said that about looking in the mirror.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I think it's a challenge for women.
- 15:54Speaker 3: So for the babes I think it's a challenge especially.
- 15:59Speaker 3: It doesn't matter what age or you know what your upbringing is, and I visited with a lovely lady yesterday who had was raised by a narcissistic mother.
- 16:09Speaker 3: I can't even put myself in her shoes.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah that because I adore my mother, I have a fantastic relationship with my mother and I can't imagine being belittled and mentally abused like that.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 3: And my only relation that I have to it was my second marriage.
- 16:31Speaker 3: He had narcissistic tendencies, so it's like, oh, that is just gut-wrenching as a child Because you don't have any other knowledge.
- 16:42Speaker 3: No, that's your environment, right?
- 16:45Speaker 3: So you have nothing to compare it to and that becomes normal.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, beautiful writer she is.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I can't wait till her book comes out, just a beautiful.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Well, I just love how you were motivated by all this to to basically level up in your life and career, to start getting back into your heart and writing this book.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And I love what you said about inspiration.
- 17:12Speaker 2: It's in spirit right and that's exactly what it sounds like you have been.
- 17:17Speaker 2: You've been inspired and your inspiration has come out to be able to go back to writing this book.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And, like you said on, the channeling came to you and that you needed to write.
- 17:32Speaker 2: And to me that is so touching because it's just an affirmation that you know you're doing what the universe, god, angels, what they want you to be doing in this life to share your life with others.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and not everyone is meant to write a book, no, but there's a lot of people that desire is like it's over 80 percent.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Yeah, isn't that amazing.
- 18:01Speaker 3: That is the desire to tell and share your story.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Right to tell and share your story, and it's brave to do so.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Yeah, especially when you come from challenging situations and the abuse too, there's just so many people you can come encapsulated and be in your own victimhood.
- 18:23Speaker 3: But then when you start listening to other people and it's not about comparison, but it does give you some perception on, ooh, I had it much easier than her that's when you can open a corner of your mind to a little grace and compassion for yourself and also grace and compassion for the perpetrator.
- 18:42Speaker 3: So it takes a long time to get there.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Well, it doesn't, but for for most of it and I'll speak for us I'll say me, it took me a long time to get to that place of looking at my grandfather's picture not wanting to vomit all over it, you know and for people that don't know, my back history with that I was fondled by my maternal grandfather when I was like three, four, five years old, four, five years old.
- 19:13Speaker 3: So that hangs with you.
- 19:15Speaker 3: And as you have trauma like that and I thought the day that that man would die I would feel better, I did not.
- 19:27Speaker 3: His death brought me nothing.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It brought no closure.
- 19:31Speaker 3: It brought nothing other than I never had a chance to tell him why.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Why would you do that.
- 19:39Speaker 3: That's awful.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 19:41Speaker 3: So in the meantime, all those years, our egocentric mind, that personality, keeps making all these stories up and we keep believing that, or I kept believing them.
- 19:51Speaker 3: So strike, we put Anne.
- 19:54Speaker 3: So it's very interesting.
- 19:58Speaker 3: But back to the inspiration.
- 19:59Speaker 3: So I'm looking at my notes.
- 20:01Speaker 3: See how excited I am about this.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Yes, looking at my notes from Colette Baron-Reed, she described inspiration versus motivation.
- 20:09Speaker 3: So inspiration is that in spirit, you're in spirit, you're in tune, you're in flow.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Motivation you're motivated because you're going to get something, there's an outcome that you want.
- 20:21Speaker 3: And she said there, you can drift off target when you're on motivation versus in spirit, in flow.
- 20:29Speaker 3: And it says if you forget spirit, you will get stuck.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
- 20:38Speaker 3: And it says if you forget spirit, you will get stuck, yes, yes.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And as soon as she said that, that's when the tears just started rolling down my face.
- 20:41Speaker 3: It's like, oh my god, I have not been in spirit with my book.
- 20:46Speaker 3: And when she was done I was so eager to get to her exercise and ask those questions.
- 20:51Speaker 3: You know who are you, who do you want to?
- 20:54Speaker 3: What is your message to the world?
- 20:56Speaker 3: And she had a few more of them.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I've got them scattered throughout, but it was just.
- 21:01Speaker 3: I just came and come back to that and I would all through my healing transition when I really started diving into me and spirit and metaphysical, and what is and who am I, and I'm broken and I'm not broken and oh yeah, I'm broken, and this thing going back and forth like a pendulum.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I got a set of several oracle cards and I kept getting the in-service card and it, it, it's like okay, I get it, but he didn't get it.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and you keep getting those same cards periodically.
- 21:41Speaker 3: This is you're not there, gently Spirit never, nags, no, they can be firm, and it's not.
- 21:53Speaker 3: It's the information that you're ready to hear, but you don't want to hear it.
- 22:00Speaker 3: So, as soon as it comes out, it's not harsh, it's always loving, always loving, but it's when you hear it you're like, oh man, they're so right, so right, and it's not right and wrong.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's just ready, so ready, so ready to address what they just gave you.
- 22:23Speaker 3: You're so ready.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Oh, oh, that, yes, that is, that is so true.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And and like you said, really the spirit comes firmly but softly.
- 22:35Speaker 2: They're not going to be the ones over here screaming and yelling that this is what you need to do.
- 22:40Speaker 2: They're that soft voice and like through the oracle cards.
- 22:44Speaker 2: If our listeners have not experienced oracle cards, they are amazing.
- 22:52Speaker 2: I have a hard time saying that word.
- 22:54Speaker 2: To me, they're more of a universe angel spirits talking to you is what I feel they are, because every time I pull the cards, it's exactly what I need to hear, and it is just amazing how it wraps itself.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Your whole day wraps into that and it's so true to what you're dealing with on a daily basis and there's like millions, there's, there's thousands of decks that you, oh, yes, use from.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yes, and what I always advise people is to, if you're going to buy them online, then look at the cover, look at the artistry, that, and how do you feel with it?
- 23:35Speaker 3: Yes, because there's nothing worse than picking up a deck of cards and going, oh, this is not for me, right, right, but I have.
- 23:44Speaker 3: One of my decks is Kyle Gray, angel prayers and I.
- 23:48Speaker 3: That's the deck I've been using a lot lately and I have some of Doreen virtuesue's.
- 23:53Speaker 3: But Doreen Virtue took another path and anything she had the rights to you cannot get.
- 23:59Speaker 3: But there are a few card decks that you can get through Hay House, because she published those cards through Hay House, and I have her Archangel Michael deck, archangel Raphael.
- 24:08Speaker 3: There's so many good decks out there and I've got friends that have Oracle card decks that are awesome and it just eventually, that is on my way out way out list I might just, but I have a data marketing specialist and Jackie takes care of my um weekly newsletter.
- 24:31Speaker 3: She sets up my website and then, when things get going, then we'll really start to funnel more into that.
- 24:37Speaker 3: But I think she would really love to put together.
- 24:40Speaker 3: So if Jackie ever listened to this, I'll just let her run with it here, because I have so much stuff out there that you can take snippets and snippets and snippets and that's the kind of stuff it's like I'd get into the artistry.
- 24:53Speaker 3: But to sift through my old stuff, that's really good that I say it's really good Cause it's it's channeled, it's not me, I'm just the radio playing their music and some of it's just so good and it's like I don't want to take time to do that.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Well, as we're coming to a close of this show, which has gone so quickly, you have so much knowledge to share with our listeners.
- 25:22Speaker 2: What is maybe just some final words you would like to tell our listeners in wrapping up this on live life in service this on live life in service.
- 25:37Speaker 3: If you are an entrepreneur and you feel stuck or bored, then I would recommend going back and asking those questions to your business Am I serving you well?
- 25:51Speaker 3: And then just let it come through and don't be embarrassed or ashamed by what comes through, because they're very honest and, like I said, it's in a gentle way.
- 26:05Speaker 3: It's never you're not doing this.
- 26:07Speaker 3: It never comes out like that at all and if it does, that's your ego talking.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Then you're not getting the information.
- 26:14Speaker 3: So if there's shoulds or needs or anything like that, that's your ego coming through.
- 26:21Speaker 3: So if you're that business person who's stuck, then go inward and how may I be of service?
- 26:29Speaker 3: Because maybe that business and that business will tell you if it's time to end.
- 26:34Speaker 3: It will tell you that and maybe you're going off in a new direction.
- 26:40Speaker 3: If you are someone who is dabbling with something and it feels like this burning desire, you know this, something keeps calling you.
- 26:51Speaker 3: So, mind you, I had the call to write the book way back in 2017.
- 26:56Speaker 3: And we're in 2025.
- 26:58Speaker 3: That is something that doesn't go away and it will wake you up in the middle of the night.
- 27:05Speaker 3: It will wake you up in the middle of the night.
- 27:10Speaker 3: So what is that special something within you?
- 27:14Speaker 3: Are you opening a daycare?
- 27:16Speaker 3: Are you opening a daycare?
- 27:17Speaker 3: Are you opening a nonprofit?
- 27:20Speaker 3: Are you being the best mom you've ever been?
- 27:24Speaker 3: That's the call.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Your purpose will be constant.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Your vocations may revolve around that.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Did that make sense?
- 27:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 27:40Speaker 3: So your purpose, when you're ready, will be given to you and your vocations will revolve around that.
