- 0:33Speaker 2: Hey, good afternoon, and welcome to another episode of Wellness Uncensored.
- 0:38Speaker 2: My name's Patty g I am going to be your
- 0:40Speaker 2: host here today. I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Long story past.
- 0:45Speaker 2: What brought us here to Wellness Uncensored nearly three almost
- 0:50Speaker 2: three years ago was surviving the pandemic, should I say
- 0:54Speaker 2: the plandemic and some of the murderous hospital homicides that
- 0:58Speaker 2: took place during my time. I'm in executive leadership, and
- 1:02Speaker 2: today's show is not going to be for the faint
- 1:05Speaker 2: of heart. In what we've shared in the past three years,
- 1:09Speaker 2: and I've shared with all of you in my book
- 1:11Speaker 2: They call Me Harriet. It's a book that you can
- 1:14Speaker 2: get on my website. You can get it on Amazon
- 1:16Speaker 2: as well. I called it they call me Harriet because
- 1:21Speaker 2: I felt like I was working like Harriet Tubman in
- 1:25Speaker 2: the underground, trying to help people, trying to save lives,
- 1:29Speaker 2: trying to get the word out to people about what
- 1:32Speaker 2: was going on right underneath their eyes in hospitals with
- 1:38Speaker 2: doctors and nurses and administrators, and no one seemed to
- 1:42Speaker 2: even blink an eye. So I encourage you all, if
- 1:45Speaker 2: you want to hear more to the story from today
- 1:47Speaker 2: as well as much more, grab a copy of that book.
- 1:50Speaker 2: They call me, Harriet. We've got a phenomenal guest on today.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And like I said, it's not for the faint of heart.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Myself being a survivor of the remdesivir drug. God only
- 2:02Speaker 2: knows how I survived it, and many that were in
- 2:06Speaker 2: the hospital weren't so fortunate. And those that chose not
- 2:10Speaker 2: to get desevere or chose not to get the vaccine
- 2:15Speaker 2: were also treated horribly mistreated. And as Tammy's about to
- 2:21Speaker 2: share the story of her sister, sorry with her sister,
- 2:26Speaker 2: she really succumbed to a tragedy. And so these stories
- 2:30Speaker 2: are important, especially now of all times, with what we
- 2:32Speaker 2: have going on in the world. We really want folks
- 2:35Speaker 2: to face the music and wake up and realize things
- 2:38Speaker 2: are not always as they appear. The superficial story is
- 2:40Speaker 2: not necessarily the narrative. So let's bring Tammy up. I
- 2:44Speaker 2: want to welcome you, Tammy. I know this is a
- 2:46Speaker 2: really tough story to share, but I think the world
- 2:49Speaker 2: needs to hear it. And that's really the essence of
- 2:52Speaker 2: what brought Wellness Uncensored out was because I was being
- 2:55Speaker 2: censored and I was being limited with what I could do.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I walked away from hospital leadership and I brought a
- 3:01Speaker 2: career back as a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I knew
- 3:04Speaker 2: there were going to be a lot of people damaged.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I knew there are a lot of people that were
- 3:07Speaker 2: going to have to survive people's murderous deaths. And for
- 3:10Speaker 2: that aftermath and all the craziness that they did with us,
- 3:13Speaker 2: with the ssyops of masking and everything else. It's been
- 3:17Speaker 2: quite a busy three years for me in this type
- 3:19Speaker 2: of a role. So welcome. Tell us a little bit
- 3:22Speaker 2: about you, and you can just roll into wherever you want.
- 3:27Speaker 3: To start with telling us about your wonderful sister.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Okay, I appreciate that. A little bit about me. I'm
- 3:35Speaker 4: a My sister and I were preachers kids, We grew
- 3:39Speaker 4: up in church. We were the very best of friends.
- 3:42Speaker 4: It's just me and her. My dad passed away seven
- 3:47Speaker 4: years ago in April. So her and I dealt a lot,
- 3:51Speaker 4: you know, with that together, the grief through that about
- 3:54Speaker 4: me though well I hadn't really wanted, I hadn't expected
- 3:57Speaker 4: to talk about me.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's good to know a little bit about your like
- 4:01Speaker 2: the rest of us, right, which is average people, and
- 4:03Speaker 2: nobody ever knows our story.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Absolutely no. I help worship song leader at a small church.
- 4:10Speaker 4: My husband is a lay preacher there every other week,
- 4:13Speaker 4: and then I work full time helping folks with disabilities
- 4:17Speaker 4: find employment. I also am raising two of my grandchildren,
- 4:21Speaker 4: one is nine and one is seventeen. So I am busy, busy,
- 4:26Speaker 4: busy lady. But I love it because you know, I
- 4:28Speaker 4: think it keeps me young and keeps me moving and
- 4:30Speaker 4: keeps me going.
- 4:31Speaker 3: So I enjoy it. I love it well. And so
- 4:34Speaker 3: you're a woman of faith.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Faith obviously, that faith, I believe is what maybe helped
- 4:40Speaker 2: to get you through some of this. But tell us,
- 4:42Speaker 2: tell us the story. Tell us about Tammy, I tell
- 4:44Speaker 2: us about your sister.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Sure, no, Tammy and Sandy. You know, actually my mom
- 4:48Speaker 4: Sandy to rhyme sort of with Tammy. So that should
- 4:51Speaker 4: tell you everything you need to know. So we were just
- 4:53Speaker 4: like mirrors of each other. So it started in the
- 4:57Speaker 4: fall of twenty twenty one. I went down to see
- 5:00Speaker 4: my sister. She was living in a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee.
- 5:04Speaker 4: She lived right across the border in Mississippi. There was
- 5:08Speaker 4: a it was like a camp that was going on
- 5:11Speaker 4: for three days, Pipeleship camp. She invited me, she actually
- 5:14Speaker 4: paid for it, wanted to visit with me, wanted me
- 5:16Speaker 4: to experience it. We went down there together, or I
- 5:19Speaker 4: met her there. I'll shorten the story. She developed COVID.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, So she developed COVID, and the only
- 5:28Speaker 4: reason they knew that was because she was having really
- 5:30Speaker 4: hard time breathing. She was very, very much out of breath.
- 5:33Speaker 4: So they did a test, which is a whole other
- 5:35Speaker 4: story about the testing system, as we know, but they
- 5:38Speaker 4: said she had it. She went home. I called her
- 5:43Speaker 4: when the camp was over, because it was a day
- 5:44Speaker 4: early then camp was supposed to let out. I called her.
- 5:47Speaker 4: She said, you know, I'm not feeling best. I don't
- 5:49Speaker 4: want you to come over and see me before you
- 5:51Speaker 4: leave town, so I'll just call you. So this was
- 5:54Speaker 4: just like three days before she went into the hospital,
- 5:57Speaker 4: which was October sixth she did go into the hospital.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Then she had called the ambulance because she was having
- 6:03Speaker 4: such a hard time breathing. They came out checked her.
- 6:06Speaker 4: They told her they didn't want her to go into
- 6:08Speaker 4: the hospital because they felt like her breathing was not
- 6:12Speaker 4: to the level of wanting to admit her, so they left.
- 6:16Speaker 4: She called about four hours later, they came back. She
- 6:19Speaker 4: wanted to go because she was just miserable. She's had
- 6:22Speaker 4: asthma all her life. They took her to the hospital.
- 6:25Speaker 4: So when she got to the hospital, of course she
- 6:29Speaker 4: was completely isolated. Nobody could come in to see her. Her
- 6:32Speaker 4: husband couldn't go with her. She had a nine year
- 6:34Speaker 4: old daughter, she of course couldn't go. She ended up
- 6:37Speaker 4: being there for let's see, she ended up going into
- 6:42Speaker 4: rehab so eleven nineteen, So she was there six weeks
- 6:45Speaker 4: and for the first three and a half weeks she
- 6:48Speaker 4: was by herself, like no one could go see her. Finally,
- 6:51Speaker 4: after her COVID was I guess touch that they could
- 6:55Speaker 4: come in or it was gone, but they let her
- 6:58Speaker 4: husband come in and visit one one person could come visit.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Her daughter still couldn't come because no children were allowed
- 7:04Speaker 4: in there, but no one was there to advocate for her.
- 7:08Speaker 4: She had no one. She could still text a few times,
- 7:10Speaker 4: and she did text me a number of times the
- 7:12Speaker 4: first three weeks that she was there. She did text
- 7:16Speaker 4: me and told me that that doctor had come in
- 7:20Speaker 4: and asked her if they could give her rim deesevir,
- 7:23Speaker 4: and she said, absolutely not. I do not want room DESERVERR.
- 7:26Speaker 4: She even knew at that time some of the things
- 7:29Speaker 4: that were out about, you know, the medications and some
- 7:32Speaker 4: of the protocols, not everything. She was not as aware
- 7:34Speaker 4: of as much stuff as I had learned, and I
- 7:36Speaker 4: didn't think to share it with her because I never
- 7:38Speaker 4: knew she was going to be in this position. She
- 7:40Speaker 4: knew a little bit enough to know that, and so
- 7:42Speaker 4: the doctor told her, well, if you don't want to
- 7:45Speaker 4: take this, then I guess you want to die. Well,
- 7:47Speaker 4: she absolutely was horrified and was texting me. And I
- 7:52Speaker 4: don't remember if she couldn't call because of the way
- 7:55Speaker 4: the system was, the calls weren't going out, but she
- 7:56Speaker 4: could text, and she was just over whelmed with that.
- 8:00Speaker 4: I texted her back and said, you need to ask
- 8:02Speaker 4: them to give you avermectin they you know, and or
- 8:05Speaker 4: she did, and of course they said, we're not allowed
- 8:08Speaker 4: to give it to you. That's not what we're the
- 8:10Speaker 4: government or the rules or not. We can't get that
- 8:13Speaker 4: protocol exactly. So she was not given that. They of
- 8:16Speaker 4: course they never even mentioned that. Was it monoclonial I
- 8:20Speaker 4: don't know how.
- 8:20Speaker 2: To say that anybody, or convalescent plasma. They didn't give
- 8:24Speaker 2: her any of that.
- 8:25Speaker 4: No, they didn't even offer that to her. So she
- 8:28Speaker 4: was on oxygen and I had a I have a picture,
- 8:31Speaker 4: might see the one where she's on the oxygen.
- 8:34Speaker 3: That you could see.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I don't know if Rebel put she did have a
- 8:36Speaker 2: picture up why we were talking, but go ahead, oh.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah, you know right, that's it. Yeah, no, she had
- 8:41Speaker 4: so that was like not the full face mask, but
- 8:44Speaker 4: she was on that. And and even though she was
- 8:46Speaker 4: on that, they weren't letting her eat, which I never understood,
- 8:50Speaker 4: while they were keeping food from her and stuff. So
- 8:54Speaker 4: she was she was able to eat a little bit
- 8:56Speaker 4: of jello and some water and that was all that
- 8:58Speaker 4: she had. And that was literally the food that she
- 9:01Speaker 4: had from October the sixth until she went into rehab
- 9:05Speaker 4: on November the nineteenth, which is what is that about
- 9:09Speaker 4: six that's about six weeks. Yeah, so yeah, and and
- 9:15Speaker 4: her they you know, they kept her on the oxygen
- 9:16Speaker 4: the whole time, which was uncomfortable, but it was that
- 9:19Speaker 4: that one. I guess that's the low flow it's not
- 9:21Speaker 4: the high flow mask. Yeah, she had that later, but
- 9:24Speaker 4: I don't have a picture with her that on. So
- 9:27Speaker 4: she had gotten to where they thought she could go
- 9:29Speaker 4: into rehab. They thought, you know, she's at least stable there.
- 9:33Speaker 4: She has lame a kiss. Yeah, so she so they
- 9:37Speaker 4: she was there, she was stable enough where they thought
- 9:40Speaker 4: she could go to rehab. Well, once she went to rehab,
- 9:43Speaker 4: that's when everything turned dark, evil, just the worst possible scenarios.
- 9:50Speaker 4: So she gets to the rehab, which was at Regional
- 9:53Speaker 4: one in Memphis. She gets there, they said that she
- 9:57Speaker 4: had had a terrible setback from just the jostling of
- 10:01Speaker 4: her being moved from one hospital to another. She was
- 10:05Speaker 4: again gone down to only water and ice for another
- 10:10Speaker 4: two and a half weeks after she got there. But
- 10:11Speaker 4: now this time, mind you, now she she was overweight,
- 10:14Speaker 4: she was trying to lose weight, but at this point
- 10:16Speaker 4: she's lost seventy five pounds in just river six weeks.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Uh huh. Because that because they weren't giving me starved her. Yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 4: they did. I can't even I just I can't imagine that.
- 10:29Speaker 4: So let me see so. So at this point though,
- 10:33Speaker 4: they put her on the high flow mask, So now
- 10:35Speaker 4: she's got a face mask on, which took away her
- 10:39Speaker 4: ability to communicate. Her speech was impaired because of that,
- 10:43Speaker 4: the forced oxygen in her interface. So I got there
- 10:47Speaker 4: Thanksgiving weekend because I lived six seven hours away in Louisville.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Once I found out that she was going to go
- 10:53Speaker 4: to rehab, well my mind was, well, she's getting better,
- 10:56Speaker 4: so I'll see her at Thanksgiving. Right, I'm thinking she's
- 11:00Speaker 4: going to rehab. She'll be better by Thanksgiving, because, like
- 11:04Speaker 4: I said, she went to rehab eleven nineteen, so I'm
- 11:06Speaker 4: thinking when I get there, she's going to be ready
- 11:08Speaker 4: to go home. Well, we went there to visit her,
- 11:10Speaker 4: and I was absolutely not prepared for what I saw.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I was absolutely not prepared at all. When me and
- 11:18Speaker 4: my mom walked in, she had the high flow mask on.
- 11:21Speaker 4: We couldn't understand what she was saying. Her hands were tied,
- 11:25Speaker 4: she was strapped to the bed. I did not know
- 11:29Speaker 4: that her husband and her daughter, who was twenty six
- 11:33Speaker 4: at the time. They didn't forewarn me about her being
- 11:37Speaker 4: strapped down. It was she was in agony. So while
- 11:41Speaker 4: we were there visiting, she would try to move it enough. Well,
- 11:44Speaker 4: we took her hands out while we were there because
- 11:46Speaker 4: we were holding and she was trying to talk, and
- 11:49Speaker 4: she would pull it out a little bit and just
- 11:50Speaker 4: try to speak.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Well.
- 11:51Speaker 4: She had had such that forced oxygen, which was the
- 11:55Speaker 4: pressure was incredible because she kept saying, the oxygen's too strong.
- 11:59Speaker 4: It hurts. I can't stand it. My numbers are good.
- 12:02Speaker 4: And she would turn and point to her all the
- 12:04Speaker 4: machinery and she'd be like, my numbers are good, they're up,
- 12:07Speaker 4: and they were up. And they let her take the
- 12:10Speaker 4: mask off long enough and then gave her one that
- 12:12Speaker 4: she could hold and pull back and forth so she
- 12:13Speaker 4: could talk to us while we were there visiting, and
- 12:16Speaker 4: she told me that not to trust the respiratory therapist.
- 12:21Speaker 4: She said, Pam, I don't trust the respiratory therapists. I
- 12:24Speaker 4: think they're messing with my numbers. I think something's really wrong.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I don't trust them. Please go watch him well, I
- 12:29Speaker 4: don't know what I'm looking for. I go back and
- 12:31Speaker 4: stand behind the guy that's over messing with the computers,
- 12:34Speaker 4: and I'm just standing there like I want to help,
- 12:36Speaker 4: but I don't know what to do. Uh my mom?
- 12:38Speaker 4: And I called for the nurses many times to ask
- 12:40Speaker 4: them why she had to be strapped down, why were
- 12:43Speaker 4: they putting so much flow was so high and forceful?
- 12:46Speaker 2: And what did they say about that? About the tying
- 12:49Speaker 2: her down? Because if you've got somebody on restraints, you
- 12:51Speaker 2: have to check them every fifteen minutes. In document, Oh no,
- 12:56Speaker 2: are only supposed to be used if they're not able
- 12:59Speaker 2: to to be oriented to time and place because they're
- 13:04Speaker 2: afraid they're going to pull it something. But even then
- 13:06Speaker 2: they try to just tie at least restrictive one.
- 13:09Speaker 3: What happened? What did they tell you? Why was she restrained?
- 13:12Speaker 4: They never answered our question about restraint. And they told
- 13:15Speaker 4: us that if we were continually going to ask questions
- 13:19Speaker 4: and continually to be what they thought as combative, because
- 13:22Speaker 4: we were asking questions and no fist raised, no voices
- 13:25Speaker 4: even raised. We were just continually saying, could we get
- 13:28Speaker 4: someone in here to answer some question for us? And
- 13:30Speaker 4: we would walk out in the hallway, could we get
- 13:33Speaker 4: a nurse over here? We have some questions because we
- 13:35Speaker 4: were doing that every fifteen or twenty minutes. They told
- 13:37Speaker 4: us we were compative, and we asked leave if we
- 13:39Speaker 4: kept it up. And we never had to answer as
- 13:42Speaker 4: to why her hands were tied down. She when we
- 13:45Speaker 4: took him out to hold him, she wasn't trying to
- 13:47Speaker 4: rip it off or being aggressive.
- 13:49Speaker 2: And she knew who you were and she was talking
- 13:51Speaker 2: with you, so she has oriented.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 13:53Speaker 2: She said, that's that's violation alone, is a violation to
- 13:58Speaker 2: have shut a facility down. Not during COVID, of course,
- 14:01Speaker 2: because no one knew, but that is criteria to shut
- 14:04Speaker 2: a facility down.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Wow, I've done.
- 14:07Speaker 4: It, man, You know the things that knew. Then her
- 14:11Speaker 4: doctor at one point, and I even I even asked him,
- 14:14Speaker 4: I said, can we give her is she? Can she
- 14:16Speaker 4: get some vitamin C, vitamin D? Can we give her ivermectin?
- 14:20Speaker 4: I know that, And I even told him I was
- 14:22Speaker 4: at this point. I was just a said, I know
- 14:25Speaker 4: there are protocols that you guys are following, but she
- 14:28Speaker 4: is able to breathe without this mask because is can
- 14:31Speaker 4: we do something else about this? And he just said,
- 14:33Speaker 4: the nutritionists know what they're doing and we're doing everything
- 14:36Speaker 4: that we know to do. He politely and just dismissed
- 14:40Speaker 4: me completely, dismissed me completely. You know, I was overwhelmed
- 14:45Speaker 4: with the fact that she was being tied down and
- 14:48Speaker 4: not beating and crying the fact that the oxygen was
- 14:52Speaker 4: hurting her so bad. At one point she told me
- 14:56Speaker 4: when she had the little mask that she was able
- 14:57Speaker 4: to talk and take it off. And she said which
- 15:00Speaker 4: I had to wait to understand her. I kept because
- 15:02Speaker 4: her voice was like you know, someone that can't hear
- 15:05Speaker 4: very well, that how they speak sometimes. It was a
- 15:07Speaker 4: hard understand her because of the damage that had been
- 15:10Speaker 4: done to her lungs and her voice, of her voice box,
- 15:13Speaker 4: her throat everything. But she said, come and brush my tongue. Well,
- 15:18Speaker 4: I didn't know what was gonna I was gonna see.
- 15:21Speaker 4: So I went over there to her, and she opened
- 15:24Speaker 4: her mouth. Her tongue was swollen twice its size with
- 15:28Speaker 4: it was totally white. I brush or I'd never seen it.
- 15:32Speaker 4: The teeth that she had worked so hard with braces
- 15:35Speaker 4: on as a teenager kept white and clean and lovely
- 15:40Speaker 4: or brown, and they looked like little tobacco patches on
- 15:44Speaker 4: her gum. I was I had to excuse myself, I said,
- 15:48Speaker 4: saying I don't know how to scrape that without hurting you.
- 15:51Speaker 4: I'll be right back. I had to leave the room.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I was overwhelmed.
- 15:55Speaker 4: I was overwhelmed.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Let me tell you that that so folks, because folks,
- 16:00Speaker 2: y'all need to hear why this is so profound, because
- 16:03Speaker 2: these are simple, subtle things. Yeah, and look at Sandy
- 16:07Speaker 2: on a good day. This is her before going into
- 16:09Speaker 2: the hospital, a bright, beautiful woman. Some of these subtle
- 16:12Speaker 2: signs and effects and side effects. These are all things
- 16:16Speaker 2: of someone who's got a lot of inflammation, a lot
- 16:20Speaker 2: of overgrowth. And all these things are happening because of
- 16:24Speaker 2: the medications that they're using, the food they're restricting, the
- 16:28Speaker 2: fluid that they're restricting. She's got an overgrowth of yeast,
- 16:32Speaker 2: which shows that the body is starting to attack itself
- 16:35Speaker 2: and it's inflaming. Her tongue was inflamed. And these are basic, basic, basic,
- 16:40Speaker 2: one of one things that everybody needs to understand. When
- 16:43Speaker 2: you get things like that that happen, you should be
- 16:45Speaker 2: intervening to heal, not to keep slamming excessive treatments in
- 16:50Speaker 2: and like you said, nothing in terms of good ivy,
- 16:54Speaker 2: you know, Like how about hyper alimentation? That's a liquid
- 16:58Speaker 2: IV of nutrients, and they weren't feeding her no seventy
- 17:02Speaker 2: five pounds. So what happened when you walked away and
- 17:05Speaker 2: you came back to try to help her?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Did you?
- 17:08Speaker 4: I told her that I did not know how to
- 17:10Speaker 4: do that without hurting her. I didn't know if it
- 17:12Speaker 4: come off. I mean, it didn't look like it was.
- 17:14Speaker 4: It looked like it was part of her tongue. Now
- 17:15Speaker 4: there was nothing I could do to scrape it off.
- 17:17Speaker 4: So she just told me, she said, don't worry, Just
- 17:20Speaker 4: don't worry. So she so that was you know that
- 17:22Speaker 4: we just held her hand about that. Yeah, gave her.
- 17:27Speaker 2: No nurse helped you. Now that's the other thing too.
- 17:31Speaker 2: No one went in there and did oral care. And
- 17:34Speaker 2: on so many of the patients that we were I
- 17:36Speaker 2: was fighting against.
- 17:37Speaker 3: You know, they would put these.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Patients on the high flow or they would have them
- 17:41Speaker 2: they were obviously ventilated at that point. There was such
- 17:44Speaker 2: poor care that the tubes were actually causing necrosis in
- 17:49Speaker 2: their skin because they weren't doing hourly checks and turning things.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Much like your sister Sandy. This is all basic care
- 17:57Speaker 2: that was neglected, neglectful care, And I think I have
- 18:00Speaker 2: to say purposeful care one and done, get the money
- 18:04Speaker 2: and run one and done, get the money and run. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 2: and we'll talk about that in just a bit. But
- 18:09Speaker 2: so you guys just stayed there with her your probably.
- 18:12Speaker 4: You know, no no nurses came in while we were
- 18:15Speaker 4: there to check on her. She never had anybody check
- 18:17Speaker 4: on it. And we were there from We probably got
- 18:19Speaker 4: there at nine in the morning and didn't leave until
- 18:21Speaker 4: well after dinner time. We probably left it seven. I mean,
- 18:25Speaker 4: we stayed the whole day because we were only going
- 18:26Speaker 4: to be there two days, So we were there two
- 18:28Speaker 4: full days and not.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Where's that standard of care hourly rounding and you were
- 18:32Speaker 2: there two full days.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Nurse we had there was a respiratory therapist that came
- 18:38Speaker 4: in each day. He was there maybe twenty minutes both
- 18:41Speaker 4: times with that, and that was and then I saw
- 18:43Speaker 4: our doctor come in the one day and I them
- 18:48Speaker 4: and he brushed me off.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yeah, the doctors are.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Supposed to come every twenty four hours, and you know,
- 18:53Speaker 2: if they do any lab work and they build for it,
- 18:56Speaker 2: they're supposed to address changes or address the labric.
- 19:00Speaker 3: And alter the plan of care. And that was the
- 19:03Speaker 3: other thing that was going on. With these folks.
- 19:05Speaker 2: They were billing, They were biling big, they were billing
- 19:07Speaker 2: for lots of tests. There was no change to the
- 19:09Speaker 2: planet care. They followed the protocol and they shut the door.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Man. Well they well ended up happening was they said
- 19:17Speaker 4: her lungs were brittle. They put at one point she
- 19:20Speaker 4: had two tubes in each lung. Oh my god, Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 4: in each of her lungs there were two tubes. What
- 19:29Speaker 4: I read and found out about later was that it
- 19:31Speaker 4: was making it worse. The air was in her chest cavity,
- 19:34Speaker 4: and I mean it was horrendous the effects that those
- 19:38Speaker 4: can call like when they were penetrating into her, and
- 19:40Speaker 4: just because she was not getting worse quick enough, they
- 19:45Speaker 4: put she made.
- 19:46Speaker 2: It out of the hospital. And my guess is when
- 19:49Speaker 2: she made it out of the hospital, much like myself,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I went home on oxygen. I couldn't tolerate not having
- 19:55Speaker 2: oxygen on And there was probably some you know, miss
- 19:58Speaker 2: of something somewhere where that she wasn't connected and she
- 20:02Speaker 2: needed to kind of collect herself. And then movement, just
- 20:04Speaker 2: even subtle movement from a chair to a stretcher, trying
- 20:07Speaker 2: to decompensate being that debilitated and so her post socks
- 20:10Speaker 2: probably went down so quick. They get her over to
- 20:13Speaker 2: rehab and then they really charge her up. And then
- 20:15Speaker 2: that's when they started her on the high flow because
- 20:17Speaker 2: we're going to dry her out even more.
- 20:19Speaker 4: It was, it was awful.
- 20:21Speaker 3: It was awful. That's incredible.
- 20:23Speaker 2: You know, every time I hear a story, it makes
- 20:25Speaker 2: me madder and madder and just more angry to want
- 20:29Speaker 2: to just the world needs to know what has gone
- 20:32Speaker 2: on behind our noses. And it still continues, it still continues, Yes,
- 20:39Speaker 2: And what happened from there?
- 20:40Speaker 4: So because uh, you know, the tubes were in her
- 20:45Speaker 4: she became weaker and weaker, and of course at this
- 20:48Speaker 4: point she's susceptible to getting infection with those you know,
- 20:51Speaker 4: four cuts in her sides of her body getting in there.
- 20:55Speaker 4: On her death certificate ended up going you know, they
- 20:58Speaker 4: listed septic. I have a list of what they had
- 21:01Speaker 4: on her death certificate. But so from there she just
- 21:05Speaker 4: continued to they had the tubes in her lungs. She
- 21:09Speaker 4: ended up, as we all heard the story, probably by now,
- 21:13Speaker 4: you know, on the dead of night, at three in
- 21:14Speaker 4: the morning, she needs to go on the vent or
- 21:16Speaker 4: you know.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Dressed her lungs. I saw that in your story.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Yeah, so so on December the night. Now, get this,
- 21:24Speaker 4: she'd been there November nineteenth. So, I mean, this kid's
- 21:27Speaker 4: a fighter. All the stuff that's going on, she's not eating,
- 21:31Speaker 4: she's on those the high flow mask which she is
- 21:34Speaker 4: is absolutely killing her to breathe. It's the forest. I
- 21:37Speaker 4: can't even imagine the force going down your throat. I
- 21:40Speaker 4: just I can't. It's hurt. She's hurting, She's crying and hurting,
- 21:43Speaker 4: and all that time, and though finally on the on
- 21:46Speaker 4: December the ninth, they put her on the vent. Her
- 21:50Speaker 4: husband agreed to having her on the vent. She didn't
- 21:53Speaker 4: want to be on the vent. She had told him
- 21:54Speaker 4: she did not want to be on the vent, but
- 21:55Speaker 4: he did it because he thought, well, there might just chance.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Yeah, they wanted to help.
- 22:01Speaker 4: And after that she never that we know, of conscious
- 22:05Speaker 4: again because of the sedation that they had her under.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I came back at the day after Christmas, we were
- 22:10Speaker 4: up there again for three days. She I went up
- 22:14Speaker 4: there to see her, but she was totally unresponsive. You know,
- 22:18Speaker 4: I was whispering in her ear, holding her hand. That
- 22:21Speaker 4: was really hard to see, you know, that was hard.
- 22:26Speaker 4: But yeah, so, uh, there was really, you know, she
- 22:30Speaker 4: couldn't talk. It was hard to be there for a
- 22:31Speaker 4: long period of time. But I just sat with her
- 22:33Speaker 4: and would talk to her and uh, you know, relived
- 22:36Speaker 4: memories with her that only she knew about our childhood memories.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Talked to her and you know, tell her to come back,
- 22:42Speaker 4: and you know, not to leave, and you know, leave
- 22:45Speaker 4: me things like that. So it was difficult. We went
- 22:50Speaker 4: back to her house and I left her Christmas gifts
- 22:53Speaker 4: there while she was in the hospital. Did put a
- 22:57Speaker 4: pair of Christmas socks on her that I brought, you know,
- 23:00Speaker 4: I just I thought maybe a miracle kid happened. I
- 23:04Speaker 4: was not giving up thinking that she something would happen
- 23:08Speaker 4: for her. She's so young. She was just fifty years old.
- 23:11Speaker 4: She was getting ready to graduate in May as a
- 23:13Speaker 4: Christian counselor. She was doing online studies and in May
- 23:17Speaker 4: she would have graduated and been a Christian counselor. I
- 23:20Speaker 4: just thought, no, she's got so much going on, there's
- 23:22Speaker 4: so many things for her still at this young age.
- 23:26Speaker 4: But John had other plans, and she died on January
- 23:30Speaker 4: the third. My husband, we got a call. It was
- 23:34Speaker 4: probably I don't even know, four four thirty in the morning,
- 23:37Speaker 4: and when that phone ring, I knew, and I screamed
- 23:40Speaker 4: at him to not do not tell me, do not
- 23:43Speaker 4: tell me. I don't want to hear it.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I was.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I was unwilling at that point because I knew, and
- 23:49Speaker 4: he just came over and held me, and he didn't
- 23:51Speaker 4: even have to say aything. It was the worst worst
- 23:55Speaker 4: moment I've had. So we just immediately we drove to
- 23:59Speaker 4: my mom's house, which is twenty five minutes away, and
- 24:03Speaker 4: I just sat over her house and cried for hours.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I don't even remember that day. That next morning, I
- 24:09Speaker 4: just I don't even recall it. I was just too
- 24:12Speaker 4: overwhelmed with I just couldn't believe that it happened. I
- 24:16Speaker 4: couldn't believe.
- 24:17Speaker 2: It's incredible, Tammy, and you know the tragedy of all
- 24:20Speaker 2: this is it happened to so many Yeah, and still
- 24:25Speaker 2: to this day. You know, I had COVID back in
- 24:29Speaker 2: August of twenty twenty. It's twenty twenty six. I cannot
- 24:33Speaker 2: believe we're going on six years. When I read more
- 24:36Speaker 2: of your story and the letter to the hospital, I mean,
- 24:40Speaker 2: it's still it hits me. It hits me because I
- 24:43Speaker 2: know what it's like to be there. I know what
- 24:45Speaker 2: it's like to feel that inability to breathe and that
- 24:49Speaker 2: inability to feel like you're being cared for. Mine was
- 24:52Speaker 2: a little unique because I happened to be the chief
- 24:54Speaker 2: nursing officer of the hospital that I got admitted to,
- 24:56Speaker 2: So they were on their best behavior, even while on
- 25:01Speaker 2: their best behavior. And I wrote a lot of it
- 25:03Speaker 2: in my story, and I don't want to take away
- 25:05Speaker 2: from Sandy's, but the concepts of things that I saw
- 25:08Speaker 2: firsthand as a patient, and I was getting better care,
- 25:11Speaker 2: and you know, I got REMDESIVI or I still don't
- 25:14Speaker 2: know how I survived that, but I also got convalescent plasma.
- 25:18Speaker 2: But the fascinating thing to me, and I think I
- 25:20Speaker 2: saw it somewhere in what you had shared. You know,
- 25:23Speaker 2: they came to give me physical therapy. And it's so
- 25:26Speaker 2: funny because physical therapy, like we all know, there was
- 25:29Speaker 2: no physical therapy. They came in, they looked at me
- 25:31Speaker 2: and said, oh, you're not ready to get out of bed.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I'm like, what do you mean? Like that is the
- 25:36Speaker 2: standard of care anybody in the hospital. You're supposed to
- 25:38Speaker 2: help facilitate their movement because movement is muscle and movement
- 25:43Speaker 2: helps the body to repair and heal. They did nothing
- 25:46Speaker 2: for her. They basically, from everything you shared, created a
- 25:50Speaker 2: very slow, painful, tragic death. Yes, mismanaged care. They didn't
- 25:56Speaker 2: follow nursing one on one or physician one on one.
- 26:00Speaker 2: They took all that was sent out by the CDC
- 26:04Speaker 2: and it was thrown out literally every hour on the telewire,
- 26:08Speaker 2: if you will, because where I was at and across
- 26:11Speaker 2: the country, these mandates, these edicts were coming out nearly
- 26:14Speaker 2: hourly to every four hours, and we were having these
- 26:17Speaker 2: mass meetings, and during these meetings it was it was literally,
- 26:20Speaker 2: I tell you, on this side of the fence, it
- 26:23Speaker 2: was like George Orwell. The voices came from the speaker
- 26:26Speaker 2: across the zoom calls, this is what you'll do, this
- 26:29Speaker 2: is what you'll do, this is what you'll do. And
- 26:31Speaker 2: the staff it was sickening. They just complied. And I
- 26:35Speaker 2: felt like I was in the twilight zone. I'm like,
- 26:38Speaker 2: it's an even in our think and this doesn't make sense.
- 26:40Speaker 2: And the people were dying. And the money, there's a
- 26:43Speaker 2: money trail because I stopped following all of the things
- 26:47Speaker 2: that we did, like hourly rounding, looking at good rates
- 26:51Speaker 2: of success of people getting better, and they were managing
- 26:54Speaker 2: rates of death, who was vaccinated, who wasn't vaccinated, which
- 27:00Speaker 2: is on the event, what's her ratio of E or
- 27:03Speaker 2: MED surge and ICU. It was crazy. So when I
- 27:06Speaker 2: tell you, I just want to validate for you. You have
- 27:10Speaker 2: lived hell for the murder of your sister. That's what
- 27:14Speaker 2: happened to her. It's so tragic. I wish there was
- 27:16Speaker 2: justice for this, and I hope by telling more people
- 27:19Speaker 2: we can continue to find others and that you can
- 27:22Speaker 2: get justice.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Yeah. Well she would have done the same for me.
- 27:26Speaker 4: And that's what and that's really what keeps me going
- 27:29Speaker 4: is I try to be uh empathetic in the that
- 27:33Speaker 4: if I put myself, if we had switched places, she
- 27:36Speaker 4: would have he would have fought like it might have
- 27:40Speaker 4: even been more ferocious than me. She's just she was
- 27:44Speaker 4: a tiger, and I know she would have done it
- 27:47Speaker 4: for me. I just, you know a lot of part
- 27:50Speaker 4: parts of me wished I would have done more. Wish
- 27:52Speaker 4: I would have known more. I know a friend of
- 27:55Speaker 4: our mutual friend of ours, Gail, you know, I mean
- 27:57Speaker 4: her husband comes in to take her out. But I
- 27:59Speaker 4: mean you get faced with going to jail yourself for
- 28:03Speaker 4: trying to take out your loved one out of the hospital.
- 28:06Speaker 4: I mean, I just it blows my mind. I have
- 28:08Speaker 4: I can't even conceive of a world like that, and
- 28:12Speaker 4: yet we went through it, you know.
- 28:14Speaker 2: We went through it, and you know why, and not
- 28:16Speaker 2: not for nothing, but because I was pretty deep in
- 28:18Speaker 2: it and I was fighting, and you know, I'm pretty
- 28:21Speaker 2: tough that way, and I couldn't get my I couldn't
- 28:23Speaker 2: get anybody. I mean, and I was working with people
- 28:25Speaker 2: across the country, and I found people literally all over
- 28:28Speaker 2: the world, and we were like these single little silos, going.
- 28:31Speaker 3: How do we help, how do we help?
- 28:32Speaker 2: What do we do? I was putting flyers on people
- 28:35Speaker 2: people's cars. I was I had people I didn't even
- 28:38Speaker 2: know popping up on my phone that were asking questions,
- 28:40Speaker 2: and I was trying to get ivermect into them because
- 28:43Speaker 2: at the time I didn't have the ability to prescribe
- 28:45Speaker 2: and had I had the ability, I.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Mean, I couldn't even get ivermectin for myself.
- 28:49Speaker 2: It was that that pulled back and I look at this,
- 28:52Speaker 2: and why is this so important to all of you
- 28:54Speaker 2: out there today? Because you guys got to realize there's
- 28:58Speaker 2: many of us out there. There's less of them, but
- 29:02Speaker 2: the few that controlled all this. I mean, picture Fauci
- 29:06Speaker 2: ready to swing that first baseball out on the field
- 29:09Speaker 2: with all of our masks on. He was the only
- 29:11Speaker 2: one out there. The power and the greed and everybody
- 29:14Speaker 2: that was given the ability to make choices in our life.
- 29:17Speaker 2: This still happens today, maybe not to the level, maybe not,
- 29:22Speaker 2: but it's still happening. Your choices is people in hospitals
- 29:25Speaker 2: and healthcare. You can't let them tell you absolutes or
- 29:30Speaker 2: must and you have to have a voice. And if
- 29:32Speaker 2: it doesn't, look where it's sound right, and you have
- 29:34Speaker 2: a loved one in the hospital, raise questions, ask for
- 29:38Speaker 2: the patient care advocate. Go put yourself in the administrative
- 29:43Speaker 2: offices and ask calmly and peacefully. Look, I need to
- 29:46Speaker 2: hit some answers. And if you have to bring an attorney,
- 29:49Speaker 2: I mean, it is that obscene, It's terrible.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Unfortunately, you're right.
- 29:53Speaker 2: No.
- 29:54Speaker 4: I even wrote a letter to the Joint Commission. I
- 29:57Speaker 4: had one to the oh it's called the Truth for
- 30:00Speaker 4: Health Foundation. I sent that I get a centennial report.
- 30:03Speaker 4: I've got the report number, you know, for all the
- 30:06Speaker 4: patient's safeties and stuff like that, and I've sent stuff asking,
- 30:10Speaker 4: you know, since then, a couple of times sent the
- 30:13Speaker 4: incident number. I've not heard anything. Of course, I don't
- 30:16Speaker 4: expect to. Of course I never heard back from the
- 30:19Speaker 4: hospital after sending those letters and to her doctor and
- 30:22Speaker 4: to the board of directors.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Think about this. We were tracked and tagged, all of
- 30:29Speaker 2: our lab work, all of the medication, We got all
- 30:32Speaker 2: of the dosages of everything, and oxygen and high flow.
- 30:37Speaker 2: We were nothing but a giant science experiment for research,
- 30:41Speaker 2: and big money was paid to everybody who supported it.
- 30:45Speaker 3: That's what it comes down to.
- 30:46Speaker 2: And now because what they've done, I mean, we still
- 30:49Speaker 2: have people that actually think getting those shots are of benefit.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I mean, it goes way back beyond COVID. There were
- 30:55Speaker 2: so many earlier tests. I hate to even tell you all,
- 30:57Speaker 2: but you know, even the flu vaccines and all those things.
- 31:00Speaker 2: If y'all want to hear the conspiracy theories, you got
- 31:02Speaker 2: to go way back beyond all that. But it's coming out,
- 31:07Speaker 2: and it's you know, I don't have all the information,
- 31:10Speaker 2: but I've just been following the information since my son
- 31:13Speaker 2: had his first vaccine injury at a year old, and
- 31:16Speaker 2: so he's twenty six, so you know, and when when
- 31:20Speaker 2: COVID hit. You know, we all saw when COVID hit
- 31:24Speaker 2: and we were starting to lock down. I had just
- 31:26Speaker 2: been in Idaho in February. We locked down March tenth,
- 31:30Speaker 2: and somewhere between February and March, that whole video came
- 31:35Speaker 2: out of the Pandemic of the Experiment twenty nineteen, and
- 31:41Speaker 2: it was took place at John Hopkins. I mean, if
- 31:44Speaker 2: I saw it, then other people had to see it
- 31:46Speaker 2: then and nobody raised the flat.
- 31:48Speaker 3: The other funny thing this book.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I have to push this book again because it's almost
- 31:54Speaker 2: impossible to find. I don't know if you have this
- 31:56Speaker 2: rebel still, but it's the Coronavirus Prevention Handbook one space tips.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Guess what, Look who wrote it? That's it. Oh, it's
- 32:04Speaker 3: kind of foggy on there. Wang Wang Zhao MD.
- 32:08Speaker 2: He is the physician of the Wuhan Center Disease Control
- 32:13Speaker 2: and Prevention and magically, if you read the little thank
- 32:18Speaker 2: You in the beginning of the book, they talk about
- 32:22Speaker 2: thanking the folks.
- 32:24Speaker 3: That were involved.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Oh, here we go, the National Institute of Health, the
- 32:29Speaker 2: Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the National Health Commission
- 32:34Speaker 2: of China, among others, and the people that are named
- 32:38Speaker 2: in this book.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I mean, good luck getting a copy. I have several in.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Several writing it down and I was like, oh, oh yeah, oh,
- 32:46Speaker 2: I'll send you, I'll send you link. In fact, I
- 32:47Speaker 2: actually have an electronic copy of the entire book. And
- 32:50Speaker 2: what's fascinating about this book, folks, because I've shared this
- 32:53Speaker 2: book on the show before. This book talks about really
- 32:56Speaker 2: the common cold, okay, but what it tells you to
- 32:59Speaker 2: do is to be preventative. You need to heat your body,
- 33:01Speaker 2: you need to stay active, you need to hydrate.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:04Speaker 2: First of all, they didn't hydrate patients. Then they starve patients,
- 33:08Speaker 2: then they kept them still okay, so they really didn't drive.
- 33:11Speaker 2: But the worst part is in this book there is
- 33:14Speaker 2: a little chapter and it talks about you must remain
- 33:18Speaker 2: calm and don't start to get aggravated towards others, and
- 33:22Speaker 2: don't ask questions for if you do, you may find
- 33:26Speaker 2: yourself put in a behavioral health facility.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I kid you not.
- 33:31Speaker 3: This book I got.
- 33:33Speaker 4: This book came.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Out March twenty twenty.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, March twenty twenty.
- 33:41Speaker 2: So Tammy, it's just incredible to me, what do you
- 33:44Speaker 2: do now? How do you advocate for Sandy? What things
- 33:47Speaker 2: are you sharing and doing? And how do you take
- 33:50Speaker 2: care of yourself?
- 33:51Speaker 4: Well, I have, I've done. This is my fifth podcast.
- 33:55Speaker 4: I have two more scheduled in the next couple weeks.
- 33:59Speaker 4: I want to I just want to do them so
- 34:01Speaker 4: that people will keep hearing the stories, that they would
- 34:03Speaker 4: know that someone out there has got information to share
- 34:08Speaker 4: and that they are still loved and thought of. They
- 34:10Speaker 4: aren't forgotten and it never should have happened, and murders
- 34:14Speaker 4: should not be acceptable. I mean, I'm just I'm floored
- 34:18Speaker 4: that it's just allowed, you know so. And taking care
- 34:23Speaker 4: of myself honestly, like you, we've already discussed a little bit.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Was is just through my faith, you know, prayer and
- 34:29Speaker 4: just knowing that she's up there right now dancing and
- 34:32Speaker 4: praising Jesus is the only thing that really keeps me
- 34:35Speaker 4: from honestly sitting around and missing her desperately because she
- 34:40Speaker 4: was my best friend. We called and talked to each
- 34:43Speaker 4: other three or four times a week. And even now
- 34:45Speaker 4: I'll see something in the store or go by and
- 34:48Speaker 4: hear a song and I'll want to call and tell
- 34:49Speaker 4: her something that only she would get you know, one
- 34:51Speaker 4: of our inside jokes, and it brings me down again
- 34:55Speaker 4: another notch, and like she should still be here, you know,
- 35:00Speaker 4: then we can go around the circle. It well, God
- 35:02Speaker 4: wanted her new time to take her home, but I
- 35:05Speaker 4: just felt like it was just too soon for me,
- 35:07Speaker 4: you know. And I know she would have loved to
- 35:10Speaker 4: have loved her family longer, and she certainly wouldn't have
- 35:13Speaker 4: wanted anyone to suffer the way that she did. It
- 35:15Speaker 4: just not ever, it is.
- 35:18Speaker 2: It's just unspeakable. And you know, I'm glad to hear.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I'll tell you that's what got me through my faith
- 35:25Speaker 2: lying in the ICU. You know, I made a deal.
- 35:28Speaker 2: You know how you make those deals bargaining? Oh God, please? Yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 2: And it was an moment of Okay, look God, I'm
- 35:32Speaker 2: too young. I got to see my kids grow up.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I've got a wonderful husband. I had dogs. I gave
- 35:38Speaker 2: it my dogs. I meet my husband, give up my
- 35:40Speaker 2: dogs for adoption while I was in the ICU, because
- 35:42Speaker 2: I didn't know, and I was like, and if I
- 35:44Speaker 2: go my babies, he's going to be so devastated. He't
- 35:47Speaker 2: forget to feed them. It just won't be good.
- 35:49Speaker 4: No, I hear you.
- 35:50Speaker 2: But I got them back when I got home from
- 35:52Speaker 2: the hospital. So it's a beautiful story in that regard.
- 35:55Speaker 2: But I made a deal with God. I said, every day,
- 35:58Speaker 2: if you let me live every day, I promise that
- 36:01Speaker 2: I will do something, something to make a difference. So
- 36:05Speaker 2: that's how this podcast was born, even though it didn't
- 36:08Speaker 2: happen right after COVID collecting people. You know, I do
- 36:12Speaker 2: a weekly trauma group anywhere we can catch people and
- 36:15Speaker 2: help them. But for you and for everybody out there,
- 36:17Speaker 2: I need you all to get the story that what
- 36:22Speaker 2: Tammy's chosen to do is to live full. She puts
- 36:25Speaker 2: her trust in God or faith in God. She's inspired
- 36:29Speaker 2: through sharing the story of her sister. And you're choosing life.
- 36:33Speaker 2: You're choosing to make a difference because so many out there,
- 36:37Speaker 2: and I'm sure somebody's listening today, they are so distraught
- 36:40Speaker 2: by the death of their loved one. It's so incapacitated them,
- 36:45Speaker 2: and I want them to live and I want more
- 36:47Speaker 2: people to know about these stories, because I swear to God,
- 36:50Speaker 2: there's people out there picking daisies, going.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Oh everything's great, and oh yeah, that pandemic.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Was terrible, and they don't even know the impact. And
- 36:58Speaker 2: right under their noses, our choices, our voices, we were
- 37:02Speaker 2: just shut down. Yeah, so don't lose logic. What else
- 37:06Speaker 2: would you like to share in terms of Sandy or
- 37:09Speaker 2: what you want the world to know?
- 37:12Speaker 4: Yeah, No, that's good note for me. Sharing her story
- 37:16Speaker 4: really does help keep her alive still with me because
- 37:19Speaker 4: I feel like she's with me when I share her story.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Like she uh, we had a love that was very special.
- 37:25Speaker 4: I mean, we were sisters, but Mom said, you know,
- 37:28Speaker 4: you guys were twins. You were just born three years apart.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Because we just you know, everything was together for us.
- 37:34Speaker 4: We had a lot of similarities, we love the same things.
- 37:37Speaker 4: We just we just really messed well. So without her
- 37:41Speaker 4: being here, it's it's hard for me. But like I said,
- 37:43Speaker 4: when I look through her notes, I mean the notes
- 37:46Speaker 4: for doing keeping track of all that I've done with
- 37:49Speaker 4: letters and different things and writings, and I write on substack,
- 37:52Speaker 4: I have a blog and I've written about her quite
- 37:54Speaker 4: a few times. I've got poems and just keeps her
- 37:57Speaker 4: alive in my heart and it keeps her feel she's
- 38:00Speaker 4: just so with me and connected with me still by
- 38:02Speaker 4: keeping her memory alive and I will tell you that
- 38:06Speaker 4: the devastation that causes when someone is gone is the
- 38:10Speaker 4: fact that families can break up, and ours has because
- 38:14Speaker 4: of this, Like her husband very much didn't believe anything,
- 38:18Speaker 4: like he thought the hospitals were amazing and they were
- 38:20Speaker 4: on target and on spot, and it has totally broken
- 38:26Speaker 4: the relationship there. My mom doesn't get to see my
- 38:29Speaker 4: sister's youngest child, who is now twelve. That that relationship
- 38:35Speaker 4: has been severed because we believe that something happened to
- 38:38Speaker 4: her that shouldn't have the hospital and he believes that
- 38:40Speaker 4: they did everything they could and so just because of
- 38:42Speaker 4: that belief, he doesn't want to have anything to do
- 38:45Speaker 4: with us anymore. I don't understand it. It's what happened,
- 38:50Speaker 4: and it's terrible for my mom. She can't see her
- 38:53Speaker 4: youngest grandchild now, and she hasn't seen her in over
- 38:56Speaker 4: about a year and a half now. It's just it's just.
- 38:59Speaker 2: The same situation. So that's yeah, and that's happened too.
- 39:06Speaker 2: You know where he's appa, perhaps he has his own
- 39:08Speaker 2: sadness and guilt and grief because she has gone. But
- 39:11Speaker 2: instead of clinging to each other, you know, he's pulled away,
- 39:14Speaker 2: and that's that's equally tragic. Absolutely, So, folks, I want
- 39:19Speaker 2: you how can people reach you too? Again, if somebody
- 39:21Speaker 2: saw your story and wants to share it further, how
- 39:23Speaker 2: can people reach you? Is there a good way that
- 39:25Speaker 2: you have set up that you'd like people to reach
- 39:26Speaker 2: you on substack or do you have a you know
- 39:28Speaker 2: what I do have?
- 39:30Speaker 4: My substack is just real similar to my Gmail, which
- 39:32Speaker 4: I don't mind to give out. My Gmail is just
- 39:34Speaker 4: like my full name, it's Tammy t A M M.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Y Baker b A K E R twenty three at
- 39:39Speaker 4: gmail dot com. And then my substack is Tammy Baker
- 39:43Speaker 4: twenty three dot substack dot com. And you can reach
- 39:47Speaker 4: out to me either anyway. And I and I would
- 39:49Speaker 4: love to be just a sounding board or listen to
- 39:52Speaker 4: your story and just be there for someone who needs
- 39:55Speaker 4: to share something that's so uh, it's so frustrating and
- 39:59Speaker 4: you don't want to get and take it out in
- 40:00Speaker 4: an angry way, but you're so upset and distraught that
- 40:03Speaker 4: sometimes you just need to tell somebody and then it
- 40:06Speaker 4: just helps you, you know.
- 40:08Speaker 2: No, that's wonderful. Well, I think you know. And again
- 40:11Speaker 2: this message out there for everyone to hear. Tammy's story
- 40:14Speaker 2: about her sister Sandy. You may have a different twist
- 40:18Speaker 2: to it, but it's the whole concept too of how
- 40:20Speaker 2: do you heal, How do you heal from grief? How
- 40:23Speaker 2: do you go forward when you're the devastation of losing someone,
- 40:26Speaker 2: but also additionally when it doesn't really feel justified or
- 40:31Speaker 2: in Tammy's case, where Sandy it really feels a lot
- 40:35Speaker 2: like a little bit of a homicide, you know, neglect,
- 40:38Speaker 2: poor care, whatever you want to stick the label on it.
- 40:41Speaker 2: I know personally from working in these places and personally
- 40:44Speaker 2: from living it myself. There were mistakes, many mistakes. There
- 40:48Speaker 2: were bad choices, there were bad protocols, and there was refusal,
- 40:52Speaker 2: absolute refusal of the right to try. And you don't
- 40:55Speaker 2: get to have a refusal of the right to try.
- 40:58Speaker 2: If the family member or the patient want to ask
- 41:00Speaker 2: for something else, you have to give them the option
- 41:03Speaker 2: of how to do it now, what that entails that
- 41:07Speaker 2: may need to be worked out, but ivermacton.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Come on, folks.
- 41:10Speaker 2: So again, I want to thank you so much for
- 41:13Speaker 2: being on the show. We probably have lots more we
- 41:15Speaker 2: can do in future settings too, and I really want
- 41:19Speaker 2: everybody to remember too, if you are stuff, if you
- 41:22Speaker 2: are stressed, if you were anxious, if you were depressed,
- 41:25Speaker 2: if you don't know where to go, you always down
- 41:27Speaker 2: nine eighty eight. That is the national hotline. It's a
