- 0:30Speaker 1: Hey, every Friday. Welcome to Conspiracy The Show. I'm your host,
- 0:37Speaker 1: Adam Todd Brown joining me today's co host by Hello,
- 0:42Speaker 1: you said hi very loudly as I said your name,
- 0:45Speaker 1: So you said your name again? Olivia Heidar? How is
- 0:49Speaker 1: it going good?
- 0:50Speaker 2: I'm great. I'm so happy to be here.
- 0:53Speaker 1: We are as this podcast is released and as people
- 0:57Speaker 1: are listening to it, we're celebrating a mile so truly
- 1:00Speaker 1: is it is the one week anniversary of the death
- 1:04Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein R P R I P and I
- 1:09Speaker 1: hopefully hopefully that P doesn't mean pedophilia.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I mean it sure did it did it did?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:17Speaker 2: It really really did.
- 1:19Speaker 1: And people have been begging for a Jeffrey Epstein episode
- 1:23Speaker 1: ever since this happened.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Not cool people, that's it's too soon, don't you think?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, can his family get some privacy?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Honestly a little piece? Yeah? Was he married? I never?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Oh god, I hope not. You don't ever hear anything
- 1:38Speaker 1: about I don't.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Think he doesn't seem like a late like a real
- 1:41Speaker 2: settled talent.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Yeah. If he was, she should be imprisoned. Too.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Probably I guess he was. He would settle down with
- 1:50Speaker 2: a few slaves, like you know, yeah, life with a
- 1:54Speaker 2: few underage sex slaves, few few children.
- 1:58Speaker 1: He's taken into his pass What a monster, What a
- 2:02Speaker 1: fucking character, And now he's dead. Yeah, allegedly, they're.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Good to be saying that a lot this episode.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and we're this is sort of a two part
- 2:16Speaker 1: episode in that one of the immediate things that happened
- 2:21Speaker 1: in the aftermath of this a is Trump took the
- 2:23Speaker 1: Twitter and started sharing his own personal favorite conspiracy theory
- 2:29Speaker 1: about the death of Jeffrey Epstein. The Depstein right. I
- 2:34Speaker 1: think if we want to call if we want to
- 2:35Speaker 1: shorten the death of Jeffrey Epstein, Oh sure, yeah Depstein right,
- 2:40Speaker 1: hashtag Depstein Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Two p's. So it's like it's almost like it's Johnny.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Almost like it's Johnny Depp, And if something happens to him,
- 2:48Speaker 1: we can just slide him right into that.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Maybe that hashtag pretty easy. Maybe he was on the list.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Maybe that's why maybe he killed when he smothered him
- 2:57Speaker 2: with a scarf.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see that. Yeah, Oh yeah, we're we're
- 3:00Speaker 1: going to talk about the Jeffrey Epstein case. And all
- 3:05Speaker 1: of the various conspiracies around it, and including Trump's favorite
- 3:10Speaker 1: con version of the conspiracy. And then next week we're
- 3:15Speaker 1: going to we're going to read an article that came
- 3:18Speaker 1: out just a couple of days ago, and it's about
- 3:22Speaker 1: the twenty three different conspiracy theories that Trump has elevated
- 3:27Speaker 1: in public brought attention to, and they're almost all trash.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And I'm a conspiracy theory guy, like you can sell
- 3:35Speaker 1: me on a conspiracy theory any day. Yeah, but most
- 3:37Speaker 1: of the ones he believes are nonsense.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I mean, here's the thing, like breaking news, He's really dumb. Yeah,
- 3:45Speaker 2: that's like the main thing about him there is that, Yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 2: all of his conspiracy theories are going to be dumb.
- 3:50Speaker 2: He seems gullible, extremely Yeah, which is a great quality
- 3:55Speaker 2: in the president. It's it's exactly what you want in
- 3:58Speaker 2: a world leader and someone out there they're making deals
- 4:01Speaker 2: on your behalf. But I think in this case, even
- 4:04Speaker 2: though he's pushing a conspiracy theory that I think is
- 4:08Speaker 2: very obviously not true, I think the death of Jeffrey
- 4:13Speaker 2: Epstein is good cause for everyone to be a little skeptical.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I would say most definitely, there's no there is no
- 4:23Speaker 2: positive reading of this, regardless of conspiracies.
- 4:27Speaker 1: No, there's no good outcome. We're never like I said
- 4:32Speaker 1: before we started, we're the One thing we know is
- 4:34Speaker 1: we're never gonna know what happened exactly. We will never
- 4:38Speaker 1: get an actual answer. They'll launch investigations, they're already launching investigations.
- 4:43Speaker 2: There will be reports, yeah, and there might be like
- 4:46Speaker 2: differing reports, but that would just make it harder to
- 4:50Speaker 2: know what actually happens.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Oh, there will definitely be differing reports because one of
- 4:54Speaker 1: the bodies doing an investigation into this is the prison
- 4:58Speaker 1: where it happen.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But man, they don't have a stake in it at all.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not going to come out the other end
- 5:03Speaker 1: of that going. Man, you should probably shut us down.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just it's a very interesting thing, and I
- 5:09Speaker 2: think it is going to be a real watershed mystery
- 5:13Speaker 2: for our time. Oh yeah, because it's one of those
- 5:17Speaker 2: things where with other conspiracies like there, there are sometimes
- 5:22Speaker 2: not for all of them, obviously, but there are often
- 5:24Speaker 2: like rational explanations that all make sense out like without
- 5:29Speaker 2: a conspiracy being involved. But for this, the most generous
- 5:34Speaker 2: read of this incident is that our criminal justice system
- 5:38Speaker 2: is so completely broken that someone of this caliber, this
- 5:43Speaker 2: a prisoner this important, is able to be left alone
- 5:47Speaker 2: after already committing attempting suicide once after being on suicide watch,
- 5:52Speaker 2: was allowed to be left alone for long enough for
- 5:55Speaker 2: this to happen. There is just so much negligent, Like
- 5:58Speaker 2: at best, it's negligent and complete disregard for the public interest.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's it's it's definitely that, it's definitely negligence. Yes,
- 6:08Speaker 1: if like if he was murdered or committed suicide, it's negligence.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And it's one of those things where not only are
- 6:17Speaker 1: we not gonna know, but it it's going to I think,
- 6:21Speaker 1: in the long run have a negative impact on how
- 6:25Speaker 1: we view the government in total general. Yeah, because it's
- 6:30Speaker 1: like it's one thing to pull this shit off in
- 6:32Speaker 1: the seventies and eighties when there's no Internet, but this
- 6:36Speaker 1: is not gonna go away.
- 6:38Speaker 2: No, No, it's just going to mutate.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And it I don't know. I feel like hopefully they
- 6:47Speaker 1: got the information out of him that they needed to
- 6:50Speaker 1: get out of him, right, But beyond that, I.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Mean, but it's all like say he got taken into
- 6:56Speaker 2: witness protection or anything, that's still robbing the public of
- 7:00Speaker 2: this guy's day in court, and that's robbing the victims
- 7:04Speaker 2: of justice. It's you know, it's removing any information that
- 7:08Speaker 2: he might have had from the public record. So even
- 7:10Speaker 2: if he's testifying in secret, he's still like, that's not
- 7:15Speaker 2: helping the public. It's only helping the government. Oh yeah,
- 7:18Speaker 2: hide whatever information that he might have.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I haven't released this yet, but last week I interviewed
- 7:24Speaker 1: a guy named John Potash who wrote a book called
- 7:28Speaker 1: Drugs as Weapons against Us word, and it's about the
- 7:32Speaker 1: CIA using music and musicians to sell drugs and then
- 7:38Speaker 1: killing musicians when they become too radical, right. And I
- 7:43Speaker 1: mentioned this on another podcast recently, and I should clarify
- 7:47Speaker 1: that he's made it clear that he got the and
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'll release the interview really soon. He made it really
- 7:54Speaker 1: clear that he got this from a not necessarily trustworthy
- 7:59Speaker 1: sore or a source he hadn't been able to verify yet.
- 8:03Speaker 1: But one of the things he said he had heard
- 8:06Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein was that he was a intelligence operative.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And what was happening at these parties is they would
- 8:16Speaker 1: bring very rich and powerful men there and they would
- 8:21Speaker 1: start out as just sex parties, right, and then they
- 8:25Speaker 1: would roofy these dudes and start bringing in younger and
- 8:29Speaker 1: younger women and videotaping it and using that as blackmail material,
- 8:35Speaker 1: which that is the least savory conspiracy theory.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and I.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Don't know, that's that's that's that's one where you have
- 8:45Speaker 1: to you have to have mk ultra thoughts about the governments.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, And like, look, I'm not going to put
- 8:52Speaker 2: it like I'm hesitant to put anything past the CIA, right, but.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Like or Russia. But it could have been a thing
- 8:59Speaker 1: he was doing on sure, sure.
- 9:02Speaker 2: But when it's that vague of who it would even be,
- 9:04Speaker 2: that's another reason to be skeptical.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Also, Like the other main thing is I don't want
- 9:09Speaker 2: to do anything to remove culpability from the predators who
- 9:14Speaker 2: were involved with Epstein because like, regardless of whether he
- 9:19Speaker 2: was an asset or whatever, I mean, we have reports
- 9:23Speaker 2: of his fucking neighbors. Yeah, who are like talking to Oh,
- 9:27Speaker 2: it's like, here's my sex slave.
- 9:28Speaker 1: How's it going?
- 9:29Speaker 2: It fucking insane when you read these things.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, people should people should read The Miami Herald
- 9:38Speaker 1: did the best reporting on the Jeffrey Epstein case. It's
- 9:43Speaker 1: like mind blowing ly like ghoulish and the when I
- 9:49Speaker 1: feel like they, the mainstream media didn't do a good
- 9:53Speaker 1: enough job explaining how crazy this plea deal was. The
- 9:57Speaker 1: sign Yeah, like he was in jail, but he was
- 10:02Speaker 1: allowed work release, and for some reason, they let that
- 10:07Speaker 1: work release happen at an office he set up like
- 10:10Speaker 1: sixty miles from the jail, and it was a plush
- 10:16Speaker 1: fucking office.
- 10:17Speaker 2: This it was.
- 10:18Speaker 1: And at one point a cop when he's supposed to
- 10:22Speaker 1: be at his office sixty miles away, a cop finds
- 10:26Speaker 1: him just walking around Miami Beach and is like, you know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: you're supposed to be at your office, right, and they
- 10:31Speaker 1: do nothing. He gets there's he's punished in no sort
- 10:37Speaker 1: of way for it. And the craziest part, which you
- 10:41Speaker 1: don't here mentioned a lot when this comes up on
- 10:43Speaker 1: the news, which it's finally coming up right, like this
- 10:46Speaker 1: should have been a scandal as soon as Acosta was appointed,
- 10:50Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, the secretary of Labor.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It like the it should have been a scandal before
- 10:56Speaker 2: Trump was elected president. Yeah, like, yeah, that's the thing.
- 11:00Speaker 2: It should have been a scandal. It was a scandal almost.
- 11:03Speaker 2: It got like all this stuff bubbled up in like
- 11:05Speaker 2: ten years ago or more Like, I've been reading reports
- 11:09Speaker 2: and articles about Jeffrey Epstein they think back to like
- 11:12Speaker 2: almost two thousand.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, and the the biggest part, the most scandalous
- 11:18Speaker 1: part of that deal is the victims weren't told. Yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and that's that's law, Like you have to notify the
- 11:26Speaker 1: victims in cases like this. Yeah, and they weren't notified
- 11:30Speaker 1: until well after he'd been released and served his bullshit sentence.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Everything about this just screams abolish prisons, like just yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 2: get rid of them. We don't need them.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But it's also really easy to see why people are
- 11:46Speaker 1: immediately gravitating toward conspiracy theory.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Of course, of course, and like all of the details
- 11:53Speaker 2: are insane, all of like the work release and everything
- 11:56Speaker 2: is nuts, and it's all involving the like highest echelons
- 12:02Speaker 2: of the rich and powerful in this country. So of
- 12:05Speaker 2: course there's gonna be a million conspiracy theories because shit,
- 12:08Speaker 2: that's how conspiracies happen. That's what happens among is these
- 12:12Speaker 2: rich and powerful people.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah. And the yeah, the Acosta thing, Yeah, how that
- 12:19Speaker 1: isn't the biggest scandal in the Trump administration right now, Like,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I mean, not just that he gave this guy who
- 12:26Speaker 1: gave one of the world's most notorious pedophiles a sweetheart deal.
- 12:32Speaker 1: He gives that guy a job, but not just a job,
- 12:36Speaker 1: He gives him a job running the department that oversees
- 12:39Speaker 1: human trafficking. Yeah, that is scandalous.
- 12:44Speaker 2: As fuck, It absolutely is. But is that not the
- 12:48Speaker 2: magic trick of the Trump administration that we've seen time
- 12:51Speaker 2: and time and time again throughout his entire administration. It's
- 12:55Speaker 2: something about this fucking guy takes anything that should be
- 12:59Speaker 2: a scandal and just smooths it out. It just becomes
- 13:03Speaker 2: a part of the landscape, and none of it makes
- 13:06Speaker 2: an impact. Nothing has ever made an impact against his
- 13:10Speaker 2: ability to keep doing these things.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's really crazy. We hardly this episode of
- 13:17Speaker 1: on Pops coming out next week about how to beat
- 13:20Speaker 1: Trump in twenty twenty, which probably isn't gonna happen.
- 13:23Speaker 2: But I have no faith in that.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I said on there one of the things Democrats need
- 13:26Speaker 1: to start doing is calling his immigration plan socialism, because
- 13:31Speaker 1: it is, and it's not the It's not the good kind, right,
- 13:35Speaker 1: it's the Nazi brute force kind that takes one group
- 13:41Speaker 1: right shit and just gives it to someone else and
- 13:44Speaker 1: go see.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I would say the problem with that is that Democrats
- 13:48Speaker 2: are I mean, we want democrats to be socialists, so
- 13:51Speaker 2: I don't really want to know.
- 13:52Speaker 1: But that's it's an opening to educate people about socialists.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I definitely I don't disagree with the with the with
- 14:01Speaker 2: the nuts because of because what he's doing is stealing,
- 14:04Speaker 2: like it should be a thing of we like the
- 14:07Speaker 2: fact that more Democrat cans aren't using the words manifest destiny.
- 14:12Speaker 2: And this is obviously a whole other thing, but like,
- 14:14Speaker 2: that's what is happening now, is he Like if he
- 14:17Speaker 2: wants to build the wall, he's gonna have to literally
- 14:19Speaker 2: take land from the people that he is supposedly in
- 14:23Speaker 2: the pocket, like his bases, like the landowners, farm owners,
- 14:28Speaker 2: and those people are all going to get their land
- 14:30Speaker 2: taken for this fucking wall. Yeah, if it happens, they won't.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Give a shit.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I mean some of them will, yeah, probably, And I
- 14:38Speaker 2: mean along the border in Texas, he got a lot
- 14:40Speaker 2: of people who like don't believe in these immigration laws. Yeah,
- 14:44Speaker 2: like they want real immigration. Oh my god, nuts, it's
- 14:48Speaker 2: bad time.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Let's get back to happier subject matter.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like the death of a weird fucking sex criminal.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Like how officers didn't check on Epstein for several hours
- 14:58Speaker 1: before finding his by Like again, it's still like cool,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I get it, Like I this really to me feels
- 15:08Speaker 1: like there's a narrative being painted here or a story,
- 15:13Speaker 1: Like I feel like something else is going on. I
- 15:16Speaker 1: don't think Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's so it's just everything about the situation is so
- 15:24Speaker 2: outrageously suspicious, Like there's not like it's the fact that
- 15:30Speaker 2: there Their defense is incompetence. That's the thing. Like it's
- 15:35Speaker 2: just I mean, but at the same time, we've been
- 15:38Speaker 2: Another thing that we've learned from the Trump administration is
- 15:40Speaker 2: incompetence is a really good cover. Like everything that they
- 15:44Speaker 2: do is like this just like, oh, they're incompetent. Well
- 15:46Speaker 2: it's like yeah, but it's bad to be incompetent if
- 15:49Speaker 2: you're in the government.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And even then, like in this case, incompetence feels like
- 15:55Speaker 1: a weird argument. If we're talking about a prison el
- 15:58Speaker 1: Chopo couldn't escape from totally because that's the point he
- 16:01Speaker 1: was held there, and that motherfucker if you turned your
- 16:04Speaker 1: back on him for a second.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like an actual dangerous Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 1: He was like tunneling out miles and miles from the
- 16:11Speaker 1: building if you gave him any opportunity. So we could
- 16:15Speaker 1: keep El Chopo housed up, But we couldn't keep this
- 16:19Speaker 1: privileged white fuck who's probably never seen a day of
- 16:23Speaker 1: hard work in his life.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Oh no, not at all.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Like we couldn't keep tabs on him.
- 16:29Speaker 2: That's the thing. Yeah, it's weird. It's it is. Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 2: that's what I was saying earlier, Like the most generous
- 16:35Speaker 2: interpretation is rank in competence and like, and even that
- 16:39Speaker 2: doesn't really explain it, Like it's it's not only I
- 16:43Speaker 2: guess coming up from it being a total accident would
- 16:47Speaker 2: be they wanted him to kill himself, and so they
- 16:50Speaker 2: left him alone and just like, you know, gave him
- 16:55Speaker 2: a fucking straight razor or whatever. I don't even know
- 16:57Speaker 2: what the we hung himself hung, sure.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, with an extra set of hands.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Like I want to be like like I am, like
- 17:08Speaker 2: I am not trustful of the government, but I like
- 17:10Speaker 2: I'm a pretty skeptical at heart person.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and that I.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Mean skeptical of the government and also skeptical of like
- 17:17Speaker 2: conspiracy theory claims and stuff and even still it just
- 17:22Speaker 2: the details of it are all so fucked up that, yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 2: I can't totally shake off that feeling.
- 17:31Speaker 1: The fact that he was taken off suicide watch. Yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 1: shortly after all those documents were made public.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and like in literally like what three weeks ago
- 17:43Speaker 2: he had the suicide attempt or less even.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah, like they claimed that was him being attacked in
- 17:50Speaker 1: his cell, but I mean, sure, like it just is.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I can't like it's also if it is a conspiracy,
- 17:59Speaker 2: it's so that it happened that soon after other attempt
- 18:03Speaker 2: I mean honestly, yeah, I don't know. It's it's all
- 18:07Speaker 2: none of it makes any sense.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That's the the one thing that makes me feel like
- 18:13Speaker 1: it could be a witness protection thing is that it
- 18:17Speaker 1: happened so soon after those documents came out, Like that's
- 18:22Speaker 1: when he was going to be most in danger, and
- 18:26Speaker 1: it like if it is a witness protection thing, like
- 18:30Speaker 1: they would almost have to move immediately. Yeah, And the FBI, CIA, whoever,
- 18:36Speaker 1: they don't give a shit if we think that the
- 18:39Speaker 1: government killed him, or if we think that prison was
- 18:42Speaker 1: so incompetent that they let him commit suicide, they don't.
- 18:45Speaker 1: They don't fucking care if we think.
- 18:46Speaker 2: That, Oh no, that's it's obvious that they don't care
- 18:49Speaker 2: that we think it's incompetence because that's their excuse.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, obviously, like yeah, they're they're fine going with
- 18:57Speaker 1: that cover story. And that's that's one way I think
- 19:02Speaker 1: people need to grasp that that's how our government operates
- 19:06Speaker 1: a lot of times, like when the really weird stories
- 19:11Speaker 1: start circulating, those are the ones where they're not gonna
- 19:14Speaker 1: make any effort to debunk it because that's usually the
- 19:18Speaker 1: really fantastical, right not true, version of what's happening. When
- 19:23Speaker 1: the truth is there's usually something happening, but it's just
- 19:27Speaker 1: not as exciting as we make it out to be.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Like how a lot of alien like UFO sidings, Like
- 19:35Speaker 1: still an ardent believer in UFOs, but I know a
- 19:38Speaker 1: lot of those were the government testing the aircraft that
- 19:41Speaker 1: we had never seen before. Absolutely, and so like I
- 19:45Speaker 1: feel like every possibility is a possibility, except that the
- 19:50Speaker 1: Clintons had him killed.
- 19:51Speaker 2: For some reason that one does seem not likely. Yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 2: I feel like that's a real stretch by a certain
- 19:59Speaker 2: group of peeople who just really wanted to be the Clintons.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Like, yeah, including Trump. Yeah, that was his.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yeah, like you can tell that it's not the Clintons
- 20:09Speaker 2: based on how fervently some people believe it was the Clintons.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Uh, yeah, it's uh, it's Do you think Trump would
- 20:16Speaker 1: ever try to frame the Clintons for it?
- 20:18Speaker 2: Sure? Yeah, I mean I don't know that he's got
- 20:20Speaker 2: those faculties. I think he would definitely, I think him
- 20:24Speaker 2: killing it. Killing him is much more likely, oh the Clintons,
- 20:28Speaker 2: because he's the president of the United States, and him
- 20:31Speaker 2: killing anyone is much more likely than pretty easy than
- 20:34Speaker 2: the casual citizen.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Imagine if this happened under Obama, we'd have to
- 20:39Speaker 1: explain how Jeffrey Epstein died from a drone strike.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I yeah, we just left the airspace unguarded for thirty minutes.
- 20:49Speaker 2: He was out in the yard and no one.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Was around fucking drone. Sure, we don't know how it happened.
- 20:54Speaker 2: We don't know where it came from. It looked like
- 20:56Speaker 2: a UFO. Yeah, aliens killed EPs Uh. Yeah, it's just like,
- 21:04Speaker 2: do you like.
- 21:05Speaker 1: My do you?
- 21:06Speaker 2: I would be so unsatisfied if it turned out that
- 21:10Speaker 2: it was witness protection. That would make me so angry.
- 21:14Speaker 1: The only thing that would make me content in that
- 21:18Speaker 1: case is if it was along the lines of what
- 21:22Speaker 1: happened in I think it was Ukraine recently where this
- 21:26Speaker 1: journalist that all these news reports came out and said
- 21:29Speaker 1: that this journalist died and it was this journalist who
- 21:32Speaker 1: had been a big opponent of Russia, and there were
- 21:35Speaker 1: all these fears he might be killed, and sure enough
- 21:37Speaker 1: he was killed and the world mourned. And then three
- 21:41Speaker 1: days later he showed up at a press conference.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and I remember hearing about that.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and the government of Ukraine, the Ukraine government was like,
- 21:49Speaker 1: we had to do that, otherwise Russia would have killed him. Yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: Like we did that is talk about him from Russia,
- 21:55Speaker 1: talk about a lethal government and yeah. And the only
- 22:00Speaker 1: I think positive outcome here, if it is witness protection,
- 22:04Speaker 1: is a few months down the road a trial starts
- 22:08Speaker 1: and Jeffrey Epstein shows up as a witness, I mean,
- 22:12Speaker 1: and then like I could live with him doing that
- 22:16Speaker 1: in exchange for like, because like I don't think can
- 22:19Speaker 1: he get the death penalty for this?
- 22:20Speaker 2: I don't think it's I don't know, I don't think yeah, personally,
- 22:24Speaker 2: so I would hope not. And like I hate the
- 22:26Speaker 2: guy I mean, you know, I'm no fan of the guy,
- 22:28Speaker 2: but like definity sucks.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, like that's the only like if he like turns
- 22:34Speaker 1: up again in court, then yeah, I would get it.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess the sub like the main like subsidente
- 22:41Speaker 2: difference is, you know, that was one country hiding a
- 22:44Speaker 2: guy from another country, whereas this would be the government
- 22:48Speaker 2: hiding someone from other people in the government, which seems could.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Be the FBI hiding him from Trump.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but like do we trust the FBI that much?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like I feel like right now I trust the FBI
- 23:02Speaker 1: more than Trump.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Oh, I mean sure, absolutely, Like that continu in this
- 23:07Speaker 2: whole thing. It feels weird to call the FBI the
- 23:11Speaker 2: good guys.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the thing, but they feel like sort of
- 23:15Speaker 1: the good guys what's happening, just as it pertains to
- 23:19Speaker 1: what's happening in the country right now, it sort of
- 23:23Speaker 1: feels like the FBI versus Trump and the CIA.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I mean that is the justification and why, like the
- 23:30Speaker 2: reason why it's good to have these intelligence officials and
- 23:36Speaker 2: government people who go from administration to administration. That that's
- 23:40Speaker 2: what to me is actually the deep state or these
- 23:43Speaker 2: people right who like just keep their jobs regardless of
- 23:46Speaker 2: who's president or whatever. Right, Like, that's the that is
- 23:49Speaker 2: the positive side of that. That's the reason why it's
- 23:52Speaker 2: said that we have that system, Yeah, is so that
- 23:55Speaker 2: there's no sort of loyalty. I just I don't know.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't It's tough for me to
- 24:00Speaker 2: trust the FBI.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean it's it's tough to trust anyone. Yeah,
- 24:06Speaker 1: right now, especially as it pertains to government. I don't
- 24:09Speaker 1: trust half the people running for president on the Democrat side.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Like it's everything feels shady right now.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yes, it's an extremely shady time.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And this, like, I don't know if the death of
- 24:25Speaker 1: a person has ever felt more inevitable. Oh yeah. I've
- 24:30Speaker 1: known motherfuckers with cancer where I'm like, they're probably gonna
- 24:37Speaker 1: fucking stick it out. But Jeffrey Epstein, I was like, well, he's.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Gonna die immediately.
- 24:43Speaker 1: It's going to die.
- 24:44Speaker 2: It was the consensus.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And then like and again like that fucking the the
- 24:50Speaker 2: attempt or quote from several weeks ago, Like that was
- 24:54Speaker 2: just seemed to be like even more like, obviously this
- 24:57Speaker 2: is gonna happen every It was just so in evitable, and.
- 25:01Speaker 1: It feels like one of those things. I mean, this
- 25:04Speaker 1: is a conspiracy podcast, after all. One of the things
- 25:08Speaker 1: really abusive governments and especially authoritarian governments do is before
- 25:14Speaker 1: they do something really drastic, they'll put a little hint
- 25:17Speaker 1: of it out to the world and see how they react.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And one of another example, in one of my biggest
- 25:25Speaker 1: concerns about Trump is that that's what he's doing when
- 25:28Speaker 1: he makes all those jokes about, oh, maybe I should
- 25:31Speaker 1: get two more years because of the Russia investigation. Absolutely,
- 25:34Speaker 1: or maybe I'll just stay in office for forty years.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Like that's him like floating it out there and seeing
- 25:41Speaker 1: how we respond. And that first Epstein incident felt like that,
- 25:47Speaker 1: where they were like, Okay, are the people going to
- 25:49Speaker 1: take to the fucking streets?
- 25:50Speaker 2: And that definitely as far as the Trump stuff, I
- 25:53Speaker 2: literally just think that's how he his brain works. I
- 25:56Speaker 2: don't think that he does any of that stuff. He's
- 25:58Speaker 2: just a natural born authoritarian and that's just how he works.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Is being is by doing I don't think there's any
- 26:05Speaker 2: sort of conscious plan for him, Like, man, it just
- 26:09Speaker 2: seems to be like that's how I sure hope not
- 26:11Speaker 2: I That's been the whole reason I've been terrified of
- 26:15Speaker 2: him being president since twenty fifteen.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Oh god damn it. Yeah, I know, but he is president,
- 26:21Speaker 1: sure is. And now shit like this is happening yeah
- 26:25Speaker 1: in the United States, Like this feels like a thing
- 26:27Speaker 1: that would happen in Russia.
- 26:28Speaker 2: This is absolutely this is such a It's like anytime
- 26:33Speaker 2: a Russian like the polonium guy, remember that guy. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 2: that was like another one of those things where it's like, oh,
- 26:40Speaker 2: this is so obviously a Russian assassination, but can't do anything.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I mean, do you approve it?
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah, he can't prove it.
- 26:46Speaker 1: And what really worries me about this is pedophiles are
- 26:52Speaker 1: where we always test out our most extreme justice and
- 26:57Speaker 1: punishment sure options, and we do it because we know
- 27:03Speaker 1: no one's gonna be mad about it, right, No one's
- 27:06Speaker 1: gonna get mad when you make pedophiles live under an overpass,
- 27:12Speaker 1: even though that is regardless of crime, that is an
- 27:16Speaker 1: extremely cruel and unusual punishment. Absolutely, but no one gives
- 27:21Speaker 1: a shit because it's pedophiles. Yeah, another example, it gives
- 27:24Speaker 1: a shit.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I mean like, well, oh yeah, I mean there are
- 27:26Speaker 2: this episode's going to keep putting me in these really
- 27:28Speaker 2: weird positions.
- 27:29Speaker 1: No, that's the thing. I agree with you, Yeah, and
- 27:32Speaker 1: it I think it's a dangerous thing. Another another example.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I've brought this up a few times before, but under
- 27:40Speaker 1: the Obama administration, he filed this lawsuit against these three
- 27:44Speaker 1: dudes who had been convicted of like being involved in
- 27:49Speaker 1: child porn. Sure, and his argument he wanted to strip
- 27:54Speaker 1: them of their citizenship. And his argument was, this crime
- 27:59Speaker 1: they committed had started before they applied for citizenship, and
- 28:03Speaker 1: they didn't tell us about it when they applied for citizenship,
- 28:07Speaker 1: so they lied on their citizenship application. So now we're
- 28:10Speaker 1: going to take their citizenship and send them back to
- 28:14Speaker 1: whatever country they were from. And almost no one is
- 28:18Speaker 1: going to hear that and go, wait, that's a little extreme,
- 28:22Speaker 1: but it is. It is, especially when you take into
- 28:25Speaker 1: account they had all gone to prison and been punished
- 28:29Speaker 1: for these crimes according to how we punish people in
- 28:33Speaker 1: the United States, and they as citizens, were punished as citizens,
- 28:37Speaker 1: and we used we took this to court and Obama
- 28:41Speaker 1: won and we were able to strip their citizenship and
- 28:44Speaker 1: send them back and no one cared because it was pedophiles.
- 28:47Speaker 1: And then cut to the Trump administration, he uses that
- 28:51Speaker 1: precedent to file a similar lawsuit against this grandmother in
- 28:56Speaker 1: Miami who at one point worked for this company where
- 28:59Speaker 1: the Sea EO pulled off this massive tax fraud and
- 29:03Speaker 1: her only like she was typing up contracts. She didn't
- 29:05Speaker 1: know what she was typing up. She's a fucking secretary, right,
- 29:08Speaker 1: And the FBI is like, look, we could send you
- 29:11Speaker 1: to prison for like ten years just for being here.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Why don't you just take this plea deal and you
- 29:15Speaker 1: won't see any jail time, And she was like whatever,
- 29:18Speaker 1: And she took this plea deal, and then five years
- 29:21Speaker 1: later gets a letter saying, well, that crime he took
- 29:24Speaker 1: the plea deal over started before you applied for citizenship,
- 29:28Speaker 1: and because of that, we're gonna strip your citizenship and
- 29:30Speaker 1: send you back to Guatemala. And this Epstein thing feels
- 29:35Speaker 1: like a little bit like that where it's this feels
- 29:40Speaker 1: to me like it could be the first in a
- 29:43Speaker 1: series of really shady murders where we're like, did the
- 29:47Speaker 1: government do that? Like, did yeah, the government?
- 29:50Speaker 2: I mean anytime that anyone like, that's how it's going
- 29:52Speaker 2: to be now, anytime anyone related to the government dies
- 29:56Speaker 2: basically oh yeah, Like the voices saying like questioning whether
- 30:01Speaker 2: or not the government was involved in these deaths, regardless
- 30:04Speaker 2: of whatever evidence there is, are going to be getting
- 30:06Speaker 2: louder and louder because of this Epstein thing, and they should,
- 30:10Speaker 2: I mean sure, yeah, And it's to an extent, I
- 30:13Speaker 2: guess it's a it's.
- 30:14Speaker 1: A weird way to be because it's like the right
- 30:18Speaker 1: has been on that track for a long time with
- 30:21Speaker 1: the Clinton body count thing, and it's.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Like always in the wrong direction. That's the thing about that, Like,
- 30:26Speaker 2: that's that's what's so crazy about Pizzagate as a conspiracy
- 30:31Speaker 2: theory is that no one wants no one is denying
- 30:34Speaker 2: that there are like wealthy elite pedophile rings. It's all
- 30:40Speaker 2: of the other stuff. It's the details, and it's the
- 30:42Speaker 2: who was involved in all that? Right? That is nonsense. Yeah, Yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 2: it's just uh, there's so much misinformation and it's so
- 30:52Speaker 2: hard to.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah, especially what we did a Pizzagate episode, uh like
- 30:57Speaker 1: a year or so ago, and some of the things
- 31:00Speaker 1: that spread as part of that conspiracy are just so
- 31:04Speaker 1: very obviously false. Like there was what it was like
- 31:08Speaker 1: a picture of They said it was a kill room
- 31:11Speaker 1: in the basement of this pizza place, and it was
- 31:14Speaker 1: like a cooler that this guy used that was down
- 31:16Speaker 1: the street at another restaurant, right, And it's like it's
- 31:20Speaker 1: not like all of the shit was so easy to verify. Yeah,
- 31:24Speaker 1: and I sort of worry that this Epstein thing is
- 31:28Speaker 1: going to make a lot of those Pizzagate types go
- 31:31Speaker 1: see we told you, But they're.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Not even Are they even on? Are the Pizzagate people
- 31:35Speaker 2: on the Epstein thing? It seems like they didn't give
- 31:38Speaker 2: a shit about Epstein.
- 31:40Speaker 1: It feels surprisingly like they're not.
- 31:42Speaker 2: They like I remember when he got arrested, and like
- 31:45Speaker 2: I don't remember seeing a big resurgence of Pizzagate shit.
- 31:48Speaker 2: It seems like he wasn't even on their radar.
- 31:50Speaker 1: That's which is nuts. Yes, it absolutely is nuts.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Because any other person who has heard of Jeffrey Epstein
- 31:57Speaker 2: already knew that he was a fucking crazy.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Pedophile and he's gotta have some texts that matching pizza
- 32:01Speaker 1: out there at least a couple.
- 32:05Speaker 2: He ordered some fucking Dominoes or something where he's in
- 32:08Speaker 2: New York. I guess so he ordered like race, Yeah, probably,
- 32:11Speaker 2: But like it's just it's just so like anything any
- 32:15Speaker 2: conspiracy theory that goes on four Chan is just absolutely nonsense, honestly,
- 32:19Speaker 2: Like you can just ruck completely write it off. Yeah,
- 32:21Speaker 2: I don't think there's any reason to ever Like, nothing
- 32:24Speaker 2: good has ever come off of that website.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yeah, are are there any websites that anything good comes
- 32:30Speaker 1: off of? Very anymore? Because Twitter is bullshit? Twitter is
- 32:33Speaker 1: mostly bullshit, like Twitter now is so much Finally people
- 32:38Speaker 1: on the left are starting to complain about this, but
- 32:41Speaker 1: so much of it is people on the left spending
- 32:44Speaker 1: so much of their day dunking on oh my people
- 32:47Speaker 1: with like thirty and forty followers or obviously Russian bot
- 32:52Speaker 1: for real, and that like, get a fucking life. This
- 32:55Speaker 1: is not a phone game. I have been.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I've unfollowed so many people on the left because of that.
- 33:00Speaker 2: It's not just drives me up the wall. Whenever I
- 33:03Speaker 2: see a dunk then I go to that person's profile
- 33:05Speaker 2: and it's always like forty people or whatever. Yeah, and
- 33:08Speaker 2: it's like there are big Like if you want to
- 33:10Speaker 2: dunk on something, first of all, you should just be screenshotting,
- 33:13Speaker 2: don't be retweeting assholes, right, But like, if you're gonna
- 33:16Speaker 2: dunk on somebody, choose someone who's a who's got a
- 33:19Speaker 2: bunch of followers, you know, shit. I don't up, Like,
- 33:23Speaker 2: I don't reply to anyone saying negative shit to me
- 33:27Speaker 2: unless they have over a thousand followers.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Like I don't give a shit.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Yeah, if someone has under a thousand followers and they're like, oh,
- 33:32Speaker 2: you're fucking ugly, you're stupid, and I'm like, I don't,
- 33:35Speaker 2: you're muted, I don't, I don't care. I don't even
- 33:37Speaker 2: hear you. So it's yeah, like I don't understand. Like,
- 33:40Speaker 2: it's just it's so cheap, it's so easy you're gonna
- 33:43Speaker 2: be able to find anybody like if having any sort
- 33:48Speaker 2: of stupid opinion, Like it's it's just so easy to
- 33:51Speaker 2: cherry pick when there are real things that you can,
- 33:54Speaker 2: like at least make fun of.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so annoying, it Yeah, it really is. Uh
- 34:00Speaker 1: so let's talk about just laying Maxwell. Boy, how has
- 34:03Speaker 1: she not that? That's the other crazy thing about that
- 34:08Speaker 1: plea deal he signed. All of his co conspirators were
- 34:11Speaker 1: given immunity, and anyone named in those documents was given immunity.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Name any other case where that would happen anything, Yeah, anywhere.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I don't know how you can justify being on either
- 34:28Speaker 1: side of the political aisle and being able to stomach
- 34:32Speaker 1: that fucking plea deal that Jeffrey Epstein signed at like
- 34:38Speaker 1: at the blessing of a Trump administration official.
- 34:42Speaker 2: And honestly, if he's gotten all this shit and then
- 34:45Speaker 2: he still kills himself, like what a pussy, Like honestly,
- 34:49Speaker 2: like you've had the easiest jail time that any human
- 34:53Speaker 2: being has ever been through. Like I feel like he
- 34:56Speaker 2: probably could have kept fucking kids in Jake probably like
- 34:59Speaker 2: he's like he had that much power. That's his conjugal visits. Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 2: in some of his slaves. He still owns them technically,
- 35:06Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean you can't. You can't go back
- 35:09Speaker 2: on those contracts.
- 35:10Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. And yeah, this just Laine Maxwell. She
- 35:14Speaker 1: was like she was like the Allison Mack. Yeah, of
- 35:19Speaker 1: like the Alison Mack was the Nexium? Was that her name?
- 35:23Speaker 2: Uh?
- 35:24Speaker 1: The neck? Yes? Was that the Smallville actress's name.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Oh I can't remember that.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but she was the recruiter for that nexium. See. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and that's what this just Laine Maxwell was basically. And
- 35:40Speaker 1: now it seems like the attention has turned to her as.
- 35:44Speaker 2: It should, Yeah a little bit.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and that could be a silver line, not necessarily
- 35:50Speaker 1: a silver lining, but it could be an alternate path
- 35:54Speaker 1: to justice or the victims in this case.
- 35:58Speaker 2: That is the main thing. Like, that's the big takeaway
- 36:02Speaker 2: from his death, is that just completely robs these these
- 36:06Speaker 2: people who have been through horrific things, like unimaginably horrific
- 36:12Speaker 2: in macustances.
- 36:13Speaker 1: That's been my argument this whole time. When I a
- 36:16Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago said we need to be protecting Jeffrey. Yes,
- 36:19Speaker 1: absolutely everything we have, it's because of the victims who
- 36:23Speaker 1: never got justice, victims and deserve him.
- 36:26Speaker 2: To have his day in court. Yeah, that was that's
- 36:29Speaker 2: the thing. And like there's been a few victims who
- 36:32Speaker 2: have released statements and they're heartbreaking to read. Yeah, and
- 36:37Speaker 2: you just know, like it's just heartbreaking to read them
- 36:39Speaker 2: and realize that these people are never going to have closure.
- 36:42Speaker 2: They're never going to find out the truth. Like even
- 36:45Speaker 2: though the concept of finding out the truth was still tenuous.
- 36:50Speaker 2: If he did take the stand, I still reliant on
- 36:53Speaker 2: him telling the truth and telling everything, but like there
- 36:56Speaker 2: would have at least been an attempt at justice instead
- 36:59Speaker 2: of this, which is the definition of a miscarriage of justice.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Yeah, the when he signed that plea deal, the what
- 37:06Speaker 1: he finally pled to was prostitution. Prostitution charges fucking kids. Yeah,
- 37:14Speaker 1: so by that ruling, we're saying, okay, well, thirteen fourteen
- 37:18Speaker 1: year olds, they're competent to enter into the very adult
- 37:21Speaker 1: decision to be a sex worker.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Exactly. That's a that's all above board.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and the victims in this case, it's I mean,
- 37:32Speaker 1: they're girls, they're young girls, but they're also if you
- 37:36Speaker 1: read the details, they were especially vulnerable girl. Yes, they
- 37:41Speaker 1: were girls who had financial issues or immigrants home issues.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And he sought these girls out, yeah, and exploited that.
- 37:50Speaker 2: He's a predator. Yeah, he was a predator. He was
- 37:54Speaker 2: a like, like I've said this before, he's like a
- 37:57Speaker 2: hyper pedophile, like the most he's the most pedophile that
- 38:02Speaker 2: a person could possibly be. Yeah, because he had infinite
- 38:06Speaker 2: money and resources to be a pedophile and he put
- 38:09Speaker 2: those resources into that pursuit. And Yeah, and he was
- 38:13Speaker 2: a total, absolute predator who stalked women and girls and
- 38:20Speaker 2: kept him as slaves. Like it, can't use that word enough,
- 38:24Speaker 2: Like that is what was happening, Yeah, which alone is illegal,
- 38:29Speaker 2: Like literally, even if he wasn't having sex with him,
- 38:32Speaker 2: you can't have slaves.
- 38:33Speaker 1: You can't just keep people. We had a whole war
- 38:36Speaker 1: about it. We've talked about it. Yeah, we have discussed
- 38:39Speaker 1: this as a country. Yeah, so we talked about Trump's
- 38:44Speaker 1: theory that it's the Clintons and this is part of
- 38:48Speaker 1: the Clinton which is body count, which.
- 38:50Speaker 2: A widespread theory on both sides of the aisle, honestly. Yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 2: And like, look, I'm not saying Bill Clinton has nothing
- 38:59Speaker 2: to oh, I mean, like he's a part of this.
- 39:02Speaker 1: If you're out there thinking Bill Clinton did this, trust me,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I get it. Yeah, I.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Understand the line of thinking, even if I don't necessarily
- 39:10Speaker 2: agree with it, Like, I get it, But I would.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Believe this more than the Vince Foster thing. Sure, Like
- 39:17Speaker 1: when you look into the Vince Foster thing, that like
- 39:19Speaker 1: that could go he could have just killed himself to
- 39:23Speaker 1: hide his involvement in that thing like that. But this,
- 39:27Speaker 1: like if we found out Bill Clinton did do this, yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I assume.
- 39:31Speaker 2: If it's like if evidence came out to support that,
- 39:33Speaker 2: then I would not be surprised. But also like, yeah,
- 39:37Speaker 2: he deserves, like Bill Clinton deserves to have his day
- 39:42Speaker 2: and like be brought like he'll.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Get some questions to answer.
- 39:45Speaker 2: But sure, I don't think I don't think he would.
- 39:49Speaker 2: It just seems unlikely that he's directly involved.
- 39:52Speaker 1: There's so in the death of Jeffrey.
- 39:54Speaker 2: I feel like, yeah, exactly, I feel like.
- 39:56Speaker 1: The fucking underage kids, Like, oh yeah, that does not
- 40:02Speaker 1: strike me as outside the Roman possibility.
- 40:04Speaker 2: But like, you know, it's more likely to me that
- 40:07Speaker 2: he just kind of figured that this would happen and
- 40:09Speaker 2: that it would probably take care of. Yeah, he doesn't
- 40:12Speaker 2: seem like a very active person anymore. He's kind of
- 40:15Speaker 2: a lazy guy.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he seems like he's really been out of the
- 40:18Speaker 1: limelight lately. I wonder what that's all about.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Seems like maybe being in this pedophile ring, Maybe might
- 40:25Speaker 2: I want to take a step back. Shouldn't have got
- 40:27Speaker 2: on that plane personally, I would not have.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, how many people hung out with this dude after
- 40:33Speaker 1: rumors of him being a pedophile started circulating.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Literally everyone for the last almost twenty years.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Yeah, like when he was flying you to his sex island.
- 40:42Speaker 1: At no point where you're like, there's not gonna be kids, right, right?
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 40:45Speaker 1: No kids right?
- 40:46Speaker 2: Yeah, no no no no no no no no no.
- 40:50Speaker 1: No no kids this no kids.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Have you heard of a Phoebophelia.
- 40:59Speaker 1: These are just look, we got a la queen who
- 41:01Speaker 1: decided to enter into a life of prostitution. Literally, you
- 41:05Speaker 1: gotta laugh for else she'll just start screaming. Oh yeah,
- 41:08Speaker 1: like otherwise that's the only way to get through this.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Uh So I did mention or I don't know if
- 41:14Speaker 1: I've mentioned Foster the People, the lead singer of the
- 41:18Speaker 1: band I had never heard of that band before. You've
- 41:21Speaker 1: never heard the song pumped Up Kicks? You have, no,
- 41:24Speaker 1: you just don't realize it.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Probably haven't. I'm not gonna I don't listen to the radio,
- 41:29Speaker 2: and I don't like Yeah.
- 41:31Speaker 1: So well, the lead singer I remember reading about this
- 41:34Speaker 1: of that band is adamant that Jeffrey Epstein. Uh his
- 41:41Speaker 1: specific theory is that the pictures we've seen are a
- 41:45Speaker 1: body album. And that's like four.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Chan's theory as well, is where he's getting that. Really,
- 41:50Speaker 2: and the pictures are so stupid. They're so stupid.
- 41:54Speaker 1: The pictures. There's one that shows a nose that looks
- 41:58Speaker 1: sorta different.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and because it looks like a slightly droopier nose
- 42:05Speaker 2: in the app in the dead picture than the alive picture.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Because I don't know if anyone has ever seen a
- 42:11Speaker 2: dead body.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Before, but that happens, you just sag.
- 42:16Speaker 2: All the fluids that are pumping through your body kind
- 42:19Speaker 2: of keeping everything tight and together, droop and sag. You
- 42:24Speaker 2: get weird folds, your nose looks different, your face puffs up, different,
- 42:28Speaker 2: stuff happens. You don't look the same as you were alive,
- 42:32Speaker 2: because you're dead.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It does look like a dead version of Jeffrey Asp It.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Looks exactly like him, and it is a picture of
- 42:39Speaker 2: his dead body. Is that even confirmed?
- 42:41Speaker 1: I don't know. And it's also very different lighting and
- 42:44Speaker 1: people underestimate how much lighting. Absolutely like that could the
- 42:49Speaker 1: lighting could absolutely explain the differences in that nose, absolutely
- 42:54Speaker 1: because you're seeing way more shadows.
- 42:57Speaker 2: The nose thing is so stupid. Yeah, it is like,
- 43:01Speaker 2: even if you agree that it is different, it is
- 43:05Speaker 2: such a slight difference.
- 43:06Speaker 1: And the thing with it being a body double, because
- 43:11Speaker 1: his argument here is that there is a body double
- 43:15Speaker 1: and that Epstein is off somewhere getting plastic surgery and
- 43:18Speaker 1: that he's going to go off and live his life.
- 43:21Speaker 1: That would clearly be a plot that involved the government. Obviously,
- 43:25Speaker 1: why would they need to use a body double?
- 43:27Speaker 2: They wouldn't at all.
- 43:27Speaker 1: You could just put makeup on him to make him
- 43:29Speaker 1: look dead, sure we're not answers of his actual body, or.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Just not take the pictures.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there we go.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Done.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Yeah it some of these tweets, though he is uh
- 43:43Speaker 1: whacked out. It's refreshing to see a celebrity go to
- 43:47Speaker 1: the mat this hard for something, this obviously for a
- 43:52Speaker 1: conspiracy theory. Yeah. I mean, he's got a ton of tweets.
- 43:56Speaker 1: But here we go. And to anyone who considers it
- 44:00Speaker 1: off brand for an artist to talk about social issues,
- 44:03Speaker 1: cover ups and justice, A, you need a history lesson.
- 44:07Speaker 1: B you're scared of what I'm saying. See, my voice
- 44:10Speaker 1: is my brand, whether it's used to speak or sing
- 44:13Speaker 1: what everbody. Yeah, but I do agree with him.
- 44:15Speaker 2: I well, no, I don't disagree that, Like, he has
- 44:18Speaker 2: every right to his opinion. But also, fuck you, you
- 44:21Speaker 2: seem like a real dumbass.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh, here's another tweet. There is no question the
- 44:27Speaker 1: government is behind the Epstein suicide cover up research Attorney
- 44:31Speaker 1: General Bill Barr and his father's ties with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Barr helped broker the West Palm Beach deal that kept
- 44:37Speaker 1: Epstein away from a life sentence in federal prison.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Here's the thing. Anytime someone especially when it comes to
- 44:44Speaker 2: this case, anytime someone is saying there is no question
- 44:48Speaker 2: that this happens, is absolute bullshit because all there is
- 44:52Speaker 2: are questions.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all that exists. I think that's a big
- 44:56Speaker 1: problem in this country right now, is on so many issues,
- 45:00Speaker 1: we want one answer, right, and we will accept what
- 45:03Speaker 1: I feel like. Guns are another really good example where
- 45:06Speaker 1: we're like, don't you bring up mental health. It's definitely
- 45:09Speaker 1: white nationalism, and it's like.
- 45:11Speaker 2: It's both it is to an extent. Yeah, that's It's
- 45:14Speaker 2: so all of these things are fucking tricky and tough, right.
- 45:18Speaker 1: And there's never gonna be one answer.
- 45:21Speaker 2: You can't take a sledgehammer to these things right and
- 45:24Speaker 2: just decide like one thing is responsible. It's always going
- 45:27Speaker 2: to be a mix of things that are responsible, especially
- 45:29Speaker 2: when it comes to Gung.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Even with this, if it if it was some sort
- 45:33Speaker 1: of plot where they smuggled him out of prison using
- 45:36Speaker 1: a body double, that doesn't mean it's nefarious. It could
- 45:39Speaker 1: mean witness protection, Like there's some there. You're right, there's
- 45:43Speaker 1: nothing but question nothing but questions, and there are questions Unfortunately,
- 45:48Speaker 1: we're never gonna get answers.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Never gonna know, We're never ever ever gonna be the
- 45:53Speaker 2: exact answer.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Maybe like fifty two, one hundred years from now, maybe
- 45:57Speaker 1: there's a freedom of information actor quest if we're still
- 46:00Speaker 1: a country, that.
- 46:01Speaker 2: If we're still a country, if the earth, if like
- 46:03Speaker 2: humans still exist on the earth.
- 46:05Speaker 1: If information is still free in this country.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Yeah, if we have, like if we haven't lost every
- 46:11Speaker 2: piece of digital information that we have, which is extremely
- 46:15Speaker 2: possible and not super unlikely because it's all just an
- 46:18Speaker 2: a nebulous cloud that doesn't really exist. Yeah, so uh yeah,
- 46:23Speaker 2: Like I don't know, I don't have any confidence that
- 46:26Speaker 2: we will ever learn the truth of what happened in
- 46:30Speaker 2: this in this case, No, and that's fertile ground. Like
- 46:33Speaker 2: this is truly I think the watershed conspiracy of our time. Yeah,
- 46:37Speaker 2: like I like I I it might not have like
- 46:41Speaker 2: world changing it, you know, it might not have the
- 46:43Speaker 2: world changing impact of like the Kennedy assassination or whatever,
- 46:48Speaker 2: but like it is I think as far as public
- 46:52Speaker 2: consciousness and like how we as a people interact with
- 46:57Speaker 2: each other and with the government, it like is going
- 47:00Speaker 2: to have widespread effects.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and it I think it will have an
- 47:06Speaker 1: impact on the world if it becomes a thing where
- 47:11Speaker 1: all the other people involved in this don't ever face
- 47:14Speaker 1: any justice for what they've done.
- 47:16Speaker 2: And that seems to be another extremely likely outcome. Yeah,
- 47:20Speaker 2: I don't like. It's tough for me. Now that Epstein
- 47:23Speaker 2: is dead and with the immunity deals in place for
- 47:26Speaker 2: his cohorts, it seems extremely unlikely that we're going to
- 47:31Speaker 2: see any of the powerful people who are mentioned as
- 47:34Speaker 2: associating with him being held accountable.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yeah, which is a shame, I think. I think it
- 47:41Speaker 1: still would surprise a lot of people on the right
- 47:44Speaker 1: to know that. I think you and I both would
- 47:47Speaker 1: agree that if Bill Clinton was fucking kids, you should
- 47:50Speaker 1: be in prison, absolutely, Like that's the thing.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Yeah, right. The conservatives are I look, conservatives are so stupid.
- 47:59Speaker 2: I'm not afraid to say this.
- 48:01Speaker 1: If you are, especially on something like that, especially on.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Something like this, but in general because of their philosophy,
- 48:08Speaker 2: they are stupid because of being conservative. That is what
- 48:11Speaker 2: that leads to. They are not willing to think outside
- 48:15Speaker 2: of their own tiny sphere and imagine other possibilities for
- 48:20Speaker 2: right and so they know that if they found out
- 48:24Speaker 2: that a Republican was on the jeffreyoc list. They wouldn't
- 48:28Speaker 2: want anybody to think about that. So they assume that
- 48:31Speaker 2: everyone on the left also wants to protect Bill Clinton,
- 48:35Speaker 2: even though I would say the majority of people on
- 48:37Speaker 2: the left don't give a fuck about Bill Clinton and
- 48:39Speaker 2: would want him to rot in hell. You could take
- 48:42Speaker 2: him down for traffic tickets, like honestly so and like
- 48:47Speaker 2: it's just it's that, I think is the heart that idiocy,
- 48:51Speaker 2: is the heart of conservative hypocrisy in all matters. It's
- 48:56Speaker 2: just that they're stupid. Uh and yeah, and they are
- 48:58Speaker 2: going they do do that thing, or they point fingers
- 49:01Speaker 2: and like, look, Bill Clinton was on the list. Oh
- 49:04Speaker 2: look at that, your guy. Bill Clinton's like, I don't
- 49:06Speaker 2: give a fuck about Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton, take him.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I hope he rots in jail. I hope he abolished prisons.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I hope he just dies. And like we put him
- 49:15Speaker 2: on an island and he or we shoot him in
- 49:17Speaker 2: the space. I don't give him a fuck. Like and
- 49:20Speaker 2: same with Trump. Like the fact that everyone it was
- 49:24Speaker 2: I saw articles so often about Trump's relationship with Jeffrey
- 49:30Speaker 2: Epstein before the election, and the fact that he was
- 49:35Speaker 2: still elected is one of the greatest travesties of our country. Yeah,
- 49:39Speaker 2: it's just.
- 49:40Speaker 1: And the fact that when people would go, well, why
- 49:44Speaker 1: isn't Hillary Clinton bringing that up? And people were like, oh,
- 49:49Speaker 1: because of Bill Clinton, right, and we we just as
- 49:52Speaker 1: a country, were like, all right, well, let's go vote
- 49:55Speaker 1: for one of these two for president then, like, I mean,
- 49:58Speaker 1: he has a country should have just the twenty sixteen election,
- 50:02Speaker 1: we should have refused to go to the fucking polls
- 50:06Speaker 1: as a whole until they gave us two better candidates.
- 50:09Speaker 2: It's just like, God, damn, the whole thing is just
- 50:12Speaker 2: so completely fucked up. I'm just so it makes me
- 50:15Speaker 2: so angry.
- 50:16Speaker 1: It's a real fucking quandary. Yeah, to put it mild, yeah, exactly. So,
- 50:22Speaker 1: Uh who knows what will uh what will come of this?
- 50:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I think it's just gonna disappear.
- 50:29Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's just gonna go away.
- 50:31Speaker 2: It's gonna do exactly what, Like if there was a conspiracy,
- 50:35Speaker 2: it's successful. We already kind of know it's successful because
- 50:38Speaker 2: of how our news cycle works. Yeah, Like, it's so
- 50:43Speaker 2: easy to get away with things if you're powerful. It's
- 50:46Speaker 2: just so easy.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's I think the other thing we definitely
- 50:51Speaker 1: know here is someone got away with something. Yeah. Again,
- 50:56Speaker 1: even if even if it's just a suicide, yeah, and
- 50:58Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein never faced, is the punishment he should He
- 51:01Speaker 1: got away with.
- 51:01Speaker 2: It, exactly. And you know, again, the most generous interpretation
- 51:05Speaker 2: of this is still a damning indictment of our justice
- 51:09Speaker 2: criminal justice system. It's just it should it should be
- 51:13Speaker 2: a wake up call to everyone in this country that,
- 51:16Speaker 2: at the very least, our way of handling criminals is
- 51:21Speaker 2: completely broken.
- 51:22Speaker 1: And I think it goes back to what I said
- 51:26Speaker 1: earlier about how we use pedophiles to test our most
- 51:30Speaker 1: extreme forms of justice. How many people did you hear
- 51:34Speaker 1: after this news came out who were like, well, if
- 51:37Speaker 1: he was murdered, that's just kind of what happens to
- 51:39Speaker 1: pedophiles in prison. And it's easy to hear that kind
- 51:43Speaker 1: of thing and go ah, yeah, right, fuck pedophiles. But
- 51:46Speaker 1: that's not how prison's supposed to work. Like, you're not,
- 51:50Speaker 1: you don't like, that's not how it fucking works.
- 51:55Speaker 2: We are supposed to be rehabilitating criminals, right and making
- 51:59Speaker 2: the productive members of society. That is why the again,
- 52:03Speaker 2: that is the fundamental failing of our of our system
- 52:06Speaker 2: is that we don't do that. We don't even try.
- 52:08Speaker 2: We try. We are a punitive system where all we
- 52:11Speaker 2: try to do is make people's lives as miserable as possible,
- 52:15Speaker 2: which is not an effective way of handling crime.
- 52:19Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 52:20Speaker 2: It's a it's not a deterrent. No, it's never been
- 52:23Speaker 2: a deterrent.
- 52:24Speaker 1: We've and we should know that by now because our
- 52:26Speaker 1: prisons are just jam packed.
- 52:27Speaker 2: We should, but we don't.
- 52:29Speaker 1: We sure don't.
- 52:31Speaker 2: So yeah, it's just it's all completely fucked up.
- 52:34Speaker 1: It sure is. Good luck America. Is that this show?
- 52:40Speaker 1: Rest in peace? Good luck America, Rest in peace America.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Yeah for real, that's why the show went away.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yeah, no America to talk about it. So that's our episode.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Either next week or the week after, there will be
- 52:55Speaker 1: another episode where Olivia and I talk about Trump's twenty
- 53:00Speaker 1: three favorite conspiracy theories. It's gonna be a blast based
- 53:04Speaker 1: on an article the Washington Post put out. We're gonna
- 53:07Speaker 1: go through them all.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my god. It's gonna be exhaustive and exhausting.
- 53:13Speaker 1: And also, either next week or the following week, my
- 53:17Speaker 1: interview with John Potash will be out and that is
- 53:21Speaker 1: an interesting, interesting interview. That guy worked in Baltimore when
- 53:27Speaker 1: the crack epidemic started. He worked in Baltimore as a
- 53:30Speaker 1: drug addiction council.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Wow. Wow, that's man, that's a hardcore job.
- 53:35Speaker 1: That's that's kind of like having gone to war. Yeah lately. So,
- 53:40Speaker 1: I mean, like people underestimate what the crack epidemic was
- 53:44Speaker 1: like when it first kicked off. Oh my god.
- 53:46Speaker 2: I mean I obviously don't know because I wasn't Wow,
- 53:50Speaker 2: Like I was heard about it of age.
- 53:52Speaker 1: And I grew up in a town called Peoria, Illinois,
- 53:55Speaker 1: which is about two hours southwest of Chicago. It's right
- 54:00Speaker 1: in the middle of Illinois, yep. And I always describe
- 54:02Speaker 1: it as all the crime and poverty of Chicago with
- 54:05Speaker 1: none of the nightlife.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and that pretty much describes any of the southern
- 54:10Speaker 2: suburbs I've lived there.
- 54:11Speaker 1: And it really became that when the crack epidemic started,
- 54:15Speaker 1: like like that, that shit reached everywhere. It was fucking intense.
- 54:20Speaker 1: So be on the lookout for that episode too.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:23Speaker 1: And uh, until then, what do we got the plug? Uh?
- 54:26Speaker 2: You can find me on Twitter at high there hind
- 54:28Speaker 2: R and I have a podcast on the up pops
- 54:31Speaker 2: network called Lowest Common Phenomenator. Uh, my coast is extremely
- 54:35Speaker 2: busy and so our our schedule is a little erratic.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Uh and uh we were having to take sick leave
- 54:41Speaker 2: this week, but next week we're going to be coming back.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Uh and yeah, it's a lot of fun. You can
- 54:47Speaker 2: find that on Twitter at low comfinum and also on
- 54:50Speaker 2: uh you know, iTunes and stitcher and SoundCloud, all that shit,
- 54:55Speaker 2: all the places checking.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Out and uh, subscribe on Patreon, patreon dot com, slash
- 55:01Speaker 1: on pops you get bonus episodes of Conspiracy Show. I'm
- 55:05Speaker 1: working on a new subscription option because Patreon is trash,
- 55:09Speaker 1: but we're getting there. Who knows. Yeah, all right, let's
- 55:13Speaker 1: get the fuck out of here. Olivia say goodbye bye,
- 55:17Speaker 1: goodbye everybody. We love you.
