- 0:06Speaker 1: his new album out really show tomorrow in La. Socket
- 0:09Speaker 1: to my pocket streets. Yes, sir, it's a dizzle. Welcome man,
- 0:14Speaker 1: welcome back, I should say.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Man, thank you for having me.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's hot as hell in l A right now.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, it is, but you know I'm bringing
- 0:24Speaker 2: more heat.
- 0:25Speaker 1: So these glasses were wearing are crazy, but these cartiers
- 0:28Speaker 1: are insane, Like these are vintage or how you get
- 0:31Speaker 1: these glasses. These glasses are crazy.
- 0:33Speaker 3: They got like dropped the bag if you want to swag.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Yeah, those glasses look like they're like five thousand dollars
- 0:41Speaker 1: for sure. Close close anyway, Man, Socket to my pocket Man,
- 0:46Speaker 1: the new album is out right now.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yeah, hell yeah Man. I'm excited. Man.
- 0:50Speaker 3: It's a lot of great, great feedback I've been getting
- 0:53Speaker 3: from it. You know what I'm saying, I'm more famous
- 0:56Speaker 3: now than I was since I dropped it. I'm not
- 0:57Speaker 3: gonna lie.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I feel like every like couple months, I see some
- 1:03Speaker 1: new shit where somebody new will find you, you know
- 1:05Speaker 1: what I'm saying, or somebody who will hosts you. It's
- 1:08Speaker 1: like you're bringing everybody to the party, like you know,
- 1:11Speaker 1: it's been a grind, but it's it's been working, bro,
- 1:14Speaker 1: It's always been up up uphill.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I feel like all all them years of hard work,
- 1:20Speaker 3: eventually they start, like, you know, all the work you
- 1:24Speaker 3: put in just start to come to fruition. Like go
- 1:27Speaker 3: to seeds you planted years ago. They just one minute
- 1:31Speaker 3: it's dirt and then you turn around it's a big
- 1:33Speaker 3: ass tree.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Oh shit, what year was it? Would you say? Because
- 1:37Speaker 1: obviously you've been grinding on the ndccene for a long time,
- 1:40Speaker 1: but before we knew that name, before we knew Rome Streets,
- 1:43Speaker 1: what was the first kind of like year that you
- 1:45Speaker 1: kind of took rap serious or you was like, you
- 1:47Speaker 1: know what, I'm gonna actually apply myself to this shit.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I would say, like like twenty eighteen, Okay, like you know,
- 1:59Speaker 3: like seventeen, twenty eighteen. So when it started to really
- 2:03Speaker 3: make sense for me, like people was actually spending money
- 2:07Speaker 3: on my music, like buying downloads, right, yeah, buying also
- 2:12Speaker 3: like buying vinyls and fucking cassette tapes and CDs, Like,
- 2:17Speaker 3: oh shit, I could sell a CD for fifty dollars.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Was there anybody who kind of just started to go
- 2:23Speaker 1: for me? Because I kind of feel like back then,
- 2:24Speaker 1: like the whole vinyl wave was like I would say,
- 2:28Speaker 1: like in it's like infancy stage right, you had like
- 2:31Speaker 1: the Griselda guys doing the vinyl and the hard copies.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Like who was it that kind of showed you the
- 2:35Speaker 1: way in terms of like turning your fan base into dollars.
- 2:39Speaker 3: It wasn't really just someone actually showed me. I was
- 2:43Speaker 3: just observing, you know what I'm saying, Like I seen
- 2:46Speaker 3: what was going on, and I was like, you know what,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I want to be involved in that. So I just
- 2:52Speaker 3: you know, started figuring out ways to put myself in
- 2:58Speaker 3: in the middle of her we king because I was
- 3:01Speaker 3: from the outside looking in. And then I just figured
- 3:05Speaker 3: it out, like I just started putting our music. And
- 3:08Speaker 3: then you know, the labels that was doing the vinyl
- 3:11Speaker 3: deals for the other artists, they just started reaching out
- 3:13Speaker 3: to me like.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yo, I want to do something.
- 3:15Speaker 3: But at first, I can honestly say, at first, before
- 3:19Speaker 3: I ever got a real vinyl deal for real, I
- 3:21Speaker 3: think I just invested my own money into it. It's like,
- 3:25Speaker 3: you know, I'm impressed up my own ship. I did
- 3:27Speaker 3: my research and flip it. Yeah, and flipped it. I
- 3:31Speaker 3: fucked up the first time because I didn't really understand
- 3:35Speaker 3: the whole concept of like worldwide shipping. I charged everybody
- 3:40Speaker 3: the same shipping price, right.
- 3:42Speaker 1: So if someone bought some like you're up, you're like.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Seven dollars for shipping, and Nigga ordered something from fucking
- 3:50Speaker 3: Bulgaria and now, of course thirty dollars to me to ship.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It there, then you're upside down on that piece of Yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 3: So you know, like it was a learning process, but
- 3:59Speaker 3: I had to. I had to go through that, so
- 4:02Speaker 3: you know, I can't really complain, But no one actually
- 4:06Speaker 3: sat me down and showed me how to do this shit.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I just seen it, like, Okay, he's motherfucker selling their
- 4:11Speaker 3: music on this website.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So let me actually make a.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Page on this site and then put my music up there,
- 4:19Speaker 3: and then see if I have five thousand followers at
- 4:23Speaker 3: this time, let me see how many of them are
- 4:26Speaker 3: actually just casual fans and how many people is die
- 4:29Speaker 3: hard gonna support this? You're in the same thing, because
- 4:32Speaker 3: I feel like putting your product up for sales gonna
- 4:34Speaker 3: separate your fan base, is gonna.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Show you who's really really really fucking with.
- 4:39Speaker 3: You, yeah, and who's just you know, what I mean,
- 4:42Speaker 3: They're just gonna click and watch it for two seconds.
- 4:44Speaker 3: So once I did that, I think it was when
- 4:46Speaker 3: I put out Street Pharmacy. I put it on my
- 4:49Speaker 3: band camp page and then people started buying that shit,
- 4:52Speaker 3: and then from there I was like, oh, yeah, I'm
- 4:55Speaker 3: a rapper. Now people actually spend money from my wraps.
- 4:58Speaker 1: So yeah, the fact shout out to the band camp.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, band Camp, listen.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Man, first twenty bands I've seen off music was from
- 5:05Speaker 3: band camp and I never looked back.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That's beautiful. It's crazy too, because I'm sure like during
- 5:10Speaker 1: that time, you're trying to navigate, like, well that record
- 5:13Speaker 1: obviously everything was produced by Farmer Beats. But you know
- 5:18Speaker 1: what I always tell artists, the hardest shit is to
- 5:20Speaker 1: when you're an independent artist, you put an album out,
- 5:23Speaker 1: trying to figure out because you know, so many people
- 5:24Speaker 1: get shit off YouTube, trying to take care of all
- 5:27Speaker 1: the producers get shit signed off on what I'm saying.
- 5:31Speaker 1: That's that shit they don't talk about, you know.
- 5:33Speaker 3: But see, like I feel like at that point in
- 5:35Speaker 3: time in my career, people was just like eager to
- 5:41Speaker 3: work with me, just as.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Bad as I wanted to work with them.
- 5:44Speaker 3: So it's like a lot of the i mean the
- 5:46Speaker 3: behind the scenes, back door shit that was going on,
- 5:49Speaker 3: I wasn't even really involved in it, Like with Farmer Beats,
- 5:52Speaker 3: Like my whole ideology behind that was like, Okay, me
- 5:56Speaker 3: being from New York, how will I extend my fan
- 6:00Speaker 3: base if I work with people from New York that
- 6:03Speaker 3: ain't really big like you. I mean, I'm not big,
- 6:06Speaker 3: so most of the people in my peer group they're
- 6:08Speaker 3: not really that big either. So it's like if I'm
- 6:10Speaker 3: always working with them, I'm not really going.
- 6:12Speaker 2: To get further. You're exposing myself a new audience.
- 6:17Speaker 3: So it's like, at that particular time, I was like,
- 6:19Speaker 3: you know what, let me just try to work with
- 6:21Speaker 3: it all. Like all my producers that I was working
- 6:24Speaker 3: with from different regions, whether it's from Canada or from London,
- 6:27Speaker 3: whether it's from freaking la. Like, I was always trying
- 6:30Speaker 3: to work with people that weren't from where I was from,
- 6:33Speaker 3: so my sounds can be where they at, you know
- 6:36Speaker 3: what I'm saying, Because everybody got fans.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think too. I Mean, you did such
- 6:40Speaker 1: a good job of like collaborating with producers on albums,
- 6:43Speaker 1: which whether it's Mugs.
- 6:46Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:46Speaker 1: The Mugs altum was crazy.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Because it's like I had a thought like, yeah, at
- 6:50Speaker 3: that particular time, there's a lot of rappers that I
- 6:52Speaker 3: wanted to work with, but I'm like, one, I don't
- 6:54Speaker 3: know them too.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I'm not paying them thousands of dollars to rap.
- 6:58Speaker 3: So at the end of the day, the producers want
- 7:01Speaker 3: to work with me, they're gonna get me free. They
- 7:03Speaker 3: just want to send me beats all day. Like, yo,
- 7:05Speaker 3: I don't want no money, just put the music out.
- 7:07Speaker 3: You understand saying it was easier for me to collab
- 7:09Speaker 3: with producers at that particular time, that makes the busiest. Yeah,
- 7:13Speaker 3: and it was easier. And it's like, you know, producers
- 7:17Speaker 3: got a lot of fans, so that kind of just
- 7:21Speaker 3: opened up a lot of doors for me just collabing
- 7:23Speaker 3: with producers. Once I got in with Mugs, it's like
- 7:26Speaker 3: that's when shit started to change for real, for real,
- 7:28Speaker 3: for real.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like when you can do an album
- 7:30Speaker 1: because I feel like Mugs is very careful about who
- 7:33Speaker 1: he works with. It's never about numbers, it's never about clout,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it's about fit. So when Mugs does some shit, whether
- 7:39Speaker 1: it's with TF whether it's with you Mayhem, Loran or whoever,
- 7:42Speaker 1: it's it's a co sign that really means something.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Of course, because anytime Mugs really does something with an artist,
- 7:49Speaker 3: it's like a passion play. You understand I'm saying, Like
- 7:52Speaker 3: he's not really stressing for money, like he he's rich
- 7:56Speaker 3: forever all for jump around, right, you.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Understand I can sell all that shit.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yeah, So it's like if he does something, it's because
- 8:03Speaker 3: he genuinely wants to fuck with it, like it's a
- 8:05Speaker 3: passion play.
- 8:06Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 8:07Speaker 3: He's not gonna work with everybody. He has to really
- 8:10Speaker 3: really like enjoy what you do. So me being able
- 8:13Speaker 3: to work with Mugs is just like an honor, you
- 8:15Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. But yeah, once I got in
- 8:17Speaker 3: with Mugs, that's when like I broke through the next
- 8:21Speaker 3: level of this ship, you know.
- 8:23Speaker 2: What I'm saying. Then I got with Griselda, that was
- 8:24Speaker 2: a whole other level, whole other thing, mister mass A pill,
- 8:27Speaker 2: It's a whole other level.
- 8:28Speaker 3: So it's like I'm just grateful that I'm able to
- 8:31Speaker 3: move up the ladder, Like how I am?
- 8:33Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 8:34Speaker 1: When you do that I mean, because this is your
- 8:36Speaker 1: is it your second or third release with Mass.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Appeal, It's my second trainspotting with Conductor. It's like a collapse,
- 8:42Speaker 3: say my first solo.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Are you able to get any like feedback from Nas
- 8:47Speaker 1: on the album or does he tap in.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Like yeah, he fucks with it? Yeah?
- 8:51Speaker 3: I see Nahs like you know, whenever I do run
- 8:54Speaker 3: into him, he always be saying some fly shit to me.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So he is he like a sincere and where he
- 9:01Speaker 1: he'll just drop like two sentences on you to just
- 9:03Speaker 1: stick with what you like you need to go.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I feel like, just for me knowing Nas, I don't
- 9:09Speaker 3: feel like he was really acting out a character on
- 9:13Speaker 3: Belly Yeah, but then when I do speak to him,
- 9:17Speaker 3: it's not like two words right right, he really expressing himself.
- 9:22Speaker 2: So do you.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Feel like it's funny because you always here like Codway
- 9:26Speaker 1: and those guys always talking about how they'll never ask
- 9:27Speaker 1: Jay for a feature even though they were with rock Nation.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I mean, you feel like Yo for a record acts
- 9:34Speaker 3: Nas for features already, you know, but it's it's all
- 9:39Speaker 3: about timing. You get what I'm saying, And I feel like,
- 9:43Speaker 3: personally this is just me the longer it takes for
- 9:48Speaker 3: me to get on a song with NAS the better
- 9:53Speaker 3: artists summer be yeah, because like my whole thing is,
- 9:56Speaker 3: I'm not really comfortable, like motherfuckers might be like yo, mom,
- 10:00Speaker 3: you nice you to, but I feel like I can
- 10:02Speaker 3: always be better. It's always like something I could do
- 10:05Speaker 3: to improve my artistry my MCN. So it's like, if
- 10:10Speaker 3: I do a song when NAS tomorrow is gonna be good.
- 10:13Speaker 3: But if I do a song with NAS next year,
- 10:15Speaker 3: I'd be a much better at MC next.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Year than I am today.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Truth.
- 10:19Speaker 3: It's like and me, I'm not really rushing it, but
- 10:22Speaker 3: I would love to do something.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Like when it happens, it's gonna be yeah the right time.
- 10:26Speaker 3: One thing about me like I don't really force things,
- 10:31Speaker 3: Like things just happen when they're supposed to happen, you
- 10:34Speaker 3: know what I'm saying with me, Like I just believe
- 10:36Speaker 3: in like divine timing not you know what I'm saying.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So that's my whole shit pool.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You already know, baby are family at odd Socks. They

- 12:11Speaker 1: ninety meg Shrooms. Yes, sir, what's the worst shroom trip
- 12:15Speaker 1: you've ever had? Room Street?
- 12:17Speaker 3: The worst shroom trip I ever had was in two
- 12:21Speaker 3: thousand and fourteen, maybe fifteen, might be sixteen, whatever year.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Tyler the Creative performed that afropunk quick story. My homeboy
- 12:31Speaker 3: mailed me a box of stuff from out here, mailed
- 12:35Speaker 3: it to New York.
- 12:36Speaker 2: A bunch of shit. We bunch of shit. So I
- 12:38Speaker 2: pulled out a TUTSI roll.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Thought it was a weed edible ate the shit like
- 12:43Speaker 3: this shit tastes like shit?
- 12:45Speaker 2: What the hell was this? I ate it? But then
- 12:48Speaker 2: I spit it out through it in the garbage. I'm like,
- 12:50Speaker 2: it'hit nasty.
- 12:51Speaker 3: So now I'm waiting for a cab to go to
- 12:54Speaker 3: the festival. So while I'm sitting there outside, I started
- 12:58Speaker 3: feeling mad dizzy. I'm like, oh shit, what the fuck
- 13:01Speaker 3: is going on? So I told my Girl'm like, yo,
- 13:04Speaker 3: go to the store, give me something to drink. By
- 13:06Speaker 3: the time she came back from the store, I'm like, oh,
- 13:08Speaker 3: shitting on the fucking stoopid feeling retarded, right, And then
- 13:13Speaker 3: the cab came. So in the midst of the cab,
- 13:15Speaker 3: I'm calling my friend, I'm like, Yo, what the fuck
- 13:16Speaker 3: was that?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Bro? He's like, Yo, what you mean. I'm like, Yo,
- 13:18Speaker 2: what was that? Tutsi roll? But that shit was discussing.
- 13:21Speaker 3: He was like, please tell me he didn't eat the
- 13:22Speaker 3: whole shit. I'm like, nah, Like I ate like a
- 13:25Speaker 3: quarter of it. He's like a bo That's like, that's
- 13:28Speaker 3: that's shrooms. But it's like a that tootsi roll is
- 13:31Speaker 3: like thirty doses, so you're only supposed to eat a
- 13:33Speaker 3: little bit.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'm like, God, I ate a chunk of that shit.
- 13:36Speaker 3: As soon as he said that, it was raining, Like
- 13:39Speaker 3: everything just started melting. Like I seen the fucking the
- 13:43Speaker 3: rain drops like splashing off the fucking the windshield of
- 13:47Speaker 3: the car. I'm like, oh shit, this shit is crazy.
- 13:50Speaker 3: So I'm like, all right, I'm tripping on shrooms.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Now. So now I go to the fucking festival. The
- 13:55Speaker 2: line is like a mile long.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Oh that's the worst.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I walked past everybody. I didn't have a ticket. I
- 14:02Speaker 3: got in somehow. I just walked past the line and
- 14:05Speaker 3: walked right in. Like the nigga didn't even ask me
- 14:07Speaker 3: for a ticket.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I just went right in.
- 14:08Speaker 3: So now I'm inside, and shit, we smoking bomb smoking weed.
- 14:14Speaker 3: They sell nutcrackers at this festival. Nutcrackers like a New
- 14:17Speaker 3: York drinker. It's like mad different liquor mixed. So I
- 14:20Speaker 3: drank that shit. Nobody told me that you're not really
- 14:23Speaker 3: supposed to mix liquor and shroom.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah the crossfade man boy.
- 14:26Speaker 3: So now, and mind you, it's like a festivals, all
- 14:30Speaker 3: sorts of people. There's all sorts of random people. People
- 14:34Speaker 3: faces is melting, morphing, everybody got mans on. I'm like,
- 14:37Speaker 3: oh shit, what the fuck is going on? And mind you,
- 14:39Speaker 3: I did psychedelics before, so I wasn't really too off
- 14:42Speaker 3: my kilt, but like, I was drinking a lot and
- 14:47Speaker 3: I didn't really know that you can't mix alcohol with shrooms.
- 14:50Speaker 3: So now we're in the spot. It's like a marsh pit.
- 14:53Speaker 3: I'm in the middle of a marsh pit Tyler the
- 14:55Speaker 3: creators on stage. He sounds like fucking satan. I'm like, yo,
- 14:58Speaker 3: what the fuck? And and I'm just like, yo, I
- 15:01Speaker 3: can't stand up, like I gotta get the fuck out
- 15:03Speaker 3: of here.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I was in the middle of the crowds. Too much energy.
- 15:07Speaker 3: So then I'm like, yo, I gotta somehow. I find
- 15:09Speaker 3: myself laying on the side of a fence. I'm like, go,
- 15:12Speaker 3: I gotta sit down, like and then I see like
- 15:14Speaker 3: one of my homeboys for my old building.
- 15:16Speaker 2: He's like, go wrong, I ain't seen you from that long, son,
- 15:18Speaker 2: what's good. I'm like, bro, now not now. So I'm
- 15:23Speaker 2: laying on the fence.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm sitting down, and mind you, it's like
- 15:26Speaker 3: a fuck like think about like somebody in the middle
- 15:29Speaker 3: were rolling loud, just sitting down on the gate. I'm like, nah,
- 15:33Speaker 3: like yo, I gotta sit the fuck down. So then
- 15:35Speaker 3: I'm like you know what, mind you. I'm sitting there
- 15:39Speaker 3: just trying.
- 15:39Speaker 2: To get my bearings together.
- 15:40Speaker 3: My girls in the Marsten like, I'm like, oh, I'm
- 15:44Speaker 3: over here dying and you don't give no fucks about me.
- 15:47Speaker 3: So then I go somehow I get energy.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I go grabble like, let's get the fuck out here.
- 15:53Speaker 2: I'm like, what's wrong. I'm like, you don't give a
- 15:55Speaker 2: fuck about me. I'm dying.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'm over here tripping balls.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Next thing I know, motherfuckers is like, yo, don't walter
- 16:03Speaker 3: on me and ship.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I'm like, what the fun going on? I was like, nigga,
- 16:05Speaker 2: get passed ou. I'm like, oh, now I got to
- 16:07Speaker 2: get the fuck up out of here, you know what
- 16:09Speaker 2: I mean? And mind you.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I'm not like Rome Street, but I'm still roam streets
- 16:13Speaker 3: like mad. People knew who the fuck I was. Before
- 16:16Speaker 3: I was like a famous raper. I was still like
- 16:17Speaker 3: a popular persons niggas. It's like, yo, got you got,
- 16:21Speaker 3: I gotta get the fuck out of here. So then
- 16:24Speaker 3: after that, like my girl start arguing and ship and I'm.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Like, nah, bro, I can't do that.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Was that your last time?
- 16:32Speaker 2: No? Hell no, that was that.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Was the worst time I ever did it because I
- 16:38Speaker 3: didn't know I was on shrooms.
- 16:40Speaker 1: If you're not anticipating candy, yeah.
- 16:43Speaker 3: So then the funny thing is I told one of
- 16:46Speaker 3: my homeboys about this ship.
- 16:47Speaker 2: He's like, yo, you still got that ship. I'm like, yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 2: that ship in the garbage in my crib. He's like, yo,
- 16:53Speaker 2: let me get that. Like I literally took that ship
- 16:56Speaker 2: out the garbage and gave me.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Tell me, I've never been so high because like I've
- 17:00Speaker 1: gotten to the point where I'm eating either too much
- 17:02Speaker 1: weed or too much shrooms, and I'm around people and
- 17:06Speaker 1: I can like hone in on conversations from across the room.
- 17:10Speaker 1: It's like it it turns you and it gives you
- 17:12Speaker 1: superhero sensus low Ki that not on shrooms.
- 17:15Speaker 2: For me.
- 17:15Speaker 3: That's like if I do fucking acid, I used to
- 17:18Speaker 3: fuck with I used to fuck with tabs and shit.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah, to fuck with acid.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Would you like put them in your fitted or to
- 17:25Speaker 1: eat them?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Shit? Yeah, but.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I would say, yeah, I've I've seen some crazy shit
- 17:32Speaker 3: on acid. Bro, I've seen a nigga with ten eyes. Damn,
- 17:35Speaker 3: I see a nigga with ten rows of eyes.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Like, I'm Tripp. Did you talk to them? Nah? Nah?
- 17:43Speaker 2: I was. It's so crazy.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I was in the club and that day was just wild,
- 17:47Speaker 3: Like I was just because I don't know, like once
- 17:51Speaker 3: you do psychedelics, like the first time, like I have
- 17:54Speaker 3: a hot tolerance to everything, Like right the first.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Time I did it, didn't even do nothing to me.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So it's like, yeah, I've done.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Acid, grinding your teeth didn't do nothing. I had to
- 18:05Speaker 3: take two of them shits to feel it. So it's
- 18:07Speaker 3: like the first time I did askid, I'm like, oh,
- 18:10Speaker 3: this shit is ill, Like it's lit, right, because I
- 18:13Speaker 3: used to sell that shit before, like I ever did it,
- 18:16Speaker 3: so I used to sell it to people and shit,
- 18:17Speaker 3: but I used to be shook to take it. So
- 18:18Speaker 3: the first time I took it, I was like, Okay,
- 18:20Speaker 3: it's lit. But then after a while I was like,
- 18:22Speaker 3: all right, I'm cool, I can navigate this. Let me
- 18:24Speaker 3: try to take two now. Because I remember one time
- 18:27Speaker 3: I knew this guy right, he never did acid before,
- 18:31Speaker 3: and he came to me. He's like, y'all want to
- 18:32Speaker 3: buy a strip. It's like how many tabs is in
- 18:34Speaker 3: a strip? I'm like ten. And these are times I
- 18:39Speaker 3: was selling them shits. It was just like one long
- 18:40Speaker 3: ass line. It wasn't like divided up, so like he
- 18:43Speaker 3: just cut it in half and ate the whole shit,
- 18:46Speaker 3: put the whole strip.
- 18:47Speaker 2: In his mouth. I was like, oh shit, I'm like, yo,
- 18:48Speaker 2: you ever did this before? He's like nah. I'm like, wow, I.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Might go this Nigga did like eight tabs at one time. Nah,
- 18:56Speaker 3: he was tripping balls. I got a whole nother story
- 18:59Speaker 3: about what he's like today, but.
- 19:01Speaker 1: That he's like ever since that day, he's never been
- 19:03Speaker 1: the same.
- 19:04Speaker 2: He hasn't. But I'm like, you know what, fuck it.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Like I used to just try to like level myself
- 19:10Speaker 3: up with tripping.
- 19:11Speaker 2: So one day, like throughout the day, we're just.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Eating them shits half at the time, hole one, and
- 19:16Speaker 3: by that time I probably was on like three and
- 19:18Speaker 3: a half.
- 19:19Speaker 2: We went to a club. Now we're chilling in the club.
- 19:22Speaker 3: And then like I was cool, and then all of
- 19:25Speaker 3: a sudden, that shit just kicked in out of nowhere.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Like I was just having a conversation.
- 19:30Speaker 3: And then all of a sudden, it was like this
- 19:32Speaker 3: shit was like it looked like Chinese wallpaper, Like this
- 19:37Speaker 3: spot that was in it looked like a Chinese restaurant.
- 19:39Speaker 2: So I'm sitting at the table having a conversation blah.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Blah blah blah blah blah, and at the corner of
- 19:44Speaker 3: my eye, the wall just starts like moving, like you know,
- 19:48Speaker 3: like when it's mad windy and is a flag.
- 19:50Speaker 2: The flag is just like everywhere that's what the wall
- 19:54Speaker 2: was looking like. So I'm like, oh shit, so we
- 19:58Speaker 2: having a conversation. I'm like, oh, Ship, the wall looks
- 20:01Speaker 2: fucking crazy.
- 20:02Speaker 3: So then I started looking around and there's a guy
- 20:04Speaker 3: in the party dancing and ship and then like you know.
- 20:09Speaker 2: It's mad Trails.
- 20:10Speaker 3: So like he's moving his head to the music and
- 20:13Speaker 3: his fucking eyes just shot up to the ceiling.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, tripping balls.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Like yeah, So that was probably the funniest time I
- 20:22Speaker 3: ever tripped.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I had a time man where I Ate
- 20:27Speaker 1: uh Me and Freddi Gibbs were in Austin, Texas, and
- 20:30Speaker 1: we split a chocolate bar with Rogan and uh every
- 20:36Speaker 1: we ended up partying on six and everyone's faces looked
- 20:41Speaker 1: like you know, remember on cops faced to have their face.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Everybody had blurred faces.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yo, that's crazy, it was.
- 20:49Speaker 1: But they're not could. But the thing is, I don't
- 20:51Speaker 1: think people understand when you do psychedelics, or even if
- 20:53Speaker 1: you eat a lot of weed it for whatever reason,
- 20:56Speaker 1: you could turn into a superhero dog. Because I'm being
- 20:59Speaker 1: a mother fucking concert one hundred yards away. I could
- 21:02Speaker 1: look at some of the bar and listen.
- 21:03Speaker 3: To their whole sh or you could like manifest shit.
- 21:06Speaker 3: You could think of something and then it just happened
- 21:08Speaker 3: right from Like, yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Trust me, it's fucking crazy. It's so crazy, you said Austin.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I feel like every rapper has a crazy ass. I
- 21:16Speaker 3: got super lit in Austin. I remember the first time
- 21:20Speaker 3: I went to Austin, right south south By.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, he was all chilling in this house.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It was like his mansions. A bunch of rappers in
- 21:26Speaker 3: the crab were just chilling. This one dude he came through.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I had man weed and shit, Yo, this snigger came through.
- 21:33Speaker 3: He had big ass e pills and shit looked like fucking.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Like fucking peanut minem.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like some big stupid shits, yo. Like what the fuck?
- 21:42Speaker 2: He giving them ships out there, you bob, you know
- 21:44Speaker 2: what the fuck I'm gonna take one. Bro.
- 21:46Speaker 3: We was so geeked, like we was literally running around
- 21:49Speaker 3: south By, just running in different places, snatching the mic
- 21:53Speaker 3: and just rapping.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Not even booked to perform, like we did fifteen shit, we.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Did fifteen shows in one thing.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Hey, we just run this pile like, yeah, we wrapp
- 22:01Speaker 3: It's like world, give you the mic hits the flat.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Drive, yo. That shit was mad fun like Austin is fun.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Like I could say, have you ever been to the
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yellow Rose?
- 22:08Speaker 4: There?
- 22:08Speaker 1: The Red Rose? Those are the strip clubs?
- 22:11Speaker 3: Actually, no matter of fact, we went to a strip
- 22:15Speaker 3: club in Dallas. We drove from Austin to Dallas and
- 22:18Speaker 3: went to some random strip club. It was lit, but
- 22:20Speaker 3: it looked like somebody's house.
- 22:22Speaker 1: No, in Austin, it is like those are the two man,
- 22:27Speaker 1: You're like run into like some random comedian and you'd
- 22:29Speaker 1: be like, why the fuck is Tony Hinchcliff making it
- 22:31Speaker 1: rain three in the morning at the Yellow Rose?
- 22:34Speaker 2: What the fuck is Austin is lit? Man?
- 22:36Speaker 3: I would tell any artists you know, when you come up,
- 22:40Speaker 3: if you can go to south By, just go.
- 22:43Speaker 2: You're gonna enjoy that.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Obviously, this album I'm sure has been because you've been
- 22:47Speaker 1: working on so many collab projects. But I'm sure you'll
- 22:50Speaker 1: get in and said, what's kind of been the timeline
- 22:53Speaker 1: of you working on Soccer? To my pocket, I.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Probably started it in November and finished it in February,
- 23:02Speaker 3: but it's like a lot of fine tuning that went
- 23:06Speaker 3: into it. I feel like it was more months of
- 23:08Speaker 3: fine tuning this album. Getting everything It was like rapping
- 23:12Speaker 3: and recording. You know what I'm saying, because it's like
- 23:15Speaker 3: I always have leftover songs from the last album, right,
- 23:18Speaker 3: so you know, I like, I'll start off with a
- 23:21Speaker 3: batch of songs that I already did in the playlist
- 23:24Speaker 3: and it's like, okay, let's make more, and as I
- 23:27Speaker 3: make more of those original.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Songs, I'm moving all the way down to the end.
- 23:31Speaker 2: So it's like, with this shit I probably made, I
- 23:32Speaker 2: probably had.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Like twenty five to thirty songs, so it's just trying
- 23:36Speaker 3: to but I liked all of them, like so something.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I really liked all of them, so it's hard to pick.
- 23:41Speaker 3: But it's like, all right, I love this song, but
- 23:44Speaker 3: it's there song that I like better that can replace it.
- 23:47Speaker 3: So it's like I really had to like remove a
- 23:49Speaker 3: lot of emotional attachment that I have from records and
- 23:53Speaker 3: just like which ones feel the best?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Then you just do lost tapes.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Man. Yeah, no, I'm gonna trust me, Yo. The Road
- 23:59Speaker 2: Speaks Thus Tapes is gonna be crazy, insane.
- 24:02Speaker 3: I promise it's insane because every album that I've done
- 24:06Speaker 3: is mad, Like I have mad songs from Kiss the
- 24:08Speaker 3: Ring that never came.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I'm saying, you got to us and giggles like, just
- 24:12Speaker 1: drop a little twenty piece.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Every single album that I've done, there's songs that's left
- 24:18Speaker 3: over from there. So it's like I got one hundred
- 24:21Speaker 3: unreleased songs that I don't even know what to do with.
- 24:24Speaker 3: That's not even counting all the albums that I have
- 24:27Speaker 3: already like put together. That's just on the fucking conveyor belt.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So it's like, where do you rank Naz's lost tapes
- 24:35Speaker 1: in his discography?
- 24:37Speaker 2: Which one? The first one?
- 24:38Speaker 1: The first? That one?
- 24:39Speaker 2: First? I ranked that ship high. I got a third, Yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 2: I ranked that ship high. Like that's like top five.
- 24:46Speaker 2: It's so fucking good, Like for Yeah, Purple.
- 24:50Speaker 3: That's one of my favorite NAS songs ever, Blazer fifty,
- 24:54Speaker 3: it got mad Ship, No idea is original, Like a
- 24:57Speaker 3: lot of my favorite nod shit is on is on
- 24:59Speaker 3: lost tapes. So, like I said, lost tapes to me
- 25:02Speaker 3: is like top five, Like ill mad it was written.
- 25:05Speaker 2: They go back and forth with like which is.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And then it's like ill madic gods it was written?
- 25:13Speaker 3: Then I go still madic, and then I might go
- 25:16Speaker 3: lost tapes. You understand I'm saying, But I think because.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I got the same I mean my whole five got.
- 25:23Speaker 2: It, but then he got a whole mix tape.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I remember one of my homeboys played me a NAS
- 25:28Speaker 3: mixtape a mad other ship, Like it had some lost
- 25:31Speaker 3: tape shit on, but then it had like some whole
- 25:33Speaker 3: other songs on it that I.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Never even heard of before, Like where the fuck this
- 25:37Speaker 2: song came from?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a lot of leaks, like back then,
- 25:41Speaker 1: motherfuckers was leaking whole albums like at the bodega, and
- 25:45Speaker 1: then the album would come out and a change. Yeah,
- 25:47Speaker 1: hell yeah, crazy times. Man, you already know Arizona Man.

- 29:37Speaker 3: But it's like I love it though, because I remember

- 29:54Speaker 3: release some of the ship that I got on my

- 30:12Speaker 1: Probably already had you already have everything planned out.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Yeah, because you know there's albums that I've been was
- 30:16Speaker 3: supposed to put out that I just like, nah, this's
- 30:19Speaker 3: got I mean, like I'm a future wave that's supposed
- 30:24Speaker 3: to come out, But it's like a lot of things
- 30:26Speaker 3: I had that I had to put before that. But
- 30:28Speaker 3: then in the midst of it, I'm always creating Ship.
- 30:31Speaker 3: I'm always adding new stuff to it, Like me and mugs.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Every time I come to La you gotta get in
- 30:35Speaker 3: with mugs. Yeah, I did three, so I probably didn't
- 30:38Speaker 3: like three songs already.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Since I've been here and I haven't been for like
- 30:41Speaker 2: two days, I did three songs and mugs.
- 30:44Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, I'm probably about to go
- 30:45Speaker 3: do more ship with somebody else.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I was at Alchemist.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I was about to say, it feels like the next progression.
- 30:52Speaker 2: I was the day we was trapping album.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but I feel like even that's just gonna materialize.
- 30:59Speaker 2: You ge know what I'm saying.
- 31:00Speaker 3: It's not gonna be like, yo, room, let's sit down
- 31:03Speaker 3: and do an album. It's just gonna be like, you
- 31:04Speaker 3: know what, every time I end up at our crib,
- 31:06Speaker 3: I probably record something, and then later on it's like, damn,
- 31:09Speaker 3: we got mad ship.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I feel like, even if you connected with evidence evidence.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's the bro I got shipped. I got
- 31:16Speaker 3: songs on his computer right now.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Trust me. When I come to l A, I always.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Got your stops.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I got my stop.
- 31:25Speaker 3: So I always if I'm here for an extended period
- 31:27Speaker 3: of time and everybody's around, I bounce around. I go
- 31:31Speaker 3: to mugs, I do some shit. I go link with EV,
- 31:33Speaker 3: I do some shit. If I link with al, I
- 31:36Speaker 3: go do some ship. I go link with dough Boy,
- 31:38Speaker 3: I go do some ship. You ever saying I link
- 31:40Speaker 3: with Worthy? He cook up a link with TF. We
- 31:43Speaker 3: cook up you know what I'm saying, I link up
- 31:44Speaker 3: with two eleven. It's like, you know, is it you
- 31:48Speaker 3: always hear that?
- 31:48Speaker 1: Like Banks is like kind of an elusive guy these days.
- 31:52Speaker 1: We don't like I don't know the last time he's
- 31:54Speaker 1: like made a public appearance and he's been putting out
- 31:56Speaker 1: so much great music. Yeah he was it is it
- 31:58Speaker 1: pretty easy to get the Lloyd Banks feature over over
- 32:00Speaker 1: the finish line.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I feel like it's easy when the artist fucks with you.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Like I met Banks like a couple of years ago,
- 32:09Speaker 3: and he always was like, yoah, fuck with what you're doing, Like,
- 32:12Speaker 3: let's get some work done, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:15Speaker 3: So it's just about the right record, you know what
- 32:18Speaker 3: I'm saying. Like I had that song, I'm like, y'all,
- 32:20Speaker 3: I definitely hear Banks on this, because you know, sometimes
- 32:22Speaker 3: the motherfucker like, Yo, let's do something, and just you
- 32:25Speaker 3: being eager, you just gonna send some shit that don't
- 32:27Speaker 3: necessarily fit. Like I just feel like that record, I'm
- 32:30Speaker 3: like y'all. I can hear Banks on it because everybody
- 32:32Speaker 3: that I work with, like I'm a fan of them first,
- 32:36Speaker 3: like I've been a fan. So it's like I can
- 32:39Speaker 3: just hear certain shit like Yo that he would sound
- 32:42Speaker 3: crazy on this just because I love him as an artist,
- 32:45Speaker 3: not because it all me rapper wants to do a song.
- 32:48Speaker 3: You know, if I wasn't even on the song is yeah, exactly.
- 32:52Speaker 3: So it's like that's how I do certain shit, like
- 32:53Speaker 3: even the ship with Styles. It's like this would sound
- 32:56Speaker 3: ill what I'm saying. So it's like I'm not gonna
- 32:59Speaker 3: say it was difficult to get Banks. It's just more
- 33:01Speaker 3: so the right song because like even doing a feature
- 33:05Speaker 3: with me, it's not really difficult to get me on
- 33:07Speaker 3: the feature, but it's like it gotta be the right song.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I gotta like like it, you know what I'm saying.
- 33:11Speaker 1: So you're born in London.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I moved to New York when I was one,
- 33:16Speaker 3: so New York here.
- 33:18Speaker 1: So you're I mean you're a New Yorker. Yeah, But
- 33:20Speaker 1: do you feel any like because there's so much talent
- 33:23Speaker 1: out of London, Like the MC's coming out of our London.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Are put like this, I was born in London, but
- 33:29Speaker 3: I consider myself a New Yorker through and through.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Got all my game, everything, everything I know is from
- 33:35Speaker 2: New York.
- 33:36Speaker 3: But I did spend three years of my like teenage
- 33:40Speaker 3: life in London. So there's a lot of things out
- 33:44Speaker 3: there that I identify with. You are the same saying
- 33:46Speaker 3: I'm not gonna sit here and be like, no, I
- 33:48Speaker 3: don't identify with London.
- 33:50Speaker 2: That's a part of me too.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Like I'm spending London too. I got a lot of
- 33:53Speaker 3: good friends in London. Like one of my close friends
- 33:56Speaker 3: is a little ass rapper in London.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And then like I just like being out there. So
- 34:02Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, there's a lot of trust me it.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Ship is fire.
- 34:06Speaker 3: There's a lot of great talent out there. There's a
- 34:08Speaker 3: lot of fucking dope artists. There's a lot of dope producers.
- 34:12Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying. There's a lot of dope
- 34:15Speaker 2: just people.
- 34:15Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. People show me a lot
- 34:17Speaker 3: of love. The food is fucking excellent out there, is it?
- 34:20Speaker 1: I always hear.
- 34:21Speaker 3: You just gotta know this, that is always be like,
- 34:24Speaker 3: you have know what to eat, right, you have to
- 34:28Speaker 3: know what to eat meat.
- 34:29Speaker 2: I'm a very picky eater. So at the end of
- 34:31Speaker 2: the day, Like.
- 34:32Speaker 1: When you say picky, what do you mean, because there's picky,
- 34:34Speaker 1: Like I only want chicken nuts.
- 34:36Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I just I'm just the type of person I only
- 34:40Speaker 3: eat the ship that I like to eat. Okay, you
- 34:42Speaker 3: get what I'm saying, Like, I'm not just gonna experiment
- 34:45Speaker 3: on some ship if it don't like, if it's not
- 34:48Speaker 3: on my checklist of things that I fuck with, I'm
- 34:50Speaker 3: not just gonna fuck with it.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm assuming you're not a sushi guy.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Then I likesh, but not every kind of sush you
- 34:56Speaker 3: like the raw fish, Like, Okay, I fuck with a
- 34:58Speaker 3: lot of things, but it's like no, when it comes
- 35:02Speaker 3: to London, you kind of gotta just you kind of
- 35:06Speaker 3: gotta dig for it. A lot of the ship that
- 35:09Speaker 3: you might not like is right there on the surface.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Like I love fish and chips, but it gotta be
- 35:13Speaker 3: made a certain way, right right right, you know what
- 35:15Speaker 3: I'm saying. But if you don't really understand what real
- 35:18Speaker 3: fish and chips tastes like, you might end up buying
- 35:20Speaker 3: some bullshit.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I want to go out there and just get shit
- 35:23Speaker 1: faced during like some soccer game at Bro.
- 35:25Speaker 2: London is fucking lit.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Do you inherit the soccer fandom when you spend three
- 35:32Speaker 1: years after I'm aschool fan.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I'm an arsenal fan. That's the thing. It's like I
- 35:35Speaker 2: went to I went to tenth grade and.
- 35:37Speaker 1: They called it footy.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yeah, they called football.
- 35:39Speaker 1: No, they called it footy.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Depends on where you at. Depends on where you at.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Like I was in London from tenth grade to eleventh
- 35:47Speaker 3: grade and they don't do twelfth grade out there, so
- 35:50Speaker 3: then you have like an intermediate college or whatever.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But every summer I'll come back to New York.
- 35:56Speaker 3: So it's like it wasn't like whole years I was
- 35:58Speaker 3: in London, Like I was always back and forth. But like, guy, yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 3: the things that I picked up from London, it's just like,
- 36:07Speaker 3: I don't know, Bro, it's just rich experiences. I feel
- 36:09Speaker 3: like the more you travel, you become richer in experience,
- 36:13Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. Like just just seeing things,
- 36:16Speaker 3: just fucking with different cultures, you know what I'm saying.
- 36:18Speaker 1: So talk to me, man for you suck it in
- 36:20Speaker 1: my pocket? Why that that's that's some player ship, Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Telling some players.
- 36:25Speaker 3: It's some player ship, I mean obviously, but then it's
- 36:28Speaker 3: also like.
- 36:30Speaker 2: I need mine. Yeah, like in this game, I need mine. Yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 2: I need mine. I need mine. I came from mine.
- 36:37Speaker 3: I been here doing it for the love yeah me,
- 36:40Speaker 3: And I've been doing it because I feel like I
- 36:42Speaker 3: wanted to respect. I wanted motherfuckers to know I get
- 36:45Speaker 3: busy for real. And now you know, I get busy.
- 36:49Speaker 3: I need to get paid. Not saying I haven't been
- 36:53Speaker 3: getting paid, because I have. But this is a new level.
- 36:56Speaker 3: This is a new This is not like the last
- 36:58Speaker 3: home I put out. This is like a totally different thing.
- 37:01Speaker 3: So now I want to receive all the things that
- 37:05Speaker 3: you're supposed to receive once you achieve certain levels of success.
- 37:10Speaker 2: So this is like the start of me doing it
- 37:13Speaker 2: for the bag.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Like now I respect and I need the bag.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, facts Facts Facts.
- 37:20Speaker 3: A tour coming up yeah hell yeah, hell yeah. Soccer
- 37:24Speaker 3: to my Pocket Tour, US Tour Mad Cities. We're doing
- 37:28Speaker 3: all August and then I'm gonna take a break for
- 37:31Speaker 3: a couple of weeks and then we're gonna do September.
- 37:35Speaker 1: What is the randomly like you see your Spotify analytics,
- 37:38Speaker 1: What is like a random market that just cracks for
- 37:40Speaker 1: room streets.
- 37:45Speaker 2: New Zealand, New Zealand. Yeah, they want me in New
- 37:48Speaker 2: Zealand bad.
- 37:49Speaker 1: You gotta get out there in New Zealand's I think
- 37:51Speaker 1: New Zealand like they damn your sound Australian there.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they want me in New Zealand, Bad, New Zealand, Australia, Colombia, Venezuela.
- 38:03Speaker 2: They want me in those places.
- 38:05Speaker 1: So have you been to Colombia yet?
- 38:07Speaker 4: No?
- 38:07Speaker 2: I have not.
- 38:08Speaker 1: What about Asia? Have you done the Asia run?
- 38:10Speaker 3: I went to Thailand? I've been a Yeah, I went
- 38:15Speaker 3: to Thailand. He was in January. Yeah, that was fire.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Bangkok.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't. I definitely would go back.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It is because I went to Roland Loud two years
- 38:28Speaker 1: ago and I had a bunch of business out there
- 38:30Speaker 1: with Wis Khalifa. So I was out there for like
- 38:32Speaker 1: twelve days and I did Bangkok fouquet and pattire. I'll
- 38:38Speaker 1: be trying to tell people Bangkok is the craziest city.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yo, because you know what's so crazy?
- 38:43Speaker 3: I didn't like, I didn't assume that it was so
- 38:47Speaker 3: modern Like I didn't assume that it was so modernized
- 38:49Speaker 3: like that ship is like I'm not gonna say it's
- 38:52Speaker 3: like New York, but it is. It has like an
- 38:56Speaker 3: aura of like mad Scott scrapers, like where I was
- 38:59Speaker 3: staying for Like I was like by like forty second
- 39:02Speaker 3: Street Bros.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Crazy shit. Shopping is crazy.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Crazy, you know what it is though?
- 39:08Speaker 3: What I want to do now, It's like I go
- 39:12Speaker 3: a lot of places, but I'm always working. I'm always
- 39:16Speaker 3: you know, doing the show. I've always gotta I always
- 39:18Speaker 3: got to do like work, so sometimes I don't really
- 39:21Speaker 3: have all the time that I want to have to
- 39:24Speaker 3: explore to be a yeah yeah, it's like, nah, I
- 39:28Speaker 3: would just want to go to these places and do
- 39:30Speaker 3: tourist shit, cause like I appreciate me getting to travel
- 39:33Speaker 3: see the world for rap, But sometimes I might go
- 39:36Speaker 3: to a place for a day and I got to
- 39:38Speaker 3: do a show that day, and I might.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Have to leave that day.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like damn, on the show day, everything
- 39:45Speaker 3: just moves ten times more accelerated. So it's like damn,
- 39:49Speaker 3: I've been a lot of places, but I didn't really
- 39:51Speaker 3: like get to dive all the way in they got
- 39:54Speaker 3: fire as yeah, yeah, hell yeah, I was high as
- 39:57Speaker 3: hell out there. It's so crazy because when I went,
- 39:59Speaker 3: like befo, That's why I went. I wasn't smoking weed,
- 40:01Speaker 3: Like I made a conscious effort to like not smoke
- 40:03Speaker 3: weed from that long by, Like Dad, I'm going to Thailand.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I'm going to get high. So I was fried in Thailand, like.
- 40:09Speaker 1: My homie got my hommy got a dispensary out there
- 40:12Speaker 1: on California's Finest. He got there all over the city.
- 40:14Speaker 1: So the Asian homie, he's blessing us, obviously aid Thailand
- 40:19Speaker 1: is fun brock All right, man, So tours coming album
- 40:23Speaker 1: is out? Yes, you already get you say you already
- 40:26Speaker 1: got like the next twelve months kind of planned out?
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty much, but you know, anything can happen.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I'm curious your personal favorite five mcs, not who you
- 40:37Speaker 1: think is the Goats, but like we all have our fame.
- 40:39Speaker 3: My personal favorite five mcs like currently or just like.
- 40:44Speaker 1: It could be all time. I think all time is
- 40:46Speaker 1: who you fuck with it.
- 40:47Speaker 3: You know, I'm gonna just name some random five random names,
- 40:53Speaker 3: not really random, but you know these are artists that
- 40:55Speaker 3: I enjoy listening to rock Marciano, West Side Gun, Yeah.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Doom Drake, and uh mm let me give you one
- 41:22Speaker 4: more one more Wild card. Damn, what the fuck would
- 41:31Speaker 4: I listen to that other day?
- 41:32Speaker 2: Man? I like Don Tolliver. His ship is fire. Don
- 41:40Speaker 2: Tolliver is fire.
- 41:42Speaker 1: You'd be hard pressed to find a shitty Don Tolliver song.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Facts, he's just like I love his voice.
- 41:47Speaker 1: He makes amazing music. Is cracked, the octaneh it is crazy.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:52Speaker 2: I thought Max being there too. I fucking Max Man Max.
- 41:55Speaker 1: B Max Bani needs a podcast.
- 41:57Speaker 3: They got to give him like the bigger well Man.
- 42:00Speaker 1: They gotta like him, and somebody else gotta do like
- 42:03Speaker 1: the Joe Jada thing. Could just like let Mack speech.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, facts, I really like rapper podcast. I was
- 42:11Speaker 3: telling somebody the other day like how like like fancy
- 42:17Speaker 3: like Adrian Brown and how he's like the littlest person streaming.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I'm like a person that.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Was in like a field that you never really hear,
- 42:25Speaker 3: like people talk always gonna be lit Like you might
- 42:29Speaker 3: hear a boxer talk, but you never really hear a
- 42:31Speaker 3: boxer speak about anything other than boxing. You never really
- 42:35Speaker 3: see them outside of working out or doing something that's
- 42:39Speaker 3: involved in boxing. So now you see Adrian Brown are
- 42:42Speaker 3: just turning up whil'ing out like a regular human it's
- 42:45Speaker 3: like mad entertaining. So a lot of times celebrities that
- 42:49Speaker 3: do podcasts is always gonna be lit because people want
- 42:52Speaker 3: to hear their perspective. Like if an R and B
- 42:54Speaker 3: artist started a podcast, it would be lit because most
- 42:57Speaker 3: people you never really hear what R and B artist
- 43:00Speaker 3: has got to say, Like if fucking I don't know
- 43:05Speaker 3: R Kelly, go play, Like think about R Kelly the
- 43:08Speaker 3: podcast podcast. People will want to hear what the you
- 43:12Speaker 3: gotta say because it's like what he might not that
- 43:15Speaker 3: might not have been a good exact that's a terrible example,
- 43:17Speaker 3: but I appreciate your rolling with it. It's like a
- 43:20Speaker 3: like a like a like a lit R and B
- 43:22Speaker 3: artist neo, Like, yeah, people will want to hear what
- 43:25Speaker 3: the you gotta say because it's like, you know, R
- 43:27Speaker 3: and B artists get mad bitches, so it's like, yo,
- 43:29Speaker 3: tell us some groopy stories, like we want to know
- 43:32Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 43:33Speaker 1: No, my favorite ship is the Jada Joe ship.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, hell yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 1: They had an episode. They had an episode with Bill Bird,
- 43:40Speaker 1: the comedian, like a month ago, and it's the it
- 43:43Speaker 1: was the funniest podcast. This full Bill Bird was just
- 43:46Speaker 1: fucking cracking jokes on Fat Joe. They were just going
- 43:49Speaker 1: back and forth for like an hour, and Jada Kiss
- 43:51Speaker 1: was just laughing and Bill is like, what the fuck do.
- 43:54Speaker 2: You even doing?
- 43:54Speaker 1: How do you get a word?
- 43:55Speaker 3: I like less rap about it too, This ship with
- 43:58Speaker 3: Jones and Fabinavy like that because man is funny. It's
- 44:02Speaker 3: funny their podcast. Shout out to them. But like, I
- 44:05Speaker 3: enjoy watching them because, like you said, you get a
- 44:08Speaker 3: lot of behind the scenes stories, you know what I'm saying.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Like I'm here, I'm fans of a lot of people.
- 44:14Speaker 3: So when they start doing these podcasts, they telling you
- 44:17Speaker 3: a bunch of shit that you would never even have known,
- 44:19Speaker 3: you know.
- 44:19Speaker 2: What I'm saying. So it's like, hell, yeah.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Well listen, the album is out. Go support it tour
