- 0:12Good day.
- 0:12Welcome to the Midday Report on the America Out Loud News Talk Radio Network, the countermomentum of spin.
- 0:19I am your host, Dr.
- 0:20Franco Musio.
- 0:21To our friends listening in the United States and around the world, we're gonna jump back into the frying pan, so to speak.
- 0:29A hot and heavy topic.
- 0:30So we were talking about exercise.
- 0:32We were talking about judgment and uh envy and so forth.
- 0:36Um this particular time.
- 0:39The the title of this is the intra, not inter, intra national cognitive war against me, you, and our United States of America.
- 0:49I'm privileged to present to you a very well-known radio and podcast host on America Out Loud, who was in the trenches, uh incredible, um incredible experience.
- 1:02Uh I will venture to call him a statesman at this point, uh, but uh in our intelligence community.
- 1:10So Edward Huglin is really uh he's a retired federal senior executive and U.S.
- 1:15Air Force veteran.
- 1:17He's had over four decades of service uh as a senior founder leader in the intelligence community, department of defense, department of homeland security, department of energy and state, he did it all.
- 1:28I don't know about the Department of Agriculture.
- 1:31I I don't think so, and all those other things.
- 1:33But anyway, he did a lot.
- 1:34So he served as a senior advisor to several many uh intelligence community agency heads, the assistant inspector general for inspections for the intelligence community, the chairman of CIA's uh strategic planning, deputy team leader for the this is what gets me, the INF, the intermediate range nuclear forces, uh arms inspection team, the former Soviet Union, and an award-winning CIA intelligence analyst.
- 2:02We'll go on and on.
- 2:03So his book, the cognitive war, why are we losing and how can we win?
- 2:08I think, and I've mentioned this a number of times, should be required reading for everyone, but everyone in the country.
- 2:14But even grade school, maybe, but particularly as opposed to what they're giving them now.
- 2:20But particularly by those interested, uh, and and working in the intelligence community.
- 2:24Uh, it's available on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles.
- 2:27There's still time for Christmas or New Year's gift.
- 2:30How about that?
- 2:31So, Mr.
- 2:31Hogland, Ed, you're my mentor.
- 2:34You've been in my mentor in this domain.
- 2:36Welcome to the countermomentum of spin.
- 2:40Oh, great, great, uh, Franco.
- 2:41Thanks for having me.
- 2:42Look forward to the discussions.
- 2:44Absolutely.
- 2:44Uh, it's always always uh my pleasure to have uh into intellectual debate and discussions with you.
- 2:49And so let's uh let's light the world on fire.
- 2:52Okay, so this is not going to be a Hillary Clinton um type of interview.
- 2:57Okay, I'm not going to give you softballs, even though I was mentioning before, even though I may agree with you the vast majority of times.
- 3:03I'm going to give you some hardballs too.
- 3:05So he mentored me, I said that already, and I him on medical issues, uh, previous show, the National Security Hour, uh, on America Out Loud.
- 3:14Um, so what I'd like to do is start with definitions.
- 3:19Let's say the theory.
- 3:21Um so I think it's critical, absolutely critical to spend a little bit of time on definitions.
- 3:26Then we'll go into the mechanisms, the operations, if you will, of cognitive warfare, and then the actual outcomes, the impacts, the hardcore results.
- 3:35So, Ed, bear with me here and audience bear with me.
- 3:39I'm going to use a medical analogy, a chemical reaction.
- 3:43So we have reactants.
- 3:45These are the initial substances that go into a chemical reaction.
- 3:50So that's kind of the theory, I would say.
- 3:52We're going to talk about this in a minute.
- 3:54Then we have the actual reaction.
- 3:57What's a reaction?
- 3:59It's a process where chemical bonds break of the reactants, new bonds form, resulting in products.
- 4:07Products can be good.
- 4:08In this case, maybe not so good.
- 4:11We'll talk about all these.
- 4:13So I'm going to use Mr.
- 4:14Hogland's definition in his book of cognitive war.
- 4:17Cognitive war, quote, primarily an ideological war between tyranny and freedom, control and independence, subjugation and democracy.
- 4:25It's a war fought primarily in the cognitive domain, you using strategies that apply various ways, ideology, religion, issues, blah, blah, blah, etc.
- 4:34Institutions and means.
- 4:36I gather these are the institutions, academic, economic, agricultural, social, etc., to influence.
- 4:42And its most basic form, it's a war between good and evil.
- 4:45Cognitive war can and does include irregular warfare and kinetics.
- 4:50So I give it to you.
- 4:52You still there?
- 4:53Yo, I'm still here, yes.
- 4:55Okay, I'm giving you the definition.
- 4:57This is what you said.
- 4:59Okay.
- 4:59Yes.
- 5:00All right.
- 5:00Well, well, let me let me segue the NATO.
- 5:02The NATO Strategic Warfare Development Command, 2024, cognitive warfare is fought by, quote, activities conducted in synchronization with other institutions or instruments of power to affect attitudes and behaviors by influencing, protecting or disrupting individual, group, or population level cognition to gain an advantage over an uh adversary.
- 5:25So that kind of dovetails in what you said.
- 5:29Yes.
- 5:32It does in a way.
- 5:33So go on, please.
- 5:34Uh well, I'm going to give you my definition.
- 5:38This is after learning from you and others.
- 5:40So uh this is what I wrote in mine, and then I'll leave it all to you.
- 5:44The the mass media machine control via cognitive warfare in America Out Loud uh News Network or on it.
- 5:52This is what I wrote.
- 5:53So, as citizens of this great country, it is critically important for all of us to be aware and vigilant of the ongoing subtle campaigns from both outside and within our borders, um, designated to shape our collective consciousness as a society.
- 6:08On the other hand, this subtly uh subtlety belies the actual power of their import.
- 6:14In essence, cognitive warfare is a very complex form of quote unquote battle or hostility with the aim of gaining superiority by fracturing the cognition and ultimate actions of small or very large groups of people, such as a country.
- 6:30As such, its goal is to influence principles, perceptions, and decision-making processes in order to weaken an opponent's will and foundations.
- 6:39So there you go.
- 6:41Three definitions, including yours.
- 6:44Well, those those are good.
- 7:01So the NATO's definition speaks to activities.
- 7:04It's a limited definition, but it's an okay definition.
- 7:07Same with your definitions.
- 7:09It's a little bit more rush robust, I think, than even the NATO definition.
- 7:12The key, though, for this discussion is this is not about technology only.
- 7:18This is not about just influencing only.
- 7:21It's not about uh one set of means, you know, one pathway only.
- 7:27It's about multiple integrated parallel ongoing efforts that are occurring uh both domestically and globally in efforts to then undermine and subvert our national way of life is the sole objective be gaining absolute power.
- 7:45The key word maybe here is subtle, subtle, doesn't hit you over the head most of the time.
- 7:52Yes.
- 7:52Well, so for example, look at look at the uh Chinese police stations that were deployed and are probably some still deployed throughout the United States.
- 8:01You know, very subtle in terms of uh it's it's uh application, right?
- 8:06But very unbehind look at the Confucius Institute.
- 8:10Uh look at the radical left indoctrinate, yeah.
- 8:13And look at the radical left here domestically indoctrinization of our students over the last five decades, how they usurped the K through twelve universities and academic realms, okay, and have turned them into indoctrination centers, okay?
- 8:28All done very subtly.
- 8:30Why?
- 8:30Because in many cases, uh, what I call in my book, this is the boring but critical stuff.
- 8:36But because it's somewhat boring policy making or education school boards and stuff, people don't think about that.
- 8:42But that's where the real rubber meets the road here in America in terms of being able to subvert us because they realize our attention span is very small, it's myopic.
- 8:51So they use that.
- 8:52And with the human beings, but critical source, yes.
- 8:56Human beings.
- 8:56They then take advantage of those gaps.
- 8:58Well, guess what?
- 8:59If there's no money, there's no indoctrination.
- 9:02So, in other words, uh the if you want to talk about the communist party uh and other means, we'll talk about this, you know, uh in the future here a little bit later, George Soros, and there's many, many people with a lot of money who are underwriting in a sense.
- 9:19Uh um cognitive warfare.
- 9:21What do you think?
- 9:23No, absolutely.
- 9:24Or am I wrong?
- 9:26No, no, you're absolutely right.
- 9:27Look at, for example, Venezuela.
- 9:29Okay, Venezuela has been uh doing certain things to uh subvert our elections here in the United States.
- 9:362020 election may play some some role in that for sure.
- 9:40And the confusion, but the Chinese thousand light program when they they uh pay university professors and others to come there, like Tim Governor Tim Waltz, okay, and then they compromise them and they get them to then uh do their bidding in terms of pushing their propaganda.
- 9:57And look at uh
- 10:00Look at the city.
- 10:02Don't even get me started.
- 10:03Don't even get me started.
- 10:04And the whole Somali fraud thing.
- 10:06It's it's very subtle, but it's very effective.
- 10:09They still now probably nine billion dollars.
- 10:12Oh my god.
- 10:12Oh, guess what?
- 10:14More.
- 10:14More, more.
- 10:16Um it's probably more than that.
- 10:17All right.
- 10:18Well, Ed, the mechanisms.
- 10:20I'm going to talk about the mechanisms, and then you what you just mentioned results.
- 10:24But so internationally.
- 10:28So internationally, we're going to talk about intranationally, but internationally, there's technology, there's size cyberspace, cyber war, multi-level, multinational campaigns using, as I mentioned to you, subtle, very subtle, but very powerful.
- 10:42Um media, social media, um, and other media, AI, media in general.
- 10:49Now, nationally, here, nationally.
- 10:52Again, this is the reaction part of the chemical reaction.
- 10:56You know, this is when you see the the reaction fizzling and the catalysts in there and so forth.
- 11:01So also cyberspace and cyber warfare.
- 11:04Um, the prosternization of concepts taken from socialism, communism, Marxism, fascism.
- 11:12So we don't live in a communist state, but but there are tendencies from the far left.
- 11:18So these are the foundations, I think, for spreading left-wing, progressive, non-conservative ideology.
- 11:24We don't we don't live, you know, in Russia.
- 11:26We don't live in China, thank God.
- 11:29But there are I'll I'll use an analogy, bipolar disorder.
- 11:33So bipolar disorder in the psychiatric world.
- 11:36I'm not a psychiatrist, hardly.
- 11:38Um sometimes maybe I need one, but hardly.
- 11:42But there aren't there are maybe all of us.
- 11:45There are not uh not everyone has bipolar disorder, but there are bipolar tendencies.
- 11:53Uh all of us to some degree, maybe some maybe more uh more than others.
- 11:57We have tendencies, but we're not overtly bipolar.
- 12:00So but but maybe the far left is using tendencies, if you will, uh uh in various degrees.
- 12:08There's a continuum here, socialism, communism, Marx, and fascism.
- 12:11That's the reaction part of the equation of the chemical equation, I think.
- 12:18And then still the reactions are the institutions.
- 12:21So you mentioned institutions in your article, the impact of cognitive war on America, um on America out loud.
- 12:29This is what you said.
- 12:31You said education, law enforcement, military, health care, homeland security, economics, national security, national, national debt, as kind of an institution in and of itself, energy, weapon stockpiles, good science, rare earth supplies, another institution, international trade.
- 12:48Then I go on and I say, well, psychology, sociology, technology, science, like you say, religion, theology.
- 12:55It goes on and on, philosophy, art, ethics, music, sports, sports for sure, metaphysics.
- 13:02You you go into all the, you know, like a college campus, uh, you know, history, education, mathematics, physics.
- 13:09How can you how can you dovetail mathematics and physics uh with this?
- 13:14Well, you can because they're teaching, they're teaching these kids mathematics through the prism of far left progressivism.
- 13:23Have you seen that?
- 13:24Um give it to you.
- 13:27Yeah, so so you're right.
- 13:28So the what you're pointing out here is the mechanisms are the means.
- 13:33And uh, you know, Chinese call this unrestricted warfare.
- 13:37Uh this is cognitive warfare, what they use, though, is unrestricted warfare tactics, meaning they use any and all means.
- 13:44So whether you said whether it's medical, whether it's healthcare, academic, economic, okay.
- 13:49Every one of those different arenas has an underlying effort to subvert it, overtake it, and then rule it.
- 13:58Okay.
- 13:59We've seen, and we just talked about the academic aspect in terms of the indoctrinization over there.
- 14:04That became readily apparent during COVID.
- 14:07The economic aspects.
- 14:08Take a look at what they did with the Green New Deal in the last administration have been pushing this uh green crap uh for years and for decades now, okay?
- 14:17Yeah, the polar beer still live, the ice caps are still there.
- 14:21Now, Gore and uh John Kerry still around on carbon emitting jets that and getting paid millions of dollars or earning million dollars, spewing the gases of uh greenhouse gas.
- 14:34Isn't that a little hip hypocritical, Ed?
- 14:37Just a little.
- 14:37Oh, it's it's not only hypocritical, but it's purposeful.
- 14:40Okay, and so uh in the Biden administration, the whole Green New Deal was basically a sellout to China, which he was compromised by because remember his son and him took payoffs from China.
- 14:51So I remember in Ukraine.
- 14:52Of course.
- 14:53Yeah, and so the whole solar deals, the solar panels, the rare earth materials, all these things, okay, which China had.
- 14:59Where was the money going from these trillion dollars in the green investment?
- 15:03They're going to China.
- 15:04They weren't going to develop the infrastructure and capabilities here in the US, which we have all the energy we need, as Trump is proving.
- 15:12Right.
- 15:12But they were outsourcing this and subverting America's NASA security.
- 15:16What to then provide the Chinese greater strength, greater economic power, all at our expense.
- 15:23Well, what it why why does it do that?
- 15:25Because it allows them to then usurp power domestically, control things domestically, down to your gas stove, down sheer gas lawnmower, and leaf blowers.
- 15:36Yep, yep.
- 15:36So ulterior motives, ulterior motives, not going A, B, C, D, but going like A, B, F G, and so all over the place, but ultimately have having a purpose in mind, ultimately having a brand, maybe to fool and trick uh others, you know.
- 15:54Um, yeah.
- 15:55Well, yes, but a key aspect of this for people to understand, though, is the ideologies he talked about, communism, fascism, Marxism, et cetera.
- 16:03Okay.
- 16:04These are the ways I talked about with ideology and religion as well.
- 16:09But in all these instances, people must remember these are just cloaks, the owning the wolves for sheep's clothing, because none of these folks actually believe in these ideologies.
- 16:22These are utopian ideologies which have been proven bankrupt for years.
- 16:27But this is a part of the way they use this of subsovert America because Americans have a very myopic short-term focus.
- 16:34So many of the young today don't remember the Cold War.
- 16:37No, don't remember the communism, right?
- 16:40Are you insinuating?
- 16:41Are you insinuating they're lying to us?
- 16:44Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 16:45But it's been very effective.
- 16:47And it's a very good thing.
- 16:47I'm kidding.
- 16:48I'm kidding.
- 16:48I'm kidding.
- 16:49Of course they are.
- 16:50But I know.
- 16:50But yeah, but it's just like Lenin.
- 16:53Lenin and Marx, they weren't true uh Marxist Leninists that what they were doing is use it as a means to usurp power and goods from other people.
- 17:01I mean, look at Marx.
- 17:03He lived off the money of uh well-funded donors.
- 17:07Okay.
- 17:07Yeah.
- 17:08And he was a he was a shill, and he would he was uh he didn't care for his own children, okay?
- 17:13And they use this stuff to then cover for themselves and live off of other people's expenses.
- 17:20By the way, side note, Putin doesn't either.
- 17:22You know, they developed their own COVID vaccine.
- 17:24Um, and he had his daughter try it way before he even took it uh as the guinea pig.
- 17:30So I mean that's in their DNA kind of.
- 17:32Okay, hold that thought, hold that thought on uh the other side of the commercial break.
- 17:37We're gonna talk about the end results, because you've got about 20 of here in in your articles that that are fascinating.
- 17:44So we'll be right back.
- 17:46Feeling off lately, bloated brain fog, low energy.
- 17:49It could be parasites, these sound invaders that weaken your gut, immune system, and mental clarity.
- 17:54That's why Dr.
- 17:55Peter McCullough and the doctors at the wellness company formulated ivermectin and mabendazol cleanse, a medical grade solution designed to help eliminate parasites and restore balance.
- 18:04No gimmicks, just real medicine trusted by top doctors.
- 18:07Go to TWC dot health forward slash out loud and use code out loud for 20% off your first order.
- 18:14Take control of your health today.
- 18:15You wouldn't go a day without brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
- 18:18What about washing your nose?
- 18:21I mean, your nose does filter the air you breathe, air loaded with bacteria, viruses, and irritants.
- 18:26Make nasal hygiene part of your routine with clear.
- 18:29No messy bottles to fill, no drowning sensation.
- 18:32Clear is a natural drug-free saline with the added benefit of xylitol, which blocks bacterial and viral adhesion available in stores and online at clear.com.
- 18:42That is XLEAR.com.
- 18:46Well, it's high time Americans refuse to be pawned in the human chest.
- 18:52Under the name of diversity, politicians divide the people in their quest for power.
- 18:58No diversity opinion and expression is as American as Apple Pod.
- 19:07Now is our time, my fellow Americans.
- 19:10America out loud dot news.
- 19:12Liberty and justice for all.
- 19:18All righty.
- 19:20Alrighty, welcome back.
- 19:21Welcome back with our guest, Mr.
- 19:24Uh Ed Huglin.
- 19:26So uh I'm gonna talk about some of the outcomes, the hardcore results.
- 19:31This is the end result of the chemical equation of uh, I don't know if you like that analogy or not, but uh uh of cognitive warfare.
- 19:38So the products of cognitive warfare.
- 19:40And Ed, you've mentioned a bunch of these, and we we've touched on these already, but there's 20 well, there's a hundreds, but these are the impacts, and I'm gonna some of these I'm gonna go through pretty quickly, but the educational system.
- 19:55Well, our public educational system, preschool to postgraduate level.
- 20:00Goes into the private system and private private schools as well, not only, not only um publicly funded schools, but privately funded schools.
- 20:10Um this is disgusting.
- 20:14But uh uh at least at this point, and by the way, the counter-momentum of spin, the the the title of this uh show, um the Trump administration I I think is taking the bull by the horns, and what they're trying to do is to prevent or to to perform counter-momentum maneuvers on what I'm gonna be saying here, but law enforcement, um uh uh enabling felons to prey on the innocent.
- 20:39Absolutely.
- 20:40Well, why?
- 20:42Because they're given stand downs, that's why.
- 20:44Um, in many cases, many case, or they were at least.
- 20:48Um the judicial system, you mentioned a blank judicial system as an insurrectionist and unconstitutional movement.
- 20:55I I gotta say I have to agree with you by radical judiciary.
- 21:00Well, it's not the majority, but but thank God, but certainly a sizable minority to to take away power, usurp power, and uh and let these people go, let these criminals go by you know, the safe spaces for boys and girls, um, you know, to uh that that's another one.
- 21:18The they're being altered, they're being altered.
- 21:21Um, you know, uh uh to allow pedophiles.
- 21:24Well, pedophiles thrive in in this kind of society in in which you know a far left society, they do.
- 21:32Why?
- 21:32My opinion, they're they're let out of jail, uh, but and they pervert everything.
- 21:38Um you wrote the United States Senate as our deliberative body, but I I would I would disagree with you there.
- 21:47I would say you have to not disagree, I agree, but I would add, of course, more so the House.
- 21:53Uh why are there so many radicals in there?
- 21:56Or or at least they the media that they make media um oh headlines, and well, they're voted in.
- 22:04Why are they voted in?
- 22:06How are I should say how are they voted in?
- 22:08Well, you know, um, this speaks to everything you're saying.
- 22:11Military.
- 22:12Um, you know, the the role of civilian leadership, um and and everyone took an oath to present prevent our constitution.
- 22:21But but look at this what is it, six people who who say no, uh, disavow or or well, yeah.
- 22:28If the president gives an unlawful order, such as the president, um I remember once, uh, if he listens to this, he won't like this, but Bill Clinton was with uh Greg Norman, the the golfer, and he he was drunk and he fell downstairs, and that's how he actually broke his uh hip or his lower extremity, and he was taken care of by someone I know at Walter, uh not Walter Eat at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, and they're all to you and she traveled with him.
- 23:00But during the time that he was drunk, I think he called the vice president and said, Look, just like if I'm having a colonoscopy, just you know, take over here.
- 23:09But but if the vice president is drunk, it says, go ahead and nuke everything.
- 23:12Well, that's an unlawful order, okay.
- 23:15And the Secretary of Defense is responsible for not obeying that order, which he would not.
- 23:23He would not obey that order.
- 23:24So hence stop.
- 23:26That's unlawful.
- 23:28But to help uh curtail the drugs coming into our country, and I'm gonna I have a comment about that a little bit later, that are now flowing through Venezuela and other countries.
- 23:39Well, they're flowing from everywhere.
- 23:41Um and then that's an unlawful order.
- 23:44No, it's not.
- 23:45Um, and you also mentioned here, number seven, uh the nation that regularly condemns socialism, communism, and tyranny was globalized to accommodate those broken ideologies so as to advance them here in America.
- 23:57Okay, let me stop a little bit.
- 23:59I need to take a breath of air here.
- 24:01Well, you mentioned the six senators, the Democratic senators who made that video.
- 24:07Yep.
- 24:07Okay, that was a purposeful psychological operation, because they told the troops they they should never follow an unlawful order.
- 24:19But of course, none of them could give an example of Trump providing an unlawful order.
- 24:24Well, there's a reason for that.
- 24:25He didn't.
- 24:26He hadn't.
- 24:27Well, that exactly.
- 24:28But at the same time, at the same time, they they mentioned nothing about the uh unconstitutional orders that Obama gave to um assassinate U.S.
- 24:40citizens on foreign soils because they were associating with ISIS terrorists.
- 24:45Uh they also mentioned nothing about Millie, uh chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, former Mill uh chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Millie, who talked about uh his efforts with the Chinese and and what he said to the Chinese when when Trump was uh in in office, okay, subverting the president in my mind at that time.
- 25:04And so what they're doing here is they're saying something, but not giving an example.
- 25:09And for the five years that I I did teach uh and lecture at the Army War College on cognitive warfare every year, I would ask the uh rising uh junior officers and some uh mid-level officers.
- 25:23I'd ask them, consider is what do you know what an unlawful order is?
- 25:28And what would you do if you were given an unlawful order?
- 25:30Uh but none of them could ever explain what that is.
- 25:34And so it the the point in a broader sense, it would be valid, but the way they used it was to basically subvert the president's efforts and his control of the military.
- 25:44Okay, and you've seen what they did to the military with the transgender issue issue is they used and misappropriated that transgender issue, where you have 85% plus the people with gender for dysphoria attempting suicide at some point, and then they tried to normalize that uh spectrum of people as being good for national security.
- 26:09Well, making an analogy, that's like saying, okay, because serial killers are really good at killing people, and we ought to bring them into NASA security because then we can deploy them because they're good killers, okay?
- 26:23That's a good idea.
- 26:24Yeah, the mental psychology of these people know no bounds, in other words.
- 26:30True.
- 26:31They call us off and the impacts as you're talking about of cognitive warfare is on every fascist society.
- 26:38And that's why uh Trump recently went back out on the campaign trail to highlight what they did economically, because people have already forgotten who left us in this crap hole, who left us in this crap hole economically with 30 million illegal aliens spending literally billions, hundreds of billions, if not trillions of dollars on their health care and other things.
- 26:58The crime committee.
- 27:12Here's another one.
- 27:13Uh we see innocent people murdered daily on our highways by illegals who cannot read, but were given a driver's license for 10-ton semi-trucks.
- 27:22Um of these were Indians, by the way.
- 27:26I mean it it does, it's not only Central Americans, it's not only Central Americans.
- 27:30Uh we see other innocents stabbed in the neck, pushed onto railways, assaulted, assassinated.
- 27:36You didn't put here burned, um, others murdered in the hundreds of crosswoke progressive cities each week, which is clearly clearly disgusting, absolutely disgusting.
- 27:47But what's the purpose here, Frank?
- 27:49If I can interrupt you, it's the purpose here is to create anarchy care and destabilize society.
- 27:57Okay, because this is how the radicalist is operated for centuries.
- 28:01Well, well, well, let me interrupt you, but by letting them out, by letting them out of prison.
- 28:05So in other words, there's always going to be a segment of society that is uh, you know, psychiatrically uh sick and uh and you know will will murder people, whoever, for whatever cause, not even not even a cause, for that matter.
- 28:21But but if you get at the root of this, um I these individuals, I don't think are saying, oh, I I believe in progressive leftism, and I I believe that I should be killing people because I like it.
- 28:34Um, no, they're in jail, but not for very long.
- 28:38That's where that's where the problem is.
- 28:40They're let out.
- 28:41They're let out.
- 28:42I don't think they all have agendas.
- 28:45They have yeah, they have agendas to kill, but but I don't know necessarily for a purpose, meaning to propagate far leftism.
- 28:52The far leftism or the progressivism is you don't keep them in jail forever.
- 28:57You don't, you know, uh capital punishment, which I think is too light, by the way, but anyway, uh people will disagree with me.
- 29:04But you're you're hitting on a theme here in the last my several articles and what I'll be having coming out here shortly on America Outlaw and other places as well, is you mentioned it up front about the bipolar for example.
- 29:17What the left understands is through their vehement rhetoric, their nasty rhetoric of calling people fascist dictators, etc.
- 29:28Okay, it paints them as evil, and they know there are a number of these fringe elements out there, whether they just got released from prison or others, there's a number of fringe elements out there.
- 29:38And these fringe elements, they know what they will be following them, and they will incite them to specifically do specific acts of violence.
- 29:47Yeah.
- 29:47Or they're shooting the ice officers, or they're stabbing a young lady in the neck on a subway, where it's setting someone on fire, okay, or they're running someone over because they're trying to enforce the law.
- 29:59Okay.
- 30:00Like all these things they know will take place.
- 30:03Okay, the two assassinations against Trump where there is very muted responses from across the board, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, okay.
- 30:11All these continued attacks are only getting worse and worse.
- 30:15They are.
- 30:15But you see the progressive left double down on the rhetoric.
- 30:19And why is that?
- 30:20Because they understand this rhetoric is purposely enabling that small percentage of the psychotics to act.
- 30:28And then they'll feign the feigned disbelief and that they had no part in it.
- 30:33Okay.
- 30:33Yeah.
- 30:34But they're directly causing these types of things to happen.
- 30:37And this is where you get that group thinking mentality, and then it builds.
- 30:41And that's where you saw, for example, the the free Palestine demonstrations, the anti-Semitic widespread anti-Semitism that swept throughout the United States, okay?
- 30:51Yes.
- 30:51These are the results of well thought of strategies the progressive left is using in this cognitive warfare.
- 30:58And it creates the anarchy, the instability, and some subversion by which they can take advantage of.
- 31:04I agree with you to some extent, but uh maybe to a large extent, because yeah, just just the culture, if you will, of um of violence, the culture, right?
- 31:16Do you remember Maxine Waters?
- 31:17She was in Washington, D.C., she was in a street corner, and she says, you go up to, you know, those people, meaning the Trump people, you go up to them face to face.
- 31:26Remember that?
- 31:26So uh I mean that's part of part of it.
- 31:29But I think, for example, the individual who killed with a knife, that poor young, beautiful girl in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- 31:39Uh I I don't know that he has left-wing ideology behind it, but but in a culture of violence, he it certainly would uh uh bet or enable if that's what you're saying.
- 31:52Yes, but remember also the narrative of the left was that all white people are bad.
- 31:58Okay.
- 31:59So the narrative Yeah, but they're white themselves.
- 32:02The majority are more many of them are themselves.
- 32:06But yeah, but the individual that doesn't matter, the individual that murdered the lady in the subway on the subway with the knife.
- 32:13Yes, he was black, okay.
- 32:15She was white.
- 32:16So as I noted my article, their narratives are intent on dehumanizing any opposition.
- 32:21If policies promote the rights of felons, murderers, rapists, those over law abiding citizens.
- 32:27Yeah.
- 32:28Yes, unfortunately.
- 32:29Yes.
- 32:30Are for the disruption of society and societal norms, okay, by misappropriating fringe elements.
- 32:36And their actions abuse the trust of the American people, because these are elected officials.
- 32:41Okay.
- 32:42So but these are all not separate events.
- 32:45These are all interrelated, different facets, different means to cause the chaos and alarm in America.
- 32:52And why?
- 32:53Because then they can subvert Trump.
- 32:55So they create the crisis under Biden.
- 32:58Now they're claiming the victimhood and blaming it on Trump.
- 33:01And they're very effective at that because of the short-term memory people have.
- 33:05So they blame what they just created on Trump, so then they can come back and rescue us from the hell they just created.
- 33:11It's like uh uh Byron McDonald's uh the candidate for Republican governor said this morning asking the arsonist to put out the fire.
- 33:19Yes, yes.
- 33:20Yeah, that's that's a good uh analogy, but I would differ with you about just Biden.
- 33:25I mean, go back even more, go back to Obama uh uh and prior to that.
- 33:30Where were the seeds placed?
- 33:32Well, if you really study this, I I think the seeds are likely many years ago, uh, you know, even maybe prior to Obama.
- 33:40I agree with you.
- 33:41It's been decades.
- 33:42It's been decades, it's been the last six decades.
- 33:45Yeah.
- 33:46The last six plus decades, this has been underwork.
- 33:48No, this isn't just starting off.
- 33:50That's that's like so that's a great point, Frank.
- 33:52I mean, you raise is people need to understand this is the subtle aspect you highlighted.
- 33:56This has subtly been going on in this norm, the psychological warfare.
- 34:00This cognitive warfare has been subtly going on for the last several decades.
- 34:04Well, so it's so much so that most Americans think the Civil Rights Act was passed because of uh Democrats, not because of Republicans.
- 34:14A lot of people still think today that that the Republicans were the slave owners, not the black uh not the Democrats, okay.
- 34:21And a lot of people think that the control laws were Republican policies.
- 34:25No, those are Democrat slave owner policies.
- 34:28But this is how effective that narrative has become.
- 34:31Right.
- 34:32In fact, there were there were a number of slave owners who were black themselves, right?
- 34:35Um, okay.
- 34:36I I'm gonna jump to something, and and this is where the hardball comes in, maybe.
- 34:41So, in terms of the intra national cognitive war, listen to this.
- 34:46This is based on Gallup polling, 2024, early this year, 2025.
- 34:51If you look at the Democratic Party itself, or Democrat Party, of that whole party, 49 and 50 percent consider themselves liberal slash progressive.
- 35:04Now, if you look at Pew Research, 16% of the Democrat Party consider themselves very liberal, which I would interpret as progressive left.
- 35:1634 to 43 percent consider themselves moderate, and six to twelve percent consider themselves conservative.
- 35:25So you have, let's see here, you have 53 half, maybe a little more than half of the Democrat Party consider themselves moderate to conservative.
- 35:36Uh, and then you have below 20 percent, 16 percent, at least per Pew research, and this is not scientific because I'm mixing up different polls.
- 35:4616 percent.
- 35:47So I'm not a purist here, uh, consider themselves very liberal.
- 35:51So I want to talk about separate articles you wrote.
- 35:55What one of them is understanding terror and tyranny, or renamed the radical left's quest for absolute power is deafening in America allowed us.
- 36:03So I'm gonna read a paragraph to you.
- 36:05This is what you wrote, and I'm gonna have you comment the other end.
- 36:08So the terror, violence, anarchy, assault, indoctrination, radical influence we see today in America are not new.
- 36:15We must understand how to stop it.
- 36:18Uh the narratives fuel this evil.
- 36:20Uh we see policies, issues, and actions of radical left ideologues.
- 36:25That there's no moral equivalency in history or today to what the radical left is unleashing.
- 36:31Then uh the narratives are intent on dehumanizing any opposition.
- 36:35You mentioned that leftist policies promote the rights of felon murderers, rapists, and the like over those of law-abiding citizens.
- 36:43Their issues advance the disruption of societal scientific and legal norms by misappropriating fringe elements, uh, transgenders, pedophiles, drag queens, antifa, to use their victims.
- 36:53I would say, I would argue that they use these fringe elements as vehicles of their ideology as much as representing their ideology.
- 37:02So let me stop there and have you comment.
- 37:06Yeah, well, um I I agree is that but that's where they create these people as victims.
- 37:12So transgender pedophile, great queens and antifa, okay.
- 37:16People just don't understand them.
- 37:17So they create them as victims, and then they use them as their weapons in this in this fight.
- 37:22And when you talk about the percentages of Democrats who think that they're moderate or conservative stuff, well, you have to dig deeper as to what does that actually mean.
- 37:32Because today's Democratic Party doesn't resemble the party 60 years ago.
- 37:38Oh no.
- 37:39It's extremely far left and extremely far left.
- 37:44Kennedy would have been a Kennedy would have been a Republican, or at least a left-leaning Republican.
- 37:51Maybe Kennedy would have been thrown out of the Democratic Party, and just as they're trying to throw out John Fetterman, Senator John Fetterman.
- 37:58Yeah, he's evolving.
- 37:58He's evolving.
- 37:59Hold that thought.
- 38:01Hold that thought.
- 38:02Hold that thought.
- 38:03We're going to take another commercial break, and when we come back, we're going to have uh Mr.
- 38:07Hoglin expound here on uh what he has written.
- 38:11Thanks.

- 39:18Welcome back, everybody, with uh we're privileged to have, I'm privileged for sure, to have uh Mr.
- 39:24Ed Huglin.
- 39:26So Ed, I'm gonna read a couple other things here that uh I think resonate with a lot of people.
- 39:31So this is the same article you wrote, uh understanding terror and tyranny.
- 39:36You wrote here, for example, the leg uh level of cognitive dissonance is astounding, given the recent recorded history of tyrants like Stalin or Mao, current tyrant tyrants like Zee and Putin, and the rapid advancement of radical left progressives like Mr.
- 39:51Zoran Mundhabi and Miss uh Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
- 39:56Why in the hell does anyone applaud fund or advance them?
- 39:59Or for that matter.
- 40:00Matter.
- 40:00Listen to the like-minded radical zealots like Senator Sanders, oh my goodness, or Warren, even better, or governors like Holka or Waltz.
- 40:08Doesn't the fact that these so-called socialists are all millionaires?
- 40:12I uh send signs of massive hypocrisy.
- 40:16Yes.
- 40:17We see so many unwilling to call out the evil emanating from these individuals.
- 40:21And so many more coward from speaking the truth for fear of reprisal.
- 40:25I gather the conservatives and Republicans.
- 40:28So I hand that to you.
- 40:31Well, not just conservative and Republicans.
- 40:33Okay.
- 40:34So look at how many lawmakers have told law enforcement officers in ICE and other places, and in people in the military.
- 40:43You best beware, because if you do this to like Senator John Kelly, who uh was part of that video talking about not following illegal orders, okay.
- 40:53Yes.
- 40:54If they are threatening our military members, they're threatening our law enforcement members with retribution should they get back in office.
- 41:03And given the last several decades, okay, and especially the last 10 years of reprisals, law affairs, cancel culture, and other things, and deplatforming and other things.
- 41:15This is a chilling effect on people overall because people are stupid enough to vote these people back into office and hand them more power.
- 41:25And when they do that, I'm laughing, but I'm crying.
- 41:28I'm crying at the same time.
- 41:29I'm not laughing at you.
- 41:31I'm agreeing with you.
- 41:32Well, they're gonna take, but they're taking they're taking this power and they've shown what they're gonna do with it.
- 41:36Okay, that the storm they were gonna destroy individuals who oppose them.
- 41:40No free speech for you.
- 41:42No free lunch for you, only for our legals, the friends who we want to become our new uh members of our 21st century plantation dependency.
- 41:51Okay, so they're doing this purposeful.
- 41:53So what's that tell you?
- 41:54Is that eventually, just as it said in World War II, I forgot who the quote came from.
- 41:59If if they don't come for you today, they will come for you tomorrow.
- 42:02Okay, you'll be next on the list.
- 42:04So you have to speak out.
- 42:06You have to take action.
- 42:07You have to take a look at their policies and what they're voting on.
- 42:10The Democrats right now are not running on any positive policies.
- 42:14The shutdown of the government was so they could fund illegal health care for millions of illegals.
- 42:20Why?
- 42:21Because they want to get their votes and give them free passage to vote when they get back in office.
- 42:26I mean, I have a counter counter-argument of that, not an argument, but observation.
- 42:30You know what?
- 42:31It doesn't matter because just myself, they would just go to the emergency room.
- 42:35It doesn't matter to have funding or not have funding.
- 42:37They they implicitly do.
- 42:39That they get sick, they go to the emergency rooms.
- 42:42Every emergency room in the United States, 99.99%, is bound by the Hippocratic Oath, etc., to take uh patients no matter where they come from or their status, legal or not legal, in.
- 42:56Okay, so you know so on that point, Franco.
- 42:59Take a look at the change since Trump's been in office.
- 43:02Before Trump came in office, I would go to the emergency room for something, okay, and it would be packed as you said.
- 43:08Yes, mostly with illegals.
- 43:11Now today I can walk in the emergency room, I can get what I need.
- 43:15It's a little it's okay, it's a little better.
- 43:18It's actually more than a little better.
- 43:21Yes, you're you're in Fairfracts County, though, okay.
- 43:24Oh, yes.
- 43:24I I've traveled different places, uh Delaware, Tennessee, and others, okay?
- 43:28Dramatic shift, dramatic shift.
- 43:31Yeah, yeah.
- 43:32There is, and I I see patients in the Midwest as well.
- 43:35So yeah, to that point that uh you're right about that.
- 43:38Okay, here's another pair.
- 43:39Yeah, yes, I'll give you that.
- 43:41Uh the radical left leverages years of tried and true revolutionary tactics and techniques, hiding behind various veils to cloak their efforts, as you've been saying.
- 43:51The use of ideology, religion, or issues, blah, blah, blah.
- 43:54You mentioned that as ways to advance their quest for absolute power.
- 43:57The magnetism, magnetism, magnetism, and seduction of evil are great.
- 44:03So that's a powerful sentence you just wrote there.
- 44:06Um we have seen so many souls seduced by the seven deadly sins of pride, envy, gluttony, greed, lust, sloth, and wrath.
- 44:15Rather than fight for what is right, they succumbed.
- 44:18So you're talking about Democrats themselves, too.
- 44:21But we must ask, why not do uh why now do we see the level of dehumanization, false narratives, and calls for violence ramping up?
- 44:30Well, here we go again.
- 44:31I was mentioning money.
- 44:32So it's not only George Soros, I mean he's the most the well-known, but there are a lot of billionaires that are giving money.
- 44:40Because without money, without funding, if there were no money going to Iran or from Iran or funneled into Iran to go to ISIS, uh uh, well, ISIS, but more Hamas and uh Hezbollah and the Houthis, they wouldn't be in existence.
- 44:58I would argue.
- 45:00You're actually right.
- 45:01But that you point out a very important point here.
- 45:04So this is where if you take a look at the fraud the Trump administration is exposed.
- 45:09Uh first, look at the non-governmental organizations which received hundreds of billions in dollars to spew anti-American stuff and promote anti-American stuff, including Hamas supporting Hamas, okay, in Gaza.
- 45:22True.
- 45:22Okay.
- 45:23Then take a look at the Somalia situation, not only in Minnesota, but across the nation, okay, the fraud, the rampant fraud that's occurred.
- 45:31Oh, it's and look at the shovel ready jobs under Obama.
- 45:35Look at the uh inflation reduction act under O'Biden, where they spent two trillion dollars on their friends.
- 45:42The money is powerful here, and and part of this whole thing has had cut does come back to money because these people want their free train rides back.
- 45:52Yes.
- 45:52How about funding funding campaigns?
- 45:55Funding funding campaigns, right?
- 45:58No, not just funding campaigns, but funding their friends who, yeah, then who will fund their campaigns, but funding their friends who will make hundreds of millions of dollars off this stuff.
- 46:06Yeah.
- 46:07I mean, how many solar panel companies started under Obama and Biden that it then folded because they didn't do crap?
- 46:13Well, Ed, how about the about this?
- 46:16Sorry, sorry, we're interrupting each other, but this the whole Somali issue.
- 46:20Do you know there's there's many Americans, American citizens in in high places who are making a lot of money off of this too?
- 46:28To your point, to your point.
- 46:31The the Somali fraud, and and by the way, there's there's the fraud where we did a show on fraud, what a couple years a few years ago.
- 46:39It's overwhelming.
- 46:40But there are true blooded Americans who are involved in this, who who kind of go on the uh the shoulders of these fraudsters, the Somalis, they're just as bad, or they're enabling it for their own purpose.
- 46:57But but these are Americans, and and some of them could be Republicans too.
- 47:02I I I don't know that it matters, but they're uh yeah, a lot of them are not, many uh maybe the majority are not, but you have Republicans, you have all kinds of people who are evil.
- 47:13Yes, but this is this is part of the aspect of cognitive warfare here.
- 47:18It's not about the ideology, the religion, or the specific issues like transgenderism.
- 47:22The end goal is power, absolute power.
- 47:25Why?
- 47:25It's the money.
- 47:26Look at Venezuela.
- 47:27Venezuela is a very profitable, uh, robust economic country.
- 47:32Was right?
- 47:34Okay, and then they get the likes of AOC, Mandami, and other stuff in the in the in the form of Duro, okay, and he shut all that down.
- 47:42Why?
- 47:42Because they now control the money, they control the benefits, just like China, communist China, just like the former Soviet Union, okay.
- 47:50This is where they're going, people.
- 47:51It's not about utopia for all, okay?
- 47:54It's utopia for them and controlling the rest of you all.
- 47:58By the way, where this war is got is so dangerous.
- 48:02And these are not necessarily all intelligent people.
- 48:04Some of them are very intelligent, but I I would say these um leftist heart, you know, progressive leftists in the house, like you say, Ocasio Cortez.
- 48:13Well, she's a media figure.
- 48:14She was given why she's good looking, she's pretty, um, she speaks well, but she's pretty stupid as far as I'm concerned.
- 48:22Um stupid, meaning not very intelligent, not very thoughtful, put it that way.
- 48:27Jasmine Crockett is another one.
- 48:29And and Elon Omar is another one.
- 48:31They're not very intelligent, I don't think.
- 48:34Now, look at Henry Kissinger, look at uh the Secretary of State under Bush, uh Condoleezza Rice.
- 48:40I mean, these are really states people, very, very, very intelligent.
- 48:45But but they would not want to run for president.
- 48:49They just wouldn't.
- 48:50Maybe they're too smart for it.
- 48:51They don't want to have that degree of powder.
- 48:53I I'm on a tangent.
- 48:54I'm on a tangent, I know that.
- 48:57Well, what you're highlighting, though, is is they is the cloak, the cover they're using, okay.
- 49:02So they use a young person like AOC or Mamdami who doesn't know crap, who's complete idiot.
- 49:07Okay, or they use a more educated person who has as Joe Biden said, uh, you know, uh has an ability to Obama, okay?
- 49:17So use those people to draw magnetism, but it cloaks like for Obama, they covered up all his insane radical left stuff.
- 49:25They covered up his church and his radical left church, which is which is completely racist in terms of the ribbon right, what they were doing.
- 49:33Okay, they covered up the fact that he was dealing with these uh Bill Ayers, the former uh terrorists, okay, and other stuff.
- 49:40And so they quote these things and make people feel good about it.
- 49:44Remember uh the whole Obama thing was about uh hope, uh hope and and and stuff like that.
- 49:51Yes, yes, yeah.
- 49:52That that was their slogan.
- 49:53Yes.
- 49:54Yeah, and it resonated.
- 49:56It it resonates, but it resonates with people because people want to feel good.
- 50:00But people don't look at the reality.
- 50:02And when that happens, that's why you lose it all.
- 50:04Yeah.
- 50:05Well, well, and this is another point that you wrote here in your book.
- 50:10You wrote Americans voted in the 2024 to end anarchy violence, murderous assaults, abuse of power, and rampant illegal invasion of our country.
- 50:19The elected officials who lost that election were on the cusp of obtaining their ultimate goal, absolute power.
- 50:25Meaning, well, God forbid Biden again, but uh Kamala Harris.
- 50:29The loss was uh an unexpected shock.
- 50:31So I I'm gonna say this that my thought is that a very high percentage of voters vote um both Democrat and Republican, but I think mainly Democrat vote for personality and are not very thoughtful of who they vote for.
- 50:49So if you look at all the potential voters or people who did vote for Kamala Harris, and you talk to them, and they did.
- 50:57They said she makes me feel good.
- 50:59She makes me feel well.
- 51:00I I feel more relaxed when I when I hear her voice.
- 51:04Um not thinking at all.
- 51:07This is the psychology of the voters.
- 51:09Uh not thinking at all what a complete and utter economic disaster, international disaster, you name it, would have would have happened.
- 51:20And thank God, a whole string of events occurred, such as that bullet did not penetrate the skull of Donald Trump.
- 51:28That's number one.
- 51:30Number two, just enough people.
- 51:32I I don't know if I would call it a landslide, but enough people voted for him and utterly and realized that Kamala Harris is a fake.
- 51:40But she got many, many, many votes, as often happens in these elections, because individuals uh the they uh they felt good, right?
- 51:52They were Nixon, Nixon Kennedy, there you go.
- 51:55The first debate that they had in what was it, 1959 or 1960?
- 52:00Kennedy presented himself as a very, very handsome man.
- 52:03Um Nixon, on the other hand, didn't come across that well on television.
- 52:10And so they voted for Kennedy.
- 52:12Well, I think at that point in time it was a good vote, but nonetheless, that's what that's what people see.
- 52:19They state they vote with their eyes.
- 52:23Well, so what you're yeah, what you're highlighting though is something that's very tried and true throughout the decades for liberals versus conservatives.
- 52:31Liberals then tend to be emotional and vote emotionally.
- 52:35Conservatives tend to be logical and vote more logically, and it's shown throughout these different elections.
- 52:40In the last election, people forget not only there's there's still massive fraud occurring, but the Biden administration had already enabled two plus million illegals to vote illegally.
- 52:53Here I go again.
- 52:54I'm laughing, but I'm crying.
- 52:56Yes.
- 52:56Yes, but remember now Trump only won by two million votes, okay.
- 53:01That election, that's why they were so shocked when he won.
- 53:04Because the get out the vote thing for the Republicans actually worked.
- 53:07But just think if he had not won.
- 53:10Think of where we'd be right now.
- 53:11I don't want to.
- 53:12Okay, not only no gas stoves, no gas lawnmower, but your energy prices would be worse than New Jersey and California's, okay?
- 53:20The country should be going down a tank hole.
- 53:22I think China be advancing extremely Russia would walk across Europe, okay.
- 53:29And and and walk through the EU because they're completely in up.
- 53:33And so, and our national debt would be skyrocketing off the sheets right now.
- 53:39Inflation would be going Venezuelan way.
- 53:41And so people forget you have to take a look at what was going to be sort of like the ghosts of Christmas past, future, and present, right?
- 53:51Yeah, I mean, you're pretty history.
- 53:52You're pretty his where the hardball comes in.
- 53:54You're you're pretty historianic.
- 53:56I mean, to some degree, I agree on it.
- 53:58I agree, of course.
- 54:00But I I don't know.
- 54:01I mean, you would have a mass exodus to to Ireland, I guess.
- 54:05I I would probably want to bring myself and my wife.
- 54:07No, Rosie O'Donnell went there.
- 54:09No one's gonna want to go there.
- 54:10She's not gonna stay there, by the way.
- 54:12I I don't know.
- 54:13So my insight, my insiders tell me that.
- 54:15Okay, here you go.
- 54:16The support for Mondami, AOC, Waltz Warren, etc.
- 54:19is exemplary of the success of the radical left.
- 54:21The radical left is demonic, and we must not be afraid to state that this is a fact.
- 54:27And I hope you're also alluding to moderate democrats and conservative democrats as well.
- 54:33Their success is because the radical left does have a strategy, a plan is and is successful waging this war on multiple fronts, domestically and globally.
- 54:42Well, let me bring something in here, the youth, the youth vote.
- 54:46So Charles Krautheimer, bless his soul.
- 54:49I I I just really, really you remember him, Charles Krautheimer.
- 54:52Yeah, oh yeah.
- 54:53Oh, a wonderful person.
- 54:54He was a psychiatrist, and by the way, he did a lot of leading research on bipolar disorder.
- 55:00And but but then he went into uh studying I gathered the human mind and became a political commentator and writer.
- 55:09And I think was just on on target just most of the time there.
- 55:14So the youth vote, uh, they're very young people are very impressionable, very impressive.
- 55:20But if you look at these, uh some of them were hired, but Hamas uh demonstrations at Columbia and every many, many universities, and you had older people there too.
- 55:29Those were the people who were paid, but younger people, but students, um, they know not what they're doing or not what they're saying.
- 55:37And this is what he said.
- 55:39He says, look, give them some years, have them get married, have children, have a mortgage, see the realities of life, and and many of them will move to the right and move towards conservativism.
- 55:54And they're not gonna vote anymore.
- 55:55So they're immature, they're impressionable.
- 55:58And and that's that's a large voting block.
- 56:00I remember at my graduation, uh, undergraduate graduation, and she remembered Jean Kirkpatrick, she came, she was a professor in Georgetown, and and even and and there were a bunch of people around me, they were my friends, they had these black armband bands.
- 56:15And he said, I said, What what are you doing?
- 56:18And they said, I don't know, we're protesting.
- 56:20And I said, What are you protesting?
- 56:22Do you know what they said to me?
- 56:24They said, I don't know, we're just protesting.
- 56:26Here, you put one on.
- 56:27Yeah, I said, Well, I'm not gonna protest something, I don't know what I'm protesting about.
- 56:30So CBS News came up to them, and we're asking them, you know, what are you protesting?
- 56:36What are you protesting?
- 56:37They couldn't answer.
- 56:38And and then the the guy, I'll never forget the reporter came back.
- 56:41He said, you know, you did a shitty job of representing yourself.
- 56:46I'll never forget that.
- 56:47Yeah.
- 56:48Just so just the romanticism of protesting, the romanticism of belonging to the far left, without thinking about the implications.
- 56:58Well, well, so two quick points there.
- 57:00One is Question Churchill said, uh, if before you're 30, you don't vote liberal, you don't have a heart.
- 57:08After 30, if you don't vote conservative, you don't have a brain.
- 57:11Ed, thank you so much for sharing your valuable insights.
- 57:14Now, not only from an academic perspective, but your extensive uh on the ground uh with boots yourself, extensive experience.
- 57:24Well, Dr.
- 57:25Mijo Franco, it's always a pleasure.
