Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The Tree of Life painting. Talk about that, what is
- 0:06Speaker 1: the significance of that? And there's a story with Sean Carter.
- 0:10Speaker 2: God we might know is involved in Jaz.
- 0:16Speaker 1: May have heard of him, jay Z what's the story
- 0:19Speaker 1: will have man?
- 0:23Speaker 3: So basically, so when Treehouse open up, we wanted to
- 0:25Speaker 3: create this painting. So with Morrows, you know Morrows, like
- 0:28Speaker 3: people would line up. I would sit in front of
- 0:30Speaker 3: Morrow's in my car and whilst people get dressed up,
- 0:33Speaker 3: come take a picture in front the sign. When we
- 0:37Speaker 3: got that sign, I had the option to get this
- 0:39Speaker 3: little wood sign. I'll pay more and get this aluminum
- 0:41Speaker 3: illuminated sign. I'm like, I want the wool one. I
- 0:44Speaker 3: want the one that you know people could take pictures
- 0:46Speaker 3: in front of little did I know that I would
- 0:48Speaker 3: set myself up.
- 0:49Speaker 2: To create a photo drop.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Everybody would take pictures in front of every celebrity you
- 0:54Speaker 3: could think that will come and take these pictures.
- 0:56Speaker 2: And so.
- 0:58Speaker 3: It was a big hit and it helped, you know,
- 1:00Speaker 3: you know, like circulate around social media. So I'm like,
- 1:03Speaker 3: you know what, when we go in the Treehouse, I
- 1:04Speaker 3: want a photo drop. I want somewhere for people to
- 1:06Speaker 3: take pictures. So we created that at Treehouse and the
- 1:11Speaker 3: way it came about there was a friend of mine,
- 1:13Speaker 3: Kendel furan genius when it comes to you know, art
- 1:16Speaker 3: and just with what he does, he's a dope person.
- 1:19Speaker 2: He was like. He came looked at it and he
- 1:22Speaker 2: was like yo, Like I'm like, yo, look I want this.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I want to paint here. I don't know what I
- 1:25Speaker 2: wanted to be.
- 1:26Speaker 3: So we just started pondering our ideas and we was like,
- 1:28Speaker 3: I'm like, I want a picture at jay Z.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But that also come from theoria.
- 1:31Speaker 3: She also mentioned something about like, you know, putting somebody
- 1:35Speaker 3: like it was gonna do. Wayne was thinking about different
- 1:36Speaker 3: people to put but we came up with an idea
- 1:38Speaker 3: of like, you know, jay Z and turning his head
- 1:41Speaker 3: into like a tree or something right, and it was
- 1:43Speaker 3: the idea.
- 1:44Speaker 2: We didn't really know it was gonna look the way
- 1:45Speaker 2: it looked.
- 1:46Speaker 3: So it was like I got the perfect person for this.
- 1:47Speaker 3: So he called Jerrion and Geren came over, a dope artist,
- 1:53Speaker 3: local cool dude, and we started to develop this idea.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And so we all came up with this idea and
- 1:59Speaker 3: then I told him like, yo, look like hole gonna
- 2:01Speaker 3: take a picture in front of this all right, both
- 2:04Speaker 3: didn't take a picture in front of it. But after
- 2:05Speaker 3: you know, we got the painting up went viral. You
- 2:08Speaker 3: got fab taking pictures in front of it, everybody who
- 2:10Speaker 3: come to the Treehouse taking pictures in front of it,
- 2:12Speaker 3: and a few friends sent it over to Emory's J
- 2:15Speaker 3: and everybody and J wanted to buy it. And so
- 2:18Speaker 3: he wanted to buy it to put it in a
- 2:20Speaker 3: rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and uh so he
- 2:22Speaker 3: pursed the painting and he put it in the Rock
- 2:24Speaker 3: and Roll Hall of Fame. And I went to, Uh,
- 2:26Speaker 3: I was in Cleveland for All Star weekend and I
- 2:28Speaker 3: went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and
- 2:29Speaker 3: I saw this photo and then had my name on
- 2:31Speaker 3: side in the Treehouse and uh, you know jerm Bee's
- 2:34Speaker 3: and it was dope, you know, because you know, it's like,
- 2:36Speaker 3: you know, what's been happening in my life. I've been
- 2:38Speaker 3: projecting a lot of things into the universe, and it's
- 2:40Speaker 3: like it happens because of you know, just like just
- 2:44Speaker 3: just knowing it will, you know, and and praying and
- 2:46Speaker 3: just like being thankful for the opportunity and just everything
- 2:49Speaker 3: that's going on. So when whole like when I got
- 2:52Speaker 3: to call like hold want to buy him? Like Yo,
- 2:54Speaker 3: that's dope. And honestly, I didn't want to let the
- 2:56Speaker 3: painting go, but it's it was bigger than me, you know,
- 2:58Speaker 3: it was big. I would have felt like a sucking
- 3:00Speaker 3: not you know, letting that peyton fly because you know
- 3:02Speaker 3: it's gonna help you know, an artist from New Orleans
- 3:06Speaker 3: and they'll open up more doors for just all of us,
- 3:08Speaker 3: you know.
- 3:09Speaker 2: So did you speak to him directly or just somebody?
- 3:12Speaker 3: No?
- 3:12Speaker 2: No, No, I spoke to his team.
- 3:13Speaker 3: They reached out and we was going it was negotiating
- 3:15Speaker 3: for like two months about the prices.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I did they ever pull up? I feel
- 3:23Speaker 2: like I've seen pictures was maybe with Salon's just Salon.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Did anybody from the team pull up to the Treeols
- 3:28Speaker 4: prior to leaving the Payton leaving?
- 3:30Speaker 2: No? But it was like a big rollout, like erness,
- 3:33Speaker 2: what's up?

- 5:23Speaker 5: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 5:27Speaker 5: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 5:31Speaker 5: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 5:35Speaker 5: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 5:39Speaker 5: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 5:43Speaker 5: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 5:47Speaker 5: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 5:52Speaker 5: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 5:55Speaker 5: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 5:59Speaker 5: were here illegal your next you will be fine nearly
- 6:02Speaker 5: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 6:07Speaker 5: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 6:10Speaker 5: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Do what's right leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 6:19Speaker 5: border and families will be protected.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Home mad Security.
- 6:24Speaker 3: He came video the whole thing because this was like
- 6:26Speaker 3: because the paint was so big that like you couldn't
- 6:29Speaker 3: just ship it, like they had to drive it to Cleveland.
- 6:32Speaker 3: They had to come. Like so they came in. It's
- 6:34Speaker 3: almost like who's in the funeral home. Like it came
- 6:36Speaker 3: with big old boxes shit put it on and like
- 6:39Speaker 3: just like wrapped everything up hundred times and just to
- 6:42Speaker 3: ensure that it was safe.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And it was like a whole production.
- 6:46Speaker 3: And they recorded the whole little thing shipped to Cleveland
- 6:50Speaker 3: and they put it in his frame.
- 6:52Speaker 4: And you thought you was gonna be a rapper, right,
- 6:55Speaker 4: that didn't work, but you still ended up in the
- 6:57Speaker 4: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Damn look at God. Right, Let's talk about expansion, man.
- 7:03Speaker 4: The last time we saw you, uh, we were having
- 7:06Speaker 4: a great time in the city of Houston. Let's talk
- 7:09Speaker 4: about where Mars is going. Are there more cities that
- 7:12Speaker 4: you're looking to expand into. Obviously I'm gonna be biased
- 7:15Speaker 4: that because we're in New York and there's no oysters
- 7:18Speaker 4: like yours. So like, what's the deal with expansion for
- 7:21Speaker 4: the brand?
- 7:22Speaker 2: So we're coming to New York for sure.
- 7:24Speaker 3: That's like, you know, my relationship with New York like all,
- 7:27Speaker 3: like majority of my friends outside of New Orleans are
- 7:29Speaker 3: from New York.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Got some cool homies from there.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Man, you got a lot of New York.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean once you have to pay attention to that,
- 7:37Speaker 4: you know.
- 7:38Speaker 2: But what's crazy?
- 7:38Speaker 3: I was that kid, like you know, imagine like being
- 7:40Speaker 3: raised in New Orleans and you're watching these movies like
- 7:43Speaker 3: Paid Him Full and you're watching like I'm going, I'm
- 7:46Speaker 3: in high school, Like yo, what would.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Be I'm talking like I'm from New York, like not
- 7:50Speaker 2: from New York.
- 7:51Speaker 3: But it was like, you know, of course, like like
- 7:53Speaker 3: Justin Combs, he always tell me how he's influenced by
- 7:55Speaker 3: cash money, talking about cash money.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Come on, Justin Coles going crazy word for word.
- 8:00Speaker 3: And it's so dope to see because him being from
- 8:03Speaker 3: the East Coast, being younger than me when he's thirty
- 8:06Speaker 3: years old now, but being so influenced by all culture.
- 8:10Speaker 3: It's like it's the same thing. So me viewing it
- 8:12Speaker 3: from afar, it's like, Wow, I want to go to
- 8:14Speaker 3: New York. Right, twenty years old, I went to New
- 8:16Speaker 3: York and I met my homie Mail, Carter, Lonnie and
- 8:20Speaker 3: Loney Ray, my big brothers, and they exposed me to
- 8:22Speaker 3: this whole ecosystem in New York and.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Showed me something I never seen in New Orleans. I
- 8:28Speaker 2: was young.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I was twenty years old, twenty one years old, and
- 8:30Speaker 3: they out there, like you know, they picked me up
- 8:33Speaker 3: coloring ends I'm not the coloring of the race and
- 8:36Speaker 3: all that stuff, like just everything.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I'm like, man, what's like what these dudes? But it
- 8:41Speaker 2: was allowed me.
- 8:42Speaker 3: To see something Penthouse, craziest pinnhouse in Brooklyn Future and
- 8:46Speaker 3: everybody would come and like shoot videos there, and it
- 8:49Speaker 3: just allowed me to see something different than what I'm from.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Like we're from the swamps, beautiful city, right, but we
- 8:54Speaker 3: below sea level. You go to New York, it's a
- 8:56Speaker 3: little different. You go to la houses off the hill.
- 8:59Speaker 3: So when I started trap more and see things like
- 9:01Speaker 3: that's when I just started to open up more and
- 9:03Speaker 3: knew that, you know, these certain things were obtainable. So
- 9:07Speaker 3: you know, my relationship with New York is like, man,
- 9:09Speaker 3: like I love it, Like I tell my homies all
- 9:11Speaker 3: there I'm like, man, I'm half Brooklyn half New All
- 9:13Speaker 3: because they like all my friends, y'all know, Like, man,
- 9:16Speaker 3: they're from New York. So we're coming to New York.
- 9:20Speaker 3: We're going to Houston. We're going to Houston first. I
- 9:22Speaker 3: don't know if I should be saying this, but we
- 9:24Speaker 3: gotta roll mat Houston, Atlanta, New York, Miami. So for
- 9:29Speaker 3: like you know, somorrows, I don't want Morrows everywhere. I
- 9:32Speaker 3: want four Morrows. That's a game plan that can change.
- 9:34Speaker 3: But I know I can accomplish a goal I want
- 9:36Speaker 3: to accomplish by just getting four Morrows up throughout these
- 9:39Speaker 3: cities and expanding and like you know, I can be
- 9:43Speaker 3: at the round table discussion.
- 9:45Speaker 2: You know some numbers, you know, so that knows gonna happen.
- 9:56Speaker 5: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 10:00Speaker 5: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 10:04Speaker 5: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 10:08Speaker 5: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 10:12Speaker 5: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 10:16Speaker 5: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 10:19Speaker 5: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 10:24Speaker 5: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over

- 10:31Speaker 5: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 10:35Speaker 5: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will

- 10:43Speaker 5: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 10:46Speaker 5: Do what's right, leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 10:51Speaker 5: border and families will be protected.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
