- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to the show, Sherry.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Well, thanks for having me, gosh, it's so good to talk to you.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: We do this on a regular basis, though, don't we?
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: I know, we just talk like a half an hour off my mind.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: I know, so we can't be like, hey, how are you so good to be doing?
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, right.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes when we do this, when you're on my podcast, or when I mean, I forget what we said on the air, versus what we talked about.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I feel like everybody's really just sitting here listening to us, so you know, just chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-chit-
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: but I'm feeling fairly good about democracy, even those lots of bad things happening.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I might find a desire, I'm not sure yet, to kind of go back to the old version of this show, but I kind of, the one thing that I like what I've been doing in the last year is it's just been small and it's intimate and I just have people on that I feel very comfortable and safe with.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just like,
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I don't, I don't want to, I'm honored you feel comfortable to save around me, then that's good.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so, you know what, I'm not going to start with the midterms and I'm not going to start with Trump.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: What I am going to start, did, did you see the video there was a video put out by Adam Mockler about Lindsey Graham, have you seen it?
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: I've been reading about it.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen the video, but I've heard about it.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know what it is.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I just want to say that I'm not going to say who it is, but there was a man.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just say he was a man.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: And this was back.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I was maybe 2018, 2017.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: During Trump's first term told me that this guy who had worked on the Hill probably around the time you did.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: new, like new, that Lindsey Graham was paying basically underage prostitute males.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: And like that it was kind of common knowledge, a lot of people knew about it.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's just coming out and it's basically that.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: And there was this one guy who was talking about he was 17 years old.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm not going to get into all the details of it, but basically Lindsey Lindsey was fighting at it first, but then he liked it.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: But then there was another man that talked and it was very similar situation.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: There was three men that had a very similar situation with Lindsey, and he liked to be degraded.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I just want to say that we all knew Lindsey Graham was gay.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: This was not the big secret.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I knew this was what the deal was that he was paying underage prostitutes, male prostitutes.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what he did not want out.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's all coming out.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's interesting that he liked to be degraded.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it trumped a great time.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's the sex thing.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so, you know, I mean, but it's this I hate myself.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then like, mockler even showed a video of Lindsey back in the day being, I know, some reporter was following him and asking him questions.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then he said, I'm not gay.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: and he had his head down, and I mean, clearly wasn't we all knew it, and then he was, and then he went, and then he went and voted against, you know, gay rights, and so I just find it fascinating, that he liked to be degraded, and I mean, I'm not, I'm not saying this to be, um,
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that this degrading the degrading behavior came from him feeling bad about who he was.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not going to talk about what I heard because freaking gross.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, I'm just want to hear what you have to say.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, that's obviously his personality.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just created him and Trump obviously knew this stuff, which is what they had.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: on him.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now I first got to know Lindsey Graham and he was a freshman house member.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: He was part of the class that came in I think with Newton, you know, contact the American, all that.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: And he was on the committee where I was communications director.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so I took it upon myself sometimes to help guide these freshman members through the, you know, I would say, okay, here's the press, the red edict committee hearing.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the press, the room, the cameras are here.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: And he was, I loved him.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: He would take a, so are you telling me that
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: I would be really good idea and we loved him.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: He was so funny and then when there were some Washington Post reporters that were trying to kind of go around me and get some of these fresh remembers to talk about stuff, you know, I'd show up in the office because Lindsey Rambs staff would call me and I'd be there to kind of share this.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, yeah, at that time.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he was the one that we're talking about how busy the freshmen were and he was single.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so he made that he would interview with like Roll Call or the Hill or something.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you know, we're just so busy.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes the only woman I get to talk to is the elevator lady, you know.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember at one point people saying, oh, he's so busy and he's so nice.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: He looked like cute enough and we need to fix them up.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: So the women, some of the women seniors staff on the committee were,
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: to see if I know anybody nice for her.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's a grand, and I had this sorority sister who lived in the area, and she was a school teacher, and she kind of liked Southern men, and you know, that the, that's a preppy way, but I thought, well, I'm going to fix him up with my nice school teacher, sister.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: And all of this, you know, is coming back to me now, but no, but we've, we've obviously known forever, you know, Yeah, after that beer, we people started figuring it out.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: We've known that he was gay and who cares.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: Um, except, you know, it is hypocritical though.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the whole thing.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the whole thing.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and then, but then we have heard for some time that there were the, the, the prostitutes and the boys.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: So, When I heard that, oh, there's this big news coming out, um, about it, um,
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was Harry Cis and that muckler so I put it well it is muckler because I put it on my page.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm sure they're all covering it.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I was thinking this they had this build up like it was some big breaking news like it was a current seminar which is is only news if they're being a hypocrite, you know.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a fan of outing people, but um
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: It is it is hypocritical and well on the fact is these guys are speaking no one is dead And I guess you can't be sued for that right, so yeah, that's why this whole thing It's really distasteful To be honest.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not well this, but I do think it's important that we learn the truth because yeah When the truth I mean we should just I mean we all knew it, but we didn't have proof and I guess you could call this proof
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's not 100% more evidence than proof, but still, I think, again.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: We should question why this comes in, I mean, it's illegal.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: We should question why it's coming out now, why we couldn't have gotten out there before everybody knew.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, they all protect their own.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's because Republicans, as Republicans, it's the whole system, it's the whole establishment.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure there are Democrats that know there are certain things about them, that they we expose this, and they're going to expose that.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: I lived in this town for a long time.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: I worked on Capitol Hill for a long time.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: I just had lunch yesterday.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody hadn't seen a 25 years that I worked with a long time ago on Capitol Hill who is Republican but not a Trumper and we had a big long conversation about what we've learned about former colleagues and how we think of them.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: And the vast majority of Washington establishment types of her back then are not MAGA, and left the party there is outspoken as I am.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: But once you leave the system, people are very, very open about not being MAGA.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: But the others, because I remember when he became the nominee and Sean Spicer was calling me because he saw me tweeting something, you know, and he's like, you know, we all just have to
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting these messages.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: He was at the RNC at the time and Trump was about to be the nominee.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: We all knew it.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: I had, I, I was, I left the party the day after, um, registered him dependent the day after they nominated him.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: But the attitude was that we're all just going to hold our nose and he's not going to win in the fall, but we're going to come together and then he did win and some part of ways and others just stuck there, not because they believed in him.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm looking at
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: you know Dana Perino who I I would back and forth with her she couldn't stand she couldn't understand why her colleagues on the five you know um what's his name Erica what was his name the one that got fired I don't even remember yeah yeah and she was so shocked at her
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: colleagues, you know, and and they all just turned and became Maca so that they don't believe in it, but so they could preserve their positions, yeah, they're cognitive wheel, they could keep their TV gigs, their column, they're lobbying gigs, you know, still be a part of the loud and county ladies, your public and club with monthly lunches at the country club and stuff like that.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: And that's basically what Washington was in the first administration in the second administration is scary around here.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know, because these are not just mag of voters, Kimberly, these are people who are part of it, build it.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: They're pro Putin and all of that.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess because maybe I'm just sort of numbed to it all, but the news about Lindsey Graham, I'm just going, you know, I thought they were coming, when I heard the buildup, I thought they were coming up with something new, like it was a, it was a sitting senator.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: So to be honest, I think it's just a big nothing burger, and I don't think it's going to affect one vote.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't think it's going to affect any
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what, speaking about this whole magazine, I want to ask you, what is the, like, why do you think Megan Kelly is so especially cruel?
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I just, I don't know if you heard the latest, Christina Applegate has come out and said that she does not have MS. She was misdiagnosed and she's upset because she doesn't know what it is.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: And Megan Kelly said that she was crying because she's no longer the face of MS.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: and that these these celebrities that come out and you know make a whole thing about it.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: These celebrities that come out do it after they've probably experienced their own wave of grief.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: They know people are going to find out and they also know, you know, as long as I got this thing, I might be able to help other people.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: You look at Michael J.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Fox.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: you're not going to hide it.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, if you're something I had a lot of social media followers and everything.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I told people, you know, and I did, and through that, when I started learning things, and I found out that cancer patients when they're in treatment, especially they all help each other with how to keep people down.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: And recipes, and different things.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: And there were some people that really, really helped me.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: So I thought, you know, I can help other people
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, when you hear a false out from chemo, mine came out in the front like months later.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: It was really weird.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: But they, my doctor say, we don't know.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: That stuff happens to everybody in different ways.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I found out that putting a little bit of row gain for women in the front there after a few months, not right away helped.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I, you get the CBS brand.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: things like that helps that little, you know, the hair goes back a little bit.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: There's recipes.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: When you're going through treatment, keep a jar of no sugar added peanut butter with a spoon in it by your side, you know.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so for making Kelly to come forward and do that, here's the thing about her.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: She's so bitter about what happened to her.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't believe she's never been mega not really she's all for Megan and it was actually something that kind of helped her being not so mega at Fox at first And then she got her big Fox affiliate show and even even ride your rails is making fun about that and that's when she started kissing Trump's butt
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then she goes to NBC where she didn't have a natural audience.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: She, these were mostly women watching in the morning.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: So the whole evening high-end escort look wasn't working for her.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: That she was going for in the way she put, you know, dressed in everything in her evening show at Fox News, different audience.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't working.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: They were overpaying her.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they took their first out when she made the comment about Blackface.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: She's been so diverse.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: So what does she do?
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: she has to find an audience.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't believe a word that comes out of her own mouth.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, she's so cynical about the whole biz that she's like, fine, I'll just go where the eyeballs are.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'll just show people that I can get my audience and why she has found Kimberly is the nastiest mega idiots and ass hats that love this stuff and they've been feed on it just like trump does
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: numbers of eyeballs and listeners.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so making these outrageous comments like she's been doing pretty horrible stuff.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think she has a conscious anymore.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's all about Megan and she will say anything or do anything to shock people.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: if it gets them talking about her and guess what we're sitting here talking about her.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well that's true and I keep thinking about her children.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean the things that her children are seeing.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: She's so mean and you know I mean she said horrible things about the Cornell Jane Doe.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, when it came out, I don't even know what the fucking story was about men and pedophiles and she's like well It's not like they were nine.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's like 15 okay a 50-year-old man is fine with a 15-year-old girl I mean she's horrendous and I feel like you know Her children what do they what are they getting from her?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: God only knows what those are defending yeah defending the abstine stuff and she's got a teenage daughter
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's just it's disgusting and you're right.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we're taught, but it's like I, you know, I scroll my feet and I do my very best to Kind of filter out to a lot of it and and try to stick to just like the news that's really affecting the way, but then I see that and I get so angry as if you know anybody would get angry.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and she needs to be
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: Friendly, she and I used to be friendly because I kind of knew she wasn't really maga Right, and then remember when she was interviewing The terror-reep person who accused of Biden.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you know, I'm all for at least you believe in women But I knew this one was a lie, and I was cleaning up at that point in time if you were working on Capitol Hill You were wearing pantyhose.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, yeah, yeah, my man in the same thing exactly.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and as soon as I started putting then a social media Everybody was like, oh my god, you're right
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I was on Capitol Hill at that time, so I knew.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: And there were so many holes in the story, but what terror we claimed happened, couldn't have happened that way.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: She was wearing pantyhose.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I did this, and so Megan's context.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: Because can I talk to you?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: Can I call you?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: Because I've already done the interview.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going to be happy with it, because she was trying to flip the me two stuff to show it was Democrats.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I want you to read this first, then I'll give you my phone number, because it makes you get a found it.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I saw a center of this article.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: It was at that same time.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: It was in the Washington Post.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: It was this whole thing about how Washington women, and on K Street and everything, hate that we all have to wear these pantyhows, even in August.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: There was an article about it came to life.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: And plus she saw, she saw the whole, you know, social media thing as soon as I said and they're like, yeah, they came in little eggs and I said, yeah, and if you ran, then you put the, I was going to get your nail polish.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Real polish.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's everybody, and making it at the time worked at a law firm in Chicago.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so she knew she knew.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I like to start.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: the same thing.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: She knew that Tara Reid had lied to her, so she called me and here's what she said to me.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't care.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was a private conversation about reveal it now.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: And part of what we talked about, she says, because I didn't think to ask her about the pantyhose.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: And the other thing was, Tara Reid,
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: was told that she didn't dress appropriately.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: There's no way that, oh, first of all, if the Senate's in session, which it would have been, if she was taking the Jim Bag or whatever to Joe Biden, there wouldn't have been a hallway downstairs that would have been so quiet and probably there.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that it, any of this could have happened.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: And if she's wearing pantyose, it couldn't have happened.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: And also, there's no way that the office manager is going to send her on a,
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: on it, Aaron, where she's going to see the senator and see other senators if she was not wearing pantyhows.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: It just, I know this sounds like my newship, but this is like if you're in a court of law, it's this is kind of minutia that you know.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: But it isn't minutia.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I like I started to do a department store and you had to.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: You had to.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: You had to.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: And your pantyhows, too bad you might have to.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: You're pantyhows.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: So Megan said she was okay, so Megan had to go back and bring this up to her again, and then she put something on Twitter, but she had already aired this video and you know, and and so now Tara has answered change and she said, well, I had a date with my boyfriend that night.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I was wearing crotchless panties and and.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: and stockings, you know, with the garters.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: It was also at a time when she was living with the boy for us.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, okay, so you have a date with your living boy from that night.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: So all day long, you're going to wear fractional panties and stockings with a garter.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the only way that Joe Biden could do what you claim he did to you in that basement hall.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, her story.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: But didn't she specifically offer that she, it was too hot to wear pantyhose?
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it doesn't matter.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was too much for every other woman to wear the house.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: But that means when it's in August.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: So now you're looking at the year.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: And it was in August when she sent it.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it kept changing.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: It kept changing.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, and also if she wasn't wearing pantyhose in that time of day, it was 1994, no way in hell, which she'd be sent on an errand.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: Or you know, I mean, in those days, going bare-legged was like going topless.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know the average age of your audience, but every woman listening to this, who was in a professional situation, you know, in that, in that era, instantly.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the 90s.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I can't remember, I know at working in department stores.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: there was finally a time that you could wear open-toed shoes and and I would always do it rebelliously when you weren't allowed and I don't know I never people would say things but I never got caught and I was never asked to go home but I was always like fuck this shit I'm gonna wear what I want and then eventually you know the pantyhose came off and that was it and nobody cared anymore but really it was such a rule and it sucked because when you did get a tearing your pantyhose it's not like you could just take them off you had to work with the tearing your
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, it was a big deal even even when you were when you could wear shoes that showed your toes.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: You're still wearing panties.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you look at these models in the 80s.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: I might be even looking at it at a photograph came across a photograph of our friend.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: and open-toed shoes, but you're just wondering, how is there maybe it was Charlie's Angels or something?
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and when you watched the old, you know, three's company, they walked, they were in shorts, but they weren't in heels, with their shorts.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they didn't have self-tanner back then.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: So so making Kelly got caught with that one and I just think that there's a bitterness there about her to go back where we're talking about and that is why she's doing all of this she thinks that being that the the bitchy woman thing works or something but there she has the the short answer is and really the only answer is she she looked for an audience this was the only one left
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: people that like this because the Fox News audience kind of didn't like her or something to NBC.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, you know, people who watch NBC, anybody, it's not left winged.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Anybody, anybody who is not hardcore disgusting evil mega is not going to be a Megan Kelly fan.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: So she's doing this stuff because it is the only body left for her to scrape up.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: Does that?
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that makes me feel a little bit better even though it's awful.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's just
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so no, let me ask you this because I know you have all this experience and oftentimes you present us with the inconvenient truth, so but I will I will say this before you have what I do feel decent right about the midterms I don't know exactly what we'll play out, but I do want to hear what you think because I think that
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the cultists do indoling and the die-harge that remain when Trump dies, they're just going to find other cults to latch on to.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: If Maga goes away as a as a cult, I think there's always going to be the right wingers and everything, but like right Trump has a specific, I don't know, feeling and people are following him.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then when he's not the president anymore when he dies or whatever,
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're just going to, you know, the die hards will go out and latch on, but mostly I think that, and this is my, but I think, and I just want you to correct me if I'm wrong.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: But like, independence are going to be the one who really decide as well as disgruntled Republicans.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to know what your thoughts are right now for the midterms, and, and I especially want to know what you think of Taloreco and outside.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, first, first of all, okay.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: I, with somebody else said, yesterday, I had, I recorded my, I did my podcast.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: I had Joe Lockhart on.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I asked Joe, because we know each other.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: We used to do TV together.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we just know each other from all of the whole Washington thing.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: So Joe Lockhart said, when I asked him, he goes, well, he says, I'm going to say something.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be upsetting a lot of people goes.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's going to be a blue wave.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think it will be a blue high tide.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: But he says people might be getting a little bit too excited because they're looking at, you know, the, the, the generic national numbers, you really do have to go district by district and they're ready to cheat and they're set up to cheat and cheat.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, they've been cheating since 2016.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: and we know that and so that's the concern and what will they do in the final days to bring the disaffected Republicans back home again.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what he said.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: I today I see a poll that has tell Rico tied.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: So we get energized.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: One of the things I did, I used to teach at George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management and the class I taught was called Political
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: master program.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I would make, because you don't want to get, you know, I've been a member of both parties.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: I would make the students that I knew, because most were post-grat, you know, they'd been in the working world for a while working in politics.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I knew who was a Democrat and who is a Republican.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: And we would do breakout sessions and take what we've learned and do these little mock situations and put together strategies and plants and messaging based on what I was giving them with the raw data and research.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I would make the Democrats be Republicans and I would make the Republicans be Democrats because it's just too easy to get in your own echo change and start believing it too much and then being surprised.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and so that's that's the morning and it's it's just it's just too close in some of these states and and you know the polls are too close and they're kind of all over the place.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I hated that Joe Lockhart said that but I kind of know that he he's probably closer to it than what.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: other people are saying.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: That said, you know, you know, all gas no break.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I mean, I think that I think that it's good to hear news like that because we don't want anyone to get complacent and feel, you know, as Bob Susska always says, don't get happy.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: But, um,
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we have to have realistic expectations because we are in this country right now that has so many people believe things that aren't true.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: And, I mean, we have this horrible media that I know not everyone's paying attention to media specifically corporate media and cable news media, but a lot of people still are and they're not getting the truth about things.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then we live in this,
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: kind of a bubble culture where, you know, you get your news from this small little piece of the internet and I get my news from this small, and I'm not talking about you and me, but just like in a general sense, and so people aren't informed in the way that they used to be when we had, you know, one national news.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: broadcast that we could all listen to in a green on and that's what the news was that's what Ryan talked about we talked a lot about the media as you can well imagine you know a lot card on and so the good thing about the podcast and independent media and all of this and social media is that you can get a lot of information that might not bubble up it.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: The flip side of that is
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: You do get in the bubble watch only foxes that the entire America is a Mueller report project that it was based on the fact we were trying to reach people who were not a member of the cult but voted for Trump that didn't know any better.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: They maybe weren't on Twitter, maybe Facebook, but they only watched Fox, so they didn't know that they've been lied to by Bill more.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're trying to, so we were looking at where do people get their information?
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't have that situation decades ago, and even before cable.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: But now there's so many sources.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: I like going to foreign media.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: and seeing, you know, you look at the guardian.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, BBC, is it the BBC, who had BBC has to have Trump, yes, or they's gonna have to be deposed.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, by December 11th, I think, yeah.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: So the foreign media, the way they report on this country, is so different from the news and the viewpoint that we get.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: So increasingly, you know, I go there and you know, we have different sources, different people who call this, who call, call,
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: For news and give us a new I who I'm going to look up here the guy who does my clips for me He has he did not on Twitter anymore because he hates it, but I some blue sky.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a website.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's see why NC Variety media.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's see be media at on blue sky
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: And every day, he gives these little dispatches from around the world, but not just news around the world that we need to hear, but what foreign media is saying and reporting about us.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: And it's really something because the Guardian BBC, they're doing a pretty darn good job where we're failing.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: in our own media.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even have that limit subscribed to anything that gives me cable news on TV.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: I have a a link that I can get it free.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: I can see highlights and everything.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: But by the time we watch, you know, the evening shows
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we already know.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: We already know.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: So there's some good buyer services.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: But that's people like us because we do this and we are activists and we're doing this all the time.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's different for regular people who have real lives.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't have, you know, all the data called through this.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe they tune into us to see what we're telling him and what, but we we see.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_01]: But the state of media, I don't think anybody has really fully
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: analyzed the impact of how we're the different ways we get information and news now it's going to impact elections because sometimes you just don't know what you don't know.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah and I mean what's interesting and I've talked about this many times on my show but like for instance I you know when I go to the grocery store I always talk to everybody and so there are young people and I'll ask them
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: Depending on who I'm thinking of, the last one I brought up was Charlie Sheen.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, do you know who Charlie Sheen is?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: And they just look at me with a blank stare.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe this person might be 24 or 25.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: When I was 24 years old, I knew who Fred Astaire was.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: I knew who Ginger Rogers was.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: I knew who all the stars, you know, maybe not in huge detail.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: details about their life, but I under I knew who the stars were of my grandmother's generation.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: I knew stars before my grandmother's generation because we had a television and that's pretty much where we all got our information.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, whether you lived in California or Maryland or whatever.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: There was always the old East station with, you know, whether it was old movies or old old bewitch shows or whatever we were all watching the same thing and we're all getting the same information now that we have the internet, it's a completely different story.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: So now young people don't even know people from Gen X.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's like that.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I can watch all these other rewards shows and I don't know half of them because I'm not subscribed to everything.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it means for people who are in the entertainment business almost anybody can make a living at it now.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's so many things to get this up on Roku.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: You got this on that work.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: You got that one.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: You got, you know, I mean, there's lifetime channel.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's, I mean, there's so many places you can get an acting job.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: That meant before you had your ABCCBS and NBC and then you have movies at the theater and that was pretty much it So we all knew who the stars were.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who have these people are but no, I don't I know I don't either Yeah, and I don't know that's why they do things at least for now I've noticed this I this isn't political, but I've noticed that some of these new series the things that you binge watch And it'll have actors who are known if if they if you subscribe to that
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: particular network, because they, you know, Netflix might use all the same actors all the time, HBO kind of tends to use all the same ones for their shows.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so I've noticed that they'll try and get one, maybe older actor that's been well known to all generations from before, where everybody knows how many bands it was, everybody knew how many bands it from, taxi, and who's the boss.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: So you throw him on, I leave, I forget the name of the show that he's on us.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: So one of those, I don't know who the other actors are, and they know this.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: So they need to have a Tony dance that everybody knows about it.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: So the days of everybody knowing who the movie stars are, who the famous celebrities are are kind of over, because it's like, well, if you're not paying for Apple TV, or if you're not paying for Netflix, you're only watching HBO Max, you're only going to be plugged into that.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's really weird.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a weird how things have changed.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: But going back to the elections, I want to ask you,
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: you know, that horrible Ramas Swamy ad with, I thought it was just so awful, where he interviewed, was it Acton's mother?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Is it Amy Acton, and I guess, you know, the story for those of you who don't know, which I would be surprised, but
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: Poor Amy Acton's, was it her father?
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was her father.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: It was her stepfather, Rabegher.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was 12, yeah.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then the mother chose to stay with the guy.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess her and her brother were taken out, but the mother stayed with the rapist until he died.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so then Rama Swami goes and pays for it himself and gets this ad where he's talking, and I saw there's a crazy, magillady that I go to her page a lot because
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: She's really, really like conspiratorial and she's going to just be a die hard bag until she dies.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: She saw this video and believes in mother and she, I don't even know she's aware about the rape.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: All she said was, hey, you know, who knows?
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: somebody better than a parent.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: And nothing was mentioned about the rape.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: So this is going to be successful.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: This campaign is probably successful for the hateful magas, but even Megan McCain said that this is that.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: So Mike DeWine came out and condemned every Republican governor of Ohio.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, thank you.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just wondering what you think, like, obviously they're gross and they're always
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of effect is this going to have over all?
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we know the magma is going to still be magma, but like how does this affect everything?
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're hearing that summary publicans are really pushing back, and that's when JDVans, who's from Ohio, the only place where you might have any influence because everybody has seen it.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: He basically said, you know, these are public invotors who just have to get over it.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's not helpful.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Domine still is supporting Bivic.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: Rama Smarme as I call him and but him coming out and saying that it was impactful.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's been in the news a lot where Look at close elections are one or lost in the margins and in this final stretch we are playing in the margins when it's close and that's what scares me because that's when they can cheat is when it's close You can you can cheat easier, you know Carrow famously allegedly told a whistleblower that on election night if a status within three percentage points
- 34:09[SPEAKER_01]: not with paper ballets, not with mail and ballets, but yeah.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, um,
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's what scares me is that it's too close.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: So if this helps make those margins a little wider, that's where a plan now.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when you, when you, I've run campaigns, excuse me, and you spent, you, it's the amount raised at this stage doesn't matter, it's cash on hand, because you spend the bulk of your money at the end.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: And you're spending it on people who aren't paying attention, who are easily swayed, you have to reach them and give them this information.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: People who don't know the news, haven't decided if they're gonna vote, you know,
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: And and that's where you spend your resources sadly and so that's why a lot of people like Michael Bloomberg coming out with 80 million dollar Democrats you do it at the end because before that frankly You're going to have a lot of consultants that are just going to suck it up and take the money if you give it too early and they still might be doing it a lot of a lot of kickbacks and and you know we've seen way too much of that for some of the famous
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: super PACs and whatnot.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: So this is what happened.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's cash on hand.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: This is where you're spending the money.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think that the news coverage of this ad has been excellent.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: For what I've seen, and I think that it could have an impact, but only in the margins, but in a close election, that's what matters is just all you need is 50% plus one.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_00]: So, no, this is the last thing I have written down.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, we can go off on other things, but this is a kind of a big one.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: I always like to talk about Donald Trump's health, but we know that, you know, he's doing this blast before the election going and traveling around and doing rallies and everything.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so,
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: He has brain-to-so-attrophied and he's starting to, I mean, I believe that the filter that he did have and we know he had a filter because he wasn't spewing secrets.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't talking about the fact that Putin has information on him.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: He knows certain things not to say.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I think his filter is getting thinner and thinner and thinner by the day.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: He keeps talking about sexualizing men, talking about their asses.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I always want to point out that in 2024, he was talking about the size, like so impressed with the size of Arnold Palmer's penis.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: He was blowing a microphone.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's talking about what's as it husted as that is his name.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, excuse me, his ass, he never did his and how big his hands are and how big his feet are.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, he's just being super inappropriate and then the other day, he growled at a male reporter, which I'm just gonna throw in there.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just, this is awful, but it's what I thought.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_00]: Because, you know, you can call Trump a pedophile and he's not gonna say anything because he doesn't wanna go through discovery, right?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm just like, I feel like that growl, that quiet or whatever he did.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: I know he did that with children, whether it was his grandkids and he was just saying it like an asshole, but I feel like that's who he really is and that's how he treated victims.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so when I saw that, it was extremely unsettling to me, because I saw it in a different way than, you know, his meaning in that moment, just telling that reporter to stop talking.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: But that's just an aside.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: Ultimately, he is losing his filter.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's getting angry and then on top of it, he's
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: Constantly, you know, thank God for people like Asin and Aaron Rupar who are constantly putting out video of him and showing how he's walking or having trouble walking with his gate looks like he's wearing an exoskeleton at least some of the time.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm just, you know, do you think like in this last, I think he's doing Democrats a favor.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think, you know, you talk about margins, perhaps he's helping those margins.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think he's doing Democrats a favor?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think of this like, tour while he's going around being super inappropriate and getting angry in every party?
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, first of all, address the thing he says about men.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's doing that because he knows that it controls the narrative.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: He can get away with it.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: He knows that everybody's talking about him and he's just he's playing with this.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: The other stuff, yes, it is his real personality.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason the filter is gone, it's it's ages to mention is health.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: But also he just didn't give a shit.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: And he wants everybody to know that he doesn't give a shit that no one can touch him.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: that it doesn't matter.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_01]: He just said the other day, man, I can say anything and you guys will applaud.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just that goes back to he was doing this in 2015, 2016.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: We said I could shoot someone up in the afternoon and not look.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: He is telling the world, my supporters are such stupid groups, but they are with me and their vote counts as much as yours and look, they're coming to the rally.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to vote.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: Why you guys are out there spending bazillion dollars trying to get, you know, people to come vote for you.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's doing it to show off.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's doing it to show look what I can get away with.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's been doing this his whole life And why because he's gotten away with everything and we've let him.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have I mean yeah One of the media has yeah, yeah Democrats have I think that he in some ways likes rubbing everybody's nose in it I think he's in I think the whole part of the Natalie harp thing is he's rubbing Melania's nose in something He wants to humiliate her.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think he does have dementia
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he is evil and this is his personality, but to agree, he's just doing what he's always done.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have to be fully, you know, mentally with it to do what he's always done.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: And he might be a little looser with it now, but he's, you know, he's gotten away with everything.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: And it also makes me think, and this is scary, that he's got enough up a sleep, he imputant,
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: that no matter how we vote, they have just enough people, their electors, and just enough key states to change things.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: And they've got a many of things they're going to do, martial law, not seating people.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we are, we are in for some big surprises.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: We all know it, known as an answer.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: Look what he did, but with January 6th.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so we have to vote, obviously,
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be honest.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very afraid because he's got something planned and we have absolutely think he has something planned.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to get afraid right now just because I feel like I agree with everything you're saying and I'm not saying I disagree with any of it.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't I don't want to jump the horse on fear for me because I remember how badly I felt in 2024 and
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: It took so long to kind of get over that feeling and I and if that feeling comes back it comes back But I just don't want to have it before I have to Yeah, you know, and and so you know, I mean, I'm doing what I can I already voted and a Maryland told me that my vote Has been counted and so or at least my ballot has been received I should say I my vote has not yet been counted, but it has been received so that's good and You know, I mean I do have some help and the reason I have hope
- 41:14[SPEAKER_00]: is because even though I do recognize there are a lot of people in this country who are not very smart or educated in part because Republicans for decades and decades that decades have been defunding education and that education you know money has not come back and it's showing because Trump does like to poorly educated for a good reason and and then on top of the fact that there's
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: busy trying to live their lives.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: They've got X amount of jobs and kids and they're not spending all day online, but they are experiencing difficulties paying their bills.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: And they can see the difference.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I do think from what I've heard, there's a lot of really good numbers for early
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't know how it's going to go, but I'm choosing to latch on to the positive because I don't want to latch on to the fear.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I can't do it.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, if it happens, I'll deal with it then.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: But until then, I'm just going to.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: Focus on some of the things that I'm seeing out there, you know, there's certain Democrats, one of my favorite Democrats right now is John Osaf because he is called to, I mean, she's like freaking Superman, you know, he's good looking, he's articulate, he's talking, he's speaking truth to power in a way very few Democrats have done up until now and we're seeing more and more Democrats doing it, which I like, he doesn't hold back and
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm seeing people from the Democratic Party not, I'd like to see some more, but I'm seeing some some gumption and some like, okay, you know, we're going to fight fire with fire.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think there could be more, but I think that, you know, overall, I think things look pretty good.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going along with that.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I do know the risks, though, and I do know who we're dealing with.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I know Putin has, you know, these oligarchs.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: They are not going to stop.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to stop.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so even winning this election, if we're able to win it, if we're so even fortunate to even get the Senate, which we'll see, I don't know.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: But let's say we got both.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's not over.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not over when we Donald Trump dies.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: Because this is not just a Donald Trump thing.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: This is a political ideology thing.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is a cult thing.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is a fascism thing.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: And it has hit our country.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: And it's been ruling it now since 2025.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: two things.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, a little bit of good news.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: New voter registration update, new voter registration update in Arizona, Democrats plus 28,979.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: Republicans are negative 961.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: But one thing though, we do know, we've seen recent data that, and again,
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: late-breaking, you know, voters have break-layed, and the margins, just think these margins were playing it.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: That, uh, Maga voters, previous Trump voters, now will vote blue.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: for two reasons gas prices and data and data centers.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: This matters to them.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: And what happens to the gas prices is it is a real big part of it's significant part of a budget.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: But psychologically you're driving by a gas station several times a day.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: You see those changing numbers like the Walmart
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: price numbers flipping like on the commercial.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: And you might not notice if your phone bill goes up a few cents every month or your cable bill.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: You're not checking it that closely, but every day you are driving by a gas station and you see those numbers and you are the one filling the gas tank.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a real problem for obviously a problem with people who use their car or their truck for everything.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: But just as the psychological reminder, it sort of defines, you know, how things are going in people's minds.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: And the data centers are such that people are scared, that don't want them.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I saw an interview with one woman who had been voting Republican, you know, for Freak and Ever.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, I don't care, Republican, I'm not doing it.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: I will vote Democrat because we are not going to have a data center here.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: So those are some issues, yeah, so those are the big issues right now.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, prices, prices which define the economy and grocery prices.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: And grocery, I was just gonna say because you are always going to the grocery store.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and data centers, so to the degree that you can all politics is local, the data centers are something that do matter and that could make the difference in the margins where we need to have it.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_00]: Good, good, good, good, that's some good news, you know, and I'll just I'll just tell you a little bit of good news because you know, I love to talk to the people at my grocery store.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: I just like famous work.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a woman she's a Muslim woman and of course, made friends with her.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't remember how this started, but we were talking and oh, there it there is.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: The manager of my grocery store, he's just like, you know, I guess I spoke to him the other day, but I do know he's 59.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: So he was telling me he was going to be retiring in some bubble a lot.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, so, you know, he's a white guy from Maryland and I have no idea how he votes.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: But he's always been a very nice man and I see him all the time at the grocery store.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so, anyway, I was talking to this Muslim woman and I guess maybe I mentioned him.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: And she goes, oh, he's so nice, and she said, you know, the other day, because she was a hijab and the other day this fucking man, I'm sure white she didn't say white, but it's white man came in and he said, how come you're not smiling at me and she just was like,
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: she didn't even know what to do.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, well, you're smiling every bus, but you're not smiling at me.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_00]: And so I don't know what she said to him.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: Then he tells her that she needs to go back to her country and then he called her a fucking bitch or something like that.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: So she told this manager,
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: and they got security and they could see on camera they could see the guy because I guess he like he had grabbed the receipt from her like aggressively he didn't do anything to her but they had it all on camera and like he sneered at her so that security saw it.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: And so anyway, the following day, this racist guy comes back in the store, security season on the camera, and I guess the manager had said if this guy ever comes back in, throw him out.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: So they saw him, and they caught him, and they threw him out.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it was like, you know, it's like little things like that are making me feel good because like I would look at this, this, you know, guy from Maryland, who's 59 years old in a white guy, I don't know who he votes for, but my automatic go to was he's probably maga and I don't know that he's maga, I don't think he is, but it's like I'm just so glad to hear.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: that people are sticking up for each other.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: And it made her feel really good.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: And my experiences with her have always been pleasant and sweet.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: She's very nice woman.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, and I often like to brighten the employees day with how Trump's going to die soon.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: I want to make them laugh.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think that this falls into that category or you're saying we have work to do afterwards because Trump will die into everything and and we have to do it each in our own lives And maybe this is one small micro sample of that that something has happened within our culture.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: We were afraid to confront MAGA early on.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: I people.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm not political in the mic and mega.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: We don't talk politics.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, look what they support now.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: Why are they even your friend?
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so we I think I think little by little can really a sort of sunk in that we're all
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: play a role.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: We all have a responsibility now to rebuild because we we kind of let this happen.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now, granted, we were taken by surprise by a lot of it, but we knew, you know, I just like we knew we knew the Mueller report was true.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_01]: And we let it go because we were hoping that O Trump learned his lesson and the people that, you know, now I had been a victim of Trump since so I know he's not going to stop.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: I thought just the opposite.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: He now knows that we will
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so we're a little bit smarter now, but hopefully there are more people who, and you see this with people who now become activists and going to through rallies and protests that never had before.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I, you know, they're doing their part, you know, they maybe go to their first political protest in their 60s.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: because they now realize that we are all in this together, no one's coming to save us.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: We are the cavalry, and if we're not in every little part of our daily lives, you know, and that, you know, I think maybe that's what you saw in the grocery store.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and there is a whole lot of that.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: We have made a decision, more of a set.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, it all stops now.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and I did say something to him.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: I said, you know what?
- 49:58[SPEAKER_00]: that woman, and I don't know her name, but I explained, I said, you know, she told me about that incident, and you know, because I wanted to let him know that employees have said positive things, and they have more than one employee has said positive things about him.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so I wanted him to know, especially because I don't know how he votes, but I wanted him to know that what he did was very meaningful, not only to this woman, but to me.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: and you know, and I don't like, I don't know who this man is.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: He seemed to be very nice when I spoke to him and you know, and I've asked him for help before and I kind of, he takes his job very, very, very, very seriously.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was just sorry, I know I always go up to him and I ask him for certain things and he's like he's so concerned that I'm going to find and then I'll see him the next time and he's like, did you find what you needed?
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like so, but he's very sweet and I just, yes, I agree with you.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: We have a lot of work to do because again, this, this is not just about Donald Trump.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: This is about a political,
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: too much of the population.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so we got to get back to a place we're never gonna be perfect.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: There's always gonna be people who are misogynistic or whatever and see people as other.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: But when we all recognize we're part of this community and it's so much easier just to be nice and kind.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know what we have to make a collective decision who we want to be as a country, what we want to help sort of be because we look the other way for too long to let this other stuff happen.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: And we have to make up for that.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: We just do that.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: We do.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: We do.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, let me just, you know, we're not going to wrap up right now.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: We've got a few more minutes left, but I just want to know is there anything that you're like doing or watching to make you happy during these crazy times?
- 51:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm doing the thing I always say that I would never do it.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm paying really close attention to polls.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then on election day, you know, here's, you know, the funniest thing about if you work in politics and you're running a campaign and you're involved in this, everybody thinks, oh, you're going to be so busy on election day and you know what it is.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, you're not.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I, you know, there's somebody I know, a man who's run, you know, congressional campaigns and he got in the habit of on election day, he goes golfing.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_01]: because you've already done everything.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: You've spent all the money on the GOTV.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: Get out the vote.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: You've run the ads.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: You've done the polls.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: You've got everything set up where you've got the volunteers.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_01]: The yard signs have been put up.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_01]: You've had people handing out the flowers.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: done everything.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: You put your candidate on the schedule to go everywhere and talk to everybody and you hope that you hit your mark everywhere you went.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: And on election day, there's nothing to do.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: And it is horrible because you've been on, you know, running on all four cylinders from a month and a month and a month or a year, you've done everything, especially in the final months or weeks.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like you are spent.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_01]: You every drop of sweat is out of the end.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's just
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, shit.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: Now what you're like crazy.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to break up.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you go golfing and then that night you go back to the headquarters and you march the TV and you wait.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_01]: You're sick by the phone.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: You're on.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: You're looking at the and you wait and you get anyway.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's all just waiting.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm kind of I'm not in that mode yet obviously.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not working on a campaign right now.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing my part with my social media and my podcast and my YouTube and going to things when I can.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm nervous.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: We're not quite there yet, but I'm thinking, what am I going to do on election day?
- 53:40[SPEAKER_00]: I know I'll be working but you know it's funny because election day for me I remember last year I was under the very wrong impression that Kamala was gonna win and so I was kind of excited and then as the polls were come or as the votes were coming in I was like oh my god it was not excited anymore and then it was funny because in the 2018 midterm I remember being terrified and then what's this
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I was glad about that, but you know, I mean, what I'm doing now as I'm just, you know, I'll be working like I always do and I'm usually fine during the day, but it's like, oh no, when the, when the votes start getting counted and coming in that I know I'm going to be a, it's going to be hard because that debate with Joe Biden, I lasted about two minutes and then I ran into the bedroom under the covers and I could not deal and then, you know, I'm watching the 2020 for election.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: and pretty much that sinking feeling in my stomach that lasted for six weeks started very early on.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I know I'm going to feel that triggered nervousness.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess the polls open.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I just look quite scared.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like I'm going to be at the Al Arabi TV studios by 7 a.m. on Election Day in the morning after I forgot.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing several hours a week.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: You'll be busy.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you'll be busy.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: You'll have things to keep you busy.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I'm on the air for foreign TV.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: I do foreign TV a lot of Middle Eastern pro-democracy stuff.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so they have their bureaus here in DC.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I just check my schedule and yeah, I got myself booked or they booked me and I said yes if I got about that.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: So, on election night, I probably won't get any sleep because I have to be camera ready.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they don't do hair and makeup.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, be able to send a card to pick me up.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: I have to be there for like 7, 30 in the morning, ready to go on the air.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's up on a roof outside.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, I just realized that you like so I'm so not want to do that.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they pay me.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: I know, I know.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_00]: We got to make our money.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: But, yeah, I got to keep me in kibble, you know.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_00]: Have you been watching anything fun shows?
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: Why is there anything like that?
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: I am now binging on Netflix's doc and I love it.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_00]: Doc, I haven't stuck.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know about it.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, it's this woman doctor and she is um, she's chief at the hospital and I don't want to get a whole lot but she starts out she's she's really a bit.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: She's harder.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's excellent doctor.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then she has this accident.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: And you find out what happened beforehand, but, you know, she and her husband who also was at a hospital is like the chief medical officer.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: And they get divorced at the set of the kit, but they, but they have a son that that died.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: And, but she loses eight years of her memory.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't know this.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: So she's no longer cheap, but they let her come back to the doctor and all this stuff happens.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then she's trying to get a memory back and it's just I'm not explaining it.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but it's really, really good in the complicated relationship when she first sees her husband and he's like, and she's trying to hug him and he's like, we're not together anymore.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's remarried and having a baby.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just and then she didn't know that her son had died.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's just, but she's, she comes back as a doctor and that she had this other relationship that she didn't know about.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, the whole thing is just fascinating.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm now at the point where we're seeing, she gets these little flashes of memory.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: And her brain is trying to tell her now that she's, that, that she's in danger.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: So Molly Parker plays the doctor.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: So and oh, it's it's quite good.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's on Netflix.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where I am.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm watching.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm rewatching the pit before the new series or the new.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, then you'll like doc.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: And God.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: I love I love the pit.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: We've started watching so like I told you that I was completely and I still am completely obsessed with the show glow like it's it's a little weird How I watch the whole thing yeah, I'm your recommendation.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm your recommendation.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_00]: I watch I've been I've been just the whole thing So yeah, so we watched it and then I'm thinking because we always like to have a half hour show before we go to bed That's kind of light and we finished it and I and I just couldn't bear to not watch it anymore And I said do you want to just start over and Bob's like yeah, so like just
- 58:00[SPEAKER_00]: Immediately started over and it was funny because many of the shows open with the song The Warrior by Patty Smith And I was in the grocery store the other day, of course, because I'm always though And that song came on and I'm like totally performing it, right?
- 58:12[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't give a shit when I'm at the store I'm performing it and singing it and this woman was like, oh my god, great song and I'm like, yeah, and it was like was making you think of a glow And I just I can't watch it again.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 58:24[SPEAKER_00]: Pardon me.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't like how it ended
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: Do you mean you didn't like that it was a cliffhanger or you just didn't like the storyline?
- 58:32[SPEAKER_01]: Was it a cliffhanger?
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I don't know.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was a huge cliffhanger Because they weren't they had been approved for a fourth season, but then COVID hit and the writer strike happened, so it never got made I just I thought it was I don't know.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like I I so there's coming back
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: No, it was supposed to, but then COVID hit.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then also Mark Marion was married to, I think she was a director and she died.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: So the woman that he was married to was, I think the director, she was producer, director, whatever it was.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, she passed away Lynn Shelton, I think her name was.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so she died, COVID hit, and then the writer strike happened.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_00]: So the fourth season was never made.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't, I thought it was just a really bad disappointing ending.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know it was a cliffhanger that was supposed to go into another season.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm, well, that explains that.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's something about that show that, and it's specifically, I mean, I love all of them.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I love Allison Brie, the one who played Zoja, the destroyer.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, I love Betty Gilpin and I love the guy.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know his name, but he played Bash Howard, the producer, and then Mark Merin.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_00]: Those four, I love everyone in that show, but those four specifically.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_00]: And the storyline with the guy who played Bash Howard,
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: was fucking in my opinion it was it was so interesting and I missed a lot of it the first run and I I was getting a little confused while I was watching the first run of it so when I went back and watched it the second time I'm like oh but it was all about let's just say uh
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_00]: not homophobia, but like, you know, there were homosexual issues.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: And that's just in the 80s.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_00]: And the way that they did it was so very understated, I just, it wasn't, it didn't hit me.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then, and then so, I mean, I started to figure it out.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: But I didn't, I wasn't figuring it out in real time watching it.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: I had to go back and watch it again and I was like, oh, but I don't know.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not even kidding you.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really bombed because it's like, there's nothing because we started watching.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever seen the show community?
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's about, it's, it's, it's, it's silly.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_00]: But it's it's about community college.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: I guess it came out in 2009.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_00]: Chevy Chase is in it.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_00]: Allison Brie is also in it.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_00]: Denny Glover and I can there's a couple other people.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, there's there's guests spots like everyone's in a while like John Michael Higgins was on he played a professor, but it's about community college
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: And it's still, I have to, no, I've see, I think it's silly, yeah, yeah, that Nicole Brown is in it.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I will say it gives me a laugh out loud every night, but I miss Glow.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: What am I going to do?
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: I thought Glow, I didn't, I thought Glow had some really hardcore gratuitous nudity and sex that kind of didn't flow.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I didn't mind it, I mean, there was definitely a lot of skin you could see.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, they did have sex, but I don't know, I just, I don't know what it is about it.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_00]: I just, there's something about that show and Bob feels it too because we're both like super fans.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, I don't know, it's weird how, what a super fan I am, but oh well.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I guess we're just going to have to figure it out because there's a whole bunch of new stuff coming out.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_01]: I can't keep up with it all.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: I subscribe to HBO Max and Netflix and I don't want anymore.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can't answer it.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, well, if you, you can get a free one week and watch this.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, now I have to binge that.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, exactly.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, okay, I'll get one free week of Apple TV.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't do Apple TV.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_01]: I can't watch it all.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I get I watch probably like an hour to an hour and a half of television at night, you know, before we say the bed.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I used to watch a lot more, but now I'm more online.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, me too.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm online way too much.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_00]: And one of these things that I'm looking forward to is just as as the new year comes and we move in everything.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm beginning to taking more walks.
