- 1:52Joe, here we go. This is episode number two hundred and ninety two.
- 1:57Kill em me Carter and uh yes, for the very perceptive folks out
- 2:02there, I did spell it wrong the first time. For some reason,
- 2:06I had my mind, Joe that this guy's name was Hank. Kill him,
- 2:09kill him like William. But no, no, I have been properly
- 2:15reprimanded and uh Mandela affected. It apparently is kill him. My name's Hank,
- 2:23kill him. Get it right, boy? Anyway, what's up,
- 2:30Joe? How you doing, buddy? Hey? All time? No see
- 2:32a long time? Yes. How was your Memorial Day weekend? Sir?
- 2:38My Memorial Day weekend was very lazy. I didn't do much. The weather
- 2:47was kind of dodo here hey, look at it, but it was nice
- 2:54and relaxing. How ill was yours? Sir? I was pretty good play
- 3:00golf. One day? I watched the Rangers, so they lost the last
- 3:06two games, so don't tease me. They are on the brink of elimination
- 3:08tomorrow. But the same thing happened in nineteen ninety four, so the sim
- 3:14is on the loop, I think, and we got they won game six
- 3:19and seven last in ninety four. Well, hopefully they don't as they proverbally
- 3:24proverbally say, crap the bid uh. And we'll see Joe in a in
- 3:31a Rangers sweater next week. I had to go long gunman tonight. But
- 3:36you know, if the Dallas Stars and the Rangers make it to the finals,
- 3:39it would be good for the pop. True that true? That well,
- 3:47Joe, we got a freaking full house in here, already, love
- 3:51it. The line is started. They are filing in currently as we speak.
- 3:59Yeah, John appreciated, buddy, you're the man. Well even get
- 4:02a word out, bam, here we go. Love it. So,
- 4:08yeah, Joe, we got Claude kicked back. He's probably about four beers
- 4:11in by now trying to reach over and grab old U Deane on her kneecap
- 4:16or something. We got Trey in the house. That's right, bungled in
- 4:24I bungled try yep, Tray Scott, Scott. I saw Colleen the Rocket
- 4:31Queen in here. There she is. Miley's right behind her. Big MIC's
- 4:38in the house. Alpha sixty six southwest. Boom, all right, I'm
- 4:48sorry, Claude is five beers in not four? I respect that, Claude.
- 4:54I respect. Yes, if you're not drinking and potting on a Friday
- 5:00night, what are you doing. Yeah, we're gonna give you a reason
- 5:02straight off the bat to pour a little out on the ground as we pay
- 5:09homage and remembrance to a yet another person that's been important to this case who
- 5:15recently passed away. So Joe bring the heat for this one, because this
- 5:24guy lived a pretty crazy long life. Yes, sir, what was he
- 5:29ninety six? Yes? Yes, mister Elmer Boyd. You'll see two photographs
- 5:36here on the little slide I brought up, And on the left part of
- 5:42the slide you'll see well Fritz leaving the TSBD and in the closest image you'll
- 5:50see mister Elmer Boyd. And is that a shotguner rifle on his right hand?
- 5:58It looks like a rifle? Could it looks like a rifle, But
- 6:03that's what I'm saying. They were carrying rifles in and out of this building
- 6:06all day, so who knows, man, But that's really parallel to his
- 6:13foot. It almost looks like his foot. I don't know if that's the
- 6:15photo And I just noticed this, so, yeah, well you can see
- 6:19the hilt up near his uh, whereas hip hip would be near his elbow
- 6:24there. So that's either a really really really long shotgun or it's a rifle
- 6:30or a thirty six or the British Enfield. It looks like it has a
- 6:34pretty doo dooo scope on it though. Yeah, also did Lee's Yeah,
- 6:42and on the right, so I actually you know when I was So this
- 6:46is from a friend of the show's pictures on his website, that is mister
- 6:50bart Camp from Prayerman prayer Hyphenman dot com. And if you guys haven't checked
- 6:59out that site, suggest you go to it. I have the book.
- 7:01I'm a couple of chapters in. I got distracted, as I usually do.
- 7:06But so if you look on the right side to Lee, the officer
- 7:13in the white homicide hat, which was kind of white Hat Boys by Jim
- 7:19Levell, right, he kind of made that famous in a sense. I
- 7:24don't know if it was famous in Texas for but it definitely was famous after
- 7:28the assassination. They were the homicide guys. They kind of were really arrogant
- 7:32to other, like DPD officers, and that is him beautiful man right to
- 7:39the right of Lee and that is the midnight press conference on Saturday. I
- 7:45believe Rob. Yes, thank you, Colleen in the house, Rocket Queen
- 7:50comes through. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,
- 7:57Colleen. I have my slide up and see you. But uh yeah,
- 8:03those are two of probably the most recognizable pictures of mister Elmer Boyd and Rob.
- 8:11I think he's the last DPD officer or officer that was really involved.
- 8:18There could be like it it was Lavelle and him, and then Lavelle dropped
- 8:26and then it was him and then that's it. No more DPD left alive
- 8:31from that time. Wow, it actually handled Oswald and that's that's That's really
- 8:39kind of sad in a sense, I feel, because you know, Lavelle,
- 8:43for all his flaws, never ah rejected an interview right. He always
- 8:50would talk to people no matter what their stance was. Of course he would
- 8:54have the same kind of party line. But mister Boyd, from what I
- 9:00read this afternoon, had not. And I'm gonna give a little shout out
- 9:09to a message that Michael McDougald sent to me today and he had the pleasure
- 9:15of meeting him during his sixth floor interview, and I don't know where it
- 9:26was, but hold on, let me bring this up. I had a
- 9:31good friend of mine and I went to a living history program the Elmer boy
- 9:37did at the sixth Floor Museum, and I believe this in the oral Histories
- 9:41video section if you could find it. It's really hard to find that section
- 9:45on that website. But that's not surprising. After the program, he wouldn't
- 9:50sign any autographs for anyone, including me and my buddy. A month or
- 9:56two later, my buddy somehow found his address, wow and somehow and sent
- 10:03him three blank index cards and wrote him a nice letter asking for his autograph.
- 10:07My buddy also included addressed stamped envelope like a return envelope, and mister
- 10:15Boyd signed all three and sent them back to his friend. So that is
- 10:20very interesting, and why wouldn't he want to sign something like But I don't
- 10:31know. I thought I was and I haven't watched people, Joe. I
- 10:41think your audio is in the toilet, not that it's not existent. It
- 10:46just sounds like you're broadcasting live from the bottom of the toilet bowl. Can
- 10:52you hear me now? Much better? Okay, where did you lose me?
- 10:56Sir? Just a couple of seconds before that, So I just was
- 11:01commenting, it's interesting that he might have not wanted to science something at a
- 11:05sixth floor museum with maybe people that were very aware of the assassination and did
- 11:13and self addressed art. Yeah, this guy really he didn't want a lot
- 11:16of fame from this. He kind of stayed out of the spotlight for a
- 11:18very long time. He didn't ever try to profit off of anything. So
- 11:26you know, guys like that, you know, no matter what his opinion
- 11:30of the facts of the case may have been, and I don't even know
- 11:33what they were, to be honest with you, I'm guessing that they would
- 11:37have been in line with the Warren commissioned conclusion. That's just a guess,
- 11:43though I could be totally off base. I've not had a chance to listen
- 11:45to his sixth floor testimony though, but yeah, yeah, rest in peace,
- 11:52sir. Yes, It's very sad when witnesses and the last of a
- 11:58certain area, all right, a certain group pass away, because you almost
- 12:05feel like, will I ever get the truth from that group aka the DPD
- 12:09and obviously working again from Lavelle uh and get it from void but stad nonetheless,
- 12:20and yeah, for sure. And thank you Paul who is trucking on
- 12:26down the road listening to his Joe. We appreciate it. We appreciate it.
- 12:31Moot show, and I see they're talking about, uh, they're talking
- 12:35about something in the chat, some Silk City Hot Sauce. Sally needs some
- 12:43for her lamb kebabs or whatever the hell she's eating over there. I think
- 12:50that would pair nicely with some kebabs. Yeah, I had. I'm sure
- 12:58they do, Sally. In fact, I was talking to Jeff and I
- 13:01think he was shipping a whole bunch of stuff over to Ireland at some point,
- 13:07so I'm pretty sure they do. Pretty pretty sure. You can always
- 13:11ask him on Twitter at Silk City Hot Sauce. I believe that's the handle.
- 13:18He'll be more than happy to answer and send him. And hopefully my
- 13:24audio is better now. I apologize, guys, and everything is going to
- 13:28hell with Joe's audio. Yeah, and then we got it, okay.
- 13:35Mike's confirming boy's view was LHO was a lone gum in case clothes. We're
- 13:39done, okay, Well, yeah, you know, I mean, when
- 13:43you're in the middle of it like that, and that's your company line and
- 13:48like I said, you know, this guy never really tried to profit off
- 13:50of it. He went on to work a long time with the DPD.
- 13:56I know he turned over all his paraphernalia to the sixth floor. Be interesting
- 14:01to know if he had any you know, personal files and documents and stuff
- 14:07like that that he may have held on too. It's always interesting. You
- 14:11never know when somebody passes away with somebody will find hiding in the closet,
- 14:16you know. But heat or rop even the DPD archives website, right because
- 14:24as is well noted, you and I found a document on them which detailed
- 14:31that a direct line in the White House was installed in a certain babysitters home.
- 14:37Yeah, inventious and babysitting. And that was on the GPD website I
- 14:41believe we found out there. Yeah. I think that's a very under utilized
- 14:46the repository of documents for DPD stuff that really needs to be paying a little
- 14:52bit more attention to and gone through with a little more find twos of a
- 14:58comb for sure. Yeah. And I haven't searched Boyd on there yet,
- 15:03so if there's any interesting tidbits, I might find him later. But there
- 15:07you go. We'll let you know yes, all right, So to get
- 15:13to what we're going to talk about this evening, and that would be Thomas
- 15:20Henry kill Him. Thomas Henry kill Him, otherwise known as Hank or Red,
- 15:31and his story is interesting. His story is interesting, and you'll know
- 15:37from the cover art that I kind of married this topic with a fellow by
- 15:41the name of John Carter because they were friends. But we'll get there,
- 15:48I promise. So we're gonna go through this kind of chronologically for you guys,
- 15:54so that things hopefully make a little bit more sense, because you know,
- 16:00while there's not a lot out there on this guy, there's one major
- 16:03thing that everybody points to is like, you know, oh, this is
- 16:08definitely a conspiracy because of this. But we'll get there. But the first
- 16:15FBI document I found Joe is from nineteen forty nine. WHOA, yeah,
- 16:23so, and I don't have any biographical information on old Hank, but you
- 16:33can see from his picture of Joe will pop that up that he was quite
- 16:37a bit older than his wife Wanda, who I believe danced at the Carousel
- 16:45Club under a different name. Did you mean the cartoon picture? No,
- 16:56I just wish do you not have one? Just Hank I don't, okay,
- 17:03I have one handy hold on all right, this handsome dude, it's
- 17:12Hank. Otherwise there was read he kind of looks like the dad from that
- 17:15seventies show, right, you know, if he took steroids and was into
- 17:21mafia. This is another one with his wife Wanda. Okay, So I'm
- 17:32guessing he was a little on the older side as opposed to the younger side.
- 17:34If I have an FBI document here from forty nine and he was doing
- 17:41these these things back then that I'm gonna tell you about. So this,
- 17:47like I said, this is interesting because it says on August the third,
- 17:55nineteen forty nine, the Mobile Division whatever that is, maybe Mobile Alabama,
- 18:03I don't know Mobile, Yeah, advised that the subject, Thomas Henry kill
- 18:10Him, was in custody and charged with transporting victims victims from Pensacola, Florida,
- 18:22to Montgomery, Alabama. On about June twelfth, nineteen forty nine.
- 18:29Kill Him reported transported a redacted to various cities in the South the coast.
- 18:37Subject in this case was redacted. No further information available. So it sounds
- 18:48to me like old Hank kill Him was trafficking girls, young women throughout the
- 18:59South and kind of pimping him out to the strip clubs and moving them around
- 19:04from here to there, which is not surprising again when you see who he
- 19:12ended up with in Dallas, right, So I thought that was interesting.
- 19:19So that's from like I said, from forty nine, and he was nabbed
- 19:26by the FBI doing it, so he probably wasn't doing a very good job,
- 19:30but interesting. Nonetheless. Now in order of the documentation that I have
- 19:42is this comes next. This is a document from the FBI from December twenty
- 19:48third, nineteen sixty three, and it's about John Carter. John Carter of
- 19:56ten twenty six North Beckley advised that he was living at the above rooming house
- 20:02at the time same time Lee Harvey Oswald lived there about three or four weeks
- 20:07ago. He said that Oswald was very quiet, that he only talked to
- 20:11him one or two occasions, but not for any length of time. He
- 20:17said he heard Oswald speak to someone on the telephone on one occasion, but
- 20:19he spoke in what he thought was the Russian language, and he assumed that
- 20:23Oswald was talking to his wife. He said that Oswald did not associate with
- 20:29anybody at the rooming house to his knowledge and had no visitors. He said
- 20:33he had never heard Oswald mention Jack Ruby or mention the Carousel Club. He
- 20:38advised that although he was acquainted with Wanda Joyce kill Him and her husband Hank
- 20:45and knew that Wanda worked for Jack Ruby, he had never met Ruby,
- 20:49and he had never heard of Ruby until the shooting of Oswald. He stated
- 20:55that he had never been in the Carousel Club and would not even know the
- 20:57address. All right, So this is before which is important, Joe.
- 21:03This is before Hank Killum met his untimely demise. So this is John Carter
- 21:12voluntarily giving up information that, Hey, I know this guy and his wife
- 21:18works at Jack Ruby's club, the Carousel Club, and I lived there at
- 21:22Beckley with Lee Harvey Oswald. And just as a throwback, Joe to the
- 21:30whole Mary and Me Hogg story, I saw him and I was pers So
- 21:38this is another document, same time, same date. I mean, oh
- 21:45no, I'm sorry. This is a little while after. I believe this
- 21:48is sometime mid January sixty four. Mister A. C. Johnson, who
- 21:53was the owner of the house at ten twenty sixth North, Beckley, furnished
- 21:59the following information On January ninth, he attended a man's meeting at his church
- 22:06in the company of John Carter, a rumor at his residence. He said
- 22:11that after the meeting, he and Carter went to the Clifton Hotel coffee shop
- 22:17on West Colorado Street, which is in the immediate neighborhood of his residence,
- 22:22Oak Cliff insomuch as Carter had not had dinner yet, He said, while
- 22:27in the coffee shop, he asked the owner of the shop if he knew
- 22:30anyone by the name of Donald or David Miller who frequented the coffee shop or
- 22:37who resided in the area, he said. The owner responded that he did
- 22:41not know anyone by that name. Now, this is the guy David or
- 22:45Donald Miller. I believe it was David who was calling the rooming house incessantly
- 22:51right bugging the hell out of Arlene Roberts and who he says he was trying
- 23:00to put his ex wife and her new husband. It's Mary and Mehr guy
- 23:07as a suspect in the case, which is this is all very weird.
- 23:11Mister Johnson advised that he definitely did not ask the owner of the coffee shop
- 23:17if anyone had been in the coffee shop inquiring to a Donald or David Miller.
- 23:23So it looks like these guys were out hunting. You know what I'm
- 23:27saying. That dog can't hunt, that's right now. Next up we get
- 23:33an FBI document from January ninth, sixty four Garth Ball. Garth Ball any
- 23:45relations to Joseph Ball. I doubt it. I doubt it of one ten
- 23:51Barnett, Dallas, Barnett Street, Dallas, Texas and employee of the Oak
- 23:56Cliff Cab Company, Dallas, Texas Advice during the early morning of approximately January
- 24:03tewod or March of sixty or or March of sixty four. I mean,
- 24:11wait a minute, hold on, let me reread that, because that's not
- 24:15making sense that during the early morning of approximately one to two or three to
- 24:22sixty four. I don't know, it's just I mean, the document is
- 24:29January nineteen sixty four, so we can't be talking about March sixty four because
- 24:33it hadn't happened yet. Anyway, he went to the address of thirteen fifty
- 24:37one Galloway in Dallas, Texas to pick up a customer. This customer was
- 24:41described as a white male thirty five to forty tall, very thin occupation painter
- 24:49entered the cab and immediately stated, let's get this cab moving. Her husband
- 24:56may come home in any minute. He said, boy, those drinks are
- 25:03sure expensive at the Carousel Club. Later during conversation, customer stated that the
- 25:12girl had just left was one of Ruby's girls. Quotes you know. The
- 25:22customer asked Ball to deliver him to ten twenty six North Beckley. Ball stated
- 25:27he asked the customer if that wasn't the address where Oswald had resided, and
- 25:32he stated, yes, it was. The customer also advised that he had
- 25:37known Oswald when Oswald resided at the Beckley address. Extent of acquaintance not known
- 25:42to Ball. A review of Dallas File four to four Dash one sixty three
- 25:48nine in a report dated December thirteenth, sixty three reflects the female referred to
- 25:55above to be guess who Joe who Wanda Joyce kill him? Of thirteen fifty
- 26:06one Galloway Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Customer referred to the above has been
- 26:11identified in the Dallas report as John Carter interview located Blah blah blah insomuch as
- 26:19customer and female referred to by Bob been identified and previously interviewed. No further
- 26:23action recommended. Now what's interesting here is that John Carter, according to this
- 26:33cab driver, was creeping and having sex with Hank Killim's wife, his buddy's
- 26:41wife, Wanda, and he said, let's get up, Let's get this
- 26:48cab moving. Her husband may come home in any minute. But yeah,
- 26:55no further action recommended though, you know, of course bid God forbid the
- 27:03story. As they say, Joe gets thicker spice there, yeah, and
- 27:11thicker. Yes, that's what she said. Now this is the one h
- 27:17FBI document looks like I'm sorry. January twenty first urgent to Tampa. Jack
- 27:26Ruby aka Lee Harvey Oswald aka deceased Dash Victim cro Dallas. Wanda Joyce kill
- 27:33Him was employed by Jack Ruby as a waitress and or cigarette girl and or
- 27:40dancer from July last to November last. Wanda was asked to leave the Carousel
- 27:47Club by Ruby because her husband, Henry Thomas Killim of eight one one four
- 27:52Newport Avenue, Tampa, Florida, continued to come to the club while Wanda
- 27:57was on duty, violation of Ruby's rules. Wanda then returned to work at
- 28:03the Carousel club in January of sixty four, after her husband had left Dallas
- 28:08to go to Florida, Tampa. Please locate and interview Henry Thomas Killim,
- 28:17r e his association with Ruby. Ask him specifically if he knows of any
- 28:22association between Ruby and Lee Harvey Oswald and that comes straight from Jay. I
- 28:32believe it's Jay Gordon Shanklin. He want to know, He wants to know.
- 28:42Fast forward to February twenty second, nineteen sixty seven. Well, Subject
- 28:53Hank Killim died in March of nineteen sixty four, and the circumstances surrounding his
- 29:03death are very as the kids say, Joe, Sus Sus, Yes,
- 29:10Yes, got that one yes on this date, February twenty second, nineteen
- 29:18and sixty seven. On this date, Peggy Simpson of the Associated Press,
- 29:25Dallas, Texas telephonically advised as follows, AP received news from Florida that Pensacola
- 29:32County, Florida officers have in order to exhume the body of subject. Subject
- 29:37died in March of sixty four when he walked through a glass window. Joe
- 29:44half after one that I'm just kidding and live to tell about it. The
- 29:51subject was supposedly married to a stripper that worked for Jack Ruby, and supposedly
- 29:55worked as a painter with John Carter, a former roommate of Lee Harvey Ossa
- 30:00who was also banging Hank William's wife. Simpson had no further information and had
- 30:07contacted this office to inquire about the above matter. Blah blah blah blah blah
- 30:11blah blah blah blah blah blah right right, right right, Okay, So
- 30:17I guess in sixty seven, this stuff's starting to heat up a little bit.
- 30:22Once people found out about his death and the circumstances surrounding his death,
- 30:27People like Penn Jones, Mark Lane, they jumped on this story because once
- 30:33they found out and what his wife was saying, and what his brother was
- 30:40saying and what his mother was saying is crazy. So there was an article
- 30:47in the New York Post. So this is national news in nineteen sixty seven.
- 30:51Okay, February nineteen sixty seven in the New York Post, and it
- 30:56says dateline Pensacola, Florida, February twenty. Authorities are investigating the death of
- 31:02a Florida man two years ago at the request of his brother, who said
- 31:07he wanted a fresh probe because of the current investigation in New Orleans. Thank
- 31:11you, Jim Garrison of the Kennedy assassination. The brother Earl Killhim, said
- 31:17the dead man, Thomas Henry Killim, told him he fled Dallas in December
- 31:22of sixty three because he was being harassed by quote unquote agents agents. Killim
- 31:32said his brother didn't specify whether the agents were federal, state or something else.
- 31:38Maybe it was the men in black. Joe, Yes, those little
- 31:42men in black in ordered Texas Rangers. Not canna be confused with the New
- 31:49York Rangers or the Grays. I'm a dead man, Killim quoted his brother
- 31:56as saying, I've run as far as I'm going to run. Wanda Killim,
- 32:02the dead man's wife, reached yesterday in Dallas by the Pensacola News Journal,
- 32:07said her husband had been questioned several times about the assassination by federal agents.
- 32:14Killim died beside a broken shop window on a Pensacola street March nineteenth and
- 32:20sixty four. His throat had been slashed slashed So just so y'all can get
- 32:29a little uh visual here, all right, this is the building that mister
- 32:37Killim died in front of it looks like the TSPD. I gotta say,
- 32:43you think without the I mean it's missing a couple floors, but goddamn,
- 32:47I mean it's even got the rounded upper windows. Oh yeah, I mean
- 32:53this is crazy. This is Pensacola. So this is a close up of
- 32:59the crowd I'm seeing here, folks. So on the left here Killim's body
- 33:02went through the store front of the Thesan building on Palafox Street, shattering the
- 33:09glass. Now, mind you, Joe, there's no witnesses to this whatsoever.
- 33:15Okay, they just find the poor man's dead body on the sidewalk.
- 33:21So this is the Ramona Street sidewalk, Romana Street sidewalk where KILLI mysteriously fell
- 33:29to his death. And that's circle marks the spot. I guess, circle
- 33:35and arrow. And I'm guessing it was a pretty bloody scene because you can
- 33:39see even down the street a little bit, there's there's more white circle.
- 33:45You can see what looks like, you know, blood splatter on the sidewalk
- 33:49looks like it'd be a pool dent way down, you know. And you
- 33:54figure if this guy had a jugular cut with some plate glass, he would
- 34:00have bleeding like a stuck pig until he just ran out of gas and ran
- 34:05out of blood and crumpled in a heap. But that is the official story.
- 34:10Now, the official story is they said that he died, that this
- 34:20was a suicide. Joe. I mean, I can think of a hundred
- 34:25other ways to commit suicide rather than putting your head through a plate glass window
- 34:31and slicing your neck, you know what I'm saying. I mean, hell,
- 34:37he could have went up to the roof of his building and swan dived
- 34:42off of it and it been better. You know. Yeah, there are
- 34:46better ways to do it, for sure. But uh, yeah, I
- 34:51digress. I mean, who am I to say? You know? Good
- 34:55lord? Yeah, police said the death was an apparent suicide. The coroner
- 35:05officially ruled it as accidental. What do they call it? Death by adventure
- 35:12or misadventure? I think that's what the coroner calls it. But I never
- 35:20heard that saying. I've never heard that same. Yeah, death by misadventure?
- 35:27Earl kill him thirty eight? A car salesman has asked Escambria County Solicitor
- 35:32Carl Harper, Oh, Carl Harper to exume the body to determine the exact
- 35:37cause of death. Harper said he took a statement from kill Him yesterday morning
- 35:43and would investigate immediately. He would not discuss his investigation except to say that
- 35:46he was seeking concrete evidence, not suspicions. Harper said he planned to talk
- 35:52to the New Orleans DA Jim Garrison, who was conducting an assassination probe.
- 35:59Wanda kill Him said her husband returned to Florida in early December sixty three,
- 36:02saying he was going to go there to look for a job. She stayed
- 36:07in Dallas, where she had been employed for several years as a hostess in
- 36:13a nightclub owned by Jack Ruby. Ruby, who died of cancer while in
- 36:16custody, was charged with the sling of Lee Harvey Oswald blah blah blah.
- 36:22Miss Killum said she too favored an investigation of her husband's death instead of the
- 36:25suicide, ruling that no, Hank would not do that. She said her
- 36:32husband was employed briefly in Dallas as a house painter by a man named John
- 36:37Carter. Earl Killm said Carter once roomed in the same Dallas boarding roomy house
- 36:43as Oswald. So I mean I don't know about you. Joe. But
- 36:47I think if you're a painter, right, it's pretty easy to find a
- 36:53job. I think so, and I think even today as a painter or
- 37:00final job. Yes, I mean, okay, you have to move to
- 37:07Tampa to find a job. I mean, good lord, Okay. But
- 37:13the reason he moved back there is because that's where he grew up in Pensacola,
- 37:15and that's where his mother was living. And that's where he was living.
- 37:19He was living with his mother. Okay, that makes sense. Yeah.
- 37:25So here was another article same Yeah, This is from the New York
- 37:30Daily News. Harassed man's kin asked for his exhumation Pensacola, Florida. The
- 37:39county solicitor was asked today to assume the body of a man who, according
- 37:44to his brother, believed he was being harassed by agents following the assassination of
- 37:49President Kennedy. The man, Thomas Henry Killum, died March seventeenth. So
- 37:53that narrows it down. We have to day March seventeenth, sixty four,
- 37:58amid shattered glass on a downtown Pensacola street. The Pensacola News Journal said killing
- 38:06was married to a stripper who worked for Jack Ruby in Dallas. The paper
- 38:10said that Killing worked as a painter with a man named John Carter, who
- 38:14had roomed in Dallas. I mean, they keep hammering these details. Home
- 38:19police listed to to death as a probable suicide, but the corner ruled that
- 38:23kill him fell accidentally through a plate glass window. It happens. It happens,
- 38:34Yeah, it happens. All right. I might have fallen through our
- 38:37downstairs and put my hand through a glass window, so you can't rule it
- 38:44out. But I'm sure you were intoxicated. No comment, M. We're
- 38:53on the record here, all right. Now. End of February sixty seven.
- 39:00Another FBI document from J. Gordon Shanklin, who's the sac Special Agent
- 39:06in charge Dallas. Now he's hearing Earl and Wanda talking in the press,
- 39:13right, so he's the date again. This is the end of February twenty
- 39:21eight, sixty seven, Okay, because he was very involved in some of
- 39:24the after Marina things, and his name comes up a lot if you look
- 39:29into the FBI reports in the aftermath. I'm sorry, sure, yeah,
- 39:32I mean this is like five or six days after what there's there's a newspaper
- 39:38clippings, he says, Inspector Rex Schroeder of the Bureau called me this afternoon
- 39:45and stated he'd received an Airtel from Jacksonville, Florida, dated February twenty third.
- 39:50This airteiler Airtel set forth date appearing in the Pensacola Journal on two,
- 39:57twenty two sixty seven. In this art, cool it was stated to kill
- 40:00him had claimed that the men he described as federal agents visited him repeatedly after
- 40:06the assassination, and he lost one job after another, and he attributed this
- 40:12to the interrogations. He said that the men never showed identification. Now,
- 40:16who's that sound like? Sounds like secret service agent on the NOLL. I
- 40:25don't know, no sounds that's the same thing that Lee Oswald said. That's
- 40:30why you pissed at the FBI, because they visited him repeatedly after the assassination
- 40:36and he lost one job after another. And he attributed this to the harassment
- 40:39from the FBI, Oh for sure. And you know, when reading about
- 40:45this topic for the show, I came across a bunch of book out and
- 40:50odom things and how he was interviews and hosty actually was hosty and odem I
- 40:55think or book out and hosty, And when Lee realized that it was Hosty
- 41:04and book out shortly after the assassination because Boyd, that's where I got it
- 41:07from. Albert Boyd was escorted Oswalt into the interrogation room, and he was
- 41:21also in the TSBD and also at Beckley, and it was Oswalt did not
- 41:30and I think people a lot of people will know this. Oswalt did not
- 41:34take wal to Hosty being there because Hosty has stop by, and you know,
- 41:39he thought he was either getting with Marina or harassing Marina, and that's
- 41:44what forced him to maybe write that letter, which we'll see later destroyed.
- 41:49It's a whole bunch of shenanigans there, but yes, very true, all
- 41:54right, So I want to say he said that the men never showed idea,
- 42:00so did his wife, Wanda kill him? Even left Dallas for Florida.
- 42:05But the agents in quotes brow beat his wife into telling them where he
- 42:08was, and she said Florida. Wanda reportedly told them she didn't want to
- 42:14narrow it down for them. Apparently, Schroeder stated they needed a teletype tonight
- 42:21to refute these allegations being accused at them from Wanda and Earl. He wanted
- 42:29us to tell him how many times kill Him and Wanda were interviewed. Also
- 42:34advised as to whether we found out from Wanda that kill Him was in Florida.
- 42:37He stated the teletype should also indicate the agents who conducted these interviews and
- 42:44whether or not they properly identified themselves as agents of the FBI. Said,
- 42:50Shanklin's pissed and then he wants answers, so he gets them. Well,
- 43:00I'm sure he didn't want him this. This is the answer, okay to
- 43:07his airtail that he set out, and it's is addressed to j Edgar Hoover,
- 43:15the Director of the FBI, from the special Agent in charge of Dallas,
- 43:22Jack Ruby. Blah blah blah blah blah. Files of Dallas office revealed
- 43:25that Wanda Joyce Killim was interviewed on only one occasion in Dallas by FBI agents,
- 43:31and then her husband, Henry Thomas Killim was reported as residing at eight
- 43:37one one for Newport Avenue, Tampa, Florida. So apparently they're saying Wanda
- 43:45was only interviewed once and that she told him exactly where he was staying in
- 43:49Florida, not just Florida. They got eight one one for Newport Avenue,
- 43:54Tampa, Florida, and that Henry Thomas Killim was interviewed on one occasion only,
- 44:01and that being at the above address in Tampa, Florida, by an
- 44:06FBI agent. Agents properly identified themselves on each of the above two interviews,
- 44:12no indication. Wanda Joyce kill Him, ever, reported to Dallas FBI that
- 44:15her husband was actually in Pensacola, so they got their answer. But if
- 44:23it was the FBI only interviewed each of them one time, never together,
- 44:30but that it was so bad that supposedly Hank had to leave Dallas and go
- 44:37back home to mommy in Pensacola. And he's repeatedly saying that they were harassing
- 44:45him. So who were these mysterious agents? Hard to say, hard to
- 44:52say. They didn't want to interview Hank and Wanda together, Is that what
- 44:55you said? They didn't. He'd already left for Dallas by the time they
- 45:00figured out, because I don't think he was on the radar until John Carter
- 45:08put him on blast as being Hey, I'm friends with Hank kill Him and
- 45:14Wanda blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah you were, John Carter, he
- 45:19was slaying that thing. You were painting that house white, like you know
- 45:23the irishman. Uh yeah, I used to that was the base off.
- 45:32Yes, yes, that's a good one. Didn't veiled reference. Thank you,
- 45:38And I was I was sharing this while you were talking, but I
- 45:43didn't want to interrupt you. This was an article I think you were reading
- 45:47that I came across and this was on Mary Farrell. So it looks like
- 45:50cartoons, but it has mister Wandham uh kill him on the left obviously Jack
- 45:57Ruby on the right, and it talks about how he Hank woind never killed
- 46:00himself. The hip, the hip honey talking three hundred per week nightclub hostess.
- 46:08That's a quote and a half. I must say, the hip honey,
- 46:13what the three? The hip honey talking maybe honey trap. Maybe that's
- 46:19like a yeah, three hundred dollars per week nightclub hostess. She doesn't believe
- 46:25agents was a little black Man or Kennedy assassination plotters could have driven her husband
- 46:32to suicide. That can't be a photograph, dude. Well it's it's like
- 46:37it's like one of those courtroom sketches, you know, But it's funny that
- 46:44like that's what comes up. That's funny. Bubbles. It looks like she's
- 46:49melting. Yes, yes, we all are, sir. So fast forward
- 46:55to well, not fast forward. We're still at the in February sixty seven.
- 47:01So now this guy, okay Smith R. Gill no relation to g
- 47:08Ray. I don't think I saw that the king the same exact thing.
- 47:15I was like this, You can't make this stuff up, folks, you
- 47:20can't. An investigator with the County Solicitor's Office in Pensacola, Florida, advised
- 47:25that County Solicitor Carl Harper has been contacted by the deceased brother Earl you know
- 47:34for an exclamation right after reading an article about Jim Garrison's investigation into the assassination
- 47:42of President Kennedy, and mister Gil stated he'd previously known the deceased Henry Killam
- 47:50a white male. Oh, we have a birthdate, Joe white male born
- 47:55nine twenty two. So if he was arrested for trafficking sex trafficking in nineteen
- 48:05forty nine, he would have been twenty seven at the time of his arrest.
- 48:08It's not out of the realm of possibility. If you're you know,
- 48:10if you're a sex trafficker, you know, if he was seventeen. You
- 48:15know, maybe not for twenty seven. You're old enough to know better.
- 48:22Rob an epic comment. Gills could be the new Martins, right, Oh,
- 48:32all right, he'd previously known him. Okay. He was born nine
- 48:36twenty two in Pensacola and for a number of years and related that on May
- 48:44twelfth, fifty eight. Now so we know of him being arrested for sex
- 48:50trafficking in forty nine. So in fifty eight, the deceased was arrested by
- 48:53local authorities on charges of breaking and entering and grand larceny. On October twenty
- 49:02third, fifty eight, the deceased entered a plea of guilty to the charges
- 49:07and was placed on seven years probation. It's a long probation. That is
- 49:15a long ass probation. Shortly after being placed on probation, the deceased absconded,
- 49:23which means he jetted from Pensacola and turned himself into local authorities orner about
- 49:31twelve six sixty three. Now, I'm sorry, Hank, kill him.
- 49:40But the fact that you were on probation and you're crying because you're being chased
- 49:46by agents, gee, I wonder why could it be? Because you were
- 49:53on the run. I don't know, just saying, but I didn't know
- 50:00that he turned himself into Dallas authorities on December the sixth of what year,
- 50:09nineteen sixty three? Yeah, so this predates the John Carter interview. Okay,
- 50:17and sir, I have a document, because we're going chronological order here,
- 50:22yees, I have something. And this is the first document of the
- 50:28killims right, and this is of twelve fourteen, So that was what five
- 50:34days after you just said eight ninth, eight days after? Eight days after?
- 50:40Right, So this is when the first FBI report comes up. And
- 50:45this was referred to in other documents that Rob and I have been looking into,
- 50:50and it talks a lot about some of what we've already said. But
- 50:55Wanda killing him, kill Him knows Jack Ruby about fifteen years Rob through her
- 51:01patronizing of the clubs in July sixties. Yeah, that's a nice way to
- 51:07put it. Well, she's worked for Jack Ruby for a long time,
- 51:09not just as the Carousel, but a lot of his other clubs as well.
- 51:13Yeah, right back to their early fifties. M Yeah, she wasn't
- 51:16a stripper, right, she was like a cigarette girl and a hostess or
- 51:21well, I think she was a little bit of everything, girl, if
- 51:23you know what, I'm all right, Well, officially, yeah, maybe
- 51:27on the night she wasn't stripping, she was selling cigarettes. Hey yeah,
- 51:31I mean and banging her husband's best friends. Oh yeah, uh but yeah,
- 51:39but before you continue, I just wanted to say that it just it
- 51:43just continued a lot of what we've already gone through here. She likes Jack
- 51:46Ruby and feels he's a wonderful employer, even if he is very temperamental.
- 51:51You know, we've talked about that a lot. She last saw Ruby about
- 51:54one month ago, so this is, you know, December fourteenth, so
- 52:00you're talking November fourteenth, about nine days before the assassination. Ish. She
- 52:07doesn't know if any trips made by Ruby and has never seen Ruby with a
- 52:12gun. I don't know why. That's for all evant. She does not
- 52:14know Lee Harvey. Oswalt has no information regarding any connection between Ruby and Oswalt.
- 52:19However, John Carter, a close friend of her husband's, lives at
- 52:23the rooming house where Oswalt resided. Carter has never been at the Carousel Club
- 52:30to her knowledge, and is non acquaint of Ruby. The only doll DPD
- 52:37that has ever seen him. Were two un uniformed polite patrolman and one uniformed
- 52:45sergeant. So just because I didn't want you to go further on the timeline,
- 52:50that's very interesting, yes, all right, back to mister Gil continued
- 52:57that after the deceased turned himself in, the deceased was continued on probation.
- 53:04So after he turned himself in from running for probation for seven years, actually
- 53:08more than more than seven fifty eight six, so he was gonna run for
- 53:12five years, they just let him keep being on probation instead of throwing him
- 53:20in jail and making him serve his sentence for the original charge of breaking and
- 53:24entering grand larceny. But I'm sure the Dallas police had bigger fish to fry
- 53:30in his time frame, right, I think so? Yeah, kill said
- 53:44after this the deceased mother, Okay, Mary Jane, kill him, Mary
- 53:51Jane. I love you, Mary Jane. Last days of Mary Jane.
- 54:00Time to feel the pain, Mary Jane. Kill him. Three sixteen Western
- 54:06Romina Street, Pensacola called him this gill Now on numerous occasions and requested aid
- 54:13in placing the deceased in a mental institution as he was quote hearing voices on
- 54:22the radio. Should you not? Uh man, they'll just throw anyone into
- 54:30a medical I mean, isn't that how radio works, Joe? I mean,
- 54:37you hear voices on the radio, and you hear music on the radio.
- 54:42You think, But she said he was hearing stuff. There wasn't there.
- 54:46He's hearing stuff on voices on the radio. Wasn't there? Oh man?
- 54:52Oh lordy? Uh imagining quote another quote, imagining people. We're following
- 55:00him and also seeing snakes everywhere. Interesting, Maybe he was tripping his balls
- 55:13off, Okay, because it certainly sounds like he was dosed and on something
- 55:20good. I mean, those aren't Those aren't symptoms of mental instability? Yeah,
- 55:24those are symptoms that you're tripping your ass off. Is a hearkening back
- 55:30Joe to uh Frank Frank Olsen who went through a plate glass window a little
- 55:44higher up than Hank kill him while he's tripping balls and killed by who?
- 55:52See? Yeah, And we had a previous quote by Betty Bobo about like
- 56:00twenty minutes ago said the mp Ultra SWA went back and I see dead people.
- 56:06Yes, oh lordie, that's not all. He was seeing snakes and
- 56:16the deceased mother also told him that the deceased was taken some kind of pills.
- 56:23I told you this dude was dosing. Man Gil said he visited the
- 56:30deceased and his mommy on numerous occasions, accompanied by the Florida Probation Officer John
- 56:37Skinner. On one occasion, he obtained samples of the pills being taken by
- 56:45the deceased and had them analyzed and determined that they were in fact barbituous and
- 56:52amphetamine tablets else DEE. As a result, arrangements were made to have the
- 57:00committed to Escambria General Hospital for treatment, in which commitment was scheduled for the
- 57:07very next day, March eighteenth, nineteen sixty four, which will be the
- 57:14day after he died. Gil stated that he's of the opinion that during a
- 57:20hallucination, Joe the deceased either fell or jumped into the store window, which
- 57:28resulted in his death by being cut by broken glass. Mister Gill advised that
- 57:36at the present time, solicit to HAPPA is in the process of making inquiries
- 57:40to determine if there is any reasonable ground to dig up the deceased body and
- 57:45conduct an autopsy. However, at the present time, mister Harper does not
- 57:50believe there are sufficient grounds or reasons for such an action, so spoiler alert,
- 58:00they didn't dig him up and do an autopsy. No nw ny name.
- 58:07And then I came across a very interesting document from the Garrison investigation to
- 58:14Louis Ivon, from investigator Gary Sanders, who was uh interviewing a woman by
- 58:22the name of Missus Kelton, missus Jean Kelton. This tribble, yes,
- 58:30oh, Louis ivan. During the summer of sixty three, missus Kelton worked
- 58:35as a saleswoman at Crouse Department store on Canal Street. In July or August,
- 58:40missus Kelton says she sold a light fixture ceiled and hanging tight to Lee
- 58:45Hobby Oswald. Oswald was accompanied by his wife and they had a little girl
- 58:52with him. Missus Calton said she remembered the couple because Oswald was quite rude
- 58:57and abrupt, and his wife seemed like a very sweet missus Calton said that
- 59:01Oswald repeated the things she said to it. She said to his wife in
- 59:06a foreign language wasn't French of Spanish, but kind of Slovak or Germanic.
- 59:12Missus Kelton said the woman was obviously pregnant, and the little girl called the
- 59:15pregnant woman mother, Hello, yes, mother. Kelton said the reason Oswald
- 59:23became so irritated was because the light fixture that he wanted had to be brought
- 59:30from a storeroom and required some time. Finally, Oswald got tired of waiting.
- 59:37I'm tired of waiting. It's cardium light fixture, and asked to have
- 59:39the fixture delivered, according to Missus Kelton, to an address on Magazine Street.
- 59:45Calton said Oswald was wearing dark pants and a white sports shirt. She
- 59:50can't remember what the woman was wearing. Now, that's the interesting part of
- 59:55the article until you get down to the park where she says. Until November
- 1:00:07sixty six and three years previous to that, Missus Calton had lived on the
- 1:00:12third floor of nine oh five Governor Nichols Street now Governor Nichols Street in the
- 1:00:17early sixties in New Orleans, part of the French Quarter, and there was
- 1:00:22a lot of parties going on around here, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:00:30A lot of paint and gold and huffing paint and nipple tweaking, things like
- 1:00:35that going on around here. Joe, I love the huffing paintments. Guess
- 1:00:38yes. Uh. The apartment house was managed by missus Antoinette Horneff. Horneff
- 1:00:47was she Horror Hornoff, and the bookkeeping and records are handled by the Caruso
- 1:00:53Gold Real Estate Company. Calton says she used to see clay Shaw on numerous
- 1:01:00occasions on the street Joe at Public's food Store Rampart Street, going in and
- 1:01:04out of Cosimo's Bar, and Missus Kelton since she used to do her laundry
- 1:01:13at the launderette close to the Rider coffee house and observed many of the people
- 1:01:16going in and out of this coffee house, and she says they also frequented
- 1:01:24this Cosimo's Bar. During the period of time Missus Kelton lived at nine oh
- 1:01:31five Governor Nichol Street. A young man occupied an apartment in these same quarters
- 1:01:36of the same address. Missus Kelton knew the man, but does not remember
- 1:01:39his name or anything about him, except that she thinks he may have worked
- 1:01:43in the window displayed department on one of the Canal Street stores. Missus Kelton
- 1:01:49said that the man she had seen and now knows is Clayshaw. Visited this
- 1:01:52young man on numerous occasions. I wonder what they were doing. Joe h.
- 1:02:00Missus Calton said she once encountered Shaw going in and out, and in
- 1:02:07and out, and in and out of the entrance which led to the slave
- 1:02:13quarters at nine oh five Governor Nichols. Missus Calton spoke with Shaw on many
- 1:02:19occasions, usually just passing the time of day with him. Once the young
- 1:02:22man told missus Calton that my patron is sending me to Puerto Rico. Preferring
- 1:02:30to Shaw. Missus Kelton said she knew the young man was a gay,
- 1:02:37and she assumed that Shaw was a gay. Also, a man by the
- 1:02:44name of John Carter still lives at Wait, what a man by the name
- 1:02:51of John Carter still lives? And now I know it's a common name.
- 1:02:53Pefee wanted calm down, calm down, jabs as bad as John Mark.
- 1:03:00Okay, Carter. One man by the name of John Carter still lives at
- 1:03:07nine oh five Governor Nichols, And according to missus Kelton, Newshaw's boyfriend,
- 1:03:13the nineteen sixty seven city directory list John Carter as a painter living at nine
- 1:03:22oh five Governor Nichols. Now I know a lot of people are named John
- 1:03:30Carter. Maybe a lot of guys named John Carter are painters. But you
- 1:03:38literally can't make this up. This is a footnote to this whole thing.
- 1:03:47Now here's a funny Joe, real quick, I haven't been laughing. Two
- 1:03:55days after Hank Killim kills himself. Two days after March nineteen, nineteen sixty
- 1:04:01four to mister Rosen, who's you know, pretty high up in the FBI.
- 1:04:14This comes from C. L McGowan, subject John Carter, Havard of
- 1:04:19Grace, Maryland, information concerning At nine pm on this date, a person
- 1:04:29identifying himself as John Carter, who appeared to be a little innocent schoolboy,
- 1:04:36called, indicating he had seen a science fiction movie concerning flying sauces and requested
- 1:04:44any information that the Bureau might have as to whether such actually existed for use
- 1:04:48in writing his science paper. He was advised that this was a matter which
- 1:04:54was not within the jurisdiction of the FBI, and consequently no such material could
- 1:04:59be furnished by this bureau action just for information. Now you know this is
- 1:05:04a bold faced lie, Joseph. They lied to this little boy, John
- 1:05:10Carter. They lied to him because we know Guy Bannister was one of the
- 1:05:17first quote unquote X files investigators for the FBI chasing UFOs in the Midwest.
- 1:05:27I'm happy because I was about too. Yeah, they had little boy,
- 1:05:32John Carter. They lied to him. It's just the timing, you know.
- 1:05:35You find these documents and you're like, oh. When I first read
- 1:05:40it, I was like, oh, cool. Hold. Then I saw
- 1:05:42it was a schoolboy. I was like, damn it. Then really a
- 1:05:45wild if it was like legit, John, that John Carter we're talking about
- 1:05:50May second, sixty eight to Louis Ivon from Sergeant Fred Williams, investigator regarding
- 1:05:59the low location of John Carter. They were looking for John Carter because they
- 1:06:02smelled a connection in the Garrison investigation between John Carter, Kill him, Kill
- 1:06:09him and the assassination as instructed. I went to nine oh five Governor Nichol
- 1:06:15Street to locate John Carter, a white male who reportedly knew of clay Shaw's
- 1:06:19associations in the quarter. John Carter, a white male five nine, one
- 1:06:27hundred and fifty pounds, smooth complexion, black hair slightly graying at the temples,
- 1:06:34A painter by profession, does reside at nine oh five Governor Nichol Street
- 1:06:40in the rear upstairs slave quarters. He says he hasn't been to Texas since
- 1:06:50nineteen fifty six, and he stated that he did not know Shaw personally,
- 1:06:56but he had only seen him in the quarter. A follow up on this
- 1:07:00made by Gary Sanders as he was this source of the original information. So
- 1:07:05do be lion, Do be lion. Mh. But uh, yeah,
- 1:07:11that brings us up to the Garrison investigation. And now we're in the seventies
- 1:07:16for the HSCA and I will drop it, hand the baton over to Joseph
- 1:07:24wherever you're at. Gigglely Joe because I've been giggling for the gig Joe,
- 1:07:30Giggy giggley if you get that reference. And uh now I just saw that
- 1:07:38comment. What this one? That's how you have to open the show from
- 1:07:48now on. Yeah. I actually had to message it and say, uh,
- 1:07:58Scott, thanks sir, appreciate it, buddy, Scott, you are
- 1:08:02the man. Thank you. We will send the lavender panthers over. It's
- 1:08:06a party with you a little bit, thank you. And yeah, because
- 1:08:13I don't want to be uh you know what, what was the I think
- 1:08:18it was Trey that said at last episode, I don't want to be chafiller
- 1:08:27Joe. It might have been somewhere else if I if I said, I'm
- 1:08:30crazy, but damn Ron, just do the damn segment. You're you're killing
- 1:08:40all my audios. Here. You showed me how to do audios and then
- 1:08:44you took it away from me. But I didn't take anything away from here.
- 1:08:47Okay, probably in the wrong section I was. I was looking for
- 1:08:51the sex barbers comment. Oh it's there, but I'm I'm not gonna yeah
- 1:09:01moors than six Bob is. Do you believe that Doug didn't get that right
- 1:09:09away? It's hard to believe, being this big soprano's head that he is.
- 1:09:15Man. I did you see the New News? Which New News Next
- 1:09:21year they're coming out with uh Soprano, The Rise of Tony Soprano? Is
- 1:09:28that with uh? His son's playing oh, Mike or no, uh whatever.
- 1:09:35He was in the many stands of Newark as the young well they read
- 1:09:42yeah, but they're redoing like an episodic. Yeah, you know deal called
- 1:09:47soprano, just called soprano. You know. I saw that on either Twitter
- 1:09:53or Instagram, and I didn't believe it. And you want something cool,
- 1:09:56Rob, I went to the many stands of newer which was the prequel of
- 1:10:01The Sopranos right in New York City, and all the actors were there.
- 1:10:10It was the opening, like as it opened in the movie theaters, and
- 1:10:14they they played it there. It was that one of those really fancy places.
- 1:10:20Giggity giggity, Sally, we love it when we see the pounds coming
- 1:10:25through. Thank you so much. Thank you translates to like eighty dollars in
- 1:10:30the United States money, So thank you very much. Yes, we appreciate
- 1:10:36it. I can't remember where. But getting back to the topic at hand.
- 1:10:44So I showed one document before, and like, there's not a ton
- 1:10:47of of documents on Killium and John Carter, but this was really interesting.
- 1:10:53This was an HCA final report document and my keyword shirt this and said the
- 1:11:00Warrant Commission looked at Ruby's conduct and associations from November twenty first through November twenty
- 1:11:06fourth to determine if they reflected a conspiratorial relationship between Ruby and Oswald, right,
- 1:11:15And I think that's what they were trying to cover up Rob was this
- 1:11:20and why they didn't maybe interview killing him or Wanda or or John Carter.
- 1:11:32Right. As for numerous phone contacts Ruby had yeah, with underwroll figures for
- 1:11:42weeks preceding the assassination. And we know that the Commission believed his explanation that
- 1:11:47they had to do with his troubles with the American skilled of variety artists.
- 1:11:53That was his excuse for calling all these out of town people, which included
- 1:12:00like McWillie and other shady sus characters there, and that rather than reflecting other
- 1:12:13sinister associations that might have been related to the president's assassination. The Commission also
- 1:12:20found no evidence that Ruby and Oswalt had ever been acquainted. Again, They're
- 1:12:26like really playing kind of defense here, although the Commission knowledge that they had
- 1:12:31both lived in the oak Cliffe section of Dallas, had post office boxes at
- 1:12:39the Terminal Annex, and had possible but tenuous third party links the period.
- 1:12:49These included Oswald's landlady Earlene Roberts, whose sister Bertha Creek had visited Ruby as
- 1:12:59Yeah, she had. She had a nice cheek that mister rah had visited
- 1:13:05Ruby's nightclub on November eighteenth. I'll tell you what I've seen a picture of
- 1:13:11birth the cheek. You put her and her sister, Earlene Roberts together,
- 1:13:17and poor Earleen got the bed into the DNA spectrum because birth the cheek was
- 1:13:24relatively hot early. Why don't you have a photo of this, Ram Well,
- 1:13:32I wasn't expecting. We're saving we're saving it. We're saving it for
- 1:13:36the next episode. But Earlen Roberts, whose sister and a fellow boarder at
- 1:13:45Osborne's rooming house, John Carter, who was friendly with a close friend and
- 1:13:50employee of Ruby, wanted to kill him. The commission also looked to Ruby's
- 1:13:57ties to other individuals or groups that might have been observed or obviated the need
- 1:14:03for a direct contact contact with Oswalt near at the time of the assassination.
- 1:14:09Ruby was found not to be linked with two pro or anti Castro Cuban groups
- 1:14:16m debatable. He was also found not to be linked to quote illegal activities
- 1:14:25with members of Organized Underworld. Now that's really interesting, Rob, because you
- 1:14:30know this is HCA, and you know the HSCA under Blakey kind of blame
- 1:14:39the mob for whatever they could, Right, it was probable the mafia was
- 1:14:44somehow involved, right, I think that was semi the wording of their The
- 1:14:49problem is all the mafioso that they were able to interview denied everything, and
- 1:14:58a lot of the mafiosa wanted to interview never made it to the interview day,
- 1:15:03so found in a drum. Yeah I was shot in the mouth.
- 1:15:10Yeah. Yeah. It's just really interesting that they worded it that way because
- 1:15:16the HCA, we know as two like try to blame the mob as in
- 1:15:26comparison to say like anti Castro Cuban groups, which I think I could speak
- 1:15:31for rob and this and this point that I think we think that they had
- 1:15:38a significant role, right, and they seem to just poo poo that that
- 1:15:45aspect of it and blame the mafia. Yet they don't tie killing him and
- 1:15:55Ruby and Carter to other groups. Right, kill him, God damn kill
- 1:16:01them, kill him, kill them. The Commission noted that Ruby kill him,
- 1:16:06Yes, kill them, that could be an alias, by the way,
- 1:16:14disclaim that he was associated with organized crime activities, and it did not
- 1:16:21find reason to disbelieve him. The evidence fell short of demonstrating that Ruby was
- 1:16:28significantly affiliated with organized crime. Okay, I think that in twenty twenty four
- 1:16:39here we can say that is not true, because yeah, it's pretty safe
- 1:16:45assumption. Yeah, in the year of Our Lord twenty and twenty four.
- 1:16:49You know what, Rob, I was reading a bunch of documents and they
- 1:16:53don't say year of our Lord anymore. They just say, like twenty twenty
- 1:16:58three, twenty four. Well Jesus has been canceled. Yeah that's true.
- 1:17:02So but yeah, no more of that nonsense. I like the It just
- 1:17:06sounds good, right, the year for our Lord. I just like it
- 1:17:11now in nineteen and thirty five, I like that in twenty and twenty four,
- 1:17:20we should bring we should bring that back. Yeah. I totally got
- 1:17:25in a petition to bring it back one hundred. But yeah, I just
- 1:17:30wanted to show you that HCA thing I found, and I had found the
- 1:17:36earlier it was December of nineteen sixty three document that dealt with Wanda and uh
- 1:17:47killing him and Carter kill him, damn it, kill him, kill him.
- 1:17:53You felt it wrong initially, so I'm screwed. I don't have the
- 1:18:00short term memory. So but uh, okay, after week, I mean
- 1:18:06there's so many push down the pipe. Yeah, and you can just tell
- 1:18:15they're trying to really like not highlight You've ruby an Oswalt possible relationship, which
- 1:18:23I think, kill them. There you go. And Carter seemed to uh
- 1:18:30point towards so and you Deane's getting out of hand down there in Texas.
- 1:18:38Better handle your business. Called all right? So that brings us what's up,
- 1:18:47Tim, Tim's in the house. That brings us to the A R
- 1:18:55r B, the assassination Records and Review Board. And now you might not
- 1:19:00think that they did anything with the kill Them investigation, but they actually did.
- 1:19:10Apparently while they were having an open hearings in New Orleans, a man
- 1:19:19by the name of Elton Killing kill him, Elton, kill him, Elton
- 1:19:26kill him? Came forward. Elton, what is it? It's Elton like
- 1:19:31Elton, John Alton, Elton, Elton kill him comes forward and it just
- 1:19:42open hearing in New Orleans. Mean he comes forth and uh, he says,
- 1:19:47I know some of the things I may tell you this morning would not
- 1:19:51necessarily be admissible in courts hearsay, but it's still my research. So this
- 1:19:59is this is uh Elton's Elton kill Him's Yeah testimony? And Rob did he
- 1:20:09say he was a distant cousin. I think got there, Joe, I
- 1:20:12will get there, damn it. I wasn't sure what. Calm down,
- 1:20:16calm down, We'll get there. A promise, I promise. I promise
- 1:20:24back when Henry Thomas kill Him died in Pensacola, Florida. I was just
- 1:20:29a young boy, fifteen years old, Joe young, smooth boy. Prior
- 1:20:35to his death my household. He received a number of calls after the Kennedy
- 1:20:40assassination looking for Henry Thomas kill Him. I am a distant cousin of mister
- 1:20:47Killim. What does system means? Second? Third, I'm the sixth cousin
- 1:20:55twice removed. If you must know, interesting, I got the same last
- 1:21:00name. I mean we're related. He was one of the first suspicious deaths
- 1:21:08in the wake of the Kennedy assassination. At the time of Hank Killem's death,
- 1:21:13he had lived previously in Dallas was married to a longtime employee of Jack
- 1:21:16Ruby's, Wanda Joyce Davis Killim. Hank was a large, imposing individual,
- 1:21:24approximately six foot four and two hundred and fifty pounds of master baiting fury.
- 1:21:30Hey six' four six four two fifty of sex trafficking fury. I'm not
- 1:21:36messing with that guy. No, probably hung like a freaking mule. He
- 1:21:43just looks like the type, all right. That just that's just wrong.
- 1:21:50Who made this YouTube? Handle what in the sam hell's going on around here?
- 1:22:00Gruber, I'll have you know my wang is not crooked, is as
- 1:22:06straight as an arrow, Sir, yes or madam whoever you are, Grueber,
- 1:22:19damn it. I have information that he worked either as a bouncer,
- 1:22:24a bartender, or a hangar out of sorts at Ruby's Carousel Club. That's
- 1:22:29new information that we did not have before. Joe when it says that Ruby
- 1:22:34kicked him out because he used to come on sniffing around there all the time,
- 1:22:38you know what I mean. Other researchers and family friends have uncovered the
- 1:22:43following about Kilm's relationship to the jfk assassination. Immediately after the assassination, Killm
- 1:22:51was questioned by the FBI in Dallas. Prior to living in Dallas, Killm
- 1:22:55was on probation, which we know where he acted as an informant. And
- 1:23:01here we go, Joe. He acted as an informant for the Sheriff's department
- 1:23:04in the County Solicitor's office, but Dallas FBI requested that the County Solicitor's office
- 1:23:11in Pensacola pick up kill him. After the assassination of John F. Kennedy,
- 1:23:16So this guy was also a rat, well not really a rat,
- 1:23:21but he was an informant while in Dallas, huh, as a lot of
- 1:23:30people were at that time. Yeah, while in Dallas, Killing painted houses
- 1:23:36with a man named John Carter who was a Beckley Street occupant and possibly helped
- 1:23:43find a place to stay at the request of Jack Ruby. Oh, thank
- 1:23:50you, Hell comes to play the Bloody Benders. Thank you very much.
- 1:23:55Well, thank you for helping straighten that out. I appreciate it. Uh,
- 1:24:02not that is anything wrong with having a crooked wing. I'm sure some
- 1:24:06some folks do have that problem. But you know, nope, straight straight
- 1:24:13eight bud straight. But who knows. Mhm, you can hang a flag
- 1:24:18off of this thing. Man, what are you talking about? Why would
- 1:24:25Dallas kill him painted with John Carter and possibly helped Oswald find a place to
- 1:24:30stay at the request of Jack Ruby. It's been reported that kill Him also
- 1:24:36resided at the Beckley Street to death address and shared a bathroom with Oswald.
- 1:24:44Well, what that's new information? Yeah, did he brush his teeth before
- 1:24:48he went to bed? Yeah, with Oswald's dick? Approximately, Sorry,
- 1:24:56I had to you threw me a softball. I had to not I got
- 1:25:00somebodys right out of the park without Approximately one week after the assassination, Killim
- 1:25:08returned to Pensacola a very frightened man and spoke to various people about the circumstances
- 1:25:14surrounding the assassination. He claimed he had special knowledge and carried around a large
- 1:25:18wallet filled with newspaper articles pertaining to the assassination. Kilim had stated that he
- 1:25:25had been in meetings in New Orleans and in Dallas where the assassination had been
- 1:25:30discussed. Killen was also a frequent visitor to New Orleans and liked to go
- 1:25:39to the show bar. As the committee may know, that's where Jada was
- 1:25:45employed. Yes, yes, and I understand that she wrote around in a
- 1:25:53red Chevy and Pollock convertible that was parked in the garage of Jack Ruby.
- 1:26:00Killing was picked up for violation of probation in Pensacola in December of sixty three.
- 1:26:06He was in jail for approximately two weeks because of that, but was
- 1:26:11checked out of jail daily and allowed to spend his days in a local bar
- 1:26:15because he was such a good widowing for mean. Killm told the owner of
- 1:26:20the bar that he had special knowledge of the assassination, and then he'd been
- 1:26:26involved in the transportation of a woman associated with Ruby. So maybe he didn't
- 1:26:40give up his sex trafficking days after all, Joe. Maybe he just got
- 1:26:44better at doing it. While in Pensacola, the FBI interviewed and polygraphed him,
- 1:26:51allegedly gave him a polygraph, and they generated memorandums about these interviews.
- 1:26:57I have not seen the hang kill Him polygrap but I would like to,
- 1:27:03and I've had FBI agents in Pensacola tell me they generated memorandums which I have
- 1:27:08not been able to obtain from the National Archives. Kill Him left Pensacola for
- 1:27:13Tampa in order to escape the harassment of the FBI. He was then reinterviewed
- 1:27:17in Tampa, which produced a statement as in the Warrant Commission report, which
- 1:27:23does not coincide with what he told anybody in Pensacola. Shocker. I have
- 1:27:29tried to talk to the FBI agents in Tampa that interviewed him down there,
- 1:27:32but they have refused to talk to me about their interviews with mister Killim.
- 1:27:38Killum was forced to come back to his mother's house in Pensacola. He stated
- 1:27:42the County Solicitors investigator in Pensacola who I've personally interviewed two weeks prior to his
- 1:27:46death, that there were little dark people, little dark people following him around
- 1:27:57who he described as either Mexicans or Cubans, and that they were out to
- 1:28:02kill him. There was also, in addition to the little dark people,
- 1:28:15there was also a man dressed as a priest who was following him around Pensacola
- 1:28:20at that period of time. And I know that Frank Sturgis was known to
- 1:28:24carry around a priest outfit. Of course David Ferry paraded around as a priest,
- 1:28:30and also his former roommate Raymond Burushars. I knew you were gonna say
- 1:28:34that. I feel like there's a good possibility that one of these three men
- 1:28:41were in Pensacola during that period of time shadowing mister Killim on the day this
- 1:28:48priest was sighted. This was independently verified Joe by the minister from mister Killim,
- 1:28:55who was present at his house and witnessed the person across the street watching
- 1:28:59the house. So we have a man dressed in a priest outfit peeking around
- 1:29:04a tree, watching another priest inside Haint Kilm's house, so that you know
- 1:29:13he verified it. Jack Martin, yeah, or Thomas Beckham or who knows.
- 1:29:20I talked to mister Kilm's probation officer, who personally took two FBI agents
- 1:29:25over to Killim's house because he had talked to mister Killham and had been advised
- 1:29:29in the information regarding special knowledge of the assassination. He told the probation officer
- 1:29:33that the only person he would reveal the full story of what he knew about
- 1:29:39would be Lyndon Johnson. So the only person I'm going to tell the whole
- 1:29:45story too, Lyndon Johnson. Bring him down to Florida. I'll tell him
- 1:29:48everything. I know everything. After the inning, Huh did he go no?
- 1:29:58I'll no, no. He was very busy. After the interview with
- 1:30:03the FBI, they advised the probation officer that kill Him needed psychiatric help.
- 1:30:11That psychiatric help was never forthcoming, because the next morning kill Him was dead.
- 1:30:17His death occurred on March seventeen sixty four in the early morning as a
- 1:30:23result of a single slash. There was three inches deep into his jugular vein
- 1:30:31that is the main vein Joe that runs from your brain to your heart.
- 1:30:39Yes, right on the side of your neck. Doesn't sound like a random
- 1:30:43like slashing, but I don't know. There's three inches deep. Officially,
- 1:30:54the death was ruled Where was Jack Ruby when this was all happening? Oh,
- 1:31:00I'm sorry, Yeah, who's in jail? I thought old Pinky might
- 1:31:03have stuck his pinky and uh, never mind. Officially, the death was
- 1:31:10ruled as a suicide on an accident that he apparently jumped or fell through a
- 1:31:13plate glass window. There were no other cuts on his body, Joe,
- 1:31:19you would think he would have a few if somehow his head went through a
- 1:31:24plate glass window. Yes, cut his neck, you would think glad he
- 1:31:30would have other cuts. I can't test you would. That's a little suss.
- 1:31:34Yes, Joe knows from experience. In nineteen sixty seven, his brother
- 1:31:44Earl tried to have the bodies uned. This was in the wake of the
- 1:31:46Garrison investigation, and that was denied by local authorities, citing no association between
- 1:31:54the assassination and the death of mister kill him. I've independently received CIA DOT
- 1:32:00documents and other material not provided to the JFK Archives pertending to kill him.
- 1:32:03He says, I feel that other FBI documents do exist, and this is
- 1:32:09because the number of encounters that I have verified that mister Killim did have with
- 1:32:13the FBI. I realized this one little individual is maybe not important to the
- 1:32:18grand scheme of things, but it does present to this board the problems that
- 1:32:23one person has and trying to obtain information from the national archives, which they
- 1:32:29may be denied this information by the FBI. And for that reason, I'm
- 1:32:33not able to put together a total view of what happened. Now, I've
- 1:32:36listened to other witnesses testify, and I can tell you about some of the
- 1:32:40things that I'm concerned about on a broader scale that might available that might be
- 1:32:46available to this Community Committee upon request. I understand that the CBS footage of
- 1:32:53what happened in Dallas has never been released by the network, that it may
- 1:32:57show Joe a student Baker that Oswald allegedly escaped the depository in Yes, you
- 1:33:03gotta watch out for those studi Bakers. I was watching the show not too
- 1:33:09long ago where they were discussing Haldeman's diary and Haldeman's Diary, there was a
- 1:33:15section class classified the Delt with a conversation that Richard Nixon, and then it
- 1:33:24jumps questions. I don't know what happened there, but I didn't miss anything.
- 1:33:31Apparently they cut him off and they'd heard enough, and mister Joyce with
- 1:33:36the A R R B asked him a question. Mister kill him, I
- 1:33:40think you said that the published interview by the FBI with your relative in Tampa
- 1:33:44did not coincide with a lot of information in Pensacola that he'd given to the
- 1:33:48FBI. I'm wondering, first, how do you know that? And second
- 1:33:53whether there might be documentation that supports that and that could be made available to
- 1:33:57the board or you can direct this to it. Mister killm says, I
- 1:34:00haven't interviewed three or three of the four wives allegedly married to mister Killin through
- 1:34:08the years, and upon his return from Dallas, he told one of them
- 1:34:13specifically that he knew Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby and that he has special
- 1:34:18knowledge concerned in the assassination. I've also interviewed a niece of mister Killolms who
- 1:34:24talked to him several days before his death, and she related to me that
- 1:34:28he told her that he knew Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby. I've also
- 1:34:33interviewed several other people who verified the same information. There's also some information that's
- 1:34:39published by Penn Jones. Penn Jones's research would be very valuable in this regard.
- 1:34:45He published an article where he described the fact that mister Killim lived in
- 1:34:48the rooming house with Oswald on Beckley Avenue and was seen in the company of
- 1:34:54Oswald before the assassination. That's interesting. I have to find that Penn Jones
- 1:35:01article. Certainly this doesn't coincide with the commission to Exhibit fourteen fifty one,
- 1:35:08which states to kill him had no knowledge of Lee Harvey Oswald and just a
- 1:35:12brief encounter with Ruby at the club over the fact his wife was a girl
- 1:35:15there and she knew nothing about him other than he had some dogs and she
- 1:35:19had fed him some pizza and they had gotten mad about that incident, and
- 1:35:25that was the extent of the committee. He would just eat the pizza and
- 1:35:28stuff. Joe wand Wanda feed me some pizza, feed down. She didn't
- 1:35:35know him, and we just read from a document she knew him fifteen years.
- 1:35:42Yeah. No, no, she didn't say she didn't know Ruby.
- 1:35:45She was. They were saying that that was the only contact that Hank had
- 1:35:48with Ruby, I see, and that was the extent of the commission exhibits
- 1:35:56the interview with mister kill Him, and of course the FBI agents who interviewed
- 1:35:59him are still alive and well in Tampa, and they won't talk about it.
- 1:36:01Of course they're under some oath I understand, not to discuss things that
- 1:36:04went on. Judge Tunnheim says, thank you very much, mister Killim.
- 1:36:10We appreciate your testimony this morning or this afternoon. I guess this brings us
- 1:36:15to the close of our public hearing today in New Orleans. I should mention
- 1:36:18I neglected too earlier that our colleague, doctor Henry Grass was unable to be
- 1:36:23with us today, could not join us. The testimony we received this morning,
- 1:36:28I think has been very helpful and very interesting, giving us some excellent
- 1:36:32insights. So there you have Elton Killim's a distant cousin of Hank Killim,
- 1:36:45with some insider baseball information that no No old Hank new Lee, Harvey Oswald
- 1:36:56and Jack Ruby, and possibly with staying at back under an assumed name.
- 1:37:03Yeah, and I think Rob he was a criminal defense lawyer, if I'm
- 1:37:10not mistaken. So it's not like he and yeah, he wasn't like living
- 1:37:14in the trailer parks and drinking. It has some more reasons right down,
- 1:37:19like a normal skufuza, right, yeah, And he went out and did
- 1:37:25interviews and you know, investigated things. So props to Elton, props to
- 1:37:30Elton kill him. Which brings us up to the present day. You know,
- 1:37:34when I was looking through all this stuff I'm looking, I found an
- 1:37:39article from a pencil, the Pensacola Beat. And this article is from just
- 1:37:47last year, Joe September sixteenth, twenty twenty three. Really yep. It's
- 1:37:53entitled Secret Suspicion and a Shattered Window the connection between JFK's assassination and aim serious
- 1:38:00death in Pensacola. And it just goes through the story. You know,
- 1:38:05han't kill him as a name that's likely unfamiliar to most Pensacolons. Blah blah
- 1:38:10blah blah blah blah blah. Right, and this guy who wrote this,
- 1:38:17if I could find the author's name or the the news guy's name, there's
- 1:38:26nothing really relevatory in this thing. It just gives the oh, there is,
- 1:38:33actually there is something relative revelatory in this article. I forgot so fast.
- 1:38:43Forward to the article March seventeen sixty four, a mere few months before
- 1:38:47Kennedy's assassination. After Kennedy's assassination, Pensacola would bear witness to a bizarre and
- 1:38:55gruesome scene outside the Decent Building, one of the landmark buildings and down town
- 1:39:00Pensacola and Palafox and Remonasteries. It was there that kill Him was discovered on
- 1:39:04the sidewalk, bleeding profusely, his throat brutally severed. Shattered glass surrounded his
- 1:39:13lifeless body, leaving a haunting tableau that would perplexed investigators for years to come.
- 1:39:20The official verdict suicide. But here's where the plot thickens. Escambria's County's
- 1:39:30Corner doctor A. H. Northrop examined kill Him's body and was dumbfounded.
- 1:39:36His soul injury was a deep three inch laceration to his neck. Doctor Northrop
- 1:39:43couldn't fathom how the police could label this as a quote probable suicide. In
- 1:39:47ten years as a medical examiner, I've never heard of a man trying to
- 1:39:51kill himself in that way, he exclaimed, which is true. It's not
- 1:39:57waited to want to kill yourself. I mean seriously, investigators ventured down a
- 1:40:03particular path, theorizing that kill Him had somehow thrown himself through the storefront window,
- 1:40:12severing his own neck on the jagged glass before crawling onto the sidewalk.
- 1:40:17But was this truly a suicide or something more sinister? Hank Kilim's demise,
- 1:40:28wrapped in mystery, has fuel conspiracy theories for over five decades. His connections
- 1:40:33to Oswald and Ruby cast a long shadow of suspicion over his role in Kennedy's
- 1:40:38assassination. Could kill him have held a key to unraveling one of the greatest
- 1:40:43mysteries in American history. Before Kennedy's tragic end, Hank Kilim led an unassuming
- 1:40:49life as a painter in Dallas. His close friend and co worker, John
- 1:40:56Carter, happened to be a roommate of Oswald, while his wife Won danced
- 1:41:00at Jack Ruby's nightclub. These seemingly innocent associations would forever alter kill Him's destiny.
- 1:41:10He claimed to possess quote special knowledge of the assassination plot and believed he
- 1:41:15was a marked man, hunted by shadowy federal agents and little black people dark
- 1:41:25people. Sorry, I'm a dead man. They're gonna get me, but
- 1:41:30I've run as far as I'm gonna run. Han't kill him too, told
- 1:41:33his brother Earl. After the assassination, he fled Dallas, finding refuge in
- 1:41:41Tampa, but his pursuers were relentless, and desperation, he turned to the
- 1:41:47one place he believed he could escape, to Pensacola. They're gonna get me,
- 1:41:54but I've run as far as I'm gonna run. He can find it
- 1:41:57in his brother. Earl sought sanctuary in his mother's home on West Rodminasty,
- 1:42:05a stone's throw from where they ever Man Grocery now stands. But even there
- 1:42:13his tormentors found him. Agents and plotters haunted his downtown dwelling in the aftermath
- 1:42:18of the president's assassination. He even claimed that men masquerading his clergymen descended upon
- 1:42:25his home, adding to the sinister air of intrigue. Now here's the part
- 1:42:31we haven't talked about it all. The night of his death unfolded like a
- 1:42:39chilling thriller. According to his mother, at four a m. That's four
- 1:42:46am in the morning, Killim received a mysterious phone call, keppelling him to
- 1:42:54get up and leave his mother's house. Moments later, a car door slam
- 1:43:00shut that she could hear outside. Less than half an hour afterward, Hank
- 1:43:08Kilim was discovered unconscious and bleeding to death outside of the Theesin Building, a
- 1:43:14mere three blocks away from his mother's house. To add another layer of mystique,
- 1:43:19his mother, Mary kill Him, professed ignorance about her son owning a
- 1:43:25car, suggesting a sinister plot to mask his murder as an accident. The
- 1:43:31official investigation report, pinned by a rookie cop sn Buck Reeves, merely labeled
- 1:43:38to death as a probable suicide. The Linen Department store's plate glass window was
- 1:43:44shattered and bloodstains lay approximately four feet inside the store, leading Reeves to coence
- 1:43:53to conclude that kill Him had taken a deadly leap. Today, we are
- 1:43:59still left with the enduring question surrounding the man who may have dared to know
- 1:44:02too much, and with it, the story of Hank kill Him, forever
- 1:44:06shrouded in mystery, continues to cast a long and eerie shadow over Pensacola's history.
- 1:44:14And I believe if Joe, if you go to YouTube and you search
- 1:44:17for Hank Killim and Pensacola, you'll come up with a four or five minute
- 1:44:25news broadcast from last year where they talked to the guy that wrote this article,
- 1:44:30and in I forget what restaurant it's called in Pensacola. I guess it's
- 1:44:36like they have a big section all about Hank killim and his story ends painted
- 1:44:42on the wall inside of this restaurant. So very cool for Pensacola history.
- 1:44:51What does it all mean? Again? I feel like we do this at
- 1:44:58the end of every show Joe, where we find out all this crazy information,
- 1:45:02but you don't know what to believe or who to believe, or what's
- 1:45:05going on? Is the guy crazy? Is he seeing shit? Are they
- 1:45:11dosing him? Or you know, did somebody really call the house, get
- 1:45:15him out of bed and he get in a car with somebody and leave.
- 1:45:18You know, that would indicate that he didn't kill himself. And if somebody
- 1:45:24killed him, why would they want to kill him? Did he really know
- 1:45:26more than he said he knew? Was he really involved? And you know
- 1:45:30all this going on and Beckley Street and Ruby and Oswald? I mean who
- 1:45:41knows? Yeah? And I think I mean listen, like, who is
- 1:45:45this John Carter fella? It sounds like, you know, a legit lame
- 1:45:51Cia alias bro you know what I mean? It does it does? You
- 1:45:58know? But we we discovered documents, you know, I think the earliest
- 1:46:02was of December sixty three and through the HCA and and they were really looking
- 1:46:10into it in the ARB. So like it's not out of nowhere, right.
- 1:46:15It might be maybe obscure type of name to a lot of people out
- 1:46:20there, but it's not. It's not like not verified, right, it's
- 1:46:29it's actually a name that has come up through the documents. And I yeah,
- 1:46:33he's one of the first suspicious deaths, you know that, Like you
- 1:46:36know, Pam Jones was always pushing and you know, of course, you
- 1:46:43know when people realize what the story was behind the story a couple of years
- 1:46:46later, that's when it really became interesting, when all these connections came out.
- 1:46:53You know. Of course, during the Garrison investigation, they were they
- 1:46:55were really wondering, you know, is this is this John Carter? Is
- 1:47:00that same John Carter from Dallas? You know? And whatever happened to that
- 1:47:04John Carter from Dallas. I tried to see if the HSCA ever tracked him
- 1:47:10down and talked to him, but I couldn't find anything. I don't think
- 1:47:14they did. But uh, I mean to bring us back to our last
- 1:47:17episode about the Clinton witnesses, right, they tried to discredit them at any
- 1:47:25point they could, right, So in a Oswalt and Ruby connection, we
- 1:47:32know that they weren't definitely in the point of even December, right, even
- 1:47:39a couple of weeks or a month after the assassination and a couple of months
- 1:47:42after leading up to the Warrant Commissions first testimony, they didn't want anything to
- 1:47:46do with any connection between Oswalt and Ruby. So and it was looked into
- 1:47:57pretty significantly with other you know, the HCA and the ARB. Like.
- 1:48:04It's not something that was just you know, like Perry Russel or something,
- 1:48:11right, it was looked into seriously. So I think we have to consider
- 1:48:15it. It might be a rather unfamiliar name to maybe some of our listeners,
- 1:48:24maybe most of our listeners. I don't know, but before this week
- 1:48:29I was an expert on this, and that's why we do this, to
- 1:48:32go through it and to debate it and to hopefully gain some Contexter. Yeah,
- 1:48:40some interesting stories for sure, And for those of you who are interested
- 1:48:44in learning more about that bunch that was living at the Beckley street address.
- 1:48:49I urge you all to go back and listen to the interview I did with
- 1:48:51Ed LaDue called The Beckley Bunch amazing, and we break down everybody that was
- 1:48:59living in that rooming house, like what was it Floyd de Graff and Red
- 1:49:05who was mistaken for Oswald drinking across the street at the gas station, and
- 1:49:12then and there was another person that was named Lee. What was it?
- 1:49:17I wasn't that was the name. I can't remember what that was. I
- 1:49:21know what you're talking about. It makes sense. Yeah, but yeah,
- 1:49:28there was a lot of fukery going on on Beckley and I highly recommend going
- 1:49:32back and finding that episode The Beckley Bunch and listening to it. It was
- 1:49:38awesome and we'll give you a lot more insight. Yeah, yeap, love
- 1:49:45ed to do. We have to get him back on the show and hear
- 1:49:54what he has been up to recently. That would be a cool thing.
- 1:50:00That would be I've ever talked to him. No you haven't, Joe,
- 1:50:06but hopefully you will in the future if you let us. We have what
- 1:50:13There's a lot of things you need to be diverginized on when it comes to
- 1:50:17this show and have your proverbial cherry popped. I think it's popped. I
- 1:50:24think it's popped. Yeah, yeah, no, Yeah. We've talked to
- 1:50:28some great guests already since you've been here, but there's many more out there
- 1:50:31to have ye and hopefully we'll have someone to show coming up very soon.
- 1:50:39Ye for everyone, but a couple, a couple no more, uh information
- 1:50:46on that, but a couple, a couple of you, a couple of
- 1:50:54But anyway, that's it for us this week. Follow us on our social
- 1:50:58media everything at the lone Gum and seven. Yeah, but we mostly just

- 1:51:12need to get on it. Uh, you still have one hundred episodes to
- 1:51:19listen to. Yes, who's those numbers? Tray said, Oh, Lee
