- 0:00Good morning everyone. Welcome back to Unlocking the
- 0:03Paradigm Portal. My name is Sarah.
- 0:05It's a cool thing. Monday my stone was to get up at
- 0:085:00 in the morning to record, which I did yesterday didn't
- 0:12record, but I was up at 5:00 in the morning and today I am back
- 0:16at 5:00 in the morning. Look at me go super proud of
- 0:19that. Tell me, what are the stones
- 0:21that you've been laying? What are the little things that
- 0:23you have been sticking with or even done a couple of times that
- 0:26you feel really good about? Because I feel really freaking
- 0:28proud of myself right now. So Sunday we talked about how I
- 0:34did a whole intensive deep dive into relationships and children
- 0:37and generational patterns to see and understand what is the core
- 0:42wound that drives most of my crap.
- 0:46Because we all have 1 and I share my story so that it
- 0:51hopefully shows you like it Can't.
- 0:53You can look at these things. It's not about me, it's just I
- 0:57look at the patterns and I want to share the info and encourage,
- 1:01if you want to, for you to dive into.
- 1:04And then Monday we talked about recognizing where you learned
- 1:10how love looks and being able to differentiate between the wound
- 1:15telling you what is love and like amplifying that wound as
- 1:19opposed to actual love. And if you listen, last night I
- 1:22talked about the map, the map that you inherit of what
- 1:27everything looks like, how you act, how you choose things,
- 1:31behaving patterns, all of that that comes through the
- 1:33generational lines. So today we're going to talk
- 1:37about that wound and where it came from.
- 1:40And before I say anything else, I need you to understand that
- 1:44the wound didn't start with you. So the one that came up
- 1:47repeatedly in my patterning was the unworthy wound, and that is
- 1:52feeling this driving need unconsciously, mind you, not
- 1:56realizing that's what you're doing until suddenly you see it.
- 2:00But what is driving the behaviors, the choices, the
- 2:03beliefs, the the beliefs about what love is frankly is being
- 2:07driven by this. I need to prove my worth in
- 2:11order to feel worthy of love. And then oftentimes being drawn
- 2:15to people in situations and things that validate the
- 2:19unworthiness because that keeps, it's like feeding the wound.
- 2:23So those wounds, they didn't just start with you.
- 2:27And the patterns that you find yourself in and dynamics that
- 2:31you recreate and the choices that leave you standing in what
- 2:34may feel like the same wreckage like over and over and over
- 2:38again that didn't originate in you.
- 2:41It's been running in the line before you arrived, the line
- 2:44being generations before you. If you've heard generational
- 2:47trauma, generational patterns, this is what we're talking
- 2:50about. So like I said, Monday we talked
- 2:54about the idea of love. Tuesday I talked a little bit
- 2:58about the map. That's a much shorter episode,
- 3:00so it wasn't quite as deep into it.
- 3:03And the map is the one that you were handed before you had any
- 3:06language for it, before you even knew how to decipher it.
- 3:10You were operating from that map just on autopilot.
- 3:14So today I want us to take a look at who drew that map.
- 3:18So look at the line of people that came before you and look at
- 3:22the people and the lives that they lived in the ways that they
- 3:26loved, in the ways that they didn't.
- 3:28And the ones who compressed their brilliance to a size that
- 3:33the people around them could tolerate, or who had more to
- 3:35offer than they ever let the world see.
- 3:37Because somewhere along the way they may have learned that being
- 3:41too much cost you the things that you love.
- 3:44And the one who maybe carried everyone else's emotional
- 3:48weather. Think of it literally like if
- 3:51people, you know, the people that are just chaos that are
- 3:54like the eggshell people that are, you're constantly on egg
- 3:58shells. Not sure you're trying to read
- 4:00them all the time. Think of them like a weather
- 4:02pattern. It's like the cyclone that comes
- 4:05in and you brace yourself for it.
- 4:06That's reading emotional weather and then making adjustments
- 4:10around it. So think about also anyone in
- 4:13the past, in your generations past who made themselves
- 4:17indispensable and they showed up for everyone else and built a
- 4:21life where there was the intersection of their needs and
- 4:26everyone else's and they chose the path of everyone else's
- 4:29needs. But then they call it love, not
- 4:31realizing it's actually self abandoning.
- 4:34Or think of if there is in the line before you, someone who
- 4:38left, or someone who stayed but checked out, or someone who
- 4:44poured themselves into achievement and then not
- 4:48realizing that because they're so focused on achievement, the
- 4:51people closest to them get the leftovers.
- 4:55Does any of that sound familiar? Because that's the map and you
- 4:59didn't draw it, but you've been navigating by it your entire
- 5:03life. And some of that should sound
- 5:06familiar, because you learn to love.
- 5:09Maybe not the exact patterns that I described, but you learn
- 5:13to love the way that they love the people before you.
- 5:16You learn to navigate the way that they navigated.
- 5:19And you learned what worth looks like and what earning your place
- 5:24requires and how much of yourself to show and how much to
- 5:27keep hidden. And you learned all of it from
- 5:30everyone who came before you, because the wounds are
- 5:33generational, the patterns are generational.
- 5:36And at some point, you have to stop asking why you are the way
- 5:40you are and start asking who taught you, where did you learn
- 5:44it, and whether you're going to keep teaching it forward and
- 5:48keep passing it down to the next generation.
- 5:52And that it's not about blame. I want to be very, very precise
- 5:56about that. The people who handed you all of
- 5:59this stuff, they were also carrying it.
- 6:02And they didn't build that wound from scratch either.
- 6:04They inherited it too. And they did what people do with
- 6:08wounds that they haven't seen and they haven't named.
- 6:10Because frankly, until right about now, most people didn't
- 6:15have the awareness or the understanding.
- 6:18And let's be totally honest, most people don't look at any of
- 6:21this stuff. That's why we're the curse
- 6:24Breakers, by the way. We look at all of this stuff,
- 6:26these generational curses, and we go, oh, not today, Satan.
- 6:31So the people that came before you, they did what people with
- 6:34wounds do that they haven't named.
- 6:37They live inside of them. And then they pass them forward
- 6:40unconsciously. But here's where the compassion
- 6:43ends and the accountability begins.
- 6:45You know now, and you can see the shape and you can trace the
- 6:49line and you can name the transmission.
- 6:51And that changes everything because once you can see it, you
- 6:54can't Unsee it. And once you know it, you can't
- 6:58unknown it. And once you can't unknown it,
- 7:00you have a choice. And it's not whether to carry it
- 7:04because you you're already carrying it.
- 7:06It's whether to pass it forward. You have the choice.
- 7:11And breaking a generational pattern, it's not dramatic.
- 7:14It doesn't look like a breakthrough moment or a
- 7:15lightning bolt or a sudden transformation.
- 7:19It looks like the moment that you would normally do the thing
- 7:22the wound taught you to do. And you pause and you ask, is
- 7:26this mine or is this theirs? And then you ask, is this true
- 7:30or is this inherited? And it looks like naming A
- 7:35boundary that you want to hold and continuing to hold it
- 7:40without apology when every instinct says to soften it.
- 7:44And it looks like saying no to carrying that other person's
- 7:48emotional weather. When the old reflex says, if you
- 7:51don't hold it, no one will. It is your job.
- 7:54It is your obligation. F that it's not.
- 7:58It looks like letting yourself be seen in all of your glory
- 8:03with what you're carrying, who you are, what you have to offer,
- 8:08instead of shrinking it down to the size that that wounding is
- 8:11saying is acceptable. It's small axe repeated and
- 8:16building a new baseline. This is the small, the one
- 8:20stone, the small axe, the small stones that you lay all the
- 8:23time. You didn't choose the
- 8:26inheritance that you got, but you are standing here right now
- 8:31with enough consciousness to see it clearly, and that makes you
- 8:34the one who gets to decide where it ends.
- 8:37You would not be here at 6:00 in the morning listening to this if
- 8:40you were not aware. So your stone.
- 8:44Your stone for today, identify one pattern that you are still
- 8:47carrying that was handed to you. Not yours originally, but one
- 8:51that passed through the line. Just name it out loud.
- 8:54Think of something to make it very simple.
- 8:57Think of something that you might roll your eyes at yourself
- 9:00about and be like, Oh my God, I'm so like my mother, my
- 9:02father, my grandmother, my grandfather, whatever, Someone
- 9:05who came before you. And rather than roll your eyes
- 9:08at it, just notice it. Name it out loud.
- 9:12That's your stone. Because that shows you it's not
- 9:15something that is yours. It's something you picked up.
- 9:18And chances are whomever you picked it up from, they picked
- 9:21it up from somebody. So have an incredible Wednesday,
- 9:26I know that is my plan and keep kicking ass and taking names and
- 9:32I'll be back Friday. I'm not 100% sure what the theme
- 9:36will be but it's going to be going along with this Tuesday,
- 9:39Thursday, Saturday night 9:00 PM light in the dark.
- 9:42Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:00 AM.
- 9:44Be real not nice Sunday deep dives.
- 9:46If you are on YouTube, I would love it if you would subscribe,
- 9:50and if you were on Spotify, I would love it if you would
- 9:52follow. And all right, let's keep going.
- 9:56Have a wonderful day.
