Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: On today's show, we'll tell you why the Eagles should
- 0:03Speaker 1: have lost by more to the forty nine ers.

- 0:40Speaker 2: There yo, yeah, move over Mariah Carey and wham You're done. Yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 1: The song is called Jalen Bells. It's absolutely perfect. It's
- 0:49Speaker 1: an updated version of jingle Bells because you know, let's
- 0:53Speaker 1: face it, jingle Bells is just super old and boring.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it sucks. Our version's way better.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Anyway, you can go watch the music video now for
- 1:02Speaker 1: Jalen Bells. It's on YouTube and the song will soon
- 1:05Speaker 1: be on the Spotify and of course at the top
- 1:08Speaker 1: of the billboard.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Shots Faery, we're going to number one. All the other
- 1:12Speaker 2: songs a number two if you catch my drift. Yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Anyway to today's show.
- 1:18Speaker 1: A lot to get though, you know, we're gonna explain
- 1:20Speaker 1: what really happened in that forty nine is so called
- 1:23Speaker 1: win over the Eagles. But also our guest today, we
- 1:26Speaker 1: got a former offensive lineman. Is there any reason that
- 1:31Speaker 1: we keep having offensive linemen on the show, confusing?
- 1:34Speaker 2: It's because our booker sucks at his job. Yeah, just
- 1:38Speaker 2: like our guest.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You know, he's a guy with the single worst podcast
- 1:42Speaker 1: title in the three podcasts.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It's called the Jeff Schwartz is Smarter than you. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 2: and spoiler alert, he's not. Yeah exactly. Anyway, Jeff Schwartz
- 1:54Speaker 2: is coming on the show.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And you know, Tony, his brother, Mitchell Schwartz used to
- 1:57Speaker 1: block for My homes And so we're gonna how glad
- 2:01Speaker 1: his brother must be to see Maholmes totally sucking now.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, he's running around the field like a turkey with
- 2:08Speaker 2: his dick cut off. Yeah, well said anyway.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah, before we get to that, it's time for an
- 2:12Speaker 1: ad from our good friends at KB Toys. Have you
- 2:17Speaker 1: done your holiday shopping yet? Well, if not, you better
- 2:20Speaker 1: get moving your lazy fuck.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah. The other day, my aunt Marie's boyfriend Nunzio told
- 2:26Speaker 2: me he was gonna buy her some toys for Christmas,
- 2:29Speaker 2: and I said, wow, she's going to be so excited
- 2:33Speaker 2: to see all those toys under her tree. And then
- 2:35Speaker 2: he said, she'll be even more excited when the toys
- 2:39Speaker 2: are under her skirt. And then I said, you know what,
- 2:42Speaker 2: let's just keep going here about that one later anyway.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Yeah, go to kbtoys dot com enter the promo code
- 2:48Speaker 1: fusco to get point oh one percent off your first
- 2:52Speaker 1: order of eight hundred dollars or more. You get free
- 2:54Speaker 1: shipping on all orders delivered just in time for Christmas
- 2:57Speaker 1: twenty twenty four.
- 2:59Speaker 2: All right, it's a great people. Another check in the mail.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Let's get into some bigger deals in our top story story.
- 3:09Speaker 1: All right, the top story. You know, all these people
- 3:11Speaker 1: out there, morods, you know, as predicted, they're going on
- 3:15Speaker 1: and on and about how the forty nine ers beat
- 3:17Speaker 1: the Eagles forty two to nineteen, and they, you know,
- 3:20Speaker 1: some sort of big deal of something, because as I said,
- 3:23Speaker 1: they're idiots. But that reaction just shows how little these
- 3:26Speaker 1: morods actually know about football, isn't that right, Dony?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's called strategy. The Eagles clearly lost to the
- 3:35Speaker 2: forty nine is because they wanted to give them a
- 3:38Speaker 2: fourth sense of confidence. That way, when the forty nine
- 3:41Speaker 2: Ers face the Eagles again in the playoffs, they'll think
- 3:44Speaker 2: they won't have to prepare. You know, personally, I don't
- 3:48Speaker 2: think the Eagles lost by enough points twenty three, that's nothing.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I'd feel much more comfortable if they would have lost
- 3:55Speaker 2: by about fifty five or even sixty, you know, just
- 3:59Speaker 2: to throw the Niners off their game.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Terrific analysis, Tony. And you know the other story for
- 4:06Speaker 1: this game, much bigger story. Eagles security guard and Philadelphia
- 4:11Speaker 1: legend Big Dom Desandro carelessly thrown out of the game
- 4:16Speaker 1: for you know, a tiny little scuffle of whatnot with
- 4:19Speaker 1: the forty nine Ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Now, Tony, you
- 4:23Speaker 1: know this is clearly why when you break it down,
- 4:25Speaker 1: why Jalen Hurts did not look his best. I mean,
- 4:28Speaker 1: we've established he was clearly trying to lose the game
- 4:31Speaker 1: on purpose.
- 4:31Speaker 2: We all know that. But you know this had to
- 4:33Speaker 2: play a factor totally. You know, the quarterback is basically
- 4:37Speaker 2: the president of the team, and the security guard is
- 4:41Speaker 2: basically his secret service. Well, would you take the secret
- 4:44Speaker 2: service away from the president? Not unless you wanted the
- 4:48Speaker 2: country to go down in flames and China to take Ova.
- 4:51Speaker 2: But That's exactly what the NFL did when they removed
- 4:55Speaker 2: that security guard. They not only put Jalen Hurts in peril,
- 4:59Speaker 2: they in danger democracy as we know it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Just terrific perspective that Dony and now do another frustrating story.
- 5:07Speaker 1: After the Cowboys beat the Seahawks on Thursday night, Cowboys fans,
- 5:11Speaker 1: they've been saying that Dallas finally beat a team with
- 5:14Speaker 1: a winning record.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Oh but Tony, that is just totally false, isn't it.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Absolutely They only believe that because Cowboys fans are always
- 5:24Speaker 2: stuck living in the past. Sure, the Seahawks was six
- 5:28Speaker 2: and five when they entered the game, but you have
- 5:30Speaker 2: to live in the present, and right now, the Seahawks
- 5:34Speaker 2: are six and six of five hundred, mediocre, pitiful, and
- 5:39Speaker 2: frankly easily beatable team. I mean, what are Cowboys fans
- 5:44Speaker 2: gonna say next that when they beat the Jets the
- 5:46Speaker 2: Jets were a winning team because they won a Super
- 5:49Speaker 2: Bowl back in nineteen sixty nine. You gotta be realistic here.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Great points all around, Dony And speaking of the Jets,
- 5:57Speaker 1: Zach Wilson was asked to resume being the team's daughter,
- 6:00Speaker 1: and reportedly he initially refused out of fear that he
- 6:04Speaker 1: would be injured. Now, many people are calling Zach Wilson
- 6:08Speaker 1: a totality, and they're right, but there's a serious issue
- 6:13Speaker 1: at play here, isn't that, Tony.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Unfortunately. Yes, you know, we know people can suffer from
- 6:19Speaker 2: post traumatic stress disorder, but Zack Wilson is clearly suffering
- 6:23Speaker 2: from post traumatic jets disorder. This is a serious mental
- 6:27Speaker 2: health issue. We see with quarterbacks who had the misfortune
- 6:31Speaker 2: of getting signed by the Jets. Once they've played for
- 6:34Speaker 2: the Jets, they're never the same again. Sam donaldyp Joe Flacco,
- 6:40Speaker 2: Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow. Uh well, Tim Tebow sucked before that,
- 6:46Speaker 2: but you'll get my point.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Great historical perspective that, Tony and turning the college football
- 6:53Speaker 1: outrage after undefeated Florida State was left out of the
- 6:58Speaker 1: college football playoff in favor of one loss in the
- 7:01Speaker 1: perennial axles Alabama. Now, many are saying that FSU got
- 7:06Speaker 1: left out because they were down to their third string quarterback.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But Dony, those people they just don't get it, do they.
- 7:13Speaker 2: No, We've seen time and time before when a team's
- 7:18Speaker 2: QB gets injured, the team gets better. Yep. Nick Foles yep,
- 7:23Speaker 2: Cardale Jones with Ohio State, yep. Others I can't think
- 7:28Speaker 2: of right now, but clearly what happens is that when
- 7:31Speaker 2: the QB gets injured, everyone on the team knows they
- 7:35Speaker 2: have to play harder. Frankly, I think it would be
- 7:38Speaker 2: a smart strategy for teams to deliberately injure their qbs
- 7:43Speaker 2: just so the team has a better chance of winning.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Such terrific analysis, Tony, I mean, you know, if I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: Michigan right now, I would seriously consider injuring JJ McCarthy.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I mean, they barely passing the ball as is Mike
- 7:56Speaker 1: as will, you know, just get the momentum going by
- 7:59Speaker 1: giving him the old Galulei or something totally great point there.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Anyway, this was almost a top story.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Of course, we're talking about the NBA in season tournament,
- 8:09Speaker 1: which is so good, actually making the regular season look
- 8:12Speaker 1: somewhat interesting. Yeah, of course not that interesting, but you know,
- 8:15Speaker 1: you know, anyway, Tony, this could have a huge ripple
- 8:18Speaker 1: effect on the other sports, couldn't it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Absolutely. If I'm Roger Goodell, I'm thinking long and hard
- 8:25Speaker 2: about following the NBA's lead and having an NFL in
- 8:29Speaker 2: season tournament at the end of the season, everyone is injured.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's why the Super Bowl is usually unfair and misleading,
- 8:37Speaker 2: like last year. In fact, when you think about it,
- 8:40Speaker 2: it makes more sense to put the playoffs at the
- 8:43Speaker 2: start of this season when everybody's healthy. That way, you
- 8:47Speaker 2: know who the best whole team really is.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So true, Tony, and finally, we have to take this
- 8:54Speaker 1: moment to briefly discuss the demise of the Pac twelve conference.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know, Donny, a lot of people out there, they
- 9:02Speaker 1: seem sad or even shocked to see the fact twelve gone.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But we're not, Dolly No. I mean, if you want
- 9:10Speaker 2: people to watch a sport, the one thing you need
- 9:13Speaker 2: before anything is those people to be awake. Most Pac
- 9:17Speaker 2: twelve games kicked off at twelve thirty am East in time.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Who was the target audience? Meth heads, vampires, Hawaiians. You know,
- 9:28Speaker 2: several studies have shown that if a football game is
- 9:31Speaker 2: on during the hours in which people are awake, that
- 9:34Speaker 2: game has a much better chance of getting watched.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So there you go, such terrific analysis all around that
- 9:42Speaker 1: dony And will bring up some of this stuff with
- 9:46Speaker 1: guests here, So let's go ahead and bring him on
- 9:47Speaker 1: the FUSCO satellite network Fusco satellite in the world. All right,
- 9:53Speaker 1: this guy returning to the show for some reason we
- 9:57Speaker 1: can't explain, anyway, you spent eight seasons in the league
- 10:00Speaker 1: playing offensive linemen for the Panthers Vikings Chiefs when they
- 10:04Speaker 1: weren't that good anyway. Seventh round pick at Oregon was
- 10:08Speaker 1: recently ranked by Big Game Boomer as one of the
- 10:11Speaker 1: top one hundred college football media personalities. But they put
- 10:15Speaker 1: them at number thirty though, so you know, kind of yep,
- 10:18Speaker 1: still mediocre yep. Anyway, as we already told you, here's
- 10:21Speaker 1: the single worst podcast title in the whole world. It's
- 10:25Speaker 1: called Jeff Schwartz is smarter than you. So that leads
- 10:29Speaker 1: to our first question, Jeff, who listens to your show?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Seventh graders and eighth graders, ninth graders. I gotta say, guys,
- 10:36Speaker 3: I didn't see you on any Big Game Bloomer list,
- 10:39Speaker 3: so I must be better than you guys, and I
- 10:40Speaker 3: can make a list one.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Well, we told them ahead of time, keep us off
- 10:43Speaker 2: your list.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Oh okay, I'm sorry.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, we had to excuse ourselves due to
- 10:48Speaker 1: being number one for eight straight Yes, yeah, exactly.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Of course, Yes, everyone listened to my podcast be my
- 10:53Speaker 3: guest any age, preferably, As you mentioned, seventh graders are best.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yes, it's actually below that reading apprehension.
- 11:00Speaker 3: So wow, wow, I'm glad. I've got to have two
- 11:03Speaker 3: listeners and you guys I need I need those numbers.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, they you listen to ship just doubled. There you go.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Anyway, all right, first up, let's get into this. You
- 11:11Speaker 1: know a lot of people that make it a big
- 11:12Speaker 1: deal over the Eagles losing to the forty nine is
- 11:15Speaker 1: by twenty three points, but that's because they don't understand strategy. Jeff,
- 11:20Speaker 1: you know what you want to do is you know,
- 11:22Speaker 1: you want to give the other team a false sense
- 11:24Speaker 1: of confidence exact when you'll face them again in the playoffs.
- 11:28Speaker 1: They think they don't need to prepare. Don't you agree
- 11:31Speaker 1: that it was smart of the Eagles to completely tank
- 11:34Speaker 1: that game on purpose?
- 11:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's when way you want to spin it. Look,
- 11:40Speaker 3: I will I'll give you I will say this.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Then it was what it was.
- 11:46Speaker 3: It was a tough it's been a tough stretch WITHDB
- 11:49Speaker 3: stretch that with Eagles. I understand sort of the mental
- 11:52Speaker 3: physical part of the second half of that game just
- 11:54Speaker 3: aver playing the Chiefs and the Biddles over time, and
- 11:56Speaker 3: I was just then, just wait for the stand for
- 11:58Speaker 3: you now right, they want to win this game. Improve
- 12:01Speaker 3: that last year with some sort of fluquhich I don't
- 12:03Speaker 3: think it was. And so Nights are ready for this game,
- 12:06Speaker 3: and you feel the emotional part of it. The physical
- 12:08Speaker 3: part of it was tough to overcome and look in
- 12:11Speaker 3: a rematch. In a rematch, the loser, in my opinion,
- 12:14Speaker 3: has the advantage because they can make the the changes physically.
- 12:18Speaker 3: They can make the changes, uh you know schematically. That
- 12:22Speaker 3: doesn't mean they tanked this game. They wanted to win
- 12:24Speaker 3: this game. But if they win this game, they would
- 12:26Speaker 3: have won, they would have almost guarantee themselves the one seed.
- 12:28Speaker 3: They would have been three games up.
- 12:29Speaker 1: About well, you just you just completely reversed on yourself
- 12:32Speaker 1: the yeah you have schizophrenia something arguing.
- 12:35Speaker 3: With arguments I said, in a rematch, it favors the loser.
- 12:41Speaker 3: That doesn't mean that you should lose games the favorite rematch,
- 12:44Speaker 3: you might not play this team again. Are you are you?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Are you guaranteed a spot in the answer Genship game.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yes you know that already, Oh you are? Yes, Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 3: you have the script from the the the the NFL script.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Shut up in your office already.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You need a script because you're getting with your ideas there,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you know, yeah, exactly, you argue it again, it's just
- 13:03Speaker 1: all old.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Just make sure you guys win this weekend. Though, if
- 13:06Speaker 3: you lose this weekend, it might all come from with that.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Don't worry about that. Don't worry about that. Yeah, the
- 13:11Speaker 2: way he is the strict for you.
- 13:12Speaker 1: If you saw the news, did you see Mike McCarthy
- 13:15Speaker 1: just came down with appendicitis. Don't you think this is
- 13:18Speaker 1: more Paul clock management from the coffee, you know, like
- 13:22Speaker 1: you got to get that appendix out before.
- 13:25Speaker 2: We should have taken out the appendicitis back in August.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Well, is this the same theory though, that he's he's
- 13:30Speaker 3: purposely taking this game to play you guys again in
- 13:33Speaker 3: the playoffs. He's his body's just doing it for him.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, he's scared.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah, here, his appendice, his appendix is scared of showing up.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yes, that's why it burst. It exploded. He looked at
- 13:45Speaker 2: the schedule and was like, oh, we got the Eagles
- 13:47Speaker 2: this week. Oh yeah, and he went to the hospital.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Is is that the noise he made when when exploded, Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 2: He said, wait is Aaron Rodgers my quarterback? Oh no,
- 13:56Speaker 2: it's Dak and then hospital. Yeah, yep. They don't do
- 14:01Speaker 2: that to anybody.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Cowboys are playing well though, Yo, you'll better watch out man, you.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Better play well. The refs had to help them beat
- 14:08Speaker 2: the Seahawks. They haven't beaten a five hundred team yet.
- 14:11Speaker 3: That is very fair. This is the thing with the Cowboys, right,
- 14:13Speaker 3: is that is they they have to prove it against
- 14:17Speaker 3: a team with a winning record, right, got blasted by
- 14:19Speaker 3: the Niners, lost the Eagles. If the Cowboys can't win
- 14:22Speaker 3: this one, then there's no belief in my opinion on
- 14:25Speaker 3: them at all in the postseason. This isn't a perfect
- 14:27Speaker 3: Eagles again and played three really tough games. Cowboys have it.
- 14:30Speaker 3: They're on the rest. I will tell you, guys, they
- 14:33Speaker 3: kind of screwed the Eagles. They give the Eagles an poe.
- 14:38Speaker 3: They give the Niners ten days to prepare for you guys,
- 14:40Speaker 3: and the cowboy ten days to prepare for the Eagles.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I'm with you, guys there, I'm with you.
- 14:45Speaker 1: See that, Pauli, it rakes up conspiracy, you know exactly.
- 14:49Speaker 2: You're wroto something here.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Because you know Roger Goodell, he wants to ban the Bushbush.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Don't you think this is proof that the NFL is
- 14:57Speaker 1: clearly biased against the Eagles.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm with you on this, sm I think it's conspiracy,
- 15:01Speaker 3: you go, But I don't think they should ban it.
- 15:03Speaker 3: It's a skill play for the Eagles. The Eagles have
- 15:06Speaker 3: mastered this skill of running this play, and they shouldn't
- 15:10Speaker 3: ban it because no one else can do it correctly
- 15:12Speaker 3: or no one else can stop it. Eagles have figured
- 15:14Speaker 3: out a way to sort of gain the system if
- 15:16Speaker 3: if another team ran a play that was so good
- 15:20Speaker 3: it couldn't be stopped, but they ban it.
- 15:21Speaker 2: No, This is what leads me back to you.
- 15:24Speaker 1: If Jeff Schwartz is so smart a pair of code
- 15:27Speaker 1: in you, why didn't you come up with the Toushbush.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'm not smart enough for that, man. I'll tell you
- 15:34Speaker 3: that it's a Syrianni special man. It's a great idea.
- 15:38Speaker 3: It's worked really well. You know what. The guy who
- 15:41Speaker 3: does it, who makes it work as Jason Kelce like
- 15:43Speaker 3: he he is abiliate to to get low and and
- 15:46Speaker 3: kind of drive on his on his his all fours
- 15:49Speaker 3: and move forward and allow hurts I'll give you. I'll
- 15:52Speaker 3: give you. The one thing I think also makes it
- 15:53Speaker 3: work really well too, is Jalen Hurts. If you watch him,
- 15:57Speaker 3: doesn't go right away? Sure, six hundred pounds. Yeah, first
- 16:02Speaker 3: time everyone's ever told you that before. I bet so,
- 16:03Speaker 3: I'm smarter than you guys. He takes a snap and
- 16:07Speaker 3: he sort of waits a split second and then he goes.
- 16:09Speaker 3: So he sort of winches offensive lineman to move forward
- 16:11Speaker 3: a little bit, and he sort of rides on their
- 16:13Speaker 3: back as he gets pushed. A lot of quarterbacks take
- 16:15Speaker 3: that snap and just go right now, and when they
- 16:18Speaker 3: do that, they kind of lose their momentum they hit
- 16:20Speaker 3: the offensive lineman. So Hirson's a good job at any
- 16:22Speaker 3: swat six hundred pounds. So it's it's you.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You are an expert in this because you have played
- 16:27Speaker 1: with your fair share of a nept quarterbacks who don't
- 16:30Speaker 1: know how to play football.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Jimmy Clawson. Yeah, Christian Ponda.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I have not played my entire career with the best
- 16:41Speaker 3: with the best of quarterbacks, but we made a playoffs
- 16:45Speaker 3: with Christian Ponder, So, uh, you know, that was a
- 16:47Speaker 3: good year there. Jimmy classing year was bad. I'll tell
- 16:49Speaker 3: you that it wasn't good.
- 16:50Speaker 2: You know, did you ever a Ponda when you were
- 16:52Speaker 2: playing with him?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Like?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Why should I bother blocking for this guy? He sucks
- 16:56Speaker 2: so bad?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Hey, man, I my job is to block. It about
- 17:01Speaker 3: who the quarterback is. If you guys want to play
- 17:03Speaker 3: quarterback behind me, that block for you guys to do,
- 17:05Speaker 3: I would hate it.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Okay, okay, was there ever a quarterback you know who
- 17:09Speaker 1: you just you know, let a had an ola, let
- 17:11Speaker 1: him get hit? And again, was that guy Jimmy Clawson?
- 17:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it was not Jimmy Clauston. It's my I can't
- 17:17Speaker 3: get people. I get fired if people get hit. I
- 17:19Speaker 3: want to keep my job. I want to make my money. Man,
- 17:21Speaker 3: I want to keep my job. I'm not letting anyone
- 17:23Speaker 3: go buy me like that. Not on purpose though, not
- 17:27Speaker 3: on purpose though.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Okay, well, you know that was a strategic miss by you,
- 17:31Speaker 1: because you know, if you're replaced about every quarterback you
- 17:34Speaker 1: played for, they'd probably play better.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Ready.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, let's move to your brother talking about struggling quarterbacks.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Your brother, Mitchell Schwartz, right, he used to block for Mahomes.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Now now you see Mahomes just playing like absolute trash
- 17:47Speaker 1: guard dog shock, whoa whoa.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Hold on, let me just get to my question.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Okay, has your brother called you and said anything like, hey,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you know, look at that fuck loser, can't win without me, talentless,
- 18:00Speaker 1: totally sucks now you know anything like that.
- 18:03Speaker 3: He has not called me to use those terms about
- 18:05Speaker 3: the Chiefs.
- 18:06Speaker 2: No.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I think you're the first person ever, ever, ever say
- 18:10Speaker 3: this is about Patrick Mahomes. Congratulations there. Yeah, it's not
- 18:15Speaker 3: the best right now, but I didn't know figure it out.
- 18:17Speaker 3: You know, they'll beat Eagles again in the Super Bowl
- 18:20Speaker 3: in a rematch. I'll tell you that.
- 18:21Speaker 2: What do you mean again? You mean again?
- 18:23Speaker 1: The Eagles offense outscored the Chase offense.
- 18:27Speaker 2: One that in that terms, Mahomes did not win the
- 18:30Speaker 2: Super Bowl.
- 18:31Speaker 3: No, wasn't scoreboard, wasn't scoreboards.
- 18:34Speaker 2: No, Mahomes got out scored by Jalen Hurts.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Okay, so the final score was what thirty five thirty
- 18:40Speaker 3: one to thirty eight.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Now you get is where you're using those smarts will
- 18:45Speaker 1: help and make Jeff Schwartz smarter.
- 18:47Speaker 3: There you go, So, so thirty it was thirty five
- 18:50Speaker 3: thirty one. You add the seven other points on the
- 18:53Speaker 3: fumble now you know, oh, those sports don't.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Count offense to offense, apples to apples.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I've seen first grade is with a better grasp on
- 19:01Speaker 1: math than you.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Unbelievable. Let's come on here.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And he sues insult this entire time, trying to be
- 19:07Speaker 3: nice to you guys. And this is what I get.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You started with the whole Jeff Shorts smarter than you.
- 19:12Speaker 3: I am smarter than you, guys. I know that's very quick.
- 19:14Speaker 2: See, oh, I see you want to test skates. All right,
- 19:17Speaker 2: let's talk science, Jets science here. Zack Wilson.
- 19:20Speaker 1: He reportedly didn't want to resume starting for the Jets
- 19:23Speaker 1: out of fear of being injured. Okay, now we know
- 19:26Speaker 1: people can suffer from post chramatic stress disorder, but do
- 19:30Speaker 1: you think Zach Wilson is suffering from post chromatic jets disorder?
- 19:35Speaker 3: Yes, this is actually the best explation I've heard about
- 19:37Speaker 3: what's happening there right now. The Jets this, they had
- 19:40Speaker 3: Zach Wilson as their starter. He wasn't playing well. They
- 19:43Speaker 3: bench him. It didn't didn't make him second and third string,
- 19:46Speaker 3: so they said, you know what, Jack Glad, you can't
- 19:48Speaker 3: even play. And the guy they put in there for
- 19:50Speaker 3: two weeks. They just straight out cut that kid, got
- 19:53Speaker 3: rid of him and put Zach complete dysfunction, un serious franchise.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they gave him pt AD and then now they
- 20:01Speaker 2: want to put them back in.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I mean it's almost as ridiculous as having Jimmy Clawson
- 20:05Speaker 1: as your starting quarterback.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what, that's a good comparison. I'll give
- 20:12Speaker 3: you that one. Yes, I'm coming around with you a
- 20:13Speaker 3: little bit.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Maybe, Hey there you go, all right, hold on.
- 20:17Speaker 1: You know that that site whatever it was, rank your
- 20:19Speaker 1: number thirty th or with in college.
- 20:22Speaker 2: So let's just talk college football. Maybe you'll be a
- 20:24Speaker 2: little better at that. Okay.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You know there's outrage after Florida State didn't make it
- 20:29Speaker 1: into their you know, playoff there because the QB is injured.
- 20:32Speaker 1: But don't these idiots out there know that when your
- 20:35Speaker 1: QB gets injured, your team actually plays better because everyone
- 20:39Speaker 1: knows they have to step up. You know, you saw
- 20:41Speaker 1: this with the Foles, you know, Cardele Jones, you know
- 20:45Speaker 1: other other guys.
- 20:47Speaker 3: To Yeah, only two examples.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Couldn't we argue that teams should actually deliberately injure their quarterbacks,
- 20:53Speaker 1: you know, and that would help inspire the team.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so you think that that Eagles should insuly to
- 21:00Speaker 3: was injured your quarterback to inspire the teams that we're
- 21:02Speaker 3: going with here.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, maybe if you weren't trying so hard
- 21:05Speaker 1: to block, you'd have a Super Bowl ring right now.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 21:09Speaker 3: This is why I'm smart than you.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Guys.
- 21:10Speaker 3: You come up with these terrible things about football, these
- 21:13Speaker 3: terrible ideas, and try to pass them off as real,
- 21:16Speaker 3: actual things that really Yeah, yeah, I don't appreciate this. Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 3: no one should guess.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Rile idea idea.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you're a great idea, And that's kicking your ass off,
- 21:29Speaker 4: Jeff of this shot?
- 21:39Speaker 3: You see? Sound?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Is he off the line? Jay, hang up the fo.
- 21:46Speaker 1: If there's one thing he's going to have to go
- 21:48Speaker 1: change is that podcast title?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah? It should be You're smarter than Jeff Schwartz. Yeah exactly.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Anyway, let's not let him ruin what was otherwise a
- 21:58Speaker 1: terrific show of actually are good friends at KB Toys?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Oh you kidding me?
- 22:06Speaker 1: If it's anybody who was definitely not smarter than anybody
- 22:09Speaker 1: but those a Jay, why.
- 22:11Speaker 5: What do you want corrections?
- 22:13Speaker 2: What? Why? How are you up?
- 22:15Speaker 5: You said that Jalen Hurts was in danger after the
- 22:18Speaker 5: NFL removed security guard Dom Dessandra.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Bro, scary, frightening.
- 22:23Speaker 5: Bro, you do realize there were other security guards on
- 22:26Speaker 5: the field. He wasn't in danger.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well you know what you're gonna be in
- 22:33Speaker 1: by incinerator.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah you know what. Dom never should have been removed.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Your dad's con Dom. Oh you are dog, he's finished.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Let's get out of him.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Why you said most PAC twelve football games started at
- 22:50Speaker 5: twelve thirty AM Eastern time.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, super late, way too late.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Bro.
- 22:56Speaker 5: That's a bit of an exaggeration. The latest those games
- 23:00Speaker 5: started was ten to thirty PM.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, uh, you know what's also going to
- 23:05Speaker 1: be a PAC twelve The pack of Wolves.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I send to eat you. Yeah. And you know what's
- 23:10Speaker 2: also getting a very late start, your pubody. Oh thank you.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Let's get out of here.
- 23:19Speaker 5: You said the NFL playoffs should take place at the
- 23:22Speaker 5: start of the season.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, everyone's healthy, level playing field, Bro, But.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Then there would be no point in playing the rest
- 23:31Speaker 5: of the season. That's a terrible idea.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, you know what has a point. The
- 23:38Speaker 1: knife I'm going to jam into your back?
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what else was a terrible idea
- 23:44Speaker 2: when your dad didn't pull out. Oomm you're done. Let's
- 23:48Speaker 2: get out of a pull for next week. Just booked
