  Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always we ask

  Speaker 1: that you join along with us. And this morning, you know,

  Speaker 1: I was just reflecting back on the fourth of Jude,
• 0:11
  Speaker 1: Lie and how y'all, I had all my children and
• 0:15
  Speaker 1: all my grands there at my house and I was
• 0:18
  Speaker 1: so happy put a little pool together in the backyard.
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: But then my mom came over, my sister, my niece,
• 0:23
  Speaker 1: and just had an amazing time y'all, watching the kids
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: play in the pool and watching it pop, the fireworks
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: and all of that. And there was a point where
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: everybody was expressing how much they enjoyed it and how much,
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: you know, we gotta do this again, can't wait till
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: the next holiday. And I said, why does it have
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: to be a holiday for family to get together. It
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: doesn't have to be. It could be just because just
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: because I miss y'all and I want to hang out.
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: And that's what we need to start doing, y'all, creating
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: more memories and moments with our family, with our children
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: where we just get together because and it shouldn't because
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: somebody is sick. It shouldn't be because somebody has passed away,
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: but just because you love family. Every year my family
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: has a family reunion, y'all. I cannot wait for my
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: family reunion to see my extended family. I miss them.

  Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, that one year takes a long time
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: to come around for me, because I truly love my
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: family and I love spending time with my family. And
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: oftentimes I think the reason we don't get together is
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: because somebody is waiting on somebody else to make the plans,
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: or we're all waiting on somebody else to make the invite. Well,
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: will you be the one y'all can go out to dinner?
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: You know we have all the excuses. My house ainth this,
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: I ain't ready. Listen. Create memories that will last a
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: lifetime for your children, your children's children. Create a love
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: for God and for family. Father, God, in the name
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: of Jesus, I come before you, Father, thanking you for
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: the precious gift of family. For those that still have
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: their parents, God, we thank you. For those that have
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: to create memories about their parents, God, we lift them
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: up to You. That's a hard and a tough physician
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: and place to be in when you've lost someone you love.
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: That's a void that will never be filled by anyone else. Father,
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: we pray Lord God for sisters and brothers and nieces
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: and nephews and cousins and friends that are like family.

  Speaker 1: Those relationships are so precious and God, it seems like
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: with the pandemic we lost part of that. We got
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: used to being away from each other, We got used
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: to being separated. So God, I pray right now that
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: you would just bring back the unity and the closeness
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: in family. We need one another. You created us relationally. God,
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: bring that back where we will spend time together and
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: enjoy fellowship amongst one another as family. God, I pray
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: for those that have division in their families right now,
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: that you bring peace, forgiveness and love to those families.
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: Let somebody, God, choose today to be the bigger person.
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: Let somebody choose today, So pick up the phone and
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: just call and say I love you and I miss you. God,
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: I pray for family restoration right now in the name
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: of Jesus Amen.
