  I give motivational speeches all over America Tuesday night.

  Last night I gave a motivational speech to Macto.

  MACTO, basically Missouri Department of Transportation.

  Great people. I had the time of my life.

  We got them jacked up on Sun Drop, threw out a bunch of jigs,

  hats and give a great speech. They said Herman, will you go to

  dinner with me? I said I'd love to guys.

  So we went and had a really nice meal and sat at a table with

  three other gentlemen. Now they're going to watch this

  and they know who they are. Big race fans, but very
• 0:43
  important people with high positions.

  Little did I know I was set up a little bit in a good way, in a

  fun way. I sat right there with some big

  race fans. But these men were my age.

  They were in their 60s. And of course it started.

  They said, Herman, I love racing.

  I've been to Charlotte, I've been to Bristol, I've been to

  Kansas City. You know, I watched the Bush
• 1:13
  Series, I watched the Truck Series.

  What do you think's going on with NASCAR?

  Oh yes, I swear to God, my hand on the Bible, I said the very

  first thing we have to get over, we have to stop.

  I said there is, AI said, you know, you know, like a snowball

  effect when something's very small and then it starts the the

  snowball just starts getting bigger.

  It starts picking up steam. You know, I'm going to try

  another one. You know, sometimes people want

  to be part of the team, right? Hey, I want to be part of the

  team because it's cool. You don't want to be part of the

  gang. You know, gangs, sometimes

  they're OK, sometimes they're not.

  But being part of a gang makes you feel complete, makes you

  feel good about yourself. I'm part of a team.

  I'm part of a gang. I'm part of a union.

  The union looks out after me. OK, now that I've made my point,

  I told this gentleman, I said the first thing we got to get

  over somehow we got to slow the road.

  I said people find joy right now and just talking bad about

  NASCAR. It's like it's the in thing.

  Do they just love it? And the other thing is they

  cannot stop talking about the points.

  I said none of this makes any sense.

  I said it's like a a bunch of people that know we still got 4

  races left in the year. We have 4 races left in the

  year. NASCAR's come out and said looks

  like we're going to change the point system for next year, but

  right now people can't enjoy the racing.

  It's like, Oh my God, here I'm going to give you an example.

  Oh, my God, look at that. Denny Hamlin is on the inside of

  Bubba Wallace. Oh, he gets loose.

  He gets loose and he gets up in the Bubba Wallace.

  Oh, but I don't like the points. You see what I'm saying?

  It's the craziest, craziest stuff going on right now.

  It is this phenomenon that has picked up steam.

  All the while NASCAR's told you they hear you.

  We're going to change the point system next year and we're going

  to go to a different track. We're going to Miami Homestead.

  Now, the reason I brought this up is I see a lot of people this

  morning saying, listen, we had enough of talking about the new

  point system next year. I'm exhausted.

  I can't enjoy watching the race. I can't enjoy social media

  because there's there's this, there's this mob.

  OK, so here's what I'm going to say to all you give it a break.

  And and and people line up, they go, God, Kenny, you're so much

  fun to be around. This guy to me last night,

  sitting at the table, I'll end like this.

  I said, Oh yeah, I'm a I'm a great guy.

  So I'm telling you this, you look bad constantly getting on

  social media. Oh, man, what a race.

  Oh, look there, there's Chase Elliott on the inside.

  Oh, but what about the point system, people?
