- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with her radio, right,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and I have no light like I'll match you there now,
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'll at you hang on. Oh thanks is better? But
- 0:12Speaker 1: actually I think but I don't know. Yeah, I'm not
- 0:15Speaker 1: as shiny. That's nice. Hey, shiny is good in my
- 0:19Speaker 1: It's like do we yes, depends on how you describe it,
- 0:23Speaker 1: your do we radio. I've got such a radio podcasting.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm not entirely sure what this media. I know. I'm like,
- 0:37Speaker 1: it's podcasting radio. I don't know. Anyway, Welcome to our podcast,
- 0:41Speaker 1: whatever the hell it is, Welcome to it. I'm really
- 0:46Speaker 1: excited for today. Seven days at least, at least it's
- 0:52Speaker 1: been only seven days, because before that, well maybe before
- 0:56Speaker 1: that it was seven days, and then before that it
- 0:57Speaker 1: was like months. Yes, we took a lot, a little
- 1:00Speaker 1: hiatus man, A lot happen in seven days. Yes, especially
- 1:06Speaker 1: um good news for the person that we're going to
- 1:09Speaker 1: talk to today. I'm so excited. I love her and
- 1:15Speaker 1: have always rooted for I feel like a lot of
- 1:18Speaker 1: people have. Um, it's the one and only Claire Crawley,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and um, she's got some big things that have been
- 1:25Speaker 1: happening in her life and we're excited to talk about
- 1:28Speaker 1: it today. Yes, I'm excited. I think we should bring
- 1:31Speaker 1: her on. I mean, my goodness, this is the biggest
- 1:33Speaker 1: news going on in Bachelor Nation right now. I think
- 1:35Speaker 1: it's pretty spectacular. Yeah, I love it. Okay, let's bring
- 1:39Speaker 1: her in there. She is, well, Hi, how are you?
- 1:43Speaker 1: We're good. I mean, you've got to be on cloud nine. Congratulations,
- 1:49Speaker 1: Thank you so much. It was literally the most unexpected thing.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We were just living our lives, doing our thing, and
- 1:55Speaker 1: here we are, So it was unexpected. You didn't know, No,
- 2:00Speaker 1: absolutely not. I had no clue. As a matter of fact,
- 2:03Speaker 1: we always we always talked about getting engaged, um and
- 2:08Speaker 1: just our life together just felt so natural and it's
- 2:10Speaker 1: been the same for a long for a while. So
- 2:13Speaker 1: to me, it was just we were going on a trip.
- 2:15Speaker 1: We were going to the Rise festival, and then we
- 2:19Speaker 1: always joked about We're like, I'm like, when are you
- 2:21Speaker 1: getting engaged? And he's like, three, baby here and so yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Then he pulled it out and I kept trying to
- 2:29Speaker 1: like draw hints to see because I was like, this
- 2:32Speaker 1: is the most beautiful festival. This has been something we
- 2:34Speaker 1: have been dreaming about to go to, and I was like,
- 2:37Speaker 1: should I get my nails done? And he's like, no,
- 2:40Speaker 1: they look fine, and I was like, well, if I
- 2:41Speaker 1: get him done, I'm gonna do like party wild colors
- 2:44Speaker 1: and he's like, no, totally, that sounds great. When we
- 2:48Speaker 1: were we were leaving for the festival, I was like,
- 2:50Speaker 1: should I brush my hair or do you like a
- 2:52Speaker 1: messy knot? And he's like do it not? You look
- 2:54Speaker 1: hot in a messy not like who cares? And I
- 2:57Speaker 1: was like, okay, well I'm at or not, it's not
- 2:59Speaker 1: happening now because because it's just like do you baby?
- 3:02Speaker 1: You know? He doesn't he doesn't, yes, And afterwards aught
- 3:06Speaker 1: about that, I was like, why did you not at
- 3:09Speaker 1: least tell me to put on waterproof mass scara, like
- 3:14Speaker 1: because I didn't want to make it obvious and I
- 3:17Speaker 1: didn't want you to know. Are you a big surprise
- 3:20Speaker 1: person to you? Like surprises? I only like surprises when
- 3:24Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening, if that makes sense. Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So the type of people that are like, I've got
- 3:30Speaker 1: a surprise for you, but I don't want to tell you.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I can't do yeah, don't do it, don't bother? Yeah, yes,
- 3:41Speaker 1: so you were fully surprised so totally surprised completely and
- 3:44Speaker 1: I as a matter of fact, he even told me
- 3:47Speaker 1: they're like I said, there's parts of me that were like,
- 3:50Speaker 1: this is the perfect time, what this would be so
- 3:52Speaker 1: wonderful because here I am on our first date. Last
- 3:56Speaker 1: year we had talked about I was supposed to go
- 4:00Speaker 1: to the Rice Festival for the first time ever. So
- 4:02Speaker 1: it was September of last year and it was Rice
- 4:06Speaker 1: Festival at the same time every year, so I was like,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I really want to go to this. And I was
- 4:09Speaker 1: supposed to go with somebody else but got canceled on
- 4:13Speaker 1: and I was like, I'm really bummed because I really
- 4:15Speaker 1: want to go to this thing. And so this year
- 4:17Speaker 1: he was like, let's go together and I I couldn't
- 4:20Speaker 1: have been more happy because it was like we had
- 4:21Speaker 1: talked about this last year. He wanted to do it
- 4:24Speaker 1: just as much as I wanted to do it, and
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's a really special to it, so you have to
- 4:28Speaker 1: do it. Tris to Oh my god, so Bob, I
- 4:31Speaker 1: wrote her. I saw her photos and I have been
- 4:34Speaker 1: dying to do this as well. It looks so amazing.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I am totally into experiential things, uh, tell her, tell everybody.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So Basically you go out to the Mojabby Desert. It's
- 4:46Speaker 1: about I want to say, a half hour twenty minutes
- 4:48Speaker 1: outside of Las Vegas and the Lantern Festival. And what
- 4:52Speaker 1: you do is basically, at sunset it was a full moon.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You rite. You each get a huge lantern that's deeply
- 4:58Speaker 1: it's just a paper lantern and it's deflated. You write
- 5:01Speaker 1: your intentions. You write intentions on it. You can write hopes,
- 5:05Speaker 1: dreams for the future, you can write some people write
- 5:08Speaker 1: notes to loved ones that have passed on. Yeah, it's
- 5:12Speaker 1: a really special moment. And then they've got this really
- 5:15Speaker 1: beautiful music, kind of like yoga music going on, just
- 5:18Speaker 1: super relaxing. It's a beautiful, beautiful environment. I keep when
- 5:22Speaker 1: people ask me about it, I kind of compare it
- 5:24Speaker 1: to like Coachella, but for Yogi's where it's not music
- 5:29Speaker 1: not gathering up just I want to say, like seven
- 5:33Speaker 1: thousand people were there, but everybody has a little plot
- 5:36Speaker 1: and so you're not stepping on an other. You can
- 5:39Speaker 1: just sit and hang out on your own little plot
- 5:41Speaker 1: and it's it's Yeah. So when I reached out to you,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I actually looked it up and they have a whole
- 5:46Speaker 1: map of where you can go. I was like, where
- 5:50Speaker 1: do I even look. I mean, they don't have tickets
- 5:52Speaker 1: available for next year yet, but I definitely want to
- 5:55Speaker 1: know all the story, all the scoops. So yeah, that
- 5:57Speaker 1: sounds it's amazing. And then once they set it off.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm sure you've seen the videos and stuff like that,
- 6:02Speaker 1: but once they you led him all at the same
- 6:04Speaker 1: time and they go off out into just your little
- 6:08Speaker 1: torch lights up and it sends the lantern up, and
- 6:10Speaker 1: you see, I mayst want to cry thinking about thousand,
- 6:14Speaker 1: seven thousand lanterns that light up the sky, and it's
- 6:18Speaker 1: just such an emotional, such a special night, and without
- 6:22Speaker 1: the engagement, it was such a special night. So I
- 6:25Speaker 1: was already crying. I was already so happy to me
- 6:28Speaker 1: at one of them. On my lantern, I had written
- 6:30Speaker 1: don't give up and that oh yes, I saw your post.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I saw that was all That's all I knew about.
- 6:38Speaker 1: It was from your post. Yeah, so I had written
- 6:41Speaker 1: not even we hadn't even gotten obviously, I haven't gotten
- 6:43Speaker 1: engaged yet. I didn't know he was proposing, And I
- 6:46Speaker 1: just felt like where I was last year at this
- 6:49Speaker 1: time compared to this year at this time, I wanted
- 6:53Speaker 1: to give up that and trust me, on everything, I
- 6:55Speaker 1: wanted to give up. I wanted to give up on life.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I wanted to give up on relationships. I wanted to
- 7:01Speaker 1: give up on being vulnerable and open. It just was
- 7:03Speaker 1: tired of everything. I was tired of the game, tired,
- 7:07Speaker 1: and I thought if I had given up, I wouldn't
- 7:10Speaker 1: be experiencing one of the greatest moments of my life
- 7:13Speaker 1: with the man of my dreams. Right, yeah, I mean
- 7:17Speaker 1: so last year at this time. Um, I mean, obviously
- 7:21Speaker 1: your mom is you know, you're super close with your mom,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and she's had some has some health struggles and she did.
- 7:27Speaker 1: First of all, she's doing okay. She's thank you for asking.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's always hard to answer that one, and I have
- 7:33Speaker 1: a hard time to answering people with that question because
- 7:36Speaker 1: she's doing okay, but she's still in hospice. Um. Yeah, though,
- 7:42Speaker 1: as good as you can be. I guess she's positive.
- 7:44Speaker 1: She's a strong woman, and she loves Ryan, which is
- 7:49Speaker 1: everything to me. Oh my gosh, everything to you. That's
- 7:54Speaker 1: great that she's gotten to know him, all right, I
- 7:56Speaker 1: mean that's such a wonderful thing. Yeah, totally. He comes
- 7:58Speaker 1: with me every time that we're Sacramento, he comes with me.
- 8:01Speaker 1: He'll literally asked, will be like, can I come with
- 8:03Speaker 1: you to see your mom? And oh, I love I
- 8:06Speaker 1: just love it. Yeah, there's um. She kind of hit
- 8:10Speaker 1: one of those unfortunate milestones recently where um, she didn't
- 8:17Speaker 1: recognize me. And I think it was a momentary thing,
- 8:19Speaker 1: but she didn't. She didn't recognize me. She didn't remember
- 8:22Speaker 1: my name or anything like that, and it was just
- 8:24Speaker 1: a really been a little a little more difficult lately.
- 8:27Speaker 1: And I was sitting with her feeding her dinner the
- 8:29Speaker 1: other day and she looked at me and she was like,
- 8:32Speaker 1: where's Ryan? And I was like, so she knows, she knows,
- 8:37Speaker 1: she knows, you know. Oh, that's got to make you
- 8:40Speaker 1: so happy. I I gotta say, I can't imagine. I
- 8:43Speaker 1: love love in general, but Claire, you know, having gotten
- 8:47Speaker 1: to know you so many years ago, I'm so excited
- 8:49Speaker 1: for you because you are so deserving of this moment
- 8:52Speaker 1: and it's just so great to see you so happy,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and you know, with a with a guy that obviously
- 8:57Speaker 1: you know, really cares about you and wants to be
- 8:59Speaker 1: there for you. So I'm so happy for you. No,
- 9:03Speaker 1: thank you. It's been a long journey. But I think
- 9:07Speaker 1: everybody's got a different path and everybody's got a different
- 9:10Speaker 1: journey kind of thing. And I think it doesn't matter
- 9:13Speaker 1: how long it takes you to get there, as long
- 9:15Speaker 1: as you get there and where you want to be.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And here's the other thing too, which I find interesting,
- 9:20Speaker 1: is that I was actually really really happy with being single.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I love in the life. I say that the people
- 9:27Speaker 1: all the time. That's when it happens. I swear, that's
- 9:29Speaker 1: when it happens when you're like, you know what, I'm good,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm finally happy with me. And I mean and you,
- 9:34Speaker 1: you know, you you were very vocal about getting to
- 9:37Speaker 1: that place too, which I think is super inspirational for people.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You know, and I think that because they see you
- 9:42Speaker 1: on TV and they think, oh, everything must just be
- 9:43Speaker 1: great and wonderful. But you were really you know, you
- 9:46Speaker 1: put it out there and you were an open book
- 9:48Speaker 1: about it, and you were finally at this great place
- 9:50Speaker 1: with yourself and then all of a sudden, here comes
- 9:52Speaker 1: the perfect guy. Right. I think it's just it's a
- 9:55Speaker 1: great message. It's a great message for people to know
- 9:57Speaker 1: if they're like, why can't I find the right person?
- 9:59Speaker 1: It's like you gotta find your first and then then
- 10:01Speaker 1: you haven't. He had to find someone else, you know
- 10:03Speaker 1: exactly that. That's a big part of Ryan eyes relationship
- 10:06Speaker 1: where I haven't shared too much about it, but I've
- 10:09Speaker 1: talked about it, is that he reached out immediately when
- 10:13Speaker 1: I went through my last breakup, he reached out immediately,
- 10:16Speaker 1: didn't skip a beat, I feel like, and he reached
- 10:20Speaker 1: out and you guys had known each other before that,
- 10:23Speaker 1: or just reached out because he wanted to meet you.
- 10:25Speaker 1: We had known each other before that, and then we
- 10:27Speaker 1: hadn't we'd never met up in person, but we had
- 10:30Speaker 1: met through social media and stayed in contact and kind
- 10:33Speaker 1: of like always messed each other, just stayed friends. He
- 10:36Speaker 1: was always respectful of my relationship and everything, and even
- 10:39Speaker 1: prior to that, like he was just he's just a
- 10:41Speaker 1: really respectful guy. And so but he knew when I
- 10:44Speaker 1: became single. He reached out and I was at a
- 10:47Speaker 1: very very low point, and he's just the sweetest guy.
- 10:53Speaker 1: He just was so patient and he was like I
- 10:56Speaker 1: had told him I didn't want to go to dinner.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I didn't have an appetite or anything, and he was like,
- 10:59Speaker 1: let's just get tea, and I remember going. We laughed
- 11:02Speaker 1: about it now, but we went to grab tea and
- 11:04Speaker 1: I was so ill. I hadn't eaten a day. I
- 11:07Speaker 1: just so depressed and struggling. I hadn't got out of
- 11:10Speaker 1: bed days. And he we sat there and I had laughed.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I hadn't laughed in months, you guys, I hadn't laughed
- 11:19Speaker 1: in a long time, and like genuinely laughed. And we
- 11:23Speaker 1: sat there for four hours and just laughed and laughed
- 11:25Speaker 1: and laughed. And but the biggest when you know, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: that's when you know. But the biggest thing was as
- 11:30Speaker 1: amazing as he was, as great of chemistry as we
- 11:33Speaker 1: had then we had talked about it, and I had
- 11:36Speaker 1: told him because it was a couple maybe a couple
- 11:38Speaker 1: of months that we had been talking after that last breakup,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and I had told him I still have deep healing
- 11:45Speaker 1: and wounds that I need to heal on my own,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and I want to be able to do that on
- 11:50Speaker 1: my own and not lean on you as a crutch
- 11:52Speaker 1: for that or cover that up with this great new love.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I want to be able to genuinely heal and give
- 11:57Speaker 1: you the best of me. And because he the ongoing
- 12:02Speaker 1: thing is he it was too good to be a rebound,
- 12:05Speaker 1: and so waited until he wasn't and he gave me
- 12:10Speaker 1: up space. He dated other people, I dated other people, UM,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and then we kind of came back together and it
- 12:16Speaker 1: was even better than the first time. Does he live
- 12:20Speaker 1: in Sacramento or did he when you met? No, he
- 12:23Speaker 1: actually lives um in the Oakland Hills, So he lives
- 12:27Speaker 1: right essentially in my backyard. Okay, got it? Yeah, and
- 12:31Speaker 1: we I still so I have. I moved into mining
- 12:35Speaker 1: house in July, and he has his house here in Oakland,
- 12:39Speaker 1: but I still have that house. He has this house,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and we're just wherever we are, this is his house,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and so wherever we're at we're together. So I we're
- 12:46Speaker 1: in Oakland, we're together. If we're in Sacramento, we're together.
- 12:50Speaker 1: To do it. We just have them both, and I
- 12:52Speaker 1: want to prioritize. Yeah, I still wanted to have the
- 12:55Speaker 1: space to um live in my own house for a while,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and and also have my house and sacraments for the
- 13:03Speaker 1: time where I want to go see my mom and
- 13:04Speaker 1: I go see your cheek. So it's it's worked out
- 13:07Speaker 1: for brillion. It's an easy it's maybe an hour drive
- 13:10Speaker 1: so it's super easy. I was gonna say, it seems
- 13:11Speaker 1: really close from my memory. Yeah, yeah, okay, so tell
- 13:16Speaker 1: us about him. Let's let's get the scoop on, right.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's Ryan Dawkins, Ducks Dukins. He is the greatest. I
- 13:26Speaker 1: feel like he is. So, I mean, for the longest time,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I didn't share a relationship because it didn't matter like that.
- 13:34Speaker 1: It didn't, It wasn't, there was nothing. It was actually
- 13:38Speaker 1: a priority for me to date a man and to
- 13:40Speaker 1: be with a man that didn't want the faith that
- 13:43Speaker 1: came with the show social media, and that's always that's
- 13:47Speaker 1: always a twist, like like Trista obviously didn't have to
- 13:50Speaker 1: experience this part of it. When you come off the
- 13:52Speaker 1: show and you are single, which you know, we Claire
- 13:55Speaker 1: and I have both done that. You do you do
- 13:58Speaker 1: sometimes wonder about people's motivations, right, like, you know, why
- 14:00Speaker 1: is this person calling me all the time? Why are they?
- 14:03Speaker 1: You know? It does make you kind of wonder. But
- 14:06Speaker 1: thankfully Trista got it right the first time. She's the
- 14:08Speaker 1: queen of that stuff. So that's not no, I did not.
- 14:12Speaker 1: You were forgetting the Bachelor. Oh yeah, yeah, we know.
- 14:20Speaker 1: The Bachelor has a much better track record than The Bachelor. Yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 1: but yeah, I mean it's it was. You do wonder
- 14:31Speaker 1: about that, right You are kind of like maybe I
- 14:33Speaker 1: just need to be by myself for that reason too. Yep, absolutely,
- 14:37Speaker 1: And I was actually, to be honest, okay, being by myself.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I feel like single women, single people don't get enough
- 14:44Speaker 1: credit that they I mean it's I loved being single
- 14:48Speaker 1: and I wanted to wait for the right guy that
- 14:50Speaker 1: didn't care about the aspect. Couldn't have any social gain
- 14:54Speaker 1: from me being associated with the show because that could
- 14:57Speaker 1: listen for somebody to want to be m Yeah. Okay,
- 15:01Speaker 1: So he has two daughters, right, and so you're you're
- 15:05Speaker 1: a stepmom now or you're going to be a step
- 15:08Speaker 1: do you guys get married? So how do you feel
- 15:10Speaker 1: about that? Do you love it? I mean, I can
- 15:13Speaker 1: see you fitting perfectly into any any relationship that has
- 15:17Speaker 1: to do with a girl. You're I feel like you're
- 15:18Speaker 1: a girl's girl. The guys guys guy's girl too. But
- 15:22Speaker 1: I love, love, love his daughters. They are the most snugliest,
- 15:28Speaker 1: sweetest girls ever and they have been so loving to
- 15:32Speaker 1: me and accepting to me, which has meant a lot,
- 15:35Speaker 1: Like they could easy to be like, you're not my mom,
- 15:38Speaker 1: which they've got an amazing mom, and I always try
- 15:41Speaker 1: to remind them like, I'm not trying to come in
- 15:43Speaker 1: and be your mom. You have an amazing mom that
- 15:45Speaker 1: loves you more than anything in the world. I'm just
- 15:47Speaker 1: here to add love to your life, to add happiness
- 15:50Speaker 1: to your life, and to help your dad. And uh,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I love that you love but like he's blessing, he's
- 15:59Speaker 1: a lover. We were laughing because we were sitting watching
- 16:02Speaker 1: a movie and the girls were at school, and he
- 16:05Speaker 1: was like, why do my girls text you ten times
- 16:08Speaker 1: more than they text me? Like ten to what? But
- 16:11Speaker 1: I just I love them. I genuinely love his daughters,
- 16:15Speaker 1: And it was a big part of why I love
- 16:17Speaker 1: him so much is because he's such an amazing goad
- 16:20Speaker 1: to them, such an amazing Yes, that's such a turn on, Yeah,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I said. I said that a few years ago to
- 16:28Speaker 1: a friend of mine who was dating a guy with kids,
- 16:31Speaker 1: and I literally said, I'm like, if you don't like
- 16:34Speaker 1: this guy, I'll figure out a way to marry him
- 16:36Speaker 1: because he's such a great dad. Like it's so it's
- 16:38Speaker 1: such a great thing, you know that prioritizing of your
- 16:41Speaker 1: children is like a big deal, especially when I think
- 16:43Speaker 1: when you see people like you guys dating and he's
- 16:45Speaker 1: still putting his kids first. It's pretty spectacular totally, and
- 16:49Speaker 1: it's the sweetest thing in the world where even this morning,
- 16:52Speaker 1: one of my favorite things to do together is school
- 16:54Speaker 1: drop off, and I just love everything about them all life.
- 16:57Speaker 1: And we did go off together and he he'll get up,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I'll he'll let me. He won't wake me up, And
- 17:04Speaker 1: he'll get up and he'll be making them pancakes, cooking breakfast,
- 17:07Speaker 1: packing their lunches, getting their clothes ready, like he's such
- 17:10Speaker 1: a good dad to them. And I get up and
- 17:12Speaker 1: they're just all with their backpacks ready for school, and
- 17:15Speaker 1: love him. He's at from the distance listening because you blushing. Um,
- 17:30Speaker 1: oh yeah he's got oh I love um he's he's
- 17:36Speaker 1: just a really good dad. And it was one of
- 17:37Speaker 1: the things of I got that inside peek of how
- 17:41Speaker 1: he is. And there's some guys who you don't know
- 17:44Speaker 1: when you marry them, if they don't have kids, what
- 17:46Speaker 1: kind of dad they're gonna be, Like, Yeah, yeah, they
- 17:49Speaker 1: could be a not present dad. And he's very present
- 17:52Speaker 1: with his daughters. And I absolutely love that. So okay,
- 17:55Speaker 1: so I know you just got engaged. And I hate
- 17:57Speaker 1: it when people rush people and they're like, okay, so
- 18:00Speaker 1: when's babies coming? But I know I feel like you've
- 18:03Speaker 1: wanted to be a mom for a while. Yeah, is
- 18:06Speaker 1: that something on the table, Like do you think that
- 18:09Speaker 1: you would like to have children with him? Um? Well,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I have always said, and I know it's so funny
- 18:16Speaker 1: because even publicly, I'm like babies, and I all my friends,
- 18:22Speaker 1: everybody who knows me knows how much I just love
- 18:26Speaker 1: babies just in general. So the fact that he comes
- 18:30Speaker 1: with two babies already lights up my world. And I
- 18:35Speaker 1: have told him we first started dating, I said, I
- 18:37Speaker 1: know you have two roles. So whether whether our path
- 18:41Speaker 1: is just your two girls another baby added on to that,
- 18:45Speaker 1: it's our baby, Um, whether we adopt a baby, whether
- 18:48Speaker 1: we whatever it is because I'm older, whatever it looks like.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Even if it's only his two girls, it's his two girls,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and that those are children in my life. That's what
- 18:58Speaker 1: I wanted to family. So however that's going to work out,
- 19:02Speaker 1: we haven't. Really. We're deciding that we're figuring that out,
- 19:06Speaker 1: but not in a rush to fail out. And I
- 19:08Speaker 1: feel I've always kind of joked about, like, I know,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm forty one, but I'm like, I'm a child bride.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Don't ask me. Like nowadays, women there are so many
- 19:18Speaker 1: options to children at any age. Who's the one that's
- 19:23Speaker 1: pregnant now with twins at what forty eight? Hilary Swank. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 1: she's like, so people like to say this, Oh, you're
- 19:34Speaker 1: so old and you're just too old Baines and that,
- 19:38Speaker 1: but I feel like we are so much times are
- 19:42Speaker 1: different now, we are so much down. Yeah, and medical
- 19:47Speaker 1: technology has come up. I mean, Claire, I'm fifty one
- 19:49Speaker 1: and I have a three year old and one year old,
- 19:51Speaker 1: so anything, you know, it's totally doable. But they were
- 19:55Speaker 1: calling but to be fair, they were calling my I mean,
- 19:57Speaker 1: my wife wanted to kill him. But you remember meeting
- 20:00Speaker 1: and and I'm sure Claire when we were in l
- 20:01Speaker 1: a years ago together, but she got pregnant with our
- 20:05Speaker 1: second she was thirty five, and they called her a
- 20:07Speaker 1: geriatric pressent. I literally thought she was gonna kill somebody.
- 20:11Speaker 1: That is the most outdated. They need to raise that
- 20:14Speaker 1: bar because they're giatric, they're healthy, just older having children,
- 20:18Speaker 1: and it's yeah, I think it honestly varies at different
- 20:22Speaker 1: parts of the world to helpful, because I feel like
- 20:24Speaker 1: even in the United States, in New York, the average
- 20:27Speaker 1: age of women having children is a lot older than
- 20:30Speaker 1: in Middle Yeah. Yeah, because they put their careers first
- 20:33Speaker 1: or whatever. Yeah, it's a lot different. So I will
- 20:36Speaker 1: say this is that Ryan. We've talked about it. Ryan's
- 20:39Speaker 1: open to anything and everything. So it's not like I've
- 20:42Speaker 1: got my two girls, I don't want children. Do you
- 20:45Speaker 1: still want to be with me? It's it's not like
- 20:46Speaker 1: that at all. It's he is like, I want what
- 20:49Speaker 1: you want and I'm down for that. As long as
- 20:53Speaker 1: you're together. Who cares? I love it. So he's a
- 21:07Speaker 1: big triathlete, right, yes, Oh my gosh, tell me why
- 21:11Speaker 1: he can? I brab for one seconde he did? Yes? Please?
- 21:14Speaker 1: He is such an athlete just naturally. I am alway.
- 21:18Speaker 1: He's had this triathlon for not traffling this iron Man
- 21:22Speaker 1: for the last couple of months. He's been planning for it,
- 21:24Speaker 1: but has not he worked out, like he's gone on
- 21:28Speaker 1: jogs and runs. But I know how that is. Yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 1: he went out and amazing, like are you not dead?
- 21:33Speaker 1: He went't hiked in the next morning, up and a
- 21:36Speaker 1: camel dock's recovery. It must be something in the name.
- 21:41Speaker 1: The name Ryan makes these people like superhuman athletes. It's exacting.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I agree, Yes, how is Ryan doing? How is he doing?
- 21:49Speaker 1: He's good, He's you know, he's got his up and
- 21:52Speaker 1: down days. But um, thank you for asking. Um, he's good,
- 21:55Speaker 1: he's I don't know if you read or heard about it.
- 21:58Speaker 1: We don't need to get into it. But he's sticking
- 22:00Speaker 1: himself with honey beats be venom therapy. I was just
- 22:03Speaker 1: talking about that the other day to Run. I was
- 22:07Speaker 1: showing them a video on it, and because I'm not
- 22:09Speaker 1: even realizing that you guys do it, but it has
- 22:12Speaker 1: been so beneficial to people in so many ways. I
- 22:17Speaker 1: alternative therapies, and I believe deep. Talking to Ryan about
- 22:21Speaker 1: it was like ran when we were in uh where
- 22:23Speaker 1: were we? Like Tahoe and Ryan. Ryan and I had
- 22:26Speaker 1: had like half an hour conversation about it, and I
- 22:28Speaker 1: was my mind was blown. I'm like, wait a minute,
- 22:31Speaker 1: you intentionally sting yourself with bees. I would like start
- 22:34Speaker 1: bawling like a baby, but he was like telling yeah,
- 22:37Speaker 1: it's crazy, Yeah, we need to bring him on. Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 1: you know, well, it's funny because I don't know if
- 22:44Speaker 1: I would because last week I think something was wrong
- 22:46Speaker 1: with me. I can't remember what was wrong. And you
- 22:48Speaker 1: can use it for everything, like you can you can
- 22:50Speaker 1: do use be venom therapy for everything. And maybe I
- 22:53Speaker 1: was just feeling bad. I think I was just feeling yucky.
- 22:56Speaker 1: He's like, well, why don't you do a couple of stings.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I'm like, oh no, not happening a couple of Yeah,
- 23:02Speaker 1: I just can't. It's a little house. It's a little house,
- 23:08Speaker 1: um that that lives in our pantry and we just
- 23:11Speaker 1: ordered more. They came via FedEx y from from an aviary.
- 23:16Speaker 1: It's crazy, um because here in Colorado, they you can't
- 23:21Speaker 1: get them anymore. They're in their hives for the like
- 23:23Speaker 1: the cold season. But um yeah, he is still stinging
- 23:28Speaker 1: and he has his ups and downs. But thank you
- 23:31Speaker 1: for asking. He's good. I mean, the thing is, I
- 23:33Speaker 1: know that triathlon life, that triathlete life, and I feel
- 23:38Speaker 1: like it's funny because I was never interested. Like never,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I was like, okay, you do you. I'll do a
- 23:44Speaker 1: five k with you every so often, maybe, but I'm
- 23:47Speaker 1: not even close to like even thinking about marathons. But
- 23:51Speaker 1: You've done a bunch of races, haven't you. I have.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I Actually, that's one thing that's changed in my life.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Is that. A couple of years ago, when I was
- 23:59Speaker 1: super sick with my breast implants, when I had them in, um,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I could barely walk. I could barely walk. I was
- 24:07Speaker 1: so sick. I was doing my best, but it would
- 24:08Speaker 1: take all of my energy just to function normally. So
- 24:13Speaker 1: working out above that, doing anything above that, it was
- 24:16Speaker 1: extremely hard. I was more yoga, light plodies. Those were
- 24:21Speaker 1: my workouts. And now with Ryan, he actually, um, he
- 24:25Speaker 1: just I believe, bought a marathon and so he his
- 24:29Speaker 1: job is no, wait, how do you do that? I
- 24:32Speaker 1: don't know people own marathons, but it's a thing. So
- 24:37Speaker 1: he but he literally puts on races and that's his
- 24:41Speaker 1: job is too. Yeah, he's worked for the Giants, He's
- 24:44Speaker 1: done a bunch of that stuff. So he is very
- 24:47Speaker 1: much into running. And I want to be with him
- 24:50Speaker 1: a lot. I love being with him, and so when
- 24:53Speaker 1: he goes and does these things, it's in like this weekend,
- 24:55Speaker 1: we have one in Dallas, and I'm like, I want
- 24:57Speaker 1: to come to Dallas with you, and so I'm gonna
- 24:59Speaker 1: go the running running run the one in Dallas. So
- 25:02Speaker 1: he works it, I run it, and then I just
- 25:04Speaker 1: meet him at the end. That's awesome. But he love it.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I think that to me is a sign of one
- 25:10Speaker 1: of the signs of a good partner is that if
- 25:12Speaker 1: you make each other's lives better. And he's always encouraging me,
- 25:17Speaker 1: always like, let's do this. I want to do it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I want to, you know, run with him, and so
- 25:22Speaker 1: it's it's really made my life better and improved my life.
- 25:27Speaker 1: That's awesome. Yeah, well you look great. You look so happy.
- 25:30Speaker 1: You're just radiating happiness. I love it. You're that person.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I mean, we all adore you, and it's just like
- 25:36Speaker 1: so great to see you just find the right person
- 25:39Speaker 1: and just hit that next level, you know. Seriously, especially
- 25:44Speaker 1: after one Pablo, you know what, I feel like that
- 25:49Speaker 1: was it was all for a purpose. It was all
- 25:51Speaker 1: for a purpose. Even going that with one Pablo. It
- 25:55Speaker 1: was a pivotal moment in my life for standing up
- 25:58Speaker 1: for myself to a on That was the first time
- 26:00Speaker 1: I had ever done that. It was right after an
- 26:02Speaker 1: a piece of relationship. If I've shared that before, but
- 26:05Speaker 1: it was a moment that I had that I needed
- 26:07Speaker 1: to be able to stand up for myself. So I
- 26:09Speaker 1: am thankful for that moment as well. Yeah, that's crazy
- 26:13Speaker 1: that I remember meeting you right after that, and I
- 26:15Speaker 1: was just like I loved first of all, I loved
- 26:18Speaker 1: that season because I made me feel so good about myself, like,
- 26:24Speaker 1: oh wait, this guy is way worse than me. No,
- 26:28Speaker 1: but it was like one of those things where I
- 26:29Speaker 1: loved you standing up to him. I loved everything you said,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and it was like, you know, then we I just
- 26:35Speaker 1: along the way. You know. It was just like you
- 26:37Speaker 1: just built such a bigger and bigger following of people
- 26:39Speaker 1: that and then you impacted him so much by being
- 26:41Speaker 1: so open and honest, you know. And I think it's
- 26:44Speaker 1: just I just love. I love the whole full circle.
- 26:46Speaker 1: And I agree you've got to go through those bumps
- 26:48Speaker 1: in the road and that's all part of your story
- 26:50Speaker 1: before you arrive where you need to be, you know.
- 26:52Speaker 1: And and I'll tell you to thank you for a thing.
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'll tell you too. And I feel like this is
- 26:57Speaker 1: an important thing is that I am extremely extremely happy
- 27:02Speaker 1: now and everybody, even in my comments, people are like, oh,
- 27:04Speaker 1: you're going You're happier this year that I I was
- 27:08Speaker 1: happy not being in a relationship with Ryan. This happiness
- 27:12Speaker 1: came from me. This happiness came from healing. This happiness
- 27:16Speaker 1: came through doing the hard work of kind of trudging
- 27:20Speaker 1: through the emotional crap that I needed to get rid
- 27:22Speaker 1: of and the heaviness and the forgiveness that I needed
- 27:24Speaker 1: to experience in my own life. That's where this happiness
- 27:28Speaker 1: has come from. And Ryan adds to it, and I'm
- 27:31Speaker 1: grateful for him for but this happiness was a long
- 27:35Speaker 1: time coming and a lot of therapy and a lot
- 27:37Speaker 1: of work within myself and a self work. So that's
- 27:40Speaker 1: where this is where eaten from. And that's how I'm
- 27:42Speaker 1: able to have a healthy relationship now, is because I've
- 27:46Speaker 1: done the work. That's that's where I get the happiness.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That's where I sources. So even if Ryan left, God forbid,
- 27:51Speaker 1: if he left tomorrow, I would still have this happiness. Yeah,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you laid happiness foundation and now you both can build
- 28:02Speaker 1: a house on it. So I think it's beautiful. I mean,
- 28:13Speaker 1: I'm here for you, Bob. No, I don't let any
- 28:18Speaker 1: man ever again break me. So with that strengthen that
- 28:22Speaker 1: foundation for myself. Do not let a man bring me
- 28:26Speaker 1: that level ever. Again. Okay, so I have to ask.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I mean, if you want to shut me down, shut
- 28:32Speaker 1: me down, But I just want to know if any
- 28:34Speaker 1: of your ex is have reached out since hearing the news.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Totally totally I have. They have. Yeah, I've dated some
- 28:41Speaker 1: really amazing guys. I will tell you there are absolutely
- 28:46Speaker 1: ones that have not and one and we could probably
- 28:51Speaker 1: guess which one. I will see one if you'd like.
- 28:54Speaker 1: But UM, to me, it's very telling of I care.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I feel like there's a meme about this, or like
- 29:02Speaker 1: some quote about this, but how how I treat you
- 29:07Speaker 1: as a reflection of how you treated me. So if
- 29:09Speaker 1: you think that I'm awful, what did it take for
- 29:13Speaker 1: me to get there? You know, like I'm not. I'm
- 29:16Speaker 1: not brat for no reason. I don't have an attitude
- 29:19Speaker 1: for no reason. I'm not difficult for no reason. You're
- 29:22Speaker 1: good to me, I'm good to you and my expending
- 29:26Speaker 1: such a good friend, the sweetest got out. Yeah, and
- 29:30Speaker 1: even guys prior to ben Well that I've dated um
- 29:33Speaker 1: have totally reached out and are just the sweetest things
- 29:36Speaker 1: in the entire world in our congratulations and just really kind,
- 29:39Speaker 1: really kind of Yeah, you get you get what you
- 29:42Speaker 1: give right, yeah, yeah, the golden rule. Yeah, how you
- 29:48Speaker 1: want to be treated right? Yep? Um okay, So two
- 29:53Speaker 1: more questions that I have and then Bob you can
- 29:55Speaker 1: you can take over if you want. But are you
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm sure it just I know it just happened. But
- 30:00Speaker 1: do you have visions of a of a a wedding
- 30:03Speaker 1: in mind? Like, do you know kind of what you
- 30:05Speaker 1: want to do? I've we've definitely thought about it. I
- 30:09Speaker 1: want a very simple wedding. I've always wanted that. For
- 30:14Speaker 1: my years of being a hair stylist, I did way
- 30:16Speaker 1: too many bride's hair. Oh I said, oh my gosh,
- 30:20Speaker 1: the sweetest bride I rolled you will. I always were like,
- 30:24Speaker 1: they're gonna be an easy bride. They're super calm, they're
- 30:27Speaker 1: super laid back. They were bridezillas. I just feel like
- 30:31Speaker 1: I don't want to put the energy and the stress
- 30:34Speaker 1: to worry about other people on my special day or
- 30:36Speaker 1: are a special day. So I want really simple I
- 30:40Speaker 1: actually I will tell you this. We want two weddings.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I love. So you're gonna have destination wedding. Yes, I
- 30:52Speaker 1: want one because my mom is not able to travel
- 30:55Speaker 1: or do anything like that. Um, and to be around
- 30:58Speaker 1: a lot of people. It's kind of over it's overwhelming
- 31:00Speaker 1: for her, and I just want a special moment with
- 31:04Speaker 1: her as to have us really just a small intimate ceremony. Um,
- 31:09Speaker 1: we had that, Ryan, we had I don't know if
- 31:11Speaker 1: you could actually nobody knows this, but Ryan proposed twice
- 31:13Speaker 1: to me once he did Yeah for the actually we
- 31:17Speaker 1: have here's this funny story. We have actually there proposals.
- 31:22Speaker 1: So he proposed to meet the Rise festival. Then we
- 31:27Speaker 1: came back to Sacramento and he oh, it's amice want
- 31:32Speaker 1: to cry every time. But he asked my mom for
- 31:34Speaker 1: her blessing again, and um, when he did that, he
- 31:38Speaker 1: got down on a knee again and in front of
- 31:40Speaker 1: my mom proposed to it, which is yeah and then yeah,
- 31:48Speaker 1: and then we are very progressive people. And so I
- 31:51Speaker 1: actually I didn't get down on a knee, but I
- 31:53Speaker 1: proposed to him as well. So if people see him
- 31:56Speaker 1: his finger, it's because I proposed to him as well.
- 31:59Speaker 1: So we he thought, if you get to wear a ring,
- 32:02Speaker 1: why don't I get to wear a ring. Here's a
- 32:08Speaker 1: almost famous O. G. First, we're all crying, so that's good,
- 32:13Speaker 1: really special moments. So he he knows how much my
- 32:16Speaker 1: mom means to me, how important she is in our lives,
- 32:19Speaker 1: and so yeah, he proposed twice, so I want her to.
- 32:22Speaker 1: He also was like, wants her to be there for
- 32:24Speaker 1: the wedding, and we don't know. Time is precious and
- 32:27Speaker 1: time is limited, so we want one with her to
- 32:30Speaker 1: a small intimate thing, and then one I want another
- 32:33Speaker 1: small one, but just something more of like with his
- 32:36Speaker 1: girls and us and something something and maybe a destination
- 32:42Speaker 1: that Yeah, I love it. I don't even want to
- 32:46Speaker 1: ask my next question because that was just like the
- 32:49Speaker 1: perfect like I just love that conversation. I am just
- 32:54Speaker 1: so happy for you. Thank you so much, happy, seriously,
- 32:57Speaker 1: thank you. I appreciate that so much. And you can
- 33:00Speaker 1: literally ask anything, like I'm an open book with it
- 33:02Speaker 1: all if oh, I know, I just want to thank
- 33:06Speaker 1: you for coming on our little show to share it
- 33:08Speaker 1: when it's so nice. Of course, seriously, I have to
- 33:12Speaker 1: say this time, I love sharing the story, but I
- 33:15Speaker 1: love sharing my love and the story righting us and
- 33:20Speaker 1: details of us because it really is a special relationship
- 33:22Speaker 1: to me and I'm proud of this one and happy
- 33:25Speaker 1: about this one. And he really does light me up.
- 33:27Speaker 1: So you can see it's all over your face. I
- 33:30Speaker 1: love it. Okay, I am going to ask the question
- 33:43Speaker 1: because I do kind of just want to know. I
- 33:45Speaker 1: was watching your stories, I think yesterday or maybe the
- 33:48Speaker 1: day before, and you had like a little Q and
- 33:50Speaker 1: A with him, which was so cute, by the way,
- 33:54Speaker 1: And one of the questions that came up was has
- 33:58Speaker 1: he watched the show? Do you plan on? Does he
- 34:02Speaker 1: plan on watching the show? Because I know he kind
- 34:04Speaker 1: of joked about it in the story like, well, now
- 34:06Speaker 1: I want to see it, But is that true or
- 34:09Speaker 1: was he just joking like will you guys watch it together?
- 34:11Speaker 1: Bachelor in Paradise? Are you watching all the things? I
- 34:14Speaker 1: don't know. He's he's very which I told him in
- 34:19Speaker 1: the beginning. I need a very stable guy who was
- 34:21Speaker 1: comfortable with my past and who was comfortable with everything
- 34:25Speaker 1: about me, because that's what makes me me, is everything
- 34:27Speaker 1: I've been so whether it's relationships, whether it's like we
- 34:31Speaker 1: talked about stuff all the time, we talked about guys
- 34:33Speaker 1: I've dated, he's been on the phone or I've been
- 34:36Speaker 1: on the phone with an X, Like he's amazing. So
- 34:38Speaker 1: he's he just kind of laughs it at all and
- 34:40Speaker 1: it's kind of like whatever and find it funny. But
- 34:42Speaker 1: I don't know, right, let's ask him, you guys can
- 34:48Speaker 1: ask him. Let's ask him. Yes, I love it, Do
- 34:51Speaker 1: you do you want to watch the show? So I
- 34:58Speaker 1: asked her, I was watching the stories, um, yesterday or
- 35:01Speaker 1: the day before when she did that little cute Q
- 35:03Speaker 1: and A when you guys were cooking together, and uh
- 35:06Speaker 1: and and I know that you joked and said, oh,
- 35:09Speaker 1: well i'll watch now. Um. But I was like, was
- 35:12Speaker 1: he joking or or was that true? Do you have
- 35:16Speaker 1: any interest in watching? I definitely would and maybe if
- 35:19Speaker 1: we watched it, well, probably watched together, laugh together and
- 35:23Speaker 1: be like yes. See. That's that's the only problem. I
- 35:27Speaker 1: will tell you. We tried to watch my season my
- 35:29Speaker 1: my wife and I and they don't have VHS tapes anymore,
- 35:32Speaker 1: so it was really difficult. So needless to say, I've
- 35:36Speaker 1: got to bounce that stuff over to a DVD format
- 35:39Speaker 1: at some point because that will be outdated soon. Anyway,
- 35:42Speaker 1: I have to convert that. Yeah, I love it, Yeah,
- 35:45Speaker 1: but we I think we could probably laugh watch it laugh.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I think that's the best way to watch it. But
- 35:50Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, I feel like, what you need to
- 35:53Speaker 1: show him is is maybe the moment where you told
- 35:57Speaker 1: one Pablo off because that's kind of like a big
- 36:00Speaker 1: part of who you are, you know, like how you
- 36:02Speaker 1: shared it was a pivotal moment for you. Um, I
- 36:06Speaker 1: think you need to watch that. Ryan. I think we've
- 36:09Speaker 1: had We've had times, we've had like he probably knows,
- 36:12Speaker 1: not probably he knows about it all. I've told him
- 36:14Speaker 1: all the even the behind the scenes of everything with
- 36:17Speaker 1: a lot of it. So like he's then he'll put
- 36:20Speaker 1: an actual video to with the stories that I've told. Yeah,
- 36:25Speaker 1: I did that with my life too. I was so
- 36:27Speaker 1: like up front, I'm like, I just never want you
- 36:29Speaker 1: to be surprised by anything. So here you go, you know,
- 36:31Speaker 1: here is everything, this is what really happened, this is
- 36:34Speaker 1: what you saw on TV, that kind of stuff. And
- 36:36Speaker 1: it's easy. It's easy. And it's like, if you have
- 36:39Speaker 1: a problem with anything that I've done, that's not accepting
- 36:42Speaker 1: me completely. Holy. So when you come into this race relationship,
- 36:46Speaker 1: you gotta know you gotta love me for my good,
- 36:49Speaker 1: for my bad, for everything that I've been through, because
- 36:51Speaker 1: that's what makes me me. He knows, I mean, all
- 36:56Speaker 1: of his stuff, that's what makes me I'd love and
- 36:58Speaker 1: accept him for who he as well. Everybody's got a
- 37:01Speaker 1: pass and that's what gets you get to your present,
- 37:03Speaker 1: you know. So it's like without it, you wouldn't be
- 37:06Speaker 1: who you are. I love that. I think it's awesome. Yeah,
- 37:08Speaker 1: I'm excited for you. I have I have one question
- 37:11Speaker 1: for Ryan. Um, well, before you go, were you at
- 37:15Speaker 1: iron Man Hawaii in two thousand four Hawaii? Are? Oh?
- 37:27Speaker 1: It is so? My husband has done um some iron
- 37:30Speaker 1: Man races as well and expas and stuff. Yes, it
- 37:34Speaker 1: was so incredible, such an amazing experience. Um, but I
- 37:38Speaker 1: have no interest in doing it myself on like unlike Claire, Well,
- 37:42Speaker 1: at least the race part. Yeah, definitely. I mean that's
- 37:47Speaker 1: pretty intenselated right now. I feel like if, right if
- 37:53Speaker 1: Ryan Sutter walked in and was on the camera, I'd
- 37:55Speaker 1: just be like, really, guys, really on bookended two Super
- 37:59Speaker 1: Ryan's and then there's stuff anyway, you have yourself, Thank you, right,
- 38:05Speaker 1: thank you for talking? Um, Okay, before I keep saying this,
- 38:11Speaker 1: one last question. You haven't produced sweatshirt on? Where is
- 38:14Speaker 1: that yours? Or? Right? Girl? Are you kidding me? This
- 38:17Speaker 1: is neither one of us. I have such a fascination,
- 38:19Speaker 1: lazy with getting vintage sweatshirts, and oh my god, that
- 38:26Speaker 1: that is my jamp so no perdue for me. I went, okay,
- 38:29Speaker 1: got it community college for my cosmetology degree. Not that's okay,
- 38:36Speaker 1: But I'm telling you, vint sweatshirts are my things fall,
- 38:40Speaker 1: so okay, share them with me because I'm all about
- 38:43Speaker 1: it too, all about the cozy, all about leggings. Look
- 38:47Speaker 1: very comfortable. We are cozy, were cozy. Thank what's your say?
- 38:55Speaker 1: Oh veil, oh Veril, gotcha, gotcha? You gotta represent the
- 38:59Speaker 1: hood in the hoodie fancy. You're just fancy right now.
- 39:03Speaker 1: You know, we were going to do some family photos today,
- 39:06Speaker 1: so I'm trying to go. I'm trying to find my luck.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Are you for Christmas cards? Not yet, now, I says.
- 39:14Speaker 1: You know, I'm in Michigan and the fall colors are
- 39:16Speaker 1: so beautiful, so I wanted to try and take advantage.
- 39:19Speaker 1: And I got all gussied up and then it started raining. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 39:25Speaker 1: not today, not today. I'm sorry. Well that's okay. You
- 39:29Speaker 1: look nice for the pod, you look at it. I
- 39:32Speaker 1: wore this little digit sweatshirt tied. You guys both look
- 39:36Speaker 1: adorable come on, come on, so good. I love I
- 39:41Speaker 1: love this chat. We are you as you know, we're
- 39:44Speaker 1: the o G s and because you are your your
- 39:47Speaker 1: you are an OG especially because we're kind of in
- 39:50Speaker 1: Bachelor in Paradise season, so you're legit o G guy's
- 39:54Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah yeah and obviously a huge fan favorite.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I mean unbelievable. Yeah, yeah. Do you regret bash My
- 40:02Speaker 1: Paradise said, oh, did you youret going on there? I
- 40:05Speaker 1: don't regret anything in my life, but I do. It
- 40:07Speaker 1: was it was one of the more challenging things for
- 40:09Speaker 1: me because in the o G seasons there was not
- 40:13Speaker 1: an alcohol limit for people, and right that's the only
- 40:18Speaker 1: thing there was to do on the beach was just
- 40:20Speaker 1: get hammered. And I don't drink, and so for me,
- 40:24Speaker 1: I'm sure I just too cool because but I wasn't.
- 40:29Speaker 1: It was just like I don't drink, so I'm bored,
- 40:31Speaker 1: and I just kind of isolated myself and which just
- 40:34Speaker 1: wasn't my vibe. It wasn't my thing. I thought going
- 40:37Speaker 1: on there it would be like zip lines and adventures
- 40:41Speaker 1: and horsebock kings and boat rides and whatever, like a
- 40:44Speaker 1: lot of just swimming in the ocean. But it was
- 40:47Speaker 1: just too dang hot. There was nothing. You couldn't even
- 40:50Speaker 1: get on the beach without heat stroking. So it was
- 40:52Speaker 1: just really yeah, a lot of sitting around and just
- 40:56Speaker 1: drinking for people. And I was just sitting around and
- 40:58Speaker 1: being like boring. And then the whole raccoon conversations happened.
- 41:07Speaker 1: You come on the amount of people who were like,
- 41:15Speaker 1: why would you talk to a raccoon? How stupid? I mean,
- 41:18Speaker 1: come on, well, now we know you and the raccoon
- 41:23Speaker 1: were the only two that weren't hammered, so it makes sense. Yeah,
- 41:27Speaker 1: I know there's points where I wish I drank but
- 41:29Speaker 1: did not. You know what, though, you can thank you
- 41:33Speaker 1: lucky stars for that. Once you see like the edits
- 41:36Speaker 1: back and you're like the only one that doesn't say
- 41:37Speaker 1: anything dumb. You're like, conversation with raccoon, I'll take that,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I take I'll take that over. I probably did dump
- 41:44Speaker 1: things too, but like I couldn't blame it on the alcohol.
- 41:46Speaker 1: You know, maybe yes I wasn't Okay, Yeah, I was drunk,
- 41:55Speaker 1: all right. Well, cheers to you even though you don't drink.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Cheers to you and Ryan and huge gratulations. We are
- 42:02Speaker 1: just so happy for you. Thank you, thank you. I
- 42:05Speaker 1: just love your love. I love your love, I love
- 42:07Speaker 1: your happiness. I love the light that shines from within you.
- 42:11Speaker 1: So well, thank you, Thank you guys so much for
- 42:14Speaker 1: having me on. I know when they when they told
- 42:16Speaker 1: me I could come on with you guys, I was like, yes,
- 42:18Speaker 1: I want to talk to you guys so much more.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I feel like the new the new generation of people
- 42:25Speaker 1: on the show. I'm like, I could be their moms.
- 42:28Speaker 1: We could be their moms, and the same I am
- 42:30Speaker 1: turning fifty. I'm turning fifty, so uh do not look fifty.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Thank you at all. Thank you, But but I say
- 42:45Speaker 1: that I feel that because these kids are like twenty whatever,
- 42:48Speaker 1: and if I had kids in my late twenties, they
- 42:51Speaker 1: could totally be my children. And I do. I have
- 42:53Speaker 1: said that in the past, they feel. I feel very
- 42:55Speaker 1: maternal towards everyone, even even Bob, even though Bob's older
- 43:00Speaker 1: than me. I'm just incredibly mature. I make it easy
- 43:04Speaker 1: a child. I feel the same way most the same way.
- 43:11Speaker 1: So you can come on any time, and before you go,
- 43:17Speaker 1: I have to see the ring. You flashed it flashed it.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Oh wow, that is beautiful. Thank you so much amazing.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Yes he did. I always told him. I was like,
- 43:31Speaker 1: just so you know, there's a lot to live up
- 43:33Speaker 1: to in the bachelor world as far as like proposals
- 43:36Speaker 1: or rings, Like just so you know, I'm happy to
- 43:41Speaker 1: even just have a happy relationship. That's what that's for.
- 43:44Speaker 1: The ring doesn't matter, the proposal doesn't matter. You can
- 43:47Speaker 1: do it in bed watching a movie. I don't care. Totally. Yeah, yeah,
- 43:52Speaker 1: he went above and beyond and it was the most
- 43:55Speaker 1: speckful thing and the most beautiful ring. That's gorgeous. And
- 44:00Speaker 1: your nails look on points. You were ready. I had to.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I've done afterwards because they were not done when I
- 44:12Speaker 1: love the glazed, the glaze, the dips, got the dip.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Bob knows more than me. Love it. Thank you, Claire.
- 44:25Speaker 1: We love you, Claire. Congratulations. So happy for you. Thank
- 44:28Speaker 1: you so much you guys. I love you guys too,
- 44:30Speaker 1: and I appreciate you guys just thinking about me, having
- 44:33Speaker 1: me on, it means a lot, of course, it means
- 44:36Speaker 1: a lot for you to come on. So thank you
- 44:38Speaker 1: and give Ryan a big hug for us for coming
- 44:40Speaker 1: and popping in because I know he was probably like,
- 44:44Speaker 1: why do I have to do this, but guy, he's
- 44:47Speaker 1: a tech guy. We need his help, ye to help.
- 44:51Speaker 1: He's not he doesn't want to hug the camera and
- 44:54Speaker 1: you know what, bonus bonus right don't? Yeah? Awesome, Thank
- 45:02Speaker 1: you Claire, so much love, so much love, and I
- 45:05Speaker 1: appreciate your having me on take care of Claire. Thanks
- 45:07Speaker 1: for coming by Claire. You had such great question her. Well, honestly,
- 45:17Speaker 1: it's like having a conversation with a girlfriend because she
- 45:19Speaker 1: is one of my girlfriends, you know, like we Actually
- 45:23Speaker 1: it's funny because I'm thinking about it now. I'm going
- 45:25Speaker 1: to go do this right now. On our bachelorette um
- 45:29Speaker 1: group chat, we usually say happy birthday to everybody, and
- 45:33Speaker 1: no one has come on and said congratulations on her
- 45:38Speaker 1: on her engagement. So I'm gonna go do that before
- 45:41Speaker 1: I actually forget. Definitely do that. But yeah, I just
- 45:46Speaker 1: love her and her attitude. I feel like, you know,
- 45:51Speaker 1: she said it, it's easy to get down about stuff,
- 45:55Speaker 1: especially when you've been through all the things and are
- 45:57Speaker 1: still going through, like especially with her mom that she's
- 46:00Speaker 1: been through, that she's going through, and to have that
- 46:03Speaker 1: positive attitude, I feel like it's just so mature and
- 46:07Speaker 1: so important, and you know, she's raving about Ryan. But
- 46:12Speaker 1: I have to say, Ryan, if you're listening to this Dawkins,
- 46:16Speaker 1: you have found a keeper to Oh no doubt beautiful.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I've always thought that about her since the first time
- 46:20Speaker 1: I met her. We just got along so well. She
- 46:22Speaker 1: was super cool. We had a great time together, and
- 46:25Speaker 1: she's obviously very beautiful and and you know, has done
- 46:27Speaker 1: a lot of her life as well. But I just
- 46:29Speaker 1: always really liked her spunkiness, like her attitude about stuff
- 46:33Speaker 1: and m and man, I mean from the second she
- 46:36Speaker 1: came on you, I mean, you see you just see
- 46:38Speaker 1: that that glow and and like she said, though, that
- 46:41Speaker 1: all comes from within. She got that before she even
- 46:43Speaker 1: met you know, Ryan again. And so that's just great
- 46:46Speaker 1: to see someone who you know is in the rights place.
- 46:49Speaker 1: You know, it's just so confident I could say that
- 46:51Speaker 1: confidently about her, you know. Agreed, agreed. So thank you.
- 46:57Speaker 1: So this has been another edition to almost famous the
- 47:00Speaker 1: O G S. Yeah, thanks for listening. Thanks for listening.
- 47:11Speaker 1: H
