- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Naughty Menage Show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it
- 0:18Speaker 1: is Thursday, which means our dear friend Mark Looper joins us. Hey, Loopy,
- 0:21Speaker 1: are you there? Loopy Lewis here. Hey, Rob. Hey, we
- 0:24Speaker 1: had a fun Monday night, so we were at an
- 0:26Speaker 1: event together, you, me, and Delaina, the three of us
- 0:28Speaker 1: in the same place. It was great, Gloria. Estefan was
- 0:31Speaker 1: the host. It was an amazing charity. We talked about
- 0:34Speaker 1: it here on the show, and Mark? Sitting right next
- 0:37Speaker 1: to us. It was fun to see you.
- 0:38Speaker 2: It was great to see you guys. And we enjoyed
- 0:40Speaker 2: a few glasses of wine and laughed and caught up.
- 0:42Speaker 1: We did enjoy a little bit. No more. Let's jump
- 0:45Speaker 1: into our show. What time is it, my friends? It
- 0:49Speaker 1: is tea time. Big exclusive at the top of the show.
- 0:52Speaker 1: So Megan Markle has exploded after her tea and Because
- 0:56Speaker 1: of a big mistake, and also too, she's struggling to
- 0:59Speaker 1: hire people in Britain. Let me explain. So Megan posted
- 1:02Speaker 1: a video. I thought it was a sweet video. It's
- 1:05Speaker 1: her and Lilibet making jam together. And it's the first
- 1:09Speaker 1: time we actually hear little Lilibet's voice. She asks, what
- 1:13Speaker 1: do you think, Lilibet? And she said, it's beautiful. It's very,
- 1:15Speaker 1: very sweet. However... Eagle-eyed, not just fans, anybody that watched
- 1:20Speaker 1: that video will notice the stove was not on. So
- 1:24Speaker 1: the jam was bubbling away, but the stove wasn't actually
- 1:28Speaker 1: turned on. There was no flame. So it's clearly staged.
- 1:32Speaker 1: This is a problem, particularly if people don't think you are.
- 1:37Speaker 1: authentic if you make a mistake once if Martha Stewart
- 1:40Speaker 1: makes a mistake we know she's the real deal we
- 1:42Speaker 1: really do Megan has to be careful because these little
- 1:45Speaker 1: things and they are little things they shouldn't happen and
- 1:48Speaker 1: her team I do have some defense here I wish
- 1:51Speaker 1: somebody on her team had helped had said something so
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'm hearing Megan exploded at her team but the real
- 1:57Speaker 1: reason she's furious is she's been trying to hire people
- 2:00Speaker 1: in Britain she hasn't really been that successful a couple
- 2:03Speaker 1: of things One is that Brits remember what it was
- 2:06Speaker 1: like working with her six years ago. And the horror
- 2:10Speaker 1: stories that have gone around London of working with Meghan.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And that's when Meghan was still part of the royal
- 2:16Speaker 1: family and somewhat restrained in how she could behave. When
- 2:19Speaker 1: you're part of that institution, you've got to play by
- 2:22Speaker 1: their rules. Well, now she's unleashed. Now Meghan can be Meghan.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And it is a lot. It must be very difficult, though,
- 2:29Speaker 1: trying to run a business from London. When I was
- 2:32Speaker 1: back in London a few weeks ago visiting my mum, Mark,
- 2:34Speaker 1: It was quite tricky checking in with New York. The
- 2:36Speaker 1: five-hour time difference was quite a lot. California's eight hours.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's almost a different day. So I do understand the
- 2:44Speaker 1: complications of doing business on different coasts, LA, London, New York.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It is tricky. But blaming your team here, I don't
- 2:53Speaker 1: know if that's a very good, smart move either. What
- 2:56Speaker 1: do you think?
- 2:56Speaker 2: No, it's not good or smart. And I think part
- 2:58Speaker 2: of the problem is that she is being interviewed by
- 3:02Speaker 2: these people. When she's interviewing someone to work for her,
- 3:05Speaker 2: they have to also look and say, do I want
- 3:07Speaker 2: to work for this person? And the people that she
- 3:09Speaker 2: probably wants to hire have options. They don't have to
- 3:12Speaker 2: take her as a client and they don't want the
- 3:14Speaker 2: headache and the drama that goes along with it. And
- 3:16Speaker 2: because so many people have left her team over the
- 3:19Speaker 2: last few years and so highly publicized, why would a
- 3:22Speaker 2: talented publicist get involved in this?
- 3:25Speaker 1: I think it's a real tell sign. When I interview
- 3:28Speaker 1: for a job when I post a job opportunity, I
- 3:31Speaker 1: have a ton of response. When I look at the team,
- 3:34Speaker 1: just on our little podcast, it's the five same co-hosts.
- 3:37Speaker 1: We've been here for five years now, chatting away. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: I think it's because it's a pleasant environment. It is.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It's a fun thing to do once a week. I
- 3:43Speaker 1: do it five times a week. You do it once
- 3:45Speaker 1: a week. It's fun for 20 minutes to gossip away
- 3:48Speaker 1: and to do this and practice our skills and connect
- 3:50Speaker 1: with the the noughties. I don't know what the upside
- 3:52Speaker 1: is of working with Meghan because you're not going to
- 3:55Speaker 1: get much access to the royal family because they're clearly
- 3:57Speaker 1: not part of that. So if you have fantasies of
- 3:59Speaker 1: hanging out with Catherine or the Queen or the King,
- 4:01Speaker 1: that ain't happening. You ain't going to go to the
- 4:03Speaker 1: Tower of London and look at the jewels with Meghan.
- 4:05Speaker 1: She's not going to be invited to that stuff. And
- 4:07Speaker 1: so if she has a reputation, which she just confirmed,
- 4:11Speaker 1: if she exploded at her team over this mistake, it
- 4:14Speaker 1: is embarrassing. It is a mistake. This is why you
- 4:17Speaker 1: have staff. And so I get her being upset about it.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I certainly would go to my team. I'd send a
- 4:24Speaker 1: pleasant email. But I'd say, we should have a little
- 4:26Speaker 1: chat about this because it's not working. I'm in the
- 4:28Speaker 1: UK making videos. All my team is in California. I
- 4:32Speaker 1: think somebody might have to move to Britain. Or maybe
- 4:36Speaker 1: we'll have to hire somebody in Britain. Or before we
- 4:38Speaker 1: post these videos, if she's emailing these videos, I don't
- 4:41Speaker 1: think she's posting them or editing them herself. If she's
- 4:44Speaker 1: emailing them to LA, there should be somebody on the
- 4:47Speaker 1: Zoom who says, Megan, we have to reshoot that. There's
- 4:50Speaker 1: no heat on that stove. You're literally cooking with no gas.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Which brings us to our poll question of the day.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Megan Markle has exploded at her USA team while struggling
- 5:01Speaker 1: to find a new team in the UK. What a
- 5:04Speaker 1: disaster this is. I, I, I, I, I, would you
- 5:08Speaker 1: work for the Duchess? If she called you now, I'm
- 5:12Speaker 1: a nosy person, Mark. So I would like a little
- 5:14Speaker 1: insight into this whole shenanigans. But would, do you want
- 5:19Speaker 1: a boss that screams and shouts? No, who wants a
- 5:22Speaker 1: difficult boss? Maybe if there's a ton of money, but
- 5:25Speaker 1: I don't think that's the case either. These two are
- 5:27Speaker 1: not flushing money. So would you work for the Duchess? Hey,
- 5:31Speaker 1: go vote on our X page, our Twitter page at
- 5:34Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rob, or our Facebook page, which is Naughty Gossip.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'll be sure. to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Lukes,
- 5:44Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 5:45Speaker 2: I have a very crazy story for you, Rob. Joe
- 5:48Speaker 2: Manganiello is claiming his ex, Sofia Vergara, ridiculed him during
- 5:52Speaker 2: his near-fatal health battle. Let me break this down. So
- 5:55Speaker 2: in his new memoir, Blonde Lines, it's called, the actor
- 5:58Speaker 2: says Vergara ridiculed him over his tiny dog bubbles when
- 6:02Speaker 2: we adopted while battling a devastating autoimmune illness and suicidal thoughts. Now,
- 6:07Speaker 2: Meginello says that Vergara refused to hug him, even when
- 6:10Speaker 2: he begged for affection while seriously ill. And the actor
- 6:14Speaker 2: says his seven-year health nightmare has included losing 60 pounds,
- 6:17Speaker 2: multiple procedures, and ER visits that have left him using
- 6:22Speaker 2: an astronomy bag.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Ooh. What do you think about this?
- 6:25Speaker 2: It's pretty bad.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a really, really devastating portrayal of Sofia Vergara.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm not sure I completely buy it. We know that
- 6:35Speaker 1: he might be saying that he... His wife ridiculed him.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Let me explain what happened when I made a joke
- 6:41Speaker 1: about Joe Manganiello. I was on the Today Show on
- 6:44Speaker 1: the fourth hour. It was Kathie Lee and Hoda. Every
- 6:48Speaker 1: story you do on those shows are pre-approved. They want
- 6:50Speaker 1: the visual to go along. They want the lower third
- 6:52Speaker 1: at the bottom of the screen. So we were doing
- 6:54Speaker 1: Sofia Vergara's birthday. There were some beautiful pictures on Instagram
- 6:57Speaker 1: of Sofia Vergara. It was her birthday. Joe was throwing
- 7:00Speaker 1: her a party. And we had beautiful cakes and it
- 7:02Speaker 1: looked very expensive in a very fabulous location. I can't
- 7:05Speaker 1: remember where, but it clearly was a luxurious party. It
- 7:08Speaker 1: wasn't you and me and a slice of cake, Mark.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It was a big deal. And I made a slight
- 7:13Speaker 1: little joke at the end saying, I wonder who picked
- 7:15Speaker 1: up the check. Well, his people went berserk. So they
- 7:22Speaker 1: can't have anybody ridicule him. But yet he's upset that Sophia...
- 7:27Speaker 1: Might have. And so it just makes me chuckle a
- 7:29Speaker 1: little bit here. He's very thin-skinned. A joke, which was
- 7:34Speaker 1: less than five words, on the fourth hour of today.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I mean, we're not talking about 60 minutes. This is
- 7:39Speaker 1: not major. Like, this wasn't a groundbreaking interview. This was
- 7:43Speaker 1: not the nightly news with David Muir. It was five
- 7:47Speaker 1: words on the fourth hour of a morning show sitting
- 7:50Speaker 1: next to Katharine Gifford. Like, calm down, everybody. That producer
- 7:54Speaker 1: took me out for a drink and a chat. scolded
- 7:58Speaker 1: me and it was because they were so upset that
- 8:01Speaker 1: joe's people were so nutty so joe if you're allowed
- 8:04Speaker 1: to tell stories about sophia about what happened to you
- 8:07Speaker 1: that i can tell stories about what happened to me
- 8:09Speaker 1: i'm team team sophia here she you know he never
- 8:12Speaker 1: mentions that in the book who paid the bills who
- 8:15Speaker 1: paid for that 20 million dollar house you lived in
- 8:17Speaker 1: for how many years i'm on team sophia here i
- 8:21Speaker 1: just like it okay moving along this made me chuckle
- 8:23Speaker 1: Kelly Ripper has banned her husband, handsome Mark Consuelos. He's
- 8:27Speaker 1: so dreamy, Mark, in person. He is. He is absolutely dreamy.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So when she dies, she's talking about a funeral, she
- 8:35Speaker 1: doesn't want him to dress her. This is funny. So
- 8:39Speaker 1: on their show, which I love, I watch it every day,
- 8:42Speaker 1: Kelly has already made her funeral plans and her husband, Mark,
- 8:45Speaker 1: has been given very specific instructions. Don't dress me. She
- 8:49Speaker 1: revealed that her longtime producer, Michael Gelman, can organise the funeral.
- 8:53Speaker 1: He knows how to produce. He knows how to organise things.
- 8:55Speaker 1: while her stylist will take care of her final look.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Kelly said, absolutely not, Mark. He said, can I dress you? No,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you can't. And her reason is he once dressed her
- 9:05Speaker 1: when she was unconscious in the emergency room. So we
- 9:08Speaker 1: don't know the details, but she was at the emergency
- 9:10Speaker 1: room and she woke up to green leopard soccer pants
- 9:14Speaker 1: and high heels. She said she's not going to do
- 9:17Speaker 1: that again. In fact, her assignment for the funeral is much,
- 9:21Speaker 1: much more simple. You can be there. That's what she said.
- 9:25Speaker 1: These are adorable. What do you think?
- 9:28Speaker 2: I love these two. And, you know, they have a
- 9:29Speaker 2: lot of fun together. And you can really tell they
- 9:31Speaker 2: love each other. I just read her memoir recently, the
- 9:34Speaker 2: audiobook version. You know, they don't have a problem poking
- 9:38Speaker 2: fun of themselves. They're in on the joke. And she's
- 9:42Speaker 2: just a funny person.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It makes it irresistible. Joe Manganiello, if you're listening, be
- 9:46Speaker 1: in on the joke. Like, you can, you can. They're really,
- 9:50Speaker 1: really in on the joke. Although I did have to
- 9:51Speaker 1: think about this. My mom was in her 90s and
- 9:54Speaker 1: When I went to visit her, my mom brought up
- 9:56Speaker 1: a funeral and she wanted to talk about the runner show.
- 9:58Speaker 1: She wanted to talk about the songs that she wanted.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And at first I cringed, Mark. I hated it. I
- 10:03Speaker 1: didn't want to have the conversation. I might've even shut
- 10:05Speaker 1: it down, but then I brought it up the next
- 10:07Speaker 1: day and we spoke about it. It's amazing that the
- 10:10Speaker 1: one thing I can guarantee every single human being is
- 10:15Speaker 1: going to experience, the one thing that we're all going
- 10:18Speaker 1: to experience is is death. We're all going to die.
- 10:21Speaker 1: If Queen Elizabeth can die, if Michael Jackson can die,
- 10:24Speaker 1: we are all going to die. It's a scientific fact.
- 10:28Speaker 1: None of us are living forever. Yet it is the
- 10:30Speaker 1: one subject we don't really talk about very much at all.
- 10:34Speaker 1: We don't mention it. We don't tell people what we want.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And I think maybe we should. I hope Kelly's going
- 10:39Speaker 1: to change some minds here. It's your last act. I'm
- 10:42Speaker 1: going to, oh, I want a big one, Mark. I
- 10:45Speaker 1: want the Whitney Houston Choir. Remember when Whitney died? Oh,
- 10:47Speaker 1: it was a fabulous choir. She had the big gospel choir. Oh,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I do. I want people weeping. None of this Dolly
- 10:53Speaker 1: Parton private stuff for me. No, no, no, no. I
- 10:56Speaker 1: want flowers. I want you weeping. I want you walking
- 10:59Speaker 1: behind my coffin. Oh, yes. And I want a live
- 11:02Speaker 1: podcast from the back of the church. Okay, moving along.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Diddy has suffered a big legal blow and it's going
- 11:08Speaker 1: to hit him where it hurts, in his pocket. What
- 11:11Speaker 1: am I talking about? Oh, yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 2: So a judge ordered the disgraced music mogul to pay
- 11:15Speaker 2: NBCUniversal nearly $ 500, 000 in attorney's fees after the company successfully
- 11:21Speaker 2: defended itself against his lawsuit over the documentary Diddy, The
- 11:24Speaker 2: Making of a Bad Boy. Now, NBC originally sought nearly
- 11:28Speaker 2: $ 1 million, but the judge slashed the bill, finding some
- 11:33Speaker 2: charges were excessive. Not good.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It's wild, isn't it? Because this is what really is
- 11:39Speaker 1: going to hurt Didi. Obviously, being in jail for three,
- 11:42Speaker 1: four years, that's not good either. I don't think he
- 11:44Speaker 1: is enjoying that, although some of the reports, he might
- 11:46Speaker 1: be enjoying it a little bit more than he should.
- 11:48Speaker 1: But this is where Didi gets nasty. I've worked with Didi.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Every month, we had to beg him to pay us.
- 11:55Speaker 1: The check wasn't just deposited. There were some times in
- 11:58Speaker 1: two or three months when Byam, my boss, would call
- 12:01Speaker 1: me and say, stop work. The whole team, just stop work.
- 12:04Speaker 1: If we don't get a pay, if we don't get
- 12:05Speaker 1: a check today... We're not doing this anymore. And they
- 12:07Speaker 1: had to rush over checks. Diddy's really, really cautious. This
- 12:11Speaker 1: is why he's so rich. It's wild, isn't it? All
- 12:13Speaker 1: the really, really rich people, they don't like to part
- 12:15Speaker 1: with their money, even when they're paying for services rendered.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Like we weren't stealing. We agreed a monthly fee and
- 12:22Speaker 1: he was meant to pay it in several months. He didn't.
- 12:24Speaker 1: He always caught up. But I think that was because
- 12:26Speaker 1: we threatened to fire him or to walk away. And
- 12:29Speaker 1: he valued PR. He valued marketing. But this does not
- 12:32Speaker 1: surprise me at all. And it's also, too, a real
- 12:35Speaker 1: lesson out there. Be careful with these lawsuits. Have you
- 12:38Speaker 1: had someone who said, I'm going to sue you. I'm
- 12:40Speaker 1: going to, a friend who you've upset or somebody, I'm
- 12:43Speaker 1: going to get you. Think about it long and hard.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Because if you have a frivolous suit, you're going to
- 12:50Speaker 1: end up paying the costs. I actually think that is
- 12:53Speaker 1: a good thing. It was frivolous. I watched this documentary.
- 12:56Speaker 1: It was accurate. From everything I know about Didi and
- 12:59Speaker 1: what I saw in the documentary, it was spot on.
- 13:02Speaker 1: It doesn't get passed through NBCUniversalLegal.com. unless it is spot on.
- 13:07Speaker 1: So I'm actually quite happy about this. OK, last story
- 13:10Speaker 1: before we go to break. Chet Hanks, that is Tom
- 13:14Speaker 1: Hanks and Rita Wilson's son, confronted Eric Andre in an
- 13:18Speaker 1: explosive showdown. So Chet didn't come to shake hands. He
- 13:22Speaker 1: came to settle a score. He's the outspoken son of
- 13:25Speaker 1: Tom Hanks and he was at Complex Con in Los
- 13:28Speaker 1: Angeles and he had a surprising encounter with the comedian
- 13:32Speaker 1: Eric Andre. Now, let's remember just a bit of detail here.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Chet was on the show in 2023. He appeared on
- 13:40Speaker 1: the Eric Andre show. And later, Eric Andre said he
- 13:44Speaker 1: was emotionally disturbed and he actually described the taping as dangerous.
- 13:49Speaker 1: So they've not seen each other since then. What's that, three,
- 13:51Speaker 1: four years? They bumped into each other at this event,
- 13:54Speaker 1: at this Comic-Con. What is it? This Complex-Con. And... Chet
- 14:00Speaker 1: went nuts. In fact, we've seen some video. Security ended
- 14:05Speaker 1: up pulling him away. What a bad look this is.
- 14:09Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 14:10Speaker 2: If I were Tom and Rita, I would be so embarrassed.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I would call him up and say, you need to
- 14:14Speaker 2: get over here now and we're going to have a
- 14:16Speaker 2: long discussion about your behavior. Because he keeps shaming the family,
- 14:19Speaker 2: like embarrassing the family.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's like, for what?
- 14:21Speaker 2: What is your problem?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Oh, he's 36 years old, so I don't know quite
- 14:25Speaker 1: what they can do with him. I must admit, I
- 14:28Speaker 1: was at the opening night of a play on Broadway,
- 14:31Speaker 1: just off Broadway, actually, and Tom Hanks was in the play.
- 14:34Speaker 1: And so Rita was there with her son. And intermission,
- 14:38Speaker 1: the son left. His own dad's opening night. He walked out.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It wasn't a very good play. Nevertheless, Meryl Streep was there.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Steve Martin was there. Martin Short was there. Rita Wilson
- 14:55Speaker 1: was there. And he walks out and he has a
- 14:58Speaker 1: really good seat. He's not sitting at the back. If
- 15:01Speaker 1: I slipped out, nobody would notice. I'm right at the back.
- 15:03Speaker 1: He was in one of the family seats. And I
- 15:05Speaker 1: thought it was such a rude thing. What could he
- 15:07Speaker 1: possibly have on his schedule that was more important than
- 15:11Speaker 1: watching his dad's opening night? He did an hour. He
- 15:14Speaker 1: had one more hour to go. It wasn't a great play.
- 15:17Speaker 1: You shut up and you watch it. He left it intermission.
- 15:20Speaker 1: So I don't think this family has any control over him.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And I don't think he has any respect for his family. Okay,
- 15:25Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:27Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty But Nice
- 15:31Speaker 1: Show of Your Hairs talk show with our dear friend
- 15:32Speaker 1: Mark Lupo. Hey, Lupi, let's get to the polls. Last
- 15:36Speaker 1: show we talked about Harry and Meghan are getting closer
- 15:38Speaker 1: to actually revealing Archie and Lilibet's face. I'm told they're
- 15:42Speaker 1: going to issue a Christmas card this year. And how
- 15:44Speaker 1: weird would that be? If it was the four of
- 15:46Speaker 1: them and two faces, it would not be a good
- 15:48Speaker 1: Christmas card. So I think they're going to do this.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You know, let's be honest. The most famous family in
- 15:52Speaker 1: the world is Catherine and William. And they release a
- 15:54Speaker 1: card every year with their children on it. We know
- 15:57Speaker 1: what Suri Cruise looks like. We know what Shiloh looks like.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We know what Beyonce's kids look like. So just because
- 16:02Speaker 1: we know what kids look like, that doesn't necessarily put
- 16:05Speaker 1: them at security risk. And so I'm told at Christmas,
- 16:09Speaker 1: we're going to finally get that card. Are you excited?
- 16:11Speaker 1: Are you excited to see the kids' faces? 60% said yes.
- 16:15Speaker 1: So even people who are not fans of Harry and Meghan,
- 16:18Speaker 1: and I know we have a lot of those people listening,
- 16:20Speaker 1: even those people, some of them are excited to see.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I love baby pictures. If a friend of mine has
- 16:25Speaker 1: a baby... A relative. I can't wait to see pictures.
- 16:28Speaker 1: So I'm really excited about this one. Hey, don't forget
- 16:30Speaker 1: to vote on today's poll. Go to our X page,
- 16:33Speaker 1: our Twitter page, at Naughty Nice Rob. Our Facebook page
- 16:37Speaker 1: is Naughty Gossip. And be sure to check back tomorrow
- 16:41Speaker 1: to hear your results. And now it's time for the
- 16:45Speaker 1: nicest of the day.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Oh, well, he's back. Travis Kelsey is spilling on his
- 16:52Speaker 2: romantic Taylor Swift birthday dinner. But he's keeping one detail
- 16:55Speaker 2: to himself, Rob.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Let me explain.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So the NFL star celebrated trading 37 with Swift at
- 17:01Speaker 2: a Manhattan hotspot revealing on his new Heights podcast, the
- 17:04Speaker 2: staff brought up in an arsenal of desserts. He said
- 17:06Speaker 2: it was a good day, a fun day, and he
- 17:08Speaker 2: got to hang with Tay. But when his brother pressed
- 17:11Speaker 2: about him at the gifts, he quickly shut it down
- 17:14Speaker 2: and said, keep it moving.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Hmm. Well, I think the brother's been a little bit naughty.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I don't think he's talking about jewellery. I think he's
- 17:21Speaker 1: talking about what they might have done later that night
- 17:23Speaker 1: together in lieu. And he's the impression I got. And
- 17:26Speaker 1: he's not going to get into if he had a
- 17:28Speaker 1: birthday kiss and a cuddle, but he did have a
- 17:30Speaker 1: great dessert, many of them. I like this. I like
- 17:33Speaker 1: when they talk about each other. They're really good at
- 17:36Speaker 1: letting us in but keeping us out. I think the
- 17:38Speaker 1: balance of these two is really, really sweet. Happy birthday.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And now our naughtiest of the day, naughty, naughty, naughty
- 17:44Speaker 1: and exclusive we have. Dolly Parton's nephew is still getting
- 17:47Speaker 1: paid from her estate despite being fired. So Dolly Parton's nephew, Brian,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you saw him announce that she had died. He's been fired,
- 17:55Speaker 1: but the weekly checks haven't stopped. So despite being removed
- 18:00Speaker 1: from the late legend's estate, he was the head of security.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Brian is still receiving money from that estate. There are
- 18:07Speaker 1: some really serious allegations about him, his behaviour. his emails,
- 18:12Speaker 1: his anger, and yet he still wants to be paid.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I think, I fear, this is what it's all about.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I think it's all about money. And Dolly had hundreds
- 18:21Speaker 1: of millions of dollars, and this would absolutely break her heart. Okay,
- 18:27Speaker 1: it's time for a moment of Rob. You gotta Rob,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you gotta Rob, you gotta Rob. Three ways to be happier.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Happier isn't something you find. It's something that you have
- 18:36Speaker 1: to practice. So first, stop complaining. Someone will always have
- 18:40Speaker 1: more money. More success, more followers on social media. But
- 18:43Speaker 1: their life has nothing to do with yours. So stop complaining. Second,
- 18:47Speaker 1: protect your peace. Not every argument deserves your attention. Not
- 18:51Speaker 1: every invitation deserves a yes. Learn to walk away from
- 18:55Speaker 1: people and situations that drain you. And third, most importantly,
- 18:58Speaker 1: we've been talking about this for a few days. Notice
- 19:01Speaker 1: what already is good. The coffee in the morning, the friends,
- 19:04Speaker 1: the podcast you're listening to, your walk home, people that
- 19:07Speaker 1: make you laugh. A happier life. isn't necessarily a bigger life.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Sometimes it's simply noticing how much happiness there already is.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Notice the happiness in your life. Hey, that is it
- 19:22Speaker 1: for today. Thank you so much for listening to Naughty
- 19:25Speaker 1: But Nice with Rob and Mark Sherwood, a production of
- 19:27Speaker 1: Elvis Duran and iHeartRadio. Check out my sub stack, robshooter.substack.com.
- 19:33Speaker 1: My new novel, Queen Elizabeth III, is available for pre-order
- 19:36Speaker 1: right now. And we've started a YouTube channel. Eventually, Mark
- 19:41Speaker 1: and the co-hosts are going to be joining me at
- 19:42Speaker 1: the moment. It's me each morning, nine o'clock doing a
- 19:45Speaker 1: 20 minute show. Please check us out, subscribe and like,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and tell your friends and remember all together. Now that
- 19:52Speaker 1: was a lot of promotion. I don't know if I
- 19:58Speaker 1: can do all those three. Focus on the YouTube. If
- 20:01Speaker 1: you want to do me a favor, follow me on YouTube,
- 20:04Speaker 1: like my YouTube, subscribe. And remember, remember, if you're going
- 20:10Speaker 1: to be naughty, you got to be nice. Take care, everybody.
