- 1:13Speaker 1: little you know, she was happy, she was smiling. I
- 1:15Speaker 1: was over at the eight Sushi Spot. I want to
- 1:17Speaker 1: recommend that that place. It's very very good. We should
- 1:21Speaker 1: have double dated. Yeah, waiting to go No I was
- 1:25Speaker 1: going to work. Okay, you left h that. It sounds weird,
- 1:32Speaker 1: but it's not. He was on the way to work. Okay, Grace,
- 1:34Speaker 1: she had a good weekend. Babies, good weekend. Babies is good.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Everybody back to school, back in motion. Everything cool, that's
- 1:39Speaker 1: awesome and going. So how did you lose your voice?
- 1:42Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I did a lot. I went
- 1:44Speaker 1: to the St. John listening party that I want to
- 1:48Speaker 1: so that is really dope. Um. I had the honor
- 1:50Speaker 1: of meeting him last year, so this was really cool.
- 1:52Speaker 1: But he actually wrote Brown Skin Girls for Beyonce, which
- 1:56Speaker 1: is like crazy. So there were some really dope, powerful
- 1:58Speaker 1: people at the listen party. And then you know, two
- 2:01Speaker 1: Chains had like the relaunch. I guess um it been
- 2:05Speaker 1: and proper. That was really fun. And then I kicked
- 2:07Speaker 1: it with Tallashi and and Ta, Mitch and Caesar for
- 2:10Speaker 1: the rest of the weekend. That's that's probably what why
- 2:12Speaker 1: my voices we were sipping on all that weekend, screaming
- 2:19Speaker 1: keep up on. It's been a long weekend. Brother, I
- 2:23Speaker 1: understand how you feel. Keep them on. Okay, that's why
- 2:26Speaker 1: mine is on this time too. Okay, you participate, Yes,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I did. We got a lot here on these with
- 2:32Speaker 1: things called them birds. Literally, you could bar hop, you
- 2:37Speaker 1: could restaurant hop. I would say this though to you,
- 2:41Speaker 1: I agree. The way you can move around on it,
- 2:43Speaker 1: it's so much to doing it Lanta. It's so many restaurants,
- 2:47Speaker 1: so many bars, so much lifestyle. I'm loving it. Imagine
- 2:49Speaker 1: like riding on the belt line and like restaurant hopping.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Like have an advertiser here, advertiser. They're like, that's my
- 2:56Speaker 1: things that James were super dumb schools. We all in lane, buddy,
- 3:01Speaker 1: there's let me tell you Kenny Burns. Whenever I go
- 3:04Speaker 1: to the James room, I get my old fashioned with
- 3:06Speaker 1: Uncle Nears. I requested. It's very good the United States
- 3:11Speaker 1: with the key shirt you got on over there. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: want to say this. Speaking of St. John, he has
- 3:18Speaker 1: a record. He has a record with Lenny. He calls
- 3:22Speaker 1: himself gett Lenny. Yes, he has a record with Lenny Kravitz.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'll play it for you before we lee. When I
- 3:27Speaker 1: tell you he wrote the record first of all. And
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know Lenny's a you know, super legend o G
- 3:33Speaker 1: spiritual rock star. Right he sung another man's lyrics. But
- 3:36Speaker 1: when I tell you sound he wrote it for him.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I really like called borders. I'm playing it for you
- 3:41Speaker 1: loud this ship before we leave, before we got in
- 3:45Speaker 1: trouble for any viewing him on the radio. But of
- 3:47Speaker 1: course always she's always putting out there. Yea yeah. One
- 3:53Speaker 1: thing he said that really set out to me, um
- 3:55Speaker 1: Kenny was I asked him, we asked where I was from.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I said Atlanta, and I said where are you from?
- 4:00Speaker 1: As he mentioned on the mic, like it's good to
- 4:01Speaker 1: be home, and so he said, I'm actually from Brooklyn,
- 4:04Speaker 1: but anywhere that are black people, I'm home. I was like, damn,
- 4:07Speaker 1: this guy is going to and I felt it though,
- 4:09Speaker 1: like like it wasn't like he just said it, like
- 4:11Speaker 1: I really felt it. And his merch game is better
- 4:14Speaker 1: than anybody's. I'm talking, he's smoking Kanye's merch game. I'm
- 4:18Speaker 1: saying it on the record. His merch game. He just showed.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I have obviously the old stuff I wore that night
- 4:23Speaker 1: we did Cardi B and I had on the Virgils,
- 4:26Speaker 1: the ones that got step had that that's that's his.
- 4:33Speaker 1: That's his old merch that y'all see on the screen.
- 4:34Speaker 1: But the ones that are coming, I mean, he has
- 4:37Speaker 1: motorcycle Jack. You know, his whole thing is kind of
- 4:39Speaker 1: hells angel but man, and he always has two black
- 4:42Speaker 1: girls with him, not like two black girls. I just
- 4:45Speaker 1: loved he put on the thing and he had he
- 4:50Speaker 1: had his own personal motor So like, right, yeah, that
- 4:53Speaker 1: was dope. That was dope. That was dope, man, That
- 4:55Speaker 1: that was That was dope. So my week was in
- 4:58Speaker 1: incredible y'all. Actually was actually in l a Wood Big
- 5:02Speaker 1: in St. John. I got a chance to listen to it.
- 5:04Speaker 1: That's when I first heard the Lenny Kravit song. And
- 5:06Speaker 1: then I you know, I had these meetings and I
- 5:08Speaker 1: just want to say, when I talk about y'all and
- 5:10Speaker 1: these means, I'll be proud, Like I'll be proud man,
- 5:13Speaker 1: y'all are really doing y'all thing. And when I'm you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I just always expect when I go into these meetings
- 5:18Speaker 1: because there's so much trash on television. They want our
- 5:22Speaker 1: show to be tracked like just super goss, to be
- 5:24Speaker 1: super reckless saying that we have a show. I'm just
- 5:27Speaker 1: saying that's happening in your favor. But you know, it's
- 5:30Speaker 1: just it's amazing when people see the vision. You know
- 5:33Speaker 1: what what I'm saying, because everything ain't fucked up and
- 5:36Speaker 1: ratchet motherfucker's could be whole and bring shipped back to
- 5:39Speaker 1: a three sixty degree point where we see each other's
- 5:42Speaker 1: point of views, you know what I'm saying. And speaking
- 5:44Speaker 1: of that, it's time for in case you missed it
- 5:53Speaker 1: full effect you, I'm going to just bypass all the
- 5:55Speaker 1: alright news to get some very important news. Jay Z
- 5:58Speaker 1: is under fire, y'all, and there's a lot of people
- 6:01Speaker 1: coming forth with, um, you know, their feelings on what
- 6:05Speaker 1: this man did actually sent you guys, and I add
- 6:08Speaker 1: that Jamil Hill did which is very interesting if you
- 6:12Speaker 1: read the whole thing, right, Um, I think it was.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You know, when I first got the article, it was like, Yo,
- 6:16Speaker 1: Jamil Hill's going on? Until what's going on? I kind
- 6:19Speaker 1: of read it. So she did acknowledge the things he's done.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So for the song, but there was a tone of disappointment,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and I want to talk to y'all and talk to
- 6:26Speaker 1: ball the nation. What is going on and what don't
- 6:29Speaker 1: you see? I think it's a toll and more sol
- 6:32Speaker 1: of concern, right because if we're talking about like history,
- 6:35Speaker 1: there are there have been plenty of people like us
- 6:39Speaker 1: like minorities, black people that have used stuff like this
- 6:43Speaker 1: for their personal game, Like it's happened. We We've had
- 6:45Speaker 1: several sellouts that had great not no, not saying that,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I'm just saying that people are familiar to what they're
- 6:54Speaker 1: familiar with, Like I mean, plenty of times people have
- 6:58Speaker 1: jumped ship and kept the rest of us down. So
- 7:01Speaker 1: I don't know, if I don't know, I'm confused by
- 7:03Speaker 1: I'm I'm honest. I just feel like it's it's it's
- 7:06Speaker 1: it's a cultural thing that we do to each other.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Where it could be if you're at the Holy Grail status,
- 7:12Speaker 1: they want to shoot you down. They want to tear
- 7:14Speaker 1: down all your concerns. And let's back up for a second.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I mean, we're talking about jay Z, who you know
- 7:20Speaker 1: has warned the Kaepernick jersey. I'm saying that, we're talking
- 7:23Speaker 1: about how he's put it in his songs, how he's
- 7:26Speaker 1: gone against the NFL and his songs. We're talking about
- 7:29Speaker 1: him stopping concerts to actually talk about why we are
- 7:33Speaker 1: kneeling and what the learing represents with the fist and
- 7:35Speaker 1: there so forth the song. We're talking about a man
- 7:37Speaker 1: who has supported Meek Mill and has started criminal justice
- 7:41Speaker 1: reform on another planet. We're talking on a man who
- 7:44Speaker 1: pays you know, legal fees. You know what I'm saying.
- 7:48Speaker 1: He did the Caliph documentary from the Brakersil, he did
- 7:53Speaker 1: the other documentaries on bat. I mean, you have to
- 7:56Speaker 1: first before you start tearing a man at this caliber down,
- 8:00Speaker 1: you have to first look at what he and his
- 8:01Speaker 1: wife have done for the community. That's one. And on
- 8:04Speaker 1: the surface, it's just natural for people to get scared
- 8:09Speaker 1: or defensive when they don't understand something. It's just a
- 8:12Speaker 1: natural feeling. And time will tell what's happened or what's
- 8:17Speaker 1: going to happen. You know, we can't say it's good
- 8:20Speaker 1: or bad right now. It's on the surface, we don't
- 8:22Speaker 1: really know. Well we know we know we know that
- 8:24Speaker 1: he didn't all the way include Colin Kaepernick, and that
- 8:27Speaker 1: seems to be what everybody's issue is because Colin started
- 8:31Speaker 1: the movement by the protests, right, I mean, he said
- 8:34Speaker 1: the center of attention in anything regarding this matter with
- 8:39Speaker 1: the NFL, and well, I think he is, but I
- 8:40Speaker 1: think he also settled with the NFL. If I'm not
- 8:44Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken, right, I mean, you took money from
- 8:47Speaker 1: an organization, who wronged who wronged you, there's no question
- 8:51Speaker 1: whether they're wronged, and but you took money from them
- 8:53Speaker 1: after all of this, Right, and then you have someone
- 8:56Speaker 1: as powerful as jay Z come into the fold with
- 8:59Speaker 1: the understand and and that he supports you. Right, it
- 9:02Speaker 1: should be common knowledge that Okay, well he might be
- 9:05Speaker 1: better at business than I am. The question is would
- 9:08Speaker 1: you want someone at the table speaking on your behalf
- 9:12Speaker 1: or are you looking at like he's an opportunist. He
- 9:15Speaker 1: just wants to buy the Jets. That's that, And that's
- 9:17Speaker 1: where I think it boils down to, especially to your point,
- 9:20Speaker 1: it wasn't clear the first day what was going on.
- 9:22Speaker 1: A couple of days later it came out, think he's
- 9:24Speaker 1: going to be a minority owner in the Jets, which
- 9:27Speaker 1: could potentially turn towards majority owner. Would you not see
- 9:30Speaker 1: that tactic in support that or would you continue to hate? Yeah?
- 9:33Speaker 1: I think sometimes you have to maybe make a deal
- 9:37Speaker 1: with somebody that you don't really necessarily want to work
- 9:39Speaker 1: with or thought that you would work with to you know,
- 9:41Speaker 1: get to the next spot. But I think where we
- 9:44Speaker 1: are right now, like we need a leader that's going
- 9:46Speaker 1: to like communicate and educate us because it's scary. It's
- 9:50Speaker 1: scary to think that someone like him communicate properly. No,
- 9:54Speaker 1: I don't. But unless you like, if you if you notice,
- 9:58Speaker 1: he always comes in a very discreet, perfect opportunity. I
- 10:05Speaker 1: don't think. I don't think people need discreet right now.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I think people need clear and precise and to be
- 10:10Speaker 1: something that he's not. Okay, But I also say I
- 10:12Speaker 1: can also say this in wartime, right, when you're going
- 10:15Speaker 1: to war, there are codes of war, like there are
- 10:18Speaker 1: regions you can bomb, there are things you I mean,
- 10:20Speaker 1: they're different codes, right, Sometimes you gotta send in the
- 10:23Speaker 1: seals that nobody sees coming and effectively make change. And
- 10:29Speaker 1: the thing, God, this is what I want to say.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So he made a statement in the meeting with Roger
- 10:34Speaker 1: Goodell that's getting a lot of feedback and a lot
- 10:36Speaker 1: of pushback, and he said, we are past kneeling right.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So as as a black man, right, you know what
- 10:44Speaker 1: I'm saying to a witness to the sixties. I did
- 10:47Speaker 1: not experience the sixties. I'm not that, but I've witnessed
- 10:51Speaker 1: history in the disregard to humans, black human beings right,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and the way that we've been treated, the way we've
- 10:58Speaker 1: been discarding so forth and song and kneeling was a
- 11:02Speaker 1: part of protests in certain instances, right, but then it
- 11:05Speaker 1: became a time you stand tall and you you know
- 11:07Speaker 1: what I'm saying you you you get active, and I
- 11:09Speaker 1: think that he said, and there are a bunch of
- 11:11Speaker 1: times that you know, there's time, there's a need for action. Now,
- 11:13Speaker 1: we can keep kneeling, but y'all is still playing football exactly.
- 11:19Speaker 1: We made the statement you still you're still taking that check,
- 11:24Speaker 1: You still playing football, and you're still and and let's
- 11:27Speaker 1: let's take it back even further. If we were to
- 11:30Speaker 1: stop participating in all the you know, structures of business,
- 11:35Speaker 1: whether it be in business economically, you know, financial, whatever,
- 11:39Speaker 1: if we stopped participating in basketball, football, just then the
- 11:42Speaker 1: third Yes, we are the majority black and brown is
- 11:44Speaker 1: the majority in these sports. But we stopped, we're going
- 11:48Speaker 1: We're going to take our players and go start our own.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Do you know how far and how long that journey
- 11:55Speaker 1: would be? Do you know how far and long it
- 11:57Speaker 1: would take us to get to where the NFL is.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And you can say, okay, cool, well we could do it.
- 12:02Speaker 1: We can take our dollar, okay with Zion should go
- 12:04Speaker 1: to black college. You saw the guy Christmas. It is
- 12:10Speaker 1: a great point in the college diaspora. But what you're
- 12:13Speaker 1: talking about the NFL, You're not just gonna tear the
- 12:17Speaker 1: NFL down in one sitting. You're gonna the best thing
- 12:20Speaker 1: you could do is infiltrate the NFL. Those and let's
- 12:24Speaker 1: let's talk about this. They're all eighty, every owner is seventy.
- 12:29Speaker 1: They're on the way out. Their kids don't think like them.
- 12:32Speaker 1: So if you could get somebody in the mix that
- 12:34Speaker 1: speaks the culture, and then we're talking about culture, we're
- 12:36Speaker 1: talking about popular culture. Hip hop runs the world. Black
- 12:40Speaker 1: culture always influences the world. So I'm just saying, I
- 12:43Speaker 1: just think it's it's it's unfortunate when we have players
- 12:48Speaker 1: like Eric Reid. We love him. That is Colin Kaepernick's
- 12:52Speaker 1: right hand man. What you are doing for injustice will
- 12:55Speaker 1: go down in history. But change has to happen by
- 12:58Speaker 1: people being in the mix and can effectively do it.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Y'all not making change by continuing continuing because you want
- 13:04Speaker 1: to protest, don't play football. Every black person that's in
- 13:08Speaker 1: the NFL. Stop playing for what you can't do that,
- 13:10Speaker 1: stop watching it, stop going on tour. You can't do it.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Can't you stop? No, I mean it's it's I think
- 13:16Speaker 1: anybody can. But I just think it's a matter of Okay,
- 13:19Speaker 1: this is a dream, this is the way that I
- 13:21Speaker 1: support my family. But like going back to the college thing,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I do think that would have been official KNDy because
- 13:26Speaker 1: if all of the money is now going to HBCUs
- 13:29Speaker 1: like we can use that funding to help us infortrate.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I think it's great. Started the NFL. Yeah, no, no, no,
- 13:37Speaker 1: like start start with the colleges because the main thing
- 13:39Speaker 1: is we need money. We need to have the financial
- 13:42Speaker 1: power to to really infiltrate the way that we want.
- 13:44Speaker 1: So I thought it was a great point for all
- 13:47Speaker 1: these you know, African American athletes to go to HBC.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You saw I made that point, and it's an absolutely
- 13:53Speaker 1: fact if we could, that's how you effectively make change.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And the only thing is it's like a double as sward.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It's like, you know, people want to dog jay Z
- 14:01Speaker 1: for making this move. Not one time did he not
- 14:04Speaker 1: represent Colin Kaepernick in his movement in the meeting, not
- 14:07Speaker 1: one time? And what was aired and what was amplified.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Still even though he said, you know, he said in
- 14:14Speaker 1: our quote we are we pass kneeling past Kneeling means
- 14:18Speaker 1: like you continue to play football, you're kneeling in the protesting. Yes,
- 14:24Speaker 1: so if you can continue to play football and get
- 14:26Speaker 1: paid and Neil do so. But I'm past it. I
- 14:29Speaker 1: want to own a team so that I can get
- 14:31Speaker 1: at this table with these old, waspy white people and
- 14:35Speaker 1: make effective change. Now we're not doing that. You if
- 14:39Speaker 1: you took New York as a market and you own
- 14:43Speaker 1: the Jets, it's it's lights out I for you. Forget
- 14:48Speaker 1: this pump part two. Look at how jay Z looks
- 14:52Speaker 1: he in there with the nappy ship. He love it.
- 14:57Speaker 1: But that's why we don't know like the result, That's
- 15:00Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You know, we only know what the
- 15:03Speaker 1: media is showing us so far. But we should be
- 15:05Speaker 1: We should be better for towards our people with your
- 15:09Speaker 1: body of work now too point earlier is then plenty
- 15:11Speaker 1: of coom out here shocking and driving and doing ship
- 15:15Speaker 1: for money and game. We know a lot of them,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and we still celebrate them. But you take a person
- 15:20Speaker 1: like him who's done it. Yeah, I just don't think
- 15:22Speaker 1: we should just get upset or mad right now when
- 15:25Speaker 1: we don't even know they grow up. Wait, just like
- 15:29Speaker 1: when y'all was trying to tell me to give Kanye
- 15:31Speaker 1: a chance, Let's give jay Z a chance about getting
- 15:38Speaker 1: on Kanye, anybody that you're going off, he didn't say
- 15:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And I like the point you're making
- 15:49Speaker 1: about Kanye, because even Kanye, he fucking was with Trump
- 15:53Speaker 1: taking pictures and tib But my point is it's like
- 15:59Speaker 1: it's the same thing, but body of work. Kanye does
- 16:02Speaker 1: not have his body or what I'm saying, or his background.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I mean, although Kim and him had such such free
- 16:11Speaker 1: I think they actually had something. No, I'm not giving
- 16:15Speaker 1: them cool. Say, anyone who can affect change for our people,
- 16:19Speaker 1: we gotta use them how we can use them. We
- 16:23Speaker 1: can't continue to say Kanye is not a ally. If
- 16:26Speaker 1: if black folk is getting released from prison, if things
- 16:30Speaker 1: are happening for our people, we gotta use it. Yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 1: but like you, you can still be a really good
- 16:36Speaker 1: person and do fuck up ship like Kanye has done anything.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Fucked up besides where the Maga hat if he choose
- 16:43Speaker 1: I think I just said besides the Maga hat. But
- 16:51Speaker 1: my point, my point is that is fucked up. I
- 16:55Speaker 1: just said that. But getting that motherfucker woman free, or
- 16:58Speaker 1: doing anything for them, you know, criminal injustice that's going on,
- 17:01Speaker 1: or anything he can do to help further the cause.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I'm not saying he's the fucking face for it. I'm
- 17:06Speaker 1: just saying we quick were quick to put my fucker's
- 17:08Speaker 1: in boxing. I think Kanye's best used for his artist
- 17:12Speaker 1: For this j Z thing, no I was. I was
- 17:15Speaker 1: just saying that was getting on me bad. He was
- 17:19Speaker 1: going going in on jay Z. Let's weigh and see
- 17:22Speaker 1: because everybody was like killing me in the comments. Let's
- 17:25Speaker 1: see what Kanye's plan is for Trump my nigger? Where
- 17:30Speaker 1: you are now, trolls, what's going on now? But I'm
- 17:35Speaker 1: saying Kanye is best used and served for his artistry,
- 17:38Speaker 1: like his sneaker and his taste and clothing. That ship.
- 17:41Speaker 1: He can affect change that over there, Bro, he had
- 17:44Speaker 1: that bag had on lately. Um. But yeah, so that's
- 17:47Speaker 1: I think that's you know, So let's let's finish it
- 17:49Speaker 1: up and bringing three six. Do you think what should
- 17:51Speaker 1: happen going forward and how should people treat Jay in
- 17:55Speaker 1: this situation? Tommy is everything We're gonna see what So
- 17:59Speaker 1: do you think he's tripping I don't know. You know,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'm just sitting back and watching Agreed. I mean, I
- 18:09Speaker 1: can't say that he's tripping because I don't know the
- 18:11Speaker 1: agenda yet. You know, so we'll we're just honestly, guy,
- 18:14Speaker 1: we really will just see it, see happens. I'm waiting
- 18:17Speaker 1: to see. I know he's smart, though he's not stupid. Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I don't. There's no way to see from me. I
- 18:24Speaker 1: think what he's doing is was needed for culture. I
- 18:26Speaker 1: think we need an actual physical seat at the table.
- 18:29Speaker 1: And with all the amazing work that Cap has done,
- 18:32Speaker 1: with all the awareness he's brought the criminal injustice with
- 18:34Speaker 1: rig Reed and other players that are still continue to need,
- 18:37Speaker 1: we need that too. But I think it's I think
- 18:40Speaker 1: he is now in position to be the you know
- 18:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But look, this is nothing change on
- 18:47Speaker 1: the ownership side, because that's the only way we're gonna
- 18:49Speaker 1: affect the game. If he was to be becoming a
- 18:52Speaker 1: minority owner owner or whatever, you think he really supposed
- 18:55Speaker 1: to tell everybody, Yeah, I'm gonna become an owner on
- 18:57Speaker 1: a higher cabinet. My nigga. Let the man get the
- 18:59Speaker 1: job for if Captain get paid, Listen, if Cat did
- 19:05Speaker 1: not get paid by the NFL after this. If he
- 19:08Speaker 1: didn't come to a settlement with I think he probably
- 19:11Speaker 1: you know, I don't know if he would have got
- 19:13Speaker 1: a job, but I don't. It was it was it
- 19:16Speaker 1: was to the point of like not fixing. It's like
- 19:18Speaker 1: being in a fight with your boss, you know what
- 19:20Speaker 1: I'm saying. Like, regardless of the situation, if you don't
- 19:23Speaker 1: like your boss and you got a problem with your boss,
- 19:25Speaker 1: your boss is gonna let you. Let you go. Now,
- 19:28Speaker 1: was he supposed to be fired for fucking standing up
- 19:31Speaker 1: for criminal injustice? No, absolutely not. But however the black
- 19:35Speaker 1: ball went down, that's something that he Yeah, I mean clearly,
- 19:39Speaker 1: but that's something that we, like you said, we don't
- 19:42Speaker 1: we're not behind closed doors. We don't know everything that
- 19:45Speaker 1: went on and was said on. Now, he was never
- 19:48Speaker 1: supposed to go backwards on what he believed in and
- 19:50Speaker 1: what he was fighting for. Colin was never supposed to
- 19:52Speaker 1: and that's that was his destiny in that situation. But
- 19:56Speaker 1: you can't say that all these black people that still
- 20:00Speaker 1: continuously want to get in the NFL should be fighting
- 20:03Speaker 1: the system. They should be fighting to get ownership so
- 20:06Speaker 1: they are not in controlled by these people or controlled
- 20:10Speaker 1: by these people. That's the problem. You have no representation
- 20:13Speaker 1: in the front office, none, coaches don't have no power.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Motherfucker these owners. These people are in their seventies again,
- 20:21Speaker 1: they're old, their waspy, their mentality is green more than
- 20:25Speaker 1: any color, and they're on their way out. It's just fat.
- 20:30Speaker 1: So I just I want people to be more thoughtful
- 20:32Speaker 1: because when people are like Jay Z and his wife
- 20:35Speaker 1: beyonest because you got up them together. I mean, they've
- 20:37Speaker 1: done so much for culture and continue to, you know, exemplify.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I think we are hoping for the very best. You know,
- 20:44Speaker 1: we're just gonna see what happens. Yeah, I know, but
- 20:47Speaker 1: see but that's my whole problem though. I can't get
- 20:49Speaker 1: past this and go to fucking baller mail because I
- 20:52Speaker 1: just we as a we as a people, wait and
- 20:55Speaker 1: see what the plan the plan is there. He had
- 21:01Speaker 1: a meeting to strengthen race relationships with the NFL that
- 21:06Speaker 1: turned into an opportunity for him to be a minority
- 21:09Speaker 1: owner in the He's already doing something. That's what he's done.
- 21:16Speaker 1: It's what he's done. How can you how can you
- 21:18Speaker 1: say you want to wait and see what he's gonna do?
- 21:20Speaker 1: As if he's not gonna represent black people that that's
- 21:22Speaker 1: that's what it sounds like. No, I'm saying this is
- 21:25Speaker 1: a questionable that's an uncomfortable thing, like like this is
- 21:29Speaker 1: just a very complex layered thing. So now like it's
- 21:32Speaker 1: not that we doubt what past. It's j your knowledge
- 21:35Speaker 1: of jay Z. Your your knowledge of jay Z. If
- 21:39Speaker 1: he's going to run for president of the United States,
- 21:42Speaker 1: you're gonna hold him account for each thing he does
- 21:44Speaker 1: as it happens, but you're gonna put him in office
- 21:46Speaker 1: because of his beliefs and what you believe he could do.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And I am I not correct, correct, But my thing is,
- 21:52Speaker 1: this is me speaking for me. My thing is nation.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's some things that he has said,
- 22:02Speaker 1: and I know that he has a plan. I'm just
- 22:04Speaker 1: excited to see what the plan is because he has
- 22:06Speaker 1: my trust. But I'm still kind of like, okay, you know,
- 22:11Speaker 1: because becoming an owner is a responsibility, my nigga, Like
- 22:14Speaker 1: that ain't like who you got the job, my nigga,
- 22:17Speaker 1: Like that's what's up what you're gonna do with the
- 22:20Speaker 1: job though, that's my thing, Like, but this ain't the
- 22:23Speaker 1: presidency of the United States. Team but it's chair to
- 22:26Speaker 1: black folk and give them equal opportunity versus the cattle
- 22:31Speaker 1: business that is run now by the white motherfucker's That's
- 22:33Speaker 1: what based off of based off of not see he
- 22:35Speaker 1: was on the same side for a second, but based
- 22:37Speaker 1: off of how this is playing out, and you know
- 22:41Speaker 1: he's so he's so uh media savvy. Jay Z is
- 22:47Speaker 1: very media savvy. He doesn't say the right or wrong thing.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Sometimes he'll say something and let everyone else talk about
- 22:54Speaker 1: like what we're doing right now, and then when he
- 22:57Speaker 1: actually has his plan and the unraveled, we're gonna talk
- 23:00Speaker 1: about it again. So I mean, I'm sid you're saying, well,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I want to wait and see what he's willing to
- 23:07Speaker 1: what ultimately is is it he's he's going to be
- 23:09Speaker 1: an owner? Is that what it is that's setting stone?
- 23:14Speaker 1: That's already out, that that's out, that it's on the table. Okay,
- 23:19Speaker 1: so that's for sure we know that for a fact
- 23:22Speaker 1: that he's gonna be owing on. What I'm saying is
- 23:29Speaker 1: I don't know what he what what's setting stone. I
- 23:32Speaker 1: don't know what's coming. You don't know the rollout of
- 23:34Speaker 1: what's happening. We just know I just know he has.
- 23:37Speaker 1: He hasn't said specifically anything. He has commentary. They asked
- 23:44Speaker 1: some questions, he'll answer it in a way. He's very
- 23:47Speaker 1: He's not like you, able to said a whole bunch
- 23:50Speaker 1: of other Ship. I'm not trying to compare to you.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm just saying Jay Z is very swift and very smart.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Very Uh. I can't, I can't grab the word, but
- 23:59Speaker 1: he knows what and what not to say to put him. Yeah,
- 24:03Speaker 1: he's very strategic in his and how he speaks especially.
- 24:08Speaker 1: That's why again my thing is, I think the plan
- 24:11Speaker 1: is I know the language of a billionaire. I can
- 24:15Speaker 1: put myself in that in that packet that very few people.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, I think, is the only other person that's
- 24:22Speaker 1: in that billionaire talk. And I'm talking about Open, but
- 24:25Speaker 1: Open is not only a sports team, right. We got
- 24:27Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's i think usher with the Cleveland's minority, but
- 24:33Speaker 1: it's very few African Americans in that packet that can
- 24:36Speaker 1: speak that language. That's a language that none of us
- 24:38Speaker 1: understand or even you know, no been around a few billionaires,
- 24:42Speaker 1: but Ship, I don't know the language. Okay, he speaks
- 24:45Speaker 1: that languge absolutely and I agree with I agree with that.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I am saying, let's take it back to brass texs.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Remember Jackie Robinson, You remember like when a black man
- 24:55Speaker 1: entered the MLB or whatever. Correct, right, what's gonna happen?
- 25:01Speaker 1: And it's happening because there's no black ownership and all
- 25:04Speaker 1: I'm saying, you're saying, so, you're saying, so, then jay Z,
- 25:08Speaker 1: then maybe did he comes down? No? No, But my
- 25:10Speaker 1: point is, and I'm not equating it to Jackie Robinson.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm equating it to you have a black man in
- 25:15Speaker 1: a space where he has not been and that that
- 25:18Speaker 1: that's that's fortitude enough, that's applause worthy enough to get
- 25:23Speaker 1: to be able to be at the table in that
- 25:25Speaker 1: way at the table. That's what I'm saying. And we
- 25:29Speaker 1: as as as a black man, right married, I mean,
- 25:34Speaker 1: this is the dream like seeing with him and Beyonce
- 25:36Speaker 1: doing on multiple levels. And we've talked about every scenario
- 25:39Speaker 1: with Beyonce and what she's doing and how she sets
- 25:41Speaker 1: up her deal. I'm just saying, like a black man
- 25:43Speaker 1: at the table, white people, I'm happy he's at the table,
- 25:47Speaker 1: you know, And I'm justs and I just hope for
- 25:52Speaker 1: the very best going forward. Okay, well, listen, I respect
- 25:55Speaker 1: your opinion. I just don't know what else he could
- 25:58Speaker 1: do besides being a black man in room for the
- 26:00Speaker 1: white motherfucker's as an owner. I mean, he can get it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I just don't know what else he could do. I mean,
- 26:06Speaker 1: if it was Martin, if it was if it was nineteen,
- 26:09Speaker 1: whatever it was, when Jackie Robinson became a member of
- 26:12Speaker 1: the Brooklyn Dodgers, then it would have been a whole
- 26:16Speaker 1: Oh my god, we've made and that's I don't expect
- 26:19Speaker 1: people to look at or put him on. Who said
- 26:22Speaker 1: that guy somebody said looking at him like a god.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm curious to see, like how the halftime shows are
- 26:26Speaker 1: gonna happen, Like the artists that had previously declined. I
- 26:29Speaker 1: wonder like if they're just gonna do it now because
- 26:32Speaker 1: jay Z is a is a part of it. You
- 26:33Speaker 1: know that Main Dupre was told by j he shouldn't
- 26:39Speaker 1: do it um when he was here in Atlanta this
- 26:41Speaker 1: past year, based on obviously everything that was happening at
- 26:45Speaker 1: the time. Well, I'm sure that's going to change now
- 26:47Speaker 1: that he's in it. He's going to invite he may
- 26:50Speaker 1: invite certain people to come out, all right, now's side
- 26:54Speaker 1: for Bawler manage. I saw you comment on this baller
- 26:58Speaker 1: mail and I I wonder, and I wanted, I'm definitely
- 27:05Speaker 1: going to have you get the first crack my man,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and my man is in jail, and I started to
- 27:14Speaker 1: like someone else. I've been with my man for eleven years.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I'm twenty six. We went through breakups as teens, but
- 27:21Speaker 1: got married when I was twenty three. He's in jail now,
- 27:28Speaker 1: and I've got this guy that has been a friend,
- 27:31Speaker 1: and we've been talking every time I'm we've been talking,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and every time I've been around him, I feel undeniable chemistry.
- 27:38Speaker 1: She's married, By the way, I've always been the backbone
- 27:44Speaker 1: and been the one to handle things when they get rough,
- 27:46Speaker 1: and sometimes I get tired of it. I want to
- 27:48Speaker 1: know what it feels like to be spoiled and have
- 27:51Speaker 1: a man that leads and get things done. I know
- 27:55Speaker 1: my man would give me the world if he could,
- 27:58Speaker 1: but I don't know if he will ever be a too.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I know it's not right, but I really can't fake
- 28:04Speaker 1: when I'm feeling what should I do? Should I wait
- 28:06Speaker 1: it out because she's married and see and explore? Oh?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Should I wait it out in jail. Yes, should I
- 28:15Speaker 1: wait it out? Or should she explore? How long she
- 28:19Speaker 1: feels like she didn't put that with the other guy?
- 28:22Speaker 1: What should I do? Solo? I know exactly put on
- 28:28Speaker 1: screen season explorer Sis explore, I meant that, Susan. Let
- 28:35Speaker 1: me tell you why. Let me tell you why. She
- 28:36Speaker 1: gave a lot of context clues in that short, but
- 28:41Speaker 1: she said, she said, I've always been the one, like
- 28:44Speaker 1: the backbone. I've always been the one to get us
- 28:47Speaker 1: out of whatever rough situations. And the man is in jail.
- 28:51Speaker 1: He's clearly a child or just a really bad criminal,
- 28:55Speaker 1: like made a mistake, wrong place at wrong time. I
- 29:00Speaker 1: think he's a bad criminal. And I think that he
- 29:04Speaker 1: is not the man that she feels like she deserves
- 29:07Speaker 1: to be with. She wants to be with somebody that
- 29:08Speaker 1: she can lean on. She tried to put money on
- 29:10Speaker 1: his books. She's tired of telling that man, like even
- 29:13Speaker 1: even when he was free, they got married. They're married
- 29:19Speaker 1: under the under the eyes of the divorce is a
- 29:22Speaker 1: real thing. It happens all the time. She going and
- 29:24Speaker 1: get a divorce while he's locked up. Yeah, I think
- 29:27Speaker 1: maybe get a divorce and if that's too difficult, like
- 29:32Speaker 1: figure it out a business, figure out business. Yeah, it's
- 29:36Speaker 1: like listen, good, listen. She she she gave a lot
- 29:40Speaker 1: of clues that let me know that's not the man
- 29:43Speaker 1: that she wants to be with. All right, baby, this
- 29:46Speaker 1: Ferrari speaking. Am trying to get that divorce done as
- 29:50Speaker 1: soon as possible. If you're doing all that and he
- 29:53Speaker 1: get out and he finds out and sou just said,
- 29:57Speaker 1: he's probably a criminal in the criminal is probably off
- 30:01Speaker 1: just bad. I meant bad, like he's just dumb, like
- 30:05Speaker 1: just just probably just a really in love and get married.
- 30:15Speaker 1: And if you hit somebody tap into his own to
- 30:17Speaker 1: his porridge, you know things, don't let nobody in their porridge.
- 30:21Speaker 1: He gonna get rid of whoever was dipping in that
- 30:23Speaker 1: porridge and go right back to jail like a dumb ass. Yeah,
- 30:26Speaker 1: you ain't gonna have that person that was dipping in
- 30:28Speaker 1: that port. You have to find somebody else. That chemistry
- 30:32Speaker 1: gonna be all the way off again. What what y'all say?
- 30:34Speaker 1: What should she do? That way? It's cleaning free. You
- 30:40Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to worry about, no repercussion, and he
- 30:42Speaker 1: still might be mad up off the dress and play
- 30:45Speaker 1: helicopter all that okay, questions question. Let's let's say someone's
- 30:51Speaker 1: trying to get a divorce right and it takes forever.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Is that person not allowed to date during the getting
- 30:59Speaker 1: the divorce? After? Don't you file? You illegally separate? Cool?
- 31:03Speaker 1: There you go, says, go ahead and file and don't understate.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I want to know how it was he it was?
- 31:13Speaker 1: Is he the kind of criminal that Sue said? I
- 31:15Speaker 1: just want I need to know. Is a federal is
- 31:18Speaker 1: coming home? Petty? Time for you to maybe fix the situation.
- 31:22Speaker 1: These are questions, did you have to be the backbone
- 31:26Speaker 1: of the family making all the tough decisions because he
- 31:29Speaker 1: was selling nickel and dimes? Like do I want to know? Like?
- 31:32Speaker 1: Like what type of I want to know? I want
- 31:34Speaker 1: to know. It seems like he got maybe five five
- 31:37Speaker 1: ten years. That's what it seemed like. That's accurate because
- 31:39Speaker 1: if it's a year. But she sounds kind of worried
- 31:41Speaker 1: about him coming home, so it might you know what
- 31:43Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like it sounds like she was worried at all.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I mean, not like she thought like it's a potential
- 31:50Speaker 1: of him coming home getting in her mix. I think
- 31:52Speaker 1: she's more so concerned about you know her marriage vows
- 31:55Speaker 1: like a look like to homeboy, and it's not been nothing.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It makes me something I don't know, you know, No,
- 32:04Speaker 1: I just think she's questioning because she got she did
- 32:06Speaker 1: get married, you know what I'm saying. I don't think
- 32:07Speaker 1: it's an easy decision for her, which is why she,
- 32:10Speaker 1: you know, sent in the baller mail. I think she's
- 32:12Speaker 1: just I'm not sure she's she's debating. She's like, damn
- 32:15Speaker 1: would I'd be doing the wrong thing. Am I going
- 32:17Speaker 1: to regret this? Because I am married? But at the
- 32:20Speaker 1: same time, I want a man that I can lean on,
- 32:24Speaker 1: Like it's a debate. So if you're feeling that way,
- 32:28Speaker 1: but you don't get that, divorce rather he can't. All right,
- 32:36Speaker 1: now it's time for coming creeping. Oh my little she's
- 32:43Speaker 1: just gonna find something else, all right. So there's been
- 32:47Speaker 1: so much stuff going on. You know, We've got some
- 32:49Speaker 1: infamous Atlianta rappers that have been going back and forth.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And I ain't gonna go into too much detail about it.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Y'all can look it up yourselves. But why F m
- 32:57Speaker 1: lucy went on Instagram live and they dropped you know,
- 33:00Speaker 1: some people women that he may have had some sexual
- 33:04Speaker 1: relations with and one of them was was Jericho, who
- 33:07Speaker 1: was young thuggas lady. Wait wait wait wait wait wait waite,
- 33:10Speaker 1: that's what he said, that's what he said on the live. However,
- 33:13Speaker 1: she responded to it very dangerous. She responded and said,
- 33:18Speaker 1: how the funk you keep saying a female's name but
- 33:21Speaker 1: don't get at no nigger. How you got a whole,
- 33:24Speaker 1: beautiful girlfriend, but she's so comfortable saying somebody else's name.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I tolerate zero disrespect. And since you want to engage
- 33:31Speaker 1: in whole activity because you're scary, I'm gonna get at
- 33:35Speaker 1: your bitch. Bringing a woman into a man's fight is
- 33:39Speaker 1: clown activity, especially a bit you have had you have
- 33:43Speaker 1: or had zero dealings with. Sit the funk down or
- 33:47Speaker 1: man up and handle your business. Imagine someone speaking on
- 33:50Speaker 1: your name that you never fucked. Imagine being harassed year
- 33:53Speaker 1: by year by a nigga that has no comeback, so
- 33:56Speaker 1: he taunts a female. This is everything Jericho had. It
- 34:02Speaker 1: is very dangerous and not at all he don't and
- 34:07Speaker 1: me being cool with both parties, especially my party cool
- 34:13Speaker 1: the no comment, He's just gonna push the mike all
- 34:16Speaker 1: away that I feel you, I feel you. What I
- 34:20Speaker 1: will say, is you know, goddamn Mike over there, Paul,
- 34:23Speaker 1: it's bother nation, is you know? I feel like they're
- 34:27Speaker 1: kind of torn. Like I'm going through the comments and
- 34:28Speaker 1: people are kind of torn. They're like, yeah, it's whack,
- 34:30Speaker 1: Like even if you did have her, Like why I
- 34:34Speaker 1: speak on it? Like what are you trying to do?
- 34:36Speaker 1: Like the beef is already so bad. We don't want
- 34:38Speaker 1: to see anything serious happened to either one of them.
- 34:42Speaker 1: You don't want to see that. I agree, Like they
- 34:44Speaker 1: just do not realize the repercussions that they acted. People
- 34:47Speaker 1: are here stupid. I'm not saying either one of them
- 34:50Speaker 1: going to do anything in particular. I'm just saying the
