- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
- 0:20Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Dolores Catania.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Guess who's going to be wearing your shades tomorrow, but
- 0:28Speaker 2: my own?
- 0:31Speaker 1: You? Yeah.
- 0:32Speaker 2: You want to know why?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I'm getting an upper bleph today.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Oh, that's so fun. Oh, my God. I'm so excited
- 0:42Speaker 1: for you. I know.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I'll be fine tomorrow, right?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Paul, just so you know, Paul got an upper and
- 0:49Speaker 1: lower bleph and was on Jeff Lewis the next day. Perfect.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Because people are trying to make me nervous by sending
- 0:55Speaker 2: me these by people. I mean, Matt. sending me videos
- 0:59Speaker 2: of people recovering from this. And I'm like, there's not
- 1:02Speaker 2: going to be recovery. I'm podcasting the next day. I'm
- 1:05Speaker 2: going to wear the glasses. And then I'm going to
- 1:07Speaker 2: go to immunotherapy on Wednesday. And then on Thursday, you know,
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm going to get the stitches out. And then Friday,
- 1:13Speaker 2: I'll go with Slate to the horse show. It'll be fine.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Who's doing it?
- 1:17Speaker 2: The same person that did my lower neck lift. Dr.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Sharmla Sunder. Oh, I know.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You have a nice lower neck. Really nice. When did
- 1:26Speaker 1: you get it done? Like, six years ago, I think.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Let me tell you a lot better before I gained
- 1:32Speaker 2: a bunch of weight, but.
- 1:33Speaker 1: You're very pretty. You're really, really pretty.
- 1:36Speaker 2: You're really pretty too, Dolores. Can we talk about your trip?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Because it got us all in a fight about if
- 1:41Speaker 2: you were in Africa or South Africa.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I was in South Africa. I was in Cape Town. Okay.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And then I went to another place not far from there.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And yeah, so the wedding was so beautiful. It was beautiful.
- 2:00Speaker 1: When we showed up, there was the welcome party. I
- 2:04Speaker 1: was shot, like totally shot, 15 hours, plane ride, straight.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. And you went straight to the wedding festivities?
- 2:12Speaker 1: I did. I didn't look the best.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I'm sure it looked great.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah. So beautiful bride and groom, the nicest people. They're,
- 2:24Speaker 1: So they're friends with my friends. I became friends with
- 2:27Speaker 1: them and I just liked them so much. And their
- 2:31Speaker 1: wedding day was unreal. So Monique and Carl, congratulations. When
- 2:37Speaker 1: you showed up to where they were having the wedding,
- 2:40Speaker 1: it was in the middle of a field overlooking mountains,
- 2:44Speaker 1: the African mountains, flowers everywhere. everywhere. The flowers looked fake.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You had to actually get in. I argued with someone
- 2:52Speaker 1: that they were real. They thought they were fake. That's
- 2:54Speaker 1: how nice they were. I touched all the flowers and
- 2:59Speaker 1: there was a gospel choir.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 3:03Speaker 1: But not just any gospel choir. They belonged on America's
- 3:07Speaker 1: Got Talent. And it just like wrecked you when you
- 3:10Speaker 1: were sitting there listening. They were so good. They were amazing.
- 3:17Speaker 2: And how many people are at this wedding?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Like 125.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That's a big wedding for the big travel.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah. So his family is they're Congolese. Women are beautiful.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And her family is Latinos from Miami. I can't wait
- 3:30Speaker 1: to see what these kids look like.
- 3:32Speaker 2: They're going to be beautiful.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah. And they had a huge after party with the
- 3:38Speaker 1: silent disco. That's a big thing in Africa. Last time
- 3:41Speaker 1: I was there, they had it, too.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool. Oh, I've never done a silent disco,
- 3:46Speaker 2: but I see it and I think about how awkwardly
- 3:49Speaker 2: I would be dancing at it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And that's what the beauty of it is. Last time
- 3:54Speaker 1: I was staying in a much different place. I was
- 3:56Speaker 1: literally in the bush of the Africa Kruger National Park,
- 4:01Speaker 1: like chasing wild animals to save them. So, yeah, this
- 4:05Speaker 1: was a different trip, but it was amazing. And getting
- 4:08Speaker 1: back to you, there's nothing better than getting plastic surgery procedures.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Sunrise guys, by the way. I mean, I've done a few.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I mean, I just love my week so much. It's
- 4:21Speaker 2: just spruced up my immunotherapy on Wednesday a ton.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Girl. Get it done.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Like for you.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I was like, it's not.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Going to be every day that somebody offers to do this. No.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You know what, though? I'm going to tell you good. Well,
- 4:37Speaker 1: that's the thing. Your neck is beautiful.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Did you have any flight issues such as Selma Blair?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Not. I did not beat up the flight attendant.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Did you bite anyone?
- 4:49Speaker 1: What's going on? What is going on? I have bit
- 4:52Speaker 1: somebody at one time, yes. You have?
- 4:56Speaker 2: On camera or off camera?
- 4:57Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about it because then I
- 4:58Speaker 1: get in trouble. Okay. More than once.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Well, I guess what Selma Blair did allegedly is she
- 5:06Speaker 2: was on a plane. You know, she has medical conditions.
- 5:09Speaker 2: But she started flipping out. Selma Blair.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Tell me what she did again, what she's known for.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Did you see Cruel Intentions? No. One, you need to
- 5:22Speaker 2: watch that movie. It's so good from the 90s. But
- 5:25Speaker 2: she was in a bunch of 90s movies. And then
- 5:28Speaker 2: she was in Legally Blonde.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Oh, got it.
- 5:30Speaker 2: One that was all preppy.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Which also I just learned that preppy means something else.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Did you know that? Preppy doesn't mean like collared shirt
- 5:39Speaker 2: and khakis like I thought it meant.
- 5:42Speaker 1: What does it mean?
- 5:43Speaker 2: My kids didn't really tell me. They're like, Mom, I
- 5:47Speaker 2: can't believe you called Callie's husband preppy to his face.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And I'm like, what do you mean?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Oh, no. Can you let me in? Because I need
- 5:55Speaker 1: to learn. Although I don't want anyone mad at me for. anything.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So I mean, I thought preppy like that's a compliment.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I went to a prep school. All the kids I
- 6:03Speaker 2: grew up were.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Probably the rich kids. The preppy kids growing up for
- 6:07Speaker 1: me were the rich kids.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Well, I'm not saying I wasn't. I know.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm sure I certainly wasn't.
- 6:15Speaker 2: But I preppy was just like you went to a
- 6:18Speaker 2: prep school. You look you look.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:22Speaker 1: What's it mean if it doesn't mean that it's an
- 6:25Speaker 1: it's like It's like they showed me pictures, which doesn't
- 6:29Speaker 1: really explain it. But they showed me pictures of like
- 6:32Speaker 1: try hard girls, which I don't know really what that
- 6:34Speaker 1: means either. Oh, God, I need to talk to Slate
- 6:38Speaker 1: because I need to talk.
- 6:40Speaker 2: We need to have because also I was told I
- 6:42Speaker 2: was mogging the other night at Slate's birthday.
- 6:46Speaker 1: What does mogging mean? The girls look like they had
- 6:48Speaker 1: a great time.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Mogging apparently means you show up to try to look
- 6:52Speaker 2: better than everybody else.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Like you at your daughter's wedding.
- 6:58Speaker 2: That's a freaking compliment. You wore a white dress.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I was mogging Nicole at the wedding. Is that how
- 7:07Speaker 1: you put it in context?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you were mogging her.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So wait, so you were being a tryout? You were mogging?
- 7:13Speaker 2: No, it's different. Preppy is try hard. Mogging is just like,
- 7:17Speaker 2: so on the way over there, I have to Uber
- 7:20Speaker 2: cause we're meeting Edwin and I met Edwin's girlfriend.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Okay. Nice.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It's been a year and a half. Never met her.
- 7:26Speaker 2: She was really great. Really funny. It was easy, effortless. Good.
- 7:30Speaker 1: That's the way it should be. You know, I like
- 7:31Speaker 1: those things. Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 2: So that was really good. Slate had 25 girls there
- 7:36Speaker 2: at her birthday. I saw, um, And on the way over,
- 7:40Speaker 2: it was Slate, one of her friends, and Cruz in
- 7:43Speaker 2: the car. And Cruz goes, Mom, let's take a mog
- 7:45Speaker 2: shot since you look pretty. And I go, I don't
- 7:47Speaker 2: know what that means. He goes, look back. And I
- 7:49Speaker 2: went like this and like turned my head and did
- 7:52Speaker 2: like one of those like Ben Stiller poses. And he goes,
- 7:58Speaker 2: that is exactly mogging. And he was like, I'm going
- 8:00Speaker 2: to send you the picture right now.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Oh, he's so cute. He sounds like he likes you
- 8:05Speaker 1: right now.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Well, he's in a lot of trouble right now, so
- 8:08Speaker 2: he should like me right now.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Oh, he's kissing your ass. Uh-huh. I knew there was
- 8:11Speaker 1: something behind this conversation.
- 8:12Speaker 2: There's phones turned in at 8 right now.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Why?
- 8:14Speaker 2: He's gotten a little prank calling incident at school.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 8:20Speaker 2: So now all phones in at 8 p.m. into my room.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Oh, listen.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I learned the hard way you have to tell them
- 8:27Speaker 2: to turn off the phones.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So I was like dead asleep and it's like, I'm like,
- 8:36Speaker 2: why did I make this rule?
- 8:40Speaker 1: That is so funny. It's not easy, Teddy.
- 8:43Speaker 2: It's not easy, but it's happening. But let's, let's get
- 8:49Speaker 2: into the episode.
- 8:51Speaker 1: By the way, you looked really good on the episode.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm not telling you this for any reason. You just
- 8:57Speaker 1: are so pretty.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You are so pretty. Thank you so much, but not
- 9:02Speaker 2: true because I went back. I got a whole new
- 9:05Speaker 2: haircut because of how my hair looked in the back.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Like now it's all like, I don't know. It doesn't
- 9:14Speaker 2: look good right now.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Nothing's worse than when you see the back of a
- 9:19Speaker 1: housewife's head and her extensions are sticking out.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Well, my extensions weren't, but my black roots were and
- 9:26Speaker 2: my mushroom haircut and like.
- 9:28Speaker 1: No, it was fine. Ugh. You looked really pretty. And
- 9:33Speaker 1: you also looked like you were enjoying it really a lot.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Like a lot. You got right in there.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I wasn't going to take any steps back.
- 9:42Speaker 1: You took no steps back. And then I loved your
- 9:45Speaker 1: face when Shannon was like, well, she needs a storyline.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You go.
- 9:53Speaker 2: We'll get to it. We'll get to it.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Let me tell you. They all stuck. We'll get to it.
- 9:58Speaker 1: They all stuck up for. they Carmela jumped right in there, too.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I love they turned on.
- 10:07Speaker 2: They didn't even show him.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Stop.
- 10:10Speaker 2: He was there the whole time standing behind us.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I thought they broke up.
- 10:13Speaker 2: No, he was there.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You know why you do this so well that you
- 10:17Speaker 1: made me think of him last night? I don't know why.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You know, my mind goes all these different places. I
- 10:22Speaker 1: think sometimes wrong because it went there. And I thought
- 10:25Speaker 1: that he reminded me of my friend when she broke
- 10:27Speaker 1: her jaw during softball and she had to get it
- 10:29Speaker 1: wired shut. Back in the day, they used to wire
- 10:34Speaker 1: your jaw. I don't know if they still do it
- 10:35Speaker 1: like that. But that's how she was talking until she
- 10:38Speaker 1: went and cut it herself.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Remember there was a girl from the real world who
- 10:41Speaker 2: wired her mouth shut because she wanted to lose weight. Well,
- 10:44Speaker 2: that will be our next.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I promise you that's my next thing, but it wouldn't
- 10:49Speaker 1: work anyway.
- 10:50Speaker 2: How would you get the food in?
- 10:52Speaker 1: It doesn't matter whether I eat or not. I don't
- 10:55Speaker 1: lose weight. Not to mention my brother's bringing over hot
- 10:58Speaker 1: dogs right now and he made me soup. My brother,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I love him so much. She's the love of my life.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Hot dogs and soup sounds pretty amazing.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I know that's such a diet, but. Every time I
- 11:06Speaker 1: come home from another place, my brother's waiting for me
- 11:09Speaker 1: with food. He's so, oh my God.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Well, they had me, I love, well, I love your brother,
- 11:15Speaker 2: but also they told me I had to eat. I
- 11:17Speaker 2: thought like one, I would be going under or something.
- 11:20Speaker 2: They're like, no, you, you're like in cancer treatment. You
- 11:22Speaker 2: can't be like going under.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You're just, you don't have to go under for that.
- 11:27Speaker 2: They're like, you're going to be awake. But the only
- 11:28Speaker 2: thing we do need is for you to eat right before.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So I had to pack myself a peanut butter and
- 11:33Speaker 2: jelly sandwich.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I don't know if that's what they meant by eating right.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You need more protein. It's all about the protein.
- 11:40Speaker 2: They didn't say eating right. They said just eating.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Oh, oh, that's different. I'd be at McDonald's. Are you
- 11:46Speaker 1: taking Arnica?
- 11:48Speaker 2: I'm taking prednisone, an antibiotic.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And you're supposed to be taking Arnica so you don't bruise.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Okay, so we're back at Tamara's Viena party and Heather
- 12:12Speaker 2: and Alexis are still going at it. Heather says, if
- 12:15Speaker 2: you want to come into my world and give me
- 12:17Speaker 2: a look, then go.
- 12:18Speaker 1: We still weren't sure if she gave her a look yet.
- 12:21Speaker 2: But also, is she saying that like if you want
- 12:24Speaker 2: to be on the television show, try to get on it?
- 12:26Speaker 2: Was that like a get on the television show dig?
- 12:28Speaker 2: Or was that what? What else did she mean? If
- 12:30Speaker 2: you want to come into my.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I don't know. It was not the welcoming party. Absolutely not.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Alexis was not welcome there. Well, to be honest and
- 12:42Speaker 1: to be fair, Teddy, I have to say that I
- 12:45Speaker 1: do appreciate the camaraderie between the girls and. standing with Shannon.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I do too, but we haven't even gone there yet
- 12:54Speaker 2: because we have Joe and Tamara and Heather and everybody
- 12:58Speaker 2: out front. We do. I didn't even realize all this
- 13:01Speaker 2: was happening.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Oh, what were you doing?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Just living my best life inside eating Cheetos.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Were we missing anybody else?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Joe De La Rosa was out there with them.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Was... Was anybody else doing anything on the inside? No.
- 13:16Speaker 2: You know what happened on the outside? No, on the inside,
- 13:18Speaker 2: I was just being introduced to.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Why didn't you... Did you met him?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yes, I met him.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Did he talk like this?
- 13:25Speaker 2: Tell me.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yes, he did. What's your vibe? Because you're a very
- 13:28Speaker 1: good judge of character.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I knew right away that he was a problem.
- 13:33Speaker 1: A problem? Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Like, he was super nice to me, but I worried
- 13:37Speaker 2: for her.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Really?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I don't worry for Carmela. Everybody's misunderstanding. Carmela is no
- 13:45Speaker 1: wilting flower.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Well, I know, but I still don't like anyone to
- 13:49Speaker 2: dick her over.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Nobody's dicking Carmela over. I'm not worried about her.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Heather walks back in and she fills the other women in.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Alexis says that, what does this mean? Says to Tamara.
- 14:02Speaker 2: She took me to task. I took her to task.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And then Joe goes, I don't know what that means.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Nobody knew what it meant. I've heard it in my life.
- 14:13Speaker 1: But by very few people. It's not the way we
- 14:18Speaker 1: would talk. Took her to task means she gave her
- 14:20Speaker 1: a piece of her mind, I want to say.
- 14:22Speaker 2: But she was crying and Heather seemed unbothered.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Heather was so unbothered. And Alexis was a nervous wreck.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Alexis should have never come to this. But I am
- 14:33Speaker 1: glad she did because it was entertaining for me, this
- 14:35Speaker 1: whole thing.
- 14:37Speaker 2: But I do think the dig must have been come
- 14:39Speaker 2: back to the show if you're going to come back
- 14:40Speaker 2: and fight. Yeah. Which.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. If she came back to
- 14:45Speaker 1: this show, they would destroy her. They are biting at
- 14:50Speaker 1: the bit to get their hands on her. And that
- 14:52Speaker 1: would be a unified thing. It would be Alexis against
- 14:56Speaker 1: the world. Yeah. They were gunning for her.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Then Alexis decides to go back in. Not a good,
- 15:16Speaker 2: not a good plan.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Well, you told her. Yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:18Speaker 1: We'll get there.
- 15:18Speaker 2: But yeah, Heather and Heather pulls their side. Meanwhile, Emily,
- 15:23Speaker 2: Shannon and Tamara eating Cheetos. Don't worry. I was probably
- 15:27Speaker 2: right there with them because by the time they come
- 15:29Speaker 2: back to talk to me, I spit up a Cheeto.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I saw it come out on camera. I would be
- 15:35Speaker 1: right next to you. Give me some chips and dip
- 15:38Speaker 1: and I'm not leaving that table.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Um john jansen walks by and says gross like he
- 15:45Speaker 2: didn't say it about the eaters he said it about
- 15:46Speaker 2: the cheetos but still.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Well if you don't like him then you don't have
- 15:51Speaker 1: to eat them but like i don't want to hear
- 15:54Speaker 1: that they're gross i don't want to hear that they're
- 15:56Speaker 1: gross as there is there other food there i didn't
- 15:59Speaker 1: see there was but it was inside you guys don't
- 16:01Speaker 1: have food like we.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Have food It was all inside. So like we would
- 16:05Speaker 2: have had to leave the action and go inside to
- 16:08Speaker 2: get the food. There was a there was like a
- 16:10Speaker 2: munchie table.
- 16:11Speaker 1: What's a munchie table?
- 16:13Speaker 2: Outside was like chips and.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Oh, got it. Got it. Candies.
- 16:16Speaker 2: And that's where the bar was. And then inside.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Oh, like when you smoke weed and you get the munchies. Yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I got it. Yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Doritos.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I would be there. I I'm over.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You get it because like being a CBD.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Got it. Got it.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah. It was a nice party. Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It was fun. It was fun. But then Alexis is
- 16:37Speaker 2: still pissed at Heather for telling Shannon that John heard
- 16:41Speaker 2: the crash in 2024 when that wasn't her information to disclose.
- 16:47Speaker 2: So when John Jansen and Shannon were having and allegedly
- 16:51Speaker 2: having an argument at his house, Shannon left.
- 16:55Speaker 1: So they were still together.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I don't know if they were together together, but they
- 16:59Speaker 2: were still hooking up. They weren't together, but they were
- 17:03Speaker 2: still hooking up or they were still hanging out. I
- 17:06Speaker 2: don't know. All it Dolores.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So a lot has has happened since.
- 17:11Speaker 2: She showed up tipsy to his house, allegedly. OK, so
- 17:16Speaker 2: she shows up to his house. They get into an argument.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I think I can't remember. There's something about his daughters
- 17:23Speaker 2: being there. I don't know. I don't want to misquote
- 17:26Speaker 2: anything because this was. Two freaking years ago. And the
- 17:28Speaker 2: fact that we have to talk about it again.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Get Archie there, right?
- 17:31Speaker 2: No, Archie was not there because they were at John
- 17:34Speaker 2: Jansen's house. Oh, yeah. Archie was there, too.
- 17:37Speaker 1: So anyway, she she leaves his house. She gets in
- 17:41Speaker 1: an accident. She was drinking and her.
- 17:46Speaker 2: And Archie get in an accident. Yeah, she was drinking. Allegedly. Well,
- 17:50Speaker 2: we know that she was drinking.
- 17:51Speaker 1: She got arrested.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But I guess John Jansen told Alexis. that he heard
- 17:58Speaker 2: the crash. What is your thoughts on arguing something about
- 18:01Speaker 2: two seasons ago?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Listen, in my life, they've argued for something of 14
- 18:07Speaker 1: seasons ago. So up until the finale of the Housewives
- 18:13Speaker 1: 20th anniversary. So I'm going to say, how do I
- 18:16Speaker 1: feel about it? Same way everybody else feels about it.
- 18:20Speaker 1: There's a lot of more current things to fight about.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Well, then Alexis is pissed. And then She comes over
- 18:29Speaker 2: to the table where I then accidentally spit up a
- 18:32Speaker 2: Cheeto puff.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh, and on camera is beautiful. Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 2: And I say to her, I'm saying to her.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And I say, yeah.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And I'm what I meant was because she kept leaving
- 18:46Speaker 2: and coming back.
- 18:46Speaker 1: We don't like that.
- 18:48Speaker 2: And I said, this is embarrassing for you.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Luann does that a lot.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Like I'm like, I allow Luann to do that.
- 18:54Speaker 2: So I wasn't being a dick. I was actually saying.
- 18:57Speaker 2: If you're going to leave again, don't come back.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You know, you were giving her good advice because then
- 19:04Speaker 1: somebody looks like a like a fly. They're running out
- 19:08Speaker 1: and running and running. If you can't hold your own, OK,
- 19:12Speaker 1: and you decide to leave, don't come back.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, don't come back. But then right as I said it,
- 19:17Speaker 2: you can see like right here, Shannon's head pops in
- 19:21Speaker 2: and she's like, maybe she just wants it for the storyline. Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And then you go like this here we go just
- 19:31Speaker 1: like the old days yeah and it was just like
- 19:34Speaker 1: the old day I mean.
- 19:36Speaker 2: But there I thought there was going to be a
- 19:39Speaker 2: lot less shown but that's pretty much what was shown
- 19:41Speaker 2: um then Alexis leaves again um but Shannon got her
- 19:47Speaker 2: two little digs in.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I thought okay so we've been waiting a long time
- 19:51Speaker 1: for this is there anything you can tell us now
- 19:53Speaker 1: that it's aired what happened that we may have not
- 19:58Speaker 1: seen I think.
- 20:00Speaker 2: The only thing that I can say is I don't
- 20:02Speaker 2: really think the look happened fair I don't think the
- 20:07Speaker 2: look happened I think it was An accidental overlook.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I don't. Teddy, I used to do that all the time,
- 20:14Speaker 1: by the way. Yeah. I used to stare at people
- 20:18Speaker 1: and not realize I was staring at them. And then
- 20:20Speaker 1: my face would twist and it would look like I
- 20:22Speaker 1: was giving them to until I met Paul. Now I'm like,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but I wasn't even staring at them. I think that
- 20:29Speaker 1: Heather was hypersensitive and said, and may have thought that,
- 20:33Speaker 1: but it was weird because the way they edited, I
- 20:35Speaker 1: don't know if you caught on was when she said,
- 20:40Speaker 1: When Alexis gave like both kisses, because she did kind
- 20:43Speaker 1: of throw her a kiss, Heather's back was to her.
- 20:46Speaker 1: So Heather did not see that gesture.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And then she just saw the kind of push away.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 20:53Speaker 2: So, I mean, we can assume, but I mean, the
- 20:56Speaker 2: entire event was pretty good. All the girls were really nice.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I liked how after Shannon said her thing, all of
- 21:02Speaker 2: the women kind of backed behind Shannon.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I loved it. I loved it.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I think even Vicky did, didn't she? Yes.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yes. Yes, I, I really liked it. And I like
- 21:11Speaker 1: Carmela being the newbie. Carmela, don't sleep on her. If
- 21:16Speaker 1: you're her friend and you get in a fight, she
- 21:19Speaker 1: is jumping in.
- 21:20Speaker 2: What did she say? She was like, when I saw him,
- 21:25Speaker 2: when I saw John Jansen, she had like a funny
- 21:29Speaker 2: quote to say about like him and Alexis being there.
- 21:33Speaker 1: They love Carmela. The girls love Carmela. And you could
- 21:36Speaker 1: tell by now they're asking, Carmela, are you coming to Tokyo?
- 21:39Speaker 1: And she's like, I'm 99% sure. They all, except for Vicky,
- 21:44Speaker 1: they all really want her around.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Because they need her around. She's fighting with Vicky.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Right, right. But listen, she's got a lot going on
- 21:54Speaker 1: in her life. She could not make that trip. Does
- 21:56Speaker 1: she have a lot of anxiety?
- 21:58Speaker 2: I think she has a lot of anxiety. They showed
- 22:00Speaker 2: us her flying to Vegas, which, to be clear, from...
- 22:04Speaker 2: like an orange County airport on JSX to Las Vegas
- 22:10Speaker 2: is one hour.
- 22:12Speaker 1: And she was getting, see, I could not, I ran
- 22:16Speaker 1: onto that plane. Yeah. I ran, I set up my
- 22:20Speaker 1: little cubby hole, put my shit around and I was
- 22:23Speaker 1: good to go. I, one of the best parts of
- 22:26Speaker 1: any trip I go on is the flight.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I love the flight.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I spent $ 11, 000 on the flight and, That hurt me.
- 22:37Speaker 1: So I was going to make a.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Little paid post to make up for it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm going to have to do a lot more than
- 22:43Speaker 1: a paid post to make up for that first class
- 22:46Speaker 1: round trip to South Africa. But it was worth it.
- 22:50Speaker 1: It was worth it. I just love it. I watched
- 22:53Speaker 1: a few movies. But anyway, it's a shame that she
- 22:57Speaker 1: didn't make it. But what I loved about this episode
- 23:01Speaker 1: and about this scene was number one, first and foremost,
- 23:04Speaker 1: was seeing you. Number two was how Carmella jumped in
- 23:09Speaker 1: and how they all rallied around her. Nothing against Alexis.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I have nothing against Alexis. I like her. When I
- 23:16Speaker 1: met her, I thought she was very nice when I
- 23:20Speaker 1: came to your podcast, your event. But I like the girls.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Nothing personal to Alexis.
- 23:27Speaker 2: I like the girls because, granted, she is coming to
- 23:31Speaker 2: support Tamara, but she also knows what's there.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Right. Right. And it took a lot. Yeah. And to
- 23:40Speaker 1: speak for Alexis, it took a lot for her to
- 23:42Speaker 1: show up to that. But Tamara went to her wedding. Yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 1: She had to show up for that. I forgot about that.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Because Tamara took a lot of heat going to that wedding.
- 23:50Speaker 2: If we're going to do tit for tat, she did
- 23:52Speaker 2: show up. She was the only one that showed up
- 23:54Speaker 2: to the wedding. Because remember, Heather couldn't because she said
- 23:57Speaker 2: on Watch What Happens Live that she was closer with Shan.
- 24:00Speaker 1: That was a big deal for Tamara to show up
- 24:02Speaker 1: to that wedding.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Um, so then, you know, I love to see Tamara
- 24:08Speaker 1: and Eddie together. They are definitely couple goals and they
- 24:12Speaker 1: give a nice big smooch, smooch.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Hold on before we get to the, before we get
- 24:17Speaker 2: to the, the kiss, which we have to talk about
- 24:21Speaker 2: between barking like a dog.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Now they're making out in front of everybody. Why don't
- 24:24Speaker 1: they just like.
- 24:27Speaker 2: But wouldn't you, if already Carmela has laid it out
- 24:31Speaker 2: to me that she is not coming when anybody says
- 24:33Speaker 2: I'm 99.8. percent.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Sure.
- 24:38Speaker 2: You're that it's going to be that negative point too,
- 24:41Speaker 2: or whatever it is.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I can't do that, but you're not coming.
- 24:45Speaker 2: And also who has a three hole punch? Do you
- 24:47Speaker 2: have one in your home?
- 24:50Speaker 1: What do you mean that three hope I have?
- 24:52Speaker 2: No, there's a, I couldn't get it. I couldn't get
- 24:54Speaker 2: it because somebody put a three hole punch and my
- 24:58Speaker 2: birth certificate. That's like, you remember those things you had
- 25:01Speaker 2: in school and you go, and it was like a
- 25:03Speaker 2: three hole punch.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, like you're going to make your binder.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 25:09Speaker 2: But so I was like, who put it? What? Where
- 25:12Speaker 2: do you get those these days?
- 25:14Speaker 1: She put it in a binder.
- 25:16Speaker 2: She put it in a binder. But she's now having
- 25:21Speaker 2: to get an emergency passport. There's multiple things.
- 25:23Speaker 1: She's not going.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I already knew she's not going. We don't even need
- 25:27Speaker 2: the scene in the airport to tell me. But then
- 25:29Speaker 2: you're right. Tamara and Eddie give a speech to celebrate Vena,
- 25:33Speaker 2: which ends with, I mean, when we talk about how
- 25:37Speaker 2: is your, how are you going to kiss at your wedding?
- 25:40Speaker 1: Me?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I haven't thought about those things.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Are you going to like tongue down?
- 25:46Speaker 1: God, no. And neither should my children. They better not.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Are you going to just do a couple? No, like
- 25:55Speaker 1: a nice hug and a kiss. Like I, I will have.
- 25:59Speaker 2: An open mouth kiss, but not the clergy there.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I will have numerous priests and nuns. The sisters. I can't. No,
- 26:13Speaker 1: there's no reason for that. There's no reason for that.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Well, they share the kiss. They talk about Vena. Everybody's
- 26:19Speaker 2: there to celebrate, which is a good moment. And it's
- 26:22Speaker 2: like a long time coming for Tamara. And I was
- 26:24Speaker 2: happy that that happened.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Me too. It's about time.
- 26:27Speaker 2: What about when Terry Dubrow like totally out Shane for
- 26:31Speaker 2: finally arriving to the party?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Can I tell you, I didn't know if I liked
- 26:37Speaker 1: Harry when I first met him. I like him. He's funny.
- 26:42Speaker 1: He's funny. He's nice. He's down to earth. I, I
- 26:47Speaker 1: know now more about how he grew up, his family life, everything.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I like Terry and I like Terry and Heather together
- 26:55Speaker 1: as a couple.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I think they very much compliment each other. I think
- 26:58Speaker 2: they have a good banter. I think they're really meant
- 27:03Speaker 2: to be.
- 27:04Speaker 1: They really are. They do give each other credit. The
- 27:07Speaker 1: last scene they had in the last episode where they
- 27:11Speaker 1: were telling each other how they bettered each other being
- 27:13Speaker 1: with each other, what she brought to him he never
- 27:16Speaker 1: had and what he brought to her she didn't have.
- 27:19Speaker 1: And I just... And I kind of related to her saying, like,
- 27:22Speaker 1: no one ever told me I was smart.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I never had that until I dated a nice Jewish man.
- 27:29Speaker 1: And I've never had it yet.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Will you tell me today?
- 27:32Speaker 1: You're very smart. Are you kidding me? Of course. No,
- 27:36Speaker 1: but I remember the first time someone said to me,
- 27:41Speaker 1: just because you don't have a formal education doesn't mean
- 27:44Speaker 1: you're not smart. He said, you are so smart. And
- 27:47Speaker 1: he made me feel good. And sometimes you need to
- 27:50Speaker 1: hear that. You need to tell your kids they're smart
- 27:52Speaker 1: all the time. Yeah. They need to know that. But
- 27:55Speaker 1: they didn't talk like that when we were growing up. No.
- 27:58Speaker 1: That much.
- 27:59Speaker 2: But then when Shane does come to the party, Emily,
- 28:02Speaker 2: did you see that hug? Especially after we just saw
- 28:05Speaker 2: the make out between Tamara and Eddie. And then we
- 28:09Speaker 2: saw this hug where it was a hands down hug
- 28:11Speaker 2: like this.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I remember going to marriage counseling and the guy there,
- 28:17Speaker 1: stop everything anyway. But the guy there, when he told
- 28:20Speaker 1: me to tell Frank that I have his code and
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm listening to his messages. But that was a very
- 28:25Speaker 1: bad thing. I told him I cannot tell him that.
- 28:28Speaker 1: He's like, no, you have to be honest. Well, he's
- 28:29Speaker 1: not being honest to me and I need the code
- 28:31Speaker 1: to his phone. He cannot know. I said to the doctor,
- 28:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you he's lying. So then he goes, well,
- 28:38Speaker 1: we're going to call him out. I go, that's a
- 28:39Speaker 1: mistake and I don't want to do this. Please don't
- 28:41Speaker 1: make me. He goes, you have to. I listened to
- 28:43Speaker 1: him because I thought he was a doctor. Frank sits down.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I tell him, he swears up and down. He's not
- 28:47Speaker 1: doing anything. And I go, well, I have all your
- 28:50Speaker 1: messages and I start playing them. Next thing you know, there's,
- 28:53Speaker 1: Chairs getting thrown across. The guy's desk was in half. And,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you know, the guy happened to say by the time
- 29:01Speaker 1: couples get to him, it's mostly the time too late.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 1: And I think it's very late for them.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And but the fact that he couldn't just come into
- 29:10Speaker 2: the party and like give her like a little tap
- 29:13Speaker 2: on the back. But he says, you don't even hug
- 29:15Speaker 2: me when I come home. Why are you hugging me here?
- 29:18Speaker 1: He resents her. He cannot for her. He cannot. And
- 29:21Speaker 1: you know what? It goes both ways. I don't feel
- 29:25Speaker 1: like she gives him a lot of credit. They can't
- 29:29Speaker 1: give each other what they're both looking for. Both of
- 29:32Speaker 1: them want to be patted on the back and thanked
- 29:34Speaker 1: for what they do. And neither one of them will
- 29:37Speaker 1: break and do it.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Oh, I can tell you one thing that happened.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Oh, please tell me.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Somebody told me before this happened. I can't say who
- 29:45Speaker 2: somebody told me to ask her where Shane was. And
- 29:53Speaker 2: she was and it was on camera and she said,
- 29:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:57Speaker 1: She knows he was taking care of the kids, which
- 29:58Speaker 1: is what he said to, he's like, I have kids. Like,
- 30:02Speaker 1: that's why I'm late. It's not like he was out philandering.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yeah. It's not like he, I mean, the worst he's
- 30:08Speaker 2: going to do is go to In-N-Out. I think he's
- 30:09Speaker 2: still Mormon.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Whatever it is, he, listen, they are not giving each
- 30:17Speaker 1: other their, it's, there's no, I don't see any break here.
- 30:19Speaker 1: There's no respite from how they feel about each other
- 30:22Speaker 1: and it's getting worse. And you know what? I don't
- 30:24Speaker 1: think either one of them are totally wrong. I think
- 30:27Speaker 1: it's just gotten to such a bad place. And I've
- 30:32Speaker 1: seen them in better place. When they were at Bottle Rock,
- 30:35Speaker 1: they still liked each other, but then she looked a
- 30:38Speaker 1: lot different too.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Well, I think also, I mean, they have to like
- 30:43Speaker 2: each other enough to do a podcast together. Like, think
- 30:46Speaker 2: about it. If you and I were in a very
- 30:48Speaker 2: bad place, it would be hard to joke and laugh
- 30:50Speaker 2: on this podcast.
- 30:51Speaker 1: No, not true. They could do a podcast together because it's,
- 30:54Speaker 1: the only thing they probably enjoy doing together. And then
- 30:57Speaker 1: as soon as it, it goes down, Fred Astaire and
- 30:59Speaker 1: Ginger Rogers hated each other. True. Sure. And you wouldn't
- 31:05Speaker 1: have known, but none the wiser. However, I think what
- 31:10Speaker 1: I see in them, because I know she wants to
- 31:13Speaker 1: hear you look nice or you're beautiful or whatever. And
- 31:17Speaker 1: they just, there's, I wish I could fix it for them.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I wish they could, they could salvage this.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Well, I wish like, This happens later when they're all
- 31:26Speaker 2: salvating to talk about her potential divorce. But she says like,
- 31:33Speaker 2: you know, no, he doesn't tell me I'm a great
- 31:36Speaker 2: mom and no, he doesn't say these things. It just
- 31:38Speaker 2: seems like they used to have fun together and they've
- 31:42Speaker 2: reached a point where like they're so stressed. It's no fun.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So many marriages are like this, by the way, and
- 31:48Speaker 1: it's really no way to live. Everybody wants to be loved.
- 31:51Speaker 1: It's human nature to want to be loved. Yeah. And
- 31:55Speaker 1: they don't feel loved or appreciated. And like, can one
- 32:01Speaker 1: of them try and put down their guard and put
- 32:03Speaker 1: down their resentment and say, I love you. Thank you
- 32:08Speaker 1: for all you do. But this part made me really sad.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Shannon on the floor with Archie, who recently had a seizure. Oh, Shannon,
- 32:16Speaker 1: you broke my heart. I know. Shannon, it's so bad.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's just so bad. We know the end result.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah, we know the end result. And also, like, I
- 32:28Speaker 2: can't imagine how much stress she was having to go
- 32:31Speaker 2: to Tokyo. She calls her daughter Stella in tears. And
- 32:36Speaker 2: then she's like, you know, he's been my companion through marriage, divorce,
- 32:42Speaker 2: being alone, you know, like.
- 32:43Speaker 1: To lose those last few minutes that you have, like
- 32:49Speaker 1: Archie's on borrowed time at this point. I know. Yeah.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Like it's so bad.
- 32:55Speaker 2: And when she said she was laying on the floor
- 32:57Speaker 2: with him.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Oh, I've been there.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Like all of that was heartbreaking.
- 33:03Speaker 1: And you know, you're it's dogs take their, they love
- 33:08Speaker 1: you unconditionally and they are emotional support. They don't have
- 33:14Speaker 1: to be labeled or taught. They are, they are natural
- 33:18Speaker 1: emotional support.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Dogs.
- 33:22Speaker 2: And so it's sad to see it. And you know,
- 33:25Speaker 2: now that we know what happened, we know the sadness
- 33:30Speaker 2: she went through. But after we find out about that,
- 33:35Speaker 2: Jen and Emily meet at the Aesthetic Lounge where Jen's
- 33:38Speaker 2: stepdaughter works.
- 33:39Speaker 1: What a coinkydink! She's so pretty. You look pretty.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Your hair looks pretty. Your makeup looks pretty. Was this
- 33:48Speaker 2: by chance that you came in here? Well.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Of course. I mean, why not? The doctor seems like
- 33:55Speaker 1: on board to do whatever they need. Number one. And
- 33:59Speaker 1: she lives with Jen.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I know we got more information on that. I've never
- 34:04Speaker 2: heard of.
- 34:04Speaker 1: That, of, of his two kids. They look, they look
- 34:07Speaker 1: like lovely kids and they live with her and they
- 34:13Speaker 1: live with Jen. It's like these, you know, six kids here.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Gina's got 25 kids over there. It's like these blended families.
- 34:24Speaker 1: You guys have a lot of kids. There's a lot
- 34:27Speaker 1: of kids roaming around the state. From what it seems
- 34:30Speaker 1: like is, Jen, it seems like she has a good
- 34:32Speaker 1: relationship with the stepdaughter. The stepdaughter is like the parent
- 34:36Speaker 1: of the house. And it's just nice. She seems like
- 34:41Speaker 1: a sweet kid. And they talk about their facelift. Listen,
- 34:45Speaker 1: when you lose weight, you need to... pick up some
- 34:50Speaker 1: extra skin and put it behind or cut it off. Yeah,
- 34:53Speaker 1: I'm all for it.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And you know what? They're probably going to. And you
- 34:56Speaker 2: know what? Golf claps for them if they haven't done
- 34:58Speaker 2: it already. But then do you what about how Emily
- 35:02Speaker 2: asked Jen what's going on with Ryan and marriage? I'm like,
- 35:06Speaker 2: I don't know, Em, if you're the one to do
- 35:08Speaker 2: this right now.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Well, she is the one to do it because she
- 35:12Speaker 1: is the absolute like somebody said yesterday, the groom, Carl said,
- 35:17Speaker 1: I would ask Only the people that are not single
- 35:20Speaker 1: for advice in this room. I would ask the people
- 35:24Speaker 1: that are single, that are divorced because they've lived through.
- 35:28Speaker 1: It's easy to stay married when things are good. But
- 35:31Speaker 1: tell me what a divorced couple would have done differently.
- 35:35Speaker 1: And when did they know this was happening? Could they
- 35:38Speaker 1: have caught it sooner? That's who you want to ask.
- 35:42Speaker 2: But she didn't give any of that information. Jen says
- 35:47Speaker 2: she has a fear that her and Ryan get married
- 35:49Speaker 2: and the other shoe will drop and another marriage will
- 35:51Speaker 2: fall apart. Understood. I was like, let's be real here.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I know. Are you going to do this right now?
- 35:58Speaker 1: Jen is waiting for Bravo.
- 35:59Speaker 2: To pay for your wedding.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I thought you were going to say something else.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Let's be real on this.
- 36:06Speaker 2: What did you think I was going to say?
- 36:09Speaker 1: Well, I thought you were going to say like, Because
- 36:12Speaker 1: she was saying that her marriage, they kind of grew apart.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I thought you were going to say that maybe they
- 36:18Speaker 1: didn't grow apart. Maybe there was other reasons they got divorced.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Well, I mean, there was other reasons they got divorced. Okay.
- 36:25Speaker 2: That was double. It was, they grew apart and something
- 36:28Speaker 2: else happened.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah. What happens when you grow apart? So anyway,
- 36:34Speaker 1: when Jen describes her marriage and how it ended, it
- 36:38Speaker 1: is a mirror image of what's going on in Emily's
- 36:40Speaker 1: marriage right now. So I was like, oh, geez. Does
- 36:43Speaker 1: anybody see this or is it just me?
- 36:46Speaker 2: I was saying it's foreshadowing. Yeah, foreshadowing. And then you
- 36:49Speaker 2: and Jen is being open that like she still thinks
- 36:52Speaker 2: about it. Like, what if I could have saved my family?
- 36:55Speaker 2: And we know Vicky still was as she was with Dawn.
- 36:58Speaker 1: By the way, I was very surprised she said that. Very,
- 37:02Speaker 1: very surprised she said that. So, yeah, I don't want
- 37:06Speaker 1: to get I don't want to make her sorry that
- 37:09Speaker 1: she said that. And I don't want to dig into that.
- 37:11Speaker 1: But I think that that was a very honest and
- 37:13Speaker 1: that was a very honorable thing to say. It really was.
- 37:18Speaker 2: I agree. Then as the women are gathering to leave
- 37:33Speaker 2: for Japan, Carmela says, They're in one of those, I
- 37:38Speaker 2: think they're called PS suites. So those are at the airport.
- 37:41Speaker 2: For anybody that doesn't know, it's like.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I don't know, but I want to know because I'm
- 37:45Speaker 1: an airport snob.
- 37:46Speaker 2: So you can pay an extra something. I think it's 10.
- 37:49Speaker 2: I've done it for a paid post, so I don't
- 37:51Speaker 2: really know how much it is, but I'm guessing it's
- 37:52Speaker 2: an additional 10,000 or so. You get to drive right
- 37:56Speaker 2: up to- It's.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Not that much. Mm-mm. It can't be an additional $ 10, 000.
- 38:02Speaker 2: You drive right up into where you're going to leave
- 38:06Speaker 2: and you never have to go into a waiting area.
- 38:09Speaker 2: I had that done. You sit in the room. They
- 38:11Speaker 2: give you caviar. They give you drinks. They set you up.
- 38:14Speaker 2: And then they take you directly from that little sitting
- 38:16Speaker 2: room to the airplane.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I did that. I flew Lufthansa to Italy. Oh, it's $ 4, 500.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Thank you. $ 3, 500 to $ 4, 500. That's a lot.
- 38:26Speaker 2: But per person, think about how much it was for
- 38:28Speaker 2: all of them. It's not thirty five to forty five
- 38:31Speaker 2: hundred per room. Covers up to four people.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Oh, so then it's like a thousand dollars a person.
- 38:41Speaker 1: It's a thousand dollars extra person.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Got it. OK.
- 38:47Speaker 2: But then, you know, they're all sitting there and Carmela's
- 38:51Speaker 2: calls to tell them she's not going to make it
- 38:53Speaker 2: due to her.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 2: But Vicky and Shannon weren't there during this moment. But
- 38:57Speaker 2: they're like, Vicky is going to be thrilled.
- 39:00Speaker 1: So Vicky was thrilled, I think, but not as thrilled
- 39:06Speaker 1: as Carmela for not going.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Well, I would be thrilled if I was Carmela not
- 39:11Speaker 2: going to sitting on that bed watching already them try
- 39:14Speaker 2: to come up with what they're going to fight with
- 39:15Speaker 2: in Tokyo. But I do believe that she was having
- 39:20Speaker 2: diabetes and stress. I think she was having relationship issues.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I think she was feeling sick. I think she's a
- 39:26Speaker 2: stress traveler. I think she has a lot of kids.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I didn't believe for one second she was making it up.
- 39:32Speaker 2: I do think it was causing her emotional distress to attend.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 39:39Speaker 2: But Vicky then goes, Carmela made a great decision not
- 39:45Speaker 2: to come because she doesn't know us and she's a
- 39:48Speaker 2: Debbie Downer. I'm like, Not Vicky commenting on somebody else's
- 39:53Speaker 2: health problems.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Vicky cannot help herself. What do you think, in your opinion,
- 39:58Speaker 1: you know Vicky better than me? Why doesn't she like Carmela?
- 40:01Speaker 1: I don't think she likes anyone new. And I don't
- 40:03Speaker 1: think Carmela kisses her ass. That's not nice. That's not
- 40:07Speaker 1: nice to not like somebody new just because they're new.
- 40:11Speaker 1: It's like kind of like makes the person feel left out.
- 40:14Speaker 1: But Vicky's actually not doing that because the rest of
- 40:16Speaker 1: the girls like her.
- 40:17Speaker 2: But it's like how she called Jen low-hanging fruit because
- 40:21Speaker 2: Jen is the second newest.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Right. So she takes a lot of pride in the
- 40:28Speaker 1: fact that she has been on the first one. And
- 40:33Speaker 1: so anybody after her isn't that important.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Yeah. But is she not knowing us and all of that?
- 40:39Speaker 2: And calling her Debbie Downer. I'm like, I thought we
- 40:43Speaker 2: stopped this word three episodes ago. I don't want to
- 40:46Speaker 2: hear it again.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:49Speaker 2: I guess these words. It's more than one. Debbie Downer. Okay.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Got it.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Then Shannon lets the group know about Archie and how
- 40:58Speaker 2: he was diagnosed with brain cancer.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Heartbreaking.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Then they make fun of her outfit.
- 41:09Speaker 1: They couldn't give her one break.
- 41:10Speaker 2: They're like, oh, you're telling us something heartbreaking, but you
- 41:13Speaker 2: look like you're dressed like an old guy.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And the thread count doesn't matter. And the thread
- 41:19Speaker 1: count doesn't matter. But I mean, Gina, Gina complaining about
- 41:29Speaker 1: her outfit was funny.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Especially when I saw Gina's full.
- 41:33Speaker 1: It's not a cheap cashmere.
- 41:34Speaker 2: No, I saw Gina's full beauty regimen that she had
- 41:37Speaker 2: on the plane. And I was like, I went on
- 41:41Speaker 2: a TikTok. She did lip tape, eye mask. hair in a,
- 41:46Speaker 2: like a, a thing. Like I was like, I don't
- 41:49Speaker 2: need to see this, but either way, um, 12 hours later,
- 41:55Speaker 2: we're in Tokyo. Um, they split up the sprinters into
- 41:59Speaker 2: two groups. Jen has never regretted her decision more than
- 42:04Speaker 2: she did.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Well, not until she finds out she's sharing a room
- 42:07Speaker 1: with Tamara. Not before that. So she's, Now they're throwing up, gagging.
- 42:15Speaker 1: They both have food poisoning. 100% had food poisoning. Every
- 42:20Speaker 1: single thing they described as food poisoning.
- 42:23Speaker 2: I wanted to see one bit of actual throw up.
- 42:27Speaker 1: No.
- 42:27Speaker 2: I guarantee you.
- 42:29Speaker 1: When you have food poisoning, yes, it takes a while
- 42:31Speaker 1: to come out, but you keep burping and you feel
- 42:35Speaker 1: the pains in the stomach. And you feel like you're
- 42:37Speaker 1: going to throw up, but it doesn't come up easy.
- 42:39Speaker 1: And then once it does, you have a relief until
- 42:41Speaker 1: the next wave of pain.
- 42:44Speaker 2: They were passing that trash bag around like it was empty.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I think they were having some gagging issues.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Oh, my God. You're saying that they're acting again, like
- 42:53Speaker 1: when you were crying last week when you were showing me. Yes.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I think they're like.
- 42:58Speaker 1: If I find out. If I find out.
- 43:01Speaker 2: I can make myself.
- 43:04Speaker 1: See, you always do this to me. Now I don't
- 43:06Speaker 1: like them.
- 43:07Speaker 2: I think, I, I think they were doing it.
- 43:09Speaker 1: If I find out that's corny and corny. I mean,
- 43:13Speaker 1: Vicky gagging has always been a thing. Okay.
- 43:16Speaker 2: And look, I almost just made myself throw up from
- 43:19Speaker 2: gagging three times.
- 43:20Speaker 1: And everybody wonders why the boyfriends run. It's got to stop.
- 43:26Speaker 2: But they get out and Jen is like, how far.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Was the ride from the airport to the hotel?
- 43:34Speaker 2: I don't know, but it seemed like a long enough time.
- 43:39Speaker 2: But then they, you know, after they get out of
- 43:41Speaker 2: the car ride, they talk about the rooms and where
- 43:45Speaker 2: everybody's going. And then once Jen and Tamara, they're like,
- 43:51Speaker 2: hell's frozen over because Jen and Tamara are sharing a room.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Gina and Emily have to ask permission to share a room,
- 43:59Speaker 2: which also looked a little tight.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Why are they allowing this? Why are they allowing split
- 44:03Speaker 1: them up.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Split them up? But then Jen is like, you know,
- 44:09Speaker 2: tell me about what happened in your Sprinter van. And
- 44:13Speaker 2: Tamara that shares that Emily was talking a lot about
- 44:16Speaker 2: her marriage and her bus.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Yeah. And she was, listen, I think it's, it's to
- 44:21Speaker 1: a really rough point now, but we also can't negate
- 44:25Speaker 1: the fact that they were going through something so tremendously
- 44:29Speaker 1: hard with their son. Yeah, that is stress of its own.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Like, did you see how many text messages her son
- 44:37Speaker 2: sent when he was out? Like when Slate does that
- 44:40Speaker 2: to me and really it's like because she wants to
- 44:42Speaker 2: know if she can order something on Postmates. I'm like,
- 44:45Speaker 2: it's been seven minutes. Calm down.
- 44:49Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, they they don't he doesn't their
- 44:52Speaker 1: son doesn't like him leaving them leaving. And it's it's
- 44:55Speaker 1: a lot on them right now. They need to get
- 44:57Speaker 1: it together. Yeah.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Um, then, uh, at dinner, Jen asked Emily how things
- 45:05Speaker 2: are going with Shane, because clearly now that Shane's brought
- 45:08Speaker 2: it up, Tamara's told, um, Jen, which Jen already knew
- 45:12Speaker 2: this was everybody.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I even knew this was happening. So we've all known this.
- 45:17Speaker 2: We've all known this is happening. So it's not like
- 45:19Speaker 2: Tamara's stirring the pot. Tamara clearly was just stop. No.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Like everybody and their mother knew that Emily and Shane
- 45:26Speaker 2: were having problems. But at dinner, Jen asked Emily how
- 45:29Speaker 2: things are going with Shane and Emily says they barely
- 45:31Speaker 2: speak in the mornings, sleep in separate rooms. What's your
- 45:36Speaker 2: thoughts on sleeping in separate rooms? Some people I know
- 45:39Speaker 2: do it and they're still married. And I don't, I
- 45:41Speaker 2: know people that do and they're still married.
- 45:44Speaker 1: I think whatever works, but if they're doing it because
- 45:47Speaker 1: they don't want to be next to each other, then
- 45:50Speaker 1: that's a problem. If they do it because somebody snores or,
- 45:54Speaker 1: you know, whatever a But to sleep in separate rooms
- 45:57Speaker 1: for me in this situation is just bringing them further apart.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Well, especially because it's not like they're in there watching
- 46:05Speaker 2: their favorite shows together, chitty-chitty-bang-banging, and then.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Yeah, no. This is the thing. Can they not stand
- 46:13Speaker 1: to be next to each other that much that they
- 46:15Speaker 1: can't even be unconscious next to each other?
- 46:17Speaker 2: That's my concern. And then they don't even say hi
- 46:21Speaker 2: in the mornings. It sounds like a transactional relationship at
- 46:24Speaker 2: this point.
- 46:26Speaker 1: They can both get themselves sick over it. Yeah. Living
- 46:29Speaker 1: like that is unhealthy.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:32Speaker 1: And I mean, unhealthy. And that's when bad things happen.
- 46:37Speaker 1: So then after dinner, I love it that Vicky can't
- 46:45Speaker 1: even make it past dinner.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Vicky's like, I'm out.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I won't be able to make it the rest of
- 46:50Speaker 1: the week if I go back down.
- 46:52Speaker 2: And I'm like, Vicky, if your knee hurts so bad,
- 46:54Speaker 2: get a pair of freaking flats or get those.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Slippers that Jen had on. She doesn't want to. She
- 47:00Speaker 1: doesn't want to. But she says something in The Coming
- 47:02Speaker 1: Attractions I saw.
- 47:04Speaker 2: The Coming Attractions. Was there like a peanut dancing too?
- 47:08Speaker 1: That's how I say it.
- 47:14Speaker 2: After dinner, they hit up 7-Eleven. They have egg salad.
- 47:18Speaker 2: They did not disappoint. They all are.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Now I want the egg salad. You got to fly
- 47:22Speaker 1: there for it. Well, can I? Bobo from New York
- 47:25Speaker 1: flies to Vietnam for a sandwich.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Maybe. But. I don't understand why instead
- 47:36Speaker 2: of just having fun, they have to call out how
- 47:40Speaker 2: shocked they are that Heather's having fun.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's petty, nasty bullshit. Yeah.
- 47:47Speaker 2: So, but they drink snake. I mean, when Shannon thought
- 47:52Speaker 2: that snake was real. I did.
- 47:55Speaker 1: What makes you think it's not?
- 47:57Speaker 2: That snake is dead in there.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Doesn't mean it's fake. Hold on, it's real. What are you, crazy? What?
- 48:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not alive, you guys. I told you.
- 48:07Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it's fake. No, I didn't think it
- 48:10Speaker 1: was a plastic one.
- 48:11Speaker 2: I meant alive, living.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Well, that doesn't mean the same thing is real. Sorry.
- 48:17Speaker 2: I know it's a real snake. I meant alive.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Okay. We know it's not alive. Well, you know who didn't?
- 48:26Speaker 2: Shannon.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Well, listen, Shannon's got problems right now. I can't pick
- 48:31Speaker 1: on a girl while she's down like this. I got it.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Archie's given, she's got a hard pass.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Then they all go back. They go to sleep. We
- 48:42Speaker 2: don't see any drama there's no after talk after this
- 48:45Speaker 2: it's just night night but then in the morning once
- 48:48Speaker 2: the girls are all ready Emily FaceTime Shane um but
- 48:53Speaker 2: kind of hangs up on him after he gives her attitude.
- 48:57Speaker 1: They're miserable oh they are miserable.
- 49:02Speaker 2: They are do you think he's being this way more
- 49:04Speaker 2: because it's on camera or because.
- 49:07Speaker 1: No I do not I think that's the way they
- 49:10Speaker 1: live they are miserable And they have a lot going
- 49:14Speaker 1: on at home with the kids. And on top of that,
- 49:20Speaker 1: it's a cocktail for disaster. That's all I got to say.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Well, I mean, saying these this line, they feel like
- 49:26Speaker 2: enemies and that she's constantly feels like she's failing. Those
- 49:29Speaker 2: aren't good feelings.
- 49:31Speaker 1: No. And she's crying. And I see two people that
- 49:36Speaker 1: don't like each other. Because if you can dis, you
- 49:40Speaker 1: can be mad at someone and still like them. They
- 49:43Speaker 1: don't like each other.
- 49:43Speaker 2: But season one, Shane was kind of like this a
- 49:47Speaker 2: little bit, but then he shifted. Like he was a
- 49:50Speaker 2: little bit abrasive and like always making jokes and that,
- 49:54Speaker 2: and we all got offended for her Emily a little bit,
- 49:59Speaker 2: but then he changed. And then we were like, oh,
- 50:01Speaker 2: he's funny.
- 50:02Speaker 1: We like him.
- 50:03Speaker 2: And then, I don't know.
- 50:05Speaker 1: But anyone, listen, I mean it, If I looked as
- 50:09Speaker 1: good as her, everything would bother me a lot less.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I just want to die. Wow. I want to have
- 50:17Speaker 1: a dirty Diet Coke now, now that you mentioned her.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I want to go get the Dr. Pepper. She put
- 50:25Speaker 1: the cream and I did it on the plane. I
- 50:27Speaker 1: want it so bad. Then the girls arrive at the
- 50:31Speaker 1: temple to get their fortunes. Everyone seemed happy with their fortunes.
- 50:36Speaker 2: No, they didn't. Vicky did not seem happy with her fortune.
- 50:41Speaker 1: I said everyone seemed happy with their fortunes. We can't
- 50:44Speaker 1: count Vicky in anything that, because we have to know
- 50:47Speaker 1: that she's not. Vicky's unhappiness is happiness. That's Vicky's happiness though.
- 50:53Speaker 1: So she was actually happy that she got something to
- 50:55Speaker 1: complain about.
- 50:57Speaker 2: I love that hers even said, don't get married. Like
- 51:00Speaker 2: don't run. Don't get married. Your relationships are shit. And
- 51:04Speaker 2: she's like, she tries to crumple up her own fortune
- 51:07Speaker 2: before Gina reads it. By the way, I love that.
- 51:10Speaker 2: They're all like, we're too lazy to get our readers out.
- 51:12Speaker 2: So Gina can use your young eyes to read all
- 51:15Speaker 2: of these.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Oh, that's too funny. Yeah. They just didn't want to. Yeah.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I mean, but I mean, each one of theirs.
- 51:23Speaker 1: It was telling it was fitting. It was fitting. It
- 51:26Speaker 1: was fitting.
- 51:27Speaker 2: But then they burn it, which means the fortune goes away. Like,
- 51:31Speaker 2: if you don't like your fortune, which Tamara got emotional
- 51:35Speaker 2: during her fortune because she was talking about her daughter.
- 51:39Speaker 2: And clearly Vicky didn't like hers. And then I love
- 51:45Speaker 2: your mind is unsettled. And then Gina interprets that as
- 51:48Speaker 2: Vicky is going senile. I don't. Is that the same?
- 51:53Speaker 1: Well, there is a portion of people, when they start
- 51:58Speaker 1: to get Alzheimer's or something like that, they get nasty
- 52:01Speaker 1: and ornery.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Oh, they.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Do. Yeah. It's like a sign.
- 52:07Speaker 2: It's well, do we think it's a sign for Emily
- 52:10Speaker 2: that she gets a positive fortune about her marriage and employment,
- 52:13Speaker 2: which she admits she really needed to hear?
- 52:15Speaker 1: Um, yeah.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I think I don't, I think that I hope that
- 52:23Speaker 1: this trip brings a lot of peace to them somewhere
- 52:26Speaker 1: on this trip. They find something. And yeah. Yeah.
- 52:30Speaker 2: I hope they can just at least have one nice
- 52:32Speaker 2: conversation while they're gone and just be like.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I would like them to show Emily support right now.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Because she's really going through it. She is in the
- 52:43Speaker 1: thick of it.
- 52:44Speaker 2: She's in the thick of it.
- 52:45Speaker 1: But hey, you look like slamming. Yeah.
- 52:48Speaker 2: So you win some, you lose some.
- 52:51Speaker 1: That's the truth.
- 52:52Speaker 2: You know what? You can't have it all.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Sorry, Em. No, sorry. Sorry, Emily. If you look good,
- 52:56Speaker 1: you have to be miserable in every other aspect of
- 52:59Speaker 1: your life. You're not allowed to look good and enjoy it.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Just so you know. Because we're jealous.
- 53:08Speaker 2: This is our formal advice cutting off the episode of
- 53:12Speaker 2: Two Teas in a Pond. If you look good, you
- 53:14Speaker 2: can't feel good. Sorry.
- 53:16Speaker 1: That's not fair. It's not fair.
- 53:20Speaker 2: I won't have it. For more motivational talking, please tune
- 53:22Speaker 2: in next week. Oh my gosh. Well, I love you.
- 53:28Speaker 2: I know you're jet lagged.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Love you. Good luck.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I'm going to see you tomorrow. So you're going to
- 53:33Speaker 2: see how bruised up I am. And I'll do the
- 53:34Speaker 2: reveal on the pod on how I, I'm not going
- 53:38Speaker 2: to cover it. I'm not, I'm going to really, I'm
- 53:40Speaker 2: going to wear sunglasses, but then I'm going to take
- 53:42Speaker 2: them down and I'm going to show you guys day one.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Get your Arnica. Okay.
- 53:47Speaker 2: I'll get my Arnica. All right.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Bye. Love you.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Good luck. Bye.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Love you.
