- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Howdy pilgrims.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: It's your boy MJ coming at you with another episode of the Fantasy Fumble.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Hope everyone's doing great today.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: I'm doing great.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Joe, how the hell are you doing, brother?
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: I'm doing great too.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Was that a Thanksgiving reference with the Pilgrims?
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Uh howdy pilgrims.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: It was, man.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Also, shout out to John Wayne, uh, the the Duke.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Uh absolutely.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Love John.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: But uh, how the hell are you doing in your fantasy lineup, show?
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: How you know it's that time of the year?
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: You're either in, you're out, or you're fighting for your life.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, two leagues, I'm pretty much out.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: There's a slim chance in one league I can get in still, but it's very unlikely.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Uh, but pretty much a lock for the other four.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: So I'm feeling really good going in the playoffs.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: And here's the best part is my teams look rock solid going into the playoffs.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm deciding between, you know, I've got basically on every team three solid running backs, three wide receivers that are just must-starts, and that feels so good going into the playoffs when you're not scrambling to find a position.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Now, how are your teams looking?
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm I'm feeling uh I'm feeling like uh I only have a chance in about three out of five.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: I'm automatically eliminated out of two of them.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Um I have no chance.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Uh one of them I'm fighting for my life from five and seven, so I need to win out to to get the seven spot.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: And then the other two, I'm six and six, so I'm sitting there in a mid-rank, but not winning out can cost me a playoff spot as well.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it's it's no guarantees for me, no slam dunks, but uh this year has been a little bit scrappy, a lot of injuries.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: I've been affected.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, you got to roll with the punches.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: So uh my hope is though that Brees Hall and Josh Jacobs carry me to the to the finish line on both leagues, you know.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Um also helps that I have Patrick Mahomes in one league and Josh Allen the other.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: So, you know, having a stud quarterback, that's your triangle offense, right?
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: But um, regardless, strong teams, I'm very excited, and uh this next couple of weeks are gonna be extremely crucial as far as uh production.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: But uh, but anyways, uh uh before we get into um more specifics there, a word from our sponsors.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Hey there.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: My name is Manny James Gonzalez with PRB, and I'm a real estate agent here in Central Florida.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: I'm a U.S.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Navy veteran, military relocation pro, and big supporter of 2A and veterans' rights.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: My specialty is VA transactions.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: I'm also experience in all parts of real estate.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: I've been living in Florida for over 20 years, and I can tell you we still believe in freedom down here.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: One of the greatest job markets, excellent economy, and no state income tax.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: When it comes to an agent, you want one that's gonna be honest, not afraid of a fight, and most importantly, willing to do the things that some agents aren't willing to do.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: And what's that, Manny?
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Choose straight, Dan.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: If you ever consider buying in Central Florida, you need somebody you can trust, and I got your tickets.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: I'm Manny James and Zale, buying land for the free and home for the brave.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: There's not too much going on in the news, but we do have some injuries that we need to report.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: The following did not practice on Wednesday.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: At running back, J.K.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Dobbins, Zamir White, and Austin Eckler.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: At wide receiver, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, both on the Seahawks, Alec Pierce and Josh Downs, both on the Colts, Devonta Smith, Calvin Ridley, and Adam Thielen and Jalen Coker, also both on the Panthers, and last but not least, Green Bay Packers, wide receiver Romeo Dobbs.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: And then at tight end, Jake Ferguson out with a concussion, did not practice, and Dalton Kincaid of the Buffalo Bills.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And everything looks good at quarterback again.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: That's two weeks in a row.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: So although the injuries are getting better, there still are a few notable injuries that you have to make plans for.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, and for the waiver wire, it's pretty much bone dry.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: You know, there's not really a lot of options.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: I know with Romeo Dobbs out, Dontavian Wicks, uh, wide receiver for the Green Bay, he's like a emergency spot start.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Uh Gus Edwards for the Chargers, you know, he's he's someone that you could probably go out and grab, or Kamani Vidal, you know, the rookie.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: He could be the guy that gets all the touches.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Um, over there.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: But definitely not a lot of options.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, you you drafted well and you made some trades during the season.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, but otherwise, right now, you're just pretty much picking up defenses and you know, yeah, scaring there.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: Good time to stash those defenses and um, you know, look at the schedule that's coming up and and play the schedule.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: That's really what you have to do towards the end of the year.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, with with the fact that DK and Tyler Lockett didn't practice, probably gonna be a huge week for JSN.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And also with the Colts, Pierce and Josh Downs.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, could be a really big week for Michael Pittman.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, it's with the Panthers, uh I don't know, with Dylan out and Koger out, they weren't doing a lot anyway.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Um, but I know that right now the only one that didn't practice was Zamir White, but Madison is still banged up, and Amir Um and Abdullah looked good last week, so he could be a guy you grab just in case both of those guys sit again.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's definitely great advice, man.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Um, I completely forgot about Abdullah, so that's somebody that you can just you know plug plug in if if he plays, he's gonna give you some solid floor.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Now let's get into our hot matchups.
- 6:41unknown: Wow.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Hottest balls in here.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: It's cooking, it's cooking.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Who's your hot matchup this week, Manny?
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: You know, I thought long and hard for this one.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: It was really hard to decide, but ultimately I ended up deciding on the Eagles versus the Ravens, battle of the birds.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: There's no Falcons involved.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: This is pigeons only.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: All right, so Philly, Baltimore, it's gonna be a real slug fest.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, Philly has a good defense, but Baltimore typically plays good against us, and uh Lamar Jackson's looking for that bounce back game.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: So um we could look look to see him going off on all sides, of course.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: The the man bear pig of Derrick Henry is freaking unstoppable.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Man bear, half man, half bear, half pig, man bear pig.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: That's uh it's so good.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: But that's it is uh but going into it, man, it's gonna be a lot of fireworks.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: Maybe Deontay.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Nah, I don't I wouldn't start any Ravens receiver, but uh those guys are must-starts, obviously.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, uh you go on the other side, Eagles.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Uh Jalen Hurts is pretty much must-start.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: AJ Brown, everybody knows that.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: Devontae, if he's out.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: I even like Dallas Goddard, man.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: Like it, he typically steps up in bigger uh when we need him in bigger games.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: He does.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: And uh, so it it's definitely gonna be a fun game.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: It does have a high point spread as well.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: It's at 51 and a half, which is one of the highest of the week.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: And actually, that's one of the highest I've seen in a you know a couple weeks.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so uh definitely should be fireworks, and I'm looking forward to it.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man, it's it's a tough situation with the Ravens receivers because it feels like you know, Zay Zay Flowers is is rock solid most of the time, but he even has those bust weeks here and there, and Rashad Bateman, it's the same thing, like you can roll the dice on him, but I wouldn't.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: So, you know, outside of Lamar and Derek Henry, it I mean, I would definitely play Zay Flowers too, but outside of those three, yeah.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, they do everything for the Ravens.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: The the problem is, even with the tight ends, it's another thing where you're gonna need from Andrews, you're gonna need a touchdown.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Isaiah likely fell off.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: So those three can do it all.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Uh, that's really all you need, and and I expect them to have a real big week.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: And the same thing with the Eagles, man.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: You're right, Goddard does step up when Devontae or um AJ Brown goes down.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: So if Devontae doesn't play, I definitely think Godd's gonna be a good play this week.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: And of course, Saquon Barkley, man, what did we say at the beginning of the season?
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: He is set up to have a career year, and he is doing that every single week, man.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: It's so good to watch.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's amazing, man.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: Um, can't believe I didn't even mention him.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: I I think it's like he goes without saying, you know, yeah, right, right.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: And I'm glad you touched up on it because man, that guy is just incredible, right?
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Like what MVP, like he he would be a slam duck MVP if he didn't get uh uh robbed by the brotherly shove, you know.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: And yeah, that's true.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: And I I I call it a the brotherly shove because that's what people from Philly call it.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: Everybody else calls it the tush-push because that sounds girlier, whatever the case may be, but I'm not correct at all politically or whatever.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Brotherly Shove sounds so much cooler.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: It is way cooler.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Now, for my hot matchup, I actually have the Bears versus the Lions.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: This could be a defensive battle.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: The Bears have a great defense, and the Lions have a great defense, but I think the Bears are gonna step up and bring it.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Like DJ Moore bounced back last week.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: We were waiting for that.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: Uh Dunze's been getting 10 targets for the last two weeks.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: So 20 targets over the last two weeks.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: And even Caleb Williams stepped up for the Bears.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: And DeAndre Swift has had a few down weeks, but for the most part, has been great.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: And I feel like the Lions are better against the run than they are against the pass.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: So he should have a good day.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: And a dunze might be a good flex play.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: But all around, I think it's just going to be a high-scoring game, despite them both having rock solid defenses.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and another point to add to that, uh, Keaton Allen finally had his breakout game last week.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: We'll give him a round of applause.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you did mention that.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he deserves credit.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: He and he had 12 targets and he caught eight of them.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: So, like uh the Bears fired their offensive coordinator two weeks ago, three weeks ago.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, the guy that took over has made this team a pass first team, which is their identity.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: Like, let Caleb Williams kind of create, let him be Caleb.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: They were trying to run a run first scheme that didn't really work for them in the play action.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: He's a little bit better on you know, more of a pro style offense, like a spread.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: Um, so now that they are utilizing their wide receivers, which they have three amazing wide receivers, you know, they're getting better success.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: So I expect that to also be a high scoring game, a lot of fun too.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to see what both sides do.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: And even though the Lions are good against the run, like you said, there are three solid wide receivers.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: And man, I'm glad you mentioned Keenan Allen because he did step up and have that game we were all waiting for last week.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: So if he stays hot, and I mean that's a lot of passing when you're talking about the targets between those three, that can open up the run for DeAndre Swift, too.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: And Roshan might be a sneaky play in like uh D um uh standard, uh Standard or or possibly like a DraftKings lineup.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: But remember, you're responsible for your own bets.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: Don't bet with money that you don't have, that's right, only bet with what you're comfortable losing, and do it responsibly.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: That means not under the influence of any drugs.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: And if you need a hotline, Google it.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: There's help out there for you.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: Don't quote me on that.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: What's your honorable mention for next week or for this week?
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Um I gotta start talking in the present.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: What's your honorable mention for this week?
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Well, listen, Pilgrim, my honorable mention uh is going to be the Dolphins versus the Packers.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, I like the Fudge Packers in this one, man.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: They are they are definitely looking great.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: Josh Jacobs, three touchdowns last week.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: That guy is a freaking hog.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: You've been saying it all year long.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: And guess what?
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: I got him, I trade for him in all my leagues.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Even the ones I'm not in it, like now he's starting to show his his grind, right?
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: Like his his his next gear.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: So I'm expecting him to be running all over the Dolphins because they're great against the pass, but susceptible to the run, right?
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: Obviously, they don't have a very good record uh with or without two or whatever.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: Um so besides that, man, like uh I don't know who you start as a wide receiver on the on the Packers besides Jaden Reed, but uh definitely Miami's not a defense I I feel good starting anybody against, especially an inconsistent wide receiver like Jaden Reed.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: Um, so you know you pretty much take a risk on that, but Tucker Kraft could be a sneaky play for tight end.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: Um and then you you go over there to the uh dolphin side.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: I mean Tua being back.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's been a good play, and then obviously uh you know Tyreek Hill has been disappointing, and J Jaden What Jalen Waddle had his breakout game, but uh I think that it it goes back to where it was before.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: You might see a Tyreek Hill breakout game this week.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: I would love that, man.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: It's it's so long overdue, and I mean I to is one of those guys.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, he used to run a little bit more, he doesn't really run the ball, and I didn't expect him to run really at all once he returned.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: But you know, that affects his floor a little bit.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: But if if he can get the ball to Tyreek and Waddle, and I mean shit, the last two weeks, John Who Smith has looked incredible too.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Um, that can like if he can continue to spread the ball, uh, he should have a good day for sure.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And the Packers, I mean, their defense is pretty solid, but again, it's they've kind of uh been up and down all season.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: So if they have a down week and Tua can capitalize on that, and again, you've got the weapons, it's just about coming up and stepping up to play.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, couldn't I have said it better myself.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Now, for my honorable mention, I've got the Cardinals and the Vikings.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: The Vikings have looked incredible, and their D is rock solid.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: But I feel like the Cardinals, they got enough going on that that they can keep this game competitive, and if it stays competitive, that should lead to scoring.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: You know, the Cardinals have Trey McBride, who's been awesome, and I that's I mean, Kyler Murray's another one of those guys similar to Tua, where you know when he's coming to play and he steps up, he's gonna have a great game.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Um, but he's had he's had some bad weeks and has has been hit or miss pretty much throughout the season, and that's kind of how Marvin Harrison Jr.'s been.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: But if they can get in sync against this Vikings uh defense, which will be difficult, but I believe they can do it because they're six and five right now, and they've got a I mean, they're not in a must-win situation, but pretty close to it, and they don't have much time left.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: So I see Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: stepping up, Trey McBride stepping up.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: The whole team's healthy, you know.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Connor's been healthy all season, knock on wood.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: If he stays healthy through the end of the season and finishes strong, that could be a serious threat.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: And you know, with the Vikings, Sam Darnold, he's been actually pretty consistent.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Uh Justin Jefferson's had a couple down weeks, uh, maybe even like three down weeks in a row.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Um, Jordan Addison is, you know, he had an incredible week last week, but I wouldn't I wouldn't say he's a must-start by any stretch.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: I have him in a couple leagues and he's staying on my bench.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: But uh Aaron Jones, he's a must-start.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: And I think that Jefferson, despite having a few down weeks, is a must-start.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: And again, if if the teams can keep this competitive, there are a lot of offensive weapons, and that can negate the defense.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: So if if the Cardinals can get up by a score just to set the tone, I feel like the rest of the game should be competitive.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: Some props I like off of that.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: I know you're talking about Marvin Harrison right now.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: Um, for one of the apps that we're using here, um, I saw a prop of three and a half over or under for three and a half receptions for Marvin Harrison.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: So I took that as a pretty nice over, right?
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Like, even despite his bad weeks, I I agree with you.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: I think he's gonna have a good week.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: So that could be a really nice prop there.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: Uh on the Vikings side, obviously Justin Jefferson uh coming in, you know, off you know, some quiet games recently.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, I expect this to be a breakout game because the Cardinals can't cover anybody, and you especially can't cover uh just Jay Jettis, you know.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna the 78 and uh uh 78 yards.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: I took the over on that one because I think he's gonna have a monster game.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: So um, but otherwise, good team going at it.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: Uh, you you said everybody that we need to, so I don't need to rehash it.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and another one I do want to mention um is Hawkinson.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: He's probably your best tight end.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: Do you have a better option?
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Probably not.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: So I'd play him too.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, if you have Taysom Hill, you have a better option.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Fucking right.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: I picked him up in every league.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: Early.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, I picked him up early because I I just kept seeing the injuries coming.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, three, they have no choice but to utilize them now.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Let's get into our cold calls.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: You can see my breath.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Who's your cold call of the week, Manny?
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: My cold matchup is gonna be the Colts versus the Pats.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's just it's gonna be uh a miserable game.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, uh, I don't even know if it's in New England or not, but hopefully it's it's in in Indianapolis because it's an indoor stadium, because the weather would be brutal.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: So that would definitely be a game I'm not loving to start.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Actually, it is gonna be in New England.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: So um looks like the weather should be all right, but it it's 42 point over, it's just uh a terrible game that's gonna be hard to watch, I think.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Especially as a Jonathan Taylor owner, yeah, and and as we were saying earlier, a couple wide receivers uh did not practice today, so it could be a good game for Pittman, but I don't think that's gonna be a high-scoring game at all.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: And Anthony Rick Richardson is you know a coin flip.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: If I would keep him on your bench, if you don't have a better option, I guess you could play him and cross your fingers, but that's that's not gonna make me comfortable at all putting him in my lineup.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: And is there anyone even talk about on New England for real?
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, Ramondre Stevenson, boom or bust, but the the last game was a super bust.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: The last, I mean, he's had a lot of busts in recent weeks, and if he gets the volume and finds the end zone, he can be a flex play, but you're still putting him in there like shaking your head, like damn, not expecting much.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, hoping for that ceiling.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Now, my cold call, I'm actually going with the 10-1 Chiefs versus the Las Vegas Raiders, who are two and nine.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: The game script is why I think this is gonna be so cold.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: And there's also a few issues.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Issues with the starters on the Chiefs because Pacheco is coming back, allegedly.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: So it'll probably be a committee with him and Hunt.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: So Kareem Hunt, who's been great, you're not putting him in with the same confidence that you did in previous weeks.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: So both of those running backs being in brings them down a peg.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Now I think Pacheco's gonna take over, but not in the next couple weeks.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Um, obviously, Mahomes, he's been looking much better, and Kelsey's a must-start.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: There's no doubt about that.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: But also the Chiefs' wide receivers have been incredibly inconsistent all season.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: You know, Xavier Worthy, uh, he's had a couple big games, and that's great.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: DeAndre Hopkins had a couple big games, that's great, but they really are like a roll of the dice.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: And I expected DeAndre Hopkins to be a lot more consistent.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: He is getting targets, um, but he he's kind of one of those guys that needs volume or the end zone, too.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: So the only must-starts on the Chiefs, as far as I'm concerned, this week are Mahomes and Kelsey.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Everyone else, you're gonna have to wait and see um what the playoffs bring.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: And then with the Raiders, of course, you got Bowers.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: He's great, he's a must-start.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Um, but you got issues at running back right now.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: You know, we don't know if Madison's playing.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Madison was never a must-start, but he was a guy that would get you at least a solid 10 or 12.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: And if he's out, you know, I would put in Amir Abdullah.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: But again, what I mentioned is the game script.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: And this is what I see happening.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: The Chiefs getting up by like two scores, maybe even more, and just grinding it out.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: And they're gonna grind it out with Kareem Hunt, possibly bring in Pacheco for some carries.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: But I just see them getting up with a good lead on the Raiders.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: The Raiders trying to chuck the ball to Jacoby Myers or Brock Bowers, maybe getting some big plays out of those guys, but altogether, I see a low-scoring game and a one-sided game that's gonna lead to just heavy run, heavy defensive battle, and and really not a lot of offense.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I could definitely see that.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Um, a really good prop for the Raiders game, Aiden O'Connell.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: They have him an over-under of 36 passing attempts.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: I don't think the Chiefs are gonna let him throw 36 times.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: Uh, so I took the under on that one.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: So that's actually a pretty good one for you guys out there.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: On the Chiefs, I didn't really find any good ones.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: Some of them included you know, Kareem Hunt, the other ones were the wide receivers, and the problem with the Chiefs are, man, you just don't know which wide receiver is gonna get it, right?
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: I know Noah Gray.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, besides Kelsey, like you said, there's just not really any options there.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: And it's the same old story every year.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, could even maybe even Juju steps up again.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I wouldn't do that, but uh just that's what I'm saying.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: You just don't know.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: I think it would most likely be the Andre Hopkins, but yeah, his his yardage total is 38 and a half.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: That one I was a little bit skeptical on, but I think he could get the over on 30 and a half.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: He just only hit it twice in the last four weeks, so you know that's uh you know, that's a little bit worrying, worrisome.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: They know what they're doing when they set those lines, that's for sure.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, it's crazy how close they get.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: Crazy.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: And now for a shit call the week.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: Joe, where what was your shit call of the week?
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Well, we're gonna go back to just a shit call that I made a long time ago that I've been watching unfold.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: And it's not due to the injury.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Um, Zach Moss.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: I basically said it was Zach Moss's backfield.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: I wasn't thinking about Chase Brown.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: As soon as I saw Moss getting the volume and I saw him finding the end zone, I kind of wrote off Chase Brown.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: And before the neck injury, Chase Brown was out there lighting up the field.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: It was his backfield for a couple weeks before Zach Moss got that neck injury.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: So I, you know, if you've looked at Chase Brown basically for the last six to eight weeks, he's been incredible.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: And during the first month of the season, I said that's Zach Moss's backfield.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: You know, I didn't say you could drop Chase Brown because of course what we were just saying, you want to always keep your handcuffs, but he was like at the bottom of the bench, an afterthought for me.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: And I actually did drop him in a couple leagues, and uh definitely regret that when you see what he's been doing.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I can tell how see how you feel shitty after that.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: You know, you're a big Zach Moss report, you know, I love Zach Moss, and you know, maybe that was part of it is you know, he holds a special place in my heart because he won me a couple leagues last year, but hey, yeah, um he did good last year.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean uh I I like him, I felt like he was an underrated running back.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: Um, but it was a little bit of a committee, and then it was Chase Brown's backfield.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: So I was I was wrong about Zach Moss.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: Sorry, man.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: Can't be right all the time.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: No.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Uh now for my shit call of the week, it obviously it's a shit call.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: We're just gonna call it the shit call, right?
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Because we're going back to regrets we have during the season.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: Now, my shit call, and I'm gonna say this out loud in front of you guys, I was really bullish on Jonathan Taylor this year.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: He's had some good games scattered throughout the season, but he has missed more games than he has played.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: And I had him going as high as six overall when I had my sixth pick, I grabbed Jonathan Taylor.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: And I've had you know six or later this year, and I can honestly tell you that you know, between six and ten, grabbing him was a big regret of mine.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: You know, I hope that that changes uh here, and I don't feel as as dumb about the call, but um I only have him in one out of the four leagues I had him in originally, so as you can see, I managed to get rid of him in most leagues.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: You know, I was you're not the only one.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: I was pretty high on him too.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: And I was trying when he had a couple down weeks, I was trying to get him, and people still didn't want to trade him.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: So, you know, everyone saw the value there.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: I was going after him.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: I'm like, damn, he's had two bad weeks in a row.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Now I can get him.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: No, people still had faith in him.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know if it's coaching to blame or quarterback play, but um yeah, he's he's definitely been a letdown.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: Welcome back, ballers.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: Uh this the part of the day that you guys love so much.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: Your favorite part is when you get to cut our freaking voices off and you end the show and you don't continue to binge watch our episodes because it's old news.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: So we do appreciate all of your support.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: Joe, do you have any uh any updates for these guys as far as how the schedule is gonna be next couple weeks?
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: No, I mean, you know, we're gonna keep you tuned in as much as we can.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: Happy Thanksgiving.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: Enjoy time with your family, enjoy time watching football, and we'll see you next week.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: All right, folks.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: You take care.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: Same time, same place.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: It's a pleasure seeing you again.
