Two North Carolina elementary schools, C.F. Pope and South Topsail, are reopening August 24th despite lingering mold concerns — with three affected classrooms still closed for targeted cleanup and air testing. At C.F. Pope, hallway air quality has improved, but two second-grade rooms remain sealed while students and staff are relocated to unaffected areas with independent HVAC systems.
