Zoo Offers Free Admission for Fire-Affected Communities | Eureka News
Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka is offering free admission to residents in fire-affected ZIP codes—Hoopa, Willow Creek, Orleans, Weaverville, Hayfork, Hyampom—through August, plus firefighters get free entry with a guest all through September. This heartfelt gesture helps locals escape smoke and heat while honoring the brave first responders protecting communities and wildlands. As California’s oldest zoo, it’s also a conservation hub with 150+ animals across 50+ species and its iconic Redwood Sky Walk. Don’t miss it if you’re in an eligible area—or show your support to those on the front lines…
