- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by DraftKings.
- 0:12Speaker 2: The crown is yours.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I'm Brandon Kravitz, joined by my faves Kendra and Stucky
- 0:18Speaker 1: for a fun filled, picks filled Thursday show. On today's episode,
- 0:23Speaker 1: we'll submit our official plays for week six in the NFL.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We've got our stat of the week, our two Kings,
- 0:29Speaker 1: and a Queen parlay, some public darlings that you need
- 0:32Speaker 1: to be aware of, like and subscribe wherever it is
- 0:35Speaker 1: that you are tuned in. Guys, I feel calm and
- 0:39Speaker 1: confident about my picks this week. All the teams that
- 0:42Speaker 1: I'm betting on, all the bets have already been placed.
- 0:46Speaker 1: We are pencils down here at the Kravitz household, likely troubling. Kendra,
- 0:50Speaker 1: how do you feel as we enter week six?
- 0:52Speaker 3: I don't feel good. I don't feel good.
- 0:55Speaker 4: This has to be one of the weirdest seasons in
- 0:58Speaker 4: my recent memory. From like a gamble perspective, the spreads
- 1:02Speaker 4: for like weeks four.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Through six have been so massive for so so many teams.
- 1:07Speaker 4: It's got to be like I would say probably two
- 1:09Speaker 4: thirds of the league feel like some of these spreads
- 1:11Speaker 4: are getting to be like college numbers. And I have
- 1:14Speaker 4: to say I think the Seahawks are gonna beat my
- 1:16Speaker 4: dag Wars this week.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I've been saying that though it's.
- 1:19Speaker 1: One game, I've not made a bit on Stucky. How
- 1:21Speaker 1: do you feel heading into Week six? Confident, unsure, dis maade.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Same as always. I mean, just do the work. We've
- 1:29Speaker 5: doing this for being in the NFL for twenty years.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Do work and then Sunday comes, enjoy it and hope
- 1:37Speaker 5: you get the bounces. Like a lot of times, it's
- 1:38Speaker 5: just gonna come down to turnover margin, some fourth downs.
- 1:42Speaker 5: It's a gameplay with the oblong ball. You know, you
- 1:46Speaker 5: hope the injuries in game break right for you. So yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 5: just do the work, complete the grind, enjoy Sundays, and
- 1:53Speaker 5: hope the bounces, late game variants, field goals, all that's
- 1:57Speaker 5: all that stuff. The reason why we love sweat foot
- 2:01Speaker 5: goes your way.
- 2:01Speaker 2: So that you sound like a sports betting monk.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I will say. I mean, I will say, like,
- 2:09Speaker 5: the one thing that I'm not confident about this week
- 2:12Speaker 5: is there are just a ton of injuries. I Mean,
- 2:15Speaker 5: this happens every year, but there's just a lot of
- 2:18Speaker 5: cluster injuries across the board, which which opens up uncertainty
- 2:23Speaker 5: and chances to potentially capitalize if you're able to price them.
- 2:26Speaker 5: But it's not easy. But you know, you look at
- 2:30Speaker 5: things like the Chargers offensive line, the Ravens defense, the
- 2:36Speaker 5: Lion's secondary. There are just countless examples across the board
- 2:42Speaker 5: of major injuries. And it's not just one guy, it's
- 2:46Speaker 5: multiple guys, and that's definitely makes it a bit tougher.
- 2:51Speaker 5: But it's a labor of love. So trying to crack
- 2:54Speaker 5: the code, which you'll never master, is why I love this.
- 2:58Speaker 5: So yeah, not too high or too low, just trying
- 3:03Speaker 5: to grind through the week.
- 3:04Speaker 1: We've definitely picked the most difficult sport to bet, but
- 3:08Speaker 1: here we are taking it head on.
- 3:10Speaker 2: We've got a lot of meat.
- 3:11Speaker 3: One's pretty tough.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I've never bet F one, so.
- 3:14Speaker 5: I place one once.
- 3:19Speaker 2: What makes F one so hard?
- 3:20Speaker 1: I thought the same, I thought Max verst Stappen wins
- 3:22Speaker 1: every weekk have you not.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Been watching in like sixteen months?
- 3:27Speaker 4: I would say the hardest thing about F one is
- 3:29Speaker 4: that it's not about you. Like if you get a
- 3:32Speaker 4: bad start off the jump and somebody hits you like
- 3:34Speaker 4: a lot of it's not in your control. It's in
- 3:36Speaker 4: other people's control of Like sometimes who hits you? How
- 3:39Speaker 4: many people get in an accident your pit crew being
- 3:42Speaker 4: able to get like a bolt off of a car
- 3:44Speaker 4: can cost you like two or three seconds. Like F
- 3:46Speaker 4: one is the hardest bet that I make every single week,
- 3:50Speaker 4: but it's there.
- 3:52Speaker 3: NFL definitely close.
- 3:53Speaker 4: But F one not even a question, just because there's
- 3:56Speaker 4: so many people that are hands on with the sport
- 3:59Speaker 4: that it's not just my best guys against your best guys.
- 4:03Speaker 4: It's like, is my mechanic? Is my machinery working? When
- 4:06Speaker 4: you put machinery in something, it gets a lot trick here.
- 4:08Speaker 1: That's true. The cars do add a variable. Uh stat
- 4:11Speaker 1: That's what.
- 4:12Speaker 5: I've never gotten into. Like I tried to watch one.
- 4:14Speaker 3: That's the best watch Drive to Survive.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Yeah. I feel like the best part about F one
- 4:19Speaker 5: is everything surrounding the sport, Like you have you know,
- 4:23Speaker 5: like all the celebrities go to all the the back
- 4:26Speaker 5: and forth on like trying to get drivers, building out
- 4:28Speaker 5: of the cars, the drama, the celebrity of the drivers,
- 4:34Speaker 5: the you know, the the manufacturers, Like what goes into
- 4:40Speaker 5: giving getting an advantage on that end, Like I found
- 4:43Speaker 5: the ship, the shows and the content around it more
- 4:45Speaker 5: interesting than actually watching a race, but I will say
- 4:49Speaker 5: I don't fully. I don't spend time trying to understand it.
- 4:51Speaker 5: So I'm sure if you, yeah, understood all that stuff,
- 4:53Speaker 5: it would make it more interesting. But it's just I don't.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yeah. I like it because there's only twenty people, so
- 4:58Speaker 4: you only have to keep up with twenty p people.
- 5:00Speaker 4: That's you know less than like us, the starters for
- 5:02Speaker 4: an NFL team, and you get to know them so
- 5:04Speaker 4: deeply that you learn to care about them a lot.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't. I think this is above my pay grade.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But Kendra, I would love to see some sort of
- 5:12Speaker 1: social video where you asked our audience what is the
- 5:17Speaker 1: toughest sport to bet on? Because I feel like most
- 5:19Speaker 1: would say the NFL. But I guess there's dissenting opinions
- 5:22Speaker 1: out there.
- 5:22Speaker 3: We found my video for today. Okay, great ook at Gifford.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Before we move on from this completely stat hoound Evan Abrams,
- 5:29Speaker 1: where do you land on betting F one?
- 5:31Speaker 6: Nobody passes anyone.
- 5:32Speaker 7: I'd like to talk to somebody who bets on NASCAR,
- 5:35Speaker 7: like Nick Giffin.
- 5:35Speaker 6: I feel like it's much harder. I've done both.
- 5:38Speaker 7: I feel like f one's easier because the odds are
- 5:40Speaker 7: more predictable and things change with practices.
- 5:43Speaker 6: All say with that.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I'll say I think the hardest. I
- 5:46Speaker 5: think a lot of people might say NFL is probably
- 5:48Speaker 5: the most difficult as far as from an efficiency standpoint.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Just the amount of money that gets bet into the
- 5:55Speaker 5: NFL is massive.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Is your tenfoil hat on right now?
- 6:00Speaker 5: So but no, I'm saying, but like people are a
- 6:02Speaker 5: lot of people. Most people are betting NFL casually, and
- 6:03Speaker 5: it's like once a couple of days, times a week.
- 6:06Speaker 5: People that try to do that casually and try to
- 6:09Speaker 5: bet like baseball, the grind of baseball, that might be
- 6:12Speaker 5: the most difficult, like dealing with the swings and the
- 6:14Speaker 5: bad beats and trying to do that every day. You know,
- 6:16Speaker 5: you can say a thing about NHL and but yeah,
- 6:20Speaker 5: that it depends on how you frame.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It, Stucky, This is where I passed things off to
- 6:25Speaker 1: you on a Thursday episode.
- 6:26Speaker 2: What do you want to hit us with today?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Hey, this is a dumb question.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Let me ask you a personal question kind of question.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Is that is question?
- 6:37Speaker 7: All right?
- 6:38Speaker 5: My questions for today? You have to answer right away
- 6:42Speaker 5: because like it'll it gets to the essence of the question.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Kendra'll start with you and Brandon. I'm gonna trust that
- 6:49Speaker 5: you are going to give me your answer. You thought
- 6:50Speaker 5: of right away. You unfortunately went into a coma for
- 6:54Speaker 5: ten years and you woke up and everything was okay.
- 6:59Speaker 5: You had your memory, all of your thoughts, your health.
- 7:02Speaker 5: What is the first sports related thing that you google?
- 7:06Speaker 3: Did the Jaguars win a Super Bowl?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Oh?
- 7:08Speaker 5: You already you know the answer to that is no,
- 7:09Speaker 5: So that would be I thought about. For me, Yeah,
- 7:13Speaker 5: I thought about like the Ravens of the Super Bowl?
- 7:16Speaker 5: But I think that I would go the most interesting
- 7:18Speaker 5: thing that I would be most interested in two things,
- 7:21Speaker 5: like college wise, One is like what does the NCAA
- 7:24Speaker 5: tournament look like? Now? But I think I would look
- 7:29Speaker 5: at I would just google the current college football season
- 7:34Speaker 5: or depending on like the timing, to see like what
- 7:36Speaker 5: do the conferences look like? What does the what does
- 7:38Speaker 5: the college football Playoff look like? Who are the best teams?
- 7:42Speaker 6: Like?
- 7:43Speaker 5: Who knows where college football is going to be in
- 7:45Speaker 5: ten years? So like that's probably what I would look up. Brandon,
- 7:49Speaker 5: what was the first thing that you thought of? Did
- 7:51Speaker 5: the Dolphins? The Dolphins finally want a playoff game.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know, you know if, And that's one
- 7:55Speaker 1: of those things that if I had time to come
- 7:58Speaker 1: up with the best possible answer, I would probably get there.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But you said you wanted. The first thing that's snapped
- 8:02Speaker 1: into my brain, and it was checking my fantasy lineup
- 8:06Speaker 1: just to see if if my if my lineup is
- 8:09Speaker 1: still relevant, or if i've auto drafted, you know, when
- 8:13Speaker 1: we've missed ten years at this point, I'd want to
- 8:15Speaker 1: see how I stacked up before, especially in my keeper league,
- 8:19Speaker 1: to see how long my team was still successful before
- 8:22Speaker 1: eventually these guys aged out.
- 8:24Speaker 2: So I think that fantasy app would be the first
- 8:26Speaker 2: thing I would check later.
- 8:30Speaker 5: That's that's a terrible answer.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that's well.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I mean, I assume that the team wouldn't still be good,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but I would hope, let.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Me see what my fantasy team looks like now from
- 8:40Speaker 5: ten to guys from ten years ago those but.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I would be auto drafting, you know, I would hope
- 8:46Speaker 1: that my league made you.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Want is what the auto drafted?
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to know.
- 8:53Speaker 5: The doctors want to know, Evan, what what did what?
- 8:58Speaker 5: Would did you have any thoughts?
- 9:00Speaker 7: My only comment is I've been in a fantasy league
- 9:02Speaker 7: for fourteen years and ten years ago, I kept a
- 9:05Speaker 7: guy named Jordan Cameron, so I'm assuming my fantasy team
- 9:08Speaker 7: would be pretty terrible. My answer was simple. I actually
- 9:11Speaker 7: the first thing that popped into my head was is
- 9:13Speaker 7: Lebron still playing? So I guess that's what's in my brand.
- 9:16Speaker 7: So that was the first thing I thought of.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Let's talk seafood.
- 9:20Speaker 1: There are shrimply unbelievable stat of the week courtesy of
- 9:23Speaker 1: Action Network Director of Research Evan Abrams.
- 9:26Speaker 2: With some help from the Rainbow Shrimp.
- 9:28Speaker 1: The Jaguars off of a short week after facing the
- 9:32Speaker 1: Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The last decade, teams that
- 9:35Speaker 1: were home underdogs on Monday Night Football have struggled the
- 9:38Speaker 1: following week putting together a good effort. They are twenty
- 9:41Speaker 1: six and forty two straight up, thirty and thirty eight
- 9:44Speaker 1: against the spread in those games. That's forty four percent
- 9:47Speaker 1: winning as an underdog on Monday Night Football and then
- 9:50Speaker 1: that quick turnaround. But we have some competing stats here.
- 9:55Speaker 1: The Jaguars are also nine and four against the spread.
- 9:57Speaker 1: With Trevor Lawrence in a game where he wins, this
- 10:00Speaker 1: is an outright underdog the game prior so we have
- 10:03Speaker 1: some conflicting stats here.
- 10:06Speaker 2: This is one that we were really.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Stuck on on the Tuesday episode. I have not placed
- 10:11Speaker 1: a bet on this game. For me, it would be Seahawks,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but I also think I might not be buying into
- 10:16Speaker 1: the Jaguars quite enough, so I think I'm gonna sit
- 10:19Speaker 1: this one out.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I got a lot of bets that I do like
- 10:21Speaker 2: this week, Stucky.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Where are you at on Jags Seahawks and the numbers
- 10:27Speaker 1: that we just spat out?
- 10:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I bet the Seahawks. This is a Jags podcast.
- 10:32Speaker 5: I'm all in on the Jags this year. I bet
- 10:34Speaker 5: that nothing but the Jags so far. But I think
- 10:36Speaker 5: this is a good spot for the Seahawks, who have
- 10:37Speaker 5: been really good on the road under Mike McDonald. You
- 10:40Speaker 5: have short week for Jacksonville with some key injuries, like
- 10:42Speaker 5: the offensive line is an healthy Bremans Strange, I think
- 10:44Speaker 5: is a big loss, especially in the red zone.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Huge security blanket probably.
- 10:48Speaker 5: Sits another week if he didn't play this week or
- 10:52Speaker 5: last week. I should say they weren't able to get
- 10:54Speaker 5: any pressure because it's so much easier to just focus
- 10:56Speaker 5: your attention on Josh Hanz Allen and and you saw
- 11:00Speaker 5: that against Mahomes he had all day. And it's not
- 11:02Speaker 5: a great Kansas City offensive line at the tackle positions.
- 11:08Speaker 5: And what does Jacksonville do in the back end. They
- 11:09Speaker 5: play zone, so like not being able to get pressure
- 11:12Speaker 5: playing zone. Sam Donald is playing at an unbelievable level.
- 11:15Speaker 5: I mean, he's number one in the league in success
- 11:16Speaker 5: ray A VPA for play EPA plus completion percentage of expectation.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Lawrence has been around the middle of the pack like that.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Jacksonville offense is starting to get there, it's not at
- 11:27Speaker 5: the level that Seattle has been. Donald's playing incredible, and
- 11:29Speaker 5: he's been number one in the NFL against zone defense,
- 11:31Speaker 5: which is what Jacksonville is going to play a lot
- 11:33Speaker 5: of this The one thing that gives me a little
- 11:36Speaker 5: bit of pause is Seattle's defense. Another one of these
- 11:40Speaker 5: injury situations on the back end. We'll see if DeMarcus
- 11:42Speaker 5: Lawrence can go. But they were without three starters in
- 11:45Speaker 5: the secondary last week against the Bucks. I think that
- 11:48Speaker 5: they will probably get two of at least two of
- 11:52Speaker 5: the four guys back, which will be enough for me.
- 11:55Speaker 5: So I did play Seattle. I think it's a pretty
- 11:57Speaker 5: good matchup in spot but I do respect the Jags,
- 12:02Speaker 5: but there's there's also some potential turnover regression coming for Jacksonville.
- 12:05Speaker 5: They can't They're eventually got to have a game where
- 12:07Speaker 5: they're not going to get a pick six or three
- 12:09Speaker 5: or four turnovers. So as Kenzer had that feeling as
- 12:13Speaker 5: a Jags fan, they're gonna if they beat the Chiefs.
- 12:17Speaker 4: And I'm going to this game, so of course that's
- 12:20Speaker 4: just gonna happen.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Well, you got that, you have the dear Joy in
- 12:23Speaker 5: San Francisco, but I don't think I think it'll be close.
- 12:26Speaker 5: But I like the matchup for Seattle on this spot,
- 12:29Speaker 5: So yeah, I did play the Seahawks.
- 12:31Speaker 1: The turnover differential of these two teams plus nine in
- 12:34Speaker 1: favor of the Jacksonville Jaguars. You mentioned the regression, I
- 12:38Speaker 1: mean that is that is strong. And the luck rankings
- 12:41Speaker 1: also from Nick Giffen, which we will reference throughout the
- 12:44Speaker 1: course of the podcast today favor the Seahawks. The Seahawks
- 12:47Speaker 1: are ranked twenty fourth, the Jags are up to fifth.
- 12:50Speaker 1: No surprise, leballer on the road, and the yeah, I mean,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I mean you could just I test the Jags in
- 12:57Speaker 1: terms of a luck ranking. Their quarterback literally fell down
- 13:01Speaker 1: and then baby Diraft into the end zone. There at
- 13:05Speaker 1: the end of the game, still become our two Kings
- 13:07Speaker 1: and a Queen Parlay will nominate our weekly picks. But

- 13:43Speaker 2: The crown is yours.
- 13:45Speaker 1: A segment that I always relish. Kendra, what game has
- 13:50Speaker 1: you in a pickle?
- 13:53Speaker 3: We're in a pickle?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Now, I'm really in a pickle?
- 13:55Speaker 7: Now?
- 13:56Speaker 5: All right, look we're in a pickle again.
- 14:01Speaker 3: It's the Chiefs Lions game.
- 14:02Speaker 4: For obvious reasons, the Lions are so injured, a lot
- 14:07Speaker 4: of people questionable on the defense for them. Offense too,
- 14:10Speaker 4: more so concerned about the defense for me. But the Chiefs,
- 14:13Speaker 4: they just lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their entire fan
- 14:16Speaker 4: base is having a freaking melt down. It's a short
- 14:18Speaker 4: week for them, but they're relatively healthy in comparison. You
- 14:20Speaker 4: could talk about some of their you know, ir issues
- 14:23Speaker 4: or whatever. But they have to turn this around at
- 14:25Speaker 4: some point, right like the Chiefs have the chief we
- 14:28Speaker 4: have to expect Patrick Mahomes and them getting healthier, of
- 14:31Speaker 4: them getting players back from you know, suspension coming soon, whatever.
- 14:35Speaker 4: They have to turn this around. I just this doesn't
- 14:39Speaker 4: feel like a great spot for the Lions. It feels
- 14:41Speaker 4: like a good spot for the Chiefs. But how how
- 14:43Speaker 4: with the Lions how they've been playing. Am I supposed
- 14:45Speaker 4: to put any stock in that? They're obviously injured this
- 14:48Speaker 4: game for playoff reasons for both sides NFCAFC. Sure they're different,
- 14:53Speaker 4: not the biggest game in the world, not divisional, nothing
- 14:55Speaker 4: like that. But I feel like it's a spot for
- 14:57Speaker 4: can the Lions keep this rolling or can the chief
- 15:00Speaker 4: maybe turn their season around. I just don't know which
- 15:03Speaker 4: side to be on here, because the Lions have been
- 15:05Speaker 4: absolute world beaters, But the Chiefs still are the Chiefs.
- 15:08Speaker 3: You know, when the Jags went.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Up the other night, I was like, there's still time
- 15:11Speaker 4: on the clock. It doesn't matter if Patrick Mahomes has
- 15:13Speaker 4: two minutes or two seconds. It's always scary when he's
- 15:16Speaker 4: playing this game. I do not know where to be.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I think a lot of people are gonna look at
- 15:22Speaker 1: it in that same sort of way, because this line,
- 15:24Speaker 1: for a lot of people is gonna look mysterious. The
- 15:28Speaker 1: Lions plus two and a half against anybody looks like
- 15:32Speaker 1: a gift from the gods.
- 15:34Speaker 2: But I think I saw it in the docks.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm sort of cheating ahead, but Stucky, I think you
- 15:41Speaker 1: and I are going to be on the same of
- 15:43Speaker 1: the same mindset here that this is the honey trap
- 15:46Speaker 1: of all honey traps. That you get the Lions of
- 15:48Speaker 1: plus two and a half, all the cluster injuries they're
- 15:50Speaker 1: dealing with in the secondary, and the Chiefs offense has
- 15:52Speaker 1: been pretty good twenty nine points per game over the
- 15:55Speaker 1: last three And we'll talk about some public darlings in
- 15:58Speaker 1: a moment. The Lions are one of them. The bets
- 16:02Speaker 1: on the Detroit Lions. That is a heavy, heavy public
- 16:05Speaker 1: side stuck you where you out on this.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I played the Chiefs. I like the Chiefs here.
- 16:10Speaker 5: I'm a believer in that offense. Now, after what I
- 16:12Speaker 5: saw last week with worthy back Thornton, I think is
- 16:15Speaker 5: the real deal. They had a sixty four percent success rate,
- 16:18Speaker 5: which is that's the highest of any game this year
- 16:21Speaker 5: by any team against Jacksonville last week, and Detroit has
- 16:25Speaker 5: they had no corners left, their safeties are banged up,
- 16:27Speaker 5: and you have to keep in mind at this Detroit team. Yes,
- 16:30Speaker 5: they've looked good over the past four weeks, but for
- 16:35Speaker 5: somemadded context. Remember they got blown out at Green Bay
- 16:39Speaker 5: to start the year and everyone wrote them off. Now
- 16:40Speaker 5: everyone is penciling in the Super Bowl. They beat the
- 16:43Speaker 5: Bears at home without their entire secondary. They beat the
- 16:47Speaker 5: Ravens and their current state of their defense, which is
- 16:51Speaker 5: a disaster and probably the worst defense in the league.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Then they beat the Browns with Joe Flacco, who was
- 16:57Speaker 5: so bad that he got traded to the Bank. Oh
- 17:00Speaker 5: and guess what, They beat the Bengals with Jake Browning
- 17:04Speaker 5: and who was so bad that the Bengals traded for
- 17:06Speaker 5: Joe Flacco, who was so bad in Cleveland that he
- 17:08Speaker 5: got benched for Dylan Gabriel. That's who they played the
- 17:11Speaker 5: last four weeks. They're in the tank. Ravens, the Bears
- 17:16Speaker 5: were two of the most injured defenses in the league.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Then the Browns and Bengals, who have swapped backup quarterbacks
- 17:23Speaker 5: in the two weeks since. So like, let's let's pause
- 17:27Speaker 5: for a moment here, and you just throw all those
- 17:30Speaker 5: injuries in, like the offense might not even be fully
- 17:32Speaker 5: healthy as well. And because of all the cluster injuries
- 17:36Speaker 5: on the back end for Detroit, what are they going
- 17:39Speaker 5: to do?
- 17:40Speaker 6: They?
- 17:40Speaker 5: I mean, they blitz a lot. You don't want to
- 17:41Speaker 5: blitz Mahomes. They usually play man. Mahomes has struggled against
- 17:46Speaker 5: more man this year. But they can't play man with
- 17:48Speaker 5: their corners that they have against all that chief speed
- 17:50Speaker 5: with all their backup corners. So what they do last
- 17:52Speaker 5: week they played more zone. I expect them to do
- 17:55Speaker 5: that this week playing zone against Mahomes with backup corner.
- 18:00Speaker 5: I don't know what Detroit can really do here. So yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 5: the troutll has success running the ball, but this is
- 18:07Speaker 5: a great get right, you know, save your season spot
- 18:11Speaker 5: for Kansas City against what I think is an overvalue
- 18:14Speaker 5: to Troy team that's benefited so much from who their
- 18:17Speaker 5: opponents were, who the quarterbacks, they face, the injuries that
- 18:20Speaker 5: they've benefited from. Now they're the team that's dealing with
- 18:23Speaker 5: all the injuries and they're going up against one of
- 18:25Speaker 5: the better quarterbacks in the NFL. So yeah, I like
- 18:28Speaker 5: Kansas City here anything under a field goal?
- 18:31Speaker 2: Do anything for you, Kendra? Do we sway you?
- 18:33Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 18:33Speaker 4: That kind of a little bit, honestly, Yeah, a little bit,
- 18:37Speaker 4: because I do agree. It feels like this has to
- 18:40Speaker 4: be like the Chiefs save our season moment. Like I said,
- 18:42Speaker 4: I know that it's an NFC opponent and not a
- 18:44Speaker 4: divisional or AFC or anything like that, but even just
- 18:46Speaker 4: from like a raw rob we're back situation.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Are they on the buy next week?
- 18:52Speaker 2: They play the Raiders next week?
- 18:53Speaker 4: Because the Lions have a look ahead, and you can
- 18:55Speaker 4: call it a look at you can't look ahead past
- 18:57Speaker 4: the Chiefs. But going from the Chiefs to the box
- 19:00Speaker 4: their Monday night next week, that's still like a little
- 19:02Speaker 4: bit of a distraction factor to me. But I didn't
- 19:06Speaker 4: know who the Chiefs played, so and they'll they'll have
- 19:09Speaker 4: the Chiefs. The Chiefs will be completely back next week.
- 19:11Speaker 4: So it is it's a get right, get right spot
- 19:15Speaker 4: of all get right spots for them.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Listen, if we're gonna look a week ahead, the Raiders
- 19:18Speaker 1: consistently cover the spread against the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 19:21Speaker 2: If the Chiefs beat the.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Lions, then all of a sudden, everybody loves the Chiefs again.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Then they play the Raiders, and the Raiders have been terrible,
- 19:30Speaker 1: So let's keep an eye on that.
- 19:31Speaker 5: For they have a pulse this week.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Against the Titans.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Yeah, against the Titans, and I mean cold Miller's loss
- 19:38Speaker 5: is huge for them at left tackle. We'll see in
- 19:40Speaker 5: the status of Rock Bowers.
- 19:43Speaker 3: I don't think he should play, Yeah, but.
- 19:45Speaker 5: If he's definitely not at one hundred percent, but we'll
- 19:47Speaker 5: see if they If he plays this week, he would
- 19:52Speaker 5: have a massive, massive matchup advantages for Tennessee. But yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 5: he doesn't look like the old Rock Bowers. But if
- 19:58Speaker 5: he does play, we'll see what he looks like because
- 20:00Speaker 5: obviously the Raiders would need him against Kansas City. But yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 5: the Raiders have been a mass think about this is
- 20:07Speaker 5: how quick things can change in the NFL, and like,
- 20:10Speaker 5: just stay the course, don't overreact. For the most part,
- 20:14Speaker 5: week one, We're all this uncertainty about the Patriots and
- 20:21Speaker 5: everyone was like, Ooh, the Raiders are going to be sneaky.
- 20:23Speaker 5: The Raiders go into New England across the country beat
- 20:26Speaker 5: them pretty soundly. Everyone says, ah, Patriots, they stink the Raiders.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Is this a playoff team? Fast forward a month later,
- 20:36Speaker 5: the Patriots win in Buffalo, are now significant favorites to
- 20:41Speaker 5: make the playoffs, and the Raiders are getting bet against,
- 20:44Speaker 5: Like people know the final score at home against the
- 20:48Speaker 5: Titans and they look like the most dysfunctional team in
- 20:53Speaker 5: the NFL. Crazy how those teams have kind of reversed
- 20:58Speaker 5: roles since Week one when the Raiders won in Foxborough.
- 21:02Speaker 1: This will surprise nobody that of the Sunday games, Action
- 21:06Speaker 1: Network is tracking that the Titans Raiders is the least
- 21:10Speaker 1: bet on Sunday game in the NFL. I don't think
- 21:13Speaker 1: anybody wants to touch that. Also, according to Action Network
- 21:17Speaker 1: betting data, teams with sixty percent of the tickets continue
- 21:21Speaker 1: to fail the public out there this season thirteen and
- 21:24Speaker 1: thirty against the spread through five weeks. Teams with seventy
- 21:28Speaker 1: percent of the tickets the Lions qualify for that. By
- 21:30Speaker 1: the way, are three to thirteen ats, including zero and
- 21:34Speaker 1: seven against the spread. If that team with more than
- 21:37Speaker 1: seventy percent of the tickets is playing at home, buyer
- 21:41Speaker 1: beware on the following teams. Eagles tonight against the Giants,
- 21:46Speaker 1: Cowboys sixty three percent of the bets.
- 21:49Speaker 2: The Seahawks, which I was.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Surprised to see because the Jags just beat the Chiefs
- 21:52Speaker 1: on Monday Night Football, They're sitting at seventy three percent,
- 21:56Speaker 1: the Steelers at sixty four percent. We already talked about
- 21:58Speaker 1: the Lions, the Bills at sixty nine against the Atlanta Falcons,
- 22:01Speaker 1: and the Patriots, who everybody loves again at sixty one percent.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Also shout out to the Luck Rankings presented by Nick
- 22:10Speaker 1: Giffen week to week.
- 22:11Speaker 2: You guys have to check this out.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Giants Eagles is the biggest luck rankings game that's out there.
- 22:16Speaker 1: The Eagles rank second in the Luck Rankings. The Giants
- 22:19Speaker 1: are at thirtieth. That's a twenty eight spot difference. So
- 22:21Speaker 1: we don't want to spend too much time on this
- 22:23Speaker 1: because I think most that are consuming this podcast are
- 22:26Speaker 1: probably listening to it around the time that this game
- 22:28Speaker 1: is either starting or is already wrapped up. But does
- 22:31Speaker 1: anybody have anything on the Thursday Night football game?
- 22:35Speaker 5: Thursday Night Football.
- 22:37Speaker 4: I don't know where to be with this game. I
- 22:38Speaker 4: feel like the number has just gotten too big. Giants
- 22:41Speaker 4: got embarrassed last week.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Eagles.
- 22:43Speaker 4: I've said this before. It feels like the Eagles are
- 22:46Speaker 4: the Chiefs of last year. Just everything seems to fall
- 22:49Speaker 4: in their favor. I just too much divisional game. Those
- 22:52Speaker 4: are different to me. Probably would be on the Giants
- 22:55Speaker 4: to cover the seven and a half. There's still some
- 22:57Speaker 4: of those out there, just because it's divisional. But I
- 23:00Speaker 4: can't get there the Giants. It helps that their defensive
- 23:04Speaker 4: line is good against the run, and that's what you're
- 23:07Speaker 4: gonna expect the Eagles to do.
- 23:09Speaker 3: But I just can't get there.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I played. I played the Giants tonight. It's very small.
- 23:14Speaker 5: I hate there's a night football. There's a lot of
- 23:16Speaker 5: injury uncertainty of a rookie quarterback on a short week
- 23:18Speaker 5: against the Bangio defense. But you mentioned the similarities to
- 23:23Speaker 5: the Chiefs. I mean as a whole, the Giants run
- 23:24Speaker 5: defense is bad, but the Eagles haven't been able to
- 23:26Speaker 5: run the ball this year, like Saquan is a non
- 23:29Speaker 5: factor because the offensive line is way worse, and now
- 23:32Speaker 5: there's no Landon Dickerson. I think that the Giants defensive
- 23:36Speaker 5: line can get after hurts. But you mentioned the similarities
- 23:39Speaker 5: to the Chiefs. Yeah, I mean they feel like the
- 23:42Speaker 5: new Chiefs, which means that they're incapable of building margin
- 23:46Speaker 5: against teams. And like the Chiefs for years, you just
- 23:49Speaker 5: always bet against them when they were a favorite of
- 23:51Speaker 5: definitely have seven plus, but it felt like whenever they
- 23:54Speaker 5: were a favored of over a field goal. And this
- 23:57Speaker 5: is going to be a low scoring game. These are
- 23:58Speaker 5: two slow paced teams. I mean that the Eagles are
- 24:01Speaker 5: snapping the ball with less than five seconds on the
- 24:03Speaker 5: play clock over seventy five percent of the time, like
- 24:06Speaker 5: the highest rate we've seen by a wide margin over
- 24:09Speaker 5: the last five years. Like, how are the Giants gonna
- 24:14Speaker 5: move the ball? They don't have any receivers left, but
- 24:17Speaker 5: they probably weren't gona be able to throw it against
- 24:18Speaker 5: the Eagles secondary. Anyway, you can run them the Eagles
- 24:21Speaker 5: a bit this year. You're gonna they're gonna throw their
- 24:23Speaker 5: tight ends, use the QB run game. It's not gonna
- 24:27Speaker 5: be pretty for the Giants offense. But divisional home dog
- 24:29Speaker 5: catching over a touchdown. I make this under a touchdown,
- 24:33Speaker 5: So yeah, I took the seven and a half. I
- 24:35Speaker 5: agree with them the move on the under with that
- 24:38Speaker 5: coming down so which I think it's gonna be low scoring,
- 24:40Speaker 5: which makes the seven and a half even more valuable.
- 24:42Speaker 5: And like this Eagles team, they have one half every
- 24:44Speaker 5: every week, they have one half where they just can't
- 24:46Speaker 5: do anything. So until I see more from this offense,
- 24:49Speaker 5: I did not trust this team to lay seven and
- 24:52Speaker 5: a half on the road divisional game, So yeah, I took.
- 24:55Speaker 5: I took the seven and a half with the Giants
- 24:57Speaker 5: would lean under. And when when the Eagles get a
- 25:00Speaker 5: lead against like an overmatch up point, they just sit
- 25:03Speaker 5: on the ball for like the entire thing they could have.
- 25:05Speaker 5: They could be up like they could be up ten.
- 25:09Speaker 5: In the fourth quarter, the Giants kick a field goal
- 25:13Speaker 5: to go down seven, and then the Eagles have like
- 25:15Speaker 5: a nine minute drive and end it with like knees
- 25:17Speaker 5: like that. They're just not a they don't profile is
- 25:20Speaker 5: a great favorite, similar to like what some of those
- 25:21Speaker 5: Chiefs teams used to do. So I high play the Giants.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Small random question, I know, just because this is what's
- 25:28Speaker 4: on my mind right now.
- 25:29Speaker 3: We talked about this last week. Who do you guys.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Think is the best team in the NFL right now?
- 25:33Speaker 4: Just because they're everyone is all over the place. The
- 25:37Speaker 4: Lions haven't looked good at times, the Eagles haven't looked
- 25:39Speaker 4: good at times.
- 25:39Speaker 3: The Bills just lost to the Patriots. Those were the Ravens. Suck.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Those were supposed to be the Juggernauts heading into this season.
- 25:46Speaker 3: If the Super Bowl was tomorrow.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I'm sitting here like, I don't really even know who
- 25:49Speaker 4: the best team in this league is right now. There
- 25:51Speaker 4: isn't one, which makes it entertaining, but what's going on.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I think Detroit, fully healthy, is the best team in
- 25:59Speaker 1: the NFL right now.
- 26:00Speaker 5: I would agree I think green Bay is better than Detroit.
- 26:02Speaker 5: So we can argue about that. When green Bay is
- 26:05Speaker 5: fully healthy and Detroit's healthy, I'd take green Bay over them.
- 26:08Speaker 5: I would take yeah. I mean, I mean, I can
- 26:11Speaker 5: look at my numbers, just.
- 26:14Speaker 4: A random We don't need to spend a ton of
- 26:15Speaker 4: time on it. Just the fact that there's so many injuries.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Yeah, the Ravens to me are the best team in
- 26:20Speaker 5: the NFL at full strike, which they're not the best
- 26:25Speaker 5: team in the NFL. Whoever, plays the Ravens. I mean, if
- 26:29Speaker 5: you look the best two weeks, the Texas looked like
- 26:31Speaker 5: the best team, The Lions look like the best team,
- 26:34Speaker 5: The Chiefs look like the best team soever plays. The
- 26:37Speaker 5: Ravens looks like the best team in the NFL. To me,
- 26:41Speaker 5: the Bills. So I had Ravens won two Ravens Bills
- 26:45Speaker 5: Packers coming into the year, But the Bills have not
- 26:49Speaker 5: looked great and their defenses issues and injuries. So it's
- 26:53Speaker 5: a great question. It is a like we're not talking.
- 26:56Speaker 5: There's no huge separation. There's no team that is a
- 27:01Speaker 5: step above. I mean, if you look at the market
- 27:03Speaker 5: right now, they probably have just looking at where teams
- 27:08Speaker 5: are rank based on where their teams are power rated
- 27:11Speaker 5: based on lines, like they probably have Green Bay, Philly, Chiefs, Lions,
- 27:17Speaker 5: Bills around a plus five, like I mean, five points
- 27:23Speaker 5: better than average team. And they're all within like a
- 27:27Speaker 5: point of each other. So and then there's a big
- 27:31Speaker 5: drop off because the Ravens are a shell of themselves
- 27:34Speaker 5: and hurt, but there's a drop off to them, Like
- 27:37Speaker 5: your second tier is probably.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Doctor Seattle, Tampa Bay.
- 27:42Speaker 2: San Francisco.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I think they have to be thrown into the mix
- 27:45Speaker 1: as beat up as they are and what they've still
- 27:47Speaker 1: been able to do. If we're giving teams credit for
- 27:50Speaker 1: fully healthy San Francisco even though they're not getting Bosa bad, Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 5: If San Francisco fully healthy, isn't that second tier.
- 27:57Speaker 4: I think when you throw the Chargers there too, when
- 27:59Speaker 4: they're fully healthy, ardis in fully healthy.
- 28:00Speaker 5: Broncos are up there near the.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Chargers, nobody's health.
- 28:03Speaker 4: I don't want to talk about health versus not health,
- 28:05Speaker 4: because that's not an that's.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Not you're saying. So you're saying, right everything considered.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Rams are They're close to that first here too. Right now,
- 28:15Speaker 5: at this moment, I'm taking the Packers.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah, they haven't looked right the last two weeks, but.
- 28:21Speaker 5: I mean they haven't play.
- 28:22Speaker 4: I'm still going to go Lions, despite the fact that
- 28:25Speaker 4: Dan Campbell's kind of a dummy sometimes.
- 28:27Speaker 5: Like I think, Packers now are basically fully healthy, I believe,
- 28:32Speaker 5: and I love them. They're my only Super Bowl future,
- 28:35Speaker 5: so I love them. Coming into the year, I'll go
- 28:38Speaker 5: Green Bay.
- 28:39Speaker 2: It's a it's a loaded question. It is a good one.
- 28:42Speaker 1: It's time for the reason y'all came here today are
- 28:44Speaker 1: newly named to King.
- 28:46Speaker 5: And who who would you say, Yeah, it's still the Packers.
- 28:49Speaker 7: I wish the Rams had a better secondary, and I
- 28:51Speaker 7: wish the Bucks were healthier. I would make a case
- 28:53Speaker 7: for both of them, but I still think Green May
- 28:55Speaker 7: is the best.
- 28:55Speaker 5: I mean, the Tampa's the best if they're down with
- 28:58Speaker 5: one minute to go, But I don't trust that offense.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Yeah, that offense all healthy, though, would scare the living
- 29:07Speaker 7: crap out of me from many teams. So I think
- 29:10Speaker 7: it's just hard to and I love Van like I
- 29:11Speaker 7: love things about Tampa Bay.
- 29:13Speaker 6: If they're all healthy.
- 29:13Speaker 7: I'm just saying, though, the Rams would be one for
- 29:15Speaker 7: me if they literally added like one or two players
- 29:18Speaker 7: in the secondary.
- 29:18Speaker 6: I just feel like they can get beat all the time.
- 29:20Speaker 5: But yeah, I thought they were gonna get Ramsey in
- 29:23Speaker 5: the off season, which I think would have done a
- 29:24Speaker 5: lot elevated their secondary. And I shouldn't say that the
- 29:28Speaker 5: Packers were fully outy. I assume we'll see Their offensive
- 29:31Speaker 5: line has some still questions, but they're coming off the buy. Yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 5: but I think Green Bay is probably the most well
- 29:35Speaker 5: rounded right now. And Mike adding Michael Parsons, who's now
- 29:40Speaker 5: probably gonna be like a full snapshare did a lot
- 29:44Speaker 5: to elevate that defense to make them there. But all right,
- 29:46Speaker 5: where are we going.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Next, Kendrew? This is your fault that this happened. This Uh,
- 29:51Speaker 2: no time to nominate our two plays?
- 29:55Speaker 5: Hold on, Kendrick, I'm sorry. I'm gonna let you go eventually, Brandon,
- 29:57Speaker 5: I'm really happy for you. I'm gonna let you finish.
- 30:00Speaker 5: But Beyonce had one of your best videos of all time.
- 30:03Speaker 5: That could be part of your your video today because
- 30:06Speaker 5: it's an interesting already.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Forgot what my original video was?
- 30:08Speaker 2: That was gonna be the toughest sport to bet on
- 30:11Speaker 2: who's the best in the NFL.
- 30:12Speaker 5: You can always ask that later, like I feel like
- 30:15Speaker 5: right now what you do?
- 30:17Speaker 6: Both?
- 30:17Speaker 5: But that is a fascinate question. You'll get a ton
- 30:19Speaker 5: of different answers. I think.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Okay, those will be my two videos for the week.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yep, can I go now?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yes? Sorry, I'm so sorry.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Two Kings and a Queen.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 30:30Speaker 4: Sorry, sorry said kidding.
- 30:32Speaker 3: I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Kendrew. We'll start with you. Who do you want to nominate?
- 30:43Speaker 4: Okay, so you guys are gonna hate me. I know
- 30:46Speaker 4: that we are on two different sides, me and you
- 30:49Speaker 4: the Pats or once again, I am addicted to betting
- 30:53Speaker 4: on the Chargers.
- 30:56Speaker 3: The Saints are so injured. I don't know how. I
- 30:58Speaker 3: don't want to blow up your spot. I know that
- 30:59Speaker 3: you that's something that you want to talk about in
- 31:01Speaker 3: a second. But they're so injured.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Patriots are rolling a little bit, and then the Chargers.
- 31:05Speaker 4: The Dolphins are just so bad. They've given up on
- 31:08Speaker 4: this season. The Chargers need some wins. I get that
- 31:10Speaker 4: their offensive line. I even like the under in this game,
- 31:12Speaker 4: whatever it is, I don't care if it moves. The
- 31:14Speaker 4: under on this game has got to look pretty for
- 31:16Speaker 4: everybody huge lean from me.
- 31:17Speaker 3: You might get to the window on it.
- 31:18Speaker 4: But I just believe in the Chargers, the coaching, the quarterback,
- 31:21Speaker 4: everything so much more that this number. Even though it's
- 31:24Speaker 4: over a field goal at this point, I got it
- 31:26Speaker 4: at a better price earlier this week.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I don't really care. The Chargers have to beat bad teams,
- 31:31Speaker 3: and they have to beat up on bad teams. This
- 31:36Speaker 3: Charger then, did not like either of these options. I
- 31:39Speaker 3: saw him just kind of like the.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Chargers offensive line is a problem.
- 31:43Speaker 1: And I know that Stucky has been had this on
- 31:45Speaker 1: his mind throughout the course of the week. The Dolphins
- 31:47Speaker 1: defensive line is not exactly the one that can take
- 31:49Speaker 1: advantage of that. Herbert has been really good out East
- 31:52Speaker 1: thirteen and six against the spreading games on the East coast.
- 31:56Speaker 4: But guys, believe me, every single week and here I
- 31:59Speaker 4: am still like flipping the bird to you.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Guys, I will say, I don't like the past minus
- 32:04Speaker 5: three and a half. That's like we're you're buying high
- 32:07Speaker 5: on the Pats after their big win going down the
- 32:10Speaker 5: ones who hasn't been bad.
- 32:11Speaker 6: I haven't bet.
- 32:12Speaker 3: They're just so hurt, dude, They're so hurt.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Their offense those the necessary weapons. You also got Taysom Hill.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Back for Tis Hill.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Mrado is playing well. He's playing like at an average level.
- 32:24Speaker 5: So I played the Saint So I can't authorize the
- 32:27Speaker 5: Pats if I have to charge the charges of three
- 32:31Speaker 5: and a half. There's here's some money line them again.
- 32:34Speaker 2: They lost play seventeen when we did that, like.
- 32:36Speaker 3: The price, Yeah, but I'm not.
- 32:38Speaker 5: I already bet the Pats. Yeah, we can money line
- 32:41Speaker 5: them because it's the Chargers. You can charges money. Yeah,
- 32:46Speaker 5: we can put that in as a moneyline piece because.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Oh, you guys, that's so much low.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Yeah, but we're parlaying three and this is going to
- 32:54Speaker 5: be a lower scoring game. I agree with that, so
- 32:57Speaker 5: points are going to be at a premium. I don't
- 32:59Speaker 5: know if they can win by margin with their offensive
- 33:01Speaker 5: line injuryes. Maybe they get all back, maybe back to
- 33:03Speaker 5: like there's some question on the offense line. It could
- 33:05Speaker 5: just create their offense. But Miami, you.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Guys want to switch to the under.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I just want to say that if this doesn't hit Kendro,
- 33:12Speaker 1: the Chargers are in bet jail for you.
- 33:14Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, no, let's say we got to make you
- 33:16Speaker 5: have the Chargers to win, because I mean, first of all,
- 33:18Speaker 5: I will say, here are the things I like about it.
- 33:20Speaker 5: The Chargers are going to play a ton of zone
- 33:23Speaker 5: coverage on the back end Miami. With Miami's offense, I mean, Sabine,
- 33:28Speaker 5: their left guard, is the worst start in the league.
- 33:29Speaker 5: It's like a zero pass block rate. He's basically like
- 33:31Speaker 5: a traffic cone. But they're gonna play a ton of
- 33:33Speaker 5: zone coverage Miami's off I don't know what Miami's offense
- 33:35Speaker 5: can do, but two against Man has been the best
- 33:37Speaker 5: quarterback in the league EPA for play against zone, he's
- 33:39Speaker 5: been bottom three. That's always how you stop the Dolphins
- 33:43Speaker 5: offense under Mike McDonald, and that's all the Chargers are
- 33:45Speaker 5: gonna do. Play a ton of zone in the back
- 33:47Speaker 5: end and then on the other side. Yes, the Dolphins
- 33:49Speaker 5: can't get pressure at all. Their bottom five and pressure right.
- 33:53Speaker 5: They're top five in blitzerrate, which is crazy. They're blitzing
- 33:56Speaker 5: constantly because they don't trust their secondary. They can't get
- 33:58Speaker 5: pressure on the tone and they're still not getting home.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Maybe the Chargers offensive line is that bad, but you
- 34:04Speaker 5: generally don't want to blitz Herbert, who's really good against
- 34:08Speaker 5: the blitz, one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
- 34:11Speaker 5: So there's a lot of things I like. Who knows
- 34:13Speaker 5: Remiami is a mentally I think Harball will have the
- 34:15Speaker 5: Chargers much. I think they'll they'll be much more focused
- 34:18Speaker 5: this week. They were so sloppy last week. So I'm
- 34:22Speaker 5: gonna go Chargers money line because.
- 34:23Speaker 4: I know that we throw a lot of McConkey in
- 34:25Speaker 4: there too, or am I no kidding?
- 34:31Speaker 3: I'm kidding a lot. McConkie is still in bet Yell
- 34:33Speaker 3: for me, I'm still not at him in my.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Seniority car were he's in Chargers money line because well,
- 34:38Speaker 5: I know Brandon can't. He's not going to choose the
- 34:43Speaker 5: Patriots because he has the Saints in his But I
- 34:45Speaker 5: will well for the voice of God. Would you go?
- 34:49Speaker 5: Would you go? Chargers or Pats?
- 34:52Speaker 7: Heavan, I would not touch pat Saints with a ten
- 34:57Speaker 7: football Spencer Raler coming off his first career win Patriots
- 35:01Speaker 7: off of the most emotional or emotionals like, I could
- 35:04Speaker 7: not care about that game one way or the other.
- 35:06Speaker 7: Chargers money line sounds beautiful.
- 35:08Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I mean I took the three and a half.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I think it should be three.
- 35:11Speaker 7: Sure, so it's Saints are nothing in that game, and
- 35:14Speaker 7: I couldn't even consider the Saints, I think, So.
- 35:17Speaker 5: I'm gonna go. My two are the Chiefs.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yes, so the Chiefs and my vote.
- 35:24Speaker 5: We will go with the forty nine Ers. Can't do
- 35:28Speaker 5: money nine. You gotta take plus three because Baker will
- 35:30Speaker 5: win in the last minute by one or two or three.
- 35:33Speaker 5: The Bucks, by the way of four Wednesday, I have
- 35:35Speaker 5: yet to win by more than a field goal. I
- 35:39Speaker 5: just think there's not much difference between those two teams.
- 35:41Speaker 5: The forty nine Ers I think should get some weapons
- 35:42Speaker 5: back this week. The Bucks are just as hurt as
- 35:45Speaker 5: the forty nine ers.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Is it brought party?
- 35:48Speaker 5: I think it's gonna be Mac Jones, but I don't
- 35:50Speaker 5: really carry the way.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Who do we want it to be? By the way
- 35:53Speaker 2: I've been thinking about it?
- 35:54Speaker 3: Better with Mac Jones.
- 35:55Speaker 4: I don't care what people say about brock Perty's contract.
- 35:58Speaker 4: The Jacksonville Jaguars got rid of that Nick Foles contract,
- 36:01Speaker 4: so they can get rid of it if they want to.
- 36:03Speaker 4: It's Mac Jones team at this point. Sure they're paying him,
- 36:06Speaker 4: Sure he probably is the better quarterback, but you're winning
- 36:08Speaker 4: with Mac Jones.
- 36:09Speaker 3: It's got to be Mac forty nine.
- 36:12Speaker 5: Ers extra time too. They played Thursday, so better chance
- 36:15Speaker 5: that they might get some guys back than Tampa Tampa
- 36:18Speaker 5: coming back across the country. They've been one of the luckiest.
- 36:20Speaker 5: I think they're number one in our luck rankings for
- 36:22Speaker 5: a reason.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Mac Jones with the bananas, I can't Channing.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Is scheming up some He's he's in. He is as
- 36:31Speaker 5: good as I've seen him from a scheme perspective, and
- 36:34Speaker 5: this Bucks defense is not good at all. So it's
- 36:39Speaker 5: either going to be San fran San Francisco plus three
- 36:43Speaker 5: minus one oh five. About Chiefs Kansas City Money Online
- 36:47Speaker 5: minus one thirty five.
- 36:49Speaker 3: I about Chiefs.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I like both of these. I like the Chiefs a
- 36:52Speaker 1: little bit more. I've actually played that one, so let's
- 36:55Speaker 1: add to the pot.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Heaven.
- 36:56Speaker 5: Do you have any opinion on either?
- 36:58Speaker 6: Those are really difficult.
- 36:59Speaker 7: I hate the forty nine ers, so I would probably
- 37:02Speaker 7: go with the Chiefs in that situation.
- 37:04Speaker 6: I just I have no interest in San Francisco.
- 37:06Speaker 7: And the comment of Mac being better than I don't know,
- 37:10Speaker 7: I don't better is not the right word.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I didn't say better.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Yeah, better's not the right word. But party is so efficient.
- 37:17Speaker 7: If it's Mac, which I think it's probably going to be,
- 37:19Speaker 7: I want nothing to do with that game.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Yeah, but they're winning with him. That's the thing. You
- 37:24Speaker 3: gotta win, Maxy.
- 37:25Speaker 6: They both those quarterbacks have moxie and I have.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Perty hasn't been healthy when he's tried to play.
- 37:31Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the problem to an.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Max, isn't. He's getting rid of the ball quick and
- 37:35Speaker 5: just going to his first read.
- 37:36Speaker 3: And it's the bananas.
- 37:38Speaker 5: He's basically Kyle Shannon's like puppet so and he's doing
- 37:41Speaker 5: a good job of feeling it. Soon Kyle Shannon wanted
- 37:43Speaker 5: to as his quarterback and there's a good chance to
- 37:45Speaker 5: get Pearsall and Door Jennings back this week. And both
- 37:49Speaker 5: teams are just so beat up so and they're going
- 37:50Speaker 5: to play a lot of zone take away the explosives
- 37:52Speaker 5: for Tampa who can't keep getting away with this? So
- 37:56Speaker 5: all right, we got Chargers chiefs, my Brandon, what are
- 37:58Speaker 5: your too?
- 38:00Speaker 1: I am opposed to Kendra on this on the Patriots pick,
- 38:04Speaker 1: I like this Saints plus three and a half and
- 38:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna lay the wood with the Packers minus fourteen.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I know we don't like these double digit favorites, but
- 38:14Speaker 1: you mentioned it, Stucky. The Packers might be the best
- 38:17Speaker 1: team in the NFL. The Bengals have the worst point
- 38:21Speaker 1: differential in the league. They can't run the ball three
- 38:23Speaker 1: point one yards per carry. That's dead last in the NFL.
- 38:26Speaker 1: So the Packers could just pin their ears back at home.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Tee off on Flacco. Who people are gonna say this week.
- 38:32Speaker 1: They're gonna say this, Flacco's already beaten the Packers. Flacco
- 38:36Speaker 1: didn't beat the Packers. Flacco had a fifty five passer.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Rating in that game.
- 38:40Speaker 1: The Browns won despite the fact that Flacco is their quarterback.
- 38:44Speaker 3: You're crazy the Packers should.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Get their O line healthy and back, and if that happens,
- 38:49Speaker 1: it's just this is going to be a slaughter.
- 38:51Speaker 3: You're crazy.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Flacco is a vets that he's getting vetterable, he's getting
- 38:57Speaker 4: better receivers.
- 38:58Speaker 5: But that's the thing that these played with these guys,
- 39:03Speaker 5: that's the biggest problem.
- 39:04Speaker 4: It gives them juice though, like this is the reason
- 39:07Speaker 4: for that team to get up.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Now, I can get with you on that, like two
- 39:11Speaker 1: weeks down the road. But he just he had traded
- 39:14Speaker 1: after Sunday. He just got there.
- 39:17Speaker 5: The problem is he has no offensive line against that
- 39:19Speaker 5: pass rush. So that's the Yeah, he's.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Gonna get murdered.
- 39:21Speaker 5: But I can't believe I can't lay fourteen. I mean
- 39:23Speaker 5: it's laying fourteen. The NFL is just I just can't.
- 39:26Speaker 5: It's so dumb because there's no I shouldn't say it's
- 39:29Speaker 5: so dumb, but a lot of times it's just a
- 39:31Speaker 5: fool's thereon like it you're because there's no it's not
- 39:34Speaker 5: like college football. There's no incentive for these NFL teams
- 39:37Speaker 5: to win by a lot. So you're up by seventeen,
- 39:39Speaker 5: you're up by twenty one, which is a complete blowout
- 39:42Speaker 5: in the NFL, and then you're not You're just gonna
- 39:45Speaker 5: make all right, let's not turn it over. You run, run, run,
- 39:47Speaker 5: you punt, and then you like you saw at the
- 39:50Speaker 5: Bengals last week, they have really talented receivers. They could
- 39:53Speaker 5: hit some easy scores at the end. It's easily getting
- 39:56Speaker 5: his back door. So I can't authorize that I did
- 39:59Speaker 5: play this Saints, So I'm gonna vote then plus three
- 40:04Speaker 5: and a half your in, kenjer.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Let me just say this, there will be a live
- 40:09Speaker 1: line during Packers Bengals that is north of twenty points.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Maybe if you felt uncomfortable with it, come back in
- 40:15Speaker 1: on the Bengals.
- 40:17Speaker 5: Maybe Saints plus. All right, So Saints, Evan, do you
- 40:20Speaker 5: have any any thoughts there?
- 40:23Speaker 7: Give me the three and a half with the Saints
- 40:24Speaker 7: in the game. I told you I wouldn't bet on
- 40:26Speaker 7: five minutes ago.
- 40:27Speaker 5: All right.
- 40:29Speaker 3: The NFL just looks to me every fucking week.
- 40:33Speaker 5: All Right, We're going it's Saints plus three and a half,
- 40:35Speaker 5: Chargers money line, Chiefs money line plus three seventy.
- 40:40Speaker 3: I can't wait to whip it out. I'm so serious.
- 40:42Speaker 5: Bat draftings, you can say that I can't. Uh So, Yeah,
- 40:48Speaker 5: plus three seven. Let's hit our second one in three weeks.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Chargers, money Line, Chiefs, money Line, Saints plus three.
- 40:55Speaker 2: And a half.
- 40:55Speaker 3: That I have a heart attack.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Special thanks Star producers Gifford Gold, David pay, Evan Abrams
- 41:01Speaker 1: on Stats and also on the Saints.
- 41:03Speaker 5: Ironically enough, there is, by the way, you the one,
- 41:08Speaker 5: the one thing that's good about the if you want
- 41:10Speaker 5: if I kind of convince you in the forty nine
- 41:12Speaker 5: Ers we're still doing this, or you convince people on
- 41:15Speaker 5: the Bengals. The four o'clock slate is so super reliant
- 41:18Speaker 5: on the Bank on the forty nine Ers, Bucks, it's Raiders.
- 41:21Speaker 5: There's only three games Raiders, Titans, Packers, Bengals, and then
- 41:27Speaker 5: Bucks forty nine Ers. I'm worried about that four o'clock
- 41:29Speaker 5: slate like that. We need that gain to be good.
- 41:32Speaker 5: It's the NFL. One of the other games we will
- 41:33Speaker 5: end up being weirdly good. But anyway, thanks for tuning in.
