- 0:00Speaker 1: I with Alexi Napola and Marisa Patton an iHeartRadio podcast. Okay, Alexia,
- 0:08Speaker 1: I missed your face this weekend. We were supposed to
- 0:10Speaker 1: get together. I didn't get to see you. You did it.
- 0:13Speaker 2: I felt like I saw you maybe Friday.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Friday.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Oh that's great Friday. Yeah, that's right.
- 0:19Speaker 1: But I wanted a little more than that.
- 0:24Speaker 2: You.
- 0:25Speaker 1: No, that was a quick lunch. It wasn't one of
- 0:28Speaker 1: our usual like six hour things. It was like a
- 0:30Speaker 1: two hour quickie.
- 0:31Speaker 2: It was It was good, it was fun. It was
- 0:35Speaker 2: nice to start off the weekend.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I know. Are you ready for Halloween?
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm actually not because I'm not dressing up this year?
- 0:42Speaker 2: What about you? Are you gonna make it spooky? Are
- 0:44Speaker 2: you gonna make it sexy and slutty? What are you
- 0:46Speaker 2: doing for Halloween?
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna make it biamas and in by ten, in
- 0:50Speaker 1: the bed by ten, Piama and Lagama.
- 0:53Speaker 2: No, I plan to go out. I just don't want
- 0:55Speaker 2: to dress up.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Yeap, What are you gonna do?
- 0:58Speaker 2: No, We're just gonna do the usual. We're gonna have
- 0:59Speaker 2: dinner to one of like, Yes, we're gonna have dinner,
- 1:03Speaker 2: probably a casadonna that I'm so excited to try god
- 1:08Speaker 2: mm hmmm, and some friends and you know, we'll just
- 1:11Speaker 2: sit down and look at everybody else with their costumes.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I don't think Miami is a city where they get
- 1:16Speaker 2: so much into Halloween. I feel like New York and
- 1:19Speaker 2: maybe La.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah. No, everybody here dresses so slutty like they do
- 1:24Speaker 1: all year round, right, they just make.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Nothing changes exactly.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the same thing all year round.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah. It didn't surprise me. So it was really awkward
- 1:33Speaker 2: to literally be in a restaurant with your husband and
- 1:37Speaker 2: another couple and just sitting there watching all the girls
- 1:40Speaker 2: go by in their slutty outfits with all their asses out.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, but you know, welcome to Miami.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You're like, is it Saturday night or is it Halloween?
- 1:50Speaker 1: Because it seems like the same thing to.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Me, right, Like I said, it's just an excuse to
- 1:54Speaker 2: like dress slutty and show your ass.
- 1:56Speaker 1: To be even sluttier. Mm hmmm, yeah, every day of
- 2:00Speaker 1: the week. Yeah, I don't know.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I mean I think that if you're going to dress up,
- 2:04Speaker 2: like go to a house party or go to like
- 2:05Speaker 2: a Halloween party, I just think it's a little weird
- 2:08Speaker 2: to show up at a restaurant. You know that's like that.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and not have a party in mind, just go
- 2:15Speaker 1: dress yeah, in a theme, you know.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I mean there weren't like trick or tuning. They weren't
- 2:18Speaker 2: looking for candy, you know what they were looking for
- 2:21Speaker 2: actually eye candy. But no, it was fun. You know,
- 2:26Speaker 2: it's fun. We're already used to it.
- 2:28Speaker 1: He speaking of sluttie and looking for trouble. Did you
- 2:32Speaker 1: read about that guy that he's from Iran and he
- 2:37Speaker 1: is an exact doppelganger of Lanel Messi. I saw that.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Did you see it? But I see you though, It's like, yeah,
- 2:45Speaker 2: they look exactly like Wait, I have a question, maybe
- 2:48Speaker 2: is that AI or is that real life?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Because I know now that that's real life. I guess
- 2:53Speaker 1: I hope.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 2:54Speaker 1: We will have to ask the twenty three women. Apparently
- 2:57Speaker 1: lord into bed pretending he was Lanel Messi.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's what the women get because he's a married man,
- 3:02Speaker 2: so exactly. Yeah, so you know what, I don't feel
- 3:04Speaker 2: sorry for these women. I'm actually glad that happened to them.
- 3:06Speaker 2: From messing around with a mayor messy. Yeah yeah, messing
- 3:11Speaker 2: around with messy exactly.
- 3:12Speaker 1: That super messy. I just want to know, like, where
- 3:15Speaker 1: did he take them? Did he have a sprawling pad somewhere?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Was he in an efficiency? Because how do you fool
- 3:20Speaker 1: people like that? He must have had some kind of
- 3:22Speaker 1: a plan.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean women are so just mesmerized by
- 3:26Speaker 2: just like you know, a feeing a celebrity. Yeah, where
- 3:30Speaker 2: he had a good excuse for he couldn't take them
- 3:31Speaker 2: a good place if that was the case. No, that
- 3:34Speaker 2: sounds like a messy situation. But I'm just wondering. Didn't
- 3:37Speaker 2: the girls wonder why he didn't have like an Argentinian
- 3:40Speaker 2: accent versus an Iranian accent, or maybe they didn't even talk,
- 3:44Speaker 2: they just got right to it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm imagining they were so lit in some dark club
- 3:49Speaker 1: and probably were just like, yeah, let's go. You know,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I would have asked for an idea, But.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Twenty three of them, that's like a lot. He just
- 3:58Speaker 2: really look like him and he must be really good
- 4:00Speaker 2: at it.
- 4:01Speaker 1: We probably spoken English, and he had an accent in
- 4:04Speaker 1: English because he's from Iran, and they couldn't tell it
- 4:06Speaker 1: wasn't an Argentina accent in English.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I mean, you're not from my family list here, so
- 4:10Speaker 2: they can't tell. I can pick up accents. What about you,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I'm pretty good at differentiating the accent.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Pretty good, pretty good.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That wouldn't happened to us.
- 4:19Speaker 1: No, no, no question, bro. If you knew that a
- 4:32Speaker 1: house that you were interested in buying had a murder
- 4:36Speaker 1: in it or was built on a graveyard, would you
- 4:41Speaker 1: still want to live there or buy it?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Never? If I knew about it, I would never want
- 4:46Speaker 2: that house. I don't want that energy that was left behind.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I don't want to know the details of it. I
- 4:51Speaker 2: don't want anything to do with it. It would really
- 4:54Speaker 2: spook me, and I would be scared. I would be
- 4:58Speaker 2: scared to live in a house that was haunted or
- 5:00Speaker 2: I knew there were ghosts inside of it, or there
- 5:03Speaker 2: had been a murder.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Hell no, oh my god. Yeah, like like where someone
- 5:08Speaker 1: like shot up a whole family and then you decide
- 5:11Speaker 1: to buy it anyway and live there.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Happens aime, happens all the time.
- 5:17Speaker 1: It happens all the time, of course.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I mean it's different if the person is deceased in right,
- 5:21Speaker 2: if the person actually passes away into the house but
- 5:24Speaker 2: hows like a peaceful death. You know that obviously for
- 5:27Speaker 2: me would be different, even though I still don't want
- 5:29Speaker 2: to know about it. That's why I prefer a new house,
- 5:32Speaker 2: but definitely not like a murder or something spooky like that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You're supposed to disclose that that there was a murder there,
- 5:39Speaker 1: but I don't think you have to disclose if someone
- 5:41Speaker 1: just passed away on a home.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Right, Well, that's different, That's what I'm saying. That happens
- 5:45Speaker 2: all the time. Obviously, Yeah, that's very different. But you know,
- 5:48Speaker 2: the way you described it about buying a house where
- 5:51Speaker 2: you know somebody had been murdered, I was like, no, right.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Or that the property was on top of an old
- 5:58Speaker 1: grape site, you know.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Like a cemetery. I have such a hard time even
- 6:03Speaker 2: going to a cemetery. I feel like, you know, and
- 6:07Speaker 2: I want to say they're all good spirits, but you know,
- 6:10Speaker 2: you don't know she said that, and like it attaches
- 6:13Speaker 2: to you.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm such a sponge for that stuff. Everything sticks to me. Honestly,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I can't be around any of that.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I mean, I don't. I don't want that, but I
- 6:23Speaker 2: remember my dad would always tell me milos, So you know,
- 6:29Speaker 2: I do want to believe that, which is kind of
- 6:31Speaker 2: true if you think about it, you know, because I
- 6:33Speaker 2: don't feel like, you know, the dead spirits are coming back,
- 6:36Speaker 2: you know, to haunt us, which you heard us, you know.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I think it's easier to say than than to believe it.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So I've always been really scared of of all that stuff.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Oh my god, me too. And actually I'm living with
- 6:48Speaker 1: a ghost here. We have one here at the house.
- 6:51Speaker 2: And so how come you're still living there?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Steve doesn't want to leave, he doesn't want to go anywhere.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, the guys. He hangs out with
- 7:00Speaker 1: me every day we're together. And I said to him,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I'm going to hire I want.
- 7:04Speaker 2: To say it's a good at least it's a good ghost.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Yeah, he likes to party anyway, he.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Likes it right, so we like him. If he's right.
- 7:12Speaker 2: If he likes to party, he likes to drink, and
- 7:14Speaker 2: he is good and peaceful, and he's just there to
- 7:16Speaker 2: hang out because he likes you guys. Then you know what,
- 7:19Speaker 2: it's cool.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I told Steve, I'm gonna I'm gonna hire someone to
- 7:21Speaker 1: get rid of him because I don't know, I'm not
- 7:23Speaker 1: feeling great here, and you know, maybe he should go.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And then Steve does this, How do you hire?
- 7:27Speaker 2: How do you wait, I want to know how this works.
- 7:29Speaker 2: How do you hire someone I would praise their people.
- 7:32Speaker 2: There are there people that actually do this, you know,
- 7:34Speaker 2: pretty s get rid of, you know, bad spirits. I mean,
- 7:37Speaker 2: he prest are holy people. So yes, you want to
- 7:40Speaker 2: think so, But how do they know? How do you
- 7:41Speaker 2: know that it's a bad spirit. You just said he
- 7:43Speaker 2: just likes to party and he's like a good spirit.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It was an older man that just passed away.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I didn't say it was a good spirit. He's just
- 7:49Speaker 1: around and sometimes I feel something behind me when I'm
- 7:51Speaker 1: walking through the house. I get you. I know. That's
- 7:55Speaker 1: why I don't like it. It's creepy. You know, You're
- 7:57Speaker 1: walk down these dark hallways and I'm like, who's momy,
- 7:59Speaker 1: Nobody he's here. Or if I'm upstairs right here banging
- 8:02Speaker 1: around downstairs and vice versa and nobody's here.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Oh you sually got you? My friend? That sounds like
- 8:07Speaker 2: a little like I don't know, I mean, even like
- 8:10Speaker 2: Goldie Han. I don't know. If you just read about
- 8:11Speaker 2: Goldie Han saying that like an alien had touched her face.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I touched her face?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Her face? Oh thank god, it wasn't something else.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I've heard these crazy stories, right, you hear all these
- 8:24Speaker 2: crazy stories, like do you believe in aliens? Do you
- 8:27Speaker 2: believe in ghosts? I don't know. Like life is a
- 8:30Speaker 2: really pretty scary without aliens and ghosts and all these things.
- 8:34Speaker 2: You know, you don't make it a complete gud like so.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I don't want to be complicated either. But he's here.
- 8:39Speaker 1: He lives here too, anywhere.
- 8:41Speaker 2: You don't have a name for him? Do you have
- 8:43Speaker 2: a name? No?
- 8:44Speaker 1: I call him DRUNKI Drunkerson. Steve's like, please don't get
- 8:49Speaker 1: rid of him. Who am I going to drink with
- 8:50Speaker 1: when you're out of town? I'm like, oh, okay, your
- 8:53Speaker 1: he's your bar buddy. Now, yeah, the three of us
- 8:57Speaker 1: live together.
- 8:58Speaker 2: You guys are crazy. I think it's all in your head.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It's not in my head. Trust me. I know I
- 9:03Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Okay, Well, and then we have to call somebody. Toy
- 9:07Speaker 2: am I the rereest, I mean, whoever can help you
- 9:09Speaker 2: with this situation.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to I'm gonna go. I have to
- 9:13Speaker 1: go visit the church. You know, you have to sip
- 9:15Speaker 1: him a little cash, you know, a little donation, right, gotchaly, gotchaly.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I'm not sure that I can live there. I'm sure.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I'm not even sure that I'm gonna go visit you
- 9:24Speaker 2: again in that house.
- 9:25Speaker 1: You've been here a few times.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I know. I haven't seen him.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You can't see him. He's just there. He's there, he's here,
- 9:33Speaker 1: exactly his name is.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You can't see him because it's in your head, bro,
- 9:36Speaker 2: it's in your head.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Oh what does he look like?
- 9:39Speaker 2: Tell me what does he look like? You feel him
- 9:41Speaker 2: or you?
- 9:41Speaker 1: I don't know what he looks. I feel him. I
- 9:42Speaker 1: don't see him.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And it's a man.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You know for sure that the dogs see them, because
- 9:45Speaker 1: they're barking all the time.
- 9:47Speaker 2: The dogs say when I don't have a ghost in here. Dogs,
- 9:50Speaker 2: that's what they're supposed to say.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You have no idea whether you have a ghost or not.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I mean, if you ghost, he'd be out of there
- 9:59Speaker 1: so fast, like very hectic. I'm gonna get out of here,
- 10:05Speaker 1: that's funny. So I'll be home for Halloween.
- 10:08Speaker 2: You'll be home with Halloween with your ghosts. You see,
- 10:09Speaker 2: that's why you don't need to go trick or treating
- 10:11Speaker 2: or you don't need to celebrate Halloween, because you live
- 10:14Speaker 2: this house with your ghost.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Wait Steve the other day was like, hey, we should
- 10:19Speaker 1: buy candy for Halloween. I'm like, are you gonna get
- 10:21Speaker 1: up every time they ring the doorbell, go through the
- 10:23Speaker 1: front door and going to the gate, because I'm not
- 10:25Speaker 1: getting up. That's a lot of exercise and I'm not moving.
- 10:28Speaker 1: So don't even answer the door and don't buy candy.
- 10:30Speaker 2: What about for your ghost? Your ghost would like some candy.
- 10:33Speaker 1: He likes booze. He doesn't like candy.
- 10:40Speaker 2: No, but that was fun. I mean I used to
- 10:41Speaker 2: like Halloween and giving candy to the children all but
- 10:43Speaker 2: I think that all that has changed so much. I
- 10:45Speaker 2: don't even know do kids even go trick or treating nowadays?
- 10:47Speaker 2: Do they knocking people's doors and don't.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Let them in? Answered my door? In twenty years, I'm
- 10:56Speaker 1: still yatesy to answer the door. And you know, if
- 10:58Speaker 1: you put it out there, the first kid's gonna dump
- 11:00Speaker 1: the whole thing is and get And what if one
- 11:03Speaker 1: of them gets poisoned from somebody else's candy, but they
- 11:06Speaker 1: blame you?
- 11:06Speaker 2: You know, my god, it's just so sad. It's even
- 11:08Speaker 2: taking away the love for Halloween and trick or treating
- 11:11Speaker 2: and celebrating this holiday that I never liked. But yeah, yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 2: even like like I said, I don't think that people
- 11:18Speaker 2: are as festive and celebrating like before. I mean, I
- 11:23Speaker 2: don't know if it's what's going on in the world
- 11:25Speaker 2: or just like that they just you know, are afraid
- 11:27Speaker 2: or whatever it may be. I just didn't notice it
- 11:29Speaker 2: this weekend as festive and you know, as colorful as
- 11:35Speaker 2: other years. You know, even though we know that some
- 11:38Speaker 2: people were still celebrating their Halloween parties, like who like
- 11:43Speaker 2: some of your friends? You made some of your friends, right,
- 11:47Speaker 2: both of our friends in the beach in Miami Beach.
- 11:52Speaker 2: There's a Miami Beach. There are a lot of house
- 11:53Speaker 2: parties that apparently we weren't invited to. But it's okay.
- 11:58Speaker 2: We never wanted to go anyways.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You don't want to go anywhere, right, So bro, have
- 12:05Speaker 1: you Have you heard about Britain's new memoir?
- 12:08Speaker 2: I have, and you know, I'm going to read that because,
- 12:11Speaker 2: like I was telling you in the past, I love
- 12:14Speaker 2: to read a memoir, especially about women. I feel that
- 12:17Speaker 2: all of the memoirs that I have read have been
- 12:20Speaker 2: about women. So I'm definitely going to be buying this
- 12:24Speaker 2: and reading it so all it you know, because I
- 12:26Speaker 2: know you don't like to read so much.
- 12:27Speaker 1: But it's not that I don't like to I don't
- 12:30Speaker 1: enjoy it because of my dyslexia.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It's very difficult, right, it's hard. Well, yeah, but there's
- 12:34Speaker 2: there's auditory there's the audible books that you can listen
- 12:37Speaker 2: to auditory books.
- 12:40Speaker 1: H mm hmmm.
- 12:42Speaker 2: So anyways, but yeah, like I expected, she was gonna
- 12:45Speaker 2: say a lot of things that you know, you usually
- 12:48Speaker 2: say in books that you've never shared before, and that's
- 12:53Speaker 2: exactly what she did, you know, And like I told
- 12:55Speaker 2: you, you know, we talked about Jada last week, you know,
- 12:58Speaker 2: and all these other women right that find themselves writing
- 13:03Speaker 2: books and finally opening up and sharing things that they
- 13:07Speaker 2: weren't comfortable about sharing in the past and for whatever
- 13:10Speaker 2: reason now they are. And I like, and I have
- 13:13Speaker 2: to agree with them that, you know, like I said,
- 13:14Speaker 2: sometimes you just sit down and you feel so comfortable,
- 13:18Speaker 2: you know, just like writing and just getting it out
- 13:20Speaker 2: of you, that it's therapeutic and it's healing. And by
- 13:24Speaker 2: the way, it doesn't really change the way I feel
- 13:26Speaker 2: about justin Timberlake or anything else, but it just gives
- 13:32Speaker 2: me like more clarity and kind of like more of
- 13:34Speaker 2: an understanding, you.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Got clarity of who who changes?
- 13:39Speaker 2: No. I mean again, like I don't know, did your
- 13:42Speaker 2: perception change after you know, reading and knowing some of
- 13:45Speaker 2: the things that she changed that she shared about justin
- 13:48Speaker 2: like for example, that he made her have an abortion,
- 13:54Speaker 2: or he encouraged her to have an abortion and she
- 13:56Speaker 2: had to do it at home because they didn't want
- 13:58Speaker 2: anybody to find out, and he broke up with her. Well,
- 14:02Speaker 2: the breaking up is We'll get to that also, But
- 14:04Speaker 2: I feel like this is something that you know is
- 14:07Speaker 2: a lot more significant and touching. I mean, did you
- 14:10Speaker 2: think he was just like young and immature and stupid
- 14:13Speaker 2: and didn't know any better.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I would have to guess that there was a team
- 14:17Speaker 1: of people in his life advising him. I don't think
- 14:21Speaker 1: that was just him alone making that decision. You know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: so a lot of people that were probably like, hey,
- 14:28Speaker 1: a B or C could happen, or deef could happen.
- 14:32Speaker 1: You could go to the right, you could go to
- 14:33Speaker 1: the left, and these are going to be your scenarios.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I mean, I guess he suggest you pack.
- 14:37Speaker 2: People, and so popular as they were and they've always
- 14:40Speaker 2: been that they were probably scared to go to a
- 14:43Speaker 2: center or something where you can do this, and it
- 14:45Speaker 2: came to the house and did this for them? I mean,
- 14:48Speaker 2: did he even make the right decision? They were young?
- 14:50Speaker 2: I think there were seventeen, eighteen, no years old. I
- 14:53Speaker 2: mean their life would have been a lot different. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 2: they were very young, so their life obviously in relationship,
- 14:58Speaker 2: would have worked out a lot of differ So I guess, like,
- 15:01Speaker 2: you know, you're answering all these and thinking about all
- 15:04Speaker 2: these questions, and the truth is, you never know, like
- 15:07Speaker 2: if she would have had the baby, how her life
- 15:08Speaker 2: would have been different, or they would have gotten married.
- 15:10Speaker 2: It's just like, but the fact that she's finally just
- 15:13Speaker 2: like opening up and just getting everything out.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Sounds like she's a little angry with him because she's
- 15:19Speaker 1: she's really given it to him in this book. Well,
- 15:22Speaker 1: I's kind of not over these things that happened.
- 15:24Speaker 2: You know. I think that sometimes things like that in
- 15:26Speaker 2: life mark you. And she was a young girl, and
- 15:29Speaker 2: I can see how a young girl can be very
- 15:32Speaker 2: affected and traumatized by that first time something like this.
- 15:37Speaker 2: You know, first of all, it was her boyfriend and
- 15:39Speaker 2: she was super and it was like her first love,
- 15:42Speaker 2: and he just decided to take up with her, you know,
- 15:45Speaker 2: and be a text just like it's over after three
- 15:49Speaker 2: years of dating, Like, how do you just do that?
- 15:51Speaker 2: It was like she has every right to fee and
- 15:53Speaker 2: I think she never got over it, you know, you
- 15:55Speaker 2: have to, like heal, some women or some girls do
- 15:58Speaker 2: get over it, and I feel like she did. She
- 16:00Speaker 2: always like held on to that.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Yeah she I guess she didn't have any closure.
- 16:04Speaker 2: No, I mean not even that. I think that affected
- 16:06Speaker 2: all her other relationships too, you know, and and who
- 16:10Speaker 2: she is. I mean, obviously we can't blame him, you know.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I know that she has such a fan base and
- 16:14Speaker 2: everybody you know is you know, always see the same
- 16:17Speaker 2: people that are in her Free Britney movement are probably
- 16:20Speaker 2: commentating on this and you know, hating on him. I
- 16:23Speaker 2: heard he had to turn off his comments on his
- 16:27Speaker 2: social because a lot of people are attacking him. Yeah,
- 16:30Speaker 2: I mean, she has a lot of loyal you know, followers,
- 16:33Speaker 2: and you know how that is everybody takes advantage and
- 16:38Speaker 2: right now everybody goes to social media. That's like the
- 16:40Speaker 2: platform that people go and you know, the abuse of
- 16:42Speaker 2: the freedom of speech that we have in this country,
- 16:45Speaker 2: and instead of making things better, they make it worse,
- 16:48Speaker 2: and you know, and that's why that you know, it's
- 16:49Speaker 2: full of hate and that's the world unfortunately that we're
- 16:52Speaker 2: living in. Nobody goes on the comments to leave something
- 16:55Speaker 2: beautiful and kind rarely. Yeah, yeah, so, but you know,
- 16:59Speaker 2: the these are people like us right now that we
- 17:01Speaker 2: really don't know what happened. This is like what she's saying,
- 17:04Speaker 2: you know, I mean, he hasn't said anything yet. I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 2: do you think Justin should make a public statement? Like
- 17:10Speaker 2: how do you feel about that?
- 17:13Speaker 1: God, I don't know. I don't know how I feel
- 17:15Speaker 1: about him saying anything. I think she's scorn because apparently
- 17:19Speaker 1: he was sleeping around on her too. Well.
- 17:22Speaker 2: We know he's done that before because he's done it
- 17:23Speaker 2: to Jessica pill too.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and he did it to Cameron Diaz with
- 17:28Speaker 1: Jessica and Scarlett Johansson's doing it. He's been doing it forever,
- 17:34Speaker 1: even do it. He's a wild wader that one.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, so he does have a history of that.
- 17:40Speaker 2: But again, if like you know, Brittany was still very young,
- 17:43Speaker 2: and for me, I think what I got more of
- 17:45Speaker 2: this It wasn't even like the breakup. It was just
- 17:47Speaker 2: the fact that you know, unfortunately she had to do
- 17:51Speaker 2: something was very traumatic to her, you know, as a
- 17:53Speaker 2: young girl. Yeah, and then now after all these years,
- 17:57Speaker 2: she's sharing it, you know, and that's the scary part.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Like you know that you can write anything you want
- 18:02Speaker 2: in a book, Like I always say that, I'm like,
- 18:04Speaker 2: I read these books and I see like all these
- 18:06Speaker 2: things that you know, these women because like I said,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I read the women's memoirs are sharing, and I feel
- 18:13Speaker 2: like women are more emotional and more passionate and and
- 18:17Speaker 2: you know so and we're overshareres Like I feel like
- 18:19Speaker 2: men are more private with things like that. And I'm
- 18:21Speaker 2: sure he would have better mentioned something like this, but
- 18:24Speaker 2: you know, we're more emotional, and for whatever reason, she
- 18:28Speaker 2: wanted to share this. You know, I don't know how
- 18:31Speaker 2: that's going to change anything, right because like I said,
- 18:34Speaker 2: I don't think people are going to look at Justin
- 18:36Speaker 2: differently just because that happened, because he was very young
- 18:40Speaker 2: and immature, and you know, sometimes you don't know any better, right,
- 18:43Speaker 2: I mean, I don't want to let yea.
- 18:46Speaker 1: And I think I think it's not it's kind of
- 18:49Speaker 1: like it's it's upsetting because you know, she's so young
- 18:52Speaker 1: to have the abortion. The way he broke up is
- 18:53Speaker 1: not nice, but I think he already has that stamp
- 18:56Speaker 1: of philandering and you know, cheating, and so it's not
- 19:01Speaker 1: a surprise, and I'm sure it will happen again and
- 19:04Speaker 1: we'll be talking about it again one day, right, you know,
- 19:08Speaker 1: once a wandering waiter all is a wonder.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think that after all these years,
- 19:12Speaker 2: you know, he should actually go out and make a
- 19:15Speaker 2: public statement, Like what can he say? I mean, there's
- 19:18Speaker 2: nothing he can say that's going to fix it or
- 19:20Speaker 2: it's going to make a people feel a different way
- 19:23Speaker 2: about him or not. So I would just keep quiet.
- 19:26Speaker 2: You know, in a few days, nobody will be talking
- 19:28Speaker 2: about this, you know, once nobody's starts talking about her
- 19:30Speaker 2: book anymore, like everything. I feel like that's the best
- 19:32Speaker 2: pr sometimes to just keep quiet. And of your comments.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I got to learn how to turn off the comments.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Thing.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I haven't gotten.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Hip to the just be like me, I can have
- 19:41Speaker 2: a thousand comments. I don't even read them, so you know,
- 19:44Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but well, yeah, that's the best thing to
- 19:47Speaker 2: But you know, I have I have that capacity that
- 19:50Speaker 2: I don't care like I mean, you know, and all
- 19:52Speaker 2: the ones that are kind and good and loving. Thank
- 19:54Speaker 2: you for that, and I love you for that. But
- 19:58Speaker 2: you know, I don't want just see one that maybe
- 20:01Speaker 2: you know, I don't allow it to determine the rest
- 20:04Speaker 2: of my day or how my life is going to
- 20:06Speaker 2: play out. But you know, sometimes reading a lot of
- 20:08Speaker 2: those negative comments actually does get to you, and you
- 20:11Speaker 2: have to protect yourself. And I wish that Instagram had
- 20:14Speaker 2: not us, not that we had to turn it off.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I wish Instagram had like some special filter or something.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Instead of having all those filters that change the way
- 20:22Speaker 2: you look, they should have a special filter that detects
- 20:25Speaker 2: hate and nasty comments.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They do, they don't do They don't because a lot
- 20:29Speaker 1: of comments, Yeah, yeah they do, Yeah they do. You
- 20:32Speaker 1: have to edit the way you deliver the sentence because
- 20:35Speaker 1: they won't let you post certain things if their hate space.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you something, I've seen a lot
- 20:40Speaker 2: of hate. Well it's not working, my love. Yeah, everybody
- 20:43Speaker 2: looks like a different person in their Instagram, so they
- 20:46Speaker 2: should focus.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I'm talking about the speech part, not the photos.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Well, obviously I know you're talking about that, but I
- 20:51Speaker 2: don't agree with you. I think, like everything, things fall
- 20:53Speaker 2: through the crack. I mean, it's hard to detect, you
- 20:56Speaker 2: know how much hate there is in the comment.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You have to write it cleverly for Instagram not to
- 21:01Speaker 1: detect it. Because I've had some nasty suff written on
- 21:04Speaker 1: my Instagram and all, yes, of course, don't you get it?
- 21:08Speaker 1: I get it.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I don't read that. I tried it, and I like
- 21:13Speaker 1: you try to reply.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Sometimes don't even particip Sometimes you can.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Sometimes I do not because I'm like, look at you,
- 21:19Speaker 1: what are you talking about me? And then it won't
- 21:21Speaker 1: let me because it says you can't have like, and
- 21:24Speaker 1: then you have to rea say it in a different way,
- 21:27Speaker 1: using different words, and then it lets you post it.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so you're not going to do that because
- 21:32Speaker 2: you're wasting your good energy and that bloom. Like you know,
- 21:36Speaker 2: there's people that don't have a life, and I just
- 21:38Speaker 2: feel sorry for them. And that's it. So I'm glad
- 21:40Speaker 2: that Justin turned off his comments because it wasn't going
- 21:42Speaker 2: to make it any better or worse. It's not going
- 21:44Speaker 2: to fix anything now. The damage has already been done.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's out there, and it's out there. Can't people keep
- 21:49Speaker 2: on adding to the damage. Yeah, people keep on adding
- 21:52Speaker 2: to the damage because that's what people like. Yeah. Unfortunately,
- 22:05Speaker 2: Bad Bunny apparently likes Sophia ever Gotta right. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:11Speaker 2: So Sophia ever Gota flirts with Bad Bunny even though
- 22:15Speaker 2: he's in a relationship with Kendel Jenner. Do you think
- 22:18Speaker 2: that's shady, my friend, because we learned what shady was
- 22:21Speaker 2: in Thailand in our Automic Girls strip. At least I did.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I mean in all and all like sincerity in the
- 22:26Speaker 1: context of it. He's saying nice things about her in
- 22:29Speaker 1: his song, and she's repeating, Oh, you're fabulous and beautiful
- 22:34Speaker 1: or whatever it is.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah, right, because she said, you know, I love what
- 22:40Speaker 2: he told her, because I get the sala too. The
- 22:42Speaker 2: lyrics say, Sophia Ever got a Linda Linda persona the
- 22:47Speaker 2: rapper builds out, which translates to Sophia ever God is beautiful,
- 22:50Speaker 2: but she's a more beautiful person. So I don't know
- 22:52Speaker 2: about you, my friend, but I get that all the time.
- 22:55Speaker 2: That and I prefer that because what counts is in
- 22:57Speaker 2: real life. So I prefer to look much better in
- 23:00Speaker 2: real life than in a picture or on the show
- 23:02Speaker 2: or whatever. So I'm happy with that. And I can
- 23:04Speaker 2: totally relate to that, but the fact that she flirted
- 23:08Speaker 2: back with him and she literally wrote to him and
- 23:11Speaker 2: said make Linore too.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I like it, would you have done that? You?
- 23:19Speaker 2: She?
- 23:20Speaker 1: I think this this is hot and I'm all about it.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Do you think she wants him? I want I don't
- 23:26Speaker 2: know if she's ready to date a young.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Guy she wants him, but I'm telling you, I think
- 23:30Speaker 1: he would want her and she'll steal my two seconds.
- 23:37Speaker 2: One hundred percent. I mean not long term, because but
- 23:40Speaker 2: you know for sure, I mean I think that maybe
- 23:42Speaker 2: she wants to get back at Joe and she's like, look,
- 23:44Speaker 2: would you look? You know what you're missing? Like you
- 23:47Speaker 2: know benitoo, like this is you know what's happening. I
- 23:51Speaker 2: think she's a little like she likes the attention and
- 23:54Speaker 2: and it's coming from Bad Bunny, which is everything right now.
- 23:58Speaker 2: And you know, he just hosted the SNL Show and
- 24:04Speaker 2: he has a new album which is What's Making People
- 24:07Speaker 2: Talk and what We're talking About, where he makes references
- 24:09Speaker 2: to his girlfriend Kendall in certain lyrics, but in the
- 24:13Speaker 2: song Monaco, he also talks about Sophia Bergata, like do
- 24:17Speaker 2: you think that Sophia was being shady by making that
- 24:21Speaker 2: comment knowing that he has a girlfriend.
- 24:23Speaker 1: No, he gave her a compliment and she complimented him
- 24:26Speaker 1: right back.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Okay, so you think that's perfectly normal if you know
- 24:29Speaker 2: a guy is in a relationship, you're gonna flirt back
- 24:32Speaker 2: with him, knowing that the guy has a girlfriend.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I think it was like a Latin kind of you
- 24:38Speaker 1: complimented me, and I complimented you.
- 24:41Speaker 2: But I feel like he's complimented other women.
- 24:43Speaker 1: He's like, you're beautiful, and she's like you're beautiful too.
- 24:46Speaker 1: It was sweet.
- 24:47Speaker 2: First of all, I think that he's an artist. I
- 24:49Speaker 2: mean that I think I know that he's an artist,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and he's this is what he does, so he sings right,
- 24:54Speaker 2: and his music, his lyrics is always like he's singing
- 24:56Speaker 2: about somebody. Like remember when he dissed Kendles when he
- 24:59Speaker 2: started to the Dating Candle and she had just broken
- 25:02Speaker 2: up with her boyfriend that played for the Phoenix Suns.
- 25:05Speaker 2: He just dumbined his song. So you know, he's like
- 25:07Speaker 2: a rapper that they do that kind of stuff. They
- 25:09Speaker 2: talk about women, they talk about guys, they talk about
- 25:12Speaker 2: what's going on, and like a podcast sounds like yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 2: So anyways, it's a lot of ship. But anyways, with
- 25:21Speaker 2: that being said, I feel like that's his job. But
- 25:25Speaker 2: like if you were Kendle, would you get mad? So like,
- 25:27Speaker 2: let's say, of course I'd be pissed and I'd be afraid.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I'd be super a freaking she'd steal him from me
- 25:33Speaker 2: because she's like, oh she can't. Yeah, she's a fan, you.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Can take she steal him in two seconds from.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I think so too, because to me, Candle is super like,
- 25:43Speaker 2: how do you say this actually has no like she's
- 25:48Speaker 2: like flat yeah right, but listen, I mean he.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Must be like Callian thing.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Well, I mean, honestly, that's what we know about her.
- 25:57Speaker 2: I don't know how gallienish she is because you know,
- 26:00Speaker 2: it wasn't working out with her and Joe, so like,
- 26:01Speaker 2: I don't know, you know, client enough to get him
- 26:05Speaker 2: well I mean anybody, yeah, but not to keep him,
- 26:07Speaker 2: you know what I mean? It's together decent seven years?
- 26:10Speaker 1: How long were they to get?
- 26:11Speaker 2: Seven years?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Seven years? So then she got they got to pick up.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Pick up bigp going with Bunny on Yeah, yeah, that's
- 26:29Speaker 2: what you want to scratch.
- 26:30Speaker 1: His scratches cony toast.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Oh my god. So I don't know. I think that's
- 26:38Speaker 2: a conversation that Kendl would have to have with with
- 26:41Speaker 2: that bunny. But I feel like he's gonna tell her.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You know, I'm an artist. This is what I do.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I make money off my lyry craft.
- 26:48Speaker 1: This is my lyrics, and you know I might have
- 26:50Speaker 1: to sleep with her just to make the song better.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Because you know it's my.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Craft, right, I just have to understand my subject.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Right, That he would because he guess what, you know,
- 26:59Speaker 2: he hed? So I went to his instagram because you're
- 27:02Speaker 2: saying that Mosa, I'm becoming here on the podcast, so
- 27:06Speaker 2: I need to do my nemework. So I looked at
- 27:09Speaker 2: his Instagram and he hardly follows anybody. He hardly follows anybody.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Really, so that he doesn't follow hers.
- 27:15Speaker 2: What I'm trying to say, because that I would there,
- 27:17Speaker 2: I want to take it to the bottom of it.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I'm like, if he follows I'm breaking up with him.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I don't know, actually he does. I haven't said that
- 27:27Speaker 2: right now, Okay, you're better at that. But anyways, so
- 27:31Speaker 2: he doesn't follow Sophia, but Sofia did you know? But
- 27:36Speaker 2: bad Bunny respond to him and it's so funny because
- 27:39Speaker 2: maybe he didn't see it. But you know, there's always
- 27:41Speaker 2: like Jim Mooso's out there looking at the comments, see
- 27:44Speaker 2: who you like, see who you follow.
- 27:46Speaker 1: He follows nobody and has no.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Post exactly, and he has no post. That's what I
- 27:50Speaker 2: thought I was. I was gonna say three or four people,
- 27:52Speaker 2: but I forgot when I did it. But yeah, so
- 27:55Speaker 2: he follows nobody, he has no posts. I think he
- 27:57Speaker 2: has like just his album covers. So you know what
- 28:00Speaker 2: been either, you're super smart. I'm going to give him
- 28:02Speaker 2: an applause for not having social media because you know
- 28:05Speaker 2: that I really like that. But with that being said,
- 28:08Speaker 2: how does he even know? The only reason why he
- 28:10Speaker 2: knows that Sophia you know, commented on that was because
- 28:13Speaker 2: somebody else most in the world looked it up.
- 28:16Speaker 1: He thought that his people found out from her people,
- 28:20Speaker 1: and then they told his people.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I don't know. There's so many people that have nothing
- 28:23Speaker 2: to do. They're looking at whose pictures, you're podcasts, who's
- 28:26Speaker 2: liking yours? Who are you following?
- 28:29Speaker 1: It's maybe maybe it was she did an interview in.
- 28:32Speaker 2: The press, Benny don't know. She didn't. It was somebody
- 28:35Speaker 2: got it and it went to like, you know, all
- 28:37Speaker 2: the media.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Outlets they get it.
- 28:39Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know, and I don't care
- 28:41Speaker 2: that much. But what I do care about is.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Just talking about.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I don't like, I really don't care. How you know,
- 28:49Speaker 2: you don't have to get down to the bottom of it. Really,
- 28:51Speaker 2: the topic here is if you were Kendled, you would
- 28:59Speaker 2: be annoyed, and of course it would be okay. But
- 29:03Speaker 2: I know his answer is going to be like, I'm
- 29:05Speaker 2: an artist and those are my lyrics and I made
- 29:08Speaker 2: money off my lyrics, and like it's expected and blah
- 29:10Speaker 2: blah blah, but you know, I love you, you know
- 29:13Speaker 2: tu la Masba, I'm sure is what he's telling her.
- 29:16Speaker 2: You're like, you're the most beautiful, Like she can be
- 29:18Speaker 2: my mother because you know, I'm sure that you know
- 29:20Speaker 2: that that's what he's going to say.
- 29:21Speaker 1: What's true.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Bunnie is younger than her son Manolo. Yeah, so it's like,
- 29:29Speaker 2: definitely by age, you could be her son. You know,
- 29:32Speaker 2: you're I'm sure he's going to get out of it.
- 29:34Speaker 2: You know, we're going to see that. You know, it's
- 29:36Speaker 2: just like we're going to see that. She's going to
- 29:37Speaker 2: continue with them and she doesn't care. It's a song.
- 29:40Speaker 2: It's his job. To sing about other women and and
- 29:43Speaker 2: that's it. But I think she was being a little
- 29:46Speaker 2: shady and a little bit disrespectful by doing that, because
- 29:50Speaker 2: I mean, everyone knows that he is in a relationship
- 29:52Speaker 2: with Kendall. But then he can say, well, then don't
- 29:54Speaker 2: think about me. Well, then don't sing about me, right,
- 29:56Speaker 2: that's she can say that too. Well, then you know what,
- 29:58Speaker 2: don't think about me if you're so happy you relationship,
- 30:00Speaker 2: WHI are you saying about me?
- 30:03Speaker 1: I like it.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I like the whole thing, so I want to see
- 30:08Speaker 2: because she's Latina, right, that's what I.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Just I like Sophia, and I just get like a
- 30:13Speaker 1: like a I think you should do it too, But
- 30:16Speaker 1: to talk about on the next podcast, because this is hot.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Right, I think it's super hot to I mean, I
- 30:21Speaker 2: don't know that I'll have longevity, but I think they
- 30:23Speaker 2: should go for it.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And yeah, right, they should go for it.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I think they should too. Let's see, let's see how
- 30:34Speaker 2: how how it ends up? Right, because you know that's
- 30:37Speaker 2: how it starts. My friend with a little tweet, with
- 30:40Speaker 2: a little yeah, say you know what how I feel
- 30:44Speaker 2: about Instagram? It's like the biggest dating app. I don't
- 30:46Speaker 2: even know why there's women and men in dating apps
- 30:49Speaker 2: because like all the happens on Instagram. It's like, yeah, I.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Wonder if dating apps are doing like not so well
- 30:58Speaker 1: anymore because of this.
- 30:59Speaker 2: I I I don't have any research to back that up,
- 31:02Speaker 2: because you know, I just say things, but then they're
- 31:03Speaker 2: usually right. Of course not because it's free and all
- 31:05Speaker 2: the other dating apps you have to pay a membership
- 31:07Speaker 2: fee and they make it so complicated, all these steps
- 31:10Speaker 2: and you have to do you know, the people get
- 31:12Speaker 2: turned up like this is so easy. This is like
- 31:14Speaker 2: instant gratification. Yeah, I mean like literally that access. I
- 31:17Speaker 2: mean saying the guy and this is somebody like bad Bunny,
- 31:21Speaker 2: he sings a song, and this girl, Sophia Virgatta is like,
- 31:25Speaker 2: you know, answering him back on social media, like if so,
- 31:28Speaker 2: if you want it right there, even if they don't
- 31:30Speaker 2: know each other, they meet right there. And this is
- 31:32Speaker 2: happening every single day in everybody's lives, not only in
- 31:35Speaker 2: the celebrity world, in everyday's lives.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Do you think this is what he wanted? This is
- 31:39Speaker 1: kind of like what that guy Kelsey did to get
- 31:42Speaker 1: to Taylor Swift. You know, he put a little a
- 31:46Speaker 1: little PRP a little message out there. He had a
- 31:48Speaker 1: crush on her and all of a sudden they're together.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Maybe this is his mansa to her, Like.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's kind of desperate, my friend, I don't know.
- 32:08Speaker 3: It's Jojo Ciua, host of the new podcast Jojo Sewa Now.
- 32:13Speaker 3: It's time to get real, up close and personal. I'm
- 32:16Speaker 3: gonna be talking to you like I'm writing in a journal.
- 32:18Speaker 3: You're gonna get all of the tea and all of
- 32:20Speaker 3: the scoop. I'm also gonna be talking to my friends,
- 32:23Speaker 3: the people I admire, to people that are drending right now.
- 32:26Speaker 3: So you're gonna get like Jojo Seawa now and like, now,
- 32:29Speaker 3: what's going on in the world. It's gonna be great,
- 32:31Speaker 3: and I really hope you like it. You can listen
- 32:33Speaker 3: to Jojo Seawa Now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
- 32:36Speaker 3: or wherever you listen to podcasts.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Anything else you want to talk about. I know you
- 32:44Speaker 2: were talking to me about that, Dad.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I wanted to talk to you about that
- 32:49Speaker 1: because I know that you told me that you kind
- 32:52Speaker 1: of well, you didn't really have a wedding the first time,
- 32:55Speaker 1: but you did the second time, right, Yes, you got
- 32:57Speaker 1: a wedding this yes, side of my husband paid for
- 33:00Speaker 1: because because your father was no longer alive.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Correct right? Yeah he yeah, yeah, my father was in here,
- 33:07Speaker 2: So it depends. So what did you wanted to read
- 33:09Speaker 2: the whole thing? Right?
- 33:10Speaker 1: So I'm asking these questions because there is a father
- 33:15Speaker 1: that is refusing to pay for his daughter's destination wedding
- 33:19Speaker 1: that she wants and it costs two hundred thousand dollars,
- 33:22Speaker 1: And now she and her mother are giving him the
- 33:25Speaker 1: silent treatment because they want him to pay the two
- 33:28Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars for this wedding. And he's been dragged
- 33:33Speaker 1: through the internet saying that he should spend two hundred thousand.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Innt know that he did this? How does the internet
- 33:40Speaker 2: even know this?
- 33:41Speaker 1: Well, he reached out. Sorry, the father has been dragged
- 33:45Speaker 1: for reaching out to the internet to ask if he
- 33:47Speaker 1: should spend two hundred thousand dollars on his daughter's destination forward,
- 33:51Speaker 1: he posted an anonymous form that's that his wife and
- 33:55Speaker 1: daughter are both giving him the silent treatment because well,
- 33:58Speaker 1: just cost.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Of wedding, okay, just for that. The man needs to
- 34:02Speaker 2: pay for the wedding. Okay, the wedding. The way to
- 34:04Speaker 2: the Internet.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I mean in New Zealand. The weddings in New Zealand
- 34:09Speaker 1: and they live in New York.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Okay, destination wedding. Okay.
- 34:16Speaker 1: He says he can easily afford the wedding, but thinks
- 34:19Speaker 1: it's throwing money away. People on set Line says it's
- 34:21Speaker 1: his fault for raising a spoiled brat.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Uh huh Okay, Well why is she a spoiled rap
- 34:28Speaker 2: because she wants a destination wedding and it costs two
- 34:31Speaker 2: hundred K. I mean, I don't think why she's a
- 34:33Speaker 2: spoiled brat like that? That's what I'm saying that. First
- 34:35Speaker 2: of all, his biggest mistake was it he went to
- 34:37Speaker 2: the internet to ask random people that don't even know
- 34:40Speaker 2: him to care about him or his daughter or his
- 34:42Speaker 2: wife or his family. That was just a silly question,
- 34:45Speaker 2: like how are you even a millionaire? Or how do
- 34:48Speaker 2: you even have money? Because you're so stupid? I mean, honestly,
- 34:51Speaker 2: like this is like a man, like how old is he?
- 34:55Speaker 1: I didn't get his bio. I don't know how old
- 34:58Speaker 1: he is, but he definitely yeah. I mean, you know,
- 35:01Speaker 1: ask a stupid question and you may not even here,
- 35:05Speaker 1: you may not hear what you want to hear, and you're.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Going to get a stupid answer. You ask a stupid question,
- 35:09Speaker 2: you're going to get a stupid answer.
- 35:11Speaker 1: So you don't think he should pay for it?
- 35:14Speaker 2: No, I think he should.
- 35:15Speaker 1: You think he should? Yeah, you think he should.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Well, first of all, the dads, if you're lucky enough
- 35:20Speaker 2: to have your father around the day that you get married,
- 35:24Speaker 2: I think it's been a custom and a tradition that
- 35:27Speaker 2: the father gives you away, and also the father of
- 35:29Speaker 2: the bride pays for the wedding. He should have a
- 35:32Speaker 2: say in it, just like his wife. Right, So I mean,
- 35:35Speaker 2: I feel like the husband has the money, but remember
- 35:39Speaker 2: the husband is married. The dad is married to the
- 35:42Speaker 2: girl's mom, which is the wife, so therefore it becomes
- 35:44Speaker 2: her money as well. So it's not his two hundred k,
- 35:47Speaker 2: it's her two hundred k too, and she wants to
- 35:50Speaker 2: do this for her daughter. So I think they should
- 35:52Speaker 2: sit down like a normal family and have this discussion.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I'm guessing she doesn't have access to the cash.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Well she should, Well, then maybe something even better will
- 36:02Speaker 2: come out about and say, and by the.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Way, she'll have access to So I had.
- 36:06Speaker 2: A two hundred a hundred is mine, and you're going
- 36:09Speaker 2: to put in your hundred and I'm going to put
- 36:10Speaker 2: in my hundred, and we're going to pay for a
- 36:12Speaker 2: daughter's wedding because that's what she wants. I mean, especially
- 36:15Speaker 2: that he keeps on reiterating that he does have the money.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Oh no, because I have the money, and I have
- 36:21Speaker 2: the money, and I have the money. So if you
- 36:22Speaker 2: have the money, then pay up.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Maybe he sees maybe, maybe he sees something. Maybe he's like,
- 36:28Speaker 1: this guy's a loser. This isn't gonna last. I don't
- 36:30Speaker 1: want to blow out my money.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Maybe you see something that can happen to any but
- 36:35Speaker 2: that's different. He didn't give all that information.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Hey didn't. You're not guessing this is Marisol's thoughts, perhaps,
- 36:41Speaker 1: but it's not that.
- 36:42Speaker 2: But if you want if that's the reason, then I
- 36:44Speaker 2: back that up, Like, you don't have to participate in
- 36:47Speaker 2: your daughter's wedding at all just because you have money.
- 36:49Speaker 2: If you don't agree with the person she chose, or
- 36:52Speaker 2: you don't agree with the marriage or whatever, that's different.
- 36:56Speaker 2: But if it's just because what the article says, which
- 37:00Speaker 2: is that they live in New York City and there's
- 37:03Speaker 2: plenty of beautiful venues, and why do they have to
- 37:07Speaker 2: go to New Zealand and spend that amount of money
- 37:09Speaker 2: when they can probably spend less and just stay in
- 37:11Speaker 2: New York. That's what he wants, but that's not what
- 37:14Speaker 2: his daughter wants. Or maybe he should do something else
- 37:17Speaker 2: and say, you know what, I think it's a waste
- 37:18Speaker 2: of money giving you two hundred thousand and just blowing
- 37:21Speaker 2: them in New Zealand on a wedding. What if I
- 37:23Speaker 2: give you the two hundred thousand and you do whatever
- 37:25Speaker 2: you want with it, because you know sometimes when they
- 37:27Speaker 2: give you the money, you're like, ah, now it's my money.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Like right, I want to spend two hundred thousand.
- 37:31Speaker 1: On a wedding. That's a good idea. Or here, I'll
- 37:34Speaker 1: give you one hundred and if you want to pay
- 37:35Speaker 1: for two hundred thousand dollars and you could pay for
- 37:37Speaker 1: the rest of it or your fancy husband or whatever.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I know that, you know, my dad was comfortable, and
- 37:45Speaker 1: if he had said to me, now I'm not giving
- 37:48Speaker 1: you two hundred thousand dollars for a wedding, I would
- 37:49Speaker 1: not push it. And I certainly want to have my
- 37:51Speaker 1: mother and me giving him the silence treatment, because if
- 37:53Speaker 1: he didn't want it. I was not going to push it.
- 37:55Speaker 1: It was his money, he earned it, and I wanted
- 37:57Speaker 1: to I would respect him.
- 37:59Speaker 2: You know your parents there for your first wedding.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Uh, yeah, but it was a justice of the peace
- 38:05Speaker 1: in the living room. It's five pie went to dinner
- 38:08Speaker 1: for your first wedding. I was going to the courthouse. Actually,
- 38:11Speaker 1: I've never had a big wedding. They've always been like,
- 38:14Speaker 1: you know, me and the groom and that's about it.
- 38:17Speaker 1: So that's I have five people at my first wedding,
- 38:23Speaker 1: no people at the second.
- 38:24Speaker 2: I know when to be consulted by that. Yeah, thank you,
- 38:27Speaker 2: thank you very much for not inviting me.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Us to Aspen, or to none of them, or to
- 38:33Speaker 1: or Scotland or Scotland.
- 38:35Speaker 2: The thing with you is that you never know when
- 38:36Speaker 2: you're getting married. You never know when you're getting married.
- 38:39Speaker 2: So that's why I never get the invite.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Well, I told you about Aspen. I told you about Scotland,
- 38:44Speaker 1: not just not Mexico, because I didn't even know that
- 38:46Speaker 1: was going to happen.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Scott anywhere. And you renewed your bowls. But yeah, I
- 38:49Speaker 2: expect to get invited next time when we go to
- 38:53Speaker 2: with the same man, though, I want you to marry
- 38:55Speaker 2: the same man. So I just want to go to
- 38:57Speaker 2: your wedding with Steep, not with anybody else.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Of course, it's not that's not even an option, not
- 39:04Speaker 1: even an option. I mean, I don't. I feel really
- 39:07Speaker 1: bad for the guy. I don't think that good for him.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I don't think that love should be a negotiation. And
- 39:15Speaker 1: you know it from your father, from your father, like
- 39:18Speaker 1: you know, maybe you want to torture your husband and
- 39:19Speaker 1: give him the silent treatment because you want to buy
- 39:21Speaker 1: you something or give you money, but your daddy who
- 39:23Speaker 1: raised you, like I want you on a k for
- 39:25Speaker 1: a wedding. I don't know. If my dad said no,
- 39:27Speaker 1: one'd be like, okay, dad, sorry, Like what are you
- 39:29Speaker 1: comfortable with? That's how I would be about it.
- 39:32Speaker 2: But you think that there should be a limit on
- 39:34Speaker 2: how much you should spend on a wedding.
- 39:35Speaker 1: I think that it's even if you can afford him.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I think it's his money. And if he thinks that's
- 39:41Speaker 1: ridiculous and he earned it and he doesn't want to
- 39:43Speaker 1: spend it on that, then you know, and he's the one.
- 39:45Speaker 2: I mean, he doesn't have to. He doesn't have to. Absolutely,
- 39:48Speaker 2: I mean, this is a gift you know that you're doing.
- 39:50Speaker 2: It's a daughter, Yes, it's a gift.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Raised.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I was always raised that you need to earn those gifts.
- 39:56Speaker 2: So I mean, I'm not sure you know what relationship
- 39:59Speaker 2: she has with her father. A kind of seemed that
- 40:00Speaker 2: she expects it just because he has the money. And
- 40:03Speaker 2: that's not always the case, right, I mean, your parents
- 40:05Speaker 2: can be very wealthy and they don't have to It's
- 40:08Speaker 2: not there. How do you say this like that they
- 40:11Speaker 2: have to give it to you? You know, it's not
- 40:13Speaker 2: like they're they have to do that for you.
- 40:15Speaker 1: And listen on the and on the other hand, I mean,
- 40:18Speaker 1: how I've known a lot of Cuban friends that their
- 40:22Speaker 1: parents had no money and they second mortgage their house
- 40:25Speaker 1: to have a big wedding for their kid. Huge. You know,
- 40:29Speaker 1: it's just the way your thought process, how you're brought up.
- 40:32Speaker 2: And yeah, I think it could be a little cultural too. Yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 2: you're right, Yeah, but I think all that has changed
- 40:38Speaker 2: because unfortunately, you know, there's so much divorce in the
- 40:41Speaker 2: world now that I think even the own couples are like,
- 40:44Speaker 2: you know, should we really invest and spend all this
- 40:47Speaker 2: money on our wedding? That maybe you know, four or
- 40:50Speaker 2: five years down the line, you know, we're not even
- 40:53Speaker 2: together anymore, and we spend you know, two hundred thousand
- 40:55Speaker 2: and half a million. I mean there's people that spend
- 40:57Speaker 2: a million and two million on their weddings.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't even have to be a celebrity, just
- 41:02Speaker 2: like anybody, of.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Course, and then everybody walks away and criticizes it.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Yes, you get saying everybody has fun except the groom
- 41:10Speaker 2: and the.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Bride and the groom. I know, it's the parties for
- 41:14Speaker 1: everybody else because you're running around the whole night, you know.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Taking I personally think, I personally think it's a waste
- 41:21Speaker 2: of money. Now you know that I'm older, and I'm
- 41:24Speaker 2: on my third marriage, you know, the first time around
- 41:27Speaker 2: when you are in your twenties, you know, and especially
- 41:30Speaker 2: like when we grew up, like I always dreamed of
- 41:32Speaker 2: getting married and having a beautiful Catholic you know, celebration
- 41:36Speaker 2: you know in the church, and getting married in the
- 41:38Speaker 2: Catholic church, which never happened, and having for reception you know,
- 41:43Speaker 2: with Willie Chitto and miamis Machine and you know, yes, right,
- 41:51Speaker 2: so that's what I wanted, you know. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.
- 41:54Speaker 2: So I feel like sometimes when it doesn't happen the
- 41:56Speaker 2: first time, you kind of want it the second time.
- 41:58Speaker 2: And so I I did it the second time. But
- 42:01Speaker 2: my father was in here, so he didn't always tell
- 42:03Speaker 2: my parents that, like they save so much money, you know,
- 42:07Speaker 2: with me, you know, they never had to pay for
- 42:08Speaker 2: those things. But the man had to do. The mans
- 42:11Speaker 2: had to pay, not my parents. But so then the
- 42:15Speaker 2: second time around, you know, Hermit paid for it because
- 42:18Speaker 2: you know, he was a guy. And then now it
- 42:21Speaker 2: was kind of like you know, Todd and I paid
- 42:23Speaker 2: like for some things that were important to me, and
- 42:25Speaker 2: he paid for you know, most of the things. But
- 42:28Speaker 2: I love flowers, so like I was like, I don't
- 42:32Speaker 2: care what they cost. I'm paying for them.
- 42:34Speaker 1: They were spectacular, your flowers.
- 42:35Speaker 2: I think we're a little bit different, like the woman
- 42:38Speaker 2: and the man. So flowers were important to me. The
- 42:40Speaker 2: guy doesn't care whether it's like you know, la Rosa
- 42:42Speaker 2: is from Columbia or for it's from like Switzerland, whatever,
- 42:45Speaker 2: you know, or like the decor. They care more like
- 42:47Speaker 2: about the booze and the music and whatever. So like
- 42:50Speaker 2: you said, it's like a conversation we have to sit
- 42:53Speaker 2: down and talk. You know, yes, it is my wedding,
- 42:55Speaker 2: but if your dad's paying for it, I think you
- 42:57Speaker 2: should have a little bit of a say. And I
- 42:59Speaker 2: think she's just such a little bit sweeter she'll she'll
- 43:04Speaker 2: get them to pay, you know, for the wedding.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Yeah, the silent treatments, that's cruel.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Especially during this time that you're actually it's a beautiful
- 43:11Speaker 2: time in your life and you're preferring your wedding and
- 43:13Speaker 2: you want, you know, your family to be good and
- 43:16Speaker 2: and and it's it's.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing, if he ends up having
- 43:21Speaker 1: to do that wedding, when he's gonna drag her down
- 43:23Speaker 1: the aisle by her hair, he's gonna be so pissy
- 43:26Speaker 1: they made him do it? Agree with?
- 43:30Speaker 2: Like with He'll be like, no, I don't, but yeah,
- 43:33Speaker 2: but I just think his biggest mistake was just going
- 43:36Speaker 2: on the internet. That was really that really I think
- 43:41Speaker 2: it's so funny how like again, I always say that
- 43:43Speaker 2: how we get criticized for doing like reality TV. But
- 43:46Speaker 2: there's like people that don't even know and like they're
- 43:48Speaker 2: like looking for this, you know what I mean that
- 43:50Speaker 2: one of the people's like validations and like other people.
- 43:53Speaker 2: It's like, why would you do that? I think he
- 43:55Speaker 2: made things worse with his wife and with his daughter
- 44:00Speaker 2: intead of just like sitting down, you know, like a
- 44:02Speaker 2: mature aunt and like a father and like the head
- 44:04Speaker 2: of your family and just having that conversation. Oh yeah,
- 44:07Speaker 2: but see, do you think we'll get invited to the wedding?
- 44:09Speaker 2: I want to go. If the wedding's in New Zealand,
- 44:11Speaker 2: you'll get a.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Who do you think he's not going to fly you there?
- 44:15Speaker 1: He's a miser.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yeah, But anyways, I really do hope he pays for
- 44:20Speaker 2: it because it's a special time in her life. Yeah,
- 44:23Speaker 2: and I believe in love and marriage, and.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I know we both believe in love and marriage.
- 44:27Speaker 2: So yeah, and if he has the money, you know what,
- 44:29Speaker 2: you only live once. Make your daughter happy.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Well maybe you know another thing I thought of was,
- 44:34Speaker 1: you know, perhaps she's a little she is spoiled, and
- 44:36Speaker 1: maybe he's trying to pump the brakes. Yeah it's a
- 44:41Speaker 1: little too late.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's a little bit too late.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Who knows. Who knows what it's like at their house
- 44:45Speaker 1: and what she's like, and what he's like, or who
- 44:47Speaker 1: these people really are. I just know how I would
