- 2:45[SPEAKER_03]: a two comma club awardee, a seven-figure entrepreneur and the architect behind over four million dollars in digital product sales.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: He's the host of the influence to impact podcasts, a powerhouse mentor who has helped thousands.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_03]: Secure funding has guided multiple students to hit their first million dollars.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_03]: Not through luck.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: not, but through strategy systems and using other people's money, the right way.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_03]: So this is why this is the point, because you could use other people's money and mess up, but how do you use other people's money, the right way from navigating the chaos of the pandemic to dominating online business space.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's proven that when you understand influence infrastructure and income,
- 3:33[SPEAKER_03]: you can scale anything if you're ready to learn how to fund your business with leverage build the digital empire from scratch and tap into a mentorship that creates million it is this is the man behind the blueprint the one the only dairy's business
- 3:52[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go and know if it ain't out of the hell of an introduction, my voice is you man.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'll say the two behind the scenes, man, but I truly appreciate everything that you're doing for our culture because, you know, for myself, as somebody who's been in the financial literacy game for a very long time, I've seen a lot of people come and go.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen a lot of people who, like, only care about getting the bag and then just trying to
- 4:16[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, teach about credit and funding and things that they take and go in and out, uh, but for me, um, I appreciate not those who could make money, but those who through what they could make money, but they could also help others make money.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's what I appreciate about you the most because I remember, uh,
- 4:36[SPEAKER_03]: In our first interview, you were like giving a lot of gain, right, a lot of people benefited from the information that you gave out, but since then, not only have you implemented at a high level for yourself.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_03]: but you've also have created so many people who have made their first million dollars and that is really important because that shows that not only are you helping people get funding but that funding is also helping them build the business, right?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_03]: So before we get to all the sauce though, for those who don't know
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: who is Diaries been the show man.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a young black man from Boston, Massachusetts.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: I like to say Boston raised me, but Atlanta pays me man.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's been three years now.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: I've been in Atlanta October 2022.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: I made that decision to just move and there was only my third month of business actually generate a revenue and man we just been helping people really grow.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's always saying it's crazy how one year could change your life and I say you know the biggest thing the biggest mistake people make is not taking into risk or playing a smart we say if you play a smart you stay a smart so over the last few years we've been able to we've been responsible for over 40 million dollars in funding between clients, mentees
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: on mentees now out changing the world helping now six five people generate a million dollars in their business over 80 people generate six figures in their business and we have a lot more men as they were looking to create a man so on blessed man highly favorite and just looking to continue to bless the people and build with the people yeah and I love that so you felt thousands to cure funding um what would you say is the biggest misconception entrepreneurs have about using other people's money?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: The biggest misconception is people think that the funding is going to solve their problem because when we hear the stat like most businesses fear due to lack of capital What I learned is actually If you have a money problem, it's not because you don't have money is because you don't have money plus a plan So a lot of people think they get their money then they're gonna do the thing but the biggest the biggest mistake you can do is that What you need to do is you need to get the money that you need to get a blueprint So if I want to start a podcast and I go try to do it on my own those cameras they call some money
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: This mic, this car's money.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: So instead of me going to get the wrong camera, which is going to cost me more, I can just pay AskCash and he could show me how to start their right way, how to get their right equipment, how to set up my studio.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: So when entrepreneurs say, I just need to back, because I want to get in the real estate, I want to get in the Airbnb, I want to start my digital business.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, okay, but what happened to the reason I got an education, they kept coming back to me.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: They kept saying, yo, I fumble the back.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yo, I lost the money.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I kept telling you, you need a blueprint.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell any entrepreneur, you know, stay ready so you don't get ready in a way you stay ready.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's about having a coach having a blueprint.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: And knowing exactly what you want to do because if you don't have a plan, you'll fall for anything.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I love that.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: Can you break down the difference between good debt and bad debt?
- 7:19[SPEAKER_03]: And like, why is that really like important?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: As you start going into funding.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: 100% good debt is when you leverage the debt,
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: either into an asset, no, not either.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, good days when you leverage it into an asset.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason I was going to say either is because an asset or business, but you are an asset.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: You were the greatest asset.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of people think about investing into the S&P 500, investing to the S&P 500, right?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: Invest into you because one thing I learned is when you invest into yourself, you get an infinite return.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like the skills I paid for years ago, I'm still using.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still making millions of dollars to skill I paid for three years, right?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: you know obviously real estate is great you know stocks and all that stuff is great but I'm big on investment you because when you compound skill sets you get to a point where you're almost unstoppable right like the first skill set I learned was funding then I'm like okay this is good I got myself funding everyone's asking me how did they get funding but then people start asking what can you get me funding that's another skill I layer then it's like well how do I get it for them all eyeballs then I have to master digital marketing
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: Then it's like, well, how do I communicate better so I can be able to close more deals?
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, selling because selling is serving.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: So what I'm saying is, if you're an entrepreneur and you're trying to make more money, then you need to solve more problems or solve bigger problems.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: And we want to just make money.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: You don't make money because you want to make money.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: You make money by obsessing over your clients and your leads problems.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: And if you do that, you always make money.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_03]: And I love that because I get obviously, you know, we've seen that.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen you do it.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen
- 8:48[SPEAKER_03]: And that's how you become successful on it.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_03]: Walk me through the top three things.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody has to have in place in order to get funding, right?
- 8:57[SPEAKER_03]: Because people have that, you know, I want to use other person's people's money, but they might not be set up the right way.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: Makes sense.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: The most important thing I tell you is the foundation.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: The foundation is your personal credit.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: And what I want to be clear for anyone watching is it's not just your credit score.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone talks about happening 75th to 720, but the most important thing is your credit profile.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: Your credit profile tells the story, it tells basically your past.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: And as it's saying goes, you know, whatever your past is, it's typically predicate on your future.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: So when banks are looking for how much strength do you have, how much age do you have.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell entrepreneurs, you want to start looking at it like if someone came to you, if I came to you, and now it's my first time ever borrow money,
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: Right, only because I don't have that track record that shows.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell people, make sure that you add in primary accounts.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: You can do these at places like Navy Fed, DCU where you can build internal relationships with them.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: Paydown loans that are going to help you to be able to now build fast.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: What this does is this helps you to be able to get your first high limit personal credit card, which is going to set us up later for the business side.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: So personal credit profiles first.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: The second thing is your business structure.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people think you just go get an entity and you're good to go.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: The thing is you want to make sure that your business is operating and looking like a big business, right?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: a business email, a business address, a business phone number.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, can you get funding if you don't have it, if you just use yourself for a number, or you just use your home address?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but are you maximizing on the funding?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, right?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then the third thing I'll tell you is, you wanna understand strategy.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: right when it comes to business lending when it comes to credit card stacking is the strategy to go about it.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: And what I tell people is you want to understand simply, if I were to put it in the layman's terms, what banks pull from what bureaus.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: Because if I know that, now I can go out and get the cars I want based on where they are pulling from, which allows me to maximize and 10x the amount of funding I can get.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: So just just a clarity for those who may not understand, right?
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: There's three credit bureaus, right?
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: You got training, you're transmitting an Equal Facts experience.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: You're saying that when a bank is pulling to see whether you qualify or not, they don't pull from all, they don't pull from all three.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: They pull from one.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: So for example, experience, right?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: If I wanted to go,
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: should usually credit cards stack and I wanted only credit cards that poor from experience.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: I will go navy fed on the business side because they poor from experience.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: I will go American Express because I can get five business credit cards with one inquiry for one from experience and then I could also go chase.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: But with Chase, I will tell you all, you should typically make them one of your first lenders.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: The reason why is because they have some quarter five, 24 rule, which means if you go get more than five, if you have more than five new credit cards within a 24 month time spent, you're going to get denied.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: So based on me knowing that, I just showed you how to go get eight business credit cards that only poor from experience.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: But guess what?
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: I still have echo facts and trends you in available.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: So if I want to go put some banks that poor from echo facts, I can go check out true is.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: I can go check out universe and also I can also go check out key bank.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now I've just maximized a guy eight plus three.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm at 11 business credit card.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: If I only average 10,000 a card We're looking at a hundred thousand dollars of funding which allows me to open up the doors go get a mentor put in the marketing bill to go product and build a business At yo
- 12:06[SPEAKER_03]: And so, so walk us through the first 50 case someone should aim to get and or you kind of gave us that, but like, what is the smartest or now they get this money?
- 12:18[SPEAKER_03]: What is the the smartest way for them to deploy it?
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: The play.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, first thing you want to do is, again, you want to find somebody who's coming back from when you're looking to go.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: So let's say for example, you're looking to build online business, looking to build a personal brand.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: What is the skill set or a gift that you have from God that you can now show others how to do?
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: All right, you go learn how to do that.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: You learn how to, um, about fronters, learn about automation, learn about systems.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: You learn how to build an actual infrastructure and it most importantly, a good product through a good service because if you build that, then selling becomes easy to promise.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: People go right into the marketing and it's talking about it before they build a good foundation.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: So that's step one.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: The second thing after we've copied a blueprint from somebody who has the blueprint is you want to blow up your brand, right?
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: I say visibility, visibility, visibility.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: When I came into the game, you know, there was a lot of people online that I was looking up to
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: 90% of the industry because we understand that marketing wins, right?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: I always say it's God, family, they're marketing.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're not marketing your business then you leave a money on the table.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: So the three, the four biggest ways I tell people that you want to deploy this money when it comes to marketing is the overall thing is OPA, other people's audience.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: First is going to be, first is going to be shout out pages, right?
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: Blog pages.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's heard of Hollywood a lot.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: You heard a shade room.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: You heard a war stop, but people don't know that you can pay the play.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: leverage.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: There are, say, I $4 million, 2 million, 3 million followers.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm bringing them back to me.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: But before we do that, you need to have a foundation.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Most people they think that just go to other people's audience, but have the foundation first.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: So where you can do that is go to chat GBT right now.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: Type in, give me a list of the top 10, most commonly asked questions when it comes to your industry.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: The reason you do that is because you want to be the person who solves people's problems for free.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: Right, I always like to compare it to you every minute of the Chinese food court and The Chinese about at the mall what's the difference between them marketing and every other places marketing they give you free Sam yeah, they don't give you chicken and say you state So I tell you you need to adopt that philosophy in your business You need to give giving give you a gift the way most people they want to just ask people to buy without giving so what I different first two years I just give away top three banks top credit unions best places to go build business credit best places to build your credit and I'm giving away so much value So when I ask
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: people feel like they owe you right.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: So you want to have that foundation.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: After we go shot our pages, what I would say you to do is go podcast.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: Podcasts is the most powerful way for building a brand online.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: Three factors leverage.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: You have an audience that I don't have.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: They're with Gillian, what I have audience.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have it.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: uh... uh... uh... whoever marvellous will have an audience that i don't have so i come on your platform i'm now able to what steal your audience and bring it to me that's the first and the second thing is authority when i've sneaker front of his mike people watch me to get soon that i know something and because of that it creates curiosity creates compensation the third thing is trust we're in a trust uh... epidemic with people on trust people so now which you get to do is i get to insert that i know what i'm talking about by giving away plays right so those are the three biggest ways out of the park has i would say to go on a podcast rumba
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: where most people go wrong is they just do a podcast and that's it.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: What we do is we understand images make money on the front and experts make money on the back and so now with this podcast what I can do is I can say as I want the long form, I can take it put it on my YouTube, I can also take it put it in an opus clips.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Now, opus clips is going to give me 40 clips.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: where I now have those 40 clips to be able to put back on my Instagram, back on my TikTok, back on my YouTube shorts, which create omnipresence.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: Now, everywhere you go, people see me.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: Again, if the people don't know you, they can't flow you, whichever out of the organic content does the best, I take it and I'm going to run ads on it and this gets you your lowest cost for lead, which is able to help you maximize.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the second way.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: In the third thing, I'll tell you to do is, um,
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: You want to leverage Facebook ads once you have a viable scalable product like you need to know your ROI If I put a dollar in my business, do I get too bad even if you get too bad as a business owner?
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's good that means if I spend 10,000 I can get 20,000 right and I tell people when you're doing this because we're talking about marketing I don't want people to think oh just market they gain customers no market to serve people because
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you do heart work, you're never going to have a money problem to promise, people think it's just about selling.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think of selling and serving, which is why I'm being able to help people.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: If you work on solving people's problems, you're always being business because the last way of marketing is word of mouth.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: We get a lot of referrals.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: My inner circle alone, the third of it, comes from people who already got a result.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: So, most people are thinking, how do I acquire new customers when one, you can use the customers that you already have, create an affiliate program, to be able to bring you more customers.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: Woof.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_03]: I told y'all, I told y'all, I told y'all this is going to be one of the ones y'all, but I want to go back because I hear this a lot about, you know, you said I still eloquently there visibility, beatability all the time, I mean, you're, you're a mentor now and you, you know, you're coaching a lot of people.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_03]: Is there a, in fact, do you have to have it?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_03]: If not, there was, could anybody with the right tools market their business like, why are people so afraid to like, put their businesses out there?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean fair it's like you know I would say faith and fear can never coexist you have to pick one most people don't know now They always say you talk so well.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: I tell people I used to be scared to death to talk like I used to stutter I used to be sweating, but what I understood is that you know in life you can have excuses you can have results So I noticed all the people who are marketing and business were making the most money Why not because they're just marketing because when they're marketing the most deserving the most people so you have to say to yourself
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: am I going to allow fear false evidence to pay real to override my faith is choosing lack over abundance anybody can do it.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I say entrepreneurship is a faith based work right.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's scary.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's scary.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's all right.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: So anybody can do it if they operate in faith and are willing to follow a blueprint.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: The blueprint works.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: for anybody.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care what you sell, whether you sell, because I sell money.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: So some people might think, oh, it's easy sell is funny.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we coach people who are in the area of B to B. I coach people in the real estate.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I was in another maximum.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: I would a lady who taught woman over 50 how to bake better cake cakes and make this and if you're other happy.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: She doing 60,000 a month.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: So my point is it doesn't matter what type of industry you're in.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you get in the front of enough people, you're going to make the money.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: And like, is there like an effect that is there somebody watching right now who's like, man, I don't, I don't, you know what I'm saying?
- 18:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't talk well.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: I don't look the certain way or whatever.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like, is there just a certain set of people that are destined to be successful in business or like?
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody can everybody here can be success or not.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I give a little side gem to anybody right here who's like, I'm fearful and I don't know how to get better.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is the thing that changed my life.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to get to your first million dollars as quick as possible as I'm going to tell them a secret, do a webinar every day for one year straight.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry every week for one year straight.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: I did a webinar three years straight twice a week, never took a week off, never took a week off.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason why is because I want people to understand,
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: with a webinar does is if you don't know it's a live sales presentation, but what it does is it turns all your weaknesses and the strengths.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're not good at speaking every week, you're speaking twice a week, you're getting better.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not good at marketing, it forces you to get good at marketing because you've got to get people in the room.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not great about talking about your product, now you get good about talking about your product, pain points, the solutions because it forces you to do that and it forces you to get better at selling, serving because at the end you don't want to keep going to
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, I say this is the cheat code because when I'm doing these things, I'm like, you know, it has to work or it has to work.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of times, just like in business, when people do these, what it does is they say, oh, it didn't work.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't make a dollar to my fifth webinar.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember calling my coach like listen, I don't know what this is doing at working.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I could have said, I'm going to try VSL.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: I want to try something else.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I said, no, let me keep going because you have to understand that.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes, you know, you're not being broken, you're being built.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, when we in the gym, right, you got to break your muscles down before they grow back, same thing in entrepreneurship.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: So anybody can do it if they got the mindset.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_03]: And so what what funding mistakes that you see entrepreneurs make that instantly kill their chances
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: I say not right now it's not building the relationships because when the time we're right now where I don't want to say banks are super tight, but they're tighter in terms of you having an actual relationship.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: So what I tell people is go and season for between 30 and 60 days, right?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: And what that means is if you have a business, you have deposits coming in a lot of that money to sit for a little bit.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't have money coming in that's fine, too, what we're going to do is we can manually deposit some money into those accounts.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: One of the best ways you can do this I'm going to get your
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: What you can do is, you can go to a place like so-fi, avance, upgrade, upstart.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: These are personal loans.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: Some people call them bridge loans.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: Some people call it deck consolidation loans.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: All the same thing.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: What you can do is, you can go apply for one of these.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: If you get approved, they will deposit the money into your checking account within 24 to 48 hours.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Now what you can do is you can take this money and you can do something called relationship stacking so now this is the person named i can go to the party let's say i got to prove to me thousand i can go deposit five k in the chase five k in the b o a five k in the u as bank allow it to season for thirty days
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: And now I have an internal relationship with those banks, and because of that, when I go to a apply, they see I have a good credit, business structure, and 5,000 sitting in there, I'm going to get the highest limit they have.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: For most people who they walk up to you, like if I came up to you as a stranger, you ain't know me, and I'm like, how are you doing, Ash?
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on, man?
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: I see you show you.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: We're going crazy.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: I brought some bread.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: You want to be like, man, if you want to get on my face, right?
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: So it's the same thing with the banks.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: We think we can just, you know, meet them and just do whatever we want, but that's the key right now.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: So don't make the mistake of just saying, you're going to go in and apply, build a rapport,
- 21:42[SPEAKER_03]: And I love that because I think that because everything seems digitized, right?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_03]: People think that, you know, relationship with a bank doesn't matter, but knowing, you know, that, you know, hey, build this relationship because you could get funding from them.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_03]: Do you, uh, is it only focusing on, um, you know, you know, big banks, but, or, or is it big banks, credit unions like,
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: Great question.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: So what I tell people was start with credit unions, right?
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: The reason you want to start with credit unions because these are non-for-profit organizations which means they're looking to give you this money and with credit unions, they're a lot more lean in terms of the criteria.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: So with national banks, the ones I just talked about, it's very black and white.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: You either got this or you didn't.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: Unless you have a banking relationship manager, but with credit unions, you can negotiate.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: For example, the first player I've got was digital federal credit unions.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: Initially they had given me 12.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: And then no, a list of the give me 15 and I said, hey, I was looking for like 25 and she was like, I'll see if we can do a reconsideration.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't end up giving me the 25, but they met me at 22 five, right?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: And they also think about credit unions.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of times they'll allow you to do something called double dip, which means they'll give you like multiple products or one inquiry.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: So you can go get, you know, a credit card, a line of credit alone, a auto loan, all under the same inquiry as long as it's in.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: typically a 30 to 60 day time frame, which allows you more leverage because now from one big you and every two to three products, every go to three banks now you talk about more money more stacking.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: So tell you start with credit unions because they also, the biggest reason I love them is because these bills are called comparable limits.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: So when it comes to the business, all right, they're looking at what we talk about, personal credit business structure, but the, but the third thing they're looking for is
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: What are your comparable limits?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: What do you have on the personal side?
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you only got a cap of the one card for a thousand dollars and now you try and go to chase business Incax for 50,000 They're gonna be like we don't got nothing to go off of right, so you want to have at least two personal credit cards What a ten thousand dollar limit and this is gonna be the thing that sets you up because on the business I think you two at three times the amount more typically on average.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: I love that love that
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: could this work right for somebody who only has a nine to five?
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: So like they they just have a nine to five they haven't set up their business yet, but they do want to go into business.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_03]: How can somebody like that use other people's money?
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: 100% absolutely people people so the thing with funding is everyone thinks about business funding only, but here's the reality
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: 80 to only 18 percent of people in America are business owners.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: So when people say I only want to fund to businesses, you're saying I'm leaving 82 percent of money on the table.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot of people who are working on the files, you don't have a business yet, who want some fun and they want to close on a house, they want money to put into a house, they want to do everyday things.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: So 100 percent where we can do is we can leverage personal credit for them, whether it's personal credit cards, personal lines of credit or personal loans, which is underrated play.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: But I would tell them if they're looking to start a business while I have their nine or five, then they should set up an LLC now because the soon that you set up the LLC or the entity, the more you allow it to age, the more it ages, the more funding we can get, right?
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I think people that are doing nine or five when they hear these conversations, they think it's not for them.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: I got people, you know, you know, maps, maps came to me.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's working at nine or five.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: Maps quit his job within three months, but maps was making $40 to $50,000 a month before he quit.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: So imagine working in a nine or five, you making your money and you also make it 50,000 in your business.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell people, I don't tell people quit their job.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: I tell people, use your job as your, as more leverage on top of the funding leverage to be able to bet on yourself and build your dreams until your income from your business exceeds, exceeds your job income and you have a cushion, right?
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: So if you have a nine or five right now, get into the business, start working on the business, building the business so that one day you can strategically exit your job and fire your boss when you are in position to do so.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I love that, and speaking of which, man, like, firing your boss, you know, you started, you know, really kind of your business, like you said, during a time where we're just getting out of a pandemic, a lot going on, how did the pandemic shift your mindset about digital products and all that income?
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: Man changed the game row.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think God's theory day row.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: I said man.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: I wish I was I was during the pandemic But I was just blessed to even see it out to so for me They're transparently people don't know.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was in a nightlife business.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: I was a party promoter and when pandemic came up from up north Boston nightlife shut down So at Lenny y'all is open.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm traveling out here trying to throw parties because that's all I know at the time But it's not working between travel booking guests.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going in the hole
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I look up one day and I'm asking my mom to help me with a cell phone bill because I'm down to my last couple hundred dollars and I look back as a man I'm like damn like I'm like God how do I get here right and what I realize now is things are happening to you to happen for you.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: I needed that because what it did was it made me say okay.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't going to work but God had a bigger a bigger purpose for me.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: So long story short, I got into a room I met people and once I learned about digital products, bro was a rap, like I was making literally a thousand dollars a day of ebooks and in many courses, right?
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: And what it did was it allowed me to realize that we don't have to make money on our feet.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: We can make money on our sleep.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're so accustomed to our from around the way we're accustomed to trade time for money.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: But what you realize is we're trading time for money, you'll always be a slave to money.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: So what you have to do is remove time and exchange it with value.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: And if you change value for money, then you can make money when you want.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: So digital products have been great, man.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then it went from just digital products to the digital services, creating high ticket offers.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I first had a limit in police because I'm like anybody going pay me 2,000, because back home, when I pay you to Google, but what I realized is people will pay, but the reason I didn't think that they would pay me is because I hadn't paid it.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of times we want to serve people and sell people with something, but we have to become the type of person that can create that value to be able to give people.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: So it's been dope, man, like I said, a lot of the year bro, this year alone was our, we helped five people who had a million dollars, 80 people had six figures, we give out a lot of plaques, a lot of people moved to Atlanta, families and all that, so it's been dope, man, the digital game has changed my life because it changed the way I think about not just money,
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: being grateful for where we are, but I understand how much further we can go, how much moving people, how many more people we can't help.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell anybody, man, you should leverage what you do know to be able to love on the people, because most people they think you have to be out of a level 10 before you can start selling digital projects in service, which is the biggest misconception.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: If you're at a level 4, you help the 3-2s and the 1s.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: And as you grow, then you're clientele girls, the problem is people cap and they say, you know, they might have just made it for six figures and they say, you know, these people have to make seven figures.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: How you're going to teach, how you, how you, you can't teach what you have and then you can't leave what you have and gone.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I say the biggest thing is just be transparent because there's always somebody.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot more people at zero than the R.A. seven.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's a fact.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot more people who want to just step up at L.L.C and leave their job.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so funny, you say that because literally has a conversation with Pushman Mitch this weekend.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_03]: And we were saying that like he has one of his mentees that only teaches people how to do, you know, create that else.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_03]: Cook it.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_03]: Fifteen million dollars.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_03]: Cook it, right?
- 28:43[SPEAKER_03]: That crazy crazy.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_03]: Because and I never looked at that way, right?
- 28:47[SPEAKER_03]: So if you got levels one through ten, you're trying to get to level ten before you start teaching.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: But like you said, it's more crowded level one through five.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: And they're gonna pay you easier because you're not too far removed like believe it or not There's people who want pay me now because they think all you said when I was at level three I'm cooking.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: I can teach you how to get your first 50K in front of you and set up your your yeah LLC.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting it.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's funny.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: You say that because for me That's why like I've switched my business model.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right because there was a moment where
- 29:19[SPEAKER_03]: Um, for lack of better words, people looked at me like level five, let's say, and so it was easy.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_03]: Like, oh, yeah, like, I was easy to get paid, but once there's a perception that you got you paid in, if you will, there's a, you know, and again, it's limited belief, though.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_03]: But somebody who's at a level one through four,
- 29:39[SPEAKER_03]: They look at like a cash cash.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's as cash.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_03]: That's so so if that's as cash I hear he'll never mess with me.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_03]: And then so they go mess with the other person You know, so for even so he like even for me I've recognized that so so now I change my business model in which I'm coaching the people who who serve They're exactly.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that way
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: I can still serve the people, but I'm serving the people who serve the people.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: 100% well, which is why it's so important to connect like for us this year, one thing we've done is we're outside more because last year's behind the screen a lot, you know, it's new, you're like, I like these webinars and these just online.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: We realize it's getting outside a lot of the connect with people.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of us as online business owners, the one thing we don't do is get outside, right?
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's easy to like,
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I can make my money for zoom, 90, 90, 90 month, I ain't got no overhead.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: But in person, you know, people say, yo, this is the reason that I've decided I'm going to rock with you.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: But more importantly, this thing has changed my life because it makes it real.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people, we got to realize that they're still in their government, their current environment around the same people who got stinking thinking, around the same people who got limited belief.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: So as much as online helps them the way we can help them even more is bringing them in person to making it real.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_03]: I love that.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_03]: What did COVID teach you about urgency and the opportunity that's in the digital space?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: Man, it's back now.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, opportunity wasted.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: Once I got to play, I was running the play.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I was the person that I was paying everyone from into a ship.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't tell people that pay everyone out once because you learn that there is something called information overload.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: But I rather be, you know, overloaded, being able to go and underloaded with no information.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell you, man, the digital space like if you're on it, it's one of the fastest growing business and it's productive by the year 2030 to be, I think, the fastest growing business in the world.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: Because you have to think, people have not understand it now, traditional education is not the way anymore.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: People understand it.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can pay ads, cash, and really learn how to turn up whatever I want to do for a fraction of the price.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: If schools cost them 50,000 dollars a year, and I can pay you even 10,000 dollars a year,
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: they teach a class, classes on theory, you teach a master class based on what you've done.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: The difference is I make money now versus making money later, and as soon as you get to your dream life, the long you get to enjoy it.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell people, man, learn from people who have done the things that you're looking to do because you're going to speed up your process.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm glad that you said that about the growth of
- 31:54[SPEAKER_03]: the online space because I was seeing a number of the other day that was talking about I think by 2030, it's like the online space, it's going to grow almost double fat.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the fastest.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_03]: The fastest, right?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_03]: And so, what do you say to those people?
- 32:08[SPEAKER_03]: God knows there's a lot, I hear this all the time, like to the people who would be like, oh, man, it's saturated, like, you know, online space, it's actually, it's too many coaches, right?
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: I tell people it's only saturated if you're not willing to do the work right and I got to be honest I'm in the most saturated industry province in the world but I never look at it in saturation because I know that one my person is my person right there's some of who could be better to me at funding but they're not better to be me in funding right so I tell people the online space we can all in the room do the same exact thing there's people going to buy you because you have a family and they love the way you always in a great mood it's someone who's going to buy for me because they might like that I don't have a family yet
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I just move a certain way to someone who might buy from him because he has a different personality.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: People buy from people that they connect with people by people first products in service a second and people are always Comparison, but always say comparison is the default joy and if you just do more work than the other people in industry, you're gonna stand out because most people just really don't do enough work I literally because thousands of people some people go out and make seven figures and some people who they don't move
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: the difference is the mindset, right?
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's mindset, skill set, and tool set.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I tell you, man, get into it.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry about saturation, unless you're someone who's lazy.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: If you're lazy, the same for you.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't tell people it's easy money, right?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing worth having is easy.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing great is easy, but it's definitely worth it because of the benefits.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: You get to serve people.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: I've done a lot of businesses.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's never been a business.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_00]: where I'm so excited about like bro to be able to have someone meet seven figures.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's a different type of feeling.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's more, I'd be more happy for them.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: Doing it.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: I have big games.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's like, we're like, they really did the work.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're looking for something like that.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the side of a good coach.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: And like you turned out like, yeah, yeah.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, man, this impact in this income, right?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: People who want to know why coaches make so much money and they only sell courses to make their money.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: you don't get paid in this world for ever you get paid in the world for the amount of value that you bring to the world so the reason a person can make a lot of money when they coaches because they serve people in the example I give is what's more valuable?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: Me getting you a hundred thousand dollars of funding or me teaching you how to make a hundred thousand dollars every year for the rest of your life and feed your families.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_03]: more valuable as me teaching you how to duplicate it right says in a good book we fruitful and multiply so when you're helping people what you're doing is you're serving yeah yeah I love that what if what if what if it was another pandemic today like what what would like the world shut down what what product would you offer what would you be oh if the pandemic shut down today
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna have the pandemic happening today.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing the same thing.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm doing the same thing because I don't think the bankings even when the pandemic was in the biggest system wasn't there.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is for us, like we, I don't know if a lot of people know, we have entrepreneur, Stark World and Skill.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: So we have three different programs where one is we have the funding program.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: Second is the digital products and the third is the end of circle.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: But people who look in the scale.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: So we have programs where we would teach people how to like double down on marketing.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: We have programs where we teach people how to speak, how to sell, pitch, clothes, things like that.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I would stay in the online space in the money making arena because
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: during pandemic, that's where a lot of entrepreneurs can actually go get busy.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have any plan B, the job is no longer the thing that's mentally imprisoning you, that you have to go alone on yourself.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of people are looking to learn information.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: So when the pandemic's over, they can now go out and do their things.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I'll do the same thing.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_03]: So you used them over $4 million in digital product sales.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_03]: What was that the one offer that changed everything for you?
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: The one off for that change everything, what I would say is the one business model that changed everything for me, I would say was a virtual events selling one to many, I think a lot of people, the problem isn't making money fast, I'm sorry, the problem isn't making money.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_00]: Most people don't have a making money problem, what they have is they have a speed problem, they don't make money fast enough to get to enjoy it.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: So when you go from doing calls all day, right, being burnt out, having 50 book calls this week, like damn, I got to take photos calls, like you don't even like that.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: But when you go one to many what happens is you can take the same 50 people I can put them on one event for one hour and I'm now able to be able to maximize on results because I can create an atmosphere where people feel like buying people don't people think that selling is hard is because they've been taught to sell sleazy but if you sell from a standpoint of serving you still from a standpoint of
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: a breaking down limit and belief selling is easy.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: So now they're saying 50 people in that one hour, I can collapse time, make more money, and I can duplicate that, right?
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: So that's been the thing for us, that has single-handedly changed the game for us.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: And what would you say the biggest mistake people make when trying to launch like their first digital product?
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: I would say not having a sales mechanism, like a lot of people just say all right, I got these flyers.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: I got this content.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: I've been just put it out, but we should realize just people, people don't buy from people to the between five and eight times that they've seen them.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: So we have some car high rows, high rows allows us to see how many times a person has to see me before they purchase.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: The name of the game is data.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know your data, you don't have a business web of hustle.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: So the reason that's so important for us to see is because when I know that, I
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: If I say, oh, that people aren't buying, and I didn't have the numbers, it's easy to quit because you don't, you can't even see what you can't see.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: But if I know, okay, everyone's taking five to eight times above me, I keep showing up because I understand that literally consistency is going to be the thing that gets me what I want.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I say a sales mechanism because you need to have a person that can go from one place to another.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: So for us, like I said, we do the webinar.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: People see my content.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: They go to an often pays.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: They now get sent to a YouTube.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: They now get to show up from our free live class.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's already four touch points.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: So by the time I go to sell them are offered, they built trust with me.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: But like we know this guy, we watch this YouTube.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: We watch this.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: His 10 pieces of content.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: We've done all these things.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: So now I feel like I can trust him more than someone that just got a fat chain in a Lambo or IG.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: So the key is connecting with people in
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_03]: What would you say in the difference, right?
- 37:48[SPEAKER_03]: So like in in your time, you know, as as a, you know, you know, digital content creator, you know, you have online business, you've coach people.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_03]: What's the difference between somebody who makes 10,000 a month and 100,000 a month?
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: Spend, it depends, but what I say is, for the most part, if you have a foundation, it's spending the money, because a lot of times, everyone wants to make the money, but nobody wants to spend the money going back to data.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know your data, you don't have a business.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: If you were making $10,000 a month organically, right now with no overhead, most of you would say, well, I'm good because I'm keeping all 10.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: But it's like, yeah, you're making 10, but you could be making 100 if you just spent 10.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: Right, let's say you spend $1,000 to make the $10,000.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: You have a 10X ROI.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: So based on that theory, if I put $10,000 in and I get another 10X now making 100,000 when we tell people were doing, you know, $2,300,000 a month, they think is so foreign.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: But it's because if you don't know your numbers, it seems fun.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: I used to look at people like that.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: Got it.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: Be kind.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: Ain't no way, right?
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: But then you understand.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's literally just spending the money.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: So those things we talk about today, podcasts, Facebook ads, shout out pages.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: in other people, other people's communities, our pay for those opportunities all day because every time I spend it, it brings me back more.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not even more for today, but it's more for a long term.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: So some people are into just like revenue, like the revenue right now, which is great.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: But you have to also think like, do I wanna dominate my industry?
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: If so, you need to be on all these platforms talking, letting people know what you're doing, how you can help them.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: Why do you believe Ben Toyship is the ultimate shortcut to well?
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because you don't know what you don't know.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: Most of us are already trying the very best with who we are and what we know.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: We've already maxed that out.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: I know I actually bought a time when I do my presentation.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: I say, is anyone here like, are you just not working hard or are you going hard?
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: And when was I going to work in my ass?
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm working hard.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you are already working hard, then the execution is not the problem.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is the information gap.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: So you're here.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: You want to get here the gap, right?
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: Between you and your dream life is the information.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: You've already tried you too.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: They don't give you clarity, certain tea or redirection.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: When you get a coach, you get to take all of my experiences, all of the elves I took, all of the winds I've gotten, and we take, we turn decades in the days because you no longer have to guess.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: I like to compare it to bro, very simple.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: Most people they live in in the same city, they're whole lives, right?
- 40:12[SPEAKER_00]: They go to publics, down the street, right, left, right.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: They still put on a GPS.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: They still, why?
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: Because they don't want to hit traffic, they don't want to see the car, they hit a car, they don't want to avoid it, they want to get their fish in.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: But some reason we as people think we're about to just figure out and walk our way with a blindfold to hit our six and seven figures.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: It just doesn't make sense So I tell you I don't tell people they can't get to it I just tell you it's gonna take you a lot longer.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love that I love that What was one lesson?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: You know that your mentor or a mentor have taught you that's made millions for you
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: Biggest one is how you do anything is how you do most things right in the reason why is because I believe that we all are products of our environment so if you look at your good habits your bad habit from your parents you probably we all know you like them I get them from my mom like it from my pops the same thing goes from your coast so the reason I go so hard when I coast is because I know people are looking at me from when they're going to set up their program so if I have slack.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: and they're gonna have slack.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I come from, I believe, Guru, I came from coaches who they went all in, they over-deliver, right?
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: If you over-deliver, you'll be overpaid.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: So the biggest thing is like, don't ever show up half-hazzling.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you're gonna do it, go all in or don't do it at all.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because people feel that energy.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_00]: You got to imagine if this is your first impression of me, and I feel like because it was free and I came in and spoke, I just give half-game.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: The only thing you know is that I'm half.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know that I'm him, right?
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't care if it's free, I don't care if it's paid, I don't care if I got paid a dollar or $10,000.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm going to do it, I'm going to go all in because I know that there's some people that that's their first impression of me.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_03]: I love that, I love that.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_03]: What is something that you think that people
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: needs to unlearn before they can make some room running.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's good.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, that's real good.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: A lot.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: But for the sake of one or two things, I'll say that you have to see a poor mindset words about the cost of everything.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: A wealthy mindset words about the value of everything.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: What I mean is the first time I say something caused this, the person with the power of the mindset, they say, well, how much does it cost?
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: But if I'm talking to Ashcast, I'm talking to myself, I'm saying, well, shoot, what is the return, right?
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if you ship your mindset to switch those, you will change your whole life because you will worry about the right things, because what I tell people is no matter what the cost is of information, it cost you much more life to not figure out the problem.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it cost me my first coat, she was $10,000.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't pay it there.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: A year later, I watched people who took the off-ride and taken now, making $67 figures.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: It cost me six figures, not to pay the $10,000.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: But I was so fixated on costs instead of returns.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the biggest thing I'd say you got to unlearn.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think you got to really, really go all in on yourself.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: And you understand that the best bet is in yourself.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: You never lose when you invest in information and culture.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I was really, really good because I think that I think that that's.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm having it.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_03]: I'm having it on the subject issue, but it's like people are so worried about what they're investing.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_03]: And not the, again, like 10 results in the turn of it, especially when, and you said this earlier, like the return.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to get over and over again if you can do it.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my God.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_03]: And so if, you know, like the most I paid for a mental was 150,000, right?
- 43:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm still, you know, I'm still making money off of that investment, right?
- 43:29[SPEAKER_03]: Because it isn't like I have to keep learning the same thing over and over and over again.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of times, it's not even, it's one or two things that you need.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: You just need one or two things and it turned you up.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: People think it'd be 50 things.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like now, one gem.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's one or two things.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's
- 43:53[SPEAKER_03]: What was that feeling like for you, right?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_03]: Where?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_03]: because I love the hidden stories, right?
- 43:59[SPEAKER_03]: Cause you, cause you're like, man, I was in the night life, you know, business with slow, then all of a sudden, you know what I'm saying?
- 44:07[SPEAKER_03]: I got my life shifted, right?
- 44:09[SPEAKER_03]: I was either go stay with my mother and ask my mother for money.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_03]: When you hit that first M, what was that feeling like?
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, I might have cried, but I'm real.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yo, this is crazy.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, cause it was just, it felt so, like it happened so fast.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the overall picture, it wasn't fast at all, right?
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: I've been an entrepreneur for 10 years, but it's just like when we say, you know, the work, the only thing that works is work, like, you know, people would think about like, it's just working for them, like, that time when I hit the M, but the work is really when it's working on you.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: And you don't realize that we never realize things.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: And so we get to the end, but the truth is the enjoyable part when you think about it's the process, right?
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: The process.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: So when I hit that for his Embre, we felt like,
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: If I was a real man, it was like, wow, like, this is what those long nights was for, this is what, like, saying, no, say, avoiding all the people who was negative, all the naysayers, you know, other people who doubted you, even the enemy, I said, no, a lot of times the enemy's the enemy, like, you fight the biggest battle to be yourself.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_03]: One thousand percent.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Even like, am I crazy, like, dude, is this really going to work?
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: Am I really going to be able to make a million dollars?
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: So just being able to go through those things and be persistent and getting going back to faith.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: I was just grateful.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: Most importantly, I was grateful, you know, God, for allowing me to put me through the things because what I learned in life is like, every season that you go through, wears down right after that comes, you're winning season.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're not going through or down seasons, most people feel like, oh, I don't go through Hells thing.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: You should be worth it.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're all going through the Hells, the W's right around the corner, so that was the feeling for me, bro, it was just grateful, but just gratitude.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_03]: Did you notice, I'm sure there was a mindset shift.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_03]: Like they had to be a shift that said, you know what?
- 45:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like I'm a five-figure entrepreneur and now I'm a seven-figure.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like they had to be a shift in order to like, like in order to get to that space.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_03]: What was that shift?
- 46:07[SPEAKER_03]: What was that breaking point?
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: Was that thing that said, all right, now we're gonna do it.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: For me, bro, it was honestly for me, it was the online marketing, like it was the education, you know, I'll tell you why I come from most of the, I don't know, like I was a former division of athlete.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I always had discipline, I always were, and I'm also five, six, they're never going to fall forward.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I always was the first one in the locker room, the last lead, putting extra reps, do overtime, start it off a walk on, turn started.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I always had a crazy work ethic, that was never an issue since young, right?
- 46:36[SPEAKER_00]: But,
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter because we learn it's not about hard work.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's about smart work, right?
- 46:40[SPEAKER_00]: So all the effort in the world around the way everyone's saying, yeah, you got to hustle, keep working jobs, the job, keep grinding, bro.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: Keep grinding.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm looking at all these people making money, they're not working harder, they're working smarter.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: So they key for me to think that made that switch, which was just like, oh, shoot.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is all you got to do, double down, and then one thing about me is I have obsessive personality.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: So when I get into something like, I can't sleep.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_00]: So when I
- 47:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, all right, how do I get to 2,000?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: How do I get to 5,000 out of it?
- 47:07[SPEAKER_00]: So the difference at that point is just work because you realize like your past 80% of people in any industry just by like showing up in consistency.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then the final 20 is like those are the dogs like that you got to be strategic.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: But 80% of your past just by just out working because most people just don't do enough work.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I love it.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_00]: Um, actually your brain is influenced to impact what is what is influenced me to you as a business tool man To influence this is the people who's to are set to start to influence and impact people is to change their lives for the greater good in all aspects and home facets So it's really about like when someone comes to me, you know, we get people who are at zero
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: How can we get them to max out their capabilities?
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's real influence to me.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: Influences to them are followers.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: Influences about even dollars.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: Influences about transformation.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: So to be able to see someone come at zero and leave at five and change their whole life.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it's about.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: And if you put people first, you will never have a money issue with your own.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: You'll be overpaid.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_03]: How does someone turn their influence into income?
- 48:04[SPEAKER_03]: Because, and this is a real thing.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I see people who have influence.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: But kid, but a broke.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a lot of them.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_03]: A lot.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: The reason being is because they don't have directions.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're counting off, you know, they're online to be popular instead of be paid.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: You have to have an infrastructure, which is why again, I know it sounds cliche, but you got to get a coach, right?
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because I got weed know people, they don't even got 10,000 followers.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: They're making a lot of money.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: Because they have an actual business model.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: So the problem is a lot of influencers.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: they don't have an actual product or a service that's number one issue and the second thing is they build their audience based off of just being popular and free so now when they acts a person to exchange money for value, their audience isn't accustomed to that so they haven't built that rapport with them so you know I tell you is get a mentor, find someone who can teach you how to sell and who how can to be able to actual infrastructure and do
- 49:02[SPEAKER_03]: What is one habit you would say someone needs to adopt today if they wanted to scale their life in business in the next 12 months?
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: A habit that they need to adopt.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: To scale, you said?
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: What I would say is, let go.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason, you know, this is a good ones because a lot of us, our businesses are our baby, like when we want to let go.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you have to delegate, you have to outsource, right?
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, there's a lot of parts of my business.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like,
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's easy, like my ops men, they're my ops team, they make it so easy.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: I literally just have to focus on, you know, high wage activities.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people that are on MWA's minimum wage activities, they're doing everything in the business, they're checking the DMs, they're checking the emails, they're responding to the phone, they're doing the coaching, they're doing the fulfillment.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: And now you can't work on the business, you're working in the business, right?
- 49:50[SPEAKER_00]: So for me hiring those people, closures team sales manager, operations manager, BAs, they allow you to just focus on growing the overall thing.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_03]: If, if you could give 18 year old, Derby has been as, uh, advice, right?
- 50:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like, everything that you've learned, everything you know so far, uh, what would you tell them?
- 50:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling him get a mentor ASAP specifically.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: Someone who's coming back from me, looking to go because, and for me, school, I wouldn't take away going to college.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_00]: The only reason why is because,
- 50:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I like to say football was the reason I'm able to do the things we're doing now, just because I developed self for such a belief in self over.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: Came so much, so I wouldn't take that away from my specifics, but what I would do is right after I graduate it.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: I would have found a mentor.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: I would have met and I would have just followed the blueprint.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_03]: Walk me through like somebody wants to work with you, right?
- 50:44[SPEAKER_03]: So they have you know, the different levels, right?
- 50:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like take me through what is, you know, like what are the levels of your like mentorship that you currently have?
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: So we have for people who are starting, what we do is we have our six-figure sequence funding mentorship.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: We get to learn how to get access to $100 to $250,000 in front of you.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: You also learn how to run a funding company.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to turn around, take this skills that they not teach you and be able to charge a commission and make good money doing so, be able to do that.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: We go a lot of business found for the mentors, marketing, how to sell, how to set up your infrastructure properly so that you can actually have a system that makes you money without having to work too, too hard.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: Second level we have is most times when people come from near and a lot of our a lot of our clients that climb with us They're from ascension so a lot of people pay us once they pay us two at three times Right second level is people who now say okay, do I want to do what you do now?
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: When I get into coaching I want to start helping people I want to monetize my gift We show them how to set up their irresistible offer.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: We show them how to structure their webinars We show them how to get into marketing and then we have our inner circle.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's that qualifying offer That's where people who are you making $20,000 a month?
- 51:52[SPEAKER_00]: And they're looking to now get to their first either six-figure month or six-figure day.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_00]: We produce seven six-figure days in the last four months.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_00]: right in multi-day events, you know, challenges, you got the legendary challenge, shout out to y'all.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: So doing the multi-day events in scaling webinars as well, speaking, selling from stage, virtual stage, and physical stage.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: And those are three layers.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_00]: But what I tell anybody watching is, if you want to spend three days with me, I do a, I got a free, I absolutely free, three-day, mastermind, well, I'm just breaking out all this, breaking out funding in debt, credit in debt, digital products and services in debt, running a funding company in debt.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_00]: So three days is completely free.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and honestly, I think.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I, you know, like I'll credit this new space where I know it, you know, I haven't done a challenge in a while, but when we were doing challenges, um, you know, I would mentor was teaching us that listen man, may, may, may, may come pay, you know, because when people pay their pay attention, which is true, right, which is true, but I do love this new model of you know what, if you truly believe in what you do let them come in for free.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely, let them come in for free because
- 53:01[SPEAKER_03]: The truth of the matter is that and I see that's that's one of the things that you know me and my brother Jay White been talking about is just you know we we we we do a show called crime pays and we help Formally incarcerated been a women and we were like you I like this model for them right like let's do a free mentorship a fine mentorship where we are you know bringing people who are just as impacting and teaching them how to
- 53:31[SPEAKER_03]: uh... teach people but if it you know we have the structure of different let layers of levels with people to work with you but you're given them a front you say i believe it what i do so much and i'm giving that you'll i'll give it to you you just come in and if if if it's a fit if it's an alignment then you get to choose that with which point you want to work one hundred percent yeah hundred percent um... if if you were if you were to leave entrepreneurs one final piece of game that would change their financial life forever what would that be
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: One piece of advice that would change your life, is, um, let's go, uh, hyper, hyper intention, right?
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: And hyper intention is just to cut off all distractions, and I think we're in a time where everyone is so distracted by everything around them, or whether it's formal, like you hearing other people will make it doing this, oh, I heard that's working now, this is working now.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_00]: everything works right but you have to work you have to optimize and so that's the biggest thing and in hyper intention meeting cutting off people as well people who are in alignment with where you're trying to go people who are in alignment with the goals that you have in mind and if you just focus on you to the focus on you you are always going to be good cut off the distractions yeah I love it I love it
- 54:43[SPEAKER_03]: Any any any question about it and ask anything that you want to leave with it with the folks Hey, this is this is good man.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
