- 0:33I Hate Talking: So we are not going to do a full length episode this particular day because it is December 25th, 2025, and most Americans, I think, are celebrating Christmas and so we'll give you some time back to enjoy with your friends and family.
- 0:52I Hate Talking: Yeah.
- 0:53I Hate Talking: Or if you're not celebrating, or if you're in the unfortunate situation that you don't have friends and family nearby, you can always listen to a previous episode of our podcast and we can keep you company.
- 1:06I Hate Talking: Yeah, or you, maybe you're working.
- 1:08I Hate Talking: And a lot of nurses and doctors and first responders.
- 1:14I Hate Talking: And Subway, I saw Subway is open on Christmas Day.
- 1:19I Hate Talking: So if you're working at Subway, thank you, I guess.
- 1:22I Hate Talking: Yeah, but I don't think those people are gonna really be listening to a podcast during their work hours, at least hopefully not.
- 1:27I Hate Talking: Hopefully, but Subway would be.
- 1:29I Hate Talking: Hopefully no one's coming on Christmas Day.
- 1:32I Hate Talking: I guess if they burn their Christmas ham, they have to go to Subway.
- 1:36I Hate Talking: I also heard, uh, movie theaters are really popular and busy on Christmas Day.
- 1:41I Hate Talking: Yeah, I think I have been to the movie theater once on Christmas Day in my life and it is busy.
- 1:46I Hate Talking: Yeah, so maybe on your commute to the movie theater and to work, you're listening.
- 1:52I Hate Talking: Uh, either way, we hope that you have a wonderful Christmas.
- 1:55I Hate Talking: Indeed, or maybe you won't enjoy the movie and you can just listen to the podcast on your, your buds while other people are watching the movie.
- 2:02I Hate Talking: But we do have a particular episode recommendation, and this goes back to our previous episode when I thought I was going crazy in terms of me remembering that we did a Color of the Year 2024 episode, but Apparently it does not exist.
- 2:19I Hate Talking: OK, so the episode that I was thinking of was our November 21st, 2024 episode, which was titled Under the Auspices of I Hate Talking, a new podcast appears, and that is actually the episode that generated our synesthesia episode that came much later.
- 2:40I Hate Talking: On January 23rd, 2025, but during that under the auspices episode, we did discuss colors, and one of the things that we discussed in that episode was people's favorite color and that the most common favorite color is blues and teals.
- 3:00I Hate Talking: And I believe during our research, and I don't think we actually quote this in the episode, but during our research we did use Pantone and some other resources.
- 3:09I Hate Talking: To verify that blue is the most common color.
- 3:13I Hate Talking: Oh, OK.
- 3:14I Hate Talking: Well, there you go then.
- 3:15I Hate Talking: So you're almost right.
- 3:17I Hate Talking: No, I wouldn't even categorize it as almost that, that is like still 80% incorrect.
- 3:22I Hate Talking: We did not do a Color of the Year episode for 2024, but we did consult Pantone for particular resources during the discussion of colors.
- 3:33I Hate Talking: So at least I'm not completely crazy, but I would still categorize that as an error.
- 3:38I Hate Talking: Just a little crazy.
- 3:39I Hate Talking: Indeed So most likely we will not have a full episode next time for New Year's.
- 3:46I Hate Talking: Wow, 2026.
- 3:48I Hate Talking: So, well, that is 2026, that, that mini episode I guess will drop and then we plan to get back to full episodes on January 8th, 2026.
