- 0:00Speaker 1: No. The Mark Simone Show. 9 till noon weekdays. More Mark. 710WOR. Hey,
- 0:09Speaker 1: it's Tuesday. It's a beautiful day. A lot going on.
- 0:13Speaker 1: 60 minutes. Boy, you can't trust them at all anymore.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You know, the problem is, a lot of people still
- 0:19Speaker 1: read the New York Times believing it's a newspaper. And
- 0:25Speaker 1: some people still watch 60 Minutes thinking it's a news program.
- 0:28Speaker 1: They don't, you know, when you say fake news, they
- 0:30Speaker 1: don't really fully comprehend what it is. You know, it
- 0:34Speaker 1: doesn't really sink in that you're being lied to. There's
- 0:37Speaker 1: so many fake stories, totally fake, fraudulent stories. The New
- 0:42Speaker 1: York Times has pushed. The Washington Post has pushed. And
- 0:47Speaker 1: 60 Minutes has been caught doctoring video. The Kamala Harris interview,
- 0:51Speaker 1: she wasn't able to, answer a question. So they doctored
- 0:54Speaker 1: up the video, took an answer from a different question,
- 0:56Speaker 1: spliced it in. So, I mean, just out and out fraud.
- 1:01Speaker 1: They just did a piece on the Trump administration. Now
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'm going to go after CBS again, 60 minutes, just
- 1:07Speaker 1: did a piece on this guy that was deported. Ice
- 1:11Speaker 1: came and deported the guy and they did a piece.
- 1:15Speaker 1: It was so sympathetic to, you know, he was a husband.
- 1:19Speaker 1: He was a father. And they just took him and
- 1:22Speaker 1: deported him. And it was a touching piece. He's the
- 1:27Speaker 1: father of two. He's married. Well, the Trump administration, furious,
- 1:33Speaker 1: they forgot to mention this guy committed fraud in his
- 1:36Speaker 1: immigration application. He lied. They found all kinds of fraud
- 1:40Speaker 1: in his immigration forms. And he lied about everything. So
- 1:45Speaker 1: they forgot to mention that in the piece. I mean,
- 1:48Speaker 1: you could argue, well, you still don't have to, but
- 1:50Speaker 1: the point is they forgot to mention it. Now, let's
- 1:52Speaker 1: be honest. They didn't forget to mention it. They left
- 1:54Speaker 1: it out. They deliberately left it out of the story.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You know, this story has been going around for a
- 2:00Speaker 1: week or two about Elon Musk, how he was trying
- 2:04Speaker 1: to get people killed. He was on Russia's side. He
- 2:07Speaker 1: was helping Putin. Ukraine depends on Starlink to guide their drones. And,
- 2:15Speaker 1: you know, the killer drones, the military drones. all of
- 2:20Speaker 1: a sudden, Musk throttled them down, shut down their speed
- 2:24Speaker 1: on the Starlink. Well, it turns out, and remember at
- 2:27Speaker 1: one point they said President Trump ordered it, Musk ordered it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: They kept going on with these fake stories. Turns out,
- 2:33Speaker 1: it was throttled down. Starlink did shut down, slow down
- 2:38Speaker 1: deliberately Ukraine's account. But now that all the details have
- 2:42Speaker 1: come out, it turns out when you're on Starlink, You
- 2:47Speaker 1: are not allowed to use it for military purposes. You
- 2:51Speaker 1: can use it on drones, but you can't use it
- 2:53Speaker 1: to send drones 150 miles an hour to attack somebody.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And it wasn't Musk ordering it to slow down. It's
- 3:02Speaker 1: built into the software. They have stuff in the software
- 3:06Speaker 1: that if they see anybody violating the terms, it automatically
- 3:10Speaker 1: slows their account down. And most sites have this. If
- 3:13Speaker 1: you do something you're not supposed to do on Facebook,
- 3:16Speaker 1: it'll throttle down your account immediately. Same thing on Twitter.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They all have this. It was just built into the software.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Once it got to be a big, huge story and
- 3:24Speaker 1: Musk was told and got involved, he got the engineers
- 3:28Speaker 1: to fix it, but it's automatic. Now, why can't you
- 3:33Speaker 1: use Starlink for military purposes, for attacks? Well, there's a
- 3:40Speaker 1: good reason for that. Now, what they have, they have
- 3:42Speaker 1: another thing called SpaceShield. That's the military version of Starlink.
- 3:47Speaker 1: If you're going to do military stuff, you know, trying
- 3:49Speaker 1: to bomb and kill, you got to use Space Shield.
- 3:52Speaker 1: The reason they won't allow it on Starlink, Starlink depends
- 3:59Speaker 1: on satellites. It's run by satellites in space. And Musk is,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and this is only logical, Musk has said if he
- 4:08Speaker 1: allows it to be used for military use, for instance,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Zelensky blowing up stuff in Moscow, then the next step
- 4:15Speaker 1: will be Russia will shoot down the Starlink satellites. And
- 4:20Speaker 1: he doesn't want that. He wants Starlink strictly peaceful, doesn't
- 4:23Speaker 1: want Russia or China blowing up his satellites. So that's
- 4:27Speaker 1: the reason. But Ukraine, I don't know why they did it.
- 4:30Speaker 1: They knew they had to use Space Shield, the military version.
- 4:33Speaker 1: But for some reason they tried it on Starlink, the
- 4:35Speaker 1: software just automatically, it's built into the software. If they
- 4:39Speaker 1: see anybody doing anything you're not supposed to do, it
- 4:41Speaker 1: slows down their account immediately. So That's all that happened. Now,
- 4:45Speaker 1: that part of the story naturally is not getting reported
- 4:48Speaker 1: by The New York Times, CBS, or any left-wing fake
- 4:52Speaker 1: news site. Anthropic has filed for the big IPO. Everybody
- 4:58Speaker 1: was waiting for this. They value Anthropic at $ 2 trillion. Actually,
- 5:07Speaker 1: they've posted a staggering loss in the first half of
- 5:10Speaker 1: the year, $ 80 billion, almost $ 81 billion in the first
- 5:13Speaker 1: half of the year. But that's all the big tech
- 5:16Speaker 1: companies in the first few years because they just keep
- 5:19Speaker 1: pumping it back into the company. So that could spook
- 5:22Speaker 1: Wall Street investors because they're all worried about an AI bubble.
- 5:26Speaker 1: But the revenue over the same period was $ 16 billion,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and that's up from $ 40 million two years ago. So
- 5:34Speaker 1: that's a pretty good jump there. So this is going
- 5:37Speaker 1: to be a big IPO. It's supposed to happen probably
- 5:40Speaker 1: in a month or so. uh french president macron promises
- 5:45Speaker 1: strong measures to stop the protests he promised on monday
- 5:49Speaker 1: that his government you see they're very slow over there
- 5:52Speaker 1: if this was uh the u.s and donald trump and
- 5:55Speaker 1: those protests started the response would be about an hour
- 5:59Speaker 1: later but it's two weeks into it and macron has
- 6:01Speaker 1: announced not strong measures no he's announced that they're going
- 6:05Speaker 1: to announce a package uh later in the week later
- 6:09Speaker 1: in the week they'll announce a package his uh Prime
- 6:11Speaker 1: Minister Sébastien Leconneau is set to hold a news conference
- 6:17Speaker 1: after meeting with unions of high school students. Now, there
- 6:19Speaker 1: were some students originally in these protests complaining about something.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I don't know. The temperature wasn't right in the classroom.
- 6:25Speaker 1: They didn't like the lunch. Something. I don't know. So
- 6:29Speaker 1: they're going to meet with these student unions, work that out,
- 6:31Speaker 1: get them out of the mix. The Interior has deployed
- 6:35Speaker 1: 70,000 police for this weekend coming up. So far, 1,500
- 6:41Speaker 1: people arrested nationwide, but they got to stop this. They
- 6:44Speaker 1: really got to stop this. President Trump really going after Obama.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Obama going after Trump. By the way, let me repeat this.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I keep repeating this throughout the show. Anytime Obama goes
- 6:58Speaker 1: on the stump in campaigns, the person always loses. That's
- 7:02Speaker 1: his track record. Remember in 2024, he went out on
- 7:05Speaker 1: the campaign trail the last few weeks to stop Trump. Again,
- 7:08Speaker 1: he always fails on the campaign trail. Obama's only good
- 7:12Speaker 1: campaigning for himself. His coattails stink. They always have. But
- 7:17Speaker 1: Obama attacked him like crazy on everything, every issue. Trump
- 7:22Speaker 1: now going after Obama.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Guys like Obama, they would pass the front door. They'd
- 7:27Speaker 2: see the broken.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he's talking about Obama, who was in the White
- 7:32Speaker 1: House for eight years and let the whole building just decay.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Stuff was crumbling. Stuff was broken. And Obama, for eight years,
- 7:40Speaker 1: never did anything about it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Guys like Obama, they would pass the front door. They'd
- 7:45Speaker 2: see the broken masonry. They'd see the broken, the beautiful
- 7:50Speaker 2: pilasters that were all broken. For years they were broken.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And he wouldn't notice because he doesn't notice that. He
- 7:57Speaker 2: doesn't notice dirt and filth. that hadn't been cleaned, where
- 8:00Speaker 2: the walls hadn't been cleaned for years. He doesn't notice
- 8:04Speaker 2: areas that haven't been painted. So it's very easy for
- 8:07Speaker 2: me to do. I do it very, very simply because
- 8:10Speaker 2: it's my nature. I'm a very clean person.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well, he's also a professional builder. A professional builder
- 8:17Speaker 1: got that eye. He sees everything wrong. Obama, not a
- 8:20Speaker 1: professional builder. Never even actually had a job doing anything
- 8:22Speaker 1: except politics. Biden, you can't blame because the guy's Doesn't
- 8:27Speaker 1: know where the hell he is. He's just bumping into walls.
- 8:29Speaker 1: You can't expect him to notice anything.
- 8:31Speaker 2: You have to remember, the White House, we have to
- 8:33Speaker 2: explain that to Obama because he doesn't understand it because
- 8:36Speaker 2: he's not a smart guy. Let me tell you, in
- 8:38Speaker 2: my opinion, he's not smart at all because the way
- 8:41Speaker 2: he ran the country, only a stupid person would run
- 8:44Speaker 2: the country like that. But we have to explain to
- 8:46Speaker 2: Obama that the White House is a symbol of America
- 8:50Speaker 2: and it has to be maintained properly.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah. See, one good thing about Trump, he's got this
- 8:56Speaker 1: thing about... He'll go after you for all your faults.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But even if you don't have a fault, he'll just
- 9:03Speaker 1: make it sound like it is. You know, there's a
- 9:04Speaker 1: lot wrong with Obama. You could criticize Obama for a
- 9:07Speaker 1: lot of things. I don't think anybody could make this
- 9:09Speaker 1: case that he's stupid. Obviously, he's a brilliant guy. You
- 9:13Speaker 1: can't say he's stupid. But Trump will do it anyway.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It's just the way he is. He's unbelievable at that.
- 9:18Speaker 1: He's great at that. You know, like.
- 9:23Speaker 1: George Clooney, he'll just say. He's an ugly guy. I
- 9:25Speaker 1: think everybody agrees. He's ugly. He's really ugly. He'll just
- 9:28Speaker 1: make the case so forcefully and with such confidence. You
- 9:32Speaker 1: start believing the guy.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Guys like Obama don't see it. You don't see dirt.
- 9:36Speaker 2: He doesn't see filth. He doesn't see broken ornaments on
- 9:40Speaker 2: a building. The White House to President Obama is a
- 9:44Speaker 2: symbol of America. It has to be clean. The columns
- 9:49Speaker 2: can't be broken. The bricks can't be falling off from
- 9:54Speaker 2: under the plaster. And for you to say it's a
- 9:58Speaker 2: Cheesecake Factory, that's shows why you were a lousy president.
- 10:03Speaker 1: He's not going to live down that cheesecake factory stuff
- 10:06Speaker 1: also you know you're in the midwest where people love
- 10:09Speaker 1: the cheesecake factory obama talks about it like it's a
- 10:12Speaker 1: cheap little nothing it's a very special place for people
- 10:15Speaker 1: in the midwest the cheesecake factory and it's great I mean,
- 10:20Speaker 1: name a restaurant that has a better menu than the
- 10:22Speaker 1: Cheesecake Factory. Anytime the menu's in a book, like a
- 10:27Speaker 1: leather-bound book, and it's 47 pages, that's pretty impressive. In fact,
- 10:32Speaker 1: I don't know why you don't even have to look
- 10:34Speaker 1: at the menu. They have everything. Just say anything. Whatever
- 10:37Speaker 1: you want, they got it on that menu. It is
- 10:40Speaker 1: an amazing place. The food is delicious. Everything. thing you
- 10:46Speaker 1: order is 4,700 calories. But aside from that, it's a
- 10:50Speaker 1: great place. You know what people are getting crazier about?
- 10:54Speaker 1: The public is starting to rebel against this. These red
- 10:59Speaker 1: light cameras are everywhere. Red light cameras are driving people crazy.
- 11:04Speaker 1: 600 drivers now starting a protest. First of all, you
- 11:10Speaker 1: go through the red light where they got these speed cameras.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You get a ticket in the mail and And you
- 11:18Speaker 1: got to pay it. There's nothing you can do. Now,
- 11:20Speaker 1: what's driving everybody crazy is there's two cars and 400
- 11:24Speaker 1: bikes on the same street. The bikes are breaking the
- 11:27Speaker 1: speed limit. The bikes always go through red lights. The
- 11:30Speaker 1: bikes go through stop signs. The bikes are up on
- 11:33Speaker 1: the sidewalk. The bikes are going the wrong way down
- 11:36Speaker 1: the street. Start ticketing them. It's easy to do. You
- 11:40Speaker 1: require every bike to get a license. The license must
- 11:45Speaker 1: be on the bike. The license could have a chip
- 11:48Speaker 1: in it that the cameras can read. First of all,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you make a fortune selling the bike licenses. And then
- 11:54Speaker 1: every year they got to renew it. And so you
- 11:58Speaker 1: make money that way. It's a lot of revenue. And
- 12:00Speaker 1: the bikes are breaking the law every second. The revenue
- 12:04Speaker 1: will come pouring in off these bikes. Now, after a while,
- 12:08Speaker 1: if they keep getting tickets, they'll stop. They'll make sure
- 12:11Speaker 1: to stop at the stop sign. They'll make sure to
- 12:13Speaker 1: go the speed limit. But that's good. That's good. So
- 12:17Speaker 1: either way you win, start ticketing bikes. You've got to
- 12:21Speaker 1: do it. I don't know how you're going to get
- 12:23Speaker 1: that done because politicians hate cars, love bikes, but start
- 12:29Speaker 1: ticketing them. E-bikes, e-scooters, all that crap and those stupid pedicabs.
- 12:35Speaker 1: You know, they got rid of the horse and carriages.
- 12:37Speaker 1: There's more problems with those pedicabs, with the illegal alien
- 12:41Speaker 1: gang member peddling furiously with two frightened tourists in the back.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Get rid of those things. Oh, good news. You know,
- 12:48Speaker 1: they say there's no good news. Well, here's some good news.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Former FBI director James Comey facing new criminal charges. This
- 12:57Speaker 1: he should have been charged with a long time ago.
- 12:59Speaker 1: This story had been around for a while. You remember
- 13:02Speaker 1: he had a guy, I think he was a professor
- 13:04Speaker 1: at Columbia, a professor of journalism or something like that,
- 13:08Speaker 1: very close to Comey. And Comey, if he needed stuff
- 13:11Speaker 1: leaked to the New York Times, would show it to
- 13:14Speaker 1: his friend and his friend would leak it. That way
- 13:16Speaker 1: Comey never had contact with the New York Times. Comey
- 13:19Speaker 1: could say, I did not talk to anybody in the
- 13:22Speaker 1: New York Times. I didn't leak it to the New
- 13:24Speaker 1: York Times. But the friend did. There was always that
- 13:27Speaker 1: story floating around. I forget the guy's name. They even
- 13:30Speaker 1: named the guy. Well, he's now being charged with leaking
- 13:34Speaker 1: classified information, transmitting national defense information, but doing it through
- 13:42Speaker 1: a third party There's specific cases of this. There was
- 13:46Speaker 1: an October 2016 New York Times article that revealed stuff
- 13:52Speaker 1: about our surveillance and spam filters. The New York Times
- 13:56Speaker 1: got a hold of it. They believe Comey leaked that
- 13:58Speaker 1: through his friend. They've indicted him. I don't think they
- 14:02Speaker 1: would have gone ahead with this unless they had the evidence.
- 14:04Speaker 1: They've probably gotten cell phone records and GPS stuff and
- 14:08Speaker 1: seen these guys together. And then the record of the
- 14:11Speaker 1: other guy's cell phone transmitting to the New York Times. Comey,
- 14:16Speaker 1: more legal trouble, real legal trouble for him. Hey, New
- 14:21Speaker 1: York City district attorneys, we're talking about this last hour,
- 14:24Speaker 1: Alvin Bragg, the one in the Bronx. These district attorneys
- 14:28Speaker 1: are so pro-criminal. They don't put the criminals in jail.
- 14:31Speaker 1: They let them right back on the streets. They're anti-ICE.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Apparently now, there's certain things, if you got charged with
- 14:38Speaker 1: a serious felonies case, committing awful crimes in the street,
- 14:43Speaker 1: the ICE agents can deport you over it. So apparently,
- 14:46Speaker 1: these district attorneys are deliberately downgrading the charges to make
- 14:53Speaker 1: sure they're non-deportable offenses. This is the House Judiciary Committee
- 14:59Speaker 1: that's done a report. They said New York City's district
- 15:01Speaker 1: attorneys are doing this deliberately, covering up for these illegals,
- 15:07Speaker 1: deliberately downgrading the charges, even though they just committed a
- 15:10Speaker 1: serious crime, downgrading it so they won't get deported. This
- 15:14Speaker 1: is unbelievable. Now, the governor, if you get the right governor,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and it's Bruce Blakeman, can remove these district attorneys and
- 15:20Speaker 1: put real ones in, real crime fighters, replace these district attorneys.
- 15:25Speaker 1: That would change everything. So make sure you get out
- 15:28Speaker 1: and vote. Do it this week. Do the early voting.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Get out and vote. It's all about turnout. Hey, we'll
- 15:33Speaker 1: take some calls next. 800- 321-0710 is the number. Give
- 15:36Speaker 1: us a call. 800-321-0710.
