Transcript
- 0:39What's up everybody? It's your boy Kefi.
- 0:42I am back once again. Oh man, it has been a week.
- 0:47Everybody, it has been a week, but I'm back with another weekly
- 0:50ritual. Rocky metal News Live show
- 0:53everywhere, all over the web, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube,
- 0:56Instagram. I'm hanging out on TikTok
- 0:59getting ready for the holiday weekend.
- 1:01Hobo Wizard Band is here. What's up?
- 1:03Hobo Wizard Band. Big fan.
- 1:07Am I convicted? Melon.
- 1:09Liquid Death. We're going to do the damn
- 1:13thing. We're going to talk all about
- 1:15the drama. So much drama in the LBC this
- 1:19week in rock and metal. Rubber Band Man is back.
- 1:24What's up, What's up, what's up? We're going to do this quick and
- 1:27dirty, kind of an abridged version of the show for an
- 1:31abridged week of work and everything else.
- 1:33And Punish is here. This is your show too.
- 1:37Feel free to drop comments. If this is your first time here,
- 1:40please like and subscribe. We are a small business and we
- 1:44get by on some advertising money, but mostly ads and
- 1:49generosity. So feel free to drop a tip.
- 1:51I'll drop the tip menu in a little bit.
- 1:54And yeah, what a crazy week it has been.
- 1:57We're going to talk about all the things, the big Cradle Of
- 2:01Filth news that just dropped March enemy vitriol, Jesus
- 2:06cheese and rice. OMG, what a week it has been.
- 2:10Just could not have a quiet week going into the holiday.
- 2:12Had to be insanity. If this was a typical Wednesday,
- 2:19I might have jumped on and just did a live stream about the
- 2:22crazy cradle of filled stuff. But just, you know, this is the
- 2:26schedule I'm keeping this week. As I've been telling you all,
- 2:30last live stream of the week. Let's do this.
- 2:32And again, thanks for being here.
- 2:34For those watching, we always start with the announcements and
- 2:38there's no easy way around. This has been a hard week for me
- 2:41for a variety of reasons. We're also giving away tickets
- 2:46to see, God Forbid in Brooklyn. But I lost a good friend this
- 2:49week, Jerry John Nickel. We used to shoot concerts
- 2:52together back 10 years ago when I lived in Boston.
- 2:55I just a wonderful guy, young guy.
- 2:57I don't have all the details of his passing.
- 3:01Loved around the world, one of the most talented concert
- 3:04photographers. If you definitely have been
- 3:05following metal and metal core and deathcore the last 1520
- 3:10years or seen some of his photography from around the
- 3:14world, you should consider yourself fortunate.
- 3:16And if you ever met him in person, you would love this guy.
- 3:19I'm just so sad that he's gone. He was a a big community guy in
- 3:26the ski and snowboard community. He used to teach a Big Bear and
- 3:31it's just brutal. It's just brutal.
- 3:33We just keep losing people. Some other losses this week,
- 3:39Viola Ford Fletcher, you may not know that name.
- 3:42She was the oldest and last surviving member of the Tulsa
- 3:46Race Massacre. If you don't know what that is,
- 3:48when Black Wall Street was bombed by racists in the 1920s,
- 3:54not that long ago, 100 years ago.
- 3:56Most people are not taught this in school.
- 3:58She was the oldest survivor of that massacre.
- 4:01She she just passed away this week at 111.
- 4:05Her grandson broke the news. She's got a book out there.
- 4:08I really need to go pick up. And I would like to read
- 4:11because, you know, we're doing the repeat history if we don't
- 4:14remember it. Oh, also, also Jimmy Cliff.
- 4:19I know arguably I know people you know.
- 4:22Bob Marley and The Wailers and a few others are synonymous with
- 4:25reggae, but Jimmy Cliff was really the first Jamaican artist
- 4:29to promote reggae music around the world.
- 4:32He influenced both Bob Marley as well as all the ska 2 tone and
- 4:37ska punk of both Britain in the 70s and punk in Europe and
- 4:44America to follow. Incredible guy.
- 4:49The Harder They Come is the movie about him.
- 4:51You should go see it, it still holds up.
- 4:53I saw him a few years back, just a tough one.
- 4:57He was 81. I didn't really run through the
- 5:01birthdays this week, but I would have celebrated a birthday this
- 5:05week. It was Mark Lanigan.
- 5:07You probably know him from Scream, Screaming Trees, Mad
- 5:10Season and Queens of the Stone Age.
- 5:11But Mark has had a humongous impact on me and and arguably
- 5:17say I would not have my if not for Mark, I might not have my
- 5:22current love of my life, Melissa.
- 5:25So lucky for me, we bonded over Mark and yeah, it sucked.
- 5:31I was really hoping at the Hall of Fame the Soundgarden guys
- 5:34would have shouted out Screaming Trees.
- 5:35They were close at one point. I think it's the Connor guys
- 5:39that the Connor brothers that people did not like.
- 5:41But you know, I still love the band.
- 5:51Anyway, yeah, so tips, if you guys are feeling tipsy, we are
- 5:55grateful. Here's our tip menu.
- 6:00The best way to tip us if you want to jump on YouTube and give
- 6:03us a super thanks or a super like.
- 6:04We are launching memberships finally in December.
- 6:07It's just taking me some time to get through it all.
- 6:12You can you can give us a tip here on the good old cash app
- 6:17Venmo, PayPal, Kofi, whatever you want.
- 6:21We are grateful and there's, there's all your tips.
- 6:27Hey cool, Facebook cooperated for a change and did not fuck
- 6:30with me. All right, Anyway, here's our
- 6:34cash app if you feel like dropping a tip time for some
- 6:38features. Features here at Ghost Cult this
- 6:40week include once again our God forbid ticket giveaway.
- 6:43Link in the bio link in the description link in the link
- 6:45tree. Black Friday.
- 6:47I know commercialism kind of sucks, but you know, let's face
- 6:51it, if we you're a music fan, chances are you're a collector
- 6:55of things, items, stuff. And honestly, I know it's been a
- 7:02tough year, so surely I'm not trying to hawk anything.
- 7:06But if you're buying gifts for people, if you celebrate the
- 7:10holidays. Hey, Gabe is here.
- 7:12Hi, Gabe. Auntie Mosby's.
- 7:13What up, Sir? Just talking about our
- 7:16announcements. You just started the show a few
- 7:18minutes ago. It's Black Friday this Friday.
- 7:21You know, your every band, every label, every store related to
- 7:25music or metal music or rock music culture has a sale.
- 7:28I've organized everything for you.
- 7:29It's one of the pin posts at our website now.
- 7:32You can check it out. Some of those things are
- 7:35affiliate links that kick back to us.
- 7:36That would be cool. But mostly in general, we're
- 7:39just trying to support bands and small businesses.
- 7:42And if you find it all gross and if you're vegan and you don't
- 7:44eat Turkey and you don't care about Thanksgiving because it's
- 7:47linked to terrible American history, I respect that's cool.
- 7:51Take a few days and reflect and take care of yourself and think
- 7:54about the year. That's what I like to do.
- 7:56I still, I like the idea of gratitude at the end of the year
- 8:00and whether it's this holiday or not, I just like thinking about
- 8:03what I have versus what I don't have.
- 8:05I'm trying to find the joy every day.
- 8:07Some of this is me finding the joy right here with all the all.
- 8:12That's what I do. That's what I respect.
- 8:14Yo man, Zoltar. Man loves Mark amusement.
- 8:17PDX, What's up? What's up?
- 8:19Zoltar? Great to see you again.
- 8:20It's been a minute. Thanks for everybody who's here
- 8:23and watching. I know it's a weird time.
- 8:25We'll get back to the regular schedule next week.
- 8:27Also, this Friday is Record store day.
- 8:30Black Friday. I did a huge breakdown and an
- 8:33unboxing of video of albums that I was sent early.
- 8:38Some were pretty cool, some are fun.
- 8:40Whether you like these bands or not, it's really cool to work
- 8:43with labels like Craft Recordings, who does a great job
- 8:46on reissues and stuff. Vicious 006 is here, or 006.
- 8:52So yeah, we did a Black Friday breakdown, I unboxed some vinyl,
- 8:55and then I did what basically amounts to my pull list in order
- 8:58of priority for me and perhaps of interest to you.
- 9:02So you should check that out. Rock, metal and punk and a few
- 9:06other things like soundtracks and stuff.
- 9:09Also. Also, if you caught our live
- 9:11streams, every Monday the last eight weeks we have been hanging
- 9:14out and talking about the Mojave Experience Festival, coming this
- 9:19March for the first time ever to Joshua Tree, March 20th and
- 9:2421st. I'm really excited.
- 9:27I've been really happy to be part of this.
- 9:28I'm going to this festival. I'm going to have a baller.
- 9:32Also, new interviews on the channel this week include my
- 9:36interview with Billy Grazia, Day of Biohazard Brooklyn and the
- 9:39House. This is the guy I've been
- 9:41following since I'm 15 years old.
- 9:43He's just a few years older than me.
- 9:45I love Biohazard. New album Divided We Fall is out
- 9:47now. It is a banger.
- 9:49One of the best albums of the year in terms of hardcore,
- 9:51thrash, whatever crossover and just a really great interview
- 9:56where he talked about recording with Matt Hyde.
- 9:58Matt Hyde is done like Parkway Drive and Slayer records.
- 10:01So and you know, all the guys in bio has to know how to make a
- 10:04record and produce records for other people.
- 10:06So it's interesting to me that they went to another producer
- 10:12and and so much more to talk about that one.
- 10:14Also today, perhaps a lesser known artist, but one you should
- 10:18know about. Grid Failure is the multi genre
- 10:22avant-garde extreme metal project of our friend Dave
- 10:26Brenner. It has a who's who of guests on
- 10:29it. We had a hell of a good time
- 10:31talking about this. We talked about maybe making
- 10:33some music someday when I get back to New York.
- 10:37Kurt Paul Shotgun. I didn't know Biohazard was
- 10:39still putting out stuff. They have Kurt.
- 10:41They have reunited with their classic lineup Evan Seinfeld,
- 10:45Danny Schuler, Bobby the Skull Hamble and Billy Bio Billy
- 10:50Grazia Day. They are back.
- 10:51The new album is out now, Divided We Fall.
- 10:54It's out on Black to Black Records, which is a new imprint
- 10:58under the Frontiers SRL label from Europe.
- 11:01Megadet's new album is coming out on that label.
- 11:03They put out some brand new bands also, but they started off
- 11:06with Biohazard and Mega. Pretty killer.
- 11:08Great album. I'm fucking totally here for it.
- 11:12We're do we we're going to talk about our album of the year
- 11:14stuff soon. It goes called an absolutely
- 11:16Biohazard's new record is factoring into my list, but Grid
- 11:19failure. Really cool experimental extreme
- 11:22metal. Check that out on the channel as
- 11:25well. Great interview with Dave.
- 11:26We also nerded out about final and you can see a whole stack of
- 11:29records behind me that I'm trying to file on my desk.
- 11:32Cogs and fix up. Other recent interviews Ghost
- 11:35Cult has had includes Soul Fly, Testament, Paradise Lost, and so
- 11:40many more and many more to come. We've got an interview next week
- 11:42with Trivium. Yo, Trivium's new EP is out.
- 11:45We'll talk about that next week, but it's super stoked to get
- 11:48that love back from Trivium and also Trivium, a former album of
- 11:53the year winner for Ghost Cult a couple of years ago.
- 11:55Also, because I don't have enough to do I Am the Coach, the
- 11:58Glacial Musical podcast, beer, metal and swearing vinyl nerding
- 12:02about hockey and other things. We just finished the series on
- 12:05Alice In Chains. We did a whole vinyl unboxing of
- 12:07the new David Gilmour from Pink Floyd live box set.
- 12:11Now we're starting a new series on Queens, right?
- 12:13Go check us out. Ghost Cult has like 6200
- 12:17followers on YouTube glacially musical as I conference.
- 12:21So if you want to do me a solid in addition to following ghost
- 12:24cult, please give us a follow over there.
- 12:28Much obliged. Much obliged.
- 12:32That sound exciting, right? I'm telling you I'm I'm trying
- 12:35man. We're trying to do all the
- 12:37things. It's kind of exasperating and
- 12:39exhausting. All right, that's all the
- 12:43features and the announcements. Now it's time for the news
- 12:46rundown. Let's talk about it.
- 12:50We usually start with metal festivals and that's where we're
- 12:52going to begin. Again.
- 12:55I'm hoping metal meeting is coming up soon.
- 12:57Here, I'll begin. This will take my face off for a
- 12:59minute on everything but TikTok. Einhoven metal meeting hypocrisy
- 13:04Trypticon Gorgorov terrorizer with a special set possessed
- 13:09Batushka. Whichever Batushka.
- 13:11This is the official 1 Tribulation Sinister and many
- 13:16more. We are definitely covering this
- 13:17in Eindhoven in the Netherlands where it goes cold started.
- 13:22Hey Kurt, I'm glad it popped up in your feeds man.
- 13:25And feel free to give us a follow.
- 13:27We'll follow you back Captures Wolf is here.
- 13:30You know, we try to go and support everybody who supports
- 13:33us. Other things going on in the
- 13:35festivals. We cover Bloodstock open air
- 13:37every year. This year was headlined by
- 13:39Machine Head, Trivium and Gojira.
- 13:41They're doing for the first time I think ever, a winter festival
- 13:45like A1 Dayer in England. We are also covering this Candle
- 13:50mask Venom Ink, Hell Ripper, one of the best bands of this year
- 13:53with a new album out Raised by Owls, Torture, Demon King,
- 13:56Kraken, Red Method, Thum, Hellbearer and a meet and greet
- 14:01Q&A. So basically mid afternoon tea
- 14:05time for you Brits and Europeans.
- 14:08And then yeah, Candle mass and Venomink and Hell Ripper one O
- 14:12123 at the end of the festival. And we're going to bring you
- 14:15coverage of that. I'm super stoked for our guy
- 14:17Bill Maudsley in the UK for coming out to cover this.
- 14:21And we're going to be covering more shows in Europe next year,
- 14:23more concerts, more festivals. We're growing our team there and
- 14:26I'm really excited about it. Also announced this week, Vans
- 14:30Warped Tour just ended a couple of weeks ago our last weekend.
- 14:35Now we've got the full announcement for 2026,
- 14:37Washington, Long Beach and Orlando again, but now adding
- 14:41Montreal, QC and Mexico City. I'm I was pretty excited that
- 14:47that Warp Tour came back. I had gone to a few Warp tours
- 14:50and I was the old guy at Warp Tour like 10-15 years ago.
- 14:54It's not quite the same as it used to be, but I thought they
- 14:57did a really nice job promoting it, putting it out, doing all
- 15:00the things. Perhaps next year we will get to
- 15:02cover one. This year the dates did not line
- 15:04up. We could have covered.
- 15:06We were trying to cover at least one of them and the dates didn't
- 15:09line up. So we'll see next year where I'm
- 15:11at, probably not Mexico City, probably not Quebec, but maybe
- 15:16one of the main ones. Also coming up soon, Decibels
- 15:20Metal and Beer Fest Denver. And this happens every year,
- 15:23twice a year. Sometimes they do LA.
- 15:25It's not last year they did. They did LA like 2 years ago.
- 15:30Acid Bath once again on the Triumphant comeback tour.
- 15:34Blood Incantation, I hate God. Chatpile, Dead guy, The Red
- 15:38Chord playing all of clients. Holy cow.
- 15:41Primitive man. Panopticon, One of my favorite
- 15:43black metal bands of all time. Conan.
- 15:46This is this is just incredible. If I didn't have other shit
- 15:48going on I might go out to this, but I can't.
- 15:51Also announced for next summer and we may be covering this Art
- 15:55Tangent festival for the first time ever.
- 15:57Will have Primus as a headliner as well as Chelsea Wolf and Cult
- 16:01of Luna and Julie Christmas doing Mariner 10 year
- 16:05anniversary set. I saw one of the rare Mariner
- 16:08sets 10 years ago and I saw there one show in New York.
- 16:13It was phenomenal. I have tried to interview Julie
- 16:15Christmas, she's typically very fresh shy, but this arctangent
- 16:19festival looks fucking unbelievable.
- 16:21Igor Napalm Death, see Purdivator High On Fire, Agent
- 16:25Fresco, Conjurer, obsessed, Oath breaker coming back and
- 16:28reunited. One of the final shows ever from
- 16:31Small Bard amplifier Joe Quail goes called favorite psychonaut.
- 16:36Great new album by them. So many more darker steerling
- 16:40clamp. How so many great bands?
- 16:44Warped Tour in Jersey. Yeah.
- 16:45I mean, that would make sense. I think, you know, they were
- 16:47testing the waters this year with the first three.
- 16:49Ronnie Talk is here. Bleak.
- 16:52His music is here. Sermon of Flies is here.
- 16:54Good to see you again, Flintlock Alex.
- 16:59Oath Breakers back, dude, we saw them way back in the day in New
- 17:04York City, and I got to interview Caro like on in like
- 17:09the West Village just hanging or East Village hanging out with
- 17:11her on the street. Just person on the street.
- 17:14Interview with Caro. She's incredible.
- 17:16You know she does a lot of stuff with Amanra, a lot of backing
- 17:20vocals basically on their albums.
- 17:22So I'm really excited. I hope this means I'll break her
- 17:24new album. New headline tour.
- 17:26America Be fucking Sick also announced for next spring and in
- 17:31May, NW Terror Fest 2026 at New Moe's and Barboza in Seattle.
- 17:38Kyleesa maybe? I'm finally going to get to see
- 17:41Kyleesa come back. Oransi Bazuzu in a rare US show.
- 17:46Pig Destroyer. This looks nuts.
- 17:48Oh my God. Dead guy.
- 17:50Also, Jesus, I need to go to this.
- 17:53I love Kylisa. Maybe a Kylisa series on the
- 17:57Glacial Musical podcast at some point.
- 17:59I know they're not that big, they're still kind of a cult
- 18:01band, but I would like to do it. OK, what else?
- 18:07Aftershock Festival is probably going to announce their lineup
- 18:09right after New Year's or their first headliners in December.
- 18:13Here's their early bird sales. Just because it's Black Friday,
- 18:15all these festivals are probably having early bird ticket sales,
- 18:19but here's your timeline for the early bird for Aftershock
- 18:23Capital Club presale, which is their VIPVIPVIP is Friday at 10
- 18:27AM Pacific attendee presale Friday at 12 noon Pacific,
- 18:31subscriber presale Monday, December 1st, 12 noon Pacific.
- 18:35And the public on sale officially is Tuesday, December
- 18:392nd. I hope to make my return to
- 18:41Aftershock next year. Diabelita Hernandez, welcome,
- 18:47welcome. Thanks for being here.
- 18:50What else? What else?
- 18:51What else? This is fun.
- 18:53I'm not into, you know, necessarily into EDM and
- 18:56electronic break music, but this looks really cool.
- 18:59Apocalypse, Zombieland Dance Music festival.
- 19:03Maybe some of you are into this. Selenium, Nero, Excision and
- 19:10many more. I thought like maybe, maybe
- 19:13Kings of the Rollers, which is an incredible name that's taking
- 19:16place coming soon, next weekend. Maybe you'll be into this, I
- 19:20don't know, maybe not. Ripple Music's 15th anniversary
- 19:24party, I am confirmed to be going.
- 19:26We'll be covering this. I hope to interview Todd from
- 19:30Ripple Music, the founder, very soon.
- 19:34One of my favorite bands of all time, Fireball Ministry is the
- 19:37headliner of this party with Zedd and Black Wharf.
- 19:40I am stoked. Not to mention I can walk home
- 19:43from the show. I can't wait.
- 19:46I can't wait. Also, I got scared about this
- 19:50Rod and Christ. This thing popped up from
- 19:51Maryland Death Fest, Rod and Christ 1989 to 1995.
- 19:54I was like, what? Oh, what's going on with Rod and
- 19:57Christ? They just played a bunch of
- 19:58anniversary shows. No, they're doing a special set
- 20:00at Maryland Death Fest next spring, next summer or whatever.
- 20:04Labor Day weekend, Memorial Day weekend.
- 20:07Sorry, Rod and Christ only songs from 89 to 95.
- 20:11OK. Please don't scare me like that,
- 20:13man. Nero is legendary as fuck.
- 20:15Cool. Good to know.
- 20:16Rod and Christ killer band. We did.
- 20:18We've reviewed them. We've covered them all over the
- 20:20world. And we covered their big Grease
- 20:23Greek shows later Greek black metal band.
- 20:25Super anti Christian, extremely blasphemous if you're into that
- 20:31shit. So, yeah, all right, Marilyn
- 20:36Defes looking forward to that. I might very well make it out to
- 20:38that Inferno festival. We told you those presale
- 20:41tickets are on sale now. Mayhem, the aside and slave, no
- 20:43man's child, the Covenant, Canon fever, Tormentor, Samayal, the
- 20:47hounds of hell. When one falls, another shall
- 20:50rise. If you know your cowboy movie
- 20:54and comic books, Primordial incantation and many more
- 20:59awesome Milwaukee Metal fest had moved to June.
- 21:02We told you that last week. Now we have the first headliner
- 21:05is acid bath and oh, I know you did them Gabe Acid bath and now
- 21:11Iron Reagan is coming back. I think this is you know,
- 21:13municipal waste may be going on a hiatus, but iron Reagan is
- 21:16making a comeback and they will appear at Milwaukee Metal fest.
- 21:21Bryce and Lamp wants to know Epiphone SG or Yamaha Pacifica.
- 21:25You know what Bryson, I've always been an SG shaped person
- 21:29and my dream guitar, if I was to get another guitar at some point
- 21:33would be a like a maroon SGIE, Godfather Iommi and Peppercinen
- 21:41of Corrosion, Conformity and down.
- 21:44So yeah, Pacifica, you know, good guitars though.
- 21:46No, I'm not mad at them. Again, thanks for watching these
- 21:51things. I appreciate everybody.
- 21:52Feel free to subscribe to us if you you're new here.
- 21:56All right, that's all the festival news.
- 21:58Now let's do the concerts once again.
- 22:00God forbid we are giving away tickets to this three shows to
- 22:03end the year for a massive comeback year for the band.
- 22:06God forbid darkest hour, bleeding through Nora and we are
- 22:10giving away tickets to the Brooklyn one.
- 22:12This flyer that looks like a Public Enemy album cover was
- 22:15done by my partner and co-owner Omar Cordy.
- 22:19What should be my first guitar. I'm waiting.
- 22:21I'm wanting a couple different styles SRV slash time back.
- 22:24Well, I'll tell you what Bryson I got to go with Tom Morello was
- 22:28like you know what get a beater to do your first guitar.
- 22:31Don't you know, yes, it's awesome to have a great piece of
- 22:34gear. And when I was a young little
- 22:36shaver and trying to learn to play music and going to music
- 22:39school and killing my hands playing bass I didn't have, I
- 22:44had some pretty good gear to start out with.
- 22:45But as I got better gear, I also feel like I made better music.
- 22:49I was more motivated, I was more into it.
- 22:51But honestly, you just need a basic ass beater guitar.
- 22:56Think about the style of music you want to make or play.
- 23:00If you're still figuring that out, cool.
- 23:02You know, certain types of body types and pick up alignments and
- 23:07types of guitars lend themselves to things like metal or Blues a
- 23:11little bit differently. If you're going to be doing a
- 23:13lot of soloing, maybe you want to, you know, think about how
- 23:16the guitar feels on your body. That's the number one thing.
- 23:18Go to like a Guitar Center and try out a bunch of guitars and
- 23:21wear them, you know, and see how they feel and see how they fit
- 23:25you. Is that cool?
- 23:26I hope that's cool. Pepe is here.
- 23:31HSS. Probably not a bad 1A bad one.
- 23:33Mark Badgers back. What's up, Mark?
- 23:35Good to see you again. All right.
- 23:37More, More. More.
- 23:39Hell yeah. And maybe we've got some other
- 23:42guitar players in the comments who can.
- 23:45Yeah. Kurt says if it don't feel
- 23:46right, it won't sound right. Thank you, Kurt.
- 23:48Call shotgun. I agree.
- 23:50Anybody else who has some guitar advice for our new friend here,
- 23:53Phil Bryson, feel free to tell him Amana Marth.
- 23:57This is probably going to be one of the first biggest killer
- 24:00tours of the new year. Amana Marth with special guests
- 24:03Orbit Culture and Soil Work. Fucking crazy that Soil Work is
- 24:07under Orbit Culture, but that tells you how big a band and how
- 24:10much of vibe Orbit Culture has going into 2026.
- 24:14This is a European Tour. I wouldn't be surprised that
- 24:17this tour also comes to the States.
- 24:19They have similar management and, you know, put the Swedes
- 24:24all together and see what they come up with.
- 24:25You know what I'm saying? Bella Kiss Music, thank you so
- 24:30much for following us. I appreciate it.
- 24:33That is a great tour, right? Like a we covered a Modern Marth
- 24:35and Pantera this year in the States.
- 24:37So I feel like a Modern Marth is a bigger band in Europe.
- 24:41I do feel like they kind of peaked a little bit and they,
- 24:44you know, would be interested to see when they finally get around
- 24:47to new music, what that looks like for them.
- 24:50But you know, let's see what they do, you know, we'll see
- 24:55what they do with new music. I I feel like they peaked a
- 24:58little while ago, but I have enjoyed the last few amount of
- 25:01Martha albums and I always enjoy them live.
- 25:03Orbit culture is great. Soil Work is one of my favorite
- 25:05bands ever. OK Sepultura continues to
- 25:10announce their farewell dates for 2026 and they have announced
- 25:14their final European date ever. I believe it's an exclusive show
- 25:17in Dublin. Sepultura, Biohazard,
- 25:20Malevolent, Sacred Reich by one of my favorites as well.
- 25:24And Crypto. What a great show that's going
- 25:27to be next summer. I know Sepultura is popping up
- 25:30on festivals and we will probably see some farewell US
- 25:33shows again as well. I know it's like Megan that
- 25:37said, oh, you know, we're, we might play three or five more
- 25:40years. That's not quite a farewell
- 25:42tour. But anyway, Guns and Roses, as I
- 25:46have been talking about and and anticipating for a long time,
- 25:49Guns and Roses has finally announced 2026 world tour dates.
- 25:54They had not booked the USA. Now they are.
- 25:57They're not coming to Northern California near me.
- 25:59They are playing the Rose Bowl for the first time in 20 years
- 26:03in LA, so that's a big deal. It was a big drone light display
- 26:07yesterday announcing the tour. They're playing all over Europe.
- 26:10No openers announced yet, but they did just do all of Europe
- 26:13with Public Enemy so that would be sick.
- 26:16Definitely Rubber band man says please.
- 26:18Definitely feel feel out guitars at Guitar Center and then buy a
- 26:21used one to play practice on. I agree.
- 26:23Save your duckets for the guitar.
- 26:25You really the Wayne's World? Oh, she must be mine.
- 26:28You know, pre pre CBS sale to Japan file down the nut and you
- 26:34know, like, yeah, wait, wait to get the the best, best guitar
- 26:39you can afford or money can buy and and learn on a beater.
- 26:42I am a firm believer in him and he man's beast.
- 26:46They need to write new songs. Axel can't scream.
- 26:48Well, you know what I understand he doesn't have the power and
- 26:51especially the back to the beginning game show that Axel
- 26:54doesn't have the strength he used to have.
- 26:55But I've seen G&R twice in the last 10 years and once in the
- 26:59last four years. And I will tell you he can hit
- 27:02all the notes. You know, maybe they set the bar
- 27:05a little too high. I'm my main thing is so Guns and
- 27:07Roses also supposed to drop 2 new songs next week.
- 27:11And I'm going to tell you that I'm curious if they're actually
- 27:15brand new songs that they've been talking about.
- 27:17They did. Or are these two more rework
- 27:20demos we've heard already? Because G&R, you know, like
- 27:23it's, I want new music now. So it'd be fun to see what they
- 27:26come up with, you know. But anyway, we'll talk more
- 27:29about that next weekend. Megadeth has announced more
- 27:32dates, Canada, South America, Europe, America again.
- 27:39Love this Photoshop by former Ghost call photographer Rich
- 27:41Price Goodwill. That's a good advice.
- 27:44Rubber band man shop at goodwill.com sometimes has great
- 27:47guitars from very little money and sometimes you will just get
- 27:50a lucky deal at a good local guitar shop and you want to shop
- 27:53small. As I said, I know we promoted
- 27:56Black Friday and Record Store Day Black Friday already, but
- 27:59like, please try to shop small if you can.
- 28:03Deftones have added even more dates in Europe to their tour.
- 28:06I'm pretty excited about this again.
- 28:08Looking forward to seeing Deftones again.
- 28:09Private music out now wherever you buy and stream music.
- 28:13I love this record. One of my top records of the
- 28:16year. Queen of the Unicorns is also
- 28:18here for Nina Garcia's here. Pani Love is here.
- 28:22I appreciate all of you. This has been a really fun show.
- 28:25I'm really glad you guys are killing it in the comments.
- 28:28Coroner has announced their first US tour in Forever
- 28:32Dissonance Over the West. Special guest haven.
- 28:34One of my favorite bands, Dean Vendetta is a great cheap guitar
- 28:38to start with. Solid body, smooth neck and good
- 28:41action. I'm still trying to interview
- 28:44Dean from Dean Guitars now that he's trying to get the copyright
- 28:48back for the dime bag model. But good good one Kurt.
- 28:52Great advice. White Pony is in my top maybe 10
- 28:58albums ever. I love that shit so much.
- 29:02I did Minerva at karaoke on Monday for the first time ever.
- 29:05That was a lot of fun. Again, here's Amanda Marth,
- 29:09Mötley Crüe, Mötley Crüe, Tesla and Extreme.
- 29:13I know Extreme just dropped a new music video that had been
- 29:15dying. They all went and played at,
- 29:18like, their high school baseball fields for a music video.
- 29:22And the one where Gary Sharon is is in Malden, Mass, right
- 29:26outside of Boston proper. It's like you know, within the
- 29:28city limits and April kind of rocks is here.
- 29:31What's up? And so yeah, extreme new music
- 29:34video out Tesla. I've been hearing things that
- 29:36Jeff Can't Sing that well anymore and we already know
- 29:39Mötley Crüe is all on tape. If you never seen Mötley Crüe
- 29:42and you want to sing home speed home with like 10,000 drunk ass
- 29:45people and Vince is terrible. Go If you have seen them, you
- 29:49don't need to see them ever again.
- 29:51I don't need to ever see them again.
- 29:53Ed what up brother? My brother from another mother,
- 29:57Ed Molina. White Pony is one of my favorite
- 29:59albums. I know, bro, we've had many.
- 30:01We had like a drunken rouse giving conversation about this.
- 30:05I think with you, me and Hiram were hitting the coquito too
- 30:08hard. Or I know I was because I can't,
- 30:10not with that shit. And I don't drink rum on the
- 30:14regular. I when I was drinking I was beer
- 30:16and whiskey primarily with some vodka in my younger days.
- 30:20But holy shit, I missed that Christmas coquito.
- 30:23Man, I need to get blast out West.
- 30:26It's hard, all right. Power Man 5012 Stones, that's
- 30:31the band who is the guy singer on Evanescence is Bring Me to
- 30:34Life and Makes my Blood Dance have booked AUS tour for this
- 30:38spring, kicking off in Fresno in late April and going all through
- 30:43the country and back again to Hollywood.
- 30:47Power Man 5000 still a thing in 2026.
- 30:49Wild. I saw them when they were kind
- 30:51of like a hippie rap group. Hippie rap rock group.
- 30:55Skull bashers back. What's up pal?
- 30:58Power Man 5000 Iron Maiden again continues to add some more dates
- 31:03to the Run For Your Life World Tour.
- 31:05We're getting a little bit of Anthrax on this tour and
- 31:07Megadeth as the main opener. Should be good for Megadeth to
- 31:10get the opening slot for Maiden Ice 9 Kills.
- 31:16We told you about this last week.
- 31:17They're doing their Silver Scream Con and yeah, when
- 31:20generations collide. Exactly.
- 31:22Silver Scream Con is coming to the UK next week as well as this
- 31:26brief Ice 9 Kills arena tour. This is their biggest tour ever
- 31:31with Creeper and the Devil Wears Prada.
- 31:33Art from Tara Fire will apparently be at the shows also.
- 31:36Kind of wild. We'll see if we can cover this.
- 31:39I don't know, kind of a stretch. Pistols featuring Frank Carter.
- 31:43You know, they were supposed to tour the US this week this year,
- 31:46and then Steve Jones broke his hand so they rebooked a handful
- 31:50of dates in Europe. 50 years of punk and play, all of Never Mind
- 31:54the Bollocks. Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glenn
- 31:56Matlock featuring my Helmie and yours, Frank Carter from Frank
- 32:00Carter in The Rattlesnakes, now on hiatus.
- 32:02We have one of their at last interviews with them.
- 32:04I love that band. But yeah, The Stranglers, The
- 32:06Undertones and Panic Shack opening.
- 32:09So like really, really pulling out the old school proto punk
- 32:13and punk rock bands from the UK. And I believe we'll get an
- 32:16announcement of U.S. tour dates at some point for next fall.
- 32:20Maybe they will play Riot Fest. That would be that's what they
- 32:23were supposed to do. We were talking about this last
- 32:26week. Health Fest and Overcome Fest,
- 32:27Present Path and Resistance, Moral Law, Fading Signal 1 by 1
- 32:31and End of a Rope for your punchy punchy hardcore.
- 32:33If you want to get donkey punched in the fucking throat in
- 32:36the pit, that's your show. St.
- 32:39Brutality tour with shatter realm and death before dishonor.
- 32:41Big old school Death before dishonor fan right here.
- 32:45Small Bard. I think these dates are just
- 32:48ending now, or just ended. They have a handful of dates
- 32:51next year and then they are wrapping it up.
- 32:53They do have a brand new song out.
- 32:55Midnight has announced the Satanic Royalty 15th Anniversary
- 32:59Latin America tour and this is going to take place next spring.
- 33:02Pretty exciting for Midnight. I just saw them.
- 33:04Great band. Machine Head has backtracked.
- 33:08They were doing these big package chores this last year
- 33:11and a half and they finally relented and started headlining
- 33:14festivals. And they have announced an
- 33:17evening with Machine Head coming back for Europe next year and
- 33:22probably America. So we'll see.
- 33:23Who the no opening band, just three hours of Machine Head.
- 33:26If you're a big Machine Head fan, this is for you.
- 33:29This is a killer Photoshop by our own.
- 33:32Thanks, my homie. Do we cover CK Fest in LA?
- 33:35We should. We haven't yet.
- 33:37Kurt, if you're from the LA area, DM me and let me know the
- 33:40details. I think we were talking about it
- 33:42last year. And then, you know, it's like
- 33:44kind of top. My team from LA is kind of
- 33:46spread out. There's only like actual LA area
- 33:48people, just a couple of them and then the rest of them are
- 33:50kind of regional. But we're trying to get more
- 33:53shows covered. We're trying once again with the
- 33:56more than halfway point of the show.
- 33:58Please tip us when possible, We appreciate it.
- 34:02Hey let me just talk about Fable beard company for a second.
- 34:04If you want to have a dope beard like me, you want to get hooked
- 34:08up from Fable Beard company. They also have a fem brand
- 34:11called Fable Beauty if that's what you're into or you know
- 34:14someone who deserves a gift. High quality, all natural
- 34:16products. I have very mixed blotchy skin.
- 34:20I'm very allergic to shit. Certain deodorants and soaps
- 34:23make me break out and give me a reaction.
- 34:26Fable Beard has been flawless and they have an unscented
- 34:30variety. The barkeep all their their
- 34:34sense and they have characters they're all based on like D&D
- 34:38characters. So the barkeep, the Bard, the
- 34:40wizard, the hunter, the trapper. It's insane.
- 34:45I love it so much and I'm all into it.
- 34:48QB bread dip this year, what's up?
- 34:51Also another affiliate partner of ours is Lamb Goat.
- 34:54When you see ads on our website, that's from the Lamb Goat media
- 34:56network. Lamb Goat has a bunch of other
- 34:58metal websites in their team. They're kind of the meaner ghost
- 35:00cult. I'm sure you know who they are.
- 35:02Don't go in the comments unless you're not of the faint of
- 35:05heart. And then also, if you're
- 35:06watching this anywhere but TikTok, you are watching this
- 35:09good old thing via Stream yard. If you want to stream like we
- 35:12do, check out the link in our description for a discount when
- 35:15you sign up. I'm on all the social things.
- 35:18We have the newsletter. I try to put out every Friday or
- 35:20Saturday. Do all the things, do all the
- 35:24things. We tried, man, we tried.
- 35:26All right, last licks. Let's get to the rest of the
- 35:28show. Now it's time for all the drama.
- 35:30Are you ready? Gird your loins.
- 35:32Kurt's from Texas, but I can definitely get you in touch with
- 35:34some people running it. Absolutely.
- 35:35Please do DM me. Kurt and I will check this when
- 35:38I'm off the air. Cradle Of Filth This shit just
- 35:48hit right before I went live. Five former members of Cradle Of
- 35:52Filth are suing Danny Filth and the band and their management,
- 35:57Oracle Management. I will preface this by saying I
- 36:00just found this out right before we went live.
- 36:03I managed to get this old photo of them.
- 36:05You can see Zoe and a shock in the photo in the middle and just
- 36:13what a fucking mess. First off, I have had nothing
- 36:16but good interactions with Danny.
- 36:18We've got a long time mutual aberration society with Danny
- 36:22and Oracle management, which is Dez Fafara and his wife
- 36:25Anastasia. I have nothing, but I've had
- 36:28nothing but respect for them and good relations and good contact
- 36:31with them. I've interviewed Danny, I've
- 36:33interviewed Dez, I've met Anastasia and Dez together
- 36:37talking about management stuff. Absolute, you know, never had a
- 36:40problem, but this is all there. You know, this is like basically
- 36:43the short version of it. Oh, thanks so much for the man,
- 36:46man, I appreciate you. The short version is the former
- 36:49members of the band, which also includes Lindsay Schoolcraft for
- 36:52Friend of Goes Cult. She has joined the lawsuit of
- 36:55these other former members claiming their own royalties,
- 36:59reporting royalties and dues not paid for their likeness on
- 37:05merch, merch designs and merch with their likenesses.
- 37:09And also Lindsay did graphic arts for the band for a long
- 37:12time and she didn't get paid for any of that.
- 37:15So I don't know who's right or wrong.
- 37:17I'm going to deep dive more into this.
- 37:19Maybe I'll come back from the holiday and do a live stream on
- 37:22it. But also, holy shit.
- 37:25And lawsuits usually take some time to source, you know, suss
- 37:28themselves out. So we'll see what happens.
- 37:30I'm sure as of right this moment, I haven't seen a
- 37:32response from Danny or Des. I'm sure we will.
- 37:38Concert crap is here. What's up?
- 37:39Concert crap. Great to see you.
- 37:40Speaking of drama, Arch enemy, we know that Elisa White glues
- 37:44quit arch enemy or was, you know, left arch enemy this
- 37:48weekend. Very strange timing with the
- 37:50announcement on Sunday of all things.
- 37:54And then immediately she dropped the song, which is OK, it's
- 37:58pretty good. She's apparently been working on
- 38:00a solo album. If you haven't been following
- 38:03Arch Enemy, Elisa took over 12 years ago from Angela Gousseau
- 38:07who took over Whatever many years ago from Johan Leva.
- 38:12I know that some old school Arch Enemy fans that love death metal
- 38:15one Johan to come back. He has already said he is not
- 38:17coming back. I highly doubt Angela would be
- 38:20coming back except for maybe a one off or a brief anniversary
- 38:25tour. I know Arch Enemy has a lot of
- 38:27anniversaries coming up of their biggest albums but also I just
- 38:30don't see Angela coming back. She's young enough, she's fit
- 38:33enough, I'm sure she could step right back in.
- 38:36Also, Michael and Chris Almont's father just passed away and they
- 38:41apparently took it very badly and and very hard.
- 38:44And so it's very possible they're going on a hiatus as a
- 38:48band anyway. And she just wanted to kind of
- 38:50get out there and get back to work.
- 38:52And she had this solo record she was working on.
- 38:55And no, probably no update about Arch Enemy for the time being in
- 39:01the near future. Just letting you know.
- 39:03But good luck to Elisa. Good luck to Arch Enemy.
- 39:06The part of ways 12 years. She certainly, I know that
- 39:09people didn't necessarily embrace her, but she certainly
- 39:11helped them get, you know, further along in their career.
- 39:14I think they also have like like Amanamar, they think Arch Enemy
- 39:17kind of peaked and I don't know what else they can do besides
- 39:21play the hits and make more of the same.
- 39:23But that's just me. They are one of the most
- 39:26talented bands ever in melodic death metal.
- 39:30Also also here's the drama for Vitriol.
- 39:33So here's here's the story. Here's the story.
- 39:39Vitriol has had a problem in the past where members long time Co
- 39:45founding members quit, personality issues, other
- 39:51things, life on the road, Vitriol young killer, death
- 39:55metal band. We've covered them, we've
- 39:57interviewed them. Their main person and front
- 40:00person, Kyle Rasmussen was on tour with new hired members of
- 40:05the band to complete pouring responsibilities.
- 40:08They have been to Europe this year.
- 40:09They had AUS tour not too long ago where we covered them and
- 40:15apparently they were all kind of partying a lot.
- 40:18This is their own account. They were partying a lot.
- 40:20A lot of nose candy, you know, Book of Sugar, Olivia marching
- 40:24powder. Do you want to build a snowman?
- 40:27All these things Deadpool references and there was a lot
- 40:31of verbal abuse and back and forth between the band and the
- 40:34hired guys and the singer. His partner who is not American
- 40:39who's in the US on a visa visiting and their dog were left
- 40:44at abandoned at a gas station in Vermont because he kept berating
- 40:48them and they just jetted and left him.
- 40:51Holy shit. Then he gave his side of the
- 40:53story where he's like you know, I've never talked about these
- 40:56issues before. I definitely am accountable for
- 40:59some of the problem. But he gave a 40 minute video
- 41:02going bit by bit about what happened.
- 41:05The remaining guys who quit vitriol are going to start a new
- 41:09band together which is hella interesting.
- 41:12I hope Kyle gets his stuff sorted.
- 41:14I know it's really hard right now to tour.
- 41:17Maria Cesar Romero is here, Necrotic Core Beast is here,
- 41:20Gomez 5O2, Hamza Khan, what a whole hot mess this has been.
- 41:25I don't know if you've been following this but holy shit
- 41:28this has been a fucking mess. But anyway, Vitriol tour
- 41:32canceled and Kyle Rasmussen has to get new members at the very
- 41:37least. Or, you know, maybe at this
- 41:39point, give up the band and start a new band with new people
- 41:42that you can relate to and work with.
- 41:45I am not always my best self. I am working on my emotional
- 41:48quotient and my levels of, you know, what's appropriate and
- 41:52what's not. As a manager and a business
- 41:54person and friend and a lover and a boyfriend and a future
- 41:58son-in-law and all these things that I want to be better.
- 42:00I want to be my best self. Getting abandoned in Vermont in
- 42:03the middle of winter sucks. I don't know if you've ever been
- 42:06to Vermont. It's creepy, scary.
- 42:08You think all the horror movies come from Maine and
- 42:10Massachusetts. Vermont terrifies me.
- 42:13It's too quiet. It's too fucking and eerie and
- 42:16quiet. Love it.
- 42:17Beautiful great people, Ben and Jerry's Dartmouth.
- 42:21But anyway, fuck. Just again.
- 42:24Some more further news after Soundgarden got into the Rock
- 42:26and Roll Hall of Fame. Soundgarden has mostly completed
- 42:30the final album with Chris Cornell.
- 42:32I do believe we're going to hear about this in the first half of
- 42:342026 for a rewra, for a release. Who knows again if they would
- 42:39reunite to perform some of that music live or do a tribute
- 42:43concert, another tribute concert.
- 42:45The last one was pretty great. I like the performances of the
- 42:50Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But again, kind of difficult to
- 42:53see if they would come back or not without Chris.
- 42:55Kind of hard again, Slipknot. The The conversation was
- 43:00happening last week that Slipknot sold their catalog for
- 43:04$120 million. And the chatter among the fans
- 43:07is who actually gets paid and who doesn't.
- 43:10And I engaged in some of that chatter and gave my opinion.
- 43:14Since 2003, Slipknot Inc has been owned by Clown Corey and
- 43:17Corey Brennan of 5B Management, and everybody else in the band
- 43:21has been a hired gun with a salary, a salaried employee of
- 43:24Slipknot Inc. Now, if you were in the main
- 43:27writing groups of those albums, the debut, the second album,
- 43:31which was really the Slipknot we got to know best, Iowa when Jim
- 43:37Root wrote a lot of stuff, Volume 3, you know, the 4th
- 43:41record, 5 the Grey chapter. If you wrote songs on those, you
- 43:45should theoretically get paid out for royalties, but I don't
- 43:49know if that gets you the rights to that album.
- 43:55So I don't know the rights to that big payout.
- 43:57I just don't know, you know, I just don't know.
- 44:00OK, moving along, moving along. Dogma continues.
- 44:06This is fucking the insanity of Dogma after the Australian tour
- 44:10was cancelled because the tour promoter wanted the original
- 44:13Dogma, not the replacement Dogma, the scab Dogma.
- 44:16And no offense to anybody that's in the band now, they are trying
- 44:20to figure out what their shit is going forward with that band
- 44:22looks like. But the fan community might be
- 44:27worse than the band situation. Like I gotta be honest.
- 44:30Like, OK, I understand that people have like built their.
- 44:32Don't build your own personality.
- 44:33Listen. Like, look, I'm a rock and metal
- 44:35person. I have had a whole career in
- 44:37music where I played in bands for 20 years.
- 44:39And I started a new band again this year on New Year's Day a
- 44:42year ago. And it's going kind of slow, but
- 44:45like, don't make your whole personality a band.
- 44:48If you love Ghosts, that's fucking awesome.
- 44:50But they're not everything. If you love thrash metal, be a
- 44:53thrash metal kid. But they're not the whole world,
- 44:56you know what I'm saying? So Dogma, like their fans are
- 44:59like, we want the band, you know, they're kicking out people
- 45:02in their groups and Reddits and public forums where people are
- 45:06just speaking out in support of whatever is going on with them.
- 45:08And people are like, no, you're not a fan, you're a hater.
- 45:11Well, you know, I'm a hater of a band that's supposed to be about
- 45:15female empowerment in these possessed zombie nuns, and
- 45:19they're being dominated and dictated to by some dude that
- 45:23doesn't make the music. So I want the band I was
- 45:26promised, not the band that I was shown, you know what I'm
- 45:29saying? Converted Drop the new song,
- 45:32announced a new album. Very excited and hyped for this
- 45:35again. Lamb of God, I love this.
- 45:37Photo by Wendy Brick, Photography from Rye Fest last
- 45:39year. New Lamb of God single and
- 45:43video. Parasocial Christ.
- 45:44This is their second new song in a row.
- 45:47Hopefully going to get an announcement of a new Lamb of
- 45:50God album. You know that they have a whole
- 45:52year of touring coming up so I would hope a new album is on the
- 45:55horizon. That would be great.
- 45:57Chloe Miller is here. Solemati R is here.
- 45:59What's up, what's up, what's up? Thanks for being here again.
- 46:02Feel free to like and subscribe if you're new here.
- 46:05We are trying to grow the this brand year over year.
- 46:08We are in year 13. I've been a music journalist for
- 46:1120. Oh my God, bro.
- 46:13So fire. We have another photo.
- 46:14It's like, actually the stage is on fire.
- 46:17It's pretty fucking red. All right.
- 46:21Anthrax has announced the completion of mixing of their
- 46:24new long-awaited album. I roll, I roll, I roll.
- 46:27I love Anthrax are one of my favorite bands.
- 46:29Look at the hat. They're the backpacks on my
- 46:31vest. I'm from the Bronx, NY where two
- 46:33of the guys are from Frankie and Charlie.
- 46:36They made a joke about Dave Grohl being their new singer.
- 46:39Let's not keep making singer jokes in 2025 when you already
- 46:43fucked it up with John Bush and Joey is back by the grace of
- 46:47Satan. Let's not fucking offend the
- 46:49guy, you know what I'm saying? But I'm excited for new Anthrax
- 46:52and I really want a headline tour.
- 46:53I know they're doing the Maiden dates, but I really need an
- 46:56Anthrax headline tour. Please and thanks.
- 46:59New Rob Zombie song is out now. People were a gag and aghast in
- 47:04our comments on social media about how bad the song is or how
- 47:08much Rob Zombie sucks. Bring back White Zombie, which
- 47:10he will never do under any circumstance.
- 47:13So you can already do the White Zombie material by himself.
- 47:15He doesn't want to work with anyone else.
- 47:18What's your opinion of the new White Zombie?
- 47:20Or are you not excited for new White Rob Zombie?
- 47:22You know, he does do very consistent albums.
- 47:24They're not very memorable, but he's great live.
- 47:27And you know, if you wait around long enough, you will hear
- 47:30Supercharger, Heaven and Thunderkiss 65 and more human
- 47:33than human. So again, Mark, rest in power.
- 47:39I would love some more Mark Lanigan love in the world.
- 47:42I think I will eventually do it on the record with Mark
- 47:45Lanigan's music with Don de Lamont of Talking to Talk with
- 47:49Don and Hernandez is here. Hilary Fikes has passed by.
- 47:52What up? What up?
- 47:55What else? What else?
- 47:56Liquid death. We homies are repping Liquid
- 47:58death. I hate to be a shill, but they
- 48:02just came out with energy drinks in these fun flavors.
- 48:06Maybe we'll try some on cameras. No, I know, Gabe, you love rock,
- 48:10but have you heard the new music?
- 48:12And did you have an opinion on it?
- 48:14You know, he doesn't have to try that hard to make the music he's
- 48:17happy making. You know, maybe he's happy
- 48:19making that stuff. I don't know, I don't know if
- 48:23you've been following the Nick Menza channel on YouTube, but
- 48:25Nick has been uploading fun videos.
- 48:29You know, Dave Ellison has been working with Nick's family to
- 48:32get that documentary out and you know, is that he uploaded a
- 48:41really cool. He got the stems from the
- 48:43original Wake Up Dead fracking on bass and Nick had done a drum
- 48:50cover with the bass. And obviously Nick has gone a
- 48:53long time. That's the way many years ago.
- 48:56But I'm really excited about this.
- 48:57I hope this is the year where we get this documentary finally,
- 49:00because I need it. I need it badly.
- 49:05All righty homie has got a Crave case from White Castle.
- 49:10I'm jealous, my Lord. One of the best doom metal bands
- 49:13in the world have completed the recording of their next album,
- 49:17and I expect an announcement about this.
- 49:19Hopefully in the first quarter of 26, you're going to start
- 49:22hearing about new albums, new albums, new albums.
- 49:24Speaking of new music Tool, a new interview with Justin
- 49:28Chancellor today has confirmed that Tool has been writing off
- 49:31and on for years for the next Tool released to follow Fiat
- 49:35Oculum, which is now 6 years old, 6 1/2 years old almost.
- 49:39But you know, Tool has been very busy keeping touring a lot more
- 49:43than they used to before the pandemic.
- 49:45So Tool, A Perfect Circle on tour next year, plus the Fur on
- 49:49tour with a new album next year. So hopefully some Tool.
- 49:52Again, shorter than longer wait to get new Tool music.
- 49:56I know I'm waiting anxiously for it.
- 50:01Kirk Hammett's guitar that he played at back at the beginning
- 50:05with Metallica just sold for a humongous amount of money for
- 50:08charity. There's a lot of charity
- 50:10auctions have been going on right now.
- 50:11I know they sold John Bonham's clothing from the song Remains
- 50:15the Same movie at auction for like $100,000 or something.
- 50:19His velvet suit and white frilly shirt.
- 50:21I love when stuff gets sold for charity.
- 50:24I'm into charity. Giving Tuesday coming up this
- 50:26Tuesday. OK, I tried this last week and
- 50:30it did not work. I'm going to try it again.
- 50:36We're going to talk about the new music coming out.
- 50:38This is kind of one of the last big weeks.
- 50:40We're going to do 2 more weeks in December of new music
- 50:43releases and then we're going to take a break until January,
- 50:46maybe even mid January, which is what we did last year.
- 50:49But here's the new stuff coming out and I'm going to just play a
- 50:53little bit of some of it. I've been trying every week to
- 50:57try to get this and let's see if I can get it to go Hold on a
- 51:00second. And I don't have it ready
- 51:02because I'm pulling out my other device.

- 51:20Let's hear some of it. Skip one second.
- 51:26Here we go. Let's hear a little bit of this
- 51:31while I look up the new music coming out this week.
- 51:35All right, if you guys can hear it out there, let me know
- 51:38because I have no idea. 13 albums coming out this week.
- 51:43Band, album, title, label, and maybe some genre stuff.

- 56:35I'm going to do an interview with him about it.
- 56:36Don did an interview with Mark about this book.
- 56:38Don can comment how much he likes the book.
- 56:41It's it's pretty, you know, it's a short kind of thing.
