Speaker 6: an edifice. It is to guide the workers in their course.

Speaker 6: The cornerstone was usually one of the largest, most solid,

Speaker 6: and most carefully constructed of anything in the edifice. Now,

Speaker 6: the Bible describes Jesus as the cornerstone that his church

Speaker 6: would be built upon. He is foundational, and once the

Speaker 6: cornerstone was set, it became the basis for determining every

Speaker 6: measurement in the remaining construction. Everything was to be aligned

Speaker 6: to it. As the cornerstone of the building of the church,

Speaker 6: Jesus is our standard of measure and alignment. In the

Speaker 6: the Messiah is referred to as the cornerstone, such as
