- 3:23Speaker 1: Acts chapter twenty five. We're starting a whole new chapter today,
- 3:29Speaker 1: So grab your bibles. You know, pass in your highlighters,

- 3:57Speaker 1: and to reach as far as we can. We ask
- 4:02Speaker 1: Holy Spirit that you will take over this podcast, that
- 4:06Speaker 1: you will give us revelation and understanding. We pray for
- 4:10Speaker 1: open hearts and minds, Oh God, to receive the truth today,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and we thank you in the name of Jesus. Hey man,
- 4:21Speaker 1: all right, y'all, so hopefully you had enough time to
- 4:25Speaker 1: grab your bibles and turn to Acts twenty one. We
- 4:28Speaker 1: are gonna start off in verse one. I mean Acts
- 4:33Speaker 1: twenty five, Verse one. Hey man, let me get my
- 4:37Speaker 1: brain working here, okay. So I want to give a
- 4:41Speaker 1: little background. Paul has been in prison for two years now.
- 4:51Speaker 1: He went before Felix. He ministered to Felix concerning judgment,
- 4:59Speaker 1: righteousness and self control, and Phoenix was convicted by the
- 5:06Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. As a matter of fact, he was trembling
- 5:10Speaker 1: in fear and he held off on the conviction. He
- 5:13Speaker 1: said for a more convenient time he would deal with this.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But according to scripture, I don't read a chapter and
- 5:26Speaker 1: asked where he came back, where that convenient time ever
- 5:30Speaker 1: came up. So it's important to know that when God
- 5:36Speaker 1: is calling, you respond immediately. Don't push away the conviction
- 5:42Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit, because we never know if we
- 5:45Speaker 1: have another chance. For some of us, this is our
- 5:49Speaker 1: last and final opportunity to get it right with the Lord. Amen.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So we need to develop a yes. We need to
- 5:58Speaker 1: say yes to the Holy Spirit. You need to say
- 6:01Speaker 1: yes to Jesus and the Father. Amen, hallelujah. And so
- 6:08Speaker 1: two years later Felix was replaced and he wanted to
- 6:18Speaker 1: do the Jews a favor. He was more interested in
- 6:22Speaker 1: politics than righteousness, and so he left Paul bound for
- 6:26Speaker 1: two years. And so now comes another leader, Festus, who's
- 6:33Speaker 1: going to take over this case. And that's where we
- 6:37Speaker 1: are in the Book of Acts, chapter twenty five, So
- 6:40Speaker 1: verse one, we're looking at new leadership. And it says, now,
- 6:45Speaker 1: when Festus had come to the province, after three days,
- 6:51Speaker 1: he went up from cesarea to Jerusalem. Now let's stop
- 6:56Speaker 1: right there. Real quick Festus is the new governor and
- 7:08Speaker 1: immediately he begins to handle political matters. And he was
- 7:16Speaker 1: quick to move to Jerusalem because he desired to connect
- 7:21Speaker 1: with the Jewish leaders over there, to build relationships with
- 7:27Speaker 1: the Jewish leaders. Now, how many of us have had
- 7:34Speaker 1: new managers and new supervisors coming to your place of
- 7:40Speaker 1: employment or business or whatever could be ministry, and it
- 7:46Speaker 1: seems like they pick up the same issues that the
- 7:51Speaker 1: other leaders passed on, right, because they communicate, they passed
- 7:57Speaker 1: down things. And sometimes I hope for a leader who
- 8:02Speaker 1: will not just lead off of rumors, off of what
- 8:07Speaker 1: other people say, that they will look into the matter
- 8:11Speaker 1: themselves and build their own relationship with their people that
- 8:17Speaker 1: their subordinates. Right. I believe if people have their own
- 8:24Speaker 1: connection one on one with the people they lead, they
- 8:28Speaker 1: will be less prone to listen to rumors and backbite
- 8:33Speaker 1: and gossip is what it truly is a man and
- 8:37Speaker 1: make righteous judgments and even if a person is struggling.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I've had one supervisor who said that his heart was
- 8:45Speaker 1: to turn things around, like work with that employee and
- 8:49Speaker 1: see how we can make improvements instead of just passing
- 8:57Speaker 1: on dysfunction to one leader to another and sadly, we're
- 9:05Speaker 1: gonna see that. He continues. He picks up where the
- 9:10Speaker 1: other leader left off and verse two. Then the high
- 9:13Speaker 1: priests and the chief men of the Jews informed him
- 9:19Speaker 1: against Paul. Now here's the backbite, the gossip. Here's all
- 9:24Speaker 1: the stuff coming right back up. Two years later, right,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and they petitioned him, asking a favor against him, that
- 9:35Speaker 1: he would summon him to Jerusalem while they'd lay in
- 9:40Speaker 1: ambush along the road to kill him. Now here's where
- 9:49Speaker 1: politics step in. They want him to do them a favor.
- 9:55Speaker 1: They do not wait, they step right in and they
- 9:58Speaker 1: ask for this favor. And it was against him. They
- 10:03Speaker 1: wanted him to come to Jerusalem. Right. Remember it was
- 10:09Speaker 1: God's plan for him to go to Rome. But this
- 10:12Speaker 1: was their desire, and Satan put that desire in their hearts.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Satan did not want the message to go to Rome. Now,
- 10:25Speaker 1: remember the forty men who made a vow or was
- 10:29Speaker 1: it forty plus men? They made a vow that they
- 10:32Speaker 1: would not eat or drink until they killed Paul. And
- 10:35Speaker 1: they did this same thing to the commander in a
- 10:41Speaker 1: couple of chapters earlier, where Paul's nephew heard the plot
- 10:47Speaker 1: and exposed it and God met them with was it
- 10:51Speaker 1: like four hundred and seventy soldiers against forty assassins, forty murderers.
- 10:58Speaker 1: They were out gunned, you can say, and look at
- 11:03Speaker 1: God's protection, and man how he protests. God does not
- 11:08Speaker 1: play about his children. Hallelujah. Now they want to lay
- 11:12Speaker 1: weighting ambush. Now we don't see anything here where anybody's
- 11:16Speaker 1: not gonna eat or drink. I think they learned their
- 11:19Speaker 1: lesson two years ago. And who knows if those brothers
- 11:23Speaker 1: they probably broke their vows most likely, or they starved
- 11:27Speaker 1: to death and they're like, uh uh, we're gonna do
- 11:31Speaker 1: the same plot, but we're not making that vow. That's
- 11:34Speaker 1: a wisdom first for all. But Fesus answered that Paul
- 11:40Speaker 1: should be kept in Cessareea and that he himself was
- 11:46Speaker 1: going there shortly. Now, look at Festus. He had no
- 11:51Speaker 1: idea about the plot. But his response right here protects Paul.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And this is God's intervention, this is God's protection over him.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Now he is this. Festus is not a believer at
- 12:10Speaker 1: this moment. But his response was like, no, we're gonna
- 12:17Speaker 1: keep him in cessarea. That protected Paul. He didn't know that.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Now it's interesting to me that he responded this way
- 12:27Speaker 1: because when we leave, as we keep reading in this chapter,
- 12:33Speaker 1: just a couple of verses later, it says that Festus
- 12:37Speaker 1: wanted to do the Jews a favor and asked Paul
- 12:40Speaker 1: if he wanted to go to Jerusalem. So it's like
- 12:44Speaker 1: people can be wishy washy, right, he was motivated by politics,
- 12:50Speaker 1: But right here he says no, and that was God's protection,
- 12:56Speaker 1: and that right there defeated their plot to ambush him.
- 13:03Speaker 1: So I believe it's amazing how many ways God will
- 13:07Speaker 1: protect his people. Verse five. Therefore, he said, let those
- 13:12Speaker 1: who have authority among you go down with me and
- 13:17Speaker 1: accuse this man, to see if there is any fault
- 13:21Speaker 1: in him. So here we go again. We did this
- 13:24Speaker 1: two years ago, and can you like just see how
- 13:31Speaker 1: persistent this persecution is. Two years later, they still want
- 13:36Speaker 1: to kill this man. They're still coming up with accusations. Now,
- 13:40Speaker 1: I don't see. In the last episode we talked about,
- 13:43Speaker 1: they hired a professional accuser and they still couldn't get
- 13:49Speaker 1: nothing to stick. The problem is they have to exaggerate
- 13:54Speaker 1: because they have no proof. Verse six. And when he
- 13:59Speaker 1: had remain among them more than ten days, he went
- 14:04Speaker 1: down to Cessarea, and the next day, sitting on the
- 14:09Speaker 1: judgment seat, he commanded Paul to be brought now here.
- 14:14Speaker 1: We are a brand new leader and he's got to
- 14:17Speaker 1: deal with this situation right away. When he had come
- 14:25Speaker 1: the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood about
- 14:30Speaker 1: and laid many serious complaints against Paul. So now they
- 14:36Speaker 1: have many serious complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm like, what in the world, what are y'all doing?
- 14:48Speaker 1: Y'all can't prove anything. See, when you stand on truth,
- 14:52Speaker 1: you don't have to exaggerate. Right, when you're standing on truth,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you don't have to exaggerate. These guys are coming up
- 15:02Speaker 1: with even more serious complaints that they cannot prove. I mean,
- 15:11Speaker 1: it's it's kind of sad because like, look at human nature,
- 15:17Speaker 1: look at how the carnal mind works. Right, when you're
- 15:24Speaker 1: not spiritually minded, when God doesn't touch your mind, when
- 15:28Speaker 1: God doesn't open up your eyes to understanding and wisdom
- 15:33Speaker 1: and righteousness and judgment, we are left in darkness and
- 15:38Speaker 1: we It's like, this doesn't make any sense. At what
- 15:41Speaker 1: point do you realize you're exaggerating something you've got no proof,
- 15:47Speaker 1: Like you don't have a leg to stand on. And
- 15:52Speaker 1: Paul in verse eight, while he answered for himself, neither
- 15:57Speaker 1: against the law of the Jews, nor against the Temple,
- 16:02Speaker 1: nor against Caesar, have I offended in anything at all?
- 16:08Speaker 1: Paul was innocent. He touches everything. He touches the religious
- 16:14Speaker 1: world with the Jews, against the Temple. Now he's talking
- 16:19Speaker 1: to political world with Caesar. He's like, I did not
- 16:25Speaker 1: do anything at all to anybody. Now, Paul didn't have
- 16:30Speaker 1: to exaggerate. Paul is just staying stating the truth, and
- 16:34Speaker 1: Paul is staying consistent. When you stand on truth, truth
- 16:39Speaker 1: is consistent. First, not Professus wanting to do the Jews
- 16:44Speaker 1: of favor. Now, I spoke this earlier a few minutes ago.
- 16:51Speaker 1: How he's gonna want to turn and give the Jews
- 16:56Speaker 1: a favor. This is the heart of politics, answered Paul,
- 17:02Speaker 1: and said, are you willing to go up to Jerusalem
- 17:06Speaker 1: and there be judged before me? Concerning these things? Now,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't think Festus knew the plot. Remember the Jews,
- 17:17Speaker 1: the Jewish leader suggested that this would be done, but
- 17:22Speaker 1: under the context of a favor. This is a political move.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Sometimes leader leaders under political pressure, they want to do
- 17:34Speaker 1: the popular things they want to do, the things that
- 17:38Speaker 1: wouldn't make the crowd like them temporarily or make themselves
- 17:44Speaker 1: look good in front of a certain group of people.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And the problem of this is that righteousness and judgment
- 17:52Speaker 1: goes out the window. Right, So be careful what leaders
- 17:59Speaker 1: we choose, what leaders we follow, or even who we
- 18:03Speaker 1: vote for in our government, because they all have this temptation.
- 18:08Speaker 1: They all have the pressure to make political decisions that
- 18:16Speaker 1: will totally go against the Bible and the Word of
- 18:19Speaker 1: God because they want to do favors for certain people groups.
- 18:25Speaker 1: And we see it right here in the scripture. And
- 18:29Speaker 1: he doesn't even know that. He's trying to set up
- 18:34Speaker 1: Paul for another ambush or a plot. And just look
- 18:40Speaker 1: at the enemy. I believe that the enemy was the
- 18:45Speaker 1: inspiration behind that thought. And that shows us in spiritual
- 18:51Speaker 1: warfare to guard our minds. The enemy is able to
- 18:55Speaker 1: plant filing, wicked thoughts in our hearts that would get
- 19:01Speaker 1: us to get out of the will of God. And
- 19:05Speaker 1: we can see this plan out right now. This whole
- 19:08Speaker 1: thing is spiritual. Going back to Jerusalem. Going back to Jerusalem,
- 19:14Speaker 1: there was a temptation here. Now look at how Paul responds.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So Paul said, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat where
- 19:24Speaker 1: I ought to be judged. Now Paul doesn't waiver. Now,
- 19:29Speaker 1: Remember Jesus spoke to Paul and told him that he
- 19:36Speaker 1: will go to Rome and testify of him. Right, So
- 19:41Speaker 1: Paul knew the heart and the plan of God. So
- 19:44Speaker 1: Paul was not persuaded, persuaded right to compromise God's will.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Paul stood ten tones down. Now, how many of us
- 19:57Speaker 1: knowing that God gave us a w word. God revealed
- 20:03Speaker 1: to us his will and his purpose for his search
- 20:07Speaker 1: and situation for a certain situation. But people spoke to us,
- 20:15Speaker 1: People came to us. People wanted us to change our
- 20:20Speaker 1: minds and change our outlook, changed our decisions and our thoughts.
- 20:27Speaker 1: And if we would have listened to them, we would
- 20:32Speaker 1: have walked right out of God's will in God's plan
- 20:35Speaker 1: for our lives. And sadly, beloved, my testimony is I
- 20:40Speaker 1: have I've done that. I've listened to the complaints of people,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and I have not done I know what God has
- 20:49Speaker 1: wanted me to do in certain situations. Because of that,
- 20:54Speaker 1: and Paul knew the plot from before. Right. I believe
- 20:59Speaker 1: that Paul was a very intelligent man. And I believe
- 21:03Speaker 1: that Paul remembered two years ago they tried the same thing.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Two years ago. They tried to get him to go
- 21:11Speaker 1: to Jerusalem, and they ploted in ambush. And I believe
- 21:16Speaker 1: Paul knew exactly what was going on. So as a
- 21:20Speaker 1: Roman citizen, he has the right to appeal to Caesar.
- 21:27Speaker 1: To the Jews, I have done no wrong, as you
- 21:32Speaker 1: very well know. Look at Paul, standing ten toes down.
- 21:37Speaker 1: He told the leader you very well know, like everyone knows,
- 21:43Speaker 1: that Paul is innocent. What does this remind you of?
- 21:47Speaker 1: This is exactly how they treated Jesus a man Verse eleven.
- 21:54Speaker 1: For if I am an offender or have committed anything
- 21:58Speaker 1: deserving of death, I do not object to dying. But
- 22:04Speaker 1: if there is nothing in these things which these men
- 22:08Speaker 1: accuse me, no one can deliver me to them. I
- 22:13Speaker 1: appealed to Caesar. Come on, Paul. Now that's a man's
- 22:19Speaker 1: man right there. Paul was one of my heroes in
- 22:24Speaker 1: the New Testiny. First of all, he's like, look, let's
- 22:29Speaker 1: man up. I am not afraid to die. If I
- 22:33Speaker 1: did anything deserving to death, let's get on with it.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I don't object to it, even in I can't speak
- 22:39Speaker 1: of the scripture. Paul says that to the part is better,
- 22:45Speaker 1: but it's necessary for me to stay for your sake.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Paul had a taste of heaven. Paul knew what was
- 22:54Speaker 1: a waiting there. He knew that there was a better world,
- 22:57Speaker 1: a better life. Paul y All knew that nothing in
- 23:01Speaker 1: this temporary world is worth holding on to. Nothing in
- 23:07Speaker 1: this temporary world is worth missing the kingdom and missing
- 23:13Speaker 1: our relationship with God. So think about your life. Are
- 23:20Speaker 1: you storing up treasures in heaven? Are you investing in
- 23:24Speaker 1: your eternity? Are you keeping your commitment with God to
- 23:32Speaker 1: meet him every day in prayer? Are you keeping your
- 23:35Speaker 1: commitment with God, studying your word every day? Or are
- 23:42Speaker 1: you easily distracted by this world getting busy paying bills,
- 23:48Speaker 1: going to work and guess what, those bills are gonna
- 23:51Speaker 1: come every month. They're not going away. And the way
- 23:56Speaker 1: society is, they got us busy. We gotta work two
- 24:00Speaker 1: or three jobs now to pay our bills. But on
- 24:04Speaker 1: that day of judgment, when you meet God face to face,
- 24:11Speaker 1: what are you gonna have to show for your eternal destiny?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Did you build make your bed in heaven or did
- 24:21Speaker 1: you make your bed in hell, and that's the plot
- 24:25Speaker 1: of the enemy. And Paul's like, look, this world is temporary.
- 24:30Speaker 1: This world doesn't mean nothing to me. Hey, let's do it.
- 24:35Speaker 1: But I am not going to allow anyone to put
- 24:40Speaker 1: me in their hands to deliver me to them. I
- 24:42Speaker 1: appeal to Caesar. So he uses his Roman citizen right
- 24:48Speaker 1: to appeal to the highest court. It's almost like going
- 24:52Speaker 1: to the supreme Court. And the Romans had this privilege
- 24:59Speaker 1: Verse twelve, that bless this. When he had conferred with
- 25:02Speaker 1: the council, answered, you have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar,
- 25:08Speaker 1: you shall go now. At this point the decision is final.
- 25:15Speaker 1: At this point, the will of God is a go.
- 25:21Speaker 1: The door has been opened for the perfect plan of God.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Jesus wanted this the whole time, and now it is done.
- 25:32Speaker 1: It is accomplished. Sometimes God will use pressure to get
- 25:40Speaker 1: his will and his plans accomplished. Even though Paul testified
- 25:49Speaker 1: in Jerusalem, as I read the scriptures in the Book
- 25:55Speaker 1: of Acts, the Holy Spirit was always telling Paul to
- 26:00Speaker 1: lee Jerusalem. He told him to go from this place,
- 26:05Speaker 1: and remember there is a church there, there are believers there. James,
- 26:12Speaker 1: the brother of Jesus, was there. He was the pastor
- 26:15Speaker 1: of the Jerusalem Church. God had a witness. God had
- 26:21Speaker 1: a presence in Jerusalem. But he had another plan for
- 26:26Speaker 1: Paul to go to the Gentiles. All right, bro, love it.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Let's take a quick break.
- 26:36Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 26:40Speaker 3: is the hiss hop radio show.
- 26:42Speaker 2: If it don't matter the Christ, that don't matter to me.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm a ball in the court.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Finmi he thok that there would a lie and seek
- 26:48Speaker 2: through high like a hundred degrees. Oh, my Bible, I'm
- 26:51Speaker 2: deeping the Word and I'm leading not think six thirty
- 26:53Speaker 2: three see first the kingdom to seek to be righteous.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Anything else as a chronic disease.
- 27:00Speaker 3: It's high.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Uh, it's high.
- 27:07Speaker 2: How uh it's it's I It don't matter the quick
- 27:12Speaker 2: It don't matter to me. I'm a bothering the court,

- 29:13Speaker 1: the way there. This stuff for the white. This guy,
- 29:15Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be living. They will say that like
- 29:18Speaker 1: it's a game. But I'm only changing the white.
- 29:35Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 29:38Speaker 3: is the Hiss Hop radio show.
- 29:57Speaker 1: All right, all right, y'all, we are back from the break.
- 30:01Speaker 1: This is your brother mister his hot and uh that
- 30:06Speaker 1: was our brother Alex Jean with its hot. It's hot. Yes,
- 30:11Speaker 1: by you know we out here in Vegas. It's about
- 30:13Speaker 1: to get out up in here. Summertime is the faun
- 30:16Speaker 1: ofs y'all. Hey, our next segment is the Accountability Partner.
- 30:23Speaker 1: As we were going through the Book of Acts, our
- 30:26Speaker 1: brother Paul is going from one situation to the next.
- 30:31Speaker 1: But God is a keeper. Amen, hallelujah. Don't let your
- 30:37Speaker 1: situation get you down, don't let it discourage you. Seek
- 30:43Speaker 1: God's will. God's playing God's purposes in the middle of it.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I believe that you will find a breakthrough and you
- 30:53Speaker 1: will be fulfilling God's purpose. If you stay faithful. Amen.
- 30:58Speaker 1: All right, Accountability Partner segment, we give you a challenge
- 31:05Speaker 1: every day to call your accountability partner to pray together,
- 31:09Speaker 1: to agree together in prayer, because there's power in agreement.
- 31:16Speaker 1: But you have to have integrity. You have to allow
- 31:19Speaker 1: the word of God to minister to your heart if
- 31:23Speaker 1: you need to be corrected, if you need to make adjustments.
- 31:26Speaker 1: The whole point is, we turn from sin and we
- 31:29Speaker 1: turn to God. We go to God with those struggles.
- 31:33Speaker 1: We go to God. We ask him for grace to
- 31:36Speaker 1: change sinful habits and sinful practices, sinful patterns, anything that's
- 31:43Speaker 1: got SI in in it. We take it to God
- 31:46Speaker 1: to get cleansed so that we can come home right,
- 31:51Speaker 1: we can make it to heaven. That's the whole point.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's a matter of life and death. Encourage you to
- 32:00Speaker 1: find a good, faithful accountability partner, someone who believes in
- 32:04Speaker 1: the words, someone who lives it out, someone who has
- 32:07Speaker 1: some spiritual victories under their belts where they can encourage you.
- 32:12Speaker 1: And as you do, reach out to them and ask
- 32:16Speaker 1: your partner, am I standing firm in truth? When pressure rises? Amen?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Let that be the topic and the challenges do not
- 32:29Speaker 1: fold under pressure. Stand on truth even when it is uncomfortable. Amen.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You got to stand on truth even when people don't understand.
- 32:41Speaker 1: The worst thing you can do is encourage a person
- 32:45Speaker 1: who's in a life of sin. I can't make you
- 32:49Speaker 1: comfortable in your sin. I can't tell you God understands.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I can't tell you to continue. I can't tell sometimes
- 32:58Speaker 1: I to love. We got to confront people. They might
- 33:01Speaker 1: lose a relationship, but they will respect you for it later,
- 33:05Speaker 1: once they finally come to their senses. Right, Lil says,
- 33:09Speaker 1: the brother is born for adversity, and the kisses of
- 33:13Speaker 1: enemies are deceitful. Right, warch out for people who flatter
- 33:19Speaker 1: you all the time, and they're not. They're afraid to
- 33:23Speaker 1: tell you about yourself. Right, I tell you the truth, Amen,
- 33:30Speaker 1: That will save our bacon. You also want to let
- 33:35Speaker 1: you know that his Hot Radio is a monitored and
- 33:37Speaker 1: a reporting radio station. We can give you spend data
- 33:42Speaker 1: that means how many times your song was played on
- 33:45Speaker 1: our station. It's all recorded, and we have our own
- 33:49Speaker 1: charting system. We report to Gospel Music Charts, DRT Radio Charts.
- 33:57Speaker 1: We do have a account with Media Base, but we're
- 34:01Speaker 1: having issues over there, and the app itself. You can
- 34:05Speaker 1: rank number one. All you have to do is vote

- 34:11Speaker 1: song plays on his Hot radio app. So, if you

- 34:31Speaker 1: let's head on over to trivia. Let's get our fingers ready.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I want to give a shout out to the live
- 34:37Speaker 1: chat to our brother Zone three, our brother Corinth, to Chodvilla,
- 34:43Speaker 1: I mean chod Nila. Man, I'm thinking of a Godzilla Chopvilla,
- 34:49Speaker 1: our brothers and sisters, chop Nila. That's a tongue twister.
- 34:55Speaker 1: This is his hot Sissequincy. Everybody who pops into the
- 34:59Speaker 1: live chat, we appreciate y'all. But let's see who is
- 35:03Speaker 1: the trivia champ for today. As we know, our brother's
- 35:08Speaker 1: own three is a reigning champ who is gonna knock
- 35:11Speaker 1: him off the throne today? It's just like playing King
- 35:15Speaker 1: of the Hill, right, we'd like to have fun on
- 35:17Speaker 1: this podcast, and so the first person who answers the
- 35:21Speaker 1: question correctly is the champ for today. So the question
- 35:28Speaker 1: is who did Paul appeal to let me ask that again.
- 35:34Speaker 1: The question is who did Paul appeal to? And we
- 35:37Speaker 1: give you a couple of options here. Was it Herod,
- 35:41Speaker 1: was it Felix, was it Caesar? Or was it the Sanhedrin?
- 35:50Speaker 1: All right, let's see who would be the first one
- 35:53Speaker 1: to get that right. And also community shout outs. This
- 35:56Speaker 1: is where we would show some local love. If you
- 35:58Speaker 1: have an event or anything going on, let us know.
- 36:02Speaker 1: We would love to send that out to you. And
- 36:05Speaker 1: also we'll give you updates about our activities and what
- 36:09Speaker 1: we are doing. We are gearing up for some events
- 36:13Speaker 1: out here in the community, but the one that is
- 36:16Speaker 1: hot on the table right now is May eighth at
- 36:19Speaker 1: the Metals Mall. We'll be there between eleven and three o'clock.
- 36:25Speaker 1: It's spending the ones in twos, hitting you with some
- 36:30Speaker 1: straight ministry heat and showing some local love. So if
- 36:37Speaker 1: you want to come out, come on out. You can

- 37:02Speaker 1: with the Juvenile Detention Center, We work with Metro Police
- 37:07Speaker 1: in the school district. God has us in many different places,
- 37:13Speaker 1: but we need your help. We are looking to reopen
- 37:16Speaker 1: and relaunch Club His Hot Las Vegas. His ministry started
- 37:20Speaker 1: off as a gospel club in our local city, and
- 37:25Speaker 1: I do believe God still has a plan and a purpose,
- 37:30Speaker 1: but we need support. We believe that where God guides,
- 37:33Speaker 1: he provides. If God has placed it on your heart
- 37:36Speaker 1: to donate, to do so on our website his Hot
- 37:40Speaker 1: Nation dot com or even on the app His Hot
- 37:43Speaker 1: Radio on all platforms. Five dollars a month, two dollars

- 37:53Speaker 1: Whatever God's placed on your heart, all of it is
- 37:55Speaker 1: accounted and appreciated. And that is also another way to
- 38:02Speaker 1: store up treasures in heaven by giving unto the work
- 38:06Speaker 1: of God. Amen. So we don't want to rob you
- 38:10Speaker 1: of your blessing. And it's all tax deductible. All right, family,
- 38:17Speaker 1: that is my time for today. I'm gonna thank everyone
- 38:21Speaker 1: for showing up to His Hot Radio podcast. I got
- 38:26Speaker 1: some closing remarks, So as we get out of here.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Pressure doesn't mean you're losing at all. Right, sometimes it
- 38:36Speaker 1: means you're being positioned. God is putting you in a
- 38:41Speaker 1: greater position to fulfill purpose. Now, Paul, he appealed to Caesar,
- 38:50Speaker 1: and he also stepped into prophecy at the same time,
- 38:57Speaker 1: because Jesus said that you will go. That's where you
- 39:00Speaker 1: will go. It was already prophesied. Right, So stand your
- 39:05Speaker 1: ground because God's plan is bigger than your current situation.
- 39:14Speaker 1: And we said that again. God's plan is bigger than
- 39:19Speaker 1: your current situation. To stay faithful, stay bold, and stay ready.
