- 0:02Hey, guys, welcome to the live stream.
- 0:03Welcome to the basement to you. We got a lot to talk about
- 0:07today. A big warning from silver about
- 0:10the silver price, $29.50. How are you going to feel two
- 0:16weeks from today if we're down here, you and I, talking about
- 0:21$2625 silver? Or we can be optimistic now,
- 0:27can't we? Because we're an optimistic
- 0:29bunch. What if we're talking about $34
- 0:32silver? I think either of those numbers
- 0:35could happen within the next two to three weeks.
- 0:38We are in a critical, critical phase and talking about critical
- 0:42phases. We got big, big, big, big, big
- 0:46news to talk about with the Russians.
- 0:48They're a little closer than you may like or you may think right
- 0:51now. We'll talk about that and a
- 0:53whole lot more. But let's go to the silver news
- 0:56right off the bat. Thank you for being here.
- 0:58You're the most important part around basement and we are at
- 1:03silverprice.org. And what you were looking at,
- 1:06basement dwellers is a one year chart of silver.
- 1:11See, silver, my yellow finger, one year.
- 1:14Isn't that absolutely beautiful? Let me draw your attention back
- 1:18to October, right? October of just last year.
- 1:22That was what, seven months ago we had silver below $22.00 per
- 1:27oz. Today we are sitting at $29.50.
- 1:31Here's the big warning, warning, warning.
- 1:34And I'm going to use a nifty new piece of technology that I
- 1:37developed this morning. If I can get it to work.
- 1:40Here we go. You always love to watch me
- 1:43draw. Let's look at what's going on in
- 1:46silver. As you can see, back in March we
- 1:48were at 20, what, 22 something and change.
- 1:52I'm going to draw a red line here for you.
- 1:55OK, you see that line? That's the silver price from
- 2:00March through today. That is support.
- 2:03As you can see, the price went up.
- 2:05Hit the support went up. Hit the support went up $32 man,
- 2:10we were right on the cusp and we're not a we are we are long
- 2:14term optimistic about silver, no doubt about it.
- 2:17But we tried to breakthrough 32 Why is 32 we're going to come
- 2:21back to this chart in just one second.
- 2:23I need to talk to you for a moment.
- 2:24Why is $32 per oz so important for silver?
- 2:29It is overhead resistance, guys, when we get the past 32 and let
- 2:34me tell you something, baby, do you believe, I believe it's
- 2:38going to happen here and it's going to happen sooner as
- 2:41opposed to later. I believe I'll make a
- 2:44prediction, my big standing prediction for you basement
- 2:47dwellers right now is that before the election we're going
- 2:50to have some major economic turmoil.
- 2:53But I'll also make the prediction that by the EOI, you
- 2:57know what EOI stands for end of year, we will have silver above
- 3:02and beyond that $32 resistance. And once we get up there, it's,
- 3:07it's, it's clear sailing when we get like a weekly close on
- 3:11silver at 3330 four, $35, it's Katie bar the door, it's party
- 3:16time for silver. I'm telling you, because
- 3:19nobody's up there wanting to sell.
- 3:22That's when we can see silver move into the $4050 range.
- 3:26I digress. Let's go back to that chart and
- 3:32I'm just going to show you now we could we could guys.
- 3:35This is why we are in critical. That's why we're issuing a big
- 3:38warning if we fall down right? If we fall down below that red
- 3:43line, we could go back here to that 26 range.
- 3:48All right, I look, do I think that's going to happen?
- 3:51No. Could it plausibly happen?
- 3:54Yes, it could very well happen, but we know the long term,
- 3:58right. Do you believe in silver in the
- 3:59long run? I mean, I don't know.
- 4:01Just the more I think about it. Are you experiencing this?
- 4:04Like, it becomes very, very obvious to me that silver is a
- 4:09smart, smart long term investment.
- 4:12You wanna look at the gold chart too, do you?
- 4:14Right. Because don't forget, gold is
- 4:16the godfather of the precious metals.
- 4:20Gold is the leader of the pack. Gold is the Big Brother, right?
- 4:23Gold's a basement dweller just like us.
- 4:26Let's go take a look at the gold and see what gold's showing us.
- 4:29Gold, gold, gold. Here we go.
- 4:31I think I just click on gold. OK, All right, let me see if I
- 4:38can refresh this thing. You know, gold.
- 4:43There we go, there's gold. Let's look at a first.
- 4:47Let's look. Let's just just so we feel warm
- 4:50and fuzzy, let's look at a 30 year chart of gold.
- 4:53Right cut handle breakout. Look at that guy's man.
- 4:58Gold is strong, but let's look at just a one year chart of
- 5:02gold. Wow.
- 5:04Oh, this is interesting. And I'm going to credit Rafi
- 5:07Farber for this. He pointed this out.
- 5:08We're going to do a little more drawing, but gold has and and
- 5:13and I don't want to take words out of his mouth.
- 5:15He does a weekly video on Arcadia economics with our
- 5:18friend Chris Marcus. But he pointed this out about
- 5:21the gold chart, and that is, and I'll do my best here to show
- 5:25this to you, that is that we have an increasingly steep
- 5:28support lines. So like there's a support line
- 5:32there for gold, but then there's like another support line for
- 5:37gold, right? And then there's even the more
- 5:40like the further along the line you go, the more extreme the
- 5:44support level is for the gold price right now.
- 5:47So that's our big warning. All right, look, I don't know
- 5:51how you feel about it, but you know, we know the strong
- 5:54fundamentals supporting the silver price, supporting the
- 5:57gold price. But when it comes to silver, we
- 5:59are in, are you, I mean, we are in very delicate territory right
- 6:05now, OK? Do I think 2 weeks from now
- 6:07we're going to be talking about $26 silver?
- 6:10Not necessarily, but I think there's a chance.
- 6:13I think there's a 3040% chance. Do I think we'll be talking
- 6:16about 3433 dollars silver 234 weeks from now?
- 6:20I think there's an equally as strong chance.
- 6:23But I want to ask you a question.
- 6:24How would you react? Right?
- 6:26Is silver, let's say silver was $25.00 an ounce right now, are
- 6:31you OK? Right.
- 6:33You've got to be mentally prepared for the volatility
- 6:37which is inherent within the silver price.
- 6:40The other thing we can point out about silver this week, I had a
- 6:43number of you emailed me saying, man, silver's been crazy, right?
- 6:47Was that last Friday it was down to dollars and then this week it
- 6:50was up a dollar, down a dollar, all over the place.
- 6:53Silver is volatile, OK, but but have you ever noticed this in
- 6:58all your years of watching stock prices, metals prices, the
- 7:03silver price, does silver fall into this?
- 7:06Often times these periods of volatility and we've had some
- 7:10strong volatility in the last week, our precursors for big up
- 7:15moves. I've witnessed that now it's
- 7:17nothing's 100%, but we could be in for a big upward move in the
- 7:22silver price. And really over the last week,
- 7:25one last time, let's go take a look at this chart.
- 7:27I forgot to I forgot to point this out and show this to you.
- 7:31If we go to silver, hold on, let me refresh this and we will go
- 7:36to silver and we will go to a one week chart on silver.
- 7:45OK, we basically that was Friday.
- 7:48That was Monday. We basically had a, this chart
- 7:53doesn't show it really well, but we had a very volatile week up,
- 7:56down, down, back up, right. We basically ended the week
- 8:00where we started in the silver price.
- 8:03So despite all that, what felt like a roller coaster ride in
- 8:07the price of silver, we did OK by the end of the week.
- 8:11OK, Hey, guys, big. This is scary.
- 8:14OK, There are Russian warships 90 miles off the coast of the
- 8:19United States. They are in Cuba.
- 8:21Let's go to The Associated Press and see what they're telling us
- 8:24about this. I thought they were rather
- 8:27truthful in their assessment of the situation.
- 8:30Russian warships reach Cuban waters ahead of military
- 8:34exercises in the Caribbean. Remember, this is 90 miles off
- 8:41the coast of the United States. But it gets even a little
- 8:44scarier when I tell you what what I've heard from some of the
- 8:48other analysts that are out there talking about why this
- 8:51could be so significant. A fleet of Russian warships
- 8:54reached Cuban waters on Wednesday ahead of the planned
- 8:57military exercises. It's a frigate, a submarine,
- 9:01blah, blah, blah. Russian.
- 9:03Russian sailors were saluting, of course, blah, blah, blah.
- 9:07U.S. officials expect Russian ships to remain in the region
- 9:10through the summer and possibly stop in Venezuela.
- 9:15This is where it gets interesting on 2 levels, All
- 9:19right? And this is what the the
- 9:20mainstream, mainstream media is not going to say.
- 9:22I heard one of those retired armed Colonel or generals, I
- 9:28don't know, McGregor or whatever.
- 9:29He's always on all these other channels talking about this on
- 9:32redacted, the channel he was on the channel redacted and he said
- 9:36he he hypothesized and I don't know what his sources are.
- 9:40So again, I'm saying hypothesize you can dig into this for
- 9:44yourself, but that the Russians may very likely have some
- 9:47hypersonic missiles on these ships in Cuba.
- 9:52Not nuclear missiles, but hypersonic missiles.
- 9:55And let me remind you, hypersonic missiles are really
- 9:59immune to any of the defense systems that we know of anyway.
- 10:03So what he was saying is that like, we've got these hypersonic
- 10:08missiles right off the coast of of Florida, 90 miles off, and
- 10:12that these missiles could be shot anywhere on the East Coast
- 10:15of the United States and be there in 12 minutes and that the
- 10:18United States would almost be defenseless.
- 10:21What a lot of people are saying right now, OK.
- 10:23And there's a lot of a lot of, let's say, speculation,
- 10:28hypothesizing is that this is very scary because what the
- 10:31Russians are doing, OK, we just announced that we were going to
- 10:36allow Western weapons to be used to hit within the Russian
- 10:44territories. And that the Russians are now
- 10:46doing this saying, OK, fine, if you're going to use weapons to
- 10:49hit within our territory, we're going to send some ships over
- 10:52with weapons that we could use. And again, this is all
- 10:56hypothetical. You know, there's a lot of fog
- 10:59right now in the world, but we're going to send over weapons
- 11:02that we could use to hit within the United States.
- 11:05And guys, they're only 90 mile, like the shoes on the other
- 11:08foot. They're saying, how do you like
- 11:09it when we have weapons parked right off your coast that could
- 11:14be used to hit within your territory?
- 11:16We don't want any of this to go on.
- 11:18It's really sad. I mean, it's really a crazy
- 11:21situation happening right now. The other thing to remember,
- 11:25they're, they're gonna be stopping in Venezuela and Cuba.
- 11:29And the United States has been trying to exert a lot of
- 11:31authority over Venezuela, over Cuba.
- 11:34So it's really a probably a much more precarious situation than
- 11:41most Americans realize what's going on right now in the world.
- 11:44Again, OK, here it says right here.
- 11:47But this mission comes less than I'm sorry, I had all this
- 11:50highlighted for you guys. And then the computer like,
- 11:53crashed before we came on. Let's do this one in orange.
- 11:56What do you say? This mission comes less than two
- 11:59weeks after President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine.
- 12:03This is The Associated Press authorized Ukraine to use US
- 12:07provided weapons to strike inside Russia to protect
- 12:11Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, prompting
- 12:14President Vladimir Putin to suggest his military could
- 12:18respond with asymmetrical steps elsewhere in the world.
- 12:24Asymmetrical means bigger. OK, You want to do this to us?
- 12:29OK, well, we'll respond with something even bigger to you.
- 12:34The world, I tell you, the average man and woman in the in
- 12:37the West does not know how precarious the situation is.
- 12:42OK, Most of all, this is a quote.
- 12:44The warships are a reminder to Washington that it is an that it
- 12:48is unpleasant when an adversary medals and you're near abroad, I
- 12:53mean on your border. That's Benjamin Geden, director
- 12:56of the Latin America program at the Washington based Wilson
- 12:59Center think tank, referring to Western involvement in Russia's
- 13:04war in Ukraine. OK, Lindsey Graham, I don't know
- 13:09if you saw this, but there was a, there was a, a, a clip out
- 13:13yesterday, Senator Lindsey Graham, who I'm not very fond
- 13:17of. He's one of a handful of people
- 13:19that I'm not necessarily. I don't dislike him, but I'm not
- 13:22very fond of him. He was talking about how we need
- 13:26to escalate the war in Ukraine and why, and it really makes me
- 13:31sad. I want to see how you feel about
- 13:34this. OK?
- 13:35Because what he mentioned in this clip recent interview was
- 13:39that because Ukraine has trillions and trillions, Ukraine
- 13:44is wealthy. I don't know if you know this or
- 13:46not, but Ukraine is like the bread basket of Europe.
- 13:49Ukraine is rich in natural resources, natural gas.
- 13:53Remember, Hunter Biden, the the commodities guru that he is, sat
- 13:57on the board of directors for Burisma, the big, I believe,
- 14:00Ukrainian natural gas company. I'll leave that one alone.
- 14:04None the less, Lindsey Graham is saying we need to, we need to
- 14:08fight the Russians because he basically said because we need
- 14:11all these resources. And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 14:14whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute.
- 14:16Have you no concern for the, what is it, 600,000 people
- 14:20who've lost their lives in this war?
- 14:24Have you no concern for all the people who maybe didn't lose
- 14:28their lives but had their homes destroyed, their lives upended?
- 14:33I mean, my gosh, look, this is not a political show.
- 14:35This is not a show about war and peace and everything else.
- 14:40But my Lord, all this war, like it's, is it, is this what it's
- 14:44really about? Is it really about natural
- 14:47resources? I mean, you know, if it is, then
- 14:51tell us that. Don't lie.
- 14:53OK? That's what I would say.
- 14:55Nonetheless, I digress. Don't forget June 14th.
- 14:58That was yesterday. Next year we'll celebrate it.
- 15:00Bigger and bigger and bigger was International Women's Stacking
- 15:04Day. What does that mean?
- 15:05That means more people are getting into the silver market.
- 15:09Think about it, more people, we women, men, young people are
- 15:14getting into the silver and gold stacking market in the West.
- 15:19It's percolating, it's being catalyzed, OK.
- 15:23And guys, when it really takes hold and it'll probably, I want
- 15:27you to, I want you to think about this, it's probably really
- 15:30going to take hold the next wave, the next major wave and
- 15:34you're going to be real popular. So be prepared.
- 15:36The next big wave is going to happen when, right when
- 15:40inflation hits again. And I'm telling you, inflation
- 15:43is hitting again in this country.
- 15:46It is mathematically impossible that it not. the Fed is in a
- 15:50box. Let's get him out.
- 15:51Let's say hello. He thought he was free for the
- 15:55weekend. OK, He's in a box, right?
- 15:58Do not open. OK, The solution is silver.
- 16:02Let's just do it. It's been a while.
- 16:04Here's the solution. Silver.
- 16:08He hates it. OK.
- 16:10Because this guy, everybody say hello to Jerome.
- 16:13Hi, everybody. It's Jerome Powell.
- 16:15Don't, don't worry. I'm looking out for you.
- 16:17Oh, yeah. No inflation is coming.
- 16:20When think about it, remember the last inflation.
- 16:23We're going to look at a chart here in a little bit.
- 16:25That's going to blow your mind. All right?
- 16:28Absolutely blow your mind. But the last time inflation hit,
- 16:32everybody was in shock, right? And now people are starting to
- 16:36wake up, even though inflation's under control.
- 16:39Just ask Janet Yellen or Jerome. They're confused why you're not
- 16:43happy about the strong economy in the United States.
- 16:46Well, maybe, just maybe somebody needs to tell them that you're
- 16:51not happy because you're not part of the top 1%.
- 16:54Maybe you are. If you are, congratulations.
- 16:56But if you're not, if you're an average American making an
- 17:00average income, your life stinks.
- 17:02Well, it doesn't stink. Your economic life stinks.
- 17:04Your financial life stinks because you can't buy steak now
- 17:08they want you to buy pork chops or chicken, right?
- 17:11You can't go on as nice, but you can't go out to eat as much
- 17:14because of the prices of everything have gone through the
- 17:16roof. When that happens again, right
- 17:20when that next wave comes through, that's when the other
- 17:23people right now we're maybe what, one in 21 in 50, maybe one
- 17:28in 100 people. That's when another five out of
- 17:33110 out of 100 join us. That's when you become even more
- 17:37popular than you already are right now.
- 17:40Because everybody knows you understand silver and gold and
- 17:43they look at you a little skeptically like, oh, silver and
- 17:46gold. My financial advisor told me
- 17:49silver and gold aren't a good investment because, well, I
- 17:52don't know why he said that. Well, maybe your financial
- 17:54advisor said that to you because he doesn't make any money off
- 17:57silver and gold. Just just throwing that one out
- 18:00there. OK, now inflation's coming
- 18:04because the Fed's in big, big, big, big trouble.
- 18:07OK, let's, let's, I won't, I won't just imagine that.
- 18:11We're looking at the US debt clock right now.
- 18:13You probably would rather look at that than look at me.
- 18:15But the debt is out of control. The financial monetary system is
- 18:19out of control. Here's why he's in a box.
- 18:22There's a reason why he's in a box, right?
- 18:25He's got a recession on one side and inflation on the other.
- 18:29And this is real simple, guys, real simple.
- 18:33Because if he lowers rates like everybody's clamoring for, but
- 18:37he just keeps putting it off. If you notice that, it's like
- 18:40when I ask my kids, Evelyn, will you please clean your room?
- 18:44Please, Evelyn, She can hear me right now, by the way.
- 18:47Oh, yeah, Daddy, I'll do it later.
- 18:49That's what Jerome's doing right now.
- 18:50Well, we'll lower rates, so we're going to lower them later.
- 18:54Later. What?
- 18:54Yeah. You know why 'cause he can't
- 18:56lower rates. If he lowers rates, inflation
- 19:00immediate rocket goes up. OK, No doubt about it.
- 19:05We already have an inflation problem in this country.
- 19:08OK, the other problem, right? There's another big, big problem
- 19:12with lowering rates. Right?
- 19:14But what about raising rates, right?
- 19:16Are they going to raise rates? Well, if they raise rates right,
- 19:19to control, really control inflation, that makes the
- 19:22government go bankrupt because we have all that debt that makes
- 19:25corporations go bankrupt 'cause they have all that debt.
- 19:27That makes the banks go, go more belly up than they already are.
- 19:31The banks who are already insolvent, right?
- 19:35That makes everything go up the, the, the country, the business
- 19:38community, the banks. And finally, the person that you
- 19:43care about most, you and me, right?
- 19:45The average consumer, remember the United States is a consumer
- 19:48based economy, right? Well, guess what?
- 19:50They go, they're in worse shape. They'll every and then he has to
- 19:53print, which creates inflation. Everything leads back to the
- 19:57same reality. I'm trying to think of a way to
- 20:00explain it like like you know, like you can.
- 20:02You can go this way or you can go that way.
- 20:05But either way, you end up in the same place, which is
- 20:08printing money. And when money is printed, that
- 20:11increases the supply of these things.
- 20:14Where are they? That's a silver certificate.
- 20:16That's not what I want. These paper dollars, OK, You
- 20:20increase the supply of those, and guess what, right, The value
- 20:24goes down. And when the value of the dollar
- 20:26goes down, prices go up. And that includes your silver.
- 20:29That includes your gold. That's what's happening.
- 20:33That's the reality. Let's get back to Costco.
- 20:36I wrote this out for you because it was so critical.
- 20:39The Costco gold sales means there's new people getting into
- 20:43stacking. These are new, generally new
- 20:44people, OK? Experienced stackers I don't
- 20:48think are really for the most part, with some exceptions, but
- 20:52buying their gold or silver at Costco.
- 20:55So it's a good thing. That's the biggest sign from
- 20:58this explosion and it's new people coming and look, they'll
- 21:02wise up, right? At some point they'll realize
- 21:04like if I'm going to buy silver, I'm going to buy gold.
- 21:06I'm going to buy it from a specialist, I'm going to buy it
- 21:09from a company that that's all they do is deal in silver and
- 21:13gold 'cause there's some big good companies out there that do
- 21:17that. But for now, what a sign is that
- 21:20to us, OK, that all these are, oh, new people.
- 21:25Sorry, everybody say hi to Susie.
- 21:27Thank you, Susie. Say hi to everybody.
- 21:30Saturday Christmas rose and fun. Thank you for being.
- 21:35Here. OK, Thank you, Susie.
- 21:39It's the weekend. We're going to ring all the
- 21:41bells today, guys. Thank you for being here.
- 21:44This is the pocket pinger, right?
- 21:46That's a nice piece of silver that I got from my friend
- 21:49Silvershire Big 10. OK, I'm going to ring it 10 * 1
- 21:53time for each thumb up. So please give this a thumbs up.
- 21:56That helps the channel. That helps get the word out to
- 21:59more people. Leave a comment and you can
- 22:01always subscribe. That's free.
- 22:03That's the last begging I'll do today.
- 22:05Oh, by the way, I want to put this up.
- 22:08Hold on here. We're all over the place.
- 22:10I know those are our sponsors. Let's ring this for you.
- 22:13Listen to the silver ring 678910.
- 22:25Hopefully you guys can hear that.
- 22:26I adjusted the microphone. Let's get back to it.
- 22:30Everybody's buying silver, right?
- 22:33Everybody's buying gold. Listen to Costco.
- 22:35Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever.
- 22:37Well, when they when they wise up and they want to get their
- 22:39silver and let's check. Let's check on the silver price.
- 22:43Oh look at that 2957. Remember critical warning gold
- 22:48$2332.00 per oz. I want to say thank you to our
- 22:54channel sponsor Pimbex. Like I said, the people that are
- 22:57new that are coming into stacking, do your research,
- 23:01check out all the companies, right?
- 23:03Check their reputation. That's what I did.
- 23:06I was happy with Pimbex before they sponsored my channel, but
- 23:11what it made me even more happy about Pembex because as Susie
- 23:14will tell you, I'm a tight, tight person, tight person with
- 23:20my money. I like value.
- 23:22I wanted to get the most metal for my money.
- 23:24And when I compared prices for the exact same products that I
- 23:28could get at Pembex compared to the other online bullion dealers
- 23:32who I used to work with, I got more metal for my money with
- 23:35Pembex. Their customer service is great
- 23:38and their packaging's a lot of fun.
- 23:40Things come wrapped up like Fort Knox, and it's fun to unwrap it
- 23:43all because you know, inside is not only, in my case, silver,
- 23:48right, but even more silver. Some bonus silver that I was
- 23:52able to get a few more oz each time because I got such a great
- 23:56price as compared to if I'd bought it from other sites.
- 23:59If you ever decide that you want to convert all or part of an IRA
- 24:04to silver or gold, right, do yourself a favor and talk to the
- 24:08guys at Pinbex about that as well.
- 24:11Let's not forget, let's not forget, and then we're going to
- 24:15let this one go down for a while.
- 24:17But this I thought was a great article from our friend Mike
- 24:21Mahari about silver. Silver demand in the solar
- 24:26sector could squeeze silver supplies.
- 24:28But there were a few new points in this that I wanted to point
- 24:33out to you. There we go.
- 24:35This is interesting. He really details guys, it's a
- 24:38big deal the new the the solar panels.
- 24:42Solar panels use a lot of silver.
- 24:44The new solar panels use even more and and he gives a great
- 24:48concise description of that. Each solar panel uses
- 24:51approximately 20 grams, about 2/3 of an ounce of silver.
- 24:56While this is relatively small amount, the total adds up
- 25:01quickly when you consider the number of panels produced each
- 25:04year. Yes, right.
- 25:06China, India, building solar farms four times the size of
- 25:10Paris, the size of New York. I mean, it's crazy.
- 25:13The solar industry right now used approximately 100 million
- 25:16ounces of silver, 100 million in 2023, accounting for about 14%.
- 25:23Several years ago, analysts assumed did the amount of silver
- 25:27this remember that guys remember, oh, they're going to
- 25:29stop using silver and solar panels.
- 25:31The amount of silver used in solar panels would decline over
- 25:35time with the development of new technologies.
- 25:38By the way, basement dwellers, if you want a fancy way to
- 25:41describe that using less of a precious metal like silver in a
- 25:45solar panel, they call that thrifting.
- 25:49Like they're thrifty, like they're going to find things to
- 25:51use besides silver in the solar panels.
- 25:54However, a Saxo Bank report in 2020 disputed this claim, saying
- 25:59quote potential substitute metals cannot match silver in
- 26:04terms of energy output per solar panel.
- 26:07Well, it was a nice try, but you can't get away from using silver
- 26:11now. This is the part where he talks
- 26:12about the new technology. OK, Newer more efficient
- 26:16technologies use 20 to 120% more silver.
- 26:22Remember, that's per panel by 2022.
- 26:26The newer technology was Perk and and I'm sorry, the old
- 26:30technology was Perk and it was being replaced by top con tunnel
- 26:34oxide passivity contact cells. OK, a top con cell is cheaper to
- 26:40produce but uses more silver than a PERC solar panel.
- 26:46It contains about 13 milligrams of silver per Watt.
- 26:50But it gets even better. You know, there's always an
- 26:52extra bonus kicker for his basement dwellers.
- 26:55Now hetero junction HJT technology is beginning to
- 27:02dominate the solar market. HJT cells are even more
- 27:06efficient than Topcon technology, but they use even
- 27:11more silver about 22 milligrams per Watt.
- 27:15That is almost twice as much as top con, which they're saying
- 27:20uses even more than. So as you can see guys, and this
- 27:25is a, a graph that shows, sorry, well, where's the where's the,
- 27:29what do you call it anyway, that shows the number of cells of
- 27:33each type that are being developed, I think I believe.
- 27:38Oh, here we go, This is this. OK, This triple bonus because of
- 27:43this is crazy statistical. According to a research paper by
- 27:47scientists at the University of South Wales, solar manufacturers
- 27:51will likely require over 20% of the current annual silver supply
- 27:57by 2027. Need I remind you that's 2 1/2
- 28:00years from now. But sit down.
- 28:03It's not time to get your socks knocked off.
- 28:05By 2050, solar panel production will use approximately 85 to 98%
- 28:13of the current global silver reserves.
- 28:16And do they even factor into that right?
- 28:20That investor demand could skyrocket during that period.
- 28:24That other uses of silver could skyrocket during that period in
- 28:29green. Mr. Mahari tells us the silver
- 28:32market is already running significant deficits, with
- 28:34silver demand outstripping supply.
- 28:36The structural deficit in 2020, 384,000,000 oz.
- 28:41While there's still a large silver stock available, market
- 28:45deficits will eventually deplete the reserve of of available
- 28:49metal. We could see a significant
- 28:52supply squeeze in the coming years.
- 28:56Silver is not currently priced for the supply and demand
- 29:00dynamics. I'm going to have a quick drink
- 29:02of water and I'll be right back with you.
- 29:09OK, let's get back. Let's say hello, basement
- 29:12dwellers, all 400 of us on a snap Saturday live stream at
- 29:16noon. Hey, I hope you're doing well.
- 29:18It is a big deal. When you join me here, I want
- 29:21you to think about yourself, right?
- 29:23Because that's what we are, right?
- 29:24It's YouTube. It's a big deal.
- 29:26You're here. Leave a comment in the comment
- 29:29section. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 29:31You can say hello to Susie. Say thank you to the moderators
- 29:34who are here, the people that make the channel possible.
- 29:37Do you remember Coin Shop Chris? Well, he's got his own channel
- 29:40now, so search him up some point as well.
- 29:43I'll put out links in future videos where you can go check
- 29:47out what Coin Shop Chris is up to.
- 29:49He's a lot more coin of centric right now than I am.
- 29:53OK Project Sandman. OK, put on your tinfoil.
- 29:57Do you have any tinfoil? Put on your tinfoil hats.
- 30:01I want to address this, this speculation and I will emphasize
- 30:07that of this project Sandman, some of the other Youtubers are
- 30:13talking about it. I don't, I don't, I don't have
- 30:17strong feelings either way on it.
- 30:19But I'll tell you what people are speculating and I will
- 30:23emphasize speculating. And that is that there's a group
- 30:26of countries that have this plan, OK, conspiracy theorists
- 30:31type stuff here, tinfoil hat plan that on a certain date they
- 30:36may do what's called Project Sandman, which would which would
- 30:41entail kind of taking steps to immediately move off the US
- 30:45dollar. That creates a lot of fear.
- 30:48You know, look, the D dollarization trend in in the
- 30:52big banks, Goldman Sachs, JP, I mean everybody's recognized this
- 30:56is going on. The world is de dollarizing.
- 30:59I'll stick with that. But there are some people that
- 31:01are speculating that there's some countries that could work
- 31:05together to create kind of a shock to the International
- 31:09Monetary system. And that part of this would be
- 31:11this speculation that there could be this speculative plan
- 31:16called Project Sandman. I've not been able to see any,
- 31:21what I would say, credible evidence that that is indeed the
- 31:25case. But as you and I know, pretty
- 31:28much anything is possible out there.
- 31:31So I wanted to address that 'cause I'm getting a lot of
- 31:33questions on my thoughts on the matter.
- 31:35And my thought is I don't know, but I wouldn't rule anything out
- 31:40that could have a major, major impact on the silver price and
- 31:43the gold price, no doubt about it.
- 31:45What about, what about the economy?
- 31:48Remember, remember that economy, that great economy that we're
- 31:51living in? Janet Yellen is confused.
- 31:54Are you confused? Right?
- 31:56Are you confused? Why does it make sense?
- 31:59What do they call that? A, A something gap.
- 32:02I forget the term, right, But it's like a cognitive gap.
- 32:06Like everybody's angry. Everybody's confused because the
- 32:10government keeps telling us how great the economy is.
- 32:13Everything is awesome. Remember Bidenomics?
- 32:16Oh, by the way, they're not talking about Bidenomics
- 32:22anymore. Remember like a year ago, six
- 32:25months ago, our president, not a political show, but our fearless
- 32:29leader, that sharp economist that he is.
- 32:32When he would talk, he would talk about Bidenomics and he
- 32:35would say, it's working, right. Well, they're not talking about
- 32:38it now. They've made a they, they don't,
- 32:40they don't talk about Bionomics anymore because everybody's
- 32:43confused. Let's go take a look at this.
- 32:45What does this tell us about what's happening in the economy?
- 32:49Oh, I almost forgot. Hold on.
- 32:52Silver Academy. Let's ramp up on silver and
- 32:55solar. This is just crazy to think
- 32:57about and really drives home the point that the silver demand
- 33:05from the solar industry is not going anywhere.
- 33:07Solar powers giants are providing more energy than big
- 33:12oil. And he points out our friend
- 33:14John Little Remember solar energy uses a half million
- 33:17ounces of silver per one giga GW silver squeeze 2 dot O 7 Chinese
- 33:24companies, just Chinese companies have a bigger stake in
- 33:28the energy of the 21st century then the giants of the oil
- 33:33industry. When you add up these seven
- 33:36large Chinese solar companies, they have a combined market
- 33:40capitalization of 93 billion exceeding that of 86 billion of
- 33:46Exxon Mobil. I believe Exxon Mobil is the
- 33:49world's biggest oil company. OK this is crazy if think about
- 33:53this. A solar panel sold by Longi,
- 33:58which is the big one of the big manufacturers in 2024 will be
- 34:03generating electricity for decades.
- 34:06Most carry 25 year warranties. That silver is gone.
- 34:11Minimum 2/3 of an ounce per panel right?
- 34:13The newer ones probably closer to 1 oz.
- 34:16The newer newer ones could be. Heck, they could be approaching
- 34:19a 1 1/2 or 2 ounces of silver oil and gas sold this year.
- 34:24Think about this guys. The solar panel makes power for
- 34:2725 years. The oil and gas sold right now
- 34:30this year, however, will almost all be used up in the matter of
- 34:35months. If you look at the long term
- 34:37flow of energy into the global economy that's crystallized with
- 34:43each solar cell produced, it's many times what's being provided
- 34:47by big oil. Does that make sense to you?
- 34:50What that means is yes, solar panels are now are as they're
- 34:55being manufactured, right? Oil is drilled, oil is
- 34:58extracted. It's used immediately.
- 35:00It's gone, right? It's up in smoke literally,
- 35:04right? It's gasoline, diesel fuel,
- 35:05other uses. Whereas the solar panels that
- 35:08are being made coming with 25 year warranties, they continue
- 35:13to feed and build and build and build upon themselves.
- 35:16This story, I think it'll be one of the biggest stories of the
- 35:20coming decade when it comes to silver and gold.
- 35:23Hey, almost 500 people. Hey, let's let's check in with
- 35:26Susie. Susie, how we doing on thumbs
- 35:28UPS? Are we getting to 200 thumbs
- 35:30UPS? Let.
- 35:32Me, see here, I've got a refresh and I'll get back to you.
- 35:35I'm only at 1:55 and I'm going to head on out because I got to
- 35:39make lunch for the girls. So 157 you need 40 more 43.
- 35:44OK. Thank you, Susie.
- 35:46So all right, Susie's motherly duties are calling.
- 35:49All right. Well, anyway, consumer
- 35:51sentiment, let's talk about how great the economy is.
- 35:54This is our latest piece of news on the economy that we got on
- 35:59Friday, I believe it was. And then we're going to look at
- 36:03some crazy data embedded in this.
- 36:06Consumer sentiment hits lowest level in seven months and
- 36:10they're confused. OK, consumer sentiment tumble
- 36:14tumbled in June. Guys, we are heading towards
- 36:18serious economic trouble is the best way I could describe it
- 36:22here in the next five or six months.
- 36:24Do you see it? Do you feel it right?
- 36:27Maybe send me some messages, send me some stories, right?
- 36:31But when I talk to people that are that are in the business of,
- 36:34let's say building expensive in ground pools, one of my great
- 36:38friends, he's telling me it's ground to a halt.
- 36:41OK, When I talk to people that are in the like the home
- 36:44improvement sector, installing new Windows, kitchen remodels,
- 36:49that type of thing, they're talking about things grinding to
- 36:52a halt. I talked to somebody with a
- 36:54really in depth knowledge of the lumber industry, right?
- 36:58And lumber's like a a forward indicator because big companies
- 37:02order lumber way in advance of their building projects.
- 37:05It hasn't completely collapsed, but what he's told me was it
- 37:08feels like like, oh, I got a super chat.
- 37:12Thank you, Susie. I'll get to that in a second.
- 37:14It feels like things are are are are in recession.
- 37:17So I don't care what they say. And now we're getting consumers.
- 37:20So yeah, no joke. Consumers are are down and out.
- 37:23Nobody has nobody unless you're one of the wealthy.
- 37:26Nobody has any money. But what do they say?
- 37:28Mainstream media come despite a largely resilient growth in the
- 37:34US economy is higher prices remain a pain point for
- 37:37Americans. OK, but look at this.
- 37:40Let's just there's consumer sentiment, OK going down it was
- 37:45lower last was that two years ago.
- 37:48I guess that was two years ago. But luck I mean we are we are we
- 37:54we are not too far away from what we hit back in what O 8
- 37:59right. It's not gonna.
- 38:00We've come down a long ways and we've even come down
- 38:04significantly from there, from 80 all the way down to what was
- 38:09that, June of 2466. And This is why.
- 38:13This is why. OK, let me shut this off.
- 38:16Hold on here. Consumer prices, OK, annual
- 38:20inflation rate. All right, look at this, OK, OK.
- 38:24And we're still at 3%. But guys, and this and we don't
- 38:27even believe these numbers, right?
- 38:29But This is why, right? Because prices were, and most
- 38:33people say prices were actually up 1820%.
- 38:37That's quite simply why the consumer doesn't feel good.
- 38:42You want to hear about a real estate crash?
- 38:44All right, let's go to that one. OK.
- 38:46And then we're going to do an update on the general markets.
- 38:49And, and I want to talk to you guys about the gold and silver
- 38:52mining sector because there's some interesting developments
- 38:55going on there as well. Here we go.
- 38:58This is from Fox Business. Listen to this headline.
- 39:02Real estate expert defines the housing market.
- 39:06Doomsday. Something we haven't seen.
- 39:17Let's hear what she had to say. I think, I think the highlights
- 39:20did show up. She's a former Bravo star on
- 39:24$1,000,000 listing. High grossing broker or
- 39:29wrestling with a pessimistic market that's allegedly never
- 39:33been seen before. OK, here, quote.
- 39:37This is something we would actually haven't seen in our
- 39:39lifetime that we can remember. If you think about the last time
- 39:42that we spent a decade with rates that were sub 5%, that was
- 39:47actually the 1950s, Jordan said Tuesday in response to the host,
- 39:52Neil Cabuto, asking how she would define a housing doomsday.
- 39:56They're probably going to be there a little bit longer than
- 39:59we think talking about rates, and we're just going to have to
- 40:03metabolize them, OK? An overwhelming majority of
- 40:07homes in the United States are overvalued as steep mortgage
- 40:13rates and an ongoing housing shortage pushed the price of
- 40:17real estate even higher. I think that that pendulum, do
- 40:21you feel it like in my neighborhood, you know, a year
- 40:24and a half, two years ago, you never even saw for sale sign the
- 40:28how you just heard like, oh, that house sold for, you know,
- 40:31what was 100 or 200,000 more than I thought it was really
- 40:34worth, right? But now we're seeing for sale
- 40:37signs. I'm getting all these alerts.
- 40:39Are you getting them right? I get these e-mail alerts cause
- 40:42at one point I went on Zillow or some real estate website and now
- 40:47they have my e-mail address and they think they can e-mail me
- 40:50twice a day. You get that?
- 40:52Does that annoy you? That annoys me?
- 40:54But none the less, all these alerts like, oh, the house
- 40:58around the corner from you, the prices dropped by $20,000.
- 41:03It's hitting right now. OK.
- 41:05And we got a new report published by Fitch Ratings.
- 41:08Fitch, right? The big ratings agency found
- 41:11that homes were overvalued by over 11% at the end of 2023,
- 41:18right? A trend occurring in about 90%
- 41:21of metro areas. So you know, things are not
- 41:27getting better and I believe that right now.
- 41:31Do you feel it? Do you see it undeniable that
- 41:34the real if the residential this is where This is why we're
- 41:37talking about doom and gloom in the overall economy in the next
- 41:44six months. Because what if right now, what
- 41:47if right now the consumers are out of money check.
- 41:50We got that news right. We know, right?
- 41:52The savings I got charts we looked at yesterday, charts that
- 41:56show that that people aren't can't save any money.
- 41:59People are racking up their credit cards check, right this.
- 42:02How many times do they brag right?
- 42:05And now it's coming back to bite them in the arse that the United
- 42:08States is a consumer based economy.
- 42:11Well, OK, the consumer that the economy is based on doesn't have
- 42:15any money. Who do you?
- 42:18I mean, you know the the consumer doesn't have any money.
- 42:21Maybe you do. Right, Susie and I have always
- 42:23been. I've always saved more than I
- 42:25earned. But the average American is
- 42:28living paycheck to paycheck. So check.
- 42:30That's not good. That's a bad, bad sign.
- 42:33But then what's the number one thing?
- 42:35Americans, I'm sorry. Don't get mad at me for saying
- 42:38this, OK? The value of your house really
- 42:42has very little to do with your wealth, right?
- 42:45But we're taught that as kids. We're taught us Americans,
- 42:51generally speaking, are financially illiterate, right?
- 42:53We're taught to get into debt. We're taught that our house is a
- 42:57great investment. Well, OK, so we'll go with that
- 43:01premise. It's really not.
- 43:02But we'll go with that premise. If though, American suddenly
- 43:06start to think, well, my, I thought my house was worth
- 43:09450,000 now it's only worth 350. What if all that is that hitting
- 43:15yes. What did the Fox News article
- 43:17just tell us right? House prices are overvalued,
- 43:21right? The the real estate market is
- 43:23frozen. the Fed can't lower rates anytime soon.
- 43:26Because guys, we talked about that earlier.
- 43:28If the Fed lowers rates, then inflation really takes off.
- 43:32And, and I forgot this bonus feature.
- 43:36Why they why they're going to have a hard time lowering rates.
- 43:39If the Fed lowers rates, guess what?
- 43:42Nobody's we got all that debt on the US debt clock, 35 trillion
- 43:46in debt, people don't China, India, the world already doesn't
- 43:53Saudi Arabia, they already don't want our debt, right at a time
- 43:57when we need them to need our debt more than ever.
- 44:00And then think about this. What do you think is going to
- 44:04happen if the Fed lowers rates and we go to China and we go to
- 44:09Saudi Arabia and we say, well, you know what, guys?
- 44:12We, we know you didn't want our debt to begin with, but now we
- 44:15really need you to want it. And the rate that we're going to
- 44:18pay you is going to be even lower.
- 44:21They're going to tell us to go # sand, right?
- 44:23I mean, that's the reality of the world that we're living in
- 44:27right now. So again, it all comes back to
- 44:31the Fed is going to have to monetize the debt.
- 44:34That's a fancy way of saying that the Fed is going to be the
- 44:37only source of funding for our government.
- 44:42And how do they do that? They make money out of nothing.
- 44:45Money for nothing, right? That song Chicks for Free, Who
- 44:48is that? The mood?
- 44:49Not The Moody Blues Anyway, you know what I'm saying?
- 44:51Money for nothing, right? They can lose me.
- 44:53But what does that do? That totally destroys the value
- 44:57of the dollar. I'm telling you, this guy is in
- 45:00a box and he's scared, OK? And inflation, no matter how you
- 45:09slice it or dice it, is going up.
- 45:11And inflation is just, it's six or one half dozen.
- 45:13The other is another way of talking about devaluation of the
- 45:18US dollar. And when the dollar, the value
- 45:21of the dollar goes down, right? Whether you're measuring against
- 45:24heads of lettuce or gallons of gasoline or ounces of gold or
- 45:30barrels of oil or ounces of silver, the value of those other
- 45:34real assets, right? Measured in Unicorn fart dust,
- 45:38paper dollars goes through the roof.
- 45:42That's what happens, right? It's happened throughout
- 45:44history, guys. This is not, I know, I
- 45:48understand. I'm the same way.
- 45:50I'm right there with you, right? We've never experienced it.
- 45:54It's called normalcy bias. Some people call it recency
- 45:57bias. Heck, I'm 54 years old.
- 46:00You know, my whole life, this thing has had this magical,
- 46:05beautiful piece of artwork. This paper dollar has had some
- 46:09type of value, right? It's gone down.
- 46:12That should be a big clue, right?
- 46:14When I was, you know, think about when you were 10 years
- 46:17old. This could buy a lot, right?
- 46:20This could this could this a trip to 711 when I was a kid
- 46:24with one of those. How about you, right?
- 46:26You would buy a lot, a soda, a hot dog, maybe a game of what
- 46:30was that called Donkey Kong or Tron or whatever.
- 46:34You know, my mom gave me a dollar.
- 46:36Hey, I was good for a couple hours.
- 46:38What can you get with a buck now at 711?
- 46:41Not a lot. Maybe a piece of cheap bubblegum
- 46:44or something. But so we know what's gonna
- 46:47happen. We know it.
- 46:48We know it, we know it. Let's talk about the general
- 46:50markets. Are you invested in the general
- 46:52markets? Are you invested maybe through a
- 46:54four O 1K whatever, into the general markets?
- 46:57I'm not a financial advisor. I'm not offering financial
- 47:01advice. OK, but but hold on a second
- 47:05here. Uh oh, did we lose you?
- 47:08Are we still live? Let me see if we're still alive.
- 47:12Four games of Tron. Yeah, OK.
- 47:18If you're invested in the general markets, just beware.
- 47:22I'm not giving financial advice. You know me, right?
- 47:26Right. I'd like to buy silver because
- 47:28it's a generational investment. I've never sold an ounce.
- 47:31But nonetheless, I digress. The reality right now, it's
- 47:36absolutely frightening. The general markets, there are
- 47:40three stocks that are basically driving the entire S&P 500, the
- 47:46NASDAQ, OK, Microsoft, NVIDIA. And what's the other one?
- 47:52Microsoft, NVIDIA. Oh my gosh, I can't believe
- 47:55Apple. How could I forget?
- 47:58My kids have Apple phones. I'm not a big fan of Apple, but
- 48:01everybody is OK. Those three stocks are driving
- 48:06the entire market, and that's called very narrow.
- 48:09That's very, very narrow. Times in history when this has
- 48:12been the case have often times been a prelude to big major
- 48:17corrections. The value of these companies,
- 48:20right, is all based on future hope and expectations, right?
- 48:26The actual assets they own are a fraction of the actual price of
- 48:31the of the companies. The mining stocks.
- 48:34Look, I'll talk about the precious metal mining stocks.
- 48:36We have two, two sponsors, 2 stocks that I own.
- 48:39Again, not giving financial advice.
- 48:41First, mining gold, Canadian gold developer with two multi
- 48:45million ounce development stage projects in Canada and Fortuna
- 48:48silver, silver and gold miner with operations in Latin America
- 48:52and West Africa. But it's the whole sector OK,
- 48:56the, the, the actual miners are doing OK ish.
- 49:00But I was looking at Barrick Gold and Newmont Gold, the big
- 49:02ones, the behemoths, they're basically flat for the year.
- 49:06Fortuna has done pretty well over the course of the last,
- 49:09let's say six months or a year. They're performing very well.
- 49:13The development stage companies like First Mining Gold, the
- 49:16exploration companies are in the gutter, guys.
- 49:20The good news is I think across the board, there's a lot of room
- 49:24for improvement in the precious metal mining sector if we even
- 49:28start to get a little bit of more money coming into that
- 49:32sector, because I've observed volume levels have been way
- 49:35down. Just a little more money.
- 49:37I think that could, could, could, could draw a lot of
- 49:40attention because it's just going to take a little bit of
- 49:42money for that sector to make some pretty big volatile moves
- 49:47to the upside. I'm not predicting.
- 49:49Don't make any financial decisions based on what I'm
- 49:52saying. I'm just telling you that it has
- 49:54happened in the past, All right? I personally have a big portion
- 49:58of my net worth invested in precious metal mining stocks.
- 50:01So I believe that there's a real good chance that it could happen
- 50:05in the future. We'll see how it plays out.
- 50:07But the bonus with that happening is that if we do get
- 50:11some renewed interest in the precious metal mining stocks, it
- 50:16will also draw even more attention to the physical
- 50:20metals. And again, it's not going to
- 50:22take a lot of money to get the physical metals to move a lot as
- 50:25well. Hey, thanks for joining me
