- 2:38Speaker 8: Adam Frosch a successful doctor living the dream in sunny Florida.
- 2:42Speaker 7: Doctor Adam Frosch.
- 2:44Speaker 12: He's a very flamboyant, extravagant individual.
- 2:48Speaker 2: He was a pediatrist by trade, and he had a
- 2:53Speaker 2: lot of money she spent.
- 2:55Speaker 12: He loved luxurious cars, trips, He gambled quite frequently, and
- 3:03Speaker 12: he also had a some type of fatuation with exotic dancers.
- 3:08Speaker 6: I believe.
- 3:08Speaker 13: At one point I noticed he had eighty one cars
- 3:11Speaker 13: registered to him.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Eighty one cars, and there.
- 3:14Speaker 7: Was multiple that weren't registered to him that he owned.
- 3:19Speaker 5: You had a very lavish lifestyle.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Depends on who you compare it to. Compared to Donald Trump, No,
- 3:26Speaker 6: if you compare it to Janitor, yes.
- 3:31Speaker 8: While separating from his second wife, Adam traveled to Paris
- 3:34Speaker 8: and met Samara. According to her best friend Jackie Watson,
- 3:38Speaker 8: Samara was a shooting star from Madagascar on the fast
- 3:41Speaker 8: track to fame.
- 3:43Speaker 4: She was a mother. She was a mother in Paris.
- 3:47Speaker 14: She was on her way up before she became a mother.
- 3:49Speaker 14: Samurai always wanted to have a career as a singer,
- 3:52Speaker 14: and she was a good singer.
- 3:53Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I don't know if he saw the videos, but she
- 3:56Speaker 4: was a really good singer. They do not too bad ass.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Then where were you two married?
- 4:03Speaker 6: We first got married in Las Vegas, and then we
- 4:06Speaker 6: had a formal wedding in Madagascar. About six months later.
- 4:11Speaker 8: They had two little girls and they settled into a
- 4:14Speaker 8: swinkie life, into a gated Tallahassee neighborhood.
- 4:17Speaker 11: I think she was a good mom. She seemed very
- 4:20Speaker 11: interested in providing the best life for her children. She
- 4:25Speaker 11: had an interesting way of going about that, which might
- 4:28Speaker 11: be somewhat controversial, But I do think she was a
- 4:31Speaker 11: good mother.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Guy, good moment, a little bit, you like it? Do
- 4:36Speaker 4: you like it? Making a mess?
- 4:39Speaker 13: From everything we can tell, she was very attentive to
- 4:42Speaker 13: the children and wanted the children to be the center
- 4:45Speaker 13: of attention everywhere they went. She would parade the kids
- 4:47Speaker 13: around in very expensive strollers and clothing and tried to
- 4:52Speaker 13: start a clothing line for one of her daughters, and
- 4:54Speaker 13: through a one year birthday party one year old birthday
- 4:57Speaker 13: party for one of the daughters that most be for
- 5:00Speaker 13: wooding through over a wedding.
- 5:01Speaker 14: She was the best mother ever. She was very nutrient.
- 5:05Speaker 14: She loved her girls more than her own life.
- 5:08Speaker 8: Kina look good, mommy, said the good Kina.
- 5:14Speaker 11: She's Their lifestyle was very unorthodox, very flashy, flamboyant type
- 5:20Speaker 11: of way of dressing, the vehicles they rode, in the
- 5:24Speaker 11: way that they furnished their home.
- 5:26Speaker 12: Lots of gold, lots of marble, think over the top
- 5:29Speaker 12: for most people's taste.
- 5:31Speaker 14: Now you had animals, you know from the jungle, stuffed animal,
- 5:36Speaker 14: but the real thing, you know, you have zebra.
- 5:38Speaker 12: We definitely discovered from family and friends of Sammers that.
- 5:42Speaker 2: She was in fact high maintenance. I think she knew that.
- 5:46Speaker 12: Adam could provide a lifestyle something that she was demanding.
- 5:51Speaker 8: But beneath the surface of this life of excess, there
- 5:54Speaker 8: were signs of trouble. The money wasn't just from is
- 5:57Speaker 8: the dietry practice investigator say, there was some dirty money too.
- 6:02Speaker 12: I know there was some investigation from the fads looking
- 6:07Speaker 12: into some of his books, but he emailed a lot
- 6:10Speaker 12: of money for his trade.
- 6:12Speaker 11: I learned that he had multiple extramarital affairs going on
- 6:16Speaker 11: throughout the course of his marriage. I learned that he
- 6:19Speaker 11: was engaged in medicaid fraud to the tune of many
- 6:24Speaker 11: hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 6:27Speaker 5: What kind of relationship than Adam and Sama have?
- 6:30Speaker 7: Everything I can tell is pretty violent.
- 6:35Speaker 5: From physical abuse, vertical.
- 6:37Speaker 13: Abuse, verbal abuse, mental For sure, you know, and Adam
- 6:41Speaker 13: had multiple multiple girlfriends.
- 6:44Speaker 8: He also fathered a child with one of those girlfriends.
- 6:48Speaker 14: That's where I really found out the nightmare that she was.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Living in when Samur and I had fallen out during
- 6:54Speaker 6: our engagement period and had a child with a woman
- 6:58Speaker 6: outside of what long. But it wasn't a plan there,
- 7:01Speaker 6: you know, and we daged first a short period of time.
- 7:04Speaker 8: But Adam's father says there were problems with Samura as well.
- 7:08Speaker 8: In fact, he claims she wasn't a model at all.
- 7:11Speaker 15: Later on we found out that she wasn't really a model,
- 7:17Speaker 15: that this was all fabricated. Adam kind of build it
- 7:21Speaker 15: up with her.
- 7:23Speaker 8: The reported episodes of violence escalated.
- 7:27Speaker 13: He had a very short temper, and when his temper
- 7:32Speaker 13: went out, it was pretty bad.
- 7:34Speaker 10: He could be violent very quick.
- 7:36Speaker 14: Every time that she was confronting him, but is cheating.
- 7:40Speaker 14: You know, he was getting violent because he was feeling trapped.
- 7:42Speaker 14: She was telling me, so he would get very aggressive
- 7:45Speaker 14: with the throw putting back on the bed.
- 7:48Speaker 8: Friends say Samura was terrified of her husband, but doctor Frost.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Claims he was the victim of a violent alcoholic.
- 7:55Speaker 6: She would get sometimes in like a jealous rage or mood.
- 8:00Speaker 6: You know, I wasn't doing anything or flirting or anything,
- 8:02Speaker 6: but she just get in these moods sometimes, specially when
- 8:04Speaker 6: she was drinking.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Were you physically violent to your wife?
- 8:07Speaker 6: Never?
- 8:08Speaker 8: Never, never, not one time. No, But you do admit
- 8:11Speaker 8: there were fights in your household.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Well when if people say fights, it it's like it
- 8:16Speaker 6: wasn't like me returning the aggression, and I try to
- 8:19Speaker 6: con us the baby, I love you, calm down, you know.
- 8:21Speaker 6: And so when people were there, they they didn't understand
- 8:24Speaker 6: her because they didn't love her like I did. And
- 8:27Speaker 6: they would, you know, say, how can you tolerate that?
- 8:29Speaker 10: Or whatever?
- 8:29Speaker 6: But I said, when you love somebody. But i's all
- 8:31Speaker 6: I knew she had a condition, you know, it was
- 8:33Speaker 6: mostly you know, hormonally related.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Adam claims he caught this argument on video while on
- 8:40Speaker 8: family vacation.
- 8:42Speaker 6: I don't want to please no body.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Okay, I'll tell you you put next flame. You're not
- 8:50Speaker 4: staring at them, not all.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Who took that video.
- 8:54Speaker 13: It was almost like it was set up so she
- 8:56Speaker 13: didn't know he was filming it.
- 8:57Speaker 10: To catch her yelling at him. Was very multules.
- 9:00Speaker 2: They were on again, off again.
- 9:02Speaker 5: They were toxic together.
- 9:03Speaker 10: They were toxic.
- 9:04Speaker 13: They would get in an argument and for him to
- 9:07Speaker 13: get her back, he would send photographs of hundreds dollar
- 9:10Speaker 13: bills on the bed and I love you, and that
- 9:14Speaker 13: was what would bring.
- 9:14Speaker 10: Her back to the house.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Up next, Samara is confronted with a sex tape and
- 9:19Speaker 8: you won't believe who stars in.
- 9:22Speaker 5: The lead role.
- 9:23Speaker 6: She got physical and started hitting and.
- 9:25Speaker 8: Was Samara leading a secret life of her own.
- 9:32Speaker 1: This Florida couple had all the money they could want,
- 9:35Speaker 1: but all that wealth couldn't buy them happiness. For more,
- 9:38Speaker 1: let's head back to our Michelle Sagona.
- 9:41Speaker 8: On the surface, Adam and Samara Frosh seemed to have
- 9:44Speaker 8: an enviable life.
- 9:48Speaker 13: They had multiple houses in Tallahassee, houses in Thomasville, houses
- 9:51Speaker 13: all around Southeast.
- 9:53Speaker 14: My first impression when I met Adam Fresh, I actually
- 9:56Speaker 14: like him. What a charisma and he was taking care
- 10:00Speaker 14: you know, his wife and the little girl.
- 10:02Speaker 4: To meet these seems the perfect copper.
- 10:06Speaker 8: They were raising two little girls while residing in the
- 10:09Speaker 8: lap of luxury.
- 10:10Speaker 13: It's one of the premier neighborhoods in Tallahassee. It's very
- 10:14Speaker 13: affluent neighborhood.
- 10:15Speaker 14: She wanted to develop, you know, the girls basically with
- 10:18Speaker 14: social media, reality show, a little movie, whatever she could
- 10:22Speaker 14: do for them.
- 10:23Speaker 8: But for a wealthy doctor who had a taste for strippers, speedboats,
- 10:28Speaker 8: and fast cars, domestic tranquility was a bitter pill to swallow.
- 10:35Speaker 12: I think Adam thought maybe he could have Samra and
- 10:38Speaker 12: the kids and his lifestyle too, and that wasn't the case.
- 10:45Speaker 4: He was totally unfassful.
- 10:47Speaker 12: He had at least three affairs with three separate exog dancers,
- 10:53Speaker 12: two of whom worked at the same club.
- 10:55Speaker 8: But Adam denies these allegations.
- 10:58Speaker 6: Sort of for you faithful to her, yes, I mean,
- 11:01Speaker 6: except for when she filed for divorce. I started dating,
- 11:04Speaker 6: and I dated like three different women during that time.
- 11:07Speaker 8: Samara, a native of Madagascar who spoke French, found herself
- 11:11Speaker 8: with few options.
- 11:13Speaker 12: I think Adam had the capability of holding some things
- 11:16Speaker 12: over Samra in regards to monetary She'd have family in town,
- 11:21Speaker 12: she had limited friends, she spoke limited English.
- 11:25Speaker 2: She wasn't working.
- 11:27Speaker 11: She was very much alone, you know, in this country,
- 11:29Speaker 11: she and her kids, and she didn't understand the system.
- 11:32Speaker 11: She didn't know how to get a lawyer, how to
- 11:35Speaker 11: get custody, and she was completely reliant on him.
- 11:39Speaker 8: The mounting tension led to an altercation that finally got
- 11:43Speaker 8: the attention of police.
- 11:45Speaker 6: And then she got physical and started hitting me. But
- 11:47Speaker 6: I knew even not even put my hands up to
- 11:50Speaker 6: protect myself. And she'd say I tried to, you know,
- 11:52Speaker 6: hit her or something. So I just stayed there and
- 11:53Speaker 6: she almost choked me unconscious.
- 11:56Speaker 15: He'd back away. Never knew anything mild tempered like.
- 12:01Speaker 12: But she had actually been arrested for doynastic violence against Adam.
- 12:07Speaker 5: The police were called, she was charged, but those charges
- 12:10Speaker 5: were dropped.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Yes, why, that's a good question.
- 12:16Speaker 14: He had the cops coming over, pretending that she hurted
- 12:20Speaker 14: him physically, and then he took the kids.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Such a nightmare.
- 12:26Speaker 8: Adam was given temporary custody of the kids. On agonizing
- 12:30Speaker 8: time for Samara.
- 12:32Speaker 14: I know when you took the babies away from her, man,
- 12:35Speaker 14: she she cried and I cried with her.
- 12:38Speaker 4: It was horrible. That's why I don't understand how the cops.
- 12:42Speaker 14: Were giving him the benefit of the doubt when she
- 12:45Speaker 14: was the one who was getting hurt.
- 12:48Speaker 8: While the couple continued they're on again, off again ways,
- 12:52Speaker 8: Samara began to get the upper hand.
- 12:54Speaker 2: She would go in to ams phone.
- 12:56Speaker 12: You know, look up these contacts, and she was very
- 12:59Speaker 12: bold and she would just you know, call, So she.
- 13:02Speaker 8: Was doing her own investigative work correct, trying to figure
- 13:05Speaker 8: out who these women were.
- 13:06Speaker 10: Anything she could. The pages had kind of flipped.
- 13:10Speaker 12: Samra ended up getting custody of the children and the
- 13:14Speaker 12: mirrioral estate and was starting to push back against Adam
- 13:18Speaker 12: because of the multiple affairs that he had had.
- 13:21Speaker 8: What was their relationship like in the days leading up
- 13:24Speaker 8: to Sama's death, back.
- 13:26Speaker 13: And forth they would fight, break and they would make up,
- 13:29Speaker 13: and they would fight and they would make up.
- 13:31Speaker 10: It was progressively getting worse as far as the violence.
- 13:35Speaker 12: She would confide in multiple friends of hers that Adam
- 13:39Speaker 12: had threatened to kill her.
- 13:41Speaker 8: Reports had suggested that she was in fear of her
- 13:43Speaker 8: safety or in fear of you finding out and that
- 13:45Speaker 8: you were going to snap on her.
- 13:46Speaker 6: No, that was never the case. I never threatened her ever,
- 13:49Speaker 6: There's no history of that.
- 13:51Speaker 8: Then a major turning point, Sama receives an extortion offer
- 13:55Speaker 8: from one of Adam's mistresses who offers to sell her
- 13:59Speaker 8: a sex starring the Good Doctor.
- 14:04Speaker 14: And she said it was her husband having sex and
- 14:08Speaker 14: she said, it's so disgusting, Jackie, you're not gonna believe.
- 14:12Speaker 8: This, were you able to verify that story or corroborate
- 14:17Speaker 8: it in any way.
- 14:18Speaker 13: One of the girlfriends during her interview said Sama approached
- 14:23Speaker 13: her about four thousand dollars for a sex tape between
- 14:26Speaker 13: the two.
- 14:27Speaker 8: Then came the night of February twenty second. Samara had
- 14:31Speaker 8: filed for divorce and technically she and Adam were separated,
- 14:35Speaker 8: with Samara in sole possession of the kids and house,
- 14:39Speaker 8: but Adam claims they were in a period of reconciliation,
- 14:43Speaker 8: especially around.
- 14:43Speaker 5: The time of her death. Were you together, Yes, we
- 14:46Speaker 5: were together. No, he was not supposed to go.
- 14:51Speaker 14: To this to go to that house, but she was
- 14:54Speaker 14: still coming nine and day hunting her.
- 14:57Speaker 4: He was hunting her.
- 14:58Speaker 8: The family spent the day out of town. That night
- 15:01Speaker 8: is seen on the surveillance video. Adam stopped in an
- 15:04Speaker 8: auto garage where Samrov picked up her hommer, transferred the
- 15:08Speaker 8: kids' car seats, and headed home.
- 15:11Speaker 5: We can also see her.
- 15:12Speaker 8: Returning to her gated community of Golden Eagle at approximately
- 15:16Speaker 8: eleven PM, followed by Adam and the black suv.
- 15:21Speaker 5: What time did you and Samara.
- 15:22Speaker 6: Go to bed after the base went We went out
- 15:25Speaker 6: in the living room. We were talking and then we
- 15:27Speaker 6: made love and then went to bed approximately one p
- 15:31Speaker 6: one thirty somewhere around that range.
- 15:33Speaker 5: And you had sexwere in the living room.
- 15:37Speaker 8: Yes, so you leave the living room and both of
- 15:39Speaker 8: you go up to the bedroom to sleep.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Correct.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Did both of you argue that night?
- 15:45Speaker 4: No?
- 15:45Speaker 5: Was there an explosive fight of any sort.
- 15:48Speaker 6: No.
- 15:49Speaker 8: The next morning, Adam can be seen leaving with both
- 15:52Speaker 8: kids in tow.
- 15:53Speaker 13: The next movement we can document is at eight o'clock
- 15:57Speaker 13: on the dot, he's pulling out of Golden Eagle.
- 16:00Speaker 5: And then what else? Does he claim?
- 16:02Speaker 13: That she wanted a break from the kids, and that
- 16:05Speaker 13: he was going to take the kids to either Miami
- 16:07Speaker 13: or Panama City, and that she was going to meet
- 16:10Speaker 13: them there after a couple of day break.
- 16:12Speaker 6: A lot of times I'd give her a mama's day
- 16:14Speaker 6: off on the weekends to get her hair done, her
- 16:16Speaker 6: nails done, go get her waxing done, all those things.
- 16:20Speaker 8: Approximately three hours later, Gerald Gardner, the family handyman, can
- 16:24Speaker 8: be seen entering through the gate along with his thirteen
- 16:27Speaker 8: year old son. Minutes later, Gardner makes this horrifying call
- 16:33Speaker 8: to nine one one.
- 16:34Speaker 9: And now I'm my mama, Dad, Can I get off
- 16:37Speaker 9: of sad eye here and go to the negro. It's
- 16:39Speaker 9: a lady laying in the pool in her backyard and
- 16:42Speaker 9: her boom she did?
- 16:44Speaker 11: Okay, all right? Is she laying in the pool, yes,
- 16:48Speaker 11: sam own the laugh.
- 16:50Speaker 9: I just got here to do some work before I
- 16:51Speaker 9: talked to her yesterday. Now now I don't know if
- 16:55Speaker 9: she got some kids. I don't know what the kids are.
- 16:58Speaker 9: I don't know nothing. I just put up as a
- 17:00Speaker 9: played there in the pool. Everything she was landing in
- 17:01Speaker 9: the pool.
- 17:01Speaker 11: Okay, is she awake?
- 17:03Speaker 9: No, ma'am she did it anyway, you can jump in
- 17:06Speaker 9: and get her. Well, ma'am, she been there now, I
- 17:08Speaker 9: know how long she she? She completely go, and I
- 17:10Speaker 9: want you all to contact paces of it before I
- 17:12Speaker 9: take out.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I've got somebody coming.
- 17:14Speaker 9: I just wanted to make sure that you know we
- 17:17Speaker 9: could try and get her help if weika.
- 17:18Speaker 11: But she said she's completely gone.
- 17:21Speaker 9: Yes she did. She drops.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Somebody had to kill Samarra Sandelas found wrapped around a hose.
- 17:28Speaker 8: Did she trip and fall or was there something far
- 17:32Speaker 8: more sinister to blame up? Next, comps turn up the
- 17:36Speaker 8: heap on Adam.
- 17:37Speaker 11: The first thing out of his mouth is gee, I sure,
- 17:39Speaker 11: hope she didn't trip over that hose in those cheap
- 17:42Speaker 11: flip flops and fall in the pool.
- 17:44Speaker 8: But the doctor claims he's being framed.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Well, I know it was plaining. I can prove it.
- 17:56Speaker 8: Samara Frosh, a former model, pop singer and now the
- 18:00Speaker 8: mother of two, is found that the bottom of a
- 18:03Speaker 8: pool by the family handyman.
- 18:06Speaker 12: Joe Gardner had come to the state. He goes into
- 18:11Speaker 12: the screen patio where the pool is and finds a
- 18:15Speaker 12: Samra at the bottom of the pool in the deep end,
- 18:18Speaker 12: laying on her back. He immediately called on one one, Okay,
- 18:22Speaker 12: is she away?
- 18:23Speaker 9: Well, ma'am, she did it.
- 18:26Speaker 8: According to District Attorney Georgia Koppelman, Samra's tumultuous, fond your
- 18:31Speaker 8: marriage to this man, doctor Adam Frosch was finally coming
- 18:35Speaker 8: to a trauge again.
- 18:36Speaker 11: She had to try to find a way to get
- 18:39Speaker 11: away from him, and I think she was working on that,
- 18:41Speaker 11: and I think she was succeeding. And that's that's what
- 18:44Speaker 11: he couldn't tolerate.
- 18:46Speaker 8: But Adam gleamed Samara was alive and well when he
- 18:49Speaker 8: left his kids that morning.
- 18:51Speaker 5: So you put both babies in the car and you
- 18:54Speaker 5: leave and.
- 18:55Speaker 6: I kiss her Goodbiden, you'll catch up these later and said, okay,
- 18:58Speaker 6: you know.
- 19:00Speaker 8: Investigator Jason Newland says that Adam and his girls are
- 19:03Speaker 8: seen later that day on this bank security video where
- 19:06Speaker 8: he withdrew five grand in cash.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Do you know what he was planning to do with
- 19:11Speaker 5: that money?
- 19:12Speaker 10: No?
- 19:13Speaker 7: No, I don't know, but I believe he was preparing
- 19:17Speaker 7: to run.
- 19:18Speaker 8: Adam traveled to his beach home at Panama City, making
- 19:21Speaker 8: several calls to Samro's phone.
- 19:25Speaker 16: He's wanting to get up, okay, said some of Jay
- 19:28Speaker 16: come over and help you with cleaning up, and that
- 19:30Speaker 16: I know you're wanted some time to yourself, but these
- 19:34Speaker 16: favors a lot of work. But make it your get
- 19:37Speaker 16: things sway away in Panawa City and tell me what
- 19:39Speaker 16: did you want to do? Is want some more here?
- 19:41Speaker 16: You just wanted to be by yourself. Let me know.
- 19:43Speaker 16: But I love you. It's all going working out, baby,
- 19:47Speaker 16: I love you.
- 19:48Speaker 13: He left several voicemails on Sammar's phone. Honey, I'm worried
- 19:52Speaker 13: about you. Wake up, you know, call me as your
- 19:55Speaker 13: phone dead? What's going on? Just random voicemails throughout the day.
- 20:00Speaker 16: Sama, pleas on your phone and you know where you're at,
- 20:03Speaker 16: what you're going and doing, and so you're upset, so
- 20:06Speaker 16: let me know.
- 20:07Speaker 8: Going on that afternoon, Adam received a disturbing call from
- 20:12Speaker 8: a friend.
- 20:13Speaker 13: He called Adam to say, Hey, I just got word
- 20:15Speaker 13: from a police buddy of mine that something on is
- 20:18Speaker 13: going out your house and samra is dead in your pool.
- 20:20Speaker 6: He said that he'd heard through a friend of ours
- 20:23Speaker 6: that Sam had drowned in the pool, and I wrote
- 20:27Speaker 6: down and was crying.
- 20:28Speaker 15: They were to get their relationship back together just before
- 20:33Speaker 15: this happened. He was really upset.
- 20:37Speaker 8: According to Detective Anthony Giraldi, police immediately went looking for
- 20:42Speaker 8: doctor Fronch.
- 20:43Speaker 2: We arrested him while he was coming out of his
- 20:45Speaker 2: home in Panama City.
- 20:48Speaker 8: Adam is taken to the station where he's grilled for
- 20:50Speaker 8: several hours, and his story doesn't add up. For example,
- 20:55Speaker 8: here's the exchange about the night before Sama was found dead.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Follow her back home?
- 21:01Speaker 17: Yeah, I followed her to go the 'em before y'all
- 21:04Speaker 17: got there. How did where did y'all stop at the gate?
- 21:08Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 21:08Speaker 12: Where you guys?
- 21:09Speaker 11: Arguing? Then?
- 21:11Speaker 17: Not really did you ever been the door to her car?
- 21:13Speaker 10: I think so?
- 21:14Speaker 6: I don't remember my dad was a I mean ask
- 21:17Speaker 6: her she did might.
- 21:17Speaker 10: Click her or something.
- 21:19Speaker 17: Well, I can tell you that on on the video
- 21:21Speaker 17: it shows you over to the door and her slangle.
- 21:24Speaker 8: Well that might have yeah Toops also wanted to know
- 21:28Speaker 8: where Adam got injured.
- 21:29Speaker 6: How did you say you got the scratch? The baby
- 21:31Speaker 6: was playing roding to ten month O right, M so
- 21:35Speaker 6: you try to make me believe that ten one throw
- 21:37Speaker 6: has nails enough to make that type of scratch.
- 21:39Speaker 10: On your face?
- 21:40Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 21:41Speaker 17: So what happened when y'all get to the house.
- 21:43Speaker 6: She started drinking champagne?
- 21:45Speaker 17: How much did you think she had to drink? I
- 21:48Speaker 17: let's say, plus a couple of bottles of champagne by
- 21:52Speaker 17: yourself and.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Kind of you know, kind of slurring her words of.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Was there any alcohol in Sama's body?
- 22:03Speaker 11: Zero alcohol in her body.
- 22:04Speaker 8: But Adam now says it could have been non alcoholic
- 22:08Speaker 8: champagne that made his wife slur her words. You did
- 22:11Speaker 8: see her drinking something, You're not sure if there was
- 22:14Speaker 8: alcohol in it?
- 22:15Speaker 6: Correct, because it could have been the non alcoholic ones.
- 22:19Speaker 8: Another problem Adam's hasty departure with the kids the next morning.
- 22:23Speaker 6: She just wanted to break If I could give her
- 22:25Speaker 6: a break, from the babies. I can't skid. I didn't
- 22:29Speaker 6: want to water away through health.
- 22:30Speaker 11: It was extremely unusual for him to take the children
- 22:33Speaker 11: anywhere without Samra. It was extremely unusual for those girls
- 22:38Speaker 11: to leave the house. And they're jammys. They were celebrity babies.
- 22:43Speaker 11: They were dressed to the nines every single time they
- 22:45Speaker 11: left the house.
- 22:46Speaker 8: Then there was this curious remark about the crime scene,
- 22:49Speaker 8: which Adam had supposedly not seen.
- 22:52Speaker 6: What do you think, I don't know. I'm worried that
- 22:57Speaker 6: she may have tripped on the water holes, was out
- 23:01Speaker 6: there with the poop or something, or trying to chase
- 23:04Speaker 6: Bell around the pool trash.
- 23:07Speaker 17: I'm gonna be honest with you, That's not what happened.
- 23:10Speaker 17: Me and you both know she wasn't chasing the doll
- 23:13Speaker 17: around the pool trail.
- 23:15Speaker 6: I don't know what happened.
- 23:16Speaker 11: The scene looked stage absolutely. I mean, she didn't die
- 23:19Speaker 11: from an accident. The medical examiner was one hundred percent
- 23:22Speaker 11: on that. So why is there a hose or a
- 23:25Speaker 11: flip flop tucked under it? And then when he's interviewed
- 23:28Speaker 11: by law enforcement, first thing out of his mouth is, gee,
- 23:32Speaker 11: I sure hope she didn't trip over that hose in
- 23:35Speaker 11: those cheap flip flops and fall in the pool. She
- 23:37Speaker 11: doesn't swim. She might have bumped her head. It's like,
- 23:39Speaker 11: give me a break.
- 23:40Speaker 8: In fact, Summer's friend Jackie says she was terrified of
- 23:45Speaker 8: the water.
- 23:46Speaker 14: Samura did not know how to swim. And the reason
- 23:50Speaker 14: why I know that is because we joke. I don't
- 23:52Speaker 14: know how to swim either. When I was present, she
- 23:55Speaker 14: never went around the pool.
- 24:03Speaker 10: You have to swim.
- 24:04Speaker 6: I'll tell you something.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I've been doing this for twenty years, right, He'll set
- 24:09Speaker 1: up here.
- 24:09Speaker 6: And broke down in your own way of crying.
- 24:15Speaker 16: I don't know how many times, and now one tear
- 24:18Speaker 16: has dropped.
- 24:18Speaker 10: Out of your eye.
- 24:20Speaker 6: I've already teared out for six hours year, Sir.
- 24:25Speaker 11: The way the scene was set up, and his statements
- 24:29Speaker 11: about the way the scene was set up was the
- 24:31Speaker 11: nail in the coffin for me.
- 24:35Speaker 8: Up next a shocking accusation with Semara having an affair
- 24:39Speaker 8: of her own Gardner.
- 24:43Speaker 1: We returned with more of today's all new murder mystery,
- 24:46Speaker 1: The Doctor's Wife. Here again is Michelle Sagona.
- 24:51Speaker 8: Semra franch is found dead at the bottom of her
- 24:54Speaker 8: pool at the age of thirty eight. The medical examiner's
- 24:58Speaker 8: report confirms the worst fears.
- 25:00Speaker 5: This was no accident.
- 25:02Speaker 2: It was blood force trauma.
- 25:04Speaker 10: A couple were drowning.
- 25:07Speaker 11: She was hit in the head with some object, a fist,
- 25:11Speaker 11: a golf club, we don't know, fell and cracked her
- 25:15Speaker 11: head on some hard flat surface, possibly the pool deck,
- 25:19Speaker 11: and then, while she was still alive, suffering from massive
- 25:23Speaker 11: head injury, was put into the pool to drown.
- 25:27Speaker 13: Adam said, Sama drank two bottles of champagne that night.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Does that die for the medical examiner's report?
- 25:33Speaker 10: That one bit?
- 25:34Speaker 5: What does the medical examiners?
- 25:35Speaker 10: She had zero alcohol in her system.
- 25:39Speaker 8: Adam also claims that he and Samora were back together
- 25:42Speaker 8: again at the time of her death. Claim the prosecutor
- 25:46Speaker 8: isn't bye.
- 25:47Speaker 11: You really kind of have to look at the big
- 25:49Speaker 11: picture of the relationship and how she really was getting
- 25:54Speaker 11: the upper hand as far as getting possession of the house,
- 25:57Speaker 11: custody of the children, Alamo. The tide had turned, and
- 26:02Speaker 11: I think that was not acceptable to mister Frash.
- 26:07Speaker 8: But in his testimony to police, Adam definitely had another
- 26:10Speaker 8: suspect in mind, Gerald Garner, the handyman who made the
- 26:15Speaker 8: gruesome discovery.
- 26:16Speaker 10: We're not going to tell you everything. We know.
- 26:21Speaker 17: I could see the body as he would happened, or
- 26:23Speaker 17: there's no where Gerald did something, or they got an altercation,
- 26:28Speaker 17: or I don't know.
- 26:29Speaker 6: I wasn't there, so I don't know.
- 26:32Speaker 8: Did you ever look at Gerald as a possible person
- 26:35Speaker 8: of interest because.
- 26:37Speaker 13: You had to, Well, it's natural an investigation, you start
- 26:41Speaker 13: really close.
- 26:42Speaker 10: Who do they know? Who's I mean, he found her?
- 26:44Speaker 5: He found her?
- 26:45Speaker 10: You start first person to find her. What what did
- 26:48Speaker 10: you see? What'd you do? Where have you been?
- 26:50Speaker 8: Adam even suggested that Sama was having an affair with Gerald.
- 26:55Speaker 12: Adam was the type that he believed anybody Samra had
- 27:01Speaker 12: in contact with was having an affair with gone down.
- 27:05Speaker 4: No, was she an affair? No, I don't believe that
- 27:09Speaker 4: at all.
- 27:10Speaker 11: I mean, it's just impossible to believe that someone else
- 27:14Speaker 11: came in and killed this woman.
- 27:16Speaker 8: But Prosecutor Saint Gerald had his own theory as well.
- 27:19Speaker 11: When law enforcement arrived, he told them he did it.
- 27:23Speaker 11: He finally killed her, and he was referring to the defendant,
- 27:26Speaker 11: so he immediately assumed that she'd been murdered by her husband.
- 27:30Speaker 8: As for motive, many believe Adam was worried that a
- 27:33Speaker 8: sex tape featuring him and a girlfriend would give Sama
- 27:37Speaker 8: of valuable ammunition and divorce proceedings.
- 27:41Speaker 13: He provided some information regards to a sex tape that
- 27:45Speaker 13: Sama was trying to buy off of one of his
- 27:47Speaker 13: girlfriends and confronted Adam with this.
- 27:52Speaker 8: You're telling me she was not angry that night because
- 27:54Speaker 8: of a sex tape you made with an ex girlfriend.
- 27:56Speaker 6: No, she'd mentioned that earlier in the week, and she
- 28:01Speaker 6: was saying that they were going to give her her
- 28:04Speaker 6: she had to pay them money to get this or something,
- 28:06Speaker 6: and I was like, you know, I didn't add up.
- 28:10Speaker 14: I believe that Adam Fresh killed Samurra because when that
- 28:16Speaker 14: day she received that DVD, she was so disappointed, hurt,
- 28:21Speaker 14: in rage, and I tried to calm her down that
- 28:25Speaker 14: night and said, Samurai, you got to keep calm. You
- 28:27Speaker 14: cannot get upset with him because he's going to become dangerous,
- 28:30Speaker 14: because he's going to feel like he is corner.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I believe that she could have definitely pushed him too far.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Did you kill your wife?
- 28:39Speaker 4: No?
- 28:40Speaker 5: Was there an explosive fight and you put her in
- 28:43Speaker 5: the pool and tried to cover up something that happened.
- 28:45Speaker 8: No, but the medical examiner also deals a blow to
- 28:50Speaker 8: the DA's case. And what were you able to prove
- 28:55Speaker 8: about Samura's time of death?
- 28:57Speaker 11: Nothing? I mean, we knew she was alive when she
- 29:01Speaker 11: came through the gates and her last phone activity and
- 29:06Speaker 11: that was it. We knew she was killed sometime between
- 29:09Speaker 11: then and eleven. Am. The medical examiner that actually examined
- 29:13Speaker 11: the body in the case, was not able to give
- 29:16Speaker 11: a time of death because of the cold water in
- 29:20Speaker 11: the pool, which affected the decomposition of the body to
- 29:24Speaker 11: the extent that there was just no way to say
- 29:26Speaker 11: when she went in.
- 29:28Speaker 8: And if that weren't enough, a neighbor states that he
- 29:31Speaker 8: saw someone who looked very much like Samara in her
- 29:35Speaker 8: driveway at ten thirty the morning of her death, hours
- 29:39Speaker 8: after Adam had left with the kids.
- 29:41Speaker 13: He is adamant he sees a black female alive in
- 29:44Speaker 13: this driveway because there's never been anybody at this house before.
- 29:48Speaker 13: This is the house with all the cars, and I
- 29:52Speaker 13: just think the neighbors got the wrong day.
- 29:54Speaker 8: Despite these obstacles, Assistant State's Attorney Georgia Kampelman makes her
- 29:59Speaker 8: keys to the grand jury to bring murder charges against
- 30:01Speaker 8: doctor Frosch, and a surprising twist Adam makes a public
- 30:05Speaker 8: plea publishing this letter directly aimed at prosecutors with questions like, quote,
- 30:10Speaker 8: what evidence do you have that I had any reason to.
- 30:14Speaker 5: Kill my wife? Why did you write the letter to
- 30:18Speaker 5: the people of Tallahassee.
- 30:19Speaker 6: Just to explain my innocence? And that and the media
- 30:22Speaker 6: the way they were treating me and exposing all this
- 30:24Speaker 6: negative publicity in that.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Do you think he thought I can talk my way
- 30:29Speaker 5: out of this.
- 30:30Speaker 11: Absolutely, he testified to the grand jury, I think believing
- 30:33Speaker 11: he could talk his way out of it to the
- 30:35Speaker 11: grand jury.
- 30:35Speaker 5: And what did you think about the letter he wrote
- 30:37Speaker 5: to the public.
- 30:40Speaker 11: I came to know that it was in character for him.
- 30:43Speaker 13: I think he thought he could go into the grand
- 30:45Speaker 13: jury and convince him he had nothing to do with it.
- 30:50Speaker 5: He was wrong.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Doctor Frosch is charged with first degree murder. Up next,
- 30:55Speaker 8: a surprise witness takes the stand.
- 30:58Speaker 10: He's a career stitch.
- 31:00Speaker 8: And shocks the courtroom.
- 31:02Speaker 4: They say that mina killer is happened, and he.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Got scared and ran.
- 31:08Speaker 1: A single gem studded black sandal rests in this mansion school.
- 31:12Speaker 1: The aftermath of a crime scene that has left a
- 31:15Speaker 1: millionaire housewife dead and her playboy doctor husband on trial
- 31:19Speaker 1: for killing her. Michelle Sigone has the juris decision and
- 31:23Speaker 1: Adam Frosch's first ever interview about the case.
- 31:27Speaker 8: Nearly three years after the death of Samra Frosch, her husband,
- 31:31Speaker 8: doctor Adam Frosch, stands trial for first degree murder.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Your initial thoughts when this case first came across your desk.
- 31:39Speaker 11: Uh oh crap? I know it's going to be a
- 31:43Speaker 11: challenging case.
- 31:44Speaker 8: Prosecutor Georgia Kompliment faces two major obstacles. The first, no
- 31:49Speaker 8: definitive time of death due to the frigid temperature of
- 31:52Speaker 8: the pool, and the.
- 31:53Speaker 11: First responders that jumped in to fetch the body out
- 31:56Speaker 11: of the water describe the water as being extremely cold.
- 32:00Speaker 11: Temperature was either fifty six or fifty seven degrees when
- 32:02Speaker 11: it was tested later the evening after the homicide.
- 32:06Speaker 8: The defense attorney jumps all over it.
- 32:09Speaker 18: The body is found at eleven am, some three hours
- 32:16Speaker 18: after doctor.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Frousch leaves his residence.
- 32:19Speaker 18: Medical examiner's going to testify.
- 32:21Speaker 6: She found no evidence of rimpling on.
- 32:25Speaker 18: Either the feet or the fingers of the deceased.
- 32:30Speaker 8: The second challenge, a witness who claims he saw simmer
- 32:33Speaker 8: a live hours after Adam left the home.
- 32:36Speaker 5: If a neighbor puts her in that driveway, if it's
- 32:39Speaker 5: not her, then who is it?
- 32:41Speaker 10: Is it the real killer?
- 32:42Speaker 5: But that was a big worry for.
- 32:44Speaker 10: Over two years. It was one that's why the case
- 32:47Speaker 10: wasn't charged.
- 32:49Speaker 18: And when you walked by between ten twenty five and
- 32:52Speaker 18: ten forty five, did you see anybody in the driveway
- 32:56Speaker 18: of that house?
- 32:57Speaker 6: We did it.
- 32:58Speaker 7: I saw a woman African American, tall, dark hair.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Then what did you think when you heard this?
- 33:08Speaker 6: It was somewhat of a relief in the sense that
- 33:11Speaker 6: you know she was alive. I had some evidence to
- 33:14Speaker 6: prove that.
- 33:15Speaker 5: And this neighbor has not changed his story.
- 33:17Speaker 6: Never changed his story.
- 33:18Speaker 5: He believes he saw her outside.
- 33:21Speaker 6: When his teenage daughter. He had his teenage daughter walking
- 33:24Speaker 6: with him too, and she said the same thing.
- 33:25Speaker 10: I just think he's wrong on the wrong day.
- 33:29Speaker 8: You don't believe that there was a woman in that
- 33:31Speaker 8: driveway that could have killed her?
- 33:32Speaker 10: No, not one bit.
- 33:34Speaker 8: Kapelman's first witness, Gerald Gardner, the handyman who found Samaran
- 33:39Speaker 8: and the target of suspicion by Adam Frosch.
- 33:43Speaker 9: At the bottom of the pool like this, she sh
- 33:46Speaker 9: had her arms kind of up, one arms.
- 33:48Speaker 6: Up, another one just laying down the side of it.
- 33:50Speaker 6: It was both a ball like this.
- 33:52Speaker 5: Did you ever think mister Gardner could have done this?
- 33:55Speaker 1: Now?
- 33:55Speaker 11: I didn't.
- 33:56Speaker 8: Then a shocker, the prosecution calls a surprise witness, Dale Foalsome.
- 34:03Speaker 10: Falsom, he's a career snitch.
- 34:05Speaker 13: I mean, I had a hard time convincing myself to
- 34:10Speaker 13: take the word of this guy.
- 34:11Speaker 11: Mister Folsom.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Do you know Adam Frosh?
- 34:14Speaker 2: His mouth?
- 34:14Speaker 5: How do you know, mister Frosh?
- 34:15Speaker 6: He was my.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Salemate for about six or seven months or so.
- 34:18Speaker 8: And got in jail the forty time, convicted felon and
- 34:22Speaker 8: confessed drunk addicts since the age of nine. Fulsom came
- 34:26Speaker 8: with some serious baggage.
- 34:29Speaker 10: In this case.
- 34:29Speaker 13: I went and talked to Dale and he's talking about
- 34:34Speaker 13: things that I knew were accurate.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Was this something he could have read a newspaper?
- 34:40Speaker 10: No, most of it wasn't. Very little of it with
- 34:43Speaker 10: stuff he could have read in a newspaper.
- 34:45Speaker 11: And they got into a physical fight, ma'am, and he said,
- 34:49Speaker 11: what happened He hit her in the head.
- 34:51Speaker 10: The club doll club.
- 34:53Speaker 11: And what happened after he hit her in the head.
- 34:54Speaker 14: With the doll club.
- 34:56Speaker 10: She fell, and then he said he checked.
- 34:58Speaker 19: On a little later and realized what he had and
- 35:00Speaker 19: said he didn't mean the killer he was, you know,
- 35:04Speaker 19: sadly he told me, But they said, didn't mean to killer.
- 35:06Speaker 19: His happened and he got scared and ran and stuff.
- 35:09Speaker 19: Thought in the pool in the ram, why did he
- 35:11Speaker 19: throw the pool? If you know, imaging he did it
- 35:14Speaker 19: out of instinct, but corrupt the I guess when you
- 35:17Speaker 19: commit a crime like that, you want to try to
- 35:19Speaker 19: cover your track.
- 35:20Speaker 10: Stuff.
- 35:21Speaker 8: In case you're wondering. Fulsom received a break on his
- 35:24Speaker 8: sentence for his cooperation.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Did you confide in him?
- 35:27Speaker 10: No?
- 35:27Speaker 8: Did you ever talk to him about any specifics of
- 35:31Speaker 8: your case?
- 35:32Speaker 6: No.
- 35:33Speaker 8: Fulsome also claims Adam asked him to get the golf
- 35:36Speaker 8: club out of his house once Fulsome was out of jail.
- 35:40Speaker 19: The big club like a driver, a big fouling. He
- 35:43Speaker 19: said he would tell me which one. He didn't tell
- 35:45Speaker 19: me exactly that day, he said, he didn't let me
- 35:48Speaker 19: know there was.
- 35:48Speaker 7: A bunch of them there though.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Did you ever talk to him about the golf club?
- 35:51Speaker 6: No? I just told him I was a golfer, you know.
- 35:54Speaker 6: I played golf.
- 35:55Speaker 8: In fact, investigators did find a golf club in the house,
- 35:59Speaker 8: and it even sam Rose DNA on it.
- 36:02Speaker 5: But when the medical examiner.
- 36:03Speaker 8: Takes this stand, the whole golf club story blows up
- 36:07Speaker 8: in the prosecution's face.
- 36:09Speaker 18: He looked at that golf club, and from looking at it,
- 36:12Speaker 18: plus everything else that the autopsy disclosed to you, it's
- 36:17Speaker 18: your opinion that the golf club did not cause those injuries.
- 36:20Speaker 18: Is that correct?
- 36:22Speaker 11: It doesn't appear that it did.
- 36:24Speaker 8: Adam denies this, of course. In fact, he claims that
- 36:28Speaker 8: police and prosecutors planted the club and tried to frame him.
- 36:32Speaker 6: Let me explain the golf club thing. The golf club
- 36:35Speaker 6: thing happened like a year and a half after Sammer's death.
- 36:39Speaker 6: This golf club mysteriously shows up in the house after
- 36:42Speaker 6: my dad had put the house up for sale, cleared
- 36:44Speaker 6: the whole thing out for us. My dad, he's a
- 36:46Speaker 6: golf nut and sports com fanatic, so he would never
- 36:49Speaker 6: have left a golf club in the house like that,
- 36:51Speaker 6: just dinged up against a window. The investigators planted that
- 36:55Speaker 6: golf club, I have proof of that.
- 36:57Speaker 15: Well, wouldn't have been in there because I'm a golfer,
- 36:59Speaker 15: A little been a golf club in ARROWI I had ahead.
- 37:02Speaker 8: The medical examiner says, basically, a golf club did not
- 37:05Speaker 8: kill Sama.
- 37:06Speaker 11: She didn't say that. She said she didn't think it
- 37:08Speaker 11: was a golf club. She can't rule it out either,
- 37:11Speaker 11: but she just felt like the head of the club
- 37:13Speaker 11: would be so hard that it would split the skin
- 37:15Speaker 11: and you would see bleeding, which we didn't have in
- 37:17Speaker 11: this case. She believed the injuries were more consistent with
- 37:20Speaker 11: a fist.
- 37:21Speaker 13: I think they got in a fight over his girlfriends.
- 37:24Speaker 13: I think it escalated quickly, and I think he knocked
- 37:27Speaker 13: her out. And when she's not coming up from this fight,
- 37:32Speaker 13: the last resort was throwing the pool.
- 37:35Speaker 10: Make it look like somebody else did it.
- 37:37Speaker 13: Moves the hose around the pool, flip flops underneath the hose.
- 37:40Speaker 10: There's another flip flop in the pool. Looks like it's
- 37:44Speaker 10: a completely stage scene.
- 37:46Speaker 11: And that's what made it a first degree murder when
- 37:48Speaker 11: he made the decision to put her in the pool
- 37:50Speaker 11: while she was still alive and make the scene look
- 37:54Speaker 11: like an accident.
- 37:55Speaker 5: So it's possible her life could have been saved.
- 37:58Speaker 10: I believe so.
- 38:00Speaker 8: After less than two hours of deliberation, the jury reaches
- 38:03Speaker 8: its verdict.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Santa Florida versus Adam prot with the jury find as
- 38:08Speaker 3: follows as the indictment and defendant is guilty of.
- 38:12Speaker 6: First degree murder.
- 38:13Speaker 3: So say we all have this twenty six day of
- 38:15Speaker 3: January Tiesday Alison seventeen.
- 38:19Speaker 8: The sentencing is just as swift as the verdict.
- 38:23Speaker 6: Santa plays in product.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I do adjudicate you're guilty first degree murder, sending you
- 38:31Speaker 3: to life in prison.
- 38:33Speaker 8: The outcome is long overdue justice for prosecutors. You put
- 38:38Speaker 8: your heart into this. I dim into fighting for samra.
- 38:43Speaker 8: I mean, she doesn't have any family here. You're essentially
- 38:46Speaker 8: the person in her corner.
- 38:48Speaker 5: Yep, I'm average.
- 38:49Speaker 11: That's the way I felt in court, like there's nobody
- 38:52Speaker 11: else here to speak up for her.
- 38:54Speaker 8: Adam will spend the rest of his life behind these walls,
- 38:57Speaker 8: yet he remains defiant in his claims innocence.
- 39:01Speaker 6: And now you know say this. Every one of their
- 39:03Speaker 6: witnesses they put on the stand lied and I can
- 39:05Speaker 6: prove it they've made untruthful statements.
- 39:09Speaker 8: Lost in all this tragedy, perhaps is the result for
- 39:12Speaker 8: two little girls who will now live without either parent.
- 39:18Speaker 5: They've lost both.
- 39:20Speaker 11: They have lost both and that's terrible for them.
- 39:24Speaker 14: I want the girls to know about the mother, that
- 39:29Speaker 14: she was one of the most beautiful human being, and
- 39:34Speaker 14: she has class and love and compassion, and she loved
- 39:38Speaker 14: them very very much.
