- 0:11Speaker 1: Is the GOP reform it.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Tonight a growing scandal and a deceitful prime minister putting
- 0:19Speaker 2: Australians in danger. I'll talk to the Opposunity to leader
- 0:22Speaker 2: Peter Dutton and ask a top Labour strategist what is
- 0:26Speaker 2: going through Anthony Albanezi's mind. Plus incredible examples of medium manipulation.
- 0:32Speaker 2: How Kamala Harris is being sold for watches not such
- 0:35Speaker 2: shameless tricks. Also my tip of the week and the
- 0:38Speaker 2: current of the week too picking on a lollipop man.
- 0:42Speaker 2: But first, keeping Australians safe is deadly serious business. But
- 0:48Speaker 2: what we saw today was the worst of Australian politics.
- 0:52Speaker 2: A disgrace. And I don't even mean that the Prime
- 0:54Speaker 2: Minister today seriously misquoted the head of ASIO, I think
- 0:58Speaker 2: deliberately ten that all Palestinian refugees coming from Gaza get
- 1:03Speaker 2: security checks. I'll get to that because this is important.
- 1:07Speaker 2: But what was truly appalling were the attempts of the
- 1:11Speaker 2: left to shut down this critical debate by just screaming racist.
- 1:16Speaker 2: In this case screaming racist that Opposition leader Peter Dunton
- 1:20Speaker 2: for saying the obvious that the Alberdizi government must stop
- 1:23Speaker 2: taking in Palaestine refugees from terrorists run Gaza until we
- 1:27Speaker 2: can screen them properly. It must stop taking in refugees
- 1:31Speaker 2: that even Asio says are allowed to say they're actually
- 1:34Speaker 2: supporters of the Hamas terrorists grew. Now don't yesterday said
- 1:39Speaker 2: no to all that is now copy discussing screens of
- 1:42Speaker 2: racism like this from Global Warming Independent MP Zalie Stegel.
- 1:48Speaker 3: It's extremely concerning to see the opposition turn up today
- 1:53Speaker 3: with this suspension of standing orders and the words and
- 1:56Speaker 3: the rhetoric that we're hearing here.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Stoppington also got this from the Greens.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Peter Dutton is the leader of the Nasty Party.
- 2:09Speaker 4: It's trumpion, It's despicable.
- 2:13Speaker 2: There was this abuse of Dutton from the Prime Minister.
- 2:17Speaker 5: He sews sphere and he sews division.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Labor m P Josh Burns accused Dutton of wanting to
- 2:24Speaker 2: bring back a race based immigration program which is false,
- 2:28Speaker 2: and Muslim groups like the Australian National Immum's Council accused
- 2:31Speaker 2: Dutton of racism at its finest. The Australian Palistine Ever
- 2:35Speaker 2: Seen Network accused him of stoking racist stereotypes. Now before
- 2:40Speaker 2: I show you how reckless. These attacks are before I
- 2:45Speaker 2: show you the Prome minister has in fact lied to
- 2:48Speaker 2: Parliament about what checks he is doing that racism smere
- 2:53Speaker 2: what race is Dutton is supposed to be insulting Palestinians
- 2:57Speaker 2: if that's a race, and actually want a ban of Palestinians,
- 3:02Speaker 2: not Palestinians from Israel, or from Jordan, or from Lebanon,
- 3:06Speaker 2: or from America or from anywhere else in the world
- 3:09Speaker 2: that has proper records. We can check with officials on
- 3:13Speaker 2: the ground. So where's the racism? And if done this
- 3:17Speaker 2: so racist, why did he let in twelve thousand refugees
- 3:21Speaker 2: from Syria and Iraq when he was immigration minister. Now
- 3:26Speaker 2: what Dobe wants is a temporary ban on taking refugees
- 3:29Speaker 2: from just Gaza after the government and Asio this week
- 3:33Speaker 2: admitted some crucial things. They cannot properly screen the refugees,
- 3:39Speaker 2: they can't interview people in Gaza, and they letting even
- 3:43Speaker 2: people who say they support Hamas as the Azio boss
- 3:47Speaker 2: himself admits.
- 3:49Speaker 3: If it's just rhetorical or support and they don't have
- 3:51Speaker 3: an ideology or support for a violent extream as an ideology,
- 3:54Speaker 3: then that's not a problem.
- 3:57Speaker 2: So the Prime Minister actually lied to Parliament yesterday when
- 4:00Speaker 2: he said, well, he's doing exactly the same checks the
- 4:04Speaker 2: Coalition did on refugees it took from the Middle East
- 4:07Speaker 2: when it was in government.
- 4:09Speaker 6: Yesterday, the Prime Minister said he was running exactly the
- 4:12Speaker 6: same process in granting visas to those in the Gaza
- 4:15Speaker 6: war zone as the previous government did when accepting people
- 4:19Speaker 6: from Syria and Afghanistan. As the Prime Minister knows, that
- 4:22Speaker 6: is not what happened under our government, where people were
- 4:25Speaker 6: removed to third party countries, attended face to face interviews
- 4:29Speaker 6: and some visas took up to twelve months to process.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Will the Prime Minister apologize for misleading the House.
- 4:35Speaker 5: And we take the same advice from the same question,
- 4:38Speaker 5: the same security agencies, even the same security personnel as
- 4:43Speaker 5: the previous government.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Now we have.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Confidence in our security agencies. If those opposite don't have
- 4:48Speaker 5: confidence in those security agencies, they should.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Say so, same as you over not saying checks. In fact,
- 4:56Speaker 2: those Syrian refugees that let in as Immigration misster went
- 4:59Speaker 2: through to security checks before arriving in Australia, including checking
- 5:03Speaker 2: biometric data with security agencies not just here but overseas.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Plus interviews with Australian officials. That's not being done for
- 5:12Speaker 2: the nearly three thousand Palestinis the government has given visas to,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and they're from a territory run by Hamas, where a
- 5:19Speaker 2: Palestinian university poll this year said half supported the Hamas
- 5:23Speaker 2: terist attack last October, when twelve hundred Israelis were slaughtered,
- 5:28Speaker 2: women were raped, men beheaded and even children kidnapped. Now
- 5:33Speaker 2: got even worse from the Prime Minister today. He actually
- 5:37Speaker 2: misquoted that same ASIO boss Might Burgess to imply that
- 5:41Speaker 2: all these refugees were being checked by ASIO, But Burgess
- 5:45Speaker 2: didn't say that. Here's what the AZO chief actually said
- 5:50Speaker 2: on Sunday, that ASIO checked only the Palestinian refugees that
- 5:54Speaker 2: the Immigration Department asked it to birth.
- 5:57Speaker 3: They've been issued a visa, they've gone through the process
- 5:59Speaker 3: of that visa processes where criteria hit, they're referred to
- 6:02Speaker 3: my organization and ASIA does its thing.
- 6:06Speaker 2: But this is how the Prime Minister misquoted the exactly
- 6:09Speaker 2: that passage in Parliament, leaving out the bit in the
- 6:12Speaker 2: middle about being called in only when criteria had been hit,
- 6:17Speaker 2: to fossil implay that all refugees were checked by Asia.
- 6:22Speaker 5: I'll refer to what the Asia Director General himself has said.
- 6:27Speaker 5: If they've been issued a visa, they've gone through the process,
- 6:30Speaker 5: they're referred to my organization and Asia. Does it seem.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Abanis was even reading from a paper. There's no excuse
- 6:41Speaker 2: Peter didn't call them out, but Albanies stillouldn't apologize, which
- 6:45Speaker 2: is an extraordinary breach of protocol.
- 6:48Speaker 7: It's been brought to my attention that the Prime Minister,
- 6:51Speaker 7: in quoting the Direct General of Security earlier, misquoted the
- 6:55Speaker 7: Director General.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I would ask you to invite the Prime Minister to correct,
- 7:00Speaker 1: to correct the requisite is in given. This is the
- 7:02Speaker 1: first of all the opportunity for him to do that.
- 7:04Speaker 5: The layer of the opposition has confirmed the accuracy of
- 7:09Speaker 5: what I've said, what.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I have not done.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Mister Spegers, read out the entire inside this transcript.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Whatever the bottom line, Once again, the security checks on
- 7:23Speaker 2: these Palasini refugees are less than what the Prime Minister
- 7:26Speaker 2: falsely claims. Now, let's have some sense here. What Done
- 7:30Speaker 2: wants is something being done by so many other governments.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Britain won't allow any refugees from Gaza. France has led
- 7:36Speaker 2: in only about two hundred and sixty French nationals, residents
- 7:40Speaker 2: and employees. US President Joe Biden he was wondering a
- 7:44Speaker 2: couple months ago with the letting refugees from Gaza, but
- 7:46Speaker 2: hasn't announced any yet. And the checks that Americans will
- 7:50Speaker 2: do on them are much much more than Alvianeasi's.
- 7:53Speaker 8: In order to pass a number of background checks, they
- 7:56Speaker 8: have to get screened by a variety of different agencies,
- 7:59Speaker 8: run through dozens of government databases. And this is a
- 8:02Speaker 8: lengthy process that can take anywhere from eight months to
- 8:07Speaker 8: two to three years.
- 8:10Speaker 2: In fact, let's compare something else. As of a month
- 8:12Speaker 2: and a half ago, the US had letting only sixteen
- 8:15Speaker 2: refugees from Gaza. Since the October massacre, our government has
- 8:20Speaker 2: given visas to two thousand, nine hundred. Why so many
- 8:25Speaker 2: for the Muslim vote? As usual, the ABC is once
- 8:28Speaker 2: against running a campaign to open our borders. This morning
- 8:32Speaker 2: we found one of those two nine hundred palestins from Gaza.
- 8:35Speaker 2: This government is letting in half already here almost a
- 8:38Speaker 2: Muslim eurosurgeon, and we must take her word for it.
- 8:41Speaker 2: The other two eight hundred and ninety nine are as
- 8:44Speaker 2: safe as she sounds.
- 8:47Speaker 9: In Gaza, there is two million to three hundred people.
- 8:51Speaker 9: Not for all these two million people or are from Hamas.
- 8:56Speaker 9: I'm sure, I am sure that these people who's came
- 9:00Speaker 9: from Gaza, just as me, they want to live in
- 9:08Speaker 9: peace with their children.
- 9:12Speaker 2: They're not all from Hamas. Anthony Albinezi today quoted from
- 9:15Speaker 2: that interview. But no one is denying that most of
- 9:18Speaker 2: these refugees are people wanting peace. That's a red herring.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It's not the issue. The issue is that it only
- 9:27Speaker 2: takes one or two who are radical to cause us
- 9:30Speaker 2: massive harm and that would then put our Muslim community
- 9:34Speaker 2: under even more scrutiny. So if you want to help
- 9:37Speaker 2: Muslims here, you must back proper security tests of refugees.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And you know who gets this, even some of the
- 9:45Speaker 2: people in the very Muslim area of Sydney that our
- 9:47Speaker 2: reporter Julia Bradley interviewed today.
- 9:51Speaker 10: Peter That's comment is absolutely disgusting.
- 9:54Speaker 9: We all human being at the end of the day,
- 9:56Speaker 9: and not all Palestinians are cherist.
- 9:59Speaker 11: I think it's not because they are in like war there.
- 10:03Speaker 11: How come they will check them before they come here.
- 10:07Speaker 11: They or they've been ordered through a lot, so they
- 10:10Speaker 11: need to say they need to allow them to come
- 10:13Speaker 11: in without security.
- 10:15Speaker 12: You need to be very careful when choosing the people's
- 10:17Speaker 12: coming to the enter into the Australia is like the years.
- 10:21Speaker 12: You need to be more careful when choose when entering
- 10:23Speaker 12: the people from the Palestine.
- 10:25Speaker 11: That's good, they got a check, security check, then they're
- 10:28Speaker 11: allowed to bring in there.
- 10:30Speaker 4: It's good.
- 10:31Speaker 10: When I came to Australia, I did the interview. Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 10: of course.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So some do get it even there, property checks, proper
- 10:41Speaker 2: checks of people coming in from Gasa. I mean, how
- 10:43Speaker 2: hard is it? Why doesn't the Albanis the government get
- 10:46Speaker 2: it too? Join me? Is the opposition leader Peterdn't thank
- 10:52Speaker 2: you for your time. You've had the race card played against.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Are you a racist? No?
- 11:00Speaker 7: Of course not complete opposite of a racist. And I
- 11:03Speaker 7: think my track record demonstrates that for many many years
- 11:07Speaker 7: as Immigration Minister, as Home Affairs Minister, I brought in
- 11:11Speaker 7: people on a non discriminatory basis. But they were people
- 11:16Speaker 7: who were I believe, going to do the right thing
- 11:18Speaker 7: by our country. And all I'm advocating for here is
- 11:23Speaker 7: a program, a migration program that's going to work in
- 11:26Speaker 7: our best interests, in our national interest, and I'm not
- 11:29Speaker 7: going to shy away from the Left. Can throw all
- 11:32Speaker 7: sorts of tags and try and distract as they do,
- 11:35Speaker 7: but they can't argue the substance the substantive issue here,
- 11:40Speaker 7: and the Prime Minister can't deny the fact that he's
- 11:43Speaker 7: changed his policy to allow people into our country who
- 11:46Speaker 7: can be sympathizers of a listed terrorist organization.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It's interesting that last point the whole cat was let
- 11:56Speaker 2: out of the bag on Sunday Bobby Asio boat boss
- 12:00Speaker 2: Mark Burgess, who just blurted out, yes, that is what
- 12:03Speaker 2: we're doing. The Prime Minister today refused to deny that
- 12:07Speaker 2: it is what we're doing. He refused to deny that
- 12:10Speaker 2: he wanted this to happen. Is make Burgess on a
- 12:13Speaker 2: frolic of his own. Is this this assessment leading people
- 12:16Speaker 2: who are terrorist HMUs supporters or do you think it
- 12:19Speaker 2: comes from the Prime Minister.
- 12:23Speaker 7: I think Mike Burgess is a first class public servant.
- 12:26Speaker 7: I appointed him when I was Minister for Home Affairs
- 12:28Speaker 7: to be the Director General of ASIO and he serves
- 12:31Speaker 7: his country with great distinction. But he can only act
- 12:34Speaker 7: within the law and within the direction given to him
- 12:36Speaker 7: by the government. The government has taken a policy change
- 12:40Speaker 7: and they've implemented a very radical change.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That is that they will allow people.
- 12:45Speaker 7: In who are sympathizers with a terrorist organization that has
- 12:48Speaker 7: just committed the greatest atrocity against people of Jewish faith
- 12:52Speaker 7: since the Holocaust, where six million people were gassed. That
- 12:55Speaker 7: is a very radical departure never explained to the Australian
- 12:59Speaker 7: public before the last election. And I don't think the
- 13:01Speaker 7: Prime Minister has got the first clue when it comes
- 13:03Speaker 7: to how to make tough decisions and how to make
- 13:05Speaker 7: decisions that are appropriate and right for our country when
- 13:09Speaker 7: it comes to national security.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Well, I tell you what he didn't seem too much
- 13:14Speaker 2: clue about, or maybe it was deliberate, which I'd rather suspect.
- 13:19Speaker 2: The Prime Minister today misquoted that Azo boss make Burgess
- 13:24Speaker 2: to falsely implay that Azio was checking all the Palestinian
- 13:27Speaker 2: refugees coming here. I've shown the grabs of made clear
- 13:31Speaker 2: that there was a deceit here, or at least a misquotation.
- 13:35Speaker 2: And your opinion was that misquoting by an easy of
- 13:38Speaker 2: the Azo Boss accidental or deliberate.
- 13:45Speaker 7: There's no doubt in my mind that it was a
- 13:46Speaker 7: deliberate misquoting because Andrew. Sometimes you can read a quote
- 13:50Speaker 7: from somebody and you can take three out of five sentences,
- 13:54Speaker 7: leave out the first and leave out the last, or
- 13:56Speaker 7: whatever it might be, but you're providing a full quote
- 13:59Speaker 7: and quote of what somebody has said. But what the
- 14:02Speaker 7: PM did here was he read out a sentence but
- 14:05Speaker 7: excluded part of that sentence and he skipped over the
- 14:11Speaker 7: words which gave the qualification that Mike Burgess gave during
- 14:16Speaker 7: his interview on the weekend, And by doing that, the
- 14:21Speaker 7: Prime Minister made Mike Burgess's words look like they were
- 14:24Speaker 7: supporting the position that the Prime Minister gave in question
- 14:28Speaker 7: time yesterday. That is that azo was checking every person
- 14:32Speaker 7: who came through this process.
- 14:34Speaker 1: And I think it was a deliberate step.
- 14:38Speaker 7: It meant that the Prime Minister had an opportunity to
- 14:40Speaker 7: clarify it in Parliament today he refused to do that.
- 14:43Speaker 7: I've never seen somebody in that chair as Prime Minister
- 14:47Speaker 7: be accused of deliberately misleading the Parliament in my twenty
- 14:50Speaker 7: odd years in this Parliament. And it's without precedent that
- 14:54Speaker 7: the Prime Minister of the day wouldn't be standing up
- 14:59Speaker 7: and fiercely defeat his or her position. So I think
- 15:02Speaker 7: the Prime Minister has an open and shutcase against him here,
- 15:05Speaker 7: and it is probably the most serious.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Most serious case.
- 15:09Speaker 7: That you can make against a sitting member of Parliament
- 15:12Speaker 7: is that they've deliberately misled the Parliament. But that is
- 15:14Speaker 7: exactly what the Prime Minister has done.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Well, it was an accident, of course, you straight up
- 15:20Speaker 2: stand up and say look, I'm sorry, blah blah. You know,
- 15:23Speaker 2: it was an accident and all done, but to not
- 15:26Speaker 2: correct the record I found.
- 15:28Speaker 7: But he could have done that today and he just
- 15:30Speaker 7: didn't do it. That's exactly right.
- 15:32Speaker 2: He had two opportunities and he didn't. I know, I know.
- 15:35Speaker 2: So what can you do about it? I mean, he
- 15:38Speaker 2: flaunts all the traditions of Parliament or the unwritten rules.
- 15:44Speaker 2: He just gets away with it. He walks out of
- 15:46Speaker 2: the building whistling, what are you going to do about it?
- 15:50Speaker 7: Well, with the Till candidates now and when you've got
- 15:53Speaker 7: these Green Tills like Zali Stegel and like Manik Ryan
- 15:57Speaker 7: and others, they just sign up to whatever the Labor
- 15:59Speaker 7: Party what's forward. So they have supported the changes to
- 16:03Speaker 7: the standing orders, which means that the Prime Minister didn't
- 16:06Speaker 7: have to stand up and provide an account for his
- 16:09Speaker 7: actions today. And I think as people are realizing now,
- 16:12Speaker 7: a vote for these tials is a vote for Anthony
- 16:15Speaker 7: Alberaneesi and a vote for a minority government. We need
- 16:19Speaker 7: to get our country back on track. We need to
- 16:20Speaker 7: make the decisions necessary in a very precarious period to
- 16:24Speaker 7: keep our country safe. We need to make sure that
- 16:26Speaker 7: we can make the economic decisions that the government's just
- 16:29Speaker 7: not capable of making, so that we can help families
- 16:31Speaker 7: pay their electricity bills, make sure that they can run
- 16:35Speaker 7: their household budgets, make sure that their businesses can remain viable.
- 16:39Speaker 7: This is a Whitlam government and it's slowly destroying and
- 16:41Speaker 7: strangling the Australian economy. And now they're making decisions. I mean,
- 16:45Speaker 7: it's quite remarkable that you had Andrew Giles. Don't forget
- 16:48Speaker 7: he was the minister who was in charge at the time.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Not only did he make the decision to release one
- 16:54Speaker 7: hundred and fifty two people from immigration detention when he
- 16:58Speaker 7: didn't need to, and these people have gone on in
- 16:59Speaker 7: some cases to commit criminal offenses. But now we know
- 17:03Speaker 7: that it's Andrew Giles who bought in thirteen hundred people
- 17:07Speaker 7: from the Gaza area controlled by the listed terrorist organization
- 17:13Speaker 7: hamas he brought them in on tourist visas, and that
- 17:16Speaker 7: there were no face to face interviews with some of
- 17:19Speaker 7: these people. They weren't even asked whether they were have
- 17:22Speaker 7: US sympathizers. So we don't know who's come to our country.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Almost five hundred people have now claimed protection, so we
- 17:31Speaker 7: know what the court system's like in this country. It'd
- 17:32Speaker 7: be like allowing boats to arrive in Australia and then
- 17:36Speaker 7: we can work out whether you're an asylum seeker or not.
- 17:39Speaker 7: We don't do it with boats because once you get
- 17:41Speaker 7: into the court system here, you're likely never to leave,
- 17:45Speaker 7: and so we end up with people becoming Australian citizens,
- 17:48Speaker 7: some of whom I'm sure are first class people, but
- 17:51Speaker 7: others we don't know anything about.
- 17:54Speaker 2: That's extraordinary. The whole thing is just so extraordinary to
- 17:57Speaker 2: me bither. But here you've been accused, it's a very
- 18:02Speaker 2: serious accusation by Muslim groups, by labor, etc. Of raising tensions,
- 18:10Speaker 2: of raising divisions by raising this issue but temporarily saying
- 18:15Speaker 2: we should temporarily ban or refugees from Gaza. And they say, well, look,
- 18:19Speaker 2: you are making all Palestinian suspect. You're stoking up the
- 18:22Speaker 2: tensions you could even cause who knows what from parts
- 18:27Speaker 2: of the community. Do you think that's a fair criticism.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Have you been careful enough with your words?
- 18:35Speaker 7: Well, Andrew, we live in a democracy and we can
- 18:38Speaker 7: express our view. I'm an elected member of Parliament. I'm
- 18:41Speaker 7: a leader of our party, the opposition and the alternate
- 18:44Speaker 7: government for our country. I'm going to hold the government
- 18:47Speaker 7: to account and I'm going to speak up very strongly
- 18:51Speaker 7: for what I.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Believe is in our country's best interests.
- 18:53Speaker 7: When Tony Abbot and I brought people in from Syria,
- 18:56Speaker 7: we didn't bring them in without face to face interviews.
- 19:00Speaker 1: We didn't land them in.
- 19:01Speaker 7: Australia and then decide whether or not they are a
- 19:04Speaker 7: sympathizer with al Qaeda or isol. We took people from
- 19:07Speaker 7: Syria into Jordan, into Oman, into North into North Iraq,
- 19:13Speaker 7: and we conducted interviews. We took biometrics from these people.
- 19:17Speaker 7: We tested it with our Five Eyes partners, including the
- 19:20Speaker 7: United States. Anybody who pinged, anybody who was a suspected
- 19:23Speaker 7: terrorist never came to our country, and we landed those
- 19:28Speaker 7: people here successfully. They've become amazing Australians. How am I racist.
- 19:32Speaker 1: When I did that?
- 19:34Speaker 7: And people were brought in regardless of their religion, regardless
- 19:38Speaker 7: of who they were, but they were escaping persecution and
- 19:42Speaker 7: they are escaping the clutches, particularly for the Yuzdi women
- 19:45Speaker 7: who had been raped.
- 19:46Speaker 1: And tortured by Isel. They escaped and we bought them here.
- 19:52Speaker 7: So I'm just not going to cop a lecture from
- 19:55Speaker 7: hypocrites and I'm not going to be silenced, and I
- 19:58Speaker 7: don't think any Australians should be silenced because you know,
- 20:01Speaker 7: the extreme left in this country, the Greens, and some
- 20:04Speaker 7: extremists within different communities here call you a racist and
- 20:08Speaker 7: therefore you sort of sheepishly go into the background. I'm
- 20:11Speaker 7: not a racist, and I'm not going to be standing
- 20:14Speaker 7: here as a punching bag for people like Zali Stegel
- 20:17Speaker 7: or people with extreme views. Otherwise, Zari Stegel is a
- 20:21Speaker 7: hard Green. She votes with the Labor Party almost every occasion.
- 20:25Speaker 7: And if you vote for Zali Stegel at the election,
- 20:27Speaker 7: you'll get Anthony Albanesi. So let's be very clear about this.
- 20:30Speaker 7: It's not increasing tensions or staking tensions. I actually think
- 20:34Speaker 7: ironically that them calling out people unnecessarily and unrealistically and.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Unjustly as racists. They're actually fueling tensions.
- 20:43Speaker 7: I kept our country safe as Home Affairs Minister and
- 20:46Speaker 7: as the Immigration Minister because.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I enforced the rule of law.
- 20:51Speaker 7: I bought people here in significant numbers who are going
- 20:54Speaker 7: to do the right thing by our country. And I'm
- 20:56Speaker 7: not going to take a morals lecture from Anthony Albanesi
- 20:59Speaker 7: and travelers like the Greens on an issue which is
- 21:03Speaker 7: so important to our country.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Peter Utton, thank you so much for your time.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Thank you, Andrew take care. I thank you.
- 21:12Speaker 2: After the break, we've had a shocking warning. Let the
- 21:14Speaker 2: wrong people into your country and people will suffer. In
- 21:17Speaker 2: this case, it's an eleven year old New South Wales girl.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Now we've seen in Britain what happens when you get
- 21:27Speaker 2: immigration policies wrong. And I don't just mean the ethnic
- 21:29Speaker 2: related riots after the murder of three young dance students
- 21:33Speaker 2: by allegedly the son of Rwandan immigrants, rights after Muslims
- 21:37Speaker 2: were wrongly blamed, riots after a string of assaults and
- 21:40Speaker 2: stabbings by people from immigrant communities that shocked Britain. In
- 21:44Speaker 2: London this week, an Australian girl eleven years old, New
- 21:48Speaker 2: South Wales, stabbed eight times when she was out with
- 21:51Speaker 2: the mother at the popular Les Square, Stabbed allegedly by
- 21:55Speaker 2: a Romanian citizen of no fixed address said to be
- 21:58Speaker 2: mentally unwell. Man was then held down by the way
- 22:02Speaker 2: by a heroic immigrant from Pakistan. Luckily the girl is
- 22:05Speaker 2: now out of hospital, but she will need plastic surgery.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And this comes after other Romanians and Roma people in
- 22:12Speaker 2: Leeds last month also rioted when social welfare workers and
- 22:15Speaker 2: police removed the child deemed at risk. Joined me from
- 22:19Speaker 2: London is Patrick Christie's star presenter at gb News. Patrick,
- 22:22Speaker 2: good to see you. Look this time after this attack,
- 22:25Speaker 2: there were no anti immigrant riots, so there were after
- 22:29Speaker 2: the last attacks obviously, So what's the story here?
- 22:36Speaker 13: Yeah, and it will look. Firstly, I'd just like to
- 22:38Speaker 13: say that that story absolutely broke my heart and I
- 22:41Speaker 13: do wish that girl all the best and it brings
- 22:44Speaker 13: me no joy to be talking about this in an Australian
- 22:46Speaker 13: channel from Britain. I love this country and that is
- 22:49Speaker 13: not a representation of Britain, more unfortunate representation of what
- 22:51Speaker 13: I think our politicians.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Have done to Britain.
- 22:55Speaker 13: There were no riots mainly because now we lock people
- 22:57Speaker 13: up for you know, miss speaking on social media at
- 23:00Speaker 13: the moment, and that is being done to try to
- 23:03Speaker 13: stop people talking out about things like this. We have
- 23:06Speaker 13: three big issues in Britain at the moment, immigration, the
- 23:09Speaker 13: economy and crime, and unfortunately all three of those things
- 23:11Speaker 13: are intrinsically linked.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Just take a look at what.
- 23:14Speaker 13: Allegedly happened in Leicester Square where we've got a homeless
- 23:17Speaker 13: Romanian migrant who did not speak a word of English
- 23:20Speaker 13: allegedly stabs a child. What is that person doing here?
- 23:23Speaker 13: You mentioned the Roma community there up in Leeds. Now
- 23:26Speaker 13: they're dotted around the country. They are known if you
- 23:28Speaker 13: talk to locals there for being on benefits, being in
- 23:31Speaker 13: social housing and unfortunately perpetrating crime as well. If you
- 23:34Speaker 13: look elsewhere across the English Channel. At the moment, we
- 23:38Speaker 13: have reports coming through that we are about to import
- 23:40Speaker 13: both sides of the Sudanese war from the north and
- 23:43Speaker 13: the south of that country who are fighting each other,
- 23:47Speaker 13: and locals on the other side of the channel making
- 23:49Speaker 13: their way to Britain. We also have high levels of
- 23:51Speaker 13: Somali immigration. Now there are figures out which suggests that
- 23:54Speaker 13: the second generation of Somali so people who were born
- 23:57Speaker 13: here are still living in social housing. People have a
- 24:00Speaker 13: right to say, well, hang on a minute. If we
- 24:02Speaker 13: can see a link between low level immigration crime and
- 24:06Speaker 13: us getting poorer, so GDP per capita in Britain is
- 24:11Speaker 13: going down, then people are getting very very angry about that.
- 24:15Speaker 13: We have nine and a half million, nine and a
- 24:17Speaker 13: half million people in Britain at the moment of working
- 24:20Speaker 13: age who are not looking for work. Why well, partly
- 24:24Speaker 13: because the benefits system is so good, but also because
- 24:26Speaker 13: we have very cheap migrant labor driving down wages and
- 24:30Speaker 13: that is a huge problem you mentioned. Yet, why do
- 24:33Speaker 13: we see no riots? Why do we see no process?
- 24:35Speaker 13: I said there that we've got these huge prison sentences
- 24:37Speaker 13: being dished out for things. But you have to ask why.
- 24:40Speaker 13: And I think that our labor government at the moment
- 24:42Speaker 13: knows what's coming and they know that this situation is
- 24:45Speaker 13: going to get worse before it gets better, where people
- 24:48Speaker 13: will feel poorer and less safe as a result of
- 24:51Speaker 13: legal and illegal immigration, and they want to try to
- 24:53Speaker 13: shut that debate out.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Now well, talking about people want to shut up the bits.
- 25:00Speaker 2: There are now quite strict rules et cetera, et cetera.
- 25:03Speaker 2: So out of abundance of caution. I'll say what you
- 25:06Speaker 2: clearly believe and have said in the past before. We're
- 25:09Speaker 2: talking about not all immigrants from these countries. We're talking
- 25:13Speaker 2: about a few. We're talking about statistics as well and
- 25:18Speaker 2: all that. And you know, we were quite frank about
- 25:22Speaker 2: white rioters that went nuts last week and did awful things.
- 25:26Speaker 2: So we're just talking a where the evidence leads us
- 25:30Speaker 2: in our opinion. Now here's the strange thing, Patrick switching gears.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Prince Harry has said many times he cannot bring his
- 25:39Speaker 2: family over to Britain. It's all too dangerous now that
- 25:43Speaker 2: he can't get regular police protection. And on the other hand,
- 25:48Speaker 2: this is a surprising given all that what is said.
- 25:52Speaker 2: He's taking his wife, Mega Markle on an official visit
- 25:55Speaker 2: of all countries to Columbia, South America. Is there some
- 26:00Speaker 2: hypocrisy here?
- 26:04Speaker 13: Yeah, there's massive amounts of hypocrisy. I mean, in light
- 26:06Speaker 13: of what I've just said there, that kind of stuff
- 26:09Speaker 13: would never affect Prince Harry when he's here. The idea
- 26:11Speaker 13: that him and Mega Markle would not be safe on
- 26:13Speaker 13: the streets of Britain is absolutely ludicrous. And the hypocrisy
- 26:17Speaker 13: there is that you won't bring back your family, even
- 26:20Speaker 13: for example, for the funeral of his own uncle which
- 26:22Speaker 13: is taking place shortly. He won't come back to that
- 26:24Speaker 13: because he doesn't feel safe here. But he will take
- 26:27Speaker 13: Megan Markle to the cocaine fueled murder and kidnap.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Hotspot of Bogatar.
- 26:34Speaker 13: They are apparently, while they're they're going to be doing
- 26:36Speaker 13: some good, they are also going to be visiting as
- 26:38Speaker 13: a guest of the Vice President. Might be word noting
- 26:41Speaker 13: that vice President has to take a black Hawk helicopter
- 26:43Speaker 13: to work after a series of bomb threats, so that
- 26:46Speaker 13: all yet again, sounds incredibly safe, doesn't it. But they're
- 26:49Speaker 13: going to be visiting a remote Colombian village apparently, which
- 26:51Speaker 13: is story behind there is that village was founded by slaves,
- 26:55Speaker 13: and that they are at anti colonial et cetera. I
- 26:58Speaker 13: do wonder whether or not they hoping for some kind
- 27:00Speaker 13: of link between, you know, their journey out of the
- 27:03Speaker 13: royal family, finding freedom and all of that. Unfortunately for them,
- 27:07Speaker 13: another prominent Columbian politician has come out and said something
- 27:10Speaker 13: which I think probably best does describe Megan Marko. He
- 27:13Speaker 13: was referring to the Vice President. But Megan might find
- 27:16Speaker 13: that she's got something in common there, which is she's
- 27:19Speaker 13: done nothing. She just virtues signals and plays the victim
- 27:22Speaker 13: and travels everywhere by helicopter. So yes, I think that
- 27:25Speaker 13: they might find they do have more in common with
- 27:27Speaker 13: certain people than they think when they're out there.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yes, well, it's interesting that they're now being limited themselves
- 27:34Speaker 2: out to be used, in fact, for political purposes by
- 27:38Speaker 2: countries that they probably wouldn't have thought of going to
- 27:41Speaker 2: had they're not been offered a you know, sort of
- 27:44Speaker 2: platform and flashing lights. And I noticed they're taking only
- 27:47Speaker 2: one reporter, a sort of poor reporter, a friendly reporter.
- 27:50Speaker 2: So I'm sure the coverage is going to be glowing.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Petrick Christie's thank you so much for your turn. After
- 27:58Speaker 2: the break, the Prime Minister today refuse to deny he
- 28:01Speaker 2: does have a policy to letting Palestinians who have mass supporters.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I know, it's crazy, it's crazy. So I'm going to
- 28:08Speaker 2: talk to a former top laboured chief of staff on
- 28:10Speaker 2: what on earth he thinks anything alban Easy is up to. Now,
- 28:18Speaker 2: there's something about this astonishing story that I just don't
- 28:21Speaker 2: get what is going through the Prime Minister's mind with
- 28:25Speaker 2: the Palestinian refugees from Gaza. Now, okay, you can say
- 28:30Speaker 2: he wants to please a Muslim vote, but what about
- 28:32Speaker 2: the millions of other Australians. What would they think when
- 28:36Speaker 2: alban Easy today refused to even deny that the government
- 28:40Speaker 2: does have a new policy to let in even supporters
- 28:45Speaker 2: of the Hamas terrorist group, a group.
- 28:48Speaker 7: Bank government's policy that sipathy for Hamasi is not grounds
- 28:51Speaker 7: for visa refusal.
- 28:53Speaker 5: Now, what Australians are concerned about at the moment is education.
- 28:57Speaker 5: His health has constably me all those things that those
- 28:59Speaker 5: people opposites have refused to.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Raise this week.
- 29:05Speaker 5: This week, well, they also don't want to see, as
- 29:11Speaker 5: Director General Burgess has warned about, is a social division.
- 29:20Speaker 2: No answer. I mean you're ask him if it's letting
- 29:22Speaker 2: in himas theists and you say, oh, you're just creating
- 29:26Speaker 2: danger if you've even mentioned that, we are, I mean
- 29:28Speaker 2: seriously joining is Cameron Milner formative stuffed the labor leader
- 29:32Speaker 2: Bill Short and our director of g XO Strategies, someone
- 29:35Speaker 2: who does understand labor strategies. Cameron Milner, thanks for your time.
- 29:40Speaker 2: You've worked at the top of the labor machine. Can
- 29:42Speaker 2: you explain what Albany is his strategy is when he
- 29:45Speaker 2: refuses to ban from Australia even terrorist supporters who want
- 29:50Speaker 2: to come here.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Well, Andrew, it's just bizarre, isn't it.
- 29:55Speaker 14: I mean, it's a very strange day in politics when
- 29:57Speaker 14: the simplest thing for Albert to say was no to
- 29:59Speaker 14: that question about supporting Hamas terrorists.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Instead he fudge the answer. It's extraordinary.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's not just him. This has been going
- 30:09Speaker 2: on since Sunday. Not a single labor minister and a
- 30:13Speaker 2: number of being asked about these comments by the ASIO boss.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Not a single one and said, are you crazy? Of course,
- 30:19Speaker 2: we won't let terror supporters come here. Not one. So
- 30:23Speaker 2: it seems to me it must be a policy. Else
- 30:27Speaker 2: why didn't alban easy rule it out? So what must
- 30:30Speaker 2: be going through his mind?
- 30:33Speaker 14: And Andrew it's the arrogance and the hubris at the
- 30:35Speaker 14: heart of the Albanese government. They think they know better,
- 30:38Speaker 14: They think they are better than Middle Australia. They think
- 30:40Speaker 14: they know better than the rest of us who actually
- 30:41Speaker 14: want social cohesion, not terrorists living in our community. It's
- 30:45Speaker 14: extraordinary that they're not secure about the people who coming
- 30:48Speaker 14: from a war torn but lawless area, lawless area of
- 30:51Speaker 14: the world in terms of Gaza and what they're expecting
- 30:54Speaker 14: Hamas Andrew not only their terrorist organization who invaded Israel
- 31:00Speaker 14: and burnt and took children, took hostages, but they fight
- 31:03Speaker 14: a war from hospitals and mosques and schools. This is
- 31:06Speaker 14: what this is what a mass is like. And yet
- 31:08Speaker 14: we're supposed to trust them, trust them that their paperwork
- 31:11Speaker 14: for the gardens who are slipping through the borders are
- 31:13Speaker 14: all okay, it's extraordinary. And nowhere else in the world
- 31:17Speaker 14: is doing this Andrew.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Nowhere else in the world.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Now I know that. And that's the other thing too.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I meant you're quite correct. Look, I don't get it
- 31:26Speaker 2: that maybe you know, maybe they've got a word from
- 31:30Speaker 2: Asio that if you say bad things about her mass
- 31:33Speaker 2: there's going to be troubling with the Muslim community. Well,
- 31:36Speaker 2: in that case, I'm wondering who these trouble makers are
- 31:39Speaker 2: that be offended by saying bad things about terrorist organization
- 31:42Speaker 2: and who let them in. But I'd also then wonder,
- 31:46Speaker 2: you know, if it's just electoral strategy, we're going after
- 31:50Speaker 2: the Muslim vote, how does that make sense when one
- 31:53Speaker 2: way or the other that vote will by and large
- 31:56Speaker 2: come back to Labor through preferences, but Labor will lose
- 32:00Speaker 2: voters in the middle who won't.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Well.
- 32:04Speaker 4: I think about that in two parts, Andrew.
- 32:06Speaker 14: The Muslim vote in certain seats is huge and is
- 32:09Speaker 14: a foundation bedrock for Tony Burke's Electric Jason Clare's Electric
- 32:13Speaker 14: Labor primary is pumped up with Muslim votes, and so
- 32:16Speaker 14: once they leave the Labour Party primary, everything starts to
- 32:19Speaker 14: get in play and the Greens actually not the Liberals.
- 32:21Speaker 14: The Greens are actually a serious threat because the Greens
- 32:23Speaker 14: are even farther to the left than Tony Burke and
- 32:26Speaker 14: Jason Claire on Israel and on Gaza. So the Greens
- 32:28Speaker 14: are actually the threat in those seats. But no, I
- 32:30Speaker 14: think the real risk is that Middle Australia walks from
- 32:32Speaker 14: Albaniese Australia is horrified at the face that we could
- 32:36Speaker 14: have even more domestic terrorism because we've let people in
- 32:40Speaker 14: who are hamas membership holders, as garden refugees. No, I
- 32:44Speaker 14: think in Middle Australia is shocked by what they're hearing,
- 32:47Speaker 14: and shocked also too that the Prime Minister verbaled the
- 32:49Speaker 14: head of Asia today. I mean, Peter Dutton was on
- 32:52Speaker 14: the programme earlier and I think he nailed it, Andrew.
- 32:54Speaker 14: I mean those words were not what Mike Burgess said
- 32:58Speaker 14: and Albo verbaled him in Parliament today.
- 33:02Speaker 2: And if you mislead parliament, you know we've seen we've
- 33:06Speaker 2: seen ministers lose their jobs, particularly under Howd government, for
- 33:10Speaker 2: misleading parliament. It is that serious. But here's the Prime
- 33:14Speaker 2: Minister misleading Parliament, refusing to apologize and just walks out
- 33:19Speaker 2: of the building. I mean, how does this work.
- 33:23Speaker 14: Well, it's the nothing to see Prime minister, but it's
- 33:25Speaker 14: also the premister who says the standard you walk past
- 33:28Speaker 14: is the standard you accept.
- 33:30Speaker 4: So no, in this situation, I mean, seventy five.
- 33:33Speaker 14: Dollars on power bills not delivered, Stage three tax cuts
- 33:36Speaker 14: not kept, the Voice referendum. Oh just trust me on that.
- 33:40Speaker 14: This guy is actually not a great campaigner, Andrew. He's
- 33:42Speaker 14: not a great camp behagner for labor. The labor primary
- 33:45Speaker 14: has been going backwards ever since he got into the job,
- 33:47Speaker 14: and it hasn't improved his personal numbers where he's premise
- 33:49Speaker 14: to your standing.
- 33:50Speaker 4: So I think this guy dries to bluster.
- 33:52Speaker 2: His way through.
- 33:53Speaker 14: I think the guy thinks that we're all not watching
- 33:55Speaker 14: what he's saying, but Australians are deadly concerned about her.
- 33:58Speaker 14: Master terrorists sneaky into Australia as legitimate refugees, which is
- 34:02Speaker 14: why the rest of the world has accepted about three
- 34:05Speaker 14: hundred and fifty people, and we're over three thousand already.
- 34:07Speaker 14: Andrew so ten times as many as the EU, the US.
- 34:12Speaker 4: And those people have already accepted. It's extraordinary.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Look just that figure what you've just said. You know
- 34:20Speaker 2: that we've got ten times more than the EU, and
- 34:22Speaker 2: the American Command of Patasin Refugees says that something really
- 34:28Speaker 2: weird and kooky is going on because we're not even
- 34:31Speaker 2: talking about it. Garza is the other side of the
- 34:35Speaker 2: world from us, right, I mean, why we feel this
- 34:39Speaker 2: obligation and how it helps Garza, by the way, to
- 34:42Speaker 2: be taking in like that neurosurgeon and the engineers just
- 34:45Speaker 2: talking about that we've taken in. How does it help
- 34:47Speaker 2: Garza to take in the most educated and leave them
- 34:50Speaker 2: in the shook like that? Now I wanted to ask
- 34:52Speaker 2: you about Tony Burke. Now turn it Tony Burke, I
- 34:55Speaker 2: think we've discussed the before sees themselves as a future
- 34:58Speaker 2: labor leader. He got a big promotion from alban Easy
- 35:01Speaker 2: to the immigration portfolio the new Home Affairs portfolio just
- 35:06Speaker 2: last month, because the last two people in those jobs
- 35:09Speaker 2: have been disaster as in one in fact, is the
- 35:11Speaker 2: one that handed out all these visus to Palestinians. Now
- 35:14Speaker 2: Tony Burke was seen as the fireman, seen as a
- 35:16Speaker 2: safe pair of hands. This is now blown up in
- 35:19Speaker 2: his face. He doesn't seem to know what to say.
- 35:22Speaker 2: He can't deny that they're bringing in people who are
- 35:26Speaker 2: how mass support is he doesn't deny it. What do
- 35:28Speaker 2: you make of his handling of this?
- 35:31Speaker 14: And he's about to renew thirteen hundred of them who
- 35:33Speaker 14: got here under Giles. He's about to make them Burke's
- 35:36Speaker 14: guards and refugees with no security checks. So you know
- 35:39Speaker 14: his fingers with prints are all over this.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Look.
- 35:41Speaker 14: I wonder whether this isn't a terrible poison. Chalice Albo
- 35:45Speaker 14: knows he's got some leadership problems. He knows he's got
- 35:47Speaker 14: Jim Chalmers breathing down his neck, who is a great
- 35:49Speaker 14: treasurer and will be the next Prime Minister of Australia.
- 35:51Speaker 4: What better way to set up the.
- 35:53Speaker 14: Leadership contest and put Tony Burke there? But mind you,
- 35:56Speaker 14: immigration is a complex issue for Tony Burke, bec he's
- 35:58Speaker 14: his own electorate. Every single decision Burke makes every single
- 36:02Speaker 14: decision because if he puts more gardens, more refugees, more
- 36:05Speaker 14: Muslim refugees in Australia, his vote goes up. If he
- 36:08Speaker 14: denies them, his vote will go down and his seat
- 36:10Speaker 14: will become less safe. That said, Tony Burke is involved
- 36:14Speaker 14: in one thing I must have say tonight, Andrew. The
- 36:17Speaker 14: neighboring seat of Barton, which is Linda Bernie's seat, has
- 36:20Speaker 14: a local former MP, a Muslim local MP, who has
- 36:23Speaker 14: the numbers for the local vote, but Tony Burke doesn't
- 36:26Speaker 14: want him in parliament. He wants his mate Sam Crosby
- 36:28Speaker 14: in Parliament. So it's going to be a stitch up
- 36:30Speaker 14: in Barton because Burke's all find to get the Muslim
- 36:33Speaker 14: vote in Watson, just not allow Muslim to get elected
- 36:35Speaker 14: in Barton.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Can Reraonmeler, thanks for your time. After the break, Americas
- 36:42Speaker 2: media is now pulling off the most amazing fraud to
- 36:44Speaker 2: make Americans choose Kamala Harris as their new president. They're
- 36:47Speaker 2: even covering up for the lawyer who's a running mate,
- 36:50Speaker 2: plus a Karen gets the council to actually stop him
- 36:54Speaker 2: a lollipop man from high favoring the children. And they
- 36:57Speaker 2: don't understand it either. The American media is committing a
- 37:04Speaker 2: giant fraud on voters, is trying to sell Kamala Harris
- 37:07Speaker 2: as someone to make a great president, which is actually
- 37:10Speaker 2: too scared and incompetent to even grant a single press
- 37:13Speaker 2: conference or a single interview to a journalist. For instance,
- 37:17Speaker 2: Time magazine has just done a hero piece on Harris,
- 37:20Speaker 2: the vice president and now the Democrats candidate of November election,
- 37:23Speaker 2: saying where has this Kamala Harris been all along? She's
- 37:27Speaker 2: so great? For years, Democratic officials questioned her political chops,
- 37:31Speaker 2: pundits mocked her word salads, and a polling suggests a
- 37:34Speaker 2: limited appeal. But now well they praise it like that
- 37:37Speaker 2: in the same piece where they actually admit that not
- 37:40Speaker 2: only has Harris not done even one substantive interview or
- 37:43Speaker 2: explained to sudden policy shifts, She's refused to do an
- 37:46Speaker 2: interview for this very story, So how can Time possibly
- 37:49Speaker 2: know she's been transformed? Give you another example, when CBS
- 37:54Speaker 2: report on Donald Trump's new promised to cut the tax
- 37:56Speaker 2: on tips, it was negative think of how much money
- 37:59Speaker 2: this will cost the budget. But when Kamala Harris now
- 38:02Speaker 2: copies Trump's policy, CBS says she is fighting for hospitality workers.
- 38:09Speaker 2: And this puffery, this lack of scrutiny, means Harris just
- 38:12Speaker 2: events and new Harris, who promises to do all sorts
- 38:16Speaker 2: of things as president, she hasn't done in three and
- 38:18Speaker 2: a half years as Bud's vice president.
- 38:21Speaker 15: While our economy is doing well by many measures, prices
- 38:27Speaker 15: for everyday things like groceries are still too high. You
- 38:31Speaker 15: know it, and I know it. You know when I
- 38:33Speaker 15: was Attorney General, I went after price fixing schemes, and
- 38:38Speaker 15: when I am president it will be a day one
- 38:41Speaker 15: priority to fight to bring down prices.
- 38:45Speaker 2: But as vice president, you'll do nothing. She's even running
- 38:48Speaker 2: auts claiming she's always been tough on the borders, when
- 38:50Speaker 2: the reality is that as vice president and Buden's boarded,
- 38:55Speaker 2: she has let in ten millionairelegal immigrants.
- 38:59Speaker 16: Kamala Harris spent decades fighting violent triumph. As a border
- 39:03Speaker 16: state prosecutor, she took on drug cartels and jail gang
- 39:07Speaker 16: members for smuggling weapons and drugs across the border.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Why did Jack joining me? Is Sean Spice, of the
- 39:13Speaker 2: first White House spokesman a President Donald Trump, Sean Spice
- 39:18Speaker 2: is always great to see you. Look the media treatment
- 39:20Speaker 2: of Kamala Harris. What do you make of it?
- 39:25Speaker 17: How much time do you have? I mean, this is unbelievable, Andrew.
- 39:30Speaker 17: They put her on the cover of Time magazine the
- 39:33Speaker 17: other day. It was a beautiful cover, by the way,
- 39:34Speaker 17: absolutely beautiful, and it said her moment and they had
- 39:37Speaker 17: to admit that they hadn't had an interview with her. Now,
- 39:40Speaker 17: think about that. They literally did a cover story on her,
- 39:46Speaker 17: fawning all over her.
- 39:47Speaker 10: Without ever having spoken to her.
- 39:50Speaker 17: They have no idea what her policies are because she
- 39:52Speaker 17: refuses to.
- 39:53Speaker 10: Comment on them.
- 39:54Speaker 17: Her website has a biopage and a donation page. There's
- 39:59Speaker 17: nothing of substant it's there. I mean, look, I'm kind
- 40:02Speaker 17: of jealous, Andrew. I gotta be honest with you. I
- 40:04Speaker 17: keep thinking if I could have gotten away with this,
- 40:07Speaker 17: if Donald Trump could have gotten away with this.
- 40:09Speaker 10: It's fascinating.
- 40:10Speaker 17: I mean, they literally to say that they treat her
- 40:13Speaker 17: with kid gloves, as an insult to kid gloves.
- 40:16Speaker 10: I cannot believe that she did an interview.
- 40:20Speaker 17: Her top spokesman, Michael Tyler today on CNN with a
- 40:24Speaker 17: Jim Acosta frankly that I don't recognize. I'm gonna have
- 40:28Speaker 17: to call him Jimmy Acosta because it was like a
- 40:30Speaker 17: little baby Jim Acosta. And he said, could you promise
- 40:34Speaker 17: to have a a press conference by the end of
- 40:38Speaker 17: the month, And he said, We'll do at least one
- 40:41Speaker 17: interview by the end of the month.
- 40:43Speaker 10: That's it. And they don't care. It is literally unbelievable.
- 40:48Speaker 17: They got caught yesterday, the Harris campaign manipulating Google searches
- 40:53Speaker 17: and changing the headline and the contents of media stories
- 40:58Speaker 17: here in the US, the epitome of fake news and disinformation,
- 41:02Speaker 17: and no one in the media actually cared about it.
- 41:06Speaker 10: I mean, they were literally taking.
- 41:08Speaker 17: Stories from CNN, the Associated Press, Reuters, CBS News, changing
- 41:13Speaker 17: the story and putting it out under those banners of
- 41:16Speaker 17: the news are and not crickets. I've never seen anything
- 41:21Speaker 17: of this in my life. If it wasn't so laughable,
- 41:24Speaker 17: I'd be crying.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Look to me, it's absolutely astonishing. So the best is
- 41:32Speaker 2: so spokesman will give interviews, but the candidate her self
- 41:36Speaker 2: will not. I mean, this is just so bizarre, and
- 41:40Speaker 2: Americans have got to vote for this person to be
- 41:43Speaker 2: their president for four years. And the best spokesman can
- 41:47Speaker 2: do is say, well, we'll give you maybe one interview,
- 41:52Speaker 2: probably to a friendly journalist. One interview, and what would
- 41:55Speaker 2: that make it about the first month and a bit
- 41:58Speaker 2: of her candidacy.
- 41:59Speaker 10: I mean, it's just extraordinandy people. I want your I
- 42:04Speaker 10: want everyone in Australia to understand.
- 42:06Speaker 17: This election day is November fifth, but early voting in
- 42:10Speaker 17: America and a lot of states starts in September.
- 42:13Speaker 10: Their goal is to run the clock out. They don't.
- 42:16Speaker 17: As I said, it's not just that you won't do
- 42:18Speaker 17: an interview. They won't put out a position paper.
- 42:22Speaker 2: You know, it's like an avatar they're putting out there.
- 42:24Speaker 2: There's no real Kamala Harris. It's just an avatar and
- 42:27Speaker 2: a couple of key strokes by some guy in the background,
- 42:29Speaker 2: some wizard of oz, and she'll change you to whatever
- 42:32Speaker 2: shape you want. Look much the same is happening with
- 42:36Speaker 2: the media coverage of Kamala Harris's running mate, Governor Tim Walls,
- 42:39Speaker 2: who's been caught out falsely claiming he went to a
- 42:43Speaker 2: war zone with a National Guard. In fact, he quit
- 42:46Speaker 2: as soon as he heard that they were going to
- 42:48Speaker 2: be deployed to Iraq he quit, and that he reached
- 42:52Speaker 2: the rank of command sergeant major before he retired. Now,
- 42:58Speaker 2: both claims are for he never made the command sergeant major.
- 43:03Speaker 2: He didn't pass any of the exams. But now this
- 43:06Speaker 2: guy is saying people shouldn't detigrate military service. Right now,
- 43:12Speaker 2: it seems to me most of the media is giving
- 43:15Speaker 2: this guy a pass for lying.
- 43:20Speaker 10: And that's the thing.
- 43:20Speaker 17: The way that you just framed it is exactly the point.
- 43:23Speaker 17: There's a difference between attacking someone's service, which nobody has done.
- 43:27Speaker 17: He served twenty four years honorably. He should be thanked
- 43:30Speaker 17: for his service to the country. Now here's the thing.
- 43:33Speaker 17: If these were just baseless attacks, I would say two things. One,
- 43:37Speaker 17: why did the Harris campaign correct both of them? It
- 43:40Speaker 17: quote updated his bio on their website and said he
- 43:43Speaker 17: attained the rank of command sergeant major, he didn't retire
- 43:47Speaker 17: at it. And secondly, it said he misspoke when he
- 43:51Speaker 17: said that he used weapons of war. Right, it's not
- 43:54Speaker 17: us attacking him, he's the one who corrected it. Now,
- 43:58Speaker 17: in our military, if somebody claims to be a Navy
- 44:01Speaker 17: seal and didn't actually go to buds, then that's a lie.
- 44:05Speaker 10: There's a big.
- 44:07Speaker 17: Big difference between denigrating somebody's service and someone who has
- 44:11Speaker 17: served trying to ascribe themselves to attributes or to feats
- 44:16Speaker 17: that they didn't achieve. And that's a big difference. And
- 44:19Speaker 17: that's the thing about how you phrased it. He lied
- 44:22Speaker 17: about his record and what they're trying to do with
- 44:25Speaker 17: the media's help. Mind you, if say, oh, you're attacking
- 44:29Speaker 17: his service.
- 44:30Speaker 2: It's just unbelievable. They're walking through the fires with some
- 44:34Speaker 2: sort of mystical protection all around them thanks to the media.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I mean, it's just absolutely bizarre what I'm saying. But
- 44:42Speaker 2: just to finish up there sean Unfortunately for the Republicans,
- 44:47Speaker 2: it seems to be working in the polls or haven't
- 44:50Speaker 2: got that wrong, because I did see the pulse of
- 44:52Speaker 2: Frank Lunz point out that in his poll he had
- 44:55Speaker 2: never seen so much Republican as a support from you
- 45:00Speaker 2: members for Donald Trump. And yet the poll suggests that
- 45:04Speaker 2: Kamala Harris is ahead in now a number of swing
- 45:08Speaker 2: sites that she needs to win to become president.
- 45:11Speaker 17: There's no question that the race has tightened. Like once
- 45:14Speaker 17: you get rid of Joe Biden. They were willing to
- 45:16Speaker 17: take a doorknob. To be honest with you, it was
- 45:18Speaker 17: anybody but Biden they.
- 45:19Speaker 10: Were happy with.
- 45:20Speaker 17: Remember this woman, Kamala Harris was rated the most unpopular
- 45:25Speaker 17: vice president in US history thirty days ago. Suddenly she's
- 45:29Speaker 17: the most popular person. It's not a question of them
- 45:33Speaker 17: loving her. I think it was just anybody but Biden
- 45:36Speaker 17: is what it came down to. That being said, I mean, look,
- 45:39Speaker 17: the polls have tightened, and I think that the Trump
- 45:41Speaker 17: campaign has to do two things.
- 45:43Speaker 10: Number One, focus on the issues and policies.
- 45:46Speaker 17: The name calling, and I think I've said this to
- 45:48Speaker 17: you before, is like yelling at the referees in the
- 45:50Speaker 17: middle of a game.
- 45:51Speaker 10: It's not going to change the outcome. Play the game.
- 45:54Speaker 10: The score at the end is all that matters. And
- 45:56Speaker 10: the Trump record beats her record every day of the week.
- 46:00Speaker 17: His policies are more popular, his record is better, and
- 46:03Speaker 17: that's what they should focus on because those key voters
- 46:06Speaker 17: in those key battle ground states, that's what they focus on, right,
- 46:09Speaker 17: So he's got to stay focused on that. And number two,
- 46:13Speaker 17: this is all going to come down to ground game.
- 46:15Speaker 17: Who can get their voters out in those key swing states.
- 46:18Speaker 17: Once early voting starts and bank those votes, right, that's
- 46:22Speaker 17: what it counts with. A poll tells you real quickly,
- 46:25Speaker 17: a snapshot of where the electorate is.
- 46:27Speaker 10: But then you got to get your voters out.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Well. I don't know the enthusiasm for Kamala Harris. I
- 46:34Speaker 2: wonder whether it's a media creation or real, because that
- 46:38Speaker 2: will be critical to getting out of the vote. We
- 46:41Speaker 2: shall see. It's still several months ago. It all lies
- 46:45Speaker 2: into whether it's fake or real, this enthusiasm for Kamala Harris.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your time, Sean.
- 46:51Speaker 10: Spicer, as always, Andrew, thank you.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Now to take it from me now before I get
- 46:57Speaker 2: too much. Yip of the week, take a look at
- 46:59Speaker 2: this mad store of our times. It's a local council
- 47:02Speaker 2: banning a crossing supervisor in Melbourne from high fiving children.
- 47:08Speaker 18: Parents and teachers have rallied around a Victorian crossing supervisor
- 47:12Speaker 18: after he was banned from high fiving students. John Goulden
- 47:16Speaker 18: has worked at Mount Dandenon Primary for six years and
- 47:19Speaker 18: now he can't give out his signature greeting.
- 47:22Speaker 12: He's always high five do us from like prepped all
- 47:24Speaker 12: the way to grade six and now that he can't.
- 47:26Speaker 17: It's kind of like Helloa, he's really nice, he'll always smile.
- 47:32Speaker 1: It's wrong, like happened High five Speed banned.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Wisdom from the kids, but the council thinks it's unsafe
- 47:39Speaker 2: for that guard to initiate unnecessary physical contact with the children.
- 47:44Speaker 2: And that's based on one single complaint from a single parent.
- 47:47Speaker 2: It must be a real Karen I mean, luckily, a
- 47:49Speaker 2: petition against this bandit so far had twelve hundred signatures.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Now my book of the week when I started the
- 47:56Speaker 2: show by showing you people playing the race card against
- 48:00Speaker 2: Peter Dutton, the best novel about race hustlers. People are
- 48:08Speaker 2: so cynical playing the race card like today is in fact,
- 48:12Speaker 2: as you probably guess, Bonfire of the Vanities by the
- 48:15Speaker 2: late and very great Tom Wolfe. Now he was about
- 48:20Speaker 2: the first one to really call out this race game
- 48:23Speaker 2: in a novel. It's brave, it's funny. It's also very
- 48:25Speaker 2: scary because he wrote this thirty seven years ago, and
- 48:28Speaker 2: that whole race hustle, that whole race industry, well, it's
- 48:33Speaker 2: only got worse, particularly here film the book Shocking Me Bad.
- 48:36Speaker 2: This book is a must read. As always, go to
- 48:38Speaker 2: the website of Robinson's Books. Click on my name at
- 48:41Speaker 2: the top left go to all my recommendations so far.
- 48:43Speaker 2: That's it from me coming up now. I'm Sherry Markson
