- 0:08Speaker 1: they all went row whist So, yeah, it's too bad,
- 0:11Speaker 1: But what did you expect? It's a podcast called twenty
- 0:15Speaker 1: five whistline.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Everybody, welcome to the show.
- 0:20Speaker 3: If you want to go watch the Spurs and Knicks
- 0:23Speaker 3: in New York, it's gonna cost you minimally.
- 0:25Speaker 2: About seven thousand dollars.
- 0:27Speaker 3: That's crazy, and prices have gone up since the initial
- 0:31Speaker 3: price listing.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Listen to Knicks.
- 0:34Speaker 3: They haven't won the whole thing in fifty years. They
- 0:36Speaker 3: haven't been since the nineties, and so that place is
- 0:40Speaker 3: more excited than San Antonio.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Is you ever been in the garden? Yeah?
- 0:43Speaker 3: I sat front rope Joel Unbeid fell on me, talked
- 0:47Speaker 3: about this on the show.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Hold on, Why did I block this from my mind?
- 0:50Speaker 4: You sat courtside at a Knicks game? I sent celebrity
- 0:54Speaker 4: row What on earth? That's crazy?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Okay?
- 0:58Speaker 4: I do remember this story, but I how I guess
- 1:00Speaker 4: I did. I didn't think it was that Madison Square Garden. Dude.
- 1:03Speaker 2: That is crazy, that is and fell on me once.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I mean, that's a one percenter right there. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I've never seen a human that big, and he laid
- 1:12Speaker 3: up he like fell on me, and I was like,
- 1:14Speaker 3: this is why old did fall on your lap? That
- 1:17Speaker 3: kind of side hip thing like fell on Yeah, it's
- 1:19Speaker 3: pretty crazy. And they even showed me on the jump.
- 1:22Speaker 3: They must had no celebrities there that night. I'm talking
- 1:25Speaker 3: bottom of the barrel because I'm on and they do
- 1:28Speaker 3: the jumbo tron and they showed me up there celebrity
- 1:30Speaker 3: row bottle was is that place big? Then I went
- 1:32Speaker 3: on the court and shot afterward, what are you talk?
- 1:35Speaker 2: I don't think you got this full story?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Then, yeah, how did you get how did you get
- 1:39Speaker 3: all this being famous?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Man pays Yeah, dude, I'm so curious seriously on this
- 1:45Speaker 4: on that point how it all goes down, because like,
- 1:48Speaker 4: how do they tell a celebrity like, hey, I want
- 1:50Speaker 4: you to.
- 1:50Speaker 3: By the way, I don't think I'm famous. I understand
- 1:52Speaker 3: for everybody if you're watching or listening to this, that
- 1:54Speaker 3: was so much a joke that I just thought everybody
- 1:56Speaker 3: would think that was a joke.
- 1:57Speaker 4: But I always wonder like how they place celebrities down there, how.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It worked for me?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Was on up there for work for two days. I
- 2:05Speaker 3: had an evening off. I'd never been to Madison Square
- 2:09Speaker 3: Garden or next game. Heck, I think I'd only ever
- 2:11Speaker 3: been to one NBA game, which is the game that
- 2:13Speaker 3: I went with with you. Your dad had season tickets
- 2:17Speaker 3: and so said, Hey, the Knicks are in town. Do
- 2:21Speaker 3: you want us to call and see if we can
- 2:23Speaker 3: get you tickets? And I was like sure. So like
- 2:25Speaker 3: my my management calls up and they were like yeah,
- 2:28Speaker 3: and they'll have some good seats for you. And they
- 2:30Speaker 3: didn't say anything about where it was. I'm by myself
- 2:33Speaker 3: and I get there and I'm on celebrity row. I'm
- 2:37Speaker 3: on I'm courtside, and I was just thinking I wish
- 2:39Speaker 3: I had friends, Like it was just you only asked
- 2:42Speaker 3: for one ticket.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Hey, that is crazy.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So I sat there.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Did I not know you? Then?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Oh?
- 2:49Speaker 4: You did?
- 2:50Speaker 3: But I was in New York working text.
- 2:54Speaker 5: I missed Courtside Nicks.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I didn't know until I was up there. I was
- 3:00Speaker 3: up there and working for a day and then they said, hey,
- 3:04Speaker 3: the Necks are in Talent. I was just trying to
- 3:05Speaker 3: find something to do and so I went.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Oh, they hooked it up so hard.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I sat on the front row on the jumbo tron.
- 3:13Speaker 3: At halftime, they said, you can go back into and
- 3:15Speaker 3: I forget what they called the room, and there was
- 3:17Speaker 3: all this food and so I was eating next to
- 3:20Speaker 3: Meek Mill.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Because Philadelphia was playing.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and the woman from Grey's Anatomy who played Mayer
- 3:26Speaker 3: to the Gray.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know that is rue. Yeah, but whoever
- 3:30Speaker 4: that was famous?
- 3:31Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever her name is.
- 3:32Speaker 4: And then when does the bill come? Like, do you guys?
- 3:34Speaker 3: I paid nothing?
- 3:36Speaker 4: That is crazy. That's crazy, dude, Like that is a
- 3:40Speaker 4: once in a lifetime story. Is wild.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I don't even think about it because it had And
- 3:45Speaker 3: then at the end they were like, you can go
- 3:46Speaker 3: shoot balls if you want, as everybody was leaving the court.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I'm sure I have pictures of me on the court
- 3:52Speaker 3: shooting in Madison's Court.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Garden by yourself. Though. Do you give the phone to someone?
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, the guy that was like my handler, I was shoot,
- 4:00Speaker 3: they gave me, dude, this is all coming back to
- 4:02Speaker 3: me now. They gave me like a four hund dollar
- 4:05Speaker 3: Knicks jacket to wear to keep.
- 4:08Speaker 4: And you still have.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I'm sure it's on in these pictures if I have
- 4:12Speaker 3: on my phone. End up giving it to Kevin Lagrett,
- 4:13Speaker 3: who's a big Knicks fan who worked with us.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Is it like a big leather one, like kind of like.
- 4:19Speaker 4: That's awesome, that's really cool.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Let's see if I have let me look at my
- 4:21Speaker 3: pictures here.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Waltz was down there with you? Was there anybody Spike Lee?
- 4:26Speaker 3: I feel like it's from the Jefferson's or something like.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I just think they were really Jefferson.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I feel like they're really Sherman Hemsley.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 4:41Speaker 3: When I type in Nicks, it just brings up me
- 4:43Speaker 3: playing NBA two k.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait, wait, wait, what is this story?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Then? Yeah, I'd have to find them at a different
- 4:53Speaker 3: point because I don't want to bore everybody. But it
- 4:55Speaker 3: was a it was a wild trip that wasn't even
- 4:58Speaker 3: happening until that day. And my theory is they had
- 5:02Speaker 3: no celebrities and they thought, well, we'll allow it. We
- 5:05Speaker 3: need somebody to show on the jumbo tron. And my
- 5:08Speaker 3: TV crep was definitely popping a little more then than now,
- 5:11Speaker 3: so it makes a little bit of sense. But there
- 5:13Speaker 3: have been times where the same situation has happened and
- 5:17Speaker 3: they've said yes, only because they had no idea who
- 5:19Speaker 3: I was, and they just think that, well, we don't
- 5:21Speaker 3: know every celebrity they must be famous.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Yeah, we were.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I think Mike d was with me. We were in
- 5:28Speaker 3: Los Angeles, but we were. We went to Nobu in
- 5:33Speaker 3: what we went? We went to Nobo what twent it
- 5:37Speaker 3: was a Malibu.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, it's like a celebrity hotspot.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Big time paparazzi loaded in the front.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 5:46Speaker 3: There's no way we can get into Nobu Malibu on
- 5:49Speaker 3: a Friday or Saturday night. That's the end of the sentence.
- 5:54Speaker 4: There's no way.
- 5:54Speaker 3: So we're out there shooting American Idol and tom My
- 5:58Speaker 3: manager was like, let's just try pride to sift to
- 6:00Speaker 3: let us in. I'll just say you're working on American Idol.
- 6:03Speaker 3: And so he calls them and he says, hey, I
- 6:05Speaker 3: got Bobby Bones with me, who's from American Idol. He's
- 6:07Speaker 3: in town. We really want to get a table as possible.
- 6:10Speaker 3: They put them on hold for like seven minutes. I
- 6:13Speaker 3: think they have all.
- 6:14Speaker 4: The machines going try to figure out Instagram followers.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And they come back and they say, yeah, we can
- 6:21Speaker 3: have you guys at the table. And they put us
- 6:24Speaker 3: over the beach outside, over the beach.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Hold on. But what was it? What was it like
- 6:31Speaker 4: pulling up to the place.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I'm glad you asked.
- 6:33Speaker 3: So we pull up, we don't have what a typical
- 6:38Speaker 3: celebrity would have when they pull up into a place
- 6:40Speaker 3: like that, some sort of fancy exotic car, expensive car,
- 6:44Speaker 3: expensive suv. We have, uh, like a Dodge caravan because.
- 6:54Speaker 2: What we did.
- 6:56Speaker 3: And so as we're pulling up, there's probably eleven different
- 7:00Speaker 3: paparazzi that just wait out there as we're pulling up.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Before you even get out, they put all their cameras
- 7:06Speaker 3: down because that van was pulling up, and so they
- 7:08Speaker 3: just thought it was like somebody dropping off.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 7:11Speaker 3: And so we all get out of the van. Paparazzis
- 7:12Speaker 3: like over there smoking.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Not that I deserve to.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Have cameras on me, but I was going into it's
- 7:17Speaker 3: his dad getting dropped.
- 7:18Speaker 4: There, like definitely not a CELEBN.
- 7:20Speaker 3: So yeah, that was a situation. Wow, we got that
- 7:23Speaker 3: because the flex which is that was pretty cool. But
- 7:26Speaker 3: that flex was they didn't know who I was, so
- 7:28Speaker 3: they just assumed they didn't know all celebrities.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 4: That's what's up. That's interesting to like just give that
- 7:37Speaker 4: a shot. What I don't know, just.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Like just act like you know, or.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Producer Eddie you may know him from the Bobby Bone Show,
- 7:44Speaker 4: twenty five Whistles podcast.
- 7:47Speaker 3: More than producer.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Ready, Oh really yeah, I'd be like Eddie.
- 7:54Speaker 2: So yeah, I did that.
- 7:55Speaker 3: It was fun, it was great. I just the only
- 7:59Speaker 3: time that is ever a flex or an ask as
- 8:02Speaker 3: if I'm in another city and someone does it for me.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I never do it at home because it just hurts
- 8:08Speaker 3: my feelings when they say no.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Yeah, they put you on hold forever.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Or they're just like nah, we're good, No, we're all
- 8:17Speaker 3: tapped out.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Dude, what's the garden?
- 8:19Speaker 5: Light?
- 8:19Speaker 4: Like, I've never even stepped foot. I've been dropped off,
- 8:22Speaker 4: like get off the subway and I'm like, oh cool,
- 8:25Speaker 4: there's the garden, but I haven't look. What's it?
- 8:27Speaker 1: Is?
- 8:27Speaker 3: It a big, the honest answer from somebody who really
- 8:31Speaker 3: didn't appreciate it other than just hearing about it. It's
- 8:35Speaker 3: just another arena. Okay, it's fine, it's cool. It's old,
- 8:38Speaker 3: so old.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't go into it. There's no
- 8:41Speaker 2: build up.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Yeah, you didn't know you were going.
- 8:43Speaker 3: No, it was just huh, all right, and we kept
- 8:47Speaker 3: walking forward and there's the seats.
- 8:49Speaker 4: That's crazy, man. So that's a cool story.
- 8:51Speaker 2: That's what's up.
- 8:53Speaker 4: So my brother is in New York this weekend and
- 8:56Speaker 4: I told them, like, dude, you shouldn't. I mean, you're there,
- 8:58Speaker 4: they play on Monday. You know you should stay one
- 9:00Speaker 4: more night and try to get to go to the game.
- 9:03Speaker 4: But you know what, after you saying that, price, I
- 9:04Speaker 4: don't think he's gonna stay well.
- 9:05Speaker 2: After they won Game one as well, prices are going out.
- 9:09Speaker 3: So sorry about that.
- 9:10Speaker 4: I just don't like, I did not go into this
- 9:13Speaker 4: worrying at all about the Spurs, like at all, Like
- 9:15Speaker 4: I felt.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Like series over, you won.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think I thought the Knicks would
- 9:20Speaker 4: win a couple of games, but not the first game
- 9:23Speaker 4: Jim in Sweet maybe not in San Antonio. Like definitely
- 9:26Speaker 4: didn't think that was gonna happen. But I have a theory.
- 9:30Speaker 4: I have a theory. Brunson was never hurt, but he didn't.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Leave the game.
- 9:36Speaker 4: He left the game, went in the locker room, made
- 9:38Speaker 4: it a show, oh my ankle, my knee. At one point.
- 9:41Speaker 4: I don't think he was ever hurt. I think it
- 9:44Speaker 4: was all psychological to make the Spurs be like, oh dude,
- 9:46Speaker 4: you're you got this game. You got it chill. Their hurt.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Cat even was on the ground for a little bit, like.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Oh, he's always on the ground.
- 9:56Speaker 4: That on the ground, And it even got me. I
- 9:58Speaker 4: went live bet, I was like, oh my gosh, Brunson
- 10:00Speaker 4: out of the game. Cat looks like he's out of breath.
- 10:03Speaker 4: He can't run up and down the court. He just
- 10:05Speaker 4: hit his head. It's over. So it even got me.
- 10:09Speaker 4: I feel like Brunson was never ever hurt.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Well, he didn't play well. He wasn't playing well when
- 10:13Speaker 3: that happened.
- 10:14Speaker 4: And then after he got hurt, he played way better.
- 10:16Speaker 2: But you just said he got hurt.
- 10:18Speaker 4: He never did get hurt.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I don't think you removed your best player for a
- 10:21Speaker 3: psychological advantage in game one.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Maybe like Michel Bridges or Oji or something, but I
- 10:27Speaker 5: don't know about.
- 10:28Speaker 4: It's gonna be a I mean, it's gonna be a
- 10:30Speaker 4: crazy series because the Knicks are just so good.
- 10:34Speaker 3: And Obi's awesome. Again, I said this on the show
- 10:37Speaker 3: a couple of weeks ago. I didn't watch many Nick games
- 10:39Speaker 3: even with the NBA League Pass, almost never, and I
- 10:44Speaker 3: just did not respect how good Anobi was until I
- 10:46Speaker 3: started to watch them in the playoffs.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yeah, he was one that definitely made that league. That
- 10:51Speaker 4: SANTOI lead go away like he was definitely one of them.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I feel too. As soon as Wimby just sits down,
- 10:56Speaker 4: which as soon as he sits down, we start losing.
- 11:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so yeah, I mean because the next up is Cornett.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Yeah exactly, Celtics legend Lou Cornett. But uh, that's why
- 11:09Speaker 5: he's the best player. You say it right, defensively, I'm
- 11:11Speaker 5: talking about Wimby just because the alterations that he can
- 11:13Speaker 5: with Brunston.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Even though Brunson can figure it out.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I mean he Brintson figures out anything, like he's got
- 11:18Speaker 4: three guys on him in the ball, somehow still goes in.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I just think about when Brunton and Luca were on
- 11:22Speaker 3: the same team in Dallas. Oh my gosh, they traded him.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously he's not Dallas.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Yeah, well, Kevin is a Celtics fan. Who do you
- 11:30Speaker 3: want to win?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Spurs?
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:33Speaker 2: Anything you say like that, because no, you said it Spurs.
- 11:36Speaker 3: No, uh, SPEs make you fun of Spanish speakers.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I heard Spurs, which wondering why I.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Say, hey, gos Spurs going that's right? Yeah, no, the
- 11:51Speaker 5: Spurs anything New York. I'm rooting against no matter who
- 11:53Speaker 5: it is, no matter what sports, no matter what team.
- 11:55Speaker 5: And Spurs are cool, like, they're still young and they're
- 11:57Speaker 5: fun to watch, and I like Wimby and I like
- 11:59Speaker 5: castle On all those guys.
- 12:00Speaker 2: So yeah, Spurs all day.
- 12:01Speaker 3: I've reconsidered. I was kind of down the middle because
- 12:05Speaker 3: I have a lot of friends of the Spurs fans
- 12:07Speaker 3: and the NIXT. I like the fact that they haven't
- 12:09Speaker 3: won in a long time makes me one root for
- 12:10Speaker 3: them now. I'm on the Knicks side now.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Because they won Game one. Good job.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I don't think it's just that you like my kids.
- 12:19Speaker 3: I think pick a winner. I think I don't want
- 12:23Speaker 3: the Spurs to be a champion.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Yet because it's too early, too early too.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And I like the San Antonio, Oklahoma City dynamic. I
- 12:35Speaker 3: like the next winning for the first time in fifty years.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Everyone's already proclaimed Wimby to be a one player, and
- 12:43Speaker 3: maybe he is. Probably he isn't. I'm still probably gonna
- 12:47Speaker 3: go Wimby it two if I'm drafting.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Right, and who's one?
- 12:52Speaker 2: Oh, so he's old.
- 12:53Speaker 3: If I'm drafting for a single season, I'm probably taking
- 12:56Speaker 3: Wimby at two. Overall, who do you think, who would
- 12:58Speaker 3: you take it? One Weimby for one year, for one year,
- 13:03Speaker 3: I take Yogic.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I just don't think Wemby's that yet he will be
- 13:08Speaker 3: obviously because I think I'm sixty five percent next.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Now, dude, you're so right though about like do they
- 13:13Speaker 4: deserve to win it because they're so young? Like there's
- 13:16Speaker 4: no experience there, even coach, like the whole team, there's
- 13:20Speaker 4: just no experience here. But then you have the Knicks,
- 13:22Speaker 4: who is almost like a working man's team and patch together,
- 13:27Speaker 4: you know, like Josh Hart gritty, like Brunson gritty.
- 13:32Speaker 5: The only guy in the Knicks that you can root
- 13:34Speaker 5: against is probably Cat, right.
- 13:35Speaker 3: But I root for Cat now because Cat had to
- 13:37Speaker 3: change who he is as a player to make that
- 13:39Speaker 3: team work.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Yeah, and everyone's so anti Cat that you want to
- 13:42Speaker 5: go against the anti anti well, and Cat would.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Cat would whine all the time. He doesn't do that.
- 13:48Speaker 3: In New York. I feel like he he is not
- 13:50Speaker 3: a role player, but he has accepted his role as
- 13:52Speaker 3: a player.
- 13:53Speaker 4: That's Oh that was good, so good. That's a speech
- 13:56Speaker 4: right there, but.
- 13:57Speaker 2: That on a shirt.
- 13:59Speaker 4: He ain't role player.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Player like that, So it's fun.
- 14:06Speaker 4: It is fun.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I'd rather thunder be in it from my father in law.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But I know, but that's not I mean, I know
- 14:11Speaker 2: those Celtics being it right. We can't go back in time.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Rather the fan that got the lifetime ban for the
- 14:18Speaker 3: selfie idiot?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Did you see the video?
- 14:19Speaker 3: Though? I did not see anything. But after are you
- 14:23Speaker 3: saying live?
- 14:23Speaker 1: No? No?
- 14:23Speaker 3: No?
- 14:24Speaker 4: After that he posted oh but he posted oh yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 4: I mean he got out of jail and posted it.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Oh that's cool.
- 14:31Speaker 4: It's not good.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Who cares? It's so bad? Be so tall?
- 14:36Speaker 4: So you see Wimmy's number, because he tried to do
- 14:39Speaker 4: the selfie, but he didn't expand it, you know how
- 14:40Speaker 4: you do the white angle. He didn't have time to
- 14:42Speaker 4: do any of that.
- 14:43Speaker 3: So I only saw the picture in the news story
- 14:46Speaker 3: and the video of him running out. Yes one, I
- 14:48Speaker 3: was surprised they showed.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Him, They went back to show him at all. Yes,
- 14:53Speaker 4: they even replayed it. Yes, I was shocked about it.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Then like one of those photo companies that take all
- 15:00Speaker 3: the pictures, like yeah, posted a picture of him, just
- 15:03Speaker 3: like what up with Wimby?
- 15:05Speaker 4: Because it's so rare, you think, because like football happened
- 15:09Speaker 4: all the time when nobody got hurt.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I think if somebody runs out with the knife and
- 15:12Speaker 3: starts stabbing it, that doesn't Yeah, that'll.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Probably know it'll go up in a different way. But yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 2: it's a good point.
- 15:18Speaker 3: It's weird that it never happens, though, because it wide open.
- 15:21Speaker 4: And that is the one sport where you have all access. Like,
- 15:24Speaker 4: if you wanted to run in the court, you could
- 15:25Speaker 4: because you're sitting right there.
- 15:27Speaker 3: From from the bottom twelve rows. If you're already in
- 15:30Speaker 3: the bottom twelve rows, you can get there. Otherwise it's
- 15:32Speaker 3: hard to get from up to down.
- 15:34Speaker 4: He was it looked from the video it looked like
- 15:35Speaker 4: he was probably third row because he had to go
- 15:38Speaker 4: a few rows to get out, but did It's just
- 15:41Speaker 4: funny because like, I don't know if that's worth it. Now,
- 15:44Speaker 4: you can never ever go to a game in any
- 15:46Speaker 4: NBA arena.
- 15:47Speaker 3: But what if you're a guy like me and you
- 15:49Speaker 3: really don't go to games anyway, and this is your
- 15:51Speaker 3: one game and you're kind of an idiot and you
- 15:52Speaker 3: kind of want to get social clout but your video sucked. Yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 3: but you don't know that when you're doing it.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Plus, like, does the video really unless the player doesn't
- 16:02Speaker 5: mend crazy. Doesn't really matter because the video that we're
- 16:05Speaker 5: seeing more than anything at the guy running on the court,
- 16:06Speaker 5: not the video itself.
- 16:07Speaker 4: That's true. That's true. And the fact that the big cameras,
- 16:10Speaker 4: the network cameras got you is better than your video, isn't.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Life about the journey, not the destination. That's another T shirt.
- 16:19Speaker 3: But yeah, they banned that from everything. And his buddy,
- 16:22Speaker 3: I didn't know his buddy was his buddy helping him.
- 16:25Speaker 4: They said he was an accomplice, So like, yeah, him too,
- 16:28Speaker 4: which is which sucks because he got no clout. Yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 4: you got no camera time. We don't even know who
- 16:33Speaker 4: he is.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that sucks for his buddy. Something I did not
- 16:41Speaker 2: think I would say ever.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, the Cowboys are going to win the
- 16:48Speaker 4: Super Bowl. Oh okay, all right.
- 16:51Speaker 3: I didn't think these words would come out of my
- 16:53Speaker 3: mouth in this order ever, But I'm gonna say it.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I'm happy that Texas won the National Championship softball.
- 16:59Speaker 4: What I know, clip it.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Over Texas Date or over Texas Tech.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Because of them being the death star.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yeah, in sports we need villains. Texas Tech is that
- 17:11Speaker 3: in softball because they spent all of that money on
- 17:15Speaker 3: that roster. They basically went to poach players from every team,
- 17:17Speaker 3: all the best players from all the best teams, and
- 17:20Speaker 3: for the second year in a row, they finished second.
- 17:22Speaker 3: So they spent about three million dollars on their roster.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Most other teams are spending one hundred fifty thousand.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Wow, it's quite the difference day really.
- 17:32Speaker 2: I mean you can say like a million, no.
- 17:34Speaker 3: So, okay, a bit more so. I would say the
- 17:39Speaker 3: average P four program, Major SEC, Big twelve, they're probably
- 17:44Speaker 3: getting around seventy eighty ninety thousand dollars in revenue share
- 17:48Speaker 3: from the school. The rest they have to raise, and
- 17:52Speaker 3: so they could raise another seventy eighty ninety hundred whatever
- 17:54Speaker 3: that case is. I guess what I was saying was
- 17:58Speaker 3: most of their money comes from that rep share money
- 18:00Speaker 3: that's automatically dictated by the athletic director and that budget,
- 18:02Speaker 3: and it's not a lot they have to go and
- 18:04Speaker 3: raise the rest. So but Texas Texas saying, but they
- 18:06Speaker 3: have billionaire oil donors, one specifically, which I wish we had.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I want to be the villain. I'm not speaking bad
- 18:13Speaker 3: of They didn't do anything elite. Well, they may have proached,
- 18:16Speaker 3: but I'm glad they didn't win every round.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Every game.
- 18:20Speaker 3: There was some drama with that team.
- 18:21Speaker 2: If it was the Super Regionals.
- 18:23Speaker 3: With Florida, whenever Jason Williams's daughter who played for Florida
- 18:27Speaker 3: was playing for Tech, whether it was them playing Tennessee
- 18:30Speaker 3: to the girl they got and paid seven to fift
- 18:31Speaker 3: thousand dollars from Tennessee.
- 18:32Speaker 2: To come over to Tech.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and the coach saying you picked the.
- 18:35Speaker 2: All, Well that was she didn't really say that.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Right, right, but that that whole trauma.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just glad Texas Tech lost.
- 18:42Speaker 2: This is the first time you've ever rooted for Texas,
- 18:44Speaker 2: I think so. I think that I rooted for arch
- 18:45Speaker 2: Manning a little bit.
- 18:46Speaker 3: That doesn't fully count, INDI but that was hard for
- 18:49Speaker 3: me too because he was in that Vomit Orange and
- 18:52Speaker 3: Son Orange. I said it right, Vomit Orange. I was
- 18:57Speaker 3: glad Texas one and that's hard. Yeah, because respect to Texas,
- 19:02Speaker 3: but I hate your school because I'm from Arkansas.
- 19:05Speaker 2: We have to hate you.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Does it suck that we beat we Arkansas beat Texas.
- 19:10Speaker 4: We're at the game.
- 19:11Speaker 3: They beat him the whole series, right, they won the series. Yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 3: it doesn't matter. Okay, so that's all. Oh, my brother
- 19:17Speaker 3: in law is also the head coach at Tulsa as
- 19:19Speaker 3: of today.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 19:21Speaker 3: So now I can take batty practice whenever I want,
- 19:24Speaker 3: just like.
- 19:24Speaker 4: The head insistant.
- 19:25Speaker 3: It's like, hey, that's coordinatey, it's okay, and I know coordiny.
- 19:29Speaker 3: The head coach there at Arkansas is a really good coach.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And now it's just like do you do coming in?
- 19:33Speaker 4: You want whatever I want?
- 19:35Speaker 2: Dude, Tulsa. Yeah, that's cool, good for really cool. Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I hopefully he can build that program into something cool.
- 19:41Speaker 3: So that's exciting.
- 19:43Speaker 2: That's all the softball talk.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I am going to be a pretty significant donor there though.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I was talking about it on the Bobbybone Show today.
- 19:48Speaker 4: He said, quote, he is going to uh uh donate
- 19:53Speaker 4: buckets of cash.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Yeah, not truckloads, but buckets.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But what are we talking about?
- 19:59Speaker 4: De buckets? To find how big the buckets?
- 20:01Speaker 3: Hmmm?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Because home deeple buckets are.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Big, bigger than like a farmer's bucket, yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Or like a a household bucket, like a like a
- 20:10Speaker 5: mop bucket.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna go mop buckets definitely different. What would
- 20:18Speaker 2: be what.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Would be a lot to donate Yeah, Like if I
- 20:23Speaker 3: called and said, hey, like and you're no, just your mind,
- 20:26Speaker 3: a lot would be.
- 20:29Speaker 2: If I just called, I mean for tollsay out, I
- 20:32Speaker 2: would have just no just you.
- 20:33Speaker 5: If I'm like, like, donate to me, no norying to.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Get without you thinking about it, without you. Twenty grand
- 20:41Speaker 2: is the first number of the pops in my head.
- 20:43Speaker 3: So if I called the eighty and said I'm going
- 20:45Speaker 3: to give the program twenty grand, that would be a lot. Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 3: got it.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Yes, I feel like a program would get twenty grand
- 20:51Speaker 4: be like, okay, well we'll get more popcorn.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Well, it depends on it depends on the program. Yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 3: not even depends on the sport at the university. True,
- 21:02Speaker 3: because only two sports make money, generally speaking, football and basketball.
- 21:05Speaker 2: That's it.
- 21:06Speaker 3: No other sports make money. So if you're only getting
- 21:09Speaker 3: in rep share, and this can be swimming or tennis,
- 21:11Speaker 3: those all lose They all lose money. Those other sports
- 21:16Speaker 3: they subsidized the other sports. Arkansas cut their tennis team
- 21:19Speaker 3: and it got so crazy that donors came in, going
- 21:22Speaker 3: we'll give money to keep it alive.
- 21:23Speaker 2: We were the first SEC school.
- 21:24Speaker 4: To cut a program.
- 21:25Speaker 3: No way, it's back after a crazy but that's what
- 21:28Speaker 3: they're worried about now and they're doing in Congress now.
- 21:31Speaker 3: They're trying to get this passed to save the other
- 21:33Speaker 3: Olympic type sports. But that's a lot of money for
- 21:38Speaker 3: any program. It's even a lot of money for football
- 21:42Speaker 3: because they need every dollar. But if you were to
- 21:45Speaker 3: call softball, swimming, gymnastics and go, hey, I get twenty
- 21:50Speaker 3: thousand dollars for you, they'd be like, that's awesome because
- 21:53Speaker 3: you can get a really good player in the portal
- 21:55Speaker 3: for sixty grand in softball and okay, yeah, see that
- 22:00Speaker 3: twenty grade was like a really good player. Okay, so yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 3: it's it's way more than that. But all I won't
- 22:08Speaker 3: say much that I'm gonna go with Tulsa on dang,
- 22:11Speaker 3: but it's like, what's my family?
- 22:12Speaker 5: I know that's just true and DJs stoked at the jaw.
- 22:16Speaker 3: He doesn't know how much I'm going. I didn't tell him.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I'm keeping it away from him. He'll know eventually, but
- 22:20Speaker 3: it's not I'm I was like, hey, I'm I'm gonna
- 22:24Speaker 3: handle this business outside of you.
- 22:25Speaker 4: That's smart. That's smart. That's like you know, telling you
- 22:29Speaker 4: don't want to tell your kid how much money you're
- 22:31Speaker 4: gonna give them when day, you know, when.
- 22:33Speaker 3: They when they're on their own, when you die, their will?
- 22:36Speaker 4: Yeah? What the hell?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah that you're gonna say, like when they get an
- 22:38Speaker 2: A on their.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Test or something will or even how much money you have. Oh,
- 22:42Speaker 4: you don't tell your kids how much money you have?
- 22:46Speaker 2: Do they know?
- 22:47Speaker 3: I've told her baby. She's not impressed, not impressed at all.
- 22:52Speaker 3: So okay, there's a couple of softball minutes. There a
- 22:55Speaker 3: couple other things. I have a note, Oh, ed, don't
- 22:58Speaker 3: I want to played golf last night? And I'm not
- 23:00Speaker 3: going to bore you with golf stories, because I'm often
- 23:03Speaker 3: bored by people's golf stories.
- 23:04Speaker 4: But ours are good.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Not really, Dude, when I yelled water that he yelled
- 23:09Speaker 3: water at itself yesterday on the same hole where we
- 23:14Speaker 3: had our tournament, and he like yelled water to me.
- 23:17Speaker 3: So I have not turned one time since last summer
- 23:20Speaker 3: because I had leg leg ankle surgery sounds better, and
- 23:24Speaker 3: then had a baby and we have to go play
- 23:26Speaker 3: this it's not an event, but some of the largest
- 23:31Speaker 3: corporations that advertise with our company are coming down there
- 23:34Speaker 3: want me to speak at this dinner. It's at our
- 23:35Speaker 3: cfo's club. So we have to fly to Florida to
- 23:37Speaker 3: play golf with some clients. I've not played at all.
- 23:42Speaker 3: So we go out to my club and we're on
- 23:45Speaker 3: the range and it is brutal for me. I can't
- 23:48Speaker 3: even keep it in the range. I'm hooking ball. I
- 23:50Speaker 3: hit one good and it's a great shot, and I'm like,
- 23:53Speaker 3: I know you saw the other.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Due well I heard him because you know how like
- 23:56Speaker 4: the side of the range have like these nets, well
- 23:59Speaker 4: the poles.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Of metal, and I heard them and I was like, whoa.
- 24:04Speaker 3: It's bad news over And so Nettie's just laying him
- 24:08Speaker 3: out like butter One. After together, he was, don't let
- 24:11Speaker 3: him lie. He's been playing a little bit too with
- 24:12Speaker 3: the kids. Yeah, he's been playing like butters. We tried
- 24:16Speaker 3: to play last week. It rained, So first time we
- 24:18Speaker 3: go out, we don't go out until six thirty. I
- 24:22Speaker 3: think we can get.
- 24:22Speaker 4: In nine plenty of sunlight six thirty.
- 24:26Speaker 3: And so there's a twosome really old too, some ahead
- 24:29Speaker 3: of us. Husband and wife have to be eighty plus.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Shout out to them because they were still out there
- 24:35Speaker 3: and there's a four someome ahead of them. So we
- 24:37Speaker 3: played moderately slow through nine, we had to make the
- 24:44Speaker 3: decisions we keep going, we play, We're not playing fourteen holes.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Wow.
- 24:48Speaker 3: By the end of it, we were twelve year olds
- 24:50Speaker 3: playing in the dark.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Really should we go on? We try to find our
- 24:55Speaker 4: brightest balls because.
- 24:58Speaker 5: I was playing with a bright orange dang. And then
- 25:01Speaker 5: were you guys watching each other's Like, make sure you're.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Watching everybody right, We would be like, should we play
- 25:06Speaker 4: another one?
- 25:07Speaker 2: We also have families at home.
- 25:09Speaker 3: We're like weighing the darkness the families, but we're gonna
- 25:13Speaker 3: hear when we.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Walk in the door.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Not to mention the fact that we had a golf
- 25:16Speaker 4: cart that had to be returned at some point, So
- 25:18Speaker 4: somebody's still waiting.
- 25:20Speaker 3: On the golf cart.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:22Speaker 2: No, we pulled in.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I think we were the last ones on the course,
- 25:25Speaker 3: but they didn't want to tell us that. They wouldn't
- 25:26Speaker 3: say that, and so were the last ones out and
- 25:28Speaker 3: they were like, oh, I don't.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Know, we probably were.
- 25:31Speaker 2: So we played.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I had two eights to start us off, brutal, brutal.
- 25:37Speaker 3: I ended up catching up with what I can kind
- 25:40Speaker 3: of normally do. So by the end of it, it was
- 25:42Speaker 3: just really dark. It was really funny because we had
- 25:44Speaker 3: our two brightest balls out there just slamming on.
- 25:47Speaker 4: We were trying to like, can we do eighteen? You
- 25:49Speaker 4: think we could do eighteen?
- 25:50Speaker 3: And I think we could have at six thirty had
- 25:52Speaker 3: it been an open course, right, yeah, nobody in front
- 25:54Speaker 3: of you, because once those people peeled off at.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Nine, we were flying.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Yeah, we're just rolling.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Really, I don't.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Even read the putt, just hit it. Yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 2: We were laughing about how you got free clubs and
- 26:04Speaker 2: never really had to do anything for them. Again, well, Eddie,
- 26:07Speaker 2: what kind of clubs do you have?
- 26:08Speaker 3: I said, well, I have these, I have cobras, have
- 26:12Speaker 3: these cobras. And he's like, oh, is that the one
- 26:16Speaker 3: Kev's got so yeah, so he didn't have to do anything.
- 26:21Speaker 4: For that, the ones where he says do something. So
- 26:23Speaker 4: they got free clubs and then didn't do it, got it.
- 26:24Speaker 5: Hey, that wasn't on me. We were going to do it,
- 26:26Speaker 5: try to do it, and it just you know, you
- 26:28Speaker 5: can still do something.
- 26:29Speaker 3: At this point, I don't even know the people that
- 26:31Speaker 3: I had to deal with. They're still prick there. Yeah,
- 26:33Speaker 3: they don't we send them this content. They don't even
- 26:35Speaker 3: know who we are.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Plus I was with read too, and Reed's been gone
- 26:38Speaker 5: for over a year. So yeah, there's a lot of
- 26:41Speaker 5: factors that have you played and I didn't have twins
- 26:43Speaker 5: at the time. I haven't played since before my surgery.
- 26:46Speaker 4: What happened to you?
- 26:47Speaker 2: He said about you?
- 26:48Speaker 4: Oh no, God, what did I say?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Because I don't remember what you were talking crab while
- 26:52Speaker 2: I'm out there.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Dude.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but because he loves you, but definitely crap. Okay,
- 26:56Speaker 2: let's hear it.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Because you're well liked. So everything we say, we're going
- 26:59Speaker 3: hard him a place of love.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah, So he's like, man, Kevin, have to do anything
- 27:03Speaker 3: for those clubs. And so if you're just listening for
- 27:05Speaker 3: the first time, I had to deal with Cobra for
- 27:06Speaker 3: about a year and I said, hey, we'll do a
- 27:08Speaker 3: deal with my guy and we'll see if you can
- 27:10Speaker 3: break ninety, get him some clubs, get him fitted. Two
- 27:12Speaker 3: thousand dollars set of clubs, hooked him up big great wow, dude,
- 27:17Speaker 3: yeah great, But then we never did it. No, my
- 27:21Speaker 3: deal right now, we saw.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Like two episodes and then the deal right now, you
- 27:25Speaker 2: load anything up, right, that's how you do it. And
- 27:28Speaker 2: so we were talking about that and Eddie goes.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Isn't it cool how somebody that's like athletic like Kevin,
- 27:33Speaker 3: who's like good at sports, sucks at golf and looks
- 27:36Speaker 3: terrible when he plays the golf.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Do you remember saying this? At what I said?
- 27:45Speaker 2: You get joy in this?
- 27:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yes, you get joy in what I said? Is you
- 27:48Speaker 2: know what I love about golf?
- 27:50Speaker 4: Oh? No, okay, what I love about golf is you
- 27:52Speaker 4: can have an athlete like Kevin who's good at everything.
- 27:56Speaker 4: He touches the basketball, Wow, he could shoot three. He's
- 27:58Speaker 4: look at him, He's so good at everything. He fixed
- 28:00Speaker 4: up a golf club and he looks terrible. So there's
- 28:03Speaker 4: a bit of a backhanded compliment.
- 28:05Speaker 5: I agree, and I'll take the backhanded compliment because I'll
- 28:07Speaker 5: be the first to say, obviously, I'm not very good
- 28:09Speaker 5: at golf.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I used to let golf like really get.
- 28:11Speaker 5: In my head when I was younger, and I was
- 28:14Speaker 5: just so like competitive, and I was like, how can
- 28:15Speaker 5: I not be good at golf but be good all
- 28:16Speaker 5: this other stuff? Now I just go for fun more
- 28:19Speaker 5: than anything.
- 28:20Speaker 4: So, but you had a tea time and you didn't
- 28:22Speaker 4: go like.
- 28:23Speaker 5: A month ago, yeah, yeah, that's when I had the
- 28:25Speaker 5: shoulder I went and tested it out. I should have
- 28:27Speaker 5: tested it out before making the tea time, but I
- 28:29Speaker 5: got asked to go. It's not like I made the
- 28:31Speaker 5: tea time. Somebody asked if I could go, and I
- 28:32Speaker 5: said yes. Then a couple days later like, hey, it's
- 28:34Speaker 5: probably not a good idea, but I.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Still need to go out there. How's your shoulder.
- 28:38Speaker 5: It's getting much better? Yeah, well I'm I'm starting to
- 28:42Speaker 5: lift a little bit more and still do the exercises
- 28:44Speaker 5: that therapy sent me home with and do those I
- 28:47Speaker 5: don't know three four times a week. I had a
- 28:49Speaker 5: little you know, it is like some days you feel great,
- 28:52Speaker 5: and then the next day, for whatever reason, you're.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Just like you're sore, you're hurting, and you're like, what
- 28:57Speaker 4: the heck huh preach, Well, it's from an I have
- 29:00Speaker 4: this oh my, not just life.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Like his ankles. I guess it could be both. We're
- 29:04Speaker 2: kind of relating to hell.
- 29:06Speaker 4: You were talking about, like some days you feel great,
- 29:07Speaker 4: some days I feel like you're gonna die.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Like just well, that's low key.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's low t. It's load t until it's terrible. However,
- 29:14Speaker 4: you know, I did get low vitamin D as well.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Did yesterday, all day in the sun, went to the pool,
- 29:20Speaker 4: took my shirt off.
- 29:21Speaker 2: You looked hand, dude, Do I really was a brown
- 29:23Speaker 2: shirt or what?
- 29:23Speaker 4: Maybe? But I mean I took my shirt off at
- 29:25Speaker 4: the pool and everything. Yeah, all day.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I keep it grid.
- 29:28Speaker 3: I didn't write this for us talking about this, but
- 29:29Speaker 3: because my ankle and I've talked about my mile time
- 29:32Speaker 3: that I run. I keep track of every mile that
- 29:33Speaker 3: I run to get fast so I can push my ankle. Yeah,
- 29:35Speaker 3: to see how fast I can run a mile before
- 29:37Speaker 3: it hurts. And I've gotten it down. I mentioned to
- 29:39Speaker 3: seven thirty. Nice, that's where I can start at eleven
- 29:43Speaker 3: twenty three. Well, that's the first one that I did
- 29:45Speaker 3: because I didn't run on it at all and I
- 29:47Speaker 3: was scared to so I just jog on it and
- 29:49Speaker 3: I run a mile next day. Okay, it didn't hurt.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I can write down eleven twenty three is I didn't
- 29:54Speaker 3: hurt time, and so one two three. Like I keep track,
- 29:58Speaker 3: I keep track of everything, but I keep track of it.
- 30:00Speaker 3: And now I can run a mile at seven thirty
- 30:02Speaker 3: and at.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Night hurt solid. So but I did leg day this.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Week after I having and I haven't done a full
- 30:07Speaker 3: leg day at all since then, little leg things. I
- 30:10Speaker 3: don't know that I'm ever doing it again in my life.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I'm too old for leg day.
- 30:13Speaker 2: I'm done.
- 30:13Speaker 4: No you need leg day.
- 30:15Speaker 3: I can't move. It hurts so bad my butt. I
- 30:18Speaker 3: was doing alternating squats, was.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Way I was doing. You probably went way too heavy,
- 30:22Speaker 2: didn't you.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Well I just went normal again after thinking I could
- 30:25Speaker 3: be normal.
- 30:26Speaker 4: I feel like you have to. You can't go right.
- 30:28Speaker 5: You have to work your way back into it because
- 30:30Speaker 5: even me, like now doing rolls are like shoulder press.
- 30:33Speaker 5: I got ten pounds dude, when I was doing like
- 30:35Speaker 5: forty five before surgery. I love it, you know, And
- 30:37Speaker 5: I'm just like, you get humbled, man, but it's worth it,
- 30:40Speaker 5: like if you just slow playing it, but if you
- 30:42Speaker 5: just jump back in.
- 30:43Speaker 3: But I feel like if I go normal, I can
- 30:45Speaker 3: get back to normal faster. But I'm hurting so bad.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I never want to do it again exactly.
- 30:48Speaker 4: You know. I worked out with Kevin one time at
- 30:50Speaker 4: a hotel. Yeah, and he it was interesting, like his
- 30:54Speaker 4: warm up was the stair stepper, and he did the
- 30:57Speaker 4: stair stepper for twenty minute fifteen twenty minutes.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yeah, fifteen minutes.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Probably not very fast, just very slow, and I was like, interesting,
- 31:05Speaker 4: I've never done a stairstepper.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Ever ever twenty four our finnis in Austin. I would
- 31:09Speaker 3: see Undertaker just up on the stairstepper just.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Really really So is that leg day?
- 31:13Speaker 2: No, I mean that's the warm up. Yeah, so you
- 31:15Speaker 2: can do like you see.
- 31:16Speaker 5: Your heart going and your legs moving because it's like
- 31:17Speaker 5: a heart. I mean, you know, walking upstairs it's hard.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Oh you did you walk up one flight to get
- 31:22Speaker 3: into work now?
- 31:22Speaker 4: Like breath? Yeah, the same? Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 6: Mi.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Did you ever see Undertaker in Austin?
- 31:27Speaker 7: No?
- 31:28Speaker 6: I saw him at a Texas game on the field.
- 31:29Speaker 6: Actually he's massive.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Does he live there?
- 31:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:32Speaker 4: So you saw him at a twenty fits. I used
- 31:35Speaker 4: to work out where I met a mid where they
- 31:36Speaker 4: were like two hundred people working out.
- 31:38Speaker 2: He's just in the.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Middle of seventy people. Yeah, he's up on the stair machine,
- 31:41Speaker 3: up on the top level. But he would walk for
- 31:43Speaker 3: like two hours.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Did you have the music playing.
- 31:47Speaker 4: When you told this story? I pictured you ad like
- 31:49Speaker 4: a fancy hotel or something where you were like, no,
- 31:52Speaker 4: twenty four our fitness that's crazy.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Wow.
- 31:55Speaker 3: That's also the same gym where I met a mod Yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 3: our best friend of mide undertaker long here still now.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure we had long hair then. I can't
- 32:05Speaker 2: remember his hair.
- 32:06Speaker 3: It's probably a ponytail or something, Okay, but I saw
- 32:08Speaker 3: him a couple of times. Really, you couldn't miss him.
- 32:11Speaker 3: And those stair machines and the treadmills were up a
- 32:13Speaker 3: level all the way through the hills stairs, and he
- 32:16Speaker 3: was up there and you would just see him. And
- 32:17Speaker 3: I'd go up there and I would from when I
- 32:19Speaker 3: would get there to when I would leave. He would
- 32:22Speaker 3: never leave the stair machine really and just walk it.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, there's no way I could do that.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I get so bored.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Yeah, boring, But I think it's great Cardio, like you said.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Yeah, really what about a rowing machine? Like I dominate
- 32:32Speaker 4: rowing machines, but they're only girls on there, so I'm
- 32:34Speaker 4: always just like, no, don't do that.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I always like it always slips out of my hands.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like I slips down. Yeah, here's my back.
- 32:43Speaker 4: It does.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm probably not doing it right, that's probably why.
- 32:45Speaker 5: But like, I just think it it's just uncomfty.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I love it.
- 32:48Speaker 4: And the one that they have at the gym that
- 32:50Speaker 4: I go to. It has water in it, so it
- 32:53Speaker 4: feels like I'm really rowing water, even though the water
- 32:55Speaker 4: is like I don't know, a gallon of water.
- 32:57Speaker 3: There's a brand, it's like an aqua rower or something.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's it.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I'm not sure if that's what it is.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Hydro row maybe, oh, that is it actually, And it's
- 33:05Speaker 4: basically it looks like a fish bowl with water in
- 33:07Speaker 4: it and the propeller is going through it. And that's
- 33:09Speaker 4: like I feel like I'm going somewhere, but I'm not.
- 33:11Speaker 2: We have a rower in our gym at home. I
- 33:14Speaker 2: hate it. Yeah, I hate them, you do, Yeah, I
- 33:16Speaker 2: hate I just get so bored.
- 33:18Speaker 4: Yeah, oh man, you picture you see, that's why you
- 33:20Speaker 4: need the water. Get a pictureadmill too, though, Oh yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 4: the treadmill is terrible. Now with this rowing thing, you
- 33:25Speaker 4: picture yourself in water, like in a lake Harvard, you know,
- 33:28Speaker 4: like you see those rowers at Harvard. It's kind of like.
- 33:31Speaker 3: You're picturing yourself rowing in your rowing fantasy.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Absolutely got it.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like if you're on the stairstep or you
- 33:36Speaker 4: got to picture yourself in a New York building, right, Oh.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I try to picture myself doing the opposite anything but
- 33:41Speaker 3: working out. You're just picturing yourself working out in a
- 33:44Speaker 3: better scenario.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I'm listening to a podcast, like, how can I get
- 33:47Speaker 2: my mind off this?
- 33:49Speaker 3: You're just elevating your workout. No, either, I have more
- 33:52Speaker 3: serene location.
- 33:53Speaker 4: You know how some of these treadmills have like a
- 33:55Speaker 4: video like a TV screen, and it's like a trail,
- 33:58Speaker 4: and you feel like, oh, that's cool, I'm on a trail.
- 34:00Speaker 3: I think if I were actually rowing at Harvard in
- 34:02Speaker 3: the water, I'd be trying to visualize myself not rowing
- 34:05Speaker 3: at all too.
- 34:07Speaker 4: I don't know. I have to put my head somewhere.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Speaking of the Undertaker, just a bit on wrestling. So
- 34:13Speaker 3: you saw the bellotwins.
- 34:14Speaker 4: I didn't see the bellotwins, but apparently they were in
- 34:17Speaker 4: our building. So a couple of weeks.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Ago, we have a podcast on this podcast network with
- 34:24Speaker 3: our guy Battle.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:25Speaker 2: What's it called Batleground, Battleground, Battleground.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's the Battleground podcast and he's come on
- 34:30Speaker 3: this show before, and so I got a call going, hey,
- 34:33Speaker 3: the Bellot Twins are in town, and we have studios
- 34:36Speaker 3: that are completely independent of our iHeart studios or my
- 34:39Speaker 3: house and we use. We're actually working for them today,
- 34:42Speaker 3: and they said, hey, can Battle use your studio for
- 34:45Speaker 3: the Bello Twins because they need a good studio to shoot.
- 34:48Speaker 3: I was like, cool, absolutely, So Brandon and Dylan ready
- 34:51Speaker 3: to come shoot it and they called. They were like, ah,
- 34:54Speaker 3: the Bellot Twins is too far for them. It's fine.
- 34:58Speaker 4: So they were probably just downtown or something.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I guess.
- 34:59Speaker 3: So, I mean, we're seven minutes, it's not far at all,
- 35:02Speaker 3: but I guess maybe they were downtown. So that's how
- 35:04Speaker 3: I knew they were in town.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Okay, But I was just surprised that because I saw
- 35:09Speaker 4: on Facebook and Instagram so many people's salespeople in our
- 35:12Speaker 4: building pictures with the Bellotwins.
- 35:14Speaker 2: So I saw pictures with them.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, everyone took a picture with them. And I
- 35:17Speaker 4: was like, were they here, and they're like, yeah, they
- 35:19Speaker 4: came in. They did a thing with Battle, and I
- 35:21Speaker 4: was like, oh, I want to. Bobby knew that because
- 35:23Speaker 4: I mean, we would have totally had them on the show, right.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I wouldn't have taken it from Battle, So I knew
- 35:28Speaker 3: they were coming in once they had asked to use
- 35:31Speaker 3: the studios. I would never have scooped in and taken
- 35:34Speaker 3: it from Battle on my own. Can you imagine me hijack?
- 35:37Speaker 4: And I guess no, no, But to be fair, Battle
- 35:40Speaker 4: has come to me and be like, hey, so and
- 35:42Speaker 4: so's coming. Do you guys want them as well?
- 35:45Speaker 3: Well that's nice. Yeah, but I wouldn't take anybody right right,
- 35:48Speaker 3: right right.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I just didn't know if you knew the Bellatwins were here.
- 35:50Speaker 2: I think they.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I don't want to say, blew us off because at
- 35:54Speaker 3: the super Bowl everything is just screaming with your hair
- 35:58Speaker 3: on fire. They were supposed to come to us at
- 36:00Speaker 3: the super Bowl and they did not. But I'm telling
- 36:04Speaker 3: you it's a zoo in that building, and every row
- 36:07Speaker 3: and everything is twelve to fifteen minutes long. There really
- 36:11Speaker 3: is no radio row anymore as far as it used
- 36:13Speaker 3: to be. Back in the day, a bunch of radio
- 36:15Speaker 3: stations from bunch cities would just be up. Now it's
- 36:17Speaker 3: all massive podcasts, a couple radio shows that also have
- 36:22Speaker 3: massive podcasts and like video content.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Yeah they should rename that.
- 36:26Speaker 3: And everybody has a set that has a visual aesthetic
- 36:30Speaker 3: to it where you husld just be a table.
- 36:32Speaker 4: You just sit down with two microphones whatever.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a different environment.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Now do you know what's cool about that is you
- 36:39Speaker 4: a lot of the social videos that you see on TikTok, now,
- 36:42Speaker 4: like there's a Gruden one that pops up all the
- 36:43Speaker 4: time with him talking to uh Ceedee Lamb, and it's
- 36:49Speaker 4: from that day that we were all there and we
- 36:52Speaker 4: saw CD.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Zag day, well the same day.
- 36:54Speaker 4: There are so many little just viral clips that I
- 36:57Speaker 4: see from interviews that I saw by walking around of
- 37:00Speaker 4: being like, oh, I remember that setup, I remember Gruden
- 37:02Speaker 4: being there.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yeh, I remember him wearing that.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yeah, did we see Gruden?
- 37:07Speaker 4: I did?
- 37:08Speaker 2: Oh you did? Yeah I didn't.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he was there, He had a I guess he
- 37:11Speaker 4: does his podcast.
- 37:12Speaker 3: He had a pretty big one. Now he works for barstool. Yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 3: so I don't know what he was doing then, yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 3: and then he would do but he also does that QB.
- 37:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's that's what it was. But the clip
- 37:22Speaker 4: I keep seeing is it wasn't Ceedee Lamb. It was
- 37:24Speaker 4: Bo Jackson and bo Jacks was wearing the same thing
- 37:28Speaker 4: that he was wearing when.
- 37:29Speaker 2: We talked about oh yeah, like a hoodie. I think, yeah,
- 37:31Speaker 2: it was like a.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Good look.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Question.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yeah, for the Mexicans in the room, Mike and Eddy
- 37:44Speaker 3: step out of the scene. Do Hispanic and Mexican people
- 37:46Speaker 3: in America care more about soccer than normal white people
- 37:49Speaker 3: in America that don't really care about soccer either, because
- 37:52Speaker 3: you don't care about soccer, I don't. Did any of
- 37:55Speaker 3: your family do they care about soccer? No? Okay, so
- 37:57Speaker 3: with the World Cup coming, there's not an elevate, like
- 38:00Speaker 3: do they root for?
- 38:02Speaker 4: So my my family is tex mex right, like, so
- 38:04Speaker 4: a lot of my family is Texas border, and I
- 38:07Speaker 4: would say that that family could care less about soccer.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Is soccer big in the valley though? For high school sports?
- 38:15Speaker 4: Yeah? I mean yeah, but it's not. No football still rules.
- 38:18Speaker 4: It's still Texas. To me, football was number one. I
- 38:22Speaker 4: would say, soccer in the list of sports in my
- 38:24Speaker 4: high school was probably number five.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Mike, what about you?
- 38:26Speaker 6: My family loves soccer, so they're highly Like my uncles,
- 38:29Speaker 6: they that's all they do. They watched soccer all the time.
- 38:32Speaker 6: I grew up watching soccer, probably more than any other sport.
- 38:34Speaker 6: Like I had a favorite soccer player growing up. Really,
- 38:37Speaker 6: we go to we were from Mexico, so I'd go
- 38:39Speaker 6: to Mexico. We'd watch Mexico games and Luis said, none
- 38:41Speaker 6: of this was my favorite player growing up, so yeah,
- 38:44Speaker 6: that's a big deal.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Wow, not mine. We're all cowboys Texans. You know, half
- 38:48Speaker 4: of our family fight over that.
- 38:50Speaker 3: You can't fight as a Texan fan. That's not a
- 38:52Speaker 3: real fan.
- 38:53Speaker 4: My cousin a real team. My cousin beat the dude,
- 38:56Speaker 4: he'll fight you till the death.
- 38:57Speaker 2: That's too new to fight over. If they weren't running
- 38:59Speaker 2: the night, you can't fight over them.
- 39:01Speaker 3: It's like pred cockey fans. I'll fight here, lifelong tred fans. Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 3: you know you're too new.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Uh yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I wondered if in Hispanic or Mexican culture, if soccer
- 39:13Speaker 3: mattered a little more to people that didn't normally matter
- 39:15Speaker 3: to because Mike doesn't watch like Premier League or no.
- 39:18Speaker 6: But I started watching the Mexico games.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Really.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Yeah, what's that league called, Mike, the Mexican League?
- 39:25Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I just watched Mexico, dude.
- 39:26Speaker 4: I yeah, because we had friends from Mexico, like friends
- 39:29Speaker 4: that were from Mexico City, and every time they couldn't visit,
- 39:33Speaker 4: it was just like can we watch soccer?
- 39:35Speaker 3: Really?
- 39:35Speaker 4: So it's just crazy, like on this side of the
- 39:37Speaker 4: border where we were from, Like we were all americanized.
- 39:41Speaker 4: All we loved football, we loved all the American sports.
- 39:43Speaker 4: But you'd go across that border and it was a
- 39:45Speaker 4: whole different world. Like every they loved to watch soccer
- 39:49Speaker 4: on Saturday mornings, Sunday mornings.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Mike, world Cup percentage wise, what's your interest in? Just general?
- 39:57Speaker 4: World Cup?
- 39:58Speaker 6: I'll watch it until Mexico goes out. They'll probably go
- 40:00Speaker 6: out pretty soon. They have a very slim chance.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Of me you get further.
- 40:04Speaker 6: So i'd say you, Oh, I love the World Cup.
- 40:11Speaker 3: I'm like, you just said you didn't care about soccer.
- 40:13Speaker 4: I don't. I don't, but the World Cup is different.
- 40:15Speaker 3: The World Cup is you'll watch France and Spain play
- 40:17Speaker 3: each other.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Yes, I too, I love the world I love the
- 40:20Speaker 2: World Cup.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Oh, I guess I have no interest unless the US
- 40:24Speaker 3: is playing, really like none.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Like Mike said, they'll probably go out early.
- 40:29Speaker 3: I have real faith that we can get to the
- 40:30Speaker 3: knockout stage.
- 40:31Speaker 2: That'd be cool because they put us.
- 40:33Speaker 3: In a week group. Yeah, and I'm not an educated
- 40:35Speaker 3: speaker of soccer, but we've done this before. I'm like,
- 40:39Speaker 3: I'm read up on it. They put us in a week
- 40:42Speaker 3: group on purpose because we're hosting m.
- 40:44Speaker 4: So it's so funny though when the World Cup comes around,
- 40:47Speaker 4: like I get so into soccer, but as soon it's over,
- 40:50Speaker 4: it's over. Never gonna watch it again.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Olympics a little bit the same.
- 40:54Speaker 4: The same with the Olympics, like.
- 40:55Speaker 3: If America can represent, I'll watch if we're good.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Did you guys see who the three on three team
- 40:59Speaker 2: is USA?
- 41:00Speaker 3: I never heard of them. I saw a picture, Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 3: three three. Then I tried to guess by looking at
- 41:05Speaker 3: their picture, and then I thought, let me look at
- 41:06Speaker 3: their names and then I'll be like, oh, I can't
- 41:08Speaker 3: believe it. And then I went I was like, no, no,
- 41:09Speaker 3: don't know them. Yeah, like how it's an actual sport.
- 41:13Speaker 4: For the Olympics and there are no superstars.
- 41:16Speaker 3: It's three like I thought it was three, Like t
- 41:19Speaker 3: JJ reddicks, what are you talking about?
- 41:21Speaker 4: Why do we not have like Steph Curry in there's.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Three way guys?
- 41:24Speaker 3: Well, they they played the five on five, but it
- 41:27Speaker 3: was last Olympics summer was the first time that we
- 41:30Speaker 3: did three on three and we didn't win the gold.
- 41:31Speaker 4: I don't think can they can they not play both?
- 41:35Speaker 4: Can like a five on five?
- 41:36Speaker 3: When they make they contradict that kind of schedules.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but but Kevin was so funny.
- 41:42Speaker 3: I saw the same three guys and I thought, for sure,
- 41:46Speaker 3: I'll remember their NBA careers. They're just and then I
- 41:50Speaker 3: didn't know them out that they look like all like
- 41:52Speaker 3: that JJ Reddick type cousins.
- 41:55Speaker 5: Really yeah, I'm trying to find a picture of them
- 41:57Speaker 5: that I because this one has Jimmer for debt but
- 41:59Speaker 5: that's not.
- 41:59Speaker 2: The but but they do they all look like Jimmer Dette. Well,
- 42:02Speaker 2: here you go.
- 42:03Speaker 4: They do play in the NBA.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Though the picture I saw the Caruso.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Caruso is in there. Yeah, okay, Mitch han James.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I saw the top three, three white beside each other.
- 42:18Speaker 3: I'm like, it's gonna be a disaster.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Yeah, so they are they not in the NBA.
- 42:22Speaker 3: No, Well, it's like the flag football guys, right, yeah,
- 42:25Speaker 3: but I mean there's gonna be some NFL guys. But
- 42:28Speaker 3: it looks like after watching the Flag guys play the
- 42:32Speaker 3: NFL guys, huh, that I'd rather have a FLAG player
- 42:35Speaker 3: that knows how to play the game than I have
- 42:37Speaker 3: an NFL guy that knows how to play the NFL.
- 42:40Speaker 4: So, so the that's interesting. Three and three so so
- 42:42Speaker 4: these guys like really good at the three man weave?
- 42:44Speaker 4: Is that kind of like?
- 42:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they did it a lot warming up in me
- 42:49Speaker 2: turn warm ups.
- 42:51Speaker 4: I guess, Wow, did you do.
- 42:53Speaker 2: The thing where we try to figure out who it
- 42:54Speaker 2: was first Befoh? Yeah, yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 5: I was like, maybe I just don't remember what they
- 42:57Speaker 5: look like now or look to your point, I was like,
- 43:00Speaker 5: let me look at their names.
- 43:03Speaker 3: That'd be cool for him a clung to do though,
- 43:05Speaker 3: that could really help his brand Slam Dunk champion. Yeah,
- 43:09Speaker 3: and us A three on three. But I guess you
- 43:13Speaker 3: gotta practice a lot with them.
- 43:15Speaker 4: What about some of the other countries are there? Are
- 43:16Speaker 4: there NBA players, Like.
- 43:18Speaker 3: If they're an NBA player, they're probably playing on the
- 43:20Speaker 3: five on five.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Wow, Yeah, that's true, that's true.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Kevin traded in his truck.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Oh no, that's it.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I did, guys.
- 43:27Speaker 4: He's castrated.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I know, I know, but I will say, let's see
- 43:30Speaker 2: it you guys after so you guys.
- 43:35Speaker 4: That'd be weird.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Not to my own horn here, but you know, it's
- 43:38Speaker 5: kind of a big father move Father of the Year,
- 43:40Speaker 5: if you will. I traded in the truck, got the
- 43:43Speaker 5: wife's car, got her brand new Suv.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Dude, family car and Eddie.
- 43:47Speaker 5: You know, Bobby, you're you're learning to You got to
- 43:49Speaker 5: make sacrifices, man.
- 43:50Speaker 2: So that's what I had to do.
- 43:51Speaker 3: That's why I have an sub sacrificed.
- 43:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, big time sacrifice.
- 43:57Speaker 2: You don't know what it's like I have.
- 43:59Speaker 1: You.
- 44:00Speaker 2: You don't know what it's like. Dad's with Thatchub's with
- 44:02Speaker 2: kids seats in the back.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Have you talked about what you have? Like, do you
- 44:06Speaker 4: say the brand?
- 44:07Speaker 3: It's been said a few times, Okay, can.
- 44:09Speaker 4: I say something? It was funny. It was funny. So
- 44:15Speaker 4: after we played golf, you you were leaving and there
- 44:20Speaker 4: was a family leave in the pool, and all I
- 44:22Speaker 4: heard was, whoa, that's a Lambo And there were these
- 44:28Speaker 4: two kids. But like, dad, that's a freaking Lamborghini.
- 44:33Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 44:34Speaker 3: I don't even think about it like that, dude.
- 44:36Speaker 4: And they were probably I would say, eight or nine
- 44:38Speaker 4: years old, Suv.
- 44:40Speaker 2: It didn't matter. They knew that that was a lamb.
- 44:42Speaker 3: That's crazy to.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Me because you can't look at it and like even
- 44:46Speaker 4: if I saw the the you know what the emblem
- 44:48Speaker 4: on there, I wouldn't think Lamborghini.
- 44:50Speaker 3: I agree, if I thought it screamed, look at me.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I don't think I would have it. The color kind
- 44:54Speaker 3: of is loud because they don't make them. I guess
- 44:57Speaker 3: they do black. They didn't have it. Yeah, so I
- 45:01Speaker 3: can be wrong, but I feel like if I saw
- 45:02Speaker 3: it driving beside me, I wouldn't think twice about I
- 45:04Speaker 3: wonder what that is.
- 45:05Speaker 4: Dude, The fact that these kids were just like whoa,
- 45:08Speaker 4: Because it's not like you were driving like a Motley
- 45:10Speaker 4: Crewe Lamborghini.
- 45:11Speaker 2: It's not what I would call a Lamborghini R A car.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Was it when you started it or they just saw.
- 45:16Speaker 4: No, he was driving off, but it rolled, it roars. Yeah,
- 45:19Speaker 4: it's got a yeah, some muscle to it. Yeah, and
- 45:23Speaker 4: it's funny. I forgot I meant to tell you that.
- 45:25Speaker 4: But sorry, Kevin, go back to your little I was sorry, Kevin.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Thank your story forget about my CUV. So what you get?
- 45:35Speaker 5: So we got a GMC Yukon. Oh it's a nice car. No,
- 45:41Speaker 5: it's a beautiful car. I'm happy with it, for sure.
- 45:43Speaker 4: But really, dude, that's a that's a not a cheap car.
- 45:48Speaker 2: It's not brand new. He wants to see how much
- 45:49Speaker 2: money to make. No, it's not much money.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Let me see your buckets.
- 45:55Speaker 5: I traded in the new truck, and it's not brand new.
- 45:57Speaker 5: It's a used car, don't get me wrong. But it's
- 45:59Speaker 5: a beautiful car. Are We love it, big open space,
- 46:02Speaker 5: so we're happy with it. It's just a little step
- 46:05Speaker 5: back for me personally on my everyday commute. So I'm like,
- 46:07Speaker 5: all right, just a little adjustment.
- 46:08Speaker 4: You're going to miss the pick up, of course.
- 46:10Speaker 5: I mean it was a new truck, you know, and
- 46:12Speaker 5: like the car that I'm driving now, by no means
- 46:15Speaker 5: a piece of crap or anything.
- 46:16Speaker 2: But it's just, yeah, that's the way it is.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Dude, does those dads here, you know, we're just dad
- 46:21Speaker 3: man right, putting the car seats in the bag, getting
- 46:24Speaker 3: to work every single day, one day at a time,
- 46:25Speaker 3: one foot in the time, one dipper at a time.
- 46:29Speaker 4: I mean, I still drive the jeep, but I guess
- 46:31Speaker 4: I see what you're saying.
- 46:32Speaker 2: You don't have seat. I was gonna say, do you
- 46:33Speaker 2: have that? With car seats?
- 46:34Speaker 4: I would put the car seat in the jeep. Really,
- 46:37Speaker 4: it didn't live in the jeep. It would go back
- 46:39Speaker 4: to my wife's car for the most part. But if
- 46:41Speaker 4: I had to take them, yeah, I had.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Something that's way expensive.
- 46:44Speaker 2: It's stupid, stupid, because they need to be there's the
- 46:47Speaker 2: car seats.
- 46:48Speaker 5: What's crazy is we we had to get new ones
- 46:49Speaker 5: when they turned one already car seats.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Yes, did you not get the kind of adjust well
- 46:54Speaker 2: we have?
- 46:56Speaker 5: My wife would answer is way better than I can.
- 46:58Speaker 5: But we we took out the cushion after a few
- 47:00Speaker 5: months or whatever, right you are?
- 47:01Speaker 2: You probably aready?
- 47:02Speaker 4: Did that those are the smaller cushions that it's a newborn.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Yeah, and then now we had we got new one
- 47:07Speaker 5: big ones when they turned one because they were outgrowing
- 47:11Speaker 5: the ones that we already had for And I was like,
- 47:12Speaker 5: they only last a year.
- 47:13Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 47:14Speaker 3: I didn't know that. If that's the case, no car
- 47:16Speaker 3: seats anymore. Yeah, because we ain't find a new one,
- 47:19Speaker 3: so we'll just get used to not having that.
- 47:21Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. And she was like, well, yeah,
- 47:23Speaker 2: what do you think?
- 47:23Speaker 5: I was like, I think if you spend that much
- 47:25Speaker 5: money on something that's going to safety, like it should
- 47:27Speaker 5: last more than a year.
- 47:28Speaker 4: Yes.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Uh my watching that picture yesterday the baby while I
- 47:34Speaker 3: was at work, I was gonna show this team.
- 47:38Speaker 2: So she sent me, Kevin, wait, you sent a picture
- 47:42Speaker 2: of might baby.
- 47:43Speaker 3: No this picture.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Oh didn't you get us that? Oh yeah, it wasn't
- 47:50Speaker 2: about the baby. Don't put that on the on the Okay, good, No, didn't.
- 47:54Speaker 2: She's Kevin get you?
- 47:57Speaker 4: Yes, And she's wearing what Kevin gave.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Ke was like a she's wearing onesie. You know what
- 48:03Speaker 2: that means? His wife is no idea onesie.
- 48:08Speaker 3: I would say no, no because on the onesie it's
- 48:11Speaker 3: written my Daddy's in the Radio Hall of Fame.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Okay, so Kevin had to have Okay, yeah, you do
- 48:16Speaker 2: you pick that out? I picked it up.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Like no, no, dude, we're showing you the clothes that
- 48:21Speaker 2: you bought. Dude, you go through so many clothes. You
- 48:24Speaker 2: don't even look at the clothes. I just look at
- 48:26Speaker 2: the face now the clothes.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Yeah, she grew out a zero to three. I'm talking
- 48:32Speaker 3: before she got into three months, and so now we
- 48:34Speaker 3: have all these clothes and we're just we have a
- 48:36Speaker 3: weekly donation trip now, but we're just donating that's clothes
- 48:40Speaker 3: and diapers that she's grown out of. We also buy
- 48:42Speaker 3: extra dipers every time I buy diapers because I've under
- 48:44Speaker 3: now I understand how expensive it is to have a
- 48:46Speaker 3: freaking baby. But it's a racket. Yeah, and we buy
- 48:52Speaker 3: a loopit on everything. I know, I know there's no chance.
- 48:57Speaker 4: Dipers.
- 48:58Speaker 2: People are nothing.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Okay, that's all for today. Go Spurs, Go Spurs, go
- 49:06Speaker 3: el Spurs, Spurs, Spurs, Spurs, Spurs. You know who's had
- 49:10Speaker 3: a rough go of it's the Cubs. They're only like
- 49:12Speaker 3: three games over right now, but man, they've.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Had a rough. They lose like ten was awful.
- 49:17Speaker 3: They won last night, but there was a Yeah, so
- 49:20Speaker 3: go get watching those every every day. I watch some
- 49:24Speaker 3: of a lot, not some of all, never all of any,
- 49:29Speaker 3: but I watched some of a lot.
