- 0:08Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on w r.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Rich Myrtle Beach. Rich,
- 0:15Speaker 1: how you.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Doing pretty good? Thanks?
- 0:18Speaker 4: Mark? And watching Trump on TV since you have no TV.
- 0:21Speaker 4: He's got Bobby and doctor Ols there. He's doing a
- 0:23Speaker 4: Royal health Care Facilities Act and he's putting fifty billion
- 0:27Speaker 4: dollars in to take care of the royal hospitals being
- 0:30Speaker 4: overrun the stuff. But he is hammering Obama and the
- 0:33Speaker 4: Unaffordable Care Act where he's letting them have it. You know,
- 0:36Speaker 4: I was saw Keem Jeffries and some of these people
- 0:38Speaker 4: on TV. These people don't have an IQ high enough
- 0:41Speaker 4: to come in out of the ring. These people literally
- 0:44Speaker 4: stupid and they're talking to us and outright ring like
- 0:47Speaker 4: we're stupider than nail.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Yeah, lets some of them have an IQ. Hakeem Jeffries definitely,
- 0:51Speaker 1: I definitely not.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I mean IQ.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I would guess it looks like a moron.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Yeah, just looking at you said, this guy's a dot.
- 0:57Speaker 1: IQ eighty five. Maybe maybe I'm being genris there.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Put you above what is eighty five?
- 1:04Speaker 2: What's that level?
- 1:06Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:07Speaker 3: You'd be uh.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Functionable?
- 1:11Speaker 1: Functional? Functional? You can always tell looking at his face.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Nothing moves, he's no expression. You know you normally you
- 1:19Speaker 1: try to have your expression match what you're saying. He
- 1:20Speaker 1: can't even handle that. He just looks like a robot talking.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Let's go to doctor Bob, a great surgeon in Long Island.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Doctor Bob.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Thanks Mark, Yes, Mark. You know, I think Pam Bonni
- 1:32Speaker 2: is terrific, but I think she's a bit overwhelmed. Someone
- 1:35Speaker 2: like Joe Degenival might be someone to butchers her up.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Or you know Jojjennefer, brilliant, brilliant, he's a brilliant former prosecutor.
- 1:44Speaker 1: He's a much older guy and he's been out of
- 1:46Speaker 1: the game for a long time. I think, Uh, Pam BONDI,
- 1:49Speaker 1: you need somebody who's been doing it. It's like you, you're
- 1:51Speaker 1: a surgeon. You don't want an old retired guy from
- 1:53Speaker 1: twenty years ago doing the surgeon.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I don't no season, the seasoning, he knows the situation.
- 1:58Speaker 1: No, no, no, he'd be a great counselor. But you
- 2:00Speaker 1: can't have them. Actually, I mean I'm asking you a
- 2:03Speaker 1: serious question. As a great surgeon, would you let a
- 2:05Speaker 1: guy who was great twenty years ago but hasn't worked
- 2:08Speaker 1: in ten years? Would you let him come in and
- 2:09Speaker 1: do surgery?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Well, I think that's a different situation, though, I think
- 2:15Speaker 2: that's not ideal. But the season, the things that's going
- 2:18Speaker 2: on between the years is what counts.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, but that Pam BONDI doing a much
- 2:23Speaker 1: better job than a lot of our Attorney General's Bill
- 2:25Speaker 1: Barr and well, not as.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Much as accomplished. It's a little slow going. Let's hope we.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Write time different time. He hasn't even been there a year.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You're right, You're right, Okay, I'll give a time.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Hey, you work at a major hospital, right, absolutely?
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So the nurses go on strike here in New York City,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and I said, well, how are they running these hospitals
- 2:42Speaker 1: where they said they brought in twenty four hundred traveling nurses?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Traveling nurses you can bring in when you how do
- 2:48Speaker 1: you get twenty four hundred of them? Just like that?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Pretty amazing?
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I don't know the actual what they've actually
- 2:55Speaker 2: done here, but I'll tell you the problem is the
- 2:58Speaker 2: unions when they have you who's involved with healthcare, it
- 3:02Speaker 2: really gets involved. I've been in hospitals with and without
- 3:05Speaker 2: the unions, and there's a world of difference. You have
- 3:07Speaker 2: a real team effort in a place that does not
- 3:09Speaker 2: have the union and nurses, nurse assistance and all the rest.
- 3:13Speaker 1: A very good point, doctor Bob, thanks for calling. Let's
- 3:15Speaker 1: go to Mara in Nevada. Mara, how you doing so good?
- 3:19Speaker 5: I'm talking to you Mark. This Sunday is going to
- 3:22Speaker 5: be a significant birthday for our Vincent. I'll let him
- 3:26Speaker 5: fill you in on the numbers.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Well, that's up to Vincent. You know, I don't know.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It doesn't look that old.
- 3:32Speaker 5: But I didn't say did I. Did I give you
- 3:35Speaker 5: a year?
- 3:36Speaker 4: Yes?
- 3:36Speaker 5: Significantly caught up to my kids. They're all around the
- 3:39Speaker 5: same thing. Okay, how he's the youngest of all of them. Yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 5: so Mark, isn't it unbelievable that if George you are well,
- 3:48Speaker 5: had to write a book today? How would he write
- 3:50Speaker 5: about these illegal crooks coming into this country that they
- 3:55Speaker 5: wanted in their own countries, and the governors and the
- 3:59Speaker 5: may is protecting them in the United States of America.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Who could write that book and make it believable?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Well, plenty of people could, but any great writer. But
- 4:10Speaker 1: it's a good point. Mark, thanks for Colin. You ever
- 4:12Speaker 1: hear that stupid expression people when they're talking about something, go,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you can't make this up. I can't make this stuff up.
- 4:18Speaker 1: That's the worst expression in the world. Offends every great writer, screenwriter.
- 4:22Speaker 1: There are people that can make up any In fact,
- 4:26Speaker 1: every time I've been with a writer, somebody's wow, boy,
- 4:28Speaker 1: you can't make this up. Yes I can. That's what
- 4:30Speaker 1: they do for a living. It's like saying a rod seiling, boy,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you can't make that up. He just did. Oh, let's
- 4:37Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Good morning Mark, Good morning Mary? And what marriage speaking about?
- 4:43Speaker 3: You can't make this up. I will turn seventy five
- 4:48Speaker 3: this Sunday.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Wow, well you look pretty good for your age.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Well, thank you very much, Bob Mark. As far as
- 4:57Speaker 3: you know this whole healthcare mess, I don't think anybody
- 5:02Speaker 3: a family of four where the net income is like
- 5:07Speaker 3: two hundred and fifty thousand dollars or more should be
- 5:10Speaker 3: getting the government subsidy. As Robert F. Kennedy says, many
- 5:16Speaker 3: legislators people who are making six hundred thousand dollars are
- 5:20Speaker 3: getting healthcare subsidies. That is not that's not cool. Pay
- 5:25Speaker 3: for your own healthcare. Mark, well better than that.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's called the Affordable Care Act. If it's so affordable,
- 5:31Speaker 1: you need a subsidy. Make it affordable, then you.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Don't have to give it a Well, do like what
- 5:36Speaker 3: Donald Trump and his team are trying to do, you know,
- 5:40Speaker 3: get all the bums off first of all, and fix
- 5:45Speaker 3: it up, you know, make it the Affordable Care Act
- 5:48Speaker 3: rather the Obamacare Unaffordable CARECT.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Well.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Actually, most smart business people look at this Obamacare and
- 5:54Speaker 1: said it's absolutely ridiculous. It all favors the insurance company.
- 5:57Speaker 1: They can raise the prices to whatever charge whatever. They're
- 6:00Speaker 1: huge profits, and they say, just get the healthcare and
- 6:04Speaker 1: the patient together, get all these middlemen out of it,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and you'll bring the price down exactly.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Mark. Kathy Hulko yesterday announced that she's going to introduce
- 6:15Speaker 3: legislation bill in the New York State Legislator that ednie
- 6:20Speaker 3: as she says, migrant who was wrongfully picked up by
- 6:25Speaker 3: an Ice agent and perhaps even you know Durdan there
- 6:30Speaker 3: try and escape got hurt, would be allowed to personally
- 6:34Speaker 3: sue the Ice agent.
- 6:36Speaker 1: What I say, way, you Guys, Remember she's running for reelection.
- 6:41Speaker 1: She's got to face Bruce Blakeman in the debate. He's
- 6:43Speaker 1: a great debater, he's a great speaker. He's gonna wipe
- 6:46Speaker 1: her out in the debate. A lot of these bills
- 6:48Speaker 1: are fake. She's just proposing him so in the debate
- 6:50Speaker 1: when he hits her with something, she can say, well,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I'm the one that proposed the bill. You can't sue
- 6:55Speaker 1: an ice agent. They've got federal immunity, government immunity. It's
- 6:58Speaker 1: impossible to sue them.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Oh, unfortunately they took away to qualified community.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's New York, that's New York City police, federal agents.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Federal agents still have total immunity. You can't see them.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Thank thank god for that. But why doesn't she introduced
- 7:12Speaker 3: legislation that a citizen could sue one of the New
- 7:15Speaker 3: York state legislators if they were harmed again, criminals.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm just telling you anything. Any legislation she proposes is
- 7:23Speaker 1: only to cover herself for when she's in the debate
- 7:26Speaker 1: with Bruce Blakeman, So she can respond by saying, I'm
- 7:28Speaker 1: the one that proposed the bill to just to cover
- 7:32Speaker 1: her her reer. Vincent, great call, thanks for calling. When
- 7:35Speaker 1: we come back, oh, Rhonda Sheer will be with us next.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Wants to talk to her about on seven to ten
- 7:41Speaker 1: wor
