- 1:20Speaker 4: I'm dealing really really funky insect bite.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Oh really yeah, and we're it's huge.
- 1:26Speaker 4: It's on my arm and it looks like I don't
- 1:28Speaker 4: know the holes. Yeah, it looks like just one, but
- 1:32Speaker 4: there looks like there's a blister.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Right check it. Oh my god, dude. Something that's an
- 1:37Speaker 2: effing welt. Something, guys, that's a that's like a wasp
- 1:40Speaker 2: or something.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I was worried it was a round recluse because I
- 1:42Speaker 4: started to notice a circle around it before I started
- 1:45Speaker 4: really scratching at it.
- 1:46Speaker 2: You got hit hard. That's bad. I mean, that's a
- 1:49Speaker 2: gnarly little bump, dude. You see if you can get
- 1:51Speaker 2: it on camera. It's on an open wound, but it's
- 1:54Speaker 2: pretty I mean, she's got a pretty good welt there
- 1:56Speaker 2: on her arm.
- 1:57Speaker 3: You see it.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, look at that, My god, look at the
- 2:00Speaker 2: cut it off. Oh my, you've lost that arm. That's
- 2:05Speaker 2: a brown. That's the flesh eating back to that's the
- 2:08Speaker 2: that's the insect bite. I fear the most. And I
- 2:11Speaker 2: don't know. I just noticed it a little bit yesterday.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Oh my, so you got swollen. That is you've been
- 2:20Speaker 2: fighting mm A or something. What's another scar together? Oh
- 2:22Speaker 2: that's just cat scratch vamp.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Okay, so listen.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, like if anyone knows.
- 2:29Speaker 3: But I didn't think that recluse. I didn't think recluse
- 2:32Speaker 3: bites swoll up like that.
- 2:34Speaker 4: And I've been doing some research. I don't know if
- 2:36Speaker 4: they do or not. And I all I know is
- 2:38Speaker 4: it's insanely itchy.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I think they just scratched. Literally, I think they just
- 2:42Speaker 2: melt a hole in you. Stop scratching.
- 2:44Speaker 6: Yes, take a picture of it and put it in
- 2:47Speaker 6: chat GPT and see what it says.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Oh god, don't do that because if it's a reconday,
- 2:50Speaker 2: it's a cobra bite or something, it's gonna give you
- 2:53Speaker 2: the worst pause. It's gonna be it's cancer. I'd rather
- 2:57Speaker 2: lean on our listeners.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Nurse everything.
- 2:59Speaker 6: It's answer, yeah exactly. I scratched myself doing a job today.
- 3:03Speaker 6: It's cancer, asking nurses everything is you should see a doctor?
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly exactly.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You ever had anything like that, buddy? I know that
- 3:11Speaker 2: thing is swollen.
- 3:12Speaker 4: I know you should put your I mean, Jimmy, I
- 3:15Speaker 4: mean it stopped in your tracks once you felt how
- 3:17Speaker 4: swollen it was.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Wow, dude, that is that that there's the point right there.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I think it's a wasp bite. That's what I think.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Do you remember getting hit? No, that's the thing with
- 3:25Speaker 3: the wasp bite. Did you feel it immediately?
- 3:27Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 3:28Speaker 6: She feels nothing on most days. Usually it's just her
- 3:33Speaker 6: emotions that are yeah, wow, alone in the rain.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Anything on it?
- 3:39Speaker 2: No, I mean tried to just try to keep it clean.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I've just been trying to keep an eye on it
- 3:43Speaker 4: to know what to do next, because at first.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I thought, oh, it's just a mosquito bite.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Dude.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I can see that thing from over here. That is gnarly.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yeah, right on the forearm, right yeah, let me put
- 3:53Speaker 4: it back on cameras. You guys can five arm For.
- 3:55Speaker 2: People who can't understand the size of it, it's like
- 3:57Speaker 2: a it's like a skull can lid. It's like a
- 4:00Speaker 2: three inch circle of swell there.
- 4:03Speaker 3: But that's bad.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Five arm tip your service. You need to go to
- 4:06Speaker 2: a doctor.
- 4:06Speaker 7: Wow.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Yeah, after the show made all right?
- 4:09Speaker 3: No, no, it's a it's a stink.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'll put some dirt in it.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's wild. Did you do anything outside?
- 4:15Speaker 4: No, I mean other than you know, sitting outside on
- 4:17Speaker 4: the front porch. I watered the plants over the weekend.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but you would know if a b hit you
- 4:22Speaker 2: or a wasp bit you feel it immediately. That's not
- 4:25Speaker 2: a what happened to here thing.
- 4:27Speaker 4: That's what makes me worry that maybe it was a
- 4:28Speaker 4: spider like in a sweater or a sweatshirt and hiding
- 4:31Speaker 4: in there and you don't know it's there, and then
- 4:33Speaker 4: you disturb it and it bites you, and.
- 4:35Speaker 3: And now I'm going to get in the kron don't
- 4:38Speaker 3: say you're going to.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I think that happens pretty quickly. I don't know, have
- 4:43Speaker 2: you ever googled any of those images.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Oh I did today. Do not do that.
- 4:46Speaker 2: No, I shouldn't have done that. That's the worst thing
- 4:48Speaker 2: you can do.
- 4:49Speaker 6: It's like google the images of that is gnarly.
- 4:54Speaker 3: That rush ever googled a brown recluse bite? Yeah, and
- 4:56Speaker 3: then the skin just starts like melting off. Yeah, that's weird.
- 5:00Speaker 3: But I think somebody said spider bykee. But I believe
- 5:02Speaker 3: with spider bites there are two pretty definitive puncture holes
- 5:05Speaker 3: for fangs.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Right, I don't think a spider. There's not one spider
- 5:08Speaker 2: that stings with it.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Could be a scorpion, no, because again I think I'm
- 5:13Speaker 4: just like, we're really blue sky in it. Maybe everything's
- 5:17Speaker 4: on the tabe. It's a dragon, a scorpions in this state.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I mean I had a scorpion in my shower one
- 5:22Speaker 4: time in Geneva. Dude, I have never seen a scorpion here. Yeah, dude,
- 5:25Speaker 4: there's scorpions here. Look at that thing.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Well, good luck. I hope you we should ask you
- 5:32Speaker 3: got to put a band aid or something. He goes
- 5:33Speaker 3: up scratching, and Jack's right, you don't want to itch
- 5:35Speaker 3: the top off of it.
- 5:36Speaker 4: No, And I'm trying to get a good enough light
- 5:38Speaker 4: that I could take a photo and do like what
- 5:40Speaker 4: Jack said, put it into jet cheap.
- 5:42Speaker 2: During the break. I'll hold my phone light out there,
- 5:44Speaker 2: see can take a big picture. Excellent. It kind of
- 5:46Speaker 2: looks like a little gem is just shooting out of
- 5:48Speaker 2: your arms.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Stuff.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It's like this little white bump used to doing stuff
- 5:51Speaker 2: with one hand. Too soon, Jack, Soon its way out there.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Zero three one today is one of my favorite National days.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's kind of silly, but just it's a childhood thing,
- 6:06Speaker 2: a day of anger, Ross, chicken nuggets.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Ross.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Were you as a kid, did you have an ice
- 6:11Speaker 2: cream truck in your neighborhood? Did you get to experience
- 6:14Speaker 2: like I don't know where that break is generationally where
- 6:17Speaker 2: people and kids got to experience the ice cream truck.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I don't see many of them anymore. But when we
- 6:22Speaker 2: were kids, like you know, back in the eighties and
- 6:24Speaker 2: stuff ice cream trucks where that might as well be Santa,
- 6:27Speaker 2: Like that was like there was a thing. It was
- 6:30Speaker 2: a summertime Santa.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Did you do you have did you have that? Naples?
- 6:33Speaker 3: I had a friend who lived in a neighborhood who
- 6:37Speaker 3: had an ice cream van and it's a van. Yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 3: they're vans now, yeah, yeah they are, you know, terrifying,
- 6:45Speaker 3: yes looking vans. Yeah, they're like old bread trucks. But
- 6:48Speaker 3: my neighborhood never had an ice cream truck. Oh really,
- 6:52Speaker 3: you would think ice cream trucks would have really enjoyed
- 6:54Speaker 3: you know, apartment complexes. Oh yeah, per surface area, that's
- 6:58Speaker 3: a lot of kids.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah. Man, if you want to get kids
- 7:01Speaker 2: like in my old neighborhood, if you wanted to get
- 7:02Speaker 2: kids to come to you, like for any reason, you
- 7:05Speaker 2: just play that ice cream truck song and I don't
- 7:07Speaker 2: care what. They've come out of the ground and come
- 7:09Speaker 2: running towards you like they were zombies. But today is
- 7:12Speaker 2: national bomb pop Day. Bomb pop? Bomb pop? Is we
- 7:16Speaker 2: call them rocket pops? Oh the ones you have to push?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Yeah no, no, no, that's a pop. That's a push up.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Rocket pops were the white on the bottom, red in
- 7:23Speaker 3: the middle. And then okay, so did you call them
- 7:26Speaker 3: rocket pops.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Or was a bomb pop where you grew up, Jack,
- 7:29Speaker 6: I thought that was bomb pop.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 2: They call them rocket yeah, well they say they look,
- 7:33Speaker 2: they call them a number of things. They call them
- 7:35Speaker 2: bomb pops, but I always call them rocket pops.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And then I'm thinking rocket, there's something. There's something else
- 7:42Speaker 3: that I call them, which is what bomb pop is.
- 7:44Speaker 3: The red white and blue. Yeah yeah, the red white
- 7:46Speaker 3: blue is called like something.
- 7:51Speaker 2: God, it's very phallic. Yeah all are yeah, well not really,
- 7:55Speaker 2: the wide ones, aren't you doesn't look like the double ones.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You have the double popsicles from back on the day, now.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, I remember that. Then you would break
- 8:04Speaker 3: it off kind of like a kid cat Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 3: but no, it was like astro astro pop, astro pop.
- 8:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I think they had a bunch of names. Dude, God,
- 8:12Speaker 2: this is killing me. Yeah, bottle pop I think it
- 8:14Speaker 2: was another one. But uh man, the ice cream truck
- 8:17Speaker 2: back in the day in the summer, and it's so
- 8:18Speaker 2: blazing hot outside, and of course you don't ever remember
- 8:21Speaker 2: it being hot when you're a kid, because I mean,
- 8:24Speaker 2: we couldn't go inside, and even if we did, my
- 8:25Speaker 2: grandmother's house didn't have air conditioning, so it did not matter.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It was the same in or out. Actually it was
- 8:30Speaker 2: better outside than that breeze. So when that ice cream
- 8:34Speaker 2: truck would come by, that would be the one thing
- 8:37Speaker 2: that my grandmother would spurge for the kids, because we
- 8:39Speaker 2: didn't you know, we kind of grew up humbly, but
- 8:41Speaker 2: she would always scratch, scratch around and find a couple
- 8:44Speaker 2: of dollars so all the kids could go out and
- 8:45Speaker 2: get like some ice cream that they liked, and we
- 8:47Speaker 2: all got the same thing.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Well, I gotta admit, I mean, it's still sweet to see,
- 8:51Speaker 4: but it is a little gnarly. When you see like
- 8:54Speaker 4: a wreck van rolling around with magnets of ice creams
- 8:57Speaker 4: on the side of it, You're like, is this gonna
- 8:58Speaker 4: be another scene from front or is this a legit thing?
- 9:02Speaker 7: Here?
- 9:02Speaker 2: The worst is when they when they take like just
- 9:05Speaker 2: regular tape, like that boxing tape, and they print a
- 9:08Speaker 2: picture of it out and put it up there as
- 9:10Speaker 2: if it's an menu, and all of the descriptions are
- 9:12Speaker 2: in mailbox letters, the ones you buy it lows when
- 9:15Speaker 2: you kill them off there and they're all sideways, and
- 9:17Speaker 2: if I'm like.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Who did this exactly? What don't you just say we're
- 9:20Speaker 6: Cereal serial killers and get away from the ice cream thing?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yeah, once you got away from like the easy to
- 9:26Speaker 3: distinguish ice cream truck into van, Yeah, I think that's
- 9:29Speaker 3: actually the cross roads moment where society started to fall apart.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that's when innocence died. Yeah, I mean
- 9:36Speaker 6: it would be like ice cream. This cost, this is
- 9:38Speaker 6: that cost, and this is that cost.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Abductions free, just come in the back.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Free puppies for all children. They got them. You look
- 9:45Speaker 3: at the person giving you the ice cream. It's no
- 9:48Speaker 3: country for old men.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Haircut.
- 9:50Speaker 3: It's got this little berries and cream kind of thing
- 9:53Speaker 3: going on.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's Anton sugur with that, with that cow killing thing.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Missing one buck tooth you want to bob one.
- 10:01Speaker 4: By the way, I want to thank all the listeners
- 10:03Speaker 4: weighing in at seven seven zero three one. But you
- 10:05Speaker 4: can stop telling me giving me advice because you're scaring me.
- 10:08Speaker 6: Oh really Yeah, you mean about the bite. But the bite, Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 6: we need to rub a bomb pop on.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It might not someone suggesting tobacco. Tobacco is an old
- 10:18Speaker 2: school thing.
- 10:18Speaker 4: That's what they said. It's an old country boy remedy. Yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 4: you draw out the poison.
- 10:22Speaker 2: That's exactly my grandmother. It's true, dude. My grandmother take
- 10:25Speaker 2: a big old water of a redman and set it
- 10:28Speaker 2: right on there, like wrap taper on it, hold it
- 10:29Speaker 2: against there. They did that because that's what they had. Yeah,
- 10:32Speaker 2: and that's all I had. Well, here's the thing.
- 10:34Speaker 3: They could tell you that they knew you didn't know
- 10:36Speaker 3: any better, so you just.
- 10:38Speaker 6: Had to buy it. That's probably half my upbringing. By
- 10:41Speaker 6: the way, somebody just tough. My dad told me that
- 10:44Speaker 6: I thought was true. I just ran drawing save tobacco.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Somebody did text us though, and let us know that
- 10:48Speaker 4: Twisted Tea has a bomb pop flavor.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Do they really that's a very trendy flavor for the
- 10:54Speaker 6: big USA two fifty celebrations. Well, the hard teas are
- 10:57Speaker 6: making like a big push against the Selteris right now.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Jack will tell me about one that he has that
- 11:01Speaker 6: he likes a lot. I think we're maybe going to
- 11:03Speaker 6: have a relationship here with Sun Cruise. Yeah, man, that's
- 11:07Speaker 6: kind of cool. I mean that the Seltzers are kind
- 11:09Speaker 6: of losing some steam, but these teas are kind of
- 11:11Speaker 6: taking up a little bit.
- 11:12Speaker 3: The hard teas.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not a new thing. I mean, Mike's hard
- 11:15Speaker 2: Limonade and Mike's hard t these things have been around
- 11:17Speaker 2: for a while. I haven't seen a lot of hard
- 11:19Speaker 2: teas in Florida.
- 11:20Speaker 3: No Ah, it's a little too hot out.
- 11:26Speaker 2: You spent a lot of time in the villages all right,
- 11:28Speaker 2: seven seven zero three one. That's how you text us
- 11:30Speaker 2: to have got some news.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Yes, I do.
- 11:32Speaker 4: We're going to talk about Rubio says Florida will help
- 11:35Speaker 4: Venezuela quake victims. Dozens of Floridians are nabbed in a
- 11:39Speaker 4: massive healthcare fraud scheme. And if you want to catch
- 11:42Speaker 4: a car thief, there's an app for that. We'll talk
- 11:45Speaker 4: about that and more coming up next during JCS news.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You got all right, let's take a little break back
- 11:49Speaker 2: with Dev's news and more than Jim Colbert show.
- 11:51Speaker 9: Three limited edition flavors for the two fifty.
- 11:55Speaker 3: They had dope pickled.
- 11:56Speaker 9: Flavored bag means apple pie baked beans, and yes, they
- 12:00Speaker 9: have a rocket.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Pop flavor of bat beams out of here. Just sounds awful.
- 12:06Speaker 2: This buddy, It sounds terrible.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Yeah. When I was a kid, my dad set the
- 12:12Speaker 5: ice cream truck to our house and when he left,
- 12:15Speaker 5: we found our cat ended up looking like build a cat,
- 12:18Speaker 5: its eyes popped out, ran everybody the ice cream man.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Ice cream Man never came back. That's all the story.
- 12:26Speaker 10: Love Blessings has always you know, hell funny enough. In
- 12:31Speaker 10: the last year or so, there's been an ice cream
- 12:33Speaker 10: truck coming into my community every once in a while,
- 12:37Speaker 10: not every not every week. But the music is the
- 12:41Speaker 10: same ice cream truck music whatever remixed it to, like
- 12:45Speaker 10: ofro beat man.
- 12:47Speaker 3: I kid you not.
- 12:48Speaker 10: I'm on my driveway one day and the ice cream
- 12:50Speaker 10: truck coming to and I find myself rocking to the
- 12:52Speaker 10: beat from the ice cream truck man.
- 12:55Speaker 3: All right, what did I go to? Joke over show?
- 12:56Speaker 2: We're already at one to four point one. Remember we
- 12:59Speaker 2: have a few seat it's left for the poker tournament.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Cannot believe it made it to the day, but they're there.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Real Radio dot FM slash Poker if you want to
- 13:05Speaker 2: join us in August for the flagship Real Radio event
- 13:08Speaker 2: featuring not only everybody at this radio station, but many
- 13:11Speaker 2: other dignitaries from the Orlando area. Sit with them, enjoy
- 13:14Speaker 2: your time, food, drinks provided so much fun. Again, that's
- 13:17Speaker 2: Real Radio, dot FM, slash Poker. We hope to see
- 13:20Speaker 2: you in August. Welcome back on Jim, Jack and Ross.
- 13:22Speaker 2: All right over there and deb as your news.
- 13:25Speaker 1: It's time for JCS news.
- 13:29Speaker 11: Wow, that's this guy.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Kind of push name on everything.
- 13:31Speaker 2: It's in my contract ed.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Here's the news on the Jim Colmer Show.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And JCS News is brought to you by that mortgage
- 13:39Speaker 4: guy Don. Florida's Venezuelan community is racing to help after
- 13:43Speaker 4: a catastrophic double earthquake left at least one hundred and
- 13:46Speaker 4: eighty eight people dead, with hundreds more hurt, thousands missing,
- 13:50Speaker 4: and just absolutely shattered. Local Infrastructure Secretary is State Marco Rubio,
- 13:55Speaker 4: speaking from Bahrain.
- 13:57Speaker 2: The most immediately, the one they need right now is
- 13:59Speaker 2: search and rescue.
- 14:00Speaker 7: That's the one they need immediately because you got to
- 14:01Speaker 7: get people out of that rubble within forty eight hours
- 14:03Speaker 7: or they won't survive.
- 14:04Speaker 4: And with communication grids down in Venezuela, local relief groups
- 14:08Speaker 4: are already loading supply trucks this afternoon. You got a
- 14:10Speaker 4: lot of Venezuelan restaurants. You know, everyone is desperately trying
- 14:14Speaker 4: to reach family, both with no electricity, no towers.
- 14:17Speaker 2: When you look at some of the coastal areas there,
- 14:19Speaker 2: it literally looks like Godzilla went through there. Buildings just
- 14:22Speaker 2: toppled over, crumbled. It looks like a I tell you what,
- 14:25Speaker 2: it looks like a rendering of what what would look
- 14:28Speaker 2: like after nuclear war. And it's funny kind of what
- 14:30Speaker 2: it looks like.
- 14:31Speaker 4: It's funny you mentioned Godzilla because that was one of
- 14:34Speaker 4: four earthquakes yesterday. You had a seven point two hit Japan, right,
- 14:37Speaker 4: and a five point six that hit northern California crazy,
- 14:41Speaker 4: and then you have a seven point two and a
- 14:43Speaker 4: minute later a seven point five.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I read something that it's like, the chances of this
- 14:48Speaker 3: happening is a once out of like over a thousand years.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Well, this is actually the strongest earthquakes that have hit
- 14:54Speaker 4: Venezuela in over one hundred years.
- 14:56Speaker 2: So yeah, but just like it's very rare for them.
- 14:59Speaker 2: The two backup. Oh yeah, very that's even more rare.
- 15:03Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:03Speaker 4: The other big story of the day, the White House
- 15:06Speaker 4: borders are thinks the Supreme Court made the right call
- 15:08Speaker 4: with today's decision to allow the Trump administration to end
- 15:12Speaker 4: a temporary protected status to more than three hundred thousand
- 15:15Speaker 4: Haitians and six thousand Syrians living in the US.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Temporary muse temporary. When the condition that country gets better,
- 15:22Speaker 3: they need to go home.
- 15:23Speaker 4: So Tom Homan says, no other administration quote had the
- 15:26Speaker 4: guts end quote to follow the statute, which grants temporary
- 15:29Speaker 4: protections while the country is in turmoil or following a
- 15:32Speaker 4: natural disaster. In the meantime, Florida's Haitian community is also
- 15:36Speaker 4: reacting to that ruling. Haitian advocate Gepsi Mattella says, even
- 15:41Speaker 4: the US State Department doesn't think it's safe for Americans
- 15:44Speaker 4: to travel to Haiti.
- 15:45Speaker 12: The Supreme Courote can say it is okay to send
- 15:49Speaker 12: these people back under these sets of circumstances is just
- 15:53Speaker 12: beyond belief.
- 15:54Speaker 13: Beyond belief.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Also, the Secretary of Royal Caribbean says that you can't
- 15:59Speaker 2: go to Haiti. They literally nicked that stop from their
- 16:02Speaker 2: cruise tenure, their cruise tenerary. Yeah, you can't go there anymore. Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 2: which is amazing.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Yeah, because Jack, were you the one that had been
- 16:13Speaker 4: to Haiti or was it you Jimmy?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, lobby E. It's just like, here's the thing.
- 16:17Speaker 2: It's a beach that's been roped off for people who
- 16:19Speaker 2: have who are on Royal Caribbean cruises. But to go
- 16:22Speaker 2: to the big to the big attraction there, which is
- 16:24Speaker 2: is it the terodactyl or whatever it is? The Yeah,
- 16:27Speaker 2: the zip Lot's a zipline depper that goes down a
- 16:30Speaker 2: frickin mountain. It's really kind of unbelievable. But you have
- 16:32Speaker 2: to leave the resort to go up to where the
- 16:35Speaker 2: launch area is.
- 16:36Speaker 4: That's got to be a fun bus ride.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Closed your window and just look forward.
- 16:42Speaker 13: Well.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Miami Dade County has the largest concentration of Haitians in
- 16:46Speaker 4: the US, with more than one hundred and eighty thousand
- 16:49Speaker 4: Haitian born residents in South Florida. The High Court voted
- 16:52Speaker 4: sixty three to allow the Trump administration to remove deportation
- 16:55Speaker 4: protections for Haitians living in the US since the twenty
- 16:59Speaker 4: ten earthquake that killed over how many people do you guys?
- 17:02Speaker 4: Remember that earthquake in twenty ten killing on the island
- 17:05Speaker 4: nation of Haiti of Haiti.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Six thousand, Oh, you are cute.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Oh thirty thousand, Oh wow, well thirty five thousand, let
- 17:19Speaker 6: me just grab the wind.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Three hundred thousand.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Wow.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Really, three hundred thousand people?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Unreal? Oh wes.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Jury deliberations continue today in the Palisades Fire arson trial
- 17:29Speaker 4: in California. The jury did not reach a verdict on Wednesday.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Jonathan Rinder NACTA Bervard County, is accused of intentionally starting
- 17:36Speaker 4: the Lochman Fire, which was the precursor to the deadly
- 17:40Speaker 4: Palisades fire in early twenty twenty five. Prosecutors say Rindernack,
- 17:43Speaker 4: who was working as an uber driver at the time,
- 17:46Speaker 4: was motivated by his resentment toward the wealthy. The defense
- 17:50Speaker 4: argues there is no direct evidence linking him with the fire,
- 17:53Speaker 4: and says it was actually caused by an errant fireworks
- 17:57Speaker 4: that was lit during New Year's celebrations. Rinder Nect is
- 18:00Speaker 4: facing three arson related federal charges. He faces up to
- 18:03Speaker 4: forty five years in prison if convicted of each of them. Okay,
- 18:08Speaker 4: let the amount of time that he could face in prison.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Just sit in your mind again for a little bit
- 18:12Speaker 4: before I do the next story. Right this guy, what
- 18:16Speaker 4: six billion dollars in damage? I think it's far more
- 18:19Speaker 4: than that out in California. Oh yeah, more like forty
- 18:21Speaker 4: billion dollars, twelve people killed, facing forty five years in
- 18:25Speaker 4: prison if convicted of each of them.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Okay, Well.
- 18:27Speaker 4: An NFL player is scheduled to make his first court
- 18:29Speaker 4: appearance in his criminal case today in Hillsborough County, Detroit.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Lyons cornerback Terry and Arnold is facing multiple counts of
- 18:37Speaker 4: kidnapping an armed robbery tied to a violent incident earlier
- 18:40Speaker 4: this year in Tampa, prosecutors accuse him of coordinating with
- 18:44Speaker 4: other individuals to lure three men to an apartment where
- 18:48Speaker 4: they were beaten, robbed, and held at gunpoint. Arnold had
- 18:52Speaker 4: early reported to police that two hundred thousand dollars in
- 18:55Speaker 4: personal items were stolen from an airbnb he owned, and
- 18:58Speaker 4: officials say he began planning retaliation within hours. Arnold is
- 19:02Speaker 4: currently being held without bond in Tampa and could serve
- 19:06Speaker 4: life in prison if convicted.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Wow Wow.
- 19:12Speaker 4: The Lions said they are aware of the situation but
- 19:15Speaker 4: will not comment due to quote the ongoing legal process
- 19:18Speaker 4: end quotes.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Has it in my career? Oh?
- 19:20Speaker 2: I forgot I actually throw it away and that is crazy.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Is he still an active player?
- 19:27Speaker 3: I believe so. Yeah, I believe so. He didn't throw
- 19:30Speaker 3: it away, he fumbled it for the win through the upright.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Police chief in Bervard County is out of a job.
- 19:42Speaker 3: The city of Titusville announced yesterday it had fired police
- 19:45Speaker 3: chief John Lowe for violating city policy. The city manager
- 19:49Speaker 3: says Lao refused to take a drug test after he
- 19:53Speaker 3: crashed a city vehicle Tuesday night on Barnard Road. He
- 19:57Speaker 3: had run off the road and flipped the vehicle several
- 19:59Speaker 3: times times absolutely totaling the vehicle. Nothing can be saved
- 20:03Speaker 3: for it now, LAO talk about fumbling. Started his career
- 20:06Speaker 3: with the department in nineteen ninety two and was promoted
- 20:09Speaker 3: to police chief in twenty thirteen. He was terminated on Wednesday.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Deputy Chief Tyler Wright is now the interim chief. Ups.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, oops, long arm of the law. A fourteen
- 20:22Speaker 4: year old murder mystery in Orange County may be solved.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Calvin Washington was arrested this week for killing a woman
- 20:29Speaker 4: in twenty twelve and Pine Hills. The fifty three year
- 20:32Speaker 4: old woman was working at a restaurant on North Pine
- 20:35Speaker 4: Hills Road when Washington allegedly shot her to death during
- 20:38Speaker 4: a robbery. The thirty four year old Washington is already
- 20:41Speaker 4: behind bars for beating his girlfriend in Marion County and
- 20:44Speaker 4: stabbing her neighbor. What a gem, What a gem. This
- 20:48Speaker 4: guy is a terror, the first one you invite to Thanksgiving.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Wow.
- 20:52Speaker 4: The Sheriff's office says advances in DNA testing and analysis
- 20:56Speaker 4: led cold case detectives to Washington, and he's charged with
- 20:59Speaker 4: first degree murder.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And all right.
- 21:01Speaker 4: A Central Florida man convicted of fatally stabbing his wife
- 21:04Speaker 4: is said to be executed this evening at Florida State Prison.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Seventy four year old Dusty Ray Spencer will receive a
- 21:11Speaker 4: lethal injection for murdering his wife, Karen, at their Orange
- 21:14Speaker 4: County home in nineteen ninety two. Spencer's appeals were rejected
- 21:17Speaker 4: by the state Supreme Court, and this will be Florida's
- 21:20Speaker 4: ninth execution of the year.
- 21:23Speaker 3: All right.
- 21:24Speaker 4: The Ostiola County Sheriff's office is announcing a pair of
- 21:26Speaker 4: arrest following a major fraud investigation.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Man, this just makes you wonder.
- 21:31Speaker 4: So the husband and wife duo are accused of operating
- 21:35Speaker 4: multiple unlicensed assisted living facilities. I think it's like three
- 21:38Speaker 4: homes in Ostiola County where they found up to like
- 21:41Speaker 4: thirty eight patients staying in there.
- 21:43Speaker 8: Wow.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Sheriff Blackman says, Ronald Pack and Marie Caernan illegally ran
- 21:47Speaker 4: excuse me, eight homes.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Wow, Eight homes.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Where residents were denied access to proper food, medicine, proper
- 21:55Speaker 4: medical care. The case is still under investigation, but the
- 21:59Speaker 4: sheriff says it was just absolutely heartbreaking the scenes that
- 22:03Speaker 4: they saw inside those hunhs.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I can only imagine man.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah, just disgusting, all right.
- 22:07Speaker 4: A Justice Department crackdown on healthcare fraud results in dozens
- 22:11Speaker 4: of arrests here in Florida. US attorney Jason quein Yona
- 22:14Speaker 4: says three dozen people from Florida are among the four
- 22:17Speaker 4: hundred and fifty five people charged in a six point
- 22:21Speaker 4: five billion dollars scammed.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Damn is anybody doing legitimate business?
- 22:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Is just everything is scammed?
- 22:28Speaker 3: It seems that way.
- 22:29Speaker 4: FBI Miami Field Office Special Agent in charge Brett Skiles
- 22:33Speaker 4: says the suspects will be prosecuted to the fullest.
- 22:36Speaker 14: Florida's twenty twenty five Medicare fraud estimates would range anywhere
- 22:40Speaker 14: from over three hundred million to one billion dollars. Simply put,
- 22:43Speaker 14: South Florida offers froster's environment to exploit some of our
- 22:47Speaker 14: most vulnerable populations.
- 22:48Speaker 2: So this is some of anyone know where Rick Scott is, No, he's.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Too busy, like you know, Huppie wants a cookie book.
- 22:58Speaker 4: A Ratone cardiologist is accused of billing insurers for ninety
- 23:03Speaker 4: million dollars of unneeded tests. A Miami man orchestrated a
- 23:07Speaker 4: three billion dollars scheme billing Medicare and Medicaid for phantom
- 23:12Speaker 4: medical supplies. Florida's Attorney General says fraud won't be tolerated here.
- 23:16Speaker 4: The suspects will be prosecuted to the fullest.
- 23:19Speaker 2: This is good news.
- 23:20Speaker 4: A hospital in Polk County is now giving the highest
- 23:22Speaker 4: level of trauma care available. Lakeland Regional Health announced Tuesday
- 23:27Speaker 4: it has been designated a Level one Trauma center by
- 23:30Speaker 4: the Florida Department of Health. Jimmy and I were talking
- 23:32Speaker 4: about that. I believe up until now ORMC had been
- 23:35Speaker 4: the only Level one trauma hospital within like a twelve
- 23:40Speaker 4: county radius.
- 23:40Speaker 2: It seems like that is huge. That is huge.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Because during those horrific car accidents, normally a lot of times,
- 23:47Speaker 4: a Level one trauma center is the only place available
- 23:50Speaker 4: with the care that you're gonna need. So Chief Medical Officer,
- 23:53Speaker 4: Doctor Timothy Reagan says, this means the hospital can treat
- 23:56Speaker 4: all family members after a traumatic event. Speaking of a
- 24:01Speaker 4: traumatic event. Carnival Cruise Line, Oh.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Known for their classiciness and contegrity.
- 24:10Speaker 8: Thank you so much for that Rouse That was the
- 24:12Speaker 8: best because yea, yeah, they have slapped how many passengers
- 24:16Speaker 8: with a lifetime ban after a violent brawl at Port Miami.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Don't go to Craig Cray, but let's just say it's
- 24:22Speaker 4: more than two forty thirty.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Shoot the g I don't want to shoot the guy out.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Sometimes no go out.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Sometimes the gap needs shoot it thirty I said forty
- 24:34Speaker 2: go twenty twenty five.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Zero point sixteen oh sixteen passengers got a lifetime ban
- 24:42Speaker 4: because of the chaotic chare throwing fight inside terminal D
- 24:46Speaker 4: occurred as travelers or waiting to clear customs Monday morning
- 24:49Speaker 4: after docking on the Conquest.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 4: The Miami Day Police responded to restore order, though no
- 24:55Speaker 4: arrests were made. Carnival says it has zero tolerance for
- 24:58Speaker 4: disruptive behavior.
- 25:00Speaker 2: You think there's a blacklist for cruise agencies like there
- 25:04Speaker 2: is with casinos. What do you mean if you cheat
- 25:07Speaker 2: in a casino in Vegas? There is All the casino
- 25:10Speaker 2: owners know each other, and there's a network where they
- 25:13Speaker 2: let each other know who the cheater card counters. People
- 25:16Speaker 2: who try to scam the casino, they all know who
- 25:18Speaker 2: they are. So when one gets blacklisted from one casino,
- 25:21Speaker 2: usually it's pretty much all the casinos know who they are,
- 25:25Speaker 2: and they're also blacklisted there as well. I wonder if
- 25:27Speaker 2: that happens with cruise ships.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I've always wondered that because like, if you've got a
- 25:31Speaker 4: lifetime banned from well, disney World, but you go to Disneyland, right,
- 25:36Speaker 4: do they know?
- 25:37Speaker 6: I think they know they How do they know?
- 25:40Speaker 3: It's the mouse the same database.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Our buddy Adam the Wu got rest of his soul
- 25:46Speaker 2: when he was on that list. He told me that
- 25:48Speaker 2: very thing, like if he tried to walk in there
- 25:50Speaker 2: and they would know, like they know is a face
- 25:53Speaker 2: scanning thing or whatever, because you remember he broke into
- 25:56Speaker 2: River Country and took all the pictures of all the
- 25:58Speaker 2: broken down rides and stuff because it's justind of board
- 26:00Speaker 2: it up, and Disney hates that kind of thing. Well, yeah,
- 26:02Speaker 2: they want to control that. When they found out who
- 26:04Speaker 2: he was, they banned him forever, and they wound up
- 26:06Speaker 2: letting him back. But I think he also said he
- 26:09Speaker 2: was banned from Disneyland as well because he went back
- 26:11Speaker 2: and forth. Well yeah, of course.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 6: I'm wonder if a ban on Carnival is also a
- 26:16Speaker 6: band on. Let's say, Holland America.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Or Royal right, Norwegian, or at least.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Holland America is a subsidiary of Carnival Incorporated.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I did not know that. Okay, that's an interesting point.
- 26:26Speaker 2: The celebrity is that of Royal, Right, yeah, so if
- 26:29Speaker 2: you do something stupid on Celebrity, I wonder if you're
- 26:30Speaker 2: banned on Royal and vice versa.
- 26:33Speaker 3: One Carnival cruise and it made this boy into a man.
- 26:39Speaker 2: So it's kind of like brand name and generic. Is
- 26:41Speaker 2: that kind of like what it's like?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, I think so. We have a listener.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Who is They say Universal banned them from all Universal
- 26:47Speaker 6: properties and hotels for life?
- 26:50Speaker 3: Whoa Yeah?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Did you do?
- 26:55Speaker 3: What happened?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Did you punch a meny? Did you want a Carbal Cruise?
- 27:00Speaker 3: Also, I would like to point out that the name
- 27:02Speaker 3: of my ship from Carnival was called Ecstasy. Oh oh no,
- 27:07Speaker 3: that applied, dude, I was double on Ecstasy.
- 27:14Speaker 4: And then finally, like I said in the t's for
- 27:17Speaker 4: the news, if you want to catch a man who
- 27:19Speaker 4: stole your car, there's an app for that. The Lake
- 27:21Speaker 4: County Sheriff's Office shared details yesterday of an incident last
- 27:24Speaker 4: month in Claremont. James Siegfried allegedly stole a family's minivan
- 27:30Speaker 4: at a gas station on State Road thirty three. Ah,
- 27:33Speaker 4: but one of the victims left their cell phone in
- 27:35Speaker 4: the car and that cell phone ad a GPS tracking
- 27:38Speaker 4: app dep but he's called in a drone that tracked
- 27:41Speaker 4: the minivan to Lake Luisa Road, where it was abandoned. Then,
- 27:44Speaker 4: thanks to K nine named gunner, Siegfried was found hiding
- 27:49Speaker 4: in the woods. I'm sure gently removed from hiding in
- 27:52Speaker 4: the woods and was arrested.
- 27:54Speaker 2: That is county dependent, by the way, Maybe in Orange
- 27:57Speaker 2: County you'll be guided out of the woods. Maybe in
- 28:00Speaker 2: Simonel County they'll guide you have the woods. In Pole
- 28:02Speaker 2: County by the feet, you will get dragged out of
- 28:05Speaker 2: the woods and be by your ass.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Another Sigfree done in by an animal.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Too soon.
- 28:13Speaker 4: So Sigfried is facing charges that include grand theft of
- 28:17Speaker 4: a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted
- 28:20Speaker 4: felon driving with the suspended license, and drug possession. Not
- 28:24Speaker 4: to mention, no streak cred for you. You're gonna go
- 28:27Speaker 4: to jail for stealing a mini van.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Dude for giking mom's car. It's a bad look.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Sometimes you got it. Yeah, you know it doesn't look
- 28:39Speaker 2: cool having to wait for that slider door to come
- 28:41Speaker 2: up and to steal your car.
- 28:42Speaker 6: When you're roaming the streets of GTA or cyberpunk, you know,
- 28:48Speaker 6: you take whatever vehicle comes.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Up next, and stealing an Odyssey sounds way cooler than
- 28:53Speaker 3: it really is.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Exactly, absolutely well, regardless, that concludes your JCS news.
- 29:03Speaker 2: All right for a seven one text that was very agro.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Very terminator at the same time, ready one, two three.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Too much was better the first time. Back in a second.
- 29:21Speaker 7: What's else?
- 29:21Speaker 15: Covi and a company? It's concrete, Mike, Sorry about any
- 29:24Speaker 15: background noise. I'm doing seventy five on a turnpike dab.
- 29:28Speaker 15: Definitely not a recluse bike. You'd have a big purple
- 29:31Speaker 15: grape in there and a red lion running down your arm.
- 29:34Speaker 15: My daughter almost lost her leg at two years old
- 29:36Speaker 15: because of a recluse bike. It's yellow fly season right
- 29:40Speaker 15: now or deer fly whatever you want to call them.
- 29:43Speaker 15: They bite you, takes a day or two to show up,
- 29:46Speaker 15: and they leave about a half dollar size welt on
- 29:48Speaker 15: your arm and get really itchy.
- 29:51Speaker 16: Hey, how's it Ohanah, Well, it's just a dab. Looking
- 29:54Speaker 16: at the size of that thing when you show us
- 29:57Speaker 16: onday YouTube.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Is the area warm? Yes?
- 30:01Speaker 16: And Is it firm to the touch or is the
- 30:03Speaker 16: area hard?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yes, you got to stop if it's.
- 30:06Speaker 16: Either one of those, indeed, you are going to need
- 30:09Speaker 16: to go to the doctor. You don't want cellulitis to form,
- 30:13Speaker 16: and that could be early stage cellulitis.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Helloha, hope you guys doing well. Jim, you said when
- 30:23Speaker 3: we want kids in the eighties, No way you were
- 30:27Speaker 3: getting in the eighties.
- 30:27Speaker 10: You're like forty five.
- 30:29Speaker 2: In the eighties.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Bye oh, I'm gonna punch you in your little face
- 30:33Speaker 3: when I see you in the Booker Tournament.
- 30:35Speaker 2: All right, well, you guys a crush on you. Welcome
- 30:37Speaker 2: back to the Jim Run Show. I can literally use
- 30:40Speaker 2: him as a chopstick. Seven seven zero three one. That's
- 30:43Speaker 2: how you text us. If you would like to leave
- 30:45Speaker 2: talk back like our friend there, you could do it.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Just grab the iHeartRadio app. Got a little radio and
- 30:49Speaker 2: send that right over. We love to hear from you, guys,
- 30:51Speaker 2: that's for sure. Well, I'm Jim, deb Jack and Rossell
- 30:54Speaker 2: all right here as well. Mostly we like to hear
- 30:56Speaker 2: from you, unless you say your arm's gonna rot off. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 2: you could say that.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Let me see that thing he.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Says, half dollar that's way scratching. That's way more than
- 31:04Speaker 2: a half dollar. And feel it. It is warm and
- 31:06Speaker 2: hard to the touch. Damn it is, dude, that's crazy.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I know. I loved how he gave that awful news,
- 31:13Speaker 3: that really sad diagnosis, and then he wrapped it up
- 31:16Speaker 3: with the saddest low ha.
- 31:20Speaker 2: He's like, in your arm's gonna fall off.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Hello, He's not gonna make it. I over heard things fine.
- 31:31Speaker 2: You know a minute ago we were talking about the
- 31:33Speaker 2: rocket pop, which we had a lot of text on,
- 31:35Speaker 2: but it's so funny. I didn't get to the other
- 31:37Speaker 2: part of that thing. Man, I don't know. Did you
- 31:39Speaker 2: guys do they still have I know seven eleven still
- 31:41Speaker 2: has slushies?
- 31:42Speaker 3: Right?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah?
- 31:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Did you guys remember icys? Oh yeah, slushy kmart?
- 31:49Speaker 6: Right it was, and that's what or just like they
- 31:51Speaker 6: had icy machines at like every place, but seven eleven.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I thought it started at seven eleven. I thought seven
- 31:56Speaker 2: eleven had icy machines and slushies were elsewhere. But this
- 32:00Speaker 2: you're thinking the slurpy, Oh, Slurpy, that's it. Seven to
- 32:04Speaker 2: eleven is the slurpy, that's right. Damn I could not
- 32:07Speaker 2: remember it. To save my life today. When I was
- 32:10Speaker 2: a kid, a cherry slurpee or a cherry Icy because
- 32:13Speaker 2: I got icyes because it was like a Jiffy store,
- 32:14Speaker 2: which one has the polar bear as the uh polo
- 32:19Speaker 2: cup no bear ice the red and blue with the
- 32:24Speaker 2: with the big white polar bear on it.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Icy ee yeah.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Right, icy, And that's what we see because if I
- 32:29Speaker 2: remember right, that was the po white version of the slurpy?
- 32:33Speaker 3: Is that what it was? The white trash version kind
- 32:36Speaker 3: that tracks.
- 32:38Speaker 2: But because they were the snow cone, consistency of the
- 32:41Speaker 2: ice was more granular than it was for the slushies,
- 32:45Speaker 2: the ones you drank with a straw.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Remember you were a foodie even back then. But you
- 32:49Speaker 6: guys remember like when you would get the little cones
- 32:52Speaker 6: and they would.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yet to use your teeth to scrape the ice. Yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 2: and then yeah, those cones were the greatest. But the icy, yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 2: I got a I would always get a cherry Icy
- 33:04Speaker 2: and Zots that Zots candy that had that foamy stuff
- 33:08Speaker 2: in the middle.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Oh my god, it was so good. You know, it's hard.
- 33:13Speaker 3: I'm looking at the bear right for icy, Yeah, pretty sure.
- 33:17Speaker 3: I bought drugs, drugs from that bear in a bathroom
- 33:22Speaker 3: that was a drug dealing bear if I've ever seen
- 33:24Speaker 3: one down in Fort Waderdale, Miami area, did.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I gotta tell you those things were absolute.
- 33:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 2: There's the zots right there in the line. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 2: those things are great. The sour apple zot was an absolute.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever had those.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Banger of candy.
- 33:39Speaker 2: It's just like hard sour apple candy, but in the
- 33:41Speaker 2: middle there was this like a sodium bicarbonate type thing,
- 33:44Speaker 2: so you would you would eat it and it would
- 33:46Speaker 2: foam up in your mind like okay, yeah, rabies, but
- 33:50Speaker 2: with sugar. Yeah, but with sugar rabies. He's exactly what
- 33:53Speaker 2: it was. Fun rabies. What's their earliest candy or treat
- 33:57Speaker 2: like that you remember as a kid.
- 33:59Speaker 3: I don't know if it was real, but it was
- 34:00Speaker 3: definitely the most formative and impactful. But it was Warheads. Warheads?
- 34:05Speaker 3: What is that?
- 34:06Speaker 2: Warheads? That is that one of the That's a theater candy,
- 34:08Speaker 2: is it not?
- 34:09Speaker 3: No, it's it's so sour that it burns the taste
- 34:12Speaker 3: buds off your tongue and you would bleed sometimes you bleed.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I'm dead ass serious. There's no way you're serious. You can.
- 34:21Speaker 2: You're telling me somebody manufactured a candy that would make
- 34:23Speaker 2: you bleed, dude.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Yeah, if you ate a lot of them and you
- 34:26Speaker 3: suck the living hell out of them like sour skittles.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah, man, look what it did to the guy's head
- 34:30Speaker 2: on the package. Wow, look at I do? Remember those?
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah you get remember remember sour lemon heads?
- 34:36Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I love them? Drops it with a sour
- 34:38Speaker 6: something outside that I didn't like.
- 34:39Speaker 3: You never had a warhead.
- 34:41Speaker 2: You never had a warhead, bud.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna blindfold
- 34:45Speaker 3: you and feed you stuff.
- 34:46Speaker 4: There was a movie about that about what remember in
- 34:50Speaker 4: front of the fridge scene, I think Kim Basinger making.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Jesus jackass porn ai face it's Sprain is porn ai.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Forty eight minutes thirty five seconds into the film.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I don't even think he's lying about that either.
- 35:09Speaker 2: And he turned it off in three minutes and fifty
- 35:11Speaker 2: one seconds in the movie.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Probably half that kind of find that's funny is that
- 35:16Speaker 3: Icy the company is selling something.
- 35:19Speaker 2: They're celebrating America to fifty.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Are they really? Yeah? Yeah, with what.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Like a free icy or something, or like a free
- 35:28Speaker 2: small one or whatever.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Maybe you would think maybe a flavor, you know, maybe
- 35:32Speaker 3: the rocket pop. H Yeah, yeah, it's right there. You
- 35:34Speaker 3: just combined the two sure color changing cup.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Oh really that's kind of cool. Yeah, dude, that is
- 35:41Speaker 2: old school right there. The icys are old school. I
- 35:44Speaker 2: don't think they were ever as popular as like slushies
- 35:47Speaker 2: or or slurpy yah. Yeah for sure.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Oh July eleventh, Free Slurpey Day. Right?
- 35:53Speaker 2: Is it really cool? My kids when my kids when
- 35:55Speaker 2: they were at eighteen nineteen, when they first got their cars,
- 35:58Speaker 2: anytime that any of the places do the free things,
- 36:01Speaker 2: like the Chick fil A was the one they would
- 36:02Speaker 2: do the most. They would get a cow ears and
- 36:05Speaker 2: they would paint the dots on their face to make
- 36:08Speaker 2: it look like there were cows. What color dots and
- 36:10Speaker 2: they would black dots. Okay, just saying better not be
- 36:14Speaker 2: too splotchy on the dot. I know it's very splotchy.
- 36:16Speaker 2: They wanted to look like a cow. They would drive
- 36:18Speaker 2: to every Chick fil A in the county and get
- 36:19Speaker 2: free stuff. Just as my kids are like that. They're
- 36:22Speaker 2: just too big of a black spot. Next thing, you know,
- 36:24Speaker 2: you're getting cancer. You're trying to get a free chicken sandwich.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Next thing, you know, I don't.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Think they were showing up like sambo. Yeah yeah, looking
- 36:31Speaker 2: for nuggets. Dude, I don't think that was happening.
- 36:33Speaker 3: You're looking like you're celebrating a Norwegian Christmas, all right
- 36:37Speaker 3: for it? You know, like they're still such a good shoke,
- 36:41Speaker 3: all right for a seven nine text seven seven zero
- 36:44Speaker 3: three one Chloeg. Next, let's find o what's happening this weekend?
- 36:52Speaker 17: Hey, Colber crew, just heard the guy comment about the
- 36:55Speaker 17: bushes baked beans. I have tried the apple pie flavored
- 36:59Speaker 17: and god, they taste like apple Pod really good.
- 37:05Speaker 9: I was out of Walmart and saw a bomb Pop
- 37:08Speaker 9: three layered Oreo Limited Edition.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I bought it so good. I hope you'll find it.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Bring it, Bring it to me, now, bring it to
- 37:19Speaker 2: me now, say please, pretty please eave an extra special

- 37:26Speaker 2: There's deb Hello, Jack Yo and Ross as well.
- 37:29Speaker 3: I got no cell phone case.
- 37:30Speaker 2: All right, let's find out what's happening with Chloe G.
- 37:33Speaker 1: If it's happening in Central Florida, it's on her radar.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Giving you a reason to get off the couch and
- 37:37Speaker 1: out of the house. It's time to find out what
- 37:39Speaker 1: there is to see with Chloe G from New Orlando Weekly.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Yea, how you doing? How you do it good? I'm good?
- 37:49Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 2: I gotta caught up in that horrible traffic out there, yep.
- 37:52Speaker 18: And I four no where else would it be? Where
- 37:54Speaker 18: else would it be? It was bad, But I'm here
- 37:56Speaker 18: now and it's super excited.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Very nice. How has your week been so far? Pretty good?
- 38:00Speaker 19: So far.
- 38:01Speaker 18: I'm really just like Acy Hopping. I'm trying to be
- 38:03Speaker 18: outside as little as possible right now. It's real bad
- 38:06Speaker 18: out there.
- 38:07Speaker 2: That makes you very smart. You start lobbying for all
- 38:10Speaker 2: the assignments that are indoors this day.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I know. Really the AC is really a
- 38:14Speaker 3: big draw for me right now.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Very nice. Chloeg joins us on Thursdays at four o'clock
- 38:20Speaker 2: from The Orlando Weekly to let us know some things
- 38:22Speaker 2: that are happening in town this weekend. If you want
- 38:24Speaker 2: to check it out, get some ideas of what you
- 38:26Speaker 2: and the fam could do. What you got for us
- 38:27Speaker 2: this week.
- 38:28Speaker 18: I have a bunch of fun stuff to do this weekend.
- 38:30Speaker 18: So first of all, on Friday. Sunset at the Zoo
- 38:35Speaker 18: is coming back to Central Florida Zoo, So they host
- 38:39Speaker 18: this nighttime event all summer long on the last Friday
- 38:42Speaker 18: of each month. It's kind of like an extended hours
- 38:45Speaker 18: little summer party situation that they do. It's later in
- 38:49Speaker 18: the day when the weather may be a bit cooler
- 38:53Speaker 18: than normal, and they offer tickets that are a bit
- 38:56Speaker 18: cheaper than their regular daytime hour tickets, so they say
- 39:00Speaker 18: that it's part block party and part safari. It's from
- 39:03Speaker 18: five pm to sunset. There are food trucks, music, local
- 39:08Speaker 18: vendors that you can shop through. There's activity for kids,
- 39:12Speaker 18: zoo keeper chats so you can ask questions with the
- 39:17Speaker 18: zoo keepers and learn about some of the animals and
- 39:20Speaker 18: other things that they house there at the Zoo. They
- 39:23Speaker 18: also have bugs and little Critters books, and then that
- 39:28Speaker 18: also all that is on top of everything else that
- 39:30Speaker 18: you can normally do there, so like all the exhibits
- 39:32Speaker 18: are open, you can stroll through and see all the
- 39:34Speaker 18: animals and a bit of a lower temperature than like
- 39:37Speaker 18: mid day. And then this month's event is Pride themed
- 39:41Speaker 18: for June, so tickets are six dollars when you purchase
- 39:44Speaker 18: them online beforehand, and then they're eight dollars.
- 39:47Speaker 3: On the day of.
- 39:48Speaker 18: You can also get a family four pack of four
- 39:50Speaker 18: tickets and then that'll get you also four hot dogs
- 39:53Speaker 18: and four drinks for forty six dollars. Okay, and again,
- 39:56Speaker 18: if you do miss this one this weekend, they do
- 39:58Speaker 18: these on every last Friday of the month through September,
- 40:02Speaker 18: all different themes.
- 40:03Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, very good. Let's go around the room
- 40:05Speaker 2: real quick. You guys think Chloe is an animal person? Yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 2: oh yeah, animal person.
- 40:10Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 2: But you think she has pets. You think she has
- 40:14Speaker 2: a pets. I'm saying no. On the pet. You say
- 40:17Speaker 2: she likes to go out too much.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Yeah, my god, I like to go out too much.
- 40:22Speaker 18: Okay, okay, I was gonna say cat.
- 40:26Speaker 6: I was gonna say cat like heras a one cat goal.
- 40:31Speaker 18: Yeah, okay. I love animals. I grew up with one
- 40:35Speaker 18: hundred pets.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Right now.
- 40:36Speaker 18: I have two cats there a mom daughter, cool, al right, cool.
- 40:41Speaker 18: I went to go adopt one cat and they said
- 40:44Speaker 18: she has one kit and left and I said.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Okay, you guys, piss my arm. They give me a one,
- 40:49Speaker 3: all right, We're good. Yeah, that's good. Just something about.
- 40:52Speaker 18: You, no, I love animals. Do you think all my
- 40:55Speaker 18: weird pets all day?
- 40:56Speaker 3: Do you think Jim is an animal person? Maybe?
- 40:59Speaker 13: Dog?
- 41:00Speaker 2: I have a dog, and I've adopted a cat. It's
- 41:02Speaker 2: not even my cat, but I'm taking care of my
- 41:04Speaker 2: daughter's cat, and I'm kind of I'm down with the cat.
- 41:06Speaker 18: That's what happens when you're a dog person then you
- 41:08Speaker 18: meet a cat that like really changes.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Chloe, you don't like cat? No, I have three.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Don't listen to him because that's what he's saying today
- 41:16Speaker 4: on Thursday, June twenty fifth. Tomorrow on Friday, June twenty sixth,
- 41:20Speaker 4: This time it's going to be a completely different answer.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Write down every time he pets that cat, he has
- 41:28Speaker 3: to go after Austin Powers.
- 41:29Speaker 18: Yeah, alright, that's great. Well, next this weekend on Saturday,
- 41:37Speaker 18: we have the Orlando Oddities and Curiosity Market. So this
- 41:41Speaker 18: is a really good place to go to shop for
- 41:43Speaker 18: like your weird cousin's birthday or like a weird coworker.
- 41:47Speaker 2: And I tell you, it's a great place to go
- 41:49Speaker 2: watch and look around.
- 41:50Speaker 3: There is some crazy st this thing.
- 41:53Speaker 18: Yeah, if you want to like maybe pick something up
- 41:55Speaker 18: that's like a little bit haunted. This is a really
- 41:58Speaker 18: good place for that. So it's a really huge indoor,
- 42:01Speaker 18: air conditioned market, huge draw there. It's hosted by Prometheus Esoterica,
- 42:07Speaker 18: which is an oddity shop in winter Park. This year's
- 42:10Speaker 18: market is hosting over two hundred vendors offering anything from
- 42:14Speaker 18: like taxidermy animals to bones, to uranium glass, jewelry, cryptid dolls,
- 42:19Speaker 18: everything weird and off putting and fine uranium glass.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Huh wow really yeah, we have a cabinet full of it.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Oh amazing, great.
- 42:27Speaker 2: We have a cabinet that's built for uranium glasses. We
- 42:29Speaker 2: collect it from the fifties. So when you walk in
- 42:31Speaker 2: my place right on the right, we have like a
- 42:33Speaker 2: shelves of it. It's actually very cool.
- 42:34Speaker 18: Say it's not the one that like it glows, okay,
- 42:36Speaker 18: yeah right, yes, yeah, okay.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Very cool. Where is this? This sounds interesting.
- 42:41Speaker 18: This is happening at Osciola Heritage Park in Kissimi on Saturday.
- 42:46Speaker 18: On top of the shopping, also there is going to
- 42:50Speaker 18: be live performances as well, so the Dead City Circus
- 42:56Speaker 18: side show is going to be there. This is a
- 42:58Speaker 18: classic traveling freak show, so like the traditional sword swallowers, beds,
- 43:03Speaker 18: of nails, the like lighting a match in the mouth
- 43:05Speaker 18: and then blowing fire.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yea yeah.
- 43:09Speaker 18: Magician Dan Sperry is gonna be performing. Apparently he's a
- 43:13Speaker 18: very in the in the magician the magic community. He's
- 43:16Speaker 18: a big names cool. And then the Lizard Man, who
- 43:20Speaker 18: you guys may know. This is the man who has
- 43:23Speaker 18: the setup in a lot of Ripley's believe it or
- 43:25Speaker 18: not locations. He has like lizard scales tattooed all on
- 43:29Speaker 18: his body and like gets too Tom File. Yeah, yeah,
- 43:32Speaker 18: he has like horns in his head, so he's gonna
- 43:34Speaker 18: be slithering around of these market and yeah. Osciola Heritage
- 43:39Speaker 18: Park in Kissimi on Saturday at eleven am.
- 43:42Speaker 3: How much is that?
- 43:43Speaker 2: By the way, to get in, tickets.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Are fifteen dollars and fifteen cents. That's nothing. Yeah, well
- 43:47Speaker 3: then you can spend all your money inside on animals.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Very smart.
- 43:51Speaker 18: Also on Saturday, Girls Rock Camp Summer Showcase is taking place.
- 43:55Speaker 18: So this is the concert that the Orlando Girls Rock
- 43:58Speaker 18: Camp puts on at the end of every recession. So
- 44:01Speaker 18: during the camp, the campers form bands. They learn about
- 44:04Speaker 18: music and kind of like the music industry and the
- 44:07Speaker 18: creative process. They write music together and then this is
- 44:11Speaker 18: when they perform it as a big kind of summer
- 44:13Speaker 18: graduation showcase. It's very sweet. It's a very cute, inspiring event.
- 44:19Speaker 18: This is also a matinee show, so just very wholesome
- 44:22Speaker 18: all around. It starts at two pm at the Conduit
- 44:26Speaker 18: in winter Park. Entry cost is on a sliding scale
- 44:29Speaker 18: from about fourteen dollars to forty dollars and then all
- 44:32Speaker 18: the proceeds are going to go back to the camp
- 44:34Speaker 18: for the next session of kids future camps.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Now, let me tell you don't sleep on that. My
- 44:37Speaker 2: buddy owns the School of Rock and Claremont, Yeah, and
- 44:40Speaker 2: they do these sessions with the bands they create in
- 44:43Speaker 2: the School of Rock thing, and they are a frickin' blast.
- 44:45Speaker 2: By the way, these shows are so much fun. So
- 44:48Speaker 2: if you get a chance to go out there, it's
- 44:50Speaker 2: dirt cheap. These kids been playing their asses off all
- 44:52Speaker 2: session long and you get to see the fruits of
- 44:55Speaker 2: that labor and there are a damn they're a really
- 44:57Speaker 2: fun time. My wife and I went to one out
- 44:59Speaker 2: there and like, okay, we'll go. We want to support
- 45:01Speaker 2: them because they're good people, and we've done that. We
- 45:04Speaker 2: wound up saying there like two and a half hours.
- 45:06Speaker 18: No, it's no joke, but the kids are like, well,
- 45:08Speaker 18: like it's a show, you're going to a concert, it's
- 45:10Speaker 18: not just a little production.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 18: So that is Saturday at the Conduit. Also this weekend
- 45:16Speaker 18: we have the Orlando Pancakes and Booze Art Show. Finally,
- 45:22Speaker 18: this is a pop up underground or exhibition happening on
- 45:25Speaker 18: Saturday at the Abbey in Thornton Park. It's part of
- 45:29Speaker 18: an international touring pop up show that they do all
- 45:33Speaker 18: across the US and then in Europe a bit too.
- 45:35Speaker 18: So they set up a they set up in a
- 45:37Speaker 18: city and then highlight local artists there for one night
- 45:40Speaker 18: and yes, you get all you can eat free pancakes
- 45:44Speaker 18: for the night, all right, and then there's also drinks available.
- 45:47Speaker 18: They aim for it to be kind of like an
- 45:49Speaker 18: inviting atmosphere for up and coming local artists to get
- 45:52Speaker 18: some face to FaceTime with the community. The Orlando show
- 45:55Speaker 18: this weekend is going to host over eighty artists and
- 45:58Speaker 18: that is on Saturday. It from seven pm to eleven pm.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Woy Pancakes is a weird drinking food.
- 46:05Speaker 3: We agree with that.
- 46:06Speaker 18: I think it's gonna work really well though, because it's
- 46:08Speaker 18: gonna soak it all up. Okay, it's carbs, yeah, exactly.
- 46:12Speaker 18: And tickets are fifteen dollars in advance and then twenty
- 46:15Speaker 18: dollars on the day of the show.
- 46:16Speaker 2: And that's cool. A lot of stuff very affordable this week.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, very good. So a little bit of
- 46:21Speaker 3: ac in there too.
- 46:22Speaker 2: You are obsessed with a hero. It's really a c happer.
- 46:27Speaker 3: I also just want to I went to the website
- 46:29Speaker 3: because I really wanted to see exactly what you were
- 46:32Speaker 3: talking about. When it's like a traveling art show, this
- 46:36Speaker 3: is one of those events that make Orlando more of
- 46:39Speaker 3: a city.
- 46:40Speaker 2: This is a she's not joking. This is a huge deal.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Because as soon as you said the Abbey, I was like, whoa,
- 46:45Speaker 3: that's not a small venue. How big of a deal
- 46:48Speaker 3: is this? This thing is massive?
- 46:50Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Yeah, they're serious. I mean where they had shows Mexico City, Seattle,
- 46:54Speaker 3: Oklahoma City, really uh, Oakland, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn at the
- 47:00Speaker 3: Brooklyn Monarch. One of the venues is at the damn
- 47:03Speaker 3: met Or no, that's Providence. It's a different met but
- 47:07Speaker 3: it's a it's really cool. If you're looking for something
- 47:11Speaker 3: in Orlando to be more like a city.
- 47:13Speaker 2: This is it cool?
- 47:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Super cool.
- 47:16Speaker 18: Also, finally, this weekend, I have Boxy Park in Lake
- 47:20Speaker 18: Nona is celebrating the fourth of July a weekend early
- 47:23Speaker 18: with their Great American Block Party weekend. So this actually
- 47:27Speaker 18: starts today and runs through Sunday. It's a big festival
- 47:31Speaker 18: with a few different little things going on within it.
- 47:34Speaker 3: So on top of.
- 47:34Speaker 18: Everything you can normally do there, so places to eat
- 47:37Speaker 18: and hang out, there's also going to be live music
- 47:40Speaker 18: every day through Sunday. There will be backyard style games
- 47:44Speaker 18: so like cornhole, Jenga, beer pong, and then there's gonna
- 47:48Speaker 18: be themed photo booths, lots of activities for kids, bounce houses,
- 47:52Speaker 18: face painting, and then they're also using this weekend to
- 47:55Speaker 18: kind of overlap with the World Cup as well, so
- 47:57Speaker 18: they're going to periodically be showing different matches. Pretty much
- 48:02Speaker 18: every game that's taking place this weekend, they're broadcasting and
- 48:05Speaker 18: they're playing it on the screens they have there with
- 48:07Speaker 18: the sound on. So definitely a family friendly environment, but
- 48:11Speaker 18: there is kind of plenty to do for everyone and
- 48:13Speaker 18: it's free to attend.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta tell you that place is a family
- 48:16Speaker 2: cheat code. Because the one cool thing about Boxy Park
- 48:19Speaker 2: is they do have a bunch of stuff there for kids.
- 48:21Speaker 2: But it's like almost like the modern brewery kind of scene.
- 48:23Speaker 2: When you have breweries you can see families, young families
- 48:25Speaker 2: hanging out. Boxy is just like that. But they have
- 48:28Speaker 2: a professional stage there to be able to check out
- 48:30Speaker 2: their shows and restaurants around the area within walking distance.
- 48:33Speaker 2: But it's a really cool spot out there, like non
- 48:36Speaker 2: in that area is beautiful and it's like contained. So
- 48:37Speaker 2: you let your kids run free and you have a beer.
- 48:40Speaker 2: That's right, crazy.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Good, keep an eye, a loose eye on them, wondering eye,
- 48:50Speaker 3: you know what.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Ac yeah, yeah.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Forget it, you get it.
- 48:57Speaker 3: You seem destroyed.
- 48:59Speaker 18: But it also be fun. I'm sure they have like fans.
- 49:02Speaker 18: We get some cold drinks.
- 49:04Speaker 3: What do you get going on this weekend for you?
- 49:06Speaker 3: What are you doing this weekend? For me?
- 49:07Speaker 18: I'm actually foregoing all of this really fun stuff that
- 49:10Speaker 18: I just mentioned, and I am think that I'm venturing
- 49:13Speaker 18: out to the beach this weekend, which I'm going to
- 49:16Speaker 18: be cooked. Yes, I'm going to really like be fried
- 49:21Speaker 18: to the bone.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Do you have hobbies? Hobby is just I have hobbies?
- 49:25Speaker 2: What do you What are your hobbies?
- 49:26Speaker 18: I like to I really like music. I go on
- 49:30Speaker 18: walks a lot. I try to do things that are outside.
- 49:33Speaker 18: Maybe not in the dead of summer, as we have
- 49:35Speaker 18: learned today, I'm really hating the sun today.
- 49:39Speaker 3: We got music in too. I like all kinds of music.
- 49:41Speaker 18: I like alternative, like indie music, some older stuff, some
- 49:46Speaker 18: newer stuff.
- 49:46Speaker 3: I'll listen to anything.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Not even going to ask her what kind which she
- 49:49Speaker 4: considers older stuff from the year two thousand.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Down. Let me just shut my oh no, no, no, no.
- 50:03Speaker 5: Wait.
- 50:03Speaker 6: If anyone wanted more information on the events you were
- 50:06Speaker 6: talking about, where can they find it?
- 50:07Speaker 2: On the website?
- 50:08Speaker 18: They can find all of this stuff at Orlando Weekly
- 50:10Speaker 18: dot com. We have different sections on the site where
- 50:13Speaker 18: you can scroll through different categories of events. We also
- 50:17Speaker 18: have a little calendar tool where you can kind of
- 50:21Speaker 18: specialize what you want to search up in, like the
- 50:23Speaker 18: dates for or whatever we can you want.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Know that that's awesome. Yeah, I know the website. What
- 50:27Speaker 2: The website's great. I mean, every time I go there,
- 50:29Speaker 2: it's it's really well laid out where you can just
- 50:31Speaker 2: navigate it pretty easily.
- 50:32Speaker 3: So that's awesome. I know that I live on that thing. Really. Yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 3: you don't have the choice, do you. No, I love it.
- 50:38Speaker 2: By thirty s going on right, yes.
- 50:39Speaker 18: By thirty is going on through July thirteenth, so you
- 50:42Speaker 18: have a bit more time to get out there and eat.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Eat the day.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Away, Eat the day away?
- 50:48Speaker 3: Very good? All right, you guys, give it up. Good

- 51:05Speaker 2: of old band CDs.
- 51:07Speaker 6: You'll love you will Jim Culbert mixtape.
- 51:12Speaker 3: What's the c What am I doing? I'll get you
- 51:17Speaker 3: a thumb driver on it. That's not how it works,
- 51:20Speaker 3: I know, God lmighty, you can't come back now because
- 51:24Speaker 3: now it's like it's now. It's a thing that.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Just means your family four seven nine one text seven
- 51:33Speaker 2: seven zero three one back in a sec with more
- 51:35Speaker 2: than Jim Corbert shows day right there, video one o
- 51:37Speaker 2: four point one.
- 51:41Speaker 21: Hey, guys, I just love listening to you guys, especially
- 51:45Speaker 21: on these days. I'm on the iler trying to make
- 51:48Speaker 21: it home.
- 51:49Speaker 19: It's gonna take you an hour and thirty minutes for glad.
- 51:53Speaker 21: I have you guys on this journey with me. All right,
- 51:57Speaker 21: love you.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Thank you so much?
- 51:59Speaker 2: What kind words?
- 52:00Speaker 3: Afternoon? Colbort crew.
- 52:02Speaker 2: So I was just caught up on the podcast and
- 52:05Speaker 2: I was listening on the segment about OnlyFans.
- 52:09Speaker 7: Jim was asking them, what would you do?
- 52:12Speaker 3: I was thinking, right away, dominics your stub. All you
- 52:15Speaker 3: would have to do start reading.
- 52:18Speaker 14: A story with a beautiful sexy voice while.
- 52:24Speaker 20: Smoking a cigarette.
- 52:25Speaker 3: Okay, can't get even better than now? Yeah? Oh yeah,
- 52:29Speaker 3: no question.
- 52:29Speaker 2: He's never thought about that before.
- 52:33Speaker 3: In the shower.
- 52:34Speaker 6: Yeah, you have a young male following about you break
- 52:39Speaker 6: that gun half, would't you?
- 52:40Speaker 2: You would punish that fool, wouldn't you?
- 52:42Speaker 3: Left? But a smile?
- 52:48Speaker 2: Waste, just waste these fools. They would have no idea
- 52:51Speaker 2: what happened. Maybe in the jail, wouldn't it. They would
- 52:54Speaker 2: just wake up beat the complete hell one day. All right,
- 52:57Speaker 2: welcome back on Jim. There's deb jail if it were
- 52:59Speaker 2: in heaven, Yes exactly.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Debis are Deb and Jack and Ross's got Jim's flowing
- 53:06Speaker 3: words and there's Ted smiles like Ted's here.
- 53:12Speaker 2: By the way, I think we only have like was
- 53:15Speaker 2: it ten or fifteen seats left for the poker tournament? Yeah, fifteen,
- 53:19Speaker 2: fifteen seats left for the poker tournament. If you want
- 53:21Speaker 2: to join us in August to play poker, go to
- 53:23Speaker 2: Real Radio dot FM slash Poker and the big tournament
- 53:26Speaker 2: is coming up in August. Grab your seat now, I
- 53:29Speaker 2: can imagine. I literally cannot believe they made it this far.
- 53:32Speaker 2: But if you want to go up there and grab
- 53:33Speaker 2: your seat, we do have fifteen left, just fifteen, So
- 53:36Speaker 2: grab that today and join us in August. We're gonna
- 53:39Speaker 2: have to invite our next guest to the poker tournament
- 53:41Speaker 2: as well. He kind of like roams the casino, that does.
- 53:44Speaker 2: He really will turn his Micael. We'll talk to him
- 53:46Speaker 2: now a little bit about it. How you doing the
- 53:48Speaker 2: big Dog? How you doing doing great? All right? Are
- 53:50Speaker 2: you coming to the Booker Tournament?
- 53:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 53:52Speaker 12: I'll probably stop buying rose around for a while. It's
- 53:55Speaker 12: exciting looking at what's going on watching.
- 53:58Speaker 3: You're not a gambler. Are used to gamble? Eilight a lot?
- 54:01Speaker 3: You used to gamble highlight a lot?
- 54:03Speaker 12: Yeah a lot. Now, your dad was in the horses,
- 54:05Speaker 12: was he not? My dad loved horses. He took me
- 54:07Speaker 12: into a couple of tracks. We've been to a couple
- 54:08Speaker 12: of tracks. Yeah, yeah.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Did you gamble on horses at all?
- 54:11Speaker 3: A little bit? Not a whole lot?
- 54:12Speaker 4: Now, isn't there an old photograph of I believe your
- 54:15Speaker 4: grandfather at the horse tracks in earlier that is hanging
- 54:18Speaker 4: in the bathroom of nineteen twenty one in Mount Dora.
- 54:22Speaker 3: Really, that's true? Highley a Park. Yeah, he used to
- 54:24Speaker 3: go all the time. Wow, yeah, yeah.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Did you ever win any money with Highlight?
- 54:27Speaker 3: Was that rigged?
- 54:28Speaker 13: Was it that?
- 54:29Speaker 2: The whole thing with Highlight? People thought it was like rigged.
- 54:31Speaker 12: I don't know what would happen is let's say the
- 54:34Speaker 12: fellow's girlfriend's there that day, or his mother's there from somewhere,
- 54:37Speaker 12: and the other guys said, you know, let him win
- 54:39Speaker 12: a race or not a game or something.
- 54:41Speaker 3: But that's all. It wasn't rigged like any other way.
- 54:43Speaker 2: It just seemed like betting Highlight.
- 54:45Speaker 6: It's like, you know, you think you have it and
- 54:48Speaker 6: then suddenly they make an uncharacteristic drop or missed.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it happens. It's not an easy game, not an
- 54:53Speaker 3: easy at all.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Did they play that anywhere anymore? We used to have
- 54:57Speaker 2: the front on over on seventeen ninety two, but they
- 55:00Speaker 2: don't use that there anymore. It's like a mega church
- 55:02Speaker 2: now or something. But packed all the time.
- 55:03Speaker 3: And then South.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Florida was that where it originated? Was there?
- 55:07Speaker 12: Well that's originally from the past region of Spain, but
- 55:10Speaker 12: the best front on was in Miami. H yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 55:13Speaker 12: And they still play in Dana. They play for snowbirds.
- 55:16Speaker 12: You know, during the winter it will open for the
- 55:18Speaker 12: snowbirds and that's the only time they play.
- 55:20Speaker 3: And a lot you were gambling on this. It was fun, man,
- 55:23Speaker 3: it's great. Well, yeah, this is the fastest game in
- 55:25Speaker 3: the world, right absolutely, yeah, absolutely, that ball and then
- 55:28Speaker 3: they have these is it a wicket?
- 55:30Speaker 6: What was that thing they wore on their hands? The
- 55:33Speaker 6: ball is oh really yeah, yeah. I used to play
- 55:37Speaker 6: a little bit.
- 55:38Speaker 3: I was.
- 55:38Speaker 12: You know, it's a very very difficult sport and I
- 55:41Speaker 12: played baseball and it's it's a much different arm movement
- 55:43Speaker 12: and it's just difficult. It's amazing what they can do.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah, because the delivery for a highlight ball is more
- 55:49Speaker 2: like a cricket pitch. You don't really use your elbow
- 55:51Speaker 2: so much, right, You just kind of almost use a
- 55:53Speaker 2: like a windmill roundhouse and exactly.
- 55:55Speaker 12: You've got to catch and throw in the same motion.
- 55:58Speaker 12: That's a difficult sport, very difficult, and that ball moves
- 56:01Speaker 12: very fast.
- 56:01Speaker 6: Only two active frontons in the US, both in Florida,
- 56:05Speaker 6: Miami and Dania Beach.
- 56:06Speaker 12: Wow yeah, wow, dude, that's so crazy. Is Miami open
- 56:10Speaker 12: full time jack or just during.
- 56:12Speaker 6: This Miami is the main hub for the sport in
- 56:16Speaker 6: the US, hosting the World Highlight League's Battle Court matches
- 56:20Speaker 6: on Friday night, so I think it might be it
- 56:22Speaker 6: does say Dania Beach is more of a winter thing.
- 56:25Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, yea, Miami Highlight be great. This is not
- 56:27Speaker 12: in the best area anymore.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 2: When they used to have dog tracks around here, when
- 56:30Speaker 2: you could raise greyhounds, those were like co opted by
- 56:33Speaker 2: poker rooms and other gamblings. Do they do that with
- 56:36Speaker 2: the Highlight Fronton's as well? Do they offer anything else
- 56:38Speaker 2: other than highlight?
- 56:39Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 56:39Speaker 12: I don't know what goes on at Dania. It sounds
- 56:41Speaker 12: like miamis, you know, full full time highlight.
- 56:44Speaker 6: But actually both of them have casino in the name. Yeah, right, Yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 6: at Casino Miami, sure.
- 56:51Speaker 12: And you go there and they have all the screens
- 56:52Speaker 12: with the horse races, general horse races they're going on,
- 56:55Speaker 12: going on all over the place.
- 56:57Speaker 2: The poker room over in Daytona before they well, before
- 56:59Speaker 2: they move into their new facility was part of the
- 57:02Speaker 2: was in the same parking lot as the racetrack as
- 57:04Speaker 2: you know as the uh as the Daytona five hundred racetrack, right,
- 57:08Speaker 2: So you would go over there and the only way
- 57:10Speaker 2: they could do the poker is if the dogs were running,
- 57:13Speaker 2: because that was like one of the first caveats of
- 57:15Speaker 2: having poker tables in Florida where you could play for
- 57:18Speaker 2: real money. The dogs had to be running. When they
- 57:20Speaker 2: shut the dog thing down, they had to kind of
- 57:22Speaker 2: change the laws, if I remember it right, because they
- 57:24Speaker 2: didn't have the dogs anymore, but they still wanted to
- 57:25Speaker 2: have the boker, yeah, because nobody was nobody was running
- 57:28Speaker 2: the dogs anymore. I was over there as I was
- 57:30Speaker 2: kind of dying, and man, it was beautiful. And of course,
- 57:33Speaker 2: you know, people have problems with the dog racing, and
- 57:35Speaker 2: I completely understand that, but I mean, you would have
- 57:37Speaker 2: people out there and it was a little sad to
- 57:39Speaker 2: be honest with you, because there'd be people out there
- 57:41Speaker 2: and their kids would be doing homework on the tables
- 57:44Speaker 2: outside where their parents were gambling on racetock.
- 57:46Speaker 4: No, that's not a little sad, that's not a little
- 57:49Speaker 4: set well, it's getting them culture.
- 57:53Speaker 12: The whole dog racing thing was sad. I mean, you know,
- 57:55Speaker 12: here comes swiftly, you know, you know it.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Was the treatment of the dog.
- 58:00Speaker 3: It's just the whole thing. I'm glad to store with You.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Don't think they like running running around that chasing that
- 58:05Speaker 2: little stuffed rabbit?
- 58:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 58:06Speaker 2: I think that part they probably like.
- 58:08Speaker 4: They didn't like being kept in the wooden cages with
- 58:10Speaker 4: the muzzles on to keep them from chewing the cages
- 58:13Speaker 4: or the I won't go any further, but the way
- 58:15Speaker 4: the euthanize those dogs isn't exactly humane.
- 58:17Speaker 2: I'm glad they're gone, I will tell you though, I
- 58:19Speaker 2: know people. There's a couple of people on Instagram that
- 58:21Speaker 2: adopted them, for sure. Yeah, and they take them out
- 58:23Speaker 2: and they run them on these roads against their other dogs.
- 58:26Speaker 2: My god, dude, there's nothing that runs faster than a greyhound.
- 58:29Speaker 2: You just do not realize how fast they are until
- 58:31Speaker 2: you see a dog that you think is fast, take off.
- 58:33Speaker 2: This thing gives it a fifty yard head start, and
- 58:36Speaker 2: this greyhound beats it by twenty yards. I mean, it's
- 58:39Speaker 2: like a it's like a shot out of a gun. Dude,
- 58:42Speaker 2: all right, four oh seven nine one. Text us at
- 58:44Speaker 2: seven seven zero three one. Glenn Clausman is here. We're
- 58:47Speaker 2: gonna take a little break. We'll come back and do
- 58:48Speaker 2: Colbert Cord. And by the way, this is a really
- 58:51Speaker 2: interesting topic we have today because Glenn gets a lot
- 58:54Speaker 2: of calls about people wanting use their health insurance in
- 58:57Speaker 2: certain situations with carrecks and other scenario and that's become
- 59:01Speaker 2: a real question because people think that applies everywhere. And
- 59:05Speaker 2: Glenn's going to clear up where and when you can
- 59:08Speaker 2: use your health insurance and when you can't, and how
- 59:10Speaker 2: it can save you some time and money.
- 59:11Speaker 4: And we've also had a lot of listeners who text
- 59:13Speaker 4: us when Glenn is on, telling us that their insurance
- 59:16Speaker 4: agents are telling them you don't need uninsured motorist coverage
- 59:20Speaker 4: because you have health care, you have health insurance through
- 59:23Speaker 4: your employer or whatever. Glenn, I've never seen it happen,
- 59:26Speaker 4: but it's happening more and more so I'm glad we're
- 59:28Speaker 4: going to be talking about that because listeners keep saying, well,
- 59:31Speaker 4: I don't my insurance agent says I don't need uninsured
- 59:34Speaker 4: motors coverage.
- 59:35Speaker 12: You know, we could start out, I'll explain the difference
- 59:37Speaker 12: and why you need it. That's probably really important. We'll
- 59:39Speaker 12: do that next.
- 59:40Speaker 19: That Villa just brought back some great memories for me.
- 59:43Speaker 19: My grandfather was a trainer at Hialia or as trainer
- 59:50Speaker 19: for many many years. I hung out there a lot
- 59:54Speaker 19: as a kid. I'm from South Florida, but I'm here
- 59:59Speaker 19: to you guys every break day.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: I do.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Thank you, buddy, appreciate it so much.
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: Jim Jams I worked at the Melbourne Gray Down check.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: For about five years.
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: Right well when they put the poker tables in instead
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: of the highlight. And the reason why they were able
- 1:00:21Speaker 9: to get away with poker without the dogs actually racing
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: is because they used to do telecast of other dog
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: races and horace races. You're still bet on that and poker.

- 1:00:45Speaker 2: We'll get you on there. I'm just hell Jack, you
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: believe in yourself. Ross, believe in yourself again. Let's do
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Cobrat Court.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: When you are listening to is real? Well sort of,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the participants are not.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: As that's a fact.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: This is, however, a real case that will be decided
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: here in our four of a Coleburg court.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: Cover court, brought to you by good Britain Glenn Klausman
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: and Closman Law. That's k l a U S m
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: A in law dot com offices right there in winter
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: Park four oh seven nine one seven seventeen eighteen car
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: crash Call that gentleman right there, good loud for mister
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: Glenn claws Man. My man's, my man's, my man's thanks
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: for the Mazars. But we appreciate that.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 1:01:27Speaker 12: I hope it so we that appreciates that, not just
- 1:01:30Speaker 12: a gym that appreciates that.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Oh no, I'm the one who gets the we.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Okay, how that works out? The first time Jack and
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I have heard about this about what.
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: Yeah, there's a little box of Perscotian here in the fact,
- 1:01:41Speaker 12: I do have some little plastic badge to divide it up.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: But that's uh, that's lovely. I hope this isn't get
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: torn in half or lit on, let on fire or
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: anything even numbers. Yeah, we are right, he hates us.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Glenn points every Thursday around this time to talk about
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: your car insurance and insurance and things like that. Glenn
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: really does specialize in that, but occasionally we will kind
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: of veer off course and talk about something else that
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Glenn thinks is, you know, kind of infecting people in
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: his office. And he'll get these calls through out the
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: week and come in and say, hey, look, you know,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I'm getting a lot of calls where people are wondering
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: how they can use their health insurance in lieu of
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: there or in support of their car insurance for crashes.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: And this is a situation that you said has kind
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: of increasing a little bit. And what we wanted to
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: do today is kind of have you explain when that
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: can happen, when it is like viable for you to
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: use your health insurance and a car crash or any
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: other situation, and when you won't be able to.
- 1:02:32Speaker 12: Do it right right The interplay between health insurance and
- 1:02:34Speaker 12: your auto insurance. For one, But as Debra talked about
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: before we started, people are calling and saying they don't
- 1:02:41Speaker 12: their agents are telling them they don't need uninsured motorist coverage.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: It goes to health insur because have health.
- 1:02:45Speaker 12: Insurance, well, health insurance will pay for medical bills, and
- 1:02:50Speaker 12: we'll talk about how it gets to their point where
- 1:02:52Speaker 12: they'll pay for medical bills. There's another kind of insurance
- 1:02:55Speaker 12: that auto insurance is called medical payments coverage. And if
- 1:02:58Speaker 12: you have health insurance, you may not need medical payments
- 1:03:01Speaker 12: coverage because that medical payments coverage is just paying for
- 1:03:03Speaker 12: medical bills. But uninsured motorist coverage. Every week, I mean
- 1:03:08Speaker 12: probably twice a week, I'll have a client where a
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: case gets resolved and it gets resolved for all the
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: insurance the at fault party has, and the folks don't
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: have uninsured motorist coverage. The clients don't have it, or
- 1:03:20Speaker 12: they don't have enough of it, or they didn't get
- 1:03:22Speaker 12: stacking coverage and they're not getting what their full case
- 1:03:26Speaker 12: is worth because they didn't buy uninsured motors coverage or
- 1:03:29Speaker 12: stacking on insured motors coverage. Just that a fellow was
- 1:03:31Speaker 12: in yesterday. He said, you know, I wish i'd listened
- 1:03:34Speaker 12: to you and got stacking uninsured motors coverage. He would
- 1:03:37Speaker 12: have got another fifty thousand dollars. Oh man, But you
- 1:03:40Speaker 12: know that's stacking. Uninsured motors coverage is coverage that pays
- 1:03:44Speaker 12: to compensate you for your injuries when the person who
- 1:03:47Speaker 12: caused your injuries doesn't have enough insurance to pay for
- 1:03:50Speaker 12: your injuries. Right, yeah, So, and a lot of people
- 1:03:53Speaker 12: don't have much insurance to pay for injuries, especially bad drivers,
- 1:03:56Speaker 12: because it costs them more money to have good insurance.
- 1:04:00Speaker 12: No insurance to pay for your injuries, or maybe ten
- 1:04:02Speaker 12: thousand dollars to pay for your injuries, then you might
- 1:04:04Speaker 12: have injuries that are worth one hundred thousand dollars. So
- 1:04:06Speaker 12: that's why you need to make sure you have as
- 1:04:07Speaker 12: much uninsured motors coverage as you can afford, and stacking
- 1:04:11Speaker 12: uninsured motors corverages if you have two vehicles, it doubles
- 1:04:14Speaker 12: you get what you get. So if you have fifty
- 1:04:16Speaker 12: thousand in coverage with two vehicles, now you got one
- 1:04:18Speaker 12: hundred thousand coverage.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: So that's what that is.
- 1:04:20Speaker 12: And then health insurance it's a totally different situation. Your
- 1:04:25Speaker 12: auto insurance in this state pays for your first ten
- 1:04:29Speaker 12: thousand dollars in medical bills. It's called no fault coverage.
- 1:04:33Speaker 12: It's a bad name. It doesn't make sense the name,
- 1:04:36Speaker 12: but that's what it is. It pays the first ten
- 1:04:38Speaker 12: thousand dollars for your medical bills. But when you go
- 1:04:40Speaker 12: to the hospital, there's a good chance the hospitals they're
- 1:04:43Speaker 12: going to run all kinds of scans and stuff. Your
- 1:04:45Speaker 12: medical bills are going to be more than ten thousand dollars.
- 1:04:48Speaker 12: So you also give the hospital your health insurance because
- 1:04:51Speaker 12: once your auto insurance at ten thousand dollars for medical exhausts,
- 1:04:56Speaker 12: once you use it all, once you reach that limit,
- 1:04:58Speaker 12: then your health insurance can kick out. So it's important
- 1:05:01Speaker 12: that the hospitals get your health insurance.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Okay, but whether your health insurance kicks into the hospital,
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: are you still liable for the deductible?
- 1:05:10Speaker 12: Here's what will happen? Is that's a great question. Here's
- 1:05:12Speaker 12: what will happen. The health insurance is on a feat schedule,
- 1:05:16Speaker 12: just like the car insurances. But the car insurance is
- 1:05:19Speaker 12: a very very favorable feast schedule for hospitals because they
- 1:05:22Speaker 12: had a good lobby.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: So when the.
- 1:05:25Speaker 12: Legislators were making feat schedules out for auto accident bills,
- 1:05:29Speaker 12: they gave the hospital a very favorable ruling and said,
- 1:05:32Speaker 12: whatever you charge, you can get seventy five percent. Everybody
- 1:05:35Speaker 12: else is getting two hundred percent of Medicare, which is
- 1:05:37Speaker 12: way way less than seventy five percent of what the
- 1:05:39Speaker 12: bills are. Yeah, so as far as you're deductible, that
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: there's twenty percent that some people when they buy auto insurance,
- 1:05:47Speaker 12: they buy eighty percent coverage to cover their medical bills
- 1:05:50Speaker 12: up to ten thousands, so they got twenty percent left.
- 1:05:54Speaker 12: That twenty percent your health insurance would then pick up.
- 1:05:56Speaker 12: And generally what happens the health insurance then looks what's
- 1:06:00Speaker 12: your car insurance paid, and they say, oh, we got
- 1:06:02Speaker 12: a fee schedule and your car insurance is already paid
- 1:06:05Speaker 12: more than we would pay. Therefore, the bill gets adjusted
- 1:06:10Speaker 12: down to zero and you don't owe anything. Oh that's
- 1:06:14Speaker 12: a that Yeah, yeah, okay, everybody follow that. Okay, all right,
- 1:06:17Speaker 12: So that's that's very important to use your health insurance,
- 1:06:19Speaker 12: especially for the hospital. Now you have a hospital, you
- 1:06:21Speaker 12: have health insurance deductible, and you're going to be dealing
- 1:06:24Speaker 12: with that once your health insurance pays. But a lot
- 1:06:26Speaker 12: of times health insurance is adjusting off bills that get
- 1:06:29Speaker 12: down to nothing. Right now, with an auto accident, there's
- 1:06:31Speaker 12: a lot of healthcare providers that do not take health insurance.
- 1:06:36Speaker 12: There's a lot of them that are in just a
- 1:06:37Speaker 12: certain network, and if you're not in that network, they're
- 1:06:40Speaker 12: not going to accept there.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Okay, let me stop you real, yeah, because I want
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: to make sure what you're saying, so you go to
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: What you're saying is if you go to the hospital
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: for a car accident and that the hospital will not
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: allow you to use your health insurance in a hospital
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: for a car accident.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: No, the the hospital knows that they've got to bill
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: your car insurance. Okay. All providers that see you for
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: a car accident, no, they've got to bill your car
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: insurance first. Okay.
- 1:07:04Speaker 12: If they don't bill your car insurance within thirty five days,
- 1:07:06Speaker 12: they don't get paid. Oh Like there's an exception for
- 1:07:09Speaker 12: the hospital, of course, Okay, but everybody else if they
- 1:07:12Speaker 12: don't bill within thirty five days, they don't get paid
- 1:07:14Speaker 12: and they can't collect it from you, right all right, right,
- 1:07:16Speaker 12: So all the all the providers know that the hospital
- 1:07:18Speaker 12: has more time to bill. But yeah, the hospital, they
- 1:07:23Speaker 12: will take your health insurance. Yeah, they will take your
- 1:07:24Speaker 12: health insurance.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: And where are the situations where you hear like the
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: same situation where you go to it, you get in
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: a back trash, your ten thousand is exhausted, you go
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: to the hospital, and we hear that sometimes the patient
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: themselves will have to wind up paying the hospital back
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: for services provided. And that's that's where we kind of
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: got other questions as well as like, wait a minute,
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: I thought I had all this cover up. Now I'm
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: gona bill from my hospital and I use my health
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: insurance still, but they charged me because they said it
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: kind of ended a certain place or didn't end.
- 1:07:53Speaker 12: Or that's an interesting question and maybe some confusion with
- 1:07:56Speaker 12: something else I'll get into in a minute. But no,
- 1:07:58Speaker 12: if the hosp if you have health insur insurance, the
- 1:08:00Speaker 12: hospital will bill your health insurance and have to accept
- 1:08:05Speaker 12: what the health insurance pays or adjust off what the
- 1:08:08Speaker 12: fee schedule is, and they'll pay minus whatever your deductile
- 1:08:11Speaker 12: or co pay is. There is an exception. Now, one
- 1:08:13Speaker 12: of the exceptions is Medicare. Medicare, the hospital says we
- 1:08:17Speaker 12: don't have to build medicare because medicare is supposed to
- 1:08:19Speaker 12: be a last resort. So sometimes with a car accident case,
- 1:08:23Speaker 12: there'll be a big hospital bill. The hospital bill doesn't
- 1:08:26Speaker 12: want to build medicare because they get paid so little
- 1:08:29Speaker 12: that they try to get the money from the person's settlement.
- 1:08:32Speaker 12: And then we've got to negotiate that and got it.
- 1:08:34Speaker 12: It becomes you know, a number numbridge game. But what
- 1:08:38Speaker 12: you're talking about, as far as a payback provision, that's
- 1:08:41Speaker 12: another segue into that. Your health insurance. If you recover
- 1:08:45Speaker 12: money from a car accident where you had medical bills
- 1:08:48Speaker 12: that you recovered money for, and the health insurance is
- 1:08:51Speaker 12: paid towards towards those medical bills, your health insurance plans
- 1:08:55Speaker 12: all have language that says you've got to pay us
- 1:08:58Speaker 12: back what we paid.
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: Just throwed in they said they had one hundred thousand
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: dollars from the atfoll party in this settlement had to
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: pay his health insurance company back almost forty grand whoa yea.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: If you get a settlement like I guess, you negotiate
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: a settlement, let's say I a quarter million dollars whatever,
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: and when you went to the hospital they did one
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars worth a work on you, you will
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: owe them a certain percentage or all of that.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Yeah, let's take an example.
- 1:09:23Speaker 12: Let's say this person that called in had a case
- 1:09:25Speaker 12: that was worth two hundred thousand. Let's say the hospital
- 1:09:28Speaker 12: bill was one hundred thousand dollars. One hundred and fifty
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: thousand dollars. Yeah, it's not hard to get a one
- 1:09:32Speaker 12: hundred thousand dollars settlement. And that's probably all the insurance
- 1:09:35Speaker 12: that the athault party has, right, I guess one hundred
- 1:09:37Speaker 12: thousand dollars. Now, the hospital has been paid by health insurance,
- 1:09:41Speaker 12: so that bill is pretty much wiped out.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: And the health.
- 1:09:44Speaker 12: Insurance says, hey, we paid forty grand toward that hospital bill.
- 1:09:47Speaker 12: We want to be paid back. Well, there are lawyers
- 1:09:51Speaker 12: that don't understand that you can negotiate with the health
- 1:09:54Speaker 12: insurance to pay back much less, especially because it takes
- 1:09:58Speaker 12: the person who got hurt. One third of their money
- 1:10:01Speaker 12: goes to the lawyer to get the money, so the
- 1:10:05Speaker 12: health insurance should also be reducing by one third to
- 1:10:08Speaker 12: get their money. And we get into these arguments with
- 1:10:10Speaker 12: the health insurance companies. What they do is they send
- 1:10:13Speaker 12: out their it's collection agencies. Essentially, there's these companies that
- 1:10:19Speaker 12: the health insurance folks use, well is United Healthcare, Florida Blue,
- 1:10:22Speaker 12: any of them. They use these companies to collect on
- 1:10:25Speaker 12: what they've paid out. And we have to negotiate with
- 1:10:27Speaker 12: these people like we're negotiating with adjusters. And you know,
- 1:10:30Speaker 12: after a case settles, sometimes the hardest part is dealing
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: with these people that want to be paid back more
- 1:10:36Speaker 12: money than.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: They really should be getting right, right, right, So you know.
- 1:10:38Speaker 12: Lawyers have to spend a lot of time doing that,
- 1:10:40Speaker 12: and you need to make sure the fellow who had
- 1:10:43Speaker 12: to pay back forty round hopefully his lawyer negotiated to
- 1:10:46Speaker 12: get that down to forty from something much more that
- 1:10:48Speaker 12: the health insurance paid out.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: And you can't have your lawyer doing that a whole
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: bunch because lawyers aren't free either, right, say, well, that's
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: part of the case. Yeah, that's part of the case.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Lawyer's getting the third you know, that's part of what
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: the lawyer's supposed to do. If the lawyer's not doing it,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: not doing his job. What is prescription insurance? Because somebody
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: asked about that, I've never even heard that term before.
- 1:11:07Speaker 12: Yeah, I see it very rarely, and when I do
- 1:11:10Speaker 12: see it, it's usually Medicare because there's a part D.
- 1:11:12Speaker 12: Medicare pays for scripts. That's usually what I see. That's
- 1:11:15Speaker 12: the same deal. Yeah, okay, good.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: What about VA insurance? Is there any difference when it
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: comes to veterans?
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Yeah, VA is a VA trycare.
- 1:11:25Speaker 12: It's it's these government agencies sometimes are more difficult to
- 1:11:29Speaker 12: deal with, but mainly you can negotiate with them to
- 1:11:32Speaker 12: get it reduced.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Just slow.
- 1:11:33Speaker 12: Yeah, it's it's you're dealing with the government. They're understaffed.
- 1:11:37Speaker 12: Every government I know it's understaffed.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, underpaid, understaff.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: And they don't you know, they don't really care. They
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: got a job.
- 1:11:43Speaker 12: Someone's looking over their shoulder, just like all these other places.
- 1:11:46Speaker 12: Everybody's looking over their shoulder and they want to do
- 1:11:48Speaker 12: a good job for whatever company they're worth. And it's
- 1:11:50Speaker 12: it's a lawyer's job to make sure the client doesn't
- 1:11:52Speaker 12: get short changed.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: So Glenn, real quick.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: I know obviously, once you've you've had a settlement with
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: another attorney, it's too late to call you when say
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: can you take this case? But if someone got that
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: forty thousand dollars bill and said to their attorney. Isn't
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: there any way we can negotiate and that attorney says no,
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: and then that person calls you and you set them straight.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: Is that something they could then take back to their
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: legal counsel and say, listen, yeah, I've heard differently.
- 1:12:17Speaker 12: They got an attorney analytic case, and it's up to
- 1:12:19Speaker 12: that stage. It's it's not something I'm going to get
- 1:12:22Speaker 12: involved in, but you know, I'm giving information out where
- 1:12:24Speaker 12: people in that situation. You need to talk to your
- 1:12:26Speaker 12: attorney and say I heard on the radio that you
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: can negotiate this and you need to get it reduced,
- 1:12:31Speaker 12: and that's what I want you to do.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: And the attorney's gonna be like, that's just like reading
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: it online.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Well, and they just texted back and said yep, And
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: thirty two years later, I'm in pain every day.
- 1:12:40Speaker 12: Yeah, well that's you know, that's why you need as
- 1:12:42Speaker 12: much uninsure motors scarverage as you can get. I don't
- 1:12:44Speaker 12: know if you had one hundred thousand dollars settlement for
- 1:12:46Speaker 12: uninsured motorscarbage or what he had, but you know, part
- 1:12:48Speaker 12: of the problem is injuries cause lifetime pain and there's
- 1:12:54Speaker 12: many times not enough insurance to cover you, and there's
- 1:12:56Speaker 12: not much the lawyer can do when there's not enough
- 1:12:58Speaker 12: insurance to cover you.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Like legit. One of the best of one of the
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: best like purchases you can make as a person is
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: just having as much of that as you can afford.
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: Absolutely, yeah, absolutely. You nobody, especially get in an accident.
- 1:13:08Speaker 12: You always put it off. But you know, especially in
- 1:13:11Speaker 12: Central Florida here, especially this time of year with the weather,
- 1:13:14Speaker 12: it just stuff happens and it's not your fault and
- 1:13:18Speaker 12: it's bad one. Yeah, you know, you've got a lifetime
- 1:13:20Speaker 12: of injuries now and there's not enough insurance to cover it.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: We're all not as lucky as that guy that was
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: in the news the other day. You gotta see that
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: eighty one years old, never had insurance, never had a ticket, no,
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: never had insurance, never had a driver's license, and drove
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: for until he was eighty one years old and got
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: pulled over and they found out he'd been driving for
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: sixty years without a license or insurance.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: It must have been some rural place. I was gonna say,
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: what finds on that you don't you day out there?
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: To me, that's the American dream, A dream, isn't it?
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: All right, that's Colsman Maal, that's k L A U
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: S m A and the law dot com as. His
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: offices are right there in winter Park. Glenn's great guy,
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: super lawyer, elite, all of the great awards you could
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: ever get here in Central Florida. Also one of the
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: lawyers that other lawyers call when they need advice on
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: really difficult cases involving car accidents. That's where he specializes,
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: but he also does triple and fall and other injury cases.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: Absolutely premises liability all kinds of stuff. And if I
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: don't do it, I know an expert lawyer who does
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: do it. And I get you over there right and
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: he'll answer your call. If you have any questions about
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: something that's really confusing, causing your family some pain or
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: uh some discomfort, give my man a call. He'll glad
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: to give you some good advice. And he always says it,
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: I just want to help people. That's true, Yeah, it
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: is true. There's no harm in helping people. I don't
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: have to make money all the time on stuff. You know,
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: there's good car men helping folks.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: There is good gym in.
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: The form of Bizarros always gets you man, You man right,
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: seven nine four one, Texas seven seven zero three one.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: Everybody in these rooms has given and gotten gifts gift cards.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: But did you know there was etiquette when it comes
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: to gift cards. I'll tell you exactly what happened and
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: what you should not do.
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: Next.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: You can watch radio being made on a daily basis
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: at Jim Colbert Show on YouTube.
- 1:15:12Speaker 22: Going back to your earlier conversations, my son out in Shreveport, Louisiana,
- 1:15:18Speaker 22: him and his buddies got caught card counting, got trespassed
- 1:15:22Speaker 22: from the Jimmy Buffett casino out there. He's banned from
- 1:15:26Speaker 22: any casino in Louisiana. Took him out to Vegas a
- 1:15:31Speaker 22: couple of years ago. We were at the blackjack table
- 1:15:34Speaker 22: for about maybe fifteen minutes when they came over and
- 1:15:37Speaker 22: snatched him up out of the chair and wow escorted
- 1:15:40Speaker 22: him out.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: Yeah, man, that'll play. All those people know each other.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: They did not play, all right.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Jim Colberg Show. Real Areadio one
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: oh four point one. I am Jim Devis here. Hello, Jack,
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Yep and Sauce as well.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: I think you should be able to count cards.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Well, I mean, there's great arguments for that, because I mean,
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: but they don't.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: They don't.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Here's the thing, you can, they just don't have to
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: let you play there. Yeah, I mean that's that you
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: can count your ass off, but when they catch you
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: doing it, they have the right to reserve to throw
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: you right out. But how did they catch you winning percentage?
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: I think winning percentage?
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: Your eyes are rattling, your eyes are rolled back, and
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: you start to shake.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: And I've heard they've got cameras everywhere, right, they do,
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: and they they've learned a lot of the tells that
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: people have when they're doing that, because one of the
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: first times I remember somebody getting busted is they had
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: accounting apparatus in their shoe. So what they would do
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: is is what you're doing. You're counting face cards and
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: value of lower cards, right, and what you're trying to
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: do is predict the percentage or chance that a ten
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: or you know what would come out, namely a ten,
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: I believe, I remember I And they would have this
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: little clicker thing and they would click their toe to
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: tell how many to keep account of how many tens
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: have been played or how many of this has been played,
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: and it's a plus or minus thing. And it gave
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: them a marketed advantage over the game. I mean, in
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: black jack is one of the few in the casino
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: you actually have a shot at winning, even if you're
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: not counting, and even if you're a soft at counting,
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: and you can kind of have a good memory, I mean,
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: you can edge yourself to get a tiny advantage. These
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: guys had a massive advantage and they just know the percentages.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: And when you sit down there and win for three
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: straight hours, it's just very odd.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Well then, yeah, yeah, okay, gift cards. You don't like them.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: I do.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Actually, I don't mind them at all. I I mean,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: to me, they're easier to keep than cash. I put
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: them in my little thing and my little money clip thing,
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: and I just kind of use them what I want.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: I would always have like a Starbucks card that I
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: would receive for like Father's Day or Christmas. I almost
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: always had one for the longest time. I don't have
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: them anymore. Here's the issue here, Here is the drama
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: with gift cards. The story I read today, all right, okay,
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: a woman, this is a Reddit story. Woman writes to
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Reddit and says, is it wrong that I'm upset with
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: my friend because my friend gave me a twenty five
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: dollars gift card for a pedicure. Do you see the problem?
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't cover the cost of the petticure with
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: a Tit not even close, right, not even close.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: And what she said that gift card etiquette should be
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: is is if you give somebody a gift card for something,
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: it should cover the entire cost of whatever. That is
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: based on. And I'll give you an example. For Jack's
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: birthday this year, I think I gave Jack a fifty
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: dollars gift card to AMC. Yes, is that what it was?
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: I don't well, yeah, it was a combo thing of
- 1:18:32Speaker 6: different places and I chose out back.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: Right, so okay. But the idea of the card, because
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: I know he likes going to the movies, was I
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: want to get Jack in the movie and get snacks,
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: and I figure for fifty dollars you can get into
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: the movie because usually it's like, you know, twelve, thirteen,
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: fourteen bucks whatever. You get into the movie and it
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: leaves you another twenty five dollars to get a soda
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: and some popcorn and some candy. That's a date. I
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: would never give him a ten dollars gift card to
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: AMC to go to the movies, because it doesn't cover
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: any You can't even buy one full.
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: Ticket with that.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a ticket to go spend more money. Yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: So the idea of the gift card etiquette is is,
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: if you buy somebody a gift card somewhere, it should
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: cover at least one complete thing. Absolutely. If I give
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: you a gift card to a restaurant, it's got to
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: be more than twenty dollars because you're not getting anything
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: in a restaurant for twenty bucks. So if you get
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: a gift card for a restaurant for anybody minimum, it
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: should be as fifty dollars.
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: And the pedicure should have been fifty because that would
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: have covered the cost for the pedicure and the tip.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Yeah maybe, depending on where you go, right, Jack, when
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: you when you went to outback, the gym's gift card
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: cover it. It's still sitting on my desk. I don't
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: use it yet. Okay, Well, well the Bloom and Onion
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: to weaights. No one wants to go with me. Oh,
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: that's the most believable thing you said today. That is
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: by far the most believable thing you've said today. And
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: you have kids, that's a scary part.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: You don't like me.
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: They don't like to leave the house if it's not
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: uber eats, They're not interesting.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: I'll go rip some Aussie fries or maybe some kuckubar
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: a wing Ozzie fries.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: How do you mention ol back and not say bloomin onion?
- 1:20:03Speaker 17: I did?
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, the brown bread. Yeah, he worked there for
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: a minute. Literally A called a no call, no show.
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: All right, Well he had a party to go to.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: You're the expert.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: I love out back steak houses menu. It touched my
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: life in a very formative time. How's that I was
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: working there in high school? Man, I was a bus boy.
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: So I know, let's go back to the I'll hang
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: out with jack Ass gift guard. Yeah, yeah, I'm down.
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: Let me achieve the Australian date.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. I know a number
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: of other people in our audience probably have done this
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: for a living. I think almost everybody for a part
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: time job at one point worked at a fast food
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: restaurant or a restaurant of some sort. Right, he worked
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: at one, cross worked at one, I worked at one,
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: deb worked at one. So on our We had one
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: hundred percent hit rate on this show alone. I was
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: the takeout chickenosis. Let me ask the guy. Let me
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: ask Jack and deba question. Do you do you believe
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: that Ross ate from the food that he bust? Do
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: you believe that Ross? Do you believe that Ross busts tables,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: took that bust table back to the back and ate
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: food that other people were going to throw away?
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: Jack? What say you? Yes? Deb?
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: What say you no?
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: What? No? There is I'm telling you right now.
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: He has the look of a trash panda, but I
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: don't know if he has the soul of one.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Although he was a high school he was a teenage boy.
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: You're judging him from thirty five year old Ross, not
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: sixteen and a half year old.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: All right, I will take I'll change my vote. He's
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: a definite. I would say the chances of that are
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: one hundred trillion percent. There is zero question that Ross
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: paget while busting tables at out back ate left over
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: steak or whatever, no question. All right, So, and there's
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: no question other people in our audience did that same thing. Dude,
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: if I was in that job, I would be fatter
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: than hell.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: No, I never did that. Oh, I would eat it,
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: not ever. I never ate scraps. I am proud to.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: Say, Wow, he's not a trash panda.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: No, no, no, keep talking. No, that's the move. We're moving on.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: No, we are not moving on to I'm gonna tell
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: you something true. I was at a wing restaurant one time.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: This is a true story. I'm gonna tell you something else.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: This wasn't that long ago. And I looked over and
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: they'd ordered this kid a plate of wings. And this
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: kid did not eat one of the wings. He didn't
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: want him. He threw a fit a his mom. They
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: wind up leaving early, and there was a plate of
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: brand new hot ass wings not even just right across
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: the table. I had to be talked out of it.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: I went over and picked up that plate of wings
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: and ate him. I had to be talked out of it.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: I'm literally serious.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Five years ago, when things did get returned, that's mine
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: fair enough, right, because they yeah, they didn't need it,
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: they didn't touch it. I didn't order this. And then
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: now this, when we started getting down to the street
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: rat level, I'll be putting orders in for people who
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: didn't order anything. Ross Ross Pageant ross paget.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: So you stole from the company that you did a
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: no call, no show.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: Why is that sealing? Stealing? Coaling? Serious? Well, I haven't
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: applied adult logic to young me in a long time. Dude,
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: I don't know if it's like five rosses ago.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that is completely stealing.
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: Yeah, my bag.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Told me at the place he worked before he goes,
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: he goes, yeah, man, they're they're getting killed at my restaurant.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: I'm like, why, it's because all the servers go steal
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: the food out of the out of the cooler.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: People are like taking steaks and chicken and all this
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: about the cooler, just stealing it right.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: There, the worst thing that I've ever been a part
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: of stealing?
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: Can we do this?
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: Like, right, we'll figure out what the statute is.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: After you say limit to the grand theft auto six
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: comes out, you know, there's no more rules. But when
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: I worked at a retirement home, now, I was never
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: the thief. I just greatly benefited from hanging out with
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: the thief. So let me preface that's called exactly. Yeah,
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: I'm definitely doing both of those. But yeah, he would
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: just he was the lead bartender for a retirement home.
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: And then he would always just act as if all
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: these old homies are drinking way more than they actually are,
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: and by the end of the night, we're, you know,
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: under twenty one, and we're grabbing bottles of vodka in
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: different rooms and whatnot. Wow. Yeah, so, like a good
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: shift would usually get like a bottle and a hand.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: You know, would be the toughest thing for me to do. God,
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: this is gonna sound awful. If I worked at a
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: breakfast restaurant, I would. I would not be able to
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: throw a piece of bacon away. I'm telling you straight up,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: I could, I wouldn't be able to do it. I would,
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: and I would have a serious.
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: Number of someone else's plate untouched without question that came
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: back on the Busters. Yes, without question, I would have
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: a you're the trash Panda, but part.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: Of the you have trash pans, Yes, the world. I
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: would have such a hard time throwing away a for
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: a perfectly piece of a piece of bacon. That would
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: be very difficult for your boy.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: If I was like at First Watch and they had
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: that million dollar bacon, Oh yeah, dude, they don't have
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: to leave. I'll steal it from him, but just pull
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: those are mine, Jack, you worked at the restaurant. I did.
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: What did you steal? Well, I know I didn't steal.
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: I was the manager, so I had to prevent others
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: from stealing. Yeah, you stole, but you just didn't get caught. Okay,
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: that's what managers do.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: You borrowed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was about I was
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: making executive decisions. He liked us over that tiny ass
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: little restaurant office that they have, you know, the one
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: you can barely sit down in.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: I can't believe I just found out that I was
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: stealing from outbacks live on air.
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: Food, Well, you know, if it was untouched, it's like, alright,
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: I'll eat that.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: Yeah, man, I mean, come on, dude, who wants to
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: throw food away? And there's perfect types away. There's perfect
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: types of food that are like easy for the grab in,
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: Like a cheese stick. Oh yeah, cheese stick. Yeah, dude,
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: you could tell if someone nibbled on it. Yeah, that's
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: why I think chicken wings are a perfect steel. Chicken
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: wings are a good food to steal.
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: Someone just texted us at seven seven zero three. One
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: worked at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for a little while. Table
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: sent back a one hundred dollars South African lobster tail
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: appetizer because it was too chewy.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: We devoured that all. Oh you bet that thing's never
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: hit in the trash. That ain't never hit the trash.
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, when some when player or when customers would return
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: their food, I was the trash can and every now
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: and then, Yeah, I can't believe it, but I would
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: be like, oh, I think they ordered cheese fries. You're
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: not gonna tell you if they sent a burger.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: Ba if they sent a burger back with a bite
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: out of one side and they're like, it's not cooked enough,
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: I would eat the other side of it, even if
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: somebody took a bite out of it, I would eat
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: the unbitten side and would have zero problem with it.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: Inside they were holding with their Hey, no problem, jack ew.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: No, No, I'm not gonna eat your grits with a
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: spoon in it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: You have standards.
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: Come on, man, I got some world.
- 1:27:13Speaker 23: Man.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Can you imagine how many people are audience are laughing
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: their nuts off right now because they knew for a
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: fact that when they were doing, when they were in
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: this world, how much food they ganged from restaurants.
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: Yeah, there's lol. That is normal restaurant behavior, guys.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: And also like, is this stealing?
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: I feel a little guilty when I've done this in
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: the past, and I go, uh, I'll go to Chipotle.
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: I'll go, yeah, I'll go burrito chicken, and then they
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: hit me with the regular like chicken protein and then
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: I go, can I also get steak? And they'll be like, oh, well,
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: it costs more for double meat. But I already know
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: they've given me the full meat quantity sort of thing,
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: because if you ask for two meats, they're gonna skimp
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: on both me.
- 1:27:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, So what you're saying, so you wait for them
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: to put the full serving, then you ask for the steak.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Is that dirty? Yeah? That's up for debate. Now.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: I think that's that's just smart, that's Fair's fair?
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: You dog eat dog war Jim. No, they are setting
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: the price. He is a green. You are openly manipulating Chipotle,
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: And in our.
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: Constitution, maybe they have a right to remove some of
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: that chicken.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: And if they don't, they can't, I mean, they can't
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: put that back in.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: The thing.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: Benefits And that's what I get it. Text us at
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: seven seven zero three one that gonna say.
- 1:28:32Speaker 24: Hey, from back in the nineties at a buddy who
- 1:28:34Speaker 24: worked out at the Kennedy Space Center in the cafe
- 1:28:37Speaker 24: and at the end of the night, when they would
- 1:28:39Speaker 24: throw out all the leftover cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches and
- 1:28:44Speaker 24: hot dogs and pizzas they were pre wrapped, he would
- 1:28:49Speaker 24: put a fresh trash bag in, throw him into that,
- 1:28:51Speaker 24: and then put that bag with just that left that
- 1:28:54Speaker 24: throwaway food by the dumpster and bring it back and
- 1:28:56Speaker 24: we'd all eat it all weekend.
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: Not an uncommon tactic.
- 1:29:01Speaker 13: Yeah, hey, guys's checking in.
- 1:29:04Speaker 25: I love you.
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: So I worked at chipopele Uh.
- 1:29:09Speaker 13: I ate so much chicken off the grill before you
- 1:29:13Speaker 13: cut it, just whole pieces of chicken breast. I would
- 1:29:17Speaker 13: take it into the freezer and then also then like
- 1:29:20Speaker 13: they threw away all the meat, so I would put
- 1:29:23Speaker 13: another bag in the trash can, and I took the
- 1:29:26Speaker 13: trash out and I would put another bag in and
- 1:29:29Speaker 13: I would take that to my car when I took
- 1:29:30Speaker 13: the trash out.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:29:34Speaker 23: Back in high school, I worked a closer at Taco Belt.
- 1:29:38Speaker 23: We would always accidentally make extra food that nobody asked
- 1:29:41Speaker 23: were so at the end of the night we had
- 1:29:44Speaker 23: food to go, didn't hurt nobody.
- 1:29:48Speaker 26: Good after morning cobrat crew. So yeah, back when I
- 1:29:52Speaker 26: used to work at Texas Roadhouse, couldn't necessarily steel anything.
- 1:29:55Speaker 26: But when I worked in the kitchen, always nibbling on
- 1:29:58Speaker 26: something and you know, no, they did all the fresh
- 1:30:02Speaker 26: steak cutting every single day. They're always ended up with undercuts,
- 1:30:05Speaker 26: which I could buy for pennies on the dollar, which
- 1:30:07Speaker 26: was great. Big.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: That's not stealing though, no, because you're paying for it.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: Big tis trying.
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: To this conversation about what would you eat from a
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: restaurant plate like thing. I worked at several restaurants. Of
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: course we all did, right, but I just don't want
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: to do that. But the thing is, some of it
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: looks real good. And then I think you could do
- 1:30:30Speaker 7: it with shrimp, not just any shrimp, though it's got
- 1:30:34Speaker 7: to be ones in shells because they're like in little jackets.
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: Then what could go wrong with that? Plus a hot sauce,
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: So it's kind of like, you know, sanitized.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: I love her every time. I wonder if she had
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: big step prawns.
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: Yeah, we.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: Had a text about a shrimp that we cannot tell
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: you about. Made all of the laugh that will thank
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: you for the shrimp test.
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: Say this.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: Uh, the guy says, eating a shrimp not a big
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: deal because I would tongue punch.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: Blank blank mink.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: All right, welcome back to the Jim Forward Show Real
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: Radio one oh four point one. I am Jim deb
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: is here, Hello is here? And Ross as well. That
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: is true.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: I think we have set the record for the puking
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: emoji all the texting service for this stuff, and we.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: Have had more people text us the puking emoji over
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: just the idea of eating food off somebody else's plate.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: That's so crazy. And my god, have we gotten how
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: many texts?
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: Oh? And keep up with them?
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Unreal? All right, four seven nine one. Again you can
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: always text us at seven seven zero three one.
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: What Oh my low budget DIY wedding may have been
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: mostly catered from the quote unquote excess at my job.
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: Oh no, oh yeah, paid for a wedding lately? Still
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: all you can so what we used to do when
- 1:31:51Speaker 4: I work for Gabriel subshop here in town. For people
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: who do not remember, I think there's only one left
- 1:31:55Speaker 4: open on Edgewater Drive, But at one point that family
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: had like fifteen restaurant unts all throughout the Orlando area.
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: The brother Jerry, whom I worked for, he had the
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: one in Pine Hills. I had actually two in Pine Hills,
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: and that was one of my first jobs when I
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: moved to Orlando in the mid eighties, and he managed
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: the inventory by counting roles. In other words, he knew
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: exactly how many sub rolls that he had and we
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: only had one size roll there for the longest time.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: Then we incorporated a mini roll, but your pay on
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: top of your pay, you would get a roll a
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: day and you could make whatever sub you wanted. Oh,
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: that's kind of right, but if you ate, if you
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: have to work a double.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: You did not get another sub, you didn't get another role,
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: so you were just kind of sol Well, what we
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: did is we would call around to other restaurants in
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: the areas to see if their employees had the same
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: kind of deal, and sure enough, dude, at one point
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: in Pine Hills, we had a network a pizza place,
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: a Hamburger place, a Chinese place, and a breakfast place,
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: and we would trade our subs as the employees for
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: their food.
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: And then it got to the point where like it
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: was a thing.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: We would get pizza some days, trading our stuff we
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: would get breakfast if we were there early, trading our
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: subs for their breakfast and stuff. That's a great idea.
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: Actually that's not bad. Yeah, never stole from that guy,
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: go because it was crazy. They want to deal with
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: that dude. He ate all his tuna salad and crackers.
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: Oh that's a good time.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: That is a good time. Is that how you got
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: through a double?
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: So that's exactly what I would do, is when I
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: didn't have a roll and I was hungry. They had
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: the best tuna salad in the world, and I would
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: go eat their tuna salad on saltine crackers and that
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: would be my meal.
- 1:33:27Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: Yeah, But you would dip it out of the og canister,
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: wouldn't you.
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: You'd grab that tuna salad that's probably in like an ice,
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: you know, stainless steel canister that's hovered over you know ice.
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: This one stayed in a cooler. But you're right though,
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: you'd have.
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: To pull it a cooler, right, right, So then you
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: would just put crackers straight into you, you would.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: I took a plastic fork and I used that to
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: dip in there and put it on there.
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: Like you don't want cracker crumbs in the tunic and
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: then your ass busted.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: It's a dead giveaway. She's dead right.
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: You gotta know how to steel, dude, cos I know
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: how to the only worried about Jim over there. Chrumes
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: is not a thing that happens.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: He does have a point, dude. Have you seen how
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: much I wait? Now, trust me, those crumbs are getting away, buddy,
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: You're a walking jack and Jill's story crumbs everywhere around
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: this building. You guys, leave me some mazarros there.
- 1:34:21Speaker 3: You go, very nice?
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: Yeah, those are yeah, keep an eye ross. He likes
- 1:34:26Speaker 6: them a little too much.
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: So my son likes that stuff so much. Oh, there's
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: more puke emojis. Thank you, guys, appreciate that very much.
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: By the way, real quick, I just want to let
- 1:34:33Speaker 4: everyone know that we did have an earlier severe thunderstorm
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: warning that included Kissimi and Orlando, but that one canceled
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: at four forty five. Now we have another severe thunderstorm warning,
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: this time for Ostiola, Brevard, and Marion County Sumter counties
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: as well.
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so I mean it's you know, and by
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: the way, we're going back to the guy who did
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: the two guys that did the trash can thing. I
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: knew a guy he used to steal beer that way.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: I used to.
- 1:35:02Speaker 17: Uh.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: He was he was responsible for entering emptying all the
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: small trash cans around the store. And while doing that,
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: this guy would put a twelve pack of beer in
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: this and then throwing the dumpster, and then after work
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: would go back and grab that one out of the
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: dumpster and have beer for the night. And that guy
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: actually got busted doing that. Really, yeah, I did well.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: Stealing alcohol is when you take it up to a
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: whole another life, especially when you're seventeen. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: no good.
- 1:35:30Speaker 6: So me and my friends we rented a place in
- 1:35:32Speaker 6: the Poconots for a week and one buddy worked at
- 1:35:35Speaker 6: a bar and restaurant. He was a cook, and over
- 1:35:38Speaker 6: the couple months leading up to that time we were taken,
- 1:35:41Speaker 6: he would grab a case of beer. We went there
- 1:35:44Speaker 6: with twenty nine cases of beer. Oh my god, you
- 1:35:48Speaker 6: don't even drink beer. I know, you don't even drink beer, dude.
- 1:35:52Speaker 6: We did then ran out of weed that week.
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: We have plenty of beer. Yeah, yeah, all right?
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: Four or seven nine one one o four one. You
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: always text us again seven seven zero three one trivia
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: coming up in just a few seconds. I did want
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: to say this. You know, we've be talking about the
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: World Cup a little bit, and earlier this week we
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: talked about some of the stuff that other travelers have
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: found interesting about America. I saw another story of this
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: today that I found kind of interesting. These are idiosyncrasies
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: that world travelers coming to the to America for the
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: World Cup have a hard time kind of acclimating to
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: when it comes to being an American. And some of
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: these I did not know. I mean I didn't I
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: know this now I do know one of these. Obviously,
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: the tipping culture thing for our foreign countries is really
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: weird for them because as a rule, they don't do
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: it much in their home in their home or not
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: at all actually, but one of these is this, did
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: you guys where you guys were in Europe? And specific
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: parts of Europe. It's even worse than others that they
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: don't do small talk like he They say that it's
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: weird to be in America and be on a subway
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: or walking around and just have someone start a conversation
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: with you and they do not know who you are,
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: just being kind and courteous asking how you're doing like
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: that doesn't happen in Europe, and they're and they and
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: they kind of think it's odd in America.
- 1:37:09Speaker 4: You know, it's not culturally the norm. When you say
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: good morning to a little old woman in England and
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: she looks at you like like.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: F off, I don't know you. Yeah, it says America's
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: often talked to strangers as if they already know them.
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: A casual how are you from a cashier is usually reading,
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: not an invitation to share your life story.
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: It says.
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: For many visitors, the friendliness is charming at first, but
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: it comes confusing because there's no real follow up. You know,
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: how you doing doing great?
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: Half a great day, okay, and then that's it. There's
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: no conversation. He was being courteous to each other, but
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: apparently that doesn't fly in Europe. They don't do that.
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: I've heard that that we are we you got to talk.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: There's about three or four layers before you get to
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: how you really are feeling.
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and one of the other ones here is I
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: found interesting and I completely understand. This is how Americans
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: tend to guard their personal space. Oh yeah, Europeans think
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: it's weird that Americans want so much space between each
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: other when they converse, because there is none of that exactly.
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: You know what the average American how much they want
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: between them and the person they're talking to. I thought
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: it was three It is three feet exactly. Yeah, three feet.
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: That's what they want. They want you that far away
- 1:38:25Speaker 2: to talk to you because if you're any closer, that's
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: close talking and Americans do not care for that. And
- 1:38:30Speaker 2: apparently in Europe that's really common. I don't want to
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: smell your colone or your breath.
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: And in Japan as well, right, because it's so crowded
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: in Japan, not as much space, so you don't get
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: that personal space there.
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: And they said, one of the things that's even weirder
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: is is if you're here and you are in a
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: conversation with an American and the American will take a
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: step back me. Yeah, they will literally take a step
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: back from you to create that space. And they think
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: that's rude. They take that as you don't want to
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: be near me, or you don't like me. They don't
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: take it as this is just my personal space, don't
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: want you in it. We're perfectly cool, just cool here
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: they don't look at it like that. They think that's rude.
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: So when you step back as an American to somebody
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: from another country, they think you're kind of getting away
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: from them, not really understanding the personal space thing we have.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: We are. Yeah, So the first two things is that like, yeah,
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: Americans small talk, but from a distance themall Yeah, they
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: talk too much. Don't talk to me, but get closer,
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: it says Americans love of ice, Yes, is crazy. No,
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: I've heard this in England, but I haven't heard it
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: throughout the This is ordering a drink in US usually
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: means getting a glass packed with ice. Visitors often joke
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: that Americans drink water as if it was meant to
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: numb their teeth.
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: They're just jealous because they don't have the recipe.
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: Yeah, it is frustrating though, because I mean if it's
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: a hot day and all you want is a cold
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: soda and you go order a soda and they hand
- 1:39:53Speaker 4: you the glass and then you you look at it
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: and you're like, well, can I get some ice?
- 1:39:56Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, and then one one cube. That's three cubes
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: of ice. Dude.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: Well, so we know about the we know about the
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: sales tax thing and the super sized portion. I would
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: imagine air conditioning is also on there.
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: I don't, well, let's get to that. Maybe.
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: Oh, they think dad jumping ahead. They think it's weird
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: that we have American flags everywhere. They think it's odd
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: because the American flag is ubiquitous, appearing on homes, clothing,
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: car decals, and visitors often remark how openly patriotic people
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: are compared to those in their home countries. For many foreigners,
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: the flag feels less like a symbol and more like
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: a part of the decor. It can signal pride, unity,
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: or intensity, depending on who is watching. Some might notice
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: how it changes with the seasons displayed with lights around decorations.
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: I mean, I wouldn't go that far. Well, I mean
- 1:40:43Speaker 3: that's just what they're saying. Yeah, I'm not gonna, you know,
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: like Halloween. I don't want to see a you know,
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: a Hall of October flag that was haunted flag.
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: Yeah. They think it's weird that we have drive through everything.
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: Damn right, Yeah, they think it's weird that we have
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: drive through is the drive through culture here is far
- 1:40:59Speaker 2: beyond on burgers. It says eighty three percent of American
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: workers commute by car, which helps explain the convenience, whereas
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: in Europe a lot of those areas you travel by bicycle,
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: so you're or public transportation, so you're not like hitting
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: drive throughs every five minutes like we are.
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: Yeah, we've got drive through bars, drive through churches, pharmacies,
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: drive through pharmacies.
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: I mean, food's the least of it. And they think
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: that it's impersonal. That's another big part of it is
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: they think pulling up to a drive through and getting
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: your precious whatever it may be, through a window is
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: so impersonal. That's what they one of the parts that
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: they can understand.
- 1:41:33Speaker 6: Yeah, well here it's called time time impersonal from the
- 1:41:37Speaker 6: people who don't like small talk.
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: That's a very good episode of observation. Go ahead, No,
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: it's just all of It's not like, No, it's very fast.
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: I'm not looking for When I go to a fast
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: food chain and I say, let me get a number four,
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: they don't want me part of their life. And I'm
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: pretty sure it goes both ways.
- 1:41:57Speaker 2: That's why it's a number four and not the order, right,
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: won't you even say in the burger name to they
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: just want a number dog.
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: It's how fast as we've got it out exactly right.
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: Here's a clothing win. All right, what do you think
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: the clothing win is something that Americans do with their
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: with clothing, something we wear that they think is really odd. Crocs, No,
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: not crocs that would fit though. It's a type of
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: clothing jeans, pajamas, this kind of clothing as every day.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: Whoa oh like yoga pants, leisure wear.
- 1:42:28Speaker 2: Leisure wear is a weird thing for them. Sweatpants, yoga pants,
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: all that stuff. For you to wear that as daily
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: wear to Europeans is wild to them. This is wearing
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: gym clothes outside the gym is really normal in the US. Sneakers, leggings, hoodies,
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: all that stuff, but it is not normal in European nation. Well,
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: that's how you spot the Americans when they're in Europe.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: It's just because there they care about fashion choices they do.
- 1:42:51Speaker 2: They want to look a certain way to kind of
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: purport a certain kind of vibe. And if you're just
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: out there in your gym clothes, you're not really making
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: a statement.
- 1:43:00Speaker 4: So the dad that goes there in his khaki shorts
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: disagree and his new balance and you know, his.
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: Polo shirt or you know, you can spot them a
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: mile away. Hear that, Adam Sandler, you are the ugly
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: American you are.
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: I'll throw this out here, is that. Yeah, sure, there's
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: gonna be more fashion and maybe this makes me a dirty,
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: stanky American, but yeah, address is absolutely more fashionable, and
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: it's prettier and it's way more beautiful. With that said,
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: I think every person has appreciated these this gym renaissance.
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: When it comes to fashion, there is a sexiness to
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: the gym. Uh just at and by the way, your
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: pants are hot and let's not dance around.
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: Man. One of the things at the bottom, we're running
- 1:43:46Speaker 2: out of time, he and I wanna get to this one.
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: One of the things at the bottom is the gym
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: culture in general, like the culture of going to gyms.
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: The gym centric culture that we have here is really
- 1:43:56Speaker 2: odd to Europeans.
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: Yeah, because you Parisians are just gonna walk, but they're
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: still going to have their French bread, their cafe, lay
- 1:44:03Speaker 4: their wine in the evening.
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: But you walk everywhere.
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: How about this one?
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: Europeans find it very bizarre that wherever you are in America,
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: chances are you can do this for free.
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: Oh man, wait say that again.
- 1:44:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it says Europeans freak out because when you come
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: to America, almost wherever you are, you can do this
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: for free, and you can't do it.
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: There free reef else.
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: I was going to say that bathrooms. Ah yeah, yeah, bathrooms,
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: because apparently all throughout Europe you get charged into the
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: bathroom in some places, it says in Europe and Asia,
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: small fee is the standard practice for using a restroom
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: in the public. Public restrooms are really bizarre there and
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: here they're everywhere, and they think that's weird. I mean,
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: I think it's cool, but it's weird. Drop some yen
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: to let it yawl. Also, we got to go, but
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: they think it's really weird that we drink sweet drinks
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: with meals, yeah, and not water or wine. And then
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: the other one is is they think it's well, they
- 1:44:57Speaker 2: think it's really cool but unique that our paper money
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: is uh, the uniform the uniformity of our money, it's
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: all the same size, yeah, their's is not.
- 1:45:05Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's kind of wild. In the same color.
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: I want to say, we're the only country that has
- 1:45:09Speaker 3: the same color of just all green all right for us.
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: I had a lot of that A good deal on
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: that ain't yeah, all right for a seven nine one

- 1:49:53Speaker 2: I think he was seventeen. I thought he was a
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: little bit younger, but yeah, he was like a high schooler.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: He's rode on the back of a bus if I
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: remember right. And he was a mega fan of the
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: Golden Girls and did have a replica of their house

- 1:50:06Speaker 3: And I love how the Golden Girls in the gay
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: community just hand in hand.
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: Nothing goes a number of other things before we get
- 1:50:14Speaker 2: over there. We're on shorts, so I'm gonna try to
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: rip through these fast. Faith was the first album by
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: a white solo artist to hit number one on the
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: Billboard R and B charts.
- 1:50:23Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: He died on Christmas Day, and so did his sister.
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: That was his last Christmas. WHOA too soon? Whoa dude?
- 1:50:34Speaker 16: Whoa?
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: I mean, it's like you've been waiting for that.
- 1:50:40Speaker 2: That's not that's a scary part. He wrote, produced, and
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: played almost every instrument for his massive album's Faith. Wow,
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: that's incredible. His birth name is Georgios Karaokos Pinto to.
- 1:50:52Speaker 4: A good Greek boy, we go, you knew you were
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: getting that. Every one from bad way worse to never again.
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: I'll Georgios Kariokos pana Yo two. That's his real name.
- 1:51:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I doubt it. Before Wham, he was in a
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: short lived SKA band called The Executive. And lastly he
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: turned down in an invitation to be knighted by the
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: Queen of England. Oh, he said it wasn't his thing. Okay, thoughts,
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: that's one of the coolest things you could say, that
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: not my thing? Your thoughts today is a question I
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: need to know the answer to. Do you have a
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: memory that at the time it was like a little embarrassing,
- 1:51:35Speaker 2: But as decades keep surpassing, as time keeps going right
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: by you, that memory just keeps getting worse and worse
- 1:51:47Speaker 2: and worse. Do you have a memory that keeps growing
- 1:51:51Speaker 2: with its embarrassment?
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: All right? Because I have one and it needs to
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: stop getting worse.
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: All right, we'll do that next guys, remember if you
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: want to play in the Real Radio Poker tournament. We
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: only have a few seats left. I think maybe under
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: ten now, so go to Real Radio Dot FM Slash
- 1:52:13Speaker 2: Poker and grab your seat. I literally cannot believe there's
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: even one left, So go get it now. Again, that's
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: Real Radio Dot FM Slash Poker Flag Chip event for
- 1:52:23Speaker 2: us here at Real Radio one or four point one,
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: and we really hope to see you there as we
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: raise money for a great cause and have a damn
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: good time while doing it. Welcome back on, Jim. There's
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: Deb Hello Jack as here as well. And Ross has
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: some thoughts. Let's get them. It's weird Today's thoughts.
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: It's funny trought to you by Sometimes it's Ross Mills
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: spelled like sauce.
- 1:52:49Speaker 3: It's Ross thoughts. Listen, guys, it's the devil's goots out
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: there here in Florida, and you need to cool down,
- 1:52:55Speaker 3: and there's no better way to cool down than with
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: Mills Air condition. I have a carr your unit. They
- 1:53:02Speaker 3: hooked me up. My home didn't even have a spot
- 1:53:04Speaker 3: for an AC unit, but they still made it happen
- 1:53:07Speaker 3: because they always make it work. Millsairmillsair dot Com. Jim, Yes, sir,
- 1:53:13Speaker 3: We're going to start off today's Ross Thoughts by a
- 1:53:16Speaker 3: small disclaimer. We will be as respectable as uh with
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: gloves on with today's topic as much as I possibly
- 1:53:25Speaker 3: can to whom to everyone the general public. Okay, all right,
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: because I don't I gotta be careful of how I
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: word this, because we're gonna go to someone of a
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: hard place maybe a little bit. But my first question
- 1:53:39Speaker 3: start churning out. My question to you guys is do
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: you have a memory not gonna share it that at
- 1:53:46Speaker 3: the time that was like, oh, like whoopsie daisy, And
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: then you move on, and then like a year later,
- 1:53:51Speaker 3: maybe you go back to that and you go like,
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: oh my god, that was way worse than I thought,
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: and it just won't leave. Like, uh, I remember one
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: time I walked into a I walked into a room
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: when I was sick, and as I was opening up
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: the door, I walked in saying, I'm on my third
- 1:54:12Speaker 3: pair of pants. Okay, all right, Yeah, I didn't know
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: that all of my mom's friends, oh my god, were
- 1:54:20Speaker 3: there in that room, and I embarrassed myself. You're just
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: speaking an open diarrhea commentary exactly. And as time keeps
- 1:54:28Speaker 3: going on, I keep thinking, who with a doorknob in
- 1:54:33Speaker 3: their hand walks and then claims just out with a megaphone?
- 1:54:40Speaker 3: Third pair of pants?
- 1:54:41Speaker 23: Me?
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: Third round?
- 1:54:43Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I really don't want to tell this one.
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: Like how about this. I When I was a kid,
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: I thought it was dormy dot com. Remember that. As
- 1:54:54Speaker 3: I kept getting older, I'm like, damn, dude, I was
- 1:54:57Speaker 3: a dumb kid. That's go army dot com. So you
- 1:55:03Speaker 3: have these memories that as a kid you're like, oh,
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: that was a little swing and a miss or maybe
- 1:55:07Speaker 3: a teenager, maybe in your early twenties, But as you
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: keep getting older. Here's one that I shared on air before.
- 1:55:15Speaker 3: Do you remember when my wife was like, all right,
- 1:55:17Speaker 3: we found the Christmas tree and then she said to
- 1:55:19Speaker 3: drop it on the ground. Right, She said to slam
- 1:55:22Speaker 3: it on the ground, and I picked it up wrestling
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: style and I tossed it. At the time when I
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: shared that on air, I thought like, oh, that was
- 1:55:28Speaker 3: funny and kind of charming. What a small mistake. As
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: I'm thirty six, that's maybe the dumbest thing I've ever done,
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: and it's super embarrassed. Power slam a tree. So do
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: you have an embarrassing thing that keeps growing more flavored
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: like old cheese?
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: It's funny when you mentioned this, I didn't think about that.
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: And when you told that original story, I was when
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: I graduated from high school, we went over to the
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: thing we would do is go to Saint Augustine get
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: a condo party down for a week before we all
- 1:55:56Speaker 2: left to go do whatever we're gonna do, right, And
- 1:55:59Speaker 2: I remember we were and playing cards at this table,
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: and it was all the guys that I knew growing up.
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: And I know that that morning I had had a
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: seven eleven hot dog for Chris or for breakfast for Christmas.
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: Crazy for breakfast, I had a seven eleven hot dog.
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: That's that's not a good sentence with chili, cheese onions
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: the whole nine yards. Oh no, wash that down with
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: a big gulp. Didn't think anything about it. That was
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: around six point thirty in the morning, because I'd only
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: been up about two hours. Off we go throwing before sunril.
- 1:56:31Speaker 4: Cards, throw before sunrise ever play.
- 1:56:37Speaker 2: Playing cards at ten o'clock that morning.
- 1:56:39Speaker 6: Uh oh, I thought I had to fart h full house,
- 1:56:48Speaker 6: more like a straight into the bathroom.
- 1:56:51Speaker 2: I never trust a fart even worse guys. I stood
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: up to showcase the fart oh in shorts looking we
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: had a breach that made it out of my short
- 1:57:11Speaker 2: legs more embarrassy. And my guys just looked at each
- 1:57:19Speaker 2: other and then backed away from the table and just
- 1:57:24Speaker 2: just moved out sideways. They didn't even want normal. It
- 1:57:27Speaker 2: was like they were being held up and they just
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: left the room. And I did not see them for
- 1:57:32Speaker 2: two hours. And then when I saw them, we did
- 1:57:34Speaker 2: not talk about it. Did they make eye contact?
- 1:57:39Speaker 3: Is I look at him?
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: I said, if you tell anybody all your tires are cut,
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: all your engines are ruined, keep this to yourself. And
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: I've never told that story to anybody in my life.
- 1:57:51Speaker 3: You just did it.
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: One true story and I have I have witnesses.
- 1:57:56Speaker 4: I thought you're gonna say proof, Please don't tell me
- 1:57:59Speaker 4: the short it was?
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: When when when you have to tell people, don't cut
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: bicking yet, gotta clean the carpet.
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: My far, by far, the best part of that story
- 1:58:11Speaker 3: is because every guy has been like, Oh, this one's
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: gonna be so that you stand up. Wait, oh that's.
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: What you did. I didn't understand what you meant by that.
- 1:58:20Speaker 4: This is not something that girls are going to hang
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: around with each other.
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: And I stand up. Lard boys around the table, and
- 1:58:25Speaker 2: you want to showcase you're you're doing the all the
- 1:58:27Speaker 2: guy stuff, and I was like I stood up and
- 1:58:28Speaker 2: I was like, did a whole sumo thing, like right.
- 1:58:31Speaker 6: Up the left pant let straight up one cheat. They gasped.
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: It was like a strip naked. They gasped.
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: I mean, they.
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: Could not believe it. They like looked at each other
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: to verify if what happened just actually happened. That's they're wondering.
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: If you meant to esk yourself in your friends, that's
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: what happened. They looked at each other like, maybe this
- 1:58:55Speaker 3: is just.
- 1:58:56Speaker 2: What Jim does. This guy, this guy was hard.
- 1:58:59Speaker 3: Where did this happen?
- 1:59:00Speaker 2: And a condo in Sant Augustine, Florida? What did you do?
- 1:59:03Speaker 2: Clean the carpet? They went outside while I cleaned things up.
- 1:59:07Speaker 3: And then and then when you put on did you
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: waddle to the bathroom? Yeah? Dude, are you kidding? I
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: was full. I mean my needle was way past F,
- 1:59:19Speaker 3: way past F.
- 1:59:20Speaker 2: There's no would you wear a towel the rest?
- 1:59:22Speaker 3: How did you.
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: Get to the bathroom without making a bigger messive things?
- 1:59:25Speaker 3: We were living in that place. I just talked. I
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: just cinched up the pantsle and held it in there.
- 1:59:32Speaker 3: And I'm gonna tell you that walk was not fun.
- 1:59:34Speaker 3: You can feel it squishing around it there. It wasn't like,
- 1:59:36Speaker 3: you know, it wasn't like a you know, I mean
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: it was.
- 1:59:40Speaker 4: We figured as soon as you said you had a
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: chili cheese dog from seven to eleven at six thirty
- 1:59:44Speaker 4: in the morning that it was not going to be solid.
- 1:59:46Speaker 3: The first thing he says is you three out.
- 1:59:52Speaker 2: For these witnesses still alive. They're texting us happily at
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: the moment every one of them we got a call.
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: I haven't have to figure out which one. I'm trying
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: to figure out which one reacted the most. Adversely, it
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: should have been you. It was not good, dude.
- 2:00:08Speaker 3: That was a weird scenario because I was like, well,
- 2:00:11Speaker 3: this is not exactly what you want to be remembered for.
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: And nobody can. I tell you truthfully that nobody ever
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: said another word about it, not one word. Yeah, but
- 2:00:19Speaker 2: is that you take it. I don't mean to ruin
- 2:00:23Speaker 2: the segment.
- 2:00:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 2:00:27Speaker 4: You tell me think it was a PSA, don't eat
- 2:00:29Speaker 4: chili cheese dogs at six am?
- 2:00:31Speaker 3: You tell me which one's worse, all right? Because this
- 2:00:33Speaker 3: is my embarrassing memory that just keeps getting more and
- 2:00:37Speaker 3: more embarrassing. I went to a private school first grade
- 2:00:42Speaker 3: through fifth grade. Right. I talked about this with my
- 2:00:44Speaker 3: brother on good sauce this week. And this is as
- 2:00:47Speaker 3: I was telling it, I realized, like, this is keeps
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: getting worse. When I went from elementary to public school,
- 2:00:55Speaker 3: private school to public school sixth grade. And when I
- 2:00:59Speaker 3: was in sixth grade, I was flailing. I was getting
- 2:01:03Speaker 3: bad grades. So then they put me in like the
- 2:01:06Speaker 3: not smart kid math class.
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: All right, I'm a remedial math kid myself.
- 2:01:11Speaker 3: Right it was I think we called it intensive math
- 2:01:14Speaker 3: or gifted math. I just know it wasn't math honors,
- 2:01:18Speaker 3: all right, real quick. So I'm in this classroom and
- 2:01:24Speaker 3: as soon as I walk in, I'm like, I'm upset.
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: I'm a middle schooler who's upset that they put them
- 2:01:29Speaker 3: in the dumb kid math class. But when I walk in,
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: I realize, like, hold on, I'm actually the smartest kid here, right,
- 2:01:39Speaker 3: and I'm gonna say this as respectible as I cam.
- 2:01:41Speaker 3: But like in the beginning, I started to take offence
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: of like I shouldn't be in this math class because
- 2:01:47Speaker 3: there are kids like answering math questions with nouns. Yeah
- 2:01:51Speaker 3: they are, they're they're not there. There are there are
- 2:01:55Speaker 3: some serious handicaps in the room. And in the beginning
- 2:01:58Speaker 3: I was pissed, but you're ready for the embarre thing
- 2:02:01Speaker 3: by the like week three or week four, when I
- 2:02:03Speaker 3: came to grips with like I'm the smartest kid in
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: this class, I like rubbed it in. I like celebrated,
- 2:02:10Speaker 3: I flexed, and I would be telling kids all of
- 2:02:13Speaker 3: these answers and stuff. Sometimes they were wrong because I
- 2:02:15Speaker 3: was not that smart. But I, for the longest time
- 2:02:19Speaker 3: while in that class took so much pride and being
- 2:02:24Speaker 3: in that just being the number one top dog in
- 2:02:27Speaker 3: that class, while like a c was an a oh man.
- 2:02:30Speaker 3: And as I keep getting older, it's just so embarrassing. Cringe,
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: so cringe. Where I was like you idiot, and then
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: we're all idiots. And I was like a really bad
- 2:02:41Speaker 3: middle schooler during that.
- 2:02:43Speaker 2: That's just a middle schooler.
- 2:02:45Speaker 3: Yeah, now, Jack, I know we're up against the clock,
- 2:02:47Speaker 3: but I'm dying, dude. I want to know your embarrassing moment.
- 2:02:50Speaker 3: I got nothing that's going to the top his story. Yeah,
- 2:02:52Speaker 3: you didn't have a special needs math class that you
- 2:02:55Speaker 3: flexed on.
- 2:02:56Speaker 6: No, I also went in my pants, but I was
- 2:02:58Speaker 6: in first grade at the time.
- 2:03:00Speaker 3: Well, do you ever have to sench up a skirt?
- 2:03:02Speaker 2: Deb No?
- 2:03:05Speaker 4: All right, But I did learn that you guys actually
- 2:03:07Speaker 4: showcase them. Yeah, absolutely, I had no idea about that.
- 2:03:11Speaker 3: Those are your ross thoughts. Enjoy those memories that keep
- 2:03:14Speaker 3: growing more and more embarrassing.
- 2:03:16Speaker 2: Just like Jim, just.
- 2:03:18Speaker 3: It's you. You gotta own it, man, you gotta own it.
- 2:03:21Speaker 2: I'm out all right for a seven nine four one
- 2:03:24Speaker 2: text seven seven zero three one back in a second
- 2:03:26Speaker 2: with more of the Jim Colbert Show.
- 2:03:34Speaker 26: Uh, how did that segment just really really truck?
- 2:03:43Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 2:03:44Speaker 26: How did that segment just happen?
- 2:03:47Speaker 3: That was well something else so chili dog. We said
- 2:03:52Speaker 3: it clearly.
- 2:03:54Speaker 2: Don't worry if you miss it, and you'll hear it
- 2:03:55Speaker 2: again Thanksgiving Christmas. Save it till you're eating them.
- 2:04:02Speaker 3: Any other day.
- 2:04:02Speaker 6: We're off stuffing anyone.
- 2:04:10Speaker 3: Seven seven zero three one. Welcome back.
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: I'm Jim. There's death and Sawstaddy. Look I'm not the
- 2:04:17Speaker 2: only one that's done this. Can we can we act
- 2:04:19Speaker 2: like that's I'm not the That is why I said
- 2:04:22Speaker 2: you never trust even then. That came from the movie
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: bucket List. Yeah, the last time it happened, I blamed
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: my dog.
- 2:04:31Speaker 3: The smell. No, No, I just was you just did
- 2:04:34Speaker 3: it on the flour in your house for me, fair question.
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: No little poop for a big gun.
- 2:04:45Speaker 3: I was going to the bathroom. I was number one
- 2:04:48Speaker 3: ing and then my dog wanted eggs, and then my
- 2:04:50Speaker 3: toddler wanted something, so then I increased the p s
- 2:04:54Speaker 3: I long ago.
- 2:04:57Speaker 2: No, this is within the last year. It's not that difficult. No,
- 2:05:03Speaker 2: it's not. I'm telling you, man, I mean that that
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: accident isn't that difficult. I mean, listen, man, if your
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: diet is sketch, I mean, I'm guessing every one of
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: those gas movements could be not a gas movement.
- 2:05:16Speaker 4: And especially as you get older as well. Yeah, man,
- 2:05:19Speaker 4: I mean you just just want to make sure you're
- 2:05:21Speaker 4: near about I was seventeen years old when that happened, though, kid,
- 2:05:23Speaker 4: I mean, oh yeah, well, Jack, I probably had twenty
- 2:05:26Speaker 4: beers the night before. I was gonna say, there had
- 2:05:28Speaker 4: to be some other factor that upset your stomach.
- 2:05:30Speaker 2: It couldn't have just been the chili dogs. We're like,
- 2:05:32Speaker 2: we're like feral high school kids. We're eating like coons,
- 2:05:35Speaker 2: and we're drinking like the worst Shaffer. We're drinking like
- 2:05:39Speaker 2: twenty schafers a day, and you're gonna poop yourself and
- 2:05:43Speaker 2: eating anything we can steal from anybody else's condo. And
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: then chili dog, You're saying, body, I'm.
- 2:05:49Speaker 3: Sorry, No, no, I'm just like, I really want to
- 2:05:51Speaker 3: know Jack's rock bottom moment. You shared. You shared some
- 2:05:54Speaker 3: of these moments. But I don't want to start taking
- 2:05:57Speaker 3: guesses in the dark because that might offen you.
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we can take a stab at this. We don't
- 2:06:01Speaker 2: mean you know, we have plenty of time. Go ahead,
- 2:06:03Speaker 2: Jack tell Shores, I have nothing, all right, No, no,
- 2:06:05Speaker 2: you have something.
- 2:06:06Speaker 3: I have one for Jack, which I've always thought was
- 2:06:08Speaker 3: very funny, and we've always laughed at it. So I
- 2:06:11Speaker 3: don't think anything should change after I bring it up. Right,
- 2:06:14Speaker 3: But Jack, Jack, dude, I just told a story about
- 2:06:17Speaker 3: booming myself. You should be fine, Jack. Jack bought his
- 2:06:20Speaker 3: wife vacuum for Christmas.
- 2:06:22Speaker 6: My god, when that's a rumor, I don't even believe
- 2:06:26Speaker 6: it's true.
- 2:06:27Speaker 2: My wife says that's true.
- 2:06:28Speaker 3: I don't believe it's true. The embarrassing part about it
- 2:06:34Speaker 3: is that like you just didn't see the problem.
- 2:06:38Speaker 2: That seemed perfectly logical.
- 2:06:41Speaker 3: We that was a big gift. Back then, I was
- 2:06:43Speaker 3: we were.
- 2:06:44Speaker 2: Poor, Like I was still defending they were poor. Well
- 2:06:48Speaker 2: once when I was in church camp.
- 2:06:51Speaker 3: Oh, this is starting off graage.
- 2:06:52Speaker 4: We have some music, no, you know what, music for
- 2:06:56Speaker 4: the girls that I was sharing cabin with because I
- 2:06:58Speaker 4: had a real pretty slip underneath my skirt. It was
- 2:07:00Speaker 4: like embroidered and I and they're like, oh no, that's
- 2:07:03Speaker 4: that's a pretty enough skirt. You can't see anything through that.
- 2:07:06Speaker 4: Just wear that to church, oh no, which those Christian
- 2:07:11Speaker 4: little bitches allowed me to do until I realized, oh wow,
- 2:07:14Speaker 4: you can't see through it.
- 2:07:15Speaker 3: Right through it, yep, right through it. Back to the barracks.
- 2:07:18Speaker 2: I go wow, halfway across. Yeah, I would.
- 2:07:24Speaker 3: I would also say that one of my brother's most
- 2:07:28Speaker 3: I mean can I.
- 2:07:28Speaker 2: I don't know that. I think that's a bad move.
- 2:07:36Speaker 2: Maybe you should hold that one. Let your brother say
- 2:07:37Speaker 2: if he feels like it.
- 2:07:38Speaker 3: He had a skid mark in middle school and everyone calls.
- 2:07:43Speaker 2: You just can't, you just can't.
- 2:07:47Speaker 3: Are you such to your brother? You're the worst? Yeah,
- 2:07:49Speaker 3: because we're brothers. Man. You know, I'll say this about
- 2:07:53Speaker 3: my brother and how much and I really should tell
- 2:07:56Speaker 3: him this before I get all sentimental in front of
- 2:07:58Speaker 3: people who may not know my brother and I. But
- 2:08:01Speaker 3: my brother has been such a good brother. That it's
- 2:08:05Speaker 3: probably the main reason and or the biggest reason why
- 2:08:10Speaker 3: I am open to the idea of a second child.
- 2:08:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, my experience of having a brother and a
- 2:08:17Speaker 3: sibling and my wife's experience of having siblings is kind
- 2:08:21Speaker 3: of the driving force of having a second kid, because
- 2:08:25Speaker 3: it's certainly not having a kid experience that makes me
- 2:08:28Speaker 3: want to have a second one.
- 2:08:29Speaker 2: Are we pregnant again?
- 2:08:30Speaker 3: We are not. We are not.
- 2:08:32Speaker 2: Are we trying?
- 2:08:33Speaker 3: I it's listen. The fact that I'm even talking about
- 2:08:35Speaker 3: it is a huge step forwards towards it.
- 2:08:38Speaker 2: Yeah, she's just outside the door, by the way, she's dying.
- 2:08:41Speaker 2: She's ready to go. We had a green room and
- 2:08:44Speaker 2: some lights and everything's fine.
- 2:08:45Speaker 3: But the only thing that I think having my wife
- 2:08:48Speaker 3: go through that having just the family dynamic shift again
- 2:08:51Speaker 3: and all of that. Uh, it's just solely, not solely,
- 2:08:55Speaker 3: but mainly because of how great being a little brother
- 2:08:58Speaker 3: has been for me.
- 2:09:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well I get that.
- 2:09:02Speaker 3: I mean that's fine.
- 2:09:03Speaker 2: I mean only children. Can you know my wife is
- 2:09:05Speaker 2: an only child. She's a weirdough. With that said, they
- 2:09:07Speaker 2: called Gidmark all the time. My buddy Daniel Dennis is
- 2:09:11Speaker 2: an only child. He's a weird. Oh, he knows it.
- 2:09:14Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 2:09:15Speaker 2: The only children nerve that's an I mean, they're a
- 2:09:16Speaker 2: unique group of people. That's a that's a unique thing
- 2:09:19Speaker 2: to have. Is to grow up and not have a
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: sibling to play with or share your issues with or
- 2:09:23Speaker 2: work out problems with. You have to kind of use
- 2:09:26Speaker 2: other things to form your personality and stuff like that.
- 2:09:29Speaker 3: That's a unique thing.
- 2:09:30Speaker 2: I want to know the stereotypes of only children. I
- 2:09:34Speaker 2: know my wife actually had it worse than just being
- 2:09:37Speaker 2: an only child. She was not only an only child,
- 2:09:39Speaker 2: but her uh, you know, they moved a lot. And
- 2:09:43Speaker 2: when I say a lot, I don't mean like like
- 2:09:45Speaker 2: you know you you guys rag on us removing a lot.
- 2:09:47Speaker 2: But my wife, I think went to nine different schools
- 2:09:50Speaker 2: before high school.
- 2:09:51Speaker 3: That's tough a sibling to kind of share the experience with.
- 2:09:57Speaker 2: You are just alone. There was different people each single grade.
- 2:10:01Speaker 2: It was a different group of people. So yeah, that
- 2:10:03Speaker 2: that definitely, Yeah that that has an effect on you
- 2:10:05Speaker 2: for sure.
- 2:10:06Speaker 6: So uh, that's interest evil. I is an only child
- 2:10:11Speaker 6: and adopted and he's not weird. No, no, he's perfectly
- 2:10:16Speaker 6: the vision of it. Actually, it's the Florida Gold miner.
- 2:10:19Speaker 6: That is, he's the cartoon badger. It's about the warne
- 2:10:26Speaker 6: is about them. Kaya, what's it say about the only
- 2:10:28Speaker 6: child more mature? Old soul vibes.
- 2:10:30Speaker 2: That she is an old soul. I mean, I'm nine
- 2:10:32Speaker 2: years older than her, and I still feel like she's
- 2:10:34Speaker 2: older than me.
- 2:10:35Speaker 3: Independent and sometimes a little too independent. I would agree
- 2:10:40Speaker 3: with that as well.
- 2:10:40Speaker 2: Fiercely independent by the way, strong opinions, strong opinions, and
- 2:10:47Speaker 2: convicted to those opinions.
- 2:10:48Speaker 3: I feel like this is the biggest stereotype with only
- 2:10:51Speaker 3: children with my experience. Now, not all only children because
- 2:10:55Speaker 3: only a sith speaks in absolutes, but perfectionist tendencies. I
- 2:11:00Speaker 3: think only children have a higher chance of Yeah, that
- 2:11:05Speaker 3: the ones.
- 2:11:07Speaker 4: I'm closest to do. Daniel is a profession Say didn't
- 2:11:10Speaker 4: you say his car like he could? It looks like
- 2:11:12Speaker 4: every day he drove it off the showroom line. And
- 2:11:14Speaker 4: that's just that's just one part of his life. He's
- 2:11:16Speaker 4: like that with every single part of his life. And
- 2:11:17Speaker 4: my wife is kind of the same way. My wife
- 2:11:19Speaker 4: is a profector at work. She is a dogged professional
- 2:11:22Speaker 4: to get things exactly right before they before they hit
- 2:11:25Speaker 4: the the table.
- 2:11:27Speaker 3: Quiet homes here that they they like a quiet house
- 2:11:32Speaker 3: energy because they're so used to having that.
- 2:11:35Speaker 2: My wife does not go with that one. My wife
- 2:11:36Speaker 2: wants every kid we have living with us.
- 2:11:39Speaker 3: She does.
- 2:11:41Speaker 2: We bought this property. I'm telling you. Her dream is
- 2:11:43Speaker 2: to have tiny homes on our property and have our
- 2:11:45Speaker 2: entire family live on a compound. That's her dream dream,
- 2:11:49Speaker 2: and I'm not joking. That's exactly what she wants. If
- 2:11:51Speaker 2: we could provide that tomorrow, every one of our kids
- 2:11:53Speaker 2: would live on our property behind a fence, that's what
- 2:11:55Speaker 2: she would want.
- 2:11:57Speaker 3: I like how every time I hear the word compound, though,
- 2:12:00Speaker 3: my head goes to a dark place.
- 2:12:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean everybody does, because you've never heard compound
- 2:12:04Speaker 2: used in a positive way. Like you look at the
- 2:12:06Speaker 2: love on this compound and then it's on fire and
- 2:12:08Speaker 2: everybody's dead, right, I mean.
- 2:12:10Speaker 3: But everybody got cool, right?
- 2:12:13Speaker 20: Yeah?
- 2:12:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. When have you heard the word
- 2:12:15Speaker 2: compound use in a positive manner?
- 2:12:18Speaker 3: You just did? Yeah, but I mean it's not existent.
- 2:12:21Speaker 3: I mean, we don't have that. I mean, my brain
- 2:12:23Speaker 3: immediately went to Waco as soon as you said it.
- 2:12:26Speaker 3: I was like, so, Jim wants a Waco without the Waco.
- 2:12:28Speaker 2: And it's so funny because I've only got one that
- 2:12:32Speaker 2: I'm sure will never do it because she should have
- 2:12:35Speaker 2: been an only only, only, only child. She fits all
- 2:12:38Speaker 2: of this. She is the fluttering butterfly of our family.
- 2:12:41Speaker 2: But I'm telling you the other two there's a chance.
- 2:12:43Speaker 2: I mean, as they get a little bit older and
- 2:12:45Speaker 2: they're like, well, I'd really like to live here and
- 2:12:47Speaker 2: not have it cost a whole bunch of money and
- 2:12:48Speaker 2: and have you know. I mean, look, you can good
- 2:12:51Speaker 2: deal if you can get it.
- 2:12:52Speaker 3: Yeah. And Jack, I feel like you're kind of an
- 2:12:55Speaker 3: only child. You had like twelve sisters.
- 2:13:00Speaker 2: I think jack situation is actually way more unique than
- 2:13:04Speaker 2: an only child.
- 2:13:05Speaker 3: I really do.
- 2:13:07Speaker 2: Your situation, Jack is painfully unique. And the reason why
- 2:13:10Speaker 2: he is because your father passed early. You've only been
- 2:13:14Speaker 2: around women your entire life, and yours your entire life
- 2:13:18Speaker 2: in your households have been only women, No brothers, no fathers.
- 2:13:23Speaker 2: I mean, do you have good relationship with your brother
- 2:13:26Speaker 2: in law? Yes, Jesus did right? Jeez, check your pants?
- 2:13:33Speaker 3: Check your pantsah check? I felt the radio broke. It
- 2:13:39Speaker 3: was like one of those little tests, the weather alert.
- 2:13:44Speaker 2: I did.
- 2:13:44Speaker 6: I did have a good relationship with my brothers in
- 2:13:46Speaker 6: law and as well as my stepdad.
- 2:13:50Speaker 2: Who oh yeah, that's right.
- 2:13:51Speaker 6: He came along about five years after my dad died. However,
- 2:13:56Speaker 6: I overheard my mom talking on the phone once saying
- 2:14:01Speaker 6: that she wished we had a closer relationship. It was
- 2:14:05Speaker 6: more like, hey, how you doing between you and your
- 2:14:07Speaker 6: stepdad me and my stepdad.
- 2:14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but I nothing but love for the He
- 2:14:11Speaker 2: was great, but it wasn't kind of a father son thing, right,
- 2:14:16Speaker 2: Like he came along. I was thirteen, and you like,
- 2:14:19Speaker 2: you looked at it the way I looked at my
- 2:14:20Speaker 2: stepdad When my mom got remarried. I'm like, I'm like,
- 2:14:23Speaker 2: this is how I looked at it. I don't know
- 2:14:24Speaker 2: how many people look at this. You're for her, not
- 2:14:26Speaker 2: for me. That's like, you're you're here to take care
- 2:14:29Speaker 2: of her. I've got me. I'm good.
- 2:14:30Speaker 3: But I didn't resent it.
- 2:14:31Speaker 2: I mean he helped me with my algebra homework once
- 2:14:34Speaker 2: one time.
- 2:14:36Speaker 4: Now, see that's a complete opposite in our experience. Yeah,
- 2:14:38Speaker 4: oh yeah, he was dad. My stepfather was never really Yeah, yeah.
- 2:14:44Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 2:14:44Speaker 2: He was my dad.
- 2:14:45Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 2:14:46Speaker 2: And you know, but man, Devin and I were talking
- 2:14:48Speaker 2: about videos online that get you. You know that get you,
- 2:14:51Speaker 2: and the ones that get me are the babies that
- 2:14:54Speaker 2: get the glasses and the.
- 2:14:57Speaker 3: First time.
- 2:14:59Speaker 2: But the other ones are daughters or sons that asked
- 2:15:03Speaker 2: their step parents to adopt them. Yeah, and the step
- 2:15:07Speaker 2: parent isn't expecting it.
- 2:15:08Speaker 3: Dude.
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: That is That's one of those you gotta look away
- 2:15:12Speaker 2: for a minute scenario because man, it's a it is
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: a punch to the fields. Just lean in.
- 2:15:18Speaker 3: No, God, I can't do that crazy.
- 2:15:20Speaker 4: You can showcase your farts, you can let your tears flow.
- 2:15:23Speaker 2: I had another embarrassing moment. I want tell you. Oh good, okay,
- 2:15:26Speaker 2: I just one day I went to school. It was
- 2:15:30Speaker 2: summer school because I wasn't an awful student, as you
- 2:15:34Speaker 2: might imagine. And I remember going to get dressed that
- 2:15:38Speaker 2: morning and my mother hadn't wash clothes, so the only
- 2:15:42Speaker 2: thing I had to wear was this pair of yellow
- 2:15:44Speaker 2: shorts that I had. And they were like yellow old
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: school gym shorts. Okay, all right, and I was gonna
- 2:15:49Speaker 2: wear this to school. The problem was is that those
- 2:15:52Speaker 2: were when I was young, So these were I mean,
- 2:15:56Speaker 2: they were tight, and they were tight, dude. And I
- 2:16:02Speaker 2: remember going to school and I didn't think there would
- 2:16:05Speaker 2: be a problem. I'm like, look, it's only like I
- 2:16:07Speaker 2: think I had two classes, so it was like a
- 2:16:09Speaker 2: couple hours. I wasn't even be there that long. It
- 2:16:13Speaker 2: was in the ninth grade. So I just got into
- 2:16:15Speaker 2: high school. And I remember being in this class and
- 2:16:18Speaker 2: I went to this class and I had a crush
- 2:16:21Speaker 2: on a girl.
- 2:16:21Speaker 3: In the class.
- 2:16:22Speaker 4: Oh this is bad, yes, yes, yes, oh wait, this
- 2:16:28Speaker 4: is another lesson for me. I was just oh no.
- 2:16:32Speaker 2: She came to school that day and a pair of
- 2:16:36Speaker 2: skin tight shorts herself and I had a very male
- 2:16:43Speaker 2: reaction to that. No, no, little yellow light perceived with caution.
- 2:16:51Speaker 2: And I got a zero that day because Jim could
- 2:16:54Speaker 2: not go to the board come up here and work
- 2:16:58Speaker 2: out this problem. Jim to me, I'm sorry, guys, I'm
- 2:17:01Speaker 2: not gonna be able to get up in showcase.
- 2:17:03Speaker 3: I had.
- 2:17:06Speaker 2: One of those in these skin tight shorts and it
- 2:17:09Speaker 2: looked like I was smuggling a small flashlight and it was.
- 2:17:14Speaker 2: It was so effing embarrassing. And I can like everybody's like, okay,
- 2:17:18Speaker 2: it's break times. Used to get a fifteen minute break
- 2:17:20Speaker 2: in like summer school or whatever per class. I'm like, oh,
- 2:17:22Speaker 2: They're like, Okay, it's a time for your break. I'm like,
- 2:17:24Speaker 2: I will not be breaking today.
- 2:17:26Speaker 3: I will be breaking this desk. I'm not.
- 2:17:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna stay right here, dude, because it was like
- 2:17:31Speaker 2: really embarrassing. So it's like seriously embarrassing.
- 2:17:35Speaker 3: Skin tight, the skin tight yellow. They're yellow there. That's
- 2:17:39Speaker 3: not a hiding color.
- 2:17:42Speaker 2: That's a legit banana?
- 2:17:45Speaker 3: Are a a banana and your bucket? Are you happy
- 2:17:47Speaker 3: to see me? Scenario? You went from Jim Colbert to
- 2:17:50Speaker 3: Lieutenant Jim Dangle. Dude, you read on nine one man?
- 2:17:54Speaker 3: It was crazy.
- 2:17:54Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 2:17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, Now that's a really embarrassing moment in my life.
- 2:18:00Speaker 2: This is some really embarrassing moments of thank you for
- 2:18:04Speaker 2: getting me into that roller decks, dude.
- 2:18:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna do this all night long. They are i mean,

- 2:19:27Speaker 25: it out of the car or the truck when I
- 2:19:31Speaker 25: dropped it off, And it was after closing lait at
- 2:19:34Speaker 25: night I left. It could best be described as a
- 2:19:36Speaker 25: bank seat on the side of the wall down.
- 2:19:39Speaker 11: And yes, the throat of Miss Deborah in the sea
- 2:19:49Speaker 11: through slipped while in church sounds like the making of
