- 0:06Speaker 1: crack a leg?
- 0:07Speaker 2: And this is the big bulls dog snoopy.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Deagle double jigsel dang boom.
- 0:11Speaker 2: What you don't do, John, we're not talking about Rin
- 0:14Speaker 2: ten team. We're not talking about last.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Year if the one and Only Dogs.
- 0:19Speaker 2: People double jib in your face to me and in
- 0:21Speaker 2: the place to be and.
- 0:22Speaker 1: You're listening to John Jay and Rich, wake your.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Ass John Jay and Rich. You know we always check
- 0:27Speaker 3: it with Peyton and her newlywed stuff. But Rich, you're
- 0:30Speaker 3: still a newlywed kind of Yeah.
- 0:32Speaker 1: We're still kind of learning things about each other. Now.
- 0:34Speaker 1: My wife is Stacey has really gotten into cooking at
- 0:37Speaker 1: home where she doesn't want us to go out and
- 0:39Speaker 1: spend money on food. So she makes a lot of
- 0:42Speaker 1: which is great, but she's not the best at cleaning
- 0:45Speaker 1: up things, and she won't really tell me about it.
- 0:47Speaker 1: She just kind of expects me to do the thing
- 0:49Speaker 1: to clean up if she's cooking, and she'll kind of
- 0:52Speaker 1: She doesn't really make things in like one or two pots.
- 0:54Speaker 1: She uses like seventy five pots and they're just all
- 0:57Speaker 1: over the kitchen. So this weekend I did two extra
- 1:01Speaker 1: radio shows in addition to our show here, I hosted
- 1:04Speaker 1: a late night show, so I was kind of a
- 1:07Speaker 1: little bit out of it in Stacey to be nice.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Hired cleaning people to come help for the weekend, help
- 1:13Speaker 1: us catch up with laundry and all that. So I
- 1:17Speaker 1: finished my show on Friday at two am, but I
- 1:20Speaker 1: know the cleaning people are coming at nine am, So
- 1:23Speaker 1: I wake up at eight thirty and I start kind
- 1:25Speaker 1: of patrolling, and I see there's just a ton of
- 1:27Speaker 1: dirty dishes and the sink. So I cleaned them and
- 1:29Speaker 1: I put them in a dishwasher, thus negating the whole
- 1:32Speaker 1: reason for having a cleaning crew in the first place.
- 1:34Speaker 1: They're paying to do that. But I realized that this
- 1:37Speaker 1: is this is how you have become your parents, because
- 1:40Speaker 1: we used to once a month whenever I lived in
- 1:43Speaker 1: Florista and Missouri, my parents would get a cleaning crew
- 1:45Speaker 1: and my mother would clean up before the cleaning people
- 1:48Speaker 1: got there because she didn't want anybody to think that
- 1:49Speaker 1: she was a mess. I realized I have that too,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and then I realized I also do the same thing
- 1:54Speaker 1: that my dad did. Is after the cleaning crew leaves,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I clean up after them because they didn't do the
- 1:59Speaker 1: same job that I would do. I've got both of
- 2:03Speaker 1: my parents OCD cleaning traits, and I can't shake it. No,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I can't not do it because there's no way that
- 2:10Speaker 1: you can say, the cleaning people are here, are they're coming,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Just leave the kitchen a mess because oh yeah, no,
- 2:16Speaker 1: you got to pick up I mean you see cheese
- 2:18Speaker 1: and pots and stuff like that, and it literally makes
- 2:20Speaker 1: me itch yeah. And then when they leave, it's like,
- 2:22Speaker 1: well there's still streaks here, like what.
- 2:25Speaker 4: No, Actually the same because he gets really frustrated when
- 2:30Speaker 4: we have to because the thing is like when you
- 2:32Speaker 4: have the cleaning ladies come, you have to leave the house,
- 2:34Speaker 4: so you kind of have to like make do with
- 2:36Speaker 4: nothing for a couple of hours if you don't have
- 2:37Speaker 4: anything to do. And he's that same exact way, he's like,
- 2:40Speaker 4: I could have done this.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I would have rather have done this and stayed at home.
- 2:43Speaker 2: That's my wife. My wife. By the way, you clean
- 2:47Speaker 2: the room before the.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Clear oh yeah, yeah, before the cleaning.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I always clean the hotel room before the cleaning, at least,
- 2:54Speaker 1: like put your stuff in one specific spot.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Like I kind of feel like I'm at a hotel
- 2:58Speaker 3: and I almost extra go like holes on the floor.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Yeah. She's like, well, the cleaning people are here for that.
- 3:04Speaker 1: That's why the seven times I'm like, no, you want
- 3:07Speaker 1: them to come and be like, these people respect this
- 3:10Speaker 1: nice room that we're in in there making my job easier.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Wait, oh, let me bounce something off you guys. This
- 3:17Speaker 2: just happened. This just happened.
- 3:18Speaker 3: So if you don't know and you're listening to the show,
- 3:20Speaker 3: I'm in San Diego.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm doing the show from San Diego.
- 3:22Speaker 3: The reason I'm doing the show for San Diego because
- 3:24Speaker 3: my wife's planned a vacation but nobody can go except
- 3:27Speaker 3: for me. My kids all have jobs and stuff. And
- 3:29Speaker 3: we rented the same house that we've been renting for
- 3:31Speaker 3: ten years. Okay, so day one in the house. We
- 3:35Speaker 3: check into the house at four in the afternoon. Day
- 3:39Speaker 3: one in the house, she says to me, it's like
- 3:42Speaker 3: six o'clock. She goes, Oh, the garbage has to go
- 3:45Speaker 3: out and the recycle has.
- 3:46Speaker 2: To go out. I'm like, she looked at me, and
- 3:48Speaker 2: I go, what. She goes, take out it.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I go, We've bet her fifteen minutes what garbage and
- 3:53Speaker 3: she goes, it's an Airbnb. There's garbage I go, there
- 3:55Speaker 3: were people here before. She was, why did they take
- 3:57Speaker 3: out the garbage? I go, why didn't the people? Like
- 4:00Speaker 3: when you have an Airbnb, you check out and then
- 4:03Speaker 3: a cleaning crew comes in and cleans and then you
- 4:05Speaker 3: start fresh. And Blake's like, we've been staying here ten years.
- 4:10Speaker 3: She was, here's the little folder that says, if it's
- 4:12Speaker 3: on these days, just when the trash goes out, you
- 4:14Speaker 3: got to take out the trash.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I'm like, I.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Understand that, but there were two sets of people here
- 4:19Speaker 3: before we got in today. There was the people that
- 4:21Speaker 3: were staying here paying, and then there.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Was the cleaning crew. Why didn't they wheel out the trash?
- 4:26Speaker 3: And so she gets all upset at me, and I'm like, sorry,
- 4:29Speaker 3: then she I'll go, I'll take it out. So I
- 4:32Speaker 3: go out to take out the trash. Right this is,
- 4:33Speaker 3: I've been in this house ten years. I got to
- 4:35Speaker 3: take out the trash. I have no idea where the
- 4:37Speaker 3: trash cans are. I'm walking around the house, I'm walking
- 4:40Speaker 3: around the garage. I'm walking and I come back in
- 4:42Speaker 3: and she's like, well, she looks at me, and I go,
- 4:44Speaker 3: I don't where the trash cans are? And she goes,
- 4:46Speaker 3: you don't know where the trash cans are. She goes, oh,
- 4:48Speaker 3: what a privileged life you. We've been staying here ten
- 4:51Speaker 3: years and you've never thrown out the trash. I go,
- 4:54Speaker 3: we rent this place. I didn't know we like, I
- 4:56Speaker 3: just never thought about it. So then she goes outside
- 4:59Speaker 3: of me, and they're likehidden in these compartments.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Outside. Open up the compartments.
- 5:04Speaker 3: There's there's recycle, there's normal trash, and there's something new.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't even know what the other thing is. It's
- 5:08Speaker 2: a different color trash can. So I wheel them out
- 5:11Speaker 2: into the street and guess what. She looks at me.
- 5:13Speaker 2: She's like, really, how's the trash can pick?
- 5:16Speaker 3: I had to I put them the wrong way, so
- 5:17Speaker 3: I to spin them around, you know what I'm talking about.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And I'm like to the curtain.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I'm like, why go I just see the big truck coming,
- 5:23Speaker 3: look at and dump it. I didn't know they had
- 5:25Speaker 3: to go a certain way.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It just clamps it.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Then it just does the thing where it shakes it
- 5:29Speaker 3: three times. I didn't know it had to face a
- 5:31Speaker 3: certain way. And boy did she look down upon.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Me, because in your household, that's a blue job.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I take the trash out of my house. But I
- 5:41Speaker 3: don't take the trash out at the Airbnb until we
- 5:44Speaker 3: check out. Actually, I've never taken the trash out of
- 5:45Speaker 3: the air Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You're probably looking at it more like a hotel. She
- 5:49Speaker 1: knows the rules of the Airbnb, and you're probably like,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'm surprised you didn't at one point say in this
- 5:55Speaker 1: trash thing, fine, I don't want to stay here anymore,
- 5:57Speaker 1: Let's just go home. I'm surprised.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I think, Bro, you have no idea this morning, walk
- 6:03Speaker 3: around this house. I'm like, why am I here?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Let's just go home?
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:09Speaker 3: Anyway, anyway, So I have very relatable Barra, very relatable.
- 6:14Speaker 1: My parents God rested one of them. Soul still stick
- 6:17Speaker 1: with me. The cleaning people, Yeah,
