- 0:29Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:31Question 8 today are you all like anticipating?
- 0:35What is this? Next question.
- 0:37Question is, if you had to sum up 2022 with one word, what
- 0:43would that word be? Now, I ask clients to do this
- 0:47often because here's the crazy thing.
- 0:49We often put a theme for a word for the year.
- 0:52People will come and say, well, here's my theme word for the
- 0:54year, which is great. I love that, I do it myself.
- 0:57Most of the time I have more than one word, can you imagine
- 1:00that? That and I have to kind of think
- 1:03through those to make sure that I'm succinct with them.
- 1:06But here's the thing, we often forget about them, then we never
- 1:09do anything about it. And then we have this word
- 1:11that's supposed to be our whole theme for the year.
- 1:13But how often do you refer back to it?
- 1:15How often do you know what that word is?
- 1:18How often do you actually go in? And, you know, make sure your
- 1:23word is infused into your daily life into your weekly life, into
- 1:27your monthly life? And so forth and so on.
- 1:30So it doesn't necessarily help us if we have a word and then we
- 1:35don't know anything about that word as to how we're
- 1:37incorporating it into the stuff. So what super important is to
- 1:42recognize that if you're going to have a word, if you're going
- 1:46to have the word, the most important thing about the word
- 1:49that you can do is to say, okay, I'm going to use this Infuse,
- 1:53this keep this in my world consistently as much as I
- 1:57possibly can. So think about it in terms of
- 2:03the the factor of this word that you've, you know, looked at go
- 2:09back and look at what your word was.
- 2:10If you had a word, if you didn't have a word then just say, okay,
- 2:13what if I had to sum it up? What would it be?
- 2:16But if you did have a word, be honest with yourself, did you
- 2:19incorporate it? No.
- 2:21Okay great. Then you're going to do better
- 2:23for the word, we pick for this year.
- 2:25So if you're going to pick a new word for this year, think about
- 2:28You're picking it. How can I Infuse this daily
- 2:33weekly monthly for the whole year?
- 2:37Where are its points of Entry? So this this question is kind of
- 2:41working towards the past of the 2022 and the future of 2023
- 2:46because I know everybody has their planning underway right
- 2:50now. And I've been so focused with
- 2:51everybody on debriefing, we haven't really talked about the
- 2:55planning portion of it yet, so that's that.
- 2:58It is coming, I promise. It's just that the debrief is
- 3:02such an important part and it's so overlooked.
- 3:04So I like to make sure I spend my time before I actually and I
- 3:09do this for myself before I actually do my planning, I
- 3:12really have to do a really great debrief because we all know we
- 3:16can learn from what just happened.
- 3:18So Focus your attention on the debrief of the 2022 word or what
- 3:24word you would use, had you not picked it to describe your year.
- 3:28So if Year was let's say frustrating.
- 3:31Let's just say your whole year was frustrating and truly ask
- 3:34yourself. I mean if you pick a word like
- 3:36frustrating to sum up your year then say okay, what were those
- 3:40frustrating Parts about? It dig a little bit.
- 3:42There's always clues in the initial words that you come up
- 3:46with. So don't ignore them and don't
- 3:48try to rewrite it for those of us who love to just be
- 3:51optimistic. No matter what, remember you
- 3:53learn from the negative, as well as the positive, so you have to
- 3:57dig into it. And And say, okay, if
- 4:00frustrating popped into my head first then, is that just because
- 4:03of the last couple months, or the last month, or is it really
- 4:06the whole year? And if you have to, you can look
- 4:10back over the course of the year and say okay, what happened?
- 4:14That made it? So frustrating in January, or
- 4:16February March, just run through it.
- 4:19Do the best you can. Now, if you keep logs and
- 4:22journals of what's going on, then it's pretty easy to do
- 4:26these exercises if you don't. Then, I highly suggest that you
- 4:30look into that, because that will be a big help for when you
- 4:33debrief the next one coming up. So, again, it's what was your
- 4:38word that you would use to describe 2022, and in your
- 4:42description of 2022, is that the word that you had Chosen?
- 4:46And if not, okay, what was the reason why?
- 4:49Or, maybe you just didn't choose a word like I said.
- 4:52And then also start thinking about what words, you want to
- 4:54use for 2023. All right, my friends.
- 4:57I hope you have a very Very blessed day and I will see you
- 5:00tomorrow. Bye.
- 4:58Very blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 5:01Bye.
