- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Tract Echoes.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Mike McCree, your host.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for joining me once again today.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: This week on the program, we are talking about hindrances to using tracts.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_01]: We spent the first two days really.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I met to do one hindrins per day, but apparently I get a little verbose.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking to a friend of mine and I pointed out that
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know very many people that can overqualify things like I can.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: I can monologue with the best of them, which I guess, as the host of a radio broadcast is not the worst skill in the world.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: So we are now on our second hindrance, and I appreciate you sticking around.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: This one here, I believe this hindrance may apply to every listener.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: Under the sound of my voice, I'll explain more in just a moment.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: But just to make sure I don't neglect to talk about our gospel tracks because maybe you're listening in something I say sparks a a challenge inside you that says, you know, I need to use gospel tracks.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you respond to the call.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you'd say, all right, Bible tracks, you guys put them out for free.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: You guys prepped printed them for years, for over eight years,
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Completely and utterly free, and either I've never ordered them, or it's been a long time, and I need to do so.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I welcome you to do so.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: They are free.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we don't even charge the shipping.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a donation is welcome.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: We won't refuse that, but it's not required.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: So I ask you order gospel tracks.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: And here's what I'd like to tell you about.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: The titles this have you recieved gods
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: gift.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Have you received God's gift?
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: In science says this, a gift must be received to be enjoyed.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I've received, I've been blessed to receive, have received gifts in my lifetime.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: But isn't it just the worst when someone says, hey, I'm sending you a gift and it's in the mail.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then you're on the edge of your seat, you're anxious, you're shooting, I'm excited about this, especially if you're a little kid.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: When your parents say, hey, it's Christmas day, I know, but the gift didn't arrive in time and it'll be here on December 27th.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: What a bummer that is.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: A gift needs to be in our hands, it needs to be felt, it needs to be received to be enjoyed.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the gift of God is no different.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what this gospel track explains.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: Have you received God's gift?
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: A gift cannot be forced on someone.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: No a gift must be received.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where this Gospel track talks about.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: You can order it online.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's got a striking red and white and black cover on it grabs your attention.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: You can go to bibletranksink.org.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Bibletracks and.org to order your copies today.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: If you'd like some, you can order them in packs of 25 and in quantities of multiples of 25 I should say and you can get those for free on our website today.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now, yesterday on the program.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: we talked about self-confidence, being a major hindrance to our usage of tracks, because we do put our confidence in self-so often.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I am not very confident in myself because I know me, but we should be, we must be confident, especially when it comes to spiritual matters, we must be confident in God.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: He is the one that has sent us as Christians into
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: the world, but that brings me to our second hindrance that we'll speak about today.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm speaking about purity, purity, what are you talking about?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: My, is this, no, no, I want to draw your attention to the book of Psalms, Psalm 24, verse number three.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Or who shall stand in his holy place?
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's not like a place I'd want to be, close to God.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'd want to be there while the answer is this, he that have clean hands and a pure heart.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: who had not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: You ever come home, if you have a pet, maybe a dog, and they tore something up, maybe they were sharpening their teeth on the dining room table, maybe there is a pillow with feathers just strewn about.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: They're not as keen to see you when they know that when they know they've done something wrong or maybe just maybe your mom, your dad said, hey, watch the dishes before you get home or mow the lawn and they call you, hey, I'm going to be home in three minutes.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: I need you to come out and help me with the healthy with the groceries, help me carry some stuff and you're thinking, oh, it's amazing how that sharpened your mind isn't it?
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: you're thinking, oh no, I'm going to die.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: I have not done you're thinking, can I, if I run as fast as I could, can I moth along without cutting my foot off, can I wash the dishes fast enough and you're thinking, it's too late, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't really want to see them when they walk in the kitchen and see the piles and piles of dishes, right?
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, why is that?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's because we have done something to offend, we've disobeyed, we have caused there to be a friction that there's an iniquity, there's something between us that all song nothing between.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: my soul and the Savior.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Think about that.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: Is there something between you and God?
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: How is this a hindrance to our ability to use tracks?
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's use it illustration.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't want to see your parent after you disappointed them,
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: the relationship.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: The fellowship has been strained.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: And when you are living on the out with your earthly father, your earthly mother,
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: It causes a problem in the fellowship.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's the same with our Heavenly Father, the Holy Ghost, and we're not going to get super deep in the doctrine of the Holy Ghost right now.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: But the Holy Ghost is sensitive.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Ghost was sent as a comforter to the world, sent to draw all men to Christ, his desire, his purpose to see people turn to the Savior.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: for you to yield to the Holy Spirit when you are consistently and constantly grieving him.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: One of my prayers, let's say this is actually in my prayer list, and I've mentioned this before.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: I pray that I would never bring shame to God's name, to my name, or my family.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now I am human, so I do fail, most certainly indubitably, and often I do.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: But if I live with a desire to not bring shame, but I live with a day's desire not just to not shame, but if I live with a desire to proclaim and lift high the name of Christ, that will be hard to do when I'm constantly trying to cover sin.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: You see, purity is not your sins being hidden, that's a fake, that's hypocrisy, that's being a whiteed cephaliker, as Jesus talked about, that's being a tomb that's nicely painted on the outside on the inside, it's dead man's bones, purity is not your sins being hidden, it is declining to do that which needs to be hidden.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not promoting or proselytizing a, a, a, sinless perfection doctrine, not in the least.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: There's not a day that's gone by that I haven't gotten the impatient that I haven't thought what this guy cut me off in traffic.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: There's not a day that's gone by that I have been perfect, not a single one, at least to my recollection.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: But friend,
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: How quickly do I restore the relationship?
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: If I've cursed out someone, how easy is it gonna be for me to get into my car to put fuel in my vehicle and hand someone a gospel tract?
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, that makes sense.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay, how about this?
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: When you put alcohol to your lips on Friday night, and you go to the farmer's market on Saturday with traction your pocket?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: How's that gonna work?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: when you are living in such a way, maybe because of that screen that you carry with you all day every day, that phone, and you are putting things both obscene and wicked in through your eye-gate and ear-gates, and I'm not just talking about the see these sides of the internet.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about the things you watch on Netflix, on Amazon Prime, on Hulu, whatever subscription you might have today, whatever it is in existence now, I'm talking about on YouTube.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about the stuff that comes with an age restriction.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking, though, that those things would be absolutely included and we could spend a long time on that.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm talking about the things that you scroll through on TikTok.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's very difficult to tell people about the Savior that gives victory over a death hell and a grave when you've got death hell and the grave in your heart because of the wickedness that you've pumped into what you put in comes out.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: We are what we eat, spiritually speaking, and some of us are full of dead man's bones.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: You say you're being a little strong today, you know what I'm like?
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking for people who use gospel tracks and impure people.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Impure people will not use gospel tracks.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: And if they do, they're doing so with great hypocrisy.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: We are all impure.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: Please understand, I'm not saying.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for someone's perfection before you start using gospel tracks, you will, you'll be waiting a long time.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: Just like I tell my daughter, my daughter amuse, much like me.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: there are very few things she gets more irritated at than her own mistakes, practicing piano or whatever it may be.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: She's like her daddy that way.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: I get very irritated at my own mistakes.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: Other people's mistakes and I don't have to bother me.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: So it would be careful about beating ourselves up.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: We must truthfully, let's cliche, but do our best.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe our best is just doing a little better than we did yesterday.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's spending
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: a few minutes less on Facebook today.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: A little while less looking at things we probably know we shouldn't have an Instagram.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Bible talks about lead us not into temptation, and the model prayer and the Lord's prayer, right?
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a problem I found that we, I, I do a pretty good job of leaving myself into temptation.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: Lead us not into temptation, God's not gonna tempt us with sin.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: So why would I tempt myself with sin?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: When I'm in pure, when I'm dirty, when I have an equity against a brother, when I have problems in my heart, one of the symptoms is a heart not intent on working certain all of souls.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: The great commission doesn't mean much to me when I'm wrong with God and I believe the same is true for you.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: I encourage you today, if you need to get something right with God, if your hands are dirty or hurt is in fuel, get that right, and then go to bibletracksink.org in order some free gospel trunks.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: My desire is to enlist an army of people that will use tracks.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: As I end this broadcast every week I say I have a great day for his glory.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Have a great day for.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: He is.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: Glory.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Because that is all about.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: The land Christ is at the center of it all.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get pure and tell people about him.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for listening.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Have a great day.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: For his glory.
