- 0:14City of Oz by L. Frank Baum, Chapter thirty, How the Story
- 0:19of Oz came to an end. The writer of these Oz stories has received
- 0:25a little note from Princess Dorothy of Oz, which for a time has made
- 0:29him feel rather discontented. The note was written on a broad white feather from
- 0:34a stork's wing, and it said, you will never hear anything more about
- 0:38Oz because we are now cut off forever from the rest of the world.
- 0:43But Toto and I will always love you and all the other children who love
- 0:47us. Dorothy Gale. This seemed to me too bad at first, for
- 0:53Oz is a very interesting fairyland. Still we have no right to feel grieved,
- 0:58for we have had enough of the history of the land of Oz to
- 1:02fill six story books, and from its quaint people and their strange adventures,
- 1:07we have been able to learn many useful and amusing things. So good luck
- 1:11to little Dorothy and her companions. May they live long in their invisible country
- 1:17and be very happy. The end end of chapter thirty end of the Emerald
