Paul says in Ephesians 4:24, “Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” And I love how he phrases that — “put on.” It’s intentional. It’s active. It’s something you choose. It’s not like the new self jumps on you in the morning like a cat. You actually have to reach for it.
