- 0:00Speaker 1: Heidi Ho, 605 News Radio 570 WKBN and Ron Burps,
- 0:04Speaker 1: 74 degrees with you till 630 tonight. And the Guardians
- 0:09Speaker 1: pregame a little after the 630 headlines here on News
- 0:12Speaker 1: Radio 570 WKBN.
- 0:15Speaker 2: G2, hello.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Hello, Ron.
- 0:18Speaker 4: How are you tonight?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Are you coming to me from another planet on an
- 0:22Speaker 2: alien ship?
- 0:24Speaker 4: Yes, I was just visited by aliens, and it was
- 0:28Speaker 4: a great time.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Really?
- 0:30Speaker 1: They were probing your brain and trying to figure out
- 0:33Speaker 1: what makes you tick.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but just the brain. They didn't probe anything else,
- 0:37Speaker 4: because that's a critical point.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Okay, you're certain of that? They didn't give you a
- 0:41Speaker 2: prostate check?
- 0:42Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure, yeah. I'm certain of it, yes.
- 0:47Speaker 2: All right, just checking.
- 0:49Speaker 1: So, I always like to start, folks, because I'm intrigued.
- 0:54Speaker 2: You're supposed to be saying this. What is on the
- 0:57Speaker 2: mind of G2 today?
- 1:00Speaker 4: Well, there are a few things.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I mean..
- 1:03Speaker 4: You know, I caught the end of Jeff's call, and
- 1:05Speaker 4: I'll go back and listen to the rest of it,
- 1:07Speaker 4: but the point we made, we discussed last week about
- 1:11Speaker 4: how this is a battle of good and evil, and
- 1:12Speaker 4: it's really clear. And how far they're trying to drive
- 1:16Speaker 4: us to eliminate our whole culture. There's a Democrat bill,
- 1:22Speaker 4: I think it's in New York, that just got advanced,
- 1:25Speaker 4: that is going to change the words mother and father
- 1:28Speaker 4: to gestating parent and non-gestating parent. This is an attempt
- 1:33Speaker 4: to completely rewrite all the entirety of our culture, and
- 1:37Speaker 4: it's just bizarre. And behind it all is a dark evil,
- 1:42Speaker 4: and it's very seductive, you know, as Marxism is very seductive.
- 1:46Speaker 4: It sounds like it's going to be great. The people
- 1:48Speaker 4: will loan the resources. There's a woman recently who did
- 1:52Speaker 4: one of these street interviews, and she said, I'm a communist.
- 1:54Speaker 4: What does that mean? Well, the people should own the
- 1:57Speaker 4: means of production, and she thinks that means something. No, sweetheart,
- 2:01Speaker 4: it ain't going to be the people. It's going to
- 2:03Speaker 4: be the government. And you're going to be their slave
- 2:06Speaker 4: just like every other time that happened. But we're in
- 2:09Speaker 4: this battle to completely reshape our culture and basically eliminate
- 2:15Speaker 4: this Constitution, which is such a barrier to people. So,
- 2:18Speaker 4: you know, it's interesting to watch this war across, you know,
- 2:22Speaker 4: rage across Western civilization. And if you've seen some of
- 2:26Speaker 4: the violence in Europe and the way..
- 2:29Speaker 5: Uh..
- 2:29Speaker 4: People being attacked the rate it didn't think is that
- 2:33Speaker 4: the rates are now getting absolute high-level review they'd be
- 2:37Speaker 4: going on to be eight hundreds of thousands of english
- 2:40Speaker 4: girls and then rape by these uh... uh... pakistani or
- 2:44Speaker 4: mother muslim grooming gang and and finally that's getting exposure
- 2:48Speaker 4: and uh... of course uh... the british parliament the u
- 2:52Speaker 4: k parliament voted a i don't know two three months
- 2:54Speaker 4: ago not to investigate it but they're having a hard
- 2:57Speaker 4: time keeping this in So I went to X, based
- 3:00Speaker 4: on a conversation I was having with some people about
- 3:02Speaker 4: these various forces trying to take over the United States,
- 3:05Speaker 4: and I just typed in, girls, England. That's all, just
- 3:09Speaker 4: those two words. The stream, the torrent of horrific stories
- 3:14Speaker 4: that came flooding out after that. about the abuse of
- 3:18Speaker 4: these kids. It is just tragic. So, you know, it's
- 3:22Speaker 4: a war, and we've got to fight back, and things
- 3:24Speaker 4: like the aliens are kind of fun. And by the way,
- 3:26Speaker 4: we don't know how those pyramids got built, do we?
- 3:28Speaker 4: There's no legitimate argument. This idea that it was slaves
- 3:31Speaker 4: pulling a rope that lifted these 350-ton blocks, 350 feet
- 3:35Speaker 4: in the air. No, sorry, that doesn't compute. We don't
- 3:39Speaker 4: know how they got built. And with these UFOs, Coming
- 3:43Speaker 4: back to this good versus evil, we really don't know
- 3:45Speaker 4: what this is. I think a lot of it is hoax.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I think some of it are things that we just
- 3:53Speaker 4: haven't seen yet, technologies not yet revealed. I guarantee you
- 3:57Speaker 4: that some of the airplanes that we've developed over time,
- 4:01Speaker 4: some of these directed energy weapons, drones, all of these
- 4:05Speaker 4: things at some point got reported as UFOs. And so
- 4:10Speaker 4: that's true. But there's also this other thing that, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 4: a woman I talk to from time to time says, well,
- 4:18Speaker 4: we're probably seeing interdimensional beings. And I said, okay, well,
- 4:22Speaker 4: what does that mean? She said, well, these are, you know,
- 4:23Speaker 4: beings that move from one dimension to another. And the
- 4:27Speaker 4: reality is everything really is interconnected. And these are just
- 4:31Speaker 4: the beings. And I said, well, you know, what are those?
- 4:36Speaker 4: And she said, well, in my view... they're probably like
- 4:39Speaker 4: what we've always referred to as angels and demons. And
- 4:43Speaker 4: so there is a growing belief that people refer to
- 4:46Speaker 4: in what I heard today, that these are actually the
- 4:51Speaker 4: things we've been hearing about since the beginning of our time,
- 4:55Speaker 4: that have been written about in all of human history,
- 4:57Speaker 4: that these are forces that are either angelic or demonic.
- 5:01Speaker 4: It's the two sides of good and evil, and every
- 5:04Speaker 4: once in a while the battle spills out and we
- 5:06Speaker 4: can see it, or the interactions they're having with whatever's
- 5:10Speaker 4: happening on Earth we can see. I think all of
- 5:12Speaker 4: this right now is beyond our comprehension, and I really
- 5:16Speaker 4: don't believe, not that I disbelieve, I neither believe nor
- 5:19Speaker 4: disbelieve anything the government says about it until we have clear, provable,
- 5:26Speaker 4: you know, irrefutable evidence. It's always this hokey, hazy, you know,
- 5:31Speaker 4: can't really explain. Let's look at this, as you said,
- 5:33Speaker 4: grainy video. It's never clear. Why is that? Well, because
- 5:38Speaker 4: it's just a distraction. It's propaganda. It's one more thing
- 5:41Speaker 4: to tie us up for those of us that didn't
- 5:42Speaker 4: get sucked in by, I don't know, sports or Kardashians
- 5:47Speaker 4: or I would go to the Kardashians. I know there
- 5:49Speaker 4: are newer things like the Housewives of Atlanta. You know,
- 5:52Speaker 4: if we're not watching that, Maybe we'll get wrapped up
- 5:55Speaker 4: in this. I don't think we know all of it.
- 5:59Speaker 4: I think some of it is known to whomever is
- 6:01Speaker 4: driving these things, like the drones that were over the
- 6:05Speaker 4: East Coast last year or two years ago, that they
- 6:08Speaker 4: claim they didn't know what it was, and then they said, oh, well,
- 6:10Speaker 4: it came from an Iranian mothership. You remember that one?
- 6:14Speaker 4: Some of it's known, some of it's not. This could
- 6:16Speaker 4: be something beyond, and it could be that it is
- 6:21Speaker 4: truly interdimensional, meaning, you know, the things we've been hearing
- 6:24Speaker 4: about our whole lives. Who knows? But that's it. Now,
- 6:28Speaker 4: the other thing, of course, that's on all of our
- 6:30Speaker 4: minds is this Warner rant. And I've been listening to
- 6:34Speaker 4: this gentleman you've been mentioning, and I find him insufferable.
- 6:38Speaker 4: I can't take this guy. I listened to him until I,
- 6:40Speaker 4: you know, had a jam and ice pick in my ear.
- 6:43Speaker 4: And here's why.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Kind of like some of the people who listen to
- 6:45Speaker 2: this program.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Exactly. Yes, that's right. And here's part of it. Like
- 6:54Speaker 4: the people talking about UFOs, he's always talking in sort
- 6:57Speaker 4: of nebulous ways. Inventories are going down. Well, how much? Well,
- 6:59Speaker 4: I'm not going to tell you. You know, he talks
- 7:02Speaker 4: as if closing the Strait of Hormuz took away all supply.
- 7:06Speaker 4: He says things about how it'll never recover. What's your
- 7:09Speaker 4: basis for that? As we were heading into this war,
- 7:12Speaker 4: they were complaining of an oil glut and prices were falling.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Suddenly we're never going to recover. Suddenly this war is
- 7:20Speaker 4: unlike every other war we've ever had. We'll never get
- 7:22Speaker 4: out of it. And then the Pentagon made this statement
- 7:27Speaker 4: that it's going to take six months to clear the
- 7:28Speaker 4: Strait of Hormuz. So I've been trying to figure out
- 7:31Speaker 4: how many mines were actually laid in the Strait of Hormuz.
- 7:35Speaker 4: And I don't know for sure. There's a guy I'm
- 7:37Speaker 4: going to talk to. But it's reportedly between 10 and 20.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Not 10,000. Not 1,000. Now, after the Iraq War, there
- 7:46Speaker 4: were 1,000 in the Gulf, and they had to take
- 7:49Speaker 4: those out. They said that took a seven-month cleanup effort.
- 7:53Speaker 4: This is like 10 or 20. We've got satellites and
- 7:56Speaker 4: technologies we didn't have at the end of the Gulf War.
- 7:58Speaker 4: We've got boats already in the area that are capable
- 8:02Speaker 4: of doing searches and tweets. Maybe it'll take six months.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Maybe it won't. But, you know, I just don't see
- 8:11Speaker 4: that as halting anything. all of uh... world economy but
- 8:15Speaker 4: we're going to be able to mount enough effort to
- 8:17Speaker 4: go find me because what because it's too expensive if
- 8:20Speaker 4: the world goes into some kind of hyper oil price
- 8:25Speaker 4: so one of the big concerns that this this guy
- 8:28Speaker 4: you you mentioned had it is of course uh... inventory
- 8:32Speaker 4: local inventory levels now it in many ways they're okay
- 8:38Speaker 4: But you could see that the reason that inventories or
- 8:42Speaker 4: supplies are remaining robust is because they are drawing down
- 8:45Speaker 4: these global reserves. We all talked about China's 100- to
- 8:49Speaker 4: 120-day reserve at the beginning of the war, right, how
- 8:52Speaker 4: they were insulated from this. But remember how, when you
- 8:55Speaker 4: think about it, you think, well, wait, they have a
- 8:58Speaker 4: 120-day reserve, but they are going to take 30, 35,
- 9:01Speaker 4: maybe 40 days to refill the supply chain? so that
- 9:06Speaker 4: means that they have to have to apply started getting
- 9:08Speaker 4: ninety days well they they kept the iranian craft failing
- 9:12Speaker 4: for a few months or a few weeks so let's
- 9:15Speaker 4: pay right now they're at like seventy five days the
- 9:20Speaker 4: chinese have about fifteen days left before this thing has
- 9:22Speaker 4: to end or their economy is going to get slammed
- 9:26Speaker 4: and remember that we fed separate price from supply So
- 9:32Speaker 4: there are two elements to this, right? I mean, some
- 9:34Speaker 4: places are already having problems. Thailand's having a hard time
- 9:38Speaker 4: with LNG, so they're trying to get more from the U.S.
- 9:40Speaker 4: You know, there are places that are already having a
- 9:43Speaker 4: hard time with supply in some ways. And all these
- 9:47Speaker 4: materials aren't homogenous. It's not that every type of oil
- 9:51Speaker 4: or every type of distillate is the same everywhere or
- 9:55Speaker 4: that every refinery is designed to process the same material.
- 10:00Speaker 4: inputs and create the same outputs. It's not a homogenous industry.
- 10:03Speaker 4: It's not. So this isn't a perfect analysis. China may
- 10:07Speaker 4: be running out of some things already. There may be
- 10:10Speaker 4: other things that they have a two-year supply of, right?
- 10:13Speaker 4: But on average, 120 days. They need a resolution now.
- 10:17Speaker 2: And they have a.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Tremendous voice in this because... Iran stands really alone. You
- 10:23Speaker 4: see Russia's not coming in to take on this fight.
- 10:25Speaker 4: China's not coming in to take on this fight. And
- 10:27Speaker 4: I don't believe either of them want Iran to have
- 10:29Speaker 4: a nuclear weapon or control of the Strait of Hormuz.
- 10:34Speaker 4: So they really stand alone. The Sunni nations don't stand
- 10:36Speaker 4: with them. That's crystal clear. They're our allies much more
- 10:39Speaker 4: than they're theirs. So they stand alone. It's a hard
- 10:42Speaker 4: way to be standing alone in the world. They have
- 10:45Speaker 4: no air or naval power. They can't project much power.
- 10:49Speaker 4: They have these missiles that they can send and some drones.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Certainly they could take both in the straight. That's clear.
- 10:54Speaker 4: But it's not like they're going to go launch an
- 10:56Speaker 4: invasion of a foreign country. So I'm still stymied by
- 11:01Speaker 4: this concept that I keep hearing from globalists and never-Trumper
- 11:05Speaker 4: types and all these others that say, well, day by
- 11:08Speaker 4: day the Iranian position gets better.
- 11:10Speaker 6: How?
- 11:11Speaker 4: By losing huge amounts of money and having your military
- 11:15Speaker 4: destabilized and losing all of your leadership, that's making you stronger?
- 11:19Speaker 4: This is just nonsense. So I think there is tremendous
- 11:25Speaker 4: pressure on Iran, as there is on the United States.
- 11:27Speaker 4: The only party that doesn't have pressure here is Israel,
- 11:30Speaker 4: because their goals are different than ours, don't share. If
- 11:34Speaker 4: we get $ 160 a barrel of oil and it hurts
- 11:36Speaker 4: the U.S. economy, Israel's not going to worry about that
- 11:40Speaker 4: as long as they can stay on their mission. So
- 11:43Speaker 4: that's the one party in the three parties that that
- 11:46Speaker 4: does not share our pressure certainly the gulf coast countries
- 11:50Speaker 4: do they want this straight open they want their product
- 11:53Speaker 4: flowing they need you know they they have a heavy
- 11:56Speaker 4: demand for cash in that cash comes from oil so
- 12:00Speaker 4: so they are somewhat at risk but but they you
- 12:03Speaker 4: know they've been able to work through this so so
- 12:06Speaker 4: the real pressure point is the united states and iran
- 12:09Speaker 4: and and i think that both have really serious reasons
- 12:12Speaker 4: to get this dot And so that's what I think. Now,
- 12:16Speaker 4: regime change, you know, we've talked about this many, many times.
- 12:19Speaker 4: The United States is not prepared, willing, capable, emotionally able
- 12:24Speaker 4: to handle what it would take to change out the
- 12:28Speaker 4: Iranian regime. They can't do it. We don't have the
- 12:31Speaker 4: stomach for it. The testicular veracity. Don't have it. So
- 12:37Speaker 4: we're not going to do that. So we can best
- 12:39Speaker 4: come down to a deal. where Iran doesn't have control
- 12:43Speaker 4: of the Strait, where that's governed by some international body,
- 12:46Speaker 4: you know, a board of Gulf Coast countries or something,
- 12:49Speaker 4: I don't know, and where they have agreed to not
- 12:52Speaker 4: have a nuclear weapon, which they don't have, and no
- 12:55Speaker 4: one's ever going to let them have. So they really
- 12:58Speaker 4: give up nothing in order to get this. And what
- 13:01Speaker 4: do they get for it? They get to ship more oil.
- 13:04Speaker 4: They get investment. They get to be able to be
- 13:07Speaker 4: operating in the clear light of day, no more ghost fleets.
- 13:09Speaker 4: They could begin shipping oil into the markets like everybody else.
- 13:12Speaker 4: And rather than selling it to China at, I don't know,
- 13:16Speaker 4: a $ 10, $ 20, $ 30 a barrel discount, they get to
- 13:18Speaker 4: charge full freight. Well, that is a tremendous incentive. Now,
- 13:23Speaker 4: of course, there's a religious element in that community, and
- 13:26Speaker 4: we're not in that community. And oddly, unlike every other war,
- 13:29Speaker 4: we have absolutely no news coming out of Iran.
- 13:32Speaker 3: None.
- 13:33Speaker 4: That's bizarre. So some people say, hey, they just want
- 13:38Speaker 4: to be free. We don't know what they want. We
- 13:41Speaker 4: know that they've all lived in this culture for a
- 13:43Speaker 4: very long time, and we know that we're not going
- 13:46Speaker 4: to get them out of it. So the conditions inside
- 13:50Speaker 4: Iran are what they are. When they say they killed
- 13:53Speaker 4: 40,000 people, I'm saying, well, that's an awful lot of work. Killing, processing,
- 13:56Speaker 4: burying or burning 40,000, that's a lot of work, and
- 14:00Speaker 4: not one cell phone video?
- 14:02Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 14:03Speaker 4: That's kind of weird. So I really don't believe that.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Truth be told, I think that's just more propaganda. But
- 14:10Speaker 4: this regime is not going to be changed. It has
- 14:12Speaker 4: been changed as much as it will through assassinations. They
- 14:15Speaker 4: know that at any moment, the next level of leadership
- 14:18Speaker 4: could be assassinated. And they know that they're losing hundreds
- 14:21Speaker 4: and hundreds of millions of dollars a day. So I
- 14:24Speaker 4: don't think Iran is standing in some kind of secure position.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Coming back to the oil markets, and we'll hit this
- 14:29Speaker 4: harder when we have time. There's no question the United
- 14:34Speaker 4: States is absolutely doing a remarkable job of producing oil.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Trump was just telling the Brits, get back in the
- 14:42Speaker 4: Brent Sea and start doing some work. I mean, they're
- 14:45Speaker 4: letting that oil field deplete and just run down. I mean,
- 14:49Speaker 4: they're letting production run down. They're not developing in parts
- 14:52Speaker 4: because they're all focused on this silly green thing. They've
- 14:57Speaker 4: got to go in and start doing that again, and
- 14:58Speaker 4: now they're going to have an incentive to do it
- 14:59Speaker 4: because they're going to see how vulnerable they are. The
- 15:02Speaker 4: Europeans want this done, of course. They want this straight
- 15:05Speaker 4: open because they're in trouble. They're maybe in the worst
- 15:08Speaker 4: trouble of anybody. And so you've got tremendous global pressures.
- 15:12Speaker 4: These inventories are coming down, but the purpose of these
- 15:15Speaker 4: inventories was to carry us through this kind of a problem. Now,
- 15:18Speaker 4: if we go past July 15th and we don't have
- 15:22Speaker 4: a resolution, yes, we're going to see, according to all
- 15:25Speaker 4: the majors who will make tons of money, this fat
- 15:28Speaker 4: stacks and full sacks. We're looking at $ 150, $ 100 barrel oil.
- 15:33Speaker 4: All the majors have kind of centered in on that.
- 15:35Speaker 4: It seems like a lot of the executives are all
- 15:37Speaker 4: saying it's $ 150, $ 160, so that's where they're targeting. If
- 15:40Speaker 4: we don't get resolution at that price, people aren't going
- 15:43Speaker 4: to go driving. You're going to see reduction of shipments.
- 15:46Speaker 4: You're going to see increased prices. It's going to be
- 15:48Speaker 4: real stress. The part I don't understand is this claim
- 15:51Speaker 4: that once the straits open, we don't return to normal.
- 15:55Speaker 4: You've got, just in Venezuela, there are projects identified in
- 15:58Speaker 4: Venezuela that could increase production down there by, you know, 100,000, 200,000,
- 16:05Speaker 4: 300,000 barrels a day. That's a significant amount in a
- 16:08Speaker 4: 105 million barrel market, right? So I just don't buy
- 16:13Speaker 4: the doomsayers. If this war continues, we're going to see
- 16:17Speaker 4: very expensive oil. Maybe the $ 150, $ 160 barrel number is true.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Maybe that can happen.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Stand by.
- 16:22Speaker 7: We'll pick it up.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Stand by. I want to pick it up with you.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And we'll pick it up at that price right after this.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Stay tuned. 570 WKBN.
- 16:32Speaker 1: All right, you were saying $ 150, $ 160 barrel oil if
- 16:35Speaker 1: we don't get something resolved by July 15th.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, at that point, you know, you're going
- 16:42Speaker 4: to start seeing real supply. If China's going to keep going,
- 16:45Speaker 4: they're going to have to start paying super premiums to
- 16:48Speaker 4: direct oil away from its natural course, from where it
- 16:51Speaker 4: would naturally go. But look, it's not like they're going
- 16:53Speaker 4: to be pulling it out of Venezuela. That's coming here.
- 16:56Speaker 4: And you've talked a lot about light sweet and this
- 16:58Speaker 4: sort of heavy crude, right? And, of course, Canada and
- 17:02Speaker 4: Venezuela are great sources for that heavy crude. Our refineries
- 17:06Speaker 4: are prepared to process it. They blend that stuff. So
- 17:10Speaker 4: we've got a good base for that. But the actual
- 17:14Speaker 4: flows and how much that might be diverted with China
- 17:18Speaker 4: really gets in trouble because we're going to probably try
- 17:20Speaker 4: to help China too, right? We're going to try to
- 17:22Speaker 4: get some things there. Of course, some of these OPEC
- 17:24Speaker 4: countries are beginning to increase production. So I think in
- 17:28Speaker 4: May they were up like 188,000 barrels. It's going to
- 17:31Speaker 4: be another couple hundred thousand barrels a day in June.
- 17:35Speaker 4: That's a nice offset. It's not enough to cover this.
- 17:37Speaker 4: The estimate is that most people are using is that
- 17:40Speaker 4: we're losing about 12 to 13 million barrels a day.
- 17:43Speaker 4: That's a lot. And remember, they were taking 20, 21
- 17:46Speaker 4: million barrels through the Strait, and then about seven of
- 17:48Speaker 4: that's going out through Saudi's pipeline, a little bit through
- 17:50Speaker 4: UAE's pipeline. So maybe it is 12 or 13 million
- 17:55Speaker 4: barrels a day about that that we've lost. What I
- 17:58Speaker 4: don't understand is why they say, oh, it'll never come back.
- 18:02Speaker 4: You know, we're never going to get normalized again. I
- 18:04Speaker 4: think the guy that I was watching today, the guy
- 18:07Speaker 4: that you mentioned, he's just a doomsayer. He hates Trump.
- 18:11Speaker 4: He is definitely a globalist. And so his political ideology
- 18:16Speaker 4: is affecting his analysis, which is why he's so unspecific
- 18:21Speaker 4: in his statement. And so, you know, sarcastic and, you know,
- 18:29Speaker 4: it's just always taken swing. So I'm looking at other
- 18:33Speaker 4: folks and, you know, looking at other things. And when
- 18:35Speaker 4: you look at the IEA information, when you look at
- 18:37Speaker 4: the real hardcore source data, the same data he uses,
- 18:41Speaker 4: you can see that Inventory of oil in the United
- 18:43Speaker 4: States from January 1 to now is up 1.4 barrels.
- 18:49Speaker 4: I'm sorry, 1.4 days in terms of days on hand.
- 18:52Speaker 4: It's up 1.4 days. Yes, we have to get this
- 18:55Speaker 4: straight open. It's going to cause a massive global disruption
- 18:59Speaker 4: if we don't. I do not believe it's going to
- 19:01Speaker 4: be a disruption that can't be addressed. I think that
- 19:04Speaker 4: the oil glut they were talking about before the Strait
- 19:07Speaker 4: was closed means we've got a lot of global production.
- 19:11Speaker 4: You can bet that everybody that can throw a valve
- 19:13Speaker 4: or punch a hole is working hard to tap now
- 19:16Speaker 4: into their reserves so that they can take advantage of
- 19:19Speaker 4: these high prices at 97 to 100. Maybe if they're
- 19:22Speaker 4: thinking it's going to go to 150, they want to
- 19:24Speaker 4: be selling it. There's a great oil field in the
- 19:26Speaker 4: north of Iraq in an area that's controlled by the Kurds.
- 19:30Speaker 4: There's a huge, it is a tremendous opportunity for additional development,
- 19:34Speaker 4: and it's been going on for years. And there are U.S.
- 19:37Speaker 4: players in that field. I've talked to them. So it's a,
- 19:46Speaker 4: here's the way that I think encapsulated. Human beings solve problems.
- 19:51Speaker 4: This problem affects every human being. There is an unlimited
- 19:55Speaker 4: amount of talent, technology, and cash to solve this problem.
- 20:01Speaker 4: So you can bet that we're going to find more sources.
- 20:03Speaker 4: We're going to de-bottleneck. We're going to punch holes. It
- 20:07Speaker 4: takes a while to bring a well to completion and
- 20:10Speaker 4: all that. That's true. But there's some that are semi-complete
- 20:12Speaker 4: that could go through to completion. There are a lot
- 20:16Speaker 4: of things that are going to be invested to quickly
- 20:18Speaker 4: get more material to the market. You've got this, let's
- 20:21Speaker 4: say if you did 180 more and you do another
- 20:22Speaker 4: 200 in June, 400 barrels a day fees, OPEC, Kazakhstan,
- 20:31Speaker 4: and the rest. It's going to bring you up to
- 20:36Speaker 4: that level. Anybody that can find a bucket of oil
- 20:39Speaker 4: in their garage is going to go sell it, these numbers.
- 20:42Speaker 4: So human beings solve problems. Unlimited talent, unlimited technology, incredible technology,
- 20:49Speaker 4: and unlimited capital. This problem is going to get solved.
- 20:54Speaker 4: And so we absolutely have to get this War brought
- 20:57Speaker 4: to an end. We have to get this straight open.
- 20:58Speaker 4: It's critical to Iran. It's critical to the United States.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Less critical to Israel. Israel has to deal with this
- 21:05Speaker 4: thing they're doing in Lebanon. I think this thing between
- 21:07Speaker 4: Netanyahu and Trump was theater because Trump now has become
- 21:11Speaker 4: acutely aware that everybody thinks that he's just doing Netanyahu's bidding.
- 21:16Speaker 4: So he's trying to counter that. But we'll hit this
- 21:18Speaker 4: more later in the week when we get on and
- 21:20Speaker 4: have some more time.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Thank you, G2. Appreciate the analysis.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Thank you.

- 22:57Speaker 7: Good evening, everyone.
- 22:58Speaker 9: Welcome to the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show. We join you
- 23:03Speaker 9: tonight from Yankee Stadium in New York. It's the Guardians
- 23:06Speaker 9: and the New York Yankees getting ready for game one
- 23:10Speaker 9: of this three-game series. Jim Rosenhouse along with you on
- 23:13Speaker 9: a great night for baseball in the Bronx, about a
- 23:16Speaker 9: half hour away from tonight's first pitch. Two teams playing
- 23:19Speaker 9: good baseball to start their seasons two months in. The
- 23:22Speaker 9: Guardians had topped the American League Central Division by a
- 23:25Speaker 9: game and a half over the White Sox. The Yankees
- 23:28Speaker 9: with the second-best record in the American League, but that
- 23:32Speaker 9: only has them in second place in the AL East
- 23:34Speaker 9: behind the Red Hot Rays. Just a game back are
- 23:36Speaker 9: the Yankees at 36-23. Pitching matchup tonight, Joey Cantillo for
- 23:42Speaker 9: the Guardians, Cam Schlittler for New York.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Stay tuned.
- 23:45Speaker 9: More to come after this. Welcome back to the Bet365
- 23:54Speaker 9: Guardians warm-up show. We're in New York tonight where the
- 23:56Speaker 9: Guardians are taking on the Yankees. Meanwhile, two new faces
- 24:01Speaker 9: at AAA Columbus who started the season at AA Akron
- 24:05Speaker 9: are first baseman outfielder Ralphie Velasquez and infielder Angel Henao.
- 24:09Speaker 9: Just two of the players that Steven Osterer, the vice
- 24:12Speaker 9: president of player development, will fill us in on next.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Here's the Bet365 Minute, where winning is everything, with Scott Davidson.
- 24:21Speaker 11: Let's check out the numbers tonight in the Bronx. The
- 24:23Speaker 11: Yankees a big favorite over the guards. New York is
- 24:25Speaker 11: minus 225, and the total is 7.5. And off another
- 24:29Speaker 11: winner on Sunday, going to give you another pitching prop,
- 24:32Speaker 11: just like we did on Sunday. And tonight I'm heading
- 24:34Speaker 11: to Minnesota to do it, but going with the White
- 24:37Speaker 11: Sox starter, Davis Martin, going over 4.5 strikeouts with Martin tonight. Now,
- 24:41Speaker 11: Martin is over in seven straight games and over in
- 24:44Speaker 11: nine of 11 this season, and he just had five
- 24:47Speaker 11: Ks against these twins in his last start. They're a
- 24:50Speaker 11: perfect matchup for him as they have the sixth highest
- 24:52Speaker 11: strikeout rate and the fourth highest whiff rate. That is huge.
- 24:56Speaker 11: Davis Martin of the White Sox, over four and a
- 24:59Speaker 11: half Ks, my play of the day. Now, you can

- 25:17Speaker 9: Welcome back to the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show from Yankee
- 25:21Speaker 9: Stadium in New York. AAA Columbus is brimming with prospects.
- 25:25Speaker 9: Vice President of Player Development Stephen Osterer fills us in
- 25:29Speaker 9: on many, including young Ralphie Velasquez, the first baseman outfielder
- 25:34Speaker 9: who is just getting his feet wet at AAA Columbus,
- 25:38Speaker 9: and the adjustment from AA has been seamless so far.
- 25:42Speaker 12: Yeah, he has not missed a beat. He's about to
- 25:44Speaker 12: turn 21, I believe, later this week, and is one
- 25:48Speaker 12: of the youngest players there in AAA. Like I said earlier,
- 25:52Speaker 12: I was in Columbus when he did show up, and
- 25:53Speaker 12: he was really excited to be there and also fit
- 25:56Speaker 12: in right away, was not nervous about the transition whatsoever.
- 26:01Speaker 12: I know we talked about him already this year, just
- 26:03Speaker 12: how impressive he's been at the plate. you know, like
- 26:06Speaker 12: the approach and his patience to stay within his game plan,
- 26:09Speaker 12: make good swing decisions, the consistent contact when he does
- 26:12Speaker 12: swing and hitting the ball really hard with a lot
- 26:15Speaker 12: of damage. We'd call him a three-pillar hitter and he's
- 26:18Speaker 12: just continued to do that in Columbus so far.
- 26:20Speaker 4: And, you know, he's.
- 26:21Speaker 12: Built up his game workload enough at this point to
- 26:24Speaker 12: feel comfortable adding some more outfield games into the mix.
- 26:27Speaker 12: And he did that in Akron and now we're likely
- 26:30Speaker 12: to see some of that now moving forward in Columbus
- 26:32Speaker 12: too so there's there's lots to like with Ralphie as
- 26:35Speaker 12: much as we've talked about him before and now we
- 26:38Speaker 12: know that he's going to continue learning at that level
- 26:40Speaker 12: and developing at a really high rate especially around that
- 26:44Speaker 12: player group and that competition level so you know excited
- 26:47Speaker 12: to have Ralphie at that level and continue to just
- 26:50Speaker 12: to expect him to perform and to develop.
- 26:53Speaker 9: Shortstop Angel Hanau another who's putting up tremendous numbers wherever
- 26:57Speaker 9: he's been and And again, another player who didn't seem
- 27:01Speaker 9: to miss a beat moving up a level. And what
- 27:03Speaker 9: are you seeing there? How come he was able to
- 27:05Speaker 9: make that adjustment so quickly?
- 27:07Speaker 12: Yeah, he's grown a bit of a sample size now
- 27:09Speaker 12: in Columbus. I think it's about 18 games as we're
- 27:11Speaker 12: talking to this point. He's settled in really nicely at
- 27:14Speaker 12: the level. I mean, the raw traits are just, you know,
- 27:18Speaker 12: we expect him to stick around his ability to make
- 27:20Speaker 12: contact in zone. hit the ball hard at productive angles
- 27:24Speaker 12: and do it from both sides of the plate. Those
- 27:26Speaker 12: have showed up, and it might take a bit of
- 27:29Speaker 12: time to get used to the game planning and making
- 27:31Speaker 12: good decisions within the game and within the at-bat, and
- 27:35Speaker 12: I think we're seeing some really strong overall numbers with
- 27:38Speaker 12: the power and damage department and not striking out, but
- 27:41Speaker 12: he's maybe not walking as much as we've seen in
- 27:44Speaker 12: the past, and that's the adjustment to the level, and
- 27:47Speaker 12: that's also kind of why he's there is to work
- 27:49Speaker 12: on that. he's been really good. The transition has been smooth. Defensively,
- 27:53Speaker 12: he's getting You know, some games at shortstop, and we've
- 27:57Speaker 12: transitioned to, you know, give him some exposure to second
- 28:00Speaker 12: base and third base just to, you know, get the
- 28:02Speaker 12: versatility rolling. He was exclusively shortstop in Akron up until
- 28:06Speaker 12: this point. So getting his feet settled at the other
- 28:10Speaker 12: positions and getting some opportunities is great. You know, obviously
- 28:13Speaker 12: we've got to work with the lineup, and we've got
- 28:15Speaker 12: some really capable defenders in the infield there too. So,
- 28:18Speaker 12: you know, it's a bit of a puzzle overall, but
- 28:20Speaker 12: Hanau has looked really good and hasn't missed a beat
- 28:23Speaker 12: at all in the transition.
- 28:25Speaker 9: And, of course, one of the others that Stephen Oster
- 28:27Speaker 9: has been impressed with has been catcher and now outfielder sometimes,
- 28:31Speaker 9: Cooper Engel, who's having a tremendous year at the plate.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Stay tuned.
- 28:35Speaker 7: We'll have more from Yankee Stadium in New York after this.
- 28:38Speaker 13: Do you read more about your team in the offseason
- 28:41Speaker 13: than in the season season? Does your game day outfit

- 30:44Speaker 9: our pregame weather forecast presented by WKYC, sponsored by our
- 30:50Speaker 9: friends at Window World.
- 30:52Speaker 16: Calming, clear, and comfortably cool in the overnight hours. That's
- 30:55Speaker 16: going to drop the temperatures back into the low 50s
- 30:58Speaker 16: for Wednesday morning. Through the afternoon, we will warm beautifully
- 31:01Speaker 16: into the mid-70s across northern Ohio. Very seasonable for this
- 31:04Speaker 16: time of the year, although it will be a little
- 31:06Speaker 16: cooler along the lakeshore. Looking ahead to Thursday, just a
- 31:09Speaker 16: few clouds around with temperatures topping out in the low 80s.
- 31:13Speaker 16: In the 3 News Weather Center, I'm Chief Meteorologist Betsy Clay.
- 31:16Speaker 9: Meanwhile here in New York, a great baseball night. Guardians
- 31:19Speaker 9: starting a three-game series. and opening a six-game road swing
- 31:23Speaker 9: against the Yankees. Tom Hamilton talks about it with manager
- 31:26Speaker 9: Stephen Vogt. The Key Bank Manager Show, next.
- 31:30Speaker 2: See you.
- 31:39Speaker 7: Hi again, everybody, with Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt. This is
- 31:42Speaker 7: Tom Hamilton.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Welcome.
- 31:44Speaker 7: It's the Manager Show brought to you by Key Bank.
- 31:47Speaker 7: Off day yesterday here in New York City. Do you
- 31:50Speaker 7: like an off day in New York City?
- 31:51Speaker 2: I do.
- 31:52Speaker 17: I think it's fun. And especially for some of our
- 31:53Speaker 17: younger players that maybe haven't experienced New York City, you
- 31:56Speaker 17: got to get out and explore. There's so many great
- 31:58Speaker 17: things to see. It's a really cool city and it's
- 32:01Speaker 17: very different than anywhere else. So it's always fun when
- 32:04Speaker 17: we get to do that here.
- 32:06Speaker 7: The fun can end at 710 because of this ballpark
- 32:09Speaker 7: and that ball club over there. They're pretty good, aren't they?
- 32:12Speaker 17: Yeah, this is a really good team. We know that.
- 32:14Speaker 17: They are year in and year out. It's always going
- 32:15Speaker 17: to be a good roster. obviously we're seeing their best
- 32:18Speaker 17: three pitchers while we're in town, and this lineup can
- 32:21Speaker 17: really hit. So we've got our work cut out for us,
- 32:23Speaker 17: but we're a pretty good team too. So we always
- 32:25Speaker 17: like to play these guys. It's a good measuring stick
- 32:28Speaker 17: of where we are, and we're going to go out
- 32:30Speaker 17: and have three fun games, I have a feeling.
- 32:32Speaker 7: When you saw the advance, Schlittler, Cole, Rodan, did you think,
- 32:39Speaker 7: wait a minute, is this October?
- 32:40Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 17: Obviously, Schlitter is having a great year. He's off to
- 32:44Speaker 17: a great start, and Garrett Cole's coming back from Tommy
- 32:46Speaker 17: John and hasn't skipped a beat. We've seen Rodon plenty
- 32:49Speaker 17: over the last few years. But again, we have three
- 32:52Speaker 17: really good pitchers going too, so it's shaping up to
- 32:55Speaker 17: be a good series.
- 32:56Speaker 7: Because I'd like to keep my job before the first pitch,
- 32:59Speaker 7: I'm just going to call tonight's starter Cam, if you're
- 33:02Speaker 7: okay with that. We have not seen him before. What
- 33:05Speaker 7: is making him so special? Because right now, Voter, He's
- 33:09Speaker 7: one of the best pitchers in the game.
- 33:10Speaker 17: Yeah, I mean, obviously, I've never seen him pitch in person,
- 33:13Speaker 17: so I'm looking forward to seeing that, but three very
- 33:16Speaker 17: good fastballs, so he's got four-seam cut and two-seam all
- 33:19Speaker 17: around 98 to 100. They're going three different directions, and
- 33:23Speaker 17: so you have to make a decision, and that can
- 33:25Speaker 17: be tough, and a very good curveball on top of that.
- 33:27Speaker 17: You know, doesn't throw the curveball a ton for strike,
- 33:30Speaker 17: so if we can lay off that and be ready
- 33:31Speaker 17: to hit the fastballs, he throws over 90% fastballs, so
- 33:34Speaker 17: we got to Be ready to go from pitch number one.
- 33:37Speaker 7: Might that be better, though, for your ball club? You've
- 33:39Speaker 7: struggled more with the off-speed rather than the fastball this year.
- 33:43Speaker 17: I like our chances. I really do. We tend to
- 33:46Speaker 17: step up when we're facing guys like this. So as
- 33:49Speaker 17: long as we're on time for that fastball, it should
- 33:50Speaker 17: be a good night.
- 33:52Speaker 7: And obviously for Joey Cantillo, he's got to keep you
- 33:54Speaker 7: in the ballgame early. That's the one way that you
- 33:57Speaker 7: really have a shot against any club, let's face it.
- 34:01Speaker 7: What's the key for Joey?
- 34:02Speaker 17: Strikes. It's consistent. When Joey's throwing strikes, we know he's
- 34:06Speaker 17: got the best changeup in curveball in the league, and
- 34:08Speaker 17: so does the league. So when he's filling up the
- 34:11Speaker 17: strike zone with those pitches, they're tough to square up,
- 34:13Speaker 17: but you pitch in bad counts. If you're pitching in
- 34:15Speaker 17: 2-0 and 3-1 counts and you have to come over
- 34:17Speaker 17: the plate, that's where Joey tends to get hurt, and
- 34:20Speaker 17: the walks have hurt him. So attack the strike zone
- 34:22Speaker 17: with your best stuff. Don't worry about pinpoint command. Don't
- 34:25Speaker 17: worry about location. Just chuck that ball the best you
- 34:28Speaker 17: can over the plate, and when Joey does that, he's
- 34:30Speaker 17: pretty dang good. Angel Martinez back in the lineup. Yeah,
- 34:34Speaker 17: we're really pleased. I mean, he made some good strides
- 34:36Speaker 17: over the last few days. Our medical staff is just incredible,
- 34:38Speaker 17: and two days of intensive treatment. And Angel told me
- 34:42Speaker 17: Sunday night, even after he left the game, or Saturday
- 34:45Speaker 17: when he had to go get MRI, he said, I'll
- 34:46Speaker 17: be ready for Tuesday. And I don't doubt that, but
- 34:49Speaker 17: let's go through the process first. But really happy he
- 34:51Speaker 17: passed through all of his tests, and so he'll be
- 34:53Speaker 17: back out there tonight.
- 34:54Speaker 7: Stephen Kwan's back in the lineup. If you want to
- 34:57Speaker 7: look at this as the glass half-full, You hated the
- 35:00Speaker 7: fact you didn't have him this past weekend. Heck, maybe
- 35:03Speaker 7: for him, a little break like this might be the
- 35:06Speaker 7: best thing ever.
- 35:07Speaker 17: Well, I think it was good for Quanye to go
- 35:08Speaker 17: be with his family during a tough time. I mean,
- 35:10Speaker 17: that's most important. We can look at the baseball side
- 35:12Speaker 17: of it too. But Quanye took the time, go be
- 35:16Speaker 17: with the family. And I'm so thankful that we have
- 35:19Speaker 17: that ability because these guys go and we play every
- 35:22Speaker 17: single day. No matter what's going on in your personal life,
- 35:25Speaker 17: you show up and play. And as well, you should.
- 35:27Speaker 17: That's our job. But when there's something going on in
- 35:29Speaker 17: the family, you need to be there. And so glad
- 35:31Speaker 17: Stephen was able to do that. And maybe a little
- 35:34Speaker 17: bit of a break away can get him even hungrier
- 35:37Speaker 17: to come back.
- 35:38Speaker 7: You had to make a roster move. So Petey helping
- 35:40Speaker 7: back to Columbus. Stuart Fairchild stays here. How do you
- 35:44Speaker 7: come upon a decision like that? What goes into all
- 35:47Speaker 7: of it, voter?
- 35:47Speaker 17: Well, there's a lot to it. But the main thing
- 35:49Speaker 17: was we really want Petey to go play. He needs
- 35:52Speaker 17: to go get at-bats today. Petey was unbelievable for us,
- 35:55Speaker 17: coming off the bench, playing defense. He got an occasional start,
- 35:58Speaker 17: and Petey's going to impact this team for a really
- 36:00Speaker 17: long time. But we want him to go get consistent
- 36:02Speaker 17: at bats because we know there's going to come a
- 36:04Speaker 17: point in time this year where Petey's going to get
- 36:06Speaker 17: his opportunity to play, and we want him to be
- 36:08Speaker 17: ready for it. So with keeping Stewart, it allows us
- 36:11Speaker 17: to have another right-handed bat, another really good center fielder,
- 36:15Speaker 17: but it gives us that other complimentary right-handed bat that
- 36:17Speaker 17: we've been desperately wanting.
- 36:19Speaker 7: That's Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt, Tom Hamilton, inviting you to

- 36:53Speaker 9: after 12 starts. 7-2, an earned run average of 1.50.
