- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day on this what day is this Tuesday?
- 0:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:07Speaker 1: Boy, this week is going by fast already. All right,
- 0:10Speaker 1: it's Tuesday, last break of the day. It's been a
- 0:13Speaker 1: good day. Thank you guys for listening. As always, Steve
- 0:16Speaker 1: clos us out you know.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Here's my closees remark. So, I was thinking about this
- 0:24Speaker 3: all week, along with so much that's going on in
- 0:26Speaker 3: the news, current events and things. And then I've listened
- 0:31Speaker 3: to so many people's opinions on so many different things.
- 0:34Speaker 3: But I wanted to remind everybody of something. And Bishop Bonner,
- 0:39Speaker 3: pastor in Atlanta, said something that I just heard him
- 0:43Speaker 3: say on one of his sermons I was scrolling through,
- 0:47Speaker 3: and it really has had a profound effect on my life.
- 0:51Speaker 3: And I'm paraphrasing it, but he says, be careful of
- 0:54Speaker 3: people who are always the victim of circumstance that they've
- 0:59Speaker 3: created themselves. And do you know how true that is?
- 1:05Speaker 3: Because all of us know someone who is always the victim,
- 1:11Speaker 3: but is from a circumstance that they created themselves. Like, man,
- 1:17Speaker 3: you clearly are not seeing that you are in this
- 1:19Speaker 3: position because of you. See, here's what we all have
- 1:26Speaker 3: to come to terms with. And this is what makes
- 1:28Speaker 3: life so crystal clear at times three things. All of
- 1:35Speaker 3: us have choices. Every day we are faced with a
- 1:41Speaker 3: different choice. And after you have this choice, the second
- 1:45Speaker 3: thing you have is a decision to make on which
- 1:49Speaker 3: to choose. God made us this way. We are really
- 1:54Speaker 3: the only species that he created this full power. He's
- 1:59Speaker 3: given us four authority of the choices and the decisions.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Now listen to me. Depending on the decision you make,
- 2:09Speaker 3: right or wrong, good or bad, negative or positive, whatever
- 2:13Speaker 3: decision you make about your choice, the third thing comes
- 2:17Speaker 3: into play, the consequences. So you see, it makes it
- 2:22Speaker 3: all on us. You can't have a choice. I give
- 2:26Speaker 3: you an example. You're in a relationship. You meet somebody.
- 2:32Speaker 3: You're trying to decide if you're gonna be with them
- 2:34Speaker 3: or give yourself to him. You decide, I'm gonna be
- 2:39Speaker 3: with him. I'm gonna give myself to him. Now you
- 2:43Speaker 3: get in this relationship and it goes bad. You're unhappy,
- 2:48Speaker 3: you're miserable. It's going all wrong. Now the first thing
- 2:56Speaker 3: you wanna do is.
- 2:57Speaker 2: They ain't this.
- 2:58Speaker 3: They ain't that they did away, they doing this. I
- 3:02Speaker 3: can't stand them. They there who whoa, WHOA. Let's back up.
- 3:06Speaker 3: In the beginning, you had a choice, and in that choice,
- 3:13Speaker 3: you made a decision to pick that person. And in
- 3:18Speaker 3: that picking that person, now you are inside of all
- 3:21Speaker 3: of the consequences.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You don't see yourself had a hand in that. M hmm.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You don't see that you picked this person. You don't
- 3:31Speaker 2: see that of the choices, this was the decision you made.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Maybe you need the decision too quickly.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I got a friend right now that's dealing with some
- 3:40Speaker 3: serious consequences because they made a decision too quickly.
- 3:44Speaker 2: And he, oh, it don't make no sense for him
- 3:46Speaker 2: to do this right here, but he just oh, I
- 3:49Speaker 2: went to college with this dude. This dude meets this
- 3:53Speaker 2: girl and within within two weeks.
- 3:59Speaker 3: They move in together. This fool is sixty nine years old.
- 4:06Speaker 3: He moved in with this woman after two weeks. Here's
- 4:11Speaker 3: a man that's been married and divorced before. After two weeks,
- 4:16Speaker 3: they move in within thirty days.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Thirty days, he mad, it's over. I want her out.
- 4:25Speaker 2: She won't leave.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I'm sick of her. I tried to help her and
- 4:31Speaker 3: give her none of Hey, bro bro bro bro bro bro.
- 4:35Speaker 3: So he calls me Hey, Steve, I know you got
- 4:38Speaker 3: that book and everything. This girl right here did this
- 4:41Speaker 3: and this. I said, Bro, why did you jump the
- 4:44Speaker 3: gun like that? You only knew her for two weeks. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 3: but she was cool. Everybody cool for two weeks. When
- 4:51Speaker 3: you meet a person in two weeks, you're not meeting
- 4:53Speaker 3: that person. You're meeting a representative. Everybody has a great representative.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I used to have one. Oh he was amazing, my representative.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Oh yes, Oh, this boy's out stunding. His nickname was Butterscotch.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I put butterscotch on you.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Smooth to the taste, easy man, Oh, conversation delicious, hard
- 5:21Speaker 2: to resist. And the more you kept that butter scotch
- 5:25Speaker 2: in your mouth, the smooth as it got. It didn't
- 5:27Speaker 2: even cut, it went down smooth. I was butterscotch. Well,
- 5:33Speaker 2: butterscotch got me in a lot of trouble.
- 5:37Speaker 3: See, butterscotch is a hard candy, and when you bite
- 5:41Speaker 3: down on it, it really ain't that smooth. Scrunchy cut
- 5:45Speaker 3: the roof of your mouth and everything. I made so
- 5:48Speaker 3: many decisions. But you can jump the gun with your decision.
- 5:52Speaker 3: But whenever you're dealing with the consequences, you gotta go
- 5:55Speaker 3: back to the choices that you had and the decision
- 5:58Speaker 3: that you made, because you are the only person that
- 6:02Speaker 3: you can correct.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You can't correct other people. So listen to me.
- 6:06Speaker 3: You all in this thing called life, always know that
- 6:11Speaker 3: the three things you had a hand in when you
- 6:14Speaker 3: saw the choice, you made, the decision, you got the consequences.
- 6:19Speaker 3: If you start looking at it like that, it'll cause
- 6:21Speaker 3: you to look at your choices different, make better decisions,
- 6:24Speaker 3: and end up with some different consequences. You can fix yourself,
- 6:27Speaker 3: but you can't fix nobody else. Those are my clothesing
- 6:30Speaker 3: remarks today. I hope you got something out of it. Hey,
- 6:33Speaker 3: listen to me. Here's the most important thing today. Y'all
- 6:36Speaker 3: talk to God today. He would absolutely love to hear
- 6:40Speaker 3: from it. He really would make it happen. Y'all have
