- 0:00Hello, good morning and welcome. This is
- 0:02International Flavor. You are listening
- 0:04to DAM Radio and I'm coming to you live
- 0:08from the Lake Ozark real estate of the
- 0:10art studio
- 0:12and uh the studio is a little bit in a
- 0:15turmoil this morning. Don't know what
- 0:17happened in here, but uh the there's
- 0:21some equipment unhooked and uh I'm not
- 0:24going to play with it because uh I don't
- 0:26want to dick it up any further than it
- 0:28already is. But there you have it. Um,
- 0:31good morning. Hope you had a good
- 0:33weekend. I have been in recovery and
- 0:36research mode all faring weekend long
- 0:42and I had a uh good time doing it. I
- 0:46must say actually I was uh recovering
- 0:49been sick but I have been in research
- 0:52and uh strategy mode and uh was able to
- 0:56get a bunch of computer work done. Life
- 0:58is uh generally good. Still under the
- 1:02weather. I don't know what's going on.
- 1:03Must be the constant changes. Uh having
- 1:08been mostly in Florida the last several
- 1:10years, the temperatur basically always
- 1:13the same down there. Uh sometimes it
- 1:16gets a little warmer, but it's always
- 1:18warm here. You can't figure out if it's
- 1:21going to be a 65 degree day or a 12°ree
- 1:24day and you freeze your left one off
- 1:27every time you go outside. Then the next
- 1:29day it's hot and or very very uh warm.
- 1:34Anyway,
- 1:35anyway, it gets a little frustrating and
- 1:37maybe that's part of the uh thing with
- 1:40my uh my getting colds so often lately
- 1:44following a couple of home remedies from
- 1:46my sister. God lover giving me some good
- 1:50information on uh how to uh get and stay
- 1:54relatively healthy. Although I've never
- 1:57been really a huge unhealthy person. I
- 2:00drink my share of coffee and uh
- 2:03unfortunately have a few vices like uh
- 2:07juju bees and stuff like that every now
- 2:09and again. But uh you know other than
- 2:12that I'm fairly uh healthy. And then you
- 2:15know but coffee got to have your coffee
- 2:17every morning. Sip along now
- 2:23that's good coffee. So uh that is good
- 2:27stuff Maynard. Um [snorts]
- 2:30over the weekend I've been paying
- 2:32attention a little bit to the escalation
- 2:36of various things going on and
- 2:42I don't like this occupation discussion
- 2:45they are talking about with Greenland.
- 2:47There's many of the international things
- 2:50I just don't like. And uh
- 2:55the ultimatums from um
- 2:59Trump going on and now he's making no um
- 3:04no bones about it. He's he's he's
- 3:07definitely become the wartime president
- 3:10and he going to create his own wars.
- 3:13I'll just Well, I'm doing it. Basically,
- 3:16I heard him over the weekend, and I
- 3:18don't mean to laugh about it cuz this
- 3:20isn't funny, people. He's like, "Ah, we
- 3:22need Greenland." So, either you're going
- 3:24to get, but either way, we're taking it
- 3:27basically. It's like,
- 3:30uh, you don't know whe I mean, you never
- 3:32know whether obviously he's not joking
- 3:35and and that's the horror story of it
- 3:37all. Um, and, uh, you know, his his
- 3:42latest uh, get this. He says he wants to
- 3:46save Greenland from Russia and China. He
- 3:50doesn't want Russia and China as
- 3:52neighbors. Uh you know he kind of forgot
- 3:54that Russia is already our neighbor. You
- 3:57know we were talking not even a couple
- 3:59of months ago after well I suppose it
- 4:02was about five six months ago now uh
- 4:04after the uh the summit in Alaska. We're
- 4:08talking about uh and there was not just
- 4:11me but there were other people talking
- 4:12about building a uh tunnel/bridgeidge
- 4:16system on the bearing straight between
- 4:19uh Kamchatka and uh uh
- 4:23uh Alaska, you know, the the Juno part,
- 4:26the Tarmaggan arm there that comes down
- 4:28and uh uh that's what they were gonna um
- 4:33they were actually discussing. There's
- 4:35been plans along al along those lines
- 4:37for for not plans but uh drawings and
- 4:40ideas of that kind for quite a few years
- 4:44and uh you know obviously uh not going
- 4:47to happen but um
- 4:50uh rather entertaining you know to say
- 4:54the least and um what what this guy is
- 4:58[laughter] what this guy is doing and
- 5:01now he says well we're going to take
- 5:03Greenland over the
- 5:05Yeah, we're going to take Greenland. Uh
- 5:07he said on Sunday that Denmark's
- 5:09defenses are two dog sleds. He goes
- 5:14Greenland, what are they going to do?
- 5:15Fight me with their two dog sleds? You
- 5:18know, I I don't have the quote pulled
- 5:19up, but but he uh uh is renewing his
- 5:23push for uh NATO to uh give up. Well,
- 5:27what about Greenland? Nobody's talking
- 5:29about Greenland, you know, and what they
- 5:32want. and Greenland has been pretty
- 5:33clear they don't want, you know, to be,
- 5:37you know, 51st state or whatever for the
- 5:39United States. And Venezuela has been
- 5:42fairly clear, you know, a a a decent
- 5:46majority of them have been fairly clear
- 5:48that they're not interested in US uh
- 5:51colonization either. So, Greenland
- 5:54doesn't want to be a colony. Venezuela
- 5:57doesn't want to be a colony. Uh where
- 6:00else was he planning on going? Uh Cuba
- 6:03doesn't want to be a colony, you know,
- 6:05and and Trump, he don't care. He's Well,
- 6:08forget it. I'm taking him. That's that.
- 6:10And uh now he wants to take Iran, too.
- 6:13Um you know, he's going to have he he's
- 6:15going to have all kinds of fun. Um so
- 6:18Greenland, basically their defense is to
- 6:20dog sleds. He said, "In the meantime,
- 6:23you have Russian destroyers and
- 6:25submarines and China destroyers and
- 6:27submarines all over the place. We're not
- 6:30going to let that happen."
- 6:33I don't know what he means by all over
- 6:35the place. What do we have all over the
- 6:38place? We have destroyers and submarines
- 6:42all over the place.
- 6:44uh you know why why why would China
- 6:47which is I don't know how many times our
- 6:51size uh 1.4 for four three billion
- 6:56people makes them about what five times
- 7:01our size or six
- 7:03um populationwise
- 7:07and uh uh you know we're not going to
- 7:10let that happen and since the 19th
- 7:14century a number of officials US have
- 7:17argued that the Arctic Island which
- 7:19hosts a military base already for the
- 7:22United states should become American
- 7:25territory. And after Trump reiterated
- 7:27his interest in acquiring Greenland
- 7:29early in his second term, he calls it on
- 7:32national security. It's always it's
- 7:34always for everything. National
- 7:36security. Copenagen said it would
- 7:38bolster its defenses by adding dog sled
- 7:41patrols and purchasing two more Arctic
- 7:44inspection vessels to supplement
- 7:46Greenland's aging fleet of four. Hm.
- 7:52Media reports at the time noted that
- 7:55there were 12 dog sled units in the
- 7:57autonomous Danish territory is ice
- 8:00covered with settlements and
- 8:01infrastructure mostly confined to the
- 8:03coast and the Nordic nations have
- 8:07dismissed Trump's claim about Russian
- 8:09and Chinese threats to Greenland. Well,
- 8:11I do too. I do. That's completely false.
- 8:14It's nonsense. saying that no military
- 8:17activity has been detected in the area
- 8:19in years, said the Financial Times on
- 8:22Sunday. It's simply not true that the
- 8:26Chinese and the Russians are anywhere
- 8:29near there. Now, I added the anywhere
- 8:31near, but the report is there. I have
- 8:34seen the intelligence. No ships, no
- 8:37submarines, a senior European diplomat
- 8:40told the newspaper. And earlier this
- 8:42month, the US military raided Venezuela
- 8:46to kidnap President Maduro. And
- 8:50according to Trump, you're not supposed
- 8:51to use the word kidnap, by the way.
- 8:53We're supposed to use the word captured.
- 8:56According to Trump, the operation was
- 8:59partly intended to reinforce
- 9:02Washington's hegemony
- 9:04in the Western Hemisphere and to counter
- 9:08Russian and Chinese influence in South
- 9:10America. So now all of this everything
- 9:14he does now is to uh now he's remember
- 9:18I've been talking for a long time that
- 9:20the US I don't want to say decline but
- 9:23parity is is coming
- 9:26equal nations are you know are some are
- 9:30more equal than others uh you know like
- 9:32just like in George Orwell's 1984
- 9:36some people are more equal some pigs are
- 9:38more equal than other pigs uh But you
- 9:41can say that America is more equal uh
- 9:45than Russia or China when it comes to
- 9:47being a country and uh you know
- 9:50certainly in enforcing rules or creating
- 9:54their own rules. China and Russia aren't
- 9:57allowed to create their own rules. India
- 9:59god forbid create its own rules but the
- 10:02US will create its own rules and there's
- 10:06nobody
- 10:08going to stop them. Uh [snorts] because
- 10:11why the rules do not apply to us? Our
- 10:16government doesn't follow the rules and
- 10:21why should they? We are special. We have
- 10:25predetermined that we are special and so
- 10:29therefore we are right. [snorts]
- 10:33Silence. I don't know if I can take
- 10:34phone calls. Like I said there the the
- 10:36the headphones aren't hooked up. I don't
- 10:39know what's going on in here this
- 10:40morning, but nothing is hooked up and I
- 10:42don't want to mess anything up. So, I
- 10:44ain't going to dink with it and put them
- 10:45back on. So, if you're going to call,
- 10:48don't cuz uh I can't answer anyway. Or
- 10:51if I do, maybe it'll just be loud in the
- 10:53studio. I have no idea. But uh uh at any
- 10:56rate, um we're experiencing all kind of
- 10:59problems this morning.
- 11:01Um,
- 11:03however,
- 11:04Trump's
- 11:06war chants, his his war dances, uh, you
- 11:10know, are causing waves in quite a few
- 11:15places.
- 11:17Um,
- 11:19including in Iran. Okay. Uh, I don't
- 11:23know what his plans are for for starting
- 11:26war all over the country. We know
- 11:29Lindsey Graham's out beating the war
- 11:31drums. He ought to be um you know
- 11:33throwing on a headdress and dancing
- 11:35around a fire and having people beating
- 11:38the drum like normal. Um but Iran
- 11:43yesterday or was it over the weekend?
- 11:46Could have been Saturday. They will
- 11:47conduct preemptive strikes on the US and
- 11:50Israel if they detect an attack. Uh this
- 11:54was from an Iranian parliamentary
- 11:56speaker named Muhammad Bagger Galibbaf.
- 12:01Galibbah.
- 12:02Uh the warning comes after President
- 12:04Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin
- 12:07Netanyahu expressed support for the
- 12:09protest in Iranian cities triggered by
- 12:12inflation and economics. Let those who
- 12:16threaten Iran be warned. Any attack on
- 12:19Iran will make both occupied
- 12:21territories, all military centers and
- 12:24bases, and American ships in the region
- 12:28legitimate targets. Galibbuff said on
- 12:31Saturday, "We do not limit ourselves to
- 12:33responding only after an attack and will
- 12:37act based on objective signs of a threat
- 12:40so that no one makes miscalculations
- 12:43that will lead them to disaster," he
- 12:46said.
- 12:47Trump has said the US would help
- 12:50protesters if the government continues
- 12:52to crack down on riots that are sweeping
- 12:55the country. You better not start
- 12:58shooting cuz we will start shooting too.
- 13:01He said Netanyahu is also supporting the
- 13:06protesters
- 13:07and according to the New York Times,
- 13:10Trump has been briefed on the military
- 13:13options. Of course. And Trump, you know,
- 13:16he's a wartime president. This peace
- 13:18peace. I want peace. I want peace. Don't
- 13:20believe it cuz uh he is talking war. And
- 13:24uh that is where he is pushing. He he
- 13:26again was talking about we're going to
- 13:28be in charge of Venezuela for a while
- 13:30and we're stealing their oil and we
- 13:32aren't even paying for it. He just
- 13:34they're giving it to us. [laughter]
- 13:37We're taking it. That's that. We're
- 13:40we're taking the oil. They're giving us
- 13:43whatever it was 50 bill 30 to 50 million
- 13:45barrels or something that they're just
- 13:47handing over. Oh, gee, thanks. Um,
- 13:50[snorts] and he was briefed on military
- 13:53options, including strikes on
- 13:54non-military targets in Thran.
- 13:58But no final decision has been made. The
- 14:01US and Israel struck last in June of
- 14:032025 and targeted military sites and
- 14:06nuclear facilities. And the worst uh
- 14:08unrest in recent recent years erupted
- 14:11across Iran in late December.
- 14:14And there have been pretty high
- 14:15increases in food prices and protests
- 14:19and attacks on government buildings.
- 14:21More than 200 people have been killed.
- 14:24Uh Iran's news agency reported that
- 14:27rioters killed 25 civilians and six
- 14:30security personnel. And so, who knows
- 14:35what we're going to uh
- 14:38uh
- 14:40figure out.
- 14:41So
- 14:43the British government, they agreed
- 14:46recently to pay out a substantial sum to
- 14:51settle a lawsuit over its intelligence
- 14:54services role in the torture of a terror
- 14:59suspect who is indefinitely detained by
- 15:02the United States. So, this is one of
- 15:05those guys that we just detain
- 15:08and uh a guy named Abu Zaba who George
- 15:12Bush once claimed was a senior al-Qaeda
- 15:15figure. He has been held, get this, this
- 15:19is nonsense, people, he has been held
- 15:22without a trial in US custody, including
- 15:25at a military base in Guantanamo, Cuba
- 15:28since he was captured in 2002.
- 15:33and the UK has agreed to settle a civil
- 15:36case that accused British intelligence
- 15:38of supplying questions to American
- 15:40interrogators despite knowing that
- 15:43Zabida was being mistreated, his legal
- 15:45team said Monday. born Zane al-Aid
- 15:49Muhammad Hussein Zabayida
- 15:5354. He was a Saudibborn Palestinian
- 15:57citizen who fought in the USbacked
- 16:00antis-siet insurgency in Afghanistan in
- 16:04the 80s. He was captured in Pakistan in
- 16:07March 20 or 2002
- 16:10and he spent four years in CIA black
- 16:13sites, secret detention facilities in
- 16:16foreign countries used for what the Bush
- 16:19administration called enhanced
- 16:21interrogation.
- 16:23US officials described him as a guinea
- 16:25pig for the widely criticized program,
- 16:28though later retracted claims about his
- 16:31highle role in al-Qaeda. He was
- 16:33transferred to Guantanamo in 2006.
- 16:37So allegedly suffered more abuse there
- 16:40and is now one of its forever prisoners
- 16:43whom the US justice system refuses to
- 16:46either charge or release. He previously
- 16:50sued Poland and Lithuania for hosting
- 16:53American black sites. The US has
- 16:56declined to comment on the settlement
- 16:58due to its sensitive nature. And
- 17:00international lawyer Helen Duffy has
- 17:03represented Zabida since 2008
- 17:06said that she is hopeful that the
- 17:10payment of the sum will enable him to do
- 17:12that and support himself when he's on
- 17:14the outside world. However, that his
- 17:18proposed release depends on the US and
- 17:21it's goodwill. They're just holding the
- 17:23guy forever. Now, I'm very much against
- 17:26that as well. either charge him with
- 17:29something or get rid of him. And uh you
- 17:32know uh oh wait a minute, hold on.
- 17:38Uh total of 26 piece you know they shut
- 17:42down in ' 09. When Well, is that a old
- 17:46article that I was reading? I don't
- 17:48think so.
- 17:50I I don't think so. Let's see. Hold on.
- 17:57No, that was uh the payment was that one
- 18:01was was brand new and it says he's still
- 18:04being held, but I'm I'm not positive of
- 18:06that. Maybe he was released. Um that
- 18:09could be in incorrect uh part on there
- 18:13cuz there's another article that says a
- 18:14number of them were released, but that's
- 18:16an old article, so I don't know. Um,
- 18:19other important news, an F-16 was shot
- 18:23down
- 18:24in Ukraine according to a Russian
- 18:27commander. [snorts] Um, I saw an
- 18:29interesting YouTube video yesterday. I
- 18:31don't know if it was um you know it
- 18:34wasn't a I didn't appear to be I
- 18:36generated but I suppose it could have
- 18:38been that showed a uh new sue 57
- 18:42uh within gez almost touching distance
- 18:46of a US uh US warship flew in between a
- 18:51couple of them and uh wow that was uh
- 18:54unbelievable but now a Russian commander
- 18:58has said his S300 air defense battery
- 19:01shot down a US-made F-16 fighter
- 19:04operated in Ukraine. In an interview
- 19:07aired on Russia one TV Sunday. The
- 19:11commander who was identified by the call
- 19:13sign uh told journalist Vladimir Soliv
- 19:17that the US aircraft was an interesting
- 19:20target. He said the battery fired two
- 19:22missiles at the F-16. The first one
- 19:25damaged it, the second one delivered the
- 19:27final blow. And it took a lot of time to
- 19:29prepare the operation. They were
- 19:31tracking it and anticipating it. Enemy
- 19:34said that these planes are
- 19:35indestructible. And as it turns out,
- 19:37they fall out of the sky just like the
- 19:39rest. Um, so they didn't say exactly the
- 19:44day on that, but
- 19:47Kiev has allegedly received 44 of 87
- 19:50jets of the F-16 variety promised by the
- 19:54uh Europe Europeans.
- 19:58So there you have it. Um there's been a
- 20:01lot of bombing
- 20:04of Ukraine. Uh and over the weekend,
- 20:08excuse me, there was an interesting
- 20:10article that I [snorts] watched that I
- 20:13really should share a little bit of it
- 20:15with you. And I uh uh if I can pull it
- 20:18up, I I I think I will because it was uh
- 20:23talking about the Orchnic missile. And
- 20:26if you remember uh some time ago I gave
- 20:30a um a bit of a detail on ornik which
- 20:33which means hazelnut. Um and it's a
- 20:38missile that hypersonic
- 20:42non-trackable basically. Well they can
- 20:45track it but they can't can't keep up
- 20:47with it. Goes between Mach 9 and Mach
- 20:5011. The Ukrainians said they tracked it
- 20:53at at at Mach 10.2. two or something
- 20:56like that from last year and a new one
- 21:00uh hit inside Nepro and Nepro Petros
- 21:05where the Neper River is and another one
- 21:08went you know um
- 21:12they had several strikes and the
- 21:14Arashnik if you recall is a hypersonic
- 21:19nuclearcapable
- 21:21um non-balistic but attractable missile
- 21:25But it's a missile that uh can hug the
- 21:30ground and it also is it has an an arc
- 21:36that comes in uh if you if you could
- 21:39shoot I mean if you do shoot it it's
- 21:40hypersonic so it can go up and it can be
- 21:42a ballistic as well and so it goes up
- 21:45really high in the ballistic and then it
- 21:46comes down and it has more of a a direct
- 21:49trajectory toward the ground and uh it
- 21:52has inside it it has six separate
- 21:59inside the major canister which is about
- 22:01a meter and a half wide. It has another
- 22:05set of stacked three sets each and uh so
- 22:11six canisters of
- 22:14smaller warheads and each warhead
- 22:18canister has another six inside of
- 22:21there. So you basically have 36
- 22:26uh missile warheads, I suppose you would
- 22:29call them, that can come down at the
- 22:32same that come down at the same time and
- 22:36virtually
- 22:38un unstoppable. Uh there's no defensive,
- 22:41you know, uh air defense mechanisms
- 22:44cannot catch them. And uh they used it
- 22:47some more in the Nepro over the weekend.
- 22:50Um all the talk is starting to uh
- 22:54I don't know what have its consequences
- 22:57I think and uh is what I think and the
- 23:00escalation is and by the way the front
- 23:03is still moving steadily to the west uh
- 23:06and Russia is pushing and the the line
- 23:10is still progressing faster and faster
- 23:14toward the west and Russia used this
- 23:18archnic and I watched a uh a pretty good
- 23:24um well to me it's interesting though um
- 23:27I watched a pretty good uh YouTube video
- 23:32about the oresnik
- 23:36and there's
- 23:39uh let's see if I can find it for you
- 23:41because I did want to share a little bit
- 23:43of it with you because this guy was an
- 23:46interesting dude. if I can get there to
- 23:49him.
- 23:51Um,
- 23:53let's see.
- 23:55Rashnik number two. And there's plenty
- 23:58of uh
- 24:00Yeah, this is him. The guy's name is uh
- 24:03he's an MIT professor and his name is is
- 24:08uh Ted
- 24:11Pastel or Postl if I'm pronouncing it
- 24:15correctly. and he uh he gives a very
- 24:19interesting and he's talking on the show
- 24:22of Daniel Davis and I don't know if
- 24:25you've watched Daniel Davis in his deep
- 24:27dives but he's he's pretty interesting
- 24:31and you can follow the oresnik
- 24:35with him [snorts] and uh Daniel Davis is
- 24:38uh his his show advertises him
- 24:42as a fourtime combat deployed he's a
- 24:45bronze Star Medal of Valor in Iraq and a
- 24:48Bronstar service in Afghanistan [snorts]
- 24:52and uh he has his own podcast and uh uh
- 24:57or YouTube channel and [snorts] he's
- 25:00he's he's
- 25:02got a very interesting guy and uh this
- 25:05this Ted Postel P O S T O L uh he gives
- 25:11a bit of a class on it and I wanted to
- 25:14share a little bit of it with you. And
- 25:19uh it um they talked about the new
- 25:22archnik. He I mean he does he does a lot
- 25:24of shows um
- 25:27does Daniel Davis and so I don't watch
- 25:31enough of them but he also had Alexander
- 25:34Morulis on the guy from England who uh
- 25:38uh I interviewed with when I was over in
- 25:40Kazan and that's a very interesting one
- 25:42too that they both talk about it and uh
- 25:45they they live this stuff
- 25:48and they uh this is what they they do
- 25:52and They're they're very good at it and
- 25:54quite interesting. I think I will share
- 25:56with you a little bit of at least the
- 25:59beginning of of what he said. I don't
- 26:02have any headphones so I can't hear it
- 26:05unless I play it. Um so I will uh I will
- 26:10listen along with you and uh see where
- 26:13we're going to go. Um here we go.
- 26:15authorized the launching of a new type
- 26:17of weapon system, an intermediate range
- 26:19ballistic missile called the Orreshnik,
- 26:21which has now been dominating a lot of
- 26:23the the news out there. A lot of people
- 26:25uh both inside Russia and outside and in
- 26:27the West and in the United States are
- 26:29all trying to figure out exactly what
- 26:31this weapon is and what it can do. We we
- 26:33had uh Professor Ted Puler from MIT on
- 26:36uh shortly after the I think like right
- 26:38after the the day after to give us an
- 26:40initial assessment of what these
- 26:42missiles might be like and what their
- 26:44capabilities are etc. Uh, and now then
- 26:46in your intervening time, we've had a
- 26:48little bit more time to analyze this.
- 26:50And so, we have some new ideas about
- 26:52what this thing may be. And we have Ted
- 26:55back on with us today very graciously uh
- 26:57to give us an update on what some of
- 26:59this and uh we're going to look at this
- 27:00in light of some of the claims that have
- 27:02been made since you were actually on.
- 27:04And we'll uh examine those in some
- 27:06detail. But first of all, uh, Professor,
- 27:08welcome back to the show as always.
- 27:09>> Well, it's a great pleasure to be here
- 27:11as always.
- 27:12Well, listen, we we are we are always uh
- 27:14eager to have you on anyway because you
- 27:16can provide some clarity and at least
- 27:18some some knowledge as opposed to just
- 27:20some uh opinions that a lot of people
- 27:22are passing without much knowledge uh
- 27:24which is a a welcome change to to the
- 27:27mainstream narrative. Uh but uh before
- 27:29we get into your presentation, I want to
- 27:31kind of get a running start by showing
- 27:33you what some people some key people are
- 27:35actually saying about this. First of
- 27:37all, one of the claims that Putin is
- 27:39making is that this is a missile that
- 27:41cannot be intercepted by current
- 27:43technology.
- 28:10Well, I don't know why this part is on
- 28:11there. Sorry about that. I meant to
- 28:13speed that up. I can't hear it in
- 28:15advance. So, I'm going to skip past him
- 28:17a little bit
- 28:19>> and get back to where the guy is.
- 28:24>> And it's not really as bad as what he
- 28:26said. According to Forbes in there,
- 28:27they're saying that um it's basically
- 28:29the equivalent destructive power of a
- 28:322,000lb bomb, which is, you know, it's
- 28:34not small, but it's not that big a deal.
- 28:36It's not all that accurate. So, really,
- 28:37we don't need to worry about it. So, we
- 28:39want to know, what is the truth? Is
- 28:41Putin right? Is Forbes right? Or is the
- 28:43truth somewhere in between as far as you
- 28:45can tell?
- 28:47>> Well, uh it's uh
- 28:52uh there's been a lot of uh claims made
- 28:54on all sides. Um,
- 28:56but I would say that the uh uh I have
- 29:00some guesses at the payload capability
- 29:03of the missile, which could be between
- 29:06uh 6,000 and 9,000 lbs of total throw
- 29:10weight. What throw weight is what the
- 29:12the missile can lift and throw onto a
- 29:15trajectory. It it is definitely not a
- 29:20boost glide vehicle. By that I mean it
- 29:24is not a the rocket motor that launches
- 29:28it toward the target places the
- 29:32trajectory on a classical ballistic
- 29:34trajectory. I'll show you what those
- 29:35trajectories look like. It's what's
- 29:38called a very lofted trajectory because
- 29:40it has a very steep re-entry uh angle at
- 29:44the target area. And um the the kinetic
- 29:49energy of the incoming munitions
- 29:53because they come in so fast uh gets
- 29:56converted to heat when they hit the
- 29:59ground. And uh and and that heat uh
- 30:03causes the um the munition to literally
- 30:06turn into a molten metal and vaporize.
- 30:10And the vaporiz the vapors of course
- 30:12expand violently much like the vapors in
- 30:16a in a high explosive and they create uh
- 30:20an explosion effect. The explosion
- 30:23effect though is comparable to the
- 30:26weight of the munition in TNT given the
- 30:29speed. It might be one and a half times
- 30:32the weight of the munition or it might
- 30:35be around one times the weight of the
- 30:37munition depending on the actual speed
- 30:39of impact. But the speed of impact is um
- 30:42uh is is between three and three and a
- 30:46half kilometers per second. that is to
- 30:48say, between Mach 9 and Mach 11, close
- 30:53to there. And um uh and the munition
- 30:58weighs itself between 100 and 150
- 31:00pounds. So it's like being hit with an
- 31:05explosive uh that's equivalent to about
- 31:07100 150 lbs. Uh the munition probably
- 31:12buries itself
- 31:14into the surface a bit. By a bit I mean
- 31:17a meter or two. Not this is not
- 31:20penetrating through a big you know deep
- 31:23into the ground and in the process in
- 31:26the process of penetrating into the
- 31:28ground a meter or two and of course
- 31:31becoming vaporized
- 31:34uh it produces a crater and the crater
- 31:37is a little bit larger than what the
- 31:40equivalent uh TNT [clears throat] on the
- 31:42surface would produce but the shock wave
- 31:45in the air is a little bit diminished.
- 31:48But still significant.
- 31:50So um so so you have the equivalent of
- 31:55um uh 66 we know there were 66
- 31:58munitions. We know that for sure. I
- 32:00could show you data for that.
- 32:02>> Okay.
- 32:02>> And um and we um and each of the
- 32:06munitions delivers 150 pounds of um of
- 32:12explosive yield comparable to TNT.
- 32:15So the the explosive yield of the total
- 32:20payload was between 6,000 and uh 7,000
- 32:25and 10,000 pounds of TNT spread over a
- 32:29significant area though because the
- 32:31munitions fell
- 32:33uh in in clusters about roughly 800
- 32:36meters to a kilometers long to a
- 32:39kilometer long. So the the munitions
- 32:42fell in a spread which is not a surprise
- 32:44since they were uh um they were released
- 32:47from six separate canisters. So we have
- 32:51a very rough picture.
- 32:55The exact details we don't know but I
- 32:59believe at this point I could be wrong
- 33:01and I I'll be happy to tell your
- 33:03audience I'm wrong as we get to know
- 33:06more. Uh but I could be wrong. But I
- 33:09believe now that uh we have a good basic
- 33:14uh design picture, conceptual design
- 33:17picture of this weapon and um and the uh
- 33:23the conceptual design is u uh the
- 33:29details of the conceptual design given a
- 33:32concept of the design of it and showing
- 33:35showing some slides of it and
- 33:38>> [gasps]
- 33:39>> I you know what I think I'm going to do
- 33:41since there were some new archnik
- 33:43strikes over the over the weekend that I
- 33:46wanted to talk about and a couple of
- 33:48other things. This um archnic strikes
- 33:52shows the inside and he has one says
- 33:54it's a uh six tubes of six different
- 33:59uh gas supply modes or whatever the the
- 34:03fuel is the ignition fuel that goes in
- 34:06that push them out. and he wasn't he he
- 34:08does doesn't know what that is. They
- 34:10showed some uh some remains of what uh
- 34:13they had collected from the crash site
- 34:16or from the impact site of these weapons
- 34:19and where they uh and where they hit and
- 34:22what they did. And it's uh it's now of
- 34:25course that's quite interesting to me to
- 34:28check these things out because I'm
- 34:29interested in the archnic and the
- 34:31ballistic capabilities of it and the
- 34:33non-ballistic capabilities because the
- 34:35Russians claim to have that loitering
- 34:38munition as well. the one that they
- 34:40shoot from their uh uh I forget what
- 34:43that one was called uh that they shoot
- 34:45from the u from the ships that has the
- 34:48nuclear
- 34:50uh power portion that that part can
- 34:53linger and can hover for a good long
- 34:56time uh with virtually unlimited amount
- 35:00of uh of
- 35:04tracking like an unlimited missile. They
- 35:07said it was tracking for more than 15
- 35:10hours when I did that uh last week. So,
- 35:13or last month, I mean, and there are
- 35:15plenty of uh you know, plenty of people
- 35:18talking about those two missiles. And
- 35:20over the weekend, there was a uh more
- 35:24strikes. Where is the ornik
- 35:29uh that they have been talking about
- 35:31too? [snorts] and
- 35:34said that it hit a place where
- 35:39uh
- 35:41in 3 days ago they said that the struck
- 35:45back uh after you know the the Putin
- 35:49residence and this had they say they hit
- 35:53in u
- 35:55an an airplane facility where they were
- 35:58storing uh F-16s and um airplane parts
- 36:03and manufacturing
- 36:05apparatus and all of this for for air
- 36:09air airpl air airplanes, military
- 36:11aircraft. And so that uh has been pretty
- 36:17um
- 36:19pretty big news over the weekend is the
- 36:22Arashnik
- 36:23and I think that uh Russia is here
- 36:29here's the the story is actually came
- 36:31out let's see here
- 36:35disabled a Ukrainian war plane plant is
- 36:40what they say and it was in a viv
- 36:42and uh services F-16s and MIG 29s and
- 36:47produces drones is what they say. So the
- 36:51Russian strike that used the Archnik
- 36:54last week disabled a Ukrainian aviation
- 36:57plant repairing and servicing war
- 36:59plananes and producing long range
- 37:02drones. In a statement on Monday, the
- 37:06ministry said,
- 37:08citing several independent sources, that
- 37:10the attack hit a facility which
- 37:12supported the operations of Ukrainian
- 37:15Soviet air war planes as well as western
- 37:18supplied F-16s and and uh they these
- 37:22drones were used for strikes against
- 37:24Russian civilian targets deep inside the
- 37:26territory of the Russian Federation.
- 37:29Uh they said it was a production
- 37:31workshop storage facility that held
- 37:34finished drones and infrastructure at
- 37:37the plant's airfield. Uh they note that
- 37:40the same attack involved Iscander and
- 37:42Calibra missiles uh as well. Uh some of
- 37:47the projectiles also hit energy
- 37:49infrastructure. Uh Kiev does has not
- 37:52commented on the scope of the damage,
- 37:54but the mayor of Olviv, Andre Sadovoy,
- 37:59uh confirmed that a piece of critical
- 38:01infrastructure had been hit. And last
- 38:04week, Moscow said the bombardment was in
- 38:06response to an attempted terrorist
- 38:09attack on the residents of the Russian
- 38:12prime minister uh uh Russian president,
- 38:16I mean, Putin in Nokurat.
- 38:19and um Ukraine launched 91 drones toward
- 38:23his house.
- 38:25So, I don't know. There's been a lot of
- 38:27discussion on this, but uh the right now
- 38:30the whole world in my opinion is a bit
- 38:33of a mess on uh uh because of what we're
- 38:37doing and uh there's been so much um bad
- 38:42commentary everywhere in the world over
- 38:45what uh Trump is doing,
- 38:48including amongst uh [gasps and sighs]
- 38:52European
- 38:54uh so-called allies. eyes as well. And
- 38:58uh you know, he's I I think he's um you
- 39:02know, I I would say something like gone
- 39:04off the deep end, but I think this is
- 39:06truly planned. And uh he now is telling
- 39:10Cuba to act before it's too late was
- 39:15what he said uh most recently. Um he
- 39:18said that Cuba is no longer going to
- 39:21receive Venezuelan oil or money. and he
- 39:25warned the island to make a deal with
- 39:27Washington before it's too late.
- 39:30And uh Cuba is a close ally of Venezuela
- 39:35and a beneficiary of its oil has seen
- 39:38supplies dry up since January. Shipping
- 39:42data show no crude cargos have left
- 39:45Venezuela for the island since Nicholas
- 39:47Maduro was kidnapped by American forces.
- 39:53um because the US oil blockade has uh
- 39:56halted those deliveries. And so Trump
- 39:59says to puts on True Social where he
- 40:01puts everything. Uh there will be no
- 40:04more oil or money going to Cuba. Zero.
- 40:08Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday that
- 40:12Cuba lived for many years on large
- 40:14amounts of all caps oil and all caps
- 40:18money from Venezuela. I strongly suggest
- 40:21they make a deal all caps again before
- 40:24it's too late. He added, "People say
- 40:27you're not supposed to use u caps when
- 40:30you're use typing on social media
- 40:32because that means you're yelling at
- 40:34people." Uh, dozens of Venezuelan and
- 40:37Cuban security personnel were killed in
- 40:39the US raid this month after Trump said
- 40:42Cuba was ready to fall and cited the
- 40:45island's deep economic crisis and warned
- 40:48that Havana would struggle to endure
- 40:51without subsidized Venezuelan oil. And
- 40:55Cuban President Miguel Diaz Canal
- 40:57rejected Trump's threat, saying
- 40:59Washington has no moral authority to
- 41:02impose deals on Havana. Cuba is free,
- 41:05independent, and sovereign. Nobody
- 41:07dictates what we do. He wrote on X on
- 41:10Sunday. I guess everybody's using social
- 41:13media for their for their uh diplomacy,
- 41:18huh? And he added that the island had
- 41:20been under US attack for decades and
- 41:22will defend itself if necessary. Caracus
- 41:26and Washington are reportedly moving
- 41:28toward a $2 billion deal under which
- 41:31Venezuela will supply 50 million barrels
- 41:34of crude to the US with proceeds to be
- 41:38held in Treasury supervised accounts.
- 41:42I tell you what, we're [laughter] we're
- 41:44pretty open about our thievery. We're
- 41:47just taking it. That's it. And uh and
- 41:50and I just doesn't anyone question this?
- 41:54Does anyone It's It's pretty weird
- 41:57because if if Trump is doing this, this
- 41:59is this is all right. Well, why can't he
- 42:01supervise everything? I mean, why aren't
- 42:03we all basically just his his minions,
- 42:07you know, and and he he, you know, Papa
- 42:09Trump can do everything for the rest of
- 42:11the world? And I'm not, you know, I just
- 42:15am offended by this uh presumption all
- 42:19the way around that that we just get to
- 42:22tell people what to do. I just I it's
- 42:25it's unamerican. I mean, it really is
- 42:27and and I don't like it. [snorts] Senior
- 42:29Trump officials, including Marco Rubio,
- 42:33made clear they believe the US in
- 42:35intervention in Venezuela could push
- 42:38Cuba to the brink. American rhetoric
- 42:40toward Havana has sharpened in in recent
- 42:43weeks for sure, and the US has kept a
- 42:46comprehensive trade embargo on the
- 42:48Caribbean nation since the 60s. While
- 42:51Obama and Biden took steps to normalize
- 42:53relations, Trump reinstated Cuba on the
- 42:57US list of sponsors of terrorism.
- 43:00And uh you know that's how you justify
- 43:04uh being able to uh to uh
- 43:10attack them. And uh you know, you just
- 43:13justify Greenland by saying their
- 43:15defense is just two dog sleds. So why
- 43:18wouldn't we? You know, they only have
- 43:2070,000 people. Why wouldn't we just
- 43:23assimilate them? We're like the Borg
- 43:25Collective. You will be assimilated.
- 43:28[laughter] That's it. We're just You
- 43:31will be whether you want to or not, you
- 43:33will be assimilated
- 43:36and that's that. Um
- 43:39we we're
- 43:41[cough]
- 43:42[clears throat]
- 43:43we're definitely talking tough, aren't
- 43:46we?
- 43:48So, Ethiopia Ethiopia is building
- 43:51Africa's largest airport. If you didn't
- 43:54hear about that, this is a pretty big
- 43:57deal. They've [snorts] begun an
- 43:59international airport to open in 2030
- 44:02and it will be Africa's largest airport.
- 44:07Uh it'll be the largest aviation
- 44:10infrastructure project in African
- 44:12history. The first phase of the airport
- 44:15will handle 60 million passengers a year
- 44:20with an ultimate master plan capacity of
- 44:23110
- 44:25million passengers annually. Ultimately
- 44:30uh four runways, 270 aircraft which
- 44:34exceeds the capacity of the current main
- 44:37international airport at Adi Sababa
- 44:40Balle International with around 25
- 44:43million passengers a year and uh wow
- 44:47this is pretty cool. But the funding is
- 44:49coming from a mix of sources including
- 44:52Ethiopian Airlines, international
- 44:55financeers, the African Development
- 44:58Bank. According to the airlines
- 45:00infrastructure development and planning,
- 45:01Abraham
- 45:03uh Tesaya, the national character
- 45:06carrier
- 45:08will contribute 30% of the project cost.
- 45:12So these are uh several other large
- 45:14infrastructure and industrial
- 45:16initiatives launched in Ethiopia in
- 45:18recent months. It's pretty cool stuff uh
- 45:21that they are growing. Um
- 45:26I read a uh an article that um
- 45:34was published
- 45:37almost a week ago actually. That was uh
- 45:43an an opinion piece
- 45:46that was a pretty good a pretty good
- 45:49article, but it's pretty long.
- 45:52and they interviewed a bunch of people
- 45:56about
- 45:57um
- 45:59about
- 46:02the
- 46:03theater
- 46:05of the American
- 46:08uh kidnapping of Maduro
- 46:12and
- 46:14uh you know they go we go in in
- 46:15kidnapping and the and the title of the
- 46:18article is called it's the show was for
- 46:22everyone one, not just Latin America.
- 46:26And it's a a whole slew of Russian
- 46:29experts that assessed the Trump
- 46:32Venezuela
- 46:34uh you know, freak show and and what we
- 46:38did down there as a as a country. I
- 46:41mean, um,
- 46:44it's basically aimed at Latin America
- 46:49and trying to maintain, you know, like
- 46:52everyone knows, US hijgemony,
- 46:55uh, for another period of time, whether
- 46:58it's, you know, just another four years,
- 47:01maybe just a Trump administration, maybe
- 47:04for good. Um I do believe that Trump
- 47:07realized that uh or realizes as does his
- 47:10entire team that if uh we don't
- 47:15act now the
- 47:20the speed with which America
- 47:24becomes less influential
- 47:26will be quicker. So if you want America
- 47:31to still be
- 47:33top dog and and still have no rules that
- 47:36uh you know apply to us, we just apply
- 47:39them to everybody else. You have to
- 47:42continue to act in this way. So we have
- 47:44to be somewhat tyrannical in order to
- 47:48force the world to recognize that we're
- 47:50still in charge. And and that's what's
- 47:53happening is is the basics of all of
- 47:56this that uh you know we have to put
- 48:00people in their proper places. You know
- 48:02who's in charge and it's not you. And so
- 48:05we have to dictate that to people by
- 48:07picking on little guys. And uh we pick
- 48:10on the little guys, steal their stuff.
- 48:13And hopefully that gives the bigger guys
- 48:15the idea that you know we really don't
- 48:17want a world war right now.
- 48:20and uh you know we can't take them right
- 48:23now. So basically this is a buying time
- 48:28um effort by the Trump administration
- 48:33and uh it it was it was interesting.
- 48:36They interviewed a guy uh from the New
- 48:39York bureau um
- 48:44of of a international newspaper guy
- 48:46named Valentine Bdanov.
- 48:49Uh we interviewed him for a while.
- 48:52Anastasia Anastasia Gafarova who's a
- 48:55political analyst and a deputy director
- 48:58for the center of political information
- 49:01was interviewed. Maxim Suhov, the
- 49:03director of international and
- 49:04international studies at the uh Moscow
- 49:08State University was in there. Uh they
- 49:11interviewed Dimmitri Rosenthal, the
- 49:14director of the Institute of Latin
- 49:15America at the Russian Academy of
- 49:17Sciences. Fodder Lucanov, editor-inchief
- 49:20of Russian and global affairs. Timafi
- 49:24Bordachov, professor of the higher
- 49:26school of economics. Ivan Timv, program
- 49:29director at Valdai. Constantine
- 49:32Kasichov, deputy speaker of the
- 49:34Federation Council. And uh it's a very
- 49:37interesting article and um I I uh
- 49:42tend to agree with a a lot of the things
- 49:45in there. It was uh who's the guy that
- 49:48ended up written it writing it? Um it
- 49:52could have been written by a team of
- 49:54people because it doesn't have a major
- 49:57by line on there. Um
- 50:00and they just had no it doesn't have
- 50:02doesn't have a by line of who it was.
- 50:05[clears throat] And then uh but but you
- 50:08know I may share part of that with you
- 50:10on a few of the you know later today. We
- 50:13shall see um in today's show, but I
- 50:16wanted to get to uh the Ukraine
- 50:21war. Go back there just a little bit
- 50:23because uh Trump is now saying uh that
- 50:26Zalinski had no cards from day one.
- 50:29Yesterday I heard that we're coming up
- 50:31with that that you know since Trump is
- 50:34now a wartime president uh that he has
- 50:36come up with get this $800
- 50:41billion that they are supposed to meet
- 50:44and give $800 billion dollar of American
- 50:49money to [snorts] Ukraine. Uh and so
- 50:54Trump is, you know, I I think if this
- 50:57happens, he is fully behind the uh
- 51:02Lindsey Graham types of the world and uh
- 51:06fully with them if he gives this money,
- 51:09you know, for a losing effort. Um,
- 51:12Ukraine Zalinski, according to the this
- 51:15article, um, which was over the weekend,
- 51:18in fact, it was today, uh, Ukraine's
- 51:20Zalinski has no cards to negotiate peace
- 51:24with Russia, said Trump. He made the
- 51:27remarks at a New York Times interview
- 51:29released Sunday and discussed US
- 51:32mediation efforts. These include a
- 51:34leaked 28-point peace plan that we
- 51:37talked about extensively here
- 51:40envisioning Kiev seeding the remainder
- 51:42of the Dawnbass to Russia, renouncing
- 51:44its NATO ambition and capping its
- 51:47military. Now
- 51:50nobody is wants to force that anymore
- 51:53and all the talk has been you know
- 51:56crazy. The plan has been criticized by
- 51:58Kiev and Western backers and it was
- 52:01later cut to 20 points, but key issues
- 52:03remain unresolved with Zilinski
- 52:06reluctant uh to concede the territory.
- 52:10Um
- 52:12the interviewer said, "You famously sat
- 52:15in this room and told Zalinski, you
- 52:18don't have the cards," said the
- 52:20interviewer of Trump, referring to his
- 52:22White House spat with Ukrainian leader
- 52:24last year.
- 52:26He didn't have them then. Does he have
- 52:29them now? Was the question. He said,
- 52:32'Well, he doesn't have the cards, Trump
- 52:34replied. He didn't have them from day
- 52:37one. He's only got one thing. Donald
- 52:40Trump, [laughter]
- 52:44I you know, you can't make this stuff
- 52:47up. Donald Trump is, you know,
- 52:50everything
- 52:52res revolves around him. I created that.
- 52:55You know, remember Obama? I built that
- 52:57business. You know, I built it.
- 52:59Everything is Donald Trump. Well, this
- 53:01never I mean, how many times do we have
- 53:03to hear that this war never would have
- 53:05happened if I'd have been in office?
- 53:06Well, if it wasn't for Joe Biden, this
- 53:08wouldn't have happened if it wasn't that
- 53:10for that idiot that was running the
- 53:12country before. But now it's me, so
- 53:14everything is grand. I'm so tired of
- 53:16hearing that. Can we just talk about
- 53:19present issues without
- 53:22glorifying yourself and demonizing
- 53:24someone else? Please, I just want to
- 53:28talk about the issue. Leave the
- 53:30extraneous off. Please. And he
- 53:34cannot do it. He just cannot. And uh
- 53:37Trump insisted his mediation is crucial
- 53:40for the peace process. hasn't worked so
- 53:43far and claimed that it had helped
- 53:45prevent a far wider crisis. Really, what
- 53:48wider crisis has he prevented? The thing
- 53:52that would have been a total disaster,
- 53:54and Zilinski knows it, and the European
- 53:57leaders know it, if I wasn't involved,
- 54:00really, I think it would have evolved
- 54:02into a third world war. That won't
- 54:04happen anymore. Is that true? I'm not so
- 54:07positive of that either. He's he's
- 54:09pushing escalation everywhere.
- 54:12And uh I'm thinking that that there's
- 54:15more chance right now of their
- 54:18escalation in this in both on both sides
- 54:22pressed on the timelines for peace.
- 54:24Trump was of of course non-committal.
- 54:27Now before it was I could have that done
- 54:29in a day and uh he said we're doing the
- 54:32best we can now. I don't have a
- 54:34timeline.
- 54:36I just would like to see the war end,"
- 54:39he stated, adding that both President
- 54:42Vladimir Putin and Zalinski appear
- 54:44willing to settle, but we'll find out.
- 54:48Last month, Trump met Zalinsky in Miami
- 54:50and said a peace deal was 95% ready.
- 54:55Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Pescov later
- 54:58uh echoed that assessment.
- 55:01Um,
- 55:02however, KI and its backers from the
- 55:04so-called coalition of the willing,
- 55:08a group of western states pushing
- 55:10continued support for Ukraine have since
- 55:12agreed to deploy troops to the country
- 55:15as a post deal security guarantee, which
- 55:18Russia will never go for. Despite
- 55:21Russia's repeated rejection of foreign
- 55:23forces near its borders, US Envoy Steve
- 55:26Whit did not confirm any American role
- 55:30and Trump previously ruled out US troops
- 55:32in Ukraine. Moscow has condemned this
- 55:35plan with ministry spokesman Maria
- 55:38Zaharava warning last week that any
- 55:42western troop deployment in Ukraine will
- 55:45be treated as a foreign invasion.
- 55:49Um, so there you go.
- 55:53Uh, meanwhile,
- 55:56there's been a call in the EU
- 55:59for a permanent European army. Have you
- 56:02heard about this? This now they want
- 56:05instead of NATO, they want a permanent
- 56:07European army. And you know, when I read
- 56:11this, I thought this was a uh an
- 56:14interesting idea because right now the
- 56:18army in Europe is the US army. It's us.
- 56:22You know, the largest force is us and
- 56:24Poland's closer. Poland might be
- 56:26slightly larger, but uh you know, we
- 56:29supply the military force for NATO. And
- 56:34uh you know I think Trump rightly so is
- 56:37attempting to reduce
- 56:39um
- 56:41the need
- 56:43for us to supply everything. you know,
- 56:45this 5% push uh for NATO members to of
- 56:49their budget to supply the military
- 56:52[snorts]
- 56:53and for us to
- 56:55somewhat back off the role of supplying
- 56:58100% of the of the military might inside
- 57:03of Europe is um kind of a big deal. And
- 57:07so this article um guy named Andreas
- 57:11Kubilius
- 57:13the E said the EU must create a 100,000
- 57:16strong standing army to make military
- 57:20decisions independently
- 57:22of the US and NATO. This was defense
- 57:27commissioner Andreas. He's the defense
- 57:29commissioner of NATO. Uh Washington
- 57:31still maintains around the same number
- 57:34of troops in Europe. We have about
- 57:36100,000 in Europe. Speaking at a
- 57:39security conference in Sweden on Sunday,
- 57:41he argued that the EU must pivot from
- 57:44fragmented national armies to an
- 57:47integrated force. This is actually a in
- 57:50my opinion a good idea.
- 57:52So, we need to go but but I don't know
- 57:54how they would handle the language part,
- 57:56you know. Uh I assume they'd have to
- 57:59figure something out like that. But we
- 58:02need to go for a big bang in defense. He
- 58:04said, "We need to invest our money so
- 58:07that we could fight as Europe, not just
- 58:10as 27 national bonsai armies." Citing
- 58:14French President Mcronone and former
- 58:16German chancellor Angela Merkel,
- 58:19Kubilius noted they were speaking very
- 58:22similar words 10 years ago that Europe
- 58:24must be more independent and autonomous
- 58:27and even that we need to have a European
- 58:30army, a powerful standing European
- 58:32military force of a 100,000 troops. Um
- 58:37he called for an overhaul of Europe's
- 58:40military governance and proposed a 10 to
- 58:4312 member European security council to
- 58:46make EUwide defense decisions with the
- 58:49UK participating even though it's not
- 58:52part of the block any longer. Kubilia
- 58:54suggested that the changes are necessary
- 58:57in light of the threat allegedly posed
- 59:00by Russia which he claims will continue
- 59:03with a war economy even after Ukraine
- 59:05conflict is uh no more. Moscow dismiss
- 59:09these claims as nonsense and uh are
- 59:12distracting Europeans from domestic
- 59:14problems of their own and justify uh you
- 59:18know they use these threats to justify
- 59:21military budgets in Europe and warned
- 59:24that EU's militarization drive risks
- 59:27escalating tension. Uh Kubilia said the
- 59:30changes are urgent given the US shift in
- 59:34foreign policy under Trump. Well, that's
- 59:37temporary because you know that as soon
- 59:39as he's gone from office, uh the
- 59:42Republican or the Democrat are all going
- 59:45to go right back to the way it was
- 59:47pre-Trump. Uh that's what's going to
- 59:49happen. And uh you don't have to believe
- 59:51that. And you might think that's uh you
- 59:54know something,
- 59:57uh horrible to say, but that's
- 1:00:00unfortunately what's going to happen.
- 1:00:02you know, whether Europe goes to 5% or
- 1:00:06not, we're going to go right back to the
- 1:00:09way things used to be, everybody's going
- 1:00:12to breathe a big sigh of relief in the
- 1:00:14military-industrial complex. Al although
- 1:00:17Lindsey Graham wins this round anyway.
- 1:00:20Um, you know, on he he he'll win under
- 1:00:23any under any administration because
- 1:00:26this is where the money comes from for
- 1:00:28all these people and it's always about
- 1:00:30the money. Don't you remember your uh
- 1:00:33Oh, brother, where art thou?
- 1:00:36It's always about the money. Remember
- 1:00:38the guy uh beating him up over lunch?
- 1:00:41[laughter]
- 1:00:42Thank you for throwing in that fricy.
- 1:00:45[snorts] I'm a man of large appetite.
- 1:00:47Remember that? Um but anyway, he said
- 1:00:50the Kubilia said, "Now it's even more
- 1:00:53clear that we need to build Europe's
- 1:00:55independence. uncertainty of the future
- 1:00:58of the transatlantic partnership demands
- 1:01:02our resolve and as the key NATO power
- 1:01:06the US has 100,000 troops in Europe and
- 1:01:09Trump said deployments could be reduced
- 1:01:12but he denied a full withdrawal but he
- 1:01:15stressed that uh continued US commitment
- 1:01:17depends on the 5% GDP
- 1:01:21uh promise you know and this is what
- 1:01:23they got to pay and uh he has you know
- 1:01:27moved that in and Germany's um Mertz
- 1:01:31said something pretty similar if you
- 1:01:33remember that um this was um last month
- 1:01:38remember this he said that the decades
- 1:01:41of the Pax Americana are largely over in
- 1:01:44Europe and for Germany as well it no
- 1:01:48longer exists in the way we knew it
- 1:01:51Americans are now very very firmly
- 1:01:53pursuing their own interests s and he
- 1:01:57said that shifting US priorities mean
- 1:02:00that the EU has to focus more on its own
- 1:02:04competitiveness and defense. And he also
- 1:02:08claims this Russian threat. Everybody
- 1:02:10talks about the Russian threat. And uh I
- 1:02:14think they're better neighbors than you
- 1:02:15guys are. You guys are [snorts] uh
- 1:02:19frankly not very good neighbors.
- 1:02:22Um, let's see what else can we share
- 1:02:25with you today. Excuse [snorts] me.
- 1:02:28Running a bit here.
- 1:02:32Uh, let's see.
- 1:02:35I wanted to It was the the 8th that that
- 1:02:38archnic strike came out. Um,
- 1:02:43and
- 1:02:45there was uh some interesting video
- 1:02:48about it on the 8th that that came out.
- 1:02:51So, what was the 8th? Uh, Thursday,
- 1:02:55I think. Or what is today? Today's
- 1:02:58Today's the 12th, isn't it? And so, uh,
- 1:03:01I think the 8th was, uh, was Friday. And
- 1:03:06so [cough]
- 1:03:08they had some good video of it that
- 1:03:10showed it looked like a part of it
- 1:03:13looked like a gas storage facility when
- 1:03:15I was watching it because it looked like
- 1:03:17it was uh underground footage and CCTV
- 1:03:21footage that was shared on Friday showed
- 1:03:24bright projectiles landing in uh Olv,
- 1:03:27which it's a border of Poland, so it's
- 1:03:30pretty far west. And uh it was
- 1:03:33unconfirmed at the time, but it's
- 1:03:35confirmed now. And Voyme uh Andrea
- 1:03:39Sadovoy said a piece of critical
- 1:03:41infrastructure was hit, but on Russian
- 1:03:44telegram, they said it was an
- 1:03:46underground gas facility
- 1:03:49in the city of Strei, which is about 60
- 1:03:52kilometers from Olv, and it would if it
- 1:03:55was confirmed, it would be the second
- 1:03:58one. Now they say it was a an air
- 1:04:02uh air defense um
- 1:04:04air aircraft parts facility and uh
- 1:04:09[snorts] that there's been a lot of news
- 1:04:11about how
- 1:04:13Russia hasn't used any of these except
- 1:04:17and this is only the second strike and
- 1:04:20so they were wondering if the first was
- 1:04:23only a test or if the expense of these
- 1:04:27these missiles is so uh great that
- 1:04:34they haven't produced all that many.
- 1:04:36Now, what I shared with you a couple of
- 1:04:39months ago or weeks ago, h I don't
- 1:04:42remember when we we were talking about
- 1:04:45um
- 1:04:47how many they're, you know, them be how
- 1:04:49many they're going to produce and how
- 1:04:51fast they can produce them and that uh
- 1:04:54we expected them to start putting them
- 1:04:58out as a regular part of the arsenal and
- 1:05:02releasing them uh for full production.
- 1:05:06in early 2026. Well, this is real early
- 1:05:102026. The first one went out on uh
- 1:05:14December or I'm sorry, January the 8th,
- 1:05:17so 4 days ago. And um
- 1:05:22that is pretty early and and Russia has
- 1:05:24indicated that they're going to have
- 1:05:26these in full production mode uh for
- 1:05:29early um 2026.
- 1:05:33So
- 1:05:35right now they are probably uh every
- 1:05:39night, you know, last night I watched a
- 1:05:41report that said there were 140 plus or
- 1:05:44minus uh strikes
- 1:05:47um across Ukraine by missiles, drones
- 1:05:54uh and other you know aircraft shots
- 1:05:58during the night. night before similar
- 1:06:01number. Night before similar number.
- 1:06:03It's like almost every single night and
- 1:06:06they pick different regions. Uh last
- 1:06:08night it was Odessa in Kiev and then uh
- 1:06:11the you know this night
- 1:06:15when this Arashnik hit on the 8th it was
- 1:06:20the Ovolve in the western Ukraine. Um,
- 1:06:25so Odessa has been hit repeatedly and
- 1:06:28and and Russia is continuing to strike
- 1:06:31Odessa and take out uh they they hit a
- 1:06:34ship in the in the port uh yesterday as
- 1:06:37well. there was a ship that they hit and
- 1:06:40so there's a pretty good story about
- 1:06:41that that uh showed what they had hit in
- 1:06:44the port and how they're attacking uh
- 1:06:47all of the things that are supplying the
- 1:06:50Ukrainian army or the arms you know the
- 1:06:54military-industrial complex with parts.
- 1:06:58Uh meanwhile, England is uh you know,
- 1:07:01Britain is allegedly uh making plans to
- 1:07:05start building its missiles inside of
- 1:07:08Ukraine that will go 500 kilometers
- 1:07:12which will hit will be able to hit
- 1:07:15Moscow. So,
- 1:07:18all of the things that I see, everything
- 1:07:21that I've been watching, and I've been
- 1:07:23hoping that this war would end and will
- 1:07:26go away.
- 1:07:28Unfortunately, I believe that's a pipe
- 1:07:30dream. I I I don't think it's going
- 1:07:33away. If anything, I say that it is
- 1:07:36probably in the way of escalation.
- 1:07:42And it is unfortunate to me and I I'm I
- 1:07:49just don't like it. Uh and and I don't
- 1:07:52think
- 1:07:54I I don't think the war will settle this
- 1:07:58year either. I think we need to settle
- 1:08:01in for a long-term war and keep on
- 1:08:06going. Uh not that I want to. I don't.
- 1:08:09But we aren't making any efforts to stop
- 1:08:12it. And with everything go that we are
- 1:08:15doing in the west, there ain't no way
- 1:08:18that Russia is just gonna um
- 1:08:22u
- 1:08:24stop, you know, inside of Ukraine based
- 1:08:27upon the things that the that the West
- 1:08:29is doing, especially with the talk about
- 1:08:32this uh 800 billion allegedly going to
- 1:08:37uh Ukraine from the US in 2026.
- 1:08:42It's actually like a 10-year plan of 80
- 1:08:44billion a year is what they were talking
- 1:08:47about yesterday.
- 1:08:49And uh that is unfortunate if if that is
- 1:08:53the way we go. Um I'm going to try to
- 1:08:56share two more stories with you.
- 1:09:01One from January 9th and one from the
- 1:09:0410th.
- 1:09:06And uh they're what I'm they're both
- 1:09:08fairly long.
- 1:09:11um articles and this one is written by a
- 1:09:15Canadian
- 1:09:18independent journalist
- 1:09:20and her name is Ava Bartlett
- 1:09:24and
- 1:09:26her the the title of her article is
- 1:09:28called Here's Who Really Weaponizes
- 1:09:31Children in the Russia Ukraine Conflict.
- 1:09:36As the accusations of abductions
- 1:09:39resurface, it's clear the West doesn't
- 1:09:42care about the facts on the ground if
- 1:09:45they contradict the narrative. And this
- 1:09:48is a Canadian lady and I I believe
- 1:09:52similarly. And uh so I thought I'd share
- 1:09:55this with you one more time because uh
- 1:09:58it's it's part of the rhetoric of
- 1:10:01nonsense that has been cast across the
- 1:10:04the West all the time that they you know
- 1:10:08that Russia has stolen 20,000 children
- 1:10:11and it's just nonsense. It's crazy.
- 1:10:15And uh for the last three years uh this
- 1:10:18is this is her article. For the last 3
- 1:10:21years, Ukraine and concerted legacy
- 1:10:25media campaigns have been screaming that
- 1:10:28Russia has abducted or forcibly
- 1:10:30displaced thousands of Ukrainian
- 1:10:33children, even up to 1.5
- 1:10:37million. The accusations researched in
- 1:10:41December with a UN General Assembly vote
- 1:10:44on a draft resolution on the return of
- 1:10:47Ukrainian children.
- 1:10:50During the meeting, Ukraine's deputy
- 1:10:53foreign minister, Mariana Betsza, once
- 1:10:56again pushed claims that at least 20,000
- 1:11:01Ukrainian children have been deported to
- 1:11:04Russia, in spite of the fact that months
- 1:11:08prior during the June Istanbul talks,
- 1:11:11the Ukrainian side finally provided a
- 1:11:14list of the children it accused Russia
- 1:11:16of abducting.
- 1:11:18339 children in total, surprisingly far
- 1:11:23fewer than the number they have alleged
- 1:11:26for years. The absence of over 19,500
- 1:11:30on the list indeed leads to many
- 1:11:33questions. Mainly, is Ukraine lying
- 1:11:37again? Recall that in 2022, the
- 1:11:40accusations by now former Ukrainian
- 1:11:43ombbudsswoman Ludmila Denisova about
- 1:11:46sexual atrocities allegedly committed by
- 1:11:50Russian soldiers were revealed to be
- 1:11:52lies and propaganda. So much so that
- 1:11:56Denise was sacked. But before her
- 1:11:59dismissal, Legacy Media and the UN all
- 1:12:03backed those lies.
- 1:12:05Some recent accusations are that
- 1:12:08children are being sent to labor camps
- 1:12:10in Russia,
- 1:12:12165 re-education camps where Ukrainian
- 1:12:16children are militarized and rousified
- 1:12:20or even of being sent to North Korea. As
- 1:12:24Katarina Rashevskaya
- 1:12:27of the Ukrainian Regional Center for
- 1:12:29Human Rights told the US Committee on
- 1:12:32State for Foreign Operations and RE
- 1:12:35related programs on December 3rd, the
- 1:12:38footnotes of the claims made by RashVaya
- 1:12:42instead of the source of for the
- 1:12:44information say the regional human
- 1:12:47rights center can provide information
- 1:12:49upon request. In other words, her
- 1:12:52sources are, "Trust me, bro." Regarding
- 1:12:56the North Korean camp in question,
- 1:13:00if two Russian teens were sent there,
- 1:13:02they'd potentially be made to enjoy
- 1:13:04water slides, basketball and volleyball
- 1:13:07courts, an arcade room, a rock climbing
- 1:13:10wall, art and performance halls, an
- 1:13:13archery range, a private beach, and
- 1:13:15hikes in the mountains. Regarding the
- 1:13:18list of 339 children Ukraine says were
- 1:13:22abducted by Russia, Russian Foreign
- 1:13:25Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakarva
- 1:13:28remarked 30% of the names on the list
- 1:13:32could not be verified as most of those
- 1:13:35children were never in Russia, are now
- 1:13:38adults or have already returned to their
- 1:13:41families. As for the Ukrainian children
- 1:13:44who are actually in our country, they
- 1:13:46are under state care and appropriate
- 1:13:48institutions. They are safe for now. In
- 1:13:52many cases, their evacuation from combat
- 1:13:55zones saved their lives. Local children
- 1:13:58rights commissioners are now working to
- 1:14:01reunite them with their relatives.
- 1:14:05Just as legacy media has whitewashed the
- 1:14:08eight years of Ukraine's war against
- 1:14:11Donbass civilians prior to Russia
- 1:14:13commencing its military operation in
- 1:14:152022,
- 1:14:17including the Ukrainian shelling that
- 1:14:20killed 250 children starting in 2014.
- 1:14:25Media likewise ignore the children
- 1:14:28Russia says are missing. During talks in
- 1:14:30Istanbul, Zahadava noted the Russia side
- 1:14:34presented Ukraine with a list of 20
- 1:14:37Russian children who are either
- 1:14:38currently in Ukraine or relocated from
- 1:14:41Ukraine to Western Europe, including the
- 1:14:44countries that endorse this very
- 1:14:46statement. Now the burden falls on these
- 1:14:49states to provide Russia with a
- 1:14:51substantive response regarding our list
- 1:14:55of 20 children.
- 1:14:58Over uh recently, Donbassbased
- 1:15:02journalist Crystal Neant wrote about a
- 1:15:04report published in a pro- Ukrainian
- 1:15:07website
- 1:15:08that broke the story of 510
- 1:15:12Ukrainian children who had been
- 1:15:14evacuated by Ukrainian oligarch in 2022
- 1:15:18from Nepa Petrosk to Turkey where the
- 1:15:21benevolent foundation which brought them
- 1:15:24there allegedly allowed its staff to
- 1:15:26beat the children sexually. assault them
- 1:15:29and deny them food if they refuse to
- 1:15:31perform on camera to raise funds for
- 1:15:34their lodging. These are some of the
- 1:15:37reported violations of these orphans
- 1:15:39rights. The details of the report show
- 1:15:42that the children suffered physically
- 1:15:44and psychologically. Additionally, two
- 1:15:46underage teens were impregnated by staff
- 1:15:49at the hotel they stayed in with
- 1:15:52educators allegedly aware of the
- 1:15:54interactions. According to Neon to the
- 1:15:57orphanage director's response to the
- 1:15:59fact that one of the teens in her care
- 1:16:01became pregnant was to blame the girl.
- 1:16:04This young girl comes from an asocial
- 1:16:07family. Well, this way of life is
- 1:16:09already inscribed in every cell in the
- 1:16:12blood of these children. [snorts]
- 1:16:15In almost 10 years of work in
- 1:16:17Donbassnant wrote, I've conducted or
- 1:16:20filmed many humanitarian missions to
- 1:16:22orphanages in the region and never ever
- 1:16:26have I heard a director make such vile
- 1:16:29remarks about one of the children in her
- 1:16:32care. Even the most difficult and
- 1:16:34recalcitrant were cared for with
- 1:16:37pedagoguy, love, and patience.
- 1:16:41uh Ukraine hunting down children. In
- 1:16:44April 2023, Crystal Neantani interviewed
- 1:16:47Artosk civilians who had been recently
- 1:16:50rescued by Russian soldiers. In addition
- 1:16:53to being deliberately shelled by
- 1:16:55Ukrainian forces who knew they were
- 1:16:57sheltering in the basement of a
- 1:16:59residential building. The civilians we
- 1:17:02spoke to told us about Ukrainian
- 1:17:04military police hunting for children.
- 1:17:07The evacuees told us some of these
- 1:17:10police went by the name of White Angels
- 1:17:13and were taking children away without
- 1:17:16the consent or that of their parents.
- 1:17:19Around that time, more reports came out
- 1:17:22about these abductions or attempted
- 1:17:25abductions, including an 11year-old girl
- 1:17:28who spoke of how the White Angels, who
- 1:17:31introduced themselves as military
- 1:17:33police, came to the basement she was
- 1:17:35sheltering in with a photo of her,
- 1:17:38looking for her, and saying they needed
- 1:17:41to take her away because Russia killed
- 1:17:44her mother. According to the girl, her
- 1:17:47mother was alive and with her. Reports
- 1:17:51of these abductions also emerged in
- 1:17:53Avdka, Kupansk, Slavansk, Chasovar, and
- 1:17:57Constantinovka as well as in Ukranskin
- 1:18:00Jallesna.
- 1:18:02Nant wrote of a July 2023 conference on
- 1:18:06Ukraine's crimes against the Donbass
- 1:18:08children in which Lilia and her daughter
- 1:18:11Kira from Shastia in the Lugansk
- 1:18:15people's republic spoke they gave
- 1:18:17evidence of how here's the quote at the
- 1:18:21state of the special military oper I'm
- 1:18:24sorry the start of the special military
- 1:18:26operation when Ukraine controlled
- 1:18:29Shastia around 10 children were taken
- 1:18:31from a school in Shasta to western
- 1:18:33Ukraine by the head mistress of the
- 1:18:36school on orders from Kiev without
- 1:18:38informing their parents. The children
- 1:18:42were even forbidden to call their
- 1:18:43parents, she wrote. But Kira knew her
- 1:18:46mother's telephone number by heart and
- 1:18:48managed to call her to let her know they
- 1:18:50were in Aviv and then Kust. Thanks to
- 1:18:53Lilia's determination to find her
- 1:18:55daughter, we discovered how Kiev exports
- 1:18:58the children it abducts. Ukraine had
- 1:19:02forged a new original birth certificate
- 1:19:05for Kira. The girl said she and the
- 1:19:07other children were to be sent to
- 1:19:09Poland.
- 1:19:11This is terrible. Uh former SBU officer
- 1:19:14Vasilei Prozorov
- 1:19:17spoke of at the same conference where he
- 1:19:20explained according to Nant that one of
- 1:19:22his investigations had revealed that
- 1:19:25some of the children abducted by Ukraine
- 1:19:28are sent to pedophile networks in Great
- 1:19:30Britain via a whole network of Ukrainian
- 1:19:33and British officials or former
- 1:19:35officials who work together. On the
- 1:19:38British side, members of M MI6 and the
- 1:19:42foreign office are involved. Prozorov,
- 1:19:44she wrote spoke of another of his
- 1:19:47investigations on organizations
- 1:19:49registered in EU countries involving in
- 1:19:53exporting children from Ukraine under
- 1:19:56the pretext of providing them with
- 1:19:58shelter. These organizations take
- 1:20:01unaccompanied Ukrainian children out of
- 1:20:03Ukraine. What happens to them afterwards
- 1:20:06is unknown.
- 1:20:10In November 2022, in the southern
- 1:20:13Russian seaside city of Anapa, I met
- 1:20:16numerous people displaced from Kerson
- 1:20:19who were being lodged in hotels and
- 1:20:22apartments in the city. The first site I
- 1:20:25visited was only a few minutes by taxi
- 1:20:27outside of the city, one of many hotels
- 1:20:30along the coast. The hotel director,
- 1:20:33showing me around, said, "They don't
- 1:20:35call them refugees. We call them guests
- 1:20:38of the building, and spoke
- 1:20:40affectionately of them how grateful they
- 1:20:43were to be there, far from any shelling,
- 1:20:46just under 500 refugees had been living
- 1:20:49there since October. No guard monitored
- 1:20:52the entrance or exit. The refugees
- 1:20:55walked around tidy grounds, but in any
- 1:20:57case, I asked about their freedom of
- 1:20:59movement, or lack thereof. They move
- 1:21:02freely, of course. We don't prohibit
- 1:21:03them from going out. Many aren't here
- 1:21:06now because they're in town looking for
- 1:21:08jobs, getting documents. Children are at
- 1:21:12school. With my hired
- 1:21:15translator, I spoke with two Hers women,
- 1:21:18a young mother and her a young mother
- 1:21:20and her own mother to hear their
- 1:21:22stories. "We were living with explosions
- 1:21:25at night. It was scary, not only for
- 1:21:27myself, but from my children and from my
- 1:21:29grandchildren, said the older woman.
- 1:21:32When you go to bed, you don't know if
- 1:21:35you will get out of bed in the morning.
- 1:21:37We were forced to leave. I asked him who
- 1:21:40was shelling. She she said, "Word of
- 1:21:43mouth transmits very clearly, and people
- 1:21:46around us spoke about it. We were bombed
- 1:21:48by the armed forces of Ukraine. Russian
- 1:21:52soldiers were protecting us." The
- 1:21:55younger woman said she used to speak
- 1:21:57with the Russian soldiers there. They
- 1:21:59are friendly. We wanted to hug them
- 1:22:01because we felt protected. They helped
- 1:22:04us, gave us humanitarian aid, brought it
- 1:22:07to the house. Some minutes taxi ride
- 1:22:10away. I visit an apartment complex that
- 1:22:12could have served tourists in the
- 1:22:14summer.
- 1:22:16There 50 buildings housed around 1,500
- 1:22:19refugees who also arrived in October,
- 1:22:22mostly from Hersan. my translator and I
- 1:22:25walked around passing playgrounds, a
- 1:22:28pharmacy, a library, a swimming pool, a
- 1:22:30gym, a small petting zoo, and a
- 1:22:32kindergarten. Near a playground, I spoke
- 1:22:34with a mother sitting on a bench with
- 1:22:37two of her four children. In the early
- 1:22:39days, there was bombing. We spent 2 and
- 1:22:421/2 weeks in the basement. It was
- 1:22:44unbearable. The children were very
- 1:22:46afraid. One of her daughters became ill.
- 1:22:50She had acute inflammation of the lower
- 1:22:52jaw. We think due to hypothermia. We
- 1:22:56took her to Symphopel and she had
- 1:22:59surgery in Anapa. She said her children
- 1:23:02had full medical exams. We were helped
- 1:23:05by the mayor of the city of Anapa and we
- 1:23:07are grateful. His mother called three
- 1:23:10days in a row saying where are the
- 1:23:12children? We answered. They went to the
- 1:23:14sim cinema. They're playing etc. She
- 1:23:17said show me the children. They say they
- 1:23:20took your children from you. uh but they
- 1:23:23didn't. Um whereas legacy media
- 1:23:25continued to push the evil Russia kidnap
- 1:23:29children narrative, there is ample
- 1:23:32evidence that Ukraine is guilty of doing
- 1:23:34precisely what it accuses Russia of.
- 1:23:38There is also a significant absence of
- 1:23:41evidence regarding the 20,000 kidnapped
- 1:23:44children claims that are still being
- 1:23:46pushed in the Western media. Will media
- 1:23:50investigate the reports of abuse of
- 1:23:52Ukrainian children in Turkey? Surely
- 1:23:55not. It wouldn't suit their scripted
- 1:23:58anti-Russia
- 1:24:00bias.
- 1:24:01And once again, that article was written
- 1:24:04by a Canadian independent journalist
- 1:24:08named Ava Bartlett.
- 1:24:10And uh she has also done stories in
- 1:24:16Syria and Palestine always, you know,
- 1:24:19well not always but a lot of times about
- 1:24:21children
- 1:24:23abuses, that kind of thing. And
- 1:24:27I've been talking about this for a good
- 1:24:29long time about this number of 20,000
- 1:24:32that they could never ever come up with.
- 1:24:36And there was when the war first
- 1:24:39escalated in 2022 when Russia went into
- 1:24:43uh the Dawnbass area, there was a huge
- 1:24:46bunch of stories about this 20,000
- 1:24:49children that were taken and it's been
- 1:24:53debunked from day one except
- 1:24:58in, [clears throat]
- 1:24:59you know, Ukrainian narratives like by
- 1:25:01Zalinski or by whoever wants to uh pump
- 1:25:05the nonsense. ments out for people. Um,
- 1:25:09but
- 1:25:11legitimate sources that come out, uh,
- 1:25:15real sources, people that have
- 1:25:17investigated it, don't believe any of
- 1:25:19it. Uh, nor do I. It, uh, it but it it
- 1:25:23just doesn't fit the narrative. And
- 1:25:26they've been asking for the list of
- 1:25:27these people for a good long time. And
- 1:25:29Lavough always says, "Look, you've given
- 1:25:32us 300 names. You know, where where are
- 1:25:35the rest?" you know, where's this 20,000
- 1:25:37you were talking about? And um I don't
- 1:25:41know, it just uh the the the stories
- 1:25:44continue to uh
- 1:25:48devolve. Um I I I was thinking I could
- 1:25:52share that other story with you, but I
- 1:25:54guess not. That one took a little longer
- 1:25:55than I thought. And uh it's basically
- 1:25:58how the US is is redoing uh world
- 1:26:02politics after the Trump move. And uh
- 1:26:05that was an interesting one too. I'll
- 1:26:07share that with you tomorrow most likely
- 1:26:09unless I come up with something else. Um
- 1:26:12I appreciate you being with me here
- 1:26:13today on International Flavor and paying
- 1:26:17attention to uh us here on Dam Radio. Uh
- 1:26:22we like it when you do. Today for the
