**ALERT** Silver and GOLD PRICE Zoom HIGHER - This is WHY! · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
Special broadcast The gold and silver price are exploding
• 0:05
higher right now today, June 2nd, 2025, right before our very
• 0:10
eyes. I'm wondering why I dug in.
• 0:13
I think I have two big reasons, but a number of other very
• 0:16
interesting reasons as to why we are seeing today unbelievable
• 0:21
gains in the price of gold and silver.
• 0:24
We also want to take a look at the silver chart because there
• 0:26
is something super cool, super interesting that we want to pay
• 0:30
attention to. We will have $60.00 silver by
• 0:34
April of 2026. The way things are going, guys,
• 0:39
we might even have it sooner. First, thank you for being here.
• 0:42
Thank you for being part of the basement.
• 0:44
It's a big deal. I want you to feel like you
• 0:46
belong. You found a little home away
• 0:48
from home because you have. Let's dig right in and start
• 0:52
talking about the reasons why they are giving us that.
• 0:56
We have this unbelievable increase today in the gold and
• 1:01
silver price. And 1st, we're going to go out
• 1:04
to Kitco. They did an excellent job of
• 1:07
  covering what is happening today.
• 1:10
First off, to start the day, we get gold, gold and silver seeing
• 1:14
solid price gains on safe haven demand.
• 1:18
So let's dig into this. Gold prices are posting gains
• 1:21
early. US trading Monday as safe haven
• 1:24
demand as trade tensions between the world's two largest
• 1:28
economies are rising again. And a lower U.S. dollar index.
• 1:32
We're going to look at that chart later as well, guys.
• 1:34
It is looking very good for silver and gold world right now.
• 1:39
Risk aversion is keener to start the trading week after President
• 1:42
Trump over the weekend accused China of violating a recent
• 1:47
trade deal. Trump also said the US tariffs
• 1:49
on steel and aluminum will be increased this week, reads the
• 1:53
Baron's headline today. Quote, US, China trade talks get
• 1:58
ugly, OK? Also, in other news, JP Morgan
• 2:02
Chief Jamie Dimon warned in a speech in an Economic Forum
• 2:07
that, quote, you are going to see a crack in the bond market
• 2:11
unless the US takes steps to address its spiraling national
• 2:16
  debt. It's going to happen.
• 2:18
So let's take a look right now. OK, So we have major
• 2:22
geopolitical issues between the United States and China.
• 2:25
The trade, the tariff thing going on.
• 2:27
We've got Jamie Dimon telling us that we're going to see a crack
• 2:31
in the bond market. The bond market is multiples
• 2:33
higher than the stock market. It would be devastating.
• 2:37
And on top of that, guys, on top of that, we've got a situation
• 2:41
in Russia. There's too much for me to
• 2:43
remember. I got to look at my notes, OK?
• 2:45
Over the weekend, the Ukraine dealt A devastating blow to the
• 2:49
Russian military. This crazy sneak attack, right?
• 2:52
We have war going on in the world.
• 2:55
The situation in the Middle East is not any better.
• 2:57
But what happened over the weekend in Russia is a major
• 3:02
deal as well. I think that that's one of the
• 3:04
more major contributors to what we're seeing.
• 3:07
However, however, what they're going to tell us is that it's
• 3:11
because of trade tensions, tariff tensions with China, it's
• 3:15
because of the bond market, right?
• 3:17
This untenable situation we have in the United States with our
• 3:21
debt level. But also we've got major
• 3:23
geopolitical issues in Europe and in the Middle East.
• 3:28
And most recently this major attack by the Ukraine's on
• 3:31
Russia, which was this crazy sneak attack wiped out part of
• 3:35
their nuclear bombing fleet. Really, really crazy stuff going
• 3:39
  on. But wait, there's more.
• 3:42
OK, more reasons why we're seeing this massive move up and
• 3:45
then we're going to go to the charts.
• 3:48
But let's go to the next article.
• 3:49
Again, Kitco did a great job covering this in real time this
• 3:54
morning. This one comes from our friend
• 3:55
Neil's Christensen. We love Neil's says gold price
• 3:59
  holding near session session high.
• 4:01
So gold went up this morning and then had another leg up as this
• 4:06
ISM manufacturing PMI data came out just briefly here.
• 4:11
Gold prices are holding at sessions highs, continuing to
• 4:15
attract fresh safe haven bids after US manufacturing sector
• 4:19
  fell deeper into contraction territory.
• 4:23
The ISM announced on Monday that its manufacturing PMI index
• 4:27
dropped to 48.5% in May compared to the previous reading of 48.7.
• 4:33
The headline number was weaker than expected as economist
• 4:39
Economist had anticipated a more neutral reading.
• 4:43
The report also noted stubborn inflation pressures as well.
• 4:49
So on top of what we already talked about, we're also dealing
• 4:53
with an inflationary environment in the United States and and a
• 4:59
contracting of the economy. What does that add up to?
• 5:02
Come on, basement dwellers, we've been covering this for
• 5:05
years. Two years I've been down here
• 5:07
banging this table talking about stagflation.
• 5:11
ISM numbers down, OK, that's showing a more stagnant or even
• 5:17
recessionary economy. And we're getting more and more
• 5:20
data showing us that inflation is not going down.
• 5:24
And despite what the Treasury Secretary, Scott Percent wants
• 5:28
us all to believe, we know there are truly big inflationary
• 5:31
pressures that creates A stagflationary environment.
• 5:35
There is nothing more fertile for the world right of gold and
• 5:41
silver non Fiat assets than a stagflationary environment.
• 5:45
Look no further than back to the 1970s when we saw unbelievable
• 5:50
rises in the in the price of gold and silver.
• 5:54
Let's go take a look at the silver chart in particular.
• 5:57
The gold chart is just beautiful.
• 6:00
We'll go to that. But let's go to the silver chart
• 6:03
here and take a look at what it is showing us because there's
• 6:06
something very, very cool happening on the silver chart.
• 6:11
Let's get the crayons out. This is a one year chart.
• 6:16
Hold on here are we? Why is that not working?
• 6:20
This is there we go, A1 year chart of silver.
• 6:26
As you can see in the futures market right now, we are up
• 6:30
$1.53 per oz. But what we really want to pay
• 6:34
attention to here guys, is this right here, this line in the
• 6:38
sand right about here, which is $35 per oz as you can see,
• 6:46
right? Remember we went up once and
• 6:48
tried. We went up twice and tried and
• 6:51
does it look to you right here, huh, that we are giving it a
• 6:56
third shot right now? This could be the promised land
• 7:01
for silver and for silver and gold.
• 7:04
Gold. We'll look at gold next.
• 7:06
But if we can get through this area right here, $35, we could
• 7:11
be off to the races because as we've looked at many times,
• 7:16
let's get the crayons back out. This bears repeating.
• 7:23
My crayons aren't. There we go.
• 7:31
We're going to draw a straight line at 35 like we.
• 7:36
No, we're not. Hold on here.
• 7:41
  We're having some technical difficulties.
• 7:43
Hopefully you guys can see me and hear me right now.
• 7:46
Let's try this again one more time and we'll move on.
• 7:50
There we go. Nothing like watching the guy
• 7:52
struggle, right? The struggle is real, but if we
• 7:56
go out over the past year and draw that line and this line
• 8:01
again, that's between 30 and 35. But if we draw another line, I
• 8:08
  mean, basically we've been consolidating.
• 8:11
I'll leave it, I'll leave it like that.
• 8:12
Let's change the color. Let me just show you with a
• 8:16
green swiggly line that over the last year we have spent the
• 8:21
majority of our time in that range.
• 8:25
I'm telling you, anybody who wanted to sell, anybody who was
• 8:28
Chicken Little got out of the silver market and was replaced
• 8:32
generally speaking by strong handed people.
• 8:34
People that really believe that silver needs to be 40, fifty,
• 8:39
$60.00 per oz. Again, when we get third try
• 8:43
above this, it could be party time for silver.
• 8:46
Let's go look at the gold chart and I saw something interesting
• 8:50
on gold that I wanted to share with you.
• 8:55
There we go. So if we look at gold, hold on
• 9:03
here, that's a one day chart of the gold price.
• 9:08
Let's do a one year on gold, maybe a six month.
• 9:14
  Oh, wait a minute. OK.
• 9:16
  Wow. Wow.
• 9:18
So gold up $82 in the futures market.
• 9:21
Do you see what I see? An inverse head and shoulders.
• 9:26
It's there for real now. There's a shoulder.
• 9:29
This is somebody standing on their head.
• 9:31
There's the head and there's the shoulder in that typically will
• 9:37
end with a move up in that direction.
• 9:40
OK, what other reasons? So you know, again, we have, we
• 9:44
have the safe haven argument they're that they're giving us
• 9:47
for why gold and silver are having this massive move up
• 9:50
today. But on top of that, right, we
• 9:54
know we have some bad economic data.
• 9:56
We covered that. When we look at the chart of
• 9:58
silver, we know we've been consolidating.
• 10:01
We know this is the third time that we're attempting to
• 10:05
breakthrough $35 per oz for silver.
• 10:08
I almost forgot. Look at this beauty.
• 10:11
This is one ounce silver coin from our friends at First Mint
• 10:16
that's worth a dollar more today for this beautiful coin from the
• 10:21
channel sponsor for gold and silver First Mint, they're Keith
• 10:26
Newmark Company. They're part of First Majestic
• 10:29
Silver. First Mint is a mint in Nevada
• 10:32
creating world class silver bullion products.
• 10:36
What's unique about them is they get all of their silver from
• 10:40
First Majestic, right? First Majestic mines the silver
• 10:43
in Mexico, ships at the Nevada where where they create these
• 10:47
products and then it goes directly to you.
• 10:50
These are unique products, absolutely beautiful.
• 10:53
You can check them out at their website, firstmint.com.
• 10:56
They're free shipping over $199. Great service, great selection.
• 11:01
Again, they're part of First Majestic Silver, so you know
• 11:05
they are a company you can trust and they have a discount code
• 11:10
  VIPRB, thank Ron's basement VIPRB.
• 11:14
Alright guys, let's go take a look at the other quick reasons
• 11:17
about what's going on, what other reasons why we have this
• 11:21
massive move going on. If we look at gold, we know
• 11:25
what's going on with China massive Golden porch.
• 11:28
I think they set a record in in April.
• 11:30
It was like 3 times the previous month.
• 11:34
Don't forget the big secret weapon coming this summer,
• 11:37
  Basil. Three.
• 11:38
That's the end of July or July 1st.
• 11:41
Right around the corner either way, right?
• 11:44
Making gold a tier one asset. And then when we talk about
• 11:47
silver, we haven't talked about this lately, basement dwellers.
• 11:50
But let's not forget the world is devouring more and more
• 11:55
silver then it's producing every single year.
• 11:59
We have a silver deficit in an environment where there's been
• 12:03
massive underinvestment in the silver mining sector.
• 12:06
So these silver miners think about this, right?
• 12:09
The world is consuming more silver than it's producing and
• 12:12
there's been little investment in on the production side.
• 12:16
And as a super added bonus, right, when the price does go to
• 12:20
$60.00 per oz, which is just my prediction, I'm not a financial
• 12:23
advisor, don't make any financial decisions based on
• 12:26
what I'm saying. But when we're able to really
• 12:29
see true price discovery for silver, there's been so little
• 12:34
investment in silver mining that the, that the people that
• 12:37
already have the mines are going to be at a huge advantage
• 12:40
because it takes a decade to go from discovering silver all the
• 12:45
way to having an operating mine. And it's a very difficult
• 12:48
challenge, right? Let's look at the dollar.
• 12:51
A warning before I forget warning, what could throw some
• 12:54
cold water on today on this awesome day that we're seeing in
• 12:58
the precious metals is that Jerome Powell will be speaking
• 13:03
here at 1:00 PM Eastern today. You may be watching a recording
• 13:06
of this. We'll know how that played out,
• 13:08
but Jerome Powell from the Federal Reserve will be giving a
• 13:11
speech later today. The other major factor that
• 13:14
we're keeping a close eye on is the dollar index.
• 13:18
Let's go take a look at what is happening with the dollar index.
• 13:25
And this is almost too good to be true, guys.
• 13:29
Right now we're seeing the dollar index below 100 and in
• 13:34
the 90 eights. This will prove to be a massive,
• 13:39
massive tailwind for the gold and silver price because because
• 13:45
of one thing and one thing only and that is we got a long way
• 13:50
further down that we can fall and granted, this is comparing
• 13:54
all the Fiat currencies to each other.
• 13:57
But as you can see on this long term chart all the way back to
• 14:00
1985 right there, most of the time the dollar index stood at a
• 14:05
level below 100. And what I love to show you on
• 14:10
every live stream, well at least once a week anyway, is this
• 14:14
right here? If we go back to 2001, all the
• 14:19
way through 2011, you can see the dollar index started up here
• 14:24
and ended down here, was in a bear market.
• 14:28
And that was a period of time where we experienced
• 14:32
unbelievable returns in silver and gold.
• 14:37
Silver, for instance, during that period, during that 10 year
• 14:40
period, the last time we had the dollar index drop like that,
• 14:43
silver went from $5.00 an ounce all the way up to $50 per oz.
• 14:48
I'd also like to say thank you to channel sponsor First Mining
• 14:51
Gold. They're also sponsoring my gold
• 14:54
and silver content. That's a stock that I've owned
• 14:56
for many years. They are a gold development
• 15:00
stage company with two massive multi million ounce projects in
• 15:04
Canada. OK, they got the spring pull
• 15:07
project in Ontario and the Du Parquet project in Quebec.
• 15:11
The gold's already been drilled, already been defined.
• 15:14
It's massive amounts of gold in the ground.
• 15:17
They're in the development stage right now, which can offer some
• 15:20
exciting catalyst. And guys, there just aren't a
• 15:23
lot of big, major, big, big. I'm talking millions of Oz of
• 15:27
Gold development stage projects in Canada.
• 15:31
If you want more information, you can reach out to
• 15:33

• 15:39
almost forgot subscribe. We got almost 400 people here at
• 15:44
a spur of the moment. What a crazy day in the gold and
• 15:47
silver market. Do you believe it's going to
• 15:50
  continue? I wholeheartedly believe, you
• 15:53
know, I've been down here talking about investing in gold
• 15:56
and silver for years. Silver in particular, right, is
• 16:00
still in a position, the gold to silver ratio near 100, right,
• 16:05
Where it can move, and I mean slingshot move.
• 16:08
Oh, I was going to tell you. Please subscribe to the channel
• 16:12
because I want you to come back, right?
• 16:13
I want you to feel like you found a little home away from
• 16:16
home, some silver and gold homies here in the basement.
• 16:19
You're always welcome here. It's going to be fun to see how
• 16:23
this plays out, not only in the coming weeks, not only in the
• 16:26
coming months, but the coming years as well.
• 16:30
Unfortunately, our leadership in the United States, recent
• 16:34
leadership in the last decades has put us in a situation where
• 16:37
the dollar is pretty much up a Creek without a paddle, right?
• 16:43
We're in a lifeboat. It's called silver and gold and
• 16:45
  other non Fiat related investments.
• 16:48
Some people are in crypto, that's great.
• 16:51
But anything outside of that paper dollar I think is going to
• 16:55
represent a safe harbor as we move through the next months,
• 16:59
quarters and years. Thanks for being here.
• 17:01
Thanks for being part of the basement.
• 17:03
You take care of yourself and I'll look forward to seeing you
• 17:06
  soon.
