- 0:08Speaker 2: Morning drive, Ham'sday. Hester and Hester got it BAA your
- 0:13Speaker 2: locks in to Off the Bench control the.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Live from downtown Baton Rouge. Here's Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn, Yo.
- 0:39Speaker 2: And weal come in to oh t B.
- 0:42Speaker 3: We are live here from Rouses on burd Bank and
- 0:46Speaker 3: we're gonna be here all show long. We're going to
- 0:48Speaker 3: be here every single Friday during the football season.
- 0:53Speaker 2: When you're on the remote.
- 0:54Speaker 3: One of the things that's a little scary as Flynn
- 0:57Speaker 3: can touch buttons.
- 0:58Speaker 4: There's a lot of buttons, and there's sh and y'all
- 1:01Speaker 4: know this. Ever since SEC media days, they gave us
- 1:03Speaker 4: buttons that make noises. And also the microphone is a
- 1:08Speaker 4: little sensitive too. So every time I touch my microphone,
- 1:11Speaker 4: you just look at me. Give me the deaths there.
- 1:13Speaker 2: This is that's what we hear.
- 1:17Speaker 4: You know, I'm getting ready to talk when you hear
- 1:20Speaker 4: those noises is.
- 1:21Speaker 2: What we hear.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But big weekend here in ben Rouge, obviously it is
- 1:26Speaker 3: LSU versus Florida coming up tomorrow night. Inside of Death Valley.
- 1:30Speaker 3: We all look forward to that matchup every single year.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Got a lot of games in the sec to kind
- 1:36Speaker 3: of preview as we get ready for Saturday. We've got
- 1:39Speaker 3: the Pontoon Parlay. We've got a lot to get to
- 1:42Speaker 3: and we are going to find out.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Who Tata chuses for his new NFL team. I'm excited
- 1:49Speaker 2: about that.
- 1:50Speaker 4: You know this, It's been a long time coming his
- 1:54Speaker 4: entire life, just kind of growing up an NFL loser
- 1:58Speaker 4: and he gets to right the wrong today.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Now he still might be an NFL loser after this.
- 2:03Speaker 2: We'll see how the team does, but we'll see.
- 2:08Speaker 4: And yes, to answer your text message from last night, Taylor,
- 2:10Speaker 4: it is too late to pick the Packers.
- 2:12Speaker 3: We don't want you they We had a flag football game,
- 2:16Speaker 3: so I didn't get a chance to watch the game
- 2:18Speaker 3: in its totality, but I did get a chance to
- 2:20Speaker 3: see the fourth quarter, and I'm going to assume that
- 2:23Speaker 3: the rush that the Packers had was there for the
- 2:25Speaker 3: first three quarters as well.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it was. It's one of those games you look
- 2:29Speaker 4: back and you're like, the score probably should have been
- 2:31Speaker 4: a lot worse than it was, especially in.
- 2:33Speaker 2: The first half.
- 2:33Speaker 4: I think they went to halftime at fourteen to three,
- 2:36Speaker 4: I believe, and it was a completely dominant first half.
- 2:41Speaker 4: That Packers' defense is very scary. They're terrifying, and even
- 2:46Speaker 4: one of the most elusive guys in the league and
- 2:49Speaker 4: a guy that we all love, really just couldn't find
- 2:52Speaker 4: anything and he was throwing with people bearing down on
- 2:58Speaker 4: him every single play. And you can just tell the
- 3:01Speaker 4: energy that they play with. It's a lot like watching
- 3:04Speaker 4: the like the energy the LSU defense played with in
- 3:06Speaker 4: Week one versus Clemton.
- 3:07Speaker 2: They just flying around to the.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Ball, Guys that are love playing next to each other,
- 3:12Speaker 4: and it was terrifying there. I think there was one
- 3:14Speaker 4: play actually Jade Daniels are scrambling around and Micah Parsons
- 3:18Speaker 4: was so disruptive the entire game, and he he just
- 3:21Speaker 4: plays with an intensity that you don't see, especially from
- 3:26Speaker 4: like star players in the league. Like it's just an
- 3:28Speaker 4: intensity that is like the try hard guy in high
- 3:31Speaker 4: school that is just playing, but he's an elite talent.
- 3:35Speaker 4: There's this one play where Jade's rushing to his left
- 3:37Speaker 4: and he decides to run the ball and he's literally.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Looking over his right shoulder because he knew Michael Parsons
- 3:43Speaker 3: won yeah, immediately.
- 3:45Speaker 4: And he and my part was so disrupted. He's trying
- 3:48Speaker 4: to figure out how soon this guy's going to like
- 3:51Speaker 4: eat me up, and he loses sight of the corner
- 3:55Speaker 4: that comes in just takes them out of me. It
- 3:56Speaker 4: could have been a nasty shot to Jayden's legs, and he.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Got up a tough kid.
- 4:00Speaker 4: It's amazing what kind of for not being like a
- 4:03Speaker 4: real big stout kid.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It's amazing how much punishment Jayden can take.
- 4:07Speaker 3: So they were getting home, I mean with just their
- 4:10Speaker 3: defensive line rush. But even when they were, the Commanders
- 4:12Speaker 3: had a horrific game plan in being able to pick
- 4:16Speaker 3: up the fifth blitzer now and it look unders saying
- 4:18Speaker 3: when you're having success rushing four, it opens up a
- 4:21Speaker 3: lot of things.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It creates confusion.
- 4:23Speaker 3: But they would rush forward, then they'd add the fifth
- 4:25Speaker 3: and ah, we're good.
- 4:26Speaker 2: We're just not gonna pick that guy up. And I'm like, well, they.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Keep doing this, they're gonna have to find another quarterback.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Well, you could tell there was a lot of emphasis
- 4:34Speaker 4: on the back to chip and help the tackle. They
- 4:39Speaker 4: had a rookie rookie right tackle and who was lined
- 4:41Speaker 4: up against you know, on number one a lot, so
- 4:44Speaker 4: you could tell there was a big emphasis on protect
- 4:47Speaker 4: the tackles. Let's chip Parsons, let's chip these other guys,
- 4:50Speaker 4: and so it's hard to do them. It's a back
- 4:52Speaker 4: you know, it's hard to do that, and it's hard
- 4:54Speaker 4: to look all right.
- 4:55Speaker 2: My coach has been.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Telling me all week, I got to help the tackle.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I got to help the tackle.
- 4:58Speaker 4: And then all of a sudden, you have a slow
- 5:01Speaker 4: rolling pressure from a linebacker that you didn't think was coming.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Good game plan for the Packers up it.
- 5:07Speaker 4: I mean, I was watching that game, and I'm watching
- 5:10Speaker 4: the game plan, watching the Commanders, and you know, I'm
- 5:12Speaker 4: cheering for for Jade to do well because I do
- 5:14Speaker 4: want him to do well.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And it's like, what do you do. It's one of
- 5:19Speaker 2: those games.
- 5:20Speaker 4: We're just like, man, you gotta take your hat off
- 5:21Speaker 4: and just hopefully you catch him later on down the
- 5:25Speaker 4: road and the you know, maybe they're a little bit
- 5:26Speaker 4: more nicked up, maybe there's.
- 5:28Speaker 2: A little less energy on defense.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You gotta have a better game plan for Michael Parsons too.
- 5:32Speaker 3: And I'm not saying you ever just stop him and
- 5:34Speaker 3: Taytay got I mean.
- 5:35Speaker 2: He's splitting double teams, what else? What else do you do?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Good thing that you chose to pick another team because
- 5:41Speaker 3: the Cowboys just getting rid of that guy. Yeah, I
- 5:45Speaker 3: mean he's splitting double teams also, but like they telegraphed
- 5:47Speaker 3: when they were going to do it too, you know
- 5:49Speaker 3: what I mean. Like you have to be very creative
- 5:51Speaker 3: when you have Michael Parsons. Then when you play action pass,
- 5:55Speaker 3: like it's a play action power and he's rushing upfield
- 5:58Speaker 3: and the guard cleans him up, you got to do
- 6:00Speaker 3: things that you normally wouldn't do or don't do. I
- 6:04Speaker 3: guess you can't do conventional things against Michael Parsons. Yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 3: Michael Parsons, Like Jerry Jones said, yes, not Micah though.
- 6:12Speaker 4: And it's really if you watch that, it's such a
- 6:15Speaker 4: it's such an amazing thing to watch, especially if you
- 6:19Speaker 4: are a young football player, especially you if you are
- 6:22Speaker 4: a high school player or somebody just trying to learn
- 6:25Speaker 4: how to play the game. Watch number one for the
- 6:28Speaker 4: Packers play on defense, maximum effort on every single play.
- 6:33Speaker 2: He fights through it.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I don't care if people are like choking him, grabbing
- 6:37Speaker 4: his neck whatever. It is, Like the guy is one
- 6:40Speaker 4: hundred percent speed. The entire play, and it is it's
- 6:44Speaker 4: extremely fun to watch professional football players do that because
- 6:48Speaker 4: it doesn't happen all the time. Like not every player
- 6:51Speaker 4: plays like that. Micah is never out of the play
- 6:55Speaker 4: and it's and I got like he was so good
- 6:59Speaker 4: with Dallas, but you can tell he's got that uh
- 7:03Speaker 4: that new relationship energy, you know, the you know, he's
- 7:06Speaker 4: got a he's got a new boo. Right now he's
- 7:08Speaker 4: out there and he's trying to fight and he's got
- 7:10Speaker 4: a little bit extra.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Motivation right now.
- 7:12Speaker 3: He's oh, without question, he's playing pissed without question.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Uh, it's crazy.
- 7:16Speaker 3: We're what a couple of weeks in, not even not
- 7:19Speaker 3: even two weeks in honestly, because you have one game
- 7:21Speaker 3: in the second week and it's like, all right, well
- 7:23Speaker 3: so the Packers and the Eagles one, right, those are
- 7:28Speaker 3: the two that have an opportunity to get to the
- 7:30Speaker 3: Bay Area in the super Bowl. And when you have
- 7:33Speaker 3: a player like that, it's like, man, you realize when
- 7:36Speaker 3: you don't like when you don't have a And I'm
- 7:38Speaker 3: not even saying like maybe even to the level, but
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'm talking about dominant player in the National Football League,
- 7:43Speaker 3: and like to bring it back to the Saints conversation,
- 7:46Speaker 3: like that's.
- 7:46Speaker 2: What like man I wish he's.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Had like one dominant player like that. They got some
- 7:52Speaker 3: great players like Tomoro Davis finding the fountain of youth
- 7:55Speaker 3: and what he's been able to do. Like Cam Jordan
- 7:57Speaker 3: certainly a great player for a very long peer time.
- 8:00Speaker 2: He had a great week one.
- 8:02Speaker 3: But when you have a Micah Parsons, like when you
- 8:05Speaker 3: have a Saquon Barkley for the Eagles, Like when you
- 8:07Speaker 3: have these, you know, top three at their position and
- 8:10Speaker 3: you have more than one of them.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It's exciting to watch a football game.
- 8:15Speaker 3: And like every opportunity that they have they take advantage of.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Now it's almost unfair. It's like the rest of the
- 8:21Speaker 4: NFL is probably like so mad at Jerry Jones, Like
- 8:25Speaker 4: if you're going to trade him, trade him, but like
- 8:27Speaker 4: don't give into that team right now, because that team,
- 8:30Speaker 4: that defense was good before him. Yeah, and the offense
- 8:34Speaker 4: is good.
- 8:35Speaker 2: They didn't execute yesterday. Yeah, Jordan missed a couple of
- 8:38Speaker 2: open throws, like early in the game, they should have scored.
- 8:42Speaker 4: He missed Matthew Golden probably two big touchdowns early on,
- 8:47Speaker 4: and he did. They were just a little bit off. Yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 4: they're so close. Man, they receiveing core. I think had
- 8:52Speaker 4: like six dudes. So, I mean it's I don't want
- 8:55Speaker 4: to keep waxing poetically about the team that a cheer
- 8:58Speaker 4: for or anything, but like they're each I had to
- 9:00Speaker 4: get a tatadged cheer for him too. I know they
- 9:02Speaker 4: didn't make the top ten, which just absolutely absurd. Did
- 9:06Speaker 4: you see that beautiful stadium last night? That an awesome stadium? Uh,
- 9:12Speaker 4: very good, very good.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I will say this one negative thing, what you got.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I didn't like the white helmet with the white uniform.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, a little off. I love. I
- 9:23Speaker 2: love a good white, all white uniform, you know, unlike
- 9:27Speaker 2: Penn State. They did the white out correctly with a
- 9:29Speaker 2: white you know uniform. That's right.
- 9:32Speaker 3: But did you see you know, I guess their helmets
- 9:35Speaker 3: so good, like their normal helmets so good.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, and I like the regular home that's
- 9:39Speaker 4: a good change up. It's a change up. I like
- 9:41Speaker 4: the alternate uniform like once. Yeah, so yeah, do that.
- 9:46Speaker 4: But you see all the people wearing my jersey last night,
- 9:49Speaker 4: the ten jersey, Oh yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 3: For sure, yeah, for sure sure that.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I never saw him turn around though yet shot.
- 9:56Speaker 4: I told the kids the whole Hey, there were all
- 9:58Speaker 4: those people wear like thousands of people. That's so crazy.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Did you ever tell him why?
- 10:03Speaker 4: I think spilt the big Like, no, that's actually Jordan Love, Dad.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I got Jordan Love's uh one of one right here,
- 10:10Speaker 3: and I've seen his card and that's you don't.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Try to fool me, buddy. Yeah, that I'll tell you
- 10:17Speaker 2: what that was. It's one. It's you know, one and
- 10:20Speaker 2: a half kind of games that.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I've seen of the Green Bay Packers, and they've been impressive.
- 10:26Speaker 3: They have been highly impressive. And if Jordan Love and
- 10:29Speaker 3: again he wasn't bad at all. I mean this's for
- 10:30Speaker 3: two ninety two and two touchdowns. He didn't miss a
- 10:32Speaker 3: couple though, ye, Like, if if he becomes like consistent
- 10:36Speaker 3: and continues to develop, man, they're gonna be hard to
- 10:41Speaker 3: knock out, Like especially if they're playing like an NFC
- 10:44Speaker 3: championship game in that stadium and it's four degrees.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That is true.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I mean the way this team is built though, it's
- 10:50Speaker 4: like it doesn't really matter, Like you're almost like if
- 10:54Speaker 4: they played in the Dome, they'd be pretty good too.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Like they're they're going to be used to the cold.
- 10:58Speaker 4: But it's you look at team and you look at
- 11:01Speaker 4: like a team that you want your you want your
- 11:04Speaker 4: team to.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Strive to be. Is young, hungry, talented, has a.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Good coach and a good play caller. Like they kind
- 11:13Speaker 4: of got the whole package this year. Like and okay,
- 11:15Speaker 4: I know it's two games in. Injuries can occur, things
- 11:19Speaker 4: can happen, like things will happen. And we've seen it
- 11:24Speaker 4: so many times where the team that doesn't look like
- 11:25Speaker 4: they're gonna make the playoffs goes on an end of
- 11:27Speaker 4: the year run and they win the super Bowl. That's
- 11:29Speaker 4: that could well happen, but like, as of right now,
- 11:32Speaker 4: it's gonna be there. They're hard out right now. They
- 11:35Speaker 4: are very very hard out.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And if you dabble in in sports betting, the Packers
- 11:43Speaker 3: right now, if you jump on it for Week three
- 11:45Speaker 3: only a seven and a half point spread against the
- 11:48Speaker 3: Cleveland Browns.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Very interesting. How about that?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Jayde Daniels, Can you imagine a team that is fine
- 11:56Speaker 4: around enough to hold them to seventeen yards on seven scrambles?
- 12:01Speaker 4: I mean his scrambles were true scrambles, like had to
- 12:05Speaker 4: oh heck yeah yeah, because there was a free guy yeah.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I mean, I I can't tell you how many times
- 12:13Speaker 3: it was like immediate pressure.
- 12:15Speaker 2: That's that's on Kingsbury. Yeah, yeah, cliffs gotta I come say.
- 12:20Speaker 3: They gotta come up with something like if they face
- 12:22Speaker 3: a team like that again, they got to come up
- 12:23Speaker 3: with something better.
- 12:24Speaker 2: How about the revival of Deepo Samuel. He looks playing
- 12:28Speaker 2: really well. Also, man looks like sure.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Does what's going on these Achilles? What's happening in the
- 12:35Speaker 4: water in America right now? They's just weaken it.
- 12:38Speaker 2: They doesn't have my high end.
- 12:39Speaker 4: It doesn't it doesn't have enough, It's right, So he
- 12:43Speaker 4: does have enough. It's people that have been to rouses
- 12:45Speaker 4: because that shelf is like wiped clean. I don't want
- 12:48Speaker 4: to call any names out, but there's a ton of
- 12:50Speaker 4: liquid ivy wep and so.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I don't want to call any names out.
- 12:55Speaker 3: But when you look at the shelf, there's no my hind,
- 12:57Speaker 3: there's a ton of liquid IV.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Yeah. What does that tell you? Tell me?
- 13:01Speaker 4: The people have come to Rausin's and enjoyed my high Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 4: So if my distributor is listening right now, so I'm
- 13:06Speaker 4: sure you are. I need some high here, Yeah, budd
- 13:09Speaker 4: we need you to pull up needs you pull up.
- 13:12Speaker 4: It's a little bear. That's why we only have one
- 13:14Speaker 4: flavor on the desk today, a little bear. It's a
- 13:17Speaker 4: little bear. It's a good thing. But also we need more.
- 13:19Speaker 4: You know, a good problem is still a problem. You
- 13:21Speaker 4: gotta solve it.
- 13:22Speaker 3: That's exactly right. All right, We've got a lot to
- 13:24Speaker 3: get to. As I said, we got to break down
- 13:26Speaker 3: this LSU Florida match up. We'll go across the SEC,
- 13:30Speaker 3: go across the country as well as some of the biggest.

- 15:29Speaker 2: I did.
- 15:29Speaker 4: I had some eggs, I had some bacon, I had
- 15:31Speaker 4: a biscuit, a little sausage.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Right now, I can look over.
- 15:35Speaker 4: There and I see the hot bar and it's calling
- 15:39Speaker 4: my name because it's got the steam coming up.
- 15:42Speaker 2: That's what I saw.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Yeah, you know those old cartoons like when the somebody's
- 15:46Speaker 4: cooking like a pie or cooking something.
- 15:48Speaker 2: In the little steam.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yeah, they put it in the window, sealed and then
- 15:52Speaker 3: somebody comes and takes it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yep. Yeah, it's kind of what I'm feeling right now.
- 15:56Speaker 2: You don't have to steal it. You can just go
- 15:57Speaker 2: get some.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Okay, smart yep, yep, I'll let them know. Just don't
- 16:02Speaker 4: do charge it to the game.

- 17:15Speaker 4: If you ever done, if you ever just thought about it,

- 17:29Speaker 4: near boc that is Go flow, Go flowiv dot com.
- 17:34Speaker 3: All right, let's take a look at the matchup. We
- 17:38Speaker 3: did get the injury report the other day, and for Florida,
- 17:46Speaker 3: I mean, I think the biggest thing that they're probably
- 17:48Speaker 3: were trying to get back on the field, the biggest
- 17:52Speaker 3: player they were trying to get back on the field. Now,
- 17:53Speaker 3: Dallas Wilson, very talented receiver. I know that he did
- 17:57Speaker 3: miss Wednesday's practice and doesn't look like he's going to
- 18:00Speaker 3: be able to go in this contest. But you know,
- 18:05Speaker 3: the more the more you go down the road, the
- 18:07Speaker 3: closer you get. Like some of these LSU players that
- 18:09Speaker 3: maybe we thought didn't have an opportunity to play, look
- 18:11Speaker 3: like they are ready to go. So LSU senter Braylan
- 18:14Speaker 3: Moore is probable. Now, remember coach Kelly's like, I think
- 18:17Speaker 3: he's probable. I don't know to say questionable, and it
- 18:19Speaker 3: did it's that questionable, but it has been elevated too probable.
- 18:24Speaker 3: He's got that ankle injury, and it seems like because
- 18:28Speaker 3: he is probable that it's probably not the high ankle,
- 18:32Speaker 3: you know, and I know that they've mentioned that, but
- 18:34Speaker 3: it's like, okay, well is it really is it really
- 18:36Speaker 3: high ankle? Has the injury not been announced? Like what
- 18:38Speaker 3: it is like it's just.
- 18:39Speaker 2: As a low ankle, Okay, I'm pretty sure it's just ankle. Yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 2: I mean it's those high ankles are pretty tough.
- 18:44Speaker 3: But it feels like this is truly like like they've
- 18:47Speaker 3: kind of talked about it's just an ankle injury, high
- 18:49Speaker 3: ankle and an ankle injury. As doctor Stephen Atter stoles
- 18:52Speaker 3: you on Wednesday, there is a difference there.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Yeah, and the high ankle obviously we all kind of
- 18:56Speaker 4: know just because we're all.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I know that Flyn's ankle kind of has the same
- 19:01Speaker 3: situation going on from the bottom to the top. There's nowhere.
- 19:04Speaker 2: There's no difference. A site for the beginning of the end.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Yes, sorry, all right, Well let's just I mean, it's
- 19:11Speaker 4: it took you twenty three minutes to start the body shaming,
- 19:13Speaker 4: so I don't know what took you so long, buddy. Yeah, Yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 4: it's uh, I've I've had you know, I've had all
- 19:21Speaker 4: the sprains. Yeah, and certainly the high ankle one is
- 19:23Speaker 4: much severe. And we talked about like the word sprain
- 19:28Speaker 4: is such a misleading term because it could mean a
- 19:30Speaker 4: whole heck of a lot of things.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Like I said, the one that I.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Had, the sprain that I had, it meant there's actually
- 19:35Speaker 4: a crack in my bone. That doesn't sound like a
- 19:36Speaker 4: sprain to me. It sounds like a cracked bone. But
- 19:39Speaker 4: you know what, it was called a high ankle sprain,
- 19:41Speaker 4: and that's where you have the different grades of severity
- 19:45Speaker 4: on those things. But yeah, it does sound like that
- 19:47Speaker 4: it was either a low grade. Yeah, high ankle sprain
- 19:50Speaker 4: or regular ankle spring.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Now, don't ask.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Me to repeat what dr Athude said and tell you
- 19:59Speaker 4: the difference between the two. I just know that one's
- 20:01Speaker 4: a little bit higher than the other.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot of words, a lot of words.
- 20:06Speaker 2: You know what you got to tune in on Wednesdays.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Credit to myself. I stared and right in the face,
- 20:10Speaker 4: and I nodded my head like I knew exactly what he.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Was talking about.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's like you keep saying, Yeah, that
- 20:16Speaker 4: is a small talk one o one right. It is
- 20:18Speaker 4: just nod your head in agreeance, and you make the
- 20:22Speaker 4: person you're talking to feel good because they think you understand.
- 20:25Speaker 3: And I say it often, if you don't know their name,
- 20:27Speaker 3: you say easy money, like my dad says, he makes
- 20:30Speaker 3: somebody he didn't know.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Is it is an elite response, yep, because you don't
- 20:33Speaker 4: expect it. It makes you feel special because you got
- 20:37Speaker 4: to be the only easy money in the whole lot.
- 20:38Speaker 4: No question, man, this guy's thought about me a lot
- 20:40Speaker 4: of even nicknamed me in his spare time. Exactly but yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 4: I'm just a bud guy. But I'm a brother guy too.
- 20:49Speaker 4: I've recently become a brother. What's up, brother, Mmm, I'm
- 20:54Speaker 4: a brother brother out there? Yeah, I used to, I
- 20:58Speaker 4: mean subconsciously. I think I used to look down on
- 21:00Speaker 4: people that said brother, but now I don't.
- 21:02Speaker 2: As long as you don't say buddy. Yeah, it's bud.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It's gotta be bud. But I love budd either. But
- 21:09Speaker 2: you're a bud guy. I'm a bro. I'm a brother
- 21:12Speaker 2: and a bud. All right.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Here is what Brian Kelly did say about it. Braylen
- 21:18Speaker 3: took all the reps today with the first team.
- 21:20Speaker 2: He's ready to go.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I think we're going to list him as probable now
- 21:24Speaker 3: for trade as Green.
- 21:25Speaker 2: He said.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Trade As was out on the field today catching.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Balls, moving around.
- 21:29Speaker 3: He's going to be probably a game time decision. He's
- 21:32Speaker 3: not where we need him to be today, but we
- 21:34Speaker 3: still have some time. It'd be hard to get tradeds
- 21:37Speaker 3: Green back on the field. Just seeing the injury that
- 21:41Speaker 3: was I've had a niece frame. I'm sure you've had
- 21:44Speaker 3: a niece frame before. It's not even it's not a
- 21:47Speaker 3: pain situation thing. Well, it's it's fine. Like just go
- 21:50Speaker 3: up there and brace it up and go. It's not
- 21:52Speaker 3: a pain situation. It's not like it hurts, really, it's
- 21:54Speaker 3: just you have no mobility. Like the things that you
- 21:57Speaker 3: once could do you can't do anymore. And trade As
- 22:00Speaker 3: Green like, he's a freak athlete, and so for him,
- 22:03Speaker 3: there's probably a lot of things that he can do.
- 22:06Speaker 3: For me, I was limited, but probably closer to myself
- 22:10Speaker 3: than trade As Green.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I think with him, like, there's so much talent in
- 22:13Speaker 4: the receiver room, there's so many pass catchers on this
- 22:15Speaker 4: team that you don't really need to rush him back
- 22:18Speaker 4: necessarily to be effective and to be explosive on offense,
- 22:23Speaker 4: have those opportunities. You don't need him to go out
- 22:25Speaker 4: there and cut around. So I think in a normal situation,
- 22:28Speaker 4: a normal player position, you would say, hey, sit this
- 22:31Speaker 4: one out, Bud.
- 22:32Speaker 2: But I think from.
- 22:33Speaker 4: His special skill set, probably in the back of their brains,
- 22:37Speaker 4: is like can he line up on goal line and
- 22:40Speaker 4: catch a fader oute, catch a jump off. There's not
- 22:42Speaker 4: a lot of cutting, there's not a lot of juke,
- 22:43Speaker 4: and it's one move and go and you just be
- 22:45Speaker 4: bigger than the other guy.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Can you do that?
- 22:47Speaker 4: Is that something that could be a potential in the
- 22:51Speaker 4: game plan for this weekend. We don't need you to
- 22:53Speaker 4: go out there and run whip routes and dang cut
- 22:56Speaker 4: on out routes and corners and in routes, blah blah blah.
- 22:58Speaker 4: But can you give us a couple of plays where
- 23:00Speaker 4: we need need to throw that old oop to you
- 23:03Speaker 4: up in there and just line you one on one
- 23:05Speaker 4: with a guy and run a fade route with you
- 23:08Speaker 4: and have a jump ball. And if you know what,
- 23:10Speaker 4: I think that based on my knowledge of the defensive
- 23:13Speaker 4: coordinator of Florida, I just need you to line up
- 23:16Speaker 4: one on one in the red zone because I know
- 23:17Speaker 4: they're gonna shade a safety over the top of you
- 23:20Speaker 4: and line up two people so we can't throw a
- 23:22Speaker 4: fade route to you. I think that could be part
- 23:25Speaker 4: of the part of the thought process because that's another
- 23:27Speaker 4: element that shows up with a guy like that that
- 23:31Speaker 4: can be dynamic and can be just out jump you,
- 23:35Speaker 4: out tall you in the red zone. Is you either
- 23:38Speaker 4: get the one on one or they have to shade
- 23:39Speaker 4: a safety over which is going to allow somebody else
- 23:41Speaker 4: to get open over the middle field.
- 23:44Speaker 3: So like the thing actually, like if trade as Green
- 23:46Speaker 3: doesn't go in this contest. Like, okay, all right, we'll
- 23:49Speaker 3: see some red zone stuff. Let's see some red zone
- 23:51Speaker 3: route combinations. Let's see some diversity in the red zone
- 23:53Speaker 3: play calling a little bit, because I get it when
- 23:56Speaker 3: you have, you know, somebody that is not like everybody
- 23:59Speaker 3: else's out there, like Trade Green and him being six
- 24:01Speaker 3: foot seven tall and being able to jump through the
- 24:03Speaker 3: roof and all that. Yeah, it's what you're going to do.
- 24:06Speaker 3: It's a it's a red zone target and you have
- 24:08Speaker 3: different like twenty guess would have been twenty eighteen, right,
- 24:15Speaker 3: Jamar Chase like was That's what he did for this team.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Right, he's a freshman.
- 24:19Speaker 3: He wasn't an every down player, but like Jamar Chase
- 24:22Speaker 3: was the red zone guy and they would throw jump
- 24:24Speaker 3: balls to Jamar Chase and he got there and was
- 24:27Speaker 3: very successful with it.
- 24:28Speaker 2: So like, let's still do that. Yeah, he still do
- 24:30Speaker 2: it in the NFL. That's true.
- 24:31Speaker 3: So like teams had those guys and there's nothing wrong
- 24:34Speaker 3: with it, but now it forces you to do something different,
- 24:37Speaker 3: Like you.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Got to come up with some stuff.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Yep, you got to come up with some red area
- 24:40Speaker 3: stuff because look LSU last.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Week they moved the football, didn't turn it into points.
- 24:45Speaker 3: We told you the box score this game on Monday
- 24:47Speaker 3: from a year ago. You beat them in every single category.
- 24:51Speaker 3: It wasn't even close, first downs, total yards, but you
- 24:54Speaker 3: didn't score points. Right, So when you get that opportunity, like,
- 24:58Speaker 3: there's gonna be a lot of pressure you're on Joe
- 25:00Speaker 3: Sloan in this offense to put it in the end zone.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah, we have all seen the games and that was
- 25:05Speaker 2: one of them last year.
- 25:06Speaker 4: You can dominate a team in every single category, but
- 25:09Speaker 4: the goal of sports is to score points.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And you have to execute.
- 25:13Speaker 4: You have to make the plays at the big at
- 25:15Speaker 4: the big time, at the big moments, especially big games
- 25:18Speaker 4: like this. So I would expect L s U to
- 25:23Speaker 4: execute really well. I would expect Garrett nes Meyer and
- 25:26Speaker 4: the squad to come out and be on their pi's
- 25:32Speaker 4: and q's a little bit. I would after, especially after
- 25:34Speaker 4: a week where they weren't. They got out of they
- 25:36Speaker 4: had a they had a whole week to think about this,
- 25:38Speaker 4: to watch the film, to kind of reset and say
- 25:40Speaker 4: all right, now we got SEC starts now. So I
- 25:45Speaker 4: know that the attention to detail, the focus has certainly
- 25:48Speaker 4: been there all week they'll be ready to roll tomorrow.
- 25:52Speaker 4: So I'm excited to see how that passing game comes
- 25:54Speaker 4: out tomorrow. And execute's excited to see Garrett That's Meyer
- 25:57Speaker 4: work in this start of SEC play in his final
- 26:01Speaker 4: season as Atti got So yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 3: I'm also I want to see what they do with
- 26:06Speaker 3: a rushing attack. And I disagree with some of the people,
- 26:10Speaker 3: and I think it was Hunt that I saw say this,
- 26:12Speaker 3: and it's fine. We disagree a lot like it in
- 26:17Speaker 3: a loving way. No, it's fine. I mean, look, I
- 26:19Speaker 3: mean you don't have to turn on the station. You
- 26:20Speaker 3: have the same opinion. I think he called the receiver
- 26:24Speaker 3: run stuff gimmicky. I just I truly don't believe that.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I believe that these receivers do have a skill set
- 26:31Speaker 3: to run the football. Because stay with me here, Xavion
- 26:35Speaker 3: Thomas elite returner in his history, Barrian Brown elite returner, right,
- 26:40Speaker 3: Aaron Anderson elite returner. They've all had touchdowns as a returner.
- 26:46Speaker 3: And I say that to bring up when you look
- 26:48Speaker 3: at some of the stuff that they're doing, like getting
- 26:50Speaker 3: out a guy in front of them and getting out
- 26:52Speaker 3: on the edge and reading where that tunnel's going to hit.
- 26:56Speaker 3: As far as when they put their foot in the ground.
- 26:57Speaker 3: It's a lot like you're returning the football. So like
- 27:00Speaker 3: Berry and Brown and Aaron Anderson getting them on some
- 27:03Speaker 3: you know, fly swepes, whatever, you jet sweeps whatever, it
- 27:07Speaker 3: ends up being some receiver toss.
- 27:09Speaker 2: In some of these cases, it can be a part.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Of your run game because you have receivers that have
- 27:13Speaker 3: a real skill set to do so. Xavion Thomas is
- 27:17Speaker 3: one of the few receivers maybe the only I've ever seen,
- 27:19Speaker 3: that can run true counter and knows what he's looking
- 27:22Speaker 3: at and runs it the way that a running back
- 27:24Speaker 3: would run it. I think he runs outside zone incredibly. Well,
- 27:28Speaker 3: I don't call it gimmicky. I call it using your
- 27:31Speaker 3: skill set.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Yeah, you you if you have players that have special
- 27:34Speaker 4: skills like that's how you you're supposed to get them
- 27:37Speaker 4: and positions and situations that are advantageous to what they
- 27:42Speaker 4: bring to the table.
- 27:43Speaker 2: End, Dave can do a lot of different things, and.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Gimmicky is it's gimmicky is you got to be There's
- 27:49Speaker 4: a blurred line between like a gimmick trick play and
- 27:52Speaker 4: something like when you motion a receiver into the backfield,
- 27:57Speaker 4: what you're trying to do in that stuff. It's not gimmick.
- 27:59Speaker 4: You're trying to create number in matchup problems.
- 28:02Speaker 2: You're trying to.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Get always in any scheme, any play that you drop up,
- 28:06Speaker 4: you're trying to get guys in space. You're trying to
- 28:08Speaker 4: create one on one matchups with the ball carrier in
- 28:10Speaker 4: green grass, and the same can be said for you
- 28:14Speaker 4: go around and watch the best offenses in the NFL.
- 28:17Speaker 2: What do they do. There's a lot of motions, there's
- 28:19Speaker 2: a lot of shifts.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Why is that they're trying to create confusion to create
- 28:24Speaker 4: better matchups. When you shift and you motion, you're trying
- 28:27Speaker 4: to get your best player on not their best defensive back.
- 28:31Speaker 2: You're trying to decipher if they're in man or zone.
- 28:33Speaker 4: You're trying to create formationally and create chaos before the
- 28:39Speaker 4: snap with motions and shifts to make them communicate a
- 28:42Speaker 4: lot so you can have your best matchup and get
- 28:44Speaker 4: your best athletes in the most advantageous situation possible, which
- 28:49Speaker 4: is the same thing that LSU does with Xavion in
- 28:52Speaker 4: motion them into the backfield. You're trying to create good numbers.
- 28:56Speaker 4: It's not a trick or a gimmicky play. What you're
- 28:58Speaker 4: trying to do is create confusion and getting blocking numbers
- 29:03Speaker 4: and let him get into space and one on one
- 29:05Speaker 4: with a defensive back with a chance a mess. That's
- 29:07Speaker 4: what you're trying to do. It's not gimmicky. It's just
- 29:09Speaker 4: trying to take advantage of the defense and trying to
- 29:13Speaker 4: create a one on one matchup with a good athlete.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I actually like it.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I don't mind seeing more of it, in fact, because
- 29:20Speaker 3: I think Xavion Thomas is a true jack of all
- 29:24Speaker 3: trades and not like they used to say about like
- 29:28Speaker 3: people that they felt like had no real skill set,
- 29:30Speaker 3: that jack of all trades, master of none been called
- 29:33Speaker 3: that a couple of times.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Not talking about that.
- 29:34Speaker 3: I'm talking about like truly like he can do a
- 29:36Speaker 3: little bit of everything. And I think l Shu's done
- 29:40Speaker 3: a good job so far. But I think you can
- 29:42Speaker 3: involve him even more. I mean, he is different when
- 29:45Speaker 3: he's got the ball in his hands. And so it
- 29:47Speaker 3: can be an extension of the run game because it
- 29:49Speaker 3: is that's what it is. And so if you're not
- 29:52Speaker 3: having success running the football because of whatever reason right now,
- 29:56Speaker 3: with just your running backs, you've got options. One is
- 30:00Speaker 3: an option too, Like he can do some different things
- 30:03Speaker 3: with the football in his hand, So you've got options.
- 30:06Speaker 3: If the running game is not working, I'd like to
- 30:08Speaker 3: see them, you know, go to something different but still
- 30:11Speaker 3: stay with the run.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, they have to improve.
- 30:14Speaker 4: I mean they did better Week one that did Week
- 30:16Speaker 4: two in the running game, which is, you know, running
- 30:19Speaker 4: games of choice, running games of mindset.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Offensive line has.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Got to create, push, got to create You got to
- 30:26Speaker 4: create daylight for the running back to be able to
- 30:28Speaker 4: make a cut, make a read. So we'll see, they
- 30:29Speaker 4: have to improve if they want to go where they
- 30:31Speaker 4: want to go this season. The passing game is going
- 30:34Speaker 4: to be there. The explosive plays, the explosive plays are
- 30:36Speaker 4: going to be there. You got the athletes. But if
- 30:39Speaker 4: you want to go and accomplish all the goals that
- 30:42Speaker 4: you've had posted on your wall off season, if you
- 30:44Speaker 4: want to be able to hold the trophy up at
- 30:46Speaker 4: the end of the season, you have got to improve
- 30:49Speaker 4: the run block and you've got to improve the run game,
- 30:52Speaker 4: whether that comes from a schematic standpoint, a game plan standpoint,
- 30:57Speaker 4: or a mindset.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Standpoint of the game.
- 31:00Speaker 4: On the execution, Yeah, at execution, So if you want

- 32:58Speaker 3: All right, then, welcome back you is oh TB here
- 33:01Speaker 3: live from Rous' is just real quick. Another quick note
- 33:05Speaker 3: on the LSU Florida game. We told you yesterday the
- 33:08Speaker 3: line for this game. It opened up at minus eight
- 33:10Speaker 3: and a half in favor of LSU. It is down
- 33:13Speaker 3: to seven and a half and right now, and depending
- 33:16Speaker 3: on which sportsbook you're you're looking at, I am seeing
- 33:19Speaker 3: one right now, where minus seven and a half you've
- 33:22Speaker 3: you've got plus plus one ten all that, So maybe
- 33:26Speaker 3: it goes down to six and a half. And if
- 33:28Speaker 3: it does, you call that just minus seven then, I
- 33:31Speaker 3: mean I would, but it's not what it says in
- 33:33Speaker 3: front of me right now. But yeah, minus seven and
- 33:36Speaker 3: a half is the line, and nothing might even go
- 33:38Speaker 3: down to six and a half before we've got a
- 33:42Speaker 3: beating ball.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I hope it does.
- 33:45Speaker 4: I tell the children the dad's get around the restaurantal quick,
- 33:48Speaker 4: get off the phone, and maybe place a couple of
- 33:51Speaker 4: a couple of wagers.
- 33:54Speaker 2: We'll see easy money, you know what I mean? All
- 33:59Speaker 2: so easy money?
- 34:00Speaker 3: Okay, okay, like that kind of easy money, Okay, just
- 34:03Speaker 3: making sure didn't know what you were telling me talking
- 34:06Speaker 3: about whoa thought I thought you were saying.
- 34:09Speaker 2: You're saying like it's a guarantee you well.

- 35:09Speaker 3: All right, let's go quickly around some of the other
- 35:12Speaker 3: games in the Southeastern Conference, some of the ones we'll
- 35:15Speaker 3: spend more time on. Obviously, we're not gonna spend a
- 35:18Speaker 3: lot of time on Oklahoma and Temple. It's in Philly,
- 35:22Speaker 3: it's in Lincoln Financial Field. Oklahoma's traveling to Temple not
- 35:26Speaker 3: really sure why, but it is a game in Temple, Well,
- 35:30Speaker 3: it is a game. Temple's pretty excited to be hosting Oklahoma,
- 35:33Speaker 3: and I get it. I understand why. It's probably going
- 35:34Speaker 3: to be one of their biggest crowds that they've had.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Oklahoma is a twenty three and a half point favorite, though,
- 35:40Speaker 3: so fully expect the Sooners to take care of business
- 35:42Speaker 3: there in Philly, Wisconsin traveling.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I know what kind of owl they are. They're a
- 35:49Speaker 4: specific type. There's more than one ol.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I have barred ow. It does snow out. I didn't
- 35:57Speaker 2: grow up in the country. I don't know. But you
- 35:59Speaker 2: can sue yourself a redneck a little bit, right, Yeah, but.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I don't know about owls, like I'm saying, like on
- 36:06Speaker 3: a farm country, you know what I'm saying.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yep.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Well, let's see, we got a great horned owl, a
- 36:09Speaker 4: little owl, barred owl, which is we have a bunch
- 36:12Speaker 4: of bard owls in our backyard. Bunch they always talk
- 36:14Speaker 4: to us. And there's a barn owl burrowing owl.
- 36:20Speaker 2: So yeah, I didn't know that. Lots of owls.
- 36:23Speaker 4: The more you know, well, I mean, what about the
- 36:26Speaker 4: owls from Dumb and Dumber? They were they were endangered.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Okay, that's very true. Where there was two, there was
- 36:33Speaker 2: only one. Yep, dead, fair enough. They got to be extinct. Now,
- 36:38Speaker 2: those that type of owl, that's a long time. It
- 36:39Speaker 2: goes thirty five years ago. Yep.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Have you ever seen an owl without any feathers? No tiny,
- 36:47Speaker 4: tiny little things?
- 36:48Speaker 2: When have you seen an owl without? Picture?
- 36:51Speaker 4: Really like it was a sick owl. We watched a
- 36:53Speaker 4: lot of animal documentaries too at the house.
- 36:54Speaker 2: The kids love them. Yeah, you see them.
- 36:56Speaker 4: They's just because they look so big and thick and
- 36:59Speaker 4: aggressive with all their feathers.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Anyway, we do different things with our spare time.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Wisconsin, Alabama, the Badgers, any any Badger notes?
- 37:09Speaker 4: That was tons bud notes. They're gonna They're gonna jump around.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Are they playing? Where are they playing?
- 37:16Speaker 2: Now?
- 37:16Speaker 3: They're playing Tuscaloosa. They played this game in Camp Randle
- 37:19Speaker 3: last year.
- 37:21Speaker 2: No, I don't, I don't.
- 37:22Speaker 4: I don't have anything on the Wisconsin Badgers this year.
- 37:26Speaker 4: If ron Dane's not playing for him, I don't know.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Give me one more, one more Wisconsin. Oh, there you go,
- 37:34Speaker 4: there we go. That's what I was thinking. You would say,
- 37:38Speaker 4: you know what the line on that game is? Nine
- 37:44Speaker 4: twenty one and a half really in favor of Alabama. Yeah, wow,
- 37:49Speaker 4: it's Wisconsin twenty one two and oh, I mean a
- 37:54Speaker 4: lot of two o's out there.
- 37:56Speaker 3: I mean, I love Luke Fickle and he you know,
- 37:59Speaker 3: he's he's led. He was the only coach during the
- 38:01Speaker 3: fourteen playoff era that led a G five team to
- 38:04Speaker 3: the college football Playoff, the only one. And he waited
- 38:07Speaker 3: for the right job. Like there's a lot of people
- 38:09Speaker 3: think that he was up for Notre Dame and all
- 38:12Speaker 3: these jobs and he's like, no, I want to wait.
- 38:14Speaker 3: And he waited for Wisconsin. They ain't looked like Wisconsin
- 38:18Speaker 3: that I knew that you know was playing when we
- 38:20Speaker 3: were playing.
- 38:21Speaker 4: No, Wisconsin was uh. They always had a back, There
- 38:24Speaker 4: was always a threat, had a defense. Yeah, they were
- 38:26Speaker 4: always a threat. They were going to lose the last
- 38:28Speaker 4: game of the season no matter where it was, but
- 38:30Speaker 4: it was they were a threat. Yeah, they were a
- 38:32Speaker 4: nine to three threat. But at some point every year
- 38:37Speaker 4: they were seven to zh Yeah, seven and oh every year.
- 38:39Speaker 4: I agree, And man, I know the two and oh
- 38:42Speaker 4: this year. But like the Chargers, if if well, charge
- 38:45Speaker 4: a little bit different.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Now, don't be on your high horse with the Packers.
- 38:48Speaker 2: That's what they said about Wisconsin.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Bill Chargers took care of the Chiefs in Brazil, Okay,
- 38:55Speaker 3: and they all know, I know Herbie wouldn't miss those.
- 38:58Speaker 2: The Chiefs don't play well Brazil. They never have. They
- 39:01Speaker 2: don't do it. I've always said it. I've always said it.
- 39:04Speaker 2: We've always still games don't count. Uh.
- 39:07Speaker 3: You've also got South Alabama traveling to Jorden here to
- 39:11Speaker 3: take on the Auburn Tigers.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Auburn a twenty four and a half point favorite.
- 39:15Speaker 3: It's the Louisiana Lafayette traveling to Como and Memorial Stadium
- 39:19Speaker 3: to take on m i Z and that is a
- 39:22Speaker 3: twenty seven and a half point line in favor of
- 39:25Speaker 3: the Missouri Tigers. We'll step away now and when we
- 39:29Speaker 3: come back, we'll get into some of the nitty gritty games,
- 39:32Speaker 3: some of the best games in the country that happened
- 39:34Speaker 3: to be in the SEC as well. We'll do it
- 39:37Speaker 3: here live from Rouses on OTB off the bench. All right,
- 39:43Speaker 3: go to Central Plumbing dot org. That is website for
- 39:46Speaker 3: you probably guess it's Central Plumbing. And look, this is
- 39:50Speaker 3: one of those situations where we just like we're telling
- 39:52Speaker 3: you because it is factual. Man, this is a family
- 39:55Speaker 3: owned business and this is the Pain family, and they.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Care about you.
- 39:59Speaker 3: They care about the Baton area because yeah it's Central
- 40:01Speaker 3: Plumbing and it's in Central, but it's also the entire
- 40:04Speaker 3: greater Baton Rouge area. Man, Love the Pain family. Love
- 40:07Speaker 3: getting to know them over the last couple of years.
- 40:09Speaker 3: You can give them a call two two five nine
- 40:11Speaker 3: two five eighty five fifty two. That is the number
- 40:15Speaker 3: for twenty four seven three sixty five. Weekend, holiday, does

- 40:20Speaker 3: there every single time. And when you've got a remodel
- 40:24Speaker 3: right now, you home or business, they're going to be

- 40:29Speaker 3: They got you covered every single time over at Central

- 40:36Speaker 4: if there is ever an issue, no matter is at
- 40:38Speaker 4: your house, at your place of business, whatever it is.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Twenty four seven service two five ninety two five eight
- 40:42Speaker 4: five five.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Two blocked in ill us you football twenty four to
- 41:01Speaker 1: seven you're listening to off the.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Bench, all right, welcome back again.
- 41:09Speaker 3: It is OTP here live from Rous's on Burbank. Because
- 41:14Speaker 3: we continue on looking at the other games in the SEC.
- 41:18Speaker 3: You've got UTEP and Texas. Texas is a forty and
- 41:21Speaker 3: a half point favorite. You've got Alcorn State and Mississippi State.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Mississippi State a big favorite, not even a line in
- 41:29Speaker 3: some places because it's an FCS opponent. But Mississippi State
- 41:32Speaker 3: coming off at big win against Arizona State, certainly fully
- 41:37Speaker 3: expect them to take care of business inside of Davis
- 41:39Speaker 3: Wade Stadium. Let's get to some of the other matchups
- 41:43Speaker 3: real quick before we get to the big ones. Eastern Michigan,
- 41:45Speaker 3: Kentucky in Lexington and Kentucky Big twenty five and a
- 41:48Speaker 3: half point favorite.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Georgia Tennessee.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Georgia right now on the road in Nieland a three
- 41:55Speaker 3: and a half point favorite. Probably no surprise just because
- 41:58Speaker 3: of recent history. Tennessee's look great though.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Actually I'm looking on I'm looking on Draft Kings right now.
- 42:03Speaker 4: They're Tennessee George's four point favorite.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Up to four.
- 42:08Speaker 3: It's wild, right, what do you think? I just don't
- 42:13Speaker 3: know if Tennessee's ready for this game. They've really struggled,
- 42:16Speaker 3: they haven't beaten Georgia since Josh Dobbs was a quarterback
- 42:19Speaker 3: and they.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Play them every year. I just don't know that they're
- 42:22Speaker 2: ready right now.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I think they're much better than I thought they would be,
- 42:26Speaker 3: but I'm not sure they're ready to compete in this game,
- 42:29Speaker 3: not compete to win.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's ap to win. Yes, the.
- 42:35Speaker 4: They've been more explosive man this year than we surely
- 42:37Speaker 4: with that question. They're they're completing more passes down the
- 42:40Speaker 4: field better than they did last year. Their their quarterback
- 42:43Speaker 4: swap has proven to be a great move, and it
- 42:47Speaker 4: kind of proves on what kind of what kind of
- 42:49Speaker 4: coach that Josh Haipel is. I believe in him as
- 42:53Speaker 4: a coach and an offensive designer, but I kind of
- 42:57Speaker 4: agree with you.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I just don't know if.
- 42:58Speaker 4: They're ready to Can they what a big hurdle that
- 43:01Speaker 4: they've always that they've had and having to play Georgie
- 43:03Speaker 4: every single year during this you know, Kirby smart run,
- 43:09Speaker 4: So yeah, are they ready to take that jump?
- 43:12Speaker 1: So?
- 43:12Speaker 4: I mean it would be a huge statement for Tennessee
- 43:15Speaker 4: and who's kind of been a little bit of a
- 43:17Speaker 4: surprise for all of us this season.
- 43:19Speaker 2: So can they do it? Look Hey, they're talking about
- 43:23Speaker 2: it too.
- 43:23Speaker 4: They must have been listening to us right there on
- 43:25Speaker 4: the ESPN Rubber meets the Road.
- 43:26Speaker 2: For them, it would be a big win.
- 43:29Speaker 3: So there's other coaches in the SEC that need to
- 43:31Speaker 3: win more than josh Iipel, But I think he's one of,
- 43:37Speaker 3: you know, the coaches that if he wins this game,
- 43:41Speaker 3: it could mean the most too, just for his career.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Not.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Not that he's trying to save his job or I
- 43:48Speaker 3: believe if you're trying to save his job. So I
- 43:49Speaker 3: get that Sam Pittman not maybe not trying to save
- 43:52Speaker 3: his job this week, but like a win like that
- 43:54Speaker 3: will go a long way against will Miss.
- 43:56Speaker 2: But like what it would mean for josh Iipel for him.
- 43:58Speaker 3: To lose his quarterback in the eleventh hour or after
- 44:00Speaker 3: spring practice, for you know, him to lose the SEC
- 44:03Speaker 3: offensive player of the year in dealing Sam san at
- 44:05Speaker 3: the running back position, for there to be a lot
- 44:07Speaker 3: of narrative around Tennessee. Look, I was talking about it
- 44:10Speaker 3: so hand up here about them not you know, being
- 44:12Speaker 3: as good because of what they lost, and if he
- 44:14Speaker 3: can beat Georgia and he can do it at home
- 44:17Speaker 3: after they've already looked better than we thought they would. Man,
- 44:20Speaker 3: he can have a lot to gain off of victory
- 44:23Speaker 3: like this as much as anybody in the SEC.
- 44:25Speaker 4: Yeah, well, for for for Tennessee, Georgia is probably kind
- 44:29Speaker 4: of like Alabama was for LSU for a while, Like
- 44:32Speaker 4: you got to knock them off. You have to go
- 44:35Speaker 4: and you have to beat up the biggest dude on
- 44:38Speaker 4: the block, like that's that's been your guy, that's been
- 44:40Speaker 4: the guy, that's been the that has been the team,
- 44:42Speaker 4: that has been the baddest dude on the block.
- 44:44Speaker 2: So you have to go and to be able to
- 44:46Speaker 2: get that win.
- 44:47Speaker 4: It's like, all right, now the program we've set in,
- 44:51Speaker 4: We've we've overcome some adversity, I got my players. I've
- 44:54Speaker 4: been here long enough that like our program's rolling out.
- 44:57Speaker 4: We did what we needed to do to take the
- 45:00Speaker 4: next step as a program. And you know how that
- 45:03Speaker 4: that goes so far when you're talking about having to
- 45:06Speaker 4: recruit transfers, having to recruit kids out of high school
- 45:09Speaker 4: to be able to do that to say, all right, Georgia,
- 45:12Speaker 4: ain't it anymore? That's that they're not They're they're good,
- 45:15Speaker 4: they're great, Gravy Smart's amazing, but they are not unbeatable
- 45:18Speaker 4: for us anymore. So that's uh, it would go I mean,
- 45:21Speaker 4: you're you're right, it would go a long way. Of course,
- 45:22Speaker 4: we're not talking to any job security here. I know
- 45:25Speaker 4: there's other coaches dealing with that situation and it's big
- 45:28Speaker 4: for them personally, but for the program in general, Sam
- 45:31Speaker 4: Pittman goes and wins, it's not big for that. I mean,
- 45:34Speaker 4: it's good, they love it, but it's doesn't go a
- 45:37Speaker 4: long way, and it probably actually might have an adverse.
- 45:39Speaker 4: In fact, they probably want to get rid of somebody
- 45:41Speaker 4: like that.
- 45:41Speaker 2: So don't win.
- 45:42Speaker 3: All right, We'll talking about the other games in the
- 45:44Speaker 3: SEC when we come back here.
- 45:45Speaker 2: On o t be off the bench, all right.
