- 0:13Dayna Roselli: From festivals to tours, concerts, residencies, and sports.
- 0:17Sean McAllister: And the anticipated return to the stage for some rock icons.
- 0:22Sean McAllister: We are fawning over fall this week on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:27Sean McAllister: But first, today's show is sponsored by Vegas Near Me.
- 0:31Sean McAllister: It's a new free app that has everything fun to do and see in Las Vegas with some really useful features.
- 0:38Dayna Roselli: The app is in the beta phase right now, but because you listen to Vegas Revealed, we want to give you an exclusive opportunity to be among the first in the world to download it, play with it, test it, and tell us what you think.

- 1:00Dayna Roselli: It really is so cool.
- 1:01Dayna Roselli: Go to our show notes right now and hit the exclusive link, wait for an email, and follow the simple directions to download the beta.
- 1:08Dayna Roselli: The app is free and it's going to stay free once it's up and running in full force.
- 1:13Sean McAllister: If it's fun to do or see, it's on Vegas near me.
- 1:17Dayna Roselli: All right, let's get to Vegas Revealed now and spin that wheel.
- 1:51Dayna Roselli: But I'm just curious.
- 1:52Dayna Roselli: I wonder if I'm having fun.
- 1:54Sean McAllister: I hope that you are having fun.
- 1:56Sean McAllister: Because I'll tell you what, in uh upstate Western New York, uh it's going to feel a lot more like fall than it does here in Las Vegas right now.
- 2:06Dayna Roselli: For sure, for sure.
- 2:07Dayna Roselli: I mean, our fall is like summer anywhere else, really.
- 2:12Dayna Roselli: I mean, sometimes we have like really warm weather all the way through November.
- 2:16Dayna Roselli: So we'll see what happens, right?
- 2:17Dayna Roselli: You never know.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: I've been in the pool on rare occasions on Thanksgiving.
- 2:23Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:23Sean McAllister: And the water was cold, but the sun still feels nice outside.
- 2:27Sean McAllister: Now, when we get into the fall months, are you one of those PSL lovers, pumpkin spice latte?
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: Heck no.
- 2:34Dayna Roselli: I hate all that stuff.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: I hate fall.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: No, I don't hate fall.
- 2:39Dayna Roselli: I don't hate fall, but I don't like the fall decorations and pumpkin spice.
- 2:46Dayna Roselli: I think we talked about this last year.
- 2:48Dayna Roselli: It's just not my thing, never has been.
- 2:50Dayna Roselli: I'm a summer girl.
- 2:51Dayna Roselli: Anyway.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Sorry, that was triggering.
- 2:53Dayna Roselli: It was triggering.
- 2:55Dayna Roselli: So anyway, but I do like fall in Las Vegas because the weather is gorgeous.
- 2:58Dayna Roselli: So we have like 90s and 80s, and it's beautiful.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: It is, it's great.
- 3:01Dayna Roselli: But we've got a lot going on that is kind of like summer related, I feel like, because our pools are still open, you know, no big deal.
- 3:08Dayna Roselli: Those are open.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: People are swimming.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: The pool clubs are still popping, the DJs are still out there.
- 3:13Dayna Roselli: And uh this episode, we wanted to talk a lot about some of the things going on when it comes to music festivals and also some of our residency shows that are back.
- 3:21Dayna Roselli: So I know I've been seeing a lot of people in the entertainment world um talking about how like August was a little slow show wise.
- 3:29Dayna Roselli: Like ticket sales weren't great for some.
- 3:31Dayna Roselli: A lot of shows were off on vacation and that kind of thing, and usually a slow time of year.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: So now things are starting to kick back up.
- 3:38Sean McAllister: Yeah, we hope that they will anyway.
- 3:41Sean McAllister: We have a lot of residencies that are coming back to the stage or just kicking off.
- 3:46Sean McAllister: Starting with Donnie Osmond, he's back on stage over at Hara's Las Vegas.
- 3:53Sean McAllister: He has shows running uh through November, Tuesday through Saturday, 8 p.m.
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 3:59Dayna Roselli: And you know, it's funny, I still have Donnie Osmond confetti in that one purse that I took together.
- 4:03Dayna Roselli: Are you serious?
- 4:04Dayna Roselli: Yes, I swear.
- 4:05Dayna Roselli: Like it just never ends because Donnie Osmond has like a confetti drop at the end of his show or during, I can't remember.
- 4:12Dayna Roselli: And it just like made its way into my my purse, and I still find pieces of Donnie confetti.
- 4:17Sean McAllister: They did not skimp on the confetti, they did not.
- 4:21Dayna Roselli: So good to have Donnie back.
- 4:22Dayna Roselli: Excited for that.
- 4:23Dayna Roselli: We have a new show kicking off, and on September 23rd, Miranda Lambert coming to Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
- 4:31Dayna Roselli: Uh, she's excited about that.
- 4:32Dayna Roselli: She's never had her own residency here in Las Vegas.
- 4:35Dayna Roselli: Huge following and such supportive fan base.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: I know that she's a great entertainer, so I think that's going to be a really good show.
- 4:42Dayna Roselli: And then just before that, September 14th, we have Aerosmith returning to do Scissor Wild, um, that residency at Park MGM after remember Steven Tyler had that stint and rehab.
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: I think he got hurt and then he got like kind of back addicted on some pills.
- 4:56Sean McAllister: Painkillers, yeah.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: Not intentionally, but yeah, and so I'm glad he's doing better, and Aerosmith will be back with that.
- 5:03Sean McAllister: And also, um, the first magic headliner at Resorts World is kicking off a new show.
- 5:11Sean McAllister: David Blaine, of course, he we know him from doing all these insane stunts, death-defying stunts, and doing magic.
- 5:21Sean McAllister: And he has his own show over at Resorts World kicking off September 30th.
- 5:28Sean McAllister: And based on, we've talked about this before after uh David Blaine's show was announced, uh, that they used live alligators or a live alligator in the promo video shoot around the casino over there at Resorts World.
- 5:46Sean McAllister: So I'm guessing that there's probably going to be some kind of alligator element to the show.
- 5:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it's so crazy that this is that show's here already, because I remember when we did talk about it, we were like, oh, it's not for a long time yet, but it was announced.
- 6:00Dayna Roselli: But now September 30th to October 1st, and you and I were saying I think it's gonna be really good, and that they'll probably add on more dates.
- 6:07Dayna Roselli: Cause we were like, all that preparation, I'm sure, for his, I think it's like his first stage show.
- 6:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, at least in Las Vegas, um, for just three days, like we want more, so we'll see what happens.
- 6:18Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:19Sean McAllister: Um, and uh side note, just uh another kind of foul connection to the Resorts World Theater.
- 6:26Sean McAllister: Um, you know, Carrie Underwood does the NFL kickoff theme song, right?
- 6:33Sean McAllister: Yeah, and she recorded the opening, the video for that, uh, at the Resorts World Theater this year.
- 6:40Sean McAllister: So each time you see Carrie Underwood pop up before the game, that was here in Vegas.
- 6:46Dayna Roselli: Of course, everything leads back to Vegas.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: Um, bunch of shows coming up um when we talk about one-offs.
- 6:52Dayna Roselli: Uh, we got a lot, actually.
- 6:54Dayna Roselli: So I'm just gonna whiz through some of these.
- 6:55Dayna Roselli: September 2nd, you can see Swedish House Mafia.
- 6:59Dayna Roselli: I think that's is that at the win?
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: I think that's at the win.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 7:01Dayna Roselli: September 3rd, Pat Benatar and Neil Geraldo at the Pearl at the Palms.
- 7:07Dayna Roselli: That's exciting.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: And then September 10th, Imagine Dragons over at Allegiance Stadium.
- 7:13Dayna Roselli: I just saw them pushing that.
- 7:15Dayna Roselli: That's gonna be fun because they're from Las Vegas and they always love playing Vegas shows.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: They've been all over the world with their tour.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: And then October 12th, 14th to 15th, 19th, 21st to 22nd, we've got Lionel Ritchie back to Las Vegas over at the Encore Theater at the Wynn.
- 7:31Dayna Roselli: And then September 30th, Demi Lovato over at the Venetian Theater.
- 7:35Sean McAllister: Very cool.
- 7:35Sean McAllister: It'll be good to have Demi.
- 7:36Sean McAllister: I feel like she hasn't been back here in Vegas in a while.
- 7:40Sean McAllister: Uh, we have Duranda Ran coming September 1st and 3rd.
- 7:45Sean McAllister: That's at Wynn, Las Vegas.
- 7:47Sean McAllister: Enrique Iglesias uh is coming to the Resorts World Theater.
- 7:52Sean McAllister: And then Dana, one of your favorites.
- 7:54Sean McAllister: Sebastian Manaskelko is back at the Encore Theater at Wynn on September 16th.
- 8:01Sean McAllister: But then the next night on the 17th, that's when he's filming his Netflix special right here in Las Vegas.
- 8:08Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and he's had so many specials in the past.
- 8:10Dayna Roselli: So this one I can't wait for uh that he's doing this again.
- 8:14Dayna Roselli: And I think I saw both shows are tapings and then they take the best parts, I'm assuming.
- 8:19Dayna Roselli: But it said dress up, like dress up, come in your finest, you know.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 8:23Dayna Roselli: Throwback, you know, whatever.
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: And and I love that.
- 8:26Dayna Roselli: So I'm excited to see what that special will be like.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: But yeah, that's the September 17th shows.
- 8:31Dayna Roselli: I have a feeling those are probably sold out, but I'm not sure.
- 8:33Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 8:34Sean McAllister: Also at the Encore Theater over at Wynn, Diana Ross performs September 21st through October 1st.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: That'll be good.
- 8:42Sean McAllister: She's amazing.
- 8:43Sean McAllister: That's a great show.
- 8:44Sean McAllister: And a kind of a blast from the past on October 7th.
- 8:47Dayna Roselli: Oh, my mom will love this one.
- 8:49Sean McAllister: Tom Jones.
- 8:51Dayna Roselli: She loves that Tom Jones.
- 8:53Dayna Roselli: Who didn't love Tom Jones back in the day?
- 8:55Sean McAllister: Isn't he one of the original singers where ladies would like take off their panties and throw them on stage?
- 9:01Dayna Roselli: I think so.
- 9:01Dayna Roselli: And I think he would throw them back or something.
- 9:08Dayna Roselli: Tom Jones is gonna be at the Encore Theater at the Win Las Vegas.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: Limited tickets available if you'd like to, you know, throw them on stage and see if you get them back.
- 9:18Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 9:19Sean McAllister: Keep your knickers on this time around.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: But he's still kicking and I love it.
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: Tom is really talented.
- 9:25Sean McAllister: Uh fan favorite.
- 9:26Sean McAllister: This show I think is was sold out almost immediately after going on sale.
- 9:31Sean McAllister: Adam Lambert, uh, the witch hunt at uh Win Las Vegas at the Encore Theater.
- 9:38Sean McAllister: That's like Halloween time, October 26th through 29th, and that's gonna be amazing.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: And then November 1st, Elton John will be at Allegiance Stadium for his Yellow Brick Road, the final tour.
- 9:51Dayna Roselli: We'll see if it's really the final.
- 9:53Sean McAllister: We'll see.
- 9:54Dayna Roselli: But for now, we're calling it that.
- 9:56Sean McAllister: And remember, that's the show I got like$40 tickets to.
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: That's great.
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: You said you're like decent seats too, right?
- 10:02Dayna Roselli: Like a little bit high, but that's okay.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they're in the upper bowl.
- 10:05Sean McAllister: Upper bowl, but still.
- 10:07Sean McAllister: I wonder if he's gonna sing that new song with Britney.
- 10:09Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 10:10Dayna Roselli: Probably.
- 10:10Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's like a redo of an old song, right?
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: But a new song, yeah.
- 10:14Dayna Roselli: And I wonder, well, okay, let's do this one more, this last one.
- 10:17Dayna Roselli: November 4th and 5th, Brad Paisley is gonna do something called Acoustic Storyteller.
- 10:22Dayna Roselli: I like that at the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas 2.
- 10:25Dayna Roselli: So that'll be good.
- 10:26Dayna Roselli: Brad's huge in the country world.
- 10:28Sean McAllister: Man, Wynn has great shows coming.
- 10:29Dayna Roselli: I know, they really do.
- 10:30Dayna Roselli: They've been getting some good, good stuff.
- 10:32Dayna Roselli: My question is I know you signed up for the Adele pre-sale fan.
- 10:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 10:38Dayna Roselli: What's going on with that?
- 10:38Dayna Roselli: Did you get a response?
- 10:40Sean McAllister: So I got a response.
- 10:41Sean McAllister: I signed up to be a verified fan, which would allow me to be in on tickets when they go on sale to the public.
- 10:49Sean McAllister: I got a response back after signing up saying that there was such high demand that I'm now on a wait list to become a verified fan.
- 10:59Sean McAllister: So basically, if enough verified fans decide not to get tickets or just don't log in, then I'm somewhere on a list to be filtered into the system somehow.
- 11:14Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 11:15Sean McAllister: Long story short, I'm not getting tickets to Adele.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: I do have two friends that did get tickets.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: And they said they were a I want to say it was a little under a thousand, or maybe, or maybe it was like 780.
- 11:28Dayna Roselli: Somewhere between 780 and a thousand.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: They're in like the middle section.
- 11:32Dayna Roselli: So not the balcony, not the bottom orchestra, but in the middle.
- 11:37Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: And they got tickets.
- 11:39Dayna Roselli: And I said, you know, so then we started getting in this conversation of like, you know, is it worth it?
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: Do you think?
- 11:45Dayna Roselli: And they're like, Yes, I think it is.
- 11:46Dayna Roselli: Like it's Adele is on my list.
- 11:48Dayna Roselli: I want to see.
- 11:49Dayna Roselli: Oh, I'm like, okay.
- 11:50Dayna Roselli: And then we were talking about like, well, who else would you pay that for?
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: And we were going through the if you had to pick between George Michael, you know, we're talking about people who have passed away that we never got to see live.
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: George Michael and Michael Jackson, who would you pick?
- 12:01Dayna Roselli: And then, you know, we were doing all this.
- 12:03Dayna Roselli: I was like, I would have loved to see Michael Jackson live, obviously Elvis.
- 12:06Dayna Roselli: But and then I think like if I had an opportunity to see Michael Jackson or Elvis live, would I pay$780?
- 12:17Dayna Roselli: Like maybe.
- 12:19Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 12:20Sean McAllister: Like, would this be if they were like brought back to do a concert or if they were still around?
- 12:27Dayna Roselli: If they came to Vegas right now.
- 12:28Dayna Roselli: Well, obviously, Elvis has already passed a long time ago.
- 12:32Dayna Roselli: But like, say Michael Jackson, like he didn't pass away that long ago, right?
- 12:36Dayna Roselli: Like it's been a while, but I was uh an adult where I could afford a ticket.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: So say, and Michael had never played Las Vegas while I lived here.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: So if they said Michael Jackson is coming to Vegas at the Coliseum and his ticket was 780, would I buy it?
- 12:53Dayna Roselli: Probably.
- 12:54Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's true.
- 12:55Sean McAllister: Do you know what I mean?
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: Is what I'm saying.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: So thanks for clearing that up.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: But yeah, Adele, I don't know if I, you know, I like Adele, but I just it's just not on my list.
- 13:05Dayna Roselli: So I'm good.
- 13:06Dayna Roselli: But I good luck on your, and I'm curious to see.
- 13:09Dayna Roselli: But I do, yeah, have some friends that did get tickets and they're ready to go.
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: And their names are Frank and Alex.
- 13:15Sean McAllister: Frank and Alex enjoy the show.
- 13:18Sean McAllister: Hey, you know, something else that happens, excuse me.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: You're getting all choked up over.
- 13:24Sean McAllister: I am uh something else that we see all the time here in Las Vegas is there are festivals every single week and weekend.
- 13:34Dayna Roselli: Uh-huh.
- 13:34Sean McAllister: And we have a lot of big music festivals that are coming up.
- 13:38Dayna Roselli: We do.
- 13:39Dayna Roselli: And I'm just gonna be honest, I'm not a huge music festival person, so um, but I totally get it.
- 13:45Dayna Roselli: But I watch a lot from my balcony because there's a lot that takes me.
- 13:47Sean McAllister: You've got a great bird's eye view across.
- 13:49Dayna Roselli: But um, so music festivals aren't my thing, but food festivals are my thing that include a little bit of music, and one's coming up that I absolutely love.
- 13:57Dayna Roselli: I have never missed since I moved to Las Vegas, and we're talking about the Greek festival.
- 14:02Dayna Roselli: If you guys get a chance and you want an authentic, fun food festival to go to, the Greek festival is here in town.
- 14:08Dayna Roselli: It's September 23rd to the 25th.
- 14:11Dayna Roselli: If you are visiting Las Vegas, um go.
- 14:14Dayna Roselli: If you're a local, go.
- 14:16Dayna Roselli: It's uh great, great time.
- 14:19Dayna Roselli: It's right there off, and I'm I'm actually blanking on the roads right now.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: So I'm just gonna skip over that and revisit that in a minute.
- 14:27Dayna Roselli: But um, it's right in the center of town, kind of right near Tory Pines and like hacienda.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: Okay, so somewhere over there.
- 14:38Dayna Roselli: And it's a great festival.
- 14:39Dayna Roselli: They have live music, they have live dancing, they have raffles, they have Greek beer and great food and desserts and vendors.
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: It's it's a good time.
- 14:49Sean McAllister: I know every year you talk about the Greek festival.
- 14:52Sean McAllister: There's so much anticipation for it, and then after you go, you're just like, the Greek festival is the best.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: You know why?
- 15:00Dayna Roselli: I think as Rochester, where we're from, um, festivals were such a huge part of our summer.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:05Dayna Roselli: And there was just they were done right, and then there's some like West Coast cities that try and do festivals, and they're just not like East Coast festivals.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: So I feel like this festival is the closest to an East Coast festival that I've found.
- 15:20Dayna Roselli: Let's put it that way.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 15:21Sean McAllister: If that makes any sense, it completely does.
- 15:24Dayna Roselli: It's more about the food and the volunteers, and they love sharing.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: Like, you've got to try this and you've got to try a little bit of this, and then it's just not like overdone.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: You know, there's dancing and live music, but it's not like too much going on.
- 15:38Dayna Roselli: Like, we even have an Italian festival here, and they like it's just weird.
- 15:42Dayna Roselli: They sell like there's like taco vendors there, which I'm like, what's what's happening here?
- 15:49Dayna Roselli: And like knockoff purses and stuff.
- 15:54Sean McAllister: I didn't know that.
- 15:55Dayna Roselli: If that make, yeah, it's I went one year and I've never gone back, and I'm not gonna sit here and bash the festival.
- 16:01Dayna Roselli: It's just not the kind of Italian that you're used to.
- 16:05Dayna Roselli: You're gonna stick to a theme, all right?
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: I was like, I don't understand what's happening here.
- 16:11Dayna Roselli: So anyway, yeah.
- 16:12Sean McAllister: It's like having a SpongeBob party and showing up as Pokemon.
- 16:16Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 16:17Dayna Roselli: Hey, real quick, St.
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church is where it's at, El Camino Road in Las Vegas, hacienda and Jones.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: Okay, uh, and a ton of music festivals as well.
- 16:28Sean McAllister: Life is Beautiful, one of our biggest music festivals all year.
- 16:32Sean McAllister: Uh, September 16th through 18th.
- 16:35Sean McAllister: Then the next weekend, the iHeart Radio Music Festival takes over.
- 16:39Sean McAllister: Uh, that's September 23rd and September 24th, and that I believe with the daytime stage over at Area 15.
- 16:47Sean McAllister: And that concert is usually televised a couple weeks later on the CW, also.
- 16:54Sean McAllister: And then on October 22nd, 23rd, and the 29th is the When We Were Young Festival, which is featuring bands like Avril Levine, Paramour, My Chemical Romance.
- 17:08Sean McAllister: Um, so that's gonna be a good one too.
- 17:11Dayna Roselli: I mean, and yeah, and that sold out quick, and I think they actually had to add that third day, and we were all like, wow, like who knew?
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: Because that's like what do you call like 90s music?
- 17:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, 90s rock.
- 17:22Dayna Roselli: For sure.
- 17:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 17:22Sean McAllister: I mean Or maybe early 2000s.
- 17:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, early 2000s, right.
- 17:26Dayna Roselli: So Jimmy Eat World is there, I know you like them, AFI, and then they're doing all these side shows around that, which is kind of cool because I feel like when you come in um to town for something, you know, we have people that live here that go to these festivals, but also when you're in town, they they wanted to, I guess, have other things happening around the festival that you could go to.
- 17:48Dayna Roselli: Like there's some shows on the 21st, and those are at like Brooklyn Bowl and House of Blues.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: And so, like, say you came in the 21st and you're going to the festival on the 22nd, gives you something else to maybe go to.
- 17:59Dayna Roselli: Okay, smart.
- 18:00Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I thought that was cool.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: They got a a show at Pearl Concert Theater as well.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: So it's called the When We Were Young Side Shows.
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: Go on to the website when we were young festival.com and all the details are there.
- 18:13Sean McAllister: Should we do some tips?
- 18:15Dayna Roselli: Let's do it.
- 18:20Dayna Roselli: Sean, I love this tip and I think it's one of the best ideas ever.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: I talked about on the podcast how I went to Illuminarium at Area 15.
- 18:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 18:29Dayna Roselli: And it was, you know, a whole space theme.
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: You walk in, they've got all this different kind of stuff on the walls, screens, and now I don't know how to explain it, but anyway, it's a whole like immersive space experience, right?
- 18:41Dayna Roselli: But like all the walls are like screens, right?
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: Like floor to ceiling, you know, and all this stuff happening all around you.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: Well, and apparently, Area 15 has decided, you know what?
- 18:51Dayna Roselli: We're gonna do some Monday night football there.
- 18:53Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 18:54Dayna Roselli: Can you imagine watching the game?
- 18:55Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's gonna be great.
- 18:57Dayna Roselli: So yeah, Area 15 is bringing this in.
- 19:00Dayna Roselli: It's a 21 and over Monday night football viewing experience.
- 19:04Dayna Roselli: It begins Monday, September 12th, and you can watch it right there with friends.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: It looks like they have tables set up.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: We also have food there, a curated menu, selection of specialty cocktails, all sorts of stuff that will make your Monday night football experience really different and fun.
- 19:24Sean McAllister: And we have, if you have a hard time visualizing what this space is going to be like for a football game, uh go to our website, vegas-revealed.com.
- 19:35Sean McAllister: And if you scroll down, you'll see um some articles posted.
- 19:38Sean McAllister: And one of them is about Illuminarium hosting football games, and there's an image there that'll give you an idea of what to expect.
- 19:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's it's a great space, and uh our area 15's always thinking outside the box.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: Monday night football.
- 19:52Dayna Roselli: We may have to do that.
- 19:53Dayna Roselli: That would be really fun, especially when the Raiders do Monday night football.
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: I don't know what that is.
- 19:57Dayna Roselli: That actually maybe we need to get on and reserve that now.
- 20:00Sean McAllister: We should.
- 20:01Sean McAllister: All right, before we post this episode.
- 20:06Sean McAllister: Um kind of sticking with the the sports theme.
- 20:10Sean McAllister: I was down on the strip, I don't know, maybe a month or so ago, and we went down to the link, the link promenade where all the shops and restaurants are.
- 20:21Sean McAllister: Um, got some Gordon Ramsay fish and chips.
- 20:24Sean McAllister: Well, that's kind of like a walk-in, get your food, and it's kind of like a a takeout, a carry-out kind of place.
- 20:32Sean McAllister: It's not a like restaurant, restaurant where you sit down, right?
- 20:35Sean McAllister: Not a ton of space.
- 20:36Sean McAllister: Um, so what we did is we went acr back across the promenade into the Link Hotel, and right as you walk in uh the doors there to the left is the Caesars uh sports book at the Link Hotel.
- 20:54Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 20:55Sean McAllister: And it is this long bar area that curves around the casino.
- 21:02Sean McAllister: Behind the bar is almost like a a lunch counter kind of thing that runs, I don't know, for as long as I could see, um, with seats pulled right up to that, and then behind that counter area, there's a whole bunch of couches, comfy seating with this giant cube in the middle, and it's all TVs on each side of the cube.
- 21:29Sean McAllister: And then if you're sitting at the counter or you're at the bar, the entire wall behind there is all sports monitors, too.
- 21:38Sean McAllister: When we were there, Wimbledon was being shown.
- 21:41Sean McAllister: And we were like, oh, this is a great front row seat to watch Wimbledon.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 21:45Sean McAllister: Uh, and what else we noticed is that in that bar area, have you ever been to one of those wine bars where you get a a card and you fill it up with money?
- 21:56Dayna Roselli: I haven't.
- 21:56Dayna Roselli: I've heard of them, and I know there was one at the M, and I never made Yeah.
- 22:01Sean McAllister: And basically you stick your card in, uh you push the button, it dispenses whatever amount of you know, beer, wine, whatever.
- 22:11Sean McAllister: They had that kind of thing over at uh the link in the sports book area.
- 22:17Sean McAllister: Uh there were taps just coming out of the wall.
- 22:19Sean McAllister: You stick your card in, it pours you, I would imagine, a specified amount of beer for your thing.
- 22:26Sean McAllister: And then you can just go and keep refilling beers yourself.
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: So they save, they save on staff, right?
- 22:32Sean McAllister: Yeah, yeah, I guess they do.
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we become the staff, right?
- 22:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's how they trick us.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: Didn't think about it that way.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 22:40Sean McAllister: But no, it's you know I was thinking, how fun I can get my own beer.
- 22:44Dayna Roselli: You're thinking it cuts down on the weight.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: So it does serve that purpose.
- 22:47Dayna Roselli: You know, you just go get it yourself, unless there's someone in standing in front of you or whatever.
- 22:51Dayna Roselli: But okay, so that's kind of cool.
- 22:53Dayna Roselli: Good place.
- 22:53Dayna Roselli: I mean, we like to think of different because we were chatting, like, where else can we watch football that's good since it's the season?
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: And we didn't want to mention some of the ones we always talk about, some of the givens.
- 23:03Dayna Roselli: We know we have a great sports book at the Westgate.
- 23:05Dayna Roselli: It's huge, it's great.
- 23:07Dayna Roselli: But something else we thought of uh after talking about Link was we have done many projects at the Strat.
- 23:13Dayna Roselli: And when we walk by that sports book, you and I always go, we got to tell people about this because it's a nice sports book.
- 23:18Dayna Roselli: It's real, and it's big.
- 23:20Dayna Roselli: It's big, and there always seems like there's plenty of seats, and there's a PTs next to it with like kind of, I was gonna say like an outdoor patio, but it's an indoor patio because it's in front of the actual entrance where you can also see the screens.
- 23:31Dayna Roselli: So if you are looking for a place, you know, that might be off the beaten path, you know, the strats to the north of the strip, but they've got a great sports book.
- 23:40Sean McAllister: I I would go there in a heartbeat to watch some games.
- 23:43Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:43Sean McAllister: And PTs has good food too.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it does, definitely.
- 23:46Dayna Roselli: You know, always good wings.
- 23:48Dayna Roselli: Um, the link promenade that we were talking about, when I was on the site, I noticed a lot of local discounts, FYI for our Nevada people that you show your ID.
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: I think I saw 20% off for the high roller.
- 24:00Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 24:00Dayna Roselli: If you have a Nevada ID, which I didn't realize.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 24:03Dayna Roselli: 20% off for service members, which is great.
- 24:06Dayna Roselli: And then I think um$10 or$5 off for seniors.
- 24:11Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 24:13Dayna Roselli: Go to the Link's website.
- 24:15Dayna Roselli: There's lots of things to do on the Link Promenade, and there's a lot of little offers along the way.
- 24:21Dayna Roselli: Oh, I think the um Nevada ID gets you$10 off for the what do you call it?
- 24:27Dayna Roselli: Zip line.
- 24:27Sean McAllister: Zip line, okay.
- 24:28Dayna Roselli: So so anyway, go to that website and check that out.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: Uh lots of locals discounts.
- 24:32Dayna Roselli: If you've got family in town and you need to go, oh, we need to do this or that.
- 24:37Dayna Roselli: Remember, you have a Nevada ID, you get a you get a good discount.
- 24:40Dayna Roselli: Or if you're in the service, a lot of our tourists come in from all over.
- 24:44Dayna Roselli: They're in the service, they get a 20% off discount too.
- 24:47Sean McAllister: And just a reminder, um, if you're looking for a compiled list of any festivals, concerts, uh, sports viewing areas, the Vegas Near Me app has it all.
- 25:02Sean McAllister: I was actually data just looking under the shows and events section, and then I clicked on festivals, and there is the uh reggae festival that's coming.
- 25:12Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 25:12Sean McAllister: Life is Beautiful, as we mentioned.
- 25:14Sean McAllister: Uh the Downtown Brew Festival.
- 25:16Sean McAllister: Ooh, that's a good one.
- 25:17Sean McAllister: Lost in Dreams Festival.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: What's that?
- 25:20Sean McAllister: Um, well, I I can tell you it's happening on September 30th.
- 25:25Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 25:25Sean McAllister: Uh, it's 18 and over.
- 25:27Dayna Roselli: Oh.
- 25:28Sean McAllister: Uh, we transform the downtown Las Vegas Event Center into a transcendental space where visitors can experience a dream world come to life.
- 25:39Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 25:40Dayna Roselli: That sounds fun.
- 25:41Dayna Roselli: It's so it sounds like it'll be a good one.
- 25:42Sean McAllister: Oh, it sounds like it's like an EDM.
- 25:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, like a future bass, melodic dubstep, yeah, vocal drive, dance music.
- 25:50Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 25:50Sean McAllister: So kind of like a fantasy land ravish kind of deal.
- 25:55Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 25:55Sean McAllister: Um, but they've got a ton of festivals.
- 25:58Sean McAllister: The some of the food festivals listed here too.
- 26:01Sean McAllister: The pizza festival is coming back, uh 7-0 brew Oktoberfest at the Orleans.
- 26:08Sean McAllister: So uh Vegas Near Me is your one-stop shop for everything fun to do and see in Las Vegas.
- 26:16Sean McAllister: And I guess that's how they got their slogan.
- 26:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I guess so, right?
- 26:19Sean McAllister: If it's fun to do or see, it's on Vegas Near Me.
- 26:22Dayna Roselli: And lucky for our listeners, we have an exclusive link in our show notes that you can click on, fill out just a little bit of information.
- 26:29Dayna Roselli: It's legit.

- 26:36Dayna Roselli: They put so much hard work into this, they have done so much research.
