Red Hook’s long-awaited Olympic-sized pool finally opens this Saturday, July 18th, after a summer of delays and setbacks — including a broken pipe last year and a flooded filter plant that pushed back the start. While spray showers and free lunch sites kept the community cool, locals are eager for the real thing.
