  Speaker 4: you it goes unnoticed when something goes wrong. What what

  Speaker 4: your doctors to tell them, hey, I think something's wrong.

  Speaker 3: The June fourteen like practically changed my life. It was

  Speaker 3: like I got I woke up and was like vomiting,

  Speaker 3: and and I said, well maybe with something I ate
• 12:39
  Speaker 3: it and agree with me. And then I called my

  Speaker 3: cousin and I told her.

  Speaker 7: I said, she said, how you doing? We check on
• 12:44
  Speaker 7: each other daily, and she said, well.
• 12:46
  Speaker 3: How are you feeling? And I'm like, I'm going up.

  Speaker 3: She knows about the shunt. She said, oh no, we're
• 12:52
  Speaker 3: going to the mercery room. Like now, she said, I'm
• 12:54
  Speaker 3: right now. I said, I unlocked the door because I'm
• 12:57
  Speaker 3: in my own apartment now, praise God.

  Speaker 7: But it's a month.

  Speaker 3: I'm only a month into my apartment and already I
• 13:04
  Speaker 3: gotta go to the hospital.
• 13:05
  Speaker 7: So I'm like, I can't even enjoy the place because.

  Speaker 3: I gotta go to the hospital. But she came in,
• 13:11
  Speaker 3: she called me, She called the avalance. They came in,
• 13:15
  Speaker 3: got me, went to the when she stayed attended, I
• 13:19
  Speaker 3: had the VP shunt. Of course they're gonna rude all
• 13:22
  Speaker 3: the cps, the X rays and make sure everything looks
• 13:24
  Speaker 3: like it needs to look.

  Speaker 7: But of course the EO doctor thought it was King.
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: M hm.
• 13:32
  Speaker 3: I knew wasn't King better than that? Because I would
• 13:35
  Speaker 3: have had way more pains. I would have had headaches,
• 13:37
  Speaker 3: I would have had vomits, you know what I'm saying,
• 13:39
  Speaker 3: would have had The only thing I had was my
• 13:42
  Speaker 3: temper wasn't even that hot.
• 13:44
  Speaker 7: It was the barma right when.
• 13:47
  Speaker 3: He said, and if they had me stay overnight. They
• 13:51
  Speaker 3: were trying to give me goes to the hospital where
• 13:54
  Speaker 3: my nerves certain actually works because that.

  Speaker 7: Was the place. So after I stayed overnight and nothing happened.

  Speaker 3: I thought I was fine, but something said follow certain
• 14:08
  Speaker 3: the surgeon that knows you.

  Speaker 7: So I follow up with him and he, you know,
• 14:13
  Speaker 7: he was like, what's going on?

  Speaker 3: So I told him everything I just told you, and
• 14:17
  Speaker 3: then he looked at the scans and he kind of
• 14:19
  Speaker 3: looked at it. But then you know, so well, let's
• 14:22
  Speaker 3: do your normal examination. So they checked your eyes. I
• 14:24
  Speaker 3: don't know what they see in the back of the eyes,
• 14:26
  Speaker 3: but they see something fluid.
• 14:29
  Speaker 7: Yeah, okay.

  Speaker 3: He looked at that, and then he was like okay,
• 14:34
  Speaker 3: and then he went back and he looked at the
• 14:37
  Speaker 3: stands and he said that's broke.
• 14:43
  Speaker 7: I said, that's broke. He said yeah. I said, how
• 14:49
  Speaker 7: it is right? He said, it just does that.

  Speaker 3: And then when I analyzed how long am I the son,
• 14:57
  Speaker 3: it was thirty years.

  Speaker 7: Yeah, and I'm supposed to have.

  Speaker 9: And that's the crazy part.

  Speaker 4: That's the crazy part, because I've had mine before, I've

  Speaker 4: never had a revision that got. I can say that, yes,

  Speaker 4: I will say that, I will say that he's helped me,

  Speaker 4: but hindsight, I wasn't getting the care that I needed
• 15:30
  Speaker 4: as far as going to get it checked and you
• 15:34
  Speaker 4: know all of that that stuff that.

  Speaker 3: You're gonna get your annual check like you should should
• 15:40
  Speaker 3: have back right.

  Speaker 7: Yeah, with this.

  Speaker 3: Because I had been with him since I was fifteen,

  Speaker 3: so he knew my mom. He knew how my mom
• 15:53
  Speaker 3: made sure I had doctor maker, I had everything I

  Speaker 3: needed to have done, you know what I mean. So

  Speaker 3: he knew, okay, the same the same way that's supposed

  Speaker 3: So when he said it was broke, he looked at

  Speaker 3: me and he said, more people like this for like

  Speaker 3: ten years, no issues. I'm can live with it longer.

  Speaker 3: looked at me, and this man literally looked at my face.

  Speaker 7: Like he was my grandfather or something.

  Speaker 3: He was like, no, we're gonna fix it four, he said,

  Speaker 3: cause I don't want to see you sick. I looked

  Speaker 3: like wow, okay, and then something in my spirit said yeah, we're.

  Speaker 7: Gonna get into So I said, okay.

  Speaker 3: We're gonna get it fished guy, because I'm not doing

  Speaker 3: this by myself. I'm like, my mama is not here.

  Speaker 3: The last time I had a procedure. My mom was here.

  Speaker 7: my mom is my here. I'm forty seven and I'm

  Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, God, you're right here, so I'm gonna

  Speaker 3: I had my maybe fifth or sixth division, and it

  Speaker 3: was so old that they still might have some tough

  Speaker 3: pieces from the older one in it. But I officially

  Speaker 4: Officially I have had the same shunt since birth. I

  Speaker 4: that the bottom half of it coun artery heart. It's

  Speaker 4: just crazy how the body works. And you were saying,

  Speaker 4: you know why they were taking your eyes. They were

  Speaker 4: picking your eyes for pressure because there is fluid that
• 18:07
  Speaker 4: that goes behind eyes. For what it was, people that
• 18:11
  Speaker 4: have hydrosyphilis can sometimes go blind, and so they try
• 18:18
  Speaker 4: to keep the check on the fluid levels behind your
• 18:22
  Speaker 4: eyes in case they have to drain something out or
• 18:26
  Speaker 4: you know. I know all of this stuff, but I've
• 18:29
  Speaker 4: never had a revision, and it's wild to me.

  Speaker 9: I'm grateful, you know that I never had to have wonder.

  Speaker 4: But at the same time, I'm like, yo, because this

  Speaker 4: this pain that I have, Like you know, there there's

  Speaker 4: days where I can't sleep for three and four days

  Speaker 4: at a time because it hurts in my head. But

  Speaker 4: then when I go to the doctor and they do

  Speaker 4: these CT and X rays, they don't mind anything. So

  Speaker 4: they sent me home. And I've gone to more neurologists

  Speaker 4: than the loss should alive. But you know, I'm here God,

  Speaker 4: God is keeping me. Last night, uh, I think it

  Speaker 4: was last night or night before, we were on Miss
• 19:23
  Speaker 4: Angela's radio show. We were talking about purpose and for

  Speaker 4: the longest, I've never known what my purpose was because
• 19:36
  Speaker 4: I I was born with the disability I was giving

  Speaker 4: up for adoption. I was a teenage mom. Uh listening,

  Speaker 4: I've been through domestic balance, I've been you name it,

  Speaker 4: I've been through it, I guess she could say. But

  Speaker 4: God allowed it and he wanted to school.

  Speaker 9: I believe what I could withstand and.
