Transcript
- 0:22Maze Maker. It's like living inside a Riddle
- 0:25that reshapes itself every time you get close to the answer.
- 0:30At first you try to solve it. You think if you just pay closer
- 0:34attention, ask better questions, match the mood, soften your
- 0:37voice, rephrase the truth, but maybe then the maze will open.
- 0:45It never does, because it's not meant to.
- 0:49The maze is the straitjacket that keeps you there, playing
- 0:54the game. It's like being cast as the role
- 0:58of Cassandra, the woman made to see what's coming but never to
- 1:03be believed by the king. The moment something is off.
- 1:07The cracks in the mask, the tremors beneath the image, the
- 1:10echo of danger before the walls collapse and the fireballs start
- 1:14to land. Gruesome in their aim.
- 1:17Warnings met with suspicion, scrutiny, silence.
- 1:23Not because the warnings were wrong, but because it wasn't
- 1:28allowed that you name the truth or see beyond the curtain.
- 1:36The day's blur in time loses shape inside riddles.
- 1:40Words get bent and forged into weapons to wield.
- 1:43Apologies turn into spells that reset the board.
- 1:47You try to name what's wrong, to find the problem, to understand
- 1:51the issue, to work towards a solution.
- 1:53But suddenly you're defending your tone, your timing, your
- 1:57motives, your heart, your past, and the hypothetical questions
- 2:01with no answers become ropes and rocks fashioned about you until
- 2:07you're tipped into the sea, off the dock of your sanity.
- 2:14Reality becomes fluid, memory becomes negotiable, and
- 2:19somewhere along the way you stop trusting your face in the
- 2:22mirror. Merciless mirror maze with
- 2:26shifting floors and liquid walls pumped full of sleeping gas and
- 2:30blow darts and poltergeists. Waking up doesn't even feel like
- 2:35triumph. It feels like an earthquake.
- 2:39It begins as a flicker, a question, like a static spark.
- 2:44Is there even an exit? One answer to any of this?
- 2:49And one day you bring a simple cup of coffee to the maze maker.
- 2:53Not as a peace offering, not even as a strategy, just because
- 2:58there was a tiny crack in the noise and truth slipped through
- 3:02like light under a door. But the maze maker dumped it
- 3:05out. Not just the coffee, the energy
- 3:09to try to play the game. And in the quiet sound of
- 3:13running liquid down a sink drain, the still small voice, it
- 3:20speaks louder than the booming Thunder of confusion.
- 3:25The maze maker wants reconciliation.
- 3:28And like a map materializing out of thin air in your hands,
- 3:33stepping down that row called reconciliation is actually how
- 3:40you come back to the lie. Every word is a trap.
- 3:44Every kindness has twisted, every unsanctioned perspective,
- 3:48experience, challenge to the maze.
- 3:50Maker's game is declared rebellious, dishonorable, and
- 3:55disrespectful. Because to the pure all things
- 4:00are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure,
- 4:06but their minds and their consciences are defiled.
- 4:11What is there to do but stop consuming?
- 4:13Stop breathing in the putrid air of the maze maker's reality.
- 4:18Stop trying to walk out by measuring your intentions, by
- 4:24his reactions. And you stop looking for clarity
- 4:26from someone who is sustained only by confusion.
- 4:31You start consuming truth that is rooted in stillness, that
- 4:34breaks like dawn, not lightning, and that comes like a sprout,
- 4:39tender, trembling, yet determined.
- 4:43You sit with it and wait with a prayer in your heart that it
- 4:47takes root and bears fruit. And then one day you realize the
- 4:52ground beneath you is not moving even when you tremble and the
- 4:57blow darts became fireflies. The gas is gone as the scent of
- 5:02lilies in a valley of green carried on a breeze, and the
- 5:07poltergeist has fled before the face of the uncreated,
- 5:11unchanging, uncompromising being of truth.
- 6:35Music. Music.
