- 0:46Good attracts good. Admired, respected, and
- 0:54trustworthy. Those are just a few of the
- 0:57words used to describe today's special guest.
- 1:00We're pleased to be joined by our friend Bitboy J.
- 1:04He's highly respected in the world of crypto, but he's also a
- 1:07key community member in our project Unicorn Fart Dust.
- 1:11I'm going to pull him up on stage with me right now.
- 1:14Bitboy, J, How are you today? Hey, Ron has everything.
- 1:18Good, good. You know, I'm finally up.
- 1:22Yeah, Big boy Jay got up extra special early for us this
- 1:25morning and we certainly appreciate that, my friend.
- 1:30Yeah, getting kicked in, I would think this is the first time
- 1:35I've waking up pretty early, so. Well, welcome, Welcome to the
- 1:40world at 9:00 AM, right? The the real, the real people
- 1:44world, the. Real people world.
- 1:46Well, hey, you know, everybody in the UFD community that I
- 1:50respect, many of them have said to me over the last year, like
- 1:54how lucky we are seriously to have Bitboy J as part of our
- 1:59community. You know, you've built a great
- 2:02reputation in the world of crypto.
- 2:05You know, I want to learn about you today because because I want
- 2:09more people like you. I think it's a big a good
- 2:11reflection on our project that that you think so highly.
- 2:15I want to learn about like what you did to gain this reputation
- 2:19that you have. So do you mind like kind of
- 2:21starting at the beginning and giving us a rundown of your
- 2:24journey in the world of crypto? Yeah, of course.
- 2:27I'll try to make it pretty short because you know, when when
- 2:30you're here for this long, it's kind of like a blur.
- 2:33And as I get older, you know, it's my timeline is like so
- 2:38thrown off because like every single day you do this and I'm
- 2:42kind of like try to explain it as fast as possible.
- 2:46But this is something I haven't talked about, which is crazy
- 2:50because I was thinking about it like a couple weeks ago, man,
- 2:53just it's crazy when I when I say it, but I was got out of
- 2:58high school. I'm actually 34 right now.
- 3:01So it's kind of crazy, but IN2000I graduated in O9 in high
- 3:06school, so I got out of high school.
- 3:09I really didn't know what I was going to do with my life.
- 3:11Like I just wanted to be an entrepreneur.
- 3:13Yeah, I got into telecom, like buying and selling phones and
- 3:18stuff like that, and I found a distribution channel that there
- 3:22was a South America carrier that was paying for a much larger
- 3:27expensive for the old iPhones. So I found the connection
- 3:30through South America and we started talking and this person
- 3:36online, I would send him tons of phones and you know, we were
- 3:40doing PayPal and all that stuff and it was just going fine.
- 3:43And one day I remember I was at a coffee shop in Jersey and he
- 3:48was talking to me and he was like, hey, listen, there's like
- 3:51this new Internet money thing. It's called Bitcoin.
- 3:55And I was like, really? And he's like, yeah, check it
- 3:57out. So I started reading and all
- 3:59that and I just like fell in love with the blockchain.
- 4:03It was like I was a gamer my whole life.
- 4:06I played like professional in Halo.
- 4:08If, if people know that game and stuff like that.
- 4:11So ultimately I thought that, you know, Bitcoin was going to
- 4:15be like the currency for gamers. I didn't really think to myself
- 4:20that, you know what it was going to be today, but I, I really
- 4:23thought it was going to be a currency for gamers.
- 4:25But you know what's crazy Ron to talk about is that person that
- 4:30gave me that information, believe or not, I, I, I believe
- 4:34in coincidence. This is crazy to say his family
- 4:37was actually in the mining the golds.
- 4:41Yeah, the gold mining in it starts with AGI forget it's in
- 4:46South America. They had a they had a gold
- 4:49mining facility there. So they actually like tipped me
- 4:53off and said hey, like, listen, you need to like look at this.
- 4:56So if for. Get some digital gold, right?
- 4:59Yeah, so like for months and months, I just like, I just
- 5:02watched. I, I looked at it and all that
- 5:04stuff. I read the white paper.
- 5:06I was trying to understand it. It was just like this new, you
- 5:10know, new money system that I thought like, holy crap.
- 5:14Like I, I think this is for gamers.
- 5:18So yeah, I, I just watched it, understood, didn't really know
- 5:23about the blockchain that much. So after about like a couple of
- 5:27months, there was a new, not a new company, but I did my
- 5:31research. It was called the Ant miner.
- 5:34They were coming out with called ASIC miners.
- 5:39That's pretty much where, you know, a bunch of miners have
- 5:41these, these big dongles that you plug in and it, you know,
- 5:45it, it, it, it gives information to like the blockchain to the
- 5:52for the transaction. That's how you get rewarded by
- 5:54the pool. So, yeah, we, we bought a, we
- 5:59bought a bunch of them and yeah, we started our own mining
- 6:03facility, a bunch of couple friends of mine and that's
- 6:09that's where I get my name. Bitboy is we were before they
- 6:13were like a sub. Bitcoin is called the Satoshi,
- 6:17right? So we, we in our mind, we
- 6:21thought we were mining bits. That's what we were calling it.
- 6:24It's called E cash. Like people really didn't call
- 6:26it Bitcoin. It was actually called like E
- 6:29cash. So yeah, we started mining it
- 6:32like crazy and it got to the point where we had a huge
- 6:36facility in Jersey all the way up to about like 2016.
- 6:43So from 2011 to 2016, I was like a hardcore minor, believe it or
- 6:50not. I, I didn't know.
- 6:52I was young. I was fearless.
- 6:54We were you. We were actually like using
- 6:56electricity that I wasn't paying for.
- 6:59Wow. Yeah, so 2016, we like, we
- 7:04actually got in trouble by the state.
- 7:07They came knocking on our door and said, like, what the hell
- 7:10are you guys doing? And we kind of explained it and
- 7:13they're like, well, you guys need to shut down.
- 7:16It was kind of like a slap on the wrist.
- 7:19But yeah, we we weren't paying electricity bill.
- 7:21And I think I ran that up for so much.
- 7:24It was absolutely insane. Today.
- 7:25They would have probably fined me.
- 7:28I would have to owe money and all that stuff.
- 7:30So that's kind of like the early stages of kind of crypto.
- 7:34It was just a hardcore Bitcoin miner.
- 7:37Wow, that, that's incredible. And that started in 2011,
- 7:41correct? Yes, I want to say I for for
- 7:432011, I was just like reading about Bitcoin.
- 7:46It was just so new, Ron. It was like the way to get on
- 7:50that network, you had to go into your command prompt and, you
- 7:55know, reach out to the Bitcoin network and, and, and get like
- 7:59a, a paper wallet and all that stuff.
- 8:01It was just so new and, and just like, I don't know, it was just
- 8:04so exciting that like I was like, I found this new tech and
- 8:08I was just, you know, I just went full force into it.
- 8:11Were were you? Were you?
- 8:13Did you fall in love with the ethos of Bitcoin at that point?
- 8:17Just out of curiosity? You were a very young man.
- 8:20And I mean, it's an incredible story, no doubt about it.
- 8:24But I'm curious, how did were the ethos part of that appeal to
- 8:28you, or is that something that evolved over time?
- 8:31So it it evolved over time, but like now that I'm 34, so as I
- 8:36got older, I start to think like, why was I so passionate
- 8:39about it? Believe it or not, like I tell
- 8:41the story a lot. I come from very humble
- 8:44beginnings before that in high school, believe it or not, my
- 8:48mom and dad was, I would say middle school.
- 8:51Like I grew up like fairly off, you know, like my, my parents
- 8:56were entrepreneurs as well and they lost all their money for
- 9:01the from the Bernie Madoff scandal.
- 9:04So in my eyes, like now that I think about it, I think I was
- 9:08really passionate to see that, you know, everybody had a chance
- 9:12of this new instrument, right? That like, yeah, they, they lost
- 9:16millions. So I, I actually was homeless
- 9:18with my mom for a year and a half, two years.
- 9:22Like coming out of, I want to say like coming out of high
- 9:25school. So yeah, I think like looking
- 9:28back at it, I think, yeah, I, I knew it was trying to be like a,
- 9:32a gamer coin that I thought like the new currency.
- 9:35But in the back of my mind, I was really passionate because I
- 9:37felt like everybody had a chance, you know, like the the
- 9:41young kid of me thought like, you know, putting 50 to $100 in
- 9:46Bitcoin and mining it. It was like something new,
- 9:49something fresh. And I felt like everybody had
- 9:51that chance back then. Yeah, that, you know, and that,
- 9:55and that kind of happened with me after I created Unicorn fart
- 9:58dust, then I started to learn about crypto and this idea that,
- 10:03I mean, even now and if I, if one of the big reasons why I
- 10:08still love UFD is the fact that everybody essentially everywhere
- 10:13has the same access to Unicorn fart dust, right?
- 10:16It's decentralized, democratized.
- 10:19You don't need to have, you know, a traditional bank
- 10:22account. You don't have to have an
- 10:23investment account with Fidelity or Vanguard to buy it.
- 10:27You basically need a phone and a little bit of money.
- 10:31And you can get involved in UFD on a equal playing field with
- 10:37everybody else, including me. And I'm the, you know, the dev
- 10:40behind it. That's unique, right?
- 10:42I mean, like, it's, it really is.
- 10:44You know, I'm a big like person who really values fairness and
- 10:48equality. And I think that when when there
- 10:50is a fair and level playing field that it motivates people
- 10:54and gets them excited and and gives them a real opportunity to
- 10:58to make a change in their life. Yeah, no, 100% And Fast forward
- 11:03a little, what I remember is, so the problem about Bitcoin back
- 11:09then was there wasn't really off ramps, right.
- 11:12So there was, there was a website called My Local Bitcoin.
- 11:18I'm throwing old, old websites. They actually shut down like a
- 11:20couple of years ago. But that was like the fast
- 11:22payment system where like you would, you know, transfer the
- 11:26you would wait for money and you would transfer Bitcoin to let
- 11:29you know different wallets and stuff like that.
- 11:31And that was like the fast-paced of like, I would say like meme
- 11:35coins back then, other than going on Bitcoin forum and
- 11:41people trying to fork bitcoins. And then you would have to kind
- 11:43of put your operating system on it and people would would pretty
- 11:48much generate those tokens. But yeah, it was, it was, it's
- 11:52just wild to see like, you know, from when, when I jumped into
- 11:56crypto, like how it actually has been progressing, you know, like
- 12:01we live in this moment today that doesn't feel like it's
- 12:05progressing. But you know, if you, you go to
- 12:08the time that where I started, it's just unbelievable.
- 12:11Like, you know, like you have moon pay, you have Ledger and
- 12:14all this stuff to to make the retail actually feel safe in I I
- 12:20still think it's the wild, Wild West, but we're we're getting
- 12:24there slowly, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:27I love that analogy that it is the wild, Wild West because I'm
- 12:32new, right? I've got a year of experience in
- 12:34crypto and, and specifically in the meme coin sector and I am
- 12:38hyper focused on UFD. But I see what's going on in the
- 12:41meme coin sector and it does feel like the wild, Wild West.
- 12:45And I want to touch, I want to get your opinions.
- 12:47One of the points I've written down here later in our
- 12:49conversation, like how do we how, how is the overall crypto
- 12:54world evolving? But specifically, how is the
- 12:57meme coin sector evolving? And are we moving in a direction
- 13:00where reliability and safety are going to become more important
- 13:06to people, you know, especially as we get more of the normies
- 13:10like you just said, right? Companies like Moon Pay, Ledger
- 13:12that are making it easier for people to get into crypto.
- 13:16Are they going to, are these new people going to be attracted to
- 13:21projects like UFD, which of course I'm hyper focused on
- 13:24because we are offering kind of AI don't say a safe harbor, but
- 13:28reliability and and not necessarily that Wild West
- 13:32mentality or extraction mentality.
- 13:35Does that make sense? Yeah, I I think with meme coins
- 13:38is always going to be like the forefront of crypto as a newer
- 13:46quote UN quote normie person comes in because you just see
- 13:50your unreal, you know, articles and money flow and and all that
- 13:57all that stuff. So I think with time, when you
- 14:01have, you know, like UFD, you have like, it's funny, a lot of
- 14:05people call you a dev, I call you the spokesperson, you know,
- 14:09like that's, that's who you are. You're a person that comes on
- 14:12here every single day. You talk about news, you talk
- 14:15about UFD and you build that trust, right?
- 14:17Without, you know, like doing scummy things and all that
- 14:21stuff. And I think with time, you know,
- 14:23like there are also other projects that have, you know,
- 14:26leadership and, and spokes and a spokesperson.
- 14:29And I think getting that attention will start to have,
- 14:34you know, quote UN quote, the normies to come in here to, to
- 14:38follow that lead rather than, you know, there there's all
- 14:41different kind of sectors in the meme coins, you know, like you
- 14:44have, which is called the trenches.
- 14:46And that's pretty much like you're throwing, you know,
- 14:48you're going on penny slots hoping to get the bonus, you
- 14:51know, and then you have, you know, coins that have been
- 14:55around for a couple years or a year and you know, they're still
- 14:59thriving, you know, despite of the price action.
- 15:02It's crypto, you know, and it's a volatile market.
- 15:05So what I always say is like, if you just need to follow up on on
- 15:10communities and see if they're active and see if like the
- 15:13spokesperson or the dev still wants to grind because at the
- 15:16end of the day, this is like, this is hard work.
- 15:19A lot of people don't see it, but like to get up every single
- 15:23day, you know, over and over again to pitch to a lot of
- 15:28people about the idea and the vision and the passion that you
- 15:31have. You know it.
- 15:34I think it's a lot of work, to be honest.
- 15:35So yeah, yeah, it's. It, it, it, it, it is and I do
- 15:41it for the community. But you, you said the T word a
- 15:45little bit ago and I want to hit back on that.
- 15:47I think trust is everything. Trust builds relationships and
- 15:53relationships build community and crypto is all about
- 15:57community. So to the extent that we as a
- 16:00project, and it's not just me, right, it's you, you're you, you
- 16:04are definitely considered to be like a trustworthy type person.
- 16:07I've heard that word said many times and I and I and I think
- 16:10it's something that you value, right?
- 16:13Your reputation, that you're going to do what you're going to
- 16:15say. And that's important to me as
- 16:18well, because like I said, that trust.
- 16:20Yeah, I feel like, like I have a relationship with you.
- 16:24I feel like I have a relationship with many other
- 16:27people in our community. And those relationships are
- 16:30built on trust, right? And then again, those
- 16:32relationships are what build the overall system that is our
- 16:38community. And I mean, it's I, I think
- 16:41that, and I'd love to hear what you think about this.
- 16:43Like to me as a newbie still to a certain degree, to Web 3,
- 16:47that's what Web 3 to me is really all about, is this
- 16:50ability to develop really deep relationships that can make like
- 16:56a difference, create real value. Am I, am I on track when I say
- 16:59that? Bitboy J.
- 17:00No, 100%. I, I think before quote UN quote
- 17:05crypto Twitter was a thing, right?
- 17:08That ethos was there where there was a person behind, which is
- 17:12called the wallet ID and you needed to trust that position,
- 17:16right? And that's pretty much like what
- 17:19we're doing today with kind of social media.
- 17:21On top of that is you're a spokesperson for UFD and you
- 17:26kind of everybody is slowly giving that trust, you know, and
- 17:30and of course it's with the community as well.
- 17:31I'm not going to say it, you know, it's all on you.
- 17:34It's it's, I would say it's, it's mainly you're the, you're
- 17:39the spokesperson to give the voice and it's the community to,
- 17:42to, you know, to outbreak that and, and show, you know, This is
- 17:46why we, we believe in UFD. And yeah, I mean, you're right
- 17:50on track that I think slowly and slowly it will happen.
- 17:55It's just that's The thing is people just have so much PTSD in
- 17:58this market, sadly to say, you know, but your track record
- 18:02shows it. You know, I always tell people
- 18:05I'll, I'll keep waiting on the answer, but tell me if someone
- 18:08that has, you know, said everything that you've said and,
- 18:12and you've, you've stuck with it, right?
- 18:14That's something you you do not see in crypto, right?
- 18:18You have all these promises and then all of a sudden you have
- 18:21all these excuses, right? So it's just like I always say,
- 18:25it takes time. But you know, your track record
- 18:27is just before we were on this, I was talking.
- 18:30It's it's very admirable of like you just, you just don't stop.
- 18:34You're, you're, you're an animal when it comes to that.
- 18:37And that, that's crazy when when, when you look at it like
- 18:40that and. And coming from you, that's I
- 18:43take that as a huge compliment. Thank you.
- 18:45And you know, I read something a few months ago, it said that it
- 18:48because it does take time. That's the the unfortunate
- 18:52reality of building trust. And it said that trust is built.
- 18:56It if it's like a bucket, it's built like one drop at a time,
- 19:00right? You just have to just takes
- 19:01time, time, time, but that you can lose it like in one in one,
- 19:07you know, event. So it's so important and you
- 19:11know, Jay, something that I've been very careful with, not just
- 19:15with UFD, but it's something I've learned as I got older, be
- 19:18very careful what you promise, right?
- 19:20No matter what, you know, make sure that if you're going to
- 19:22promise that you'll do something, that you're going to
- 19:25do it 100%. And so, you know, and I say this
- 19:28about UFD a lot, like I view it as under promise, over deliver.
- 19:32I mean, you know, this morning we have a great big announcement
- 19:36about this Kraken trading competition that we're getting
- 19:39to be involved in, which is awesome potential to have our IP
- 19:43on the sleeve of Athletica de Madrid, world famous soccer
- 19:47team. You know, there's other things
- 19:49that are in the works as well, but my, my, you know, like I
- 19:53promised the community that I would do a live stream every day
- 19:57and I've showed up every day, right, And I also promised that
- 20:00if, if and maybe when we could do a billion dollar market cap.
- 20:05I have to be very careful. I've been told I would say these
- 20:07things that I would yes, it's true.
- 20:11You know, I'm not much on DJ. You know I'm I but that I would
- 20:15strip down to my tighty whitey's and jump on the ping pong table
- 20:18and then drive around the United States and visit with all the
- 20:20dusters. Maybe the world, but you know, I
- 20:23think it's just very important that that in life in general.
- 20:27But then, you know, UFD is super important to me that what I
- 20:31communicate to the community who does trust me.
- 20:35And like you said, I really I like what you said because it
- 20:37makes sense. I do all also kind of view
- 20:40myself as the spokesperson, right?
- 20:43The development side of creating UFD was literally learning how
- 20:46to open a software wallet and entering 4 fields into a, into a
- 20:52web page on pump fun. So, you know, I, I nothing like
- 20:56you did back in 2011, right, which was much more highly
- 21:01technical. So as I as I do my part with
- 21:06UFD, it's critical to me that yeah, that people trust me and
- 21:09that, and again, you know, that trust will build relationships
- 21:14and relationships with me, but also within the community.
- 21:18And and that's what we're doing. That's what I see that I think
- 21:21is fascinating, Jay, from from my vantage point in UFD is we've
- 21:26got this and then this includes you, my friend and, and A and a
- 21:30whole host of other people like the good trustworthy people.
- 21:35And I've never really thought about this, but they, they come
- 21:38into UFD and they stay. I could run through 50 names
- 21:43right now, but in the interest of time, I won't.
- 21:45And I was telling somebody last night who's, who's a normie,
- 21:48right? And they said, well, how's that
- 21:49UFD thing going? And, and I said, you know, there
- 21:52are people in UFD who, no joke, I have twin daughters.
- 21:57I said if they were, if my twin daughters were six years old, I
- 22:00would feel 100% confident having these people babysit my kids
- 22:05when Susie and I went away for a weekend.
- 22:07Like these are really good quality people.
- 22:10And and I think that's one of our superpowers that UFD has,
- 22:14right? I mean, and I don't want to cash
- 22:16aid on other meme coin projects, but I think when I look at like
- 22:20just, and I don't mean it just by professor professional
- 22:23designations, just the general quality of the people that that
- 22:28are that are that are coming to UFD and sticking around are
- 22:32really, I think it's it's extraordinary.
- 22:35Yeah, I think you attract people like I'm a good person that kind
- 22:40of I've been around this space for for so long.
- 22:43I know who's bluffing and who's not.
- 22:44And I think you've attracted people that, you know, feel that
- 22:49trust, you know, there's, there's a like, I know of course
- 22:53that you had that hack and all that stuff too.
- 22:56It takes a lot to after what had happened, it takes a lot to go
- 23:00back on the stream and, you know, tell what's up.
- 23:03You know, I've, I, you know, like, I don't cry that much, but
- 23:07when you get that thing in your throat, I felt that, you know,
- 23:10so like, I think it, it shows like the passion that you have
- 23:13despite, you know, what happened, you kind of just like
- 23:17went for it and said, you know, like, I'm not going to quit.
- 23:19And that's kind of like that really brought to me like, holy
- 23:22crap, like runs, you know, this is a real deal.
- 23:26And it kind of has stuck with the ethos of kind of UFD.
- 23:29And, you know, I, I've been here since day one.
- 23:32So I've seen everything, you know, so when it comes to the
- 23:35community, it comes to pretty much everything.
- 23:38So yeah, hats off to you when it comes to, you know, keep pushing
- 23:42through. Yeah, well, I think that I, my,
- 23:46my philosophy and it's really been, it been that since like
- 23:50day one or day 2 when this was all a big shock to me, to us and
- 23:54Susie and I, what was happening was that there was a lot more.
- 23:59It's hard for me to put this into words because, you know, I
- 24:02tell this story about once every six weeks.
- 24:04But like on the second day when I was out on our screened in
- 24:07porch and I looked at my phantom wallet and it was well over
- 24:11$1,000,000 worth of UFD. And I was just in shock, right.
- 24:15But that much money, but it just it hit me, Jay, that like that,
- 24:20even at that those very, very early stages where I had
- 24:23basically still no clue about what even crypto Twitter was
- 24:26like, the power and the opportunity in the community was
- 24:31worth way more to me than that money.
- 24:34Right. And, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm a
- 24:37pretty simple guy, but that was life changing money to to our
- 24:41family still is, but there's still something much more.
- 24:45There's something a lot more in, in community and relationships
- 24:49that make it well worthwhile. So yeah, you know.
- 24:52I believe in, I believe it always comes back to you.
- 24:56You know that I'm a giver. So you keep giving and you know,
- 24:59you just, you always get rewarded no matter what.
- 25:02That's that's what I truly believe, right?
- 25:04So go ahead. Go ahead.
- 25:06No, yeah, that, that time is what I was going to say is it's,
- 25:13I think it's, it's really critical that, you know, UFD in
- 25:18the beginning had that sensational thrive and you know,
- 25:21we took a year for consolidation and just community building and
- 25:25stuff like that. I would rather, if anybody talk
- 25:28to me, I would rather be exactly where this project is today,
- 25:33because you're, you're prepped, you know, for it to go, you're
- 25:36ready, you're prepped. You've already seen, you know,
- 25:39the craziness, the, the DMS and, and all that stuff.
- 25:43So it's just like it's, it's a, it's a legendary story about to
- 25:48be told. You know, it's, that's, that's
- 25:50what, you know, I, I see and kind of how your leadership,
- 25:55your spokesperson, you know, it's, it's going to be good
- 25:58because you're already prepped for that.
- 25:59You know, you already seen the madness.
- 26:02Yeah, yeah, Yep. And the consolidation and the
- 26:06our ability and it's it's me as the spokesman, but it's
- 26:09everybody else out there in the community as well.
- 26:12It's all of us together like our ability to to be resilient and
- 26:17to continue to build during what has been a pretty difficult
- 26:21market overall for the last year.
- 26:24But, and Luke, and that's said this, I don't know, 8-9 months
- 26:29ago when I had them on my stream that like, and it really made
- 26:32sense to me that he's a smart guy who said, you know, like
- 26:35the, the, the good part about challenging markets and the good
- 26:38part about, about, about going through these rough periods is
- 26:42that's when the real community is built.
- 26:46And, and I hadn't thought about that.
- 26:48And now I kind of, we've lived it here over the last, what, 6
- 26:51to 9 months, but it's true, right?
- 26:53I mean, and, and if I think about over that period of time
- 26:57almost from 2 perspectives, from a community building
- 27:00perspective, the community feels way stronger to me now than it
- 27:06did when our market cap was 400 million, OK, that, that, that
- 27:10manic period. But then just from a, you know,
- 27:13and I have a pretty deep knowledge of overall markets,
- 27:16how markets work, trading, all that good stuff.
- 27:18That also over this last year that we've, we've built as a, as
- 27:24a, as a side effect of the community that the people that
- 27:28have bought UFD. And I think the statistics show
- 27:31this in a lot of ways that that we've added day by day by day,
- 27:35every single day, more people who've bought UFD who are in it
- 27:40for the right reasons and are in it for the long term.
- 27:43I think that's the key, right, is people who aren't looking to
- 27:46just flip it and make a trade and extract some money out of
- 27:49the situation, but that we've just, you know, little does that
- 27:52make sense? Like little by little over this
- 27:55last year built a solid, I, I think a much more solid base of
- 28:00holders of the token as well. Yeah, I, I, I definitely feel
- 28:04it. I'm usually loud at the perfect
- 28:07spots. I always say because I gauge
- 28:10this market, how it is at manic places.
- 28:13I think it's, it's cool, you know, at like, you know, crazy
- 28:17all time highs and stuff like that.
- 28:18But when you when you're in consolidation zone and, and you
- 28:23still have this amazing community of UFD, you know, to
- 28:26be always loud to do it every single day.
- 28:29It was to show you that, you know, you have something here.
- 28:32And it's just like I, I tell people like I don't, I don't
- 28:36usually have that crazy feeling and every single bull run a
- 28:41project really gets me that feeling.
- 28:43And that last feeling I had was a lot of people know is I say
- 28:47Shib. Shib was a huge project in 2020.
- 28:53It actually, believe it or not, a lot of people don't know
- 28:56there's, I don't even know if there's articles out there, but
- 29:00it, it wasn't a sensational until a year it was, it was
- 29:05very, very quiet, right. It was very quiet.
- 29:10And it's kind of like the feeling that I have with with
- 29:12UFD is pretty much it's, you know, it's UFD is known, but
- 29:17from the outside it's, it's quiet and people are building
- 29:20and people are, are passion and it's the same exact idea where
- 29:27UFD could go pretty much. I believe in a kind of like a
- 29:34vision and good attracts good is just so catchy to me.
- 29:38Yeah, yeah. It's believe it or not, SHIB had
- 29:41its its vision too. And that and it's funny because
- 29:45SHIB had the idea that everybody is equal in that community.
- 29:49Doesn't matter if you have this amount or that amount.
- 29:52Ryoshi, the creator, said everybody's equal.
- 29:56So when when I heard you say good attracts good, I was like,
- 29:59oh man, this is really coming. This is like, this is home, You
- 30:04know, this is UFD is home to me. I, I believe in, in my own
- 30:10perspective, you know, this is, this is a safe bet for me.
- 30:13And I wake up and I'm proud to talk about UFD, you know, and
- 30:19that's something that I always will.
- 30:22I'll wear my heart on my sleeve for it.
- 30:23So yeah. Yeah.
- 30:26Well, and and you know, you, you said something that totally
- 30:30resonates with me. You talked about a feeling in
- 30:34that in quote UN quote, that feeling.
- 30:36You know, in my decades before I got into crypto, I would I was I
- 30:41would invest in stocks and I would keep notes and I read
- 30:44books and you know, the smartest traders, whatever.
- 30:47But one of the things I, I wrote on kind of my trading plan that
- 30:51I had back in the day was I, I called it, I said trust that
- 30:56otherworldly feeling, like the feeling that you get sometimes
- 31:00where like, you know, there was a company called Antero
- 31:03Resources that I, I made a post about it.
- 31:06I don't know, six months ago was got went, went kind of crazy.
- 31:09It's a natural gas company. And for some reason I've got
- 31:12very excited about this company. The stock, it dropped from like
- 31:16$20 to $1.00. I mean, I knew everything there
- 31:20was the know about natural gas and, and Antero and I was
- 31:24writing letters to the CEO and I had that otherworldly feeling
- 31:28about it, right. And it, that doesn't come around
- 31:30all that often. And I, that's another thing that
- 31:33I, that I wrote in my plan for myself.
- 31:35Like you can't expect every day that you're going to get, you
- 31:38know, or every year even. But when that happens and you
- 31:41get that feeling and I guess I can, I joke around in UFD and
- 31:44say like my horn is tingling, you know, and I, and I always
- 31:48hate that feeling about silver. I love gold and everybody knows
- 31:52I'm a gold and silver maxi as well and have been for decades.
- 31:56I always felt that way about silver, like this feeling that
- 32:00that it was right and that it was undervalued and that there
- 32:04was real value there. And there's a pretty, it's
- 32:07interesting about silver. There's a pretty hardcore silver
- 32:11community out there, silver investors.
- 32:14And man, I just, I think I appreciate you saying that.
- 32:17And it's interesting that you say that, that you're, you are
- 32:20wise beyond your years because that feeling, my experience has
- 32:25been, and I get that feeling about UFD that it's like almost
- 32:29always right. And, and, and, and how important
- 32:33it is right to, to remember. I guess that's, you know, a big
- 32:38part of the reason why. And I appreciate you saying that
- 32:40as well. Like I'll show up every day
- 32:43because sure, my mood will go through ups and downs.
- 32:46And you know, I'm, I have life. I deal with life like everybody
- 32:49else, but I've got this real solid belief that UFD, when I
- 32:53look at look at it from almost any angle, that there's a real
- 32:57big opportunity here on many, many levels.
- 33:01Yeah, it's, it's funny because that feeling cannot be explained
- 33:04right. It's like that.
- 33:06Otherworldly. Yeah, OK.
- 33:08Yeah, that's good that I like that.
- 33:09I've never even heard about someone said saying that, but
- 33:13yeah, it's just like the day I I like, I clicked on your YouTube
- 33:19and I watched that original video.
- 33:22It was just like, oh, man, my sirens just went off, you know,
- 33:26And it was just like this person could possibly be the bridge of,
- 33:32you know, bringing in, you know, outside of crypto.
- 33:36Like crypto is this huge bubble that I think people don't
- 33:40understand and it's very hard to like get out of that, right?
- 33:43And it usually comes from a person with humble beginnings.
- 33:49And that's where like where, where UFD is it?
- 33:53It comes from everything humble, right?
- 33:55Like my PFP is Board Ape Yacht Club.
- 33:58People don't understand that it came from humble beginnings
- 34:03before it started. Celebrities started buying and
- 34:06all that stuff, right? So it's just, I bet on the
- 34:10underdog. That's what you know, like
- 34:13people weren't people weren't that big.
- 34:17Now everybody sees like board ape Yakum's like wow, like, you
- 34:21know, but like people were exactly like UFD, right?
- 34:24It was just a bunch of younger people and older people that
- 34:28just came together as a community.
- 34:30And yeah, I'm a I'm a die secretly.
- 34:33I'm just like a die hard UFD fan.
- 34:34Like that's, that's I, I, it's something that, yeah, like I
- 34:39will always talk about, right? Because it it just has a vision.
- 34:44Yeah, well, it's, it's interesting that you said the
- 34:48underdog because I've got it. I have thousands of notes all
- 34:51around me here, several of which say I think it's an advantage.
- 34:55I call it the underdog advantage.
- 34:58People root for the underdog. And and you know, on a separate
- 35:04note, when I think about the normies coming into crypto, like
- 35:10you said, it is a bubble. I've kind of, you know, I agree
- 35:13with that 100%. I've learned that over the last
- 35:16year. It's like we've got, we've got
- 35:18crypto and it really is a bubble.
- 35:20And then outside of that, most people are like I was 14 months
- 35:24ago, I didn't know anything about crypto.
- 35:27I thought I did right. I called it Unicorn fart dust.
- 35:30But I was guilty of something and I'll fully admit it called
- 35:35contempt. Prior to investigation, I hadn't
- 35:38really looked into crypto. I had no idea the ethos of
- 35:41crypto, which now I'd love, right?
- 35:43Decentralization, community, all that great stuff.
- 35:46I said, oh, it's crypto and it's, you know, whatever.
- 35:50I do think, you know, I was again, I was like the same
- 35:52friend I referenced earlier. I was talking to a a friend last
- 35:56last night. She is not in crypto at all, OK.
- 35:59And she's has a master's degree. She's smart person and but you
- 36:04know, she and she was asking me about UFD when she comes into
- 36:08crypto, right, which I think will happen at some point
- 36:11because it's it's, it's the adoption rate I believe will
- 36:15continue to go up. People like her and I think
- 36:19there's a lot more out there, right?
- 36:20Will, will maybe have heard of UFD or will easily hear about
- 36:25UFD. And, and I touched on this
- 36:27earlier, so I won't repeat it again, but like we're a project
- 36:31with great lore or a project with a great community.
- 36:35We're, we're a project that I think it's very simple.
- 36:37I want to get your opinion on that 'cause I, you know, I say
- 36:40OUFD is simple. And I think sometimes in crypto
- 36:43that's like, look down upon, right?
- 36:44Like what do you mean you're simple?
- 36:46You know, you're not going to, you know, provide some
- 36:48incredible. But I think our simplicity is
- 36:51really one of our superpowers in that, in that, you know, we're
- 36:55not promising that we're going to make some great technological
- 36:59change. There's plenty of other coins
- 37:01that have done that, that from what I understand, maybe haven't
- 37:04been able to fulfill their promises that they put out
- 37:08there. But that the simplicity that we
- 37:10have and the Unicorn meme and the lore and all of it could
- 37:15just be very attractive to a big number of people.
- 37:19Yeah, so for the longest time that was my pitch about giving
- 37:23the Lord. Cause the lore is everything to
- 37:25me, right? It's the, it's the foundation of
- 37:28how what's called a meme coin can evolve.
- 37:32For the longest time, I've always pitched that to people
- 37:34and they just, they love that, right?
- 37:35Like a, a person like you in, I don't know, it's just the, the
- 37:40basement, that word, you know, like mom's basement, you know,
- 37:44like that. That's, that's who I was back in
- 37:47the day, you know, like in mom's basement.
- 37:49So I always give that pitch of like, you know, the idea of like
- 37:53what UFD is. But recently I've yeah, I do
- 37:58like listen to the YouTube and stuff like that when when you
- 38:01talk about UFD. But recently you said it simple
- 38:04and I've gone to the term. So the term magic Internet money
- 38:10was a huge thing back in the day, right?
- 38:12That's what people said. Now I literally have changed
- 38:15that term and just said, you know, it's it's Unicorn fart
- 38:18does it's it's imaginary money at the end of the day, right?
- 38:21So that's kind of like the simplicity of like the meme that
- 38:24I see. And yeah, I, I think normies, if
- 38:28you just pitch that, it's very simple to a lot of people,
- 38:31right? And then you have the curious
- 38:32people that want to go down the, the rabbit hole and look at the
- 38:35lore and look at the community and stuff like that.
- 38:37But overall I I think the meme when it comes to term value is
- 38:42very very simple. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 38:46And appealing and it it can bring a lot of people in and I
- 38:50think maybe a lot of people relate to me, right, like I'm a
- 38:5655 year old guy who no joke bit boy J right started a what
- 39:01started AI don't know what you call this an enterprise, a
- 39:04business and and spawned a meme coin literally in his basement
- 39:10with a $100 cell phone camera and six light bulbs.
- 39:15You know, I want people to relate to me because most people
- 39:19are, are, are, are just normal, good people that don't want
- 39:25anything super fancy or complicated and, and want, you
- 39:29know, people they can trust, friends they can trust.
- 39:32And I just, I really believe that we, we offer that within
- 39:36this project and that it will provide us with benefits down
- 39:39the road. Humble beginnings.
- 39:42It's always, I say it makes it. I'm telling you it makes it.
- 39:45I'm very passionate about that. You know a celebrity or someone
- 39:50big. Always you hear their stories.
- 39:53It always comes from humble beginnings.
- 39:55Yeah, I mean, no joke, man. It's six it's and it still is.
- 40:00I could count them, but who cares?
- 40:015 light bulbs because I forgot to turn one on.
- 40:04Sorry if my lighting's off. Hold on.
- 40:08Susie was chiming in there. Susie, did you want to say
- 40:11something? I think.
- 40:12My batteries are about to die, so I just want to say hello.
- 40:17Hi, Susie. Her battery, her batteries are
- 40:20dying. You know, you think you you
- 40:22would think we'd have that figured out at this point.
- 40:25They have spare batteries but oh wow.
- 40:27No, what I was going to mention is the, it's great and I don't
- 40:32think people realize it, but every single time you tune into
- 40:37your stream, like even the vods, right, the, the, the playbacks
- 40:40is your background starts to evolve and I think it's like
- 40:44super, super great, right 'cause I, I, I know a lot of people saw
- 40:49it, but I posted that the, the silver video that you have and
- 40:53let me tell you, I went down a huge lower rabbit hole when it
- 40:58comes to like Ron and Ron's basement and stuff like that.
- 41:02But your background is just amazing that every single time
- 41:05it evolves and it's just like, it's crazy to see that, you
- 41:09know? Well, I I tell you what, big boy
- 41:11J, it evolved today. Do you see anything different in
- 41:14the background that might have something to do with you?
- 41:18Oh, the banana on the left of your shoulder.
- 41:20Yeah, I got AI. Got a banana on them.
- 41:22Those are I eat a banana every single day.
- 41:26So I, I, I, I, I, I got permission.
- 41:33Yeah, all right, yeah. Anyway, she said you should
- 41:35watch them on my have two YouTube videos.
- 41:37Oh, I've seen, I'm telling you, I've seen the whole rounds
- 41:41basement, like I had to go down a rabbit hole.
- 41:44I'm, I'm a, I'm a data person, right?
- 41:48I'm an analytics person and you're just, I, you're, I would
- 41:53call it your footprint. Your footprint on the Internet
- 41:55is something that people need to study, right?
- 41:59Because like, you know, it's, it's something that you've
- 42:02achieved. And I think it's, it's, it's
- 42:05amazing to just see. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 42:08Well, I started, you know, I was, I was 52 years old.
- 42:11My birthday is coming up. So it was four years ago.
- 42:14And I've been screwing around on on the Internet and I was
- 42:16fascinated with YouTube. Jay, I think it's the coolest
- 42:20thing in the world. You're 20 years younger than me.
- 42:23When I was your age, the idea that I could be doing this
- 42:26wasn't even on my radar screen, Right.
- 42:29So I'm just fascinated with this idea that I can make friends and
- 42:33then I can build a community or be my be a part of building a
- 42:37community and communicate with people all over the world,
- 42:41right? That was my initial fascination
- 42:43with YouTube. And I still think most people
- 42:45don't realize, excuse me, how lucky we are right now to be
- 42:49able to do this. I mean, to do this 20 years ago
- 42:53was out of the question. And if you wanted to make a
- 42:55video and distribute it, it would cost you hundreds of
- 42:58thousands of dollars. And now with Web 3, right, this
- 43:02kind of next evolution, because to me, YouTube was YouTube was
- 43:06kind of like the invention of the printing press, right?
- 43:08When the printing press came out, people were able to share
- 43:12information more readily. It was more accessible in the
- 43:15Internet. And then YouTube, I think it was
- 43:19just a massive thing. And now, I mean, I really do
- 43:22feel like that, that with UFD, like we are on the, the, the
- 43:25leading edge, right, with Web 3 and crypto and being able to
- 43:29create value. It's, it's something that I,
- 43:33it's just, it's, it's absolutely, I think like a very
- 43:37special time in, in human, in human history.
- 43:41Yeah, it's, it's building that connection online that changes a
- 43:44lot of people because they don't know that like, you know, crypto
- 43:48is around the world, Web 3 is around the world, you know, you
- 43:51streaming platform is around the world and it's just like it, it
- 43:55brings genuine connections that you can actually talk to
- 43:58someone, you know, in South America or in Asia or it's, it's
- 44:02absolutely insane, you know that like I think people think small,
- 44:06but when you look at the bigger picture here, it's just like,
- 44:10yeah, like there's people around the world that's, you know, that
- 44:14is a fan of UFD or, or a fan of crypto and stuff like that.
- 44:18And. Yeah.
- 44:20It's funny because last night I was thinking about, we've got a,
- 44:23a gentleman in our community, Vincent, the bully industry.
- 44:27And he's somebody who first learned about me from Gold and
- 44:31silver years ago. And he lives in the Netherlands.
- 44:34And I had him on a live stream the other day.
- 44:36He actually, he's a successful person in the business world.
- 44:40He's around my age. He travels all over the world.
- 44:42He actually came through Saint Louis and came down here at one
- 44:45point like 6 months ago. It was in the basement with me.
- 44:49But the point was, I was thinking about Benson and I was
- 44:51like, like, this is a real friend.
- 44:55I almost tear up saying it right, like, and he, you know,
- 44:58like this is a real, real friend that I've made.
- 45:02And it's only because of UFD, it's only because of Web 3.
- 45:06It's only because of this technology that we have.
- 45:10And you know what's more valuable in life than
- 45:13relationships and friendships? You know that that was a big
- 45:16thing. I'm sorry, I'm all over the
- 45:17place. But boy, if you get tired of
- 45:19hearing me talk, just tell me to stick a banana in my mouth.
- 45:22But but but but you know, it's just, it's, it's just an
- 45:26incredible to me opportunity that that we can make these
- 45:32friendships on. This is what I wanted to say.
- 45:34Like, look, literally 14 months ago, I would have sat down here
- 45:38and talked to you, but boy Jane said, Ah, it's all Unicorn fart
- 45:41dust. And you know, I was softening
- 45:43over 2024 about crypto and beginning to realize like it's
- 45:47here to stay. But I still would have said the
- 45:49same thing. And, and one of the big like
- 45:52enlightening moments for me was when I realized that there is
- 45:56real value. Like people would say, well, how
- 45:59can it have any value? How can it have any value?
- 46:01And I would say to my my people around my age or people who were
- 46:05still crypto skeptics, I would say, what's the most valuable
- 46:08thing in your life? If you ask most, I think anybody
- 46:11in the whole world, what's whether it's tangible or
- 46:15intangible, what do you value the most?
- 46:18And most people will reference some form of a relationship, my
- 46:22kids, my friends, my church, whatever it is, right.
- 46:26And that's I think the one I part of my waking up process to
- 46:30the real value that we have it is that the relationships are
- 46:35valuable. Exactly.
- 46:37It really is. Yeah, yeah.
- 46:40OK. So I want to switch topics.
- 46:41I want to get your opinion because you are such an
- 46:44insightful guy. Any thoughts on on if you look
- 46:48out into the future, Jay, where do you see the the the meme coin
- 46:53sector? I guess we'll focus on meme
- 46:55coins initially, let's say a year, three years, five years
- 46:58from now. Any thoughts on that matter?
- 47:02Where I see it, I see it being easy accessible for people right
- 47:10now, believe it or not, I think that the central side owns this
- 47:15territory and the centralized exchanges are seeing this.
- 47:20You're starting to see, you know, back in the day, you
- 47:25couldn't even get on a a centralized exchange without
- 47:29doing, you know, giving supply, doing listing fees.
- 47:33And some of these listing fees were just like crazy to me,
- 47:37right? Like I've, I've been on those,
- 47:39those teams, I've been in those meetings and, you know, you get
- 47:42off those, you get off those calls, you know, like is, are
- 47:45they joking? But now, now it's funny.
- 47:49Now, you know, centralized exchanges are doing free
- 47:51listings and you know, they, they know they're behind right.
- 47:56So it's it's kind of like that rush that I I really see in this
- 48:00market and where I see meme coins, you know, in a couple of
- 48:05years is the ease of, you know, trusted, you know, projects that
- 48:10peep. That's going to be people's kind
- 48:13of journey entry into, you know, crypto because you know, you
- 48:19have Bitcoin, you know you have Etherium, you have Solana and
- 48:22all that stuff. But like there's a lot of people
- 48:25that will do the math and be like, you know, it's not really
- 48:28worth it, right? Like if Bitcoin does a 2X from
- 48:31here, the average Joe that wants to put $50.00 or $100 into
- 48:36something really doesn't have a lot of exposure like as a game
- 48:41speaking wise. And that's why meme coins will
- 48:44always have that thrive, right? Because you'll hear the stories.
- 48:48I put $20, you know, I made millions and stuff like that.
- 48:51And people want to feel that and people want to, you know, get
- 48:55involved with that. So in a couple years, I really
- 48:58think that like, you know, meme coins will actually be the
- 49:01structure of like the, the journey to get into crypto.
- 49:06You know, in 2021, it was the NFTS, right?
- 49:10There was a, there was a headliner about, I don't know if
- 49:14you know, but people selling a, an NFT for 69 million and stuff
- 49:19like that. And that was that kind of scene.
- 49:21It was a new kind of atmosphere. Now memes have been around since
- 49:26Defy summer of 2020 and stuff like that.
- 49:29But it it had to mature to get where it needs to be today.
- 49:34And we're going to see a huge mania because believe or not,
- 49:36what people don't know is NFTS in 2021 was a huge sensational
- 49:42right, because you had the headliners and stuff.
- 49:44Believe it or not, I was buying NFTS in 2018, right?
- 49:48It just wasn't matured enough. And the mania happened a couple
- 49:53years after. And that's what I kind of see
- 49:55with like meme coins today is, yeah, they came out in 2020, but
- 50:01it was too early and now you're starting to see this now.
- 50:04So it will pick up and it will be the the new thing and people
- 50:08want to talk about it and stuff. So I see a huge jump in and
- 50:12retail reeling, really wanting to come on and participate.
- 50:16Yeah. And we're, and we're seeing that
- 50:18now with Coinbase. Exactly.
- 50:21You know, day by day, more and more people in the UFD community
- 50:26are reporting that they're able to buy UFD on Coinbase.
- 50:30And I have a hard time putting this into words.
- 50:33And I agree with you 100%. And I actually, I said it was
- 50:38one of the accurate things I said about crypto 5-6 months
- 50:41ago, exactly what you said that I think is the, I guess the, the
- 50:45technology matures or the, the crypto technology technology
- 50:50matures that, that yes, meme coins, including UFD are going
- 50:55to become much more accessible on almost all the platforms.
- 51:00And this idea that all you need to get listed, listed, listed
- 51:04and that you have to pay all this money, because I've been in
- 51:06on a few of those conversations myself, will kind of go away
- 51:11because of the evolution of the technology.
- 51:13Is that a? No, you, I remember, you know,
- 51:16it's funny. I remember you saying that like
- 51:18months and months ago and you nailed that like every, it's
- 51:23funny because like, it's exactly what's happening right now.
- 51:27You know that, yeah, exchanges are falling behind.
- 51:30And the only way to do that is you're, you're not going to go
- 51:33to these these projects and say like, hey, you know, we need a
- 51:36couple million to get you listed.
- 51:38Like, no, they have the money to, you know, buy the supply and
- 51:41make their liquidity pools and all that stuff.
- 51:44And that's what you're going to start to see.
- 51:46And yeah, it's, it's an exciting kind of position of where, you
- 51:50know, the meme coin sector is right now because the projects
- 51:53that keep doing especially what I, what I think UFD, you'll
- 51:57start to see, you know, more organic listings coming our way.
- 52:01And the community has shown that.
- 52:03And look at all these organic listings that, you know, have
- 52:06been coming. And I, yeah, I think it's, it's,
- 52:09it will be huge. Yeah, like HTX that was purely
- 52:13organic, you know, I mean, and we've got a great team of people
- 52:17struggle with the right word to describe it, a great structure
- 52:22of really talented people working behind the scenes with
- 52:26UFD community members, people who are donating their time.
- 52:31But the HTX listing and I joke around and say, hey, I made that
- 52:34happen. Well, no, I didn't make it
- 52:36happen. You made it happen.
- 52:38The four, one of the, the 400 people that are joining us right
- 52:42now in this live stream, they made it happen, right.
- 52:44Like the community made it happen.
- 52:46And, you know, just last week, I think it was Kucoin listed us
- 52:50and they're a big exchange. Yeah, outside of the United
- 52:54States and they're and I loved it.
- 52:55I loved it, Boy J, because they consider themselves the people's
- 52:59Exchange. Yeah.
- 53:01And I was like the people's exchange list of the people's
- 53:04coin. And.
- 53:07And you know, yeah, it seems like these think they just pop
- 53:10up organically more and more and more.
- 53:12And not because, you know, again, I'd like to take credit
- 53:15and say I've been working on that Kucoin exchange for three
- 53:19Kucoin listing for three months. No, Right.
- 53:21I was down here with everybody else in UFD working on building
- 53:26the community and building the project.
- 53:28And as a result of that, right, Kucoin sees us and lists us,
- 53:32which I think is a, is in some ways even a more powerful force
- 53:36than being out there, you know, trying to, trying to push these
- 53:42big listings. Like I just always felt like
- 53:44eventually we'll get on Coinbase, people die, eventually
- 53:46we'll get on Binance. I I believe that no.
- 53:49I believe that as well. Like yeah, I'm with you.
- 53:52Like so believe it or not, a couple years ago listings meant
- 53:57everything, right? Like that was, that's how SHIB
- 54:01went to, you know, 40 billion on all these big coins because, you
- 54:05know, Coinbase listed it Binance.
- 54:07But like today, you know, I, I don't think it's a it, it is a
- 54:12big atmosphere when it comes to, you know, new clients and all
- 54:15that stuff. But sure, I think the ease of
- 54:17decentralization is falling behind when it comes to
- 54:21centralized exchanges, right? And it's not a very important
- 54:26thing. It's very good, but it's not
- 54:28that, you know, I, I would say maybe I'm talking about price
- 54:30action, right? Like, right, it's just, I, I
- 54:34believe that yes, every centralized exchange will be
- 54:39forced to have to grab all the best communities and we'll see
- 54:43it with UFD. Like, yeah, I'm in the same boat
- 54:46as you. People are like, yeah, there's
- 54:47no way. And I was like, listen, they're
- 54:50going to be forced aside from all the ideas and all the, the
- 54:54business model they had, you know, back in the day is that's
- 54:57evolving, right? That's it's not going to happen
- 54:59anymore or they're going to fall behind because this is people
- 55:03want memes. People want relative memes that
- 55:06have a great community and pretty much UFD stands exactly
- 55:10in that position. It's just there, there are some,
- 55:13you know, I things that need to go along.
- 55:16But yeah, I mean, it's, it's gonna, it's gonna force all
- 55:20these small, all these small unit unicorns, all these all
- 55:25meme coins compared to you know what, these these exchanges
- 55:32compared to what they have. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:35And we and I do feel like we've, I mean, we have so many people
- 55:39that are working on so many different things.
- 55:41But I think 1 great example is, you know, getting our IP
- 55:45registered in the new IP, right? Like we're doing the things that
- 55:49I think build real solid building blocks within the
- 55:54project and putting a lot of things in place in a very high
- 55:57quality manner. So that we are positioned that
- 56:00when that does happen that we could be, you know, that we we
- 56:05could be in for some real fun times.
- 56:07Yeah, I, I think what I was going to mention real quick is I
- 56:10think people don't realize that when people make meme coins,
- 56:16they already have like a team and all that stuff.
- 56:20And like, what I see with like UFD is like the community is
- 56:24like the team, people step up, you know, people give their time
- 56:28and we all see this vision together.
- 56:30And that's like, that is that is the most powerful thing that I
- 56:35know in, in a, in pretty much a meme coin is like everybody gets
- 56:39involved, everybody's doing their part, Everybody's, you
- 56:43know, saying like, hey, Ron, can I help you with this?
- 56:46Or, you know, can I help you with that?
- 56:48And like, that is a very powerful meaning rather than
- 56:52saying like, you know, you have another team saying like,
- 56:56listen, we know what we're doing all that stuff, rather than, you
- 57:00know, the community is forming into a team and, and leadership
- 57:06and, and all that stuff. And I just think it's, it's a
- 57:09huge, huge thing that people, I don't think people realize that.
- 57:13Yeah, we we don't we, you know, this project was started right
- 57:17over there at my other desk with literally half a solana cuz it
- 57:22was like $100 worth of Solana that I bought.
- 57:24It's nothing without the community, right?
- 57:27I Unicorn fart dust would have been part of the I read an
- 57:31article the other day that said there were like almost 12
- 57:33million crypto projects that that that died right like had no
- 57:38trading or whatever during two like you know I spawned it is
- 57:43the best way that I can describe it.
- 57:45You know I'm the developer yeah the you know I entered 4 fields.
- 57:50It is powerful. And I think I want to circle
- 57:52back to what you said because I think sometimes as we move
- 57:56through day, but sometimes even I forget, right, Some of the
- 57:59most powerful things about this project, right?
- 58:02The fact that this was literally a community takeover from day
- 58:06one. We didn't have $10 million.
- 58:09We didn't have, you know, a bunch of coins that we kept for
- 58:13ourselves so that we could pay for different things.
- 58:16Like this has all been grass roots, organic and built by
- 58:21people's literally from day one, but by heart and determination
- 58:27and people coming together. And that is the most powerful
- 58:31thing in the world, right? Money is money.
- 58:33That's one thing, but at the end of the day, if you get I I was
- 58:37watching some historic documentary thing the other day
- 58:40and was like, there's nothing more powerful than like a group
- 58:43of people coming together. And and that's what that's what
- 58:47we have in this project, right? And we don't have a good looking
- 58:50celebrity behind us, right? We don't have a venture capital
- 58:54fund or anything else, but we got like I was joke around and
- 58:58and I've said this before on live streams, like everybody out
- 59:01there watching you are the Kols for Unicorn.
- 59:04Yeah. You know, and we do have some
- 59:06Kol, some great people. I mean, you know, honestly, Gigi
- 59:11from the very beginning really helped the project and you know,
- 59:15we have people, but but people that have just gotten involved
- 59:18with UFD and and and and made it truly what it is.
- 59:23And I like to use this analogy. Then I'll shut up it boy J but I
- 59:27always say like, if you go well, you love bananas.
- 59:29I love bananas, right? And I'm, I'm too cheap to buy
- 59:32organic bananas. But when I go to ALDI and buy
- 59:35bananas, you got the regular, you know, Chiquitas like I have
- 59:39here, right? But then you have the organic
- 59:43bananas and they're like twice as expensive, right?
- 59:46Things, things that are, are that are grown organically are
- 59:50usually have a higher value. I don't know if that's a good
- 59:53analogy to use or not, but it makes sense to me.
- 59:55No, I want to circle back real quick of what you said is the
- 59:58community is a KOL and believe it or not.
- 1:00:03As UFD starts to be a bigger thing, that small person is now
- 1:00:11looked up at saying like, wow, like you were part of UFD and
- 1:00:15you know, they actually turn into a KOL, right?
- 1:00:18It's like it's, it's not like we're onboarding KOLS because to
- 1:00:23be honest, I'm going to just say it is like I we don't need that,
- 1:00:26right? We don't need that.
- 1:00:29What we need is we need passionate people like myself
- 1:00:32that's actually is passionate about this project that believes
- 1:00:36in the nor that believes in good, attracts good and and that
- 1:00:40believes that, you know, the community is everything.
- 1:00:42And I believe that slowly but surely, the people that you
- 1:00:47know, that are in this community are actually going to be start
- 1:00:50being Kols, right? Because they're going to
- 1:00:52actually be getting looked at and like, wow, like you were
- 1:00:55around. It's the same thing.
- 1:00:56Like people look at me and was like, wow, you were around when
- 1:01:00like, you know, Shib was a small thing and, you know, and, and
- 1:01:04it's now a huge thing. It's kind of same thing with
- 1:01:06UFD. It's like, you know, people look
- 1:01:09at, you know, our community of all the people that used to talk
- 1:01:12and still talk to this day about UFD and be like, wow, you were
- 1:01:15there day one, you know, and, and start becoming a KOL on on
- 1:01:19crypto Twitter. Yeah, yeah, a visionary, right,
- 1:01:22people, right. People look at you and say, wow,
- 1:01:24you know, Bitboy J look at his background.
- 1:01:27Look what he did. He was a visionary.
- 1:01:29I think about is you're saying this, I mean, a lot of people
- 1:01:31are coming to mind, but somebody like DJ Litmus, right?
- 1:01:35Who who who just became part of the community, started doing his
- 1:01:40Friday Night Live stream dance party raves who now like a lot
- 1:01:45of people and a lot of people in other communities like, and he's
- 1:01:49a great guy. I've met him in person.
- 1:01:50He's he's he's a he's a great, great guy.
- 1:01:53Right. I mean that that up to a certain
- 1:01:56degree, I guess we could say DJ Litmus.
- 1:01:58And he doesn't mind that. I call him DJ Litmus.
- 1:02:01DJ Litmus is a KOL for UFP. Yeah, and a lot of other people
- 1:02:06as well. Hey bit boy J, this has been
- 1:02:09great. You know, you shared some great
- 1:02:13insights with me, with us. I feel like I'm a little bit
- 1:02:17smarter now that I've had this opportunity to talk to you.
- 1:02:21You do incredible things for the UFDUFD community.
- 1:02:26It's a big privilege that we have you in the community.
- 1:02:30Did I forget to ask you about anything?
- 1:02:32Is there anything else that you want to bring up before we bid
- 1:02:35farewell? No, not at all.
- 1:02:36Just dime. I am a Unicorn myself, you know,
- 1:02:41I come from nothing to something.
- 1:02:42So I believe in the vision. I believe in everything.
- 1:02:48UFD is that crazy tingling that I have.
- 1:02:52So yeah, I will. I'm a die hard.
- 1:02:57You don't really find those kind of people these days.
- 1:03:00But yeah, there's nothing in UFD that I won't do.
- 1:03:05So yeah, it's always my pleasure.
- 1:03:07We appreciate you and it's a a big honor.
- 1:03:11I'll repeat it for those that have joined us later.
- 1:03:13All the people in the UFD community that that that I've
- 1:03:18got great respect for have great respect for you.
- 1:03:21So I was a little nervous about getting on here with you, you
- 1:03:24know, because you are you really are someone that's admired and
- 1:03:28looked up to and on the screen. Now you should be seeing Bitboy
- 1:03:33JS ex profile at bitboyj.com if you.
- 1:03:38Want right underneath the UFD maxi?
- 1:03:40Better known that. I actually recently changed
- 1:03:43that. You better know that.
- 1:03:44Yep. Man, what an honor.
- 1:03:46What an honor, my friend. And if you're ever in Saint
- 1:03:50Louis, I want you to come by here and say hello for sure.
- 1:03:53Of course. Can can I share the the big news
- 1:03:56real quickly about the Kraken? Yeah.
- 1:03:58Go for anything. OK, I'm going to pull this up
- 1:04:01next on screen. So this morning guys, we got a
- 1:04:05had a big announcement. Kraken announced a trading
- 1:04:09competition. There's 6 meme coins involved.
- 1:04:12The winner of the trading competition will have their IP
- 1:04:16logo, in our case our IP logo on the sleeve of the Athletico de
- 1:04:22Madrid football team, which is a soccer team, world famous soccer
- 1:04:26team. So we've got a, you know, highly
- 1:04:28respect expected. Hold on one second.
- 1:04:32Susie chimed in. Excuse me?
- 1:04:36Oh, you can't see it. Hold on.
- 1:04:37Did I forget to pull that up? Hold on.
- 1:04:41Nope, it's up. OK.
- 1:04:43Yeah, we've got a highly respected worldwide soccer
- 1:04:48football team and a one of the most highly respected exchanges
- 1:04:53that were involved in here. I'm going to play the 15 second
- 1:04:55video for everybody. Hold on there we go.
- 1:05:00We'll start at the beginning. All right, guys, so super
- 1:05:20exciting. Hold on here and I've got a post
- 1:05:23out about that. Of course there'll be tons of
- 1:05:26posts out there and we'll keep you posted.
- 1:05:29There's also. A cool idea I really like.
- 1:05:32Yeah, it's pretty big, too. I don't think people realize
- 1:05:35that it's pretty big. People used to go crazy about
- 1:05:39their logo slapped on different things, and I think that's
- 1:05:42pretty big, I'm not going to lie.
- 1:05:43Yeah. I mean, right, Athletico de
- 1:05:47Madrid is one of the world's most famous soccer teams and
- 1:05:50soccer, or as they call it, football is the most popular
- 1:05:54sport in the world. Obviously, Krakens a high
- 1:05:57profile exchange. So now this is big news for UFD,
- 1:06:02right? And again, it's a great example,
- 1:06:03right? Like we talked about Bitboy J,
- 1:06:06we didn't make this happen, OK? They came to us with the idea
- 1:06:11and in it. But it happened because of the
- 1:06:14work, organic grassroots work that the UFD community is doing
- 1:06:18every day. On that note, I want to remind
- 1:06:21everybody open. It may have just started.
- 1:06:23Yep, I ran over. Georgie's going to be mad at me.
- 1:06:25But Georgie is doing a community spaces that will be starting
- 1:06:31probably right now. I'll pull that up.
- 1:06:33You can go to her profile. Oh, she's doing it at 11.
- 1:06:38Thank you, Susie. So it'll be an hour from now or
- 1:06:4154 minutes from now. Sound the horn horn hubs in
- 1:06:44session UFT. So everybody go check that out.
- 1:06:49Big boy J, I'm all over the place.
- 1:06:52There we are now we're back on there.
- 1:06:54Thanks so much, man. On the different levels.
- 1:06:57Very grateful. And I know the community feels
- 1:07:00very lucky to have you as as part of our UFD family.
- 1:07:05And you know, you said a lot of things today that that make me
- 1:07:10feel very optimistic about this project.
- 1:07:13And you know, but I think first and foremost, you said it early
- 1:07:16on in our, in our discussion, trust in the T word and that
- 1:07:20we're building a community where people can trust each other, a
- 1:07:23project that can be trusted. And I think that positions us
- 1:07:27for some great things down the road.
- 1:07:29Yeah, 100%. I thank you for everything
- 1:07:35you're worth ethnic everything in this project.
- 1:07:38It's not just you, it's the community too.
- 1:07:41And yeah, thank you for having me on.
- 1:07:42Like I said, anytime reach out to me, I'm there.
- 1:07:47You'll, you'll, you'll be, you're going to become a regular
- 1:07:49guest, my friend. So yeah.
- 1:07:52Super. Hey, you fixed my sleeping
- 1:07:53schedule, so yeah. Yeah, I was just going to say
- 1:07:58big boy Jay got up extra early for us today and you know, it
- 1:08:03was, it was a big honor again to have you on, my friend, and
- 1:08:07we'll talk to you soon, OK? Take care.
- 1:08:09Thank you. Thank you.
