- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome back to the Almost Samos podcast. It's
- 0:08Speaker 2: me and today we've got og bachelor Bob breaking down
- 0:11Speaker 2: the latest episode of Paradise with me. Hey, Bob, thank
- 0:14Speaker 2: you so much for doing this while Ben is away
- 0:16Speaker 2: in Italy getting so much deserved rest of his family.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Yes, thank you, Ashley. I it's exciting to see you.
- 0:23Speaker 2: So nice to see you too. So this episode I
- 0:27Speaker 2: rate it very highly. Maybe my favorite episode of Paradise
- 0:31Speaker 2: this season. What are you about you? I?
- 0:34Speaker 4: You know, I was it was like drinking through a
- 0:36Speaker 4: fire hose because there was so much going on in
- 0:38Speaker 4: this episode, which I was. I was kind of like
- 0:41Speaker 4: of the mindset where I was like, Oh my god,
- 0:43Speaker 4: how much more can they squeeze into this thing?
- 0:46Speaker 3: And it was kind of crazy.
- 0:48Speaker 4: So yeah, for me, I won't say it was one
- 0:51Speaker 4: of my favorites, but I will say it was definitely.
- 0:54Speaker 4: There was a lot going on, and so in that regard,
- 0:57Speaker 4: I found it pretty interesting.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I think I was really starting to root for couples.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And when I say couples, I really mean one who
- 1:06Speaker 2: is your Before I revealed my favorite who's your favorite
- 1:08Speaker 2: couple right now? Who do you feel is the most
- 1:10Speaker 2: genuine and long term Well.
- 1:13Speaker 4: God, it's tough because my favorite couple was still Keith
- 1:17Speaker 4: and Kathy, which I know is not gonna be I
- 1:21Speaker 4: just I love that they have like just taken on
- 1:23Speaker 4: the role of being like counselor to everyone, which I
- 1:25Speaker 4: kind of thought might happen. But you know, I found
- 1:29Speaker 4: myself today for whatever reason, finding the whole Spencer and.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Is it Spencer and Jess.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Is that that?
- 1:38Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:39Speaker 4: I found them to be a lot more interesting today.
- 1:42Speaker 4: But I actually started rooting for Andrew and Alex more
- 1:44Speaker 4: today exactly.
- 1:47Speaker 3: That was me.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, wait, they are a serious couple
- 1:50Speaker 2: and I care about their well being. Yeah, They're the
- 1:54Speaker 2: ones that I'm rooting to go all the way. There's
- 1:57Speaker 2: a friendship foundation there for sure. I think that they
- 2:01Speaker 2: are going in the right direction upward. And I think
- 2:06Speaker 2: Jess and Spencer perhaps they're putting a little like storyline
- 2:11Speaker 2: of doubt and maybe it's not that big of a deal,
- 2:16Speaker 2: but I just try to put myself in my in
- 2:18Speaker 2: the position that I was in if Jared during Bachelor
- 2:21Speaker 2: in Paradise was ever like I'm ready to move in
- 2:24Speaker 2: in three months. I would have been like, yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 4: See, That's the thing that's so crazy is like, first
- 2:30Speaker 4: of all, I don't know. I've been with Canyon for
- 2:33Speaker 4: thirteen years and we have been we're married, and we
- 2:37Speaker 4: have kids and we live together, of course, and I
- 2:40Speaker 4: don't think I've ever said those things to her, Like,
- 2:42Speaker 4: I don't think I ever said, Okay, my plan is
- 2:44Speaker 4: we're gonna have kids in about you know, three years,
- 2:47Speaker 4: but that's.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Kind of long for me.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Then I definitely want to have us living together immediately upon,
- 2:52Speaker 4: you know, leaving this island.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I'm just like, like, what dude does this? You know,
- 2:55Speaker 3: it's kind of a lot and.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Not a lot of guys, but I know that if
- 2:59Speaker 2: I I liked somebody enough, and there's so many different personalities,
- 3:03Speaker 2: so I'm speaking for myself and not for her. She
- 3:06Speaker 2: seemed freaked out by it. And if I was totally
- 3:10Speaker 2: in love with someone, I would I would be kind
- 3:14Speaker 2: of all in on his plan. He does want to
- 3:18Speaker 2: move fast, and he also there was also the part
- 3:23Speaker 2: where he's like, I am in love with her and
- 3:26Speaker 2: she says she's not ready to say that yet.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Well, what's crazy though, was like I swear to god.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Two weeks ago.
- 3:32Speaker 4: She was the one who was like, this is our
- 3:34Speaker 4: last ever first date, and you know, like I remember
- 3:38Speaker 4: like when they got the date and she's like, this
- 3:39Speaker 4: is this was our first date and it's going to
- 3:41Speaker 4: be the last ever first date either one of us
- 3:43Speaker 4: ever have, Like she started this. So then for him
- 3:45Speaker 4: to be now like reacting to that and responding to that,
- 3:48Speaker 4: and for her to act like she's scared to death
- 3:50Speaker 4: of it is almost kind of like, what the hell, lady,
- 3:52Speaker 4: this is what you said you wanted and now he's
- 3:54Speaker 4: giving it.
- 3:55Speaker 3: To you and you're freaking out, you know. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 3: but yeah. So with Alex.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Andandrew, I was going to say, the reason why I
- 4:02Speaker 4: liked what was going on there so much was it
- 4:05Speaker 4: was like they were both too timid to tell each
- 4:09Speaker 4: other they were falling in love. And then she's like,
- 4:12Speaker 4: oh my god, I'm gonna be the first one to
- 4:14Speaker 4: do this.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh my god. And he goes, hold on, hold on,
- 4:16Speaker 3: I'm falling in love with you.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Like he what I really liked about that he was
- 4:20Speaker 4: like protecting her, you know, and like you don't have
- 4:22Speaker 4: to say it first, I'll say it, you know, which
- 4:24Speaker 4: I thought was really sweet.
- 4:25Speaker 2: It was so cute. Maybe I also find them to
- 4:28Speaker 2: be like the most relatable. They're both a little bit
- 4:30Speaker 2: like I wouldn't say awkward. Maybe sometimes she's awkward, but
- 4:35Speaker 2: in a very endearing not like ooh, cringey awkward, but
- 4:39Speaker 2: like in an adorable, endearing awkward. I just feel like
- 4:43Speaker 2: there's just like a lot of genuine goodness between them.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And I don't even consider Dale and Kat to like
- 4:52Speaker 2: be like an actual option here, and I guess neither do.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I think Jeremy and Bailey because both of them we've
- 5:00Speaker 2: seen on camera have struggles before, and like their struggles
- 5:04Speaker 2: that I'm not like, I don't think that were overcome.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I think they were truly brushed aside daily Kat, he
- 5:11Speaker 2: said some crazy stuff about her. She did not trust him.
- 5:16Speaker 2: They both made each other worried, like they both had
- 5:19Speaker 2: traits that they so worried about and somehow like it
- 5:23Speaker 2: was sweeped away. It was swept away. And the same
- 5:28Speaker 2: with Jeremy Bailey, like we just know that he was
- 5:30Speaker 2: all after Susan and like she forgave him for that,
- 5:37Speaker 2: And I don't know that the audience ever really trusted
- 5:41Speaker 2: that he is as in on Bailey as he says,
- 5:44Speaker 2: he is.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, it's interesting.
- 5:47Speaker 4: There's definitely a lot of like I almost feel like that,
- 5:51Speaker 4: you know how, like the formulaic version of The Bachelor.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I mean, I'm going back a long ways, like back
- 5:57Speaker 4: when I was the Bachelor, they would always make you
- 5:59Speaker 4: think and it was editing, it was, it was, but
- 6:02Speaker 4: they would always make you think the runner up was
- 6:04Speaker 4: the one who was going to be the woman that
- 6:06Speaker 4: got the ring right, and so you were almost disappointed
- 6:09Speaker 4: when when you would watch the show and you'd see
- 6:11Speaker 4: the other person get the ring, You're.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Like, oh, well, I thought it was gonna be Debbie,
- 6:14Speaker 3: you know.
- 6:15Speaker 4: And it's almost like they're doing that with Dale and
- 6:17Speaker 4: Kat to us right now, Like they're pushing them so
- 6:19Speaker 4: hard on us that I'm like, something's going to blow
- 6:22Speaker 4: up on this, Like the wheels are coming off this
- 6:23Speaker 4: at some point. I just don't know when, and you know,
- 6:26Speaker 4: it's kind of like waiting for this all to happen.
- 6:28Speaker 3: But the only reason I'm just a skeptic.
- 6:31Speaker 4: So it's like when I watched the show, I'm always
- 6:32Speaker 4: thinking that they're manipulating me somehow.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Somewhay.
- 6:35Speaker 2: We've also seen them in like relationships in the past
- 6:39Speaker 2: that have blown up in a sort of toxic way. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 2: you know where it was just like, oh it wasn't
- 6:46Speaker 2: we weally with kindness, would like to separate, blah blah blah.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Like it was just like, we respect our privacy.
- 6:53Speaker 3: There's none of that.
- 6:54Speaker 2: There are two really big egos too. I love Kat
- 6:57Speaker 2: like I think she's the greatest reality star, but I
- 7:00Speaker 2: also like know that the two of them together are
- 7:04Speaker 2: just too big and together they're gonna have too big
- 7:08Speaker 2: of problems. This is just my two cents per Bason
- 7:11Speaker 2: what I watched on TV. All Right, so let's get
- 7:13Speaker 2: into the specifics about this episode. First challenge, loved it,
- 7:18Speaker 2: one of my one of my one of the like
- 7:23Speaker 2: group day challenges. Whatever that like truly can tell you
- 7:28Speaker 2: about someone. Oh, they have to go glamping. They have
- 7:31Speaker 2: to set up a campsite, so they have to like
- 7:34Speaker 2: supposedly set up their home. And this is gonna this
- 7:38Speaker 2: is great. Yeah that working together and trying to put
- 7:41Speaker 2: something together physically is a great test of compatibility.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Well, and it's hot as hell.
- 7:49Speaker 4: There's sweating, there's bugs everywhere, there's cow crap, horse crap
- 7:54Speaker 4: all over the place.
- 7:54Speaker 3: It's like, you know, anything that they can do to
- 7:56Speaker 3: make it uncomfortable they're doing.
- 7:58Speaker 4: And these people have to figure out, you know, everything's broken, right,
- 8:02Speaker 4: chairs are broken, you know, so they're seeing is this
- 8:05Speaker 4: guy going to be a gentleman in this moment or
- 8:07Speaker 4: is he going to be like, you know, I'll take
- 8:08Speaker 4: them not broken chair.
- 8:11Speaker 3: It's it's interesting to watch it.
- 8:13Speaker 4: It's funny because then they have, you know, unbeknownst to them,
- 8:15Speaker 4: they have a relationship expert watching the whole thing unfold
- 8:20Speaker 4: and and you know, taking notes on how the whole
- 8:22Speaker 4: thing kind of plays out, which I thought was pretty
- 8:25Speaker 4: interesting because you know, they obviously forgot they were on
- 8:29Speaker 4: a reality show, which, by the.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Way, I have been loving all the little chiron things.
- 8:33Speaker 4: But they're like, uh, you know buffering, Yeah, yeah. I
- 8:38Speaker 4: think they even said to someone, you know, like I
- 8:40Speaker 4: think it was it might have been Alex who was like,
- 8:42Speaker 4: you know, I can't believe they had a relationship counselor there.
- 8:45Speaker 3: And they were watching us the whole time.
- 8:46Speaker 4: We didn't know it, and all of a sudden, her
- 8:48Speaker 4: thing under her name, so I forgot she was on
- 8:49Speaker 4: a reality show.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Exactly that they're breaking the fourth wall and like referring
- 8:56Speaker 2: to the show a lot that I like it's tongue
- 8:58Speaker 2: and jacin.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that was interesting though, but you're right, it was
- 9:03Speaker 4: kind of crazy because it's a barn burner hot out
- 9:05Speaker 4: there Cat. I honestly think this date was specifically designed
- 9:09Speaker 4: to make Cat lose her mind, Like they were probably like,
- 9:12Speaker 4: you know, we kind of need the old cat back.
- 9:14Speaker 4: She's been too chill on this season. We got to
- 9:16Speaker 4: get her back to her meltdown moments. Let's let's do
- 9:19Speaker 4: some bugs in the mix. I swear that's how it
- 9:21Speaker 4: feels to be bugs.
- 9:22Speaker 2: They're not that bad Cat, but apparently bad phobia. Dale
- 9:26Speaker 2: does keep it together, respect Alex and Andrew. The kiss
- 9:31Speaker 2: conversation was funny.
- 9:33Speaker 3: It was funny, and I didn't.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Think I understand what the relationship specialists expert is saying about,
- 9:42Speaker 2: like their chemistry, but sometimes I don't know what do
- 9:47Speaker 2: you think? Do you think maybe you did like burning
- 9:48Speaker 2: hot chemistry at that point or can it really a flirty,
- 9:51Speaker 2: fun banter.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I think that's what's more fun.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I like what I think that lady saw in
- 9:57Speaker 4: them that she you know, she she thought other stuff
- 10:00Speaker 4: was more I don't know, more important for relationship development.
- 10:05Speaker 3: So I'm wondering where they found this lady.
- 10:06Speaker 4: But I feel like, honestly, what they have going is
- 10:10Speaker 4: way more natural.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I mean, they've only been there two weeks, right, and
- 10:16Speaker 3: neither of them have been there the whole time. I
- 10:17Speaker 3: don't think. I think, I don't know. If they did,
- 10:19Speaker 3: it were not a.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Care no, and you came in like a couple of
- 10:21Speaker 2: days later.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's like, you know what, we're maybe at
- 10:24Speaker 4: fourteen days max at this point, you know, And it's like,
- 10:28Speaker 4: so the fact that they're still finding things out about
- 10:32Speaker 4: each other, they're not that comfortable in every circumstance. They're
- 10:35Speaker 4: sort of you know, but here they are. And this
- 10:37Speaker 4: super what I thought was really endearing was they're in
- 10:40Speaker 4: this super awkward, sweat bug fueled you know, a horsepoop thing,
- 10:47Speaker 4: and they're actually sitting there kissing and being affectionate with
- 10:51Speaker 4: each other, and they're playing like a game about it,
- 10:53Speaker 4: which I thought was kind of cute. You know. It's
- 10:55Speaker 4: almost like they're playing and spend the bottle with each
- 10:56Speaker 4: other and there's only two people there, and it was
- 10:58Speaker 4: I thought that was kind of sweet, you know, And
- 11:00Speaker 4: I think that's kind of why I really started. I
- 11:02Speaker 4: doubled down after that relationship council. I was like, hey,
- 11:05Speaker 4: o f this lady man, like that's my people, Like
- 11:07Speaker 4: what are you doing.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I'm like, it's like, okay, okay, I guess I see
- 11:12Speaker 2: what you're talking about. But also I don't think it's
- 11:14Speaker 2: a big deal because, like I said, I mean, I'm
- 11:17Speaker 2: obviously speaking from a place where I start out as friends,
- 11:20Speaker 2: and I related to the moment and like you can tell,
- 11:23Speaker 2: it's like flirty bands or I thought she was going
- 11:25Speaker 2: to say, you guys are open about physical chemistry and
- 11:30Speaker 2: you're communicating about that and that's a good thing.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I gotta be honestly, you and I are on the
- 11:36Speaker 4: same page right now, because I actually thought she was
- 11:39Speaker 4: going to praise them a little bit for you know,
- 11:41Speaker 4: I maybe rip on him a little bit because you know,
- 11:43Speaker 4: when like she's she was right, you know, Alex is saying, well,
- 11:46Speaker 4: here's what I would like, and he's like, no, no,
- 11:47Speaker 4: if it's my last kiss on Earth, I'm going for
- 11:49Speaker 4: And I thought that was actually pretty funny. But I
- 11:53Speaker 4: get it, like, you know, you got to be respectful
- 11:55Speaker 4: of your partner's wishes and stuff like that.
- 11:58Speaker 3: But at the same time. I don't know I found it.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I didn't interpret the way she did.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't either. I didn't either. I didn't. You
- 12:06Speaker 3: know what, though, I have this thing like I always this.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Is gonna be horrible, and some people are gonna not
- 12:11Speaker 4: like me saying this, but I always think, you know,
- 12:14Speaker 4: isn't it weird that like every relationship expert has like
- 12:19Speaker 4: a completely jacked up home life, you know what I mean,
- 12:22Speaker 4: Like like every single time.
- 12:28Speaker 3: If you go in and if you do a little.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Deep dive, the matchmakers are all single, you know, but
- 12:32Speaker 4: they know what's best for everyone, And then all these
- 12:34Speaker 4: people that sit back and the armchair quarterback and just
- 12:37Speaker 4: just shred people.
- 12:38Speaker 3: And you're like, what are you guys going on at home?
- 12:40Speaker 3: You know? Are you happily married?
- 12:42Speaker 2: Exactly, and that she describes the how Dale has superhero syndrome,
- 12:46Speaker 2: which I think that Jared has a lot of the
- 12:47Speaker 2: time where it's like all the good things and be
- 12:51Speaker 2: like perfect, but not like for himself, not for his
- 12:55Speaker 2: own ego, like he truly wants to provide for his family.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And then when it's not like receive the way it's
- 13:02Speaker 2: supposed to be.
- 13:04Speaker 3: We get pissed.
- 13:06Speaker 4: We get a little bothered and we almost get frustrated.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Like I'm telling you I suffer from this too. So
- 13:12Speaker 4: she said that I was like, why.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Am I all of a sudden a subject on the show?
- 13:16Speaker 4: Like, but I, like I go through a canyon, Like
- 13:20Speaker 4: I literally will be the one who, like I will
- 13:22Speaker 4: go like I will go two and a half miles
- 13:25Speaker 4: out of my way to make sure that everything else
- 13:27Speaker 4: is done perfectly, even though she's perfectly capable.
- 13:30Speaker 3: She could do it. I need to be the one
- 13:31Speaker 3: that gets it done, and.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I want it to be done a certain way, and
- 13:34Speaker 4: I want everyone to think it's the greatest thing on earth.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And then when they don't think it's the greatest thing
- 13:38Speaker 4: on earth, or when they make suggestions about how else
- 13:40Speaker 4: it could have been done, I'd.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Be like, I just did this without even being asked.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And you're like acts of service people, if yes, acts
- 13:50Speaker 2: of service love language person, this is usually how like
- 13:54Speaker 2: your interpretation is. Whereas like Jared, I'll say, I wake
- 13:58Speaker 2: up and he took hated in the morning because he
- 14:00Speaker 2: woke up early, and then he did the dishes and
- 14:02Speaker 2: he did you know, he straightened up and all that.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I so appreciate it, Like I appreciate it. I'm like,
- 14:08Speaker 2: oh my gosh, thank you. It's so nice. But to me,
- 14:10Speaker 2: it doesn't speak love, like that's not romantic love because
- 14:13Speaker 2: that's not my love language. So you know, it's it's
- 14:16Speaker 2: all a balance. And the doctor giving them the challenge
- 14:22Speaker 2: prize to me seemed stagy.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit, A little bit.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Maybe that was because they I mean, maybe because she
- 14:32Speaker 4: was just melting down so badly.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Well yeah, and what's actually you know what, you're right,
- 14:38Speaker 2: let me not jump to stagey. I think it was
- 14:40Speaker 2: probably because it was the most extreme situation that was
- 14:43Speaker 2: like happening there, and he did deal with it with
- 14:46Speaker 2: a lot of patience, that's what she did. It seemed
- 14:49Speaker 2: like maybe as a couple they're not the strongest, but
- 14:52Speaker 2: in that situation they excelled given their traits.
- 14:57Speaker 3: I think that's true. I think that's probably why.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, they haven't had a date on the show since
- 15:03Speaker 2: they first met.
- 15:04Speaker 4: They did on the first one, so they've kind of been,
- 15:07Speaker 4: you know, sixteen days, I mean just sort of grinding away,
- 15:10Speaker 4: you know, this whole experience.
- 15:11Speaker 3: They haven't gone anywhere, done anything. I don't know. It's interesting,
- 15:15Speaker 3: BHD to see what happens.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Okay, I have to put you on to these leggings
- 15:27Speaker 2: I've been obsessed with lately. They're from this brand called Tona,
- 15:31Speaker 2: and get this, the designer behind them also created Lulu Lemon,
- 15:36Speaker 2: so they know what they're doing. These leggings are next
- 15:40Speaker 2: level think buttery soft, super flattering and very comfortable. But
- 15:45Speaker 2: they're also very supportive in the right places. So I
- 15:50Speaker 2: started wearing them when the kids and I go out
- 15:52Speaker 2: to play, and now I'm basically living in them twenty
- 15:55Speaker 2: four to seven. And here's what makes them even better.
- 15:58Speaker 2: With every payer you buy, it helps fund a mental

- 16:35Speaker 3: They.
- 16:35Speaker 2: He says in an interview that during the camping put
- 16:38Speaker 2: together that he can tell that Bailey loves him. You
- 16:40Speaker 2: can see the look in her eyes, and then he
- 16:43Speaker 2: says that he could see himself getting there. Yeah, there's
- 16:47Speaker 2: just something about the dude that I don't trust, and
- 16:49Speaker 2: I like couringe at the moment that he'll come on
- 16:51Speaker 2: this podcast and I'm like, hey, really hard, really hard
- 16:56Speaker 2: on you don't know, I just don't know if we're
- 16:58Speaker 2: like incredible people.
- 17:01Speaker 3: We're not vibing.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yeah, we're not vibing. Yeah, I know. It's crazy. It
- 17:06Speaker 4: is interesting because I feel like I'm at this point
- 17:11Speaker 4: where and I get made fun of by my wife
- 17:14Speaker 4: for this a lot that that I'm like literally rooting
- 17:17Speaker 4: for everyone, like I want everyone to be who I
- 17:21Speaker 4: hope they're going to be, right and and so now
- 17:23Speaker 4: I'm sort of like almost making excuses for everything everyone
- 17:26Speaker 4: has done or said in the past.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Like I mean I've even said, like you.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Know, well, you know, I know that Dale and Claire
- 17:32Speaker 4: had a had a horrible blow up, but you know,
- 17:34Speaker 4: we're seeing a different side of Dale, and maybe maybe
- 17:37Speaker 4: this is who he is now. I mean, you know,
- 17:38Speaker 4: he did say tonight that he knows what his love
- 17:40Speaker 4: language is. Like I'm just making excuses for everyone, you know.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's so sweet. That's really horrible.
- 17:46Speaker 3: It's a horrible truth.
- 17:49Speaker 4: It's embarrassing that I'm like, I can get bamboozled so
- 17:52Speaker 4: quickly by people. But I'm hopeful that maybe this guy
- 17:56Speaker 4: is you know, maybe it was just an errant comment
- 17:59Speaker 4: about Susie and maybe he really didn't I don't know.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I don't know what to think.
- 18:04Speaker 4: I'm like losing it. What do you think about about
- 18:06Speaker 4: him right now? Like where's your head at with them?
- 18:08Speaker 2: There's not been a lot of evolution there. It's just
- 18:12Speaker 2: I guess vibes. And it could just be the fact
- 18:14Speaker 2: that I am so rooting for Andrew and Alex now
- 18:16Speaker 2: that like everybody else, I might get out of the way.
- 18:20Speaker 2: But also justin Andrew, justin Spencer, like you got a
- 18:24Speaker 2: root for them. We see that Dale and Kat get
- 18:29Speaker 2: this beach date where basically they're just like it's all
- 18:32Speaker 2: worth it, Like this is solidified what I needed. He
- 18:35Speaker 2: did say a big thing here, though, he said you
- 18:38Speaker 2: feel like home, to which I was like, wow, that's big.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I was impressed. I was impressed. I don't know.
- 18:45Speaker 4: You know, you've you've heard, like I mean, we all
- 18:47Speaker 4: you know hear you know the rumors that there's something
- 18:51Speaker 4: going on, that's something you know, there's something coming up
- 18:53Speaker 4: around the corner. I mean, I don't want to ruin
- 18:55Speaker 4: anything for anyone, but if you watched the previous for
- 18:57Speaker 4: the next episode, for the finale, it looks like it
- 18:59Speaker 4: it gets pretty ugly. And I feel like, I don't know,
- 19:03Speaker 4: I just feel like, if you're someone who's playing this
- 19:06Speaker 4: game because you didn't know there was five hundred grand
- 19:08Speaker 4: at the end of the at the end of this
- 19:09Speaker 4: thing when I started, if you're you're not someone who's
- 19:12Speaker 4: going that hard on these moments that you know are
- 19:16Speaker 4: going to come back to haunt you, right, And I
- 19:18Speaker 4: feel like Dale and Kat are seriously into each other
- 19:21Speaker 4: right now, Like watching them on that beach date like
- 19:24Speaker 4: they were I'm sorry, man, I I gotta say it,
- 19:27Speaker 4: like I felt like, Wow, maybe they are a real couple.
- 19:30Speaker 3: And here I've been doubting it.
- 19:31Speaker 4: You know, I don't know, but you're right, Like I'm
- 19:34Speaker 4: so rooting for Andrew and Alex too that I feel like,
- 19:36Speaker 4: you know, part of me doesn't have room for anybody else.
- 19:39Speaker 4: I'm just like, you know, no, I'm good. You guys
- 19:41Speaker 4: don't need to move up, just stay there on the beach.
- 19:43Speaker 3: You're fine, Yeah, you know.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Plus Wells, Oh my god, Wells is like really delivered
- 19:48Speaker 2: over the past few exactly what we need him to say.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Who won the who won the date? Andrew, you know
- 19:56Speaker 3: who won the date?
- 19:56Speaker 4: They go no, no, the whole everybody just starts laughing.
- 20:00Speaker 4: So he's clearly made it known that he is not
- 20:03Speaker 4: a fan of that couple right now, exactly exact.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Gosh, it's so funny. Also, can we talk about the
- 20:08Speaker 2: dates being really silly, like basically they just got drinks
- 20:11Speaker 2: out of like this parrot pineapple and there was really
- 20:15Speaker 2: nothing there that they couldn't have just gone back at
- 20:17Speaker 2: the resort, basically sitting in a cabana.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Either the budget's been cut, you know, incredibly by over
- 20:25Speaker 4: the last two episodes.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we're not even gonna take you on a boat ride.
- 20:30Speaker 4: You guys are gonna sit on this beach and just
- 20:33Speaker 4: chill out and here here's a pineapple.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Enjoy yourself. Yeah, there's not.
- 20:37Speaker 4: They definitely have cut back on the swinkiness of the
- 20:40Speaker 4: last couple of date parties.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so funny. Okay, now we have the conversation as
- 20:45Speaker 2: far as like going in order of the episode. We
- 20:47Speaker 2: had the conversation between Jessine Spencer, which we kind of
- 20:49Speaker 2: already broke down. There is an age gap there where
- 20:51Speaker 2: she's pretty young. She wants to be having kids by
- 20:55Speaker 2: her thirty I'm not sure what age she is now,
- 20:57Speaker 2: but he says that would be a little late for him.
- 21:01Speaker 2: But she did say what the thing was is she
- 21:03Speaker 2: said at the very latest thirty. So like, it's.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Okay, it's up for discussion.
- 21:09Speaker 2: It's up for discussion then.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I mean, honestly, once you're in a relationship, your timelines
- 21:14Speaker 4: changed considerably when you're both in the same place, right,
- 21:16Speaker 4: So it's like, right now, they don't even live together,
- 21:19Speaker 4: so I get it, Like you're talking about having kids.
- 21:20Speaker 4: It'd be like, dude, we live in I mean, I'm
- 21:23Speaker 4: assuming they live in different cities.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I don't even know it was Texas and California.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah, so, oh my god, they're on opposite ends of
- 21:28Speaker 4: the world. It feels like, you know, from that perspective,
- 21:31Speaker 4: So it's like at the end of the day, it's like, yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 4: I mean, I get it. You know, if he's thirty
- 21:36Speaker 4: two and she's probably what like twenty four.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Maybe twenty five.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Yeah, so she's thinking seven years that that's going to
- 21:44Speaker 4: make him forty.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Bro, that's a baby too me. I mean I didn't
- 21:47Speaker 3: have my friend he's thirty two.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Oh he's thirty two.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Oh yeah, so seven years if you know so, that
- 21:53Speaker 4: would make him thirty nine.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Shaw. I didn't have my first kid that was forty eight. Bro,
- 21:59Speaker 3: Get over it, Bob.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Only like, like, I'm watching you right now, speak and
- 22:04Speaker 2: there's no way in the world that you register as
- 22:07Speaker 2: like older dad. You look and sound and presents all
- 22:12Speaker 2: over normally.
- 22:14Speaker 4: So sweet, Ashley, that's why you've always been my favorite.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Well, I will.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Tell you I uh I after this past weekend where
- 22:21Speaker 4: I went out three nights in a row, which I
- 22:23Speaker 4: haven't done in quite some time, I felt all of
- 22:26Speaker 4: the old dad vibes, Like I was like, where's my walker?
- 22:30Speaker 4: Then tonight I come home and my wife's like, oh yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 4: we're gonna have.
- 22:33Speaker 3: A play date with uh so and so and so
- 22:35Speaker 3: and so.
- 22:35Speaker 4: They didn't get see them all weekend, which I totally understood.
- 22:38Speaker 4: But then all of a sudden, the home is invaded
- 22:40Speaker 4: by a herd of people and I'm like, dude, like
- 22:43Speaker 4: I love them.
- 22:44Speaker 3: They're my favorite family, my favorite couple. They hang out with.
- 22:46Speaker 4: But I was like so shocked because I didn't know,
- 22:48Speaker 4: and I was like I kind of thought I wasn't
- 22:50Speaker 4: going to do anything tonight. But now I'm back at
- 22:52Speaker 4: it again. You know, I might as well have I noon,
- 22:54Speaker 4: let's go, you know, like I'm.
- 22:57Speaker 2: One hundred no no, no, no, You've definitely I feel like
- 23:00Speaker 2: you have a lot more stamina than I do. Okay,
- 23:05Speaker 2: so let's talk about the cocktail party where basically people
- 23:10Speaker 2: need to figure out who's going to go home. It's
- 23:11Speaker 2: pretty obvious that it'll be between Jonathan and Leah or
- 23:18Speaker 2: Keith and Kathy. And at this point, the stakes don't
- 23:21Speaker 2: feel high because it's gonna be one of them now and.
- 23:24Speaker 3: One of them later, right right, Yeah, exactly.
- 23:28Speaker 2: It ends up being Jonathan and Leah, and that's because
- 23:33Speaker 2: Dale gets the last say because they were the winner
- 23:36Speaker 2: and there was a tie in the vote, and he's
- 23:40Speaker 2: just like he was after my girl, so he's saying
- 23:42Speaker 2: by now like they obviously never really got along. And
- 23:46Speaker 2: then he also was talking about if you don't vote
- 23:50Speaker 2: off who you really think is, you know, the weakest link,
- 23:53Speaker 2: you never know what's going to like actually end up happening,
- 23:56Speaker 2: Like how are they going to play with the game
- 23:58Speaker 2: later on?
- 23:59Speaker 4: Yeah, well, and I thought that was interesting because you know,
- 24:03Speaker 4: you never know what these challenges are going to be either.
- 24:05Speaker 3: So I mean, at the end of.
- 24:07Speaker 4: The day, you know, Keathy and Keith, I think Keith
- 24:09Speaker 4: might not be the weakest link, right, so they're thinking.
- 24:13Speaker 3: But I also think part.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Of it was, you know, the people that voted for
- 24:17Speaker 4: Keith and Kathy were voting because Keith. I mean, it
- 24:20Speaker 4: was very sweet and Keith got emotional talking about it
- 24:24Speaker 4: being homesick in Wine to see his girls and they're
- 24:26Speaker 4: getting ready to go camping anyway, or something like that.
- 24:28Speaker 4: And at the end of the day, I mean I
- 24:31Speaker 4: would probably think, man, this.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Dude needs to go home.
- 24:34Speaker 4: I get it, you know, And but then all of
- 24:36Speaker 4: a sudden he changed his mind and he was like,
- 24:38Speaker 4: I think I'm willing to stick around for another week.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Somebody was probably like, don't we do. Somebody production was like, hey,
- 24:45Speaker 2: it's not really weak. It's another day. If you could
- 24:47Speaker 2: get one more night, and probably.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Just bro, we can have you on a plane tomorrow afternoon.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Just get through time. Yeah exactly.
- 24:54Speaker 4: I'm sure that's probably part of it too, But yeah,
- 24:57Speaker 4: it's not like it's unfolding in real time. I mean,
- 24:59Speaker 4: you know, it's the eight Throws ceremony and it's only
- 25:01Speaker 4: day nineteen, So if anybody's doing the math at home,
- 25:05Speaker 4: that's not eight weeks, right, that's about, you know, a day.
- 25:08Speaker 3: It was like it.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Sometimes a lot can happen in a short amount of
- 25:12Speaker 2: time there. That be said, they go home and the
- 25:19Speaker 2: next day they have another challenge, the sharp they called
- 25:24Speaker 2: sharp opinions, and it's got stabbing daggers in one's back.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Jesse ends up asking questions like who's still talking to
- 25:33Speaker 2: an X? Who is most likely to get on the
- 25:38Speaker 2: nerves of their significant other because their child like acts,
- 25:41Speaker 2: you know antics. It was an interesting. It was interesting.
- 25:46Speaker 2: It wasn't as backstabby as I would have thought. It
- 25:48Speaker 2: wasn't like they were really talking behind their back.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Right, I think it would be kind of a I mean,
- 25:55Speaker 4: now it's down to what eight people.
- 25:57Speaker 2: And yeah it was anonymous. That's why it wasn't so
- 25:59Speaker 2: hard to me.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Yeah, but then all of a sudden I would be like, god, dude,
- 26:04Speaker 4: that kind of hurts to think. So I don't know
- 26:06Speaker 4: if there's first of all, I'm pretty good with math, right,
- 26:09Speaker 4: so if I'm seeing six daggers in my back from
- 26:13Speaker 4: one thing. I'm like, okay, pretty sure everybody here except
- 26:16Speaker 4: my dude or my chick didn't throw a knife at
- 26:19Speaker 4: my back on that one, because it looked like, I mean,
- 26:21Speaker 4: on a couple of those, like even Andrew on the
- 26:23Speaker 4: first one, the childlike behavior one, I thought, I don't know, I.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Don't I must have missed where that was coming from.
- 26:29Speaker 4: But that was pretty much like him, right, they said
- 26:32Speaker 4: Alex and Andrew got the most on that one, and
- 26:34Speaker 4: then the next was trust issues. That was Cat and Dale. Yeah,
- 26:39Speaker 4: then I took notes. This is how interesting this was
- 26:42Speaker 4: to me. The biggest Oh what was this the biggest
- 26:45Speaker 4: codependent jessin Spencer.
- 26:47Speaker 3: That's probably pretty.
- 26:47Speaker 2: True, just you know, definitely definitely on her, Oh for sure.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Yeah, talking to an ex.
- 27:05Speaker 3: And this one went to Jeremy.
- 27:07Speaker 2: So this seemed weird because we have heard there's rumors
- 27:12Speaker 2: around the internet and such that Kat had snuck an
- 27:15Speaker 2: iPad in and she was texting an ex. Yeah, they
- 27:21Speaker 2: either didn't flash to the right back when saying this
- 27:26Speaker 2: when like airing this, or it's just a rumor. So
- 27:32Speaker 2: we'll see, because if she was truly texting somebody in
- 27:35Speaker 2: an iPad. I think that would have come out here.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Well, if it hasn't come out, it looks like the uh,
- 27:43Speaker 4: the Paradise Parliament or whatever is coming back in the
- 27:46Speaker 4: next episode.
- 27:47Speaker 3: It's coming out if there's anything going on, because that
- 27:49Speaker 3: dude's pissede. He's like fired up man.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah. What I thought was weird was that Kathy and
- 27:58Speaker 2: Keith actually didn't win this challenge. I thought they would
- 28:01Speaker 2: have the least daggers because I so too. All the
- 28:04Speaker 2: questions didn't seem to be directed towards them, right, They
- 28:09Speaker 2: also seem to be directed towards younger people.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Although when they went to the who doesn't deserve to
- 28:13Speaker 4: be here? It looked like it looked like Keith might
- 28:16Speaker 4: have gotten every one of them.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I guess when it comes down to it, they got that,
- 28:19Speaker 2: and then Andrew and Alex ended up winning, but they
- 28:23Speaker 2: did get that childish dagger. Yeah, so they end up winning,
- 28:26Speaker 2: which you know, you and I both freeth the sigh
- 28:30Speaker 2: of relief. I didn't think they were actually going to
- 28:32Speaker 2: be in danger, but it's nice going into the Rose
- 28:35Speaker 2: ceremony knowing that they're gonna be safe. But we don't
- 28:38Speaker 2: get to see the Rose ceremony. Here we do see
- 28:42Speaker 2: them kind of pairing up though, talking alliances because they're
- 28:48Speaker 2: gonna be limiting two couples and it's gonna be the
- 28:51Speaker 2: last row ceremony, so we're gonna get down to three
- 28:54Speaker 2: serious couples, which means that one of this year we
- 28:59Speaker 2: know they can. Athy and Keith are leaving. Kathleen and
- 29:01Speaker 2: Keith are really being so so sweet because Keith is saying, hey,
- 29:05Speaker 2: I'm eliminating us, you know, I'm going forward for the money,
- 29:10Speaker 2: which is really really so sweet. He also knows there's
- 29:13Speaker 2: no chance of them winning here, but he said, and
- 29:16Speaker 2: it was the most endearing thing I've watched all episodes,
- 29:20Speaker 2: all seasons of Bachelor in Paradise, and this show is
- 29:22Speaker 2: about love and that's what I want to root for,
- 29:24Speaker 2: not money. Then we see, like, you know, everybody talking
- 29:28Speaker 2: alliances and whatnot. But what I want to talk about
- 29:33Speaker 2: as we wrap up this episode is what Jesse says
- 29:36Speaker 2: in the teaser. He says, you guys have all like
- 29:40Speaker 2: known that there's money involved at the end of this,
- 29:44Speaker 2: but you do have to choose between love and money.
- 29:47Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, it's so interesting to figure out what
- 29:50Speaker 4: the hell this show is at this point because you know,
- 29:53Speaker 4: I even said at the beginning a couple of weeks ago,
- 29:55Speaker 4: when they first started talking about the money, I was like, Oh,
- 29:56Speaker 4: I wonder if there's gonna be like a for.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Lover money spin on this thing. Yeah, brought up the
- 30:00Speaker 3: Bachelor pad.
- 30:01Speaker 4: How the one dude chose, you know, to keep it
- 30:04Speaker 4: instead of share it, and he was a villain, but he,
- 30:07Speaker 4: you know, he made money. And it's interesting because now
- 30:09Speaker 4: here comes that twist right where it's really going to
- 30:11Speaker 4: be a circumstance where you know, let's be honest, man,
- 30:15Speaker 4: if if if if Jeremy, let's say, let's say hypothetically
- 30:20Speaker 4: it's Jeremy and Bailey at the end, and Jeremy's like,
- 30:23Speaker 4: I know that Bailey is into me and loving me,
- 30:26Speaker 4: but I'm not there yet. I mean, does he choose money?
- 30:29Speaker 4: Does she choose love? Like, and then what happened.
- 30:32Speaker 2: To me is choosing money in this situation?
- 30:34Speaker 3: Oh my god, no doubt right, And then he's coming.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Might even be choosing money. Kat might be choosing money.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I don't. I do think that. And I think that
- 30:45Speaker 2: Alex and Andrew and I don't mean to like just
- 30:48Speaker 2: pump them up so much. But I think they're gonna
- 30:51Speaker 2: be the ones that would have the most ethical dilemma
- 30:54Speaker 2: if it comes down to them being the champions and
- 30:56Speaker 2: having to choose between one or the other. Now, it's
- 30:58Speaker 2: all about appearances in my opinion, because it's a different
- 31:02Speaker 2: world than it was. I even think during Bachelor PAB.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I think just because of exposure and reality TV and
- 31:10Speaker 2: like us kind of all of us, not just you
- 31:13Speaker 2: and I who have been involved to kind of see
- 31:15Speaker 2: beyond the curtain a little bit more now, right, Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 2: even the casual viewer who's really into the love element
- 31:23Speaker 2: of Bachelor is going to be like, guys, you take
- 31:26Speaker 2: the money and then you meet off camera and you
- 31:28Speaker 2: can get married.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Like, no one says you can't stay together, you know.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Nobody says you can't be together. I wonder if Jess's
- 31:35Speaker 2: going to say, there's like a thing where if we
- 31:39Speaker 2: catch you being together within a year of this show,
- 31:44Speaker 2: you can't do that.
- 31:45Speaker 3: You can't enforce that, No, you can't.
- 31:48Speaker 4: I mean, I would think at the end of the day,
- 31:50Speaker 4: if it came down to somebody, you know, for loving
- 31:53Speaker 4: or for money, And I mean, first of all, if
- 31:57Speaker 4: they both say so, here's here's here's the thing, which
- 32:00Speaker 4: I know we'll find out. We'll find out next week.
- 32:02Speaker 4: But what if they both say for love and they're
- 32:05Speaker 4: the winning couple, does that mean no one gets that money?
- 32:08Speaker 2: My guess is this It's gonna be kind of like
- 32:11Speaker 2: Beauty and the Beast.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Yeah, if you.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Fall in love, you will get something, if you like
- 32:19Speaker 2: make them fall in love when there's I don't even
- 32:23Speaker 2: know how to describe this. You know what Beauty and
- 32:24Speaker 2: the Beast works as he got her to fall in
- 32:27Speaker 2: love with him as a beast, and then she got
- 32:30Speaker 2: her treat, which was he was a very handsome prince.
- 32:33Speaker 2: So I'm thinking that maybe if they end up saying
- 32:37Speaker 2: we choose love, that's the ticket to actually getting the money.
- 32:41Speaker 3: To get the money. Oh my god, that'd be amazing,
- 32:43Speaker 3: wouldn't it.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be amazing because I would like that
- 32:46Speaker 4: more personally because it's like, to me, the money element
- 32:50Speaker 4: somebody walking off of this show with five hundred grand
- 32:53Speaker 4: and breaking someone else's heart.
- 32:55Speaker 2: You and I know that this show has never been
- 32:57Speaker 2: this generous. No, five hundred grand that is hundreds hundreds,
- 33:03Speaker 2: four hundred thousand, at least more than they've ever paid
- 33:07Speaker 2: their lead right right, Yeah, that is a ton of money.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Real you know, they don't fly us first class or
- 33:15Speaker 2: anything like that, Like what the city around.
- 33:20Speaker 4: This's gotta be some twist and they got to be
- 33:22Speaker 4: planning on splitting it havesies at the end somehow someway
- 33:26Speaker 4: for that couple.
- 33:27Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 33:28Speaker 4: It'll be interesting to see what happens for sure, But
- 33:31Speaker 4: I mean, man, some of the best relationships have come
- 33:35Speaker 4: out of The Bachelor in Paradise, and I feel like
- 33:38Speaker 4: this could be another one.
- 33:39Speaker 2: You never know, and let me just blow up their
- 33:42Speaker 2: spot a little bit more Alex and Andrew. There's something
- 33:45Speaker 2: about looking at the two of them together that I'm like,
- 33:48Speaker 2: you guys look like you're supposed to be together. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 2: they knowing them from separate shows, I feel like they
- 33:55Speaker 2: were meant to meet here. I think they really could
- 33:59Speaker 2: be the next great Bachelor love story. And I'm sorry
- 34:02Speaker 2: for ignoring the Jess and Spencer of it all. I
- 34:06Speaker 2: feel like Jess and Spencer. There's an inkling inside me
- 34:08Speaker 2: that just says they could be like the Carly and
- 34:12Speaker 2: Kirk of this season.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yes, yes, so it's.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Like the entire season, everybody thinks they're gonna end up together.
- 34:18Speaker 2: And I think that they will end up together, but
- 34:20Speaker 2: I don't think that they're serious enough to be in
- 34:23Speaker 2: an end an engagement. Do you think that anybody will
- 34:26Speaker 2: end here in engagement? Kat is already honest saying issue
- 34:29Speaker 2: will not.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Yeah, well yeah, Kat, respect, good job Kat.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Yeah, she's been there, done that, and you know, one
- 34:37Speaker 4: wants to be like you know, ross from friends, where
- 34:39Speaker 4: you get like, you know, engaged or married sixty four times.
- 34:42Speaker 3: But I do think that I look at it.
- 34:44Speaker 4: I'm with you on this because I don't I don't
- 34:48Speaker 4: get the vibe from anybody else except Andrew and Alex
- 34:52Speaker 4: that they're that they're hitting their stride at the right time.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Yes, like you know what I mean, Like I think I.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Think Jess and God, I can't wind like Spencer.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I keep forgetting his name too for some Yeah,
- 35:06Speaker 2: and he's.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Like insanely into her and it's like, you know, but
- 35:08Speaker 4: it's like they peaked too early.
- 35:10Speaker 3: I feel I feel like Cat and Dale. Cat and
- 35:13Speaker 3: Dale are just like you know, the King. Yeah, I'm
- 35:17Speaker 3: still I'm scared about for sure.
- 35:20Speaker 2: They're like in high school and it nicks. Yeah, and.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Then you got the other ones, which I know we
- 35:27Speaker 4: keep like totally just ignoring them, but they're there's they're
- 35:30Speaker 4: not there either, right, Jeremy. Jeremy's just something's off, something's
- 35:33Speaker 4: off there. Bailey seems so sweet, she's so good. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:38Speaker 4: she and she's being I feel I hope, I hope
- 35:40Speaker 4: I'm wrong, but it feels like she's being played a
- 35:42Speaker 4: little bit. And but I don't think Jeremy, I honestly don't.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I don't know why, but I don't think Jeremy is
- 35:47Speaker 4: doing it maliciously. I think he's in the moment he
- 35:50Speaker 4: wanted to redeem himself because that Susie thing might have
- 35:53Speaker 4: just been a thing. Here I go again, making excuses
- 35:56Speaker 4: for everyone. But I feel like I feel like, underneath
- 35:59Speaker 4: it all, he's not in this situation to hurt her.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Like you can tell, he cares about her.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I think at this point it's not even appropriate for
- 36:06Speaker 2: them to leave, you know, because they still like each other. Yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 2: and we're still not even done eliminating the people that
- 36:12Speaker 2: don't like each other, Okay, Kathy and Keith. Right, and
- 36:16Speaker 2: now now, of course, with the two eliminations, yes, we
- 36:18Speaker 2: are down to the this is this would start to
- 36:21Speaker 2: be the appropriate time for them to leave if he
- 36:23Speaker 2: is not like getting to be in the love point.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I do like the way that this seems like there
- 36:28Speaker 2: won't be any sort of pressure to be get engaged.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I think I've named this stat before, but I think
- 36:34Speaker 2: half of all married Bachelor in Paradise couples did not
- 36:38Speaker 2: get engaged in Paradise.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I think, if not more of the people that you're
- 36:44Speaker 2: married from Paradise didn't get engaged there.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Yeah, So it's good take that stress off the table.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Well, and it's like, you know, Neil Lane gets a
- 36:53Speaker 4: lot of camera time. He's good, Neil Lane's good. We
- 36:57Speaker 4: don't need to be thrown out unless they're getting five
- 37:00Speaker 4: hundred thousand dollars worth of Neil Laine rings, you know.
- 37:02Speaker 3: And that's what the whole prize is.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Some catch to this, right, It's gonna be the great,
- 37:05Speaker 2: the biggest neel Aane ring we've ever seen in our lives.
- 37:08Speaker 4: It's just like one giant It's like a hat with
- 37:11Speaker 4: a giant diamond on it.
- 37:13Speaker 3: I don't know it's gonna be.
- 37:14Speaker 4: It's gonna be interesting because I feel like, to me,
- 37:18Speaker 4: I mean the money part of it, I get it.
- 37:20Speaker 4: It was introduced to kind of you know, bring that
- 37:23Speaker 4: whole a new twist to the show and all that
- 37:26Speaker 4: kind of stuff. But part of me is hopeful that
- 37:31Speaker 4: there is some type of love that comes from the show,
- 37:33Speaker 4: because that's always been kind of the magic of it,
- 37:36Speaker 4: you know, is that whole fairy tale ending that everybody loves,
- 37:40Speaker 4: you know, and I wouldn't mind seeing that.
- 37:43Speaker 2: I believe that the twist the final episode, it's all
- 37:46Speaker 2: gonna come together and prove that the show really is
- 37:49Speaker 2: about love over money.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be pretty sweet. It looks like it
- 37:54Speaker 4: gets pretty it looks like it gets pretty dicey next week.
- 37:56Speaker 4: I mean the previews obviously they're bringing back you know,
- 37:59Speaker 4: it's kind of like Survivor, right, they're bringing I mean,
- 38:01Speaker 4: they are combining so many shows into this new format.
- 38:04Speaker 4: They're they're bringing back the whole cast. They're gonna be like,
- 38:06Speaker 4: you know, you're the tribe is spoken. We're getting that
- 38:09Speaker 4: element coming up with the Parliament, Paradise Parliament. But we're
- 38:13Speaker 4: also getting you know, basically, there's gonna be there's gonna
- 38:16Speaker 4: be some people thrown under the bus because it looks
- 38:17Speaker 4: like hysterics and Sue. I mean, it looks like, you know,
- 38:21Speaker 4: obviously we know that Keith and Kathy are going home,
- 38:24Speaker 4: and then who's the who's the couple that you think
- 38:27Speaker 4: of the four would be on the chop block? Like,
- 38:30Speaker 4: which one do you think would be the next one
- 38:32Speaker 4: to go home?
- 38:33Speaker 2: I do think I think it'll be Bailey and Jeremy
- 38:35Speaker 2: because of all the things we've said, but also because
- 38:40Speaker 2: of the Parliament, and I think the Parliament's going to
- 38:43Speaker 2: bring up a lot about the Susie stuff. I also
- 38:47Speaker 2: think that they're going to get at Kat. It seems
- 38:52Speaker 2: like Alisha, I'm sorry that I cannot ever say her name, Alicia, Alicia,
- 38:59Speaker 2: Alicia Silversion. Yeah, she seems like to have a vendetta
- 39:02Speaker 2: against Kat and she's.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Yeah, they're fired up. I mean they have definitely been.
- 39:09Speaker 4: They probably spent some time with the producers on there
- 39:12Speaker 4: three days since they've been off the off the ranch,
- 39:15Speaker 4: and they probably have just been getting so fired up
- 39:19Speaker 4: about how to settle the score when they come back
- 39:21Speaker 4: in there. So it's gonna be, you know, it's definitely
- 39:24Speaker 4: gonna be some fireworks for sure. And it's funny tonight.
- 39:27Speaker 4: You know, my brother in law and a few of
- 39:28Speaker 4: my buddies that I was with this weekend. They are avid,
- 39:32Speaker 4: avid Bachelor and Paradise fans, and they literally all dudes,
- 39:36Speaker 4: like their wives don't even watch the show. And they're like,
- 39:39Speaker 4: they're like texting me all night. We don't want any spoilers.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Don't tell us anything. You know, we know you've seen
- 39:45Speaker 4: the show. I'm like, actually I haven't. We're watching it
- 39:47Speaker 4: later tonight. What. Oh my god, Well, we're not gonna
- 39:50Speaker 4: tell you anything that so we don't want to, you know,
- 39:51Speaker 4: influence your your podcast.
- 39:53Speaker 3: I'm just like, you guys are fools. But anyway, they're
- 39:56Speaker 3: they're so into the show and they're like, I mean
- 40:00Speaker 3: and there after.
- 40:01Speaker 4: The you know, they showed the previous for next week
- 40:03Speaker 4: or whatever. I'm just getting blown up. Oh my god,
- 40:06Speaker 4: this is happening. This is gonna be this is going
- 40:08Speaker 4: to be a reckoning. Things are going down next week.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Guys, are you getting this because we're recording this at
- 40:13Speaker 2: ten thirty pm Eastern, Like your your tex should be
- 40:16Speaker 2: rolling in about it.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Oh they're rolling, they're rolling.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm watching it blown up my phone right now
- 40:21Speaker 4: as we speak.
